00:00:46.000 Roger Stone.
00:00:47.280 Now, get in the zone.
00:00:49.200 It's the Stone Zone.
00:00:51.240 Here's Roger Stone.
00:00:53.660 And I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone again on this,
00:00:56.760 is it Monday night?
00:00:57.820 It's Monday night, April 20th.
00:00:59.060 I know it's April 20th, but I didn't know.
00:01:01.500 It's been a long weekend, folks.
00:01:03.680 I want to tell you, there's a bunch of breaking news stories.
00:01:06.180 I know you heard just some of them on many of the stations, but I want to get to them,
00:01:09.780 and I'm going to give them to you in descending order.
00:01:13.820 In other words, I'm going to give you what I think is really the top breaking news story right now,
00:01:17.100 the biggest story, and then go down the list.
00:01:19.160 And that means that the order that I'm giving to you is very deliberate on my part,
00:01:23.320 and i'll explain why maybe the story you think is tops is not really tops but honestly the top
00:01:29.700 story and it should be the top story almost every day in america until this war with iran is really
00:01:35.680 over not just a ceasefire is that we have just the united states just yesterday and now we're
00:01:43.120 still sifting through it attacked and boarded an iranian ship that was trying to break the u.s
00:01:48.880 blockade and sure enough on that ship they found all kinds of chemicals that can be used to propel
00:01:54.940 ballistic missiles and the ship came and those materials came from china i don't know how many
00:02:06.580 people in america who actually somewhat follow the news somewhat politically aware how what
00:02:13.720 percentage of them still think that the china is not at war with the united states but they are at
00:02:17.880 war with the united states and they have been for some time i would say more than 10 years
00:02:22.640 i would say that mostly for most of those 10 years it's been economic war but economic warfare is
00:02:29.380 still warfare and now they continue to try to help iran in their conflict with the united states
00:02:39.040 a big reason why that f-15 was shot down a couple weeks ago was because of new chinese radar
00:02:44.940 that was given to them. 1.00
00:02:48.380 And this is just another blatant example
00:02:52.160 of what the United States is dealing with
00:02:54.040 in a belligerent country like China.
00:02:57.780 But here's the thing.
00:02:59.240 If you think China really cares about Iran, 0.90
00:03:01.940 believes in Islamism, 0.99
00:03:04.500 I mean, that's ridiculous. 0.99
00:03:06.960 China is very much like the USSR 0.97
00:03:08.800 in its worst years during the Cold War 0.94
00:03:11.200 when it just got involved in foreign countries
00:03:14.880 to create chaos and mayhem. 0.51
00:03:19.500 The Soviet Union never cared about the people of Cuba, 0.87
00:03:23.140 never cared about the Eastern Bloc countries,
00:03:26.160 citizens, people, and citizens is a stretch.
00:03:29.360 You really aren't a citizen in a communist dictatorship.
00:03:31.720 You're just kind of a piece of flesh, basically. 0.93
00:03:37.480 China is helping Iran because Iran's a good chaos maker. 0.99
00:03:41.720 And they've been a big supporter of them. 0.98
00:03:43.240 And yes, they get oil from Iran.
00:03:45.700 And they like that, but they can still get oil from Iran if there's a new regime there.
00:03:51.940 It's just going to be a little bit harder, I guess, because there'll be some sanctions involved that they'll have to deal with.
00:03:56.600 But the point is, China's not really interested in Iran for any humanitarian or ideological reason. 0.98
00:04:03.160 They just want to cause havoc. 0.84
00:04:04.340 They think the United States should be harassed.
00:04:08.820 I don't know if we're ever going to get to the bottom of the greatest act of war China may have committed against the United States,
00:04:14.620 which was the covid the covid virus deliberately spreading it not only to the united states but 0.86
00:04:20.800 pretty much all over the world and to me the evidence of that is based on objective facts
00:04:27.600 they stopped people from within that wuhan province from traveling to the rest of china
00:04:32.680 because they wanted to they wanted to keep it in the wuhan problem but they allowed them to travel
00:04:36.020 all over the world i mean what does that tell us there's more to it of course but to me this is
00:04:42.800 still the top story, the fact that the blockade's still in effect. Now, my Iran story is based on
00:04:47.800 more than just that. The reason why I think it's a top story is based on more than just that.
00:04:51.220 We're also waiting on the edge of our seats to see if we're going to have these peace talks
00:04:55.520 round two in Pakistan. Gun to my head, I'd say that these talks will happen, even though the
00:05:01.760 Iranians are not so sure they're going to show up, even though President Trump says he may just end
00:05:07.020 the ceasefire on Wednesday no matter what happens. But I think that something will happen because,
00:05:12.160 again, we heard a lot of the same kinds of denials from Iran before the first round of
00:05:16.540 talks and they did show up. So we'll see. But that's an important issue. And I think another
00:05:23.620 reason why it really is breaking news and still our top story is because let's get back to the
00:05:28.840 economic aspect of it. I now believe quite thoroughly that this Iran war and everything
00:05:34.260 surrounded has finally flummoxed Wall Street. Wall Street, in my opinion, absolutely surrendered 0.92
00:05:39.840 and admitted today that they don't know what the heck's happening.
