00:04:27.960 2 000 per town let's just say and that's an average mind you 200 000 this is just a guess

00:09:42.220 That means from now until the thing is over.
00:09:46.120 Let's go and bring him on.
00:09:47.840 Our guest, Derek Smith, he is the author of The Ballad of Tamara Leach and One Face, Two
00:09:53.460 Face, Black Face, Blue Face.
00:09:54.680 Of course, the one that spiraled you into stardom, my friend, the first one, How the Prime Minister Stole Christmas, and now you've got a new one called The Young Kid's Guide to Grooming.
00:10:04.620 Thank you for coming on tonight. It's a pleasure to have you back on.
00:10:07.460 Hey, thanks for having me. It's always fun to be here.
00:10:09.500 In fact, I had to make sure I was wearing my Grand Beach Club sweater to come on because while I live in Calgary, Winnipeg is always home.
00:10:16.080 So it's always good to be back here.
00:10:17.500 That's an oldie. That's a chip and pepper, isn't it?
00:10:20.580 No, Warehouse One re-released these, and when I was in Manitoba last February,
00:10:25.280 visiting and doing a little bit of press, I decided to grab everything I could
00:10:29.560 that had that label on it, just an old throwback.
00:10:33.260 So let me ask you, before we talk about the book,
00:10:36.740 were you involved in the march in Calgary yesterday? Did you get out there?
00:10:40.600 I was. In fact, I streamed on my YouTube channel for the march.
00:10:43.820 I wanted to make sure that we got the coverage out. 0.51
00:10:45.740 But I got to say, for a city that usually is pretty quiet when it comes to protesting, despite the recent uptick from the Muslim community about the drag time story hours and things like that, Calgary is usually pretty quiet.
00:11:01.280 Although I'd say yesterday we saw about 2,000 people or maybe slightly more out for the march, and it was mostly peaceful.
00:11:08.800 I think there was about 16 counter protesters across the street, so there certainly wasn't a lot of them.
00:11:15.740 uh not not nearly as many as there were in support at least um and and it was very peaceful it was
00:11:22.380 very well organized and uh it was great to see everybody out there supporting parental rights
00:11:27.000 for uh for parents in the school system was there any vitriol exchanged between the two groups i
00:11:32.540 know that their side was pretty small but sometimes they can be mouthy regardless you know cars were
00:11:38.400 driving up and down uh the avenue and and they had kind of a split so so the the harry hayes building
00:11:45.460 It's a government building right in downtown Calgary.
00:11:48.560 And that's kind of the plaza where all the supporters were standing.
00:11:51.820 The anti-protesters were across the street in front of the Delta Hotel.
00:11:55.360 And police were actually doing a really good job of keeping both parties separated.
00:12:00.200 At first, they were over at the plaza where all the protesters were.
00:12:03.700 And as the counter-protests started to get a little bit louder,
00:12:07.020 they moved over there because they realized that we weren't going to be a problem
00:12:09.960 and kind of silenced it pretty quick.
00:12:12.220 So there wasn't too much.
00:12:13.660 but uh the police you know as much as people want to complain about the police um i made sure to
00:12:19.440 thank them for their service as i walked by uh they did a great job they were they were very
00:12:24.000 supportive of everybody that was there they were supportive of everybody's rights to protest and
00:12:28.560 i think they did a fantastic job keeping the peace there's a there's a lot of squealing going on from
00:12:33.660 that side today and there was a lot of squealing going on yesterday in the house of commons later
00:12:38.300 on in the show i'm going to play some of that stuff but for now i want to talk about your book
00:12:42.000 my friend it's the new one the young kid's guide to grooming written by you and illustrated now
00:12:46.740 i i never remember how to pronounce this person's name here kaide kaide night but it's japanese but
00:12:52.140 yeah she's she's fantastic okay so the obviously you've got some likenesses in here i do recall
00:12:58.140 reading that in the last few weeks uh i i flipped through this thing derek sent this to me via email
00:13:03.820 a few days ago once again another masterpiece my friend uh can you give us a brief synopsis
00:13:11.780 Well, as you can see from the cover, I mean, these kids get very dirty and they just want
00:13:15.500 to learn about keeping clean.
00:13:16.760 I mean, that was the premise of the book.
00:13:19.160 Unfortunately, this specter shows up that doesn't really understand what they mean by
00:13:25.580 grooming.
00:13:26.420 And there's a little bit of a misunderstanding.
00:13:28.040 Now, he looks a little familiar to people who might have access to flight logs or things
00:13:33.040 like that, but he takes them to his special island where he teaches them all about what
00:13:37.900 he assumes is grooming.
00:13:38.900 and uh these kids kind of get a little bit more than what they're bargaining for i think
00:13:43.520 uh as the adventure goes on look at the thing around his neck yeah but yeah well that's his
00:13:50.300 magical scarf that's uh don't want to say anything negative right i mean the great the two twins uh
00:13:59.160 one joke that people are missing with the twins is they're named riley and vera young which is
00:14:03.620 really and very young is a pun um so we've we've got a lot of jokes in this one we have a lot of
00:14:10.200 uh easter eggs as we usually do in these books and uh man do we ever poke fun at at the community
00:14:16.040 that that pushes these policies and pushes these woke agendas and uh this one was a lot of fun to
00:14:21.660 make because it was our first step out of politics and kind of getting into the culture wars and uh
00:14:26.680 one of the great things that i'm looking forward to with this book is while we write comedy
00:14:30.140 at Unacceptable Fringe Books.
00:14:33.600 We don't find that there's anything funny
00:14:35.320 when it comes to the grooming of children
00:14:36.800 or the misrepresentation of children.
00:14:39.260 So for the first month,
00:14:40.300 I'll be taking a portion of proceeds
00:14:41.820 and we're going to be donating that
00:14:43.360 through one of Theo Fleury's favorite campaigns,
00:14:47.480 which is the Center for Abused Kids in Calgary.
00:14:54.980 And I'm looking forward to giving them a donation
00:14:58.560 and trying to, you know, help out with unfortunate events for children wherever we can.
00:15:04.180 Sound of Freedom was a pretty big movie and a surprise success worldwide.
00:15:08.460 I think it's grossed in somewhere in the area of $250 million, maybe $300 million worldwide now.
00:15:14.140 Have you seen that? Obviously, you have.
00:15:16.140 I've seen it multiple times, and it's a fantastic movie.
00:15:18.780 And if you haven't seen it, have you seen it, Shadow?
00:15:20.340 Yes, I have, a couple times.
00:15:21.560 Oh, God, it's great. I'd recommend anybody go and see it, support it.
00:15:24.500 But I think movies like this, especially with the pushback it's gotten, it's important that everybody get out and support it and show, especially groups like Hollywood, that we're interested in these kind of properties and that we're willing to support them.
00:15:38.920 There was a bit of controversy with this.
00:15:40.880 There were some people who were suggesting that this was just a ploy to add more money to Hollywood's coffers and that these guys were all a part of it.
00:15:50.700 What's your take on that?
00:15:51.860 Well, I think what it is, if you follow Hollywood and its demise, and I was just recently in California with my family, and it's a different scene from when I was there 17 years ago on my honeymoon.
00:16:04.140 And we've seen the strikes that are going on there.
00:16:07.780 And when you go past some of the theme parks, you can see how this woke culture has really affected their bottom line.
00:16:16.360 I think as a society, people at first were very welcoming of, hey, let's be diverse.
00:16:23.220 Let's be PC.
00:16:24.320 Let's try and listen to what people have to say.
00:16:26.940 The problem with a lot of what's gone on is I think it's the old give an inch, take a mile routine to the point now where people are really fed up with the woke culture.
00:16:35.040 We've seen it with Bud Light.
00:16:36.980 We've seen it with multiple avenues of advertising at this point.
