00:04:35.940 bank joanie from sandy lands manitoba thank you all for being here on the show tonight let's start
00:04:43.900 with this this is a pretty big story the legislature in manitoba was um well you can't say
00:04:50.860 raided, but there was a line of a significant line of police officers waiting for the First
00:04:58.560 Nations people as they were trying to build a third teepee on the legislative ground. So here's
00:05:03.420 the story from left-wing corporate CTV. Winnipeg police stopped an attempt by protesters today to
00:05:09.200 enlarge an encampment that's been on the front lawn of the ledge for months, while the provincial
00:05:13.680 government confirmed that some people attached to the camp have been recently arrested. The
00:05:19.940 encampment was set up in spring has been adorned with signs and flags highlighting a variety of
00:05:24.960 issues from the unmarked graves at residential schools. By the way, I don't go along with that
00:05:31.580 narrative until I actually see physical evidence that there are bodies in those supposed graves.
00:05:39.520 And so far, there has not been an investigation at all, just the sonar equipment they've used
00:05:45.020 to say they've discovered bodies but without physical evidence you can't say that what's
00:05:52.200 down there is actually bodies you can't so i have a and i'm not saying that there isn't
00:05:59.780 all i'm saying is i would like to see some physical proof of that they were also protesting
00:06:05.580 covid restrictions and the conflict in the middle east for some reason originally there was one tp
00:06:10.640 A second was added in the summer. The protests had planned to build a third today and put out a call on social media for supporters to help them build a new lodge.
00:06:20.100 When they arrived at the front entrance to the ledge, they were met by a line of more than two dozen police officers.
00:06:25.940 Police vehicles, including two wagons, each capable of carrying several people, were parked nearby.
00:06:31.920 So a couple of quotes from the protesters.
00:06:34.580 All you cops should go home and study the law. Go home to your families. Go home to your children, said another.
00:06:39.740 Two people were seen being led away from the area near the encampment by police.
00:06:43.560 The Winnipeg Police Service would not comment on whether any arrests were made,
00:06:47.580 but Justice Minister Kelvin Gertsen said there have been arrests recently.
00:06:51.540 They went on to say that some people were observed in possession of weapons,
00:06:55.920 body armor, and military-style clothing.
00:06:59.880 Public safety concerns prompted some arrests over the past two weeks.
00:07:03.800 Now, look, I may not agree with everything that the First Nations folks who've been on the ledge for six months or longer were protesting.
00:07:13.940 But I do believe in their right to do so, especially on public grounds.
00:07:19.240 If they weren't threatening people, apparently there was several instances.
00:07:24.020 Again, I've been down there a few times.
00:07:25.900 I've spoken to some of those people and I have never seen any sign of aggression whatsoever.
00:07:29.840 I've listened to, you know, drums being pounded. I've watched dances that have been actually very impressive. People enjoying themselves. Also, people sticking to their guns, so to speak, not literally.
00:07:46.380 i've never seen any sign of aggression i've never seen any sign of any sort of weapons
00:07:52.260 military equipment body armor military style clothing never never anything like that so
00:07:59.480 until i do i'm not going to believe a word that comes from the government i think this was just
00:08:07.520 a nuisance more than anything else they also said some of the protesters were threatening
00:08:12.640 uttering threats to staff and tourists over the past few months and once again i would like to
00:08:18.820 see proof of that but what they're trying to do is disband that protest that's been going on
00:08:25.180 because the manitoba government did pass a law back in the springtime that's the thing about
00:08:30.140 governments right if they don't like something they can just pass a law and say well now it's
00:08:33.340 against the law so you guys are sol sorry about that but i believe in their right to protest and
00:08:41.880 be there to do that and they should absolutely be allowed to stay and they should actually be
00:08:48.240 allowed to have a dialogue with the government of manitoba you see this is the thing right
00:08:52.540 politicians become stubborn because they feel as though at least in my experience because i've
00:08:58.140 spoken to many of them and they're not all like this but many of them are they feel as though
00:09:02.200 they're above the people they're serving which is a bad mistake that happens from the enclave
00:09:08.620 that politicians have with each other right they spend time with each other they go to barbecues
00:09:15.100 together they have a lot of social time together and they feel as though their jobs are about the
00:09:21.400 party that they're members of as opposed to the people they're serving and there's politics within
00:09:26.200 politics and that's just not the case and they need to be reminded of that fairly frequently
00:09:31.700 or else this is what happens they start passing laws against their own people what they're doing
00:09:37.880 what the First Nations are doing on the grounds of the legislature, in my opinion, as long as
00:09:43.260 they remain peaceful, is well within the rights afforded to people within the Charter of Rights
00:09:48.560 and Freedoms in our country. And what the Manitoba government did today, I believe, is unlawful.
00:09:54.960 And what the police did today, I believe, was unlawful. And in a situation where you've got
00:10:02.280 law enforcement breaking the law and this is arguable that's when you've got a country
00:10:08.940 that's falling apart and that's a sad thing how far is it going to get is my question
00:10:18.940 how far is it going to get before we can all finally start come coming back together it's uh
00:10:27.140 we've seen signs of signs of it over the years but it seems to be getting worse and worse and
00:10:34.960 worse and worse all right let's get to our guest tonight Tyson Hockley from his home studio
00:10:38.860 on Vancouver Island Tyson are you in Victoria or outside of it where are you exactly yeah I'm in
00:10:44.640 Victoria well welcome to the show now you've been doing this live streaming thing on YouTube for
00:10:50.480 quite some time I think you've got pretty close to 10,000 followers which is quite an accomplishment
00:10:54.760 congratulations thank you and yeah I've been doing YouTube for about three years now started back
00:11:01.340 during the pandemic 2020 I think I'm around 9,400 something and I mean it was because of the
00:11:10.840 pandemic which gave me the opportunity to really start YouTube it was always something that I kind
00:11:15.400 of wanted to do always something that I thought about starting like why not give this a try
00:11:19.580 and it was really it took for the pandemic to take a lot of things away from me that I enjoyed doing
00:11:25.540 it took that uh to give me the opportunity to really start YouTube and um well here I am now
00:11:32.380 so what have you mostly been covering has it been COVID stuff or has it been a little bit of
00:11:36.800 everything uh so I originally started off my YouTube channel actually just doing silly stuff
00:11:41.320 um I was only 12 back then I did one video I did a 24-hour challenge on my roof uh so just really
00:11:47.920 silly stuff, right? I did a video where I called the barred owl with a speaker. That was one of my
00:11:54.760 more viewed videos. But when the Freedom Convoy started up, I saw stuff on the news that there's
00:12:01.600 going to be a protest in Victoria. And I'm like, okay, this is interesting. This should be something
00:12:06.840 that maybe I could go on live stream and cover. So I went down to the legislature in Victoria,
00:12:12.140 I wasn't really expecting to see much.
00:12:14.180 I was thinking maybe there'd be 30 people, maybe 50.
00:12:18.600 I get to the legislature in Victoria and there is 10,000 people there.
00:12:23.860 And I start up my live stream.
00:12:25.620 And within like the first 30 minutes, I got over a hundred people watching.
00:12:28.560 So I kind of knew right then and there, like, this is what people want to see.
00:12:32.460 This is what people are interested in.
00:12:34.280 This is what I'm going to talk about from here on out.
00:12:36.380 And ever since then, my YouTube channel has been mainly covering freedom rallies in Victoria.
