The StoneZONE with Roger Stone - The Stone Zone ｜ 11-07-25

00:00:00.160 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:00:08.560 You are now entering the Stone Zone.

00:00:12.460 There is excellent news tonight.

00:00:15.520 President Donald Trump, according to the New York Times,

00:00:19.000 has issued a full and unconditional pardon to former retired New York Police Department detective Michael McMahon.

00:00:26.820 Michael McMahon, working as a licensed private detective, stumbled into a massive Chinese spying operation here in the United States.

00:00:38.680 McMahon, who was never paid with any foreign money, was prosecuted rather than expose the entire inside the United States Chinese spying operation.

00:00:50.700 McMahon's wife, actress Martha Byrne, appeared right here in the Stone Zone only days ago to talk about the unjust nature of this case. 0.96

00:01:01.700 But thanks to God and much prayer, thanks to Martha Byrne and her unrelenting advocacy for justice for her husband,

00:01:10.440 and thanks to the many listeners of the Stone Zone who contacted the White House to tell them that they wanted justice in this case,

00:01:18.740 Michael McMahon will be released.

00:01:20.920 Now, the bad news is that the order of pardon came late today after the Bureau of Pardons was closed for the day,

00:01:29.000 and therefore it is unlikely that Michael McMahon will be released to return to his wife and three kids until Monday.

00:01:35.860 But just the same, justice has been served.

00:01:39.440 God bless America, and God bless President Donald Trump.

00:01:44.220 In unsurprising news, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi announced that she will not be seeking re-election next year.

00:01:52.880 Pelosi, who somehow, on a $200,000 a year salary after decades in the Congress,

00:01:59.520 amassed a fortune of $163 million, according to the most recent financial disclosure filings,

00:02:08.080 is passing the baton to a new generation of extremists and America-haters

00:02:13.420 who will be viring for her seat in her far-left San Francisco district. 1.00

00:02:18.720 Let's listen to Nancy Pelosi. 0.72

00:02:21.800 That is why I want you, my fellow San Franciscans, to be the first to know.

00:02:27.040 I will not be seeking re-election to Congress.

00:02:30.840 With a grateful heart, I look forward to my final year of service as your proud representative.

00:02:36.740 As we go forward, my message to the city I love is this.

00:02:41.580 San Francisco, know your power.

00:02:45.080 We have made history.

00:02:46.540 We have made progress.

00:02:48.200 We have always led the way.

00:02:50.880 And now we must continue to do so

00:02:53.060 by remaining full participants in our democracy

00:02:56.600 and fighting for the American ideals we hold dear.

00:03:01.100 In doing so, we ensure that our city shines on

00:03:04.220 as a beacon of hope, justice, and peace

00:03:07.440 for the country and for generations to come.

00:03:11.500 After all, San Francisco is the greatest city on Earth

00:03:14.780 with the most extraordinary people on Earth

00:03:17.940 and a place that I will always believe is Heaven on Earth.

00:03:23.100 Thank you, San Francisco, for trusting me to be your voice in Congress.

00:03:28.320 May God bless you, and may God bless the United States of America.

00:03:32.220 I mean, the fake heartfeltness and hollow sentiment in Pelosi's videos

00:03:37.860 actually revolted to me.

00:03:40.220 Throughout Pelosi's many decades in politics,

00:03:42.660 the government got bigger, more corrupt,

00:03:45.880 the people became less free, and the country was fractured.

00:03:49.880 This was due in no small part to her woeful leadership. 0.92

00:03:53.460 Pelosi was always nasty and partisan. 0.69

00:03:55.500 She could never hide her contempt for President Donald Trump 0.95

00:04:00.320 or for the people who elected him.

00:04:03.020 She personally enriched herself and her family

00:04:05.500 through a relentless maze of insider trading.

00:04:09.480 Her poor, drunken husband even had an illicit rendezvous 0.58

00:04:13.020 with a mysterious intruder,

00:04:15.020 which Nancy allegedly helped to cover up. 0.99

00:04:17.780 Everything about this woman is fake and inauthentic. 0.98

00:04:21.160 Pelosi will soon be gone,

00:04:22.380 and then she'll be forgotten almost immediately.

00:04:25.500 The radicals who have taken over the Democrat Party

00:04:28.440 hold her in contempt because she's not enough of a Marxist extremist. 0.97

00:04:33.100 So as dangerous as these radical, progressive socialists

00:04:37.020 and Marxists are in the Democrat Party,

00:04:39.520 at least they hold sincere, albeit misguided, and absurd principles.

00:04:44.520 Pelosi never had any principles in my view.

00:04:46.840 She would do and say anything to satisfy the special interest

00:04:50.100 and keep that gravy train rolling in for herself. 0.89

00:04:53.800 Nancy Pelosi is the embodiment of everything that's wrong 1.00

00:04:57.860 with the Washington, D.C. swamp,

00:04:59.860 and I say good riddance to her.

00:05:02.260 Her retirement is long overdue.

00:05:05.300 In exciting news,

00:05:07.180 Congresswoman Elise Stefanik announced today

00:05:09.800 that she will run for governor of New York State.

00:05:13.400 Stefanik will be challenging incumbent Democrat Kathy Hochul

00:05:17.540 in next year's election,

00:05:18.660 where I think she's got the best chance

00:05:21.160 of becoming the first Republican governor

00:05:23.100 of the Empire State

00:05:24.220 since George Pataki,

00:05:26.300 who defeated Governor Mario Cuomo,

00:05:28.960 left office in 2006.

00:05:31.300 In making her announcement,

00:05:33.140 Congresswoman Stefanik wrote that

00:05:35.180 Nancy Hochul is the worst governor in America. 1.00

00:05:38.500 Under her failed leadership, 1.00

00:05:39.980 New York is the most unfavorable state in the nation

00:05:42.340 with the highest taxes,

00:05:44.560 highest energy, utilities, rent, and grocery bills,

00:05:48.200 and among the highest crime rates.

00:05:51.280 When New Yorkers were looking for leadership

00:05:53.160 from our governor,

00:05:54.120 she bent the knee to the raging, 0.98

00:05:56.660 defund the police,

00:05:58.300 tax-hiking,

00:05:59.180 communist-causing catastrophe

00:06:00.940 for New York families.

00:06:02.780 I'm running for governor

00:06:03.840 to make New York affordable

00:06:05.240 and for all New Yorkers.

00:06:07.160 Democrats,

00:06:08.140 Republicans,

00:06:09.140 independents,

00:06:10.160 will unify to save our state.

00:06:12.800 Now, in my opinion,

00:06:14.080 the election of Zoram Mamdani

00:06:16.060 as the New York City mayor

00:06:17.860 should give a shot in the arm

00:06:19.480 to Stefanik's chances.

00:06:22.140 Mamdani's soft-on-crime,

00:06:24.340 high-tax policies

00:06:25.480 are going to cause almost immediate pain

00:06:27.420 and misery

00:06:28.660 to the people of New York City.

00:06:31.000 And Hochul

00:06:31.580 had to immediately bend the knee

00:06:34.280 to this radical wing of the party

00:06:36.220 announcing her endorsement of Mamdani

00:06:38.660 and urging Democrats

00:06:39.780 to hold their nose

00:06:41.300 and vote for the radical.