00:05:43.960 Which is okay.
00:05:45.360 A lot of us don't know what the heck is happening,
00:05:47.040 at least what's going to happen next.
00:05:48.520 I don't know if anyone could bet on that.
00:05:50.600 And the reason why I say that is you had about as flat a close on Wall Street
00:05:54.920 as you're ever going to see.
00:05:56.600 The Dow closed down 4.87 points.
00:06:00.600 That's it.
00:06:01.920 It's almost just a flat zero.
00:06:05.100 And the S&P 500, they were down a little bit more, a quarter of 1%,
00:06:08.680 also a quarter, one point cent down for the Nasdaq.
00:06:11.060 That's as flat a close as you're ever going to see.
00:06:13.240 And when Wall Street closes flat, that means it's keeping its powder dry.
00:06:17.480 It really doesn't know which way the wind's going to blow.
00:06:19.680 And not enough people are willing to make a bet one way or the other.
00:06:22.800 In other words, it's basically saying, I don't know.
00:06:25.200 I'm waiting for more data.
00:06:26.720 Wall Street rarely does that. 1.00
00:06:28.620 These are smart guys and gals.
00:06:29.880 They usually have a pretty good angle on something.
00:06:31.580 They're sometimes wrong on that angle, but they usually have a pretty good angle on it.
00:06:35.880 and they feel confident enough to put actual money on what they think is going to happen next.
00:06:40.360 Not today.
00:06:42.360 And I don't think you can blame them.
00:06:44.200 It's been going back and forth.
00:06:45.280 The straight reform was open on Friday.
00:06:47.180 Then it was closed again.
00:06:48.700 Are we going to have talks?
00:06:50.000 Is Trump going to end the ceasefire?
00:06:52.420 What's this thing going on with China and the blockade?
00:06:54.880 I mean, it's a lot of questions.
00:06:56.960 And Wall Street, I think, threw in the towel today.
00:06:58.780 It doesn't mean they're going to have that towel thrown in for long.
00:07:01.580 They might make a bet in one real strong, clear way tomorrow.
00:07:05.880 But for now, they don't know.
00:07:08.680 And when you get these masters of the universe types on Wall Street throwing up their hands and saying, I don't know what's next, you should take notice of that because they don't always do that.
00:07:18.520 And I think that that's a very big deal.
00:07:19.880 So that's why that's the top story.
00:07:22.480 Now, I think the second top story is that Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple for all these years, 15 years, is going to step down.
00:07:32.500 He stepped down in September, but he announced it today.
00:07:34.800 There was really no specific hint that this was going to happen today.
00:07:40.120 In November, we started to see articles in the Wall Street Journal about the leaders to potentially replace Tim Cook,
00:07:50.220 not based on anything he had said about when he was going to step down, but just because he had his 65th birthday,
00:07:55.040 and that's typically a time when CEOs step down.
00:07:57.540 Sure enough, the Wall Street Journal was kind of right on that because the first person that they named
00:08:01.140 as the most likely person to take over for Tim Cook, sure enough, that's the person that they chose.
00:08:09.260 A guy named John Ternus, he's 50 years old.
00:08:12.060 He might be 51 now because it's been a few months since that article was first written.
00:08:16.040 He has been named as a successor.
00:08:17.600 And again, this is all going to happen in September.
00:08:20.500 Now, why do I think this is the second biggest story of the night?
00:08:22.900 Well, it's because Apple for so long was absolutely the most valuable company in the world.
00:08:29.940 It's still pretty darn close.
00:08:32.020 And I also think it's really important because it's, I mean, in addition to being such a trendsetter and so many of us have some Apple technology in our pockets right now or in our home.
00:08:41.840 But it's an amazing story because Tim Cook didn't have an easy job, right?
00:08:46.420 He took over from Steve Jobs, the late Steve Jobs.
00:08:49.540 Not an easy pair of shoes to fill at all.
00:08:55.880 And I don't know of anyone, whether you hate Apple, whether you hated or loved Steve Jobs,
00:09:01.380 I don't know if anyone can possibly deny the fact that he absolutely exceeded any expectations.
00:09:08.800 He's a guy who's famous for working around the clock.
00:09:11.740 He answers emails, apparently, at all hours of the day and night.
00:09:14.900 And he kept that company way, way atop the mountaintop for a long time.
00:09:20.040 And it's not because Apple has declined that it's no longer the most valuable company anymore.
00:09:23.740 It's just because AI has become such a thing and NVIDIA has come out of nowhere to become the biggest company by market share, the value in the stock market.
00:09:32.040 But still, very big deal that he's stepping down.
00:09:34.140 This is someone, in my opinion, almost very close, almost as important as Steve Jobs departing the company or Steve Jobs passing away.
00:09:42.000 because Tim Cook had a tremendous amount of pressure on him
00:09:45.940 to keep that momentum that Jobs had created for so long.
00:09:49.840 And he did it and then some, as far as money was concerned.
00:09:53.520 And Apple is still very, very dominant technology-wise.
