00:00:30.000 This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:00:33.360 People love him and respect him. Roger Stone.
00:00:36.140 Now, get in the zone. It's The Stone Zone. Here's Roger Stone.
00:00:43.520 And you're jumping into the deep end of The Stone Zone. I'm your host, Roger Stone.
00:00:50.920 In case you missed it, this past Saturday, there was yet another assassination attempt on President Donald Trump.
00:00:59.100 This, of course, got very little media coverage, but tragically, a man named Austin Tucker Martin, 21 years old, breached the secure perimeter of the president's estate in Florida, Mar-a-Lago.
00:01:13.040 President and First Lady Melania Trump were not there for the weekend, which raises a number of very serious questions about this entire incident.
00:01:24.960 The man slipped into the gate, I guess, when a vehicle entered, immediately confronted three law enforcement officers, two secret service agents, and a Palm Beach County sheriff's deputy.
00:01:41.560 When he pointed his shotgun at them, they opened fire and killed him.
00:01:46.600 This, once again, underlines what a dangerous time we are in in America, and that the hateful, nasty, vicious rhetoric used by the left against President Donald Trump, bigot, racist, Nazi, all of that, that is what generates this kind of activity.
00:02:11.400 Now, we know very little about Austin Tucker Martin, other than the fact that he is deceased.
00:02:17.740 He had no previous record of political activity, no seeming radicalization.
00:02:25.240 This raises, once again, more questions than it answers.
00:02:29.180 But I pray every day, every night, for the safety of our president and the First Family, and all of our political leaders of both parties in these difficult times.
00:02:42.800 Meanwhile, Team USA defeated Canada 2-1 in overtime to capture its first Olympic gold medal since 1980,
00:02:51.960 in a move that brought great pride to America and shifted the entire Olympic narrative back to patriotism from the woke athletes who were using their positions to sow seeds of disunity about what's happening in America today.
00:03:09.220 After their victory, President Donald Trump personally called the players to congratulate them.
00:03:13.440 The FaceTime celebration happened right inside the locker room where athletes gathered around a phone held by FBI Director Kash Patel,
00:03:23.060 who could be seen in the locker room celebrating with the gold medalists.
00:03:28.700 Head coach Mike Sullivan said the president told the players he was proud of them and that their victory inspired the entire country.
00:03:37.460 And judging by packed watch parties across America, he wasn't wrong.
00:03:41.480 I think it was Justin Trudeau, who was quoted, former Prime Minister, former Premier of Canada, was quoted as saying,
00:03:51.140 you'll never beat us at our game.
00:03:53.460 Well, we just did.
00:03:55.280 The president even invited the team to attend the upcoming State of the Union address,
00:03:59.780 offering military transportation to bring them to Washington if needed.
00:04:03.700 The presidents responded instantly, they'd be honored.
00:04:07.440 Team Captain Austin Matthews called the moment an honor, saying,
00:04:11.480 representing the United States and bringing home the gold meant everything to those in the locker room
00:04:17.480 and millions of Americans who were cheering them on.
00:04:21.240 The celebration reflected something bigger than sports, in my opinion, its national identity.
00:04:27.280 For years, Americans have been told to downplay their patriots and being chided for loving their country
00:04:33.000 that we've been told was founded on racism and bigotry.
00:04:38.860 But moments like this remind the country what shared pride looks like,
00:04:43.920 and that for our once, at our core, we are all Americans.
00:04:48.880 This is a great moment for our nation, and if you think Canada is mad after losing the gold in hockey,
00:04:55.160 just imagine how angry they will be after President Trump negotiates the statehood
00:05:02.180 for the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan that could conceivably be our 51st and 52nd states.
00:05:11.000 You see, under the Canadian Constitution, any province, that's like a state here in the States,
00:05:17.880 can declare its independence by a simple vote of the majority of the people within that province.
00:05:24.780 That would then make them independent.
00:05:27.600 They then could apply for stateship, a process that does take some time,
00:05:33.340 and the approval of a majority of the states.
00:05:36.460 But Saskatchewan, which is the smaller of the two, one of the wealthiest in terms of rare earth minerals,
00:05:46.020 oil, gash, potash, and other natural ingredients,
00:05:55.400 as well as Saskatchewan, somewhat larger, but also very rich in energy and rare earth minerals,
00:06:02.640 could ultimately provide four additional Republican U.S. senators
00:06:08.260 and a parcel of new Republican House members.
00:06:11.280 These are among the most conservative and productive provinces in Canada.
00:06:18.060 So keep an eye on those independence movements in Alberta and in Saskatchewan.
00:06:23.360 They are very real.
00:06:24.540 I know some of the people involved, they are well-meaning Canadian patriots,
00:06:30.100 but they're tired of essentially providing the riches and the wealth
00:06:35.720 for those in the eastern part of the country who produce, well, nothing other than crime, 0.93
00:06:41.920 hopelessness, and drug addiction.
00:06:44.820 Meanwhile, the Mexican officials confirm that President Trump has killed the infamous drug lord
00:06:51.500 who goes by the name of Menche.
00:06:56.960 We are going to be, later in the program, we're going to be interviewing Derek Maltz.
00:07:02.200 Derek is the former acting director of the Drug Enforcement Administration.
00:07:09.380 He had a terrific interview on Fox this morning.
00:07:12.120 Even President Trump complimented on him.
00:07:14.680 We're going to analyze what's happening in Mexico to a much greater adhere with El Mencho.
00:07:21.420 But it has been confirmed that the killing of this notorious cartel kingpin,
00:07:26.800 known as El Mencho, occurred because of the use of U.S. intelligence.
00:07:31.980 El Mencho led the ruthless Jalisco New Generation cartel, 0.95
00:07:37.680 a violent rival to the Sinaloa cartel.
00:07:42.080 The U.S. State Department offered a $15 million reward for his capture.
00:07:46.860 Mexico's Ministry of National Defense confirmed that American intelligence helped to make the strike possible.
00:07:53.780 Deputy Secretary Christopher Landau called it proof that the good guys are stronger than the bad guys
00:08:00.360 and that there's no more pussyfooting around with the Trump administration on watch.
