00:07:33.040well here's walter here and walter you hugged me so many times walter's a big dude right
00:07:39.560spent a lot of time on on the farm you know he's a strong strong man walter is and he hugged me
00:07:46.280i'm gonna say seven or eight times wound up with the bruised ribs uh a couple more hugs walter i
00:07:51.700would have been in the hospital with cracked ribs but it's all about the love you you guys
00:10:14.720But the biggest thing, what we are trying to do as Camp Hope is to unite the people, to bring people together and show love and give them a hug like you, Shadow.
00:10:32.760By the way, Mike, Walter has been our link to the Hutterite colonies and some of the food that has been served at some of the freedom events for the past six or seven months.
00:10:44.720walter that's been amazing that you've been able to have that you know and and uh healing broken

00:10:55.680so i'd like to thank you and uh the people behind that because amazing stuff you know they they one
00:11:02.960thing what what i'm gonna tell you it's about their harder rights they are such a love and
00:11:09.920caring people and and so spiritual you know they are standing behind me a hundred percent i could
00:11:16.200not do this what what we did with mike together like this broken healing hearts that that is the
00:11:22.740best basically one of the best shows where i have served and and seeing all the people there and
00:11:29.160and help mike achieve what he did and mike is such a good friend of mine and and whoever watched
00:11:36.800I handed over a piece of wood to Mike there.
00:13:51.640on the dozer we have a very good people behind us and they brought a dozer here in there now i've
00:13:57.980been working on it so we are looking now for people with bigger machinery and gravel to come
00:14:04.140and help if it works and it's uh everything will work out it is going to be roughly about june 18
00:14:12.520is our goal to open but right now with all this rain and everything it does not look very promising
00:14:19.960thing like that well we we may have to wait a few weeks longer but like walter how can people get a
00:14:25.580hold of you if they want to help out if they want to donate some stuff or their time to help you
00:14:30.060develop the camp the the best thing is to reach me at wnh at my mts.net they can shoot me an email
00:14:42.200then i'm going to call them or shoot me an email with their phone number i can contact them back
00:14:48.300or shadow they can contact you or mike white jacket or dave mckenzie from the canadian trucking
00:14:56.380magazine they can contact and they have my numbers they will contact me and we would be very glad to
00:15:04.200have people to come and help us okay speaking of dave mckenzie from canadian trucking magazine here
00:15:10.400he is in his truck right now dave are you in montana i think you're in montana i i am in the
00:15:17.840great state of montana in billings montana so and if anybody's watched yellowstone the movie
00:15:25.700i'm very close to uh where a lot of that was shot dave thank you for joining the show today
00:15:32.420can you tell us yes i got you can you tell us more about canadian trucking magazine and the
00:15:38.940success you've had so far yes uh canadian trucking magazine basically started and i'll do the short
00:15:47.240version uh over a decade ago almost two decades ago now where i saw magazines at truck stops that
00:15:55.520were just job posting magazines and i had grown up probably like you had with the reader's digest
00:16:02.160and loving seeing uh you know all the different things and the cartoons and uh crosswords and
00:16:09.420everything else there was nothing like that at the time so i started a little magazine the reader's
00:16:14.400digest size so they can put it in their pocket and it just grew it just went crazy the first
00:16:20.560I put out a thousand copies because how many am I going to put out I'm from Manitoba I put
00:16:26.800them out Manitoba Saskatchewan Alberta the next month I put out 10,000 and I built up to where
00:16:32.500I was putting out at one time 35,000 copies 10,000 United States and 20,000 in Canada the
00:16:42.980We it then from there, we've reduced the number of copies, we've reduced the size of the magazine because we came out with web magazine and getting out to the people with like 100 page web magazine that they can just click on and see.
00:16:58.560But not only that, the people that host the magazine give me the analytics of it.
00:17:03.720So we started growing with 30,000, 80,000, and last month our magazine hit 536,000 readers in a month.
00:17:14.340And I'll tell you, for advertisers and people like that, it's really great when you can turn around and show them that.
00:17:21.380The same as our Facebook, thank you to all our great Facebook people out there.
00:17:25.600We've got 51,000 people that like the page, 2 million that are following the page,
00:17:31.940And I just did a video to put on LinkedIn in that because you don't believe unless you see it, the analytics right there, we hit up to 200 million worldwide reach from our little magazine from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
00:17:48.900You've had a lot to do with the freedom movement, Dave.
