00:03:19.340I'm going to say it's Chilliwack. Russ from Winnipeg. Wanda's watching from Black Diamond.
00:03:26.040Dawn is watching from Blind River, Ontario. Hello, Rick in St. Anne.
00:03:30.960Al is watching. John, Janet, Brad, Cindy from Quebec.
00:03:35.680Sean is watching from the Osborne Village. Hello, Joan from Nova Scotia.
00:03:39.540Hello, Tracy from Calgary. Dawn, Linda, Tiz, Michael, Michelle, Patricia.
00:03:45.320Oh, we got a full house tonight. All right. Don't forget to like and share, you guys.
00:03:48.200It's important that we get the show out to as many people as we possibly can.
00:03:52.440Like I said, Josie is coming on in just a couple of seconds.
00:03:54.940The show is brought to you by CanadaNanoSilver.ca and by Tacit Investigations and Security.
00:04:03.420A couple of things I want to cover a little bit later on in the show tonight include Danielle Smith doing a press conference,
00:04:08.780an open phoner from Alberta citizens talking about what she plans to do regarding the vaccination
00:04:17.580passports and these mandates that some companies are still enforcing and some
00:04:22.040charitable organizations are, excuse me, still trying to enforce. She says, anytime we hear
00:04:28.520about anything like this, we'll be making phone calls, you can bet, especially when we find out
00:04:34.380that they're funded by us at least in part also some interesting camera work on uh deputy prime
00:04:42.480minister christia freeland's testimony at the commission last week i want to run something by
00:04:48.460you guys in a few minutes and see what you think if justice rulo was actually coaching her answer
00:04:54.960because he got simultaneous cameras on him and on her and it looks like he does
00:05:03.860that as she's looking at him and she's trying to formulate an answer to one of brendan miller's
00:05:10.880questions but then she he just kind of goes like that and she goes and she stops talking
00:05:17.100interesting i thought but i thought i'd run it past you guys and see what
00:05:21.440you have to say all right let's bring josie on hello josie how you doing thanks for coming
00:05:25.720on the show tonight thanks for having me i'm so happy to be here yeah cool so listen tell us all
00:05:31.980about Posties for Freedom, what you guys are doing here. Yeah, no problem. So Posties for Freedom
00:05:39.960was started actually over a year ago now. I can't believe it's been over a year. We've celebrated
00:05:47.860our one-year anniversary of being locked out of our workplaces on November 29th. So tomorrow is
00:05:56.200the official one-year anniversary of getting locked out. However, we did get officially put
00:06:02.220on notice in October, at the end of October, one year ago. So Posties for Freedom came together
00:06:10.700because there was a need for support for Canada Post employees who felt they were alone in their
00:06:17.860mindsets or perhaps in their thinking that they wanted medical privacy or that they didn't want
00:06:23.240disclosed certain information about them and um you know a lot of them were segregated targeted
00:06:29.560and harassed and brought um you know literally uh taken out of the workplace so uh postings for
00:06:36.500freedom came together because there was a need for support for these employees but also because
00:06:41.360employees like myself felt like um the corporation was very wrong and did not want to comply with
00:06:49.380this process and felt that the right thing to do was to stand up for people so here we are we're a
00:06:56.620group of 300 employees that came together and we are always recruiting more not recruiting is not
00:07:06.480the right word sorry we're always welcoming more members more employees that want to join us
00:07:11.060any Canada Post employee that feels that they have been targeted or segregated or harassed at work
00:07:18.000go to postiesforfreedom.ca and check us out but that's the beginning of of posties for freedom
00:07:25.200and and really it it came together with just a few uh zoom calls but i gotta tell okay let me let me
00:07:33.020stop you right right there josie because you you and i were talking on the phone i think last week
00:07:37.600and and you're the founder of it you're the one that started the whole thing correct yes well
00:07:42.660myself and a bunch of employees in the GTA region, but I was the only one who was, you know, sort of
00:07:50.240from the Ottawa area, surprisingly. So you actually had to start the ball rolling. It must have been
00:07:59.740petrifying for you being amongst all of those people and not knowing who to trust, you know,
00:08:05.000like one of the people you may have worked with for 10 years or five years, and all of a sudden
00:08:09.360they might be staring at you like wondering if you're vaccinated or not. And I can't even imagine
00:08:14.660what life would have been like in an environment like that. Yeah, it was definitely weird for me
00:08:19.180personally, because I work from home. So I was, you know, told to work from home from March 2020
00:08:24.920on. And so it was definitely strange for me to feel like I had to be, you know, mandated to do
00:08:31.500something. And wait a minute, they were they were actually mandating people who were working from
00:08:37.700home via zoom yeah correct and i don't physically i hadn't gone into the office since march of 2020
00:08:44.840right so by the time october 2021 came along i was very i was shocked and that's what drove me