00:16:40.480 uh target another one being uh ruthlessly battered by uh the public that that are kind of out crying
00:16:47.280 saying look we've had enough we've had our fill it's time to back off a little bit um so i think
00:16:52.980 this movie was kind of portraying that hey there's better things to do in movies than these girl boss
00:16:58.980 uh all you know woke dynamic kind of films you mean like barbie well i wouldn't know because i
00:17:07.080 haven't seen it in fact i've listened to the movie my daughter watched it and i kind of just sat on
00:17:11.620 my phone but uh it's uh i think that hollywood's run out of ideas and that's part of the reason
00:17:18.360 they've pushed this agenda and i think it's starting to backfire especially again when you
00:17:21.820 look at companies like disney that are just hemorrhaging money uh to the point where even
00:17:26.340 movies like indiana jones tank at the box office so yeah um it'll be interesting to see what happens
00:17:31.200 in the future but i think this movie was a classic i think it was very well made and um i i for one
00:17:36.540 i'm happy to support it you are no stranger to cancel culture yourself my friend uh you had some
00:17:42.160 pretty hinky things happen to you through amazon the last couple of books and and this one appears
00:17:47.420 to be no different but you had a friend of yours who investigates these kind of things on the case
00:17:52.400 this time and you found out some interesting stuff yeah so so there was always this weird uh
00:17:59.900 feeling as as as our sales took out with with how the prime minister stole freedom uh we had
00:18:05.780 an absolute viral success with that book. And not to flex numbers, but when the book took off,
00:18:12.880 we sold about 50,000 copies in a two-week period. The book couldn't be kept in circulation at
00:18:19.020 Amazon in terms of printing demand. They had to actually outsource it to an outside publisher to
00:18:23.760 fulfill demand. And then all of a sudden, after going on channels like Viva Fry, the book just
00:18:30.720 plummeted 90% overnight and sales never recuperated. And after that, it dropped another 90%
00:18:37.180 seven days later from that new number. And over the last seven, eight months, I've been contacting
00:18:42.980 Amazon and trying to work with them saying, look, people are saying they're not getting their orders
00:18:47.300 fulfilled. People are saying that they're having cancellations. Are we being throttled? Is there
00:18:53.180 something going on here? They've assured me that, hey, some of these errors do happen,
00:18:57.500 but we are not doing that we're not throttling this property they said if we didn't want this
00:19:01.760 property we'd remove it from the site because it would break our terms of service but but anything
00:19:08.080 that passes our sensors is allowed to be sold on amazon and you know if you're making money we're
00:19:12.900 making money so we're certainly not doing that to your properties so this friend of this friend of
00:19:18.440 my youtube community went and did some deep diving and looked around because i'd explored every avenue
00:19:24.360 that i can and while i'm not super tech savvy um he he found out last week that uh hey there's this
00:19:31.060 book that exists um that has manipulated an algorithm on amazon by using the words unacceptable
00:19:39.080 and fringe multiple times uh in their book description and their titles the book looks
00:19:44.600 like it's been generated by like a chat gpt and it has like stick figure drawings and crayon uh
00:19:50.860 colorings on it and stuff it's made to look horrible on purpose um but it but it was done to
00:19:57.600 take us out of search algorithms and and to um push our books to the side so that i guess essentially
00:20:04.640 what amazon figured happened is that this book was created out of angst that um if they sold
00:20:10.420 a couple of copies you know having people mistake us for them then they'd make a couple bucks but at
00:20:16.860 the same time people would look at the quality of this and say well if this is what that guy's doing
00:20:21.560 i'm not going to buy it uh and it would destroy our brand as a company um so this this this book
00:20:27.160 came out about unacceptable views and it was done by an author named i am fringe and again
00:20:31.840 unacceptable fringe is my twitter handle it's my youtube it's what we put on our books um it's our
00:20:37.900 whole company so so luckily i mean amazon at this point has done um an inquiry to see if they can
00:20:44.300 file an abusive platform um or abusive terms of service with with this book to remove it so that
00:20:50.760 um our books can uh thrive again and and as they've said like they told me they said we can't
00:20:57.440 divulge numbers but we can tell you it has often been bought when people are searching your other
00:21:02.480 books um so it's probably cost us thousands if not hundreds of thousands in sales uh and just
00:21:10.540 crippled our company. So when we brought out the young kid's guide to grooming, I had a chat with
00:21:15.580 my illustrator and she kind of said, look, you know, it takes me a couple of months to draw these
00:21:19.720 up. It's a lot of work. And if we're not making any money, if our, if our, you know, readers
00:21:23.860 aren't interested in the product, I don't know if I can continue to do this. And I kind of said,
00:21:28.340 well, this'll, this'll be our stand. We'll see how we do with this one. Now that we fixed the
00:21:32.920 problem, hopefully we can get back to normal and we can start entertaining people again, but
00:21:38.180 time will tell we'll see how it goes is this not fraud can you not find this i am fringe and
00:21:44.800 charging them with fraud or sue them so that has come up multiple times since since i've made the
00:21:50.460 announcement on my youtube channel and and we've looked in so so they've published the book under
00:21:55.880 a non-existent publishing company um amazon of course has their financial information
00:22:02.720 because they have to get paid if if they make any sales or anything but of course amazon can't
00:22:08.000 disclose that they can't dox people um but we've i've done everything to look into um who these
00:22:15.460 people are where they're based out of um where this book's being made from and we can't find
00:22:21.140 anything on these people there's an email address uh on the inside cover of this book where they
00:22:26.300 copied our disclaimer that we put in all of our books so the book was set up to look like one of
00:22:31.380 ours even from the disclaimer point of view the order of things the rhyming um they really went
00:22:37.440 out they knew what they were doing it was very carefully calculated and um it's it's unfortunately
00:22:43.040 like amazon said they said we can remove it from the platform if we find it violates abuse of
00:22:48.640 platform terms uh but they said in terms of legal and again i've spoken with a lawyer he says there's
00:22:54.400 there's really not a lot you can do because they haven't really infringed on a copyright they
00:22:59.740 haven't they again they were very careful about how they constructed this so that if they were
00:23:04.920 found out they're protected um so so now we just kind of weigh our options and and i'm still going
00:23:10.340 to consult with lawyers and see what we can do but as for now it's a matter of just having a bit of a
00:23:14.880 stiff upper lip and trying to move on and uh polish the dirt off and see how we can move forward
00:23:20.240 have you had private investigators looking for these people and i understand there's not much
00:23:26.300 to go on here um not yet and again this is still fresh i mean we just found this information uh
00:23:31.540 earlier this week so um i i'm still looking into the matter and i'm still going to see what what
00:23:36.840 our avenues are um but again part of the problem is these things cost money and if if we haven't
00:23:41.780 been selling books and just put it in perspective and this isn't to make our audience feel guilty
00:23:47.580 or or or like like we haven't had support i'm very grateful for all the support we've had
00:23:52.900 over the last year from all of our readers um but when we we look at the success of how the
00:23:57.960 prime minister stole freedom one face two face sold less than 5 000 copies um the the ballot of
00:24:05.860 tamara leach sold less than 3 000 copies and we have overhead so so in order to hire investigators
00:24:12.440 to hire lawyers to do all those things money starts to add up and and unfortunately um we
00:24:19.020 we certainly can't afford to do those things here until uh we have we have the revenue to do that
00:24:24.400 but no kidding i will be that's not to say i'm not taking steps we are taking steps to try and
00:24:29.900 figure this out the best way possible is this particular book aimed at a larger audience
00:24:37.040 because the first three would have absolutely been canadiana you're talking about yeah so
00:24:41.800 you know the premise behind this book was to break out of the the canadian kind of uh again
00:24:47.580 with political realm um we wanted to appeal to a wide audience and don't get me wrong we have sold
00:24:52.380 books uh all throughout the world um especially how the prime minister stole freedom justin
00:24:57.820 trudeau he's he's hated everywhere he moves books so uh so we've sold books everywhere
00:25:04.580 um but but i wanted to appeal to a broader audience we wanted to try and get into the u.s
00:25:08.980 market um so again i've reached out to friends of the channel like viva fry and uh hopefully we can
00:25:14.840 start getting into some of those u.s markets and and and broaden our horizons a little bit
