00:00:00.000 My fellow Americans, if you think you know politics, think again.
00:00:04.980 I'm Michael Cohen, and every week on When You Know You Know,
00:00:07.760 we're pulling back the curtain on power, politics, media, and the people making headlines.
00:00:13.620 On my new WABC radio show, you'll hear conversations from names that you know.
00:00:18.660 People like Jerry Falwell Jr., Anthony Scaramucci, Alan Dershowitz, and many, many more.
00:00:24.760 Maybe, just maybe, we'll even hear from the president.
00:00:28.040 No scripts, no spin, just real conversations with people who were in the room where it happened.
00:00:33.480 And trust me, we've got some very big surprises coming.
00:00:37.080 Look, I've spent years at the center of politics, controversy, and power.
00:00:41.360 I know the players. I know the stories.
00:00:43.540 And now, I'm bringing you inside.
00:00:46.580 When You Know You Know, Sundays at 5 p.m. on WABC Radio.
00:00:51.040 And when you know you know Unleashed, wherever you get your podcasts.
00:00:54.540 Because with me, you never know who's going to show up.
00:01:08.220 This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:01:11.940 People love him and respect him.
00:01:13.420 Roger Stone.
00:01:14.700 Now, get in the zone.
00:01:16.620 It's the Stone Zone.
00:01:18.640 Here's Roger Stone.
00:01:20.180 You are now entering the Stone Zone.
00:01:26.100 I want to start the show by congratulating the Vista New York Volunteer Fire Department
00:01:31.120 on 85 years of continuous service founded in 1941.
00:01:37.560 My grandfather, my uncle, and my father all served as the voluntary chief of the Vista Volunteer Fire Department.
00:01:45.440 My father was so proud of his service that we buried him in his chief's uniform.
00:01:51.740 When my mother passed at age 91, she was the oldest living member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Vista Volunteer Fire Department.
00:02:01.360 So I congratulate you tonight on your tradition, your dedication, your commitment to community since 1941.
00:02:10.180 Meanwhile, Mayor Zoran Mamdami caught some real Italian heat today after releasing a map of the city's ethnic enclaves, including 30 places like Little Palestine, but somehow left out Little Italy.
00:02:25.760 The map, called New York's Immigrant Enclaves, highlighted 30 areas across the five boroughs, ranging from Koreatown in Manhattan, Little Pakistan in Brooklyn, Little Yemen in the Bronx, but somehow left out Little Italy. 0.52
00:02:41.700 Mike Crispy of the Italian American Civil Rights League joins us later to talk about that outrage, but he correctly said this is an attempt to erase Italian American culture. 0.55
00:02:54.380 We'll get back to that a little later in the show. 0.84
00:02:57.720 Meanwhile, President Donald Trump is taking the fight over birthright citizenship back to the Supreme Court.
00:03:04.280 Birthright citizenship is, of course, a ruling by the Supreme Court last week that said that if a child was born on U.S. soil,
00:03:12.600 despite the fact that the parents were not U.S. citizens, they were automatically a U.S. citizen.
00:03:18.880 It is a substantial misreading of the 14th Amendment, and now President Trump has announced that he will ask the high court to rehear it based on new developments.
00:03:30.660 They moved to strike down his executive order, restricting this automatic citizenship for people born in the United States to foreign nationals.
00:03:39.400 The president pointed to reports of hospital billboards near the southern border and in Mexico advertising childbirth packages to foreign nationals.
00:03:50.200 One South Texas hospital reportedly promoted deliveries starting at $3,950 for a natural birth and $5,525 for a C-section, just miles from a U.S.-Mexico border crossing.
00:04:04.180 In a truth post-social, President Trump warned that birthright citizenship is being marketed like a commercial service with American citizenship effectively being sold to anyone willing to pay for delivery inside the United States.
00:04:19.720 Texas Governor Greg Abbott has already called for investigation into the Mission Regional Medical Center that has been doing this advertising.
00:04:28.240 Now, the hospital says the marketing materials are no longer in use and denies facilitating unlawful activity.
00:04:34.900 But the larger problem here remains.
00:04:37.700 American citizenship should be a sacred national inheritance, not a loophole, not a tourist package, and not a business model for hospitals or immigration brokers.
00:04:49.600 These misinterpreted rules have made a mockery of our Constitution and have hastened the demographic demise of our country.
00:04:55.940 President Trump is right for chastising the Supreme Court for getting this wrong.
00:05:00.400 Either America controls the means of citizenship or the open borders lobby turns it into another commodity for sale.
