00:06:43.580 Welcome to the show, everybody.
00:06:45.780 Okay, I'm going to bring this on.
00:06:47.740 This is the woman the YWCA of Regina is bringing in this weekend
00:06:55.180 for their Women of Distinction Awards.
00:06:58.340 This is going to be the keynote speaker.
00:07:00.920 So here you go.
00:07:03.180 Have a look.
00:07:04.380 Hello.
00:07:04.880 My name is Faye Johnstone.
00:07:06.340 I use she and they pronouns, and I am the executive director of Wisdom to Action, a 2SLGBTQ-owned and
00:07:12.020 operated consulting firm that specializes in 2SLGBTQ inclusion and works extensively in the world of
00:07:18.020 youth mental health. I also come to this conversation as a proud trans woman, but also as a white
00:07:23.780 settler joining today from unceded, unsurrendered, Algonquin, Anishinaabe territory, colonially known
00:07:32.580 as Ottawa. My work and my life have been dedicated to supporting 2SLGBTQ communities,
00:07:38.680 addressing gender-based violence, and improving mental health, and ensuring that our conversations
00:07:43.600 about mental health include and reflect the needs of 2SLGBTQ communities in particular.
00:07:49.140 Okay, so I'm not going to play any more of that. I just wanted you to know who the YWCA of Regina
00:07:57.800 has decided to make their keynote speaker for a rather large event coming up this weekend.
00:08:02.580 here's uh my one of my favorites anyway megan kelly on this whole trans thing was seeing people
00:08:08.560 like riley gains the swimmer we discussed chased into some room as a kidnap victim because she
00:08:13.320 tries to stand up for fairness in sports and they've had it they've seen kids who instead of
00:08:18.980 getting honest psychological care only get affirmed you're right you are a boy you're not a girl you
00:08:24.320 should go on cross hormones immediately they get sterilized they go right to puberty blockers
00:08:29.660 right to cross sex hormones and they are sterile not only that no orgasms for them in their future
00:08:35.360 nice is that informed consent for a 14 year old who's going through bodied issues and that's all
00:08:41.500 what she really needed was a good honest therapist no we're standing up and we're fighting not
00:08:46.160 because of some stupid group that decided to make a wedge issue out of it but because the leftists
00:08:51.040 have lost their mind and some of us still have a tether to the truth men cannot become women women
00:08:57.260 cannot become men biological sex is real if you've got issues with respect to your gender you can work
00:09:03.500 them on time and manifest them however you make you a woman seeing people like riley yeah okay
00:09:10.520 once is enough and i i absolutely agree with everything megan just said there here's what
00:09:16.320 ariel put up on her facebook page on april 22nd celebrating a man at an event that distinctly
00:09:23.880 celebrates women ywca regina do better as they said we are so excited to announce fate johnstone
00:09:32.400 is our keynote speaker for the women of distinction awards thank you to our entertainment sponsor
00:09:37.760 casino regina and there there he is and by the way ariel runs a business called garden girl and
00:09:46.980 we're going to bring her on right now hello ariel thank you for coming on the show tonight really
00:09:50.720 appreciate you taking the time. I know you've got a busy schedule with garden girl and then
00:09:55.140 your kids playing soccer. You just came from a soccer game, right? Yeah, right off the field,
00:09:59.600 actually. So when you put that up, and by the way, I showed that on the screen because I wanted
00:10:07.700 people to see that you've still got it up there, which I think is fantastic. I know many people
00:10:11.860 buckle and cave under pressure or the pressure that you faced. I mean, it didn't seem to have
00:10:16.820 that many engagements on facebook maybe 30 likes and well sorry 30 reactions among them maybe seven
00:10:23.960 red angry faces and a bunch of thumbs up and a bunch of hugs and whatnot did you think it was
00:10:29.040 going to cause such a shit storm no no not at all not at all and and really it was a private post
00:10:36.380 so it wasn't a public post um so it was just friends that could only see it my friends that
00:10:42.380 could only see it and what like it be unhappy with it comment and the comments um which i know
00:10:49.240 people can't see because i have kept it as a um a private post just because um just to honor my
00:10:55.800 friends comments and thoughts and beliefs but well ariel's frozen i'm not so hopefully she comes back
00:11:09.220 you know it's interesting yeah there you are you just kind of you froze for a second there so you
00:11:16.520 were talking about your friend's comments you wanted to honor your friend's comments so you
00:11:19.580 made the post private well yeah and it was private from the start um so to me it was a safe space
00:11:24.980 where people could comment we could have a healthy discussion about it i honestly didn't know if there
00:11:29.820 would be any discussion on it but there was a lot of the a lot of interest from all sides of it um
00:11:35.380 from you know men women and and all ages of women too which was really really nice because
00:11:40.780 there was some really different perspectives on that but it being a private post I didn't think
00:11:45.740 it was going to go anywhere from there and um but someone decided to take it and make it public
00:11:52.120 so what happened after that when um when she took it when the post went public
00:12:00.040 did you get oh yeah um and and i i don't know for sure because i mean things happen so fast
00:12:08.040 um on that interweb of ours that i think it was shared in many groups um that uh yeah activist
00:12:15.940 groups and that's where it just really really took off and the hate mail just came flying in
00:12:22.120 what kinds of things have they been saying well i mean i can i swear on here yeah yeah yeah i mean
00:12:29.280 this is it okay first of all before you curse yeah I'm gonna let everybody know you're gonna
00:12:33.960 curse I mean we are all adults here hopefully I know there's a couple of little kids who watch
00:12:37.940 so yeah if you do happen to have Madison you're not watching this right now are you I'm going to
00:12:43.160 her baptism this weekend oh nice yeah um so Madison I want you to cover your ears for the
00:12:48.880 next couple of minutes well Ariel tells us what uh what was said on this Facebook post I mean
00:12:54.640 probably the worst one was um you know you're a wretched bitch that one was really shocking i mean