00:25:18.920 but but we do have another project on the go for hopefully for spring and again it may be our final
00:25:26.160 project depending on how sales go with this one but it's going to get back into Canadian politics
00:25:30.980 we're actually doing a parody of the classic story Good Night Moon but again it's going to
00:25:35.460 focus on politics and Justin Trudeau we're going to go back to that well and I just want to give
00:25:41.800 another one-two punch so I'm looking forward to that project and and hopefully hopefully everybody
00:25:46.840 else is too you gotta milk trudeau for as much as you can i'm thinking he's not going to be around
00:25:51.860 that much longer my friend i don't think so either but you know the problem is is that it's just too
00:25:57.540 easy and i always like a challenge but with trudeau it's like the jokes have written themselves i don't
00:26:02.720 i don't actually have to sit and think about material all i have to do is go through some
00:26:06.300 old newsreels and i've got everything i need um i think when i was in i was invited to parliament
00:26:12.500 hill last october to meet with the conservative party and sign books for them and uh i've told
00:26:18.160 people the story of when i was sitting in the galleries at question period and pierre polyev
00:26:23.480 had seen me i met with melissa lansman the night before so she seen me sitting in the galleries and
00:26:28.140 gave me a nod and you know tells pierre i'm up top and pierre leans forward during question period
00:26:33.660 this big smile and starts you know waving away and justin trudeau sees him and you know who's
00:26:38.540 he waving at and as soon as he turned around and saw me his smile went to a frown and he grabbed
00:26:43.820 everything he had and left and in the middle of question period and I had no clue that he knew
00:26:50.120 my face I knew he knew about the book but I didn't know he knew who I was and he meets a lot of
00:26:55.160 people so to know who I am right off the bat uh was not only flattering but very satisfying to
00:27:00.720 see him get up and leave so you know I almost want to make him feel bad again so so I'm looking
00:27:05.120 forward to putting out that next book amazing that he wouldn't just go oh hey good one man like i
00:27:09.780 mean that's what i would have done if you would have had a book with with my likeness and you 0.88
00:27:14.000 know you've won with it but this guy is such an arrogant narcissist that he can't stand any little
00:27:19.440 slight perceived slight against him right not at all and it was funny because at first i was i
00:27:24.180 almost felt narcissistic i said there's no way that was me that did that and as soon as i went
00:27:28.600 down through security to meet with pierre after the first thing he said to me was wow you sure
00:27:32.280 ruined his day well i'll take it i'll take it excellent my friend how do we find you on your
00:27:38.840 social media what are your handles uh well you can find me on youtube at unacceptable fringe

00:27:51.800 the week discussing politics people can find me on twitter at unaccept fringe um and they can
00:27:58.340 find our books hopefully on amazon amazon.ca derek thank you for coming on always a pleasure
00:28:04.900 to have you on my friend shadow thanks for having me on and good luck with your uh your uh canadians

00:28:29.340 enough good things about them all right brother talk to you soon thanks for having me all right
00:28:34.000 there is derrick smith the author of all of those great seuss style books including the brand new
00:28:40.440 one the young kids guide to grooming which is available now at amazon.ca for 1999 let's continue
00:28:49.060 on with some of the news of the day here uh this is from facebook sunshine house
00:28:55.260 is a trans shelter a trans support facility for trans people and yesterday they were very concerned
00:29:07.980 about the the fringe who were marching from the forks down broadway towards the legislature they
00:29:16.860 were very concerned because their counter protest was going to be outnumbered and so they wrote
00:29:22.620 this plea at 11 o'clock yesterday morning in the 11 o'clock hour today our friends and family who
00:29:30.880 were at the legislative building counter protesting the anti-trans anti-queer demonstration there
00:29:37.060 called the house with an urgent request please come down we're afraid and we need more people
00:29:43.940 hearing this
00:29:47.560 Sunshine House staff
00:29:49.380 made the collective decision to shut down
00:29:51.440 for the day and go be with our
00:29:53.440 community make no mistake
00:29:55.320 to demonstrate it now
00:29:56.780 I didn't witness
00:30:01.600 any of this
00:30:02.380 I was there
00:30:04.440 on the ground
00:30:06.420 I saw a little bit
00:30:09.540 of arguing towards the end
00:30:10.960 between one group
00:30:13.600 of people and another.
00:30:14.820 But anyway, make no mistake,
00:30:19.040 the demonstrators at the ledge 0.82
00:30:20.460 want queer people to not exist.
00:30:23.700 That's wrong. 1.00
00:30:25.560 We don't care if you exist or not.
00:30:30.420 That doesn't matter to us.
00:30:33.100 All right, so go ahead.
00:30:34.800 We've always said,
00:30:36.600 do you, will do us,
00:30:38.780 but leave children alone.
00:30:43.600 period. But let's continue. And if you erase
00:30:47.300 queer and trans people, you erase Sunshine House. We apologize for
00:30:51.320 the abrupt and unplanned closure, but this is a matter of our survival
00:30:55.600 as 2SLGB
00:30:58.420 people. So they see this as 0.82
00:31:03.260 an absolute threat to their existence. Do you see this mindset
00:31:07.340 that they have
00:31:09.300 seeped
00:31:13.600 into people who think they might be something they're not,
00:31:18.360 but they're not sure.
00:31:20.960 You know, once we got to the ledge,
00:31:27.420 we faced a stream of abuse from the anti-trans demonstrators,
00:31:33.480 including from the children in their midst
00:31:36.120 who made machine gun motions at us,
00:31:38.980 yelled slurs at us,
00:31:40.720 and threw middle fingers at us
00:31:43.600 Well, their parents observed.
00:31:45.640 Now, I can tell you, I didn't see anything like that yesterday.
00:31:53.280 I saw some arguing back and forth, like I said, but nothing like this.
00:31:58.240 Nothing.
00:31:59.080 It was horrifying to see the extent that children are being trained and taught to hate.
00:32:08.080 I don't even know what to say here.
00:32:09.900 i mean if if this is really how they see things
00:32:17.560 then there is not going to be any discussion there is no bridge
00:32:24.580 that can close that chasm between these two groups of people if it's lying then there's a chance
00:32:34.280 feelings pass and tomorrow is another day and so is sunday when we'll be back at the ledge
00:32:41.520 at 11 a.m for the rally for trans youth we'll return to the front line and put our bodies in
00:32:46.840 between queer and trans kids and the people who want to destroy them and we invite you to join us 0.53
00:32:51.160 well i don't recall hearing about any plan to counter protest them you see this is the thing 0.75
00:32:56.900 they have been doing rallies for years now without any counters but the second somebody
00:33:05.200 who opposes them wants to do something themselves they feel it's necessary to show up
00:33:11.120 because their lives are at risk do you do you see how badly these people have been
00:33:18.740 brainwashed and indoctrinated it's incredible to me it's it is cult-like because none
00:33:26.820 none of that is is true at all none of it now this is going to be difficult to listen to and
00:33:34.400 to watch it's 94 seconds this is from your canadian house of commons yesterday
00:33:43.200 Mr. Speaker, as Canadians, we should be making sure that all our kids feel safe, loved, and
00:33:57.960 supported. Our service blocked an NDP motion calling on all Canadian leaders to condemn
00:34:02.260 this rising tide of hate and violence. Will the Liberals join New Democrats in condemning
00:34:06.420 this anti-2SLGBTQI plus hate by supporting our motion when it comes back to the House?
00:34:11.720 Will they join us in demonstrating that Canada is truly a country where there's no space for hate?
00:34:19.020 The Honourable Minister for Diversity.
00:34:35.820 All the Conservatives are still sitting.
00:34:37.880 And a special thank you to the member across for his work, his advocacy, and his lived experience.
00:34:45.540 Absolutely, we stand with trans and queer youth.
00:34:48.580 And as I reflect on what has happened outside these walls today, the marches that we see,
00:34:54.920 I remind everybody that as a parent, I understand the need for parents to be at the center of their kids' lives.
00:35:01.540 but i also very much understand the need to center trans and queer kids and make sure that
00:35:12.180 they are heard make sure that they have safe those kids we're with you we hear you i have
00:35:18.800 spoken to them across the honorable member all right that's that's enough of that we don't know
00:35:23.680 what the conservatives said there hopefully they said something constructive like hey hey hey hey
00:35:29.520 You know, the parents need to know what the hell's going on here.
00:35:32.060 First things first.
00:35:33.520 Before anything else.
00:35:34.400 Before we talk about anything else.
00:35:36.300 The parents need to know what is going on.
00:35:40.920 And then they have to give their consent.
00:35:42.360 Yes or no.
00:35:44.520 And if a kid wants to go through gender-affirming surgery when they're 18 years old, have at it. 0.77
00:35:49.880 Go ahead.
00:35:50.760 But I don't believe any of that should be government-funded.
00:35:54.400 Not one bit of it.