00:05:08.140 President Trump should not stop until there's another hearing and the Supreme Court defends the rule of law against these illegal invaders. 0.72
00:05:15.700 We, I think, were the first on radio last night to report that Maine Democrat Graham Plattner has suspended his U.S. Senate campaign after cascades of scandals became too much for even his own party to turn a blind eye towards. 0.97
00:05:31.700 Plattner, who was once promoted as a left-wing progressive challenger to veteran Republican
00:05:38.120 Senator Susan Collins, faced growing pressure to quit after Politico published an account from his
00:05:44.240 former girlfriend, one Jennifer Racicott, who alleged that he came to her home uninvited and 0.69
00:05:50.300 raped her. After that report, prominent leftist Democrats, including Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth
00:05:56.900 Focahontas Warren and Ro Khanna threw him under the bus completely. Another woman, Lindsay
00:06:03.440 Fiffield, who previously made sexual misconduct allegations against Plattner in the New York Times,
00:06:09.420 has also come forward with additional accusations. Plattner, of course, denies all of these
00:06:14.780 allegations, calling them not real, and says that he and his wife are regular people caught in a
00:06:20.440 political takedown. In a lengthy video, Plattner refused to take any responsibility for his actions
00:06:26.240 and still blaming the corporate, instead blaming the corporate media and political establishment,
00:06:32.020 arguing that the accusations should not be the beginning of a process but the end of it.
00:06:37.120 But the political reality is clear.
00:06:39.060 Democrats who lecture the country about morality, about women's rights, about how all women should be believed,
00:06:45.680 and accountability are now scrambling to replace a candidate they were prepared to elevate.
00:06:50.720 They said that we must believe all women and now have to live up to those words.
00:06:55.060 Plattner insisted he could still beat Susan Collins, but he admitted that the fallout would make his campaign impossible to run.
00:07:01.740 This leaves Maine Democrats scrambling to find a successor under a tight legal deadline, which I believe is by the 27th.
00:07:12.260 Even with Plattner out of the picture, Democrats in Maine will have a tough time in the midterms as the fallout from this scandal will be sure to sully them in November.
00:07:20.480 But Republicans should not take too much solace.
00:07:22.920 If we're going to hold Graham Plattner accountable, then we have to hold Congressman Corey Mills of Florida, a Republican, accountable.
00:07:31.660 There are at least two instances of women accusing him of violence.
00:07:35.960 He has an outstanding warrant of protection issued by a Florida judge.
00:07:41.820 So we must have one standard, not two.
00:07:44.700 Meanwhile, Patriot U.S. Congressman from Tennessee Tim Burchett is demanding transparency in one of Washington's most sensitive unsolved cases.
00:07:55.560 That would be the 2016 killing of Democrat National Committee staffer Seth Rich.
00:08:01.180 Earlier this week, Burchett announced that he had formally asked the FBI Director Cash Patel to release all FBI records related to Seth Rich's desk.
00:08:11.380 his office has said plainly that the American people deserve answers. Now, Rich was only
00:08:16.200 27 years old when he was shot and killed while walking home in Washington, D.C. on the early
00:08:21.400 morning of July 10, 2016. Police called it a botched robbery, but his ring, his watch, his
00:08:29.160 cash, and his credit cards remained untouched, and the case remains unsolved nearly a decade
00:08:35.620 later amongst a bevy of questions that have never come close to being answered. Rich's death became
00:08:41.520 the center of intense public speculation after claims emerged that he may have been connected
00:08:46.780 to the leaked Democrat National Committee emails published by WikiLeaks. It was proven in my trial
00:08:54.760 where the underlying thesis of the indictment against me that I had lied under oath when in
00:09:01.140 fact, no statement or misstatement I made was material because there was no Russian collusion
00:09:06.640 to hide. And even Robert Mueller admitted in his long redacted but finally released final report
00:09:15.100 that he found no evidence whatsoever that I had received any materials from WikiLeaks.
00:09:21.720 Riziz Desh became the center of this speculation. Those claims remain disputed. But what is not
00:09:26.960 disputed now is the FBI's handling of the records and what transpires next. Attorney Ty Clevenger
00:09:34.360 spent years fighting through Freedom of Information Act requests in an attempt to get some semblance
00:09:40.060 of transparency regarding this case. The FBI initially claimed it had no revelant records
00:09:45.920 regarding Seth Rich, but later admitted it had more than 20,000 pages of potentially revelant
00:09:51.540 material, along with Rich's work laptop and an image of his personal laptop. Now, attorney
00:09:58.080 Clevenger says more documents may have surfaced inside a previously concealed FBI room, though
00:10:04.640 this has not been confirmed yet by the Bureau. Congressman Birchett will join us this Sunday on
00:10:10.480 my show. The FBI must release all these documents. It's clear to anyone who's peered into the case of
00:10:16.520 Seth Rich, that he was likely murdered, perhaps as another name on the infamous Clinton kill list.