00:06:43.060 This will not look good

00:06:44.260 for voters next year

00:06:45.480 as Hochul will not be able

00:06:46.780 to remove the stench of Mamdani. 0.97

00:06:49.680 And if Hochul tries

00:06:51.120 to distance herself from,

00:06:52.500 she will risk alienating

00:06:53.760 her far-left base

00:06:55.240 and getting well back in that regard.

00:06:58.820 Congresswoman Elise Stefanik,

00:07:00.620 a very good friend of mine,

00:07:02.220 who's appeared here on the show,

00:07:03.800 is the perfect Republican candidate

00:07:05.980 for New York governor.

00:07:07.060 She appeals to moderates,

00:07:08.600 but she's also unquestionably loyal

00:07:10.480 to President Donald Trump.

00:07:12.520 She will be a governor

00:07:13.820 who can make New York great again.

00:07:17.000 Meanwhile, no surprise,

00:07:18.800 Senator Bernie Sanders

00:07:20.020 is hoping for more

00:07:21.500 Zoran Mamdani candidates

00:07:23.420 nationwide.

00:07:24.980 He told a CNN reporter

00:07:27.000 that, of course,

00:07:28.260 Mamdani is a leader

00:07:29.620 for the Democratic Party.

00:07:31.100 Let's listen to this 0.98

00:07:32.260 socialist blowhard. 0.98

00:07:35.360 After seeing the results 0.95

00:07:36.480 of last night's election,

00:07:37.640 you have said that this is not

00:07:38.680 just a New York City thing,

00:07:39.980 which some people have

00:07:40.680 dismissed his win as.

00:07:41.800 Do you think Zoran Mamdani

00:07:42.980 is a leader

00:07:43.980 in the Democratic Party now?

00:07:45.560 Well, of course he is.

00:07:46.220 He's going to be the mayor

00:07:46.840 of the city of New York.

00:07:48.200 But what's important

00:07:49.240 about last night

00:07:50.940 is not only that he ran

00:07:52.980 a brilliant campaign.

00:07:54.060 He had 90,000 volunteers.

00:07:56.040 He's incredibly articulate.

00:07:57.200 It's what he talked about

00:08:01.120 during the campaign.

00:08:02.140 And he made it clear

00:08:03.000 what is true

00:08:04.080 in every state

00:08:05.000 in this country

00:08:05.700 is that the richest people

00:08:07.540 in America

00:08:08.040 are becoming phenomenally richer.

00:08:09.800 Billionaires are exploding

00:08:10.820 in terms of wealth.

00:08:12.600 While ordinary people,

00:08:13.720 60% of people

00:08:14.680 live paycheck to paycheck,

00:08:16.080 ordinary people

00:08:16.880 can't afford health care.

00:08:18.140 They can't afford child care.

00:08:19.680 They can't afford the food

00:08:20.920 in the grocery store.

00:08:22.740 They can't afford

00:08:23.420 to retire with dignity.

00:08:25.320 That's what Zoran campaigned on.

00:08:27.980 It resonated with people.

00:08:29.480 It will resonate with people

00:08:30.640 in every state

00:08:31.240 in this country.

00:08:32.100 Is that something

00:08:32.560 that Democrats,

00:08:33.560 you believe,

00:08:34.000 should run on

00:08:34.620 in the next year?

00:08:36.080 Look, people understand

00:08:37.440 that Democrats

00:08:37.940 have got to have the courage

00:08:39.300 to acknowledge reality.

00:08:41.100 You've got one person.

00:08:42.360 You tell me

00:08:42.840 if this makes any sense.

00:08:44.340 One person, Mr. Musk,

00:08:45.560 owns more wealth

00:08:46.220 than the bottom 52%

00:08:47.360 of American households.

00:08:48.800 In the richest country

00:08:49.900 on earth,

00:08:50.640 we've got 800,000 people

00:08:52.460 sleeping out on the street.

00:08:53.540 Millions can't afford health care. 0.94

00:08:55.200 We need,

00:08:55.740 it is not a radical idea

00:08:56.980 to say.

00:08:58.140 And that's what

00:08:58.840 Mamdadi is talking about.

00:09:00.980 Sanders is encouraging

00:09:02.340 other candidates

00:09:03.340 to use the Mamdomi approach 0.95

00:09:05.380 of combining populism

00:09:06.900 and socialism

00:09:07.520 to make appeals

00:09:08.500 to the legal voters.

00:09:09.820 While Mamdami's policies

00:09:11.200 might be absurd

00:09:12.220 and laughable,

00:09:13.320 the voting public

00:09:14.040 might not see it that way. 0.99

00:09:15.880 The voters are sick

00:09:16.920 of establishment politicians

00:09:18.460 who feed them the same

00:09:19.560 canned talking points

00:09:20.740 election cycle

00:09:21.580 after election cycle.

00:09:22.700 They know that something

00:09:24.200 is desperately wrong

00:09:25.420 with the system

00:09:26.060 and they want the system

00:09:27.680 to be upended.

00:09:28.840 Socialists who pledge 0.65

00:09:29.620 to do that

00:09:30.180 will earn the votes.

00:09:31.240 It's kind of the hope

00:09:32.420 and change strategy.

00:09:34.460 The only way to combat this

00:09:36.140 is by having real

00:09:37.640 make America

00:09:38.480 great candidates

00:09:39.460 who will give a pro-American

00:09:40.740 set of policies,

00:09:42.300 put them forward

00:09:42.940 for the voters,

00:09:43.560 similar to President Donald Trump,

00:09:44.920 and urge a return

00:09:46.960 to national glory

00:09:48.100 by restoring our sovereignty,

00:09:50.200 establishing supremacy

00:09:51.400 in our trade deals,

00:09:52.700 and getting the government

00:09:53.760 off the backs

00:09:54.640 of the American people.

00:09:56.100 While we're at it,

00:09:57.040 cutting taxes

00:09:57.720 and regulation

00:09:58.460 will help the economy flourish.

00:10:00.440 We need candidates

00:10:01.180 who support those policies.

00:10:03.520 That is a more natural message

00:10:05.080 that appeals

00:10:05.620 to the American people anyway. 0.99

00:10:07.680 But if we're foolish enough 0.98

00:10:08.680 to run establishment Republicans, 0.99

00:10:10.840 I'm afraid we will lose

00:10:12.100 to the socialists

00:10:12.940 and deservedly so.

00:10:16.220 Amazingly,

00:10:16.860 I just read

00:10:17.780 that an incredible 84%

00:10:19.520 of Generation Z women

00:10:21.520 between 18 and 29

00:10:23.540 voted for Zoran Mamdami

00:10:25.420 as mayor of New York City

00:10:27.040 on this past Tuesday.

00:10:28.980 Additionally,

00:10:29.860 67% of men

00:10:31.320 from the same group

00:10:32.080 voted for the socialist candidate.

00:10:35.080 Mamdami dominated 0.98

00:10:36.420 his nearest opponent,

00:10:37.960 former Governor Andrew Cuomo,

00:10:39.880 among voters

00:10:40.500 under the age of 50.

00:10:41.800 Voters over the age of 50

00:10:44.380 preferred Cuomo.

00:10:46.040 Voters making between

00:10:47.200 $30,000 and $300,000

00:10:49.520 per year

00:10:49.960 overwhelmingly supported Mamdami.

00:10:52.720 Unsurprisingly,

00:10:53.580 among those

00:10:54.200 making over $300,000,

00:10:56.760 well,

00:10:57.340 Andrew Cuomo

00:10:57.960 won 62%

00:10:59.320 of the vote.