00:08:04.600 If you are a cartel thug, your life on the planet is endangered.
00:08:10.740 We'll be talking about more of this later in the program, as I say, with Derek Maltz,
00:08:16.260 who is the former acting administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration,
00:08:24.420 and an expert on the subject.
00:08:28.800 A federal judge has permanently blocked the Justice Department from releasing the section of former special counsel Jack Smith's report
00:08:37.420 dealing with the classified documents case against President Donald Trump,
00:08:42.040 reinforcing a major legal rebuke to the prosecution.
00:08:46.060 U.S. District Judge Eileen Cannon granted requests from President Trump and his former aides,
00:08:53.280 Walt Notta and Carlos de Oliveira, to prohibit disclosure of the report's second volume.
00:09:01.300 The order bars the Attorney General, now and in the future, for making it public.
00:09:06.640 The ruling follows Cannon's earlier decision throwing out the charges entirely
00:09:11.020 after determining that Smith had been unlawfully appointed special counsel.
00:09:15.640 Because the case ended without any conviction, the judge emphasized that the defendants retained the full presumption of influence
00:09:22.920 and that releasing investigative accusations, which were produced after Mr. Smith's appointment had been determined to be illegal,
00:09:32.940 would violate basic due process protections.
00:09:37.020 Cannon also noted that the report contains extensive grand jury material and protected discovery.
00:09:43.200 Historically, special counsels released reports only when no charges were filed or guilt was established in court,
00:09:51.360 not after a failed prosecution.
00:09:54.620 President Trump's attorneys praised the decision, arguing that an unconstitutional prosecutor
00:10:00.320 should not be allowed to publish unproven and false allegations,
00:10:05.320 motivated in this case by malice.
00:10:07.740 Justice Department lawyers himself acknowledged that the report should remain internal
00:10:12.920 and warned that releasing it could undermine the separation of powers.
00:10:17.940 Smith, you'll remember, brought two criminal cases in 2023,
00:10:22.720 both of which collapsed after Trump won re-election.
00:10:26.180 He resigned before the new administration took office.
00:10:29.520 With the charges dismissed and the appointment deemed unlawful,
00:10:33.360 that completely delegitimizes Smith's entire extra-constitutional investigation.
00:10:40.680 Now, he himself, I believe, should be prosecuted over his role in the illicit Arctic Frost spying
00:10:47.440 and other scandals emanating from the Russian collusion hoax,
00:10:51.700 as well as the January 6th Fed's surrection overreach,
00:10:55.740 the raid on Mar-a-Lago in the phony documents case.
00:11:01.760 All of this is calling out for both accountability and justice.
00:11:08.900 President Donald Trump taking direct aim at big tech influence yesterday,
00:11:13.640 calling on Netflix to fire Susan Rice, the former national security advisor,
00:11:19.560 in a stunning interview, which we played yesterday here on the Red Apple Audio Networks.
00:11:27.880 Susan Rice actually threatened President Donald Trump 0.99
00:11:31.320 and threatened corporations or institutions who, quote-unquote,
00:11:36.120 take a knee to the president.
00:11:38.480 This was a chilling comment by Susan Rice.
00:11:41.780 I see precisely why the president called on the Netflix board to fire her. 0.95

00:12:45.180 Well, I think that's the problem right now is a lot of people that are close to retirement,
00:12:48.320 they're taking so much risks.
00:12:50.260 And if we do get a big sell-off, it could derail their retirement.
00:12:53.660 Listen to The Payne Points of Wealth on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:13:27.340 This is the Stone Zone.
00:13:42.280 Now, get him a zone.
00:13:44.220 It's the Stone Zone.
00:13:46.220 A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going,
00:13:50.140 and he's smart, and he's strong, and people love him.
00:13:53.120 Not everybody, but people love him and respect him.
00:13:55.720 Roger Stone.
00:13:56.780 Where's Roger Stone?
00:13:58.040 Here's Roger Stone.
00:13:59.980 Well, California Governor Gavin Newsom,
00:14:03.220 who is probably the putative frontrunner for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination,
00:14:10.720 is now facing biting criticism after comments he made
00:14:14.520 during a campaign-style appearance before black voters in Georgia,
00:14:18.300 where he attempted to portray himself as relatable
00:14:22.440 by joking about his academic performance, which he said was poor,
00:14:26.940 and saying that he struggles to read prepared speeches.
00:14:30.660 Newsom told the audience he was a 960 SAT guy,
00:14:35.560 and he wasn't trying to act smarter than anyone else.
00:14:38.500 Newsom's patronizing and politically calculated measure
00:14:41.800 shows how low of an opinion he has of black voters.
00:14:45.680 I would say that it was, in fact, racist.
00:14:48.900 The backlash against Newsom came quickly online,
00:14:51.700 including criticism from rapper Nicki Minaj,
00:14:54.880 who accused the California governor of talking down to his audience
00:14:58.180 rather than having any kind of sincere dialogue with them.
00:15:02.400 This is yet another instance of a Democrat
00:15:04.880 trying to manufacture authenticity
00:15:06.960 instead of presenting clear policies or accomplishments.
00:15:10.640 Gavin Newsom, who is a member of one of the wealthiest families in the country,
00:15:16.300 he is a Getty, and is extraordinarily well-connected,
00:15:20.680 is, as I said, probably the 2028 presidential frontrunner for the Democrats.
00:15:26.320 And I think he was, in this case,
00:15:28.660 trying to distance himself from his undeniable elite background,
00:15:34.900 who can forget that while average Californians were locked down
00:15:39.520 in the COVID-19 restrictions,
00:15:43.100 Gavin Newsom was at the extremely exclusive French laundry restaurant in California,
00:15:50.460 living it up.
00:15:51.420 You see, rules for thee, but not for me.
00:15:55.180 That's how the Democrats operate.
00:15:57.600 This reminded me of when Hillary Clinton claimed 1.00
00:16:00.400 that she always carried a bottle of hot sauce everywhere she went,
00:16:05.100 kept it in her purse,
00:16:06.740 which was probably not true,
00:16:08.880 and a naked, although I think clumsy, appeal to black voters. 0.99
00:16:14.920 Instead of appealing to them,
00:16:16.360 this actually alienated black voters
00:16:18.880 who laughed at her for her pathetic pandering.