00:10:24.340 Once again, there is no evidence of an online hack by the Democrat National Committee. That was one
00:10:30.440 of the central pieces of the Russian collusion narrative. This is an important case that we are
00:10:36.760 going to continue to follow. Meanwhile, CNN's newsroom may be bracing for a major impact
00:10:43.540 as Paramount prepares to take over Warner Brothers.
00:10:47.220 Discovery is a $101 billion deal, and the anxiety tells you everything.
00:10:53.280 CNN's chief executive, Mark Thompson, recently told employees
00:10:57.660 he could feel the tension in the room as the network faces its third ownership shakeup in three years.
00:11:04.240 Now, personally, I don't get my news from CNN for the same reason I don't drink out of the toilet.
00:11:09.240 But roughly 4,000 workers across CNN's global operations are waiting to see what the new bosses will do, with layoffs and major consolidation expected.
00:11:20.060 But the real fear inside CNN is not economic. It's political.
00:11:24.680 Staffers worry that Paramount CEO David Ellison may reshape the network, especially after President Trump and his allies openly welcome the new leadership at the left-leaning cable outlet.
00:11:35.300 There may be a housecleaning that's in order, similar to what recently happened with CBS News.
00:11:41.260 For years, CNN helped lead the corporate media's anti-Trump crusade, lecturing Americans about democracy while bleeding viewers and trust.
00:11:50.460 Now, with Paramount also bringing CBS News under the same roof where veteran journalist Barry Weiss and the free press have already rattled the old guard.
00:11:59.840 Some insiders fear Weiss could eventually have influence over CNN and bulldoze the liberal status quo there.
00:12:07.120 Others hope Thompson stays in charge and protects what he calls the network's credibility, means protecting the liberals from true accountability.
00:12:14.960 Because in actuality, CNN has zero credibility remaining.
00:12:19.420 Millions of Americans stopped trusting CNN because they saw bias, double standard, and contempt for conservatives.
00:12:25.260 All I can remember is that their camera was 25 feet outside my front door. That fateful 2019 morning in which 29 heavily armed FBI agents swarmed my home to arrest me for the first time, nonviolent process crime of allegedly lying under oath to Congress, a claim that never made any sense because, well, there was no Russian collusion to lie about.
00:12:50.260 And as Robert Mueller's final report admitted, they found no evidence that I received anything whatsoever from WikiLeaks.
00:12:57.580 I'm Roger Stone. You're listening to The Stone Zone.
00:13:00.320 We're going to be following CNN's developments and we're going to be following the Seth Rich case very closely because both of these, of course, reflect back on the Russian collusion hoax.
00:13:11.860 Meanwhile, we learned today that Special Counsel Jack Smith, in his Arctic Frost investigation, was actually mishandling classified and top-secret information during the investigation.
00:13:25.840 An investigation into what he said was President Donald Trump's misuse and mishandling of classified and top-secret information.
00:13:34.260 Hypocrisy much? We'll be right back in The Stone Zone.
00:13:37.680 This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:13:41.300 He likes politics, and he's a professional at the highest level.
00:13:46.280 Roger Stone.
00:13:47.420 Who is Roger?
00:14:06.600 This is the Stone Zone.
00:14:09.200 Now, get in the zone.
00:14:11.120 It's the Stone Zone.
00:14:12.660 A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going, and he's smart, and he's strong, and people love him.
00:14:20.200 Not everybody, but people love him and respect him.
00:14:22.640 Roger Stone. Where's Roger Stone?
00:14:24.920 Here's Roger Stone.
00:14:28.220 Welcome back into the Stone Zone.
00:14:30.440 Again, Mayor Zoran Mamdami kicked up a firestorm today by releasing a New York City immigrant enclave map, which seems to hit every ethnic group across the city, except for Italians, Irish and Jewish people.
00:14:47.900 Mike Crispy from the Italian American Civil Rights League joins us in just a few minutes to talk about the fact that Italians, Mecca, Little Italy, one of the most important places in the story of Italian immigration, was left off the mayor's map.
00:15:05.740 Meanwhile, across the country, there's a populist backlash that's growing into these Flock license plate reading cameras, and the backlash is no longer theoretical. It can be declared a real thing.
