Breaking News from the Virginia Redistricting Implemented by the Supreme Court of Virginia! Roger Stone breaks it all down and explains why this is a good thing. He also explains why we should all be worried about mail-in ballots and why they are not only susceptible to fraud, but are in fact abusive to the integrity of our elections.

00:00:30.980The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:00:44.860I was reading off the results minute by minute as they were coming in from that Virginia redistricting referendum.
00:00:51.040Eventually, by the end of the program, we got the AP call that by a very narrow margin,
00:00:56.280The people in favor, voted in favor of that redistricting, won that referendum.
00:01:01.100Well, the breaking news now is that this evening, a Virginia circuit court, so this is a Virginia state court, has slapped an injunction on the whole process because there is a credible argument against the referendum.
00:01:15.800Not the result, but the way that the referendum was rushed before the voters.
00:01:20.100This is basically, this is a real deal.
00:01:21.880They will not be able to go ahead with redistricting and doing this until the courts have gone through this.
00:01:27.940This will go to the state Supreme Court of Virginia soon enough.
00:01:31.900It's possible that it will be upheld in the end. We'll see.
00:01:35.760But one would hope that the justices on the Supreme Court of the state of Virginia would see what this is, how unjust this is, how crazy this is.
00:01:46.000And we'll stop this because, look, you know, there's nothing wrong with winning and losing an election.
00:01:51.580And there's always going to be some kind of a stack deck, a news event, some campaign that is able to capture the public's attention, sometimes unjustly so.
00:02:00.800Things like that are all part of the game.
00:02:03.080But the stacking of the deck like this with these crazy redistricting is just annoying.
00:02:08.500And by the way, for those of you who have been talking about, well, how can we fix this?
00:02:12.940I've heard some talk radio hosts today talk about maybe letting AI choose the districts so that it's completely unbiased, but AI is programmed by biased humans, and there's already been a lot of examples of AI bias because that's who's programming it in there, so I don't know if that'll work.
00:02:30.780But I do have a solution to this, especially if we hold these people to already what their professional level is, their professional standards are.
00:02:40.400It's very obvious to me who should be in charge of deciding what congressional districts are, where they begin, where they end, etc., etc.
00:02:47.400Because there's one group of people in this country who really know neighborhoods better than anybody else.
00:02:53.660They know where a real neighborhood begins.
00:02:56.240Like I said, they know where they end.
00:02:57.900They know the kind of people who are living in there.
00:02:59.720they kind of know all the income. Realtors. Realtors know what neighborhoods are where
00:03:06.780and all that stuff. And it's really a big part of their business.
00:03:12.380And they would be a great group to go to in every state and decide where congressional districts are.
00:03:17.080I'm really not kidding. They're very good at this. Now, I'm not talking about every realtor
00:03:21.020who just got into the business and is in and out. I'm talking about the top realtors in every state.
00:03:26.100And we know who they are because they're constantly telling us and there's statistics to prove it.
00:03:29.720So absolutely. Absolutely. I would love for that to be the case.
00:03:33.340So that's the breaking news that Virginia things put on hold.
00:03:36.800It may end up going through and it would be incredible.
00:03:39.920It would put Virginia from six to five Democrat to Republican districts to 10 to one Democrat to Republican, which is just outrageous.
00:03:47.000It's just getting so crazy now. And both parties are doing it. I get it.
00:03:51.920It is just so abusive to the election progress process.
00:03:56.200And that's the last thing we need in America is fewer people trusting election integrity.
00:04:01.980And right now, I got a side with the people who are just doubting the integrity of our elections.
00:04:43.680And I learned in fifth grade, I hope you did, that if you don't have a secret ballot, it's not a legitimate election.
00:04:48.800And the examples they used to use to explain this to us in elementary school were the elections that used to take place in the Deep South after Reconstruction.
00:04:58.340You know, they used to have a ballot box for the people who were voting for the Democrat and the ballot box if you were voting for the Republican.
00:05:06.740And your boss would overlook it to see where you dropped that ballot.