00:13:00.680 i don't know who these people are they don't know me so you know you just kind of laugh and
00:13:04.420 and slug it off but um that one burn the witch that was apparently all over twitter i'm my
00:13:09.840 business isn't even on twitter see she tagged my business so that's where people then were um
00:13:15.580 customers for instance could all see that see my public or my private post um because she
00:13:22.440 screenshot it so yeah burn the witch which like where in the world would that come from
00:13:26.620 um yeah you're talk ariel that's how they talk that's how they rally the troops that's right
00:13:32.600 right um and just a lot of you know you're a transphobe not at all i'm not um i you know it
00:13:41.040 just it just on and on and on and you become a little bit numb to it at first it was like oh
00:13:45.600 that's shocking where is this coming from um and then there was a lot of and this i find really
00:13:51.100 interesting. There's a lot of you need to educate yourself over and over again. And I kind of
00:13:57.800 chuckle at that because it's like, okay, well, if you want us to educate ourselves, because we don't
00:14:02.560 agree with you, but you don't let us talk about it at all. Like, no, you're not allowed to talk
00:14:06.520 about it. You just have to agree with us. And that's educating. Right. You know, here's an
00:14:11.580 interesting one. I used to work a morning radio show here in Winnipeg on the News Talk radio
00:14:16.960 station which is run by chorus entertainment and i was forced into excuse me having a lot of topics
00:14:25.180 on my show that i wasn't comfortable with that i didn't think were relevant and i thought people
00:14:29.520 wouldn't care about right because they weren't relevant yeah and there was and my producer was
00:14:34.980 a young uh very very very left wing person who had just come out of college and she wanted to
00:14:44.280 make an impact and she wanted to get her stuff on. So I, you know, I would go back and forth on
00:14:48.540 certain things with her. One morning she decided she wanted to bring in several different representatives
00:14:53.960 of the LGBTQ2A peace sign, whatever the hell numbers and letters are after all of that. So
00:15:01.680 there was eight people sitting in my studio. There was one gay man, there was a gay woman
00:15:07.620 and whatever else in between binaries, non-binaries, you name it. Right. And it was
00:15:13.780 interesting in this 15 minute discussion none of them could agree on anything that was being done
00:15:20.120 by their supposed organization and i thought you guys aren't really together on this at all are
00:15:24.880 you you've got different each one of you has got a different definition of whatever word i throw out
00:15:30.020 to you so how can you sit there and say that you're a unified organization when you're not
00:15:35.760 and and and secondly you've also got organizations out there called gays against groomers yeah who
00:15:43.720 are growing in popularity every single minute of every single day because they don't believe in
00:15:49.380 this societal thing that is going on right now i think it's a social contagion personally and i
00:15:55.280 think this trans thing right now is nothing more than the new bulimia for teenagers and it's
00:16:00.860 frightening you know if a 10 year old has got a little bit of a question about their sex they
00:16:07.540 should go to their parents and be able to discuss it if they have tendencies towards being a tomboy
00:16:12.200 or if there's a more effeminate boy out there,
00:16:15.340 well, then they should be able to talk about that
00:16:17.120 without going through radical gender therapy,
00:16:20.560 hormone blockers, you name it.
00:16:23.140 And I think maybe that's what you were trying to say here.
00:16:25.640 I mean, am I wrong?
00:16:29.260 No, I mean, this particular instance goes right down.
00:16:33.740 I mean, if we let it happen here,
00:16:36.100 it goes right down to the kids, right?
00:16:38.980 You give that inch and then, well,
00:16:41.240 we're already in this position you know we see it in schools over and over again and um yeah
00:16:48.300 it's it we have to stand up at some point right so it and we have to do it soon well you know
00:16:55.200 the interesting thing too is for years i mean i've had trans friends right and and i thought
00:17:01.660 it was strange but i went along with what they were doing because you know whatever makes you
00:17:07.060 happy whatever floats your boat i don't care it doesn't personally affect me it wasn't affecting
00:17:12.440 anybody i know and love so you go ahead and have a good time with your life it doesn't matter to me
00:17:16.960 but as you said earlier now it seems as though if you don't just not just accept it but if you
00:17:23.320 don't celebrate it and stand on the rooftop shouting i love trans people then you're a bigot
00:17:29.460 and heaven forbid you should have an opinion against it so uh has there been any fallout
00:17:35.300 any loss of business in your business at all or have the troops started to rally now um there has
00:17:41.340 been some there's been some fallout a staff member left over it okay and a you know i've seen as i
00:17:48.160 was checking on twitter here and there there was um there were customers that i had recognized that
00:17:53.600 you know we're we're jumping on that cart and i was like okay well go for it that's okay um
00:17:59.300 at least i know what i can and cannot say when i'm around you but um but yeah no no no no no no
00:18:05.960 no no no feel free to say whatever you want to say whatever you want to say it right true now
00:18:11.880 at the same time we don't want to go around you know offending people for offending's sake
00:18:17.100 no right i mean there's a time and a place yeah and and when it comes to you know my business and
00:18:22.720 my customers i keep politics out of it it you know it's never entered into my business i try
00:18:28.600 I can keep it out of it just because it's, you know, I'm more comfortable with that.
00:18:32.200 But this just, I mean, this dragged me right into it.
00:18:34.960 And so there was some fallout for sure.
00:18:38.140 And of course, there's all sorts of reviews that I can't get rid of on Facebook and Google.
00:18:44.240 And I mean, there are people that have never even shopped at my store.
00:18:47.280 They're probably trolls, but still, they know how to work that, right?
00:18:50.920 And they know that you can't get that stuff off of there very easily.
