00:05:39.940 Robert's watching.
00:05:40.780 Hello, Dorothy from...
00:05:43.780 Doesn't say.
00:05:45.780 Pauline is watching from Huntsville.
00:05:47.780 Wow.
00:05:50.940 It seems to be a little more populated tonight than normal.
00:05:54.800 And I think the reason for that is what happened last night.
00:05:57.760 I explained in the show I did this morning what happened last night,
00:06:01.900 even though I don't have a clear understanding of it.
00:06:04.200 But I think what happened was Facebook live streaming was just down last night,
00:06:08.380 and the streaming platform I used was not able to connect with any of the other platforms,
00:06:14.000 not really anyway, not very well, any of the other platforms I used.
00:06:17.680 So last night's show was a bust.
00:06:20.140 So I redid that show this morning at 10 o'clock central,
00:06:24.800 And then, this afternoon, I asked my guest tonight to come on the show, and he said, absolutely, I will.
00:06:32.880 So we're going to bring him on in just a second, but first, let's introduce him just a little bit here from this article from the Justice Center for Constitutional Freedoms.
00:06:44.600 This came out last July or August, I think it was.
00:06:47.660 There he is right there.
00:06:49.220 Dana Lee Melfi, peaceman from Ontario, or sorry, from Ottawa protest represented by Justice Center against mischief charges.
00:06:56.820 Now, he's going to tell us all kinds of different things about the court cases he's involved with.
00:07:03.160 But let's talk about this one for just a second.
00:07:05.760 The Justice Center has taken the case of Dana Lee Melfi, popularly known as peaceman during the Ottawa Freedom Convoy.
00:07:12.440 Mr. Melfi was arrested on Saturday, February 19th, 2022 in Ottawa during a peaceful protest
00:07:18.520 on various mischief related charges, including mischief, mischief to property, disobeying a lawful
00:07:26.200 order and obstructing justice. Mr. Melfi maintains his innocence and states that the right of peaceful
00:07:32.120 protest is fundamental to a healthy democracy. And he's absolutely right in saying that. Here
00:07:37.940 are some amazing pictures from peacemans exploits through the streets of ottawa in january and
00:07:46.040 february of this year these are on the website peace-man.ca there he is that's one of the iconic
00:07:51.720 ones i mean it's everywhere the the long flowing beard the hat oh that's not a very good one because
00:08:03.640 we can't really see him we can see the people he's with as we move through these shots though
00:08:08.860 i mean this is there are so many of them there he is holding the line
00:08:13.880 there's another one yeah yeah i think these are truly iconic and a great representation of what
00:08:25.840 the freedom convoy in ottawa was all about so let's bring them on now from the backwoods near
00:08:31.300 the nation's capital dana lee melfi peace man welcome to the show and thank you for coming on
00:08:38.300 tonight hey ace long time fan uh so listen let's let's start off with that uh justice center case
00:08:49.380 that i was just talking about where are we at with that right now what's going on
00:08:52.680 uh actually on the 28th i do believe uh i will be appearing again i can't talk too much about
00:09:07.040 the case itself i have to be very very careful i have agreements and things like that like
00:09:13.820 the wonderful justice senate for constitutional freedoms you know picking up my case and helping
00:09:20.460 me out and uh you know they didn't do that for everybody so uh i mean they're representing
00:09:27.020 tamara and myself and uh i can't thank them enough so i gotta try to be very good to them
00:09:34.700 uh my case i'm sorry i'm sorry go ahead go ahead nope nope uh go ahead i just want to explain to
00:09:43.840 the viewers tonight that because you are in the backwoods of ontario you're in the mountains and
00:09:49.340 the internet signal is going to be a little bit different than normal tonight you are a little
00:09:53.160 bit blurry on our screen but that was to be expected but there is a delay of a couple of
00:09:58.300 seconds so dana can't hear me uh i guess the two-second delay guy so i'm going to wait for
00:10:04.800 him to respond and that that's how it's going to go tonight but that's not really a big barrier
00:10:09.540 to our conversation anyway you were talking about the case so please continue
00:10:14.380 yeah so uh i i will be appearing again on the 28th it'll be the sixth time i do believe and uh
00:10:26.840 it's going good um one thing i want to tell you is i will never plead guilty
00:10:34.760 to some thing i've been accused of that i'm not guilty of uh i've been
00:10:42.840 working within the government for 26 years or more uh which means i've been security cleared
00:10:53.240 and everything else i've never broken a law never convicted of anything like that
00:10:59.740 uh and i did i made a promise to my mother that i wouldn't break any laws if i went
00:11:05.540 ottawa and protested and i did not so what happened then i mean there was a lot of people
00:11:12.400 who were i think unduly charged or charged with a very very very minor offense and then jailed
00:11:19.220 for a very long time what was your situation um well actually mine was well documented because
00:11:28.860 the helicopters caught it and that's what you seen on ctv was uh you see you you got to remember
00:11:36.860 there was i was standing on top of the shed okay the shed is an iconic uh truck that was downtown
00:11:44.900 uh when i went to the con to the protest i didn't know anybody in the convoy or anybody that was
00:11:54.960 going i went by myself there is a video on the 26th of january where i'm standing here and i
00:12:03.900 tell the world why i'm going so before i even went and i knew what was going to happen was the
00:12:11.780 bad press i knew that so i had to think of something that would be good and uh you know
00:12:19.040 there's so many wonderful people across canada that that stood up to their country uh but any
00:12:27.720 any type of dirt that they can find on you and everybody's got dirt you know they will use it
00:12:36.520 and they will they will blow it up and i seen that happening and i was sitting here i had just
00:12:44.000 gone through a couple years of very bad years i lost the love of my life to cancer
00:12:51.100 sorry
00:12:54.680 i'm sorry sorry and uh i lost my best friend and another friend and uh i came here and i sat here
00:13:11.280 for a year and i call it my year of clarity because what i did was i sat here and i meditated
00:13:17.540 for a year. I went into town once a month. I'd barely seen anybody, but I was watching this
00:13:26.520 craziness go on, and I'm a writer. I write, and I put it out on Facebook, and I was demonized. I was
00:13:34.340 attacked by my family, by my friends, but I kept up with it. I kept on with it, but I was also
00:13:43.480 doing other things in the background which we've talked about and we're going to talk about more
00:13:48.420 later on uh i was doing other things in the background because i'm a government employee
00:13:54.800 that uh i got sick and uh it has to do with emotion and uh i don't discuss my medical
00:14:04.820 but it has to do with emotion and uh i have two dislocated shoulders so um i was the simple way
00:14:14.640 to tell it is i was born with uh depleted oil sacks between my bone so if i raise my arm above
00:14:24.380 here it dislocates it causes pain chronic pain and all of this stuff so after i turned 50
00:14:31.880 it started to hurt more as you know you know so um so i sat here for a year of clarity and i was
00:14:44.360 watching what was going on i'm a tech guy so i have a lot of eyes and uh um i thought about it
00:14:54.160 I thought, what could we do?
00:14:56.360 And I didn't know anybody, so I decided that I would go.
00:15:01.320 And, you know, my parents were not into this.
00:15:07.880 We did not agree, let's say.
00:15:12.580 But one thing that they've always pounded into us as children was, it's your choice.
00:15:19.460 Your choice.
00:15:20.300 It was your choice.
00:15:21.360 It's your choice.
00:15:22.640 Always.
00:15:23.120 That was the biggest thing in our lives, actually, because, you know, I taught myself how to how to learn.
00:15:33.540 I didn't do schooling very well, so I learned everything.
00:15:40.840 I ran one of the biggest bulletin board systems before the Internet in North America called the Land of BBS.
00:15:48.240 And we turned that into the Internet like a long time ago.
00:15:53.120 to test hotmail before it came out you know things like that so um so when you decided
00:16:04.500 dana lee to come into ottawa by yourself not knowing anybody and living the way you live i
00:16:12.680 mean especially after your year of clarity you pretty much spent that year by yourself
00:16:17.860 to be surrounded by all of these people how did that feel it hell it was very different shadow
00:16:26.640 it was really it was weird it was but you know what uh you watched a video that i haven't put
00:16:35.180 out there i i allowed you to watch it and and some lawyers and things like that and uh there's
00:16:42.380 Some little subtitles in there that say, you know, as I walked up that street, I felt more and more confident because of the people, because of the interactions.
00:16:55.540 And, you know, that's what Peaceful Assembly is all about, is to be able to talk to people.
00:17:04.480 And we'd been locked down for two years.
00:17:07.320 We couldn't talk to our neighbors, not even online or anywhere else.