00:17:51.620Can you tell us how your involvement started?
00:17:56.860My involvement started where I saw it growing.
00:18:00.360I spent a lot of time in Alberta with trucking and that.
00:18:04.620I knew some of the main players that were involved in it.
00:18:08.940I ran with a couple of the different convoys, actually down the Trans-Canada Highway with the Walsh Convoy.
00:18:18.180I also had the pleasure of driving 89 miles with the People's Convoy down in the United States out of Amarillo, Texas.
00:18:27.920and i did a video of the whole convoy they put me in the lead i pulled over did a video of it
00:18:33.880and it was one hour long that's how many trucks they had but what it is is i've always believed
00:18:40.280in freedom i've always believed that we the people we the people are the ones that control
00:18:47.860the government the people we put in there and i've always believed that there should be laws
00:18:53.220for the minority not the majority that our laws should represent every single person and their
00:19:01.220rights and for years everybody said my body my choice and then suddenly that changed and so that
00:19:08.440got me fired up I had quite a lot of people like-minded people on my page although I don't
00:19:14.580mind saying and saying it publicly that I basically banned over 2,000 people from the page
00:19:21.4402,000, because not so much that they weren't on track with 80 or 90% of the world right now,
00:19:31.820but the fact that they would do belligerent comments or rude comments, once is fine,
00:19:39.680second, we check you, third, boom, they're gone. And it doesn't affect our analytics at all,
00:19:45.860Because with 51,000 other great people liking the page, a few thousand doesn't matter.
00:19:52.300OK, guys, this story from the CBC just came out today.
00:19:55.980Of course, we found out about this yesterday after the vote in Parliament and the Conservatives got voted down.
00:20:01.500Their motion got voted down to remove the travel mandates for unvaccinated people.
00:20:06.320There was a big stink about Pierre Polyev not voting.
00:20:08.900He was here in Winnipeg yesterday for an appearance.
00:20:11.140And when the vote actually happened, he was in Thunder Bay.
00:20:13.720He says he tried to vote remotely, but his vote wasn't counted for some reason.
00:20:17.360So he says he's going to bring it up when he's back in Parliament later on this week.
00:20:20.900But in the meantime, yeah, these measures, these travel measures are going to continue for at least another month until the end of June.
00:20:30.480Like, what is it we're going to have to do?
00:20:32.520I'm going to start with you, Mike, on this one.
00:20:33.980And I know that you've been talking a lot about a possible run for mayor.
00:20:39.280I don't know if you're going to do this or not.
00:20:40.900I'm against it personally because I think we need your services within the movement, but it's up to you, obviously.
00:20:48.740Do you think we can get out of this politically, or is there something else we need to do?
00:20:53.140I think we just need to bind together and work together as people.
00:20:57.180What's happening is we're so divided, and everyone has different opinions, so we need to put our opinions together.
00:21:02.660The stronger we are as people, the better chance we have of winning.
00:21:06.080The more divided we are, the less chance we have of winning anything.
00:21:08.880So we need to come together. We need to love each other, care for each other, and just bind together and realize that this is the same goal that everyone should have. And that's our freedom. Our freedom. Right now, what we are is we're in prison and we can go out in the prison yard, the prison yard being Manitoba or Canada, but we can't leave the prison yard.
