00:06:47.220Okay, we're going to start off the show tonight with a news article that came in around noontime from left-wing corporate CTV.
00:06:56.160Three people arrested during small protests outside Parliament Hill, and here's the story.
00:07:00.700Ottawa police arrested three people for obstruction, and a bylaw services officer issued four tickets during a protest outside Parliament Hill today.
00:07:08.980dozens of people gathered on Wellington Street late Wednesday afternoon for a protest. Late this
00:07:15.740afternoon, Ottawa police were on scene in the area of Parliament Hill to ensure public safety
00:07:20.100was maintained during a demonstration, police said on X. Some protesters were using large speakers
00:07:26.100and loud hailers in contravention of bylaws. After various interactions with police, three people
00:07:31.040were arrested for obstruction and later released on conditions. While it's the duty of police to
00:07:37.280support legal demonstrations we will not tolerate behaviors that endanger public safety
00:07:42.140or violations of the criminal code bylaws or liquor license and control act seems to stretch
00:07:50.520to me from the video we saw yesterday ottawa bylaw services officers issued three tickets
00:07:56.220for noise violations and one ticket for encumbering the roadway during the protest police issued a
00:08:03.200notice over the weekend saying they were monitoring for the potential of vehicle-based
00:08:06.860protests in Ottawa but said they had no specific information about the protests and then of course
00:08:12.340in true left-wing corporate media fashion some self-described freedom advocates were traveling
00:08:19.680across the country to draw a demonstration of their grievances or attention to their grievances
00:08:23.720against the federal government in a video posted on Facebook the protesters said it was a peaceful
00:08:29.680protest we have another angle of the cop tasering that man yesterday as his wife pleads with police
00:08:38.440exclaiming her husband has had multiple heart attacks the protester is seen subdued under
00:08:44.520ottawa police before they tase him let's make this big so everybody can see and here we go
00:10:32.680There's no indication that the political class in this country have learned anything.
00:10:38.720They just continue to go about their day over and over and they do and act the same way they did during lockdowns.
00:10:48.600You know, we're just not seeing any evidence to suggest whatsoever that any government official in this country is actually on the side of the people.
00:10:59.400And it just, I have to say, it shocks the conscience to really look at this and say, after everything that we've been through as a country, after everything that the federal government continues to do to people, how can the police in this country still go after the public and do nothing for the actions of the government?
00:15:05.000You've lost control of the guy that you've already subdued and now you're sending 50,000, you know, volts through this guy's body, uh, when he's already been subdued.
00:15:15.800So honestly, I look at that and I think that's just absolutely horrific training.
00:15:21.980Uh, I think that police officer should be recoursed, sent back to, uh, OPC and retrained, uh, and held up as a lesson in what not to do.
00:15:32.160like when you have a person who's subdued to that point you have control you have control there's no
00:15:38.920reason and and honestly when i saw him starting to point that taser at the crowd i thought oh boy
00:15:44.580this guy's already lost this guy this officer has lost he should be facing some sort of uh review
00:15:50.700at the very least interesting that it seemed as though you know later on in that video the one we
00:15:56.880showed yesterday that there was a more senior officer who was kind of walking the perimeter
00:16:03.100trying to keep the people at bay and he too had his taser in his hand and while he wasn't flailing
00:16:09.080it around like this younger officer was he did actually appear to threaten some of these people
00:16:14.660with it and that seems way out of line also i was surprised by that as well uh because you can't
00:16:23.180again unfortunately see who's behind the camera you don't know the size of the crowd that he's
00:16:27.520facing off with but it did seem a little bit unusual to me that he would unholster the the
00:16:38.240taser um i don't know what ottawa's rules of engagement are or what their escalation of force
00:16:44.680rules dictate to to them specifically in ottawa but it really did seem a little bit unusual to me
00:16:52.060uh, that he would take that out of its holster and carry it around like that.
00:16:56.980Um, because there was nobody behind him.
00:17:00.080He had plenty of room to back up if he needed to.
00:17:02.940So I gotta say like that didn't seem overly controlled.
00:17:10.140Uh, and that's the one thing I want to say that I don't feel like they
00:17:13.880controlled the environment around the people that were being arrested.