00:15:18.740 in Houston. Now, multiple cameras have been found cut down or knocked down, including near Washington
00:15:24.300 Avenue, Westcott, Memorial Park. The police are investigating, while Flock, the company, condemns
00:15:30.120 the damage as illegal vandalism. That is true. Destroying public equipment is not the answer,
00:15:35.760 nor do we recommend it, but these are the sort of actions that become inevitable when the people's
00:15:40.860 rights are being eviscerated. Flock cameras record license plates, vehicle details, and travel
00:15:47.080 patterns than they store that data in searchable databases used by the police. Many question the
00:15:53.700 constitutionality of this under the Fourth Amendment. Supporters say the technology helps
00:15:58.840 recover stolen cars, locate kidnapping victims, and solve violent crimes. But the cost is a
00:16:05.640 surveillance grid that tracks ordinary Americans who haven't been accused of any crime. In other
00:16:10.980 words, we're being trading our essential liberty for the illusion of safety. This is exactly what
00:16:16.880 the founding fathers warned us against. This is a fight nationwide. In Virginia, a man faces
00:16:22.820 multiple felony charges after allegedly damaging flop cameras. Privacy advocates have donated to
00:16:29.840 his legal defense. In Newport, residents packed a town hall to oppose keeping the cameras in place
00:16:36.260 permanently. In Arlington, Virginia, cameras were spray painted. In Milwaukee, a detective has been
00:16:42.200 charged with allegedly misusing flock data to track people for his personal reasons. This is
00:16:48.360 precisely our concern. Once government and private tech companies collude to build massive surveillance
00:16:54.700 systems, the abuse is not hypothetical. It's just a matter of when and what extent it occurs. We
00:17:01.640 should always support law enforcement and we don't advocate any action against the cameras. That would
00:17:06.740 be illegal. But we also demand constitutional limits, transparency, and warrants where it's
00:17:12.800 appropriate. We need better trained police to stop crimes. We don't know police manpower placed by a
00:17:20.060 surveillance camera system that spies on the American people. We must never excuse, accept any
00:17:27.100 excuse that leads us to embrace Big Brother. So we'll be following this flock camera issue very
00:17:35.040 closely. Once again, coming up on the Stone Zone momentarily, Mayor Zoran Mamdami has really kicked
00:17:43.060 off quite a firestorm in his map, highlighting ethnic areas across the city, such as Koreatown
00:17:49.820 in Manhattan, Little Pakistan in Brooklyn, Little Yemen in the Bronx. But he left out Little Italy,
00:17:57.480 and that brought a stinging rebuke and a lot of activity online.
00:18:03.960 This is not just pertaining to Italian-Americans.
00:18:10.240 It also pertains to a number of the other important ethnic enclaves within New York City.
00:18:17.540 For example, Italians who lived in the Arthur Avenue in the Bronx
00:18:21.280 or Bensonhurst in Brooklyn or Howard Beach in Queens or Southern Staten Island.
00:18:26.900 They're not on the mayor's map. 0.98
00:18:28.800 Then, of course, you have the Irish Americans,
00:18:31.880 who are still very prevalent in Woodlawn Heights in the Bronx, for example,
00:18:37.860 once known as Little Ireland.
00:18:39.540 Western portions of Rockaway Peninsula in the Queens, known as the Irish Riviera.
00:18:44.200 To address all of this, coming up,
00:18:45.820 Mike Crispy joins us from the Italian American Civil Rights League.
00:18:49.220 You're going to want to hear that, so don't go away.
00:18:56.420 this is the stone zone now get in the zone it's the stone zone a man who's gone through hell
00:19:15.980 but he's kept going and he's smart and he's strong and people love him not everybody but
00:19:22.320 People love him and respect him.
00:19:23.820 Roger Stone.
00:19:24.860 Where's Roger Stone?
00:19:26.100 Here's Roger Stone.
00:19:29.940 Welcome back into the Stone Zone.
00:19:32.640 In a story that has kicked up more dust than anything I've seen in some time,
00:19:36.920 Mayor Zoran Mamdami released something he called New York City's Immigrant Enclaves Map.
00:19:45.560 Now, this map included Little Palestine in Manhattan, a Koreatown in Manhattan, Little Pakistan in Brooklyn, Little Yemen in the Bronx.
00:19:57.440 It also included Little Africa, Little Poland.
00:20:02.320 But one community that it did not recognize was the original Little, Little Italy.
00:20:08.560 That brought an immediate rebuke from the Italian American Civil Rights League.
00:20:13.640 And joining us now to discuss it is the chairman of that organization, Mike Crispy.
00:20:19.160 Mike, welcome into the Stone Zone.
00:20:21.620 Roger. Always an honor to be with you, sir. Thank you for having me on.
