00:08:00.940 okay guys i'm going to read you a press release that came from the justice center
00:08:04.200 for constitutional freedoms back on september the 29th rolling thunder protester acquitted of all
00:08:11.140 charges the justice center is pleased to announce that courtney john dugas has been cleared of all
00:08:17.620 charges stemming from his arrest at the peaceful rolling thunder protest in ottawa last year
00:08:22.480 on september 26th after a two-day trial justice david berg of the ontario court of justice
00:08:29.420 acquitted mr dugas of charges of disarming a peace officer and assaulting a peace officer 0.87
00:08:35.180 once you guys see this video you're going to be amazed that they even had the balls to put these
00:08:41.460 charges out there john carpe of the justice center says this is one of many acquittals in cases where
00:08:48.080 Canadians were criminally charged for doing nothing other than peacefully exercising their
00:08:52.460 charter freedoms of expression, association, and peaceful assembly. So on April the 29th of last
00:08:58.380 year, Mr. Dugas attended the Rolling Thunder protest in Ottawa, organized to support James
00:09:03.400 Topp and other veterans who've been facing expulsion from the Canadian Armed Forces over
00:09:08.380 their decision in 2021 to not take that ridiculous formula. Mr. Topp, who'd been serving as a member
00:09:14.520 of the canadian armed forces for 28 years gained national headlines none good by the way not in
00:09:20.060 the left-wing corporate media anyhow back in 2021 for his 4 293 kilometer canada marches walk across
00:09:28.720 the country as far as i'm concerned this man is a national hero and will go down like that once all
00:09:33.940 of this nonsense is cleared he made this walk in protest of mandatory vaccine mandates forced
00:09:40.700 quarantines, mandatory testing and other conditions of employment or provision of services. In addition
00:09:46.060 to joining the moving protest of motorcycles and other vehicles, Mr. Dugas, a musician appearing
00:09:52.100 under the name Cassius Julius, who has a brand new song out, by the way, which will play for you
00:09:56.940 later on in the show, was scheduled to perform at the protest the following day. He did appear.
00:10:02.340 He's going to tell us all about this. Police officers testified in court as they formed a
00:10:07.560 line to clear protesters from Rideau Street on the first day of the event. Mr. Dugas allegedly
00:10:13.040 grabbed an officer's baton and allegedly threw a punch. However, the officer's accounts differed
00:10:20.980 with respect to the timing of the alleged assault and the arrest. Mr. Dugas, testifying at his own
00:10:26.560 defense, denied the allegation. His testimony was corroborated in court by a friend who was there
00:10:32.220 with him that day we have video not that video we'll play that video for you in a bit this is
00:10:39.960 the video that came from cassius julius's arrest watch what happens here it's 22 seconds we'll
00:10:47.440 play it a couple of times for you there he is
00:11:02.220 now that seemed to go by pretty quickly didn't it i mean he didn't really do anything it looked
00:11:18.600 like he was maybe talking to them but i guess it's best to bring him on now and and uh find out for
00:11:24.300 ourselves cassius julius joins the show cassius thank you for coming on tonight really appreciate
00:11:29.140 you taking the time welcome yes thank you for having me so much i appreciate it so listen this
00:11:34.320 video we just played for the people uh can you break it down for us and tell us what exactly
00:11:40.320 happened and usually i'm interested in what happened before the video actually comes into play
00:11:46.020 oh most definitely um so yeah we were all there of course um for rolling thunder and um yeah i was
00:11:55.400 just playing with the officers just like many other you know protesters that were there just
00:12:00.100 letting them know what they're doing it's not right you don't have to be here you know especially
00:12:04.260 in your you know your riot outfit and your combat outfits and things like that you know like we just
00:12:09.780 felt like it was basically the the convoy all over again when it came to all the police force and the
00:12:15.860 police presence and how they were dealing with us right cassie how many of you were there at this
00:12:21.500 moment where the police it looked like they just batted you down onto the ground and then
00:12:26.920 surrounded you how many of you were there protesting at that moment at that exact moment
00:12:31.960 there was roughly around maybe 10 people around me and this is the thing this is the thing that's
00:12:38.500 very questionable is the fact that they only attacked me um i noticed when everybody started
00:12:46.260 heading back towards the hill so when all the cameras were now away from them that's when they
00:12:52.420 just grabbed me quickly well first it started off um with an officer pushing me um and then as i get
00:12:58.900 pushed back maybe like a foot or two couple feet i'm standing there puzzled and shocked on why i
00:13:04.460 just got pushed by this officer because it just it didn't make any sense so i stand there and then
00:13:09.840 I'm, I guess they were expecting a reaction from me, a violent one. And when I didn't give them
00:13:16.640 that, that's when they just swarmed me, maybe five, six officers grabbed me and then three
00:13:22.880 officers eventually, you know, just forcefully throwing me to the ground. Yeah. And at this
00:13:29.160 point, I'm just so confused on what's happening. I got pushed by an officer from behind that kind
00:13:35.380 of scared the heck out of me for sure. Cause I didn't realize officers were coming from behind
00:13:39.080 me um yeah and then that's when they forcefully just threw me to the ground um and uh yeah
00:13:45.600 falsely arrested me and yeah basically said you're going to jail tonight were you injured at all in
00:13:52.520 this i was yes um so my right hand my middle finger um actually uh basically blocked the uh
00:14:01.340 the super forceful fall basically from me hitting my face because what happened was um a few officers
00:14:07.320 maybe like two or three officers had grabbed my left hand. And then a couple officers were
00:14:13.140 grabbing my sweater. And then another officer had my right hand, but they were trying to take
00:14:18.180 kick out my feet. So I can basically face plan into the ground. And I did have retina surgery
00:14:24.200 in both my eyes a few years back. So I definitely can't have that happening. You know, I can
00:14:29.280 literally go blind. I'm not exaggerating that fact at all. So I finally thank God my right hand got
00:14:35.880 free in order to block the fall and when i did that um i busted up my middle finger pretty bad