00:16:22.860 President Trump did much better among African American voters
00:16:25.960 than any Republican in history
00:16:27.440 because he talked in the same manner to black voters
00:16:31.240 that he spoke to any other voters.
00:16:33.840 And I think he recognized
00:16:35.200 that African American voters
00:16:37.820 want the same thing that all voters want.
00:16:41.100 They want safe neighborhoods and communities.
00:16:44.680 They want job opportunities.
00:16:47.420 They want quality public schools.
00:16:51.260 They want low inflation.
00:16:53.300 They want reasonable food prices.
00:16:57.980 They want reasonable gasoline prices.
00:17:01.660 They want affordable and available housing.
00:17:06.880 This has always been one of the great mistakes
00:17:09.500 in the Republican Party
00:17:10.540 before Donald Trump came along,
00:17:12.700 thinking that you had to have messaging
00:17:15.040 designed specifically for black voters,
00:17:19.040 not recognizing that black voters,
00:17:20.780 particularly with a rising and more viable black middle class,
00:17:25.840 that those voters want the same thing
00:17:28.980 that all voters want.
00:17:30.500 It's very interesting now
00:17:32.260 that a plurality of voters identify as independence,
00:17:36.620 and authenticity is becoming more and more important
00:17:39.800 to the electorate.
00:17:41.460 Polls that I saw recently
00:17:42.980 show that as many as 47% of voters
00:17:46.860 identify with neither Republicans nor Democrats.
00:17:52.600 This growing political independence
00:17:55.000 has a lot to do with the fact
00:17:57.080 that voters are distrustful of both major parties,
00:18:02.240 distrustful of the national institutions
00:18:05.920 like the media,
00:18:08.180 and that there are an entire subset of voters out there
00:18:12.480 who turn out when Donald Trump is on the ballot,
00:18:15.420 but do not turn out when he is not.
00:18:18.420 This explains the 2022 elections, for example.
00:18:23.840 That is the great challenge to Donald Trump,
00:18:26.400 getting those voters to turn out
00:18:28.240 in the midterm elections,
00:18:31.140 and they have been working very hard
00:18:33.780 in these special elections
00:18:35.540 to prepare for the upcoming onslaught.
00:18:40.340 2026 is going to be crucial.
00:18:42.280 Those who are throwing in the towel
00:18:44.460 and saying that the Republicans
00:18:45.640 will already lose the midterm elections,
00:18:49.080 they don't understand that in America today,
00:18:52.480 a day, a week, is a lifetime.
00:18:55.980 Our politics is that volatile.
00:18:58.280 When we come back,
00:18:59.300 we will be joined by
00:19:01.040 former acting Drug Enforcement Administration
00:19:05.140 Administrator Derek Maltz
00:19:07.920 to break down for us
00:19:09.060 exactly what happened in Mexico
00:19:11.120 and what it means for America.
00:19:13.920 Don't go away.
00:19:26.460 This is the Stone Zone.
00:19:28.880 Now, get him a zone.
00:19:30.800 It's the Stone Zone.
00:19:32.820 A man who's gone through hell,
00:19:34.500 but he's kept going
00:19:36.540 and he's smart
00:19:37.520 and he's strong
00:19:38.500 and people love him.
00:19:39.900 Not everybody,
00:19:40.740 but people love him and respect him.
00:19:42.360 Roger Stone.
00:19:43.380 Where's Roger Stone?
00:19:44.640 Here's Roger Stone.
00:19:48.080 Welcome back into the Stone Zone.
00:19:50.800 Now we are most honored
00:19:52.420 to have with us Derek Maltz.
00:19:54.620 Derek recently served
00:19:56.500 as President Trump's acting administrator
00:19:59.240 for the Drug Enforcement Administration.
00:20:02.080 He had an excellent interview
00:20:04.140 on Fox and Friends.
00:20:05.640 The president even commented
00:20:07.480 on how outstanding it was
00:20:09.260 and we're very honored
00:20:10.200 to have him with us today.
00:20:11.920 Derek, welcome to the Stone Zone.
00:20:16.040 Roger, thank you for having me.
00:20:17.520 I really appreciate it.
00:20:19.680 Let's kind of start from the beginning
00:20:21.340 because news is so fast moving here.
00:20:23.800 Many Americans may not fully comprehend
00:20:25.860 what transpired.
00:20:27.140 So if you would,
00:20:28.240 tell us what happened in Mexico
00:20:30.220 before we get into the implications of it.
00:20:33.420 So number one,
00:20:34.900 the world needs to understand
00:20:36.380 that the most wanted fugitive
00:20:39.640 in the Western Hemisphere,
00:20:41.500 this narco-terrorist El Mencho, 0.66
00:20:43.940 is no longer with us
00:20:45.180 because he was destroying
00:20:47.220 our families and communities
00:20:49.300 and our children in America
00:20:50.820 and terrorizing the citizens of Mexico.
00:20:53.060 So he was shot dead
00:20:54.700 in a very high intense
00:20:56.660 special operations
00:20:58.100 operation down there in Mexico
00:21:01.180 where the Mexican military
00:21:03.500 were trying to go apprehend him
00:21:05.940 or just locate him
00:21:07.740 and they got into a firefight.
00:21:09.420 So the good news is
00:21:11.340 that he's no longer here
00:21:13.120 to cause destruction to our country.
00:21:15.980 But you got to remember,
00:21:17.560 the CJNG cartel is 0.99
00:21:20.360 and has been
00:21:21.300 one of the most dangerous
00:21:23.260 narco-terrorist cartel
00:21:24.840 in the world.
00:21:26.100 And they're not just operating in America,
00:21:28.280 they're sending drugs
00:21:29.080 all over the world.
00:21:30.400 And it's a huge
00:21:31.180 national security,
00:21:32.160 public health threat.
00:21:33.620 Thank God President Trump
00:21:35.060 recognized
00:21:35.840 that Americans come first 1.00
00:21:39.340 and we had a whole government approach.
00:21:41.660 We've been working
00:21:42.180 with the Mexican counterparts
00:21:43.300 and ultimately
00:21:44.400 they did a great job
00:21:45.820 and they took him out.