00:18:53.500 so what you can do Ariel is you can drown them out with a louder wave which is what we're about
00:19:00.340 to do here with you yes please continue yeah so I mean that would be amazing um and then you know
00:19:07.760 the troops started to rally around and I got a lot of messages um friends and family going holy
00:19:14.680 smokes like did you see what this person just said about you and I don't even know who they are and
00:19:19.300 I'm thinking, well, yeah, okay. And there, you know, and then people started to fight back a
00:19:23.480 little bit. And then I felt like I was standing in the middle of a storm. And, you know, it was
00:19:28.340 just a big, you know, people fighting every which way. And I just sort of thought, holy crap, I said
00:19:34.000 one thing, just one statement that I believe in. And that is true. You know, I feel I have to say,
00:19:42.140 I feel terrible for the women who are up for rewards at this, because, you know, it's gotten
00:19:47.960 to a point where if they go to it then they're supporting the ywca's choice but if they don't go
00:19:54.360 to it then they're losing out on the opportunity of being that keynote speaker or of um of receiving
00:20:00.520 that award and getting that you know you know that dignity it's just i i feel so badly for them
00:20:06.920 do you think it's time that maybe we look past all of this stuff and and you know people will
00:20:11.720 strive their entire lives to win an award and and whatnot but if if they're going to do this
00:20:17.440 then what does that award really mean that's true that's true and now that's the other part of it
00:20:23.400 there were there were actually quite a few women who came into the shop um after this all went down
00:20:27.840 and said we're up for awards and we're not going because it just it doesn't mean anything at this
00:20:31.400 point i'm you know no thanks i don't want that well maybe that's what it is is a full-on boycott
00:20:37.200 Yeah. We continue to create our own society here, our parallel society in which we don't agree with things that are blatantly wrong. I mean, this is biologically impossible. A man cannot become a woman. A woman cannot become a man. They can go ahead and think that and they can walk around in dresses or they can walk around. You know, a woman can walk around trying to look like a man. But ultimately on the inside, your body is what it is. And that's all there is to it.
00:21:05.120 Your statement said, bringing in a man to celebrate women, YWCA, do better.
00:21:13.720 Do you regret anything about that at all?
00:21:16.800 No, not at all.
00:21:18.980 Not at all.
00:21:19.940 In fact, I, you know what?
00:21:22.240 I honestly had a moment of clarity, I think, because I look back at it.
00:21:25.700 I'm like, it's so simple and so true.
00:21:27.660 And just it's, that's it.
00:21:29.780 Nothing else.
00:21:31.680 Did you ever think about apologizing?
00:21:35.120 Yeah, I did. I thought about it because I had lots of people suggest, I think you should apologize. I think you should take the post down. And it didn't feel right. And I thought, well, maybe I'll give it a couple days and see if it feels right then. And it still doesn't feel right. There's nothing that I said that was hurtful or insulting. As far as I'm concerned, it's not. And it wasn't meant to be.
00:22:00.880 So if someone takes insult to it, that's up to them.
00:22:04.360 You know, we can't keep we can't keep wandering around with these kid gloves, just, you know, praying that we're not going to insult somebody.
00:22:11.200 It just that just drives me crazy.
00:22:13.360 I mean, we have to get past it and other people have to get past it.
00:22:17.080 I mean, as soon as they get insulted, they got to sort of sit back and think about it and go, is it really that bad?
00:22:22.140 Is my skin that thin?
00:22:23.160 yeah yeah we have some pretty good news stories coming up later on in the show tonight that are
00:22:28.200 gonna give people that hope that you know what we don't have to walk around like this all the time
00:22:34.220 like we're in bubbles and safe spaces and no no space you know when i was growing up you know what
00:22:40.980 your safe space was you go down to the basement and play some records for a while till your mom
00:22:45.500 started stomping on the ceiling your ceiling her floor saying turn it down yeah yeah that was your
00:22:51.760 safe space there was no running and hiding from anybody man you faced your problems yeah that's
00:22:58.580 what makes us who we are that's right that's right yeah and and you know it just we also have to
00:23:06.840 recognize that we have we have freedom of speech and so many are forgetting about that and trying
00:23:13.480 to cancel it and that's i'm so done with that to be honest okay so look i'm going to throw up your
00:23:18.700 facebook page here on oh sure on the screen it's garden girl so you guys if you're on facebook

00:24:53.800 great stuff yeah okay so there is garden girl guys on facebook and on google go and give ariel a huge
00:25:02.500 fantastic five star rating it will help her get back the rating she had before all the trolls
00:25:07.840 uh took over her page and you didn't deserve what you got and you know it may take us a few days
00:25:15.700 to get back organized and behind you but we did it and we're going to keep doing it hey you were
00:25:20.860 on Gormley right last week yeah yes I was yeah they reached out um when this went down yeah okay
00:25:28.020 so Gormley for those of you who don't know uh he is a talk show host uh I think he's based out of
00:25:33.500 regina but he's on the two big stations in in uh saskatchewan so ckom and saskatoon and then cjme
00:25:40.820 i think it is in regina yep what was that conversation like what did he want to know
00:25:45.900 um he wanted to know he wanted to know what happened how you know where did this come from
00:25:52.160 why is everyone talking about you so badly and and he wanted to talk about um mostly just about
00:25:59.300 you know why is this okay why is it okay for someone to take you know a post like this and
00:26:05.580 share it and and to dox you like that like and and just really kind of hammer home that you know
00:26:11.860 what people like we got to do better than this this isn't it's it's not right have you had anybody
00:26:17.600 come into the shop and call you names personally or are they too scared no you know surprisingly
00:26:22.760 no nobody um nobody at all it's not surprising at all it's not because they're cowards right
00:26:30.060 if they're going to come at you they're going to come at you from behind a computer screen or
00:26:33.860 they're going to be wearing masks yeah but they will never come to you personally because they
00:26:38.560 they're yellow they have no integrity whatsoever and they don't even know what they're talking
00:26:43.400 about yeah yeah i suppose i was expecting there to be a lot of backlash in person but thank
00:26:49.860 goodness there hasn't there's been lots of people a ton of new faces just coming in and saying thank
00:26:54.920 you for standing up because I can't because I will lose my job that was one of the things Gormley
00:26:59.900 mentioned he said you know this the cowardness and I I don't necessarily think of it that way
00:27:05.180 because I just feel for people who are in that position who want to speak up and who want a
00:27:10.720 better life for their kids down the road and to do that is to speak up but on the other hand yeah
00:27:16.340 they'll get fired and man, that's just not okay. It's not okay. And it needs to stop. And I think
00:27:21.600 corporations need to start looking at that. Now people's opinions are their own and it has no
00:27:27.140 reflection on what they do in their workplace hours of eight to four, nine to five, whatever
00:27:32.260 it is. Right. Uh, especially if they say on their social media pages that my views are my own and
00:27:39.260 do not represent anybody but me yeah ariel i would like to uh compliment you on your bravery
00:27:47.000 commend you on that and thank you for standing up where many others couldn't and taking a chance
00:27:52.760 like that because you did take a big chance um and you're doing okay you're coming out the other
00:27:57.220 side so thank you for coming on tonight and thank you for standing up really appreciate you taking
00:28:01.260 a good time. Great. Thank you so much. Okay. Uh, there is Ariel Cote, uh, garden girl in Regina
00:28:08.460 garden girl.ca. And again, let's, uh, go and throw up her, her Facebook page garden girl on Facebook.
