00:00:00.000 we were casting about for a video montage of clips that best sum up the force and the amount
00:00:18.720 of institutional lying we in this country have endured over the past three or four years and
00:00:23.880 there were so many to choose from but in the end we settled on this because it summed it up pretty
00:00:28.180 nicely watch so there's no excuse no excuse for anyone being unvaccinated this continues to be a
00:00:36.240 pandemic of the unvaccinated a pandemic and an outbreak of the unvaccinated this is really
00:00:42.480 becoming a pandemic of the unvaccinated this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated this is becoming a
00:00:50.160 pandemic of the unvaccinated this is now a pandemic of the unvaccinated a pandemic of the unvaccinated
00:00:57.060 This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.
00:01:01.760 So again, we could have chose many different topics to remind you of how much lying you have had to live through over the past several years.
00:01:11.760 That just seemed like the most obvious and in some ways the most hilarious.
00:01:14.760 But what's really interesting about it is how the people around you responded.
00:01:19.340 A very large percentage knew it was false because the evidence suggests overwhelmingly that it was, but went along with it anyway on the grounds that it's not even worth fighting back against people that powerful.
00:01:31.700 So I'll sort of go along with it.
00:01:32.860 Some smaller percentage actually believed it and you learn something very sad about them, which is that they're credulous, in some cases not super geniuses.
00:01:40.360 But there wasn't even smaller percentage who decided, well, wait a second.
00:01:43.740 No, that's not true.
00:01:44.440 And you can't make me say it's true.
00:01:46.080 Under no circumstances will I knowingly lie because it's immoral and it diminishes me.
00:01:54.140 And by repeating your lies, I reveal myself not as a free person or a citizen, but as a slave.
00:01:58.500 And I'm not going to do that, period.
00:02:00.640 And it was watching those people emerge from the most unlikely places in many cases that was the thrill and has been the ongoing thrill and joy of living in this otherwise very sad moment.
00:02:10.720 And one of the people we watched do that was someone, to be honest, didn't expect to see, but not only did it, but kept doing it to a lot of abuse.
00:02:21.880 And that was Naomi Wolf, who's been in the public sphere for 35 years anyway, writing and commenting on various things.
00:02:28.760 And she's one of the people who decided, you know, I'm not going to say something I think is not true, period.
00:02:31.920 And so she's lived the last few years of her life like that.
00:02:35.260 And she's the author of a new book about what that experience is like and has been liked.
00:02:39.880 It's called Facing the Beast, Courage, Faith, and Resistance in a New Dark Age.
00:02:44.560 What kind of sums it up?
00:02:45.600 And we are honored to have her here in the studio.
00:02:47.480 Naomi Wolf, thank you so much for coming.
00:02:49.420 So what's so interesting, as I said, is the effect that this moment, and it's not just a public health story, I don't think, but this moment of lying has had on certain people.
00:03:02.780 So can you just tell us in broad terms when you started to realize this was happening, what effect it had on you and what your life has been like since?
00:03:12.260 Sure.
00:03:12.940 Thank you for that kind introduction.
00:03:14.420 Well, of course, heartfelt.
00:03:15.620 Thank you.
00:03:16.060 Well, I realized the whole culture was lying by about July of 2020 because luckily for me, I'd written a book called The End of America in 2007 during the Bush Jr. era.
00:03:33.160 Which, by the way, admission, I never even considered reading that book because I was like, Naomi Wolf's on the other side.
00:03:39.420 This is probably stupid.
00:03:41.000 And it just shows how stupid I was.
00:03:43.440 Anyway, sorry, I just wanted to admit that.
00:03:44.440 No, it's like we were all wearing blinders about ideology at that time and probably till recently.
00:03:49.960 But the reason it was lucky that I had gone through that is that I had looked for my research for that book at times and places throughout history where a fragile democracy had been undermined and there had been a coup.
00:04:04.380 So essentially, whether by fascist forces on the right or totalitarian forces on the left, I learned that tyrants always do the same 10 things.
00:04:14.080 They took 10 steps to closing an open society.
00:04:17.020 So from having done that research, I saw quickly when Governor Cuomo announced that we couldn't meet with more than six people at once in our homes in New York State and, you know, we couldn't assemble to pray.
00:04:29.900 I realized we were at step 10, which is martial law, it's emergency law, it's the last step.
00:04:35.000 We're already at step 10.
00:04:36.460 We're already at step 10.
00:04:37.060 They fast forwarded, they jumped over all the other nine steps.
00:04:39.960 And I realized how dangerous that was, because once you have emergency law, anything can happen.
00:04:46.540 And then when I realized that I personally was being, I don't know, damaged by powerful forces for not lying, that was a year later, pretty much in June of 2021, when I was doing what I've done for 35 years, which is reporting on a woman's health issue.
00:05:07.660 Yeah, I've written three bestsellers about women's sexual and reproductive health.
00:05:11.500 It's not a new beat for me.
00:05:13.180 No, no.
00:05:14.140 And so I was reporting on Twitter that women were reporting eyewitness accounts of themselves, that they were having menstrual dysregulation or symptoms upon receiving the mRNA injection, which had at that point rolled out.
00:05:27.080 And I literally just accurately reported this and said something like it bears more investigation.
00:05:31.620 And I was overnight, all at once, it was very extraordinary, deplatformed from Twitter, from Facebook, from YouTube, but also all the newspapers and news outlets where I'd been a commentator or columnist for 35 years, ran pieces smearing me and saying I was spreading misinformation.
00:05:52.260 And I was an anti-vaxxer and my Wikipedia page changed overnight, which I now understand better because I didn't understand the role of AI at that point in journalism.
00:06:03.100 And basically, I became a non-person on the left.
00:06:06.020 I was kicked out overnight from my comfortable perch, you know, in the liberal elite media.
00:06:12.920 That turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
00:06:15.660 You've been occupied since like the early 90s, late 80s.
00:06:18.420 I mean, I remember very well.
00:06:19.680 Yes, no, it had been, I'd been like, I don't know if you can say you, you know, I'd been a fixture of that world.
00:06:28.100 Oh, you were a lifetime member.
00:06:29.400 There's no matter.
00:06:29.780 Yeah, no, I got it.
00:06:30.780 I knew where I was.
00:06:31.920 I agree with you.
00:06:33.480 And so that was extraordinary because people who had sought me out for my opinion wouldn't, you know, wouldn't even not take my calls.
00:06:43.720 They were like just shredding my reputation.
00:06:47.540 I was.
00:06:48.020 People you knew?
00:06:48.740 Yeah, people I knew, colleagues, friends.
00:06:52.200 I mean, it was wholesale because not only had I done the bad thing of questioning the vaccines or just reporting on accurately on a real symptom, which turns out to be a very important symptom.
00:07:05.680 Because if you've got menstrual dysregulation in 2021, you're going to have what we now have, which is a 13 to 20% drop in live births, according to government databases throughout the West in 2023 and 2024.
00:07:19.140 But I did the bad thing of talking to conservatives.
00:07:22.600 Because after I got kicked out of the liberal elite media, interestingly, very interestingly to me, the people who did want to hear what I had to say because they cared about women and babies and families were conservatives.
00:07:36.040 And so Steve Bannon had me on his show.
00:07:38.900 And I was very happy to speak to him because this was a very important problem that women were facing.
00:07:45.500 And, of course, you're not allowed to speak to Steve Bannon.
00:07:48.720 I talked to you in 2021.
00:07:50.240 And Media Matters went, you know, full on attack because I talked to you about this very important problem affecting women and babies.
00:07:59.380 And it was just surreal to me that people who purported to be feminists and egalitarians and to care about women, you know, were very happy to throw this whole issue under the bus.
00:08:12.380 If you kind of cross this red line that society had erected kind of overnight where, you know, there were things you're not supposed to question people you're not supposed to talk to.
00:08:22.520 How shocked were you by this?
00:08:24.220 I was very shocked.
00:08:25.620 I mean, I knew that my side had become increasingly ideologically rigid and extreme and irrational in some ways.
00:08:36.380 Like I saw the kind of mission creep of from liberalism to, you know, kind of wokeism.
00:08:42.860 I mean, I hate that phrase, but there's no other there's no better phrase.
00:08:46.620 But I still thought, you know, we talk about this from time to time.
00:08:52.040 You and I have a chance to talk.
00:08:53.540 It's like I still thought that world existed in which if you're in the news business, you report facts, you know, and and if you're in the media, you can have opinions.
00:09:05.820 And that that world was gone.
00:09:09.080 And we were living in kind of a Stalinist reality very quickly.
00:09:13.380 What did that do to your personal life?
00:09:15.640 Because obviously nothing, you know, we didn't live in a country this politically charged or polarized 10 years ago.
00:09:22.300 It was still political.
00:09:23.580 And if you were identified with the left, most of your friends were on the left.
00:09:27.140 And I mean, it was still it was that way in the 90s, I remember.
00:09:29.940 So did this mean the end of your personal relationships?
00:09:34.660 A lot of them, sadly.
00:09:36.680 I mean, I'm very lucky that I have a husband who is very courageous.
00:09:42.460 And he's also a soldier.
00:09:44.280 He's been in, you know, he's he's a veteran.
00:09:48.160 And he's been in a lot of scary situations.
00:09:50.140 And so he understood very early on that this was a war.
00:09:53.940 And because he studies China, he understood that, you know, there were forces that were trying to subvert our country in nonconventional ways.
00:10:04.860 And that helped me because it gave me a frame to to understand what was happening.
00:10:11.000 But it was incredibly painful.
00:10:13.400 One of my best friends left the country without saying goodbye because she was disappointed in my position on vaccines.
00:10:20.320 Literally, my position was, here are some facts that are emerging.
00:10:24.360 It's like that was my position.
00:10:26.640 Let's see my my you know, we were not invited to Thanksgiving's.
00:10:30.700 We had a Christmas of 2021.
00:10:33.740 Maybe it was 2022.
00:10:35.460 President Biden gave his famous.
00:10:38.180 It's going to be a winter of severe disease and death.
00:10:41.680 For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death for unvaccinated.
00:10:48.400 For themselves, their families and the hospitals, they'll soon overwhelm.
00:10:52.600 And we had a Christmas vacation with a lot of loved ones planned.
00:10:57.420 And it all got canceled, you know, because everyone was in a state of fear because, you know,
00:11:03.900 the president on down was saying at that point that, you know, unvaccinated people, let alone people who are trying to warn people about some of the side effects that were emerging were dangerous dissidents who were carrying plague.
00:11:18.860 And no amount of of reason would would break through.
00:11:22.680 But, yeah, I there were a lot of very painful endings of friendships.
00:11:29.920 And as I wrote in Facing the Beast, it wasn't just on the kind of rejecting side.
00:11:36.160 Right.
00:11:36.540 I wasn't just on the receiving end.
00:11:37.740 And I was witnessing the creation overnight, especially by 2021, 2022 in New York City, where most of my friendships were and most of my colleagues were, but also in Washington.
00:11:51.820 The creation of a two-tier society exactly along the same lines as a Jim Crow society or, you know, during the occupation in France when Jews couldn't go certain places.
00:12:02.580 Or a Stalinist society.
00:12:03.420 Exactly.
00:12:04.380 And and all these people who were so right on, who were leaders in the feminist movement, you know, who would never discriminate against people of color or against people in the LGBTQ community.
00:12:18.620 Who opposed discrimination, embraced discrimination.
00:12:23.620 They were fine with it.
00:12:24.980 They were fine with a city, the greatest city on Earth, the most diverse city on Earth, you know, famous melting pot city, New York City.
00:12:32.220 They were fine with a situation in which unvaccinated people had to eat in the street like animals.
00:12:37.960 I could not walk into a restaurant with my family and they were fine with it.
00:12:42.200 And then having, you know, Uber Eats delivery men of color brave, brave, brave the pandemic to bring them sushi like that's right.
00:12:51.760 They didn't see any they were not ashamed.
00:12:54.600 They were not ashamed of massive discrimination.
00:12:57.320 They were I mean, I remember going to a big rally, one of the earliest ones in New York City on behalf of first responders who were being fired because they would not take these mandated totally experimental injections whose trials were still underway till 2023.
00:13:18.300 Right.
00:13:18.460 This was 2021.
00:13:19.960 And there was no evidence that they were safe.
00:13:22.400 They were experimental.
00:13:23.420 It was an emergency use authorization.
00:13:24.820 They had not gone through the normal FDA approval process.
00:13:29.300 And reasonably enough, some firefighters and police officers and emergency health care workers didn't want to be the guinea pigs and they were being fired.