00:21:46.960 One thing I will say, Roger,
00:21:48.160 because, you know,
00:21:49.460 they've lost like 20 or 30.
00:21:51.320 It's not official yet.
00:21:52.680 You know, Mexican military guys
00:21:54.180 on the front line.
00:21:54.980 So we want to definitely
00:21:56.260 thank them for their bravery
00:21:57.720 and their heroism
00:21:59.060 to, you know,
00:21:59.840 fight this battle
00:22:00.620 against these terrorists.
00:22:02.840 This, of course,
00:22:03.920 cuts against the narrative
00:22:05.200 by some
00:22:06.060 who say that
00:22:06.960 the current president
00:22:08.100 of Mexico,
00:22:09.280 Sheinbaum,
00:22:10.380 shields the cartels,
00:22:12.160 that her anti-cartel rhetoric
00:22:14.920 is exactly that.
00:22:16.260 What's your analysis
00:22:18.140 of that situation?
00:22:19.920 So, Roger,
00:22:20.420 great question.
00:22:21.160 So I was lucky enough,
00:22:22.200 thanks to President Trump,
00:22:23.300 putting me in the acting DEA role
00:22:24.940 to be at Dulles Airport
00:22:26.120 last February
00:22:27.060 when we greeted
00:22:29.000 a Mexican military aircraft
00:22:30.800 with seven high-level
00:22:32.880 Mexican operators,
00:22:35.640 kingpins like the Los Zetas, 0.96
00:22:38.200 cartel leaders,
00:22:39.180 Z-40, Z-42,
00:22:40.480 got off the plane.
00:22:41.720 Mencho's brother
00:22:42.540 was on the plane.
00:22:43.480 And by the way,
00:22:44.560 that same day,
00:22:45.580 there was a total of 29
00:22:47.760 high-level Mexican targets 0.94
00:22:49.620 removed from Mexico 0.96
00:22:50.660 to the U.S.
00:22:51.680 Since then,
00:22:52.660 by the way,
00:22:53.660 they have also removed
00:22:55.080 37 this past January of 26
00:22:57.860 and another 26 last August.
00:23:00.380 So a total of 92
00:23:01.460 very high-level,
00:23:03.520 very, very important figures
00:23:05.220 in Mexico
00:23:05.740 were sent to America
00:23:07.000 to face justice.
00:23:08.540 Roger,
00:23:09.180 this has never happened
00:23:10.140 in the history of the country.
00:23:11.560 So that's tremendous cooperation.
00:23:12.900 Another thing,
00:23:14.060 the killer of Enrique Camarena,
00:23:16.320 the DEA agent in 1985,
00:23:18.680 an individual
00:23:19.480 by the name of
00:23:20.200 Rafael Caro Quintero,
00:23:21.680 he was also sent here
00:23:22.920 by President Scheinbaum
00:23:24.200 and Omar Helfouch.
00:23:25.880 So the Mexican government,
00:23:27.480 since the past year or so,
00:23:29.280 since President Trump
00:23:30.140 has been in office,
00:23:31.360 has done amazing work
00:23:32.820 to support
00:23:33.500 our joint efforts
00:23:35.020 to destroy
00:23:35.740 and decimate the cartels.
00:23:37.620 What I will say
00:23:38.400 is there was the leadership
00:23:39.820 of this administration
00:23:41.200 to be able to make it
00:23:42.720 clear to the world
00:23:43.600 with decisive messaging
00:23:45.700 that we're not going
00:23:46.660 to tolerate this any further
00:23:48.400 and we need to support.
00:23:49.900 So bottom line is
00:23:50.880 that she's out there,
00:23:52.760 her troops are out there
00:23:53.640 going after cartels
00:23:54.620 every day,
00:23:55.660 destroying labs,
00:23:56.680 taking mass amounts
00:23:58.060 of drugs and assets
00:23:59.880 and guns off the playing field.
00:24:02.740 And right now,
00:24:03.520 they're a solid partner
00:24:04.520 as far as I'm concerned.
00:24:05.480 Yeah, people,
00:24:07.380 I've known Donald Trump
00:24:08.140 for 50 years,
00:24:09.060 people who may not get it yet
00:24:10.980 should.
00:24:11.600 This is a man
00:24:12.280 who says what he means
00:24:13.400 and means what he says.
00:24:15.920 And he's very serious
00:24:17.420 about his challenge
00:24:19.100 to the cartels.
00:24:20.120 Cartels are very powerful,
00:24:21.400 they're very funded,
00:24:22.560 well funded,
00:24:23.160 they're very dangerous.
00:24:24.760 But Donald Trump
00:24:25.900 is determined
00:24:26.720 to end this deadly flow
00:24:28.840 of drugs
00:24:29.340 into our country.
00:24:30.760 Derek,
00:24:30.960 what is the likely
00:24:32.060 immediate impact
00:24:33.700 on the United States
00:24:35.280 and the dangerous fentanyl
00:24:37.760 that has been flooding
00:24:39.420 into our country?
00:24:41.200 Okay, so the good news is
00:24:42.580 there's already been
00:24:43.280 an immediate impact
00:24:44.300 the day Donald Trump
00:24:45.260 took the office
00:24:46.140 of president.
00:24:47.080 So we have seen
00:24:48.660 a decrease
00:24:49.460 in fentanyl production
00:24:51.500 in Mexico.
00:24:52.420 We've seen a decrease
00:24:53.380 of fentanyl seizures
00:24:55.000 at the southern border.
00:24:56.780 The bad news is
00:24:58.180 that we're seeing
00:24:59.460 a lot of methamphetamine,
00:25:00.940 a lot of cocaine
00:25:01.780 still coming into this country. 0.86
00:25:03.700 We also are seeing
00:25:05.140 much more dangerous
00:25:06.640 synthetic opioids
00:25:07.980 like carfentanil,
00:25:09.680 like nidazine,
00:25:11.220 isonidazine,
00:25:12.460 metanidazine,
00:25:13.360 protonidazine,
00:25:14.740 and that stuff
00:25:15.440 is more deadly
00:25:16.220 than fentanyl.