00:28:16.240 So go to the search bar guys, type it in, give her a good review, give her five stars. Let's help
00:28:21.540 her get her business up and going again. She had the courage to do what a lot of people wouldn't.
00:28:28.320 so i went looking for some ways to defend against a cancellation attack when the mob is denouncing
00:28:37.480 you demanding you be punished fired loss of business whatever it happens to be what do you
00:28:42.740 do then so this is from psychology today we're not going to go through all that crap here here
00:28:46.700 are the here are the ways to go ahead and defend yourself first of all stay calm whatever is going
00:28:52.680 to happen will probably take some time meaning you have time to plan a strategic response no
00:28:57.140 matter well that's i think that's completely off base i think a lot of people feel as though they
00:29:02.660 can go ahead and say what they want and then they're very surprised a day later when the angry
00:29:06.760 left-wing media mob not media left-wing mob antifa's probably because they're organized
00:29:12.660 online and offline as well don't remember or don't forget they come at you and they come at
00:29:18.560 you fast and hard and in numbers right so you probably haven't got that time you're probably
00:29:25.920 going to be taken by surprise. Then they say here, accept your fate. You've already been denounced
00:29:31.560 and publicly shamed. This will continue. You may be fired. One of the great lost arts of fighting
00:29:37.700 a cancellation attack is stoicism. Accepting that you were going to lose gives you an extraordinary
00:29:43.080 power to fight the attack. Basically, I don't care. That is, that's something I adopted a few
00:29:53.380 years back actually many years ago but it's really come in handy these past three years i'll tell you
00:30:01.000 and i think a lot of people really have trouble with that i'm gonna lose this i'm gonna lose that
00:30:06.420 i want to just say this because it's stupid what's going on right now say it say it protect
00:30:14.840 yourself first even jordan peterson that uh jordan peterson said that prepare to weather the storm
00:30:20.620 duck and cover you see these these are all you know what i would say
00:30:30.480 it's defending yourself from the mob attack 101 i'm a little bit more advanced than that they
00:30:39.160 say play the long game you may have lost this round the game isn't over your strategy is to
00:30:43.500 limit the damage during the worst initial phase of the attack if you survive the initial onslaught
00:30:48.900 you'll have all the time in the world to rebuild your reputation turn the experience into something
00:30:53.140 constructive and if you choose to seek vengeance never apologize that's the reason i wanted to put
00:31:01.620 this particular uh this particular story up on the screen for you guys right if you are planning and
00:31:07.980 i know many of you do on a regular basis go up on your facebook pages or your twitter pages or
00:31:13.580 whatever other social media and you say this is ridiculous and you you know you repost this show
00:31:18.020 And I say thank you for that, because you may have taken some heat in the past.
00:31:21.640 Never apologize.
00:31:23.240 Never.
00:31:24.400 You can do nothing to sate what a distinguished Yale psychologist identified as sadism.
00:31:30.400 Instead, your apology will be treated as a confession of guilt, showing that even you acknowledge how despicably you behave.
00:31:39.580 They say some exceptions here.
00:31:41.240 Feel free to apologize if you really did something unethical or screwed up something important.
00:31:46.400 However, you are doing this because you think this is the right thing to do, not because you expect to appease your attackers.
00:31:55.260 Appeasement doesn't work.
00:31:58.580 It only makes it worse.
00:32:02.000 Never, never, never apologize.
00:32:06.560 Do not resign, retract, cave, or voluntarily cooperate.
00:32:12.320 The game isn't over till it's over.
00:32:14.840 you make it easy for them if you cave and you absolve them of all responsibility for their
00:32:19.860 bullying it proves your actions were despicable you just implicitly confessed by stepping down
00:32:26.480 or retracting your own paper it also allows them to say it was your choice not theirs you have
00:32:32.100 inadvertently given them cover that camouflages their sociopathological bullying censorious and
00:32:37.820 authoritarian behavior do not give an inch count odo defeated 30 000 vikings with 300 knights by
00:32:47.740 making them suffer so much they concluded continuing the attack was not worth it make
00:32:52.700 coming after you hard and uncomfortable for them and guys if you do get attacked
00:33:01.380 You've got people like me who will step up and defend you.
00:33:06.240 I don't put up with this crap.
00:33:08.520 You shouldn't put up with this crap.
00:33:10.540 That's exactly why I wanted to have Ariel on the show tonight.
00:33:14.000 We have all of these outlets.
00:33:16.060 There's other independent media who will do the same thing for you if you wind up in the same boat.
00:33:20.960 And it doesn't matter who you're facing, whether you're a business owner,
00:33:24.480 whether you're working for some large company and you get fired, we'll stand up for you.
00:33:30.500 we'll have hundreds if not thousands of people send emails and say this was a bad decision man
00:33:36.580 you made the wrong wrong decision rehire this person it has no reflection at all on their work
00:33:44.280 ethic none they just made an opinion on facebook so what what does that have to do with you
00:33:52.080 all right for those of you that didn't see this this was from the first week of the nci the
00:34:00.900 national citizens inquiry hearings in truro nova scotia rodney palmer is a former journalist
00:34:08.120 and he spoke at length about how cbc and other media entities left-wing corporate media entities
00:34:15.060 in this country have been bastardizing the truth for at least the last three years and i played this
00:34:21.740 the day that he did it the day that he gave this testimony but now thanks to the nci boiling this
00:34:29.400 down into five minutes and 30 seconds i can give you the basic gist of it if you haven't seen this
00:34:34.040 before guys you've got to watch this every single media entity in this country if it's corporately
00:34:42.640 owned has been compromised watch what he has to say here
00:34:51.740 In the lab, it was investigative reporting.