00:13:40.340 Their kids had no, you know, food to eat.
00:13:43.340 They didn't know how they would pay their mortgages.
00:13:44.980 And I remember going down to speak at this event and I looked out over the sea of New York City firefighters and police officers and people who come and save you when you've got a heart attack, you know, EMT responders.
00:13:57.980 And I was like, where are my where's where where is everyone from my world?
00:14:04.980 They're all supposed to be here.
00:14:06.380 These people help them.
00:14:08.420 You know, no one showed up.
00:14:09.780 All the good liberals were fine having the police officers and the firefighters who would save them if they were being robbed or their house was on fire or their kids were in a burning building.
00:14:21.300 These guys and girls would run in to save their children.
00:14:25.000 My peers were fine letting this be done to them.
00:14:29.200 And it was so elitist and so disgusting.
00:14:32.980 So your mind must have exploded.
00:14:35.460 It was so hard to process.
00:14:38.420 And it wasn't just like a handful.
00:14:40.200 It was en masse.
00:14:41.140 It was like everyone was in a cult.
00:14:43.040 And it was a cult of in which they were abandoning all the ideals that they had professed and that I admired.
00:14:51.580 Why I was a liberal is we don't do things like that.
00:14:54.960 You know, we don't sacrifice whole classes of people.
00:14:57.300 But I guess we did.
00:14:58.280 Hillsdale College offers many great free online courses, including a recent one on Marxism, Socialism, and Communism.
00:15:10.320 Today, Marxism goes by different names to make itself seem less dangerous.
00:15:14.700 Names like Critical Race Theory, Gender Theory, and Decolonization.
00:15:18.900 No matter the names, this online course shows it's the same Marxism that works to destroy private property
00:15:24.300 and that will lead to famines, show trials, and gulags.

00:15:38.920 It's the heart of America
00:15:42.040 The Heart of America by Sycamore
00:15:45.340 On Apple, Spotify, and devices near you
00:15:48.580 Baby, now this is the time
00:15:52.300 To leave our differences behind
00:15:56.580 And show the heart
00:16:01.260 Of America
00:16:05.140 Why do you think you were in the tiny percentage who wouldn't go along with it?
00:16:20.520 That's a hard question
00:16:22.360 I mean, I guess
00:16:25.560 Well, I've never gone along with anything
00:16:28.160 You know, that shouldn't be gone along
00:16:30.280 I know the feeling
00:16:32.660 But I guess I'm lucky
00:16:35.560 So you didn't get that far in the Girl Scouts is what you're saying
00:16:37.080 I don't think they would have had me
00:16:38.920 But I think I'm lucky for a few reasons
00:16:42.300 Well, I mentioned how great it was
00:16:45.320 Like a lot of marriages ended during this time
00:16:47.520 You know, I had someone beside me who
00:16:49.340 Yes, amen
00:16:50.480 I know, I'm so, so lucky
00:16:52.560 Yeah, we're very lucky
00:16:53.600 But also my grandmother
00:16:56.460 Faye Goldman
00:16:57.680 Wherever she is
00:16:59.540 Bless her
00:17:00.160 She was an absolute
00:17:03.340 She believed in this country
00:17:05.700 She was a patriot
00:17:07.440 And her mom was, you know
00:17:10.280 A 16-year-old Russian immigrant
00:17:13.080 And, you know, I'm the daughter and granddaughter of immigrants
00:17:15.980 And she just fiercely believed in this country
00:17:19.040 And she didn't put up with bullies
00:17:22.540 And so I guess she just raised me to be aware
00:17:26.500 Of when this country was veering away
00:17:28.660 From freedoms of speech
00:17:30.480 Or, you know, democracy
00:17:32.660 Liberty
00:17:34.020 That's what, you know
00:17:36.080 My family had fled the czars
00:17:38.500 And, you know, fled Germany
00:17:41.360 On the other side of the family
00:17:42.340 To escape
00:17:43.400 So I recognized it, you know
00:17:45.260 The stench of it
00:17:46.680 The stench of fascism and totalitarianism
00:17:49.040 But you share that with
00:17:51.320 Probably five dozen other people I know
00:17:54.240 Almost that exact family story
00:17:56.140 In a history of principled non-conformism
00:17:59.160 Which I have always admired
00:18:00.420 And none of them went
00:18:02.700 To the first responders protest
00:18:04.400 So it does
00:18:05.740 No, I'm not attacking them
00:18:06.660 I'm just, but it is interesting that
00:18:08.080 It still doesn't quite explain
00:18:10.220 Why you wound up on
00:18:11.180 In the place that you did
00:18:13.320 I understand
00:18:14.900 That I'm
00:18:16.540 Believing in and behaving
00:18:19.600 According to values
00:18:20.440 I've always had
00:18:21.220 I don't understand
00:18:22.540 Why people around me
00:18:23.500 Who professed the same values
00:18:25.040 Yes
00:18:25.340 Turned all at once
00:18:28.000 I mean, they were being
00:18:28.840 Heavily propagandized
00:18:30.240 Yes
00:18:30.740 You know
00:18:31.100 But these are
00:18:32.180 I mean, how honest
00:18:33.180 You want to be
00:18:33.520 These are smart people
00:18:34.420 I know
00:18:34.860 You know what I mean?
00:18:35.800 And they're certainly
00:18:36.440 Well-educated people
00:18:37.500 I know
00:18:37.820 I know
00:18:38.320 I know
00:18:38.880 I know
00:18:39.780 I can't explain it
00:18:41.600 I mean, you know
00:18:42.820 You, I'm sure, are aware of
00:18:44.480 Dr. Michael Nell's book
00:18:46.080 Yeah
00:18:46.320 The Indoctrinated Brain
00:18:47.320 And I think some of it is
00:18:50.580 You know, I can only speculate, Tucker
00:18:53.740 But people were isolated
00:18:56.440 And as I wrote in my last book
00:18:59.620 The Bodies of Others
00:19:00.400 Isolation is a way to break down prisoners
00:19:03.700 And it's a form of torture
00:19:05.700 And it changes the brain
00:19:07.600 And so people who were isolated
00:19:09.660 And being propagandized non-stop
00:19:12.560 That, you know, we're the ones endangering everyone
00:19:16.440 Or those first responders who won't get vaccinated
00:19:18.220 They're the ones endangering everyone
00:19:19.880 They believed that you should fire the first responders
00:19:23.260 Because they're endangering everyone
00:19:24.240 You know, everyone was lying at that point
00:19:27.200 From the top down
00:19:28.180 The CDC was implying or stating
00:19:30.880 That vaccination stops infection
00:19:33.280 Rachel Maddow said that, you know
00:19:35.700 The virus stops when you're vaccinated
00:19:37.600 As I recall
00:19:38.360 I mean, I don't have her exact words in front of me
00:19:40.360 The president was saying
00:19:41.420 If you get vaccinated, it stops the virus
00:19:44.240 All the language implied that we were the ones
00:19:47.600 Endangering everyone
00:19:49.080 Endangering children
00:19:50.000 Endangering grandma
00:19:50.920 So it's a very demonic set of lies, Tucker
00:19:54.700 Because people who, you know
00:19:58.100 Threw the first responders and firefighters
00:20:01.300 And police officers under the bus
00:20:03.160 Or the soldiers and the sailors
00:20:04.500 Did so believing that we were the ones harming society
00:20:09.220 And that they were being good
00:20:10.580 And that also by submitting themselves to these injections
00:20:13.880 They were, you know, show
00:20:15.880 I mean, that was the language
00:20:17.100 The language was actually Yale
00:20:18.880 Was where they did the focus groups
00:20:21.140 They took the money from HHS
00:20:23.840 And they did the focus groups
00:20:25.340 Finding out the propaganda bullet points
00:20:28.520 That liberals respond to most
00:20:30.980 And they were altruistic
00:20:32.020 They were like, you know
00:20:33.380 Do the right thing for society
00:20:35.560 Okay, here, you know
00:20:37.520 Well, they leverage your best qualities
00:20:39.280 And those are a person's best qualities
00:20:40.820 Altruism is your best quality
00:20:42.080 And they took that and used it against us
00:20:44.740 Yeah, but also, like, I get this point
00:20:46.620 In my kind of how did this all happen
00:20:48.580 Internal monologue
00:20:49.840 And then I think, just like you
00:20:51.300 These are smart people
00:20:52.540 Read a book
00:20:53.380 Well, that's
00:20:54.060 Of course, I completely agree
00:20:55.900 And the reason I'm pressing you on this
00:20:57.100 Is because I don't know the answer myself
00:20:58.320 And I've been brooding on it
00:20:59.320 For a couple years now
00:21:00.280 I suspect it's a more core variable
00:21:04.120 I think it may have to do with
00:21:05.620 How healthy your personal life is
00:21:07.380 I do think that people I know
00:21:09.880 Who had healthy marriages
00:21:11.440 You know, respectful, happy
00:21:13.920 Those people were less susceptible
00:21:16.360 Yeah
00:21:17.480 But I don't know
00:21:18.880 So, while all of this was going on
00:21:21.260 And I remember very well
00:21:22.480 Watching a lot of surprises
00:21:25.460 You went from being, you know
00:21:27.520 Kind of a celebrated person
00:21:28.540 To being an enemy
00:21:30.140 And watching CIA-controlled Wikipedia
00:21:33.340 Write that into history
00:21:35.200 Your sins
00:21:35.760 I wonder, like, are any of your friends
00:21:39.900 Reaching out to you offline, privately
00:21:41.720 To say, I'm with you?
00:21:43.860 Oh, it's sadder than that
00:21:45.460 I mean, no one will ever
00:21:47.460 No one has ever said
00:21:49.480 I behaved abominably
00:21:51.800 I'm so sorry
00:21:52.420 Not one person's ever said that?
00:21:53.600 Not one, no
00:21:54.560 Whoa
00:21:55.260 However, however
00:21:56.640 I mean, this is so heartbreaking
00:21:58.640 They're
00:21:59.880 I mean, I don't want to, like,
00:22:02.000 Throw my friends under the bus
00:22:04.140 But what the form it takes
00:22:06.040 This is what will happen to me
00:22:07.040 Typically
00:22:07.560 I've started to be invited back
00:22:10.060 To some of the parties
00:22:11.700 That I got dramatically excluded from
00:22:14.000 And I'll go
00:22:15.780 Because I want to build bridges
00:22:17.500 And, you know, heal society
00:22:19.800 See old friends
00:22:20.720 See old friends, certainly
00:22:21.560 I mean, it's not like I don't go back
00:22:24.100 With emotions
00:22:25.300 But I go back
00:22:26.160 And I'll just be standing there
00:22:28.260 And people will come up to me
00:22:29.560 Without even introducing themselves
00:22:30.900 Tell me their symptoms
00:22:31.940 They'll say, I have blood clots in my legs
00:22:35.280 Or my grandfather just passed
00:22:37.460 From a triple heart attack
00:22:39.500 They'll just share their symptoms
00:22:41.460 And so I feel like
00:22:43.860 I feel like people are waking up
00:22:46.660 And I don't need an apology
00:22:48.520 I don't
00:22:49.160 Because this isn't about me
00:22:50.080 It's about something much more important
00:22:51.880 But I feel like if society will ever heal
00:22:55.980 That emerging awareness
00:22:59.480 That something catastrophic happened
00:23:01.380 People have to understand
00:23:04.440 That something catastrophic happened
00:23:05.760 In order to heal
00:23:06.520 And I do see that happening
00:23:07.580 It does feel like on an individual level
00:23:09.580 I also hear that
00:23:11.200 Because I wasn't vaxxed and said so
00:23:13.600 And so maybe people feel comfortable
00:23:16.040 If they know where you stand on that
00:23:18.060 And I'm not very judgy
00:23:19.040 So I'll sit and listen
00:23:20.440 But I have not heard one acknowledgement
00:23:24.680 Outside of, you know, interviews
00:23:26.920 I've done with people
00:23:27.580 But more broadly, society-wide
00:23:29.940 I haven't heard any public official
00:23:31.820 Even refer to it
00:23:33.320 No
00:23:33.700 No, in fact
00:23:35.420 There's a section in Facing the Beast
00:23:37.400 That goes into that
00:23:38.220 It's like the phrases move on
00:23:41.920 You know, when you go back to Brooklyn
00:23:43.540 Or to New York now
00:23:44.540 The, you know, those elite circles
00:23:48.620 Or the circles where the culture's being produced
00:23:51.680 Or even where politics is being produced
00:23:54.460 Except, you know, the outside figures
00:23:57.580 With whom I talk to these days
00:23:59.000 The consensus is almost like this massive amnesia
00:24:05.720 Or probably like Germany after, you know, in 1946
00:24:09.960 Like, let's just move on
00:24:12.600 Let's not discuss it
00:24:13.980 Like there's a section in Facing the Beast
00:24:15.800 Where I go into a bookstore in Brooklyn
00:24:17.760 You know, a good one
00:24:18.580 Jackson McNally
00:24:19.660 And there's like not a book
00:24:22.680 By the experts on racial disparities in education
00:24:26.540 About brown and black children being left behind for two years
00:24:29.860 And falling back academically in ways
00:24:32.240 That are unlikely to recover in their lifetimes
00:24:34.400 There's, you know, from feminists
00:24:36.080 There's not a book about how women lost all the gains
00:24:38.580 They made in the workforce
00:24:39.560 Because they had to go home
00:24:40.680 And look after children who are chained to computers
00:24:42.940 You know, the doctors
00:24:44.740 The health section
00:24:46.100 Nothing about the vast documentation now
00:24:49.820 Of the injuries and sterilizations and deaths
00:24:54.100 You know, resulting from these mRNA injections
00:24:56.720 Or nothing about treatments
00:24:58.520 The people like Robert Reich
00:25:01.200 You know, don't talk about the biggest transfer of assets
00:25:04.420 In living history
00:25:05.720 As, you know, small businesses
00:25:09.040 Small landlords couldn't compete
00:25:11.280 Had to close their shops
00:25:13.340 Had to, you know, sell their properties off
00:25:16.080 At fire sale prices
00:25:17.260 BlackRock and Vanguard scooped up the properties
00:25:20.620 And, you know, Walmart
00:25:23.240 Now we have a renter society
00:25:24.440 Sorry?