00:11:00.640 So what do these

00:11:01.780 voter trends really mean?

00:11:03.820 Does it mean

00:11:04.480 that we have lost

00:11:05.260 the youth

00:11:05.800 to the clutches

00:11:06.480 of socialism?

00:11:08.360 Possibly,

00:11:09.080 but I actually

00:11:09.760 don't think so.

00:11:10.620 If we cannot offer

00:11:12.180 an alternative to socialism

00:11:13.660 as be gone

00:11:14.540 support of the status quo,

00:11:16.460 then we will lose

00:11:17.660 the next generation

00:11:18.500 of them.

00:11:19.520 Gen Z voters

00:11:20.460 understand that

00:11:21.360 their future

00:11:21.840 has been robbed

00:11:22.720 from them,

00:11:23.500 that the American dream

00:11:25.000 that previous generations

00:11:26.480 had just does not

00:11:28.300 exist for them.

00:11:30.080 They no longer have

00:11:31.240 functional communities.

00:11:32.800 AI is eviscerating

00:11:34.220 the job market

00:11:35.020 for them.

00:11:35.960 They can't

00:11:36.560 form homes.

00:11:37.460 The idea

00:11:38.460 of having

00:11:38.820 a family

00:11:39.260 seems unattainable

00:11:40.480 for them.

00:11:41.480 So they vote

00:11:42.140 for radical change,

00:11:43.420 and if socialism

00:11:44.100 is the only option

00:11:45.580 for that change,

00:11:46.500 or appears to be,

00:11:47.840 well,

00:11:48.080 they will choose that.

00:11:49.100 I actually think

00:11:49.800 it's understandable.

00:11:51.240 What we need

00:11:51.940 to do

00:11:52.320 is offer

00:11:53.000 the full

00:11:54.020 America First

00:11:55.100 alternative

00:11:55.700 to these voters.

00:11:57.040 We cannot put up

00:11:58.060 with established

00:11:58.900 Republicans

00:11:59.400 thinking they can win.

00:12:01.320 Modern Republicans

00:12:02.240 got us into this mess,

00:12:03.560 in my opinion.

00:12:04.200 They will not

00:12:04.880 get us out of it.

00:12:05.840 We need

00:12:06.920 MAGA Republicans

00:12:08.020 running for as many

00:12:08.860 positions as possible

00:12:09.960 in the midterms,

00:12:10.760 accepting any less

00:12:12.140 means President Trump's

00:12:13.120 agenda will be neutered

00:12:14.180 and will lose the country

00:12:16.160 to our far-left enemies.

00:12:18.560 Those who want to say

00:12:20.080 that the elections

00:12:21.620 this past Tuesday

00:12:22.760 were lost by the Republicans,

00:12:24.540 let me point out

00:12:25.100 that Trump was

00:12:25.840 not on the ballot,

00:12:28.140 and therefore

00:12:28.960 it is unlikely

00:12:30.180 that this can be

00:12:31.160 correctly determined

00:12:32.440 to be a defeat

00:12:33.860 for the president.

00:12:35.100 Additionally,

00:12:37.020 in a sign

00:12:37.720 that President Trump's

00:12:38.600 border enforcement

00:12:39.460 measures are actually

00:12:40.440 working,

00:12:41.640 the U.S. Customs

00:12:42.720 and Border Protection

00:12:43.640 reported the lowest

00:12:44.820 number of illegal

00:12:46.520 immigrant encounters

00:12:47.540 in history

00:12:48.260 during the month

00:12:49.280 of October.

00:12:50.400 This comes

00:12:51.020 as the administration

00:12:52.120 reaches six months

00:12:53.420 of zero releases

00:12:54.660 of illegals

00:12:55.460 under current

00:12:56.260 strict enforcement

00:12:57.120 policies.

00:12:58.540 So catch and release

00:12:59.540 is a thing of the past,

00:13:01.020 and illegals

00:13:01.680 are getting the message.

00:13:02.860 The Department

00:13:04.060 of Homeland Security

00:13:05.080 reported 30,561

00:13:08.500 total nationwide

00:13:09.700 encounters

00:13:10.400 with illegals

00:13:11.160 at the border,

00:13:12.040 which is down 29%

00:13:13.940 from the all-time low

00:13:15.520 of 43,010

00:13:17.520 in October

00:13:18.620 of fiscal year 2012.

00:13:21.300 That was a 79%

00:13:23.040 decrease

00:13:23.960 from last year

00:13:25.040 when the nation

00:13:25.600 was still under

00:13:26.980 Joe Biden's

00:13:27.780 open border

00:13:28.740 insanity.

00:14:24.200 Welcome back

00:14:25.140 into The Stone Zone.

00:14:27.280 Attorney General

00:14:28.060 Pam Bondi stated

00:14:29.380 this week that

00:14:30.280 former special

00:14:31.200 counsel Jack Smith

00:14:32.520 actually confiscated

00:14:34.460 President Donald

00:14:35.280 Trump's government

00:14:36.020 issued phone as part

00:14:38.000 of the infamous

00:14:38.680 and unconstitutional

00:14:40.260 Arctic Frost probe

00:14:42.300 that targeted

00:14:42.980 elected officials,

00:14:44.520 private individuals,

00:14:45.660 and institutions

00:14:46.480 close to President

00:14:47.580 Donald Trump.

00:14:48.840 A major violation

00:14:50.160 of law, privacy,

00:14:51.800 and the Constitution.

00:14:53.700 Bondi wrote,

00:14:54.420 we can never again

00:14:55.740 allow this kind of

00:14:56.840 government weaponization

00:14:57.980 in America.

00:14:59.380 I submitted these

00:15:00.320 new documents to our

00:15:01.660 partners on Capitol Hill.

00:15:03.480 I commend our team

00:15:04.660 at the FBI for working

00:15:06.520 diligently to expose

00:15:07.920 these abuses.

00:15:09.360 The House Judiciary

00:15:10.580 Committee released a report

00:15:11.880 last week showing that

00:15:12.980 people such as myself,

00:15:14.760 former New York City

00:15:15.760 Mayor Rudy Giuliani,

00:15:17.400 Congressman Scott Perry,

00:15:19.200 former Congressman Mark

00:15:20.700 Meadows, White House

00:15:22.040 Personnel Director

00:15:23.040 Dan Scavino,

00:15:24.660 General Michael Flynn,

00:15:26.720 U.S. pardon attorney

00:15:28.660 Ed Martin,

00:15:29.780 and others were all

00:15:30.820 targeted with illegal

00:15:32.540 surveillance in Arctic

00:15:34.180 Frost.

00:15:34.780 Additionally,

00:15:36.120 Jack Smith actually

00:15:37.580 got the phone records

00:15:39.000 of U.S. Senators

00:15:39.980 Lindsey Graham,

00:15:41.240 Bill Haggerty,

00:15:42.600 Josh Hawley,

00:15:43.640 Dan Sullivan,

00:15:44.780 Tommy Tuberville,

00:15:46.040 Ron Johnson,

00:15:46.920 Cynthia Loomis,

00:15:48.180 Marsha Blackburn,

00:15:49.220 and Senator Mike

00:15:50.080 Kelly.

00:15:50.520 They were all seized.

00:15:51.940 So that's a violation

00:15:53.140 of the separation

00:15:54.300 of powers portion

00:15:56.740 of the U.S.

00:15:57.500 Constitution.

