00:00:00.000 Well, that was a disaster, and not just a metaphorical disaster, but a real disaster, more like the Lusitania sinking than rain at the wedding reception, like an actual disaster.
00:00:11.200 And we go through all kinds of numbers to prove that point. You already know it, of course.
00:00:16.320 But a couple of examples tell the story poignantly.
00:00:20.140 So it wasn't just that Republicans lost Ohio, Ohio, the vice president's home state, or that Texas is now completely Democratic, every statewide office held by a Democrat, including the governor, lieutenant governor, pretty amazing, down to land commissioner, railroad commissioner.
00:00:36.200 it's that Mississippi as of right now and it could change because there's been no official
00:00:44.560 winner declared but as of right now it looks like Mississippi could get a Democrat in the Senate
00:00:50.540 Mississippi when was the last time Mississippi elected a Democrat to the United States Senate
00:00:55.400 well the last time was like a multi-term incumbent segregationist white Democrat this is a black
00:01:00.780 democrat right and he is winning as of right now how badly did it go for republicans last night
00:01:08.300 in alabama a transgendered democrat beat a republican incumbent in the state house
00:01:16.540 so the state of alabama which has got to be pound for pound like the most conservative state
00:01:21.920 out of 50 just elected a transgender democrat ousting a republican so and it's not like
00:01:29.080 there was an outcry in Alabama. Hey, you know, the one thing we lack is we don't have enough
00:01:33.300 transgender representation in the statehouse. Let's kick out the Republican and put in a 1.00
00:01:38.120 student address and the state will be better. People will want to come here.
00:01:42.620 That's not what happened at all. That's not what happened in Mississippi. And that's not what
00:01:47.020 happened in Ohio. And it's not what happened in Texas. It's not what happened anywhere. All of
00:01:50.740 this was a response to the first two years of the Trump administration. This was kind of a
00:01:55.940 collective howl of pain this was a reaction to what the country's been going through for the
00:02:00.420 last two years and if you call around to people today and maybe you have to get reactions like
00:02:06.480 what do you think of this this is unbelievable it's the biggest blowout of our lifetimes which
00:02:10.160 it is you will likely find that the more conservative the person you call the more
00:02:15.900 pro-trump this person was two years ago the more this person is likely to say well this is a
00:02:21.720 disaster, of course, but I'm not entirely sad about it. In other words, this may not be what
00:02:29.460 we deserve, but it's definitely what the Republican Party deserves. And that is true.
00:02:36.360 That is absolutely true. And if you're a fair person, if you believe in justice, if you think
00:02:41.480 the guilty should be punished, it's kind of hard to look at the election results and say they're 1.00
00:02:47.060 wrong when you can say they're not preferable we don't want actually a transgender state 1.00
00:02:52.540 legislator in alabama like probably not going to help in any way and at the very least we have to
00:02:58.320 read a lot of stories about breaking the transgender ceiling or whatever it's going to be
00:03:03.000 more lecturing about transgenderism but you can't say that the republicans had it stolen because 0.61
00:03:10.620 they didn't they got exactly what they deserved and what they deserved was to be humiliated because
00:03:16.480 of what they did to the rest of us they literally tried to appoint lindsey graham's sister who may
00:03:23.220 be a nice person or who knows but knows nothing about anything by her own admission tried to give 1.00
00:03:28.860 her the senate seat and not just by appointment but like they stood her for election in south 1.00
00:03:33.800 carolina and she lost well there's another state when was the last time a democrat was elected to
00:03:40.740 the senate of south carolina probably should have checked before the show didn't it's been a while
00:03:43.460 you think of that as like core republican i mean that's that's the base i mean that would be like
00:03:50.680 a bethesda maryland going for trump it's just it's not gonna happen oh but it just did and again it
00:03:56.840 did because that's insulting like who do you think we are lindsey graham's sister i don't know i mean
00:04:03.380 no one's perfect but lindsey graham was of course the problem it was lindsey graham's program this
00:04:09.980 war that destroyed the republican party and he died unfortunately not gloating over his death
00:04:15.940 or anything but he died and that might have been the perfect moment to say well you know good guy
00:04:21.040 you shouldn't attack people after they're dead you really shouldn't show some restraint but like
00:04:27.040 maybe we just never talk about it again maybe we don't try and resurrect the failed and frankly
00:04:33.860 repulsive and anti-human policies of lindsey graham through his sister his hapless sister
00:04:39.140 it did feel like this is an overused phrase but it's a real one a humiliation ritual let's give 0.95
00:04:44.560 them lindsey graham's sister they'll vote for anything i can shoot a man in fifth avenue and
00:04:48.180 they'd still vote for me that's the spirit that conveyed to the rest we just don't care what you
00:04:52.980 think hey how about some lindsey graham's sister you'll eat it how about vivek ramaswamy no we'd
00:05:00.520 rather take the drunk lady which they did you had in state after state after state republicans voting
00:05:07.520 for Democrats, not because we don't think they agree with the program. In fact, they just voted
00:05:11.900 against the program two years ago this week, but because they have some self-respect and they're
00:05:16.960 not going to be treated like that. It's just so obvious the contempt. Trump and his cabinet and
00:05:24.300 a bunch of consultants got together and decided we don't care at all about the people who elected us.