00:08:51.680to go online and look for other people who worked for canada post who may feel the way that i do
00:08:57.360because i was like really segregated out of my workplace to begin with right um so i was like
00:09:05.040oh okay well um maybe some other people feel the way that i do i feel pretty strongly about this
00:09:10.440and and i did i found a group of people that had been advocating for this for for months and i was
00:09:17.280just able to um bring us all together really so now let me just clear this up for me and for
00:09:24.620everybody who might be wondering posties for freedom does it include union members cup w union
00:09:31.600members and non-union members correct so we tend to every person that's a canada post employee that
00:09:40.160just feels that they were again not in the right um not treated correctly they were harassed there
00:09:46.240was a bunch of things that they felt but we want to tend to all members because it doesn't matter
00:09:51.120if you're part of a union or not it you're you're still an employee you're still a human being you
00:09:55.680still have these rights and we wanted to ensure that everybody understood that we did not judge
00:10:00.320based on uh and also um canada post is a place where very much management and union has this
00:10:08.400big segregation or this big divide between the two groups and um while i felt a little uh you know
00:10:15.600surprised by some of the reaction i got because i'm a management employee um i i got a weird
00:10:22.560reaction from union members that didn't trust me you know so there was a lot of things to overcome
00:10:27.440at the beginning that were kind of weird to me but that's a culture instilled by canada post
00:10:33.040what kinds of stories of harassment have you heard and were you harassed yourself
00:10:38.960by upper management or even just by co-workers what's that been like
00:10:42.560um to be honest my personal journey uh throughout this has not been anything compared to some of my
00:10:50.640peers so i prefer to share some of my peers stories but i can share my own personal as well
00:10:56.500I don't mind. But my peers have really gone through a lot, right? So, like, let's compare it to myself, you know, I'm a management employee, I work from home, you know, I do feel that in a world in 2022, right now, you know, I'm in an ideal state.
00:11:14.080However, leading up to to this, you know, I worked hard. It's 15 years at Canada Post. I have been a frontline employee myself. So I understand what it is to be frontline and, you know, to be expected to be at work at a certain time to be on break on these certain times. And a lot of these people, again, they don't have the same perks that we do in terms of a work schedule.
00:11:38.080So my colleagues and my peers were really, really harassed.
00:11:43.840First of all, we were all harassed or coerced and forced into doing something that we didn't want to do.
00:11:50.780And that goes for any Canada Post employee because we were all mandated.
00:11:56.140We were all coerced and forced to do something, regardless if we willingly went there or not.
00:12:02.040at the end of the day to call that 1-800 number and to attest to your personal medical information
00:12:08.360you are coerced and forced to do that so it there is no there is nobody that is higher or above
00:12:16.200however frontline employees were really treated badly they were locked out of the workplace they
00:12:22.120were harassed a lot of them went into the workplace and they felt already um outnumbered even before
00:12:30.360the mandate was brought in because of the culture of the workplace there so already the union was
00:12:37.080pushing you know this idea that everyone should get vaccinated and everyone should you know get
00:12:42.840the job and and everyone should just do it and and all already that culture was instilled but it
00:12:48.920became even worse when the announcement came out and some of the stories that we hear are really
00:12:54.920heart-wrenching people were literally um treated different because they knew each other's statuses
00:13:03.460or because they knew oh this person uh this person would never get the job so um you know i i'm not
00:13:10.720going to go near them or things like that there was even there was even an incident where there
00:13:15.440was um you know a cardboard cutout by by some equipment saying um not vaccinated get out uh
00:13:23.240no job or you know something like that I'm not what do you mean a cardboard cutout a cardboard
00:13:28.260cutout of the a person no it was just a cardboard cutout just it looked like as somebody had
00:13:33.620taken a cardboard a piece of cardboard and handwritten on it no vaccine get out or you know
00:13:41.400no job and something like along those lines and and that that picture was actually floated around
00:13:47.600social media and and um just the comments that you see from social media um you know but from
00:13:56.700like on cup w pages you know of cup w members you know treating each other that way and just the
00:14:03.420the serious divide that there was at work um i i can't even i can't even talk about some of the
00:14:09.980instances that that that touch my heart the most but um there is one instance where we have a lot
00:14:16.940A lot of views on our social media is where somebody was trying to go in on November 29th,
00:14:23.240simply trying to go into work and being told by the security guard that they are not vaccinated so they can't come in.
