00:02:17.980 This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:02:21.960 People love him and respect him.
00:02:23.420 Roger Stone.
00:02:24.340 Now, get in the zone. It's the Stone Zone. Here's Roger Stone.
00:02:31.460 And I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone here on election night eve in America.
00:02:37.540 The big midterm elections of 2026. By this time tomorrow night, we'll have some results already.
00:02:45.060 Some of which could be very, very consequential.
00:02:48.220 And of course, this is a national program. We're even on in some foreign countries.
00:02:52.980 And if you have the WABC app or some of the other apps from some of our affiliate stations, you can listen to it in outer space if you want to.
00:03:00.220 But I want to start by making an important point about our American political system, the brilliance of the founding fathers and what they understood about it.
00:03:10.780 And how the way that people, especially in the news media, cover the midterm elections is contrary to some of the things that make America great and have always made America great.
00:03:22.980 I think one of the greatest things about the American political system
00:03:27.780 is that we don't have a parliamentary democracy.
00:03:30.140 Parliamentary democracies are a mess and a half. 0.70
00:03:32.920 If you don't believe me, look at what's going on in Israel right now
00:03:35.960 with their election, look at some of the other countries.
00:03:40.200 The reason why we don't have a parliamentary government in this country
00:03:45.520 is the Founding Fathers wanted individual members of Congress
00:03:52.020 and our president to be individually recognizable individually accountable and didn't like the idea
00:03:57.820 of political parties in the first place political parties came later after washington's presidency
00:04:04.080 after the constitution was ratified and they didn't like the idea of people voting for parties
00:04:11.460 instead of individuals who would be personally accountable
00:04:16.220 and in a healthy american polity when our when our political system is healthy and i think even
00:04:23.720 in healthy parts of other other parts of the world all politics thus becomes local when things are
00:04:31.260 healthy when things are working right it was the great tip o'neill longtime speaker of the house
00:04:37.700 who's who's who made that quote all politics is local that was his statement
00:04:42.100 But if you turn on the news media, if you turn on the news stations, the cable stations, if you look at the websites, they keep trying to nationalize our midterm elections.
00:04:54.060 Now, with presidential elections, even though we do also pick our president state by state, as you know, I can understand the nationalizing of the election.
00:05:04.280 It's the president of the whole country, after all, and I don't blame the news media and other entities for doing that.
00:05:09.260 But I do have a huge bone to pick with these people who continue to nationalize our midterm elections, and they're on the left and the right.
00:05:19.300 At the end of the day, if you vote for a candidate in your state, in your congressional district, based on national policies, on national trends, you're making a mistake.
00:05:31.480 These people need to represent you.
00:05:33.360 And the only reason why you're seeing so many Democrats doing better in the polls and some of them will win in a lot of cases is because of the national hatred of Donald Trump that has been cultivated by the Democrats and the left since 2015 when he came down the escalator. 1.00
00:05:55.040 And if your vote tomorrow, or if you early voted, was based on your hatred of Donald Trump, you're a fool. 0.99
00:06:03.280 He's not a candidate in this election. 0.99
00:06:05.800 And no matter how many so-called Trump loyalists are on the ballot, and there really is no such thing, I'm sorry.
00:06:13.980 It's not, at the end of the day, his decisions that you're going to be voting for.
00:06:18.240 You're voting for your governor.
00:06:19.480 You're voting for your congressman or woman.
00:06:22.180 You're voting for Senate.
00:06:23.940 You're voting for some even more local positions.
00:06:25.960 You're voting for local judgeships.
00:06:28.900 If you're pulling that lever because I'm going to vote for the guy that Trump hates the most
00:06:32.600 or the woman that Trump hates the most, and I'll be really sticking it to him,
00:06:35.300 you're not sticking it to him.
00:06:37.180 He's a billionaire, if we're crying out loud.
00:06:38.920 Believe me, I'm not saying he's going to celebrate if the Democrats take Congress.
00:06:43.920 He's not going to care all that much.
00:06:47.440 He'll move on and continue doing what he can possibly do with or without any congressional help.
00:06:53.220 It's not like this guy hasn't been a fighter all the time.
00:06:56.000 He's constantly fighting, no matter what. 0.99
00:07:01.040 But more importantly, you're a fool because you need to elect the guy or the gal in your district, 0.99
00:07:05.940 in your state, in your area, who's going to represent you and your issues. 1.00
00:07:10.840 The best.
00:07:12.860 And understands your state, if it's a statewide election.
00:07:16.540 Understands your district, if it's you're just talking about district-wide elections.
00:07:20.300 And the Founding Fathers knew this.