00:05:09.740And if you dropped it in the wrong box, you got fired or you got your head beat in.
00:05:13.740And that was all I needed to hear about why we need to have secret ballots and why elections that don't have 100% secret ballots are not legitimate.
00:05:22.240And before you get on me about absentee ballots for our servicemen and women overseas, I got the solution for that, too.
00:05:28.400It's called a secure laptop in a private room where our servicemen and women in forward areas can vote.
00:05:35.920And for those who are actually fighting in a battle in a war right now, casting their ballot is not on the top of their priority.
00:06:21.240So that is your breaking news right now.
00:06:25.360But, you know, to me, the top story in the country, not just because it's very explosive in its details,
00:06:32.080But also because it's another major commentary on where our culture is and where our ethos is now as a society and how mixed up we've become.
00:06:43.480To me, this is absolutely sad beyond words that we have solid evidence now that the Southern Poverty Law Center, which many decades ago played a great role in breaking up the modern KKK, has for a long time become an incredibly dangerous left-wing activist group.
00:07:05.040And that was bad enough, but now we have evidence in the form of wire transfers, in the form of other financial receipts, that the SPLC was funding these far-right groups, including the people who organized the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, including KKK groups, including neo-Nazi groups, simply so they could claim that there was a rise in this kind of white supremacist nonsense in America, so they could be the heroes to supposedly fight it.
00:07:34.780It is such a sickening situation. And before you fall for the mainstream media or the Democrat Party narrative on this, that this is all just trumped up by the DOJ and the Trump administration, etc., etc., I want you to remember what Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche had to say about this yesterday. Listen to this.
00:07:53.240I just want to make sure I understand you're alleging that the Southern Poverty Law Center was paying the leaders of KKK and other groups to continue their operations.
00:08:06.580Is that I'm not alleging it. The grand jury returned an indictment that says that.
00:08:10.060And so what the investigation found, according to the indictment that was returned today, is that they were paying, so Southern Poverty Law Center is raising money, asking folks to give them money to dismantle racism.
00:08:23.400And over a very long period of time, they were using some of the money they raised from donors to pay to they call them field, you know, basically to informants to for information, for access, to just pay them for for certain to do certain things.
00:08:42.300And so, yes, that's exactly what the indictment charges.
00:08:45.380Yeah. And it wasn't just for information and to infiltrate.
00:08:47.460That's what the SPLC is probably going to argue at some point once they get through the whole procedure.
00:08:52.300First, they'll fight this on procedural grounds and say they had no right to investigate us.
00:08:56.960But then they'll eventually have to defend themselves and they'll say, no, we were just paying off informants.
00:09:00.920But the financial evidence proves otherwise.
00:09:03.720They were paying people to help organize and commit hate acts.
00:09:10.760Now, beyond the obvious outrage on the surface of this about this, and this really makes me just incredibly sad.
00:09:16.680I know that there's a lot of my fellow conservatives who are happy about this because it exposes the SPLC.
00:09:21.520And I get it. I am glad that the evidence is there. Don't get me wrong. But there's nothing good about this story. This says so many things that are bad about where our country has gone. And it's also told us something else, which is one of the biggest threats to this country, which is we've gone from a country where people aspire to be heroes to a country where people aspire to be victims.
00:09:47.180We've made victimhood now better than being a hero
00:09:52.520So if the SPLC can create more victims
00:10:14.440I mean, this leads to almost a suicidal type of ethos in this country.
00:10:20.120I would rather have a million people pretending to be a hero than a million people trying to make themselves victims any day of the week, because I embrace life.
00:10:28.060And I embrace all those positive things, even if we're stretching a little to call ourselves a hero, fine.
00:10:35.000But to me, that's the core, the most scary thing about all of this.
00:10:38.960not the incredible lengths that this group was willing to go to smear Trump supporters
00:10:43.540and smear millions of Americans no matter how they voted.
00:10:47.580That's ugly enough, and it is very ugly.
00:10:50.160And I do believe that people who fake hate crimes should get a minimum of 10 years in prison for doing that.