00:14:29.920So there's all these assumptions that people made during the lockouts or, you know, we're calling it the lockout.
00:14:36.040But, you know, essentially what happened was Canada Post did not allow certain employees to come into the workplace because they labeled them noncompliant.
00:14:45.120but they chose that they did that those employees did not choose to be non-compliant
00:14:52.160no employee chose this no employee chose to go on leave without pay and so all of the naysayers
00:15:01.100that are saying no you know it was a choice it's very difficult to have conversations with these
00:15:06.320people but however i feel very very comfortable saying that there's no choice when your employer
00:15:13.280does not let you come in unless you do something that is not a choice no that is that is the very
00:15:21.040definition of of coercion to be completely honest i mean it's like okay do this i've got a gun to
00:15:26.380your head right exactly so i think a lot of people don't realize another thing and sorry i don't want
00:15:35.340to interrupt you but no no a lot of people don't realize that you know posties for freedom started
00:15:41.580also because there was people that said that i don't fit in these two options like you know
00:15:49.520i don't fit in these two options but i know that if i go try to get a medical accommodations
00:15:56.960because i'm pregnant for example will i be able to get one probably not no the the exemptions were
00:16:06.340very narrow that's for sure and some of the doctors who were giving exemptions out to people
00:16:11.000are standing in front of a medical board now trying to explain their case which is ridiculous
00:16:16.940if you ask me i mean this when have we ever had the state tell us what we have to do in terms of
00:16:23.240a medical procedure that's usually up to the patient with consultation from the doctor let
00:16:29.220me ask you this because you represent both union employees and management employees people who are
00:16:34.900not in cup w is it different for the cup w members of posties for freedom because they do belong to
00:16:43.020the union that didn't represent them no it's no different and listen there's actually four
00:16:48.560different unions at canada post so we don't just have cup w and management members we have also
00:16:53.700all of the unions so that we have folks from every union at canada post and we have supported all of
00:16:59.400them. So there is no difference between them. Why? Because it's not an employment issue. It's a human
00:17:08.020rights issue. And it's a health and safety issue. And so there's two major issues here when it came
00:17:16.500to the mandate. Number one, the human rights aspect. And number two, the health and safety
00:17:22.080aspect. The union does touch some of the health and safety aspect. However, the human rights
00:17:28.260aspect does not touch the union and unfortunately they were not able to defend the membership in my
00:17:35.700opinion and this is just my opinion they were not able to defend the membership properly in
00:17:40.980arbitration and so in my no hold on josie let me let me uh stop you for just one second by the way
00:17:46.920josie uh is the founder of posties for freedom and she's my guest on the show tonight so were
00:17:52.120Were they not able to defend the union employees or were they not willing to defend the union employees?
00:18:03.060But again, from my own opinion, I don't think they were willing.
00:18:06.960Again, I have no ties to the union, but I found them to have some very questionable actions during the arbitration, which are very out in the open.
00:18:16.320Posties for Freedom has not been silent about these things.
00:18:20.460But, you know, what kind of actions during the arbitration would happen that were questionable?
00:18:26.880Well, let's take let's let's go back to the to the start of the mandate, for example.
00:18:32.400So there was no talk about a national grievance, which is essentially what is filed when the union says, hey, Mr.
00:21:45.760And, and again, you can be pro all of these things and bias, but then how can you call yourself, you know, an expert, um, and provide, you know, uh, you know, you're, you're dealing with people's livelihoods and you're providing an expert opinion on people's livelihoods here.
00:22:03.020And I just, I wonder where his, I wonder how he sleeps at night just based on just some of the things that I, and again, it's just, why would we hire somebody like that?
00:22:14.500If you wanted to stand up for your membership and this is really, really what you wanted to do, why would you do something like that?
00:22:22.060I get it. I mean, there's people who you just can't even understand what's going on here unless there's some sort of money changing hands behind closed doors and nobody knows about it, at least not yet.
