00:05:13.520If you're watching on Facebook, please give us a like and a share.
00:05:16.780Let's get it out there to as many people as we possibly can.
00:05:19.460If you're watching on Rumble, same thing.
00:11:08.200I just think that at this point, it's it's you can't help but feel when every day the crown is slipping down the hill and you're staying strong, that things are going your way.
00:11:17.400Now, of course, the tide can change at absolutely any time.
00:11:21.120And it would be a foolish tactical mistake, egregious mistake to think that you've won the battle before we're even halfway through.
00:11:28.260And I maintain a perhaps unrealistic level of optimism because that's just the position I'm taking on this.
00:11:34.240But then again, I'm not responsible for their defense, but I will note that these lawyers are treating this as seriously as possible.
00:11:40.740But from Tamara herself, it was good to see that optimism coming through.
00:11:47.180Was the defense successful at all in getting any of these prosecution witnesses thrown out of the case?
00:11:54.220So that's something that I understand will be happening soon.
00:11:57.720So the Crown does expect, to my knowledge, to call 22 witnesses.
00:12:00.760i do believe with those 22 so far we've called four by the way and three of those are still in
00:12:07.280the air we'll circle back to that because it's important but of the 22 witnesses the crown wants
00:12:12.120nine of them the defense has a problem with to what i understand and those arguments will begin
00:12:17.420on monday has anyone been excluded so far no but what's what is what's happening is we settled our
00:12:23.860first witness on the tuesday which was ops officer barlow and then on the second day which was wednesday
00:12:30.740yesterday, we called our second witness, which was Inspector Russell Lucas, who was one of the
00:12:35.420incident commanders during the Freedom Convoy for the Ottawa Police. And then we also got to
00:12:40.100Officer Isabella Cyr, who was a PLT officer. Now, between those two witnesses, we had the crown
00:12:46.540PLT, I'm sorry, PLT is liaison officer, right? Sorry, I'm so used to the acronyms here sitting
00:12:52.100in on all of these proceedings. And the POECS, that's the police liaison team there. Think of
00:12:57.300them as sort of police negotiators they work very closely with protesters and events in general to
00:13:03.140try and what primarily their their mission has testified in court is to gather information for
00:13:08.540the police but then they're as secondary to that they're building rapport with the protesters or
00:13:14.440event coordinators and making sure that things remain lawful but yesterday we saw that between
00:13:20.140those two witnesses the crown was back going between them and right now we have three witnesses
00:13:25.760in the air and only one witness settled so as Lawrence Greenspan said earlier today it's there's
00:13:30.680a lot of balls going on like there's a lot of balls in the air right now and it seems to me
00:13:35.400as though the crown is trying to overwhelm the defense maybe or perhaps the crown has overwhelmed
00:13:41.140themselves because they are trying to go down a line with each of these witnesses and then they're
00:13:45.780running into a wall whether it be a problem with evidence because for example in officer
00:13:50.320Isabella Sears case, her main piece of evidence, one of them would be her so-called PLT logs.
00:13:57.160And these are sort of think of them as conglomerated notes. But these notes, however,
00:14:01.940are compiled by other people. So there are crime analysts who work at the police department who
00:14:07.160compile these PLT logs from WhatsApp messages, text messages, and what have you. But because
00:14:13.440these things were made by people who aren't directly the witness, Justice Perkins McVeigh
00:14:18.880is having some issues with that so then we go the crown goes down another avenue says okay hold on
00:14:24.000i'll call ops um sergeant joanne pilot so for example that brings us to today today we were
00:14:30.040supposed to continue with officers here and the crown told us this morning that no we will not be
00:14:34.200doing that we want to have miss pilot come in and sergeant pilot sorry who is a detective by the way0.99
00:14:39.800with the ops homicide unit and instead of investigating homicides here she is spending0.99
00:14:45.400her precious time as a homicide investigator investigating the freedom convoy and gathering
00:14:52.280videos that we will talk about shortly of people honking in trucks and sharing warm food and having
00:14:59.480just wanting to be heard by their government that doesn't seem to me like appropriate use of a
00:15:03.720homicide investigator's time i don't know what you think about that but now it seems to me like
00:15:08.560this is the prosecution's time am i correct this is yes so originally the trial is supposed to last
00:15:13.940for 16 days and 10 of those the crown intends to have i can tell you right now this isn't going to
00:15:19.460be 16 days like we're uh we're we we still haven't settled the second witness we're on to witness
00:15:25.440four and three of them are still in the air juggling between them due to the various legal
00:15:30.160issues that we're encountering so it sounds like the crown is using their time to retool their
00:15:39.300case they probably had an idea of what they wanted to do when they first started out but
00:15:43.080Now it's not working out so well for them based upon what the judge has laid down.