00:34:55.460 What the CBC did when it said, don't trust your family if they think it came from a lab, that's propaganda.
00:35:00.100 That's the difference in the definition of those two things.
00:35:02.420 The Vanity Fair piece, reviewing scientific publications for a decade,
00:35:07.140 uncovering the fact that human lungs were engineered on rats in Wuhan lab in 2019, just before the outbreak,
00:35:13.800 is news gathering, exceptional news gathering.
00:35:16.480 I'm jealous of how good that news gathering was.
00:35:18.520 What the BBC did, reporting on the FBI, saying they've known for a long time that it came from the lab, was news gathering.
00:35:26.480 That's kind of news of the day, daily news.
00:35:28.820 They said it, we're telling you they said it.
00:35:31.080 What the CBC did by warning Canadians not to trust their fathers about a lab like theory was propaganda.
00:35:36.920 March 4th, 2021, about a year after the emergency, the editor-in-chief of CBC News, Brody Fenlon, wrote on his blog,
00:35:45.260 a recent survey found that about half of canadians think journalists are purposely trying to mislead
00:35:51.620 them well that's because we're on to you at least half of us pay attention to our gut
00:35:57.920 and we know that you are purposely trying to mislead us but mr fenlin said that cbc is going
00:36:03.980 to correct this to promote trust in journalism the cbc has joined four organizations i didn't
00:36:09.920 know that they joined these organizations until i began to look into this a little bit one of them
00:36:13.980 is called the trusted news initiative which is designed to filter news through its own trust
00:36:19.860 filter system another one's called the journalism trust initiative it's basically the same name
00:36:24.660 but this one does more or less the same thing another one's called the trust project and then
00:36:29.920 project origin and notice that none of these organizations have the word truth in them
00:36:34.460 if you tell the truth consistently trust is automatic if you don't tell the truth consistently
00:36:41.340 you have to say things like please trust me these are the members of the trust project now this goes
00:36:46.480 way beyond the cbc globe and mail is also in there ctv is a member the walrus magazine in canada
00:36:53.440 supposed to be an independent thought magazine they're part of this project the canadian press
00:36:57.460 oh i put this up there to let you know that it is not just the cbc the reason they all sound the same
00:37:03.300 is because they're all part of this trust campaign this is the photograph on the slide here
00:37:10.380 of the ivermectin from the cbc website under which the cut line says ivermectin is used primarily to
00:37:16.740 rid livestock of patients i'll draw your attention to the box in the photograph's hands and the and
00:37:21.600 the yellow on the right hand corner where there is a picture of three human beings this is
00:37:26.560 international and multilingual there's an adult and an adolescent and a baby and the baby has an
00:37:32.900 x through it because you give uh babies ivermectin and a liquid suspension so they don't choke on
00:37:37.400 the pill this is human ivermectin photograph on the cbc website and they're saying it's for
00:37:43.880 livestock this is a lie a half-truth disinformation propaganda brought to you by the cbc when does an
00:37:52.180 organization go from an association to a monopoly and did you do any investigation into commonality
00:38:00.880 and ownership across these different media platforms?
00:38:04.900 I didn't, no.
00:38:06.200 But when they all follow the Trusted News Initiative,
00:38:10.360 then you have a single point of information coming down.
00:38:12.980 Then now there's only a single point.
00:38:14.520 It's kind of like when the World Health Organization
00:38:16.500 is feeding its member nations protocols on what to do.
00:38:20.340 If you wanted to corrupt all those nations,
00:38:22.100 you would only have a single target.
00:38:23.460 That would be the World Health Organization,
00:38:24.900 and then all information would feed down from there.
00:38:27.120 By joining this Trusted News Initiative,
00:38:29.740 they're all collaborating.
00:38:30.880 on this single idea when did you start seeing that we were going in that slippery slope of
00:38:39.260 propaganda and i guess the question i'm wondering about is what's the exit out of it when i started
00:38:48.580 noticing it i showed you was was within days of the emergency the exit out of it is a big big
00:38:55.420 question because the cbc has not missed the story the cbc has betrayed canada and betrayed canadians
00:39:02.420 by resting on the laurels of decades of hard-fought journalists who did their work and
00:39:10.340 entire careers of investigative journalism and they're using that to trick us they morphed into
00:39:16.880 propaganda in a moment of exception the beginning of covid we were all on board with let's all go
00:39:22.900 hide and stay home because we're afraid but the period of exception is over you could forgive them
00:39:28.660 for allowing themselves to be an apparatus of the public health because it existed it was a
00:39:33.980 broadcast system that we could send messages to on a daily basis and in a moment of exception
00:39:38.720 you could say we're going to let the cbc be the public health system right now but the emergency
00:39:44.940 is over and the exception still exists how we get out of this i'm not sure but there would have to
00:39:51.500 be a wholesale redesign of the cbc because i think that it would be extremely difficult for
00:39:56.600 the number of people in that organization to admit to themselves as they go to sleep at night
00:40:01.980 that they cause deaths by misinforming people and disinforming people
00:40:06.420 all right the hammer comes down at the end uh this is harold jonker you guys he is being charged
00:40:19.480 like just yesterday the ottawa police decided they were going to charge him with four crimes
00:40:23.740 he was one of the truckers at the freedom convoy last year but before we get into that i just
00:40:28.880 wanted to bring back this video the one that i showed you at the beginning of the show here of
00:40:33.500 faye johnstone um and i wanted you to see let me just make this bigger here
00:40:40.880 the walrus that's one of the organizations one of these media organizations that
00:40:49.240 rodney palmer just singled out supposed to be an independent media organization uh but they are
00:40:55.540 funded by the government by the way they are funded by trudeau's liberals uh look at the
00:41:00.260 sponsors on the bottom of this brain canada foundation rbc air canada inspire labat meta