00:07:23.220 They didn't like the idea of these different parties that they had seen in Europe, particularly in England, where they were just fighting over which party had control, the actual governing and the personal responsibility, which is what the Founding Fathers wanted.
00:07:38.520 The Founding Fathers dreamt of a world where there would be a king who would be accountable.
00:07:43.940 Short of that, which they knew they couldn't have both, they created the office of the presidency.
00:07:48.720 Because at the end of the day, they wanted one human being who could be personally known by the whole country to have these important decisions.
00:07:58.060 They wanted it to have some checks and balances. They wanted the Congress to be there as well.
00:08:02.360 But ultimately, they wanted a very powerful chief executive and a parliament that would do things like control the money and create certain decisions about approvals and, for example, the confirmation of judges and things like that.
00:08:18.720 This is a good system.
00:08:21.180 It's so much better than parliamentary democracies, which are a mess, which encourage tons and tons of parties. 0.96
00:08:27.700 They encourage less individual responsibility and more communal crap. 0.99
00:08:33.240 Look at a country like Israel. 0.99
00:08:34.680 Nine million people in that country.
00:08:36.220 They had 37 parties running in that election a week or so ago.
00:08:41.100 That's insane.
00:08:42.720 It's absolutely insane. 0.61
00:08:44.360 they need to scrap that system and don't think it is impossible israel was a very socialist
00:08:51.000 country until relatively recently and they've mostly scrapped the socialist nonsense so they
00:08:55.300 could do it if they wanted to they should because it's not working it's just not working folks
00:09:00.580 now we've got a lot of things not working in our uh political culture as well but mostly because
00:09:06.800 people are trying to move us away from this brilliant thought that the founding fathers had
00:09:11.920 which should was create a non-parliamentary democracy one that still had elements of a
00:09:20.260 parliament that's what the congress is but not in the way that we that you see in other countries
00:09:24.540 and i and i think it's i think it's brilliant so if you're voting tomorrow or you already voted 0.99
00:09:31.360 based on what you think about trump alone you're a fool not only are you a fool not not really 0.99
00:09:36.300 looking out for your own locality's best interests because you're not and that includes people who 0.99
00:09:43.500 love donald trump there's some people who maybe will vote with donald trump if they make it to
00:09:50.340 congress but they have no business running for office but for the most part i'm talking about
00:09:56.440 the people who hate trump who not only vote that way whether he's running or not but act that way
00:10:02.320 have their social interactions based on who who the president is take a look at some of these
00:10:09.440 dating sites online if you ever want to a huge number of people the first thing they say is if
00:10:14.660 you vote if you vote for trump i don't want to i mean honestly even if you hate trump and you
00:10:19.920 choose whom to date first on their on their politics it's what a lousy um romantic person 0.95
00:10:24.920 you are this whole country has been dealing with a large amount of mental illness over donald trump 0.78
00:10:31.940 for a long time and I'm so sick of it and this hopefully will be the last vestige of it what
00:10:37.780 we're seeing now if you don't believe me just look back think to yourself how many of the
00:10:43.160 Democrats commercials have you seen on TV in the last couple of months and was there even one
00:10:49.160 commercial for a Democrat in any election in America that didn't bash Donald Trump
00:10:53.940 donald trump's not running and you're if your sole purpose in congress is to push back on
00:11:02.720 donald trump when there's a lot of policies that even people who hate him should be able to
00:11:06.240 understand could be good for your municipality for example like keeping illegal aliens and
00:11:11.880 criminal illegal aliens out of the country which is good for everybody it's also really good for
00:11:16.380 local budgets you know i grew up in a time in america where crime was a bipartisan issue 0.79
00:11:23.680 And by that, I mean by that, I mean Republicans and Democrats here in New York City when I was a teenager used to fight over who was better on crime.
00:11:31.660 Now the Democrats have decided they don't want to fight crime at all.
00:11:34.980 But in those old days, the idea that there would be a federal agency that would take violent criminals off of, for example, New York City's hands, maybe even go to Rikers Island and take them out of Rikers Island and put them in a federal facility and take them off our tax rolls would have been a godsend politically.
00:11:50.700 Oh, my God, you're going to help us fight crime and literally take some of these scumbags out of the state, out of the city, and we don't even have to pay you?
00:11:58.720 You're just going to take them? 0.98
00:11:59.840 Where do we sign up?
00:12:02.500 But now you have literal Democrats who are, because they hate Donald Trump, who are not only keeping some of these people in jail, but freeing them because, well, we're sticking it to Donald Trump.
00:12:10.820 No, you're not.