00:09:56.560 I know it doesn't seem as cool and as hip as it did maybe 10 years ago,
00:10:00.320 but there's still not a lot of people who have smartphones in America
00:10:05.360 that aren't with an iPhone.
00:10:08.100 I mean, I know the Galaxy is popular and stuff like that,
00:10:11.060 But honestly, the iPhone is still dominant, and that's a long time for a big tech item.
00:10:15.280 Think how long did the dominant PC companies in the world, for example, how long did they stay atop the mountain time?
00:10:22.420 Not long. Same thing with laptop.
00:10:23.920 I mean, the shelf life on the iPhone as being the dominant smartphone in this country and many others is really long by big tech standards.
00:10:33.280 So you have to be impressed by that. So I think that's a huge story.
00:10:35.420 Now, only in third place, only getting the bronze medal for me is this story about the labor secretary, Lori Chavez de Remmer, stepping down.
00:10:44.060 Now, why she's resigning?
00:10:45.340 Now, why am I only putting that as a number three thing when everyone else says that's the big story of the night?
00:10:49.000 Well, first of all, let's not ignore the elephant in the room.
00:10:53.920 Does anyone really care who the labor secretary is?
00:10:56.460 I mean, honestly, please be honest.
00:10:59.020 Of course you don't.
00:11:01.080 Are the things that she's accused of doing serious? 0.99
00:11:03.240 I guess, yeah, I think she, it sounds like she was an incredible dumbass, doing all kinds of stuff in her office, fooling around, allegedly, with a security guard, the husband coming in and doing all kinds of nasty stuff. 0.77
00:11:16.200 I mean, honestly, I'm not shedding a tear for this woman, and I don't think anybody else is, which is, again, why it deserves only third place on my list of big stories tonight. 0.97
00:11:24.820 It's just not a big story.
00:11:28.140 But you do have to report it.
00:11:30.060 I'm not saying we don't report it.
00:11:30.960 I'm just saying, you know, whatever.
00:11:31.940 There'll be somebody else who will take over, and no one will notice, and no one will care.
00:11:36.420 And if they say they care, and they're not someone who works at the Department of Labor, or they're not really connected to it very closely in a professional way, then, you know, don't believe them.
00:11:47.320 Let's put it that way.
00:11:48.720 It's as simple as that.
00:11:50.780 A lot of breaking news tonight, though.
00:11:52.880 And, however, all those breaking stories, I actually think, are less important than a story that's going to break tomorrow, and that's out of the state of Virginia.
00:12:01.360 So why is the state of Virginia more important than all those other stories I just said, at least as far as their, as the urgency, sense of urgency thing?
00:12:08.460 I still think that war in Iran is our number one story, enduring for many probably weeks to come.
00:12:13.020 But the new breaking story that everyone needs to pay attention to is coming out of the state of Virginia.
00:12:18.240 And when we come back on The Stone Zone, I'm going to tell you why. Stay with us.

00:13:34.840 A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going, and he's smart, and he's strong, and people love him.
00:13:41.900 Not everybody, but people love him and respect him. Roger Stone. Where's Roger Stone?
00:13:46.640 Here's Roger Stone.
00:13:48.840 And I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone again this evening on this Monday, April 20th.
00:13:53.180 There's a huge, huge vote in the state of Virginia tomorrow.
00:13:57.900 It's officially called a referendum.
00:13:59.440 That's when voters vote on an issue, and it's just a one-issue referendum.
00:14:04.700 It's a yes or no vote.
00:14:06.920 The Democrats want everyone to vote yes for a redistricting, opening up for redistricting the state
00:14:12.880 that will change Virginia from a 6-5 in favor of the Democrats' House delegation
00:14:17.680 to likely a 10-to-1 stack for the Democrats' advantage in the House if this goes through.
00:14:25.200 Now, I do want to say one thing.
00:14:28.160 No matter what happens in the referendum, the courts could nullify a yes vote
00:14:32.200 because of some shenanigans that were used to get this referendum in front of the voters in the first place.
00:14:38.640 But that aside, you're going to hear a lot of people.
00:14:41.760 Former President Obama, for example, been really pounding the table for people to vote yes on this.
00:14:46.560 He really wants to see this railroaded through.
00:14:48.820 You've heard a lot of people correctly talking about how the new governor, Abigail Spanberger,
00:14:53.520 specifically promised not to push redistricting when she was running for governor last year.
00:14:58.620 And, of course, this is one of the first things she's done.
00:15:00.380 She was just sworn in in January, and she clearly not only broke that promise,
00:15:04.200 but always meant to because she did it so quickly.
00:15:07.900 And you're also going to hear something else, and this is something I want to dig into here.
00:15:11.840 You'll hear something about how, like, well, if the Republicans,
00:15:15.140 if conservatives, if common sense people can just show up to vote, they can avoid this.
00:15:19.700 And it's all your fault if you don't show up to vote and on and on down the line.
00:15:23.020 Well, there's a lot of truth to that.
00:15:24.280 Yes.
00:15:24.940 If you're listening in the state of Virginia or if you have a family member in Virginia
00:15:28.380 or a friend, you might want to call them and tell them to vote no on this thing.