00:17:11.340 So to be able to physically go and talk to people and instantly you're starting to get hugs.
00:17:18.940 And you will see in that video was the 26th of January.
00:17:23.920 That was before everybody had shown up, but there was still a bit of people already there and had already started.
00:17:34.480 The love had already started the love in.
00:17:38.220 and uh you know i did on the 28th uh randomly i was selected by the canadian press to do a
00:17:49.860 interview and i was nobody i was just a guy standing there but i said to them i said this
00:17:57.980 is a love-in it's like we're in the 70s fighting for our freedoms again and uh a couple hours later
00:18:06.620 I'm still standing in the same spot, and she comes back to me and says, we've done thousands of little interviews and stuff, and our editor wants to highlight yours.
00:18:18.880 I said, well, great.
00:18:20.040 What newspaper?
00:18:21.020 She said, all of them.
00:18:22.840 What do you mean?
00:18:25.200 And she said, no, you'll see.
00:18:27.660 Just type in love in, love dash in, or this is a love in or something tomorrow.
00:18:34.320 So I went down to Ottawa with no technology.
00:18:40.320 I even bought a $80 burner phone.
00:18:43.900 I didn't want, I wasn't there to take pictures.
00:18:46.320 I wasn't there to party.
00:18:47.600 I wasn't there to drink.
00:18:48.920 I wasn't there to smoke.
00:18:50.260 I was there because of what I seen was going to happen.
00:18:55.060 And what that is, is the bad press was going to do something.
00:18:59.660 So I kind of foreseen that.
00:19:01.520 And at first I was standing on Parliament Hill. You'll notice the very early shots. And there's a couple early videos of me even taking a rest and laying down and talking to my $80 phone.
00:19:13.360 and but as I was standing on Parliament Hill I had a direct sight line to the trucks on the left
00:19:24.540 hand side as you're looking away from the Parliament buildings on Wellington and all I
00:19:30.260 seen were a bunch of jokers dancing around acting like fools in front of the trucks and the media
00:19:38.520 was eating it up and uh i thought to myself i'm standing in the wrong spot
00:19:46.840 so i went up and i i climbed up to this white truck that was that was sitting there
00:19:56.680 and uh i said do you mind if i stand in front of your truck and i don't think he realized what i
00:20:03.320 had meant but he said sure go ahead so after seven days of 10 hours a day standing in front
00:20:13.660 of this truck without movement and just hugging people and standing there uh that trucker wrote
00:20:22.720 this beautiful it was the nicest thing anybody had ever said about me and uh he said you know
00:20:29.780 i wish i could bring it up i think i read that you know as we talk about it i think i can bring
00:20:37.180 it up real quick too it's tell me where to find it i'll put it on the screen yeah it's on my
00:20:42.720 facebook and uh if you go to the folder called freedom under the in the albums uh this might be
00:20:54.680 a little bit too involved but let's just say that that like and you know what i'll bring it up later
00:20:58.460 on uh maybe yeah yeah anyways it was the nicest thing and basically he said i want this man
00:21:04.840 standing and guarding the front of my truck
00:21:07.420 and it was it was touching it really uh so i had just spent six days i i had made arrangements to
00:21:20.760 stay at somebody's house when i went to ottawa but that person works for the government and
00:21:28.040 got a letter saying um if you aid and abed anybody that's going to take part in this upcoming
00:21:37.320 protest it could be dangerous uh to your career and and whatever so uh they told me about this
00:21:48.100 and said i can't have you stay here so i mean i gotta respect my friend
00:21:54.660 and sleep in the street yeah yeah so that's what happened i got frostbite uh i have no feeling in
00:22:04.880 this film now uh and uh so by the sixth day i was getting really cold and there was somebody
00:22:13.100 that really saved me one morning called uh brooke fleming
00:22:19.180 and uh she was running those little black tents that had heat inside them in a kitchen
00:22:28.060 that was right directly across and uh she seen me at 7 30 in the morning walking around with
00:22:36.400 my blanket on and i was freezing to death it was minus 35 and uh she brought me into this tent
00:22:45.440 and warmed me up and fed me and it was amazing and that was the day that uh
00:22:53.660 uh this other man had had already written this beautiful thing about me
00:22:59.300 but he did more than that he contacted the uh road captors and they had all taken notice of
00:23:10.120 me of course because every day right from the beginning i hugged this man i didn't know called
00:23:16.580 boom truck ben and uh every morning i hugged that big lug every night before we left and uh
00:23:27.300 same with some of the the security and and and they would all come up and give me their
00:23:34.420 approval i guess of what i was doing because i'll tell you when i left the hill and those jokers
00:23:43.220 were literally dancing in front of the truck i stood right in the middle of them and i said this
00:23:49.500 isn't what we need and i just stood there and i started standing in peace and they went away
00:23:56.000 and they never ever came back in 25 days so as far as i'm concerned i did my job who were those
00:24:05.040 guys dana who were those guys like part of the convoy or were they just there for a party i guess
00:24:10.440 one day you'll see my uh remember i wore two funny looking cameras on my head yeah nobody has ever
00:24:18.080 seen that footage you just seen a little snippet but i have 45 hours wow so yeah so so many colorful
00:24:28.060 characters came out of this convoy there was pat king there was freedom george tomorrow leach
00:24:34.120 uh we're gonna have tom barrazzo on the show tomorrow night um he's with v4f now and he's
00:24:41.680 been uh watching the goings on at the inquiry and he's going to be testifying himself so was
00:24:46.840 tamara so was pat chris barber all those folks next week uh how did you get hooked up with them
00:24:52.160 did they find you uh and just say hey you're a pretty interesting character where we're at in
00:24:58.660 this story actually is uh so this driver tells the road captain that i have no place to sleep
00:25:05.560 and uh that road captain was jay from the shed truck and jay is such a fantastic human being
00:25:16.540 that uh we start to talk inside the shed we're we're hanging out and we're just talking remember
00:25:23.240 i don't know anybody just because you meet somebody doesn't mean you're an affiliate to them
00:25:28.420 right you're just you're in a protest man you're going to meet people yep so um i ended up in a
00:25:36.340 couple driver meetings and things like this that went on and uh they loved the message so you know
00:25:44.120 in war uh that's the way the police like to see it obviously from their testimonies in war if you
00:25:53.160 find a tool and uh and it's going to help you then you use that tool so on the eighth day the
00:26:04.080 um new york times took my picture this guy followed me around for a week
00:26:12.840 tough to see but we can pull we can pull that up too
00:26:17.940 well it's in that same slideshow that you already have up there it's that right that picture is in
00:26:24.400 there so not only the new york times but i did interviews with the new york times national post
00:26:32.600 epoch times um uh japan times wow uh and one from like uh the bbc i think um anyways so
00:26:51.660 but they were all coming up and taking my picture they all have their own pictures so
00:26:57.920 uh but i also had i i like to call him my personal photography my personal photographer
00:27:05.520 because he took so many pictures of me and has has given me those pictures graciously
00:27:09.920 and he's a fantastic photographer um uh oh geez name's gonna come to me in a second here
00:27:19.140 that's all right keep going but uh so these pictures were getting out there all over the
00:27:26.600 world and even cbc every every morning at 6 a.m uses my picture in their advertisement of their
00:27:36.320 of their show you know i've warned them about that because you know you could use my picture
00:27:42.420 in a thing but in an advertisement you need to have permission for that that's true yeah
00:27:48.300 And now I see that CTV is also using my footage and pictures in their advertising.
00:27:59.400 So another thing that happened was there was somebody from Bangladesh that was very, very important in the government there visiting Ottawa during this time, during this protest.