00:15:58.660 We know the crimes

00:15:59.740 have been committed

00:16:00.460 and we thank the

00:16:01.580 Trump administration,

00:16:02.700 the FBI,

00:16:03.480 and the DOJ

00:16:04.340 for exposing all this,

00:16:06.280 as well as the House

00:16:07.280 Republicans for their work.

00:16:08.740 But now the time

00:16:09.600 for indictments has come.

00:16:11.440 Now we must see justice

00:16:12.780 against the individuals

00:16:13.960 who knowingly violated

00:16:15.320 our rights in pursuance

00:16:16.660 of their political agenda.

00:16:19.060 We need perp walk. 0.99

00:16:20.080 We need bureaucrats 0.76

00:16:21.540 dragged out of their homes

00:16:22.600 in handcuffs,

00:16:23.280 not for retribution,

00:16:24.700 not for retaliation,

00:16:26.620 but for accountability

00:16:28.040 and justice.

00:16:29.520 Although it will be

00:16:30.820 undeniably sweet

00:16:32.220 watching these people

00:16:33.160 humiliated and disgraced

00:16:34.500 publicly,

00:16:35.280 but we have to restore

00:16:36.740 the rule of law

00:16:37.780 in this country.

00:16:38.680 We need more

00:16:39.760 than just lip service

00:16:40.900 to heal the country

00:16:41.820 and to restore faith

00:16:43.160 in our national

00:16:44.240 law enforcement institutions.

00:16:45.940 Attorney General Bondi,

00:16:47.620 it is time

00:16:48.480 to lock these folks up.

00:16:50.720 Until you hear

00:16:51.660 the FBI

00:16:52.400 pounding on your door

00:16:54.180 at 6 o'clock

00:16:55.000 in the morning,

00:16:56.060 terrorizing your dogs

00:16:57.900 and ultimately

00:16:58.720 your wife,

00:17:00.120 and learn that

00:17:00.960 there's a CNN camera

00:17:02.520 along with

00:17:03.120 29 heavily armed

00:17:04.800 FBI agents

00:17:06.000 in front of your home,

00:17:07.340 until you open

00:17:08.080 the door

00:17:08.700 to the long rifles 0.84

00:17:10.740 pointed at your head,

00:17:11.960 you don't understand

00:17:13.400 how outrageous

00:17:14.500 this entire

00:17:15.780 Russian collusion

00:17:17.380 hoax

00:17:17.920 and the seditious

00:17:19.040 conspiracy

00:17:19.680 that morphed

00:17:20.760 into Arctic Frost

00:17:22.120 has been.

00:17:23.560 Now,

00:17:23.980 it's not about

00:17:25.280 a rampage

00:17:26.720 or revenge

00:17:27.460 and retaliation

00:17:28.580 or retribution,

00:17:29.860 as the Democrats

00:17:30.560 say it is,

00:17:31.320 but it is indeed

00:17:32.120 time for accountability

00:17:33.840 and justice.

00:17:35.200 That is all

00:17:35.960 that President Trump

00:17:36.840 demands,

00:17:37.460 and I support

00:17:38.160 that demand.

00:17:38.900 But now,

00:17:39.740 it's up to

00:17:40.240 Attorney General

00:17:40.940 Pam Bondi

00:17:41.900 to actually

00:17:42.780 determine

00:17:43.320 in front of

00:17:44.080 grand juries

00:17:44.660 who committed

00:17:45.620 crimes,

00:17:46.600 charge them,

00:17:47.600 give them fair

00:17:48.260 trials,

00:17:49.000 and let them

00:17:49.400 face their

00:17:49.980 punishment.

00:17:50.980 I'm Roger Stone,

00:17:51.960 you're listening

00:17:52.360 to The Stone Zone.

00:17:53.280 Whatever you do,

00:17:53.900 don't touch that

00:17:54.680 dial because

00:17:55.520 we'll be right

00:17:56.740 back.

00:18:00.580 The Stone Zone,

00:18:02.520 entertaining

00:18:03.100 and informative

00:18:04.340 on the Red Apple

00:18:05.460 Podcast Network.

00:18:07.620 You are now

00:18:08.540 re-entering

00:18:09.700 The Stone Zone.

00:18:10.820 President Donald

00:18:12.240 Trump has

00:18:12.920 demanded that

00:18:13.900 Senate Republicans

00:18:14.880 end the

00:18:15.820 filibuster,

00:18:16.920 but as I

00:18:17.420 talk to

00:18:17.860 average citizens,

00:18:18.820 I learn that 0.65

00:18:19.340 very few of

00:18:20.020 them really

00:18:20.340 understand what

00:18:21.120 the filibuster

00:18:22.000 is.

00:18:22.920 So let me

00:18:23.500 explain it.

00:18:24.480 A filibuster is

00:18:25.480 a Senate

00:18:25.940 procedure that

00:18:26.860 allows one or

00:18:27.720 more senators

00:18:28.340 to delay or

00:18:29.280 block a vote

00:18:29.940 on a bill

00:18:30.600 or a nomination

00:18:31.480 by extending

00:18:32.760 debate on it.

00:18:34.060 Now, in

00:18:34.400 practice, it

00:18:35.040 means that

00:18:35.500 most legislation

00:18:36.420 cannot pass

00:18:37.240 a Senate

00:18:37.620 unless 60

00:18:38.600 of the 100

00:18:39.640 senators vote

00:18:40.440 to end debate,

00:18:41.460 called a process

00:18:42.940 known as

00:18:43.520 invoking

00:18:44.140 cloture.

00:18:45.200 So without

00:18:45.640 60 votes,

00:18:46.740 no bill or

00:18:47.700 a bill can

00:18:48.460 be stalled

00:18:49.040 indefinitely.

00:18:50.440 So while a

00:18:51.100 simple majority,

00:18:52.260 51 votes,

00:18:53.160 of course,

00:18:53.900 is enough to

00:18:54.540 pass most bills,

00:18:55.660 the filibuster

00:18:56.220 effectively raises

00:18:57.360 the threshold

00:18:58.200 to pass any

00:18:59.300 bill or

00:18:59.840 nomination to

00:19:01.020 60 votes to

00:19:02.040 move that

00:19:02.560 legislation forward.

00:19:03.740 Here's how it

00:19:04.860 actually works.

00:19:06.500 A debate

00:19:06.960 begins on a

00:19:08.040 bill in the

00:19:08.580 Senate.

00:19:09.460 If a senator

00:19:10.180 or group of

00:19:11.240 senators want 0.99

00:19:11.880 to block it,

00:19:12.600 they can refuse

00:19:13.300 to yield the

00:19:14.220 floor or

00:19:15.200 otherwise

00:19:15.800 signal intent

00:19:17.000 to raise a

00:19:18.240 filibuster.

00:19:19.240 To stop the

00:19:20.100 delay, Senate

00:19:20.920 leadership must

00:19:21.680 file a motion

00:19:22.620 for cloture,

00:19:23.720 that is a

00:19:24.340 motion to end

00:19:25.480 the debate.

00:19:26.920 That cloture

00:19:27.800 vote, in

00:19:28.720 other words,

00:19:29.280 invoking or

00:19:31.200 breaking the

00:19:31.840 filibuster,

00:19:32.860 requires a

00:19:33.740 60 votes.

00:19:35.240 If cloture

00:19:35.840 passes,

00:19:36.620 debate ends

00:19:37.340 and the

00:19:37.640 Senate votes

00:19:38.280 on the

00:19:38.660 bill, which

00:19:39.560 requires 51

00:19:40.900 votes to

00:19:41.580 pass it.