00:15:32.840 Absolutely.
00:15:33.400 I'm down with that and I get it.
00:15:35.420 But I'm also down with not ignoring the fact that this is a stacked deck.
00:15:40.460 These kinds of elections are stacked.
00:15:42.800 This is another form of voter suppression.
00:15:45.140 These elections in the middle of nowhere, coming out of nowhere, with not a tremendous amount of time for people to really consider the issue, regular workday in the middle of the week, these kinds of things.
00:16:00.060 As even Nate Silver admitted years ago, these kinds of elections on Tuesdays, off year, everything is a form of voter suppression of regular working people in America.
00:16:11.180 And it is a huge advantage to Democratic operatives, unions who not only give their members a day off to go vote, but pay them, sometimes with our tax money, to go get out the vote.
00:16:23.480 It's a form of voter suppression of Republicans.
00:16:26.900 You hear the Democrats talking all the time, voter suppression, voter suppression.
00:16:30.060 Putting an election that's this important in the middle of the week without months and months of prep time like you get for a presidential election or a governor's race is a form of voter suppression.
00:16:41.140 So, yes, we want people to participate.
00:16:44.920 But before you demonize someone who may not be able to or hasn't paid attention, understand that was the whole point.
00:16:51.620 They created something that does come under the radar for a lot of people.
00:16:55.280 You know, we just had all these elections and people think again. Virginia just had two straight years of big elections, a presidential race in 2024, their governor's race and their race for lieutenant governor and attorney general last.
00:17:07.920 Now there's another. I mean, it's enough. A lot of people get sick of it. And that's the point. That's why they do this.
00:17:13.840 And I'm sick of it. I'm sick of this kind of important stuff.
00:17:18.500 You know there's not going to be as big a turnout in Virginia as there was for the governor's race or for the presidential election.
00:17:24.040 But this arguably is a lot more important than either one of those.
00:17:30.540 Now, everyone is expecting the vote to be close, but, you know, we've heard that before.
00:17:34.400 A lot of people thought the governor's race was going to be close last year.
00:17:37.400 Spanberger won pretty clearly. Same thing with the lieutenant governor's race.
00:17:40.880 Same thing with the attorney general's race, even though the guy who won was the one who basically talked about killing people and being in favor of shooting folks.
00:17:48.840 He won anyway.
00:17:50.260 So it's possible they've got this thing all stacked, the stacked deck in Virginia anyway somehow.
00:17:55.740 But it's a very big story.
00:17:57.200 I mean, the Republican majority in the House is in such danger as it is to redistrict a state of Virginia, which is a very, very purple state.
00:18:07.320 I know it's gone in presidential elections lately for the Democrats.
00:18:10.340 but it usually goes back and forth for the governor's mansion right it was a republican
00:18:15.380 last time now they have this democrat you can't be a governor in virginia to consecutive terms so
00:18:21.960 there is very often it's very rare that the same party holds on to the governor's mansion by the
00:18:26.300 way so it's it's a purple state this is not a state where there should be this kind of
00:18:32.920 of an issue uh where they're going to make it 10 to 1 in favor the democrats but it's possible
00:18:37.720 because of this kind of voter suppression.
00:18:40.700 It's really wrong.
00:18:42.280 Call your friends at Virginia.
00:18:43.380 Tell them to vote no.
00:18:44.800 When I come back, I'm going to hit Alan Dershowitz
00:18:46.960 with a little bit of common sense that I think he's been ignoring.
00:18:51.240 We'll be right back.

00:19:21.140 this is the stone zone now get in the zone it's the stone zone a man who's gone through hell
00:19:41.700 but he's kept going and he's smart and he's strong and people love him not everybody but
00:19:48.060 People love him and respect him.
00:19:49.540 Roger Stone.
00:19:50.600 Where's Roger Stone?
00:19:51.860 Here's Roger Stone.
00:19:55.560 Help me!
00:19:56.860 Here I am, Rebben.
00:19:58.700 I have a message for you from Vincent Ludwig.
00:20:02.440 I'm sorry, I can't hear you.
00:20:07.600 Don't fire the gun while you're talking. 0.99
00:20:10.440 That's the great Leslie Nielsen from The Naked Gun.
00:20:14.000 I have a message for you.
00:20:14.940 Don't fire the gun while you're talking.
00:20:17.260 That was a live look-in at the peace talks between Iran and the United States.
00:20:22.660 I don't know who's firing the gun and who's saying, I can't hear you.
00:20:25.180 Don't fire the gun when you're talking.
00:20:26.320 Because both seem to be making it clear that it's just not possible to make peace with a radical regime like that.
00:20:34.800 I just don't know what kind of agreement we can possibly expect to get from Iran.
00:20:40.520 But we'll see what happens. 1.00
00:20:42.080 Again, gun to my head.
00:20:43.240 I would say there probably will be some talks this week in Pakistan, even though it seems pretty shaky right now.
00:20:51.300 But it's definitely not definite.
00:20:54.000 I don't really know if we're going to get these talks off the ground, but I guess it'll happen.