00:10:57.640And I do believe that people who organize hate crimes
00:11:00.580and then pretend that they're the victims of them should get life imprisonment.
00:11:06.860So I'm not going away from that type of a thought, but to me the saddest part of this is we have a nation now that believes that victimhood and proving that you're a victim is more important than proving that you're a hero or just a good person.
00:11:22.040That's scary because there's no good ending to that.
00:11:24.660What if everyone's successful at that?
00:13:45.840We're seeing a good number of these IRGC fighters dying and military folks,
00:13:51.180but there's been no significant civilian death in Iran at all of any kind.
00:13:55.620We haven't really heard any reports or numbers,
00:13:57.000And you know they would gin them up if they had something to go with, but they don't.
00:14:01.340And thank God we're still at that number 13, that unlucky number 13 of American servicemen and women who have been killed in this war so far.
00:18:11.120A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going, and he's smart, and he's strong, and people love him.
00:18:18.200Not everybody, but people love him and respect him.
00:18:20.560roger stone where's roger stone here's roger stone and it truly is about to become the stone
00:18:27.460zone again i'm jake novak filling in for roger stone but roger is calling in again for our second
00:18:32.760half hour here and uh roger i have to ask you you know i i really believe that this
00:18:37.320spLC indictment thing is the biggest story for a lot of reasons also i'm giving people the update
00:18:42.880on the redistricting of virginia and the iran war are those your top three as well tonight
00:18:48.460That plus, of course, the historic announcement that President Donald Trump will reschedule marijuana, cannabis, which has enormous implications for those who use cannabis for medicinal purposes, and I think has an enormous appeal to younger voters, libertarian voters, and so on.
00:19:09.380This is a it's been a long time coming. I've been a longtime advocate for actually for de-scheduling.
00:19:15.920I'm a firm believer that cannabis is not nearly as dangerous as alcohol.
00:19:20.940That's for sure. That's always the, you know, the comeback when people talk about the dangers of marijuana.
00:19:27.440But, you know, obviously, a lot of states have already moved in this direction.
00:19:30.600Can you explain to our viewers why the federal scheduling of this rescheduling of it is so important?
00:19:35.460certainly i mean at this point almost 40 states have legalized cannabis most of them for medicinal
00:19:43.000purposes with substantial restrictions uh some for recreational purposes but right now under the
00:19:51.600federal schedule marijuana is uh is on the same level as heroin for example which makes very
00:19:59.180little sense. It's important to recognize that when Richard Nixon launched the war on drugs,
00:20:06.020he was focused on drug kingpins, drug traffickers, major, major narco operators. It was Bill Clinton
00:20:15.200who signed the 1994 crime bill. That was written by Senate Judiciary Chairman Joe Biden that
00:20:23.140decided to target the individual users of of of illegal drugs and actually put in place the
00:20:33.200mandatory sentences for first time nonviolent crime of possessions of, for example, a small
00:20:39.620amount of marijuana. So let's say you have a a single mother of three working, you know, two
00:20:46.860jobs to make ends meet. She's caught with a small amount of marijuana in her purse. A 15 year1.00
00:20:52.580sentence to me seems unreasonable. A judge should be able to see whether she has any priors, see
00:20:58.600what her domestic situation is, and come up with an appropriate sentence if it's legal at all.0.96
00:21:05.060Now, federally, today, possession or moving marijuana across the state line is still a1.00
00:21:11.820federal crime. And it's really time to bring the federal law in line with state laws. So,
00:21:18.380for example, in Florida, medicinal marijuana is legal. Now, you have to go get a state-approved
00:21:25.560card to be able to buy it. You have to submit some health information, and it's limited to
00:21:33.180the treatment of very specific diseases or maladies. I frankly think that list should be
00:21:38.840broadened. So, for example, if you have a lower back pain, you would not be entitled to get
00:21:45.060medicinal marijuana. Who's most opposed to the legalization or the deregulization?
00:21:51.900Well, it's big pharma. You see, they want to get you hooked on Oxycontin or other opioids,
00:21:56.880which are far more dangerous than either alcohol or cannabis.