00:05:29.940 we think they owe us somehow we don't owe them anything they owe us and let's see how far we
00:05:39.440 can push them let's see if we can run greg abbott for a fourth term or dan patrick the lieutenant
00:05:46.460 governor of texas a true mediocrity let's give him four terms and by the way the things that they
00:05:54.580 argue in favor of the policies they espouse will be super unpopular. So in the case of Greg Abbott,
00:06:01.260 the governor was the governor of Texas for three terms. He's facing off against a Democrat. You
00:06:07.260 know what the main issue, one of the main issues in that race was data centers. And across the
00:06:11.140 country, when put to a vote of actual American citizens, people say resoundingly, we're not for
00:06:16.120 data centers. Like, why would we be for data centers? I mean, this sounds kind of dystopian.
00:06:21.220 First of all, they're ugly.
00:06:22.360 Second, they gobble up the power in the water.
00:06:24.840 Third, what's the point of data centers?
00:06:26.100 Probably not to help me, probably to surveil me.
00:06:29.520 This feels a lot like a digital prison.
00:06:31.040 That is the view of a lot of people in this country,
00:06:32.840 the majority actually.
00:06:35.240 And so here you had the three-term governor of Texas
00:06:37.880 basically taking the side of data centers
00:06:40.360 and the Democrat was just like awake enough
00:06:42.380 or maybe she really meant it, who knows?
00:06:44.240 She's now gonna be the governor, so we'll find out.
00:06:46.340 She ran against data centers and guess what? 0.96
00:06:48.300 Most people agreed with her.
00:06:49.400 So not surprisingly, she won.
00:06:51.220 That's not hard. That's called democracy. But Republicans refused to practice it. 0.91
00:06:57.960 And so once again, they lost in a way that is generational. In fact, almost kind of no matter
00:07:04.200 what they do, given the numbers of it, if you game it out, there's kind of no coming back for
00:07:08.800 a generation. If a Republican somehow were to win in 2028, two years from now, and blow it out,
00:07:16.660 like biggest, of course, likely not going to happen, though, who knows, but can't imagine it.
00:07:21.220 But let's just say that did happen. And the Republican who wins in 2028 wins by, say, the same margin Richard Nixon won in 1972, which is the biggest margin in American history. They still would not control the Senate. They can't. So what could they do? Could they get any of their nominees confirmed? Like, you can kind of see what a huge deal this is, assuming that the current system continues.
00:07:43.060 And, you know, I wouldn't really assume anything right now because we're in a we're in a change moment, but we hope it continues.
00:07:50.140 Anyway, the repudiation of the Republicans was complete.
00:07:54.460 That repudiation, of course, was a repudiation of Trump.
00:07:57.300 And so we can say without hyperbole or gloating, this is the end of the Trump era.
00:08:02.840 Last night, we're done.
00:08:05.340 It's also the end, by the way, of the Fox News era.