00:20:25.600 Just reading from this statement that you put out earlier today, which got very wide circulation,
00:20:31.380 you said, Little Italy is sacred ground.
00:20:35.320 It is where Italian immigrants came with nothing, worked hard, opened shops, raised families,
00:20:40.900 built churches, fed the city, and helped New York City be what it is today. As you, I think,
00:20:47.620 correctly said, this isn't about just being left out. This is a purposeful effort to erase the
00:20:54.360 history of the Italian-American community. All you say perfectly, Roger, is that Italian-Americans 1.00
00:21:00.380 have been an instrumental part of New York City since the late 1800s, since the early 1900s. You
00:21:07.940 We built the Empire State Building.
00:21:10.380 We dug the subway system.
00:21:12.460 We have been instrumental in our culture, our cuisine, our entertainment, our art.
00:21:19.400 Everything of the Italian-American culture has been woven into the New York City culture.
00:21:24.960 And when our Italian ancestors came here, they did so wanting to become a part of America.
00:21:31.340 They wanted to contribute to the greater good.
00:21:34.100 They left their homeland.
00:21:35.360 They came to New York City.
00:21:36.680 They embraced American culture.
00:21:38.840 They had American pride.
00:21:40.100 They adopted American customs.
00:21:42.280 And it is a shame that Zoran is doing what he's doing, and he hates Italian-Americans,
00:21:46.580 and he's acting like this because we stand for everything that he is against.
00:21:51.440 That is coming to a place, assimilating, working hard, doing it the right way, not making excuses,
00:21:58.560 not looking for handouts, and contributing and standing on your own two feet.
00:22:02.100 That is the antithesis of what Zoran ran on and what he believes.
00:22:07.220 And that is why, Roger, he very specifically, very deliberately left Little Italy off that map.
00:22:14.140 He's been against the Italians multiple times.
00:22:16.380 This is just yet another example of his treachery.
00:22:19.800 Yeah, I noticed that the well-known writer and blogger Chris Ruffo, who's been in the Stone Zone, 0.99
00:22:26.520 posted a picture of Zorin Mamdami flipping the bird
00:22:32.300 at the statue of Christopher Columbus in New York City,
00:22:36.320 insisting that it be taken down.
00:22:38.720 We've seen this across the country.
00:22:41.740 It is, in my view, a willful effort to erase our culture,
00:22:46.600 erase our history.
00:22:47.640 When I say are, yes, I am half Italian.
00:22:50.820 I'm Italian and Hungarian.
00:22:52.840 I'm Italian from the waist down and proud of it.
00:22:56.520 But this is exactly what is going on here. But it's not just Italians. That's what was interesting. Around 11% of New Yorkers today are Italian-Americans, but over 4 million Italians immigrated to New York City between 1880 and 1920. 0.82
00:23:15.340 Little Italy, of course, is located in Manhattan, but you have other heavily Italian enclaves like Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, Bensonhurst in Brooklyn, Howard Beach in Queens, Southern Staten Island.
00:23:28.760 None of them seem to be listed in the mayor's map, but the neighborhood known as Little Palestine, that's on the map.
00:23:37.180 And then there are the Irish, about 4.4% of New Yorkers New York City residents today, but 2 million Irish people immigrated to the United States between 1851 and 1860 after the Great Potato Famine.
00:23:53.960 And there are still major enclaves of Italian-Americans in Woodlawn Heights in the Bronx, which is once known as Little Ireland, and the western portion of Rockaway Peninsula in Queens, known then as the Irish Riviera.
00:24:07.780 Notice that they're also missing here.
00:24:10.100 So I think there's something larger here at foot.
00:24:13.080 And there's no mention whatsoever of the Jewish neighborhoods in the city. 1.00
00:24:18.140 So this is this is a part of that larger effort to erase us as a people. 1.00
00:24:24.920 Yes, Roger. I mean, you can't you pointed out perfectly are the groups who have contributed to New York City historically are the ones that he's leaving out.
00:24:31.800 And these third worldist groups that he is highlighting in this, you know, enclave immigrant map.
00:24:38.600 You know, nobody's heard of little Palestine. Nobody's heard of little Pakistan.
00:24:42.480 But he points these out and he ignores other groups. And that is very deliberate. 0.65
00:24:47.440 And the Christopher Columbus statue, him flipping off the statue, it's amazing because Italian-Americans take so much abuse for Christopher Columbus.
00:24:56.400 And people are referencing what Christopher Columbus did in the year 1492, saying that he was a savage.
00:25:01.840 Well, a lot of people were savages in 1492.
00:25:04.600 Nobody's arguing the tedious merits of other figures for other holidays.
00:25:09.380 It only seems that Italian-Americans come under fire for Christopher Columbus.