00:22:01.800You know, I'm glad you mentioned President Nixon. Of course, you are one of the foremost
00:22:04.500experts on his presidency. I urge people, in addition to following some of the things that
00:22:09.380Roger's written about President Nixon and the war on drugs, also read The Fix by Michael Massing,
00:22:13.940because that was a book that came out a few years after that Clinton-Joe Biden shift on drug
00:22:19.800enforcement. And a huge amount of that book was dedicated to explaining how the Nixon anti-drug
00:22:25.100policy, in addition to the big kingpin stuff that you talked about, but the methadone clinics that
00:22:29.720were around the country that were so denigrated, they actually worked, Roger. They worked. And it
00:22:34.220was born out of Richard Nixon's concern for returning Vietnam veterans coming home from the
00:22:39.280war who had gotten hooked on heroin. It was all in the right place. And they did make a good1.00
00:22:43.640difference, didn't they? They really did. That's a terrific book. I have read it. Look, Richard
00:22:48.740Nixon was an amazingly progressive president. He doesn't really get credit for many of his
00:22:53.460key accomplishments. It was Richard Nixon, of course, who ended the war in Vietnam,
00:22:58.320far ahead of the schedule that was preferred by the Pentagon. Richard Nixon, who reached a
00:23:03.820strategic arms limitation agreement with the Russians, which everybody predicted he could
00:23:08.320not do. Richard Nixon, who opened the door to China at a time that China was a dirt poor,
00:23:14.580backwards agrarian society. Most people didn't have indoor plumbing, didn't have toilets.1.00
00:23:20.100Most areas of the country didn't have electricity, certainly the rural areas. It wasn't until
00:23:25.100Bill Clinton gave the Chinese most favored nation trading status. And of course, the Bushes,0.78
00:23:32.280George W. Bush, expanded that. That's what made China the superpower and the dangerous0.98
00:23:37.900enemy that they are today. It was Richard Nixon who desegregated the public schools. When Nixon0.78
00:23:43.660became president, only 22% of public schools across the country had been desegregated. By
00:23:49.860the time he left office, that number was 87%. That's without any violence or bloodshed, but
00:23:55.860very aggressive legal actions by John Mitchell's Department of Justice. It was also Richard Nixon
00:24:03.840who launched the the war on drugs but as i point out the war on drugs was more focused
00:24:09.740on traffickers and kingpins what was richard nixon who of course gave us the environmental
00:24:15.980protection agency now if he were to see how we're over regulating environmentally today
00:24:22.440i think nixon would be rolling in his grave but we have to recognize that there are individuals
00:24:27.320who will despoil the air and the water in order to make money so like theodore roosevelt nixon
00:24:33.660was a conservationist and he gave us the epa for example i've always marveled at those who go on
00:24:41.900and on about the southern strategy you have to recognize in 1968 richard nixon had hubert
00:24:48.460humphrey running to his left and george wallace running to his right he had a perfect uh civil
00:24:54.920rights record nixon is the as the vice president rounded up the final votes necessary for the
00:25:01.620passage of the 1958 Civil Rights Act, which is the first and only major piece of civil rights
00:25:07.640legislation to pass since the Civil War. In the background thwarting that was arch-segregationist
00:25:13.680Lyndon Baines Johnson, who wrote the Southern Manifesto, signed by every Southern senator
00:25:19.600except for Johnson, who was planning a 1960 presidential run. And they needed Republican
00:25:26.540votes in order to pass it. Nixon was lauded by Dr. Martin Luther King for being the engineer
00:25:33.200of the passage of that law. Nixon, of course, also gave us affirmative action. Now,
00:25:37.940many of my conservative friends don't like affirmative action, but it is definitively
00:25:42.320a civil rights program. Nixon, who quadrupled the funding for black colleges, for example.