00:14:42.180 so when you were on the ground how first of all how long were you on the ground before they picked
00:14:46.460 you up and threw you in the back of a car uh i was on the ground for roughly not even 30 seconds
00:14:53.800 probably yeah i mean i would say yeah 30 seconds around there it was very quick can you give us
00:14:59.560 the mood of the rolling thunder event before the cops showed up so forcefully yeah it was loving
00:15:06.740 peaceful high fives hugs you know people from everywhere coming to this event you know to
00:15:12.940 support james top to support everything that we're doing everything that this whole protest was for
00:15:18.120 everything was amazing even the police were there police were by they seen everybody was having a
00:15:23.700 great time you know there was no vandalism no craziness going on like i said it was all
00:15:28.540 high fives. It was all love. Um, until they, the police blocked off certain trucks that were just
00:15:36.080 rolling behind, uh, the motorcyclists. And then, uh, as soon as they blocked them off,
00:15:40.900 they started arresting them and towing their vehicles. And then that's what created this
00:15:44.860 whole entire rideau battle of rideau, as some would call it. Um, and it's simply because the
00:15:51.280 police just arrested people and then towed their vehicles away, even though they simply stated,
00:15:56.400 we are allowed to do this you know this is just a roll through right we're not going to be parked
00:16:01.580 up nowhere we're just going to simply roll along you know on rideau throw ottawa and then peacefully
00:16:06.600 go about our business and go on our way that's all it was do you think the cops were keyed up
00:16:10.740 from the freedom convoy i mean this happened just a couple of months after the freedom convoy
00:16:15.460 actually yeah a couple of months after the freedom convoy was busted up forcefully so
00:16:20.660 these guys were probably on their guard and i'm not defending them don't get me wrong i mean they
00:16:25.480 could have handled this way better than they did but was that the mood from the cops yes yeah you're
00:16:32.200 you're spot on you're spot on for sure they still they still had it out for us uh from the ottawa
00:16:38.200 from the convoy there in ottawa for sure and you could definitely you could definitely tell during
00:16:42.780 the uh the rolling thunder um event so how many people were at the uh the rolling thunder event
00:16:48.200 all together in your opinion i mean i know you haven't gotten exact numbers yes yeah well in
00:16:53.740 my guess i would say maybe a couple thousand for sure there was there was a lot of people throughout
00:16:59.520 the entire weekend thousands you know so after they arrested you threw you in the back of a car
00:17:06.440 they take you down to the station what happened after that uh so they take me down to the station
00:17:11.700 i inform them that my finger is in pain and if somebody can take a look at it you know because
00:17:18.000 i can feel my heartbeat in my finger which is not a normal sign right so you're probably still in
00:17:23.540 shock too right i mean oh yeah oh my adrenaline yeah exactly like what am i doing here why am i
00:17:29.000 here locked up uh you know yeah exactly so my adrenaline was still going for sure um but
00:17:34.220 eventually it wore off and then i started feeling my heartbeat in my finger um did tell them a few
00:17:40.020 times if they can come take a look at it of course nobody came to take a look at it i think within
00:17:44.020 the last 30 minutes of them having me for their for hours in their cellar i think the last 30
00:17:49.420 minutes before they let me go they gave me an ice pack and just basically said screw you kind of
00:17:54.440 how long were you in custody uh so what have i was in there so the first they put me in a paddy
00:18:01.660 wagon um by myself and then they kind of drove around for a bit and then just left us in the
00:18:07.540 actual police station in the paddy wagon um for roughly around a couple hours two hours and then
00:18:14.240 i was in the cell for three four hours maybe so maybe six hours altogether were you bailed out
00:18:22.340 the next day or did they just release you on your own they just released me on my own no no bailed
00:18:28.020 and didn't need to see the judge the next day they just let me go and i was like huh like what
00:18:33.360 what's going on here like if i if i did what you allegedly are saying that i did why would you just
00:18:39.460 let me go the same night that's i've never heard that before i've never heard of an officer getting
00:18:43.780 almost de-armed supposedly right and then a haymaker punch as the officer stated on the
00:18:50.300 stand before you get into that because i don't want to get into the court case just yet were
00:18:54.160 you charged that night or the next day before they released you or did they wait to charge you
00:18:59.600 um so they waited to charge me um so they just released me i had to sign off to get my belongings
00:19:06.680 back wallet and phone and um i had to sign off stating that i will appear in court on this date
00:19:13.620 you know because of this matter and uh then i yeah found out maybe like a day day two after
00:19:21.040 that uh that yeah they're going to be trying to charge me and i was like wow this is pretty
00:19:25.720 ridiculous here these are pretty serious charges were you surprised i mean like going after a cop
00:19:30.920 they said that what were the the charges exactly was it assault yeah so it was uh uh taking away 0.94
00:19:39.120 an officer's weapon and um sorry disarming of an officer's weapon and assault on a peace officer
00:19:46.040 which is ironic they call themselves peace officers because they they're the exact opposite
00:19:51.160 right so it's crazy but not peace exactly yeah okay so then you you you find out you're being
00:19:58.800 charged a couple of days later but before that i want to go back to this video here because this
00:20:03.000 is the very next day am i am i right we're at still at the rolling thunder event and you're
00:20:09.480 addressing the crowd the next day with a throbbing finger still yeah that's correct yeah this is a
00:20:14.480 apartment he'll be the next day after the arrest okay so before we end this offer guys i just want
00:20:21.640 to say i love you guys so much i haven't had so much support i've lost so much family but i've
00:20:29.280 Gain so much more.
00:20:33.260 My feet, this guy, speak.
00:20:35.480 When you guys are up to me, say it loud, strong and proud.
00:20:40.220 Hey, guys.
00:20:41.420 United we stand!
00:20:42.660 United we stand!
00:20:44.280 United we stand!
00:20:45.540 United we stand!
00:20:46.960 United we stand!
00:20:48.300 United we stand!
00:20:49.560 United we stand!
00:20:50.880 United we stand!
00:20:57.120 Cassius, did the crowd know?