00:25:25.080 Now we have a renter society
00:25:25.900 Exactly, exactly, exactly
00:25:27.560 And, yeah, and all the liberal economists
00:25:30.240 Are not talking about that at all
00:25:32.520 Not a word
00:25:33.220 And so, weirdly, I'm having
00:25:36.020 The most important conversations of my life
00:25:39.200 With libertarians and conservatives
00:25:41.500 And independents
00:25:42.660 Because the whole societal superstructure
00:25:45.980 Won't process what happened
00:25:47.960 Because they were complicit
00:25:49.340 Yeah, they're implicated in the crime
00:25:51.240 And legally implicated in many cases
00:25:53.140 But it's also
00:25:53.980 The great liberation of
00:25:56.100 Is the only liberation of your life
00:25:57.740 Is admitting
00:25:58.320 How wrong you were
00:26:00.340 How loathsome you've been
00:26:01.740 Saying that out loud
00:26:03.280 Is to be freed from it
00:26:04.620 So I just feel like a lot of people
00:26:06.640 Millions of people
00:26:07.340 Are missing the opportunity
00:26:08.580 To be much happier
00:26:11.480 Than they've ever been
00:26:12.500 When you just say
00:26:13.340 I did this and I'm sorry
00:26:14.640 Right
00:26:15.140 Right?
00:26:15.780 I think so
00:26:17.780 But, you know, you asked earlier
00:26:20.800 Why did so many people
00:26:23.140 Go along with a great crime
00:26:24.880 And a massive lie
00:26:26.300 And, you know, one of the things
00:26:29.640 We haven't talked about
00:26:30.480 That, in my observation
00:26:32.480 Distinguishes between
00:26:34.280 The people who could tell
00:26:36.760 And hear the truth
00:26:37.620 And those who went along
00:26:38.860 With this massive lie
00:26:41.120 And crime
00:26:42.280 Is religious faith
00:26:45.160 You know
00:26:45.800 Well, I couldn't agree more
00:26:46.860 And so if you believe
00:26:48.960 But I don't think
00:26:49.540 Religious faith is possible
00:26:51.000 Unless
00:26:51.740 Or any kind of personal growth
00:26:53.520 But religious faith
00:26:54.220 Is not possible
00:26:54.940 Unless you admit
00:26:55.960 How screwed up you are
00:26:57.180 Totally
00:26:57.560 But if you don't really
00:26:58.640 Have a very deep religious faith
00:27:00.160 You don't think you have to
00:27:01.400 Ah
00:27:02.640 Interesting
00:27:04.000 Yeah
00:27:04.740 So how
00:27:06.160 Okay, so I wanted to
00:27:07.260 That's one of the main things
00:27:08.180 I wanted to talk about
00:27:08.980 About how this changed you
00:27:10.440 As a person
00:27:11.540 Because you can't go through
00:27:12.720 Something that transformative
00:27:14.740 I mean, I don't think
00:27:15.760 This was on your
00:27:16.940 Like list of potential
00:27:18.520 Future events
00:27:19.380 Like lose all my friends
00:27:20.800 Wind up with Steve Bannon
00:27:22.020 Like what?
00:27:24.080 So how did that affect you
00:27:25.780 As a person?
00:27:28.820 Which part?
00:27:30.220 The whole experience
00:27:31.220 So like
00:27:31.800 You
00:27:33.240 In 2024
00:27:35.740 How were you different
00:27:37.420 From the way you were
00:27:38.720 In 2019?
00:27:40.120 Gotcha
00:27:40.420 Well
00:27:42.220 I mean
00:27:44.220 One huge difference
00:27:45.720 And I think a lot of
00:27:46.640 Us
00:27:47.360 Who are colleagues
00:27:48.220 On this journey
00:27:49.020 You know
00:27:49.760 Feel the same way
00:27:50.820 The scales have fallen
00:27:52.660 From our eyes
00:27:53.300 Right
00:27:53.560 About so many things
00:27:55.560 But about every institution
00:27:57.460 You know
00:27:58.520 In 2019
00:27:59.880 I thought
00:28:00.720 Hospitals
00:28:01.740 Were places
00:28:03.280 Where doctors
00:28:04.220 Would heal people
00:28:05.160 And
00:28:05.440 They've become
00:28:07.120 They became
00:28:07.880 Death factories
00:28:08.560 For bonuses
00:28:10.660 You know
00:28:11.380 They were
00:28:11.820 Prescribing
00:28:12.840 Killer medication
00:28:14.660 To get those bonuses
00:28:16.860 I'm sure your audience
00:28:17.700 Is familiar
00:28:18.200 With the work
00:28:18.720 That's been done on that
00:28:19.600 I thought
00:28:20.820 I thought that
00:28:21.080 You know
00:28:21.320 As I mentioned
00:28:21.860 That the media
00:28:22.480 Told the truth
00:28:23.280 And they were
00:28:24.140 Willing to take
00:28:24.880 The money
00:28:25.340 From the Bill
00:28:26.260 And Melinda Gates
00:28:26.780 Foundation
00:28:27.200 And then from
00:28:27.760 The CARES Act
00:28:28.400 To lie
00:28:29.600 You know
00:28:30.100 To overcome
00:28:30.580 Vaccine hesitantly
00:28:31.560 To lie
00:28:32.300 And lie
00:28:32.900 And lie
00:28:33.360 And to smear
00:28:34.280 People
00:28:34.740 Who were telling
00:28:35.620 The truth
00:28:36.160 I mean
00:28:38.300 We could go
00:28:39.020 On and on
00:28:39.540 You know
00:28:39.920 The presidency
00:28:41.800 Congress
00:28:42.420 I mean
00:28:42.960 Everyone
00:28:44.140 And around the world
00:28:45.400 Right
00:28:45.660 Especially the West
00:28:46.580 That was targeted
00:28:47.480 By these lies
00:28:48.300 And by this
00:28:49.520 Global coup
00:28:50.740 I don't think
00:28:51.400 That's an overstatement
00:28:52.260 All of those
00:28:54.240 Institutions
00:28:54.820 Didn't work
00:28:55.560 Only a few people
00:28:56.920 Resisted
00:28:58.480 In all of our
00:28:59.420 Major institutions
00:29:00.180 The educational system
00:29:01.120 The universities
00:29:01.840 You know
00:29:02.560 I went to Yale
00:29:03.240 Because they were
00:29:03.820 Mandating these shots
00:29:05.180 For the kids
00:29:05.940 A booster
00:29:06.880 The staff was exempt
00:29:09.440 The administration
00:29:09.980 Was exempt
00:29:10.500 The faculty was exempt
00:29:11.700 And I knew for sure
00:29:13.560 That they were going
00:29:14.180 To cause some hard damage
00:29:15.240 To the young men
00:29:15.920 And some reproductive damage
00:29:17.100 To the young women
00:29:17.920 And the young men
00:29:18.760 And they took more money
00:29:21.220 From HHS
00:29:22.240 Than they take
00:29:23.980 From tuition
00:29:25.380 So they don't need
00:29:26.360 The students
00:29:26.820 They're trafficking
00:29:28.220 The students' bodies
00:29:29.200 In effect
00:29:29.620 They don't need
00:29:30.120 The students
00:29:30.460 As much as they need
00:29:31.220 Had you gone to Yale?
00:29:32.040 Yes
00:29:32.360 Yeah
00:29:32.880 It was my alma mater
00:29:33.900 Wow
00:29:34.300 I know
00:29:35.200 So again
00:29:36.240 Like one institution
00:29:37.260 After another
00:29:37.860 Just exploding
00:29:39.520 And collapsing
00:29:40.200 When it comes to
00:29:41.040 Basic ethics
00:29:42.640 Or basic
00:29:43.440 Professional
00:29:44.180 Obligations
00:29:45.600 You know
00:29:46.480 So I guess
00:29:48.360 That's a difference
00:29:49.040 Between
00:29:49.680 Well so
00:29:50.180 But that raises
00:29:51.100 Kind of the core question
00:29:51.860 It's like
00:29:52.200 All the things
00:29:52.920 That you believed in
00:29:53.880 You could no longer
00:29:54.520 Believe in
00:29:55.060 Right
00:29:55.500 So what do you believe in?