00:12:11.360 You're cutting off your nose to spite your face. 0.99
00:12:13.220 and the mental illness of hating donald trump has ruined the healthy aspect of our midterm 0.99
00:12:22.880 elections which should be even more local than our presidential elections are you should be 0.67
00:12:27.000 focused on your local issues who can make your state better who can make your congressional
00:12:32.060 district better who's more qualified not who has got the nastiest snarkiest anti-trump ad 0.96
00:12:36.820 what the what the heck's the matter with you go ahead and hate Donald Trump all you want on your 0.94
00:12:43.180 own but you're going to vote for for example a crazed anti-semite in Michigan no one who's voting 0.97
00:12:49.220 for Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan is voting for him because they think he's got great policies
00:12:54.140 they're voting for him because they hate Trump and they think that a guy like that who Trump
00:12:59.140 doesn't like will make Trump feel bad it's not gonna make Trump feel bad okay he'll probably
00:13:03.180 enjoy making fun of him for the next couple of years if he's elected you're not even right on
00:13:08.360 that on that issue let alone being right for doing right for yourself in your state and i'll
00:13:13.720 talk a lot more about that election after this break but i just wanted to set this up folks
00:13:17.800 because we are dealing with midterm elections and this show should be much harder to do the
00:13:24.420 news media should be working much harder explaining each state by state the issues in those state what's
00:13:29.900 the biggest issue there instead because they're lazy and they're and they're disingenuous the
00:13:36.860 news media tries to make every midterm election but especially this one a referendum on donald
00:13:41.360 trump which is a great way to not inform the public and also a great way to contribute to the
00:13:48.580 sickness in our political culture in this country because it's sick for so many reasons
00:13:53.540 But one of the biggest reasons why is because we're moving away from, again, I have a little bit of an edit on the great Tip O'Neill quote, all politics is local.
00:14:03.580 I would say in a healthy society, all politics is local.
00:14:08.300 And right now, it's not healthy because too many people don't vote local.
00:14:13.100 That's outrageous.
00:14:16.380 Anyway, we'll talk about the Michigan race, and I'll get as local as I can about that race when we come back.
00:14:20.760 I also have some stuff about Alaska and a few other races you haven't heard about where I will also focus on some of the local issues.
00:14:27.820 I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone.
00:14:29.560 This is the Stone Zone the night before Election Day.
00:14:33.140 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:14:39.160 this is the stone zone now get in the zone it's the stone zone a man who's gone through hell
00:14:58.420 but he's kept going and he's smart and he's strong and people love him not everybody but
00:15:04.780 People love him and respect him.
00:15:06.280 Roger Stone.
00:15:07.300 Where's Roger Stone?
00:15:08.600 Here's Roger Stone.
00:15:10.980 And I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone here on the Stone Zone the night before the midterm elections.
00:15:16.180 Again, trying to make my point that you do not and should not vote in your midterm elections based on whether you like the president or not.
00:15:26.080 If you do, you're making a huge mistake, one that is not in your own self-interest.
00:15:32.040 Forget about what you think.
00:15:32.920 Oh, maybe it's good for me, but not.
00:15:34.240 it's not good for you either check your individual candidates see what their policies are if they
00:15:40.180 have any did they say anything in their ads other than i don't like trump
00:15:44.440 what what's the deal in your own state find out if there's something that's that's not working
00:15:50.640 for you why it's not working for you so let's take this michigan election which does have
00:15:55.460 tremendous national olympic implications not because of president trump and i'll explain
00:16:00.660 that in a minute, but how many people in the news media who have covered the Senate race in
00:16:05.660 Michigan between Abdul El-Sayed and Mike Rogers have actually gone into the real local issues in
00:16:11.960 Michigan for you? Probably none, except for me on the various shows I do here on this network.
00:16:19.460 So let me talk about a couple of them based on the messaging that you've heard from El-Sayed
00:16:24.560 himself and from Rogers himself. There's three issues I want to talk about real quick.