00:28:15.700 and he came up and one day just like everybody else took a picture of us and blah blah blah and
00:28:22.140 a couple days later he comes up to me and he takes another picture and he says you're famous
00:28:26.160 in bangladesh and i was like so he says yeah they all love you and i get emails from bangladesh
00:28:33.460 all the time cool so so as as you were gaining this notoriety through absolutely no impetus of
00:28:42.080 your own you were just standing there with a flag and this people were taking notice of you because
00:28:48.540 you just started catching on okay this started catching on at the beginning we didn't see a
00:28:55.100 whole lot of this and i'm not attributing it all to myself but i'm telling you uh you could see the
00:29:01.260 change and now how many people do that a lot more uh i've been doing it for years and years and years
00:29:08.940 on my facebook you can go back 10 years and i'm always standing like that uh so uh it started
00:29:16.320 catching on i started having little meetings and uh stuff like this and then i did a show with
00:29:23.220 at say again three zot he's a youtuber okay and uh i did a show at 3 a.m he caught me walking
00:29:34.860 around outside and uh i said come on into the shed and we did the first interview in the shed
00:29:42.580 with zot and 20 000 people were watching and i uh like i explained to you earlier i wasn't mentally
00:29:52.640 uh together when i was in ottawa either i i have my uh my disabilities and uh if i talk about them
00:30:02.860 i i get to break up and stuff like that so it's uh it's very difficult for me i take medication
00:30:10.020 and all of this stuff but i'm not going to let that define me okay doesn't take away from my
00:30:16.220 knowledge or any or you know i've been hired by billion dollar corporations and they still use
00:30:22.340 my training material our government does so you know let's get to the stuff where you were meeting
00:30:28.100 tamara and the road captains and and uh yeah well i actually uh i i can't say i never met tamara
00:30:35.820 because we were in the same hotel and i think we had met one time i uh i we may have met one time
00:30:42.360 but we didn't really talk or anything like that um but i did with a lot of the truckers every night
00:30:49.140 after standing for 10 hours i walked around for about three hours and i met almost all the truckers
00:30:55.300 and uh i got to talk to them and i got to sit with them and things like this and they loved
00:31:01.520 the the whole working together thing so we we ran with it and i got the backing of the truckers and
00:31:09.220 i got the backing of many people like jason lafache and and stuff like this that just
00:31:16.100 loved the message that it's very simple it's very simple like you know uh and then um
00:31:24.240 um so we just worked together they got me a hotel on the seventh night and uh i stayed in a hotel
00:31:32.300 right up until the very last night other than a couple nights of staying in the shed because of
00:31:37.060 security reasons um so it was nice after the first week i was able to take a bath every night
00:31:46.580 after standing there for 10 hours it was really good and then uh late at night i would walk around
00:31:52.840 And this is when I met Jim Kerr and a few other really key people is when you would meet when you weren't all in the big crowd.
00:32:04.240 It was very personal meetings on the street or at their camp or this camp.
00:32:10.740 And, you know, so it was very personal meetings.
00:32:14.260 And I guess I just put the message that I want to be there for everybody.
00:32:22.120 that that's that's me i i'm not uh i've never asked for money i've never heard that uh or
00:32:30.340 anything because i haven't needed it you know you want to donate donate to the jcc app that's where
00:32:36.900 you can donate you know uh because they are doing amazing things for so many canadians
00:32:43.240 as a matter of fact you were saying on your on your website there's a link that nobody has ever
00:32:49.260 used for donations which i think is is really cool yeah never never once used so whatever
00:32:59.820 so how how is it i also never said anything about it i'm not like that so how is it then
00:33:07.180 with this message you're walking around for weeks with this message
00:33:12.540 you're meeting all of these people and and the message is getting through and
00:33:16.380 they're starting to use the same message peace we are going to do this peacefully we are not going
00:33:21.520 to be violent we are not going to be disruptive well you know i mean except for the horns when we
00:33:27.820 had you know a court injunction to stop that we're working on now counter narrative uh we seen the
00:33:35.500 narrative that was going on as it was going across the country our prime minister spewing hate speech
00:33:43.120 and and a lot of other people and uh i you know uh my parents like i said we didn't see eye to eye
00:33:52.100 but one day on the 26th of january i said to my dad i said please if i showed you three videos
00:34:01.340 would you sit and watch them just three he says okay so i show him the first two that were of
00:34:09.460 the convoy coming across canada and was beautiful you know and he ah like radical you know
00:34:18.020 but the third uh the third one was in french of justin spewing his hate speech and i i never
00:34:30.800 uh like to re-say his words or anything like that i really don't believe in if if he says it and
00:34:40.060 everybody else keeps saying it it just keeps living so i just call it hate speech i'm not
00:34:45.460 going to repeat any of the words um and also his language uh about communities uh this word fringe
00:34:54.040 i i don't like to use it because that's his language i understand the parody and everything
00:35:00.420 else but really it just it gnaws at me i hate it um so i sat my dad down and he watched this third
00:35:09.000 video and i was standing above him and he's watching the pad and after it finishes he looks
00:35:17.100 up at me and says that's not right do you want me to drive you
00:35:22.980 so let me ask you for a guy who is who is walking around with this message and it rubbed off on so
00:35:32.960 many people how is it that you wound up with all of those charges and and believe me i am not
00:35:38.940 inferring in any way that you deserve them but was that at the time when the cops started ramping up
00:35:45.660 the heat on the protesters you know what i was in a personal protest you're allowed to do that in
00:35:51.920 this country doesn't matter if there's other protests going on or groups or whatever but as a
00:35:58.080 singular canadian i was there for my own protest that's what i even say live and everything else
00:36:04.060 and i've stood to that the whole time i have information that i believe is worth protesting
00:36:13.220 against our government on the path that they have taken and uh so i went in a personal protest
00:36:22.400 and in a personal i stood there in personal protest almost saying no words okay the only
00:36:30.260 thing i whispered to everybody that hugged me was through peace and love we will beat them
00:36:35.780 i whispered that to everybody and when a child came up to me i said to them three times
00:36:42.020 we're doing this for you we're doing this for you we're doing this for you
00:36:48.620 that helps imprint that child okay and uh and and that's what we were doing
00:36:56.420 I don't care about me I really don't I live a great life I didn't have to leave this mountain
00:37:03.480 I didn't have to do anything I didn't need to go to Ottawa but I needed to go to Ottawa
00:37:09.520 yeah i hear you so that's how i just i don't know i'm not a i'm not a big public kind of guy
00:37:19.180 but i needed to do it and uh i felt that i had almost no dirt on me there's nothing really bad
00:37:28.160 about me uh so how did you get on the cops radar then data i mean like you got these mischief
00:37:34.500 charges incitement of mischief and you know i mean there's four or five different charges yeah
00:37:38.820 well so i stood in personal protests the entire time uh didn't matter whether i was on the street
00:37:45.780 or whether i was on the truck i was just standing where i was directed and i showed you a video that
00:37:51.560 the police tell me where to stand stand on well okay yeah and uh so i was still standing where
00:38:00.560 they arrested me without hurting anybody without saying anything in silence uh i had people
00:38:07.960 thousands of people over those days uh different times there's lots of different videos where
00:38:16.480 people would turn and just start piecing up to the tower you know and i went on stage one day and uh
00:38:25.320 I asked the whole crowd to lower their flags as we were standing under the one flag on Ben's truck.
00:38:36.540 And if we could stay silent for 10 minutes in peace.
00:38:40.800 And there was at least 1,500 people.
00:38:43.960 And they all stood in silence.
00:38:46.960 And you can't imagine that feeling of standing on that stage.
00:38:53.820 Looking out.
00:38:55.320 it it was amazing it was it was incredible and it was disgusting that our government
00:39:05.020 didn't take part you know uh i agree this it's an absolute um disgusting move mr jt
00:39:18.120 this sickening display but again like so you're standing in peace you did nothing aggressive
00:39:24.080 and the police still and i got charged with a resisting arrest now to me that's an absolutely
00:39:33.700 false charge arbitrarily done without any investigation or anything because i can talk
00:39:42.940 about that because it was it was live on tv yeah and uh you can see as they come near me i didn't
00:39:51.380 even want a weapon any type of anything on me so i dropped my iconic flag which i watched somebody
00:39:59.260 take it and it's gone but uh i literally dropped the flag and as they were coming up the stairs i
00:40:08.720 put my hands behind my back and i said can i go and they said no you're under arrest and i said
00:40:16.780 and i said uh can i go i've done nothing wrong i am standing in peace and i talked to them for a
00:40:25.180 couple minutes and he said uh am i going to have to carry you down or will you go down on your own
00:40:33.100 so there's a picture in that in that lineup that you had shown right where they're grabbing me from
00:40:41.480 both the top and the bottom and they're pulling me down the stairs and I'm still standing in I'm
00:40:47.340 still in peace as I'm going down the stairs I stayed in peace until they put my arms behind
00:40:54.660 my back which I told you I have a medical condition two dislocated shoulders and I
00:41:00.380 tell them about it I tried to tell them that my medication is in my pocket I need it especially
00:41:07.080 right now i was very emotional at the time and when i get over emotional i just can't
00:41:13.480 i can't uh operate i my speech goes and i a whole bunch of things happen so what guys don't forget
00:41:22.200 to like and share this this is dana lee melfi peace man from the uh the freedom convoy back
00:41:28.200 in ottawa january and february so what happened then did they haul you down to the station or did
00:41:32.580 they just drive you out of town and drop you off like so yeah there's a this is the weird thing is
00:41:39.940 there's a video of dave and i both got arrested together because he was inside the shed and i was
00:41:45.260 on top of the shed and uh uh jim kerr was actually on top of the shed with me just seconds early he
00:41:53.700 just narrowly got off and the new york times reporter was up there with me and uh i had
00:42:02.040 asked them I turned to both of them as we seen the police coming up the front of the truck
00:42:07.520 and this is very important and I'm going to say this
00:42:12.540 it's important to remember the lines if you watch the last stand from live from the shed
00:42:21.620 the one called the last stand you will see the lines of police officers there was three lines
00:42:27.640 advancing forward. There was a blue, lighter blue, and a gray. But there was this
00:42:37.080 armored vehicle that was behind them. Now, everybody that got arrested, except for me,
00:42:48.400 got arrested from the Ottawa police and the police that were involved in that.