00:25:17.040 We don't know
00:25:17.880 if all of these
00:25:19.060 particular substances
00:25:20.060 are coming over
00:25:20.860 the southern border
00:25:21.580 or if the cartels
00:25:23.120 are actively involved
00:25:24.280 in the production.
00:25:25.060 We do know
00:25:25.660 that the Chinese criminals 1.00
00:25:27.200 are the ones behind
00:25:28.600 this whole catastrophic
00:25:29.820 disaster in our country
00:25:31.500 and they're working
00:25:32.160 very closely
00:25:32.960 with the cartels.
00:25:34.660 So, you know,
00:25:35.420 they've been trying
00:25:36.440 to destabilize
00:25:37.920 our country
00:25:38.460 by weaponizing drugs
00:25:40.480 to go after
00:25:41.260 our future generation.
00:25:42.540 So, very strategic,
00:25:44.140 very, very sound plan
00:25:45.820 by the criminal networks.
00:25:47.860 So, we have a lot
00:25:48.700 of work to do
00:25:49.580 in regards to, like,
00:25:51.540 the immediate impact
00:25:52.500 over Mencho's death.
00:25:54.180 I mean, right now,
00:25:55.140 there's just going to be
00:25:55.760 more and more violence
00:25:57.320 with the cartels
00:25:58.600 fighting with each other,
00:25:59.540 which is not a bad thing
00:26:01.060 because they're killing
00:26:01.600 each other.
00:26:02.740 But, obviously,
00:26:04.080 we're concerned
00:26:04.560 about the safety
00:26:05.240 and security
00:26:05.740 of the Mexican citizens
00:26:07.200 and, of course,
00:26:08.020 American citizens
00:26:08.920 that are down there.
00:26:10.640 You kind of anticipated
00:26:12.080 my next question.
00:26:13.260 I was going to say,
00:26:13.840 are there other aspects
00:26:15.000 and activities
00:26:15.640 such as money laundering
00:26:16.900 which may have been
00:26:18.800 and continue to be
00:26:20.080 beneficial to governments
00:26:21.240 adversarial
00:26:21.820 of the United States here
00:26:22.880 such as by China?
00:26:25.360 Well, I'm glad you said that,
00:26:27.920 but, unfortunately,
00:26:28.640 it would take me all day
00:26:29.780 to talk about this.
00:26:30.640 I'll try to make it
00:26:31.340 very brief, okay?
00:26:32.840 Let's just make it clear.
00:26:34.140 I ran the Special Operations Division
00:26:36.000 for 10 years
00:26:37.180 before I retired.
00:26:38.420 The attack against America
00:26:39.860 with chemical substances
00:26:41.040 at a Chinese lab
00:26:42.120 started many years ago.
00:26:43.720 Of course, everyone knows
00:26:44.660 they've been providing
00:26:45.720 methamphetamine precursors
00:26:47.300 for so many years
00:26:48.180 to the Chinese and Mexican cartels.
00:26:50.820 But what people don't realize
00:26:52.100 is they started
00:26:52.740 a bombing campaign
00:26:53.820 literally sending
00:26:55.360 synthetic cannabinoids
00:26:56.580 and capanones,
00:26:57.520 K2 spice,
00:26:58.740 bath salts
00:26:59.260 into the country
00:26:59.980 for several years.
00:27:01.120 Then they switched over
00:27:02.040 in 2012
00:27:02.940 with fentanyl
00:27:04.180 directly to America
00:27:05.240 in the mail.
00:27:06.140 We went and briefed
00:27:07.240 the former Attorney General,
00:27:08.960 Eric Holder,
00:27:09.980 on Operation Deadly Merchant
00:27:11.480 because we saw
00:27:12.220 the perfect storm
00:27:13.500 of death and destruction
00:27:14.460 in 2014
00:27:15.500 with a lot of the deaths
00:27:17.120 that were coming
00:27:17.700 all over the country
00:27:18.640 because of the Chinese 0.98
00:27:20.220 working with the cartels.
00:27:21.380 In 2015,
00:27:22.280 it was a game changer
00:27:24.200 because they started
00:27:24.960 providing the key
00:27:26.140 money laundering services
00:27:27.220 to the Mexican cartels.
00:27:28.720 That gave the Mexicans 1.00
00:27:30.780 an incentive
00:27:31.620 to work closer with them
00:27:33.300 because they want
00:27:33.840 to get paid.
00:27:34.760 So they developed
00:27:35.460 very, very sophisticated
00:27:36.780 trade-based money laundering
00:27:38.700 and mirror transactions,
00:27:40.480 picking up large amounts
00:27:41.620 of cash in America,
00:27:43.100 buying property,
00:27:44.100 buying real estate,
00:27:45.140 buying farmland
00:27:46.120 in strategic locations,
00:27:47.560 and then laundering
00:27:48.440 the money
00:27:48.840 back to the kingpits.
00:27:50.140 But, Roger,
00:27:51.000 here's the thing
00:27:51.600 that people are not
00:27:52.820 talking about
00:27:53.520 that's really critical
00:27:54.680 to understand.
00:27:55.680 Under the last four years
00:27:56.880 of the Biden administration,
00:27:58.520 Chinese nationals
00:27:59.380 came in at record levels,
00:28:00.780 and a lot of them
00:28:01.620 were setting up
00:28:02.300 these very, very sophisticated
00:28:03.980 marijuana grow operations.
00:28:05.820 Why is that important?
00:28:07.000 Because the marijuana
00:28:07.820 that they're growing
00:28:08.920 is very, very intense,
00:28:11.120 THC, pure,
00:28:12.340 like 30% or more,
00:28:13.960 but they're spraying
00:28:14.660 Chinese pesticides
00:28:15.700 on these crops.
00:28:17.200 So we have Americans
00:28:18.200 thinking it's very safe
00:28:19.940 to smoke marijuana,
00:28:21.640 but when it's in a black market
00:28:23.440 and run by the Chinese
00:28:24.480 Communist Party,
00:28:25.700 that's not safe.