00:29:58.780 Well
00:29:59.700 While all of those
00:30:01.600 Insights were
00:30:03.500 Shocking me
00:30:05.060 With how corrupt
00:30:06.760 Everything was
00:30:07.760 And that
00:30:08.380 We really have to
00:30:09.200 Rebuild everything
00:30:09.860 From the ground up
00:30:10.640 Right
00:30:10.860 It's not
00:30:11.300 It's not redeemable
00:30:12.620 Right
00:30:12.980 I mean
00:30:13.440 You look at Canada
00:30:14.160 You were just in Canada
00:30:15.100 You know
00:30:15.700 If they're
00:30:16.200 If they've got a death program
00:30:17.960 And they're advertising death
00:30:19.960 To depressed teenagers
00:30:21.040 That is not a redeemable situation
00:30:23.500 No
00:30:23.540 It's not
00:30:23.800 So you know
00:30:26.060 We
00:30:26.420 I think we're at
00:30:27.240 A time
00:30:28.480 In which
00:30:30.760 We have to
00:30:31.980 You know
00:30:33.040 Understand that
00:30:33.640 It's 1774
00:30:34.720 Again
00:30:35.600 1775
00:30:37.020 1776
00:30:37.900 And rebuild
00:30:38.760 All these institutions
00:30:40.300 From the ground up
00:30:41.220 In a
00:30:41.560 In a way
00:30:42.220 Aligned with our
00:30:43.360 I would say
00:30:44.820 Divine mission
00:30:45.440 On this planet
00:30:46.100 As Americans
00:30:46.960 Yes
00:30:47.640 And people around the world
00:30:49.420 Have the same divine mission
00:30:50.660 To
00:30:50.920 Yes
00:30:51.360 To build
00:30:51.920 I mean
00:30:55.660 I think democracy
00:30:56.300 Is kind of sacred
00:30:57.060 And so when you have freedom
00:30:58.740 You have a
00:30:59.500 Sacred space
00:31:00.700 In alignment with
00:31:01.540 Our human mission
00:31:03.140 To kind of
00:31:03.740 Walk with God
00:31:04.880 Appropriately
00:31:05.880 So I think we
00:31:07.680 We just
00:31:08.640 Need to rebuild
00:31:09.920 All of it
00:31:10.960 From the ground up
00:31:11.820 And I guess
00:31:13.020 To finish answering
00:31:14.500 Your question
00:31:15.120 A difference
00:31:16.700 Between
00:31:17.400 The way I saw
00:31:19.560 The world then
00:31:20.040 And the way I see
00:31:20.500 The world now
00:31:21.020 Is I
00:31:22.060 You know
00:31:23.200 That parable
00:31:23.820 Who's
00:31:24.380 You know
00:31:24.920 Who's
00:31:25.960 Who's my brother
00:31:27.060 Right
00:31:27.720 Yeah
00:31:27.960 The people I thought
00:31:30.720 Were my brothers and sisters
00:31:31.680 Are not my brothers and sisters
00:31:32.940 And my brothers and sisters
00:31:34.400 Are people
00:31:35.040 From all walks of life
00:31:36.600 Many conservatives
00:31:37.760 Many libertarians
00:31:38.900 People of faith
00:31:40.060 People not of
00:31:41.080 You know
00:31:41.540 Conventional faith
00:31:42.840 But who care about
00:31:43.620 Their fellow human beings
00:31:44.820 And it's a beautiful time
00:31:48.280 As well as being
00:31:49.160 A horrific time
00:31:49.920 Because
00:31:50.360 These people are
00:31:52.040 Finding each other
00:31:52.760 And starting to build
00:31:54.340 New institutions
00:31:55.080 Yes
00:31:55.700 I feel that so strongly
00:31:57.260 That it is a beautiful time
00:31:58.440 And it's so important
00:31:59.380 Not to let the sadness
00:32:00.200 That you feel
00:32:00.780 Watching everything you love
00:32:01.900 Die
00:32:02.280 Blind you
00:32:03.880 To the things
00:32:04.740 That are being born
00:32:05.640 Right in front of you
00:32:06.420 Right
00:32:06.940 Would
00:32:07.760 Your 2019 self
00:32:10.060 Have used the phrase
00:32:10.900 Walk with God
00:32:11.680 Not publicly
00:32:13.040 Not publicly
00:32:15.160 By the way
00:32:18.200 It's not
00:32:18.780 Not just liberals
00:32:19.520 I don't
00:32:19.820 I don't know many
00:32:20.600 Educated
00:32:21.540 You know
00:32:21.800 College educated
00:32:22.440 Conservatives
00:32:23.160 Who would have used
00:32:23.800 That phrase either
00:32:24.560 So what changed in you
00:32:26.360 That you're comfortable
00:32:27.020 Using that
00:32:27.680 Well
00:32:29.140 And this is something
00:32:31.040 I write about
00:32:32.180 In Facing the Beast
00:32:34.300 When I
00:32:37.200 Considered
00:32:39.360 What I was seeing
00:32:40.160 With
00:32:41.120 All the heads of state
00:32:43.280 Of countries around the world
00:32:44.720 Walking in lockstep
00:32:46.500 In a way
00:32:47.200 In an anti-human
00:32:48.760 Assault
00:32:51.680 Against citizens
00:32:53.060 Right
00:32:53.460 I mean
00:32:53.820 The lockdowns targeted
00:32:55.140 Everything that's best
00:32:56.060 About us as human beings
00:32:57.240 Yes
00:32:57.620 Prayer
00:32:59.840 Singing
00:33:00.900 Family
00:33:02.020 Intimacy
00:33:03.280 Physical contact
00:33:04.200 Physical touch
00:33:05.260 Physical contact
00:33:06.380 Community
00:33:07.220 Right
00:33:08.260 All of that was targeted
00:33:09.640 When I saw that happening
00:33:12.680 Around the world
00:33:13.880 In identical language
00:33:15.840 Yes
00:33:16.500 All at the same time
00:33:17.860 I realized
00:33:20.500 That that was not
00:33:22.100 From my study of history
00:33:23.320 That's not possible
00:33:24.300 Yeah
00:33:25.080 By just human
00:33:26.280 History
00:33:27.180 Human history
00:33:28.120 Human history
00:33:28.140 Doesn't work that way
00:33:28.980 Yes
00:33:29.360 There are always
00:33:30.820 You know
00:33:32.380 Dissidents
00:33:32.960 Inside
00:33:34.000 Right
00:33:34.520 Or there are always
00:33:35.140 Factions
00:33:35.840 Or
00:33:36.300 Rich people
00:33:38.820 Who can't be bribed
00:33:39.780 Or
00:33:40.020 You know
00:33:40.520 Martyrs
00:33:41.200 It's way messier
00:33:42.120 Than that
00:33:42.560 That's right
00:33:42.940 Always messier
00:33:43.780 If it's organic
00:33:43.960 Right
00:33:44.340 You know
00:33:44.680 Hitler's situation
00:33:46.020 Was messier
00:33:46.680 Very messy
00:33:47.980 Stalin's
00:33:48.620 Oh my gosh
00:33:49.320 Right
00:33:49.600 They fought a civil war
00:33:50.540 For five years
00:33:51.220 Totally
00:33:51.660 But you don't get
00:33:52.780 Lockstep evil
00:33:53.840 All over the world
00:33:54.800 In concert
00:33:55.420 With merely human efforts
00:33:56.960 And
00:33:58.120 I also just felt
00:34:00.220 That the world
00:34:00.700 Had something new
00:34:02.000 Let loose on it
00:34:03.240 It just felt like
00:34:04.260 These dark forces
00:34:05.220 Had been let loose
00:34:06.260 That had not been
00:34:06.900 On the planet
00:34:07.420 I felt the same thing
00:34:08.440 My whole life
00:34:10.000 And
00:34:10.420 I
00:34:11.480 I
00:34:12.100 I saw that this was evil
00:34:14.180 Right
00:34:14.620 I saw that it was like
00:34:15.520 So impressive
00:34:16.540 That
00:34:17.400 It was beyond human capacity
00:34:18.920 And that it was evil
00:34:20.080 That was so impressive
00:34:21.080 And
00:34:21.400 So
00:34:22.220 I
00:34:22.900 Concluded
00:34:23.580 That I
00:34:24.440 Believed
00:34:25.520 That
00:34:26.260 God
00:34:26.840 In God
00:34:27.420 More literally
00:34:27.940 Than I had
00:34:28.560 Because the evil
00:34:29.540 Aimed at him
00:34:30.380 Was
00:34:31.200 Was more literal
00:34:32.680 Than I'd ever witnessed
00:34:33.740 Before
00:34:34.020 So it must be aimed
00:34:35.040 At something that really exists
00:34:36.460 You know
00:34:37.220 And
00:34:38.120 So you sort of came at it
00:34:39.260 From a photographic negative
00:34:40.300 Initially
00:34:41.200 Initially
00:34:42.380 But then I also
00:34:43.820 Asked myself
00:34:45.080 What is this evil
00:34:46.320 And
00:34:47.320 I mean
00:34:47.740 I've always been interested
00:34:48.500 In evil
00:34:49.120 Like as the granddaughter
00:34:50.040 Of people
00:34:51.100 Who lost siblings
00:34:52.060 In the Holocaust
00:34:52.540 You know
00:34:53.160 You think about evil
00:34:54.260 So
00:34:56.700 The
00:34:57.500 Explanations
00:34:58.880 That are
00:34:59.460 Around
00:35:00.260 Like it's Satan
00:35:01.100 That didn't
00:35:01.840 Wasn't satisfying to me
00:35:03.260 Partly because
00:35:04.100 I knew the literary
00:35:04.940 Creation
00:35:07.080 Evolution
00:35:07.520 Evolution
00:35:07.540 Of the idea
00:35:08.020 Of Satan
00:35:08.420 In the West
00:35:08.900 Which is
00:35:09.300 Kind of very
00:35:09.680 Elaborated
00:35:10.180 By Dante
00:35:10.960 And Milton
00:35:11.400 Yes
00:35:11.780 And also
00:35:13.220 Because I'm Jewish
00:35:13.840 And we don't have
00:35:14.680 The same discourse
00:35:15.840 Around Satan
00:35:16.540 You know
00:35:16.980 Satan kind of shows up
00:35:18.000 Once or twice
00:35:18.540 But he's not
00:35:19.120 The same figure
00:35:20.440 Of like
00:35:20.820 Magisterial evil
00:35:21.980 In the Old Testament
00:35:23.260 So
00:35:24.840 I read a book
00:35:25.960 By
00:35:26.460 A
00:35:27.620 Jewish
00:35:29.220 Writer
00:35:30.140 Who became
00:35:30.820 A Messianic Jew
00:35:32.120 Meaning he believes
00:35:32.740 In Jesus
00:35:33.200 Called Jonathan Kahn
00:35:35.020 And it's called
00:35:36.120 The Return of the Gods
00:35:36.920 And while I don't
00:35:38.880 Believe everything
00:35:39.840 In the book
00:35:40.440 His thesis
00:35:41.320 Made emotional sense
00:35:42.700 To me
00:35:43.020 Which is
00:35:43.660 He argued
00:35:44.900 That
00:35:45.440 We've
00:35:46.520 We in the West
00:35:47.740 But especially
00:35:48.220 We in America
00:35:48.920 Have kind of
00:35:49.800 Released
00:35:51.240 Our hold
00:35:52.620 On the covenant
00:35:53.240 With God
00:35:54.200 And when we do
00:35:58.600 That
00:35:58.960 We leave
00:35:59.760 The parable
00:36:00.500 He cited
00:36:01.420 Was from the New Testament
00:36:02.240 About the
00:36:02.900 The room that's empty
00:36:04.460 And then seven demons
00:36:05.760 Come and inhabit it
00:36:06.800 Yes
00:36:07.140 You know
00:36:07.520 It's all a metaphor
00:36:08.220 But it's also not a metaphor
00:36:09.600 That when we did this
00:36:12.000 It allowed
00:36:12.800 These negative
00:36:13.680 Entities
00:36:14.360 To kind of
00:36:15.840 Reoccupy
00:36:17.200 Us
00:36:18.860 And our
00:36:19.620 Society
00:36:20.400 And he
00:36:22.560 He talked about
00:36:23.660 Actual
00:36:24.520 Pre-Christian
00:36:26.020 Like early
00:36:27.580 Entities
00:36:28.580 The ones that my people
00:36:29.500 In the Hebrew Bible
00:36:30.160 Were fighting against
00:36:31.560 Or you know
00:36:32.160 Always being tempted by
00:36:33.300 And that's
00:36:34.380 Malik
00:36:35.420 Which is just
00:36:36.540 Violence
00:36:37.260 And Baal
00:36:38.980 Which is
00:36:39.720 Just pure power
00:36:41.140 And Astardi
00:36:42.040 Which is
00:36:42.660 Kind of
00:36:43.880 Unlicensed
00:36:45.240 Anti-family sexuality
00:36:47.080 Right
00:36:47.500 Like
00:36:47.800 Irresponsible sexuality
00:36:50.000 And that actually
00:36:52.580 Resonated with me
00:36:53.580 Because
00:36:54.200 Not like
00:36:55.280 Literally
00:36:55.700 Oh they're here
00:36:56.520 But like
00:36:57.080 What if
00:36:58.840 You know
00:36:59.860 That story
00:37:00.860 In the Hebrew Bible
00:37:01.660 About people being
00:37:02.660 Seduced away
00:37:03.660 All the time
00:37:04.480 By these powerful
00:37:05.500 Forces
00:37:05.980 That wanted them
00:37:07.060 To sacrifice
00:37:07.600 Their children
00:37:08.180 And wanted to
00:37:08.980 Destroy their families
00:37:09.720 What if that was
00:37:10.840 Really real
00:37:11.580 In the story
00:37:12.800 Of
00:37:13.380 You know
00:37:14.340 First
00:37:15.220 The
00:37:15.680 Ten commandments
00:37:16.880 Coming to earth
00:37:17.500 And then the story
00:37:18.260 Of this
00:37:19.240 You know
00:37:19.580 Redeemer
00:37:20.060 And Jesus
00:37:20.540 And the new
00:37:21.000 Testament
00:37:21.300 Coming to earth
00:37:21.880 What if that
00:37:22.940 Did bring
00:37:23.880 Some
00:37:24.540 You know
00:37:25.680 Moral beauty
00:37:26.320 And order
00:37:26.740 To the world
00:37:27.600 In a way
00:37:28.440 That kept
00:37:28.820 Those forces
00:37:29.360 At bay
00:37:29.900 And then
00:37:30.660 What if
00:37:31.180 And then look
00:37:31.980 At like
00:37:32.420 European history
00:37:33.200 Everything is
00:37:33.920 Consecrated
00:37:34.620 And American history
00:37:35.440 Too
00:37:35.760 Sant Angelo
00:37:37.760 San Michele
00:37:38.960 Santa Barbara
00:37:40.220 You know
00:37:40.900 All of these places
00:37:41.880 Are consecrated
00:37:42.680 We were
00:37:43.260 A city on a hill
00:37:44.420 What if that was