00:42:52.820 But if you watch that video, you will see that those first three lines break into a little V, and a bunch of guys get out of this armored vehicle, and they come up that V, and they come straight for me and Dave.
00:43:08.340 Okay?
00:43:09.760 These guys were not police, and I'm going to prove something to people later on about this.
00:43:17.040 Okay.
00:43:17.880 Very important part, so remember that.
00:43:20.740 uh so after i got arrested they bring me down they slap cuffs on me and dave they separate us
00:43:29.100 i stand outside for two hours with my hands behind my back in agony in agony i had that
00:43:38.500 big suit on i had actually seven layers on and uh they started emptying my pockets and they filled
00:43:46.100 three evidence bags full of stuff from my pockets and the the cop reaches down into my pocket
00:43:55.540 finally and he pulls out a bunch of cigarette butts and he looks up at me because he was leaning down
00:44:01.940 and uh he looks up at me and gives me a weird face and i said that's how legal i am i wouldn't
00:44:08.940 throw a butt in the bush i won't do it here and he put them in the evidence bag
00:44:14.560 what was the reaction like what what kind of reaction did these cops have to you i mean you're
00:44:21.660 like peace man you know you're not littering you're not doing anything they're lying their
00:44:26.240 face off to me sorry but uh that's all right man when like that first that first cop that took me
00:44:33.740 away from those those uh military style people even though that guy today on the inquiry said
00:44:43.360 oh no they don't look military to me yeah anyways we're going to talk about that a little bit later
00:44:48.120 on but but so what happened that you're outside for two hours these guys take everything out of
00:44:53.100 your pockets where they take you next well i was standing beside a cop car for almost two hours
00:44:59.280 out in the cold and uh i was asking them to take the cuffs off put them in the front and stuff they
00:45:05.560 never did any of that and then they put me in a police car and they pull up my file and they see
00:45:12.400 that there is no file there's no charges there's nothing they see a lot of other things that are
00:45:19.160 only good and i have been a victim a few times on stuff so they seen that and they were like
00:45:25.320 empathetic and whatnot oh i'm sorry that happened to you things like that you know i've been
00:45:31.780 stabbed and a few other things so um i'm still here
00:45:36.880 interesting are you writing a book you should write a book and this would be the last chapter
00:45:46.060 it's still going on obviously but this would be a great last chapter we can do a part two some
00:45:51.860 other time so what do they do where they take so they i in the cop car i said i want to be let go
00:45:59.660 i haven't i haven't broken any laws you have no proof of any of that i want to see your proof
00:46:05.260 right now before you start arresting me and they were like no we're going to uh recommend
00:46:13.660 uh to the next place that you go we're going to recommend that you not get charged
00:46:18.860 and i was like okay can you write that on that paper when she wrote something
00:46:24.400 and then uh they haul me off and they put me into this uh paddy wagon and um
00:46:32.200 oh that was a touching moment because uh just moments before they arrested us
00:46:38.680 um there was the and i would love to meet these people by the way there was these two people that
00:46:45.400 said they had just driven four and a half hours to meet me and bring me a coffee and it was before
00:46:51.840 the police finished was at 8 45 in the morning and uh they brought me that coffee and stuff
00:47:00.000 and then after the arrest not an hour later they're put or two hours later they're putting
00:47:06.720 me in this paddy wagon the first person i see is the man that brought me the coffee sitting on the
00:47:11.760 other side of the paddy wagon and all i could say was i'm sorry and he was like no way man
00:47:19.380 no way it was worth it so anyways was this whole thing was this going on the last couple of days
00:47:25.560 when the police were were you know kettling the crowd or was this somewhere in the middle
00:47:30.640 where he brought me the coffee no no where you were getting hauled away and arrested and put
00:47:37.200 into the paddy wagon yeah and the coffee thing like was this the final day this was right on
00:47:41.140 the 19th of uh february right i woke up at 7 30 in the morning in the shed actually dave took a
00:47:49.740 picture I'd never shared it of me curled up in my sleeping bag inside the shed and uh but that was
00:47:57.800 me on on that morning and then when we woke up and we got on top of the shed I was actually a
00:48:04.040 little disappointed I'm please don't get mad at me anybody out there but when I stood on top of
00:48:09.620 the shed and I looked around and I only see nine trucks I was I was my heart dropped I was a little
00:48:16.640 disappointed because i watched a ton of videos where people said they would not leave and
00:48:24.200 you know we even had chains uh revin kevin and i came up with this little plan is if they were
00:48:32.700 going to move us he was going to chain me to the front of his truck and we got chain locks and
00:48:39.060 everything and we were going to chain myself to the front of the truck so they couldn't tow it
00:48:42.980 that's the old school man that's going back to the 60s style protesting change yourself to a
00:48:51.000 man he got a lot of people uh happy uh just the same as me standing in peace the revving of his
00:49:01.220 truck when they said that we couldn't honk the horn anymore he went on with his jig brakes and
00:49:06.060 things like that that was for a reason okay there's a reason why he did that and i know a lot
00:49:11.220 of people weren't happy with him but i'll tell you it worked i watched the people's faces from
00:49:17.380 inside that truck looking out let's circle back to the guys who were wearing the gray you were
00:49:22.860 talking about you as you were standing on the top of the uh the shed there you saw the three lines
00:49:27.460 of cops coming the blue the light blue and then the gray what was the significance about that
00:49:31.980 well it was the green guys the green green guys are the ones that arrested me because
00:49:39.160 those other cops they moved out of the way and that special unit came in and got us now the
00:49:46.220 funny thing is after all of that is that dave got driven out of town and let go with no charges
00:49:53.880 yeah and he's the one running this live from the shed the live from the shed was born because
00:50:02.120 uh i did such a great interview had lots of views the shed was there they had somebody that agreed
00:50:08.860 to build a platform and then it was it was made from that and we all helped each other get the
00:50:16.400 viewers and stuff it was all a collaborative thing between like eight or nine people that
00:50:22.060 did not know each other and by the way tell dave that his break is over he needs to come back and
00:50:27.780 get the show i love you know i i spent a week in a hotel with dave and we talked a lot and uh
00:50:35.000 we both have our our abilities let's say and we're both uh intelligent men uh and uh you know
00:50:45.360 this is a fluid situation as we like to hear from the cop so as you go not everything is going to
00:50:53.440 go according to plan look at the last eight months since then all the stuff that we have done like i
00:51:01.140 i went on tour all around ontario with many groups and it was it was great i got to meet
00:51:08.980 so many people uh tens of thousands of hugs you know so so who were the green guys were they
00:51:18.560 they weren't cops were they what were they they were hired guns i can't i can't elaborate on that
00:51:24.880 anymore okay uh but they were definitely to me they were not within that unit of arresting
00:51:32.700 the regular arresting police okay those those were ottawa police and opp and stuff
00:51:39.640 these were not that these were not that well there has been a lot of speculation that there
00:51:46.340 were some out of country police officers brought in or maybe private firms were hired uh to do
00:51:53.100 to supplement the forces and that hasn't yet come out in the emergencies act inquiry which we've
00:51:59.320 been watching by the way you and me and and several million other people across the country
00:52:04.440 i'm sure so far it's been bureaucrats local politicians and police officers of different
00:52:10.940 ranks in different agencies what's your take been on the inquiry so far
00:52:16.020 well i had communications with the inquiry uh before it started um and uh at first they
00:52:29.100 greeted me nicely and said yes we want to hear from you and stuff like this and then uh
00:52:35.680 when i told them i have 45 hours of footage and documents and a whole bunch of other things
00:52:41.660 the conversation changed to we would like you to submit this voluntarily online and uh because of
00:52:50.400 time constraints of this inquiry we're not going to have time to fit you in and uh so i didn't
00:52:59.020 press the issue because you know what now i can still speak uh same thing i didn't get arrested
00:53:05.260 uh you know i would have still been in jail with uh pat and and tamara and stuff if i didn't sign
00:53:15.100 those conditions not to enter uh ottawa so but i felt that it was more useful for me to be out
00:53:24.440 uh fighting the other fight and uh gaining support for everybody that was jailed you know
00:53:32.640 And that's what I did was I mustered support.