00:17:16.960i'm gonna have to get your opinion on the uh this new version of the convoy i think it's the east
00:17:24.260west slash save the children convoy we talked with the boys from vr v4f about this last night
00:17:30.400uh and while they were suggesting that people like you know freedom george and ron clark and
00:17:35.500colin big bear are good guys they may be being used by some infiltrator we don't know who as
00:17:45.800useful idiots and that's an expression i'm not calling them idiots by the way that is just a
00:17:50.640term that gets used in this kind of a circumstance what are your thoughts on all of this well i i've
00:17:56.460met colin big bear i think he's a great guy really true to what it is he's trying to do and i do
00:18:03.540think you know ron clark he's a little bit uh i've i've had interactions with him well not directly
00:18:10.520But, you know, as a response to some of the things he said about me, and I've never personally met him from what I can recall, I think that all these people, their heart is in the right place.
00:18:25.280I think they want to be the masters of their own destiny, you know, at least make the world go back to the way it was before COVID.
00:18:34.140But there's just a lot of really interesting questions about who's running that show.
00:18:40.520Um, I, I don't get the sense that everything is as it seems.
00:18:49.940And the reason I say that is you see people, you know, Jody Ledgerwood did a great video, um, yesterday saying, look, Facebook goes in and tampers with all my stuff about this particular thing.
00:19:01.960But these guys with this new convoy, they're, they're fully wide open.
00:19:23.900The only hope they would have would to be on Twitter or Rumble.
00:19:27.320Um, but the, the fact that certain social media platforms are allowing it to continue.
00:19:31.800Listen, I, I'm unbelievably skeptical and very suspicious of anything that CSIS does on Canadian soil. Um, I would not put it past CSIS to be involved in this. I mean, we saw, you know, their behavior during the freedom convoy. Um, and I have said many times, I think it was CSIS that were the ones who carried the, the Nazi flag and the Confederate flag.
00:19:59.600I don't think, I don't, listen, when I sat there and watched with the public order emergency commission, when David Vigneault got cross-examined with his two other people, he sat there and he, and he walked through this whole roadmap of how they look for an IMVE and ideologically motivated, motivated, violent extremist.
00:20:21.580And what their whole roadmap to was to, to triggering an investigation into these people.
00:20:27.400So they walk us through and Brendan Miller, our lawyer walks, gets up, shows a picture
00:20:31.760of the guy with the Confederate flag in his truck with his license plate.
00:20:58.740It's because you know exactly who it is, right?
00:21:01.860Same thing last year, you know, V4F, several other organizations came out and said, look, this Marcus Ray guy, there's too many questions about Marcus Ray.
00:21:13.820and you know i you look at the i think there's seven seven demands um a list of seven items
00:21:22.700that this new convoy wants there's one about children out of the seven i thought you were
00:21:30.860there for the children like i even for me it's unclear as to what is your objective what are you
00:21:36.300trying to do i do think that their heart is in the right place some of these people that are heavily
00:21:41.360involved but i just don't think that this thing is exactly what it appears to be wendy is asking
00:21:48.540a question and this is something tom i've been hearing all week long uh people are at their
00:21:54.260wits and fever pitch they don't know what else to do and wendy is saying what else do we do and no
00:21:59.920one seems to have the answer even though we did do a pretty good job of answering that question
00:22:04.660last night with uh jeff and drew from b4f there are all kinds of local initiatives that we can
00:22:10.320get involved in what's your take i agree it's it has to be done at the local level um it is very
00:22:17.720very clear to me that it has to be done at the local level and drew drew honestly is the one
00:22:24.080who finally convinced me of that um what we have to realize is a is a number of things one
00:22:31.880you're not going to make a big move and turn this whole thing around overnight
00:22:37.320I believe that this war has been waged against the Canadian public for decades.
00:22:45.680COVID is when we all finally noticed because the other side made their big moves and it woke everybody up.
00:22:53.640And what it woke us up to is the fact that every single institution within our society that we as citizens interact with on a daily basis,
00:23:03.240I'm talking education, banking, uh, religious institutions, policing, politics, local councils, all the way up to federal, uh, politics, the churches, every institution, the medical community, especially every, every institution has been captured at the local level.
00:33:56.200You know, I came from a not very well-off family.
00:34:03.180And I could tell you that, you know, what I learned at a very, very young age is that the kids that I grew up with who had nothing, the poorest among us will always give you the most.
00:34:20.260those who are well off or even affluent will always give you the least. And I learned that
00:34:26.560lesson as a very young child. You know, you've heard the phrase, you know, this guy, he's got
00:34:31.520nothing, but he'll give you the shirt off his back. Right. That is certainly true across professions
00:34:36.440with some exceptions, with very few exceptions. I mean, look at the lawyers in this country.