00:16:28.960 first is defense spending el saeed has said many times he's not ashamed of it that he wants to cut
00:16:37.200 u.s defense spending okay well in michigan they have something called the automotive industry
00:16:43.860 have you heard of it it's the lifeblood of michigan ford gm what's left of chrysler which
00:16:51.120 is now known as stalantis huge huge part of what michigan's all about and all three of these
00:16:57.140 companies, especially Ford and GM, are very much relying on defense spending, you guessed it,
00:17:03.760 especially in the coming years. The Defense Department under Trump, and I don't believe
00:17:08.500 that whoever takes over from Trump is going to change this policy, because as we saw with Joe
00:17:13.080 Biden, it's just about not being Trump. For example, Joe Biden, for all the crying and
00:17:18.080 moaning about the Trump tariffs, didn't touch any of the tariffs, basically. So the Defense
00:17:23.780 department has said it's going to really rely on u.s automakers now for defense manufacturing and
00:17:29.120 it hasn't decided who's going to get the contracts it hasn't decided how large it'll be and they
00:17:34.140 might end up being for example some foreign owned automotive companies that have large factories
00:17:40.000 that are just here in america they're not going to make them outside of america but this is a big
00:17:43.820 deal for gm and ford but if the defense budget is cut because of it let's say a deciding vote from
00:17:48.880 futures god forbid senator el saeed well that's a huge amount of money and jobs michigan's going 0.88
00:17:53.760 to miss out on you're going to vote for this guy in Michigan are you insane let's talk about 0.91
00:18:01.080 abortion by the way abortion is usually such a big issue in all these elections we're talking 0.96
00:18:05.640 about abortions because the Democrats for 40 years have believed that being pro-life is killing the
00:18:12.440 Republicans in all these elections so they always love to play up the fact that a particular
00:18:16.540 candidate isn't pro-choice is pro-life well first of all you got a couple of pro-choice candidates
00:18:21.900 who are Republicans who've kind of been quiet about it, which surprises me.
00:18:25.360 One of them is Bruce Blakeman, governor of New York,
00:18:27.660 where we've had pro-choice Republicans like George Pataki and Rudy Giuliani win elections.
00:18:33.080 So I was wondering why he didn't play that up more.
00:18:35.200 And Michelle Tafoya in Minnesota, running for Senate, is a Republican candidate pro-choice.
00:18:40.280 Now, Mike Rogers isn't pro-choice, but he vowed not to vote for a nationwide abortion ban
00:18:45.640 because the people of Michigan already voted against that in a referendum.
00:18:48.880 him. The El Saeed campaign continues to label him as someone who would vote for a national abortion
00:18:53.800 ban. So it got so heated that Mike Rogers put out an ad just the other day with his wife saying he
00:18:59.000 wouldn't do that, that it's a personal decision, et cetera, et cetera. So that's a big issue you
00:19:04.460 should know about if you're looking at this election in Michigan. But I'm sure you don't.
00:19:10.180 And finally, the issue of health care. Even Barack Obama came to Michigan, by the way,
00:19:14.480 incredibly in an incredibly ironic move the guy who gave us obamacare which was supposed to solve
00:19:21.400 our health care insurance and cause problems in this country literally goes to a state to say
00:19:26.720 elect another democrat to solve the health care problems i'll talk more about that in a second
00:19:32.220 but honestly these are three issues specific in this election that you probably haven't heard
00:19:37.880 about other than the national aspect of this campaign i'll talk a little bit more about that
00:19:42.140 in a moment and why actually this
00:19:44.160 election in Michigan is very important
00:19:46.000 nationally, but I want it to be local first.
00:19:48.300 We'll be right back with The Stone Zone. I'm Jake Novak
00:19:50.240 in for Roger Stone tonight.
00:19:54.040 The Stone Zone.
00:19:56.000 Entertaining and informative.
00:19:57.960 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:19:59.860 this is the stone zone now get in the zone it's the stone zone a man who's gone through hell
00:20:19.560 but he's kept going and he's smart and he's strong and people love him not everybody but
00:20:25.920 people love him and respect him roger stone where's roger stone here's roger stone and i'm
00:20:32.160 jake novak filling in for roger stone in the stone zone tonight the eve of the midterm elections
00:20:36.480 yeah just to pick up on where we left off the the absurdity of barack obama going around the
00:20:41.420 country campaigning for democrats saying they're gonna they're fighting for cheaper health care
00:20:46.000 they're gonna solve the health care problem this is the man via obamacare who was supposedly the
00:20:51.160 guy who saved who fixed the problem he fixed him so how come it how can we still have this huge
00:20:57.200 health care we have higher health care costs than ever mr former president now some of you listening
00:21:03.540 might say like well the republicans attacked it they didn't uh allow the bill to do what it was
00:21:08.940 supposed to do etc okay well then he either failed to pass a bill that actually did what he said it
00:21:14.320 was going to do or failed to pass a bill that would be immune from little attacks here and there
00:21:19.820 in other words he failed and the democrats failed all the democrats voted for this
00:21:25.560 he's out there in michigan obama is uh campaigning for el saeed uh not this weekend but the weekend
00:21:32.080 before saying they're voting for change change what they haven't had a republican senator from
00:21:37.260 michigan in a long time i mean the fact that you can go and campaign with someone from the incumbent 0.88
00:21:42.320 party and say this is the change so what is it is it because your party has sucked so far so much
00:21:47.460 or you're pretending that this is not the same the same party it's just incredible it's incredible
00:21:52.280 how no one questions this forget about getting deeper into the stuff or getting personal let's
00:21:58.200 just talk about basic logic and rhetoric which they don't have listen politics and logic and
00:22:04.460 politics and good rhetoric don't go together okay they don't you i i understand that but
00:22:09.020 really what an egregious joke now i could talk about a lot of other local issues in michigan
00:22:16.380 But let me, in this case, talk about why there is national importance to this.