00:35:58.600 uh this is another one of the editorials written by our friend brad salzberg of the
00:36:07.340 cultural action party of canada where he says in canada parental values where parental values are
00:36:13.460 far right let me make a one thing perfectly clear you know whenever i whenever i impersonate trudeau
00:36:26.080 i feel the testosterone seeping from my body so i'm going to have to try my best to to not do this
00:36:36.520 transphobia homophobia and biphobia have no place in this country biphobia what what's that now 0.99
00:36:47.280 you're bisexual i'm scared of you like what is going on here they're making shit up at this 1.00
00:36:55.600 point. Pardon my language. Bringing forth a relevant question, what forms of intolerance 1.00
00:37:03.160 have a place in this country? Intolerance being a two-way street, as far as the Canadian Action
00:37:09.640 Party can tell. The big three, government, media, and Canadian academia, have little to no tolerance
00:37:17.300 for certain segments of our society. Heterosexuality is certainly low on their charts.
00:37:24.440 Christianity off-limits. Conservatism in all its forms is perpetually belittled by the powers that 0.99
00:37:31.380 be. In their stead come postmodern values, quote-unquote, as perpetuated by the controlling
00:37:37.560 institutions of Canada. Euthanasia to rid unwanted elderly Canadians posing a burden on health care. 0.84
00:37:45.520 Abortion limits reproduction of natural-born Canadians. Transgenderism sterilizes youth, 1.00
00:37:51.420 transitioning them to sexless beings incapable of human reproduction. So-called conspiracy 1.00
00:37:59.260 thinkers refer to such measures as population control, of which the government of China
00:38:04.120 stand as innovators. To make up for a population shortfall, a fact with which government had five
00:38:12.040 decades to rectify, is dealt with through a panacea our liberal government call immigration
00:38:19.320 policy panacea sorry over the next three decades these circumstances are certain to transition
00:38:26.160 white canadians into minority communities notice how mainstream media never breathe a word about
00:38:31.960 this it's entirely planned and premeditated in 2023 our liberal government prop up the media
00:38:39.740 industry by providing them with billions of dollars annually cbc alone receive a bursary
00:38:45.440 of 1.2 million dollars per year 1.3 actually brad all this results in the canada we live in
00:38:52.800 at present government has with full intent fragmented society into distinct divisions
00:38:58.720 largely based on ideological beliefs also known as societal values canada is today a society 0.98
00:39:06.800 divided within this context lgbt and its transgender offshoot stand at the pinnacle 0.97
00:39:13.520 of social divisiveness in many respects it comes down to a matter of values both personal as well 0.94
00:39:20.140 as within a larger societal framework in terms of government endorsed and financed lgbt rights
00:39:26.600 the overall vibe coming from canada's woke warrior contingent can be summarized by the following
00:39:31.920 parental values are far right did you hear that parental rights are now a far right political
00:39:41.780 issue, as stated by Justin Trudeau. It may be that the prime minister didn't mean to disparage
00:39:48.880 millions of parents by lumping them in with other far-right radicals like white supremacists and 0.96
00:39:53.660 fascists, but that he did so speaks to his tendency to shoot from the lip. One thing that can be held 0.84
00:40:00.500 as a truism stands as follows. Never do mainstream media speak of ideological sources for such a
00:40:07.080 twisted position. To be sure, LGBT politics are a postmodern phenomenon. A look back in history 1.00
00:40:14.640 delivers no precedent for the movement. Tossed aside by media is the fact that from an ideological
00:40:20.400 point of view, tangible precedents do indeed exist. All of them are found within authoritarian
00:40:26.660 societies. Communist China, Cuba, the former Soviet Union, as pertinent examples. Leaders of
00:40:34.360 communist revolutions of the 20th century, Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro, Joseph Stalin, advanced
00:40:40.700 family-oriented ideologues rooted in Marxist philosophy, ideologies, I mean. The family unit
00:40:48.600 and therefore children are properties of the state. The very same value system is today advocated by
00:40:56.720 LGBT activists as supported by Canadian government, media, and academia. We begin to recognize the
00:41:03.680 parallels, not viewers of CBC or readers of the Globe and Mail, but rather a community of astute
00:41:09.640 political observers who have exercised due diligence in getting to the root of the socialist
00:41:14.420 assault on Canadian society. Western values generally include unity of family, freedom of
00:41:20.120 speech, freedom of the press, democratic governance, rule of law, civil rights, individual liberties,
00:41:25.860 right to protest, freedom of religion, etc. Marxist values generally include submission to the state,
00:41:32.560 no private property ownership anti-capitalism cultural relativism dissolution of class
00:41:38.780 structure social revolution let us consider these values within the context of lgbt activism in
00:41:45.840 canadian society particularly as they apply to our country throughout the eight-year period
00:41:51.120 in which justin trudeau has ruled our nation lgbt transitions responsibility for children
00:41:59.080 from parents to the state our liberal government intercept or sorry internet censorship laws
00:42:05.160 eradicate freedom of speech while private property ownership exists it's more difficult than ever for
00:42:11.260 Canadians to afford a home as a result of carbon taxation and farmland fertilizer impediments
00:42:17.020 affording farmland in Canada is now more difficult than ever during a three-year run of COVID as 0.94
00:42:23.420 disseminated by China individual freedoms were sublimated by our federal government the right 0.91
00:42:28.740 to protest publicly. A standard of Western democracy was met with militancy by Trudeau
00:42:34.060 and the liberals, including a charter breaching freezing of bank accounts for a number of citizens
00:42:39.480 who participated. COVID also brought erosion of rule of law, whereby invocation of the Emergencies
00:42:46.040 Act by the Trudeau government temporarily suspended a fundamental of democracy. Again,
00:42:52.140 with China's COVID, freedom of religion was suspended as it applies to Christian communities.
00:42:57.300 Pastors were arrested and imprisoned on trumped-up charges.
00:43:00.920 Christians in China have been persecuted for decades.
00:43:04.680 Any of this ring a bell?
00:43:06.920 It's what we describe not eerily reminiscent of authoritarian states of the 20th century history.
00:43:12.400 In every case of communist revolution and totalitarian political seduction,
00:43:18.920 government-sponsored programs exist which set their sights on youth populations within their society.
00:43:26.620 In an effort to return China to its communist roots, Chairman Mao Zedong turned to the youth
00:43:31.860 of the country to help start the Cultural Revolution. Mao called on young people, the
00:43:36.460 Red Guard, to take down leading intellectuals, party leaders, and their own parents.
00:43:44.180 Talk about scoring a bullseye.
00:43:47.900 Too bad, erudite intellectuals and media don't think so. Not once have Canadian eyeballs
00:43:53.820 stood witness to any form of theorizing that falls into an historical analysis of the development of
00:43:59.480 neo-socialism in Canada. We draw our conclusion eight years of Justin Trudeau as prime minister,
00:44:06.380 eight years of undermining of freedom and democracy, eight years of erosion of freedom
00:44:11.160 of expression, eight years of covert transition from democracy to pseudo-dictatorship, eight years
00:44:17.500 of establishment media cover-up of the entire phenomenon. LGBT and its various permutations fit
00:44:24.500 neatly into a 50-year socialist seduction of Canadian society. Keep in mind that communists 0.91
00:44:30.920 always play the long game, as China does in terms of its geopolitical seduction of western nations
00:44:36.660 like Canada. LGBT slash transgenderism is in no manner an organic development. The movement is 0.72
00:44:46.440 a socialist construct designed to undermine western values parental rights are far right
00:44:52.060 this media propaganda just because the far left say so in no way makes it factual pitting community
00:44:59.980 against community canada's woke revolution continues to divide society into opposing
00:45:05.620 factions karl marx would have been deeply impressed speaking of karl marx there's this
00:45:15.500 party in Canada, with provincial factions throughout the nation called the New Democratic
00:45:21.700 Party, or the NDP. And they have power right now in one province and one province alone,
00:45:28.780 and that would be British Columbia, where things seem a little bit more left than anywhere
00:45:35.460 else in the country. Well, it could be that very soon Manitoba will be one of them as
00:45:45.800 well. There's a new poll out today by Probe Research that shows the NDP leading the progressive
00:45:52.380 conservatives by a wide margin. Now, in the city of Winnipeg, where 32 of the 57 total
00:46:00.020 legislative seats are centered. The NDP leads right now in 30 of those ridings. The PC lead
00:46:11.160 in two. Sorry, make that one. The Liberals lead in one as well, the Manitoba Liberal Party.
00:46:16.980 Of the rest, there are 25 seats in rural Manitoba. The PCs lead in 23 of those ridings.