00:21:27.760so if you think we have our freedom we don't and trudeau showing us more and more that he can hold
00:21:34.520us back if he wants it he's doing it i mean if you look at it june july and august is the time
00:21:40.380people want to travel at some time they want to leave canada and go to other places and enjoy
00:21:45.120their summers so if we don't come together to british columbia or fly out to ontario or fly
00:21:50.760out to the maritimes yeah so i think if we don't be if we don't come together as one and if we
00:21:56.240if we keep this nonsense up we're just doing harm to our children our grandchildren and the future
00:22:02.000generation so we need to realize that we're not being greedy by asking for our freedom we're not
00:22:07.580being greedy by saying hey let us go see people wherever we want to go let us fly and the last
00:22:13.180thing we could do in my opinion is when september rolls around and they try to do another lockdown
00:22:18.020the monkey pox or whatever they're trying to do next right if we put up our hands and just say
00:22:22.900this is okay, we're in big trouble. If we didn't learn the first time around of how bad things
00:22:28.840went, and I told you over and over again, and people came and verified this as a funeral
00:22:32.760director, I told you that we had the highest suicide rate we've ever seen. We've had the
00:22:37.320highest drug overdose rate we've ever seen. Mental health illnesses at a point where they can't even
00:22:42.980fix it. People can't even get appointments to get into hospitals. This has caused a disaster in
00:22:48.080canada the pandemic has nothing towards what happened to people this is about people when we
00:22:53.680start realizing that we need to put people first our elderly population our younger population our
00:22:58.680middle people in general we need to care about each other and when we start pushing people aside
00:23:03.560because the government says we have to we have a problem and i don't think we could do that again
00:23:07.660this is a great comment from rosanna uh she says just thinking of all the people joining the show
00:23:13.180tonight and so many other groups and podcasts that I try to keep tabs on the huge number of
00:23:19.380people that Dave was just saying his magazine reaches. Those numbers tell me that we are a
00:23:25.140much larger group of freedom people than the number on the other side or the numbers that
00:23:30.160are with Trudeau. So we should definitely be on the winning side, shouldn't we? Well, this is what
00:23:34.000I've been saying for quite some time is that, you know, 20 loud voices on Twitter or on Facebook
00:23:41.660can make it feel as though it's actually 200 000 it gives you the impression that the other side is
00:23:48.240the majority and then when the government starts pumping out numbers like well 84 percent of people
00:23:53.240are fully vaccinated i don't believe those numbers for a second not for a second because the number
00:23:59.140of people who have taken the booster shot is still hovering at 41 so either the government's lying or
00:24:05.760there's a huge disparity the amount of people who actually wanted to take this experimental serum
00:24:11.160as opposed to the ones who were forced to do it under duress.
00:25:08.660And that's where we have also a Facebook page, Freedom Hope Canada, and we have there, and I try to teach it on there as well when I do live shows.
00:25:21.840I tell people that if we will stand together and unite, that is the only time when we're going to win this.
00:25:30.940But as long as we're going to fight and try to divide everybody, it's not going to work.
00:25:36.900And with building this camp, this is exactly where we are working on to bring the communities together, to unite better and coming.
00:25:47.300And then also, we have to work on voting the right people in.
00:25:53.080We have to go with the school trustees, vote the right school trustees in.
00:25:59.000We have to vote for mayor like Mike Whitejacket.
00:27:37.240If Mike White is running for mayor, let's support them all.
00:27:41.240Because if we're going to divide everybody, it's not going to work.
00:27:44.560The best thing, what this is going to work, if we're going to stand together and stand to each other and let our egos go.
00:27:51.880Because we want the rights for our kids and for our freedom.
00:27:55.900So that's why we have to let our egos go and work with it, with each other on it.
00:28:00.620Well, maybe that's why we've been seeing different events, and we have events that are sometimes planned at the same time as another event on a Saturday afternoon, and one event gets 40 or 50 people, the other event gets one of your 30 people, and some people are actually sick of hearing about the fighting too, Walter.