00:25:13.380 The bottom line is that he is a symbol for our heritage, and it is not up to other people to say that he needs to be removed, and Italian-Americans need to comply with the will of Ugandans like Zoran Mandabi, who are telling us what our holidays should be named and should not.
00:25:29.040 If it was any other group other than Italians being told that, it would be dismissed as racist, out of pocket.
00:25:34.720 But Zoran can do that to Italians, and he can, as you pointed out, Roger, ignore Irish people, Jewish people,
00:25:41.380 and other groups that have built New York City, have done all the work, embraced all of the things that have made New York New York.
00:25:49.000 He's dismissing that. He's whitewashing it.
00:25:51.200 I look at his press conferences. I look at his televised events.
00:25:53.920 The people around him, all about different types of groups coming together.
00:25:59.040 but it seems like he excludes specific groups
00:26:02.200 and only has other specific groups,
00:26:04.520 particularly Middle Eastern and African groups around him,
00:26:07.460 and any other group to him is not acceptable.
00:26:10.540 It's the most racist thing of all.
00:26:12.300 Zoran is totally showing who he is whenever he does these things,
00:26:16.400 and it's become such a demonstrable trend.
00:26:19.920 Little Italy is not just a memory or just a tourist stop.
00:26:23.420 It remains a living center of Italian-American culture.
00:26:26.800 The Feast of St. Gennaro still brings generations together.
00:26:29.540 The Italian-American Museum preserves the stories of our families who came here.
00:26:34.760 John Viola's Red Sauce Studios telling American stories through modern media from the heart of Little Italy.
00:26:41.060 Of course, Baby John's favorite cannolis and family businesses on Mulberry Street.
00:26:45.200 These are cultural landmarks, proof that Italian-Americans are still here and still fighting to preserve our heritage. 0.88
00:26:51.940 But it just seems that Mamdami can find room for every other fashionable, progressive constituency, but somehow he can't find room for little Italy. 0.75
00:27:03.860 So I think you were quoted earlier today, Mike, is saying, our culture is good enough for their photo ops. 0.91
00:27:09.900 Our food is good enough for their fundraisers.
00:27:12.300 Our neighborhoods are good enough for tourism dollars.
00:27:14.620 But it comes time to recognizing the contribution of Italian-Americans to this great country. 0.95
00:27:19.780 They are racist. 0.78
00:27:20.320 100 percent and mulberry street to what you're saying roger is still thriving italian american
00:27:27.120 businesses are still there it still is the epicenter of our culture we have our great
00:27:32.280 friend baby john delutro who has been there for 60 years and there are still people who have been
00:27:37.520 there many of which who continue on these traditions the feast of san janeiro one of the
00:27:42.260 greatest traditions in any city in the world is in little italy right there on mulberry street
00:27:48.260 So it is a place unlike any other, and for it to be completely ignored off the map is absolutely horrible.
00:27:56.600 So the Italian American Civil Rights League, which, by the way, folks, you can go to IACRL.org, IACRL.org.
00:28:06.460 It's an all-volunteer nonprofit.
00:28:09.680 There's no overhead.
00:28:11.160 There's nobody making money.
00:28:12.540 Everybody, I'm a member, many of my friends of Italian American Extraction are members.
00:28:18.260 I even have some friends who aren't Italian who are members because they recognize the importance of the Italian experience.
00:28:26.860 But that's IACRL.org if you're more interested.
00:28:31.120 You've called on the mayor to correct the map, to apologize to Italian-Americans, and to include these historic Italian-American neighborhoods in any official city project recognizing immigrant heritage.
00:28:43.260 Mike, I have to ask you the tough question.
00:28:45.060 Do you think the mayor is going to do that?
00:28:46.400 You know, we are going to make the mayor do something because the Italian American Civil Rights League, I'm pleased to announce on the show tonight, is that we are going to hold a rally on Mulberry Street in support of the Italian American community to show the mayor, not just obviously people are talking about it on social media, but to show him in real life in New York City that there are thousands of Italian Americans who demand an answer for what he's doing.
00:29:13.960 So we are going to have a Save Mulberry Street, Save Little Italy rally right there.
00:29:19.660 It's going to be announced very soon.
00:29:21.260 That will be on IACRL.org.
00:29:23.040 We're going to hold that rally, and we are expecting thousands of Italian-Americans to show up in defiance of this mayor who has given us the cold shoulder, who has not reacted, but he cannot deny the will of the people.
00:29:35.380 And we have thousands of people who are going to be there, Italians and non-Italians.