00:20:59.280 what you had been through at that point i mean you were scheduled to perform that day did you
00:21:05.180 go through with the performance i did go through the performance yes and uh only i would say only
00:21:11.380 a select few knew what had happened uh the night prior i think everybody else had no clue they just
00:21:17.720 maybe thought the emotions were uh kicking in because of all the love and support that was
00:21:22.660 given maybe they thought that it just kind of hit me like wow look at all this love that that was a
00:21:26.840 main thing of it but it was also because of what i had went through the night prior and uh also i
00:21:33.040 also got threatened and to not go to parliament hill the next day to perform which i did find
00:21:38.100 that kind of weird so i'm like oh so you guys do know that i'm an artist then you do know that i
00:21:41.620 perform because how else would you tell me not to go and perform tomorrow at parliament hill
00:21:46.560 the police threatened you yeah that's what they had said to me and they said if we do see you at
00:21:52.020 parliament hill tomorrow then all the charges that we're going to charge you with they will stick
00:21:56.600 and i'm like well it doesn't work like that and i'm like because i i do know you know i do know
00:22:03.160 my rights and things like that at least you know a good amount right so i know by them saying that
00:22:07.860 verbally i'm like yeah it doesn't it doesn't work like that so they're trying to scare you to make
00:22:12.320 sure that they're trying to bust up this whole thing that's amazing one thing that you said in
00:22:16.860 that address to the crowd there which i thought was really cool and uh it's been kind of a running
00:22:22.700 theme of this show for the past three years is you've lost so much family in the past couple
00:22:29.360 of years but you've gained it all back in another way can you explain that a bit more yes so um
00:22:36.540 when i mean that i i don't actually mean like my personal family but people that i have called
00:22:43.120 family um growing up you know people that i've known since my childhood um that have completely
00:22:48.860 just locked me off um you know because of my me voicing out my opinions on you know what was
00:22:55.020 happening um and it was hurtful because like i said a lot of those friends were like family to
00:23:01.300 me um my family actually is supportive of everything that uh that i've been doing everything
00:23:07.140 that the movement is about um but that's what i meant by losing family but gained so much more
00:23:11.500 in the sense that people from all over not even just canada but even people coming from different
00:23:16.640 parts of the countries you know just to to see what's really happening in the peace and the love
00:23:22.220 right because social media not social media actually i'm going to say the the news platforms
00:23:27.840 you know the main news sources corporate media we call them exactly there you go there you go
00:23:35.380 they have the power to make uh bad people look good and good people look bad and that's exactly
00:23:40.980 what they've been doing this entire time so it's just i gained so much family and love in the sense
00:23:47.200 that people from all over you know we we all join together for one thing you know there's a lot of
00:23:55.280 people who have gone through the exact same thing that you're describing right now and if if you
00:24:02.660 don't want to do this i'll totally understand without naming names can you give us one example
00:24:07.600 of something that's happened between some of these folks that you felt like close with like family
00:24:13.180 that broke broke up your relationship oh most definitely um yeah i have uh there's so many
00:24:23.020 um it's pretty sad don't name names man you don't have to name names we don't embarrass anybody 0.98
00:24:27.980 yeah no words giving us your experience yeah um so i've been called an idiot that um you have no 0.96
00:24:37.060 idea what you're even fighting for um i can't believe you know somebody that i know is a part 0.99
00:24:43.140 of this well they called it racist movement and all of these things like that and uh it's just
00:24:51.200 it's it's heartbreaking you know it really is yeah you're black right yeah i i'm mixed yeah i
00:24:57.720 am a french jamaican french jamaican so how on earth could that make you racist according to
00:25:04.860 this new sort of definition of it it doesn't make any sense it makes absolutely no sense at all
00:25:11.980 you know just the fact that they're even trying to claim the movement as being racist is beyond me
00:25:16.840 i like just like what i said right they're trying to make good people look bad right so yeah yeah
00:25:22.080 bad people look good so all right so you got yourself a court date then how long did it take
00:25:26.060 to get the court that you waited for a year and a half for this trial right yeah a whole year and a
00:25:30.420 yeah so when did you finally get the court date after the charges so um i got the
00:25:38.460 court date i believe it was probably maybe around a week it was it was fairly quick okay it was
00:25:44.760 fairly quick yeah and then you reached out to the jccf or did they reach out to you how did that
00:25:50.120 work out the i well originally i met up with well i didn't meet up i called contacted um
00:25:58.100 diana magus diane magus who is um tamera lynch's lawyer yeah and uh i got a hold of her
00:26:06.680 um and everything was okay i sent the footage that i got from rebel news alexa from rebel news
00:26:12.960 sent all the footage thank you by the way thank you for pointing that out because i'd seen in
00:26:17.980 your interview with greg wycliffe last week that she was the one who came up with that video footage
00:26:23.140 and i looked all over for that this afternoon so thank you for sending me that earlier today i
00:26:27.060 appreciate that as well and then alexa you definitely deserve a shout out for this for
00:26:31.160 sure yeah no huge shout out to alexa from rebel news um just like what you said save literally
00:26:38.600 saved my life so um but um oh geez you know what just remind me again where are we i just got a
00:26:46.580 rebel news in my head dad i was like oh wait hold on so you reached out to the lawyer you set the
00:26:51.500 video and then you uh I guess you made a deal she was going to represent you in this case
00:26:57.360 there you go yeah sorry about that yeah so uh yeah Diana Magus um so everything was working good
00:27:03.560 uh sent her the video of what had happened um she's like yep we can take care of this for you
00:27:08.680 we'll basically represent you so I was very happy about that um and then because everybody was
00:27:14.340 referring me to her right so I was very happy about that and then I think maybe months or well
00:27:20.120 I guess over a year passes now. And then unfortunately they had lost funding,
00:27:24.740 um, to, to basically, you know, help and support, uh, financially, which was, uh, which was like,
00:27:32.720 Oh, geez, that, you know, that really stings, you know, but, um, but they managed to help us out.
00:27:39.020 They referred us to another set of lawyers, um, the advocate, uh, justice advocate of Canada.
00:27:45.640 If, if I pronounce, if that's it, I can't even remember the exact name. I think that's it though.
00:27:50.120 Um, yeah. And then I met up with a team here who was my lawyer and, um, he did a great job.
00:27:55.780 He did a very good job. What was the waiting like for this trial?
00:28:01.380 It was, it was, uh, it was draining. Um, I think for the first time I can actually say I was
00:28:08.400 depressed, um, in life, you know, it was, it was, it was tough, you know, it's kind of beyond words.