00:20:58.480 Again, that's my guess.
00:21:00.840 Alan Dershowitz, making news just in the last couple of hours with an editorial in the Wall Street Journal.
00:21:07.260 It'll be in the print edition tomorrow, but it's already up on the online edition,
00:21:10.480 saying that he is now officially registered as a Republican.
00:21:13.720 He is now officially leaving the Democratic Party.
00:21:16.460 You know that for so many years now, Alan Dershowitz has been coming out in favor of a number of policies coming out of the Republican Party,
00:21:25.340 most specifically a lot of Trump's policies regarding Israel, regarding the efforts of the Trump administration in both his first term and now this term to protect Jewish students on campus.
00:21:35.860 and Dershowitz always likes to say,
00:21:37.900 I'm still a Democrat, I'm still a liberal,
00:21:39.540 but I have to acknowledge X, Y, and Z.
00:21:41.260 Well, now he won't be able to say that anymore.
00:21:43.940 He is no longer a Democrat.
00:21:47.060 And, you know, I guess a lot of people will cheer this.
00:21:50.420 There's a lot of people who don't like Alan Dershowitz.
00:21:54.620 For whatever reason, most of them on the left,
00:21:57.860 Alan Dershowitz's enemies,
00:21:58.840 even though he still claims he's a liberal ideologically,
00:22:02.220 most of his enemies are on the left
00:22:03.740 and have been for quite some time now
00:22:05.460 because any connection to President Trump, any support for him is responded to by the far left with incredible vitriol.
00:22:16.940 There's never any forgiveness for that.
00:22:20.920 Some of that's happening to John Fetterman now, and he's not even going anywhere near as close as Alan Dershowitz has to praising President Trump, but he's getting it too.
00:22:28.200 but as i read the editorial in we get to maybe even the second paragraph or the third paragraph
00:22:34.480 there's still something that's really bothering me about it and it's the fact that you have this
00:22:39.840 incredibly intelligent man in alan dershowitz and i've met him in person and he's a guest all the
00:22:44.460 time on a lot of these talk shows and on a lot of the stations that you hear uh you're hearing this
00:22:49.420 program on now and anyone who thinks that he's lost his fastball it's just not true he's incredibly
00:22:54.540 sharp person if you don't if you think that he's losing it or slow it's probably because you have
00:23:00.000 a political difference with him and it shows now i have political differences with him
00:23:05.540 on a lot of things but i don't think he's lost his edge
00:23:08.340 but i do think that he has always this isn't a deterioration i think this has always been
00:23:14.560 a blind spot for him and a lot of other people because he talks about like well i still oppose
00:23:19.700 the Republican Party on immigration, abortion, a few other issues. But because the Democratic
00:23:26.540 Party is so virulently anti-Israel right now and that is such a red flag when it comes to a litmus
00:23:31.580 test for morality, I can't stay with the Democratic Party. Here's the thing. And the thing that a lot
00:23:37.500 of people don't understand, probably one of the most misunderstood concepts in the world or things
00:23:44.560 that we see in the world is anti-Semitism.
00:23:48.160 I meet so many people who are on the right side
00:23:51.680 of a lot of issues, and a lot of them
00:23:53.040 are certainly on the right side
00:23:54.480 of being opposed to anti-Semitism,
00:23:56.160 and a lot of them are even victims of anti-Semitism,
00:23:58.640 and they don't understand it.
00:24:01.120 So pay attention now, because you're about to hear
00:24:03.280 probably the only person anywhere in the media
00:24:06.660 or anywhere who's going to tell you
00:24:07.940 really what anti-Semitism is all about.
00:24:10.120 No, it's not about jealousy.
00:24:12.340 No, it's not about religious theological differences.
00:24:15.960 No, it's not because the Jews are another example of the other.
00:24:19.020 That's one of the liberal buzzwords for racism. 0.79
00:24:22.220 It's hatred of the other because, you know, they look different.
00:24:24.660 It's none of those things.
00:24:26.700 It's none of those things.
00:24:29.600 Anti-Semitism is born out of a hatred of civilization, rules, decency, right and wrong.
00:24:38.900 There are two reasons for it.
00:24:40.300 The first reason being, if you really want a world where it's OK to murder, it's OK to rape, it's OK to vandalize, it's OK to steal. 0.97
00:24:48.900 Sadly, it's a pretty good idea to start doing that to the Jews because you will get the least pushback if you do. 0.97
00:24:54.920 If you come out, no matter how absolutely crazy it sounds, and start accusing Jews of everything or start promoting attacks on Jews,
00:25:07.700 You're going to get a huge percentage of the public in any country you live in, sadly. 1.00
00:25:11.840 That's going to be okay with it.