00:08:07.240 a former white house staffer called today and described fox news as the president's real pdb
00:08:12.440 his real presidential daily brief the place where he gets his information
00:08:15.340 and there's some truth in that and it's hard to imagine that we would have gone to war in iran
00:08:20.920 if fox news hadn't broadcast specifically to the president who they knew was watching
00:08:25.260 specific shows the mark levin show the morning show he watches those they know that the anchors
00:08:30.720 talked to him and they spoke directly to him and they helped persuade him maybe more than
00:08:35.460 anybody else in this country. Of course, there was Netanyahu pushing from the outside of this
00:08:42.020 country. But within the country, the main lobby for this war was Fox News. And it's been systematic.
00:08:47.060 And it's not an attack made out of bitterness. It's just an observable reality. And you can
00:08:51.220 check it if you want, because the clips reside forever. They're there. And Fox News anchors
00:08:56.080 spoke as one, really with only one exception. In the entire lineup, there's only one person
00:09:00.640 was even mildly skeptical of the iran war that person of course has been denounced needless to
00:09:06.020 say as an anti-semite hitler adjacent but everybody else whether through fear or foolishness got on
00:09:11.500 board and and this is what they got a total destruction of the republican party so that
00:09:17.080 that's over i mean it'll continue they've got cable subscriptions and everything but like
00:09:21.280 this is we're done here with fox news we're done here with trump now that doesn't mean trump
00:09:27.000 himself has done he could conceivably serve out the rest of his term and we should just pause now
00:09:31.520 and say simply because the president and his party have been repudiated doesn't mean he's without
00:09:35.660 power because the president acts outside the country completely unrestrained by the constitution
00:09:40.240 there's no check and or balance on what trump does in the realm of foreign policy and that is
00:09:46.320 absolutely true until mid-january when the new congress comes in even if the new congress were
00:09:51.920 to exercise its constitutional authority to demand consent before starting a war which they
00:09:56.820 haven't done in, well, probably since the Korean War 75 years ago. But even if they were going to
00:10:02.900 do that, there's no one to do that until January. So at least until January, Trump could do literally
00:10:08.600 whatever he wants and nobody can stop him. It doesn't matter how unpopular he is. It doesn't
00:10:12.500 matter how loudly voters have shouted their disapproval. Absolutely doesn't matter. Our
00:10:17.240 system gives him total unrestrained power. And of course, the rest of the world is watching this.
00:10:22.260 and now seems like a good time just to add something that is true, which is our rivals 0.93
00:10:27.060 in this world, and that would include Russia and Iran, whether they should be or not is another
00:10:31.160 question, but they are, in practical terms, our rivals. We're at war with both of them. 0.95
00:10:35.300 Both understand exactly what has happened. Trump is weak. He has no support domestically, 0.96
00:10:42.840 but he still retains these executive powers. And they've sent very clear messages that if
00:10:49.580 the president were to act with aggression in Iran at any time in the coming weeks, that they would
00:10:55.620 act with no restraint at all against the United States and its allies, particularly against
00:11:01.840 Ukraine, against the six Gulf states, and against Europe. So just to be clear, the peril is not over.
00:11:08.940 Just because the public has said resoundingly, we're not into what you're doing, doesn't mean
00:11:12.020 that they'll stop doing it. And in fact, there is some indication that Trump will double down.