00:28:16.700 i was just didn't want to do nothing um it's always there right it's always in the background
00:28:23.600 exactly and speaking of it's always in the background i could be having a good time
00:28:27.920 one day and i'll totally forget about it and i'm having a blast everything's going good
00:28:32.120 and then boom yeah man i i gotta i gotta go to court because they're saying that i 0.97
00:28:38.860 i did all this crap you know and it's like these cops are corrupt you know like is the judge going 0.98
00:28:45.160 to be corrupt? Am I actually going to be one of those victims that, you know, are innocently 0.99
00:28:49.440 thrown into jail and my life is now ruined and I'm going to have a documentary 30 years down the
00:28:54.860 road saying, oh yeah, well, they let me go 25 years later and, you know, they finally knew it
00:28:59.500 wasn't me. And, you know, so I was worried, I was stressed, depressed. What kind of penalties
00:29:04.800 were you facing if you were convicted of this? They say nine months and they said, if you're
00:29:11.920 good maybe six months interesting that tamara leach and chris barber are on trial right now
00:29:18.600 and they're facing penalties of 10 years for mischief and these police officers said that you
00:29:24.120 took a swing at them and you tried to disarm one of them and you were facing six to nine months
00:29:29.420 that's just doesn't seem right there's something wrong with our justice system man oh yeah so
00:29:34.760 anyway let's get into the court you get into the court you must have been nervous as hell
00:29:39.820 oh yeah yeah i was very nervous um walked into court um had you ever even been in a court before
00:29:47.340 like defending yourself has this ever happened i mean you seem like a young guy yeah this is my
00:29:52.360 first time um even when they checked my record uh it was funny because the night that they did
00:29:58.200 arrest me they're like is there anything on your record do you have any records or anything like
00:30:01.740 that and i'm like no and then they kind of looked at both of each other officers looked at each
00:30:05.120 other like well we'll check you know like let me let me type your name and what's your id gave them
00:30:09.540 well, they already had my ID, typed my name in and it was clear. And they were just like,
00:30:12.800 kind of shocked, like, oh, okay, well, clear record. So yeah, this is new. This was new.
00:30:19.180 Um, I was nervous, you know, most definitely I was nervous. Um, but yeah, so I walk into the
00:30:25.140 courtroom, um, you know, just however courtroom starts officer came in, he did his, uh, well,
00:30:32.380 first officer, he did his testimony or, you know, went on the stand and said all of his life,
00:30:37.360 all his lies um hold it just a minute because this to me is interesting um i was in court
00:30:46.180 in january over a covid ticket two covid tickets i got convicted of one but not the other which is
00:30:51.940 a whole other story but i watched these guys lie to the judge and i went how can you even sit there
00:30:58.880 and say this in good conscience you you must have been boiling over inside or maybe it was just a
00:31:03.760 sense of disbelief as you're sitting there in the courtroom watching an officer of the law
00:31:09.480 lie bald-faced to a judge right yeah it's absurd it's absurd and the fact that there's not much
00:31:18.520 penalty towards those officers when they get caught even doing so you know it's just maybe
00:31:23.560 demoted in the sense that you have to go do some desk work maybe you know or you have to go do
00:31:28.760 traffic duty or construction duty for for a bit but you're still getting the same pay though don't
00:31:33.060 worry about it but we just have to do something else get you away i was i was going to ask you
00:31:37.720 and i didn't realize if you knew or not if these cops had been penalized for any of this and they
00:31:43.000 just got desk duty i i don't know that for a fact that's just what i'm assuming um you know that's
00:31:50.280 just an assumption right but i have to look is it seems a pretty serious charge they're perjured
00:31:54.340 themselves on the stand yeah so okay so the prosecution goes first and they've got to make
00:32:01.500 their case so they bring up that officer and then three others come up and they corroborate this
00:32:06.440 guy's story am i right yeah they corroborate uh yeah in the in the story that i allegedly took
00:32:12.860 the weapon and punched the officer haymaker sorry the officer and because of this they said haymaker
00:32:19.380 yeah that was the term they used haymaker because it doesn't look like that in the video
00:32:24.120 now their lawyer the crown prosecutor must have known that you guys had the video because of the
00:32:30.320 discovery rules in court and yet they went ahead with this absurd charge um surprisingly i don't
00:32:39.440 think the crown knew about the video evidence because even the crown was absolutely shocked
00:32:46.920 when he seen the video he even had to get up out of his seat and go closer to watch the video and
00:32:52.340 he's like can you play it back can you replay that back please can you play it back please
00:32:56.040 yeah he was in shock and it he was actually pretty upset at the officers after he's seen
00:33:02.000 the footage because he's like i can't believe you guys like are you guys serious right now
00:33:06.120 really all four of you guys would understand he's like because i'm sure he did a lot of
00:33:10.560 you know work himself right the crown had to come up with a big case i'm sure he did a lot
00:33:14.880 of research of course most definitely right and then just for it to get thrown right out the
00:33:19.340 window when my lawyer's like oh yeah we have video by the way and everybody was like you should have
00:33:24.460 seen the officer's faces oh man priceless absolutely priceless so my lawyer would let
00:33:31.940 them dig themselves a big hole and oh really okay he did that as well oh really he did that
00:33:37.840 and what time did he do that oh one minute right before the arrest yeah it was just one minute
00:33:41.840 right before the arrest my lawyer's like okay so we have video right now that we're gonna pull up
00:33:45.400 for you this is the best story that i've heard in weeks man thank you for this i appreciate it
00:33:52.040 under cross-examination these officers lied their faces up how long did it take the judge
00:33:57.400 to dismiss this thing once the video was played um it was the the next day the next day the judge
00:34:04.620 waited that long yeah i know well he still didn't hear he still i guess he still wanted to hear what
00:34:09.380 i had to say and what my friend had to say as well but um i'm sure he had his mind set from
00:34:15.220 the first day as all four officers lied and then we show the video and it's they're like yeah no
00:34:20.400 he didn't do anything at all so i'm sure he had his mindset then but so i guess he wanted to hear
00:34:24.760 yeah he let the officers lie their faces off one day you come back the next day you give your
00:34:30.360 testimony your friend gives his testimony how long did it take then for a decision
00:34:35.800 uh surprisingly it still took the the whole day um 10 to 4 yeah it still took the uh the whole day
00:34:47.060 So it was, uh, myself and my buddy, Devin, uh, we testified and then I guess the lawyers,
00:34:53.880 my lawyer in the crown had to do their disputes on reasonable doubt or if it's not reasonable
00:34:58.980 doubt.