00:46:23.820 the NDP lead in two
00:46:27.280 this means that it looks like
00:46:31.000 the NDP will have 32 of the 57 seats
00:46:34.540 giving them a majority government in Manitoba
00:46:37.620 I suggest
00:46:40.480 that Alberta and Saskatchewan
00:46:43.740 in the next couple of months
00:46:45.100 probably should think about some sort of weird
00:46:48.580 migrational shift of people
00:46:51.740 into their provinces
00:46:52.900 maybe 200 000 manitobans will be fleeing this province and of course i'm just guessing at
00:47:02.600 that number it could be much lower people may stay and fight back i don't know most people
00:47:07.940 don't even know what the hell anyway but you can guarantee if the ndp wins power in this election
00:47:14.500 that all of the soji curriculums will be in place and they will be protected 0.75
00:47:19.360 with diligence they will be promoted and anybody who says anything about them will be shunned
00:47:27.560 and possibly even arrested i heard of some arrests for hate at these protests yesterday
00:47:35.980 across the country well you can bet the ndp would absolutely love it if some people yesterday
00:47:42.940 who showed up peacefully to protect parental rights,
00:47:48.040 the NDP would love it if some of those people were arrested for hate crimes.
00:47:54.400 That would scare the rest of the province into submission,
00:47:58.900 and that's what they want.
00:48:00.100 The NDP has been controlling things, at least partially anyway,
00:48:03.140 through their bureaucratic allegiances for the last eight years.
00:48:07.900 You see, it's the bureaucrats that control the province that you live in
00:48:11.640 or the country that you live in or the town or city or municipality you live in the politicians
00:48:17.860 a lot of times are asleep at the wheel they have no idea what's really going on it's the bureaucrats
00:48:24.320 the deputy ministers these are the people who are running the show and depending upon who they're
00:48:30.420 loyal to politically speaking that's the way things are going to go not what the ruling party
00:48:36.800 says unless of course the ruling party is one in the same with the deputy minister's ideology
00:48:45.280 in manitoba the ruling party's ideology or sorry the ruling party's uh policies have
00:48:51.440 gone against their left-wing ideology for the last eight years but with the ndp and power
00:48:59.040 things will get bad bad really bad very very quickly manitoba's two major political parties
00:49:06.560 say they would not repeat COVID-19 lockdowns interesting interesting the NDP would say that
00:49:11.780 I think they're lying but uh that's what they're both saying here is an update on the Tamara Leach
00:49:17.420 Chris Barber trial today from Patriot Smoothie in Ottawa hey it's Patriot Smoothie here at the
00:49:22.840 Ottawa courthouse at the end of day 12 of the trial of Tamara Leach and Chris Barber a lot of
00:49:27.520 things happening here very fluid situation this afternoon we heard the uh the rest or more of the
00:49:33.640 testimony from mr arpin who is a former chief of staff to former ottawa mayor jim watson
00:49:38.460 he testified about a few things about these walks that he took again more walks what is it with the
00:49:44.420 last two witnesses mr kim i ought and now mr uh mr arpin about these walks and the defense
00:49:50.000 objecting multiple points saying that they never heard about these walks that these walks weren't
00:49:53.820 disclosed to them that there's no notes about these walks these walks these recon walks uh the
00:49:58.060 three that mr i ought might have taken and then the five or six that this last this current witness
00:50:03.160 Mr. Arpin had it taken in contention by the defense.
00:50:06.960 By the way, before we...
00:50:07.980 If you want to support the work I'm doing down here at the courthouse,
00:50:13.720 please consider sending me an e-transfer at my e-transfer address,
00:50:17.340 realpatriotsmoothie at protonmail.com.
00:50:19.480 You'll see that at the bottom of the screen.
00:50:21.060 Just a tremendous amount of information and struggles that we have to go through here
00:50:25.000 to get the story out.
00:50:27.080 As you know, so Mr. Arpin testifying today about his walks.
00:50:31.280 He was testifying about things like he felt very uncomfortable down there.
00:50:35.340 Big objection from the defense on that point.
00:50:37.560 Mr. Arpin asked to leave the courtroom at that point.
00:50:40.760 And the defense is discussing with the crown and the court about that, saying that feelings don't lead to facts.
00:50:46.340 The court ultimately deciding that, you know, there's some things that he could be asked, not that question specifically, but there are things he could be asked about these walks that may lead to more facts.
00:50:55.300 But the bulk of his testimony surrounded the crafting of this February 12th letter or February 13th letter, the letter from the office of Jim Watson, the mayor, to the convoy, to Tamara Leach, where they believe they were addressing the broad center of the convoy, the people with moderate beliefs, the one who were there to end the mandates.
00:51:14.200 And they were not interested, the mayor was not interested in addressing anybody with any other issues and, in fact, was using a Mr. Steve French, who was formerly with the Premier's Office of Ontario, to liaise between the mayor's office themselves and the Freedom Convoy.
00:51:27.320 And they believed after several back and forths with this, several back and forths with this individual, Mr. French, that they had reached a an agreement on some of the premises is that they were going to that the mayor had that they weren't wasting their time in trying to do this and try to broker this deal with the moderate broad center of the Freedom Convoy there to demonstrate to end the mandates.
00:51:47.000 And they felt that this deal could actually do something productive.
00:51:50.040 so again uh sorry i'm just gonna have to cut this maybe because uh something's gonna happen here
00:51:55.420 just give me a second and we'll come back when that ends sorry again the mental health situation
00:52:00.440 here in ottawa just completely very sad very sad total failure from all levels of government
00:52:05.020 dealing with this issue but that's just the everyday down here and that's just part and
00:52:08.840 parcel of living in ottawa or any city or any town anywhere in the world at this point that's where
00:52:14.020 we're at folks it's very sad um but all that notwithstanding i'm going to continue now so
00:52:19.220 were talking about Mr. Arpin and how he brokered this deal with Mr. French using him and eventually
00:52:24.740 he's the one who drafted the letter from Jim Watson and then he said an administrator in the
00:52:28.880 office stamped it and they sent this letter to Tamara Leach where they would negotiate moving
00:52:33.900 these trucks on to Wellington. Very interesting. He was asked by the defense about that letter and
00:52:39.100 his thinking and he said in contrary to previous testimony that we've heard from other people
00:52:43.820 that he was told by city officials including Kim Ayotte that there was enough room on Wellington
00:52:47.940 and for the majority of the vehicles to go there.
00:52:50.940 And that's very interesting to note that.
00:52:54.620 Also hearing, also again,
00:52:57.080 that discussion between himself and Mr. French
00:52:59.220 and the convoy and the reply letter
00:53:01.640 they got from Tamara Leach,
00:53:02.560 which they believe all this was in good faith
00:53:04.160 and not wasting their time.
00:53:05.780 That's why they went through so many steps
00:53:06.960 with Mr. French so that they didn't feel
00:53:08.260 like they were wasting their time
00:53:09.160 and even sending this letter.
00:53:10.920 And they felt that the first day,
00:53:13.740 they said that if they could move 24 trucks in a morning,
00:53:16.560 it would be a productive day.
00:53:17.680 And in the first day, we know that they moved 40 heavy trucks and 102 vehicles in all.
00:53:22.760 Approximately 25% of the vehicles that were in the residential areas out of there and onto Wellington.
00:53:27.620 And their position was that, okay, it could go onto Wellington and out of the city.
00:53:31.580 But as long as it's alleviating those concerns from residents and the complaints that residents are giving them.
00:53:36.940 So really tremendous there that we heard that.
00:53:41.460 And not a whole lot else going on this afternoon.
00:53:43.520 If you want the details, again, just check out my threads on X.
00:53:46.260 More accurate play-by-play.
00:53:47.680 Also some discussion about what's going on, the judge saying that she does not think she can make a decision on the admissions to argument that exclusion of eight witnesses tomorrow, saying that there has been considerable arguments by the Defense Council and the Crown Council and that they need to that she her decision needs to reflect the amount of time that went into crafting those arguments.
00:54:05.440 So she does not believe she can make the admissions to decision tomorrow.
00:54:08.760 Also hearing about the future, how the schedule is going to move along as tomorrow we're only sitting until one o'clock on Friday, September 22nd for day 13.
00:54:16.540 And then we will break until October 10th.
00:54:18.560 I believe I'll get back to you on that and we'll be back for two weeks.
00:54:21.260 And defense counsel for Barbara expressing that there's a tremendous cost in coming back and forth from Ottawa to where he resides across the country.