00:22:32.460i want to touch on the human rights aspect of this um i think most provinces you know it's
00:22:39.340interesting here in manitoba we've got the canadian museum for human rights and people
00:22:44.240who are unvaccinated couldn't go in for uh the longest time i thought okay wait a minute wait
00:22:51.160a minute hold on just a second this is the canadian museum for human rights but you're
00:22:55.580segregating people from getting in or not getting in so there was a couple of protests there
00:23:01.000but i find that human rights boards across the country have pretty much changed their definition
00:23:07.820of um of discrimination have you found that as well i don't know if they've changed the
00:23:15.840definition or if they're just going around um everything but i haven't i'm i'm not as caught
00:23:22.420up to date as i should be on you know what's going on with human rights out there but i can
00:23:27.020say that for us it's it's a combination of the human rights and health and safety that we really
00:23:33.500feel has this this aspect that a lot of um a lot of these lawsuits have not put together that's
00:23:43.400that's how we feel and so your human rights were violated but there's also all of these other
00:23:49.220aspects where federal employees have to go through certain um you know processes in order to implement
00:23:57.540health and safety um policies and practices and from what we know we we have yet to receive any
00:24:05.620of the information we've requested like risk assessments and things like that but we have not
00:24:09.540received that and that's where the union is supposed to come in and supposed to say hey as
00:24:15.180per our contract you're supposed to you know do this you're supposed to do that and they're
00:24:20.640supposed to follow these rules and so we are our cases is really you know it's it's based on health
00:24:28.060and safety as well because our health and safety is our employer's responsibility when we go to work
00:24:35.400so if they mandate us to wear um you know purple underwear every every day to work we got to make
00:24:45.560sure that that purple underwear is safe to put on and it's safe to wear every day and and that
00:24:50.300there's you know all these checks and these balances done and from what we see we those
00:24:56.260were not done and we've requested to see that information and this is all stuff that the union
00:25:00.780should be doing you know the union should have said hey where is the risk assessment for these
00:25:06.300masks that you want to implement where's the risk assessment for this vaccine that you want
00:25:11.960everybody to take where is the liability going to happen what's going to happen if somebody gets
00:25:17.400injured from from that thing that you want everybody to take what is your process well
00:25:23.540there there is no process and there is no risk assessment i mean that you can ask for it and
00:25:28.900they haven't got it to you because it's not there they haven't got it right or they do have it and
00:25:34.720they find it doesn't work in their favor so they're not going to give it to you and this is to me this
00:25:39.940is underhanded behavior and they're using uh i mean canada post is a government agency they've
00:25:44.880got money coming out of the wazoo and you guys don't so they're going to try and just play out
00:25:49.220the string until you run out of money and you're forced to capitulate that's what big entities do
00:25:54.440So let's talk about the lawsuit that you guys have put together here.
00:25:58.860Leighton Gray is your guy out in Alberta, correct?
00:26:28.620We know that when the policy, the first deadline came in on November 2021, November 29th, 2021,
00:26:37.320we know that there was about 16,000 employees that had not attested.
00:26:42.520And we know that by the time that the mandate was lifted and we went back to work in July.
00:26:49.380so if you were put on leave without pay and you were on leave without pay the entire time
00:26:53.740but back to work in July these people would have been put on leave without pay for eight months
00:27:01.640and they would have waited right up until July some did not but it was about 4,000 or a little
00:27:09.240less than 4,000 from what we heard to to end with from what we know but again it's very hard to know
00:27:15.440how many there was. Okay. And so these people who did go back to work, they haven't received
00:27:20.880any back pay from this. That is not going to happen. And that's what the lawsuit is for,
00:27:24.200I'm assuming. No, the lawsuit has nothing to do with back pay. Actually, it is all based on human
00:27:29.360rights damages. And it's all based on being harassed. It's based on our health and safety
00:27:35.960at work not being um it's being violated and the employer um violating aspects of um the uh
00:27:45.960of the human rights charter and also like i said there's a bunch of health and safety aspects that
00:27:52.920are that go into the west ray law for example um so it's it's a bit complicated on that sense but
00:27:59.560But the Westray incident happened in 1992 and, you know, there was a ruling on it.
00:28:06.040And essentially, you know, what happens is that, you know, corporations can be held civilly accountable and criminally accountable.
00:28:15.040And what Posties for Freedom has done is tied Westray into our case because it is absolutely, by definition, appropriate, in our opinion, of course.
00:28:28.600So we want to ensure that we hold people accountable, not only civilly by asking for damages, but also criminally for implementing and enforcing this.
00:28:43.540Have you gotten more people who have been put on leave without pay from other organizations in on this lawsuit, or is this strictly postal workers?
00:28:52.680It is strictly Canada Post employees. However, because we are, you know, one of many groups of Flayton Gray, and because we have been doing this for a year, we spoke at the convoy, we have made a great network of resources and a great network of talents and skills at Posties for Freedom.