00:28:26.740 And the next thing
00:28:27.340 I'm going to say,
00:28:27.840 and the last thing
00:28:28.340 I'm going to say,
00:28:29.140 is the vapes now
00:28:30.120 that are coming in
00:28:30.840 at record levels,
00:28:32.080 the vape products,
00:28:33.060 they're coming from
00:28:33.580 China illegally, 0.88
00:28:34.840 and they're putting
00:28:35.380 substances in the vapes
00:28:36.780 that are harming our kids
00:28:38.180 and destroying their lungs, 0.86
00:28:40.160 and we're seeing
00:28:40.740 an increase
00:28:41.360 definitely from the marijuana
00:28:43.720 with psychosis,
00:28:45.180 schizophrenia,
00:28:45.920 anxiety,
00:28:46.440 and it's causing
00:28:47.840 more damage
00:28:49.100 to our kids' brains.
00:28:50.440 So what's the bottom line,
00:28:51.680 Roger?
00:28:52.300 This is a full-blown
00:28:53.300 chemical war
00:28:54.200 to the country,
00:28:55.840 and unfortunately,
00:28:56.880 the cartels
00:28:57.480 have been used
00:28:58.080 as a proxy,
00:28:59.400 in my opinion,
00:29:00.200 just like Hezbollah 0.99
00:29:00.960 is used as a proxy
00:29:01.880 by Iran,
00:29:02.980 to destabilize
00:29:04.000 and destroy 0.82
00:29:04.560 our communities
00:29:05.280 and our country.
00:29:06.060 So I try to put that
00:29:07.620 in a very concise way.
00:29:09.180 It's a little long,
00:29:10.040 but I hope you understand.
00:29:11.740 No, I think
00:29:12.360 it was excellent.
00:29:13.460 One of the questions
00:29:14.160 I really failed
00:29:15.460 to understand
00:29:16.120 is why we still
00:29:17.360 do not have
00:29:18.560 a federal law
00:29:19.360 that prohibits
00:29:20.080 Chinese nationals
00:29:21.300 or those fronting
00:29:24.140 for the CCP
00:29:24.960 because there is
00:29:26.080 no private property
00:29:27.080 in China.
00:29:27.840 Everything belongs
00:29:28.660 to the government.
00:29:29.520 From buying up
00:29:30.700 prime ranch land,
00:29:32.700 farm land,
00:29:34.100 in some cases,
00:29:35.360 public facilities
00:29:36.400 such as toll roads,
00:29:38.580 bridges,
00:29:39.660 tunnels,
00:29:41.120 harbors,
00:29:42.700 you cannot buy land
00:29:44.320 in Canada
00:29:44.880 unless you are
00:29:45.660 a Canadian,
00:29:46.760 yet here in the
00:29:47.500 United States
00:29:48.260 we allow
00:29:49.100 Chinese interests
00:29:50.500 to buy up
00:29:51.600 some of our
00:29:52.160 most valuable
00:29:53.200 real estate.
00:29:54.340 Here in Florida
00:29:55.240 with great fanfare,
00:29:56.520 our governor announced
00:29:57.320 that he would pass
00:29:58.020 a law prohibiting
00:29:59.520 the Chinese
00:30:00.380 from buying property
00:30:01.460 in Florida,
00:30:02.220 but then when you
00:30:03.120 read the small print,
00:30:04.760 what you found
00:30:05.360 is they were only
00:30:06.300 prohibited
00:30:06.880 from buying land
00:30:08.580 if it was contiguous
00:30:09.720 to a, quote,
00:30:10.720 national security
00:30:12.360 facility.
00:30:13.800 That's not even
00:30:14.480 defined anywhere
00:30:15.380 in the law.
00:30:16.000 I'm not even sure
00:30:16.480 what that means.
00:30:18.860 The sooner we have
00:30:20.500 an absolute ban
00:30:21.760 on the communist
00:30:23.040 Chinese
00:30:23.600 or those
00:30:24.820 fronting for them
00:30:26.040 purchasing
00:30:26.900 strategic properties
00:30:28.500 in the United States,
00:30:29.740 my opinion,
00:30:30.700 the better off.
00:30:31.920 I think you would agree
00:30:33.300 that it's now fair
00:30:34.180 to say
00:30:34.700 that terrorism
00:30:36.240 and narcotics trafficking
00:30:37.680 are far more
00:30:40.100 complex today
00:30:41.520 than simple
00:30:42.720 drug smuggling
00:30:43.640 was as we
00:30:44.580 once understood it.
00:30:46.140 Oh, wait,
00:30:46.460 100%.
00:30:47.200 I couldn't agree
00:30:47.980 with you more
00:30:48.560 the way you articulated
00:30:49.540 that.
00:30:49.980 Thank you for
00:30:50.560 understanding this
00:30:51.420 and I wish
00:30:51.940 we'd be able
00:30:52.680 to connect the dots
00:30:53.740 at the highest levels.
00:30:55.460 Unfortunately,
00:30:56.160 I don't want to be mean,
00:30:57.080 but there's some people
00:30:57.860 that advise
00:30:58.560 our president
00:30:59.560 that don't have
00:31:00.340 the background
00:31:00.880 and the experience
00:31:01.640 and the skills
00:31:02.300 in my personal
00:31:03.440 observations and opinion
00:31:04.840 because we should
00:31:06.160 be connecting these dots.
00:31:07.280 I've been screaming
00:31:07.880 from the rooftop
00:31:08.560 for many years
00:31:09.820 on the national news
00:31:10.760 and in Congress
00:31:11.460 about this,
00:31:12.460 supporting families
00:31:13.380 that have buried
00:31:14.900 their loved ones
00:31:15.660 and it's all this
00:31:16.780 giant strategic plan
00:31:18.180 against our country
00:31:19.000 and we're still
00:31:19.820 looking at it in silos.
00:31:21.400 And we also
00:31:21.940 were the ones,
00:31:22.920 Roger,
00:31:24.040 that infiltrated
00:31:25.120 Hezbollah's
00:31:26.380 global drug traffic
00:31:27.900 and money laundering
00:31:28.600 operations
00:31:29.080 with the Mexican cartels
00:31:30.300 many years ago.