00:54:27.800 And that maybe he may want to use Zoom if this becomes a piecemeal process.
00:54:32.500 and the judge saying piecemeal process i guess day here day there three days on five days off
00:54:37.640 is not good for anyone and that they're trying to get the time as best they can but they may
00:54:41.260 have to go forward to a jpc the crown saying that that's going to to that as soon as they can agree
00:54:45.800 between the different council parties as to you know the the the the obstacles the different and
00:54:51.220 the different uh restrictions that different councillors have based on other matters they
00:54:54.180 have planned at this point before they can get to that and agree on the rest of the time but
00:54:57.560 they're hoping the crown is hoping that they can get that estimate of the talent at the time that
00:55:01.920 they think they'll need back to the other parties in a reasonable amount of time and that that could
00:55:06.440 be decided. So anyways, from Ottawa, I'm Patriot Smoothie. Thanks for watching.
00:55:11.260 You know, it's a shame.
00:55:14.040 Joining us now from his perspective is former Canadian ambassador, Harif Lund.
00:55:17.900 Very high costs for us.
00:55:20.020 Why don't these things just shut off on their own once they're done? They just skip right to the
00:55:26.020 next thing. I know there's a setting on it. You can stop that from happening, but I thought I had.
00:55:30.140 anyway it's a shame that a guy like patriot smoothie who's doing such a great job covering
00:55:36.880 this trial in a fair way has to put up with that kind of aggravation out there in the streets of
00:55:42.600 ottawa now i understand that some left-wing corporate media people had to suffer through that
00:55:47.280 a couple of years ago when when there were guys who were walking up behind them yelling
00:55:52.400 some awful things but by and large that's not something that happens
00:55:58.040 until of course independent media gets involved then you've got and that that was probably that 0.58
00:56:03.580 woman who's been riding her tricycle up and down the street on wellington there by the courthouse 0.95
00:56:07.800 in ottawa for the past couple of weeks going but then again that's what we can expect from the
00:56:15.600 antifas out there okay beth and nodwell i know that you have been trying to reach me and i will
00:56:23.340 definitely give you a call in the next couple of days regarding a possible visit by christine
00:56:29.140 anderson to manitoba although i will tell you this i don't know if that's such a good idea at
00:56:35.420 this stage of the game christine anderson i'd love to see her and i'm sure there's all kinds
00:56:40.960 of people who would love to see her but if the NDP wins this election in the next couple of weeks
00:56:46.620 I don't know there's going to be a place that would take her in Winnipeg like an actual hall
00:56:54.980 or area that we could have her in but anyway you know because they feel like well we're going to
00:57:02.580 be shunned and the government would absolutely object to us doing this and so we're just going
00:57:07.960 to have to wait and see on that but i will give you a call in the next couple of days christine 0.87
00:57:11.580 anderson could be coming back to winnipeg in a couple of months here she is a couple of days ago 1.00
00:57:16.740 in the european parliament watch we just need to find a way to uh wake the people up because
00:57:23.880 the point is simply this it comes down to a choice it's either freedom democracy and the rule of law
00:57:33.300 or enslavement there is no such thing in between there is no such thing as a little freedom a
00:57:43.340 little democracy a little rule of law just as there is no such thing as a little enslavement
00:57:52.800 so that's that's the choice it comes down to it's either the globalitarian misanthropists
00:58:02.920 or the people it comes down to it's either us or them and that's i think what this really is all
00:58:16.460 about now when my colleagues and i were elected to this parliament there was no question about it
00:58:25.100 We were on the side of the people because the people actually pay us to act in their best interest.
00:58:37.160 That's our job.
00:58:39.780 And once again, I will say to every single elected representative around the world, to every single member in every elected government around the world,
00:58:51.340 If you do not unequivocally stand with the people and serve in their best interest, act in their best interest, you have no place in any parliament or in any government.
00:59:08.720 you belong behind bars 0.99
00:59:13.560 you may even rot in hell 1.00
00:59:17.220 for all I care at this point 1.00
00:59:20.120 because that's exactly what you deserve
00:59:22.800 if you sell out the people
00:59:25.180 now I would like to make a promise
00:59:35.780 to the people, and I'm pretty sure I can speak
00:59:39.080 or speak on behalf of my colleagues.
00:59:42.160 We will continue to stand with you, the people.
00:59:48.040 We will continue to fight for freedom, democracy,
00:59:51.940 and the rule of law.
00:59:53.360 We will not shut up.
00:59:55.920 And we will not stop going after 0.84
00:59:59.460 those despicable globalitarian misanthropists.
01:00:05.780 But we would also like to have you make a promise to us.
01:00:13.280 You may have heard, it's all coming back.
01:00:16.880 The first countries are already starting about talking mass mandates in Israel.
01:00:21.520 They're already imposing it.
01:00:23.260 I've heard of a few universities in the United States.
01:00:25.980 They're already bringing it all back.
01:00:30.000 And I would really like for you, the people, to not go along.
01:00:40.400 Simply say no.
01:00:44.100 They want you to wear a mask? Say no.
01:00:47.060 They want you to put in another mRNA shot? Say no.
01:00:51.200 They want to impose a curfew on you? Say no.
01:00:56.020 That's really all you have to do.
01:00:57.700 and might not be or might sound a little little hard but it's actually not that hard
01:01:04.420 because once you've made it clear to them that you will no longer go along once you've let them
01:01:12.600 know they cannot scare you anymore because as long as you're afraid of what they might do
01:01:20.540 If you don't comply, they have power over you.
01:01:24.520 Take the power away from them.
01:01:28.520 Simply say no.
01:01:31.320 Once you do that, they don't have power over you anymore.
01:01:36.600 You will feel so free.
01:01:39.500 Simply say no.
01:01:43.060 And considering what we've heard today,
01:01:46.240 and considering what we've seen in the last three years,
01:01:49.680 considering what we know they want to implement,
01:01:55.620 heck, you might even be well within your right 0.99
01:02:00.260 to tell them to screw themselves and go to hell. 1.00
01:02:05.840 That's where they belong. 1.00
01:02:08.380 What will you get out of that?
01:02:10.460 I can tell you. 0.99
01:02:11.320 Once you've done that, once you've told them to just go to hell,
01:02:16.240 they no longer have power over you,
01:02:18.080 you will have an incredible feeling kind of like a sensation of freedom will swap through your body
01:02:27.240 I promise you will feel so relieved and this is the state of mind that I would ask all of you
01:02:36.060 to get to simply don't let them grind you down anymore you are worth it you are deserving of 0.99
01:02:46.120 just standing up for yourselves and tell them all to go to hell thank you very much go to hell 0.90
01:02:54.820 hang on a minute all right um i'm gonna get to this in just a second the plant-based treaty but 1.00
01:03:01.840 let's let's all say it together go to hell
01:03:05.680 you know it's interesting we see that very thing that christine there was talking about 0.98
01:03:15.860 you know just tell them no freedom we're politicians we work for the people we don't
01:03:22.600 work for what did she call them globalist misanthropes globalitarian who's good
01:03:30.640 but think of any tv show or movie that you've seen about oppression who are always the good
01:03:40.140 guys and who were always the bad guys what's the first one that comes to mind for me the walking
01:03:45.600 dead all right so we're in a post-apocalyptic world where uh most of the population is dead
01:03:51.940 or they've turned into zombies but we still have some human beings walking around out there
01:03:56.420 and these are the people who are going to form the new societies so what have you got
01:04:02.520 with these new societies you got a lot of tin pot dictators running around out there take
01:04:08.160 Negan for example in The Walking Dead the way he ran his the saviors was a dictatorship
01:04:16.020 complete and total if somebody stepped out of line they got their head thrown into an oven
01:04:21.060 or an iron in the face you know terrible terrible punishments right but that's how he kept people
01:04:28.500 in line he did get the job done but what was the cost people had to give up their souls
01:04:33.800 some guys had to give up their wives so Negan could marry them and sleep with them that's the 0.98
01:04:39.380 kind of crap that is the bad guy where the good guys are you know like we're running a 0.99
01:04:47.180 you know democracy here we're living in a prison but I'm not the one running it we have a council 0.99
01:04:53.640 those are the good guys every other every other television show or movie that you've seen
01:05:02.080 think of one write it down in the comments
01:05:06.920 the oppressors are never the good guys it just doesn't happen like that who wants to go see
01:05:15.620 theo fleury and jamie soleil and me and joseph borgo and winkler tomorrow night you got to be
01:05:19.900 watching on facebook you say i want those tickets do it right now right now in the comments i'm
01:05:25.800 going to pick somebody in the next 60 seconds to win those comments uh tickets not comments
01:05:31.160 who cares about winning comments how do you even win comments here you go you've won 50 comments
01:05:36.820 ridiculous all right let's bring up the plant-based treaty you may have been hearing
01:05:42.620 about this a lot in the last couple of days or so and this is kind of alarming there was a story 0.81
01:05:48.240 out of denver last night that the mayor of denver is signed into this treaty
01:05:52.540 which essentially bans meat and clothing the mayor of london in the uk has already signed
01:05:59.720 into this who wants that you got to be within you know a decent driving distance of Winkler is the
01:06:04.660 thing right so let me see airfare no Cora no it does not include airfare it does not
01:06:14.300 all right random random I am just gonna I'm closing my eyes I'm picking somebody right now
01:06:23.780 I picked this one.