00:41:08.480 and shaw these are all companies who are following the esgs who are following the woke agenda
00:41:18.020 air canada inspire labat if you drink labat beer don't meta that's facebook for goodness sakes
00:41:28.700 not much we can do about that one if you have shaw cable get rid of it there they are right
00:41:34.220 there those are the sponsors of this person this faye johnstone we don't need that also uh garden
00:41:42.840 girl you guys are doing a fantastic job with garden girl uh giving her some great reviews
00:41:46.580 look at this it was at a 3.7 just about 10 minutes ago and now it's already up to a 4.5 i think you've
00:41:53.020 added something like 60 new reviews in the past 10 minutes keep it going garden girl on facebook
00:41:58.740 there she is right there 4.5 now so we're helping her get her business back and get her reputation
00:42:05.280 back and she should never have lost it in the first place for goodness sakes harold jonker
00:42:10.500 charged with inciting mischief and a few other counts in ottawa by the ottawa police
00:42:19.480 yesterday here's his message to all of us and i'm going to try and get harold on the show either
00:42:26.000 tomorrow night or the night after i'm hoping for lieutenant stephen rogers tomorrow night here we
00:42:30.080 go good morning everybody first of all i'd like to thank you all for coming here this is uh
00:42:36.000 means a lot to me for some reason the Ottawa police have decided to charge my
00:42:43.700 with four counts of criminal
00:42:46.440 region station here in
00:42:55.360 to turn off in
00:42:59.040 my fungus here
00:43:01.760 my wife as well as all these beautiful people
00:43:04.820 behind the camera but
00:43:07.700 kind of an emotional week finding out
00:43:10.920 They honored out an award for my arrest for our involvement in a beautiful, peaceful, wonderful convoy that gave so many Canadian folk and joy.
00:43:25.520 Now, I'll head back in. The sergeant did say it. It's just me as allowed in there.
00:43:32.160 And that's understandable. They're trying to do a job, which is not easy for them, I'm sure, either.
00:43:39.020 and hopefully it doesn't take too long.
00:43:41.740 I don't want to miss the Leafs game tonight
00:43:44.520 and for sure I do not want to miss my daughter
00:43:47.480 doing her confession of faith in church.
00:43:49.320 So that's why I came back from D.C.
00:43:52.580 to be here for my daughter
00:43:54.640 and ended up having to do this as well.
00:43:57.220 Thanks.
00:43:58.440 Love you, Isaiah.
00:44:00.300 Yep, thanks.
00:44:01.100 Love you, thank you.
00:44:05.180 You good?
00:44:07.420 Gavin?
00:44:09.020 Look at this cop here.
00:44:12.260 He must be ashamed.
00:44:14.280 He's waiting patiently.
00:44:16.540 He's been a good guy.
00:44:17.580 Come on.
00:44:21.020 All right.
00:44:23.800 So it goes on to repeat itself after that.
00:44:27.100 I'm going to try and get him on the show.
00:44:28.820 I'm not sure he's going to be able to say much because of the legal ramifications.
00:44:37.040 then again it's not in court yet he didn't even couldn't even remember the charges but he seems
00:44:43.300 like such a nice guy didn't want to miss the Leafs game though and this goes back to something I've
00:44:49.240 been saying and I just said a couple of minutes ago we have to stop supporting these and I know
00:44:56.900 it's hard you guys I understand how difficult it is these are things that we've been doing
00:45:01.860 following our entire lives i mean many of you are probably lifelong leafs fans
00:45:07.480 flames fans oilers canucks whatever but in the past three years the nhl has shown their hand
00:45:18.080 they canceled one season okay i totally understand that at the very beginning there was a lot of
00:45:23.620 people who didn't know what was going on and so you cancel you try and make make everybody safe
00:45:30.460 But then they came back and tried to play a season with empty arenas.
00:45:38.200 And we know that they weren't taking things too seriously because the referees and coaches were forced to wear masks, but not the players.
00:45:51.180 Do you know how much referees skate in one hockey game and they're wearing masks, but not the players?
00:45:59.740 And the players come off the ice, wheezing and spitting and coughing all over each other.
00:46:08.100 No mask, but the coach has to.
00:46:12.620 And then this past year with the rainbow jerseys.
00:46:17.200 That's what did it for me.
00:46:19.360 I'm sorry, but I am all for inclusiveness.
00:46:23.080 And to me, inclusiveness means, look, if you want to do this, go ahead and do this.
00:46:31.040 I have absolutely no problem with you wanting to wear a dress, whatever.
00:46:37.760 Just don't think that you're going to be going into the women's bathroom because you're not a woman.
00:46:43.540 And my wife's going to be going in there or my daughter's going to be going in there and I don't want you there.
00:46:48.960 and the same goes with change rooms in in gyms locker rooms whatever no we can't have that
00:46:57.040 because we know we know there are going to be people perverts who try to take advantage of this
00:47:03.080 we just know that it's already happened it's probably happened a lot more than we even know it
00:47:11.760 and so now that they're trying to jam it down our throats and get us not just to accept but
00:47:18.540 to celebrate. And if we don't, we're bigots. I'm sorry, that's where I draw the line. And I also
00:47:23.800 draw the line with them trying to sexualize our children in schools and libraries. This needs to
00:47:30.780 stop. Of course, our kids should feel comfortable coming to us as parents and grandparents to talk
00:47:38.520 about this kind of thing. They should. And we should give them the answers that we can give
00:47:45.260 them about how we feel about it that's what family is all about but they are trying to destabilize
00:47:52.140 our society and the best way to do that is to destabilize the family unit and they're doing
00:47:58.280 a very good job of it they did a great job of it all through covet mother against brother sister
00:48:05.620 against father you're gonna get a vaccine you're not wearing a mask you're not welcome here for
00:48:11.920 christmas and many of those healed or those wounds have not yet healed if they ever do i'm not sure
00:48:18.660 anyway let's move on here keith woods made a post today keith woods
00:48:25.920 hang on a minute let me scroll down here keith woods well he's a journalist he got banned from
00:48:35.340 twitter uh from december 21st april 14th of this year and then he's back now
00:48:42.720 So he is a journalist, and he says, according to the New York Times, this is the text that led to Tucker Carlson's firing due to his, it's not how white men fight comment.