00:25:14.040 And if you want a world where if you are resent, if you resent rules, if you resent civilization for whatever reason, there's no usual logical reason to be so resentful. 0.86
00:25:23.460 But if you're one of those kinds of people who just wants mayhem, violence, no rules, nothing constricting you from anything, anti-Semitism is a good way to start. 0.62
00:25:32.260 Why not? 0.81
00:25:33.300 Let's go. 0.99
00:25:35.060 You start with the Jews and suddenly it's like the movie The Purge. 1.00
00:25:37.600 Suddenly we're willing to accept some level of murder, rape, mayhem, vandalism, and the whole nine yards. 1.00
00:25:43.900 And then it becomes harder to say no when they move on to the next group. 1.00
00:25:49.480 Now, that's one reason why you start with the Jews. 1.00
00:25:52.360 The other reason why is because no matter how good a job the Jews are doing at upholding their own principles and laws, 0.79
00:26:01.160 because I don't think that Jews are genetically better people in any way whatsoever because there's no such thing really as that. 0.97
00:26:07.600 But there's no denying that when it comes to civilization and rules and the whole idea of meritocracy and an eternal morality, Jews brought that concept to the world.
00:26:18.340 Again, for better or for worse, are Jews doing a better job of upholding the morality and meritocracy ideas that they brought to civilization? 0.95
00:26:25.800 I don't know.
00:26:28.180 But there's no denying that they did.
00:26:31.360 And if you don't like meritocracy, which, by the way, a lot of people don't like it throughout history.
00:26:36.680 It's never been accepted.
00:26:37.600 Every civilization at one point or the other has decided to use something other than meritocracy to create a hierarchy, whether it's skin color, birth order, gender, whatever it is.
00:26:50.640 The idea that you're really just going to do your best with obviously some failings to let the people who work the hardest and have the best ability be the ones who totally succeed the most is really very, very distasteful to folks who want to dominate and use their own criteria as they see fit to decide who's in power and who isn't. 0.99
00:27:09.880 here come the jews thousands of years ago saying no there's a right or wrong and you should be 0.95
00:27:17.880 rewarded and punished based on your deeds on earth not by your skin color not by your birth order not 0.99
00:27:22.860 by your gender that's it your good deeds and bad deeds that's how we're going to judge you do you
00:27:27.320 understand how radical and hated that concept is it might sound very logical to you maybe you think
00:27:32.180 that's what you were taught your whole life and i hope and i hope it was but do you understand how
00:27:36.500 most of the world has never come to accept that and very much hates that idea no the dictator
00:27:42.340 wants to have his family be the ones who get the inside track or somebody else wants their
00:27:47.940 religious group to have the inside track no matter whether they uphold the rules or not
00:27:51.740 wait there's rules darn i was hoping to set the rules and change them as i see fit wait those 0.86
00:27:59.280 rules are eternal the certain rights and responsibilities that all humans have no
00:28:04.880 matter who's in charge no matter who has money i don't want to do that i i want to do something
00:28:10.380 else and alan dershowitz is out here saying well you know this anti-semitism is why i have to leave
00:28:16.900 the democratic party here's something that i've learned and i learned it a long time ago as soon
00:28:21.300 as you have a civilization a government an entity like a university a corporation or any entity at
00:28:29.260 all that says we are no longer just going to judge people on their test scores or on their
00:28:34.320 abilities. We've got to do something to change the criteria. So for example, a university like
00:28:39.040 Harvard for many, many years, deciding to admit students, not based on just their scores in school,
00:28:44.760 how well they do on their essay and their ability and their interest in learning,
00:28:48.020 it's going to be, hey, what's their skin color? What's their nationality? In other words,
00:28:53.700 they throwing meritocracy out the window. And I don't have a problem with some changing of the
00:28:58.960 criteria based on someone's effort. Like for example, someone comes from a really, really
00:29:02.520 lousy school and they showed up every day and did really well in their classes, then I can
00:29:08.060 understand, hey, you know, we're going to weight their grade point average a little bit more than
00:29:12.340 their SAT or their ACT. That's a little bit different. Then we're getting into the weeds.
00:29:16.860 But here's what I can tell you very, very honestly. If you ever are part, if you ever see
00:29:21.520 an organization, whether it's a university all the way up to a government, that officially makes 0.97
00:29:25.460 a non-meritocracy policy, basically says, no, like Zora Mamdani, we're going to tax the white
00:29:31.420 people more we're going to give more money to people of a certain skin color not not necessarily
00:29:37.240 based on their income or their effort we're just going to look at their skin color
00:29:40.600 whenever you have an entity like that i can promise you this because i have a 100 track
00:29:46.760 record on this and i've been following it for a long time and well before and i've been following
00:29:50.500 the history whenever you have an organization that throws meritocracy out the window they 0.70
00:29:54.720 will come for the jews soon enough because again whether we uphold it better or worse than anyone 0.83
00:30:01.580 else and i don't really know that we do and i don't think we do in a lot of cases so don't don't 0.91
00:30:05.340 call on the station or email and say oh that guy filling up for roger stone jake notebook said the
00:30:08.980 jews were better i did not say that but for better or for worse we brought this concept to the world
00:30:16.340 and for better for worse even for the jews who don't want to be jewish who don't want to have 0.75
00:30:22.660 anything to do with their religion good luck with that good luck with that everyone from the nazis
00:30:28.000 on down didn't care how jewish the victims were or how much they prayed they they threw them in
00:30:32.620 the gas chambers just the same as a rabbi and the ultimate and the jewish communists who didn't
00:30:37.540 who were anti-religion they they were equal in the end that's the hard lesson 0.85
00:30:42.920 and if you have an organization that's throwing out meritocracy they'll come for the jews soon 0.96
00:30:50.100 enough, which is why I knew these universities long time ago, well before the Hamas stuff 0.75
00:30:54.720 and the anti-Israel stuff, starting with affirmative action.