00:12:41.180 I've covered, I would like to say I've covered every single major Freedom Rally that has happened in Victoria.
00:12:50.160 Of course, there's not always a rally, so sometimes I talk about other stuff.
00:12:55.300 I like to talk about what's happening in the world.
00:12:58.860 What's been your inspiration for doing this?
00:13:00.980 I mean, you're 14 years old.
00:13:02.200 You should be out chasing girls and playing hockey and football.
00:13:06.020 Yeah, so, I mean, like I said, I've always been interested in being a YouTuber.
00:13:09.580 uh i like making people happy i like inspiring others and um well youtube just a really easy
00:13:15.720 way to do that um and i also have a passion for telling people the truth uh to the best of my
00:13:21.600 abilities and that's also something that youtube allows me to do so so what's it been like these
00:13:29.380 past two and a half years for people your age i mean you know for us you know for people over 50
00:13:35.560 35 i mean you know our jobs and families and and but what's it like for you at your age and what
00:13:44.420 do your friends think about what is going on are they sick of it uh are they for it is there
00:13:50.140 certain groups of people who have formed based upon all of this it's been a wild two years to
00:13:57.340 be honest i think at the very beginning everybody was for it uh at the very beginning everybody was
00:14:02.860 kind of nervous everybody was kind of scared you know all the headlines of this um virus you know
00:14:09.180 even myself included I was a bit nervous at the start but I think now it's at the point where
00:14:13.700 everybody's kind of just ready to move on I mean you look around in the schools nobody's wearing
00:14:18.260 masks anymore I mean they're optional now but like hardly anybody's wearing masks anymore
00:14:22.740 and it seems like now most people my age are over it but uh there was a time where a lot of people
00:14:29.220 were very frightened a lot of people were in masks because it was mandatory but a lot of people were
00:14:36.160 very like frightened by it taking all the rules seriously um yeah i know for sure a lot of people
00:14:42.620 my age have moved on um for sure how well informed is the average 13 or 14 year old when it comes to
00:14:51.840 what's going on i mean do they understand that the virus doesn't really affect them if they catch it
00:14:56.600 they're not going to get sick. I mean, the chances of them actually getting sick, uh, and, and dying
00:15:01.820 from the virus is like 99 or sorry, 0.001%. Yeah. Yeah. No, I don't think it's really something
00:15:10.020 that like a lot of my peers think about, which I think is an issue. I think it should be something
00:15:14.640 I, I wish that kids my age would be more involved and be just more aware of what's happening around
00:15:21.700 them but that's a problem i don't think kids my age like you said just off chasing girls
00:15:26.700 playing video games like a lot of kids my age aren't really concerned with stuff that's happening
00:15:31.520 in the world which i personally think is an issue um i wish more kids would be more aware
00:15:37.300 of what's happening in the world and like care more you know yeah yeah uh what's been your most
00:15:43.700 exciting uh coverage in the last couple of years i thought i could have sworn i saw you covering
00:15:49.180 Justin Trudeau's arrival in Victoria yes so that was something that was pretty awesome um I got
00:15:54.660 permission from my mom to take the day off school actually because we heard um Trudeau was going to
00:15:58.880 be in Victoria I saw a couple posts on Facebook that there was going to be a rally to meet him
00:16:03.520 in Victoria so I thought this is something that I can't miss uh so I took the bus down there City
00:16:09.680 Hall Victoria BC uh there was a decent crowd there waiting to meet Justin Trudeau and I actually saw
00:16:16.240 get out of the car and walk into the city hall building to meet with the mayor of victoria so
00:16:20.460 that was probably my most exciting live stream i've done so far i got a good view of trudeau
00:16:26.980 walking in and everything i did a little sarcastic wave to the crowd and everything so
00:16:32.340 was was there a crowd there to see him and what was there yeah yeah so there's a decent sized
00:16:39.020 crowd there to uh i guess you could say greet trudeau um of course a lot of them were not very
00:16:44.480 happy to see him um it was a protest but yeah i mean the reason i'm asking you this is because
00:16:51.740 i've seen the video and i heard the booing yeah i thought it was pretty funny yeah
00:16:57.380 so what do your friends think of you doing this uh my friends think it's pretty cool i actually
00:17:06.320 have a lot of supportive friends one of my friends actually gave me a donation on my stream
00:17:10.640 when I covered Trudeau.
00:17:12.460 So, yeah, I would say it's been a lot of support
00:17:15.260 within my friend group
00:17:16.520 and a lot of support from my parents as well.
00:17:18.900 I was about to ask,
00:17:19.780 what do your parents think about all of this?
00:17:21.800 My parents are super supportive.
00:17:23.560 They support everything I do when it comes to YouTube.
00:17:26.440 They're always trying to give me pointers as well.
00:17:30.140 They're just super supportive parents.
00:17:32.160 I really couldn't ask for anything better.
00:17:35.220 So what is their feeling about the pandemic?
00:17:38.820 Like, have you learned a lot?
00:17:40.100 Who have you learned the most from when it comes to just learning what's going on in the world?
00:17:44.800 Has it been school?
00:17:45.740 Has it been your parents?
00:17:46.880 Has it been what you see online?
00:17:48.700 Well, it definitely hasn't been school.
00:17:50.340 I'll tell you that much.
00:17:52.000 No, it's just kind of been me doing my own research, looking at stuff.
00:17:57.960 Yeah, no, it's definitely just been me kind of going off on my own, looking at stuff.
00:18:03.840 Yeah, I'm not really too sure.
00:18:05.820 I don't really talk to my parents that much, to be honest, about politics.
00:18:09.160 they're not really they're not super political people really at all um and i wouldn't even
00:18:14.360 really consider myself political i just care about people knowing the truth i guess you could say
00:18:20.980 right but i mean the truth these days appears to be something that is different for everybody
00:18:26.960 sadly uh facts don't seem to matter so much let me ask you a question if you had a teacher who
00:18:32.340 was wearing prosthetic boobs in school and a big blonde wig with a tight pink sweater on
00:18:37.560 what would the reaction be well i think i i think i saw that um article i got a good chuckle out of
00:18:46.580 that um i honestly don't even know how i feel about that to be honest to be to be i don't know
00:18:53.900 i mean this is like this person is at a high school in halton hills ontario and teaches woodshop
00:19:01.740 would it be would it be a distraction for you and your friends to have to deal with something like
00:19:07.540 that would you be able to get through a class uh yeah i think it would be a little bit distracting
00:19:11.880 to be honest would you say anything to this teacher like what are you doing or um i don't
00:19:18.700 know i think i'd try my best like see past it to be honest um but no it definitely be strange to
00:19:26.940 see in a classroom have you talked to any of your teachers at school about what you're doing and
00:19:33.360 what they're how bad is uh i shouldn't say it like that how much indoctrination do you feel
00:19:42.380 is happening in schools right now and when i say that i'm talking about uh crt and dei uh you know
00:19:48.460 critical uh race theories being taught and not just taught but pushed on students are you noticing
00:19:54.200 that uh i haven't really noticed that um but i do notice that teachers they don't really promote
00:20:04.480 thinking for yourself in my opinion and i could go on a whole spill about um school and how i feel
00:20:11.520 about that um but yeah no you could go ahead if you want to man like i mean as long as it's not
00:20:17.980 going to get you in trouble at school yeah i think i don't think it'll get me in trouble but
00:20:22.460 But, yeah, no, it's just – it's really just –
00:20:34.620 Does it feel one-sided to you?