00:11:16.380 but in any case no matter what happens outside the country or within it this is the end of an
00:11:22.000 era you could sort of mark it on your calendar trumpism gone so that raises a couple of questions
00:11:26.740 what comes next is the most obvious and the answer is we're not exactly sure
00:11:30.880 but there'll be time to think that through in the meantime um it might be worth thinking about
00:11:35.700 two things one how do we feel about this and i think most people who voted for trump would
00:11:41.880 concede probably that they have mixed feelings about it they're sad um to see the party they
00:11:47.180 voted for a lot of their lives lose they think justice was likely done you can't like allow them
00:11:52.380 to appoint lindsey graham's sister you know run mike rogers you know just it was like probably
00:11:57.600 the only man in history who's lost two senate seats in consecutive elections like the voters
00:12:02.140 just rejected him last cycle but the donors put him back on because he's pro-israel so
00:12:06.100 voters are never going to go for that in the end if they have a choice they're not going to vote
00:12:11.320 for Mike Rogers and why would they? So justice was done, but it's sad. But there are also some
00:12:18.220 upsides which are worth remembering. One is that the happiness and the quality of your life is not
00:12:23.080 exclusively determined by politics. That's one lens. It's the lens that social media encourages,
00:12:28.600 encourages you to think about your life in global terms. And if everything is not working well in
00:12:33.120 the world, then I must be unhappy. But in real life, you've got a constellation of people around
00:12:37.620 you and probably healthier to judge your happiness by the strength of the relationships with the
00:12:41.660 people around you. So if your wife and kids are happy and your nephews are happy and your college
00:12:46.720 roommates are happy and your employees are happy, your co-workers, like, kind of hard to say it's
00:12:50.940 a bad day. So it's good to be reminded of that once in a while, right? Don't live outside your
00:12:57.100 life. Like, once in a while, pull back within it, look around. How's it going? The second thing
00:13:03.840 to think about is that with the end of Trumpism, there'll be end of definitely some good things,
00:13:10.660 but there will also, we hope and pray, be an end to the unceasing daily drama,
00:13:18.460 the kind of sitcom pacing of American life for the last 10 years. I mean, it's no surprise that
00:13:24.660 the top rated star on NBC has kind of scripted our national conversation along the lines of a hit TV
00:13:31.400 show for the last decade. And there have been parts of that that are great. And those of us
00:13:35.420 in TV recognize it immediately. We know what that is. Oh, that's a cliffhanger. We'll be right back.
00:13:40.060 Hold on. That's what we've been living through. But it's tiresome and it's hard on you to live
00:13:45.760 like that for too long. It's like following a drunk driver. It's lots of stopping and starting
00:13:50.520 and is he going to go off the road? Why is he going from 75 to 25? It's like he can drive you
00:13:55.780 crazy after a while. And there's no time to think clearly. And of course, that's probably not an
00:14:01.440 accident. It's by design. If you keep people totally off balance and distracted, you can do
00:14:05.840 pretty much whatever you want, but it's not good for the people watching at all. Non-stop drama
00:14:11.500 drains your adrenal glands and defeats your spirit. So it will be nice to have a kind of
00:14:17.480 stasis for a moment, a little bit of breathing room where we can at least assess what's happening
00:14:21.840 and figure out how we feel about it, slowing the pace a little bit is good for its own sakes.
00:14:28.200 That's the other thing to remember. But above all, we should be grateful to Trump, even if you voted
00:14:33.660 against him, even if you've come to despise Trump, even if you feel correctly that he sold you out
00:14:38.100 for a foreign country, which he did. And there's no forgiving that. Of course, there's forgiving it,
00:14:43.660 but there's no approving of it. There's always forgiving, but there is not approving. You can't
00:14:49.620 approved. That is immoral. It's wrong for a leader to choose another country over you,
00:14:54.740 just like it would be wrong for a kid to take the neighbor's kids to Disney World where his
00:14:58.720 own kids starved. That's immoral. That's exactly what Trump did. He chose Israel over the United
00:15:03.480 States. People lie about it, but everyone can see it. Super, super obvious. And that's just wrong. 0.82
00:15:10.080 The good news is, as noted, everybody can see it. And that is, in the end, the lasting
00:15:15.880 contribution of Donald Trump. Twenty years from now, we're still trying to figure out what was
00:15:21.160 that? How'd that guy get to be president and how should we feel about it? I think we're going to
00:15:25.100 have to be honest enough to admit that we should be thankful for the main thing he did for us,
00:15:31.880 which is to reveal the subterranean architecture of power. Trump, by his presence, by design or
00:15:37.920 not, it almost doesn't matter, pulled back the curtain and suddenly we could see how the system
00:15:44.180 actually works and it's been horrifying and it is the main reason that you often hear people say
00:15:52.080 all the conspiracy theorists are right how many times have you heard that it's a meme
00:15:55.480 well it's a meme because there's some truth in it most people especially over 40 grew up in a
00:16:01.260 country where the overwhelming majority of the population accepted that the official account of
00:16:05.500 things was probably roughly correct there was some lying and some secrecy but the whole system
00:16:10.220 wasn't based on it. And in the end, if you wanted to make a change, you would just vote.