00:25:49.080So I don't really understand those who criticize Nixon's Southern strategy. Nixon appointed more
00:25:56.460african-americans to federal office than lyndon johnson and john f kennedy combined well i
00:26:02.600understand it they're ignoramuses i mean that's usually the easiest answer but you know in in
00:26:07.220that litany of bullet points that you just rattled off uh so well for us roger boy this sounds
00:26:13.160familiar uh so many of president trump's policies have been really what we would always consider to
00:26:20.240be moderate to to really even a little bit to the left he is and which is why maybe these no kings
00:26:25.920rallies every time people try to interview people there they can't think of any issue because trump's
00:26:30.660kind of stolen the issues uh you know i know there's another book about richard nixon that
00:26:35.260goes into that doug schoen's book the whole book is about how nixon stole some of the some of these
00:26:40.420issues because they were the right thing to do from the left and so in 72 you know there was
00:26:45.180really no strong argument against him other than personality and he you know he wanted a crazy
00:26:49.340landslide yeah it really it is quite extraordinary just yesterday i was in the oval office with the
00:26:55.680president for several hours and at my very last you know the president says what's your agenda
00:27:01.140we went through a number of items and while we were there secretary of state marco rubio joined
00:27:05.960us and i said mr president i have one more request he said what's that i said before the
00:27:10.360end of your term that oil portrait right there franklin roosevelt that needs to come down
00:27:15.120and dick nixon needs to go back in place and uh the president said that's a great idea have you
00:27:21.880seen where nixon's portrait is they've got it here kind of on a back staircase uh then he shouted
00:27:26.920to one of his age i want nixon moved to a better place outside the oval office and he said to his
00:27:32.140very able assistant natalie find out what the inventory is from the national archives of oil
00:27:38.600portraits of richard nixon so sounds to me like nixon may be returning to the oval office here
00:27:43.760shortly now that would be an interesting of course the the left will go crazy about that and turn it
00:27:48.040into that was the best thing trump said you know the lefties will go crazy um but you know there's
00:27:54.000there are so many things like this um we really have we talked about this last night the reinvention
00:27:59.360of the republican party to more of a progressive party i wouldn't say progressive a populist party
00:28:04.880just more of a common sense party this was the problem if you might remember there was a book
00:28:08.520years ago written i forgot who wrote it called what's the matter with kansas and this was this
00:28:12.440democrat liberal argument that boy these people who live in kansas they should be democrats why
00:28:17.980aren't they democrats because you know we our party is the party of the little guy and kansas
00:28:22.640has this that and the other thing and now uh we may we maybe we should write books like what's
00:28:26.900wrong with that what's the matter with california what's the matter with all these states that
00:28:30.580continue to vote for democrats when it's been the republicans both in their state and nationally who
00:28:35.800have done best by them yeah the the the democrats are really out of control i was outraged today to1.00
00:28:42.200watch senator elizabeth warren who's a complete and total phony i mean she's funded by banks and1.00
00:28:48.560big pharma millions of dollars of contributions i remember when she was running for president1.00
00:28:53.740very briefly she made a video where she said i'm gonna go get me a beer please lady i mean that
00:29:00.200was a stretch you know you're you're ivy league educated completely owned by by uh by big pharma0.51
00:29:06.720and the big banks. She's just really, she's a sock puppet. And she attempted to attack Kevin1.00
00:29:13.780Walsh, who is the president's great new nominee to be chairman of the Federal Reserve Board. Now,
00:29:20.360unfortunately, Walsh cannot take office, even if confirmed by the Senate, because Tom Tillis,
00:29:27.640who is staying on the U.S. Senate, Republican of North Carolina, soon to be retiring because he
00:29:34.380knows if he ran again, he would be ignominiously defeated by a MAGA candidate. But Tillis refuses
00:29:41.260to vote for Warsh until Jeanine Pirro, who appeared on these very airwaves for years,
00:29:50.460drops the investigation into Jerome Powell, Jerome Tulate Powell, the current Federal Reserve
00:29:57.520board chairman, who very clearly lied under oath to Congress about the opulent $1.6 billion plan
00:30:06.340to redo the already opulent Federal Reserve headquarters on Constitution Avenue. It's
00:30:13.180already a palace, but Powell under question said, no, there's no private dining room for the
00:30:20.200governors. There's no private elevator for the board governors. There's no roof garden for the
00:30:25.160board governors, those were all material lies. That's not true. We've seen the publicly published
00:30:31.680plan. Now, whether it rises to the level of prosecution, hard to say. I mean, they charged
00:30:38.320me for lying to Congress when no comment I made that was inaccurate was material. In other words,
00:30:45.400in order to violate the False Statements Act, your statement must first be willful,
00:30:50.980And then secondarily, it must be material, which, of course, I did make misstatements in my sworn testimony, but they were neither willful nor were they material, meaning there was no Russian collusion to cover up.