01:06:30.780 That's not what I was after.
01:06:39.140 Okay.
01:06:50.060 Okay.
01:06:52.860 Yeah, we'll come to Ottawa one of these days, Chris.
01:06:55.300 Absolutely.
01:06:56.000 Ann Nickel.
01:06:56.940 There you go.
01:06:57.560 Ann.
01:06:58.180 Ann.
01:06:59.180 Do you live near Winkler within a decent driving distance from it?
01:07:03.100 Ann, congratulations.
01:07:04.420 You've won the tickets to see Theo and Jamie and Joseph and myself tomorrow night.
01:07:08.420 If you want to buy tickets, go to canadiansfortruth.ca.
01:07:11.960 They're like $25 a pop.
01:07:13.360 It's reasonable.
01:07:14.020 There's a pre-show and a post-show gathering,
01:07:17.220 so you have a chance to get your picture taken with Jamie Saleh, Theo Fleury, me, whatever else.
01:07:23.200 If you want to bring a hockey stick or a jersey or something for them to sign, you can do that, too.
01:07:28.920 Congratulations, Ann Nickel.
01:07:30.800 Please send me an email so we can get you set up for your tickets.
01:07:33.920 It's shadowdavis at gmail.com, S-H-A-D-O-E-D-A-V-I-S at gmail.com.
01:07:40.880 And congratulations to you, Anne.
01:07:43.080 All right, this is the plant-based treaty you've been hearing so much about right from their website, plantbasedtreaty.org.
01:07:51.240 There are apparently mayors all over the world signing this.
01:07:54.020 This has to do with the C-40 thing that you guys have heard about as well.
01:07:57.060 the negotiation of a plant-based treaty as a companion to the unfccc paris agreement this
01:08:04.760 obviously is to keep the climate under control because there's an emergency
01:08:09.360 would put food systems at the forefront of combating the climate crisis modeled on the
01:08:15.600 popular fossil fuel treaty i don't know how popular it is the plant-based treaty aims to
01:08:21.280 halt the widespread degraduation of critical ecosystems caused by animal agriculture and to
01:08:27.240 promote a shift to healthier, sustainable plant-based diets. Here we go. Here it is.
01:08:35.740 Oh, and by the way, I understand the city of Winnipeg has postponed the vote on signing this
01:08:40.600 treaty by three months. So if you live in Winnipeg, you now have a chance to speak to your city
01:08:46.540 counselor about not signing this treaty because it's a pile of garbage the treaty plant-based
01:08:52.820 treaty supporters have endorsed the call for a negotiation of a global plant-based treaty
01:08:57.600 including three core principles and 39 proposals as outlined below demand one stop the problem
01:09:04.740 increasing no land use this is where all of those land use bylaws we've seen lately have come up
01:09:10.900 This is it right here.
01:09:40.900 protection of indigenous peoples their land rights and knowledge ban all live exports no new large
01:09:48.480 scale industrial fishing vessels demand to eliminate the driving forces behind the problem
01:09:54.480 promotion of plant-based foods and actively transition away from animal-based food systems
01:09:59.580 to plant-based systems declare a climate emergency
01:10:03.420 join the 1900 plus local governments in 34 different countries that have already done so
01:10:11.480 that's on their website declare a climate emergency address the methane emergency
01:10:20.240 according to the united nations 0.3 degrees centigrade rise could be averted by 2045 if
01:10:27.680 methane emissions were cut by 45 percent this decade as the leading source of human-caused
01:10:33.420 methane emissions a transition away from animal agriculture to a sustainable plant-based blah
01:10:38.480 blah blah food security should be placed as a priority for all nations with a focus on ending
01:10:44.020 poverty and hunger and making nutritious food accessible for all crickets
01:10:48.140 acknowledge and support the pivotal role small farmers have in feeding the planet support them
01:10:54.760 to maintain or restore autonomy over their lands water seeds and other resources calculate greenhouse
01:10:59.640 gas emissions based on consumption and that means your carbon footprint is going to follow you
01:11:05.600 everywhere and if it's too big oh you in trouble brother prioritize the switch to plant-based foods
01:11:15.300 and climate action plans update government food and dietary guidelines to promote whole food
01:11:19.920 plant-based food design public information campaigns to look at all this and then they
01:11:26.400 want to restore if you guys want to see this it's plantbasedtreaty.org share it out there i'm going
01:11:34.540 to leave a link for you in rumble and on facebook so you guys can go ahead and share this out there
01:11:42.080 have a look for yourself in the comment section on rumble there it is right there and on facebook
01:11:51.180 in the comment section as well for you guys on x again plantbasedtreaty.org plantbasedtreaty.org
01:12:02.020 so i'm not sure if you've heard this
01:12:05.580 but since trudeau got back from india another disastrous trip he's now saying
01:12:13.680 that the indian government is responsible for murdering a canadian citizen
01:12:20.960 an absolutely insane conspiracy theory and another new one today trudeau cabinet minister
01:12:30.420 implies India wanted to assassinate him by sabotaging his plane.
01:12:36.140 Watch this.
01:12:37.120 Sabotage has been ruled out in the technical issue in Canada's plane
01:12:39.820 on his trip to India.
01:12:43.020 I'm not going to comment on that.
01:12:44.460 There are obviously ongoing concerns.
01:12:46.920 I'm also focused on replacing those planes
01:12:49.340 because we've already made that step.
01:12:51.520 But you're not commenting on if there's any potential sabotage
01:12:54.560 that left the plane on that runway.
01:12:56.940 I've got to run off to something, but I want to finish.
01:12:59.340 Avatar has been ruled out and the technical issue in Canada is playing on his trip to India.
01:13:04.820 Remember, it was an implication, not an admission.
01:13:10.340 So they're formulating their conspiracy theories.
01:13:13.560 We got to distract from something. 0.99
01:13:15.560 India, the government of India, they're murderers. 0.94
01:13:19.460 One of the founders of Greenpeace is Dr. Patrick Moore. 0.70
01:13:22.460 I have been trying to get this guy on the show and one of these days I will succeed.
01:13:25.840 In the meantime, here is a video of Dr. Moore talking about our government banning nitrogen fertilizer under the banner of net zero, like I just told you about in this plant treaty that they're talking about.
01:13:39.440 It will cause mass food shortages, starvation and genocide.
01:13:43.660 Watch what he says here.
01:13:44.880 I don't know where they get this idea that there's too much nitrogen in the soil or in the water.
01:13:51.280 Nitrogen is, again, one of the building blocks of life.