00:29:10.680So we actually talk to many of the groups and we help many people who are not postal employees either find a group that they can, you know, get help in or, you know, we're not just doing a lawsuit.
00:29:23.980We're really a group that's doing a lot more than that.
00:29:27.480You're an advocate group, which is fantastic because there's so many people.
00:29:30.940You know what, Josie, I'm looking at the comments right now and I can't even keep up with all of the comments from the people who are saying I was put on leave without pay.
00:29:40.680I don't know what to do. My union didn't stand up for me. And so what are they supposed to do?
00:29:46.220Are they supposed to get a hold of you? So you're going to have a lot, just so you know,
00:29:50.440there's going to be a lot of people getting in touch with you, I think.
00:29:53.420If you Canada Post employee, you can go to posteaseforfreedom.ca and go to contact us
00:30:01.880and fill out our questionnaire. If you're not an employee, we have been helping some people,
00:30:07.920like i said point them to groups that we're in touch with um so again uh there's lots of ways
00:30:14.160but just through our website is the best way to get a hold of us and um if you were put on leave
00:30:19.680without pay and you are part of a union or you're part of a uh you know i would suggest that you go
00:30:25.680online there are many groups out there still and still looking for more members and us even us
00:30:31.680canada post employees if you're still looking um again our first lawsuit is closed however
00:30:38.320we are still accepting people for a second lawsuit we are still accepting people into
00:30:44.480our group as a community we are doing more than a lawsuit again we are filing grievances for
00:30:50.720you know because when we went back to work we owed thousands of dollars in arrears and benefits
00:30:56.400and for our pensions right so a lot of these folks were forced on leave without pay and then
00:31:01.680they were like oh here you come back to work and here's like three thousand dollars that you owe us
00:31:06.000here's four thousand dollars that you owe us things like that so we're helping members that
00:31:10.880canada post uh employees of course um you know take a stand and understand okay this is this is
00:31:17.140how you deal with this this is how you deal with this issue because i think a lot of i think a lot
00:31:21.920of employees and a lot of people who are might be listening right now they're just so overwhelmed
00:31:26.960with okay where do i go for this where do i go for that right and i think posties for freedom
00:31:31.600has kind of like narrowed down like where you go for things um so you know when it comes to
00:31:37.720employment related issue we always make sure that our that our members are clear that you know when
00:31:43.560it comes to money that you that the corporation is claiming that you owe back um we've we've got
00:31:49.700a grievance ready for you guys um you know make sure that you file it by the state make sure that
00:31:55.260you blah blah blah blah right so we give good good advice and good guidance and and we ensure that
00:32:01.720they go through the proper channels right so if you have a human rights um complaint well you
00:32:07.660ensure you need to go to the human rights commission right so there's a lot of different
00:32:11.680entities and branches that deal with a lot of these things and i think that's where employees
00:32:15.640are so overwhelmed they don't know where to go to and what to where to go for what right uh when
00:32:23.240people came back to work this past summer how were they treated it depends who you ask i think i think
00:32:32.920a lot of people were treated okay but i think a lot of people suffered greatly so you get the
00:32:39.800spectrum on both um you know anything from hey you came back to work i know you were on leave
00:32:47.080and uh you were sick over the weekend so you should wear a mask because i know you're not
00:32:51.800vaccinated things like that you know and um just things that people assume and and you know a lot
00:32:57.560of employees don't mean to be uh they don't mean to be ignorant or they don't mean to be discriminatory
00:33:05.720or they don't mean to say things like that that you know might trigger people that were only
00:33:10.960without pay or whatever but it is you know very frustrating for for employees to not have stood
00:33:18.980with you and then to kind of come back in an environment and then continue to be singled out
00:33:25.800like it's it's not just frustrating I think a lot of employees are suffering because yeah mentally
00:33:32.620for sure i mean and think about you know working with somebody for five or ten years and you know
00:33:37.760being friends with them maybe you stood up for them at their wedding or maybe their your kids
00:33:43.060played together at one time you were actually pretty close and then this happened and it divided
00:33:47.340you uh you come back and he treats you like a stranger or worse you know uh somebody who has
00:33:54.520killed his dog because that's how it felt for a lot of people who refuse to get the experimental
00:34:01.400formula you know like you were some public enemy number one let's talk about the purolator situation
00:34:07.980because i know the purolator is owned by canada post and this is something you had mentioned just
00:34:11.780before we came on the air tonight uh purolator is now enforcing their vaccine mandate on their
00:34:18.880employees just now which is kind of a little little bit late wouldn't you say i am so shocked
00:34:26.300i'm not gonna lie i feel that this is so out of place there's something so fishy going on here i
00:34:33.100just can't put my finger on it however my heart goes out to all of those employees and we are
00:34:39.240always in contact with the pure leader folks they have a group that they have support and
00:34:44.300they're doing a lawsuit as well however i do feel this came out of nowhere um i am so puzzled
00:34:53.180why they're doing this i i i encourage every single canadian it doesn't matter
00:34:59.900if you supported mandates i would ask you why why in today in we're going into december now
00:35:08.840of 2022 even if you supported mandates a year ago whatever i would i would ask you today why
00:35:17.040you think pure leader employees should be terminated from their jobs when they haven't
00:35:22.460even been welcomed back to their jobs because of this. And I would seriously ask you why you think
00:35:30.600a Purolator employee should lose their job according to this mandate today. And I would
00:35:36.340seriously question you about that if that was me. But to be honest, I'm like I said, I'm shocked.