00:22:20.720 I don't think that anyone voting in Michigan should be voting with the nation in mind.
00:22:25.520 Keep your local issues in your mind.
00:22:27.200 But let's talk about the rest of us who don't live in Michigan and why we need to understand why this is indeed the most important election of all the midterms tomorrow.
00:22:35.560 There's a lot of other ones.
00:22:37.000 And I don't mean most important for you and your local issue.
00:22:39.180 I mean most important for our national identity as a country and a culture.
00:22:42.540 europe since the mid 1870s has had anti-semitic political parties not parties that were just a
00:22:55.660 little bit more anti-semitic parties that had anti-semitism as their central as one of their
00:23:00.080 central planks if not their central plank you all know about the nazis but the nazis were um
00:23:05.680 there were parties well before the nazis 60 years before the nazis almost that had nazi-like
00:23:12.980 ideologies and central planks that were anti-semitic started in germany which probably
00:23:18.240 doesn't surprise you but they were in other countries as well so i'm talking about something
00:23:23.260 that has been a fact of life in europe for over 150 years here in the united states despite the
00:23:30.320 fact that we have had individual anti-Semitic politicians from time to time. We have never had
00:23:36.840 an anti-Semitic political party nationally. We've never had one. Never had one that had an official
00:23:42.260 anti-Semitic plank in its platform, the whole thing. Thank God. We've been immune to it. 0.98
00:23:47.300 But here's why there is a national importance for the rest of us watching this Michigan election
00:23:51.340 to this election. If Abdul El-Sayed wins this Senate election tomorrow in Michigan,
00:23:57.940 the democratic party will officially become an anti-semitic party not because i say so
00:24:03.580 but because they will say so they will absolutely chalk up this victory maybe privately at first
00:24:09.600 but i don't even think they'll be private at first but certainly eventually they will publicly
00:24:13.220 basically chalk it up to the fact that they had an anti-semitic candidate in there who made israel
00:24:18.680 the scapegoat for all the problems in the world and they will say this is the winning ticket this
00:24:22.840 is what we've been missing this is what we didn't do in 2024 and in 2016 and now we're going to do
00:24:28.920 it and it'll be very difficult to excise that from that party ever again what an ignominious thing
00:24:35.080 for ignominious thing for and that means disgraceful embarrassing what a thing for a
00:24:39.740 party that once was the standard bearer for slavery in this country and i know there's a
00:24:43.800 lot of republicans that like to go around and say oh the democrats that's the party of slavery
00:24:46.840 it's kind of a low blow i mean it's been a long time right since slavery has been a fact of life
00:24:51.480 in this country but if i were a democrat i would think about maybe changing the name of the party
00:24:57.040 why didn't they change their name to the new democrat party or something like that just to
00:25:01.140 disassociate themselves from the old pro-slavery democrats during the during the the years leading
00:25:07.680 up to the civil war that's another discussion but you have to understand why this is so important
00:25:14.700 it's not because i'm just because i'm jewish and i don't want to see an anti-semitic party
00:25:18.140 Although you don't have to be Jewish not to want that. You should not want that if you have even the smallest modicum of historical intelligence and education. Because every nation that has openly embraced anti-Semitism has gone into the ash can of history. It's a real, real red flag, to say the least.