00:37:45.000 Real
00:37:45.420 You know
00:37:46.340 And what if
00:37:47.320 When we
00:37:47.760 Stopped
00:37:48.600 Caring about
00:37:49.280 Consecrating
00:37:50.020 Our societies
00:37:51.180 And our land
00:37:51.820 And we
00:37:52.620 Stopped
00:37:53.140 Doing our part
00:37:53.840 In just
00:37:54.180 Living morally
00:37:55.300 Or trying
00:37:55.800 To live morally
00:37:56.480 It does allow
00:37:58.280 This vulnerability
00:37:58.860 In which
00:37:59.380 These horrible
00:38:00.280 Forces
00:38:00.820 Can just
00:38:01.260 Come in
00:38:01.700 And flip
00:38:02.960 All these
00:38:03.500 Institutions
00:38:04.320 And I saw
00:38:05.040 This happening
00:38:05.440 Overnight
00:38:05.920 All these
00:38:06.520 Institutions
00:38:07.100 Devoted to
00:38:08.000 Good things
00:38:08.660 Like hospitals
00:38:09.380 And schools
00:38:09.960 Were overnight
00:38:11.160 Devoted to
00:38:11.760 Their mirror
00:38:12.200 Image
00:38:12.680 You know
00:38:13.240 Grooming children
00:38:15.040 Harming children
00:38:16.880 Suffocating children
00:38:17.840 With masks
00:38:18.580 You know
00:38:19.080 We talked about
00:38:19.560 The hospitals
00:38:20.080 What if
00:38:21.380 What if there's truth
00:38:23.060 That there's a certain
00:38:24.280 Safety we have
00:38:26.600 As a society
00:38:27.320 When we
00:38:28.000 Consecrate
00:38:29.280 Ourselves
00:38:30.040 And our society
00:38:31.100 To a higher
00:38:32.380 Good
00:38:33.060 Well I mean
00:38:33.800 It's the story
00:38:34.780 Of history though
00:38:35.600 I mean
00:38:36.200 I'm not quite done
00:38:37.200 With the Old Testament
00:38:38.280 I've been reading it
00:38:39.400 Straight through
00:38:39.760 I'm to Jeremiah
00:38:40.380 For the first time
00:38:41.140 But it seems to me
00:38:42.740 That is
00:38:43.120 I mean
00:38:43.580 The whole
00:38:45.140 The whole narrative
00:38:45.960 So far
00:38:46.520 Is we have this deal
00:38:47.760 And when you stray
00:38:49.640 From the deal
00:38:50.220 You don't have
00:38:51.220 My protection anymore
00:38:52.240 Totally
00:38:52.980 The Babylonians
00:38:53.680 Swoop in
00:38:54.020 The temple's
00:38:54.500 Destroyed twice
00:38:55.280 Twice
00:38:55.680 For those reasons
00:38:56.900 I mean
00:38:57.120 That's what it says
00:38:57.920 Yeah
00:38:58.280 And so it's not
00:38:59.580 A new idea
00:39:00.100 At all
00:39:00.520 You're not
00:39:00.900 Describing anything
00:39:01.940 Modern
00:39:02.780 You're describing
00:39:03.500 Like the story
00:39:04.040 Of the last
00:39:04.380 5,000 years
00:39:05.280 Well Tucker
00:39:06.040 You're exactly right
00:39:07.360 I mean
00:39:07.820 I thought I was educated
00:39:09.320 But I've never
00:39:09.940 Read the Bible
00:39:10.780 I hadn't either
00:39:11.420 I went to college too
00:39:14.140 Right
00:39:14.520 Both of us
00:39:15.680 With our expensive
00:39:16.720 Educations
00:39:17.380 We're never given
00:39:18.320 That book
00:39:18.740 To us
00:39:19.200 From beginning to end
00:39:19.940 For a class
00:39:20.540 And I'm fortunate
00:39:23.100 In that I read
00:39:23.660 Hebrew
00:39:24.080 And I also
00:39:25.200 You read Hebrew?
00:39:25.920 I do read Hebrew
00:39:26.640 Well that's pretty cool
00:39:27.360 It's lucky
00:39:27.960 Not perfectly
00:39:29.040 But you know
00:39:29.680 I can
00:39:30.100 And also
00:39:32.460 I can read
00:39:33.400 16th century
00:39:35.740 Typography
00:39:36.760 Because of an
00:39:37.380 Arcane class
00:39:37.980 I took once
00:39:38.580 At Oxford
00:39:39.200 For my
00:39:39.820 Amlet
00:39:40.440 But point is
00:39:41.500 I've been reading
00:39:42.260 The Geneva Bible
00:39:43.140 Which is the
00:39:43.780 Founder's Bible
00:39:44.540 It predates
00:39:46.600 The King James Bible
00:39:47.800 And it's the Bible
00:39:48.800 That created the
00:39:50.940 Reformation
00:39:51.400 Created the Puritan movement
00:39:52.700 And it's very much
00:39:54.080 More closely translated
00:39:55.340 From the Hebrew
00:39:56.740 Than any subsequent
00:39:58.060 Bible
00:39:58.500 And
00:39:59.440 That I've read
00:40:00.160 And
00:40:00.680 This has been so
00:40:02.000 Amazing to me
00:40:03.020 Because what you just said
00:40:04.060 Like
00:40:04.300 It's just all laid out
00:40:05.920 That's
00:40:06.780 It's totally laid out
00:40:07.900 Right
00:40:08.420 You know
00:40:09.240 In Hebrew
00:40:09.700 And in the Geneva Bible
00:40:11.460 Here's
00:40:12.260 And it's not like
00:40:13.080 Punitive
00:40:13.620 But there's a social
00:40:14.640 Contract between us
00:40:15.540 And he just keeps
00:40:17.700 Explaining it
00:40:18.600 Like
00:40:18.820 So many times
00:40:19.820 That's what strikes me
00:40:20.760 I'm not reading this
00:40:21.420 With anyone else
00:40:21.920 I'm just reading it alone
00:40:22.640 I've had no input
00:40:24.100 On my conclusions
00:40:25.400 I just want to read it
00:40:26.160 And see what's there
00:40:26.640 But the main thing
00:40:27.960 That sticks out
00:40:28.460 Is the repetition
00:40:29.120 Right
00:40:29.720 I mean
00:40:30.380 Over and over
00:40:31.240 Oh oh
00:40:31.700 Like 10,000 times
00:40:33.060 It's like
00:40:33.740 Look
00:40:34.100 It's really simple
00:40:34.780 Right
00:40:35.080 You know
00:40:35.360 And
00:40:35.660 I don't really
00:40:37.420 Quite know what to make of that
00:40:38.420 But it's not
00:40:39.120 A new concept
00:40:39.840 It's the concept
00:40:40.760 It's the concept
00:40:41.680 And here's another
00:40:42.680 Mind-blowing thing
00:40:43.420 If we're diving right in there
00:40:44.860 In the original Hebrew
00:40:48.140 And in the faithful translation
00:40:49.980 Of the Geneva Bible
00:40:50.900 The figure
00:40:51.980 The character of God
00:40:53.280 Is totally different
00:40:54.560 Than later mistranslations
00:40:56.000 Of standard Bibles
00:40:57.400 That we read
00:40:58.200 In the West
00:40:58.760 In English
00:40:59.520 Totally different
00:41:00.500 He's not
00:41:01.400 I was taught
00:41:02.200 That God is
00:41:03.140 Irrational
00:41:04.160 Arbitrary
00:41:04.880 Kind of cruel
00:41:05.620 You can't understand him
00:41:06.740 Different
00:41:07.100 Distant from human beings
00:41:08.380 Different from human beings
00:41:09.420 In the original
00:41:10.380 He's so like us
00:41:12.500 Loves us
00:41:13.900 Keeps trying to help us
00:41:15.620 Get it right
00:41:16.260 Super relatable
00:41:17.660 Nothing's too small
00:41:19.340 For his concern
00:41:20.340 Shows up
00:41:22.160 And he just
00:41:22.900 Keeps being written
00:41:24.160 That aspect of his character
00:41:25.920 Keeps being written
00:41:26.740 Out of later translations
00:41:28.140 Like almost
00:41:28.900 I'm not going to say
00:41:29.880 Intentionally
00:41:30.400 But systematically
00:41:31.180 And the other thing
00:41:32.420 Is you don't need
00:41:33.340 A middleman
00:41:34.680 In the original
00:41:35.640 It's like God's
00:41:36.580 Right there
00:41:37.160 You know
00:41:37.440 Hagar is cast out
00:41:38.520 Into the sands
00:41:40.880 With her
00:41:41.400 You know
00:41:41.660 She's a slave woman
00:41:42.660 With her baby
00:41:43.520 She goes away
00:41:44.760 From the baby
00:41:45.220 Because she doesn't want
00:41:45.840 To watch her little son die
00:41:47.120 And there's God
00:41:48.480 You know
00:41:48.960 Right there
00:41:49.840 Or
00:41:50.200 Jacob is trying to
00:41:52.140 Is about to cross the river
00:41:53.320 He's about to face
00:41:54.400 His brother
00:41:54.880 They've had a
00:41:55.920 Deadly relationship
00:41:57.760 With each other
00:41:58.320 In the past
00:41:58.900 His family's at risk
00:42:00.940 And it's not
00:42:02.400 An angel
00:42:03.140 Who wrestles with Jacob
00:42:04.580 That is a mistranslation
00:42:06.260 It's God
00:42:07.580 Preparing him
00:42:08.920 For this
00:42:09.520 Confrontation
00:42:10.780 With his brother
00:42:11.700 Over and over
00:42:12.920 God is written out
00:42:14.600 In later
00:42:15.420 Iterations
00:42:16.760 And the role
00:42:18.200 Of the middleman
00:42:18.880 Is stressed
00:42:19.520 Right
00:42:19.800 The priest
00:42:20.420 Or Moses
00:42:21.000 You know
00:42:22.200 And so later
00:42:23.320 Translations serve
00:42:24.320 Religion
00:42:24.680 But they're not
00:42:25.500 Accurate
00:42:25.980 They don't
00:42:26.960 Depict God
00:42:27.940 Accurately
00:42:28.640 If we
00:42:29.700 Read
00:42:30.440 These Bibles
00:42:31.760 And this is why
00:42:32.420 The Puritans
00:42:33.020 Were so confident
00:42:33.980 And why the
00:42:34.740 You know
00:42:35.300 The early reformers
00:42:36.420 Were so confident
00:42:37.740 We would never fear
00:42:40.460 Because you know
00:42:42.180 We're God's children
00:42:43.440 And he makes it super clear
00:42:44.680 But he also is like
00:42:45.840 Here's how I'll protect you
00:42:47.780 Do these simple things
00:42:48.860 If you don't do
00:42:49.860 These simple things
00:42:50.700 Terrible things will happen
00:42:52.380 And as you say
00:42:53.520 That's the story
00:42:54.320 Over and over
00:42:55.040 Again and again
00:42:56.460 And again and again
00:42:57.780 Various figures in the Bible
00:42:59.360 Facing some very
00:43:00.640 Very perilous moments
00:43:02.960 I mean the amount of
00:43:03.900 Kind of scary scenes
00:43:05.080 And violence
00:43:05.620 It's like all
00:43:06.300 Totally shocking to me
00:43:07.440 Right
00:43:07.740 Isn't it interesting
00:43:09.080 That that's
00:43:09.900 Pretty much not read
00:43:11.520 In churches and synagogues
00:43:13.040 Well I never
00:43:13.540 I went to Episcopal church
00:43:14.940 You know my whole life
00:43:15.860 And I never heard any of it
00:43:17.120 Like any of it
00:43:18.360 Yeah
00:43:18.620 I don't know how that happened
00:43:19.800 I went to conservative
00:43:20.880 Temple my whole life
00:43:22.300 Which is basically the same
00:43:23.160 As the Episcopal church
00:43:24.060 Totally
00:43:24.440 So Orthodox Jews
00:43:26.320 Read
00:43:27.020 Yes
00:43:27.400 The text
00:43:28.040 And they're on fire
00:43:29.740 No that's totally right
00:43:31.320 Tucker says it best
00:43:37.340 The credit card companies
00:43:38.980 Are ripping Americans off
00:43:40.620 And enough is enough
00:43:41.940 This is Senator
00:43:43.100 Roger Marshall of Kansas
00:43:44.500 Our legislation
00:43:46.040 The Credit Card Competition Act
00:43:48.220 Would help in the grip
00:43:49.580 Visa and MasterCard
00:43:50.980 Have on us
00:43:51.680 Every time you use
00:43:53.260 Your credit card
00:43:54.020 They charge you
00:43:54.940 A hidden fee
00:43:55.540 Called a swipe fee
00:43:56.640 And they've been
00:43:57.540 Raising it
00:43:58.220 Without even telling you
00:43:59.440 This hurts consumers
00:44:01.000 And every small business owner
00:44:02.780 In fact American families
00:44:04.740 Are paying $1,100
00:44:06.040 In hidden swipe fees
00:44:08.000 Each year
00:44:08.520 The fees
00:44:09.680 Visa and MasterCard
00:44:10.860 Charge Americans
00:44:11.900 Are the highest in the world
00:44:13.740 Double candidates
00:44:14.860 And eight times more
00:44:15.960 Than Europe's
00:44:16.680 That's why I've taken action
00:44:18.480 But I need your help
00:44:20.000 To help get this passed
00:44:21.180 I'm asking you
00:44:22.360 To call your senator today
00:44:23.900 And demand
00:44:25.060 They pass the
00:44:25.940 Credit Card Competition Act
00:44:28.020 Paid for by the
00:44:29.100 Merchants Payments Coalition
00:44:30.000 Not authorized by any
00:44:31.080 Candidate or candidates committee
00:44:32.300 www.merchantspaymentscoalition.com
00:44:35.480 But I think this text
00:44:40.220 Is so subversive
00:44:41.300 And extraordinary
00:44:41.920 And revolutionary
00:44:42.560 In its original form
00:44:44.260 No one would do
00:44:45.640 The things that they do
00:44:47.260 If they read this original text
00:44:49.180 And they would feel so
00:44:50.460 Secure
00:44:50.620 Doesn't bear any resemblance
00:44:52.080 To the conversations
00:44:52.800 I hear about religion
00:44:53.920 Totally
00:44:54.680 Again, I'm reading this alone
00:44:56.000 So maybe I'm missing
00:44:56.840 The whole thing
00:44:57.420 Or maybe you're getting
00:44:58.280 Because it's very simple
00:45:00.240 Because when you read it alone
00:45:01.480 It's very simple
00:45:02.560 Right?