00:20:37.060 Does it feel like you're being taught something that really isn't cool?
00:20:41.240 Did you ever get that impression?
00:20:42.880 Sometimes I do.
00:20:43.860 Sometimes it feels like teachers are kind of trying to push their own agenda.
00:20:49.080 I haven't really experienced that personally.
00:20:52.460 Um, but no, I just feel like they don't really promote thinking for yourself, you know, like
00:20:58.300 they, I don't really know how to put it to be honest, but okay, well then we'll just
00:21:03.620 leave it for that.
00:21:04.440 Uh, here's a question from a viewer, uh, Lori Taylor Walters, this is ask your friends.
00:21:09.500 What is the charter of rights?
00:21:10.580 What is the bill of rights?
00:21:11.560 Nuremberg code.
00:21:12.120 Do you have, uh, any idea what these things are?
00:21:16.600 Is this one of the things that you get taught in school at all?
00:21:19.400 or is it just something that you guys aren't really aware of?
00:21:23.460 Yeah, so we've talked about the Charter of Rights a little bit.
00:21:27.040 In my socials class, I actually have the Charter of Rights and Freedoms on a poster,
00:21:31.440 but they don't really go into depth about what it means,
00:21:35.020 and they don't really talk about the details of it, really.
00:21:38.840 I'm seeing some people in here saying that there's an echo.
00:21:41.680 I could kind of hear an echo coming through.
00:21:43.820 Can you pop out and pop back in?
00:21:46.140 I could try, sure.
00:21:47.840 Do I just click Beef Studio?
00:21:49.400 Yeah, leave studio, and then the link will still be there for you.
00:21:53.620 It's too bad about this echo thing, you guys.
00:21:55.740 I mean, from this end, I have been working to get rid of this thing for, I'm going to say, three months now.
00:22:01.220 And I thought I had it finished with, and now it seems to be popping back in just randomly for some reason.
00:22:07.140 And the most frustrating thing is I can't hear it.
00:22:11.300 It's only on the other side.
00:22:13.500 Okay, how's the echo? Is it gone now?
00:22:15.540 It's better now. Yeah, we're good.
00:22:16.860 Okay. So what was, like, when the Freedom Convoy was going on, this is when you first really amped up your YouTube channel and now your Facebook presence as well. Was that talked about a lot in school? That seems to me would have been a big topic, not just among students, but also teachers. Like, would they bring that into class?
00:22:36.480 no actually it's weird they haven't mentioned the freedom convoy at all they don't really talk about
00:22:41.420 i don't know i feel like in school they don't really talk about the issues that are most
00:22:45.420 important you know i feel like a lot of the stuff that they talk about in school
00:22:48.400 is stuff that's kind of irrelevant to the bigger picture and not all of it of course
00:22:54.420 um but no they haven't mentioned anything about the freedom convoy which is surprising because
00:22:59.080 i thought that i'd have a teacher like go off on their own rant about it but no nothing so far
00:23:04.740 Have you had a chance to interview anybody in the freedom movement or any big political figures across the country in the last little while?
00:23:13.480 Yeah. So I actually got the chance to talk with Mr. Brian Peckford. He helped write the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
00:23:20.840 He was speaking at a rally in Victoria, and I actually got the chance to pull him aside and give him a quick little interview.
00:23:26.580 So that was a pleasure to be able to talk to him. And I mean, big thanks to him for taking the time to talk with me.
00:23:33.120 Anybody else?
00:23:34.740 uh roman babber too from the um i believe he was running for the conservative party of canada
00:23:40.580 i got a quick little chat with him so that was pretty awesome again thanks to him again for
00:23:46.180 taking the time to talk with me as well where do you want to take your channel where do you want
00:23:51.380 to like what what is next for you tyson what do you want to do with all of these newfound followers
00:23:56.820 that you've garnered on youtube and facebook well i mean it'd be awesome to kind of do a show like
00:24:02.400 you do, just interviewing people. Uh, I feel like I have to get more comfortable with talking on
00:24:07.520 camera. Uh, it's funny. You think I'd be comfortable with that. Uh, I've been doing
00:24:11.580 YouTube for three years, but, um, no, I feel like once I get more comfortable with talking to people,
00:24:17.620 I like to have more interviews, uh, do a show like you do have people on here, their experiences.
00:24:23.500 I want to have people from both sides. Come on. Uh, what I like to do on my channels. I like to
00:24:29.160 try to keep it neutral because I feel like that's a problem with the news nowadays is they either go
00:24:34.000 to one side or they go to the other, which I think is terrible. I think that's a big problem
00:24:38.220 in our country is the media and how they either pick one side or the other. So I want to interview
00:24:44.360 people from both sides of the political spectrum and get both opinions. So that's definitely
00:24:49.840 something I see myself doing in the future. Well, I'll tell you what, if you are doing a
00:24:57.480 narrative uh of your own and this is a little piece of advice it's going to be tough to get
00:25:01.460 people and i was just talking about how divided our country is before i popped you on the show
00:25:05.380 uh maybe 10 minutes ago it's going to be tough to get people from the other side to come on
00:25:09.680 even if you promise them a fair crack at it because they just don't want to come on and be
00:25:14.840 exposed sad yeah that is true so um i i think it's great that you're doing what you're doing
00:25:20.980 at 14 i certainly hope uh that you're successful with this keep at it uh one thing that i will
00:25:26.660 always say is keep at it keep doing it keep following your dreams man and let's do this
00:25:31.300 again and maybe one day i'll come on your show and you can interview me if you want yeah for sure
00:25:35.260 i'd love to excellent all right tyson and by the way where can we find you on social media where
00:25:39.640 where can we find your channels and and how often are you on so my main page is youtube um that's
00:25:45.460 where i mainly post my clips i also got a facebook page uh and a twitter it's all by the name tyson
00:25:51.840 hawkley um i'm also on rumble which is a new one i've heard a lot of people talking about that
00:25:56.960 apparently it's more of like a free speech friendly platform so i'm on there too um so
00:26:02.940 yeah youtube facebook twitter and rumble have you said anything at all that's given you any problems
00:26:07.980 uh with with social media in terms of censorship no so far so good i try to try to steer away from
00:26:15.400 like the controversy uh as much as much as possible uh because you know don't want to get
00:26:21.400 booted off any platforms because that's very easy to do um but for some reason it feels like youtube
00:26:27.020 absolutely um every time i do a live stream on youtube i automatically get demonetized so
00:26:33.580 i don't know i don't think i have very good friends over at youtube um probably just because
00:26:38.720 of what i cover but so far so good no bands yet you're not alone my friend uh let's stay in touch
00:26:45.300 tyson and i wish you all of the best and thank you for coming on the show tonight i really
00:26:49.220 appreciate it thank you for having me thank you take care yeah you too there's tyson hockley uh
00:26:53.900 from his home studio in victoria i like the fact that younger people are getting involved i'm not
00:27:01.180 sure how many of them are uh i was a little bit disappointed and not that i didn't know this
00:27:06.220 already a little bit disappointed in the fact that kids just don't seem too engaged in what's going
00:27:13.660 on because it's affected them so much in the past couple of years and they do have a voice now
00:27:21.100 they're not able to vote yet and there was a motion in the house of commons last week brought
00:27:24.780 up by an ndp mp who wanted 16 year olds to be able to vote i don't think that's necessarily
00:27:29.820 the case uh they shouldn't be able to vote until they're 21 in my opinion until they actually
00:27:36.860 develop thinking skills on their own that is going to allow them to vote that's a precious
00:27:43.700 right we have you guys and i think a lot of people a lot of people think they can't make a difference
00:27:50.440 or a lot of people just vote willy-nilly based upon the color of the party or a person's face
00:27:56.280 or a hairdo or something they may have said five or six years ago and we need and i've tried to
00:28:03.320 bring this up in the past and i just can't figure out exactly how to do this but maybe there should
00:28:09.740 be some kind of a test that we all have to take before we're allowed to vote just basically name
00:28:16.940 the candidates in your writing just name them and then name the party that they are running for
00:28:24.180 and one thing that any of these candidates have said during the campaign
00:28:29.560 would that be too much to ask and if you can't name any of these things then i'm sorry but you
00:28:35.160 can't vote because if you give an uninformed person a ballot
00:28:43.540 you get what you get you get the justin trudeau's of the world right but man that's 1.00
00:28:53.260 good luck because then it's like you're discriminating against people that are stupid 1.00
00:28:57.580 But so heaven forbid I should ever discriminate against anybody. Right. 1.00
00:29:03.500 And I say that, of course, jokingly. This is an interesting story.