00:35:42.340I know that those employees, you know, at the very least should have been called back to work
00:35:47.400just like we were even though we were called back in july instead of you know june um when the
00:35:53.760announcement came out you know i i still feel grateful for all of the employees who had a chance
00:35:59.580to return to work if that's what they wanted to do again this is all about freedom of choice
00:36:04.840and um i just again i don't understand why they're doing this and i would encourage every
00:36:13.000single person watching this go on twitter go find the the the feed for for the pure leader
00:36:19.880um letter that was posted alexa from rebel news uh posted it uh very easy to find on twitter
00:36:27.280and just retweet and just share your outrage and i would also invite all everybody to um if you
00:36:34.080know that there are certain retailers that do business with pure later i would invite you to
00:36:39.580certainly um select a different uh option to select your gifts for this year or to go through
00:36:45.900different uh streams of of purchasing just let me ask you uh for the people who came back
00:36:52.520with canada post back in uh july was there any sign at all of capitulation or
00:37:02.020apology from management anything at all no and i gotta be honest i so i work in the ottawa area
00:37:11.440it's not a secret um you know i i had some personal relationships some of these folks who
00:37:19.580had their not their names tied uh to these um measures and restrictions that were put on other
00:37:26.140employees and still to this day i often question myself like why like i've just never seen like
00:37:32.000this type of behavior come from somebody it makes me question their character it makes me question
00:37:38.900how they could have ever let this happen to their peers and their colleagues it makes me question
00:37:47.480what type of people that they are and I don't know I'm still very like I'm still very shocked
00:37:54.860And I just I just I don't understand why this this was something that they felt needed to happen or that they went behind, because even in November of 2021, we knew that it didn't reduce transmission.
00:38:09.680We knew that it didn't do any of that stuff.
00:38:13.180And then what's even more infuriating is that in December of 2021, I don't know if you, if your viewers remember, if you remember, but it was like the crazy, like everybody had the thing, right? And everybody had it.
00:38:28.100And, and our cases went up over 1000% in facilities. And whereas facilities were shut down in the past for having that many cases. Now it was okay, because everybody had, you know, the job and, and, and, but it still ran rampant through.
00:38:50.280and and it just there was still no sign of letting up and so july 2022 coming around
00:38:59.280still no sign of letting up no apologies no no acknowledgement that this may have been the wrong
00:39:07.100thing to do no acknowledgement nothing still completely uh going forward with this belief
00:39:15.000that this is the right thing to do and now another thing that and sorry i'm ranting a little bit but
00:39:20.640another thing that um i noticed um with many uh agencies of the government and entities is that
00:39:28.160they have these like weird like self-appointed task forces that are like oh well we're basing
00:39:39.700ourselves off of like, I'll give you an example, like the Canada Revenue Agency, they run off this
00:39:44.680program called the Public Service Occupational Program, or sorry, the Public Service Occupational
00:39:51.140Health Program. And that's what they leverage to be able to continue masking their employees still
00:39:57.280to this day inside CRA locations. Canada Post has this tactical COVID something team. And if it
00:40:07.540goes above a certain threshold then you know the following business day becomes a red zone and then
00:40:13.540everybody has to mask up again and and they have like all these like these weird and and it's like
00:40:21.360where is the legislature for any of these programs that are in place where is the laws that that that
00:40:29.340any of these programs are are based off of and and and this tactical covid force who elected
00:40:36.920these people who said that this is this is their expertise and what expertise do they have to be
00:40:43.880enforcing this it's like it's like these weird out of nowhere like painted laws um i i can answer
00:40:54.240your question did you see any of justin trudeau's testimony at the commission on friday
00:40:59.140that's all you that's all you need that's right there they're so obtuse oblivious and out of
00:41:07.220touch tone deaf they have no concept of what's going on and all they can do you know as a matter
00:41:13.080of fact somebody was joking on twitter the other day well team canada lost at the world cup the0.52
00:41:18.540other day it's because of the unvaccinated yeah like how does that even happen so posties for