00:45:03.520 I think it is
00:45:04.560 And remarkable
00:45:05.860 But the number of times
00:45:06.900 God tells various players
00:45:08.260 In these stories
00:45:09.020 You know, you can hear
00:45:10.920 The hoofbeats in the distance
00:45:11.980 And they're going to come in
00:45:12.900 And burn everything
00:45:14.020 And take everyone away
00:45:15.020 To captivity
00:45:15.500 To slavery
00:45:16.040 Don't be afraid
00:45:17.340 Right
00:45:18.100 Don't be afraid
00:45:18.880 Right
00:45:19.200 Has it had that effect on you?
00:45:20.880 Are you less afraid
00:45:21.600 Reading this?
00:45:22.460 For sure
00:45:22.860 Really?
00:45:24.300 Yeah
00:45:24.500 I love that
00:45:26.460 Because there's a lot
00:45:27.300 To be afraid of right now
00:45:28.260 Especially if you're spending
00:45:30.020 Your life as you are
00:45:30.920 Looking at the details
00:45:32.000 And getting a sense
00:45:33.380 Of the scale
00:45:34.020 Of what's happened
00:45:35.520 Right
00:45:35.900 Well, I married my bodyguard
00:45:38.780 So I'm not physically afraid
00:45:42.500 For that reason
00:45:43.200 Even though it's a very
00:45:44.780 Treacherous, scary time
00:45:46.260 For dissidents
00:45:47.240 But I mean
00:45:48.680 I understand why people of faith
00:45:51.180 Aren't scared
00:45:53.200 Because this guy
00:45:56.080 In the original
00:45:56.800 This being
00:45:57.580 You know
00:45:58.720 Will take care of it
00:46:02.060 Maybe not here
00:46:05.140 Right
00:46:05.920 But this isn't all there is
00:46:07.200 Like maybe we don't know
00:46:08.920 The big picture
00:46:09.640 Right where we are
00:46:10.640 But for sure
00:46:12.040 Where I feel now
00:46:13.840 Reading this
00:46:14.520 For sure
00:46:15.500 Everyone
00:46:16.140 Every individual
00:46:17.280 Is held in the
00:46:18.220 Palm of God
00:46:19.220 And
00:46:20.140 And
00:46:20.460 And God cares so much
00:46:22.380 About every single person
00:46:23.680 Every single person's fate
00:46:25.020 And is so sad
00:46:26.560 When we
00:46:27.140 You know
00:46:28.240 Stray
00:46:29.340 From this very simple
00:46:30.540 Easy path
00:46:31.260 That he wants us to walk
00:46:32.300 So that we can be
00:46:33.060 Close to him
00:46:34.060 Right
00:46:34.500 So
00:46:35.340 Yeah
00:46:36.600 I think the most
00:46:37.480 Courageous people I know
00:46:38.640 Now in this time
00:46:40.500 Of 1776
00:46:41.660 Believe this
00:46:43.120 Because they can't get hurt
00:46:44.240 Ultimately
00:46:44.780 Does it set your own
00:46:46.560 Just extraordinary
00:46:47.640 And unexpected
00:46:49.260 Like it's true for all of us
00:46:50.360 All of our life paths
00:46:51.120 Are extraordinary
00:46:51.580 Unexpected
00:46:52.240 But does it set it
00:46:53.260 Into a kind of context
00:46:54.700 Maybe for you
00:46:55.320 Oh
00:46:57.740 That's such a
00:46:58.620 An interesting question
00:47:00.060 You mean
00:47:00.640 Were we born
00:47:01.860 For such a time as this
00:47:02.860 Yeah
00:47:03.080 That's what I mean
00:47:03.740 Kind of
00:47:06.780 I mean
00:47:08.160 Some really scary things
00:47:10.400 Happened to me
00:47:11.180 In my life
00:47:11.980 In the past
00:47:12.660 And
00:47:13.200 I didn't
00:47:14.080 Understand why
00:47:15.180 And now
00:47:16.500 I think
00:47:17.620 Well
00:47:17.940 I'm really
00:47:18.500 Not
00:47:19.080 Very scared
00:47:21.120 Because I've been
00:47:22.000 Through scary things
00:47:23.040 And you know
00:47:23.700 The White House
00:47:24.880 Doesn't scare me
00:47:25.780 Yeah
00:47:26.240 DHS doesn't scare me
00:47:27.600 Apart from that
00:47:31.040 I don't know
00:47:31.900 Because that would
00:47:32.720 Presume
00:47:33.480 Kind of fate
00:47:34.420 And I
00:47:34.880 I do believe in fate
00:47:36.020 But I also believe
00:47:36.660 In free will
00:47:37.180 And I haven't
00:47:37.960 Figured out how to solve
00:47:38.960 That problem
00:47:39.580 If you have
00:47:41.160 Let me know
00:47:41.760 I don't
00:47:42.300 I don't
00:47:42.760 I grew up thinking
00:47:43.980 That
00:47:44.280 Because I'm from
00:47:45.020 Southern California
00:47:45.460 So I thought
00:47:46.000 Calvinism was like
00:47:46.940 The most ludicrous thing
00:47:47.880 I'd ever heard
00:47:49.060 And I was very offended
00:47:50.420 By the concept of Calvinism
00:47:51.720 And then I watched
00:47:52.420 Other people's lives
00:47:53.240 And had some perspective
00:47:54.400 Of my own life
00:47:55.080 And I started to kind of
00:47:56.860 Suspect that free will
00:47:57.860 Wasn't the whole story
00:47:58.980 Because I have known
00:48:00.360 Good people
00:48:00.980 Who've really
00:48:01.640 Suffered
00:48:02.340 Disproportionately
00:48:03.620 And through no fault
00:48:04.580 Of their own
00:48:04.900 They're not the sum
00:48:05.480 Of their own choices
00:48:06.180 Actually
00:48:06.560 There's something else
00:48:07.980 Going on here
00:48:08.780 And I have also known
00:48:09.780 People who don't
00:48:10.680 Deserve to thrive
00:48:11.280 Who have
00:48:11.580 So it's obviously
00:48:12.860 More complicated
00:48:13.460 Than my eighth grade
00:48:14.380 Formulation
00:48:14.980 Accounted for
00:48:15.880 Right
00:48:16.280 But I don't know
00:48:17.320 The answer to the question
00:48:18.360 But I mean
00:48:19.340 People who don't
00:48:20.080 Deserve to thrive
00:48:20.920 But do
00:48:21.560 I mean one thing
00:48:22.420 I've become very sure of
00:48:24.660 Is that
00:48:25.300 You know
00:48:27.300 We are accountable
00:48:28.340 And you know
00:48:29.680 For everything
00:48:30.500 That we do
00:48:31.200 That there will be
00:48:31.880 A time
00:48:32.440 When we're
00:48:33.180 You know
00:48:34.720 Face to face
00:48:35.260 With our creator
00:48:36.280 And we'll have to
00:48:38.280 Account for what
00:48:39.540 We said and did
00:48:40.240 Like I don't mean
00:48:40.900 In a punitive way
00:48:41.780 But like this is
00:48:42.580 This is my life record
00:48:43.560 This is what I did
00:48:44.320 On my one opportunity
00:48:45.680 On this earth
00:48:46.320 And that's partly
00:48:47.560 Why I know
00:48:49.620 That I would rather
00:48:50.600 Face whatever
00:48:51.640 You know
00:48:52.360 Being kicked out
00:48:52.900 Of cocktail parties
00:48:53.640 Or you know
00:48:54.180 Called names
00:48:54.760 Or whatever
00:48:55.120 On this planet
00:48:56.400 Than face God
00:48:57.400 And say I stood by
00:48:58.560 While babies were killed
00:49:00.220 And women were rendered
00:49:01.100 Infertile
00:49:01.880 You know
00:49:02.340 That would scare me
00:49:03.580 Right
00:49:04.000 So I do believe
00:49:07.140 That all of us
00:49:08.600 Are going to have
00:49:09.020 That moment
00:49:09.520 And not in a
00:49:11.000 Punitive way
00:49:11.600 But like we bring
00:49:12.640 The sum of our
00:49:13.520 Actions with us
00:49:14.580 You know
00:49:15.080 Back home
00:49:16.520 Essentially
00:49:17.080 And if
00:49:18.820 I think if people
00:49:19.580 Really understood that
00:49:20.500 They would want to
00:49:21.900 Behave in a way
00:49:22.960 Aligned with
00:49:23.780 God's will
00:49:24.900 Which is a very
00:49:25.640 Nice friendly will
00:49:26.720 If you read the
00:49:27.300 Hebrew Bible
00:49:27.940 Or the Bible
00:49:28.760 It's like
00:49:29.320 Not that hard
00:49:30.340 To be a good person
00:49:31.280 Rather than
00:49:33.280 Carry with them
00:49:34.280 Any
00:49:36.080 Crime
00:49:37.440 Theft
00:49:38.080 You know
00:49:39.220 Moral lapse
00:49:40.600 Selfishness
00:49:42.620 Ignorant
00:49:43.280 Hatred
00:49:44.500 The kinds
00:49:45.660 Of things
00:49:45.900 People
00:49:46.160 Are happy
00:49:46.860 To carry
00:49:47.300 On this
00:49:48.200 Life
00:49:48.620 As long
00:49:48.920 As they're
00:49:49.160 Doing well
00:49:49.760 You know
00:49:50.320 Externally
00:49:50.840 How
00:49:51.600 I mean
00:49:52.200 I assume
00:49:52.780 Prayer was not
00:49:53.860 Part of your
00:49:54.380 Daily life
00:49:55.000 10
00:49:55.320 15
00:49:55.820 20 years ago
00:49:56.600 Or maybe
00:49:57.020 It was
00:49:57.400 Not really
00:49:58.120 Again
00:49:58.460 Like
00:49:58.740 Not in a
00:49:59.980 Way that
00:50:00.560 Was really
00:50:01.060 Integrated with
00:50:01.800 My
00:50:02.120 Conscious self
00:50:03.140 How do you
00:50:03.460 Approach it
00:50:03.880 Now
00:50:04.200 How do you
00:50:04.680 Think about
00:50:05.160 It
00:50:05.280 I have
00:50:05.920 Concluded
00:50:06.940 That
00:50:07.420 You know
00:50:08.840 That
00:50:09.280 Prayer is a
00:50:10.200 Weapon
00:50:10.500 I mean
00:50:11.100 A good one
00:50:11.560 But that
00:50:11.940 It makes
00:50:12.880 A difference
00:50:13.400 In the
00:50:13.860 World
00:50:14.220 That it
00:50:15.040 That it
00:50:17.080 Does things
00:50:17.960 In the
00:50:18.220 World
00:50:18.500 And for
00:50:19.860 Me
00:50:20.260 What little
00:50:21.980 I understand
00:50:22.700 About this
00:50:23.420 Metaphysical
00:50:24.020 Realm
00:50:24.440 Prayer isn't
00:50:27.040 Like I was
00:50:28.360 Taught
00:50:28.760 You have to
00:50:29.400 Say to God
00:50:29.840 You're so
00:50:30.240 Great
00:50:30.560 You're so
00:50:30.940 Powerful
00:50:31.440 And I'm
00:50:32.040 Like what
00:50:32.280 Kind of
00:50:32.740 God is
00:50:33.240 That that
00:50:33.620 Needs us
00:50:34.160 To be