01:13:54.540 and and just like with carbon dioxide and so you you've got now netherlands the the the president
01:14:03.040 or prime minister whatever he is of netherlands is saying they have to have make make a third of
01:14:08.940 their animals go away uh which provides a lot of the manure for fertilizing the crops and then
01:14:15.540 they are also going to ban part of the nitrogen fertilizer for the crops and as i mentioned
01:14:19.860 earlier, that the process of making synthetic ammonia is why there are many more billions of
01:14:26.660 people alive today than there would have been if that hadn't happened. Those two Nobel prizes that
01:14:31.720 were given to Dr. Haber and Bosch, Haber invented the process and Bosch built it up to an industrial
01:14:38.820 scale. So millions of tons of fertilizer could be produced around the world. And all farmers in the
01:14:46.220 world are dependent on this fertilizer for making their crops grow faster and and bigger and so if
01:14:52.320 this if this cascades like netherlands is getting a little close to home it's happening in western
01:14:56.660 europe that leaders of governments are banning fertilizer and as i say uh corb lund has a great
01:15:06.420 country singer in canada has a song about have you ever seen a a child who hasn't eaten in 18 days
01:15:14.700 and uh you know we can live without food for longer than we can without water and we can
01:15:20.960 live without water long longer than we can without air but there is a limit with food too and mass
01:15:28.040 starvation is not a pretty thing and it's happened all through human history we haven't had much of
01:15:32.260 it lately because we've been on a roll in terms of technology and agricultural innovation and
01:15:38.500 producing more food and doubled the population like we see but that doesn't necessarily go on
01:15:44.640 forever and it would be a shame if it was a self-inflicted wound uh oh it's okay okay let's
01:15:51.340 not let's at least not shoot ourselves in in the midsection here uh that's what i see happening
01:15:58.360 and food shortages are not something that are easily caught up with there are such things as
01:16:03.580 seasons and there are such things as how much you can grow in a certain area of land and if you don't
01:16:09.500 have fertilizer you're only going to get half as much and pretty soon the store shelves are going
01:16:14.440 to start being empty in some parts of the world and hopefully we're we're in a we're in a much
01:16:19.580 better position in north america than most other places in the world in many ways all right now a
01:16:28.060 lot of people are suggesting to me you got to get patrick moore guys like that on he's on patrick
01:16:32.960 bet david he's on other bigger shows joe rogan and whatnot now guys if you want me to get these
01:16:39.160 types of personalities on the show i'll try but you've got to help me getting this show out there
01:16:47.740 so we grow the audience so those guys see that oh oh wait a minute i'm going to get up in front of
01:16:53.260 20 000 people here i think that that would be a worthwhile thing to do so i know many of you
01:17:00.520 have taken ownership of the shadow at night live stream and you share it every night and i thank
01:17:06.480 you for that. Now it's time. If we want to truly make this thing grow and that new platform is
01:17:12.900 being worked on right now, the one that I talked about last month, we're getting that one set up
01:17:17.100 as well. We have to be on as many social media platforms, live streaming as we possibly can.
01:17:24.020 We have to be on our own platforms, live streaming as well. We need to talk to as many people as we
01:17:30.620 possibly can the way to do that is sharing now i know right now right now in this moment there are
01:17:38.780 over 1200 people watching live by this time tomorrow this show will have been seen by probably
01:17:43.840 about 10 000 people that's awesome can we double these numbers if you have never shared this show
01:17:52.460 before it's time for you to do so now there's a reason you're here it might be the community
01:18:00.040 it might be the information i don't know exactly what it is but there's a reason that you're here
01:18:04.940 and it's time for you to do your part and get this show out there if you're not sharing it
01:18:10.960 because you're scared that somebody's going to call you a name
01:18:14.180 that kind of defeats the purpose of being here if you're worried that your facebook account is
01:18:21.820 going to get shut down for a period of time three days seven days 30 days whatever then again
01:18:26.320 the reason you're here that whole thing is defeated the reason we are here is to gain
01:18:34.900 strength from each other and learn how to stand up for ourselves and inspire others to do the same
01:18:41.600 and the first step towards that is getting the information out there need you to share this
01:18:48.940 if you're watching on rumble uh there's a share button beneath the screen hit that copy the url
01:18:56.220 to this show put it out there on your favorite website or your favorite social media platform
01:19:01.420 facebook x instagram i don't care what it is if you're watching on x it's a repost please a heart
01:19:08.880 if you're watching on facebook right now it's a simple share that's it that's all you have to do
01:19:14.000 aside from saying you've got to watch what this guy says you've got to see this and then give them
01:19:21.140 the time give them the time that that story that you want them to see is on 47 minutes so they know
01:19:28.500 exactly to go to the 47 minute mark it's that easy takes you five maybe 10 minutes 10 minutes
01:19:34.680 five sorry two maybe five minutes but it's important guys that we get this out the last
01:19:41.520 thing i want to show you tonight as you know russell brand has been accused of sexually
01:19:47.720 molesting four women now we hear there's rumors that a reporter went out and tried to farm these
01:19:55.220 women who had known relationships with him to see if they would say anything extra about their sex
01:20:00.940 lives with russell and they did they came out and said oh he threw me up against the wall he abused
01:20:06.340 me and blah blah blah now russell brand for his part came back and said no no wait a minute wait
01:20:11.060 a minute yes i was promiscuous back in those days uh using a lot of drugs and alcohol and whatnot
01:20:17.100 but let me assure you that any sexual relations i had with anybody were always consensual
01:20:22.540 on both sides so he's been taken off well not taken off youtube but he's been demonetized on
01:20:28.460 youtube and pretty much all of his other platforms he's got a very successful show
01:20:33.100 right now out there but the one platform that he will not be censored by and demonetized on
01:20:39.500 is rumble which is one of our chosen platforms here at the shadow at night live stream
01:20:43.820 so uh this is a letter from the uk parliament or one member of the uk parliament to the head of
01:20:53.060 rumble and it says dear chris i'm writing concerning the serious allegations regarding
01:20:58.120 russell brand in the context of his being a content provider on rumble with more than 1.4
01:21:03.620 million followers the culture media and sport committee is raising questions with the broadcasters
01:21:09.660 and production companies who previously employed Mr. Brand to examine both the culture of the
01:21:14.860 industry in the past and whether that culture still prevails today. However, we're also looking
01:21:21.340 at his use of social media, including on Rumble, where he's issued his preemptive response
01:21:26.060 to the accusation made against him by the Sunday Times and Channel 4's dispatches.
01:21:30.680 remember no official uh accusations have been made there is nothing legal about this at all
01:21:39.840 there's just allegations at this point from four women that's it who may be conspiring together
01:21:47.620 we don't know we don't know of course we don't condone rape or sexual molestation in any way
01:21:55.280 but at least let's get this thing proven in court before we start taking them down
01:22:02.680 because if it's that easy to get somebody taken down you can say anything about anybody anytime
01:22:08.200 that's what they've been doing that's cancel culture at work
01:22:15.380 well we recognize that rumble is not the creator of the content published by mr brand we are
01:22:23.920 concerned that he may be able to profit from his content on the platform. We'd be grateful if you
01:22:29.320 could confirm whether Mr. Brand is able to monetize his content, including his videos relating to the
01:22:34.600 serious accusations against him. If so, we would like to know whether Rumble intends to join
01:22:39.880 YouTube in suspending Mr. Brand's ability to earn money on the platform. We would also like to know
01:22:45.540 what Rumble is doing to ensure that creators are not able to use the platform to undermine the
01:22:50.780 welfare of victims of inappropriate and potentially illegal behavior yours truly
01:22:56.780 uh dame caroline dianage chair of the culture media and sport committee in the uk parliament
01:23:04.840 so um this is what the leader chris pavlosky who is the head of rumble said
01:23:12.500 today we received an extremely disturbing letter from a committee chair in the uk parliament
01:23:18.640 While Rumble obviously deplores sexual assault, rape, and all serious crimes and believes that both alleged victims and the accused are entitled to a full and serious investigation, it is vital to note that recent allegations against Russell Brand have nothing to do with content on Rumble's platform.
01:23:35.780 Just yesterday, YouTube announced that based solely on these media accusations, it was barring Mr. Brand from monetizing his video content. Rumble stands for very different values.
01:23:48.640 We have devoted ourselves to the vital cause of defending a free internet, meaning on internet
01:23:53.380 where no one arbitrarily dictates which ideas can or cannot be heard or which citizens may or may
01:23:59.980 not be entitled to a platform. We regard it as deeply inappropriate and dangerous that the UK
01:24:06.760 Parliament would attempt to control who is allowed to speak on our platform or to earn a living from
01:24:11.800 doing so. Singling out an individual and demanding his ban is even more disturbing given the absence
01:24:18.400 of any connection between the allegations and his content on Rumble. We don't agree with the
01:24:24.380 behavior of many Rumble creators, but we refuse to penalize them for actions that have nothing
01:24:29.980 to do with our platform. Although it may be politically and socially easier for Rumble
01:24:35.240 to join a cancel culture mob, doing so would be a violation of our company's values and mission.
01:24:41.300 We emphatically reject the UK Parliament's demands.
01:24:48.400 excellent we need more rumbles in the world and that is it for the show tonight you guys
01:25:00.160 uh let me remind you that i will be in winkler tomorrow night with jamie soleil and theo fleury