00:28:20.320I believe you're absolutely right. And they've just given up. So if we could actually come to
00:28:24.420them with the message of unity, we're all unified in this. I think that it would encourage a lot of
00:28:30.440people to come out because there were people coming out a year ago. I saw a lot more people
00:28:34.900coming out than there are today because they're a little bit tired of all this infighting. Dave,
00:28:40.660I'm sure you've got a unique perspective on this. Having spent a lot of time in the United States,
00:28:45.360said you were part of the Freedom Convoy down there. What is the difference in attitude when
00:28:50.380it comes to this fight between Americans and Canadians? Well, one thing I'd like to say,
00:28:59.860first of all, just going back to what Walter is saying, he's right. There's a lot of egos,
00:29:04.340but there's another problem too. There are some people who jumped on this financially
00:29:10.120and are financially gaining and i've watched for those and i will not support any of those i only
00:29:16.080support the freedom group for we the people i want to talk about mayor mike because man he would have
00:29:22.840my vote he'd be the people's mayor and my uh person i was talking down here named brandon at
00:29:28.860the white house said that if he does mail-in votes i'll put a hundred thousand votes in for him
00:29:34.060but there will be a tomorrow and there will be a tomorrow uh just looking at this and seeing the
00:29:50.960great people i see here on the screen that are we the people down in the united states there's
00:29:56.380we the people and i was a part and i had people that were involved in the people's convoy
00:30:01.760and it fell apart like Walter says with egos it it really fell apart with egos it was terrible
00:30:09.120I watched it I was on their sites and it split and it split and it split they're trying to get
00:30:16.260it together right now the big thing is is the reason why I say there will be tomorrow is two
00:30:22.900reasons one on the political front if we the people keep gathering with great groups and
00:30:29.060there's one starting in alberta that i do support called freedomconvoycrew.com i believe they've
00:30:36.580talked to you shadow they they are a group of the original uh freedom convoy 2022 people that are
00:30:44.060joining groups across canada and they've started a page called freedomconvoycrew.com where all the
00:30:50.700groups can join together and start organizing all the different activities and that and that's what
00:30:56.640they need they need organization they as walter says not egos they need to organize and let me
00:31:02.300tell you one more thing and shadow i'm going to bring you back in your age and your news things
00:31:07.160when bill clinton was president of the united states in quebec they had a issues with flq
00:31:16.860and block parties and they were going to have a big vote for quebec to separate from canada if
00:31:23.180you remember that huge vote if you remember what bill clinton did he moved troops up to new york
00:31:30.280and vermont huge troop movements and when the prime minister at that time was asking bill clinton what
00:31:36.500he was doing he said they would not allow another cuba next to the united states of america if you
00:31:43.740remember that it was a real controversial thing and of course they did not vote to separate it
00:31:49.500It had a lot to do with it because they did not want a government like that next to the United States that they'd have to deal with.
00:31:59.180And that's the way it looked like it was leaning, like a Trudeau government.
00:32:03.120So this November, this November, United States, they are really revved up down here.
00:32:10.080I've traveled right down to Florida through all those states.
00:32:13.060I traveled down to Texas through those states, down even to California.
00:32:17.100and you should see the rallies and the groups on weekends that the people are having to turn the
00:32:23.900United States red and if they turn it red it is we the people that are turning it red and that is
00:32:32.460November for the Congress and Senate which will control the United States if the United States
00:32:38.140turns red and turns to no mandates no mandates and we the people Canada is right there right
00:32:47.080beside it and i think that's going to be a huge influence for us to look at things i am really
00:32:54.940shocked and if i can say one more thing here i'm really shocked we talk about lying and the
00:32:59.900government lying that the senate has not pressed the charges and the investigation against trudeau
00:33:07.600and removed him as prime minister and we the people have to push that because the senate has
00:33:12.620confirmed in their investigations that and you all saw it on the news that trudeau came out and
00:33:18.840he said ding dong bell the interim chief of the ottawa police had requested federal assistance
00:33:27.300that the rcmp commissioner had requested federal assistance that they requested the emergency
00:33:34.920measures act the war measures act and in fact in the senate hearings both ding dong bell and the
00:33:41.260commissioner of the royal canada police have testified they neither asked for it they didn't
00:33:47.220request it informally and they never requested it formally from trudeau yet he was in parliament
00:33:54.620and under oath he said they did and when he was in front of the senate he said he did he lied to
00:34:01.040senate he led to parliament he's got to go mike for prime minister i'm gonna i'm gonna play you
00:34:08.580this video. This is the committee meeting from a few days ago. One of the conservative MPs
00:34:15.000talking to Patricia Lockie. She is the commissioner of the RCMP. Now, what has the liberal government
00:34:20.460been doing to deflect this investigation into why they call the Emergencies Act? They've been
00:34:25.740claiming cabinet confidentiality. Guys, watch a couple of minutes to this. This is appalling.