00:29:08.100 Daniel Nagese, you guys know this name, obviously.
00:29:11.400 He's the doctor who has been protesting in Alberta and British Columbia.
00:29:15.800 This story is written by the CBC. So I want you to I'm going to read it.
00:29:21.140 and i would like you to point out the discrepancies in this story that veer away
00:29:29.000 from the actual truth this my friends is an actual news story this is not an editorial piece
00:29:35.460 so there should be no political leaning in this either way all right so let's
00:29:44.220 let's start a doctor who spread false rumors about vaccines causing stillbirths at a vancouver
00:29:56.060 area hospital and made other misleading claims about covid while standing in front of effigies
00:30:00.900 portraying bc politicians being hanged will face a disciplinary hearing with his regulatory college
00:30:06.860 so this picture does not show dr nagasi with the effigies behind him but they were there i've seen
00:30:13.460 other photos and yes they were now that is not against the law or against could be against an
00:30:23.340 ethics code i'm not completely sure on that but it's certainly not against the law unless of
00:30:28.060 course somebody tries to trump up a threat charge right but that's that's a pretty tough ask
00:30:37.320 the college of physicians and surgeons of british columbia posted a notice thursday last week
00:30:44.580 announcing that a citation has been issued alleging misconduct by dr daniel negacy
00:30:50.200 negacy who has resigned his license to practice in bc is accused of violating professional
00:30:56.000 standards by making public addresses regarding the covet 19 pandemic and related issues
00:31:00.820 that included his making misleading incorrect or inflammatory statements about vaccinations
00:31:06.500 treatments, and measures for COVID-19. That's what the public notice says. And we can go
00:31:11.320 to at least two of those things. And that would include misleading or incorrect. Inflammatory,
00:31:22.160 yes, but not misleading and certainly not incorrect. That includes falsely stating in
00:31:31.660 public that the vaccines are dangerous all right this is this is somebody a journalist a supposed
00:31:37.340 journalist writing this that includes falsely stating in public the vaccines are dangerous
00:31:42.620 we know that they have injured people thus that makes them dangerous
00:31:48.960 so what this reporter says is wrong and biased and there's a big thing going on with the cbc
00:31:58.840 in their journalistic standards and practices right now,
00:32:02.080 which is kind of a joke.
00:32:05.280 Anyway, let's continue on.
00:32:08.180 Publicly suggesting that the anti-parasitic drug ivermectin
00:32:12.360 is safe and effective against the virus.
00:32:15.260 Yes, it's been proven that it is.
00:32:22.420 But CBC continues to go along with the narrative
00:32:25.200 and making at least some of these public statements
00:32:28.080 while appearing in front of effigies of political figures who were hanged from nooses.
00:32:32.580 Again, in bad taste, maybe against the code of ethics of the B.C. College of Physicians and Surgeons,
00:32:39.920 but certainly it is not a crime.
00:32:42.820 The latter incident was caught on camera last December when Nagasi spoke outside the B.C. Ledge
00:32:47.680 while dummies labeled as John Horgan, Health Minister Adrian Dix,
00:32:53.120 and Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth were raised behind him with ropes tied around their 0.81
00:32:58.120 necks. Yeah, again, in bad taste. I probably wouldn't have gone up on a stage with those
00:33:02.080 things there because I don't believe that or in that. During that speech, again, CBC supposed to
00:33:11.280 be reporting right down the middle. During that speech, he falsely claimed that COVID-19 vaccines
00:33:16.440 are the most dangerous injection in the history of vaccination. If you look at the VAERS system
00:33:21.500 reporting from the united states you will see that by far all of the injuries reported in the
00:33:27.960 last couple of years from this particular drug far outweigh all of the injuries reported for
00:33:33.760 every other single drug in the united states for the past 40 years so that's not a false statement
00:33:41.100 clearly the cbc doesn't do a lot of research do they
00:33:47.040 dr charles hoff of lytton bc also spoke at the event he said to face his own disciplinary
00:33:54.040 hearing with the college you know the and this all stems from the fact that the people in power
00:34:02.420 the ones who are making the decisions and i'm talking about the colleges of physicians and
00:34:06.880 surgeons i'm talking about the court system i'm talking about politicians refuse to look at the
00:34:12.580 other side of the evidence and they refuse to allow it allow it to be heard in court thus that
00:34:18.720 makes them right in their opinion and that they can go ahead and sanction doctors nurses whoever
00:34:24.920 doesn't agree with them that's what this is all boiled down to and they're using the power of 0.51
00:34:30.720 the state to pull that off with absolutely ridiculous and when you try to say anything 0.95
00:34:37.560 about it you're canceled or you yourself are slapped with a charge no that's ridiculous and 0.68
00:34:44.440 this has been going on far too long when you see something like that and the media still right
00:34:48.900 when you see something like this happen you go well at least it seems to be calming somewhat and
00:34:54.820 other doctors are now speaking out on social media and making very good points and you see the tide
00:35:00.760 turning but when something like this happens it just it feels like such a setback and you feel
00:35:05.420 like you've been kicked right in the schnuts but we continue we move on right we absolutely move
00:35:11.180 forward uh this is a great piece on twitter from dr kimberly green lebowitz who is a medical doctor
00:35:17.160 in uh new york state from kisco new york and she's also an epidemiologist so that's her uh
00:35:25.240 that's her shingle right there and here is her twitter this is fantastic dr green lebowitz says
00:35:32.320 I don't want to target anyone. I prefer generally to avoid being mean. However, I am disturbed by
00:35:39.440 the number of people, especially doctors, who advocate for ever masking. These are the people
00:35:45.320 who post selfies wearing N95s or pictures of themselves at parties or in restaurants in masks.
00:35:55.380 Invariably, with a comment about staying safe or caring or if only everyone would join me,
00:36:00.680 they often, but not always, promote censorship and the silencing of debate. They are true believers,
00:36:07.000 and this bothers me a lot. She goes on to say, number one, wearing a mask doesn't signal
00:36:12.720 greatness. It signals reliance on a tool that is questionably beneficial at best. Number two,
00:36:19.500 similarly, being maskless does not indicate lack of virtue. Number three, the ongoing failure of
00:36:25.960 pro-maskers to acknowledge the costs of masking is in itself unscientific. Number four, masks were
00:36:33.320 not designed for this and data suggests they don't work particularly well. Number five, these are
00:36:39.880 usually the same people convinced that those who disagree with them are engaged in misinformation.
