On today's show, Roger Stone and his co-host, Troy Smith, discuss the Democratic National Convention. They break down the incredible display of hypocrisy, and the massive lead for a P.I.P. that will be, hopefully, in their case, empowered by the fake news media. 00:00:00.000The Stone Zone, with legendary Republican strategist and political icon and pundit Roger Stone.
00:00:07.100Stone has served as a senior campaign aide to three Republican presidents.
00:00:11.120He is a New York Times bestselling author and a longtime friend and advisor of President Donald Trump.
00:00:16.760As an outspoken libertarian, Stone has appeared on thousands of broadcasts, spoken at countless venues,
00:00:22.140and lectured before the prestigious Oxford Political Union and the Cambridge Union Society.
00:00:27.180Due to his four-plus decades in the political and cultural arena, Stone has become a pop culture icon.
00:00:33.140And now, here's your host, Roger Stone.
00:00:41.360Welcome back. I'm Roger Stone, and yes, you are in The Stone Zone.
00:00:46.540While the incredible display of hypocrisy and the massive lead for a PSYOP that will be, hopefully, in their case, empowered by the fake news media,
00:01:03.780the Democrat National Convention is a thing to behold.
00:01:08.180Billionaires and multi-multi-millionaires lecturing us why it's not important to aspire to be wealthy.
00:01:18.480The whole thing really kind of defies a belief.
00:01:22.800I'm watching, but it's like a car crash.
00:01:25.300You'd like to look away, but you can't.
00:01:29.520We're going to talk about a lot of that in today's show.
00:01:33.060One thing is very clear to me, and that is, in the end, Pennsylvania is going to be pivotal in this race.
00:01:41.840That's why, later in the show, we're going to talk to an incredible man, Scott Pressler.
00:01:48.280I've been in American politics 45 years, but I've never been more impressed with any individual organizer
00:01:55.960and registrant of voters, a real on-the-ground commando who is doing an incredible job in the Keystone State of closing the gap.
00:02:09.180He's been active across the country, others like Cliff Maloney, and, of course, the efforts of Charlie Kirk and his entire group of young people.
00:02:22.500So we are making incredible strides in terms of new registrations to bring new voters to the process.
00:02:29.460And we're going to be talking to him in just a bit.
00:02:33.040I'm delighted to see the Republican National Committee ultimately embraced him.
00:02:37.640I thought it was foolish to have him out there essentially having to raise the money to finance his own expenses,
00:02:44.560the expenses of those who work with him to save the country.
00:02:47.700So I'm glad to see that he's been brought in by Lara Trump, an excellent decision and a step in the right direction.
00:02:55.160Anyway, there's so much to break down today.
00:02:57.720Let me bring in my co-host, the editor-in-chief over at Slingshot.news, the fastest pen in the East, my good colleague and friend Troy Smith.
00:03:32.840I want to get your thoughts on this speech where he lies about every aspect of Kamala Harris's policy and Donald Trump's policy.
00:03:41.840He misrepresents Trump and he lies about Kamala Harris's intentions and what the Democrats have done to this country over the last four years.
00:03:51.620We have people struggling to find work.
00:03:53.180We have more people that have left the workforce.
00:03:55.640We are now learning that a million of the jobs that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden claim that they added to this economy during the Biden presidency were revised.
00:05:26.060First of all, Donald Trump has always said throughout the time he's been in American politics that he would never in any way touch Social Security.
00:05:35.720He's opposed to extending the age before which you can receive your benefits.
00:05:40.820He's opposed to the IRS and the Social Security looking at your outside income, if you're lucky enough to have one.
00:05:51.500In other words, what you live on as a senior, in addition to your Social Security payments, it's called means testing.
00:05:58.380And then, of course, the next move is to cut your benefits.
00:06:03.560He's always said that he's against that.
00:06:05.360He's also opposed to any kind of federal abortion ban.
00:06:09.320This decision has been correctly turned back to the states, and some states have put some reasonable restrictions on abortion.
00:06:16.780But abortion in the United States is still essentially quite legal, and Donald Trump has always said, let the states decide.
00:06:23.620How many lies can this guy jam into one speech and then Kamala and taxes figure out what her Green New Deal would cost, figure out what all of her wacky proposals would cost?
