00:09:05.960If you want to buy retail, you can do so at any one of the great retail locations across Canada.
00:09:10.680And if you want to be a retailer of this awesome stuff yourself, get a hold of Kevin and Anna through the contact tab at canadananosilver.ca.
00:09:19.600And don't forget, we have these tickets.
00:09:22.140These tickets for the show in Winkler tomorrow night are from Kevin and Anna at Canada Nano Silver.
00:09:27.720We have two tickets to give away on our Facebook feed tonight.
00:09:30.740You have to say in the Facebook feed, feed, feed, shadow, I want those tickets, and I
00:09:37.500might pick your name randomly at any point in the show tonight.
00:09:42.220That means from now until the thing is over.
00:09:54.680Of course, the one that spiraled you into stardom, my friend, the first one, How the Prime Minister Stole Christmas, and now you've got a new one called The Young Kid's Guide to Grooming.
00:10:04.620Thank you for coming on tonight. It's a pleasure to have you back on.
00:10:07.460Hey, thanks for having me. It's always fun to be here.
00:10:09.500In fact, I had to make sure I was wearing my Grand Beach Club sweater to come on because while I live in Calgary, Winnipeg is always home.
00:10:17.500That's an oldie. That's a chip and pepper, isn't it?
00:10:20.580No, Warehouse One re-released these, and when I was in Manitoba last February,
00:10:25.280visiting and doing a little bit of press, I decided to grab everything I could
00:10:29.560that had that label on it, just an old throwback.
00:10:33.260So let me ask you, before we talk about the book,
00:10:36.740were you involved in the march in Calgary yesterday? Did you get out there?
00:10:40.600I was. In fact, I streamed on my YouTube channel for the march.
00:10:43.820I wanted to make sure that we got the coverage out.0.51
00:10:45.740But I got to say, for a city that usually is pretty quiet when it comes to protesting, despite the recent uptick from the Muslim community about the drag time story hours and things like that, Calgary is usually pretty quiet.
00:11:01.280Although I'd say yesterday we saw about 2,000 people or maybe slightly more out for the march, and it was mostly peaceful.
00:11:08.800I think there was about 16 counter protesters across the street, so there certainly wasn't a lot of them.
00:11:15.740uh not not nearly as many as there were in support at least um and and it was very peaceful it was
00:11:22.380very well organized and uh it was great to see everybody out there supporting parental rights
00:11:27.000for uh for parents in the school system was there any vitriol exchanged between the two groups i
00:11:32.540know that their side was pretty small but sometimes they can be mouthy regardless you know cars were
00:11:38.400driving up and down uh the avenue and and they had kind of a split so so the the harry hayes building
00:11:45.460It's a government building right in downtown Calgary.
00:11:48.560And that's kind of the plaza where all the supporters were standing.
00:11:51.820The anti-protesters were across the street in front of the Delta Hotel.
00:11:55.360And police were actually doing a really good job of keeping both parties separated.
00:12:00.200At first, they were over at the plaza where all the protesters were.
00:12:03.700And as the counter-protests started to get a little bit louder,
00:12:07.020they moved over there because they realized that we weren't going to be a problem
00:15:21.560Oh, God, it's great. I'd recommend anybody go and see it, support it.
00:15:24.500But I think movies like this, especially with the pushback it's gotten, it's important that everybody get out and support it and show, especially groups like Hollywood, that we're interested in these kind of properties and that we're willing to support them.
00:15:38.920There was a bit of controversy with this.
00:15:40.880There were some people who were suggesting that this was just a ploy to add more money to Hollywood's coffers and that these guys were all a part of it.
00:15:51.860Well, I think what it is, if you follow Hollywood and its demise, and I was just recently in California with my family, and it's a different scene from when I was there 17 years ago on my honeymoon.
00:16:04.140And we've seen the strikes that are going on there.
00:16:07.780And when you go past some of the theme parks, you can see how this woke culture has really affected their bottom line.
00:16:16.360I think as a society, people at first were very welcoming of, hey, let's be diverse.
00:16:24.320Let's try and listen to what people have to say.
00:16:26.940The problem with a lot of what's gone on is I think it's the old give an inch, take a mile routine to the point now where people are really fed up with the woke culture.
00:50:27.080As you know, so Mr. Arpin testifying today about his walks.
00:50:31.280He was testifying about things like he felt very uncomfortable down there.
00:50:35.340Big objection from the defense on that point.
00:50:37.560Mr. Arpin asked to leave the courtroom at that point.
00:50:40.760And the defense is discussing with the crown and the court about that, saying that feelings don't lead to facts.
00:50:46.340The court ultimately deciding that, you know, there's some things that he could be asked, not that question specifically, but there are things he could be asked about these walks that may lead to more facts.