00:53:36.120 And, you know, that's all I wanted to do was to keep it going, to show that there's a lot of people that are real rights and freedom advocates, not partiers, not, you know, it's no secret.
00:53:56.920 I've called out a few people in the freedom movement as well.
00:54:01.000 but if you're doing bad behavior i don't this is why our government got got to where it is right
00:54:06.960 now nobody calling out the bad behavior when it is happening right so so that's what i did a couple
00:54:13.180 times and uh you know what never didn't hurt me can you talk about the inquiry so far is it
00:54:21.480 something that you can talk about legally or is it something that you'd rather not uh well they
00:54:26.320 they emailed me the other day with a a new email that says uh the list is not complete yet
00:54:33.680 we will contact you the witness list right okay so uh just uh
00:54:44.780 that's it says it's not complete let's put it that way so you may be appearing as a witness
00:54:51.300 at some point in the next couple of weeks i know that tamara is going to be appearing i know that
00:54:55.520 Chris Barber and Pat King will be taking the stand next week.
00:54:58.340 I'm not sure who else yet.
00:55:00.120 Tom Baratso, he's going to be taking the stand as well.
00:55:02.780 He's going to be on the show tomorrow night.
00:55:04.980 All fantastic people.
00:55:07.140 Yeah, exactly.
00:55:07.860 So, so far, what has your impression been of this inquiry?
00:55:12.940 Do you think it's been fair?
00:55:16.620 Well, I've tweeted and wrote about this,
00:55:22.340 and I keep saying the same thing for the last 10 days.
00:55:25.520 there's still no demonstrable evidence at all uh other than incompetence uh mismanagement
00:55:35.600 hurt feelings yeah uh you know the list of like that goes on and on but there's no reason for
00:55:44.520 uh calling on the brutalizing of your citizen for no reason uh there are ways to communicate
00:55:53.000 i was down there i literally stayed in that core other than my walks at night i stayed in that
00:56:01.000 front core that was our block let's say was right in front of wellington heck we even had a mailbox
00:56:07.980 which i received gifts in i i received gifts while we were there in the mailbox address to peace man
00:56:16.160 you know it was great uh i've received some gifts since from many beautiful artists too
00:56:24.560 then let me ask you this is x sexy lee that's your name right the aggrieved citizen the one
00:56:32.080 that's gotten an award from the city of ottawa like did you ever meet her did you ever see her
00:56:37.040 in the streets yeah what was your what was your impression i uh i sat back and watched first
00:56:45.900 because that's what i do uh i want i want to see you know are you being true to yourself are you
00:56:53.200 are you really fighting for a reason uh and i do this with a lot of people i watch you first
00:57:00.240 and uh so i stood back and she was standing uh over by the supreme courthouse and i was walking
00:57:12.080 and uh i observed for a while that her behavior and her language and things like that it was
00:57:22.140 nothing like the people that i had met in the protest which were amazingly kind and generous
00:57:30.680 and and and willing to speak to a total stranger uh i had so many great conversations with absolute
00:57:39.140 strangers it's unbelievable but for her to do what she was doing was actually what she was
00:57:47.240 complaining about and and it really was so absolutely ridiculous now i do remember going
00:57:55.600 up to her face to face and i said something to her and i i you know i've been trying to remember
00:58:04.000 what i said and i cannot remember but i i remember doing it and i remember saying
00:58:11.400 uh oh geez peace well i i it it did end in the peace sign in her face okay that's far away from
00:58:25.640 her face i wasn't going near her pretty far right i'm sure it wasn't anything horrible that you said
00:58:31.820 to her obviously if it ends in peace no no no although i'm sure she could have construed it
00:58:36.960 some sort of microaggression the way she was talking up on the stand there i think it was
00:58:41.220 about communications i i think i i said to her you know you you should really learn how to
00:58:47.100 communicate uh something like that and i walked away i didn't make an issue and i didn't just like
00:58:54.080 the the one day there was a guy with a big flag there's like several videos and he said get out
00:58:59.600 of our city and he was walking around me uh but a bunch of beautiful quebec people uh came over
00:59:08.160 with their big quebec flag and they kind of pushed him away from me quite a lot and uh it was
00:59:16.420 beautiful it was really beautiful but one time the guys walking by me we're about an hour in and
00:59:21.920 it's minus 35 and uh i only said one thing to him i leaned in as he was walking right past my nose
00:59:29.780 and i said you don't have the stamina and then that was it and he was gone within two hours he
00:59:37.080 was gone we never seen him again you told me a story about not having the stamina as as i was
00:59:43.080 before the show we talked about standing nose to nose with police officers and this is the way i
00:59:49.240 would like to wrap up this conversation dana tell please tell the story about those two police
00:59:55.380 officers that you were talking to the looks in their eyes and the feelings that you you got off
01:00:00.480 of them as you were chatting with them on the line there that day yeah so on the 18th of february
01:00:09.080 um we had decided that uh i was gonna go and sleep in the shed that night instead of hotel
01:00:18.200 for security reasons because things were weird things were happening all over the place and
01:00:24.100 police were moving and trampling people and stuff like this so uh at 8 30 in the evening i went to
01:00:32.400 walk back up from the hotel to the to the shed and about two blocks away these officers they
01:00:40.300 they had lined the whole street and they weren't letting anybody go up to the hill uh they were
01:00:47.840 letting people come out but once you came out you weren't allowed back in and this is why there
01:00:53.240 wasn't a lot of people there the next morning right because they blocked our legal protests
01:00:58.640 so uh i was walking towards the shed and uh these two police officers stopped me and they say you
01:01:08.720 can't go there and i said wait a second i i have to go there i'm protecting property over there and
01:01:15.660 stuff like this and no no no i'm sorry do you have an address and all this you know what they
01:01:21.840 were doing and the lady cop uh so i asked him where's the line where's the line where i can
01:01:29.040 stand because i'm gonna stand here face to face with you and uh so the lady cop stands face to
01:01:36.720 face with me for a while for 20 minutes and i'm talking i'm really pulling at her heartstrings
01:01:43.060 you know about her oath and about our our rights and freedoms and and what she has seen
01:01:50.480 not what she's been told but what she is seeing and in 20 minutes she started crying
01:01:57.920 and she walked away and the mail officer stood took it or took her place and i said okay
01:02:06.520 it's your turn
01:02:07.980 I said you don't have the stamina
01:02:11.140 sir
01:02:11.560 and
01:02:13.100 it took
01:02:17.040 about 20 minutes and then
01:02:18.920 he was watching
01:02:21.220 the other police that were
01:02:23.220 stopping people
01:02:25.160 and when he seen that none of them
01:02:27.280 were looking at him
01:02:28.240 he moved to the side and he said go
01:02:30.960 so
01:02:33.540 uh from a lot of the other officers i seen and from these green guys and stuff i seen nothing
01:02:41.940 there was like almost no feeling i i stood face to face with with many of them and there was
01:02:48.800 there was nothing there but the the cop on the beat let's say uh they had feelings and they
01:03:00.520 were going against their own morals their own judgment everything but this is what this
01:03:07.400 government has done is made people go against their own morals and judgment and and stuff
01:03:14.380 because of egos and social status and all of this others your job you know and this is not this is
01:03:22.360 why we were there this inquiry and stuff like this this is all overshadowing the main purpose
01:03:31.220 on why we were there and this is what justin is using it for dana lee melfi thank you for coming
01:03:38.600 on the show tonight peace man peace dash man.ca is the website go check it out uh it's filled with
01:03:44.780 all kinds of wonderful information some great pictures of dana and some of the crew uh down
01:03:50.740 there at the convoy in ottawa back in january and february man thanks for coming on tonight
01:03:55.640 really appreciate it we're not going to stop we're going to keep going
01:03:58.180 peace talk to you again soon
01:04:02.880 okay guys uh speaking of i do have some more things so i'm going to be going a little bit
01:04:15.100 long tonight if you want to hang around that would be cool i want to bring this to your
01:04:19.460 attention because speaking of the inquiry this is what happened at the inquiry today just a couple
01:04:24.200 of things and then i do have a couple of other things that i want to bring to your attention
01:04:28.360 as well so from true north on twitter today ottawa police superintendent robert bernier
01:04:37.060 is asked to watch a video where a police officer appears to use a rifle to beat a fallen protester
01:04:45.160 during the crackdown of the freedom convoy so watch what he says this is this text here
01:04:51.720 is absolutely real watch what he says after watching this video i like to call up video hrf
01:05:01.240 four zeros one five six zero
01:05:08.280 and i'm going to just warn that there's just stressing images
01:05:11.320 and I'd like to pause at 0.29.