00:48:54.560 I'm not sure if you guys have heard this.
00:48:57.620 Consider that most of the text is him trying to humanize political enemies who have targeted his house and family for harassment.
00:49:04.440 But a passing comment about a positive trait of white people makes this too radioactive for Fox.
00:49:11.920 so this is a message that tucker carlson sent
00:49:16.000 a couple of weeks ago i was watching video of people fighting on the street in washington
00:49:23.220 a group of trump supporters surrounded an antifa kid and started pounding the living
00:49:29.140 shit out of him it was three against one at least jumping a guy like that is dishonorable
00:49:35.560 obviously it's not how white men fight that's the comment that seems to have caused the problem
00:49:42.300 yet suddenly i found myself rooting for the mob against the man hoping they'd murder him
00:49:48.100 or hit him harder kill him i really wanted them to hurt the kid i could taste it
00:49:53.780 then somewhere deep in my brain an alarm went off this isn't good for me i'm becoming something i
00:50:00.600 don't want to be. The Antifa creep is a human being. Much as I despise what he says and does,
00:50:07.820 much as I'm sure I'd hate him personally if I knew him, I shouldn't gloat over his suffering.
00:50:12.400 I should be bothered by it. I should remember that somewhere somebody probably loves this kid
00:50:17.420 and would be crushed if he was killed. If I don't care about those things, if I reduce people to
00:50:22.720 their politics how am i better than he is now i really don't know what he meant
00:50:31.320 when he says that's not how white men fight
00:50:35.820 maybe it's an american racialized thing i don't know
00:50:44.060 does anybody have a clue as to what he might have meant by that aside from a racist comment
00:50:52.720 some people are saying
00:50:56.320 he's just attributing a positive trait
00:50:58.620 to white people
00:50:59.560 but it seems to juxtapose
00:51:02.800 the entire message of
00:51:05.500 this text here
00:51:09.100 so I don't know
00:51:13.160 it's a tough one
00:51:22.720 i like the rest of the message but that whole white man thing i i don't know about that
00:51:27.920 and i would love to hear him explain that to be honest and i'm certain that tucker would
00:51:34.400 be honest about it and i'm hoping that he does a message much like he did
00:51:40.560 last week just give us a two three minute message man and let us know what you meant by that
00:51:45.280 and don't sugarcoat it just say it straight in the meantime since tucker has left fox news
00:51:53.540 the ratings are in free fall they have lost two million viewers significant decline in ratings
00:52:01.220 and that's just in the eight o'clock central time slot that's just in tucker's old time slot two
00:52:08.140 million he used to carry something like 3.7 million viewers on average which was by far
00:52:14.260 the number one show in that time slot uh for cable um but they've lost two million just in
00:52:20.440 that time slot they're getting almost being beaten by cnn and msnbc is now beating them
00:52:28.380 isn't that interesting billboard chris i'm still trying to get him on the show he's a tough get
00:52:35.200 you guys that's what they call it a get when you get a good get it's a good guest here is billboard
00:52:40.500 chris being accosted by some creep hang on all right let me make it bigger so we can all see
00:52:48.480 uh so his sign because this is what he does he walks around with a billboard hence billboard
00:52:54.820 chris children cannot consent to puberty blockers that's all he said he's standing in the middle of
00:53:00.140 all these marxist university students and this guy here decides he's going to go up to chris
00:53:08.020 and give him what for watch you no i don't want to talk to you i want me to fucking leave nobody's
00:53:16.440 impressed you guys fucking suck so bad okay you are the dumbest motherfucker i've ever seen in my
00:53:21.920 Oh, oh, oh, oh, language warning.
00:53:25.920 Language warning.
00:53:30.080 My man.
00:53:31.140 See?
00:53:31.600 You should talk to this guy.
00:53:32.560 You should have a conversation.
00:53:34.000 No, you should shut the fuck up.
00:53:35.920 You should move to a cave and die.
00:53:38.720 Because you're an idiot.
00:53:40.040 This is a place of learning, and you're a stupid motherfucker.
00:53:43.380 You should listen here and not talk.
00:53:45.380 What's stupid about my position?
00:53:46.520 Everything.
00:53:47.360 Like what?
00:53:47.880 You're an ignorant, hateful little shit.
00:53:49.780 I don't know why you're so insane.
00:53:51.180 tell me one thing i'll tell you ten thousand things you suck fuck you yeah that's true right
00:53:56.240 there yeah what about the position your position is you're a fucking idiot my position is i give
00:54:02.900 a shit about everything is a fucking idiot you okay so i would like to thank the guy in the
00:54:11.640 maroon jacket for showing us exactly how stupid he is how intolerant he is and most of the ilk
00:54:18.800 like him are and that's why billboard chris put that up by the way bud light set to lose
00:54:28.400 title as the u.s's biggest selling beer as rival sales soar following the trans debacle
00:54:36.360 this is from bant.com.au the fallout from bud lights trans marketing fiasco continues
00:54:45.340 at pace with confirmation sales are now down 26 following a well-publicized customer boycott and
00:54:52.740 the brand now a real risk of losing its long-held title of america's biggest selling brew oh look
00:54:59.900 there's dylan malvaney in a bathtub looks like he needs a shave here are the top selling beers in
00:55:07.520 the united states bud light still on top but dangerously close is modello michelov ultra
00:55:14.060 Coors Light, Corona, Miller Light, Budweiser.
00:55:17.620 Ooh, we don't want Budweiser in there either.
00:55:20.980 Well, the beer remains the best-selling beer brand in the country.
00:55:24.680 And if it was number one, why on earth did this vice president of marketing,
00:55:30.180 the one that came up with this ridiculous idea, who's now been put on leave,
00:55:33.800 why did she think that they needed to do something different?
00:55:39.600 If it ain't broke, don't...