00:41:27.180freedom.ca that's the website yeah yeah exactly and actually if i if i can just take a moment so
00:41:32.880on our home um on our home website on our home page we have a couple videos we have a video
00:41:38.840that we put out last year just trying to unite all employees to come together for non-compliance
00:41:43.660and then we also have a video of a podcast that we did with our um whistleblower ryan and our
00:41:50.620lawyer um right there on the home page and if you scroll all the way down there's this um
00:41:55.620disgruntled um and it's a booklet of about 80 pages but it's very easy read it's not 80 pages
00:42:02.020long um it's very big writing you know so it's it's more of a powerpoint presentation
00:42:07.460and it really explains how all of this happened and how um a lot of government employees got
00:42:15.300um coerced and tricked into thinking that they had to comply with something like this
00:42:20.740and that they were coerced and that they were forced and how all of this
00:42:24.640happened and what should have happened and you know in the health and safety
00:42:29.380world how how could we have leveraged work refusals and other health and
00:42:36.940safety aspects and laws how could we have leveraged those so again it's a
00:42:42.880really easy read and I would invite all viewers to go take a look and take a
00:42:46.920a look at that it's so important for everybody to know about this and to understand how Westray
00:42:52.760and how health and safety is the key for any Canadian federal employee who wants to ensure
00:43:00.740that they are able to stand up for their rights and their freedoms but also to ensure that their
00:43:07.280employer is held responsible for any actions they may have taken last year or even continue to take
00:43:14.560Like some of us continue to be harassed. Some of us continue to go through these things. So we have to ensure that these employers are held accountable and are held responsible and understand the law. And Disgruntled is a little PDF, like I said, super easy to read, and it explains everything. For anybody who's like lost and doesn't know where to begin, I would invite them to go to posseesforfreedom.ca and go to Disgruntled.
00:43:41.280Would this, Josie, be applicable to provincial government employees also?
00:43:46.180It's applicable to any government entity because it is there and in any employer, right?
00:43:53.040Even if you're in the private sector, it's not the same expectations if you're in the private sector.
00:43:57.520But any federal employee, the expectation is that your employer is in charge of your health and safety.
00:44:03.500And if your employer is telling you to do something that is unsafe, you have the right to refuse work.
00:44:09.760and that's the right to refuse dangerous work and there are many many things that they have to do
00:44:15.480then with the labor board in order to be able to do an investigation to ensure that you get a fair
00:44:22.260response and again you may not get the response that you're looking for but you're sounding the
00:44:27.080alarm and you can actually do that on behalf of all of the employees around you as well
00:44:31.440so it's not just on behalf of yourself like we did a work refusal on behalf of all employees
00:44:37.380in November of 2021 because it was dangerous for all employees to be doing this it doesn't matter
00:44:44.520if they willingly do if they quote-unquote willingly did it or not you are forcing them
00:44:49.840to call a 1-800 number you're forcing them to do something that they don't have to do so this is
00:44:56.520the reason why it's so important for everybody to understand how Westray ties into this and how
00:45:01.960health and safety is the key to taking a stand against everything that's happened. Your employer
00:45:07.720is responsible for your health and safety. They cannot tell you to do something that can fatally
00:45:13.320injure you. You know, it's interesting. I wonder if there's any employees who took the experimental
00:45:18.380formula and suffered some bad side effects or even death. Absolutely. And that's why our case
00:45:24.980is moving forward. That's how we're able to talk about gross negligence, causing bodily harm,
00:46:00.500Okay, there she goes. That's Josie, who is the founder of postiesforfreedom.ca. Go check it out, guys. I mean, it might actually be able to help you out if you've been in a spot like she described in the last half hour or so.
00:46:13.860Speaking of provincial. We've got Daniel Smith here, who is the premier of Alberta, obviously, and hopefully she'll win the election in May in Alberta, still trailing the NDP for some amazing reason by a few points.
00:46:30.040But I'm hoping that goes away very soon because Rachel, not least, let's face it, she's such a liar.
00:46:34.620Look at Daniel Smith having an open forum with phone calls from her constituents answering a very important question here.