00:31:31.200 We also were the ones
00:31:32.460 from my old operation
00:31:33.580 that indicted Maduro
00:31:35.180 and all of these
00:31:36.660 other characters
00:31:37.740 that were operating
00:31:38.680 with the cartel
00:31:39.960 De La Salle
00:31:40.620 in Venezuela.
00:31:41.620 So it's a giant mess.
00:31:43.660 China,
00:31:44.320 Russia,
00:31:45.200 Iran
00:31:45.740 engaging with
00:31:47.260 criminal activity
00:31:48.460 to fund their operations.
00:31:50.300 It's not just drugs,
00:31:51.640 human smuggling,
00:31:52.960 you know,
00:31:53.180 weapons trafficking
00:31:54.060 and a lot of other
00:31:55.220 nefarious criminal activities,
00:31:57.160 but it's all
00:31:58.080 so they can pay
00:31:58.900 for their radical agendas
00:32:00.380 to destroy our country.
00:32:01.780 But we're not
00:32:02.480 doing a good job.
00:32:03.300 There's too many silos,
00:32:05.140 Roger,
00:32:05.500 as you know,
00:32:06.320 I'm sure you know,
00:32:07.740 what's going on with it.
00:32:09.360 You know,
00:32:09.540 we're doing a lot better
00:32:10.400 under President Trump
00:32:11.460 with this whole
00:32:12.340 government approach,
00:32:13.320 the Homeland Security
00:32:14.040 Task Forces.
00:32:15.100 But people have to be
00:32:16.040 held accountable
00:32:16.820 when they're not sharing
00:32:17.960 the critical information
00:32:19.620 that's needed
00:32:20.380 to connect all these dots
00:32:22.020 together
00:32:22.480 on these very,
00:32:23.740 you know,
00:32:24.460 very serious adversaries.
00:32:26.240 And so,
00:32:27.000 thank you for understanding
00:32:28.260 that very complex
00:32:29.740 set of points.
00:32:31.320 Yeah,
00:32:32.260 look,
00:32:32.780 here at home,
00:32:33.320 we've had Americans 0.97
00:32:34.020 dying at record levels
00:32:35.380 from Chinese poisonings
00:32:36.760 trafficked here
00:32:38.100 by Mexican cartels
00:32:39.660 as well as other
00:32:40.540 cartels
00:32:41.880 in the Caribbean.
00:32:43.340 The change of government
00:32:44.640 in Honduras
00:32:45.740 is going to crimp
00:32:47.400 a substantial amount
00:32:48.920 of narcotics trafficking
00:32:50.080 that came from
00:32:51.320 Honduras,
00:32:52.440 never mind
00:32:53.200 the president's
00:32:54.700 brave action
00:32:55.520 in Venezuela.
00:32:56.960 I saw some place,
00:32:57.880 I saw you quoted as saying
00:32:59.060 that this crisis in America
00:33:01.120 is not a red crisis
00:33:02.360 or a blue crisis,
00:33:03.480 but a red,
00:33:04.520 white,
00:33:04.840 and blue problem.
00:33:05.860 I could not have
00:33:06.440 agreed with that more.
00:33:08.260 When we come back,
00:33:10.500 I want to ask you
00:33:11.960 a couple things.
00:33:13.200 One is,
00:33:14.220 what can the average
00:33:15.280 American citizen
00:33:16.400 do in this important fight
00:33:19.020 to end this kind
00:33:21.100 of illegal activity
00:33:22.080 and violence
00:33:22.900 on American soil?
00:33:24.200 I also want to get
00:33:26.420 into the current
00:33:27.740 situation
00:33:28.440 in Puerto Vallarta
00:33:31.080 and exactly
00:33:32.840 what's going on there.
00:33:34.180 If you're just tuning in,
00:33:35.120 we're talking to
00:33:35.960 Derek Maltz.
00:33:37.520 He is the
00:33:38.140 former administrator
00:33:39.960 of the
00:33:40.820 Drug Enforcement
00:33:42.020 Administration
00:33:42.780 under President Donald Trump,
00:33:44.360 and we'll be right back
00:33:45.780 with more of Derek Maltz
00:33:47.200 on the other side.
00:33:48.580 You're listening to
00:33:49.140 The Stone Zone
00:33:49.860 on the red
00:33:50.500 Apple audio networks.
00:33:52.300 Whatever you do,
00:33:52.960 don't touch that dial
00:33:54.200 or leave us online
00:33:55.300 because we'll be
00:33:56.620 right back.
00:33:57.840 This is The Stone Zone
00:33:59.620 with Roger Stone.
00:34:01.260 That is a great,
00:34:02.240 great person,
00:34:03.440 Roger Stone.
00:34:05.240 The Stone Zone.
00:34:22.960 This is The Stone Zone.
00:34:30.140 Now,
00:34:30.900 get him a zone.
00:34:32.060 It's The Stone Zone.
00:34:34.080 A man who's gone
00:34:34.980 through hell,
00:34:36.060 but he's kept going
00:34:37.800 and he's smart
00:34:38.760 and he's strong
00:34:39.760 and people love him.
00:34:41.140 Not everybody,
00:34:42.000 but people love him
00:34:42.820 and respect him.
00:34:43.580 Roger Stone.
00:34:44.640 Where's Roger Stone?
00:34:45.880 Here's Roger Stone.
00:34:48.640 Folks,
00:34:49.380 if you're just tuning in,
00:34:50.600 we're talking to Derek Maltz,
00:34:52.600 who served previously
00:34:55.440 as President Trump's
00:34:56.440 acting administrator
00:34:58.260 for the Drug Enforcement
00:34:59.780 Administration.
00:35:00.520 He brings 30 years
00:35:02.180 of service
00:35:02.840 in law enforcement,
00:35:04.360 national security,
00:35:05.300 and international strategy.
00:35:06.760 We're honored
00:35:07.740 to have him today
00:35:08.760 in The Stone Zone.
00:35:10.740 Derek,
00:35:11.220 what is the situation
00:35:12.340 in Puerto Vallarta today?
00:35:14.680 What's going on there?
00:35:15.520 Well,
00:35:16.940 look,
00:35:17.780 obviously,
00:35:18.740 there was complete chaos
00:35:20.380 yesterday,
00:35:21.680 most of the day.