00:50:34.460 Like you're
00:50:34.840 So awesome
00:50:35.440 You know
00:50:36.180 That's not
00:50:36.460 Very godlike
00:50:37.180 Right
00:50:37.520 But I
00:50:39.180 Think it's
00:50:39.560 The other
00:50:39.800 Way around
00:50:40.460 I think
00:50:41.660 That when
00:50:42.540 We pray
00:50:43.420 It helps
00:50:44.580 Us like
00:50:45.200 You know
00:50:45.940 When we
00:50:46.500 Train
00:50:46.920 Or when
00:50:47.380 We you know
00:50:48.300 Run a marathon
00:50:49.240 Or when we
00:50:49.800 Go to the
00:50:50.260 Gym
00:50:50.480 It's like
00:50:51.080 We're
00:50:52.300 When we
00:50:55.020 Pray we're
00:50:55.560 In a state
00:50:56.220 In which
00:50:56.600 We're able
00:50:57.380 To get
00:50:57.940 Close
00:50:58.340 Closer to
00:50:59.500 God
00:50:59.700 To be in
00:51:00.240 More of a
00:51:00.760 Relationship
00:51:01.300 With God
00:51:01.760 And that
00:51:03.300 That's for
00:51:03.700 Us
00:51:04.020 And then
00:51:04.280 It makes
00:51:04.560 Us stronger
00:51:05.120 As a result
00:51:06.740 Is it
00:51:07.820 A hard
00:51:08.560 Discipline
00:51:09.120 To pick up
00:51:09.720 Or a hard
00:51:10.240 Practice
00:51:10.660 To start
00:51:11.160 Well I
00:51:12.540 Really thought
00:51:13.160 It was
00:51:13.620 Because I
00:51:13.920 Felt very
00:51:14.320 Stupid and
00:51:14.940 Self-conscious
00:51:15.600 Of course
00:51:16.780 Talking to
00:51:17.360 God
00:51:17.740 Yes
00:51:18.440 But I
00:51:21.200 Think
00:51:21.580 That's the
00:51:22.660 Weird blessing
00:51:23.320 Of these
00:51:23.720 Horrible
00:51:24.180 Three years
00:51:24.980 Is that
00:51:25.340 What I
00:51:25.620 Witnessed
00:51:26.720 Well I'm
00:51:27.000 Skipping over
00:51:27.500 A part
00:51:27.900 Which I'll
00:51:28.260 Share
00:51:28.440 But what
00:51:29.540 I was
00:51:29.780 Witnessing
00:51:30.260 Was so
00:51:30.940 Horrific
00:51:31.600 It was like
00:51:32.120 Opening the
00:51:32.700 Gates of
00:51:33.400 Auschwitz
00:51:33.920 In 1945
00:51:34.560 I mean
00:51:35.400 But beyond
00:51:35.880 That
00:51:36.100 Because of
00:51:36.640 The scale
00:51:37.100 Because what
00:51:38.960 What I haven't
00:51:39.760 Talked about
00:51:40.200 Is that
00:51:40.500 In the
00:51:41.020 Middle of
00:51:41.420 These years
00:51:41.920 I'm
00:51:42.120 Describing
00:51:42.600 A project
00:51:44.700 Got started
00:51:45.380 Up
00:51:45.720 Actually
00:51:46.040 It's Steve
00:51:46.400 Bannon's
00:51:46.940 Recommendation
00:51:47.920 That we
00:51:49.380 Convene
00:51:50.120 What became
00:51:50.760 3,250
00:51:51.580 Doctors and
00:51:52.360 Scientists
00:51:52.660 To go
00:51:53.100 Through the
00:51:53.380 Pfizer
00:51:53.620 Documents
00:51:54.140 That were
00:51:54.500 Released
00:51:54.800 Under court
00:51:55.320 Order
00:51:55.600 When the
00:51:57.460 FDA lost
00:51:58.140 A lawsuit
00:51:58.680 The FDA
00:51:59.180 Had asked
00:51:59.540 The court
00:51:59.900 To keep
00:52:00.400 Them hidden
00:52:00.860 For 75
00:52:01.880 Years
00:52:02.400 And these
00:52:03.880 Doctors and
00:52:04.560 Scientists
00:52:04.900 So distinguished
00:52:06.200 Issued
00:52:07.340 What are
00:52:07.860 Now 94
00:52:08.420 Reports
00:52:09.060 Explaining
00:52:10.580 In very
00:52:11.020 Plain
00:52:11.320 English
00:52:11.700 What's
00:52:12.440 In the
00:52:12.640 Documents
00:52:13.140 And report
00:52:14.800 After report
00:52:15.640 Brought forward
00:52:16.720 Such
00:52:17.700 Unbelievable
00:52:19.980 Criminality
00:52:20.880 Intentional
00:52:22.340 Systematic
00:52:23.160 Crimes
00:52:24.300 Against
00:52:24.600 Humanity
00:52:25.240 And against
00:52:26.500 You know
00:52:27.280 Babies
00:52:28.280 And babies
00:52:28.920 In utero
00:52:29.480 And you know
00:52:30.280 Women and men
00:52:31.260 And children
00:52:31.760 That I
00:52:33.860 Was
00:52:35.080 Overwhelmed
00:52:36.020 That such
00:52:36.440 An evil
00:52:36.800 Thing could
00:52:37.200 Have
00:52:37.320 Happened
00:52:37.860 And so
00:52:38.460 I had
00:52:38.740 No choice
00:52:39.180 But to
00:52:39.500 Pray
00:52:39.720 Because I
00:52:40.140 Don't
00:52:40.360 Think I
00:52:40.620 Could have
00:52:41.020 Kept
00:52:42.780 Working on
00:52:44.060 This material
00:52:44.800 What was
00:52:45.240 The effect
00:52:45.660 On you
00:52:46.080 Of praying
00:52:47.800 That's
00:52:48.500 Such a
00:52:48.880 Good
00:52:48.980 Question
00:52:49.420 Well
00:52:50.680 Nothing's
00:52:52.660 As scary
00:52:53.200 Right
00:52:53.680 Yeah
00:52:54.240 And
00:52:57.780 I guess
00:53:00.780 What is
00:53:03.060 The effect
00:53:03.660 I mean
00:53:04.480 It makes
00:53:05.620 You kept
00:53:06.000 Doing it
00:53:06.540 So obviously
00:53:07.160 It worked
00:53:07.720 Yeah
00:53:08.460 I mean
00:53:08.920 I honestly
00:53:09.600 I think
00:53:09.980 Probably the
00:53:10.440 Things that
00:53:10.760 Didn't happen
00:53:11.420 To me
00:53:11.760 Show the
00:53:12.080 Effect
00:53:12.440 Because I
00:53:13.040 Was working
00:53:13.480 On and am
00:53:14.680 Working on
00:53:15.100 Such
00:53:15.340 Disturbing
00:53:16.940 Horrific
00:53:19.040 Material that
00:53:19.920 You know I
00:53:20.800 Didn't have a
00:53:21.240 Nervous breakdown
00:53:21.860 I didn't become
00:53:22.600 A drug addict
00:53:23.240 My relationships
00:53:26.460 Didn't collapse
00:53:27.280 So I
00:53:28.600 Would say
00:53:28.920 That was
00:53:29.220 God's
00:53:29.720 Help
00:53:30.200 So let me
00:53:30.520 Ask you
00:53:30.840 About that
00:53:31.040 Without
00:53:31.320 I hate
00:53:31.920 Asking people
00:53:32.340 What their
00:53:32.540 Marriages
00:53:32.820 Because it's
00:53:33.220 Just so
00:53:33.480 Personal
00:53:33.820 But you've
00:53:34.240 Referred to
00:53:34.580 Your husband
00:53:35.100 Several times
00:53:36.220 As your
00:53:37.380 Partner and
00:53:37.880 Friend and
00:53:38.340 Spouse and
00:53:38.940 A source of
00:53:39.500 Strength
00:53:39.720 Has
00:53:40.580 Have you
00:53:41.540 Remained aligned
00:53:42.120 With him
00:53:42.520 Like is
00:53:42.900 This trip
00:53:44.300 You've taken
00:53:44.820 Into this
00:53:45.320 Brand new
00:53:45.680 World
00:53:45.940 Have you
00:53:46.180 Taken it
00:53:46.520 Together
00:53:46.820 Totally
00:53:47.300 I mean
00:53:48.160 Sometimes
00:53:48.580 Like
00:53:48.940 You know
00:53:50.460 Honey I
00:53:50.840 Can't talk
00:53:51.380 About that
00:53:51.760 Now
00:53:52.040 It's like
00:53:52.500 The weekend
00:53:53.240 I just
00:53:53.600 Want to
00:53:53.900 Like
00:53:54.140 Yeah
00:53:54.480 For a walk
00:53:54.860 Totally
00:53:55.480 He's
00:53:55.920 He's such
00:53:56.660 A warrior
00:53:57.360 And his
00:53:58.240 Having
00:53:59.200 As I
00:53:59.860 Mentioned
00:54:00.180 His having
00:54:00.620 Been in
00:54:02.360 Very dangerous
00:54:03.760 Situations
00:54:04.500 Really
00:54:05.060 Helps me
00:54:06.300 Pardon me
00:54:06.700 Because
00:54:07.340 A he's a
00:54:08.760 Wonderful strategist
00:54:09.680 So he'll explain
00:54:10.560 To me
00:54:10.980 Kind of what
00:54:11.840 The battlefield
00:54:12.300 Is
00:54:12.800 But also
00:54:14.740 He
00:54:16.260 Like when
00:54:17.400 I want to
00:54:18.380 Whine
00:54:18.820 And say
00:54:19.880 You know
00:54:20.460 I'm tired
00:54:21.120 Of this
00:54:21.700 Like I
00:54:22.220 Want to
00:54:22.500 Stop
00:54:23.300 He'll
00:54:24.560 Say
00:54:25.220 Wars
00:54:26.080 Last
00:54:26.680 For years
00:54:27.660 It is
00:54:28.660 Not a
00:54:28.960 Battle
00:54:29.220 It's
00:54:29.620 A war
00:54:30.060 And
00:54:30.720 The war
00:54:32.200 Of
00:54:32.640 Independence
00:54:33.200 Lasted
00:54:33.860 For years
00:54:34.780 And
00:54:35.940 It's
00:54:36.420 Helpful
00:54:36.760 Because
00:54:37.160 I'm
00:54:37.480 Not
00:54:37.660 A soldier
00:54:38.180 I'm
00:54:38.380 Not
00:54:38.480 Trained
00:54:38.700 As a
00:54:38.960 Soldier
00:54:39.180 So I
00:54:39.540 Just
00:54:39.700 Want
00:54:39.900 There
00:54:40.020 To be
00:54:40.180 A battle
00:54:40.500 And
00:54:40.640 Then
00:54:40.740 We're
00:54:40.880 Done
00:54:41.160 And
00:54:41.300 Right
00:54:41.440 Right
00:54:41.680 Shopping
00:54:42.560 A dramatic
00:54:43.960 Climax
00:54:44.540 And then
00:54:44.720 We can
00:54:44.880 Have a
00:54:45.020 Cocktail
00:54:45.280 And
00:54:45.400 Talk
00:54:45.560 About
00:54:45.760 It
00:54:45.880 No
00:54:46.580 I
00:54:46.780 Feel
00:54:47.160 The
00:54:47.320 Same
00:54:47.500 Way
00:54:47.840 Wow
00:54:48.440 How
00:54:48.680 Inspiring
00:54:49.420 Is
00:54:49.640 That
00:54:50.000 Oh
00:54:50.740 I'm
00:54:51.140 So
00:54:51.340 Lucky
00:54:51.680 Yeah
00:54:53.660 I
00:54:55.440 Was
00:54:56.020 Going to
00:54:56.180 Ask you
00:54:56.440 All
00:54:56.540 These
00:54:56.660 Policy
00:54:56.980 Questions
00:54:57.340 But
00:54:57.520 I
00:54:57.620 Just
00:54:57.780 Think
00:54:57.980 You're
00:54:58.180 What's
00:54:58.500 Happened
00:54:58.800 To
00:54:58.980 You
00:54:59.160 Personally
00:54:59.680 Is
00:54:59.960 So
00:55:00.240 Much
00:55:00.560 More
00:55:00.720 Interesting
00:55:01.080 Than
00:55:01.300 Any
00:55:01.520 Of
00:55:01.720 That
00:55:02.040 Have
00:55:02.640 You
00:55:02.760 Talked
00:55:03.100 About
00:55:03.320 Any
00:55:03.540 Of
00:55:03.700 This
00:55:03.900 Your
00:55:04.140 The
00:55:05.060 Spiritual
00:55:05.960 Direction
00:55:06.820 You've
00:55:07.060 Taken