00:19:42.340 But if

00:19:42.700 cloture fails,

00:19:43.820 the bill is

00:19:44.400 yet stalled,

00:19:45.500 often effectively

00:19:46.280 killing it.

00:19:47.720 Historically, 0.99

00:19:48.440 filibusters were

00:19:49.340 long speeches.

00:19:50.480 Everybody remembers

00:19:51.100 that clip from

00:19:51.960 Mr. Smith Goes

00:19:53.240 to Washington,

00:19:53.920 that great movie,

00:19:55.480 but now they're

00:19:56.280 mostly procedural.

00:19:57.580 Just the threat

00:19:58.300 of a filibuster

00:19:59.160 can halt any

00:20:00.420 bill or

00:20:01.180 nomination.

00:20:01.740 Now, there

00:20:02.340 are a couple

00:20:02.980 of exceptions

00:20:04.260 to the

00:20:04.800 filibuster.

00:20:05.940 Some Senate

00:20:06.460 actions are

00:20:07.080 not subject

00:20:07.880 to the

00:20:08.320 filibuster

00:20:08.780 rule, including

00:20:09.620 budget

00:20:10.480 reconciliation.

00:20:12.340 That can

00:20:12.700 pass with a

00:20:13.380 simple majority

00:20:14.200 of 51 votes,

00:20:15.780 most presidential

00:20:16.640 nominations, but

00:20:18.000 this is only

00:20:18.600 after a rules

00:20:19.420 change came in

00:20:20.500 2013 and yet

00:20:21.860 again in

00:20:22.340 2017, and

00:20:23.920 certain trade,

00:20:25.140 military, or

00:20:25.980 fast-track

00:20:26.680 measures.

00:20:27.160 So why

00:20:28.620 does the

00:20:29.320 filibuster

00:20:29.880 exist?

00:20:30.500 I mean, it's

00:20:30.840 not in the

00:20:31.820 Constitution.

00:20:33.320 It evolved from

00:20:34.160 early Senate

00:20:34.920 rules that

00:20:35.680 allowed unlimited

00:20:36.820 debate, reflecting

00:20:37.980 the Founders'

00:20:38.720 vision of the

00:20:39.360 Senate as a

00:20:40.620 more deliberative

00:20:41.720 body than the

00:20:42.740 House.

00:20:43.680 Here's why it's

00:20:44.720 beneficial.

00:20:45.700 Of course, that

00:20:46.220 depends on your

00:20:47.020 party.

00:20:47.840 When the

00:20:48.280 minority party

00:20:49.220 benefits, the

00:20:49.960 filibuster gives

00:20:50.700 the minority

00:20:51.240 leverage to block

00:20:52.440 or negotiate

00:20:53.060 changes to

00:20:54.300 legislation or

00:20:55.700 to modify or

00:20:57.620 change a

00:20:58.240 nomination.

00:20:59.420 It prevents the

00:21:00.220 majority from

00:21:00.860 easily passing

00:21:01.660 sweeping policy

00:21:02.540 changes.

00:21:03.460 So, example, the

00:21:04.500 Republicans used

00:21:05.400 it during the

00:21:05.880 Obama years to

00:21:06.800 block some of

00:21:07.660 Obama's

00:21:08.180 initiatives.

00:21:09.300 When the

00:21:09.780 majority party

00:21:10.660 benefits is when

00:21:11.620 they're out of

00:21:12.240 power, so today's

00:21:13.280 majority might one

00:21:14.260 day be the

00:21:14.760 minority, so they 0.97

00:21:16.160 often hesitate to

00:21:17.300 abolish the

00:21:18.100 filibuster rule

00:21:18.900 completely.

00:21:20.040 It can encourage

00:21:21.260 bipartisanship,

00:21:22.340 forcing some

00:21:23.080 cross-party

00:21:24.080 cooperation and

00:21:25.180 negotiation, at

00:21:26.520 least in theory.

00:21:28.020 It protects the

00:21:28.860 Senate's identity

00:21:29.680 as a slower, more

00:21:31.380 consensus-driven

00:21:32.560 chamber.

00:21:33.600 But here's why the

00:21:34.580 filibuster is

00:21:35.340 controversial.

00:21:36.700 Critics say it

00:21:37.520 causes gridlock and

00:21:38.840 gives a minority 0.97

00:21:39.900 of senators,

00:21:41.200 representing a

00:21:41.980 minority of

00:21:42.660 Americans, veto 1.00

00:21:43.960 power over

00:21:44.880 national policy.

00:21:46.780 Supporters argue

00:21:47.740 that it protects

00:21:48.560 minority rights and

00:21:49.840 prevents rash or

00:21:50.920 partisan legislation.

00:21:52.740 Now, the current

00:21:53.720 debate Democrats have

00:21:54.980 often called for

00:21:55.880 filibuster reform,

00:21:57.560 especially when it

00:21:58.220 comes to voting

00:21:59.160 rights, abortion, or

00:22:00.520 gun legislation.

00:22:02.180 Republicans generally

00:22:03.200 have defended the

00:22:04.320 filibuster as a

00:22:05.620 safeguard against

00:22:06.940 tyranny of the

00:22:08.100 majority.

00:22:09.340 Some proposals

00:22:10.040 include a talking

00:22:11.320 filibuster requiring

00:22:12.480 senators to

00:22:13.200 physically hold the

00:22:15.040 floor or carving out

00:22:16.860 exceptions for

00:22:17.780 specific issues.

00:22:19.320 The bad news,

00:22:20.140 however, is that

00:22:21.260 Senator Ted Cruz has

00:22:22.820 informed President

00:22:23.660 Trump that the

00:22:25.240 Senate does not

00:22:26.560 have the votes to

00:22:27.600 end the filibuster

00:22:28.660 to reopen our

00:22:29.780 government.

00:22:30.500 Let's listen to

00:22:31.380 Senator Cruz.

00:22:33.220 I'm sure you're at

00:22:34.500 the Republican

00:22:35.180 breakfast with

00:22:36.080 President Trump.

00:22:37.680 He wants to end

00:22:40.720 the filibuster,

00:22:41.860 okay, and he's

00:22:42.640 campaigning on it,

00:22:44.100 talking about it,

00:22:44.980 tweeting on it.

00:22:45.980 He talked to you

00:22:46.720 all at the

00:22:47.180 breakfast meeting.

00:22:48.540 What does Senator

00:22:49.820 Ted Cruz think

00:22:50.720 about this?

00:22:51.920 Look, the votes

00:22:52.880 are not there to

00:22:53.680 end the filibuster.

00:22:54.900 It is not.

00:22:55.580 Every president of

00:22:56.600 our lifetime has

00:22:57.520 wanted to end the

00:22:58.240 filibuster because if

00:22:59.240 you want to move

00:22:59.760 legislation through,

00:23:01.380 the filibuster

00:23:02.080 necessarily slows

00:23:03.520 things down.

00:23:04.380 I can tell you that

00:23:05.820 when Joe Biden was

00:23:06.720 in the White House

00:23:07.360 and Democrats had

00:23:08.260 the House and

00:23:08.880 Senate, it is only

00:23:10.420 the filibuster that

00:23:11.620 stopped us from

00:23:12.660 absolute devastation.