00:16:14.560 And if enough people voted, the change would happen. And if there's one thing we've learned
00:16:19.920 during the last 10 years of Trumpism, it's that that's not true. And we know that because Trump's
00:16:26.940 2024 coalition was the broadest probably since Nixon, probably in 50 years. And it voted for
00:16:36.000 something very very specific and it got the opposite and so that tells us everything it
00:16:43.540 tells us that the system they told us was in place may still be in place in name but it's not actually
00:16:48.140 the system that produces the meaningful decisions in our society at all and because we've been
00:16:53.600 debating this for the last year and a half all of a sudden we can see exactly how things work and
00:16:59.360 it's ugly and it's horrifying it's making people paranoid and angry it's dividing the country
00:17:04.000 deeply. All of that is bad and certainly distressing. But it's essential to know if
00:17:09.700 you're going to fix it. You have to know what the problem is. You've got a leak in your ceiling. You
00:17:13.620 have to find out where the pipe broke or else you can't fix it. And now we have a much clearer sense
00:17:18.120 of where the pipes are and where they're leaking. So we should count ourselves lucky to see what
00:17:24.960 previous generations have not seen, which is how things, or a version, some of the truth about how
00:17:31.840 things actually work. So all of this pressure being applied to our political system and to
00:17:37.720 our society has revealed stuff that is absolutely worth knowing. And so if you think about it in
00:17:43.940 those terms, it's probably not surprising that the Republican Party was destroyed, which it just has
00:17:49.600 been. Now, it may be rebuilt. We hope, probably could use a second party just for balance in
00:17:54.280 this country. But as of right now, the Republican Party has been destroyed. And that shouldn't
00:17:58.180 surprise you it didn't take long at all in fact it took exactly two years to the week now why was
00:18:03.900 it destroyed well of course it had to be because donald trump again unwittingly or wittingly or
00:18:09.400 who knows we can only state conclusively what we saw happen he built a party that was a truly
00:18:16.340 nationalist party and it was nationalist much more than it was sectarian or partisan which is to say
00:18:23.720 trump was never a very enthusiastic republican there were a lot of democrats who voted for him
00:18:27.940 trump despite you know four years of propaganda about how he was a klansman or a racist wasn't
00:18:34.200 actually much of a racist no more than most people and the proof are the election results
00:18:39.460 from just two years ago this week in which trump got 30 percent of black men like the most reliably
00:18:45.700 democratic group of voters in the country voted for trump at 30 percent the majority of hispanic
00:18:50.300 men. Now, that's not race-mongering or box-checking or DEI. No, it's the antidote to that.
00:18:58.920 Because actually, what you don't want is that. You don't want a country where power is apportioned
00:19:03.800 along ethnic lines, because then you will wind up as Rwanda. It's inevitable. If you run the country 1.00
00:19:10.480 on identity politics, you will have ethnic violence, obviously. I mean, it's like the
00:19:17.640 story of all history. So try not to do that. And what's the alternative to that? Well, the
00:19:22.700 alternative to that is a politics that's based on things bigger than ethnicity. And there are
00:19:28.640 things, believe it or not, that are bigger than tribe, running it on ideas that actually pull
00:19:35.200 people together who have other core differences, but they're united in this one thing. And Trump
00:19:41.320 did it along the lines of what he called MAGA, make America great again, or more precisely,
00:19:46.000 America first. And it's a really simple idea. It's the core
00:19:48.020 idea behind democracy, behind
00:19:49.960 all government, really, which is
00:19:52.040 you put your country first if you run it. The whole
00:19:54.000 point of holding power in a country is
00:19:56.000 to serve the country over which you hold power.
00:19:58.520 It's like not a hard concept. In fact, there's
00:20:00.040 no other legitimate basis
00:20:02.060 upon which to rule. Either you're
00:20:04.060 serving your people or you're a criminal.
00:20:06.260 It's kind of that simple. And in our
00:20:08.120 system, that's literally true because that's
00:20:10.180 articulated in our founding documents. The
00:20:12.060 whole point is self-government.