00:36:43.960 It really annoys me when it's a journalist or a private citizen, but when it's a physician,
00:36:49.480 it suggests a lack of critical thinking skills, inability to analyze data or understand statistics. 1.00
00:36:56.980 Stupidity. I never demand people agree with me, but these posts indicate an inability to take 1.00
00:37:03.260 all information into consideration when making a decision. I don't know about you, but I want my
00:37:09.160 doctors to consider all variables. And as a physician, that's what I try to do for my patients.
00:37:14.500 How can these people practice good medicine?
00:37:16.680 Their decisions are skewed by confirmation bias.
00:37:20.360 So there is another doctor stepping up and speaking out.
00:37:27.380 We need more and more and more of these people to step forward.
00:37:32.340 One second, you guys.
00:37:36.960 It looks like we've got a big gathering in Coutts, Alberta tomorrow.
00:37:44.500 i will have details on that not tonight because i can't get it now i'm on the show but i will
00:37:57.120 have it for you tomorrow a big gathering i don't know exactly what it involves but it looks like
00:38:01.820 a lot of people uh from the coots area and possibly all around alberta will be gathering
00:38:06.960 in coots tomorrow here's a story from true north tnc.news from an internal poll remember guys i
00:38:14.480 talk a lot about these internal polls the the polls that we see or we're we're allowed to see
00:38:18.800 they're garbage they're designed to make us think one way or another and they come in handy for
00:38:24.400 politicians politicians who own the pollsters around election times right canadians dissatisfied 0.99
00:38:31.960 with trudeau's handling of the freedom convoy internal polling as parliament continues to
00:38:37.740 investigate justin trudeau's use of the emergencies act to quash freedom convoy protesters internal
00:38:44.360 focus group polling shows that many canadians remain disappointed with how the government
00:38:48.780 handled things according to black locks reporter the best news agency in the country as far as i'm
00:38:55.180 concerned a privy council survey titled continuous qualitative data collection of canadians i don't
00:39:02.300 like the sound of that views found that respondents were upset with how little the federal government
00:39:09.020 engaged with protesters. Participants were generally dissatisfied with the response
00:39:13.840 of the government of Canada. It was thought the perceived lack of engagement by the federal
00:39:18.560 government with the protesters only served to intensify the demonstrations. And that is
00:39:24.020 absolutely correct. All the protesters were asking for was a sit down with the people in charge.
00:39:30.220 Never happened. What happened was Trudeau petulantly went, well, you're coming here.
00:39:35.800 you're an unacceptable views fringe minority and then he went and hid he never came out and
00:39:43.540 addressed if he you know what even even i would say if trudeau came out and actually had a real
00:39:51.160 meaningful conversation with the people who were there protesting and then took action not on
00:39:57.740 everything that they were demanding but at least something i would have had a little bit of respect
00:40:01.900 for the guy. And that's tough to say, considering that I'm talking about Justin Trudeau.
00:40:10.120 But I think I would have. I would have gone, wow, huh. Well, that's something. But of course,
00:40:15.900 we know he's a coward with a giant flashing yellow streak down his back, and he would never do that, 0.99
00:40:20.700 nor would any of his ministers. The only people that came out to see the Freedom Convoy and then 0.99
00:40:26.720 later James Topp, were people from the PPC, Maxim Bernier, and of course, some MPs from the
00:40:32.820 Conservative Party of Canada. I think 26 or 28 out of 121. Pretty lame showing, but at least some of
00:40:40.080 them came out. The research was undertaken between March 3rd and March 30th, only days after the
00:40:49.040 Trudeau government suspended the use of the emergency powers, which included freezing assets
00:40:53.380 of protest supporters and arresting organizers several of those who felt the act should not
00:40:59.540 have been invoked were also primarily opposed to the protests and felt the act would not have been
00:41:04.820 necessary in the first place if more had been done at all levels of government to quell the protests
00:41:09.700 in their initial days the study claims among those who were more supportive of the protests it was
00:41:15.140 felt use of the act represented significant overreach by the federal government yes yes it was
00:41:23.380 general attitudes towards the convoy and its goals were split with roughly similar numbers
00:41:29.120 of people praising the movement as those speaking negatively of it across all groups a roughly
00:41:34.860 similar number of individuals spoke negatively about the protests as those who expressed support
00:41:39.780 with several others more uncertain so let's say 30 said no you can't have that in canada 30 said
00:41:46.480 yeah we love it and 40 said that they didn't know is that enough for a political leader to
00:41:55.080 maybe grab a hold of and go ha ha i'm gonna run on this i think it is
00:42:00.820 i think we see pierre poly of doing that right now don't you internal polling you guys so a lot
00:42:10.100 of people say well pierre poly of didn't stand up including maxime bernier pierre poly of didn't
00:42:14.580 stand up at all when this was happening because he couldn't this is what i was referring to when
00:42:21.520 i talk about the politics inside politics the politics of the actual party when the leader
00:42:25.860 of the party says you can't go out and you can't do this and this by the way is what
00:42:29.820 got aaron o'toole fired as leader of the cpc
00:42:33.080 it's because he said nope you can't people came out anyway
00:42:39.220 right and did polyev say anything i don't know if he was saying it privately publicly definitely not
00:42:47.840 until his hands were untied after o'toole was fired and that's when he came out and
00:42:54.360 some of the other mps now most of them were absolutely unsure how it was going to affect
00:42:59.920 them politically so rather than being brave about it they decided to wait and now we're seeing more
00:43:06.840 and more and more politicians come out i know it seems like a sellout guys but it doesn't matter
00:43:13.620 because if we can get them on our side now we're going to win there's a lot of people saying ah
00:43:21.540 controlled opposition don't i get it i understand that we're not going to be able to vote our way
00:43:27.640 out of this ultimately but we can slow things down we can throw a monkey wrench in their machine
00:43:33.200 we just got to get the right people in place
00:43:36.100 it can be done
00:43:38.600 it can be done
00:43:39.940 and if we frustrate them enough
00:43:42.000 again and again and again
00:43:43.940 they might just give up
00:43:45.200 and then it will be on us
00:43:48.360 to clean up the mess
00:43:49.500 look at this
00:43:53.320 here's some more good news
00:43:54.700 even if it's not really good news
00:43:56.660 hang on just a second
00:43:57.540 oh we've got the trial in coots tomorrow freedom fighter and farmer alex van hirk is having his
00:44:09.580 trial in coots tomorrow so that's why people are gathering there peacefully by the way
00:44:15.000 freedom fighter and farmer alex van hirk will have his trial in coots tomorrow
00:44:20.720 people are gathering hopefully hundreds peacefully peacefully keyword
00:44:26.420 i don't really say this blasts the trudeau government but it does speak out finally
00:44:34.680 even though you see that a lot of people are going well they went along with it yeah they did
00:44:39.580 but if they're coming out now that means the tide is turning right even these doctors who are all
00:44:46.000 starting to speak up they weren't speaking up six months ago a year ago they weren't but now they are
00:44:51.840 and some people praise these doctors yay you guys are finally speaking up but when somebody
00:44:56.780 else finally speaks up what happens well you didn't speak up you're in the right we have to
00:45:01.660 be consistent with our praise and people who are finally coming out you guys we can't vilify one
00:45:07.480 group of people and then praise another group of people for doing the exact same thing right as long
00:45:14.600 as we get them to speak out now and that's been one of the functions of this show for two years
00:45:19.800 going on two years now is trying to get more and more and more people on board with our movement
00:45:24.840 it's critically important that we get as many people as we possibly can
00:45:30.200 right because that sways the zeitgeist of the country that moves the overton window
00:45:37.180 back towards a sense of reality as opposed to what we're going through now air canada they say
00:45:44.680 in the headline here on tnc.news blasts trudeau government saying restrictions were not justified
00:45:49.740 by science well okay we know that i i wonder why it took them so long but fine we'll take it air
00:45:56.920 canada released a scathing statement following the government's decision to lift remaining
00:46:00.980 covet 19 travel restrictions claiming the measures were not justified by science air canada welcomes
00:46:08.260 the removal of these restrictions acknowledging that air travel is safe and that the measures
00:46:12.960 were not justified by science wrote air canada chief operating officer and executive vp craig
00:46:18.900 Landry. We believe it will facilitate, greatly facilitate travel, help to continue stabilizing
00:46:26.260 the country's air transport sector, and support Canada's economy. Landry urged the governments to
00:46:32.520 continue its forward momentum to improve security and customs at airports. All right, now this is
00:46:36.640 where I get a little bit hinky. Lessons learned during the pandemic should now be applied to
00:46:42.700 streamlining the air transport system in Canada to enact further reforms. This includes improving
00:46:47.660 processes whose weaknesses were exposed by COVID. Now, what does that mean exactly?