00:25:39.760 they're lousy places to be
00:25:44.040 and that's not what we want in this country
00:25:48.200 for so many reasons
00:25:49.020 now one of the people who recognized that over the weekend
00:25:51.760 was Haley Stevens 0.99
00:25:52.560 and Haley Stevens is being attacked for
00:25:57.060 deciding to endorse Mike Rogers
00:25:59.720 and she made it pretty clear why she did this
00:26:01.660 it was one of those things that you could tell
00:26:05.080 wasn't drafted by a political consultant
00:26:06.780 she just said it because it was just so normal
00:26:08.980 and she just came out and said like listen i endorsed elsaid after i lost him in the primary
00:26:13.300 i was okay to go with that i was just going to kind of quietly live my life and not really be
00:26:18.140 that active for him but i did my job and then she said but then these ads came out blaming
00:26:22.180 everything on the jews and i just i can't continue to support a guy like that well duh
00:26:27.380 and hayley stevens isn't jewish she's not a puppet of the jews or israel stop with that nonsense
00:26:33.420 and and sure enough the first person to heckle her today in person over this decision
00:26:39.380 was an anti-semite this is cut to this is hailey stevens handling this person pretty well listen
00:26:44.880 did you have some questions or who i was just wondering like yeah how do you continue to
00:26:49.480 support the bombing of children even now during the search fire look sir i'm not going to be
00:26:54.260 intimidated by you oh i support a two-state solution support genocide no i don't there's
00:26:59.040 there's literally no genocide going on there's literally no genocide you don't care about 0.97
00:27:03.300 that and the cleansing you don't care about women being raped men being raped there's no genocide
00:27:07.400 about dogs being used there's there's no genocide going on there is no genocide going on yeah by 0.52
00:27:13.100 the way that's the way you should handle it that's the way you should handle it whenever
00:27:16.620 anyone says there's there is no genocide if they two plus two equals five two plus two equals five
00:27:21.720 just say no it doesn't no it doesn't no it doesn't there is no genocide in gaza there's an attempted
00:27:26.900 genocide by the hamas people against jews and their own people who don't support them that's
00:27:31.360 true but they failed at that sadly they're working real hard on it but when people say that like they 0.91
00:27:38.200 think they got you trumped oh i got you now there is no genocide the arab population since the state
00:27:43.880 of israel has quadruple quintile it's got it's more than i think it's like a thousand times larger
00:27:48.360 it's outrageous it's just it's it's if you say there's a genocide even now even since the war
00:27:53.620 in Gaza, there's been an increase in the Arab population overall in what is now Israel and the
00:27:59.380 territories. You're saying two plus two is five. You're a moron. You're either a moron, a liar,
00:28:04.680 and you're probably evil. And I don't care how many times you say two plus two is five in my 1.00
00:28:09.180 face, sir. There is no genocide. It is not two plus two equals five. And that's what she did.
00:28:15.080 Good for her. Good for her. Now, here's another amazing soundbite you got to hear.
00:28:21.660 in a case of somebody not really understanding how to challenge someone who doesn't answer a
00:28:27.840 question properly this is abdul el saeed on 60 minutes last night this is cut three listen to
00:28:34.200 how he says it's okay to have men in girls locker rooms listen to this what happens with transgender
00:28:40.080 kids on sports teams and so on right like these are places where rights are in conflict right do 0.90
00:28:46.520 you what do you think happens i don't know that that's actually true i think we manufacture these
00:28:50.960 social issues. Because here's the thing about it. Ross, you have an iPhone in your pocket probably,
00:28:54.300 or is it an iPhone or a Samsung? You have a phone in your pocket, right? You can get access
00:28:58.200 to everything and anything in the whole world, all the world's information in your pocket.
00:29:02.700 The notion somehow that you are going to prevent your child from being exposed to something
00:29:07.160 that you may find disagreeable and that that is going to be because of school is so profoundly
00:29:14.160 outdated. Because of course, you have all the information and they have all the information.
00:29:18.480 So here's the thing about it.
00:29:20.040 I think it's really important for us to recognize that the free flow of information is actually a beautiful thing.
00:29:25.260 It's really important.
00:29:26.640 And the most important thing you can do is not try to protect a person from seeing a thing.
00:29:31.220 It's about trying to make sure that as you coach your kid through the world, that you are engaging with them and saying, here's what I believe.
00:29:38.380 Here's what you may see in the world.
00:29:40.320 You get to make your choices about who you're going to be in the world.
00:29:43.700 But that's going to require us to make do.
00:29:46.620 what a dope and i mean that of both of the people in that conversation
00:29:51.480 yeah i understand that my children when they were younger could have seen something online
00:29:58.700 like that like a naked man and do that easily where is this reporter ross do that this uh
00:30:06.220 court you know who's supposed to be so smart he's the smart religious guy from the times
00:30:11.660 And now he's at 60. Where is he to say the obvious? Sir, there's a difference between a picture your kid sees on the phone and an actual naked man standing three feet from their face. You incredible ignoramus. Or you incredible liar. A lot of times these days, I can't tell the difference.
00:30:30.280 20 years ago, when someone said something really, really stupid, I could be really, really, really secure in knowing they were just stupid or uneducated. 1.00
00:30:36.700 Now I think people just push stupidity because they're disingenuous liars. 1.00
00:30:44.480 And Abdul El-Sayed is supposedly a devout Muslim. 1.00
00:30:47.560 I promise you he's not going to – he does not want men, naked men, in front of his children, whether they're boys or girls. 0.94
00:30:58.280 What an incredible fraud.