00:50:55.300But the bulk of his testimony surrounded the crafting of this February 12th letter or February 13th letter, the letter from the office of Jim Watson, the mayor, to the convoy, to Tamara Leach, where they believe they were addressing the broad center of the convoy, the people with moderate beliefs, the one who were there to end the mandates.
00:51:14.200And they were not interested, the mayor was not interested in addressing anybody with any other issues and, in fact, was using a Mr. Steve French, who was formerly with the Premier's Office of Ontario, to liaise between the mayor's office themselves and the Freedom Convoy.
00:51:27.320And they believed after several back and forths with this, several back and forths with this individual, Mr. French, that they had reached a an agreement on some of the premises is that they were going to that the mayor had that they weren't wasting their time in trying to do this and try to broker this deal with the moderate broad center of the Freedom Convoy there to demonstrate to end the mandates.
00:51:47.000And they felt that this deal could actually do something productive.
00:51:50.040so again uh sorry i'm just gonna have to cut this maybe because uh something's gonna happen here
00:51:55.420just give me a second and we'll come back when that ends sorry again the mental health situation
00:52:00.440here in ottawa just completely very sad very sad total failure from all levels of government
00:52:05.020dealing with this issue but that's just the everyday down here and that's just part and
00:52:08.840parcel of living in ottawa or any city or any town anywhere in the world at this point that's where
00:52:14.020we're at folks it's very sad um but all that notwithstanding i'm going to continue now so
00:52:19.220were talking about Mr. Arpin and how he brokered this deal with Mr. French using him and eventually
00:52:24.740he's the one who drafted the letter from Jim Watson and then he said an administrator in the
00:52:28.880office stamped it and they sent this letter to Tamara Leach where they would negotiate moving
00:52:33.900these trucks on to Wellington. Very interesting. He was asked by the defense about that letter and
00:52:39.100his thinking and he said in contrary to previous testimony that we've heard from other people
00:52:43.820that he was told by city officials including Kim Ayotte that there was enough room on Wellington
00:52:47.940and for the majority of the vehicles to go there.
00:52:50.940And that's very interesting to note that.
00:53:47.680Also some discussion about what's going on, the judge saying that she does not think she can make a decision on the admissions to argument that exclusion of eight witnesses tomorrow, saying that there has been considerable arguments by the Defense Council and the Crown Council and that they need to that she her decision needs to reflect the amount of time that went into crafting those arguments.
00:54:05.440So she does not believe she can make the admissions to decision tomorrow.
00:54:08.760Also hearing about the future, how the schedule is going to move along as tomorrow we're only sitting until one o'clock on Friday, September 22nd for day 13.
00:54:16.540And then we will break until October 10th.
00:54:18.560I believe I'll get back to you on that and we'll be back for two weeks.
00:54:21.260And defense counsel for Barbara expressing that there's a tremendous cost in coming back and forth from Ottawa to where he resides across the country.
00:54:27.800And that maybe he may want to use Zoom if this becomes a piecemeal process.
00:54:32.500and the judge saying piecemeal process i guess day here day there three days on five days off
00:54:37.640is not good for anyone and that they're trying to get the time as best they can but they may
00:54:41.260have to go forward to a jpc the crown saying that that's going to to that as soon as they can agree
00:54:45.800between the different council parties as to you know the the the the obstacles the different and
00:54:51.220the different uh restrictions that different councillors have based on other matters they
00:54:54.180have planned at this point before they can get to that and agree on the rest of the time but
00:54:57.560they're hoping the crown is hoping that they can get that estimate of the talent at the time that
00:55:01.920they think they'll need back to the other parties in a reasonable amount of time and that that could
00:55:06.440be decided. So anyways, from Ottawa, I'm Patriot Smoothie. Thanks for watching.
00:58:39.780And once again, I will say to every single elected representative around the world, to every single member in every elected government around the world,
00:58:51.340If you do not unequivocally stand with the people and serve in their best interest, act in their best interest, you have no place in any parliament or in any government.
01:12:56.940I've got to run off to something, but I want to finish.
01:12:59.340Avatar has been ruled out and the technical issue in Canada is playing on his trip to India.
01:13:04.820Remember, it was an implication, not an admission.
01:13:10.340So they're formulating their conspiracy theories.
01:13:13.560We got to distract from something.0.99
01:13:15.560India, the government of India, they're murderers.0.94
01:13:19.460One of the founders of Greenpeace is Dr. Patrick Moore.0.70
01:13:22.460I have been trying to get this guy on the show and one of these days I will succeed.
01:13:25.840In the meantime, here is a video of Dr. Moore talking about our government banning nitrogen fertilizer under the banner of net zero, like I just told you about in this plant treaty that they're talking about.
