A separatist movement in Alberta is making headlines, perhaps fulfilling President Trump's premonitions about Canada becoming the 51st state . Could this happen? What would it mean for the province of Saskatchewan, which is the richest and most productive province in Canada, if it becomes a state?
00:00:12.780Everybody remembers when President Donald Trump kidded about Canada becoming our 51st state.
00:00:21.520He even said that then Premier Justin Trudeau could be the governor.
00:00:26.540It shows that our president has a great sense of humor, but there may have been more to it than that.
00:00:32.780You see, a separatist movement in Alberta, Canada, has been making headlines,
00:00:37.980perhaps fulfilling President Trump's premonitions about Canada,
00:00:41.560or more specifically, parts of Canada becoming America's 51st state.
00:00:46.740Alberta is far from the only Canadian province seeking greener pastures,
00:00:52.360although there's been a lot of public speculation.
00:00:54.680Alberta's eastern neighbor, Saskatchewan, is also exploring a succession movement
00:01:01.780seeking freedom from the growing bureaucracy and the nanny state being imposed on them from Ottawa.
00:01:08.720Led by the Saskatchewan United Party, there's a growing populist movement
00:01:13.440that placed third in the previous national election.
00:01:17.120The movement for independence is very rapidly gaining steam.
00:01:21.080Some of my friends out in Staten Island have been talking about the possibility of Staten Island
00:01:27.260succeeding from New York City, but this is somewhat different.
00:01:31.400You see, the Canadian Constitution very specifically allows provinces to seek their independence.
00:01:39.460Now, Saskatchewan is an interesting example because its politics are essentially determined by very rural voters.
00:01:46.240The divide in the different ways of life is coming to a head as the rural areas are sick of paying for the excesses of urban life,
00:02:04.260including the corruption and all of this being delivered from Ottawa by the out-of-touch ruling class.
00:02:11.580New legislation recently passed in Canada requires everyone with a firearm first to register the fact that they own that firearm with the government,
00:02:22.860but also, very shortly, to turn them in.
00:02:26.960This is something that the voters of Saskatchewan, as well as Alberta, are unlikely to embrace.
00:02:33.880You see, polling that I have seen indicates that there is a 79% support for independence in the rural areas of Saskatchewan.
00:02:42.980As the movement for independence gains traction, the ruling party is receiving an increasing amount of pressure
00:02:48.600to initiate an independence referendum.
00:02:51.740That's what it's called for under the Canadian Constitution.
00:02:55.620The United Party has already been successful on initiatives such as promoting parental rights
00:03:00.940and energy reforms that utilize coal, giving them a substantial momentum to embark upon
00:03:07.000if their grandest project of all comes to fruition, the push for independence.
00:03:13.980Saskatchewan's oil and natural gas deposits make the province a key driver of Canada's energy sector,
00:03:20.380while uranium from the northern Saskatchewan powers nuclear energy production around the world.
00:03:26.700As the tech sector yields a sharp global increase in energy production,
00:03:32.260Saskatchewan's uranium production capability could grow into a multi-billion dollar industry within just a few years.
00:03:40.820The province is also the home to a vast reserve of potash,
00:03:45.340producing more of this critical ingredient for agriculture than any other area on Earth.
00:03:50.800Additionally, Saskatchewan's fertile farmlands are among the most productive globally,
00:03:56.000exporting weak canola and pulses to feed millions.
00:04:00.980An economically sound national government, such as the Trump administration,
00:04:04.440could probably harness Saskatchewan's vast potential that is frankly currently being completely mismanaged and squandered.
00:04:12.360Again, this is a province that is the richest in Canada when it comes to oil and natural gas.
00:04:20.140Also, just jumping ahead, were this to become a state, and we'll talk about that process in a moment,
00:04:27.600it almost certainly would elect two Republican U.S. senators.
00:04:32.860Even though the province should be in a bargaining position of immense strength,
00:04:37.080weak leadership has caused Saskatchewan to beat the mercy of the preeminent strategic threat of Western civilization,
00:07:56.160I actually know who planted this story.
00:07:58.460It comes from deep within the bowels of the CIA.
00:08:02.740I could tell you who it was, but, well, they'd probably kill me.
00:08:05.900Because a dozen of these staffers are allegedly listed as potential witnesses in the case against former CIA director John Brennan,
00:08:14.560Gabbard's decision is claimed by these deep state outlets, the New York Times and Axios,
00:08:21.100which used to be great news outlets, at least the New York Times did,
00:08:25.220but today, unfortunately, has become largely just a propaganda sheet for the radical left.
00:08:31.320They both claim that Gabbard's decision to can these 37 quizlings
00:08:39.640has somehow undermined the cooperation credibility of these individuals in the pursuance of the case.
00:08:46.060But if the fake news merchants would tell the true story,
00:08:49.360they would write that holding or not holding a security clearance does not impact any conversations with the DOJ,
00:08:56.380nor would it have any impact on the potential testimony of those with knowledge.
00:09:02.520The clearance gives individuals the ability only to see material.
00:09:06.700It doesn't require analysts to forget what they have already seen.
00:09:10.160It does not allow or prevent operatives from talking to investigators about what they already know,
00:09:16.160or testifying in court if they are required by subpoena to do so.
00:09:20.760That is all based on a recipient's clearance and need to know, not whether they presently hold a clearance.
00:09:27.220So if the Department of Justice has the legal right to ask specifics about what an interviewee knows during an investigation,
00:09:35.100the status of that particular interviewee's security clearance is completely and totally irrelevant.
00:09:40.220The notion that individuals with a canceled security clearance would have diminished credibility among a jury is, frankly, completely absurd.
00:09:51.240Admitted criminals, such as murderers, drug dealers, or those guilty of financial impropriety, for example,
00:09:57.460are often used in witnesses in high-profile trials.
00:10:01.640Federal prosecutors regularly build successful cases based on witness testimony from people with less than reputable records.
00:10:08.540Just because someone has been dismissed from a national security position does not mean that they have been charged with a crime,
00:10:15.140even though in some cases they may have committed crimes.
00:10:17.280So there is no reason why this similarity could not be done with individuals who've had their security clearances revoked.
00:10:25.480In actuality, if there are any deep state criminals put behind bars,
00:10:29.700frankly, we'll have the actions of former Congresswoman, currently the Director of National Intelligence,
00:10:35.640Kelsey Gabbert, to thank for releasing the information that has been so incredibly damning towards them.
00:10:40.740She has, as you know, exposed sensitive documents that were previously kept under wraps by former National Intelligence Directors,
00:10:48.900including the current CIA Director, John Radcliffe,
00:10:51.880showing that the genesis of Russiagate went straight to the top,
00:10:55.380with former President Barack Hussein Obama having intimate knowledge and involvement in the conspiracy
00:11:01.460that was born on July 17, 2017, in the Oval Office,
00:11:06.460and with officials such as CIA Director John Brennan,
00:11:10.120the just-indicted FBI Director James Comey,
00:11:14.360former National Security Advisor Susan Rice,
00:11:18.240and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper,