00:31:00.280 Yeah, I'm not happy about the fact that maybe my kids saw a lot of things that were inappropriate on a computer screen.
00:31:08.240 But that's a heck of a lot better than the actual real thing being five feet from their face. 1.00
00:31:12.560 What kind of stupidity is this? 0.99
00:31:14.520 Well, I mean, are we literally going to have interviews one day where, you know, maybe someday soon where a candidate says, like, well, you know, I don't think you should wash your hands after you use the bathroom. 1.00
00:31:23.240 It's like, you're going to be exposed to those germs anyway.
00:31:26.460 So why bother?
00:31:27.620 And is the interviewer going to say, like, oh, good point. 0.92
00:31:31.120 When I was working in local news, and one of the reasons why I left local news, I was in it for six years, is we put so much stupidity on the air that at least was the right answer to things. 0.84
00:31:40.280 We would literally put stories on the air about why you need to wash your hands after the bathroom. 0.98
00:31:44.220 I kid you not.
00:31:45.500 But at least that was the correct advice, even though I was thinking to myself, like, oh, my God, do I really need to produce a story telling people to wash their hands after the bathroom?
00:31:54.800 But I guess I do.
00:31:55.840 And I thought to myself, I got to get out of this part of the news.
00:31:57.800 I got to do something different.
00:31:58.800 So I got into financial news and national news.
00:32:02.720 But now they're going to do stories that say you shouldn't wash your hands because, you know, they're paid off by a bunch of anti-American, anti-human forces that float stories like this.
00:32:15.160 I mean, in Michigan or anywhere else, you're going to vote for someone who says, well, it's OK to have a naked man in front of my little minor girl in a locker room because she'll see the same thing on the Internet.
00:32:26.080 What? 1.00
00:32:28.800 I don't have a problem with my daughter seeing the male anatomy.
00:32:33.420 It's part of health and it's part of life.
00:32:36.100 It's natural, especially if she's doing it in a science class or something like that.
00:32:40.440 I'm not trying to stop her from seeing that.
00:32:43.600 But when she was under 18, when both of my daughters were under 18, no, I didn't want a naked man in front of them in a locker room.
00:32:49.860 What's the matter with you?
00:32:52.920 What is the matter with people who think that this guy should be working even as a dog catcher?
00:32:57.720 what on earth is the matter with you and what's what on earth is the matter with someone who does
00:33:03.960 an interview who's just so flaccid in his interview style that he doesn't interrupt him by the way
00:33:08.440 and say no sir i you know let me just make sure you're saying i'm not talking about seeing
00:33:12.820 something in a picture i'm talking about someone literally standing in front of their their face
00:33:16.860 in lot in real life irl you know it was that that you know listen you don't want to be too
00:33:23.160 interrupting of your interview subjects but you know you got to do it sometimes when they're
00:33:26.460 when they give a response like that, what the heck is the matter with these people?
00:33:31.300 My God. My God.
00:33:36.840 But getting back to the national ramifications of this race,
00:33:42.140 I'm telling you right now that if El Saeed wins, the Democrats will publicly,
00:33:47.520 they're not going to keep it a secret because for a long time they've been keeping it a secret.
00:33:50.460 Yeah, we want to get much more anti-Israel. We want to make Jews scapegoats. 0.97
00:33:54.280 We're going to see what we can do about that. 0.99
00:33:56.460 And shamefully, too many elected Democrats like Chuck Schumer have played along with this, thinking that, you know, they'll kill me last.
00:34:02.820 I'll go along.
00:34:05.320 But they've been trying to be a little bit tongue-in-cheek about it or a little bit cagey about it.
00:34:10.080 They won't be cagey anymore if El Saeed wins tomorrow.
00:34:14.460 It'll be the first thing that they talk about. 0.85
00:34:16.300 It'll become a Momdani Democrat Party. 0.91
00:34:20.400 Because remember, the first thing that Mayor Mamdani did here in New York was to rescind the order that protected Jewish synagogues from being protested within a few feet of the doors of the synagogues. 0.96
00:34:31.540 That was the first thing he did.
00:34:32.580 It wasn't the second thing.
00:34:33.620 It wasn't like, oh, after I do some things.
00:34:35.760 No, that was the first thing.