01:13:39.440It will cause mass food shortages, starvation and genocide.
01:13:44.880I don't know where they get this idea that there's too much nitrogen in the soil or in the water.
01:13:51.280Nitrogen is, again, one of the building blocks of life.
01:13:54.540and and just like with carbon dioxide and so you you've got now netherlands the the the president
01:14:03.040or prime minister whatever he is of netherlands is saying they have to have make make a third of
01:14:08.940their animals go away uh which provides a lot of the manure for fertilizing the crops and then
01:14:15.540they are also going to ban part of the nitrogen fertilizer for the crops and as i mentioned
01:14:19.860earlier, that the process of making synthetic ammonia is why there are many more billions of
01:14:26.660people alive today than there would have been if that hadn't happened. Those two Nobel prizes that
01:14:31.720were given to Dr. Haber and Bosch, Haber invented the process and Bosch built it up to an industrial
01:14:38.820scale. So millions of tons of fertilizer could be produced around the world. And all farmers in the
01:14:46.220world are dependent on this fertilizer for making their crops grow faster and and bigger and so if
01:14:52.320this if this cascades like netherlands is getting a little close to home it's happening in western
01:14:56.660europe that leaders of governments are banning fertilizer and as i say uh corb lund has a great
01:15:06.420country singer in canada has a song about have you ever seen a a child who hasn't eaten in 18 days
01:15:14.700and uh you know we can live without food for longer than we can without water and we can
01:15:20.960live without water long longer than we can without air but there is a limit with food too and mass
01:15:28.040starvation is not a pretty thing and it's happened all through human history we haven't had much of
01:15:32.260it lately because we've been on a roll in terms of technology and agricultural innovation and
01:15:38.500producing more food and doubled the population like we see but that doesn't necessarily go on
01:15:44.640forever and it would be a shame if it was a self-inflicted wound uh oh it's okay okay let's
01:15:51.340not let's at least not shoot ourselves in in the midsection here uh that's what i see happening
01:15:58.360and food shortages are not something that are easily caught up with there are such things as
01:16:03.580seasons and there are such things as how much you can grow in a certain area of land and if you don't
01:16:09.500have fertilizer you're only going to get half as much and pretty soon the store shelves are going
01:16:14.440to start being empty in some parts of the world and hopefully we're we're in a we're in a much
01:16:19.580better position in north america than most other places in the world in many ways all right now a
01:16:28.060lot of people are suggesting to me you got to get patrick moore guys like that on he's on patrick
01:16:32.960bet david he's on other bigger shows joe rogan and whatnot now guys if you want me to get these
01:16:39.160types of personalities on the show i'll try but you've got to help me getting this show out there
01:16:47.740so we grow the audience so those guys see that oh oh wait a minute i'm going to get up in front of
01:16:53.26020 000 people here i think that that would be a worthwhile thing to do so i know many of you
01:17:00.520have taken ownership of the shadow at night live stream and you share it every night and i thank
01:17:06.480you for that. Now it's time. If we want to truly make this thing grow and that new platform is
01:17:12.900being worked on right now, the one that I talked about last month, we're getting that one set up
01:17:17.100as well. We have to be on as many social media platforms, live streaming as we possibly can.
01:17:24.020We have to be on our own platforms, live streaming as well. We need to talk to as many people as we
01:17:30.620possibly can the way to do that is sharing now i know right now right now in this moment there are
01:17:38.780over 1200 people watching live by this time tomorrow this show will have been seen by probably
01:17:43.840about 10 000 people that's awesome can we double these numbers if you have never shared this show
01:17:52.460before it's time for you to do so now there's a reason you're here it might be the community
01:18:00.040it might be the information i don't know exactly what it is but there's a reason that you're here
01:18:04.940and it's time for you to do your part and get this show out there if you're not sharing it
01:18:10.960because you're scared that somebody's going to call you a name
01:18:14.180that kind of defeats the purpose of being here if you're worried that your facebook account is
01:18:21.820going to get shut down for a period of time three days seven days 30 days whatever then again
01:18:26.320the reason you're here that whole thing is defeated the reason we are here is to gain
01:18:34.900strength from each other and learn how to stand up for ourselves and inspire others to do the same
01:18:41.600and the first step towards that is getting the information out there need you to share this
01:18:48.940if you're watching on rumble uh there's a share button beneath the screen hit that copy the url
01:18:56.220to this show put it out there on your favorite website or your favorite social media platform
01:19:01.420facebook x instagram i don't care what it is if you're watching on x it's a repost please a heart
01:19:08.880if you're watching on facebook right now it's a simple share that's it that's all you have to do
01:19:14.000aside from saying you've got to watch what this guy says you've got to see this and then give them