00:31:00.340 And my biggest problem with affirmative action isn't necessarily even the fact that I do
00:31:03.860 think it's philosophically flawed.
00:31:05.080 I don't like having any organization that throws meritocracy to the wind.
00:31:09.160 My biggest problem with affirmative action is it doesn't work. 0.99
00:31:13.920 Affirmative action's track record, especially at our universities, is to take students who
00:31:17.700 who have been good enough to get into a university of a lower tier,
00:31:21.620 and so taking a kid who otherwise would get into Rutgers and taking him to Harvard.
00:31:24.860 Is that kid going to do better? Yeah, probably.
00:31:27.800 But is that going to change his entire community's trajectory? No.
00:31:33.660 If you want to help people educational-wise, you have to start at K-12.
00:31:37.480 We can have an entire different show about this. 0.87
00:31:41.580 But if you're going to say, oh, well, immigration,
00:31:44.440 Alan Dershowitz still doesn't like the Republican Party's policies in immigration.
00:31:47.700 what is he talking about allowing illegal immigrants to come in the country and just
00:31:52.600 giving them citizenship you think that's good for the jews who do you think these people are
00:31:57.180 who are coming into the country you think they're real pro-israel types huh professor 0.92
00:32:02.080 we've imported massive amounts of anti-semitism and anti-americanism into this country under the
00:32:08.920 biden years i can't believe that he's not seeing the connection here it's not just that the
00:32:14.960 Democratic Party woke up one day and decided they were going to hate Israel and by extension Jews.
00:32:20.040 They've been pursuing policies that are an anathema to what the Jewish essence in the world is all
00:32:25.680 about. This idea that there is an eternal morality. And I believe Christians are about this too,
00:32:32.000 devout Christians as well. So I'm not saying this is just the Jews, but the Jews started it. I mean, 0.85
00:32:35.740 there's no denying the Jews came first. Doesn't mean, again, doesn't mean they're better.
00:32:39.040 They're not better. And I don't believe in race, by the way. I don't believe it's a genetic,
00:32:44.140 scientific thing i think race is a cultural construct skin color is a thing but you know
00:32:52.160 that doesn't always judge things and i don't think that you can take the blood of someone and say
00:32:56.220 this is a race again that could be an entirely different program but if you're involved with
00:33:01.940 an organization that says we're no longer going to at least and no one can do it perfectly we know
00:33:06.460 we're not going to be a perfect meritocracy but if you stop trying good luck to you and if you 1.00
00:33:12.420 stop trying and you make it a policy to not try, good luck to the Jews, because they'll come for 1.00
00:33:16.480 them first. Not just because you can get away with more violence if you start with the Jews, 1.00
00:33:20.420 as I explained a few minutes ago, but because this is what the Jews represent to the world, 1.00
00:33:26.000 an idea that there is a God who doesn't make mistakes and that there's an eternal morality 0.98
00:33:31.520 that you can't change just because your political party or your king or your dictator wants to
00:33:36.380 change what's right or wrong. And Alan Dershowitz should understand that it isn't just an overnight
00:33:42.960 thing with the Democratic Party. It's something that's been there for a long time. As soon as
00:33:46.820 this party became the party of anti-meritocracy, as soon as this party became the party of pro 0.98
00:33:52.100 affirmative action and DEI and all these other programs, he should have known the Jews were in
00:33:58.540 deep trouble. And it doesn't seem like he still gets it. I think he thinks that this is just 0.98
00:34:03.560 about an Israel thing.
00:34:06.560 And that's too bad
00:34:07.500 because he's a really, really smart person,
00:34:09.540 but I'm afraid I'm going to have to put him into yet another,
00:34:12.520 he's just another person
00:34:13.460 in that very, very large group of people
00:34:15.200 who don't really understand anti-Semitism,
00:34:18.500 where it comes from.
00:34:19.900 It actually has nothing to do with the Jews.
00:34:21.840 It has to do with people 1.00
00:34:22.640 who want to destroy civilization
00:34:23.920 and don't want rules. 1.00
00:34:25.960 They're starting with the Jews 0.99
00:34:27.260 because we're the easiest to get away with it 1.00
00:34:29.280 if you kill us and you harm us.
00:34:31.740 but it's not about ideology it's not about religion and there's sure as heck nothing 0.85
00:34:36.560 jews can do to make people stop hating us we can fight back that's the only thing you can do
00:34:43.700 we can fight back better and jews don't fight back well enough outside of israel we certainly don't 0.89
00:34:49.880 but that's another issue alan dershowitz should have seen this for a long time his party 0.83
00:34:54.000 and the liberalism in general has become inherently dangerous to jews and israel is
00:34:59.840 only a very small part of it all right i'll be back with more including a little bit about fraud
00:35:06.020 in america because fraud has become incredibly hard to fathom how huge it is and i thought it
00:35:11.740 was pretty huge at first where do you hear some of the numbers i'll be right back this is the stone
00:35:17.340 zone with roger stone he likes politics and he's a professional at the highest level roger stone
00:35:25.420 This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:35:47.900 Roger Stone, who's a very, very, one of the smartest political minds.