00:34:59.580 I don't really know all that lawyer stuff, but you know what I'm talking, pretty sure
00:35:02.280 you know what I'm saying.
00:35:02.880 And then after that, then the judge just kind of ripped them a new one.
00:35:09.440 Okay.
00:35:09.900 Okay.
00:35:10.300 I got to hear what the judge said.
00:35:11.520 What did the judge say?
00:35:12.420 Yeah.
00:35:12.700 Okay.
00:35:13.060 So one thing the judge said, can you remember everything the judge said, or are you just
00:35:16.920 going to give us some select quotes because i really need to hear this i think definitely
00:35:20.940 well i'm i'm going to be getting the transcripts but um these are just what i'm going to be saying
00:35:25.860 right now is select quotes that definitely stood out and uh stayed there so it was is that
00:35:31.900 all of the officers none of their stories match up align with one another um the officers
00:35:40.120 contradict each other and they contradict themselves um i have three big question marks
00:35:46.760 beside three officers statements um he's like every he's like they're they're they're very
00:35:54.520 muddy he's like everything was muddy they were very muddy and when i heard that i kind of was
00:36:00.780 like drawn back like muddy like oh man like i know he's trying to say they weren't clear on
00:36:05.060 their answers but at the same time i'm like is he also saying muddy because they're dirty
00:36:08.780 so that kind of that's what stuck to me because that's what i'm thinking right muddy i'm like yeah
00:36:13.360 they are dirty you know and i'm like also they were unclear which makes sense um but um were
00:36:19.660 these officers all male officers cassius three of them were male and one of them was female
00:36:25.540 and the female officer was the one that um was saying that i didn't ask for any medical attention
00:36:31.540 on my finger which i couldn't even believe i was like what like what is going on here like now
00:36:35.640 there's a fourth because originally there's three and then a fourth officer now came in
00:36:39.080 and i was like okay i don't know what's going on is all police department gonna come in here now
00:36:42.920 no no there's something about the police actually saying that they were in fear
00:36:47.220 for their safety in that moment too yes yes one of the officers did say that he said he was
00:36:54.580 uh scared for his safety um that people were grabbing his vest that people were hitting him
00:37:00.820 that um skateboards were getting thrown water bottles thrown um people getting people hitting
00:37:08.160 them with flags and hockey sticks and just a whole bunch of absurd things that he was saying
00:37:13.160 and it just everything backfired because as soon as they we played the video you could see it's
00:37:18.780 just yeah just people just there you know nothing bad happening are you i i can't really tell how
00:37:25.100 tall you are from this little video screen that we're on are you a tall bigger fella or yeah i'm
00:37:30.640 yeah i'm six foot three i weigh 185 pounds okay so so you're not like a huge muscle guy but you
00:37:38.220 are a tall cat yeah and these cops what about them were they big guys or and there's three
00:37:43.900 three guys and one woman all trained yeah uh the the main officer that was accusing me of doing
00:37:50.420 these things um he's probably like almost six he's like six four six four and a half he's definitely
00:37:56.280 taller than me maybe he has his combat boots on as well so maybe he's my height but just raised
00:38:00.480 up a little bit with the boots but yeah no he was he was taller than me definitely a bigger stock
00:38:05.180 than me for sure yeah um and all wearing tactical gear as we saw from the video they had their
00:38:10.460 shields on they had their vests on they had their weapons out i'm sure their tasers were out as well
00:38:15.020 and yeah or were they i i don't want to speculate on that oh no i see an ottawa officer last week
00:38:21.240 pointing a taser at some people which i could see that yeah i did see that no but no they i didn't
00:38:26.180 see any officers with their taser out just uh batons and just tactical actually there were
00:38:30.840 some officers with some big guns in the background they weren't pointing at anybody it was like to
00:38:35.920 the ground but you seen it strapped you know to them yeah which was kind of crazy so that afternoon
00:38:42.480 of the second day the the judge said you guys are all effed up and you're free to go sir and that
00:38:49.520 was the end of it right yeah oh yeah and then I broke down in tears and yeah I was just so thankful
00:38:55.060 you know just so relieved just all the crap over that year and a half I'm happy to hear that you
00:39:02.120 were acquitted uh rightfully so Cassius and the the last question I have for you is can you get
00:39:10.460 retribution for this is there some way that you can go ahead and sue these guys um I believe so
00:39:16.160 i did ask my lawyer um he said yeah of course you have means to sue for sure um but he just doesn't
00:39:22.040 have he's just a defense lawyer and he has no one to refer me to um but a lot of people are also
00:39:28.320 telling me to go and do it on my own no no no no that's what i said because i'm like listen i don't
00:39:33.940 know about none of this stuff here okay guys like so i don't think i should do that on my own i want
00:39:37.960 somebody that knows what they're doing yeah i i'm gonna i'm gonna email you after the show tonight
00:39:43.500 with and i'm going to call the guy personally tomorrow and see if he can handle it and if not
00:39:48.320 nicholas wans butter is his name he's been on the show a couple of times he's a good guy
00:39:52.000 and if he can't personally do it then i'm going to make sure that he can refer you to somebody who
00:39:57.900 can't because a lawyer in this situation will take a cut of what of whatever it is you get right so i
00:40:04.280 don't believe they would even charge you uh to take the case because they know that you're going
00:40:08.980 to win it right right it's oh for sure yeah most definitely yeah but i i really appreciate that
00:40:16.060 thank you thank you so and absolutely i'm going to do that i don't just say things and then not
00:40:20.880 follow through your new song how when did this come out like just a couple of days after you
00:40:26.320 were found not guilty of these crimes did it take you that long to write it or have you been working
00:40:30.860 on this for a while so i was working on this for maybe a few months um so for the first few months
00:40:39.820 of me waiting for the the trial you know like i said i was i was feeling really down i wasn't
00:40:46.000 doing anything and then maybe halfway through getting to the point of the trial um i just got
00:40:52.320 convinced just i want to write a song i want to let this out i want to let you know whatever i'm
00:40:57.540 feeling on the inside out right now because i didn't know how to do it verbally you know to
00:41:02.540 like my my friends and family right so i'm like i gotta let people know how i feel through my new
00:41:07.840 song here and that's when i created time of my life and then i released it i think it was two
00:41:13.160 days or one day after i got acquitted of all the charges yeah man i just saw the data on your
00:41:20.460 youtube so look guys we're gonna play this towards the end of the show i don't want to play it right
00:41:24.920 now i want to play it at the end of the show and here here it is right here um time of my life by

00:42:15.240 I also want to congratulate you on your courage and strength for standing up to all of this.