00:34:30.980are you part of the liberal government miss lucky not at all are you a donor to the liberal party
00:34:42.660no you sure about that i'm sure are you still citing cabinet confidentiality
00:34:51.140yes mr brock you have five minutes thank you madam chair and thank you to all the witnesses
00:35:01.400for your appearance today so i want to i have several several questions several themes
00:35:09.640limited time so i'm going to address an issue right up front to both miss lucky and mr vivillon
00:35:17.320hope i pronounced your name correctly sir i'm just learning french um but i want to know whether
00:35:24.580or not any any of your witnesses yourselves or your your witnesses your assistance with you
00:35:32.600are prepared to answer any questions regarding whether the legal threshold of the invocation
00:35:40.340of the act was met and whether in your belief the issue or the the act itself was charter
00:35:49.340compliant the measures taken under the act were charter compliant is anyone prepared to answer
00:35:56.600those questions from the rcmp perspective we're not in the position to speak about the legal
00:36:02.260threshold uh that wasn't part of our uh responsibilities okay another one you go ahead
00:36:10.180yes mr brock and and you did pronounce my name very well thank you uh and uh no unfortunately
00:36:15.860i would not be at liberty to uh to provide any legal interpretation of this thank you secondary
00:36:22.340to that question both of your departments have a legal division isn't that correct
00:36:28.900yes right yes i understand that legal division is under the auspices under the leadership of
00:36:38.000the department of justice correct yes accurate so the legal advice that you opined on from my
00:36:48.380colleague mr green and i'll get to some more specifics in a moment did that come from your
00:36:54.540internal legal departments or did it come from the doj uh i wouldn't i don't know what advice
00:37:03.780you're referring to any advice with respect to this emergencies act any legal advice as to whether
00:37:11.780the threshold was met and that the provisions were charter compliant canadians want to know that
00:37:17.380answer i wasn't part of the discussions of the legal threshold and if it was if the legal
00:37:25.380threshold was met well who in your department received legal advice if it wasn't the commissioner
00:37:31.940no that was done by the people who made the decision to invoke the act and and so the
00:37:37.780information okay so the information from justice or the information from your legal department
00:37:43.860went to who at the rcmp you or somebody else no we have legal services but we only discussed
00:37:52.800once the authorities were uh available uh okay maybe maybe i'm confusing you okay
00:38:01.940and went on and on and round and round and round and that mp was so incredibly frustrated with the
00:38:10.960answers he wasn't getting it went on where patricia lucky i think that's her first name uh the
00:38:16.460commissioner of the rcmp who many people believe should not be in that position when she started
00:38:23.180citing cabinet confidentiality he said are you a member of the cabinet of the government are you
00:38:28.960an elected official no i'm not no i'm not when i'm talking about things that were discussed in
00:38:33.900cabinet i do have to invoke cabinet confidentiality which is a thing in canada which is what the
00:38:38.740Liberals are using Dave, Walter and Mike to obfuscate from what they actually use, the rationale they use to call the Emergencies Act,
00:38:47.240freeze all of those bank accounts and use police bullying tactics to remove peaceful protesters from the streets of Ottawa.
00:38:56.200And they continue to use the term illegal barricades and illegal protests.
00:39:01.200There is nothing. There was nothing illegal about that.
00:39:04.540Dave, were you there in Ottawa, or have you spoken to people who were in Ottawa, and what is their relation of it?
00:39:14.000I've spoken to many, many people from Ottawa, including that group that I mentioned, that website, are all people from Ottawa, as well as Walter, who got pepper sprayed by people down in Ottawa.