00:34:38.240 This will be a full-on anti-Semitic party. 0.87
00:34:40.820 They will be proud of it, and they will cultivate it even further if he wins. 0.99
00:34:44.920 they might do it even if he loses
00:34:47.140 but definitely if he wins
00:34:49.580 and that's why this is so important
00:34:53.060 maybe you don't even like Jews
00:34:55.080 okay fine
00:34:55.660 but you have to understand
00:34:56.560 that any nation
00:34:57.460 that's embraced anti-semitism
00:34:59.740 in an official capacity 0.98
00:35:00.840 has gone into the garbage real fast
00:35:03.020 real fast
00:35:05.820 and I'll give you some of the highlights
00:35:09.800 how long after the expulsion
00:35:12.400 of the Jews from Spain in 1492
00:35:14.160 did Spain cease to become a world power 19 years later Spanish Armada didn't take long
00:35:21.120 suddenly Spain became a secondary nation czarist Russia which had all the natural resources and
00:35:29.480 could have done it officially embraced anti-semitism it failed then the Soviet 0.57
00:35:34.040 government had it as an official policy it failed Nazi Germany obviously was kind of like a a meth
00:35:41.980 high 12 years of a powerful uh military fascist uh fascist uh society and then it flamed out big
00:35:50.400 time boy did it flame out a lot of a lot of people died in germany they didn't have the atomic bomb
00:35:54.900 hit them like japan but look up dresden one day all right i'm going to talk a little bit about
00:36:00.920 alaska when we come back because that's also important stuff for you to know about this is
00:36:04.980 jake novak filling in for roger stone on the stone zone the stone zone entertaining and informative
00:36:11.460 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:36:24.980 This is the Stone Zone.
00:36:27.480 Now, get in the zone.
00:36:29.400 It's the Stone Zone.
00:36:31.380 A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going, and he's smart, and he's strong, and people love him.
00:36:38.320 Not everybody, but people love him and respect him.
00:36:40.840 roger stone where's roger stone here's roger stone and i'm jake novak in for roger stone
00:36:47.240 last few minutes here on the stone zone the night before election day uh all 50 states have some
00:36:52.780 kind of an election going on some are bigger than others but um this is one of those years where
00:36:57.440 there's a lot of governorships up for grabs so it's really a bigger midterm election than for
00:37:02.560 example four years ago um where you'd had i think slightly fewer senate seats uh up you know because
00:37:09.640 it's a 100-seat Senate that we have, for those of you who don't know. So every two years,
00:37:16.000 it can't be 33. And one of those years, it's got to be 34, right? Because just for math purposes.
00:37:22.520 So anyway, it's a bigger year than in the past. And a number of states and a number of elections
00:37:27.380 that are toss-ups. That's another reason why it's a big deal. I wanted to spend just a couple of
00:37:32.500 minutes talking about what's going on in Alaska. You've heard so much about it from me and others
00:37:36.360 on this station and others over the last couple of days but it's also an important national election
00:37:42.660 just because we're watching it nationally again the people of alaska i urge you to look at your
00:37:46.420 issues i don't know how anyone in alaska can ever vote for a democrat when the oil industry
00:37:51.620 is so important to that state and you have a democrat party that's very much against it
00:37:57.460 and i would like to see petroleum get phased out as our number one fuel source as much as anybody
00:38:03.220 I really do. But until then, we can't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Did you ever live with someone, maybe have a spouse who used to like, while you were in the shower, take the towels and put them in the wash and then not replace it? That's kind of like what the Democrats want to do with oil. Go ahead and replace the oil, but don't do it while we need it. Okay? And replace it with something viable, which they haven't been able to do, although we do have a lot of other options now, which can reduce the burden. Whatever, you know the story.
00:38:31.720 Anyway, but the issue in Alaska is not that, unfortunately. It's this fraudulent campaign that the Democrats are running. And I say that now without saying the word allegedly because it was the Democrats controlled on paper in The New York Times, which exposed it, which just goes to show how egregious the process was.
00:38:46.920 I hope you got a chance to read the story. It included allegations or basically depictions of members of Mary Peltola, the Democrat nominee for senator in Alaska, her staff going to bars and taverns, asking if they knew anyone named Dan Sullivan, literally recruiting someone with the same name.
00:39:04.920 so um and everything else like that and now we can't find this phony dan sullivan we can't even
00:39:12.900 find him the feds have gone and looked for his you know and talked to his donors they did find them
00:39:18.440 and mary peltola is still even though alaska is a small state but population wise it's the largest 0.92
00:39:24.380 state geographically even though she has a small staff here she is denying any knowledge of
00:39:29.320 anything going on here and it's not plausible cut six if there does prove to be any sort of
00:39:34.280 trickery that either the federal or state government finds from a former member of your
00:39:37.920 campaign what do you recommend the government ultimately does with that information well we'll
00:39:43.400 have to see when we cross that bridge i know there's this just that all this information just
00:39:49.060 came out it's as new to me as it is to you and so we're all trying to figure out what happened and
00:39:54.680 where we go from here and finally yeah that does not it's not a plausible answer if her chief of