00:06:39.180She wants to give every person who wants to buy a home, whether they have the means to service a mortgage or not, $25,000 to buy a home.
00:06:52.300The last time we tried this was under the Democrats.
00:06:56.580Andrew Cuomo was the secretary of HUD.
00:06:59.920We gave essentially loans to buy houses to people who could never ultimately service a mortgage.
00:07:09.560And it brought an entire economic crash, not just to the housing industry, but to the entire economy.
00:07:16.820And now Kamala Harris wants to try it again.
00:07:33.540You and I both have been attacked mercilessly for an interview we did with Caitlin Sinclair by members of the Democrat Party who say that you made some remark.
00:07:43.020Mark, you quoted a Mel Brooks movie is what you did, and they want to make a big fuss about this.
00:07:47.300But what you were talking about in the context of that clip is the fact that Tim Walton – I mentioned it earlier.
00:15:51.240Yes, it would consolidate those who understand the dangers of a Kamala Harris presidency, particularly with her nude sidekick, who seems quite excitable to me.
00:16:05.960Well, and Roger, just one more question on this front.
00:16:09.240And it's just a broad question about RFK Jr.'s position, you know, and because you've seen so many of these elections, you've seen people go to the White House.
00:16:16.400Is RFK's position in this election substantial enough that he would garner a guaranteed position in the White House if he does actually endorse Trump?
00:16:29.720Or is that a decision that you think would be made down the line if it happens at all?
00:16:36.580First of all, it doesn't work that way.
00:16:38.400Technically, actually, to promise someone an office in return for dropping out of a federal race, I looked at it at one point or asked a lawyer to research it.
00:16:51.400In 1968, Nixon thought about announcing his entire cabinet, but the research indicated that it would not be legal to promise someone a job.
00:17:03.260Now, you can say, I would appoint someone like Tulsi Gabbard, or I would appoint someone like Robert Kennedy.
00:17:10.200But you would certainly want to see him in a federal position.
00:17:35.240I probably disagree with him in the end on taxes because a lot of the programs that he proposes would cost a lot of money.
00:17:42.900On the other hand, I really think he's totally on the money when it comes to the lack of affordable housing in this country, whether it's buying or whether it's renting.
00:18:04.620There's a lot of good points, and I think he has proven himself as somebody who understands the bureaucracy, and having somebody like that on your side going forward I think is super important.
00:18:15.280Roger, there was a speech last night that was delivered at the DNC that I want to get your thoughts on particularly, and this is because you wrote one of the great books on the Clintons, and that is the Clinton War on Women that exposed Bill Clinton for his past rapes and Hillary Clinton for attacking the women, the victims of Bill Clinton's horrid, horrid sexual acts.
00:18:39.380So I want to play this clip of Bill Clinton's speech last night at the DNC.
00:18:44.880He took a break from whatever he does on a daily basis, and we want to roll these clips and get Roger's thoughts on Bill Clinton being rolled out there endorsing Kamala Harris.
00:18:55.280It's kind of an odd thing, and for Kamala Harris, the one that's going to be the first woman president, how does she feel to have a rapist on stage endorsing her?
00:20:49.840And every year after Reagan cut taxes, there's actually a substantial increase in federal revenues because more federal, more economic activity brings in more tax revenue.
00:21:02.340It's the whole point of supply-side growth economics.
00:27:15.300These are doing face-to-face, boots on the ground, direct voter contact from now until November.
00:27:21.020Now, when you were talking about the phony momentum that Kamala has, and, you know, I see that people have been a little scared from seeing that on social media, that Kamala might have this bump of enthusiasm.
00:27:37.300But I'm a data guy, and I'm a numbers guy.
00:27:39.680And I can tell you that since the Democrats undemocratically pushed Joe Biden out of the way and stalled Kamala, put up the most far-left, extreme vice presidential candidate, stolen valor, Tim Walz, that in all four of these last weeks, Roger, Republicans have continued to maintain a net gain of registered Republicans across these 67 counties in Pennsylvania.
00:28:08.320So even when people said that momentum is there, it is not reflective in the voter registration data that we're seeing in Pennsylvania.