00:34:43.180I mean, we've got all the lawyers from Democracy Fund, JCCF, Keith Wilson, Eva, you know, all these
00:34:49.200people who I'm talking about, Alan Honor with Democracy Fund, a lot of great lawyers. Brendan
00:34:54.680Miller is another great lawyer who, you know, there's too few of them. And we always have to
00:34:59.860remember, and I'm getting to your point, but, or to your question, but we always have to remember
00:35:05.460that all of the things that the government has done to us in the last three years were written
00:35:10.100by lawyers. All of those mandates were written by lawyers. Okay. There are a lot of CEOs of
00:35:18.760major corporations out there in Canada that secretly are behind everything that we've all
00:35:25.880done, but they're not going to come forward. They're not going to throw their support.
00:35:31.180They're not going to publicly talk to Tom Marazzo. Are you kidding? Privately, they will,
00:35:36.560but they're not going to come out and take a stand publicly and admonish any of the BS coming
00:35:42.860from the federal government. But they're more than happy to secretly tell me that how much,
00:35:48.360you know, they, they like what I've done and you know, they're behind me, but show me, show me,
00:35:53.560why is it that a guy like Ron Clark, despite, you know, everything that he has going on in his life,
00:36:02.320he's out there. He's out there leading the charge with other people
00:36:06.440and the corporate CEOs, the Titans of industry are not.
00:36:11.320so is there a class system i don't know that it's a class system per se other than some people feel
00:36:20.740that they have more to risk and to lose than other people wondering the ones who yeah these
00:36:29.720captains of industry that you refer to and and you know all of the people who have walked up to
00:36:34.180us in the past three and a half years or so and said man i really i really appreciate what you're
00:36:41.320can't come out and say it because you know my job and my house and all of that but these captains
00:36:47.060of industry should know that if they spoke out the power of their words would resonate through
00:36:53.240the entire country through all class systems through all levels of government uh including
00:36:58.400the federal government and things could possibly at least start to slow down maybe even turn around
00:37:04.180if three or four of them started speaking out especially the incredibly powerful ones
00:37:08.860I agree. I agree with that. Um, you know, I've, I've had conversations with Keith Wilson and he's told me that, uh, several very influential people in his circles have come to him and said, Hey, Keith, like, thank God you were in Ottawa. Thank you for doing that.
00:37:31.080But none of them are coming out in publicly doing this.
00:37:36.020You know, and I don't say that because I'm trying to get Keith into trouble or anything like that.
00:37:41.320But I would like to encourage people, if you think that Keith had this moral courage, which he does, the man is unstoppable.
00:37:49.920He has a phenomenal brain, you know, the intellect to do this, the moral courage to take a stand and to do it publicly.
00:37:58.040people should be getting his back you know instead they're not and that's the shame like it's it's
00:38:09.240all in big bear it's ron clark um it's me it's you we're all in the trenches doing all the fighting
00:38:17.720and you don't see the people who have the means to make the biggest difference you know nobody's
00:38:24.880gonna call uh what's his name kevin o'leary as an example nobody's gonna go after kevin o'leary
00:38:31.660like they go after me yeah you know they're not gonna call him a seditionist an insurrectionist
00:38:37.500a traitor they're gonna say oh shit like kevin o'leary man okay what's he got to say you know
00:38:44.400what i mean like this is this is where we're at um so i don't think it's class so much as it's
00:38:50.400people protecting their own butts and their own fortunes there's been so many allegations within
00:38:57.260the freedom movement about he's captured he is controlled opposition he is this he is that and
00:39:02.920they talk about you they talk about me they talk about ron clark the useful idiots they talk about
00:39:07.940keith wilson and eva chipiak and they talk about even theo flurry joseph forgo you know people who
00:39:14.060are actually doing something trying to do something trying to get the word out trying to rally people
00:39:19.440trying to make them understand is there really controlled opposition out there or is it just a
00:39:25.620bunch of people who have the same goal but different methods of getting there man that's
00:39:31.580that is such a such a good question i don't know the answer to that but i think i understand
00:39:38.800maybe more of a solution to that if you are focusing on attacking tom marazzo
00:39:47.140and you're not talking about the federal government and the 338,
00:39:55.880then I think your priorities are wrong.