01:05:33.760 Keep watching, keep watching.
01:05:41.320 All right, so do you agree that the OPS officer in this video in the back behind the ranks,
01:05:59.220 the line is using what is actually the muzzle and not the butt of what looks like a 40-millimeter
01:06:04.260 chemical munition launched to beat a protester with?
01:06:07.180 not enough for me to see what exactly is going on but you can now let me ask you a question here
01:06:16.540 i'm not a professional at this but i'm pretty good at telling when somebody's
01:06:23.420 bsing does he look like he's lying and almost slightly amused after watching that footage to
01:06:30.120 you look at his face he's saying there's not enough there for him to see a guy getting butt
01:06:42.060 stocked in the head or a woman sorry getting bucks butt stocked in the head in this incident
01:06:47.080 see that there is a police officer in the back beating a protester with a rifle there is not
01:06:53.600 enough for me to see what is actually
01:06:55.660 happening
01:06:56.200 behind the bodies.
01:07:14.980 Okay, so
01:07:16.400 interestingly
01:07:17.780 aside from the
01:07:21.740 buttstock in the head
01:07:22.740 which i saw the first time i watched that video and i'm about to show you a different angle of it
01:07:28.960 courtesy of andy lee the real andy lee on twitter aside from that it's already been established
01:07:36.520 through this inquiry that these people the people who went to ottawa to protest and do so
01:07:44.840 to gain our freedoms back ones that had been taken away not just by the federal government yes we
01:07:50.340 understand that by all of the provincial and territorial governments as well they're the ones
01:07:54.720 who impose the restrictions on us the six-foot distancing the masks the mandates for the jabs
01:08:00.240 and all of those things but the federal government was the one that set the tone as peace man said
01:08:05.080 earlier in the show tonight these were people who came from all parts of the country mostly
01:08:16.020 middle class people, high middle class, lower middle class, the heart and soul of this country.
01:08:25.180 These weren't professional protesters like the Antifa people, like the ones who were
01:08:32.580 causing havoc at the pipeline in British Columbia today.
01:08:35.520 You can go to the Western Standard for more on that.
01:08:39.300 These people were regular Canadians.
01:08:43.560 People who work or tried to work throughout the lockdowns.
01:08:48.640 People who provide for their families.
01:08:51.100 People who pay mortgages.
01:08:53.740 They're the ones.
01:08:56.820 Not professional protesters with frozen water bottles and bricks to be thrown.
01:09:01.800 these people had no idea how to go up before against a force like the police like you saw
01:09:10.640 in those antifa riots in the united states and the blm riots the george floyd riots you saw that
01:09:15.520 these people just wanted what's right all they wanted was an audience with the federal government
01:09:22.960 that's it trudeau decided to run and hide instead of coming out and addressing them
01:09:28.960 he labeled them a fringe minority with unacceptable views
01:09:32.700 but they weren't
01:09:34.400 the police on the ground according to Dana Lee Melfi
01:09:37.600 and every other person that I've spoken to
01:09:39.840 who was at the convoy
01:09:41.880 said the police
01:09:45.420 most of the local police
01:09:47.640 understood that
01:09:49.400 they saw that
01:09:50.340 it's been documented and it's been presented as evidence
01:09:53.280 in the emergency act inquiry
01:09:55.960 that we've been watching for the past
01:09:57.600 two and a half weeks.
01:10:01.040 So let's move on to a different angle
01:10:03.160 of that particular video that we just saw.
01:10:06.080 Again, thank you to Andy Lee,
01:10:07.840 the real Andy Lee on Twitter for putting this up.
01:10:10.820 Here it is. Watch.
01:10:15.900 Look at these people here.
01:10:17.100 They're standing shoulder to shoulder.
01:10:21.000 They're hugging each other
01:10:21.960 as the police just plow through them.
01:10:27.600 Look at this.
01:10:37.320 Right there.
01:10:38.720 Right there.
01:10:47.480 And then they form that wall, that barrier, right?
01:10:51.780 Typical police tactics.
01:10:53.140 that's deplorable conduct and they're all wearing goggles and masks so nobody can see them and
01:11:03.320 that's they say they don't want to be you know bothered at home what's the expression i forget
01:11:10.200 what the expression is when you when you put a cop's address or a politician's address out there
01:11:16.760 for people to see i forget what that's called it's just slipped my mind and that's the reason
01:11:22.440 they said they were doing that
01:11:23.760 and not giving out their badge numbers
01:11:25.420 they didn't want to be
01:11:26.280 oh it's almost on the tip of my tongue
01:11:28.980 I'm looking in the comments
01:11:32.580 usually doxed
01:11:33.820 yes doxed
01:11:34.480 thank you Robin doxed
01:11:35.720 they didn't want to be doxed
01:11:38.160 so they could go ahead
01:11:40.660 and pound on regular Canadians
01:11:43.640 standing in the streets
01:11:45.180 trying to protect their civil rights
01:11:47.780 and liberties
01:11:48.280 without any consequence whatsoever
01:11:51.220 that's a sad commentary isn't it
01:11:56.740 all right i'm of the mind guys that this inquiry is already over and it only continues for
01:12:07.740 entertainment purposes i can't wait to see trudeau up there on the on the stand i can't wait to see
01:12:13.280 freeland and mendicino up on the stand i'm looking forward to uh tamara leach and chris barber and
01:12:19.720 Pat King and all those folks testifying next week.
01:12:23.200 This week, it's nothing but a bunch of cops and bureaucrats up there
01:12:26.400 talking about the methods they used and whatnot.
01:12:28.580 But really, the testimony doesn't have much to do,
01:12:31.640 if anything to do with whether the Emergency Act should have been called or not.
01:12:36.180 It's just a bunch of finger-pointing and blaming.
01:12:38.260 This is a three-minute piece from Brian Lilly of Post Media.
01:12:42.160 Police were clear that they needed tools not held by any federal,
01:12:47.200 provincial, or territorial law.
01:12:49.200 It was only after we got advice from law enforcement
01:12:52.360 that we invoked the Emergencies Act.
01:12:56.260 Lies!
01:12:57.320 Does anyone actually think the Emergencies Act was needed at this point?
01:13:01.620 Hi, I'm Brian Lilly, political columnist for the Toronto Sun.
01:13:05.180 Whether you're a staunch supporter of the Freedom Convoy
01:13:07.780 or one of them cleared off the streets on the first weekend,
01:13:11.040 one thing's becoming clear at the Public Order Emergency Commission.
01:13:14.920 That's the official name of the Emergencies Act inquiry.
01:13:17.620 and that thing that's becoming clear is they didn't need to invoke it.
01:13:22.580 Sure, we've seen a lot of finger-pointing.
01:13:24.600 We've seen a lot of blame being thrown around.
01:13:27.060 Politicians trying to blame police.
01:13:28.960 Police trying to blame politicians.
01:13:30.520 Politicians trying to blame each other.
01:13:32.680 Even an attempt to drag Ontario Premier Doug Ford into the mess.
01:13:37.060 But the central question of this inquiry isn't who's to blame.
01:13:41.000 It's did the Emergencies Act need to be invoked?
01:13:44.920 Was there a threat to national security?
01:13:46.560 Was that threat sufficient to invoke the Emergencies Act?
01:13:50.240 Had other laws been used or applied?
01:13:53.640 We've heard testimony from top police officers, including an intelligence officer at the OPP,
01:13:59.200 saying there was no threat to national security.
01:14:01.960 But perhaps the most damning statement comes from RCMP Commissioner Brenda Luckey.
01:14:07.380 In an email sent just after midnight in the early morning hours of February 14th,
01:14:12.780 Lucky said this to the Chief of Staff, to Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino.
01:14:18.680 I am of the view that we have not exhausted all available tools that are already available through existing legislation.
01:14:25.840 There are instances where charges could be laid under existing authority for various criminal code offences occurring right now in the context of the protest.