00:46:55.620 What does that mean to you when you hear something like that?
00:47:02.840 Landry emphasized that the relaxed measures are expected to advance Air Canada services back to
00:47:08.140 pre-pandemic levels. He noted significant improvements in on-time performance as compared
00:47:11.920 to earlier in the summer. Daily flight completion is now over 98 percent, as well as baggage
00:47:17.180 handling performance that is fully restabilized what does that say to you what does that mean to
00:47:22.020 you to me it means digital id is just around the corner improving security improving services
00:47:32.820 in on-time performance that's what i think he's saying i'm reading between the lines here
00:47:40.360 obviously and i'm only just making an observation and by making the observation forming an opinion
00:47:45.960 but that's what it sounds like to me remember guys that these ceos are on board with what's
00:47:53.000 going on in terms of the great reset they're all on board with the world economic forum
00:47:57.820 so when somebody comes out and speaks against it that's fine that's great but then they go ahead
00:48:05.320 and they add this little part of the end lessons learned during the pandemic should now be applied
00:48:09.180 to streamlining the air transport system in canada and to enact further reforms what does that mean
00:48:15.220 what does that mean exactly okay i got a i got a message today from my buddy sean
00:48:23.660 and the message was relayed to him from a friend of his that there is a bank in winnipeg it's an
00:48:31.260 rbc in transgona on plessie road that's now gone completely cashless and so i said can you find a
00:48:37.660 story on this or can you find an email is there some notice from the bank aside from somebody's
00:48:43.000 word that tells us this is the case and he couldn't find anything from this particular bank but he did
00:48:48.400 find one a story in the penticton herald about a bank out there in in bc cashless bank branch
00:48:54.680 a sign of things to come question mark
00:48:56.980 maybe fewer people are visiting banks in person these days to withdraw or deposit cash but arlene
00:49:05.560 arlo isn't one of them so this story talks about arlene and her struggles with trying to get cash
00:49:10.320 out of the bank because she deals in cash she says um and it seems like the story is more about
00:49:18.180 arlene than it is about the actual cashless bank branch out there in penticton but she did voice
00:49:24.420 her concerns in a letter to the interior savings board and then voted with her feet she goes i
00:49:30.240 went and got a bank draft and took my money to valley first interior savings spokesperson
00:49:35.640 Corrine Johnson said the new Penticton branch is the first in the credit union stable that
00:49:41.480 doesn't offer cash services. She says the first. Is that a sign of things to come for every other
00:49:48.760 bank? It's something new that we're trying and it's a response to changes we've been seeing over
00:49:53.240 the years and how members are doing their banking. We've seen for years demand for cash services and
00:49:57.740 branches continue to decrease. This probably comes as no surprise but most members are opting for
00:50:03.000 cashless payments. And for those who do use cash, most are using ATMs because they prefer the speed
00:50:08.620 and convenience of them. Johnson said the new setup has been well-received by the vast majority
00:50:13.680 of clients. Of course she does. And has freed up tellers who can also open accounts, provide
00:50:18.140 financial advice, set up. I'm going to take financial advice from a bank teller. That'll be
00:50:23.600 the day. Set up term deposits, credit cards, lines of credit, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
00:50:29.660 so guys i'm going to ask for you to um send me an email shadow davis at gmail.com
00:50:38.900 if your bank or credit union is now going cashless because this is step one guys this is step one
00:50:46.640 in what's yet to come and this is what we have been saying and they're going to say well it's
00:50:53.280 because people don't use cash anymore it's because we can't the system is telling us
00:50:56.880 that we pay our rent or our mortgage through the bank it's just an online transfer we don't have
00:51:02.140 to worry about actually having cash in hand you go to a football game or a hockey game or a concert
00:51:08.180 these days no cash we don't take cash everybody uses their tap so when actually do you use cash
00:51:16.680 i was at a 7-eleven two weeks ago i tried to pay for something with a 20 bill i had to wait 10
00:51:23.380 minutes to get change i'm sorry sir we haven't got any change what or when somebody gives you
00:51:28.760 that grimace in a convenience store when you pull out a 50 or 100 bill you should have the change on
00:51:34.760 hand without making somebody wait for 20 minutes so they're moving us to this and when there's no
00:51:43.140 cash left, what happens? They fully control you. They can't track cash, but they can track
00:51:57.300 any other financial transaction in the system easily enough. And if freezing the bank accounts
00:52:05.440 back in February doesn't tell you that they can do whatever they want, whenever they want
00:52:10.160 to do it. I don't know what else is left to tell you about this. No, I'm not going to do that.
00:52:26.080 All right. This is a great story from a gateway pundit. Trump is suing CNN for defamation. He
00:52:31.540 wants 475 million in damages. It's happened today. Trump suing CNN for defamation. The Republican
00:52:40.020 president seeks 475 million. CNN led the media mob in its baseless accusations that candidate
00:52:47.140 before he became president and then president, Donald Trump was a stooge for Putin and Russia.