00:39:58.460I think your aim, your objective is to build your audience
00:40:02.200and to somehow monetize controversy within this movement.
00:40:08.520And so rather than engage in this tit for tat and this back and forth,
00:54:13.480Um, I talk about James tall, you know, almost a chapter, uh, because, you know, for people
00:54:20.060that don't know, I've known James since 1996.
00:54:24.320Um, you know, my experience with him, my experience when James and I in June of 2022 met with
00:54:32.840federal members of parliament, me, James and Paul Alexander.
00:54:36.940Uh, and I described what that meeting was like in, in my impressions.
00:54:41.100so there is a lot in this book it could have been probably three times the length but i i tried to
00:54:48.920try to keep it a little bit more concise something i struggle with well maybe a part two uh soon have
00:54:56.320you been following the trial of chris and tamara and i guess pat king soon he's going to trial in
00:55:01.200the next couple of weeks he lost his change of venue motion today so he'll be tried in in ottawa
00:55:05.880Yeah. Yeah. I did go, um, to the first day of Chris and Tamara's trial. Um, I'm here in Brampton, Ontario. And, you know, Chris was, um, Chris was over two weeks ago for dinner, you know, like we're, we're in, I can have communications with Chris. I can't with Tamara. Um, because last time, you know, you know what happened? Yeah, still, you know what happened? She ended up in jail, um, because of the crown clown prosecutor.
00:55:35.880uh, that was, was deliberately targeting her.
00:55:40.240So, you know, I'm very cautious, um, around Tamara because of the implications to her,
01:09:22.280I cannot comment on the particular books that the member is mentioning, but I can talk
01:09:30.200as a parent, whose children are going to the public school system, who have gone to the
01:09:35.080public school system. And I have never encountered anything inappropriate being taught to my
01:09:41.600children. And I take such pride in our public education system. I am so proud of the teachers.
01:09:50.160Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Never answers the question. Just uses safe and inclusive.
01:09:58.200You got to hand it to Bruce Bannon, who is a conservative MLA, just switched parties.
01:10:04.460As a matter of fact, he was a member of the Liberal Party and whatever they are now.
01:10:08.300The Liberal Party of BC's got a new name, but he switched to the Conservative Party of British Columbia.
01:10:13.840He stands up in the legislature. He reads those words.
01:10:16.660He gets admonished by the Speaker of the House.
01:10:19.200And then he says, why are books like this available to kids as young as 11?
01:10:25.400And this minister of education gets up and they are using the resources they have at hand. I am very proud of our teachers, blah, blah, blah. This is a very important step, my friends, in getting people to understand what is going on. You may not think so.
01:10:43.700but this is one of the other things that we can do you know something is interesting here
01:10:50.060i know there are a lot of people who are concerned about what's going on right now with the lgbtq
01:10:56.580the soji one two three curriculum that is being embedded into our school systems all across the
01:11:05.420country well what we can do is stop trying to reinvent the wheel and stop trying to form our
01:11:12.440own little groups in our own little communities we can do that but we can take advice and we can
01:11:17.340take ideas from other larger groups that are already out there doing what we want to do example
01:11:24.100being nadine ness with unified grassroots in saskatchewan she has managed to form an alliance
01:11:33.200of people that has made an impact in that government the government of saskatchewan she
01:11:39.480has had sit downs her and her board of directors have had sit downs with ministers including the
01:11:45.100premier of saskatchewan scott moe and they have been instrumental in getting this legislation
01:11:51.480on the schools in saskatchewan that says they can no longer have this stuff in their public school
01:11:56.940system so get a hold of nadine she is available on x she's available through unified grassroots
01:12:04.460online and find out how she did it and then go ahead and start trying to build the same sort of
01:12:11.100thing as opposed to starting your own thing and not knowing because that takes a lot of time
01:12:16.660she's already got a template she's already got a model and there are other organizations out there
01:12:21.520who are just like that who can help you you don't have to become a member of that organization
01:12:26.840but they will be willing to help you form your own so that we can go ahead and get the ball rolling
01:12:33.580We can get politicians like this guy elected in our own provinces or in our own cities and towns who will stand up and ask these questions.
01:12:44.340And then when the government of the day stands up and says, well, we're proud and it's safe and inclusive, you call them out on that crap.
01:12:52.640This woman, Roshna Singh, the minister of education in British Columbia, looked like an absolute bozo answering these questions twice.