00:31:04.480So what would be my motive to lie? The judge in my case, Judge Amy Berman Jackson, might as well have been an extra prosecutor because she ruled against my prosecution team in every matter, said to me, sentencing, you have been convicted of lying to cover up for Donald Trump, to which I say at this moment, cover up what?
00:31:24.840the russian collusion that didn't exist um you know that i have actually a soundbite
00:31:31.260of uh sarah eisen my former colleague at cnbc you're gonna love this if you haven't heard it
00:31:37.640grilling elizabeth warren today listen to this i did want to ask you senator warren about
00:31:42.160something else that happened last weekend which is you campaigned with graham plattner who is
00:31:46.980i'm ahead of that very pivotal democratic primary and i wanted to ask you about something you said
00:32:41.280I mean, she got nailed on that when she had nothing to say other than he's meeting with people of Maine.
00:32:45.860Big deal. So is the dog catcher. She she is. She's an elitist phony owned by big banks and big pharma.
00:32:53.820And she should stop trying to act like a regular person because there's nothing regular.1.00
00:32:57.400She's a multi multi millionaire Ivy League educated.1.00
00:33:01.880So maybe she should go get her a beer, as they say. I mean, it's just amazing how the if you're against Trump, they'll they'll excuse anything.
00:33:12.060I mean, it's, you know, the level of this insanity has just gotten to the point where it's no longer a joke.
00:33:19.900I mean, some people say, well, this is really funny.0.80
00:33:21.180Isn't it funny that Elizabeth Warren is supporting a guy with a Nazi tattoo who basically says rape victims had it coming and loves the fact that Hamas is killing civilians?
00:33:35.880This seems to me like a tremendous level of – we're in a real danger zone, aren't we?
00:33:43.120We really are, but I also think – I believe that if we're going to expel, for example, Eric Swalwell, who turns out to be a complete and total degenerate from the House, then we must also expel Corey Mills, a Republican from Florida.
00:33:58.400Corey Mills lied about his military service, lied about his efforts to extract people from Afghanistan and Iran, and he lied to the president of the United States.
00:34:12.380He has a restraining order filed against him for beating up one of his girlfriends.
00:34:20.420I mean, this guy is a freak, and we have to have one standard.
00:34:24.140If we're going to expel Eric Swalwell, who was rightfully expelled, plus I think he's getting his style and fashion tips from Steve Bannon at this point.0.78
00:34:34.200But if we're going to expel him, we should also expel one of our own, Corey Mills, who, you know, who turns out to be a weirdo.
00:34:42.660I wrote a very, very long piece on this, which you can find online.
00:34:46.560You know, I think we have to make sure our own house is in order.
00:34:49.660I will tell you this. That is a that is a it's a Republican district, but it's a narrowly Republican district.
00:34:56.660If he is the Republican nominee in that seat, we will lose that seat to the Democrats in an election, which we cannot afford to lose any seats.
00:35:04.980All right, Roger, stick with us. We're just going to take a break and come back with you.
00:35:07.300But again, I want to commend you. I was going to I was going to mention Bannon.
00:35:10.060Now you're talking about Mill. It's it's this is the kind of higher moral stance we have to take.
00:35:14.600We have to call out our own. And you've done that on a number of occasions. I appreciate that.
00:35:17.780One more segment with Roger Stone here on The Stone Zone.