00:20:13.220 so it's not like america first was some like radical theory you know that hitler thought up
00:20:19.340 or something no it's the only legitimate way to run any country and particularly this one so
00:20:27.660 trump was just bringing us back to center in his kind of crazy inarticulate way and people people
00:20:34.200 understood it even though he could never really explain it they kind of got it like why wouldn't
00:20:39.780 the point of the U.S. government be to help Americans? We can debate how, but what's the
00:20:44.980 other reason we would have a government? Oh, shut up, Hitler. Okay. And because they were so adamant 1.00
00:20:53.180 in denouncing it, you knew that this was probably a threat to someone's income or someone's power.
00:20:58.660 And indeed it was. In fact, it was such a threat. What was it a threat to? Well, it was a threat to
00:21:02.880 the system we currently have, which is a system that doesn't recognize borders or most ethnicities
00:21:09.040 or sort of any interest other than its own it's effectively a global government run by
00:21:15.140 well the deepest pools of capital that's not a conspiracy theory it's just clearly true
00:21:20.320 so the U.S. had no sovereignty and Trump was trying to restore that and people loved it the
00:21:27.700 majority of the Hispanic vote I thought he hated Hispanics and he sort of is it not a defense of
00:21:34.400 Trump I mean maybe he does hate his I mean you know who knows what he really thinks does it 0.65
00:21:38.000 really matter what matters is he assembled the antidote to atomization and violent conflict to
00:21:47.480 disaster the antidote to disaster which is like a way to unite the population against its bad
00:21:53.700 leadership and that's exactly what we need i mean that's the main thing that we need is the
00:21:59.080 recognition that most of us have more in common with each other than we do with the people looting
00:22:03.100 and mismanaging the country that's just objectively true sorry they don't like it when you say that
00:22:07.500 but it's not hate. What they're doing is hate. So don't be intimidated. And Trump wasn't
00:22:12.240 intimidated. But the second he did that, you kind of thought to yourself, can this continue?
00:22:18.020 Can they allow this? I mean, this is really a threat. Now we're getting toward the actual red
00:22:22.220 line. They're always like, oh, racism is the red line. Racism? I mean, like they don't care at all
00:22:26.500 about racism. Read the Jeffrey Epstein emails. Everyone's a Schwarzer. They don't care about
00:22:32.680 racism trust me what they care about are threats to their own power obviously and what trump
00:22:38.320 managed to pull off two years ago this week was an actual threat and so like somebody had to destroy
00:22:42.360 this coalition and the people who had the greatest interest in doing this were the neocons who are
00:22:46.520 the neocons well they're people who reject outright the core belief of the trump campaign of 2020 and
00:22:53.600 2016 and 2020 and every trump campaign which is why they always hated him and the core claim was
00:22:59.440 no we're doing this for us first like why wouldn't we we have to can't take the neighbor's kids to
00:23:04.440 Disney World if ours are starving and they hated that because of course they don't think that our
00:23:10.840 people should come first they think that Israel should come first and they just say that at this
00:23:14.840 point so they had to kind of destroy it and they absolutely did in about 18 months they took a
00:23:21.940 coalition which had all kinds of components to it people who didn't even know that they had similar
00:23:26.460 views or could be united. We're united. And 18 months later, it's just like Mark Levin.
00:23:31.960 Like a couple other people like, who's for this? Well, we found out yesterday, no one is for it.
00:23:39.480 Oh, why laugh? Because it's just so obvious and kind of hilarious. And of course, it can't be
00:23:45.720 allowed to stand. I mean, these people have no right to the Republican Party. They just got
00:23:50.200 there. I mean, by the way, these are all people who like reject the entire Republican Party
00:23:54.460 platform. They have no interest in anything that happens in this country, certainly not in the
00:23:58.680 condition of the family or jobs. I mean, these are the same people who lectured you about your
00:24:03.460 whining about prices. It was outrageous. You're not patriotic. It's like you are calling me
00:24:10.160 unpatriotic when you spend your entire life serving a foreign government. I don't think 1.00
00:24:15.060 I'm the unpatriotic one here, actually. And by the way, the Mississippi race, you may be wondering
00:24:19.660 like, how did a black Democrat in a state that's not majority black, it's got the highest black
00:24:24.360 population but nowhere near a big enough population to get a statewide victory like not even close
00:24:29.980 so a lot of white people voted for the democrat in mississippi how did that happen well because
00:24:34.800 the incumbent republican senator was doing a television interview and she was asked like
00:24:39.620 meat prices are kind of high people are concerned about beef prices and she goes looks right in the
00:24:43.580 camera and you can look it up it's amazing and she goes yeah find another protein find another
00:24:49.500 protein oh lentils like who do you think you're talking to who do you think you are you're like
00:24:55.800 some senator and you're lecturing me about how i should just find another protein your back of the
00:25:00.260 handing me i mean it's it'll enrage you to watch it and enrage the voters of mississippi to the
00:25:05.920 point where white republicans voted for the black democrat which is sort of a weird kind of inverse
00:25:12.900 of the Trump coalition of 2024.