00:23:15.760 President Trump

00:23:16.680 said it's only a

00:23:17.560 matter of time before

00:23:18.400 the Democrats end

00:23:19.420 the filibuster, so

00:23:20.360 why not go ahead

00:23:21.220 and get ahead of

00:23:22.000 them and muscle 0.89

00:23:22.560 through as much

00:23:23.180 of the MAGA

00:23:24.280 agenda as

00:23:25.080 possible.

00:23:25.980 President Trump

00:23:26.640 said, I think it's

00:23:27.280 time for them to

00:23:28.060 end the filibuster

00:23:28.980 or just put

00:23:29.620 everybody back to

00:23:30.540 work.

00:23:31.480 Vote in, voter

00:23:32.260 ID, vote no

00:23:34.240 in-mail voting

00:23:35.240 except for the

00:23:35.820 military, faraway

00:23:37.440 military and people 0.76

00:23:38.440 that are very sick. 0.91

00:23:39.340 I'd like to see

00:23:39.820 one day voting,

00:23:40.820 all on one day.

00:23:42.060 I'd like to see

00:23:42.900 not 65 days of

00:23:44.520 voting from all

00:23:45.400 over the place.

00:23:46.100 I'd like to clean

00:23:47.100 up the elections,

00:23:48.100 the border.

00:23:48.540 We've done a

00:23:49.360 great job.

00:23:50.360 We have a great

00:23:50.920 strong border now.

00:23:52.320 I'd like to see

00:23:53.060 new rules on

00:23:54.080 immigration that

00:23:54.840 can be fair and

00:23:55.900 good.

00:23:56.700 There's so many

00:23:57.160 things that we

00:23:57.700 could put into

00:23:58.400 place, including

00:23:59.120 tax cuts that we

00:24:00.080 could get, and we

00:24:01.120 could do it all

00:24:01.780 ourselves.

00:24:02.460 But to do that,

00:24:03.500 we have to end

00:24:04.600 the filibuster.

00:24:05.760 The filibuster,

00:24:06.840 they'll do it soon.

00:24:08.080 They'll immediately

00:24:08.720 do it.

00:24:09.380 But it does not

00:24:10.100 appear that way.

00:24:11.380 It's hard to

00:24:11.900 disagree with the

00:24:12.560 president's strategy

00:24:13.420 here.

00:24:13.880 The country's

00:24:14.380 hanging by a thread.

00:24:15.280 This may be the

00:24:16.600 last chance to

00:24:17.520 save America.

00:24:19.300 If the Senate

00:24:19.760 doesn't use the

00:24:21.100 power at their

00:24:22.120 disposal, well,

00:24:23.620 this could derail

00:24:24.480 the momentum

00:24:24.960 President Trump

00:24:25.720 has built and

00:24:26.340 give the Democrats

00:24:27.040 the edge in going

00:24:28.320 into next year's

00:24:29.560 midterm elections.

00:24:31.180 Unfortunately,

00:24:31.940 Senator Cruz and

00:24:33.100 the RINO gang

00:24:34.360 won't take, I

00:24:35.940 think, any

00:24:36.380 excuse not to

00:24:37.680 act.

00:24:38.060 This is why

00:24:38.540 conservatives have

00:24:39.440 not seemed to

00:24:40.720 conserve much of

00:24:41.560 anything over the

00:24:42.520 last couple years.

00:24:43.920 President Donald

00:24:45.220 Trump has been

00:24:46.320 further hampered

00:24:47.340 by the blue

00:24:48.520 slip rule. 1.00

00:24:49.360 The blue slip

00:24:49.840 rule is not a

00:24:50.540 law.

00:24:51.400 It's not in the

00:24:51.920 Constitution.

00:24:52.720 It's not in the

00:24:53.440 Senate rules, but

00:24:54.860 basically says that

00:24:56.240 unless one or both

00:24:58.060 senators from any

00:24:59.560 given state acquiesce

00:25:01.240 in the appointment

00:25:01.860 of a U.S. 0.67

00:25:03.120 attorney, in

00:25:04.200 other words, they

00:25:04.780 give a blue slip,

00:25:06.540 then that U.S. 0.76

00:25:07.320 attorney can not

00:25:08.760 be confirmed.

00:25:10.520 That means that

00:25:11.320 the president, who

00:25:12.140 has the unilateral

00:25:12.900 right to

00:25:13.820 appoint U.S.

00:25:14.680 attorneys in

00:25:15.320 every jurisdiction

00:25:16.620 in the country, is

00:25:17.860 thwarted by the

00:25:18.640 U.S.

00:25:18.960 Senate, that

00:25:19.820 simply refuses to

00:25:21.380 act.

00:25:22.100 We've seen exactly

00:25:23.040 that happen in

00:25:24.020 New Jersey, where

00:25:25.040 the president

00:25:25.600 appointed the

00:25:26.560 most able

00:25:27.480 attorney, Alina

00:25:29.260 Haba, to the

00:25:30.220 U.S.

00:25:30.620 attorney's office,

00:25:31.320 but the two

00:25:32.560 Democrat senators

00:25:33.720 from New Jersey

00:25:34.440 have refused to

00:25:35.880 acquiesce in her

00:25:37.040 nomination, giving

00:25:38.560 her a blue slip.

00:25:40.180 The president

00:25:40.640 then appointed

00:25:41.280 her as an 0.52

00:25:42.140 interim U.S.

00:25:43.320 attorney, which

00:25:44.260 she could serve

00:25:44.900 for 120 days.

00:25:47.240 At the end of

00:25:47.840 that 120 days, the

00:25:49.460 seat was vacated.

00:25:50.860 The federal judges

00:25:51.760 from the district

00:25:52.560 immediately appointed

00:25:53.500 a liberal Democrat

00:25:54.780 as the U.S.

00:25:56.000 attorney.

00:25:56.980 The president

00:25:57.800 then fired that

00:25:59.120 U.S.

00:25:59.540 attorney and

00:26:01.000 reappointed Alina Haba

00:26:03.180 as the acting or

00:26:04.840 deputy attorney general.

00:26:06.600 It's time to end

00:26:07.680 the charade and let

00:26:09.120 President Donald

00:26:10.040 Trump have his

00:26:11.420 nominees.

00:26:12.840 It's interesting

00:26:13.760 that in the Biden

00:26:14.880 years, Republican

00:26:16.360 senators in virtually

00:26:17.580 every state

00:26:18.520 acquiesced in Biden's

00:26:20.460 appointment of the

00:26:21.480 U.S.

00:26:21.780 attorneys.

00:26:22.860 That civility that

00:26:24.380 was given to

00:26:25.280 Republicans, by

00:26:26.520 Republicans, to

00:26:27.300 Democrats during the

00:26:28.360 Biden years, does not 1.00

00:26:29.820 exist for Donald Trump.

00:26:31.760 And therefore, once

00:26:32.720 again, similar to his

00:26:34.140 first term, President

00:26:35.520 Trump does not

00:26:36.380 control his own

00:26:38.060 judiciary and his

00:26:39.280 own, I would say,

00:26:41.760 Department of

00:26:42.940 Justice.

00:26:43.620 It's time to do

00:26:45.100 away with the blue

00:26:46.420 slip rule and let 1.00

00:26:48.100 President Donald

00:26:48.880 Trump have his

00:26:49.940 nominees as federal

00:26:51.460 prosecutors.

00:26:52.500 As I said, when we

00:26:53.700 first entered the

00:26:54.920 Stone Zone, President

00:26:56.580 Donald Trump has

00:26:57.920 pardoned former New

00:26:59.300 York City Police

00:27:00.260 Sergeant Michael

00:27:01.620 McMahon.