00:29:39.280 You make a good point, Roger. We have many non-Italians there standing in solidarity with us. 0.98
00:29:44.160 He will not be able to ignore that. So stay tuned because we are going to have an epic rally there to show him and show the world that Italian-Americans are very much present in Little Italy and Little Italy very much exists right there in the heart of Manhattan. 0.96
00:29:58.540 Mike, do you have any doubt whatsoever that it's only a short matter of time before they try to remove the statue of Christopher Columbus?
00:30:05.080 oh well i mean columbus circle i think he's gonna 100 try to change the name of columbus circle he's
00:30:12.460 already talked about it he's given the middle finger as you point out and that's going to be
00:30:16.920 another line in the sand that we will not cross if he tries to remove uh the statue of christopher
00:30:22.200 columbus and try to change the name of columbus circle and all these wacky things we are going
00:30:26.540 to have thousands of italian americans out there to make our voices heard you know that's why we
00:30:32.660 started the IACRL because an activist group, okay, advocating on behalf of Italian-Americans
00:30:38.740 isn't something that's existed, but we've seen from Kamala Harris and Tim Wolfe and other figures
00:30:44.120 out there, Zoran obviously now, that they have no problem chipping away, diminishing, and dismissing
00:30:50.080 our people's contributions. So if they try to do that, the Italian-American Civil Rights League
00:30:55.540 will be organizing a massive demonstration there. We will make our voice heard. We have lawyers,
00:31:01.200 We have publicists.
00:31:02.600 We have people in the media.
00:31:04.220 We have people in all sorts of professions who are going to donate their time and their resources to fight back against what is going on in Manhattan right now.
00:31:13.360 So Italian-American contributions do not go unnoticed and do not go anywhere.
00:31:17.180 We were here before Zoran, and Roger, let me tell you, we, the Italian-Americans, are going to be here hundreds of years after he has a long, distant memory.
00:31:26.120 You could take that to the bank.
00:31:27.780 I think you will agree with this.
00:31:29.500 What we're seeing here is a reflection of something much, much larger.
00:31:32.900 You've seen the once great Democrat Party, once great Democrat Party of governors like
00:31:39.240 Hugh Carey, for example, that party no longer exists.
00:31:42.820 The Democrat Party in New York City and in New York State has been taken over by radical
00:31:47.200 leftist progressive knee Marxist fringe of which Mamdami is not just the state leader,
00:31:53.500 but also the national leader. 0.66
00:31:55.660 And therefore, old-fashioned Democrats, old-fashioned Catholic American Democrats really have no home in their own party anymore, can no longer, I think, win a statewide or a citywide primary.
00:32:10.660 So this is the radical takeover of one of our two major parties by a radical fringe.
00:32:17.320 But this is now the party of AOC, the party of Rashida Tlaib, the party of Bernie Sanders.
00:32:24.680 Until yesterday, it was a party of Graham Plattner.
00:32:28.260 This is the larger political and cultural phenomena that's taking place before our very eyes.
00:32:36.680 100%.
00:32:37.240 President Trump said it the other day from the Oval Office.
00:32:40.660 is that we are not running against the Democrat Party.
00:32:43.220 We are running against a group of communists.
00:32:46.000 They have taken over the party.
00:32:48.040 The inmates are running the asylum.
00:32:50.300 And, you know, it's funny, Roger. 0.97
00:32:51.400 You know, a lot of people out there, you know, old-school Italian Americans,
00:32:55.240 they were Democrats.
00:32:56.820 They were working-class Democrats who were out there in the 60s and the 70s
00:33:01.840 voting for Democrats.
00:33:02.960 Those days are long gone.
00:33:04.100 Those are Trump voters now, 110%.
00:33:07.260 But President Trump said it right, that we are no longer running against those types of Democrats.
00:33:13.440 We are running against a different breed. 0.97
00:33:15.780 We are running against a breed of American-hating lunatics who want to erase us off the map. 0.96
00:33:21.980 And this is how they do it, through the symbolism, through the gestures, through the whitewashing. 0.97
00:33:27.000 This is their strategy. 0.80
00:33:28.480 It's in all of the communist playbooks to the letter of the law.
00:33:32.660 And they are running that on us right now.
00:33:34.940 And must we not fall asleep and let it happen to us?
00:33:38.140 We got to wake up.
00:33:39.180 We got to stand up and we have to reclaim our country because it's a good thing if you
00:33:43.560 have Democrats and Republicans, but it's not a good thing if you have Republicans battling 0.98
00:33:47.660 communist America hating lunatics. 0.74
00:33:50.440 So we need to do a course correction and getting the message out about these things helps do 0.94
00:33:55.680 that.