00:46:44.360What could you do on a case by case basis if somebody said, yeah, I'm discriminated against my employer because I'm not vaccinated?
00:46:53.540Well, I'm calling people who, when I hear these instances, there was an instance where, for instance, the Arctic Winter Games wanted $1.2 million from us to support their effort.
00:47:08.580And they were discriminating against the athletes, telling them they had to be vaccinated.
00:47:12.200So we asked them if they would reconsider their vaccination policy in the light of new evidence.
00:47:16.660And they did. And I was pleased to see that.
00:47:18.900There is a film set that I have heard is discriminating against his hairdressers.
00:47:23.540And so I've asked my minister to give them a phone call.
00:47:26.280Those are the kind of things that we'll do.
00:47:27.680We just want to remind people that in this province, we do not discriminate against people
01:06:21.840rolling into the protest zones in China.
01:06:25.040They kicked me off. Now, I'm surprised they came back on, to be honest with you.
01:06:30.780Look at what Elon Musk says, according to the Gateway Pundit.
01:06:34.320Actually, this is according to his own Twitter account.
01:06:36.820Let the revolution begin. Elon Musk to publicly release free speech suppression files on Twitter.
01:06:44.340This is what Anthony Fauci was forced to testify, sorry, be deposed about last week for a court case involving the attorney general of Kansas,
01:06:53.300the attorney general of louisiana i believe they're trying to prove collusion between big tech
01:06:58.420and the government when it comes to suppressing uh certain people and information regarding the
01:07:04.800virus and fauci as usual wouldn't answer at all during the deposition last week but it's going
01:07:11.320to come out and musk is going to give it to us on a silver platter here guys twitter was a great
01:07:18.520tool for sharing news quickly but it was damaged greatly by the previous management running the
01:07:22.940platform who were far left radicals. These individuals like former CEO Jack Dorsey
01:07:27.440participated in far left activities like the violent protests in Ferguson, Missouri.
01:07:32.940Twitter's management began censoring conservatives before the 2016 election and went full blast
01:07:37.860anti-conservative after Trump won the election. Although Trump became arguably the greatest
01:07:43.340Twitter user in history, the company deplatformed him and numerous other conservatives. By early
01:07:49.4202021 the president and most conservative platforms were eliminated from twitter for good
01:07:54.080until musk recently took over and you hear the whining and screaming from the left-wing
01:07:58.640corporate media down there and the other platforms and even the white house and all musk is doing is
01:08:06.300protecting free speech it's madness what's going on and he's standing by his guns and expression
01:08:12.600by the way the gateway pundit and joe hoft from the gateway pundit were suspended from
01:08:19.240twitter in 2020 and 2021 for posting accurate information on hunter biden's laptop and the
01:08:25.540tcf center late night ballot drops in detroit michigan both true we have seen footage lots
01:08:33.620of footage the rationale for removing individuals from their platform was always murky and vague
01:08:39.340ultimately twitter management wanted to punish conservatives for standing up for america
01:08:43.300and making the country great and so their voice on twitter was taken away elon musk and by the way
01:08:49.920also this week he's putting accounts back up left right and center yours if you got suspended on
01:08:55.440twitter you might now be back up there so musk confirmed last week that twitter had an extreme
01:09:00.820bias against conservatives musk tweeted in response to kyle becker about twitter's bias
01:09:05.980as is obvious to all but the media there is not one permanent ban or even the most far left
01:09:13.160on even the most far-left account spouting utter lies, Musk said.
01:09:18.000Not even associated press with their completely fictional report
01:09:21.280on Russian missiles hitting Poland that carried severe consequences
01:12:56.120and i wrote a note on my facebook page talking about it because i was in a deep depression and
01:13:07.260i thought writing about it would help me so i wrote a very long letter almost to people
01:13:13.260and then i just put my phone down that night and a couple of hours later i went to bed
01:13:20.160and I you know when you're in deep depression you sleep it's your favorite thing to do in most
01:13:26.500cases I slept for I don't know 11 12 hours I woke up the next day and at that point all I was doing
01:13:32.680day in day out was getting up sitting on the balcony going back to bed seriously so I got up
01:13:41.700the next day and I picked up my phone and I saw there was I don't know hundreds of notifications
01:13:49.640And it was one of those situations where you go. Oh, yeah. Oh, no. And I was dreading reading them. And I finally did. And it was nothing but support. Nothing but support. And that spurred me on to the next two years of doing a podcast about mental health and people telling their stories.
01:14:17.980and some of those episodes are still available on my YouTube channel