00:55:41.820 Oh, I know, she's woke.
00:55:45.640 Oh, this just won't do.
00:55:46.960 We can't have a bunch of good old boys sitting around drinking Bud Light.
00:55:50.820 We can't have that.
00:55:51.640 No, no, no, no, no.
00:55:52.760 Not representative of our thought process here at Anheuser-Busch.
00:55:57.520 No, we have to bring Dylan Mulvaney in a bathtub to a beer can near you.
00:56:05.060 bud light is in serious trouble this year brewing expert bump williams bump a great name
00:56:15.440 told the st louis post dispatch i think it runs the risk of losing that number one position at
00:56:20.860 the end of the calendar year to modello a special modello a special is currently america's second
00:56:28.580 biggest selling beer annual sales of 3.7 billion bud lights 4.8 billion so my friends
00:56:33.700 this is how we do it this this is how we do it i'm talking about all of the wokeness that's
00:56:41.480 going on and i mentioned the sponsors some of the sponsors anyway earlier in the show
00:56:47.440 air canada shaw cable don't use them the nhl has gone woke i'm sorry to tell you this
00:56:57.660 because i know that that's like kicking you in the nuts if you're a hockey fan
00:57:04.020 or whichever team you're rooting for i know
00:57:08.800 you know it's interesting at the manitoba freedom convoy last year
00:57:16.240 when the winnipeg jets were only allowing vaccinated people into the games you must
00:57:23.980 have a vaccine passport which was one of the very things we were fighting about we're fighting
00:57:29.180 against at the freedom convoy they wanted to put the games up on the big screen so people could
00:57:35.780 watch them now it wasn't a great idea in the first place because it was minus 35 and stayed that way
00:57:43.740 for three straight weeks the three weeks that we were there it was really really cold so i don't
00:57:49.720 think anybody was going to be standing outside watching these big screens anyway but the point
00:57:54.480 is why are you celebrating why are you why are you supporting an organization that doesn't want you
00:58:01.480 around that is promoting discrimination what is your problem and i brought it up with some of the
00:58:08.000 executive there and they said yeah well the guys just want to watch
00:58:10.680 the only way to stop all of this woke garbage from going on the only way to stop this from
00:58:23.080 taking over our lives and it's this close right now is to kick them in the wallet
00:58:28.960 can you imagine if these nhl teams were only drawing eight or nine thousand people for their
00:58:36.700 playoff games that would send a very huge message don't you think the same goes for air canada or
00:58:44.540 shaw let's just say shaw loses 10 of their customers in the next month wonder why well
00:58:52.260 you're promoting wokeness and you're trying to dram this you know ram this trans thing down our
00:58:59.620 throats we don't like that and if you're supporting supporting all of that crap i'm sorry but we
00:59:04.800 haven't got time for you and you're not going to be seeing any of our business that's what we need
00:59:09.360 to do just like what they did with bud light in the united states it can be done new york state
00:59:18.580 now i've got some good news coming up guys like this is actually kind of terrifying because if
00:59:24.440 new york has done this then i can only imagine that other states will follow suit and provinces
00:59:29.960 in canada new york state has banned gas stoves and furnaces in many new buildings
00:59:37.280 hospitals critical infrastructure and commercial food establishments will be exempt
00:59:44.380 of course because we want people to actually survive in places like that
00:59:49.800 well wait a minute commercial food establishments why why do they get to be exempt
00:59:54.900 oh because they cook with it because it's their business oh well that's different i don't
00:59:59.640 understand like there should if if you are serious and the reason they're doing this obviously is
01:00:08.320 their climate agenda there's a climate emergency climate we gotta ban natural gas one of the
01:00:12.620 cleanest burning fuels ever by the way then they should be cracking down on everybody regardless
01:00:19.500 of who or what they do who they are what they do doesn't matter but no just like covid right well
01:00:25.860 there will be some exemptions and exceptions for example construction workers can keep working why
01:00:31.440 that new building needs to be built right now it can't wait until this thing is over oh no no no
01:00:38.840 you see that's another way that they shot themselves in the foot with this whole thing
01:00:45.180 by allowing exceptions you are you know an important business we need to keep you open
01:00:53.740 walmart safeway sobeys but you little guys i'm sorry you just you're not relevant you're non
01:01:01.660 essential and going back and thinking about that moniker that got slapped on a bunch of people's
01:01:10.040 businesses non-essential we don't need you how belittling was it to hear that from your own
01:01:18.640 government and then from all of the left-wing corporate media that trumpeted that non-essential
01:01:23.860 businesses i'm sorry but you are not necessary and therefore we're shutting you down new york
01:01:30.940 has become the first u.s state to pass legislation banning the use of natural gas for heating and
01:01:35.300 cooking in some new buildings a plan designed to reduce carbon emissions but opposed by industry
01:01:39.580 groups as excessive and costly. This, my friends, is part of the Green New Deal, the Leap Manifesto
01:01:47.240 that we laughed at six or seven short years ago. Both the Democrat-led Assembly and Senate
01:01:53.200 late Tuesday approved the provisions which are included in the state's $229 billion U.S. budget.
01:02:01.220 Governor Kathy Hochul and lawmakers agreed to the outlines of the spending package last week.
01:02:06.120 wow now again we want you to watch out for that if the NDP takes power in Alberta
01:02:15.140 you can bet that Rachel Notley will be trying something like this and I have heard rumblings
01:02:22.240 they're already going to try and do this in British Columbia and run completely on
01:02:28.100 hydropower, which they do have a lot of, but it's very expensive. Kid Rock's No Snowflakes Tour
01:02:38.000 has sold out all 30 shows in under an hour. There's a guy who's been standing up for freedom
01:02:47.300 the whole time. People want to go see him. Ted Nugent as well is going to be guesting on some
01:02:52.940 of these shows in the United States now this uh this is one of the ones we missed from about a
01:02:58.020 month ago maybe a month and a half now from thefederalist.com you guys may have heard about
01:03:04.380 this I didn't Ron DeSantis yanks the Hyatt Regency Miami's liquor license for hosting holiday drag