01:14:36.360 She goes on to say the Ontario Provincial Emergencies Act, just enacted, will also help in providing additional deterrent tools to our existing toolbox.
01:14:47.200 That's Commissioner Luckey. That's the top police officer in the country saying, we don't need the Emergencies Act.
01:14:53.360 We have tools at our disposal that we have not used. That should tell you everything you need to know.
01:14:59.080 In fact, whether it's been RCMP officers, OPP officers or Ottawa police officers, what we've heard is that the Emergencies Act wasn't needed.
01:15:09.040 Some have said, yes, we use the tools or it gave us a nice stable environment.
01:15:12.920 That was acting chief Steve Bell.
01:15:15.920 But they all said the same thing.
01:15:17.640 By the time the Emergencies Act was invoked, there was already a plan in place and it was moving ahead with or without the act.
01:15:26.020 They even had tow trucks ready to go.
01:15:27.920 So, all of these claims used to say that the Emergencies Act needed to be called in, well, they're going up in smoke.
01:15:37.260 Let's face it, the only thing that was exhausted was Justin Trudeau's patience, and that is not enough of a reason to bring in the Emergencies Act, suspend civil liberties, freeze bank accounts, and more.
01:15:49.600 Let me know what you think. Drop a comment down below, share this on social media, and don't forget to subscribe to our channel.
01:15:55.820 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We already know. Oh, oh, this is election night in Manitoba. So all of the towns and cities across this province are going to be electing a mayor and city or town counselors or a reeve and school trustees. And I went to vote earlier today. Of course, I'm shy about it. I voted for Jenny Makaluk for mayor.
01:16:18.060 wouldn't it be cool if she wins i don't know but wouldn't it be cool if she wins she
01:16:26.460 would be a fantastic mayor for this city but it seemed different today why why does this seem
01:16:33.840 different like instead of making an x for the very first time in my voting career that goes back to
01:16:41.440 I had to color in a dot like the old the old tests back in school when you you know you had a had to have a pencil and you colored in the dot and that's because they're using voting machines.
01:16:57.580 Oh no, they finally brought voting machines to Canada.
01:17:03.280 But don't worry, the voting machines have been tested, my friends.
01:17:06.900 According to the CBC, prior to polls opening today,
01:17:11.660 election officials tested all of the city's voting machines with 50,000 pre-marked ballots,
01:17:16.520 and guess what? The results were perfect!
01:17:19.320 Ho ho! No, absolutely zero chance that we're going to have problems.
01:17:27.580 so if glenn murray is elected as mayor even with all of the sordid things that were reported on
01:17:35.420 him all true by the way in the last couple of months we don't have to worry because we know
01:17:41.320 he actually got elected because these voting machines oh no problems whatsoever
01:17:45.740 from the counter signal this is disturbing if you have children or grandchildren in school
01:17:54.040 in manitoba and by the way this is most likely going on in every province across the country
01:18:00.380 manitoba indoctrinating kids with un great reset goals from the countersignal.com the manitoba

01:18:27.580 Cooperation. The materials frequently being pushed to Manitoba students also reference
01:18:32.700 great reset-style initiatives like Agenda 2030. Sustainable Development Goals. Go read
01:18:41.040 about it on the UN website, or better yet, you can find that on the website of the World
01:18:46.040 Economic Forum, explained to students that these goals were created at the 2015 United Nations
01:18:53.460 Summit. 100, they make it sound so lofty, 193 United Nations came together to create these
01:19:01.880 goals for the transforming of our world, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We only have
01:19:08.040 a few years left and a lot of work to do, the lesson plan tells educators. We're determined
01:19:13.980 to implement this agenda through a global partnership
01:19:16.920 based on a spirit of global solidarity
01:19:19.060 focused in particular on the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable
01:19:22.980 and with the participation of all countries, all stakeholders, and all people.
01:19:28.120 The Sustainable Development Goals are 17 goals
01:19:31.180 invented by the United Nations General Assembly
01:19:33.340 and form a crucial part of the international organization's agenda,
01:19:36.780 2030 plan to reshape the world
01:19:39.160 according to the precepts of climate and sustainability ideology.
01:19:43.980 Some resources provided to students portray conservative positions and politicians negatively.
01:19:51.440 What a shock.
01:19:52.940 The Paris Agreement made in 2016 brings all nations into a common cause
01:19:56.600 to undertake ambitious efforts to combat climate change
01:20:00.440 and adapt to its effects with enhanced support to assist developing countries to do so.
01:20:06.380 As such, it charts a new course in the global climate effort,
01:20:10.000 a lesson plan on climate justice reads.
01:20:12.240 Yet President Donald Trump is backed out of the Paris Agreement.
01:20:17.420 What does this mean as a large producer of emissions contributing to climate change?

01:20:35.620 Michael likes to hang out with his friends and play games online.
01:20:38.820 His parents drag him to rallies protesting against the refugees flooding the country.
01:20:43.540 And it all makes sense to Michael until Mina, a refugee from Afghanistan,
01:20:48.340 shows up at his school and turns out to be funny and smart.
01:20:51.580 Suddenly, things seem more complicated, the summary states.
01:20:57.120 This is not about facts.
01:21:01.880 This is about feelings.
01:21:03.140 And that's the kind of stuff that is being pushed on our kids in school by the government of this province with the Association of the United Nations and, yes, the World Economic Forum.
01:21:23.500 Do I have time to play this?
01:21:25.240 Are you guys willing to stick with me for the next 10 to 15 minutes because I still have stuff I want to get out or should I wait until tomorrow?
01:21:32.980 Actually, no, I'm not going to have time tomorrow.
01:21:41.640 This is Dr. Paul Merrick
01:21:43.580 explaining the dangers of a buildup
01:21:46.100 of the spike protein in the body
01:21:47.620 from inflammation to autoimmune disease.
01:21:50.800 I am going to play this for you guys.
01:21:53.520 Hopefully you'll stick around and watch it
01:21:55.220 because it is quite interesting.
01:22:02.660 The spike protein is probably one of the most toxic proteins the human body has
01:22:08.240 ever seen. It seems though and we have really good data from a number of groups
01:22:14.260 so firstly from Pfizer's own data and then there have been two independent
01:22:18.580 surveys looking at vaccine injured both in the US and in Germany and over 80% of
01:22:25.700 the adverse events are neurological so which is what makes it such a
01:22:30.060 devastating disease so these people are neurologically impaired the commonest is
01:22:37.980 overwhelming severe fatigue and tiredness then brain fog so it if it appears with the ability
01:22:45.580 to think clearly to do cognitive tasks to function normally as a human being so it's these overwhelming
01:22:54.460 fatigue, overwhelming tiredness, brain fog, and then they get what's called a peripheral neuropathy
01:23:01.580 in which they develop antibodies against the nerve fibers so they get terrible shooting pains,
01:23:09.100 paresthesias, numbness in their legs, terrible pain, burning pains, which can be
01:23:17.340 enormously disabling and that seems to be pretty common and then obviously we have the myocarditis
01:23:25.240 they can't hide that so you know we know this particularly affects young men who seem for
01:23:32.560 whatever reason to be particularly vulnerable to developing myocarditis and then there are a whole
01:23:38.900 host of other diseases patients get severe ringing in the ears called tinnitus they get visual
01:23:45.880 problems. They get problems with walking and ambulation. So it's a spectrum. In fact,
01:23:56.180 there are over 2,000 published peer-reviewed papers describing different medical conditions
01:24:03.240 associated with the vaccine. Okay, I'm going to stop it for just one second here. We'll get to
01:24:07.920 the rest of it in just a couple of seconds, guys. Let me ask you this. Aside from the really
01:24:15.600 intense side effects that we have talked about ad nauseum on this show the the myocarditis the
01:24:20.760 pericarditis blood clotting all of that the bell's palsy all of that stuff dr merrick here is talking
01:24:30.140 about other side effects that are not necessarily all that noticeable right like brain fogs and just
01:24:38.160 behavioral changes tinnitus and that kind of stuff have you noticed that in your vaccinated family
01:24:44.440 your friends have they just kind of been forgetful did they seem to be in a zone someplace when you're
01:24:52.420 trying to talk to them when they weren't like that before i have noticed that amongst some people that
01:24:58.180 i'm friends with and they were sharp as tax before and their behavior has also changed but not in a
01:25:06.840 positive way. They've become much
01:25:08.940 short, much more short-tempered.
01:25:12.300 Much more
01:25:13.060 intolerant.
01:25:15.400 Anyway, let's
01:25:16.980 continue on here with this piece.
01:25:18.600 It's from the Epoch Times. I should give them credit for that.