00:42:20.720 I mean, so many people would have folded like a cheap tent and you didn't for a year and a half, man.
00:42:26.620 So that shows incredible courage.
00:42:28.720 And thank you for that.
00:42:29.940 You're an inspiration to a whole bunch of people.
00:42:32.540 Thank you so much.
00:42:33.080 I really appreciate that.
00:42:34.280 Thank you.
00:42:35.520 And how can people find you on social media, by the way?
00:42:39.480 So my Instagram, which I use mainly, is officialcassiusjulius.
00:42:45.380 I'm also on Twitter.
00:42:47.020 I'm also on Facebook.
00:42:48.820 And those are the main ones there.
00:42:50.720 all right bro thank you for coming on tonight we'll be in touch thank you thank you for having
00:42:55.200 me i really appreciate it all right uh cassius julius everybody on the show tonight and again
00:43:00.960 we're going to play time of my life towards the end of the show i'm looking forward to this
00:43:03.900 to play it for you guys i listened to it a couple of times this afternoon and it's a remarkably
00:43:09.520 happy sounding song considering everything he had been going through then again the lyrics
00:43:16.140 may not exactly it's one of those kind of contrast songs everything sounds so happy
00:43:21.600 but when you listen to the lyrics it's not at all changing gears and this is alarming
00:43:28.780 this comes from american military news.com hamas and you know before i get into this
00:43:39.800 tonight i really want to reiterate to you guys i'm the same as tom marazzo on this and he's
00:43:46.380 been writing about this on facebook and x the past couple of days i have no idea what to believe here
00:43:54.320 but what i do believe is they are trying to scare the hell out of us for what's coming next
00:44:04.380 fear it's all about fear that's their game that's what they deal in they deal in fear
00:44:14.840 having said that apparently hamas is calling for a global jihad invasion of israel attack
00:44:24.640 jews worldwide october the 13th now this has been in the left-wing corporate media
00:44:32.200 for the past day so we're going to read you this story a leader and founding member of Hamas
00:44:41.960 Khalid Mashal reportedly called for a global jihad yesterday asking Muslims around the world
00:44:49.920 to target the people of Israel on Friday the 13th interestingly this Friday video of Michelle's
00:44:58.960 reported call to violence was posted on youtube and remains up on the platform as of wednesday
00:45:04.120 this morning at 10 a.m according to a translation and analysis of the video by author brother
00:45:10.040 rashid michelle referred to his proposed day of anger as the friday of al asqua flood which will
00:45:18.280 send a message of range to zionists and to america the most important thing he asked all muslims
00:45:27.980 around the world to carry jihad by their souls to fight and be martyrs for alaska he wants muslims 0.89
00:45:36.280 to fight against the jews starting with muslims who live in the country surrounding israel jordan 0.77
00:45:41.080 syria lebanon and egypt but also other countries to go to the borders and try to enter each by his
00:45:47.200 own means rashid explained he said this is the time for jihad to be applied on the ground rather
00:45:53.340 than just in theory. He asked the Mujahideen to go in the long caravans to spill their
00:46:00.580 blood on the land of Palestine. Yesterday we reported that 40 babies had been beheaded
00:46:17.620 by the terrorists the israeli army according to aa.com says it does not have confirmation
00:46:25.480 about allegations that hamas beheaded babies an israeli army spokesperson tells anadolu over
00:46:32.060 the phone that they have no information confirming allegations that hamas beheaded babies
00:46:37.960 in other words everything is unclear vladimir putin is weighed in on this of course we all
00:46:46.400 know who he is he's the batman in russia his full statement as posted by censored men on x
00:46:55.260 twitter and this actually makes a whole heck of a lot of sense the expansion of the conflict in
00:47:03.460 the middle east may lead to serious consequences including the energy sector putin said the
00:47:09.880 palestinian problem is in the heart of every muslim and is perceived by them as a manifestation
00:47:15.680 of injustice elevated to an incredible degree. Actions should be taken to reduce the number of 1.00
00:47:21.880 civilian casualties. The United States neglected the mechanisms in the Arab-Israeli conflict zone
00:47:28.620 and relied on the material needs of the people in Palestinian territory. When creating Israel
00:47:34.660 back in 1947, there was also talk about creating a sovereign Palestine, but this
00:47:42.680 was never done. It is unknown whether it will be possible to calm the situation between Israel
00:47:48.680 and Palestine in the near future, but this could lead to big problems. Both in the USA and in
00:47:56.000 Israel, there are many supporters of the creation of an independent Palestinian state, but the
00:48:01.200 forces advocating a military solution are gaining the upper hand. The bitterness in Israel and
00:48:07.480 Palestine is very great, but we must strive to minimize civilian losses, leave children and
00:48:14.240 women alone. The aggravation in Israel will not affect oil production, but it may affect logistics,
00:48:21.040 insurance, freight. The accusations against Iran of involvement in the aggravation of the
00:48:26.940 Palestinian-Israeli conflict are unsubstantiated, Putin says. I don't understand why the United
00:48:33.520 States is pulling aircraft carrier groups towards Israel. This is aggravating the situation.
00:48:40.600 Initially, when the decision was made to create the state of Israel, a parallel decision was made
00:48:46.460 to create a second state. Initially, it was about the creation of two independent and sovereign
00:48:52.460 states, Israel and Palestine. Israel, as you know, was created, but Palestine as an independent and
00:48:59.680 sovereign state was never created. That's what Vladimir Putin said. It sounds like a very
00:49:07.980 even-handed, even-tempered approach to the situation. But notice that Russia has not
00:49:15.220 become involved in any of this, even as the United States have sent a flotilla of warships
00:49:22.160 to the Iranian coast
00:49:25.800 changing gears
00:49:28.600 this is alarming actually 0.62
00:49:31.140 we've heard of the turbo cancers
00:49:35.200 that may be
00:49:37.740 being caused by the you know what
00:49:40.420 and I'm not going to say what it is
00:49:43.340 because we're on YouTube tonight
00:49:45.320 and on Facebook
00:49:46.520 and I want everybody to see
00:49:50.140 I don't want these channels taken down.