00:35:23.120 There were people
00:35:24.160 panicking.
00:35:25.240 There was gun battles
00:35:26.200 in the streets.
00:35:27.040 There was buses,
00:35:27.940 cars,
00:35:29.080 and actually buildings
00:35:30.740 that were put on fire.
00:35:32.480 It was actually
00:35:33.080 like a war zone.
00:35:33.980 It looked like Afghanistan
00:35:34.980 or Iraq,
00:35:35.900 honestly, right?
00:35:37.780 And there was blockades,
00:35:39.620 not just in that area,
00:35:41.240 but up to like,
00:35:42.440 I was told,
00:35:43.200 about 20 states
00:35:44.160 in Mexico,
00:35:45.240 where they had,
00:35:45.800 you know,
00:35:46.100 road blockades.
00:35:47.560 And so,
00:35:48.180 very, very dangerous.
00:35:49.440 You know,
00:35:49.640 we all watched
00:35:50.400 social media videos
00:35:51.840 where people were
00:35:52.560 running on a tarmac
00:35:53.660 as flights were being
00:35:55.080 canceled in the airport.
00:35:57.060 So,
00:35:57.680 it was very,
00:35:58.680 very chaotic,
00:36:00.340 and I think
00:36:01.060 the cartels
00:36:02.240 were retaliating
00:36:03.260 and trying to intimidate 0.84
00:36:04.460 the world
00:36:05.660 on how tough they are.
00:36:07.280 But they are terrorists,
00:36:08.540 right?
00:36:08.760 We have to remember
00:36:09.400 they're terrorists. 0.64
00:36:10.540 And so,
00:36:11.160 hopefully,
00:36:12.200 some of that
00:36:12.840 settled down today.
00:36:14.160 I've been pretty busy,
00:36:15.480 so I haven't checked
00:36:16.140 some things.
00:36:16.880 I got to call
00:36:17.540 some people tonight.
00:36:18.960 But hopefully,
00:36:20.000 our citizens
00:36:20.600 from America
00:36:21.360 and Mexican,
00:36:23.160 you know,
00:36:23.480 citizens are safe
00:36:24.560 or,
00:36:25.520 you know,
00:36:27.220 watching their backs,
00:36:28.680 you know,
00:36:28.920 because it's very dangerous.
00:36:30.760 What will now happen
00:36:31.860 to the new generation
00:36:33.560 Jalisco cartel?
00:36:35.060 In other words,
00:36:35.900 this is an international cartel.
00:36:37.680 They were spreading
00:36:38.640 their poison,
00:36:39.280 not just in the United States,
00:36:40.500 but in multiple countries.
00:36:41.860 Will they continue
00:36:44.040 as a force
00:36:44.960 or will the vacuum
00:36:46.380 be filled
00:36:46.960 by other dangerous cartels?
00:36:49.380 Well,
00:36:49.660 they will certainly try
00:36:50.820 to continue
00:36:51.460 as a powerful force.
00:36:52.840 And as we speak,
00:36:53.800 I'm sure they're
00:36:54.520 looking at leadership changes
00:36:56.780 and who's going to rise
00:36:58.340 to the top.
00:36:58.920 But unfortunately,
00:37:00.060 that's going to require,
00:37:01.340 you know,
00:37:02.420 a lot of gun battles
00:37:04.120 and they're going to be
00:37:05.280 fighting with their adversaries.
00:37:06.740 They're trying to compete
00:37:08.200 for the routes,
00:37:09.760 the plazas,
00:37:10.440 to get their drugs
00:37:11.340 into the country
00:37:12.220 and not just into America,
00:37:14.500 but like you said,
00:37:15.260 around the world.
00:37:16.360 So it's going to take some time.
00:37:18.840 I am concerned a little bit
00:37:20.540 on some of the secondary violence
00:37:23.660 that we're going to see
00:37:24.500 after the immediate,
00:37:25.580 you know,
00:37:26.940 you know,
00:37:27.320 shock from the cartel
00:37:28.820 on the death of their leader.
00:37:30.580 So I'm concerned
00:37:31.420 that some violence
00:37:32.620 will continue.
00:37:33.360 But I think it will be
00:37:34.440 handled by the Mexican military
00:37:37.160 and the administration
00:37:38.880 for the most part.
00:37:40.840 I'm pretty,
00:37:42.060 I'm hoping,
00:37:42.880 I'm praying
00:37:43.300 that they can contain it.
00:37:45.240 But it's terrorism, right?
00:37:47.560 This is what terrorists do.
00:37:48.960 They try to terrorize
00:37:50.160 people and communities
00:37:51.800 and countries.
00:37:52.500 So.
00:37:55.060 All right.
00:37:55.860 I'm going to have to end it there.
00:37:57.540 I want to thank our guest,
00:37:58.760 Derek Maltz,
00:37:59.460 a great patriot,
00:38:00.960 a veteran law enforcement officer,
00:38:03.220 a national security expert,
00:38:04.680 and international strategist
00:38:06.760 who has served this country well.
00:38:08.600 Appreciate your breakdown
00:38:09.660 of this incredible
00:38:10.940 breaking situation in Mexico.
00:38:12.940 Derek,
00:38:13.220 thank you so much for joining us.
00:38:14.820 Thank you, Roger.
00:38:15.480 Have a good day.
00:38:16.260 Keep up the good work.
00:38:17.660 Many, many thanks.
00:38:19.280 Here's, folks,
00:38:20.280 one piece of good news
00:38:21.380 I want to pass on,
00:38:22.480 and that is my wife
00:38:23.760 of 29 years
00:38:25.560 went in for her
00:38:26.660 six-month cancer check today.
00:38:29.840 And she is,
00:38:30.820 thank God,
00:38:31.540 now five years cancer-free.
00:38:35.120 Thank you, Jesus.
00:38:36.240 So we'll be celebrating
00:38:37.740 and praying
00:38:38.600 and thanking the Lord
00:38:40.040 for this great news,
00:38:41.780 which came to me

00:39:46.260 in the 90s.
00:39:46.960 Where are we though?
00:39:47.660 Are we in 1995,
00:39:49.060 1997,
00:39:50.260 1999?