00:18:08.260So tomorrow morning, what we'll be doing first thing is a legal discussion, legal arguments based on the conspiracy itself, the Carter instructions, the Carter case, whatever it may be called, and the legal parameters around that.
00:18:21.580So we're going to have an argument between the defense and the Crown about the scope of this conspiracy that they're trying to prove as they're constantly changing the parameters of that in court.
00:18:30.960And it's it's not going well for them. Certainly not.
00:18:33.800You would think that that would have been hammered out well before the trial began, just through meetings with the judge and whatnot and then pre-trial leading up to this.
00:18:40.700But I guess not. What's been the biggest moment, Smoothie, of this trial that you've witnessed so far?
00:18:48.440well certainly there was a number of things that happened outside that i'm sure some people have
00:18:53.340saw we had some interesting interactions out there and i feel really bad for chris and tamara
00:18:57.580that they have to endure that uh kind of disrespect and they don't deserve that they're
00:19:01.640not the super villains people make them out to me to be but to me the biggest moment isn't a
00:19:06.460particular thing it's the collective floundering of the crown they're not off to a strong start
00:19:12.160here and the crown uh the only crown name i have right now is tim radcliffe he's a counselor tim
00:19:17.160Radcliffe there are others but he's a sort of the recurring theme here and that's the big takeaway
00:19:22.660so far is that the crown is not making their case very well that's the big moment so can you explain
00:19:28.460a lot of people don't know this there is no jury in this court case they decided upon a judge
00:19:33.840only trial do you think that was wise again I'm just a lay person so to to expand further on these
00:19:41.120legal uh opinions is this is an opinion question yeah perfect perfect so i'll answer um that
00:19:47.920decision was made by the two clients with the advice of their legal counsel and i can tell
00:19:52.600you after witnessing these individuals this legal counsel team of the aforementioned uh lawyers that
00:19:58.020they are extremely extremely competent and they want to win and i believe they will win so i
00:20:03.260believe they advise their clients and they they chose the choice they chose the path that was
00:20:08.040best suited to their victory and i think that that decision was made uh competently and effectively
00:20:14.300at the hands and the advice of the legal counsel okay i've got a couple of friends i want to bring
00:20:19.880on here uh brother and see if they have any questions they want to ask you uh patriot smoothie
00:20:24.360please meet jamie soleil and theo flurry of canadians thank you guys for coming on
00:20:29.600hello hello how's it going oh it's going good a bit tired man because it never ends but it's
00:20:37.980going good i got my sweatshirt on i love it i love it we're uh we're a bigger fringe than anyone
00:20:45.420would uh would otherwise be uh think we're a huge fringe here is there any questions you guys have
00:20:51.240that i might have forgotten to ask uh theo jamie anything you can think of i'm not shocked that the
00:20:58.000uh that the crown is already incompetent because the person who uh created this whole mess trudeau
00:21:07.000is incompetent himself so you know it's par for the course yeah okay yeah you know with that being
00:21:15.780said shadow i know earlier you asked about the videos and there was uh over 20 of them that we
00:21:20.180watched the tiktok videos and uh in one of the videos chris barber basically echoed that sentiment
00:21:26.300very well. He said, we're here in Ottawa. It's the capital. I'm sorry that it's affecting the
00:21:31.120residents here, but we're here because we want to be heard. But our government will do nothing
00:21:34.820but insult us and run to their chamber. That was a big moment, too, a good takeaway from all those
00:21:39.960videos. Again, what picture the Crown is trying to paint? Who knows? But that's what I took from it.
00:21:45.760They tried to show a video, a very one-sided video on the opening day, did they not?
00:21:51.100so so that wasn't a video that was the crown's uh perspective and they use words like occupation
00:21:57.340and occupier and so um so when the crown makes their introductory statement before the trial
00:22:03.300starts it's not part of the evidence it's not technically part of the evidentiary proceedings
00:22:07.340uh so they're allowed to use much more opinionated language and as is the defense
00:22:11.180but uh the defense immediately both defense sides for tamara and for chris being uh uh
00:24:41.460I was behind that when it was happening.
00:24:43.360So Rebel was filming that and Chris was filming it both basically behind and to the sides because that's where they were when it all materialized.
00:24:50.280I was standing slightly behind there, if I recall, but I never noticed any of those details until later.