00:49:52.940 I mean, I don't care so much about YouTube.
00:49:55.940 But Facebook really helps to get this show out to people who need to hear it.
00:50:00.500 And before I read this, guys, people were asking me last night,
00:50:05.080 I notice your language has softened shadow.
00:50:07.620 And I say, no, not necessarily.
00:50:09.220 You guys know how I feel and what I believe about what's happening.
00:50:14.980 but there are people in the middle and i'm going to use the analogy i've used over and over and
00:50:21.040 over again there are people who are just now waking up to something being wrong in the world
00:50:29.700 drastically wrong the issue is that we're on season 10 episode 4 and many people are on season
00:50:39.680 three, episode two, season two, episode eight, season one, episode one, there are people who
00:50:45.540 are only just now. And I understand this is very difficult for people who have been into this for
00:50:51.880 years. And once you see it, you can't unsee it. I get all of that. But you have to understand there
00:50:58.380 are people who are only just now becoming aware of what's going on in the world. And it's all
00:51:05.300 starting to make sense because when you actually see it then all of those pieces start fitting
00:51:11.480 together like a puzzle don't they it's like looking at one of those 3d pictures i think i
00:51:16.080 i described last night you're looking at that thing going where's the dragon where's the oh
00:51:23.240 there's the dragon and once you see the dragon you can't unsee the dragon but there's still people
00:51:28.900 who can't see the dragon but they're getting closer so we need to be able to speak to those
00:51:37.940 people and you guys who are already well into all of this know everything that's going on anyway
00:51:45.880 we speak in a kind of shorthand in that regard don't we this was posted on x by robin monotti
00:51:54.020 From Angus Dalgleish, who is a professor of oncology at St. George's Hospital Medical School in London, the UK.
00:52:03.860 At the end of last year, I reported that I was seeing melanoma patients who had been stable for years relapse after their first booster, their third injection.
00:52:15.340 I was told it was merely a coincidence and to keep quiet about it, but it became impossible to do so.
00:52:21.380 The number of my patients affected has been rising ever since.
00:52:26.240 I saw two more cases of cancer relapse post-booster vaccination in my patients just this last week.
00:52:35.600 Other oncologists have contacted me from all over the world, including Australia and the United States.
00:52:42.480 The consensus is that it's no longer confined to melanoma,
00:52:46.020 but that increased incidence of lymphomas, leukemias, and kidney cancers is being seen
00:52:50.800 soon after booster injections. Additionally, my colorectal cancer colleagues report an epidemic
00:52:58.920 of explosive cancers, those presenting with multiple metastatic spread in the liver and
00:53:05.160 elsewhere. All these cancers are occurring with very few exceptions in patients who have been
00:53:10.120 forced to have a booster whether they were keen or not for so many so they could travel
00:53:17.400 so why are these cancers occurring t-cell suppression was my first likely explanation
00:53:25.180 giving that immunotherapy is so effective in these cancers however we must also now consider
00:53:30.780 dna plasmid and sv40 integration in promoting cancer development a feature made even more
00:53:37.860 concerning by reports that mRNA spike protein binds P53 and other cancer suppressor genes.
00:53:44.380 It's very clear and very frightening that these vaccines have several elements to cause a perfect
00:53:50.220 storm and cancer development in those patients lucky enough to have avoided heart attacks,
00:53:55.900 clots, strokes, autoimmune diseases, and other common adverse reactions to these shots.
00:54:02.740 to advise booster vaccines as is the current case is no more and no less than medical incompetence
00:54:10.000 to continue to do so with the above information is medical negligence which can carry a custodial
00:54:16.900 sentence no ifs or buts any longer all mrna must be halted and banned now and here is the doctor
00:54:27.180 You're responsible for that essay.
00:54:35.360 Switching gears once again.
00:54:38.460 This from TNC.news.
00:54:40.640 Calgary to vote on forced perpetual anti-racism re-education for counselors.
00:54:52.240 I'm sorry, but this is hilarious.
00:54:54.700 it's so ridiculous that it's hilarious i'm wondering if these counselors were will finally 0.88
00:55:02.040 get up and say i'm sorry but you can all go f yourselves calgary city council members could 0.92
00:55:10.480 soon have to undergo perpetual anti-racism training as the city pursues an amendment
00:55:15.980 to its code of conduct for elected officials today the city's integrity and ethics office
00:55:22.780 recommended that all elected officials attend yearly in-person training and ongoing customized
00:55:28.140 training throughout the year. Counselors will vote during an afternoon meeting of the executive
00:55:33.200 committee. We don't know how they voted. I'm hoping they voted this down, but we don't know
00:55:39.920 the majority, the attitude of the majority of counselors in Calgary. Calgary hopes to avoid
00:55:48.060 provision to mandate anti-racism training facilitated by the ethics advisor this will
00:55:53.060 build awareness knowledge skills on or sorry racial justice and anti-racist leadership my
00:55:58.580 friends this is critical race theory at work in our elected offices
00:56:04.680 critical race theory actually turns logic upside down this is the basis of all the left wing all 0.88
00:56:15.960 the marxist crap that is coming out in the last few years including all this lgbtq nonsense
00:56:21.860 that's what this all is critical theory you can look it up and don't use google use a new search 0.93
00:56:30.600 engine like brave because google is going to get shut down for news in canada anyway in the next
00:56:35.260 couple of months this provision will also impose a duty on members of council to educate themselves
00:56:41.600 about the impact of systematic racism and racial discrimination
00:56:44.720 on indigenous, black, and diverse racialized Calgarians.
00:56:48.360 Of course, there is nothing in there at all about white people. 0.97
00:56:54.300 You can hammer on them all you want. 0.98
00:56:58.360 Oh, oh, speaking of that,
00:57:00.360 if you are in Manitoba and you voted NDP,
00:57:05.020 and given the audience of this show, that's very unlikely.
00:57:11.600 I'm sure if you're in Manitoba and you're watching this show right now, you either voted for the Keystone Party, you voted for the conservatives, or you didn't vote.
00:57:22.300 So, Jalen Dela Cruz is a brand-new NDP MLA in Manitoba, and she posted today on X.