00:27:02.300 Here's what I wrote

00:27:03.020 just weeks ago.

00:27:04.920 Michael McMahon is

00:27:06.120 a distinguished,

00:27:07.040 decorated New York

00:27:07.880 City Police Department

00:27:08.920 sergeant who served

00:27:10.600 New Yorkers with

00:27:11.380 honor during some of

00:27:12.500 the most dangerous

00:27:13.240 years of crime in

00:27:15.020 America's largest

00:27:15.980 city.

00:27:16.760 After retiring from

00:27:18.220 the department, he

00:27:19.060 continued to serve

00:27:20.040 through honest work

00:27:21.160 as a licensed private

00:27:22.800 investigator in New

00:27:24.320 Jersey.

00:27:25.420 Yet he was charged

00:27:26.460 by the Biden

00:27:27.660 Justice Department.

00:27:28.760 His alleged crime

00:27:29.600 was nothing more

00:27:30.520 than accepting an

00:27:31.800 assignment from a

00:27:32.760 U.S.-based company

00:27:34.360 that involved

00:27:35.460 surveillance for

00:27:36.360 clients he had no

00:27:37.520 reason to believe

00:27:38.440 were connected to

00:27:39.620 Beijing's sinister

00:27:41.620 communist Chinese

00:27:42.760 campaign known as

00:27:44.500 Operation Fox Hunt.

00:27:46.720 So Michael McMahon

00:27:47.660 took photographs.

00:27:48.820 He observed movements.

00:27:50.360 He performed lawful

00:27:51.720 investigative work that

00:27:53.260 private investigators

00:27:54.240 across America

00:27:55.180 perform every single

00:27:57.140 day.

00:27:58.240 Yet when he uncovered

00:27:59.460 a massive communist

00:28:00.920 Chinese spy ring right 1.00

00:28:02.620 here in the United

00:28:03.460 States, the Department

00:28:05.040 of Justice twisted

00:28:06.140 these routine tasks

00:28:07.780 into a theatrical

00:28:09.200 display of espionage

00:28:10.820 and conspiracy.

00:28:12.100 They smeared him as

00:28:13.380 if he were an enemy

00:28:14.200 of the state and

00:28:15.560 they railroaded this

00:28:16.660 fine American into a 0.79

00:28:18.380 false conviction.

00:28:19.780 They sent Michael

00:28:20.820 McMahon to prison

00:28:22.000 while the true

00:28:23.120 traitors of our

00:28:24.160 republic walked free.

00:28:25.760 At the center of this

00:28:26.960 fight for an innocent

00:28:27.980 man's rights and

00:28:29.080 freedom stands his

00:28:29.920 wife, actress and

00:28:30.800 author Martha Byrne.

00:28:32.660 She joined us right

00:28:33.540 here in the Stone

00:28:34.320 Zone only days ago.

00:28:36.500 She has shown the

00:28:37.280 courage that can only

00:28:38.280 be described as

00:28:39.160 incandescent.

00:28:40.740 She has written,

00:28:41.520 spoken and now

00:28:42.260 documented this

00:28:43.360 calamity against her

00:28:44.480 family in a book

00:28:45.420 In the Interest of

00:28:46.720 Justice which exposed

00:28:48.000 the corruption and

00:28:49.380 cruelty of a system

00:28:50.420 that chews up the

00:28:51.500 innocent to protect

00:28:52.980 the guilty.

00:28:54.340 Her work is not

00:28:55.160 only a voice of a

00:28:56.440 devoted wife but a

00:28:57.520 battle cry for

00:28:58.380 justice in America,

00:29:00.100 justice for all.

00:29:01.740 But let's take a

00:29:02.600 minute to examine the 0.97

00:29:03.760 hypocrisy that reeks

00:29:04.980 from the walls of 0.99

00:29:06.040 Washington.

00:29:07.100 While Michael

00:29:07.900 McMahon is punished

00:29:09.180 as if he were a

00:29:10.060 foreign agent serving

00:29:11.140 his prison sentence,

00:29:12.620 the real enemies of

00:29:13.540 America are shielded 0.99

00:29:14.680 and protected.

00:29:16.360 Bureaucrats twist the

00:29:17.580 law into a weapon to

00:29:19.020 destroy ordinary men

00:29:20.360 while ignoring the

00:29:21.200 corruption, festering in

00:29:22.820 their own ranks.

00:29:24.200 The Biden regime

00:29:25.120 rewards loyalty to

00:29:26.520 the swamp and

00:29:27.220 punishes loyalty to

00:29:28.740 the truth.

00:29:29.920 Meanwhile, Michael

00:29:30.820 McMahon, who never

00:29:32.100 leaked a classified

00:29:33.080 secret, never took a

00:29:34.960 foreign payment, never

00:29:36.620 obstructed justice, yet

00:29:37.980 was shackled and

00:29:38.880 treated as if he were a 0.74

00:29:39.860 dangerous traitor. 0.65

00:29:41.420 Yes, I know it all too 0.91

00:29:42.680 well.

00:29:43.100 This is lawfare in its

00:29:44.680 most malignant form.

00:29:46.660 I know these tactics

00:29:47.840 because I lived them.

00:29:49.740 When Robert Mueller's

00:29:50.740 inquisition targeted me,

00:29:52.160 they buried exculpatory

00:29:53.660 evidence.

00:29:54.680 They twisted facts

00:29:55.600 beyond recognition.

00:29:57.380 They produced

00:29:58.020 fabrications born of

00:29:59.680 pure deceit.

00:30:01.160 Yet the unredacted

00:30:02.620 Mueller report revealed

00:30:03.740 my innocence and

00:30:04.680 proved what I'd said

00:30:05.560 all along.

00:30:06.700 I was innocent.

00:30:08.160 I had done nothing

00:30:09.580 wrong.

00:30:10.420 But you see, the

00:30:11.220 process itself is the

00:30:13.180 punishment.

00:30:14.160 And Michael McMahon

00:30:15.100 was enduring the

00:30:16.140 exact same punishment

00:30:17.280 until today.

00:30:18.780 The exculpatory

00:30:19.820 evidence withheld

00:30:20.760 from McMahon and his

00:30:22.040 defense team would

00:30:22.860 have most certainly

00:30:23.500 have proved his

00:30:24.800 undoubted innocent,

00:30:26.320 but would have also

00:30:27.240 exposed the malicious

00:30:28.420 and corrupt conduct of

00:30:29.920 the FBI and the

00:30:31.560 Justice Department

00:30:32.480 themselves.

00:30:33.520 I emphasize greatly

00:30:35.120 with McMahon because,

00:30:36.820 well, I have been

00:30:37.760 where he is and I know

00:30:38.860 exactly how he feels.

00:30:40.600 No American should ever 0.99

00:30:41.820 have to be living in

00:30:42.760 fear of their own

00:30:44.000 government.

00:30:44.840 The architects of this

00:30:46.600 injustice are the

00:30:47.860 career Comey loyalists

00:30:49.680 at the FBI who, like

00:30:51.980 termites, infest the

00:30:53.540 foundation of our

00:30:54.820 republic.

00:30:55.880 These are dangerous

00:30:56.600 people.

00:30:57.540 They're also subversive

00:30:58.720 people.