00:35:51.800 Roger Stone was persecuted.
00:35:52.860 People forget he's actually a brilliant, brilliant political analyst.
00:35:56.100 Now, get him a zone. It's the Stone Zone.
00:36:00.020 Here's Roger Stone.
00:36:02.200 And I'm Jake Novak with you again here on the Stone Zone.
00:36:05.200 You know, I don't think I've annoyed the Israel and Jew haters enough, so I want you to listen to this.
00:36:09.160 that's the siren that they play at the beginning of the israeli memorial day they did that a few
00:36:24.700 hours ago as nightfall hit the state of israel they'll do it again tomorrow morning israel time
00:36:29.900 where everything stops when that siren goes off people driving on the highway pull over
00:36:34.280 They stand at attention.
00:36:35.560 You get out of your car.
00:36:37.060 And this is to remember all the Israeli soldiers who have died in wars and in terrorist attacks.
00:36:42.640 Why am I playing that?
00:36:44.360 Again, not to say that Israel's better.
00:36:46.620 It's not what I'm saying.
00:36:48.760 It's to say that I really like that tradition.
00:36:51.360 I would like to see us do that here in the United States, maybe at 12 noon every Memorial Day,
00:36:56.520 so that we understand that Memorial Day isn't just about barbecues, baseball, and shopping at the mall.
00:37:04.280 It should be Memorial Day, and we should do something like this.
00:37:07.400 I would like to see a siren go off all across the country and everybody just stop what they're doing. 1.00
00:37:12.280 You know, we keep getting on these new immigrants, whether they're legal or illegal, for not being patriotic enough and not knowing enough about America and support. 1.00
00:37:19.420 Are we doing enough to actually tell them this? 1.00
00:37:22.000 Tell them what's so great about us?
00:37:23.060 Tell us what's important?
00:37:24.340 I don't know.
00:37:25.060 I really don't.
00:37:26.980 It might be on us, folks.
00:37:28.260 you know this was really hitting home to me during the gulf war where at the height of the
00:37:34.260 war there was one day was nice weather here in manhattan and i walked from one end of the island
00:37:38.160 to the next i had a bunch of errands to do i was just walking a lot and it occurred to me there's
00:37:42.960 not one indication in the biggest city in the united states population wise that we're at war
00:37:48.040 right now not one until end of the day i went to the post office and i saw a little box in the
00:37:53.220 corner they're saying donate your flip phone for the war effort i thought to myself like this is
00:37:57.680 this is outrageous whether you're in for a war against a war to not even acknowledge that so
00:38:02.200 many of our fellow americans are in harm's way is just beyond it's not acceptable it's simply not
00:38:08.220 acceptable also not acceptable is the amount of fraud that's going on in this country
00:38:12.720 here's secretary uh bergham doug bergham explaining to a blue-haired congresswoman
00:38:20.260 de lauro about how much fraud there is in one part of a government listen to this
00:38:24.520 that some components of the Fish and Wildlife Service are proposed for complete elimination.
00:38:31.360 That includes the state and tribal wildlife grants.
00:38:36.840 Is that wrong?
00:38:39.920 There was a review done of the grants on the grant side,
00:38:43.880 and that is an area where there's been substantial review.
00:38:47.420 We found organizations that were receiving grants from Interior
00:38:50.380 where 80% to 100% of the revenue of that NGO was a grant from the federal government.
00:38:58.460 And yet those organizations, we were the sole source of their revenue,
00:39:02.020 but they would have a CEO making $650,000 and four $400,000 lobbyists.
00:39:07.100 Let me just add to that. 0.99
00:39:09.800 Democrats, and that was Rose DeLauro, by the way, from Connecticut. 1.00
00:39:12.780 She's the congresswoman with the blue hair.
00:39:14.440 If you want to have these NGOs and all this funding for your pet projects stay alive and not be cut by Doge or by people like Secretary Burgum, then stop allowing them to get away with this kind of stuff.
00:39:30.700 Clean up your own house, which they're not willing to do.
00:39:33.980 This is just one example.
00:39:34.900 I mean, I hope you heard what Secretary Burgum had to say.
00:39:36.960 They get a million dollars in government funding, and almost all of it goes to the CEO of the NGO, the non-government organization.
00:39:44.900 And there's a dozen like these things that you can find in every state, every department, more than a dozen.
00:39:50.580 You want to have this kind of government largesse?
00:39:54.000 Then clean up your own house.
00:39:56.020 I'm Jake Novak. I was in for Roger Stone this evening.
00:39:58.080 I hope you have the rest of this evening.
00:39:59.720 It's really just great for you.
00:40:01.220 Thank you so much.