00:52:55.040 The allegations were later found to be based on efforts by Hillary Clinton's campaign to smear
00:53:00.500 Donald Trump. And this is absolutely true. It was the Steele dossier, right? Which we know was a fake,
00:53:05.900 a phony the stasi fbi ran an attempted coup against trump knowing the allegations of his
00:53:14.280 ties to russia were absolutely fraudulent the story goes well wait a minute the story goes on
00:53:19.260 to say former president trump so he's seeking big money uh cnn has attempted to taint uh taint
00:53:26.260 trump with a series of even more scandalous false and defamatory labels of racist
00:53:30.700 russian lackey insurrectionist and ultimately achler i won't say the full thing because
00:53:37.420 social media kind of funny with their algorithms and banning procedures
00:53:41.340 even if you mention certain things out of context they'll take you down the former president's
00:53:49.160 lawyer said in the suit filed monday at federal court in fort lauderdale so 475 million dollars
00:53:53.960 i love that guys tomorrow night i'm gonna have on uh the same person i actually had on friday
00:54:00.580 night nadine ness of unified grassroots.com based in saskatoon nadine told me on the weekend and you
00:54:08.000 know it was interesting uh that nadine went through all of the comments from her appearance
00:54:13.760 on this show on saturday and she tried to respond to as many as she possibly could and we were
00:54:19.360 talking over text i think it was yesterday or the day before and she said you know i didn't get a
00:54:22.900 chance to say a lot of things and i said nadine we were on for an hour she goes yeah but there's
00:54:27.380 still more i said okay then let's do a part two on tuesday night so nadine ness is coming back on
00:54:34.160 the show tomorrow night she is a fantastic speaker and advocate for freedom and i look forward to
00:54:40.580 bringing her back on the show which brings me to this if you didn't see friday night show i suggest
00:54:45.400 you go and watch it if you haven't got time watch it in bits and pieces so you're up to date on who
00:54:50.260 she is and what she's been doing for the past year and a half and then you'll be ready to watch the
00:54:55.040 show tomorrow night this is a great video a lot of people would look at this and go well of course
00:55:00.960 a tax can't stop a hurricane like that's not what it's for but yes it is it's a carbon tax it's
00:55:08.740 supposed to stop global warming according to all of the experts and the politicians but check this
00:55:14.880 out this is absolutely great what's perplexing about quote-unquote carbon pricing i'll just
00:55:22.740 carbon tax is what is it doing to prevent disasters what has the liberal the federally
00:55:31.460 imposed liberal carbon tax because i come from a province that it has been imposed on
00:55:35.860 done for the environment how come it didn't prevent hurricane fiona where are those tax
00:55:42.300 dollars going what is it doing nothing rosemary falk who is the conservative mp of the battlefords
00:55:50.100 in saskatchewan i think that's great i think that's great i mean like she's asking an absolutely
00:55:56.900 ridiculous question right but it's not if you go by the lefty marxist narrative
00:56:08.820 so it's brilliant i think it's brilliant she deserves and that was last week so she deserves
00:56:14.900 some kind of a i'm gonna have to come up with prizes maybe i'll come up with a stooge of the
00:56:20.260 week and an awesome an awesomeness of the week and then i'll hand them out on friday night
00:56:24.120 this is great kanye west wearing a white lives matter shirt at a surprise yeezy show
00:56:32.300 that's a that's a fashion show a kanye west making a statement the rapper staged a surprise
00:56:40.580 yeezy fashion show monday in paris showcasing his season nine collection to much fanfare
00:56:45.580 before the models appeared west gave a speech while wearing a white lives matter t-shirt
00:56:50.380 emblazoned with the pope's face on the front and the same bedazzled flip-flops he sported
00:56:55.400 last week white lives matter kanye west a black man
00:57:00.640 i love it that is fantastic and he's going to put it in his fall fashion line
00:57:11.420 so people i wonder if these woke stores in new york and los angeles will actually put them in
00:57:18.620 their stores for sale or is this just a one-time statement by kanye would they do it interesting
00:57:26.480 I'm going to take a little bit of an aside here.
00:57:29.740 As we were talking about making T-shirts,
00:57:31.980 maybe back in the springtime,
00:57:33.340 around the time of the Freedom Convoy,
00:57:37.200 about, you know, small fringe minority
00:57:39.840 with unacceptable views.
00:57:40.980 We wanted to make that a T-shirt.
00:57:43.180 Mike Foyjackas and I from Voyage Funeral Homes.
00:57:45.320 He's going to be on Wednesday night, by the way,
00:57:46.980 after the show with another episode
00:57:48.880 of Ask the Funeral Director.
00:57:50.000 So we took that, happy or proud to be a part of,
00:57:53.520 you know, fringe minority with unacceptable views.
00:57:56.140 and we took it to two different places that do t-shirts around town here and they said no sorry
00:58:00.500 we're not doing that why not you don't want our money no i'm sorry it's a political statement
00:58:07.360 your name is not on the shirt this is on the shirt why do you not want our money
00:58:13.440 and there's a lot of businesses out there making bad business decisions based upon this ideology
00:58:21.020 and we've been talking about this for a while uh many conservative political commentators in the
00:58:27.840 united states especially have been talking about this for a while the alternate economy right
00:58:33.220 the only question is what's that going to be what does that look like in the future is it gold and
00:58:39.200 silver i would say yes because what we're going to have i think in the future is digital currency
00:58:45.880 that will be within the matrix and outside of the matrix everything will be coins probably silver
00:58:52.300 coins i think it's not going to be gold bars because that's going to be okay i'm going to
00:58:56.080 buy a jersey milk and a pack of smokes here's one gold bar nope that's a little bit too much
00:59:02.660 and how do you make change for that but that system will probably start developing as the
00:59:08.060 digital system starts to develop the cashless economy that's how it's going to look people
00:59:14.980 have asked me okay so what if i have two million dollars in the bank how is that going to transfer
00:59:21.140 well it wouldn't transfer into the uh gold and silver unless you do that yourself
00:59:26.820 and i don't know how it would transfer in terms of new digital dollars if it would be worth the
00:59:32.820 same thing if you're still going to have two million or if it's going to be uh two dollars
00:59:37.220 on the credit or how that's going to go but something is going to happen like the financial
00:59:42.500 system right now worldwide is very shaky, at least in the Western world. I mean, you know what
00:59:47.540 happened in the UK with the Bank of England last week, and people are wondering, hmm, how long is
00:59:52.640 it going to be before it happens over here in the United States and Canada? We do know that the stock
00:59:57.220 markets today held a pretty big rally and gained back a lot of what they lost last week, but a lot
01:00:01.960 of pundits are saying, this is temporary, man. I mean, it's going down. There's nothing we can do
01:00:06.340 to stop it. Stagflation is a thing. Anyway, I want to leave you guys with the words of Brian
01:00:13.080 Peckford in an editorial piece he wrote last week as his court case was going on in British Columbia.
01:00:27.860 FCPP.org is where you can find this from Brian Peckford. As I tried to sleep last night,
01:00:35.460 the words of the lawyers and the judge in my lawsuit kept swirling around in my mind.
01:00:40.440 The judge's attitude seemed almost like they were debating the validity of a dog license.
01:00:45.400 And recalling the words of my lawyer's interviews some hours earlier about the case, reading the
01:00:50.160 judgments just brought down by Judge Hinkson in British Columbia in the case brought by Victoria
01:00:55.380 lawyer Jeremy Maddock, recalling the judgments I read of earlier constitutional cases in Manitoba
01:01:01.620 and British Columbia and Ontario, recalling the denigrating views expressed about certain
01:01:07.160 citizens of our country by our Prime Minister and Chief Judge. I realize now that we have lost
01:01:15.180 the ability to distinguish between a simple commodity for trade and the values and principles
01:01:19.760 that are meant to bind a country together. A constitution is not a trade agreement. We're not
01:01:25.580 talking milk and egg quotas, a lumber deal between the U.S. and Canada, a monetary policy of interest
01:01:31.160 rates and inflation, debts and deficits, GDP and trade imbalances, and all of the horse trading
01:01:36.400 that's embedded in all of this. When Socrates stood before the Athenian jury millennium ago,
01:01:42.000 around 590 BC, he knew the jig was up. Freedom, liberty, free speech would be traded away.