00:39:28.040uh the uh uh it's it's very interesting that they saw that the original police the opp the
00:39:39.440ottawa police the rcmp that was there and walter can talk to this had coffee with them they they
00:39:45.860baked pigs to get roasted pigs they ate together and everything they believed as they believed
00:39:52.160that they were under their rights, under their charter rights, under Section 2 of Freedom of
00:39:57.780Assembly. And then suddenly these goons appeared. And I think, Shadow, we still need to know who
00:40:06.060those goons were in the green jumpsuits. We really need to know who they were because nobody can
00:40:13.640identify their badges that they were wearing and who they were. And they were brutal. They were
00:40:19.920ugly people they hit peaceful canadians canadian citizens they beat them they trampled indigenous0.97
00:40:27.680elders with horses it was a black mark on canada where before that the world was watching and
00:40:35.480saying look at what canada's done canada's ignited freedom in the world canadians are great people
00:40:41.480canadians are lovers and huggers and freedom fighters and then suddenly they get trampled
00:40:47.280by a government one government official that's controlling a bunch more which is what's there
00:40:54.340was that got elected by 18 percent well no more like 30 percent but still very low number the
00:41:01.920lowest number of any sitting prime minister in the history of the country as a matter of fact
00:41:05.700was there any talk of those unidentified forces being un
00:41:09.960yes and let me tell you that the language they were speaking was not English and there was
00:41:21.060explanations given to members of the Royal Cayman police who also have spoken to me and said that's
00:41:27.780because they speak in that language so that others don't know what they're doing and the moves they're
00:41:33.080doing uh walter did you hear the language they were speaking yes uh there was uh when we were
00:41:40.540there the whole thing is we wanted to go to ottawa just to join the party because all we heard
00:41:46.360of was the good party out there and when we got there that was not it we came the day before this
00:41:52.700whole thing happened and i did live shows there because i went there to do live shows and see it
00:41:59.220for myself if people go to redneck lifestyle they can go back to the videos what i have there
00:42:06.360and it was there was some cops with the the green uniform they had no badges they had no names
00:42:15.380nothing they uh we could not understand when they were talking to each other we could not
00:42:21.440understand their language what it was and and there was one very interesting thing
00:42:26.160in that hotel where we were that there was a one of the police officer with the un badge with the
00:42:36.100un bank and we we talked to him and we asked him what he was doing here oh he just came for a
00:42:42.480meeting so we asked him if he came here also to help with this uh with the people here he says
00:42:48.440no i'm not talking anything but we just came for a meeting so that the people were there they were
00:42:55.060not from here and uh there was uh for example there was one police uh in particular the people
00:43:02.420can see it also on my youtube video on uh and he was like i had a conversation with him because i
00:43:09.540tried to explain him what would you do if this was your kid standing on the other side would you still
00:43:16.140do this and and he agreed with us you know and and then we start fist bumping and his superior was
00:43:23.200standing in the back and then the superior came to the front tapped him on the shoulder talked
00:43:27.980to him for a little bit and then he kept talking to us and then he says he couldn't fist bump
00:43:34.220anymore was this during the siege uh the last final days of the convoy this is when they brought
00:43:40.820in their big heavy forces and correct correct and their horses and all that when they brought that
00:43:46.320in and then this officer couldn't fist bump us anymore but he kept talking very soon his
00:43:53.160superior came and then they took him out because he is not supposed to be talking to the people
00:43:58.740so I was focusing on the horses because they had the horses there and as I did it there was a nurse
00:44:05.000standing right in front of me on the front line so she got pepper sprayed and I got pepper sprayed
00:44:10.560at the same time but I grabbed the girl and turned her to the back and then I went out too
00:44:15.880But I got pepper spray twice like that.
00:44:20.700And when they start pushing, there were people, they were just holding the line.
00:44:24.800There was nothing rude what the people did.
00:44:27.680They were just standing and holding their line.
00:44:30.560And if the police couldn't move us, then they took pepper sprays and with their big batons and just pushed people like that.
00:48:21.100You know, I wouldn't want to take any support away from Mike, and I think I would probably get all of his support, leaving him supportless.
00:48:31.020But, you know, I don't really have any aspirations for that anyway.
00:48:36.480Everybody keeps talking about peaceful, peaceful, peaceful, peaceful, and I have no problem with that.
00:48:42.040but there is a man called Marcus Ray who has been out there stirring things up
00:48:48.100a little bit amongst people, mostly in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan.
00:48:52.160He's going to be making his way out here to Manitoba in the next few days.
01:08:38.740Walter, how can we find out more about Camp Hope?
01:08:41.680You mentioned earlier there's a Facebook page.
01:08:44.820Yes, they can go to Freedom Hope Canada.
01:08:49.460And the answer there is four questions.
01:08:51.800We do that already because there's so much camp coming in.
01:08:54.760And we grew so fast, we weren't even prepared how fast we are growing our Facebook page.
01:09:01.060So if they go to Facebook, Freedom Hope Canada, and that is where they can follow us and see that's where we give updates on the camp and how far we are and what we are doing.
01:09:14.000And right now we are looking for help with bigger machinery, with gravel ordination, so they can donate on WNH at MyMTS.net.
01:09:25.880They can reach me there or a messenger and then I will call them back.
01:09:30.520or contact Shadow Davis or Mike White, Mayor Mike White.