00:55:07.500 And
00:55:07.640 All
00:55:07.820 Have
00:55:07.940 You
00:55:08.060 Talked
00:55:08.280 About
00:55:08.460 It
00:55:08.560 In
00:55:08.660 Public
00:55:08.940 Interestingly
00:55:10.420 When I
00:55:11.200 Wrote
00:55:11.520 A
00:55:11.960 Substack
00:55:12.580 About
00:55:13.180 Evil
00:55:14.520 And
00:55:15.240 God
00:55:15.880 That's
00:55:17.540 All
00:55:17.820 People
00:55:18.120 Wanted
00:55:18.420 To
00:55:18.520 Talk
00:55:18.700 To
00:55:18.820 Me
00:55:18.980 About
00:55:19.260 For
00:55:19.460 Quite
00:55:19.740 I
00:55:19.880 I
00:55:20.040 I
00:55:20.080 I
00:55:20.100 I
00:55:20.120 I
00:55:21.020 I
00:55:21.100 I
00:55:22.100 I
00:55:23.020 I
00:55:23.100 I
00:55:23.160 I
00:55:23.220 I
00:55:24.100 I
00:55:25.100 I
00:55:25.160 I
00:55:26.100 Spooky
00:55:26.480 To
00:55:26.660 Hear
00:55:26.840 That
00:55:27.160 To
00:55:27.740 Hear
00:55:28.040 You
00:55:28.340 Say
00:55:28.640 That
00:55:28.880 You
00:55:29.180 Came
00:55:29.960 At
00:55:30.100 It
00:55:30.260 Effectively
00:55:30.720 Backwards
00:55:31.280 Or
00:55:31.400 At
00:55:31.460 Backwards
00:55:31.860 From
00:55:32.000 The
00:55:32.260 Way
00:55:32.360 I
00:55:32.480 Thought
00:55:32.660 It
00:55:32.760 Worked
00:55:33.040 Where
00:55:33.260 You
00:55:33.400 See
00:55:33.700 This
00:55:34.060 Negative
00:55:34.980 Thing
00:55:35.400 And
00:55:35.540 You
00:55:35.660 Ask
00:55:35.940 Yourself
00:55:36.240 Well
00:55:36.420 What
00:55:36.640 Is
00:55:36.860 That
00:55:37.120 It's
00:55:37.320 Clearly
00:55:37.540 Not
00:55:37.760 Human
00:55:38.100 It's
00:55:39.040 Clearly
00:55:39.220 Supernatural
00:55:39.860 Right
00:55:40.280 But
00:55:40.480 You
00:55:40.580 Don't
00:55:41.000 No
00:55:41.180 Matter
00:55:41.300 How
00:55:41.460 Many
00:55:41.560 Times
00:55:41.740 You
00:55:41.820 Go
00:55:41.880 To
00:55:41.960 Church
00:55:42.080 You
00:55:42.180 Don't
00:55:42.300 Really
00:55:42.620 Believe
00:55:42.980 There's
00:55:43.200 A
00:55:43.320 Supernatural
00:55:43.780 Realm
00:55:44.060 That
00:55:44.220 Acts
00:55:44.640 On
00:55:44.940 The
00:55:45.060 Natural
00:55:45.420 World
00:55:45.780 Like
00:55:46.000 That's
00:55:46.200 Crazy
00:55:46.660 But
00:55:47.840 It
00:55:48.080 Clearly
00:55:48.320 Is
00:55:48.700 So
00:55:49.680 I
00:55:49.840 Just
00:55:50.000 Think
00:55:50.260 That's
00:55:51.400 So
00:55:51.680 Interesting
00:55:52.160 So
00:55:52.400 When
00:55:52.580 You
00:55:52.760 Wrote
00:55:53.000 About
00:55:53.180 This
00:55:53.400 On
00:55:53.560 Substack
00:55:54.040 Or
00:55:54.160 Your
00:55:54.560 Point
00:55:54.740 About
00:55:54.920 Evil
00:55:55.240 What
00:55:55.480 Did
00:55:55.600 People
00:55:55.840 Say
00:55:56.080 In
00:55:56.220 Response
00:55:56.620 Well
00:55:57.060 They
00:55:57.180 Just
00:55:57.400 Wanted
00:55:57.980 Well
00:55:58.400 The
00:55:58.960 Left
00:55:59.140 Doesn't
00:55:59.380 Talk
00:55:59.560 To
00:55:59.640 Me
00:55:59.740 Anymore
00:56:00.080 At
00:56:00.580 All
00:56:00.760 So
00:56:01.280 They
00:56:01.980 Didn't
00:56:02.140 Say
00:56:02.260 Anything
00:56:02.560 But
00:56:03.060 And
00:56:04.120 They
00:56:04.640 Pretend
00:56:05.000 I
00:56:05.120 Don't
00:56:05.240 Exist
00:56:05.580 So
00:56:05.960 That
00:56:06.700 Was
00:56:06.840 Silence
00:56:07.200 But
00:56:07.660 But
00:56:08.840 That
00:56:09.020 Brings
00:56:09.240 Up
00:56:09.380 A
00:56:09.460 Really
00:56:09.580 Interesting
00:56:09.880 Point
00:56:10.200 To
00:56:10.560 Tucker
00:56:11.000 Because
00:56:11.520 You
00:56:12.400 Know
00:56:12.540 How

00:56:20.740 Of
00:56:20.940 The
00:56:21.060 Children
00:56:21.260 Of
00:56:21.420 Israel
00:56:21.660 Are
00:56:21.900 Kind
00:56:22.200 Of
00:56:22.280 Skipped
00:56:22.500 Over
00:56:22.760 Their

00:56:23.480 Live
00:56:23.800 Passed
00:56:24.120 Over
00:56:24.300 We
00:56:24.440 Might
00:56:24.600 Say
00:56:24.820 Right
00:56:25.180 Right
00:56:25.640 Exactly
00:56:26.040 I

00:56:29.720 This
00:56:29.880 In

00:57:34.660 Thing
00:57:34.960 I
00:57:35.180 Don't

00:57:40.640 Noticer
00:57:40.920 Of

00:58:03.640 Them
00:58:03.740 Grotesque
00:58:04.440 And
00:58:05.220 Pharaoh
00:58:05.440 Just
00:58:05.620 Doesn't
00:58:05.880 Get
00:58:06.000 The
00:58:06.120 Point
00:58:06.280 Just
00:58:06.460 Let
00:58:06.820 These
00:58:06.980 People
00:58:07.180 Go
00:58:07.500 Right
00:58:07.780 Everything
00:58:08.140 Will
00:58:08.280 Be

00:58:08.700 Here
00:58:09.080 Yeah
00:58:09.460 No
00:58:09.760 So
00:58:10.480 I
00:58:10.620 Can't
00:58:10.840 Explain
00:58:11.240 That
00:58:11.580 But
00:58:12.740 I'm
00:58:13.040 Sorry
00:58:13.240 What
00:58:13.420 Was

00:58:14.800 Was
00:58:14.940 Your
00:58:15.080 I
00:58:15.360 Can't
00:58:15.560 Remember
00:58:15.800 I
00:58:15.920 Was
00:58:16.060 So
00:58:16.180 Absorbed
00:58:16.540 In
00:58:16.680 What
00:58:16.840 You
00:58:16.960 Were
00:58:17.080 Saying
00:58:17.420 Oh
00:58:17.780 My
00:58:18.320 Question
00:58:18.640 Was
00:58:18.920 When
00:58:19.460 You
00:58:19.820 Describe
00:58:20.280 Your
00:58:20.520 Journey
00:58:21.080 I
00:58:22.580 Hate
00:58:22.800 That
00:58:22.960 Word
00:58:23.140 I
00:58:23.480 I
00:58:53.460 I'm embarrassed to use the word journey It didn't used to be a cliche I know I know but it is and I'm trying to rid all cliches from my mouth and heart um will you describe what happened to you uh and how your your your thinking is deepened on this did you get a lot of people say wow I had the same experience yes but not not the people I used to be closest to yes they have no idea what I'm talking about they think I'm weird um yes no I don't know if they think I'm weird but no absolutely I mean this is happening you know across the country you know across the country that's really my question.
00:58:53.480 Yes I do.
00:58:54.660 Yes.
00:58:55.060 Yes I do.
00:58:57.000 People say I'm so glad you're talking about these metaphysical dark forces because I feel them too or I'm so glad you're people who never were um who left organized religion behind totally secular are are feeling I don't know what to say an awakening but it's not like a fake trite no socially normative awakening it's like a genuine blossoming of their hearts in ways that it's surprising even
00:59:23.460 them and especially them especially them yes i i am definitely seeing that and i guess what i would
00:59:29.640 say and i'm so glad there's a little bit of of hope you know because the last few years have
00:59:34.220 been so horrible but if you wonder why would humanity be targeted in this way because we
00:59:41.320 haven't even gone into what you know what my team has found right the catastrophic the strokes the
00:59:47.220 the neurological disorders the paralysis the arthritic disorders the sudden deaths the
00:59:53.220 poisoning of babies the killing of babies in utero like it's all in the pfizer documents at
00:59:58.440 industrial scale and they knew this rolling it out you know the white house covering up
01:00:03.320 myocarditis in minors in april of 2021 having a freak out communications meeting to cover it up
01:00:09.620 crime after crime after crime you you look at this and think why would humanity why would god
01:00:16.460 abandon humanity in this way and create such a terrible um why would god let humanity have such
01:00:24.860 terrible crime committed against it at global scale but then now looking not back but in the midst of it
01:00:32.640 i can't think of another circumstance in which the sheep were separated from the goats in effect in which
01:00:39.220 you had to choose are you going to go along with a crime or are you going to speak up for humanity you
01:00:44.320 had are you going to walk with the devil or satan or whatever baal and malik are you going to walk
01:00:49.060 with god you know you couldn't be neutral you had to choose and also you know this force came at the
01:00:57.880 human body and face which i do believe is made in the image of god like i literally believe that now
01:01:03.240 and what would make people think oh wow i'm not going to you know this is such a treasure i've been
01:01:12.240 born into a human body i have a human life you know we have this beautiful planet we have family
01:01:17.040 we have you know intimacy closeness prayer song i'm going to cherish that you know i'm not going to
01:01:23.740 take that for granted anymore it's like they're gifts from god i can't think of another circumstance
01:01:28.380 to wake people up in the way that people are waking up as horrible as it's been it's incredible
01:01:34.180 how can for people who've made it for the last whatever hour and whatever it's been
01:01:38.220 who want to hear more from you uh how can they find it thank you um they can go to dailyclout.io which
01:01:48.180 is my news site that helps people engage with democracy um the pfizer documents reports are all
01:01:56.160 on the upper left hand corner there for free uh they can come to my sub stack which is called outspoken
01:02:02.080 and um they can order the pfizer book uh and they can also order facing the beast if they like is that
01:02:08.860 sold on amazon yes for now yes for now yes well that was kind of not the conversation i expected it
01:02:15.340 was about 100 times better and i'm grateful that you came nemi wolf thank you thank you
01:02:19.760 you