01:25:21.000 And where's my little pointer? There we go.
01:25:23.340 The most serious
01:25:24.800 of the neurological, which
01:25:26.660 interfere with people's ability
01:25:28.720 to work, to function
01:25:30.580 normally,
01:25:31.740 to ambulate.
01:25:35.420 So these are really serious complications.
01:25:38.460 So from what I've heard, some of these symptoms of long COVID, as it's called,
01:25:43.360 are also brain fog and fatigue and so forth.
01:25:46.280 So there's an overlap.
01:25:47.600 And then, of course, there's this potential interactive effect
01:25:50.680 where people that are vaccinated are now more likely to become, you know, to get COVID.
01:25:56.920 So it could be a double whammy.
01:25:58.500 I don't know if this is something you've observed or is there a way to measure it?
01:26:03.360 Absolutely.
01:26:03.840 you're absolutely correct so it's basically related to the load of spike protein you have
01:26:09.360 the more spike protein you have you're greater your risk of complications organ failure and death
01:26:15.900 so how do you get more more spike the more you're vaccinated the more spike but obviously if you get
01:26:23.820 COVID and you're already vaccinated you get spike some more so basically the bottom line is don't
01:26:31.600 get vaccinated and avoid getting COVID if you're vaccinated and if you are vaccinated to be I mean
01:26:40.400 sorry if you do get COVID to be treated early because one of the again the reasons for early
01:26:45.320 treatment is that if you treat early you limit the load of spike protein so it's the spike protein
01:26:52.100 the load of spike protein that determines the complications so you're right you know there was
01:26:58.960 this misinformation that if you had long COVID, you should be vaccinated. But that's the worst
01:27:04.400 thing to do because it further increases your load of spike protein. So if you have long COVID,
01:27:10.880 you absolutely want to avoid being vaccinated. Okay, this is fascinating. Explain to me the
01:27:17.160 body of evidence that exists that shows it's the load of spike protein that's responsible
01:27:22.460 for all of this disease?
01:27:25.600 Okay, so what does spike protein do to the body?
01:27:30.040 So it does a number of horrendous things.
01:27:32.820 The one thing is it's profoundly pro-inflammatory.
01:27:36.800 So it's taken up by what's called phagocytic cells,
01:27:40.580 and these are cells in the brain,
01:27:43.280 cells in the heart, cells throughout the body,
01:27:46.760 and it causes profound inflammation.
01:27:49.500 It's taken up by the cells lining the blood vessels.
01:27:54.140 So, you know, Dr. Cole, who's a really outstanding pathologist
01:27:58.640 who's going to be at our conference, has obviously done pathology specimens.
01:28:02.600 And what he finds is if you look at the endothelial cells,
01:28:06.000 and these are the cells lining the blood vessel,
01:28:09.320 they're absolutely packed with spike protein.
01:28:12.400 Packed.
01:28:13.380 The cells are packed with spike protein.
01:28:16.320 so this idea that the spike stays in the arm is false the spike circulates and it goes to the
01:28:23.400 professional what they call professional phagocytic cells so you know the microglia
01:28:28.600 cells in the brain and it causes inflammation it goes to the endothelial cells and it does
01:28:34.660 some really bad things to the endothelium so the endothelium lines blood vessels so what does it
01:28:40.260 do it causes the blood vessels to constrict and it causes clotting so it interferes with blood flow
01:28:47.120 and when interfere with blood flow you have what's called infarction it kills the the tissue which
01:28:53.700 the blood vessels supply so we know that people who have been exposed to spike have micro infarcts
01:29:01.880 in their brain if we do high sensitive MRI so you know that's one of the mechanisms the other
01:29:09.320 is that, believe it or not, they manufactured spike to have both two foreign proteins. One
01:29:18.100 is an amyloid protein, and the other is a prion protein. So prions are mad cow disease.
01:29:27.060 They added, when they designed this vaccine, they added a prion to the receptor binding domain
01:29:32.980 of the spike protein, and they did that because it then binds more avidly to the ACE2 receptor.
01:29:39.920 So people who get the vaccine are at much higher risk of getting prion disease, which is mad cow
01:29:46.140 disease, and indeed there have been many cases of mad cow disease being described. As I said,
01:29:52.840 it has amyloid protein, so what we know about these clots that form is that these are very
01:29:58.820 mysterious clots because they're very fibrinous they're very resistant to breakdown and they have
01:30:04.680 amyloid and this is likely from the amyloid within the spike protein so so that's one of the
01:30:12.220 one mechanisms the other which is very common in the vaccine injured is is what's called autoimmunity
01:30:20.220 So some of the domains in the spike protein look very much like the host's antigens.
01:30:28.580 So it's called molecular mimicry.
01:30:31.320 So what happens is when the host mounts an immune response against the spike,
01:30:36.480 at the same time it causes antibodies directed against the host's own tissues.
01:30:42.080 So the host is attacking itself.
01:30:44.620 So you can see that this is a complete onslaught.
01:30:47.920 You have the spike causing inflammation, the spike causing clotting, the spike causing amyloid and prion disease,
01:30:56.360 and you have the spike causing all of this autoimmune disease.
01:31:00.460 So it's a total onslaught from every angle, and that's just the beginning of what spike does.
01:31:07.140 And it seems the more spike you have, the more inflammation you have.
01:31:11.280 so i think that the data is you know the pathologist never lies because they they can
01:31:17.300 see the tissue and you know i've seen the slides that that dr cole shows and it's astonishing to
01:31:24.160 see the spike protein it's just packing the endothelial cells which means it affects the
01:31:31.040 blood vessels we also know and this is frightening data from dr patterson who's looked at circulating
01:31:38.900 white cells. He's found 18 months after long COVID or vaccination, circulating white cells
01:31:46.140 still have spike protein within the cell. 18 months.
01:31:54.640 From the Epoch Times to Epoch, or whatever you want to call them. That's Dr. Paul Merrick.
01:32:02.580 received his medical degree from the University of Whitwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
01:32:10.980 Dr. Merrick did a critical care fellowship in London, Ontario.
01:32:15.260 Dr. Merrick has worked in various teaching hospitals in the U.S. since 1992.
01:32:19.660 He is board certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine,
01:32:24.360 neurocritical care, and nutrition science.
01:32:26.600 Dr. Merrick is currently professor of medicine and chief of pulmonary and critical care medicine,
01:32:32.000 Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
01:32:36.100 Dr. Merrick has written over 400 peer-reviewed journal articles,
01:32:40.920 80 book chapters, and authored four critical care books
01:32:44.260 and has been cited over 35,000 times in peer-reviewed publications.
01:32:53.400 And yet, I'll bet you any money
01:32:57.160 that they're going to try and discredit him and call him a quack
01:33:02.720 kind of amazing isn't it all right i'm going to give you one more before we get going tonight
01:33:11.460 as we all know elon musk is gonna buy twitter and he took a picture of himself today with a
01:33:18.840 kitchen sink as he was walking into twitter headquarters i think his representation was
01:33:24.880 i'm getting rid of everything but the kitchen sink or maybe including the kitchen sink
01:33:31.060 at these twitter offices he has threatened to fire 75 percent of the employees at twitter
01:33:38.840 and could this be a reason why let's watch this video a day in the life of a twitter employee
01:33:44.800 and find out for ourselves welcome to a day in my life as a twitter employee so this past week
01:33:53.220 went to sf for the first time at a twitter office badged in honestly wait wait wait wait wait wait
01:34:00.520 wait wait there's music in that you know what that means that that means that i'm gonna get
01:34:05.920 a copyright slap so i'm gonna have to get rid of that needless to say it shows her walking around
01:34:14.400 the offices of twitter going through sauna rooms and food rooms and everything's for free by the
01:34:22.800 way and massage rooms with comfortable chairs to sit in so you don't hurt your back oh yeah
01:34:30.860 it's not like working at all so i'm sure elon has seen that and he's decided no no no no and
01:34:39.000 probably all making a hundred grand a year or more so elon has seen all of that and he's gone
01:34:44.320 you know i don't think so we want this to be a profitable company and he said it's not a
01:34:51.280 profitable company even buying it for what is it 240 no 40 billion dollars he is buying this thing
01:34:57.600 for or 54 billion that's what it is 54 billion dollars and he goes he knows he's overpaying
01:35:04.580 so he's going to try and make this a profitable company not with employees like that i'll tell
01:35:08.880 you boom 75 of you are gone and the rest of you the rest of you who stay you'll be working
01:35:16.920 just like everybody else in the world and to me that is that's music to my ears my friends