00:57:31.540 Today is National Coming Out Day, and as a newly elected official, I have every intention to be visible and proud.
00:57:38.960 this year radison didn't just elect the youngest woman in manitoba ledge history as their mla
00:57:44.360 she's also queer yay and then she goes on to say i have a partner who has given me his
00:57:51.060 unwavering love a family who makes me feel safe in a community that elected me based on my
00:57:56.060 credentials and story no you don't you have a community that elected you based upon the color
00:58:03.660 of your sign sweetie that being said i never found the need to make a point of my sexuality
00:58:10.320 but now i feel the need to present my whole self
00:58:13.780 to me this day is not meant to pressure people out i went my whole life thus far not telling the
00:58:22.400 need not feeling the need outside of my immediate circle but it's a day to welcome those who seek
00:58:27.800 empowerment to do so if that's you i'm here for it for you that is a member of your new manitoba
00:58:35.940 government yep that's what you voted for you may have thought that you were voting for the working
00:58:44.760 man's party the ndp they're going to stand up for the little guy maybe when they first started out
00:58:51.700 that's what they stood for but not in the past 20 years from post-millennial nbc spreads
00:59:00.660 misinformation on x about community notes and gets corrected by epic community note this is
00:59:07.440 actually very funny i mean it just they continue to shoot themselves in a foot the left-wing
00:59:12.580 corporate media right they yell and scream about disinformation and misinformation and perpetuated
00:59:18.640 themselves, as we all know, but it's beautiful when they get called out like this. NBC News
00:59:25.380 embarrassed itself yesterday after it falsely claimed that it gained access to the systems of
00:59:31.080 X, formerly Twitter, as part of an effort to expose the efficacy of the platform's community
00:59:36.500 notes function. The feature is essentially the X community's form of fact-checking claims on
00:59:42.040 various posts. Elon Musk has touted community notes as a way to fight false and misleading
00:59:47.940 information on X, the outlet wrote on X. And there it is. NBC News gained access to the system and
00:59:57.700 found that on posts containing known misinformation, few posts were ever corrected. Many fact checks
01:00:02.720 were delayed. Soon thereafter, NBC's post was tagged with its own community note. It said,
01:00:11.100 nbc did not gain access to any special twitter system they merely had one of the many thousands
01:00:19.720 of community notes contributors show them that some misleading posts had yet to have any notes
01:00:24.700 added the note clarified any six-month-old account with a verified phone number can join
01:00:29.600 the program users on x mocked nbc news for the ironic moment as well as other instances of the
01:00:35.780 outlet getting slapped with a clarification label like this one community note strikes again
01:00:45.320 nbc desperately trying to maintain their fake narrative it's it's all there
01:00:53.320 so let's let's read this one this is from october the fourth the 24 year old black man has been
01:01:02.560 hospitalized since the incident Friday in which his attorney said officers chased and beat him
01:01:07.020 after he fled from a traffic stop. Readers added context. The suspect was injured only after police
01:01:13.660 tried to arrest him and he refused to comply. The man was accused of murder, was on probation for
01:01:18.600 armed robbery, and had been connected to firearms and drug trafficking. Community notes have more
01:01:24.400 journalistic credibility than news organizations now, especially NBC.
01:01:32.560 A recent update on the status of community notes posted by X explained that as of Monday, more accounts are being granted access to the feature.
01:01:41.540 Community notes typically appear within minutes of content posting, X explained.
01:01:45.860 Notes on photos and videos also appear whenever the media is reposted by other users.
01:01:50.720 This is a critical tool for helping to combat potential misinformation.
01:01:54.660 so before you start yelling and screaming misinformation nbc news maybe check out to
01:02:01.300 see how the system functions first just saying all right guys i'm going to wrap up the show tonight

01:03:03.340 There's not much more I could say, but
01:03:05.920 If hate is in their eyes, every time you come around
01:03:08.560 Still feeding you with lies, you don't have to block the ground
01:03:11.260 Just keep your spirit, but don't ever let them bring you down

01:03:15.560 Because all my life I thought so hard to get by
01:03:19.520 Now I might have the time of my life

01:03:25.140 So happy that you changed my mind

01:03:30.600 I know that everything will be alright

01:03:36.040 Now I'm the happy time of my life
01:03:38.820 Life can bring you pain
01:03:45.300 Never be too ashamed
01:03:46.680 It's not too late to pray
01:03:48.060 You're sinking, wash away
01:03:49.340 My mind has changed its frame
01:03:50.700 Since now that I've been saved
01:03:52.080 I'm never changed for change, because it's about the fame
01:03:54.820 This body's bad, it's pure, it's always trying to fight me
01:03:57.560 Regardless how much good I do, they still despise me
01:04:00.260 So when I'm strong, I stand stronger behind me
01:04:02.940 I will never leave you astray
01:04:04.660 Because all my life I've fought so hard to get by
01:04:08.600 Now I might have the time of my life
01:04:11.480 Even though I thought of giving up at times
01:04:14.240 So happy that you changed my mind
01:04:16.720 As long as you are by my side
01:04:19.680 I know that everything will be alright
01:04:22.060 All my life I've fought so hard to get by
01:04:24.940 Now I'ma have a time of my time to relax and breathe
01:04:28.940 Slow down, don't speak, just have faith, believe
01:04:31.540 Despite all the mockery, one day you'll see
01:04:34.360 How far you can reach, but practice what you preach
01:04:37.080 And the truth will set you free
01:04:38.240 Try to forgive, it's not easy, it's hard to please, true indeed
01:04:41.040 Try my best to find some peace, guess that's not enough it seems
01:04:43.760 Spreading hate like a disease, I'm in you, no stopping me
01:04:46.500 Dreams come true, you best believe, look until your heart is weak
01:04:48.860 Because all my life, I fought so hard to get by.
01:04:53.220 No, I'ma have the time of my life, even though I thought of giving up at times.
01:04:58.420 So happy that you changed my mind.
01:05:00.600 As long as you are by my side, I know that everything will be alright.
01:05:05.760 All my life, I fought so hard to get by.
01:05:09.580 No, I'ma have the time of my life.
01:05:11.520 Life, life, life, life, life.
01:05:15.220 I'ma have the time of my life, my life.

01:05:48.860 Thank you.
01:06:18.860 Thank you.