00:24:55.800But, man, that's just hilarious and unfortunate at the same time.
00:24:58.880One last question, my friend. How important is this trial for our country?
00:25:05.360This trial is fundamentally important to this country, to the rule of law, to our democracy, that it be handled as impartially as possible.
00:25:14.560And to this day three, day four tomorrow, the Justice Heather Perkins-McVeigh is doing amazing at her detaining an unbiased perspective, in my true and honest opinion.
00:51:04.120secret inside of me for 27 years and when you do that you're actually really living a lie you're
00:51:14.980not standing in your truth. You're actually living a lie. And so, yeah, I appreciate people coming up
00:51:25.300and saying that to me, but I'm like, no, we are going to lose this battle of freedom if you stay
00:51:35.540silent knowing what I know yeah exactly because at the end of the day yeah you may be sustaining
00:51:46.220yourself in the short run but eventually you're going to lose everything right why do you think
00:51:56.000we have a housing crisis in Canada is because BlackRock and Vanguard want to bankrupt every
00:52:04.440single human being in north america who owns a house because what's this what's the famous saying
00:52:12.360from the world economic forum you'll own nothing and be happy well we're already seeing this
00:52:18.520happen and if we're not talking about it people aren't aware of it then it's going to happen
00:52:25.520so when people walk up to you or when they write to you and uh or just tag you in a social media
00:52:33.380post and say jamie soleil you're crazy i used to love you but now i i can't stand you yeah how does
00:52:40.220that make you feel and how do you respond to that yeah in the beginning i was super hurt and sad0.64
00:52:45.520because i i did a live on instagram when i could do live so i got cut off of that0.51
00:52:50.240i said um well i go against their standards i guess community standards you bad girl you
00:52:58.900Yeah, so I said that I've spent my whole life in a sport where I was trying to gain the audience's vote, you know, I wanted everyone to love me. And also, as a, you know, a kid that went through a lot of bullying, I really don't like being disliked. So it really hurt me in the beginning. I was like, Theo, how do Oh, my gosh, but Theo's used to it.
00:53:22.260I'm not um and so I struggled with that for a while and I'm not even kidding you shadow I
00:53:28.480I had like not um traditional therapy but I had different therapists that I worked with
00:53:34.240for trauma because it was bringing up some of my past stuff as well so that was the gift for me
00:53:39.960that I got to work on healing um it really it really pushed me into healing but so now what I
00:53:46.580do is a lot of people because I don't respond really anymore and I'm basically hardly ever
00:53:51.440on Twitter but on Instagram I get like really nothing but uh I send people love I try like
00:53:57.760sometimes I'll be like wow you know you're I'll make some kind of a comment but shooting hate
00:54:03.520back isn't gonna it doesn't do anything it actually makes you look just as bad so sometimes
00:54:08.540I'll even say to people remember Jesus loves even you right interesting you know what now and I as
00:54:15.040I look at your sporting careers both of you uh Jamie you know you didn't have to go into a posing
00:54:20.940arenas and face 16 or 17 000 screaming fans uh wanting your head you got a lot of love you were
00:54:28.700canada's sweetheart for years uh when the gold medal is she still is you know i i didn't always
00:54:36.080have the crowd like i mean we'd have fans in the crowd there were some times where you know we went
00:54:40.780to russia once we didn't get to compete because we got food poison i'm sure that was just an
00:54:47.360accident though we show up we went to the opening ceremony thing and we did the draw and we were
00:54:59.780skating wherever skating and then we went to bed and we woke up and dave's sick is sick man anyway
00:55:06.500the russian beaver fever yeah oh yeah you know you dude you had to go into opposing arenas for
00:55:15.460years even in your junior career you suck flurry so i guess you maybe were used to a little bit of
00:55:21.420that he loved it he pushed you and motivated you more to you oh yeah yeah so you get it on social0.97
00:55:29.540media today it probably doesn't bother you so much yeah no but shadow the one thing that i love more0.99
00:55:36.240than anything else in the whole entire world is shoving it up people's asses0.86
00:55:42.300seriously there is no better feeling for me means information yeah yeah right of course0.85
01:17:12.860That's S-H-A-D-O-E-D-A-V-I-S at gmail.com.
01:17:19.220I think Dana Metcalf, I'm not sure about this yet, but I think Dana Metcalf will be coming on again tomorrow night to update us on the OneMillionMarchForChildren.com.
01:17:37.100The Winnipeg March will be leaving from the Forks at 11 o'clock a.m.