01:01:49.240 It was too dangerous for the power elite. Cicero knew he was fighting a losing battle in the Senate
01:01:54.640 with the authoritarians of his day, and he fought for the rights of the Sicilians. Socrates knew he
01:02:00.920 would have to take the poison. When I was in Ottawa this year with the courageous truckers,
01:02:07.840 the cloud hung over the multitude. The power elite would not negotiate, and the Emergencies Act
01:02:13.540 followed. The power elite were scared their power was crumbling. Defending freedom, like Socrates,
01:02:19.980 must be stopped. Even the terms of reference assessing the Emergencies Act validity is to
01:02:25.720 be determined by the government who imposed the act. When I, along with others, began a lawsuit
01:02:31.300 through the Justice Center for Constitutional Freedom seeking to protect our constitutional
01:02:35.280 right of mobility, who would have thought that this so-called expedited process would still be
01:02:41.540 ongoing and that our federal government would be attempting to block the case from even being heard?
01:02:47.460 Using legal tricks, especially relevant description in this case of freedom and rights,
01:02:51.400 constitutional protected rights and freedoms, one would have thought such a ploy, should I say
01:02:56.840 play, wound never even being considered or entertained. One would have thought the
01:03:02.220 government would want constitutional validity of what they were doing. We've lost our moral
01:03:07.780 compass and have allowed principles and values to become commodities, tradable even by the courts.
01:03:14.380 Mootness must now be negotiated before we know whether we have any right of mobility under
01:03:19.020 Section 6 of the Charter. Judge Hinkson measures whether enough liberty has been taken away
01:03:24.220 to infringe upon the value principled of life, liberty, and security of the person in our
01:03:28.980 Charter, our Constitution. A judge in Manitoba just believed the state's narrative in the face
01:03:34.420 of credible, independent evidence. Your Honor, I understood your role was to protect freedom,
01:03:41.340 not limit it. I thought that the onus was on those trying to limit it to prove this.
01:03:46.700 Yet we see you taking upon yourselves to determine the limits of personal liberty, all based upon a circumstance that was and is unscientific by an objective measure.
01:03:57.980 Jeremy Maddock, who took the case of liberty to the B.C. Supreme Court, says about the decision limiting his freedom.
01:04:04.760 If this precedent stands, the government can make your life as inconvenient or unpleasant or uncomfortable as it wants without infringing your rights to liberty.
01:04:14.840 I remember the King James version of the Bible
01:04:18.080 excerpt from 1 Corinthians
01:04:20.300 when I was a child I spoke as a child
01:04:22.620 I understood as a child
01:04:23.980 I thought as a child
01:04:25.040 but when I became a man
01:04:26.220 I put away childish things
01:04:28.140 and for now we see through a glass darkly
01:04:32.160 but then face to face
01:04:33.820 or more ominously Wordsworth's famous words
01:04:36.980 the sad still music of humanity
01:04:39.260 values don't die or fade away
01:04:41.660 or be replaced like trade agreements
01:04:43.240 they last
01:04:45.080 That's why Socrates, Cicero, the Magna Carta, and Voltaire,
01:04:48.740 the American Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers,
01:04:51.820 the early French Revolution, are still relevant.
01:04:55.040 They speak of values, principles, freedom, and liberty
01:04:57.640 that will never die as long as we retain our humanity.
01:05:02.000 That's what constitutions are supposed to be,
01:05:04.960 to encompass values, principles.
01:05:07.160 That's why Section 52 of the Constitution Act says,
01:05:10.580 the constitution of canada is the supreme law of canada and any law that is inconsistent with
01:05:18.100 the provisions of the constitution is to the extent of the inconsistency of no force or effect
01:05:24.160 and why it's difficult to change deliberately democracy must reign for it to be changed
01:05:30.300 even last generation's pop song writers got it right when they lamented in song is nothing
01:05:35.400 sacred anymore. And, Your Honor, the intent of Section 1 of the Charter was for it to be used
01:05:41.100 only when the state was in peril, war, or insurrection. There was no circumstance in
01:05:47.840 the last two years when this condition existed. This idea of the framers was clearly expressed
01:05:52.900 in Section 4 of the Charter. In time of real or apprehended war, invasion, or insurrection,
01:06:00.020 a house of commons may be continued by parliament and a legislative assembly may be continued by
01:06:06.160 the legislature beyond five years if such continuation is not opposed by the votes of
01:06:11.800 more than one-third of the members of the house of commons or the legislative assembly as the case
01:06:16.700 may be do you think it plausible that the framers would include the extending of sitting of parliament
01:06:21.960 under war and invasion insurrection and not the rights and freedoms they were enshrining for the
01:06:27.860 first time in the Constitution? Furthermore, even if the intent was not clear, and in my view
01:06:33.640 it is, the tests in Section 1 especially of demonstrably justify in a free and democratic
01:06:40.420 society have not been met by those governments who have tried to argue they met the charter
01:06:45.360 conditions and imposed draconian charter-breaking measures. Where are the cost-benefit analysis to
01:06:51.700 give meaning to the demonstrable justify? There are none. Where are the parliamentary debates
01:06:56.380 and supervision to give meaning to in a free and democratic society. There were none. In the last
01:07:02.360 days, an American federal judge has ruled. In the ruling permanently enjoining the vaccine and mask
01:07:08.440 mandate in 24 states, U.S. District Court Judge Terry A. Dowdy writes, the public interest is
01:07:15.740 served by maintaining the constitutional structure and maintaining the liberty of individuals
01:07:20.140 who do not want to take the COVID-19 vaccine. This interest outweighs agency defendants'
01:07:27.840 interests. The public has a liberty interest in not being required to take a vaccine or be fired
01:07:34.060 from their jobs. The public interest must be taken into account before allowing agency defendants to
01:07:39.640 maintain or mandate vaccines. Although vaccines arguably serve the public interest, arguably,
01:07:45.280 the liberty interests of individuals mandated to take COVID-19 vaccines outweigh any interest
01:07:51.660 generated by the mandatory administration of vaccines. This is the crux of the matter.
01:07:58.440 Where does personal freedom and rights stand with you concerning our charter provisions and
01:08:03.500 what is now happening in our country? Will fear, bad science, and government dictate overrule fair
01:08:09.760 and reasonable assessment? Will rights and freedoms gain the rightful elevated place in
01:08:15.040 the pantheon of democracy's values or just another degraded bargaining chip leading to
01:08:20.280 our democratic decline? Your courts use in many of its judgments intent, context to render a fair
01:08:27.120 decision such as needed now. Sadly, it seems clear to me now as the last living first minister who
01:08:34.720 signed the 1981 Patriation Agreement that was to become the Constitution Act of 1982,
01:08:40.680 that since its inception, two things have occurred which have limited our liberty and freedom
01:08:45.280 and the integrity of our Constitution. From its inception, the process on how our charter came
01:08:52.060 together was abused and wrongly described. But more importantly, as your courts ignored in their
01:08:57.700 decisions the two principles that the framers deliberately inserted at the introduction of the
01:09:02.880 Charter, Supremacy of God and the Rule of Law, there was the undermining of values, principles
01:09:08.680 and permanence necessary for individual rights and freedoms to be paramount in the conduct of
01:09:14.200 our democracy. If this cannot be restored, given the failed state of the other two branches and
01:09:20.100 the failure of the fourth estate, the press, none carried any news on this week's federal
01:09:25.640 court hearing on rights and freedoms, our democracy is in deep peril. Individual rights
01:09:33.720 and freedoms are not bargaining chips in a trade war, but fundamental permanent values and