00:28:17.940For example, in the last seven days, we had 5,000 voters statewide added, while the Democrats had 3,000.
00:28:26.600So we had a net gain of 2,000 in the last seven days alone in Pennsylvania.
00:28:34.040The key counties, people don't really understand how Pennsylvania works, but there's a great rivalry between Western and Eastern Pennsylvania.
00:28:44.520Eastern Pennsylvania anchored by Philadelphia, Western Pennsylvania anchored by Pittsburgh.
00:28:49.880Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are quite different as cities.
00:28:54.620The people in the East are ambivalent about the people in the West, and the people in the West despise the elitist liberals in the East.
00:29:02.880So there's always been greater intensity there.
00:29:06.060The Western part of the state always turns out at a higher rate than the Eastern part of the state.
00:29:13.020The central part of the state, it is often said, is more like Alabama than it is Pennsylvania.
00:29:28.580The collar counties around Philadelphia, Buck, Bucks, Montgomery, and so on, used to be the Republican suburbs, and Philadelphia, of course, most solidly Democrat.
00:29:44.400Over time, the outlying counties, such as Bucks and Montgomery, there's a third one, have become more Democrat.
00:29:56.800But at the same time, among working class Catholics in the West, through the hard work of Scott Pressler, we are registering people in the West who can outweigh those votes.
00:30:07.040So I think you'll have greater activity in the West.
00:30:11.380It's got to be honest with you, I think your efforts, your efforts and those of Cliff Maloney and those of Charlie Kirk and many, many others, there are some unsung heroes who are following your example.
00:30:25.420I think that's going to make the difference.
00:30:29.780Well, you have this definite wah-wah versus sheets divide in the state.
00:30:34.560And while I agree with you that the West, even in Allegheny County and every single county surrounding Pittsburgh, the West is trending to the right, but here's something that people I don't understand the significance of, Roger.
00:30:50.980We just flipped Bucks County to a plurality of registered Republican voters.
00:30:57.100Now, let me provide some context for that for a second.
00:31:00.260Four years ago, there were 15,000 more registered Democrats than Republicans.
00:31:08.320And as of Monday of this week, there are over 700 more registered Republicans in Bucks County.
00:31:15.180Now, somebody might go, Scott, 700, that's not a lot of people.
00:31:18.560But really, that's a shift of 15,700 to the right in just four years' time in a state, Roger, that was decided by 80,000 votes.
00:31:32.040So more than one-eighth of what we need to win the election in just one of those 67 counties, Bucks County is going to be decisive in this election.
00:31:42.500And furthermore, you touched on it for a second, yes, our hunters are going to be a huge part of the equation, knowing that 30% of them are not registered to vote.
00:31:54.480And furthermore, we are making a concerted effort, especially in that Alabama region of Pennsylvania, focusing on the Amish.
00:32:04.280Governor Josh Shapiro is waging a war on religious freedom, on school choice, on the right not to be coerced in the vaccinations, and on dairy and raw milk.
00:32:15.700And if we were smart as a party, we would really push as much legislation as we can, supporting our farmers, our dairy and raw milk, because we are seeing the Amish register in numbers that they haven't before.
00:33:13.520But your tax problems have to be addressed.
00:33:16.580And three-quarters of what I owe them is interest in penalties, in which they will not negotiate.
00:33:21.520I'll be paying the IRS for the rest of my life, but at least it is settled in my mind, and I will meet my obligations.
00:33:29.920If you have a huge tax debt, however, let me urge you not to try to deal with the IRS yourself, but to go to tax professionals, people who can represent you, who can negotiate on your behalf.
00:33:44.500Whether you owe $10,000 or a million dollars, they can help you, whether it is a business or personal, whether you have the ability to pay everything now or you have to pay over time.
00:33:58.680You need to work with the people who are our best at this.
00:34:04.640They are, of course, my friends at the Tax Network USA.
00:34:09.800Now, Tax Network USA, you can reach them two different ways.
00:34:14.500One, by calling 1-800-985-1000, that will give you a private, free consultation about your tax situation.
00:34:24.800Or you can go to their website, which is tnusa.com slash stone.
00:34:32.420But don't try to deal with the IRS yourself.