01:19:21.140the time give them the time that that story that you want them to see is on 47 minutes so they know
01:19:28.500exactly to go to the 47 minute mark it's that easy takes you five maybe 10 minutes 10 minutes
01:19:34.680five sorry two maybe five minutes but it's important guys that we get this out the last
01:19:41.520thing i want to show you tonight as you know russell brand has been accused of sexually
01:19:47.720molesting four women now we hear there's rumors that a reporter went out and tried to farm these
01:19:55.220women who had known relationships with him to see if they would say anything extra about their sex
01:20:00.940lives with russell and they did they came out and said oh he threw me up against the wall he abused
01:20:06.340me and blah blah blah now russell brand for his part came back and said no no wait a minute wait
01:20:11.060a minute yes i was promiscuous back in those days uh using a lot of drugs and alcohol and whatnot
01:20:17.100but let me assure you that any sexual relations i had with anybody were always consensual
01:20:22.540on both sides so he's been taken off well not taken off youtube but he's been demonetized on
01:20:28.460youtube and pretty much all of his other platforms he's got a very successful show
01:20:33.100right now out there but the one platform that he will not be censored by and demonetized on
01:20:39.500is rumble which is one of our chosen platforms here at the shadow at night live stream
01:20:43.820so uh this is a letter from the uk parliament or one member of the uk parliament to the head of
01:20:53.060rumble and it says dear chris i'm writing concerning the serious allegations regarding
01:20:58.120russell brand in the context of his being a content provider on rumble with more than 1.4
01:21:03.620million followers the culture media and sport committee is raising questions with the broadcasters
01:21:09.660and production companies who previously employed Mr. Brand to examine both the culture of the
01:21:14.860industry in the past and whether that culture still prevails today. However, we're also looking
01:21:21.340at his use of social media, including on Rumble, where he's issued his preemptive response
01:21:26.060to the accusation made against him by the Sunday Times and Channel 4's dispatches.
01:21:30.680remember no official uh accusations have been made there is nothing legal about this at all
01:21:39.840there's just allegations at this point from four women that's it who may be conspiring together
01:21:47.620we don't know we don't know of course we don't condone rape or sexual molestation in any way
01:21:55.280but at least let's get this thing proven in court before we start taking them down
01:22:02.680because if it's that easy to get somebody taken down you can say anything about anybody anytime
01:22:08.200that's what they've been doing that's cancel culture at work
01:22:15.380well we recognize that rumble is not the creator of the content published by mr brand we are
01:22:23.920concerned that he may be able to profit from his content on the platform. We'd be grateful if you
01:22:29.320could confirm whether Mr. Brand is able to monetize his content, including his videos relating to the
01:22:34.600serious accusations against him. If so, we would like to know whether Rumble intends to join
01:22:39.880YouTube in suspending Mr. Brand's ability to earn money on the platform. We would also like to know
01:22:45.540what Rumble is doing to ensure that creators are not able to use the platform to undermine the
01:22:50.780welfare of victims of inappropriate and potentially illegal behavior yours truly
01:22:56.780uh dame caroline dianage chair of the culture media and sport committee in the uk parliament
01:23:04.840so um this is what the leader chris pavlosky who is the head of rumble said
01:23:12.500today we received an extremely disturbing letter from a committee chair in the uk parliament
01:23:18.640While Rumble obviously deplores sexual assault, rape, and all serious crimes and believes that both alleged victims and the accused are entitled to a full and serious investigation, it is vital to note that recent allegations against Russell Brand have nothing to do with content on Rumble's platform.
01:23:35.780Just yesterday, YouTube announced that based solely on these media accusations, it was barring Mr. Brand from monetizing his video content. Rumble stands for very different values.
01:23:48.640We have devoted ourselves to the vital cause of defending a free internet, meaning on internet
01:23:53.380where no one arbitrarily dictates which ideas can or cannot be heard or which citizens may or may
01:23:59.980not be entitled to a platform. We regard it as deeply inappropriate and dangerous that the UK
01:24:06.760Parliament would attempt to control who is allowed to speak on our platform or to earn a living from
01:24:11.800doing so. Singling out an individual and demanding his ban is even more disturbing given the absence
01:24:18.400of any connection between the allegations and his content on Rumble. We don't agree with the
01:24:24.380behavior of many Rumble creators, but we refuse to penalize them for actions that have nothing
01:24:29.980to do with our platform. Although it may be politically and socially easier for Rumble
01:24:35.240to join a cancel culture mob, doing so would be a violation of our company's values and mission.
01:24:41.300We emphatically reject the UK Parliament's demands.
01:24:48.400excellent we need more rumbles in the world and that is it for the show tonight you guys
01:25:00.160uh let me remind you that i will be in winkler tomorrow night with jamie soleil and theo fleury
