00:07:15.800 canceled tour dates. It's called stiff person syndrome. So she is dealing with this rare

00:07:22.420 incurable neurological disorder and will be forced to cancel her upcoming tour dates.

00:07:27.600 Dion revealed she has been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome in an emotional Instagram video

00:07:33.520 posted earlier this morning. The 54 year old Quebec native says the diagnosis will force her

00:07:38.740 to postpone or cancel all of her 2023 European tour dates that were set to begin in February.

00:07:45.200 So there was a lot of joking going on today, excuse me, online.

00:17:04.060 the high humidity make things worse for me um and uh so I went to her place and picked her up and we

00:17:14.500 went to the college and I wasn't about I would say I was about 20 feet away from my car and it

00:17:23.200 just hits you I don't know if it was a gust of wind I don't know if it was I was I had gone to

00:17:30.300 that school in grade 10 but they've done extensive renovations to that school and they've added on

00:17:36.440 so I didn't I didn't quite know the layout of it um like I don't go to malls anymore when Jay

00:17:43.380 comes home this weekend, he'll be doing the grocery shopping by himself or the Christmas

00:17:48.600 shopping by himself. Um, but what happened was I froze and I went, Oh shit. And my sister-in-law

00:17:59.520 was a couple of steps ahead of me. And all I could think of was if I can get to the vehicles,

00:18:06.000 cause I was kind of in the middle of the parking lot. If I can get to the vehicles and just grab

00:18:09.940 onto something maybe I can hold myself up and and then after that everything kind of I'm still

00:18:24.140 called her today and I said can you explain to me what you saw because it means she's

00:18:28.100 she's been with me throughout this whole thing but she's never seen an actual episode

00:24:06.440 i um like i said it was like winning the lottery there's a lot of people that came out of the

00:24:18.580 woodwork and that have never showed any interest or any compassion or empathy um towards me having

00:24:26.400 this disease. And, uh, you know, they were like, Oh, well, you know, now that Celine Dion has it,

00:24:33.760 maybe you'll have a better chance for a cure. And, uh, so it was kind of inundated with all

00:24:43.180 these messages. And I think I had like over 20 of them in and throughout the day I've had like

00:24:48.260 probably over 50 and um but then I went online and I'm seeing comments and I'm seeing you know

00:24:59.060 she was pro-vaccine and and all this kind of stuff and it's like yeah who gives a shit guys

00:25:07.260 seriously seriously now we're the people wishing harm and discriminating and wishing ill on others