00:30:59.720 They crucify good men

00:31:01.040 like Michael McMahon

00:31:02.100 because he's easy to

00:31:03.360 destroy and they believe

00:31:05.040 no one will fight for

00:31:06.140 him.

00:31:06.920 They must not only be

00:31:08.060 removed from power,

00:31:09.080 but they themselves should

00:31:10.000 now be prosecuted for

00:31:11.220 their corruption and

00:31:13.000 their betrayal of the

00:31:14.400 American people.

00:31:15.180 The good news is

00:31:16.040 President Donald Trump

00:31:17.560 has acted.

00:31:19.540 He alone had the

00:31:20.500 courage to strike at

00:31:21.760 the heart of this

00:31:22.900 Levitian outrage.

00:31:25.300 A pardon for Michael

00:31:26.480 McMahon today is not

00:31:27.880 mercy.

00:31:28.720 What it is, is

00:31:29.860 justice.

00:31:30.960 He was innocent all

00:31:32.120 long, just like I

00:31:33.120 said I was, and it

00:31:34.560 was the repudiation of

00:31:35.760 selected prosecution

00:31:36.980 that stands out

00:31:38.200 today.

00:31:38.620 It is a desperation

00:31:40.300 of fairness and a

00:31:41.340 nation of forgotten

00:31:42.280 what fairness means.

00:31:44.380 I'm glad that

00:31:45.100 her book was also a

00:31:50.200 beacon.

00:31:51.020 It's a rallying cry for

00:31:52.220 every American who

00:31:53.400 has ever felt the

00:31:54.400 crushing weight of

00:31:55.260 government tyranny and

00:31:56.700 for those Americans who

00:31:57.860 have not yet suffered

00:31:59.020 the same fate as

00:31:59.900 McMahon and me.

00:32:01.580 It is a cautionary

00:32:03.260 tale.

00:32:04.360 She was right to

00:32:05.180 demand her husband's 0.99

00:32:06.100 freedom.

00:32:06.920 The American people

00:32:07.720 stood with him.

00:32:09.020 I want to thank all of

00:32:09.960 those who listened to

00:32:11.080 that broadcast and who

00:32:12.240 prayed for Michael

00:32:13.040 McMahon, his wife, and

00:32:14.840 his three children.

00:32:16.480 He was charged simply

00:32:18.000 with bribery, and

00:32:19.260 every time I turned

00:32:20.400 around, they shortened

00:32:21.460 his sentence.

00:32:22.900 Charles McGonigal is a

00:32:24.260 perfect example of the

00:32:25.820 incredible corruption of

00:32:27.320 the FBI, corruption that

00:32:29.520 Kash Patel, the new FBI

00:32:31.200 director, must clean house

00:32:33.120 with.

00:32:33.860 This is Roger Stone and

00:32:35.360 The Stone Zone, and we'll

00:32:36.700 be right back.

00:32:41.220 The Stone Zone, entertaining

00:32:43.840 and informative on the Red

00:32:45.900 Apple Podcast Network.

00:32:48.340 The entering of the Stone

00:32:50.040 Zone, it was actually 53

00:32:51.860 years ago today that

00:32:54.720 President Richard Nixon won

00:32:56.880 the greatest single

00:32:58.180 landslide in American

00:32:59.560 political history, carrying

00:33:01.700 all states in his

00:33:03.060 re-election bid with the

00:33:04.220 exception of Massachusetts.

00:33:05.700 It was only a year and a

00:33:08.140 half after that, of course,

00:33:09.580 that President Nixon was

00:33:10.760 forced to resign in the

00:33:12.180 Watergate scandal.

00:33:13.820 But the Washington Post

00:33:15.500 version of Watergate is not

00:33:17.560 the truth.

00:33:18.900 Based on declassified

00:33:20.420 government documents, we now

00:33:22.060 know that the Central

00:33:23.620 Intelligence Agency was well 0.99

00:33:25.740 aware of the misguided plan to

00:33:27.960 break into the Watergate, and

00:33:30.140 that they infiltrated the

00:33:32.040 Watergate burglar team.

00:33:33.780 Indeed, four of the eight

00:33:35.740 Watergate burglars were CIA 0.62

00:33:38.420 operatives still on the CIA

00:33:40.820 payroll and reporting to

00:33:42.900 their CIA handlers.

00:33:46.140 We also know that the Senate

00:33:50.460 Watergate special prosecutor,

00:33:52.580 specifically Nick Ackerman, was

00:33:55.120 well aware of this CIA

00:33:57.040 infiltration, but refused to make

00:34:00.520 it public.

00:34:02.380 It is now, I think, an

00:34:04.080 article of faith that the

00:34:05.280 American people have not been 0.99

00:34:06.480 told the truth about

00:34:07.900 Watergate, and that the

00:34:09.560 Washington Post version of

00:34:11.540 events is, well, just false,

00:34:14.060 what President Trump would call

00:34:15.340 fake news.

00:34:16.800 On a personal note, I'm happy

00:34:18.380 to report that my dog Peewee,

00:34:21.480 who, as many of you know, was

00:34:23.340 poisoned only about a month and a

00:34:25.160 half ago, has now gotten a

00:34:27.240 clean bill of health from the

00:34:29.040 veterinarian after Mrs. Stone

00:34:31.500 taking the dog in for blood

00:34:33.440 tests on a weekly basis and

00:34:35.160 taking a very special diet.

00:34:37.800 I think Peewee also benefited from

00:34:39.780 the great products of Rough

00:34:41.380 Greens, that's R-U-F-F-Greens.com,

00:34:45.480 an all-natural series of both food

00:34:49.260 and vitamins that I think helped

00:34:51.100 his recovery tremendously.

00:34:53.800 Lastly, I want to say, as a

00:34:55.680 Hungarian-American, I am half

00:34:57.820 Italian and half Hungarian,

00:35:00.000 although I'm Italian from the

00:35:01.280 waist down, I was pleased to see

00:35:03.180 Hungarian President Viktor Orban

00:35:05.380 visit President Donald Trump

00:35:06.840 today in the White House.

00:35:08.900 Now, they call Orban a Nazi, they

00:35:11.520 call him a dictator, but he won a

00:35:13.580 democratic election.

00:35:15.720 And the Hungarians are experiencing

00:35:17.960 a period of both security, safety,

00:35:21.920 and unprecedented prosperity.

00:35:25.260 They're also one of the few

00:35:26.340 countries in Europe that does not

00:35:28.800 have unregulated and uncontrolled

00:35:32.420 illegal immigration.

00:35:34.520 So, Viktor Orban is not only not a

00:35:37.240 Nazi, but he's a Democrat with a 0.82

00:35:39.080 small d.

00:35:40.320 He is a great man, and it's not

00:35:42.300 incidental that Hungary, Poland, and

00:35:44.740 Romania, the three countries in

00:35:46.760 Europe that do not allow unregulated

00:35:48.920 Muslim integration are among the

00:35:52.280 safest and most prosperous in all of

00:35:55.300 Europe.

00:35:56.080 So, I'm proud of my Hungarian roots

00:35:58.300 today, and I salute President Viktor

00:36:00.340 Orban, as well as President Donald

00:36:02.700 Trump, for having the Hungarian 1.00

00:36:05.460 president visit.

00:36:06.960 So, all in all, my friend, New York

00:36:09.620 police detective Michael McMahon being

00:36:12.260 pardoned, my dog Peewee 2.0, and the

00:36:16.660 Hungarian president visiting the White

00:36:18.760 House.