00:33:56.460 All right.
00:33:57.080 We're going to have to leave it there.
00:33:58.000 I want to thank our guest, Mike Crispy.
00:33:59.420 If you're interested, go to IACRL.org, that's the Italian American Civil Rights League.org.
00:34:06.120 It's an all-volunteer, non-profit, and help fight for our heritage and our history. 0.51
00:34:13.500 We'll be right back in the Stone Zone.
00:34:16.040 This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:34:19.620 And he's a great, great person, Roger Stone.
00:34:23.520 The Stone Zone.
00:34:29.420 This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:34:47.140 Roger Stone, who's a very, very, one of the smartest political minds.
00:34:51.260 Roger Stone was persecuted.
00:34:52.500 People forget he's actually a brilliant, brilliant political analyst.
00:34:55.580 Now, get in the zone.
00:34:57.400 It's The Stone Zone.
00:34:59.420 Here's Roger Stone.
00:35:02.260 And we're back in the Stone Zone.
00:35:05.500 Our switchboard is lit up like a Christmas tree.
00:35:08.320 A lot of reaction to this announcement by Mayor Zoran Mamdami
00:35:12.820 releasing a map of the city's notable immigrant enclaves
00:35:18.880 but leaving out storied and historic Little Italy.
00:35:23.100 If you're interested, once again, several people have asked,
00:35:26.460 You can go to the Italian American Civil Rights League. That's the IACRL.org for more information. They're planning a public protest. That is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, and you can join. It's very inexpensive, but 100% of the money is used for a program.
00:35:47.360 In the meantime, President Donald Trump is proving once again that unyielding strength gets results on the world stage aboard Air Force One.
00:35:56.140 The president told reporters that Spain had come all the way back after he threatened to halt U.S. trade with that country over its refusal to meet NATO's defense spending expectations.
00:36:08.380 Evidently, Spain's socialist prime minister, Pedro Sanchez, had resisted NATO's 5% defense spending goals, claiming Spain's much lower target is enough.
00:36:20.600 President Trump just wasn't buying it.
00:36:23.040 At the NATO summit in Ankara, he called Spain a lost cause, and he directed the Treasury Secretary, Scott Besson, to stop U.S. trade with Spain if Madrid continued to freeload.
00:36:33.760 According to President Trump, the pressure worked literally within hours.
00:36:38.380 He said Spain honored a request for significant payments that became far more generous.
00:36:44.060 Spanish government did not publicly detail what was agreed to,
00:36:47.260 but Sanchez did not have a change of heart for no reason.
00:36:50.900 He complied because President Trump twisted his arm.
00:36:54.760 For decades, American taxpayers have carried NATO,
00:36:58.440 while wealthy European governments spent too little on their own defense
00:37:02.340 and expected Uncle Sam to pick up the tab.
00:37:05.440 All the while, those countries have never had our backs when we need them, and they resent our national influence.
00:37:13.680 President Trump is changing that broken status quo.
00:37:16.640 Spain tried to act calm about the whole situation, with Sanchez describing his conversation with President Trump as cordial and casual.
00:37:24.160 But behind Sanchez's attempt to save face, the reality is simple.
00:37:29.420 President Trump drew a line in the sand, and the Spanish blinked under pressure.
00:37:33.500 This is America's first foreign policy in action. No more blank checks, no more freeloading socialist allies, no more subsidizing spending sprees from socialist governments. Countries will pay their fair share or they'll suffer the consequences.
00:37:48.400 It's notable that in his first term, President Donald Trump managed to collect $650 million in past dues from our NATO allies.
00:38:01.260 Yet, when we decided for our own reasons to strike Iran, a number of the NATO countries would not let us use the U.S.-built bases in their country or fly over their airspace.
00:38:13.260 NATO is perhaps outdated
00:38:15.780 I've said it in this show
00:38:17.060 Perhaps it is time to reevaluate our membership 0.86
00:38:20.000 It made sense after World War II
00:38:21.860 When they were economically devastated 0.92
00:38:23.940 And we were still relatively prosperous
00:38:26.320 But now it's a serious question
00:38:28.480 Whether it makes sense
00:38:29.320 Because we support them
00:38:31.120 But they don't support us
00:38:33.360 Thank you for joining us today
00:38:35.200 In the Stone Zone
00:38:36.220 Where five days a week
00:38:37.440 We talk about politics
00:38:38.980 Politics and even more politics
00:38:41.840 We appreciate your tuning in.
00:38:44.200 And we try to bring you the political news that you can't really get any place else.
00:38:49.720 So until tomorrow, God bless you and Godspeed.
00:39:11.420 We'll be right back.