00:25:16.580 It's people coming together across partisan lines,
00:25:19.620 across racial lines, in solidarity with each other
00:25:22.860 in the insistence, the very simple,
00:25:25.000 and not for Medicare for all
00:25:26.880 or whatever the actual program is,
00:25:28.580 but for the theme behind the program,
00:25:30.980 which is like, why don't they care about us?
00:25:34.000 They should.
00:25:36.620 You see what's happening here.
00:25:38.940 So in this very specific case,
00:25:41.580 which is the case of the last two years of the Trump administration,
00:25:44.300 we know exactly how this coalition got destroyed
00:25:49.240 and the Republican Party was taken with it.
00:25:52.820 We know exactly how, because Donald Trump,
00:25:54.700 who made the party all about him, was only about him.
00:25:58.840 Donald Trump chose a foreign country, Israel,
00:26:01.980 its interests over his own country's interests.
00:26:05.940 And like, there's no debating that.
00:26:07.800 And exit polling shows it.
00:26:09.160 I mean, there's really no other interpretation of it.
00:26:13.260 I mean, that's just factually true.
00:26:14.420 But that doesn't mean that your grandchildren will learn that in school,
00:26:18.480 assuming there still are schools then.
00:26:21.220 Why?
00:26:22.000 Because history is so often rewritten in real time.
00:26:26.220 So you imagine, as you look back and try to understand what happened in ancient Carthage,
00:26:31.220 or even, I don't know, during the French Revolution,
00:26:33.220 you imagine that we just don't have the right documents,
00:26:35.320 or we don't really know, you can't interview anyone involved.
00:26:37.720 which you never imagined but you should know and anyone in the news business can tell you this
00:26:41.460 because they watch it in real time that events the second they cease occurring are very often
00:26:51.140 maybe most of the time distorted in news accounts in popular histories and ultimately in textbooks
00:26:59.200 into something that does not even resemble what actually happened like people can lie
00:27:06.500 right at you almost as something is happening, and if they keep doing it long enough,
00:27:13.640 no one remembers that they're lying. Now, why is this bad? Well, it's bad for a couple of reasons.
00:27:20.040 One, it's an offense against the truth, which is a virtue in itself. We become strong when we tell
00:27:24.920 the truth. We are weakened when we lie. It's just a fact. But also because it's impossible to make
00:27:30.480 wise decisions down the road if you don't even know what happened in the past. One of the reasons
00:27:36.200 with some exceptions, including recently,
00:27:38.560 that planes don't crash very often in the United States
00:27:40.620 and commercial planes very rarely crash.
00:27:42.240 Why is that?
00:27:43.800 It's not just because of technological advances.
00:27:45.380 It's because the rigor that the regulatory agencies,
00:27:49.280 the one thing they do very well,
00:27:50.840 apply to analyzing why planes go down.
00:27:53.680 So when a plane crashes,
00:27:55.000 a team of investigators rolls in
00:27:56.960 and they kind of spare no expense
00:27:58.720 trying to figure out exactly what went wrong.
00:28:01.660 And then they broadcast it to everybody.
00:28:02.740 They're as transparent.
00:28:03.740 It's probably the most functional thing
00:28:05.680 the U.S. government does, and they tell every pilot in the world, this is exactly why the plane
00:28:10.260 went down, and here's our conclusion. You can draw your own conclusions, by the way. Here's the data.
00:28:14.840 And like, don't do this, or you could crash too. And that system really works, because they don't
00:28:20.080 try and rewrite history. The plane doesn't get down, and they like make up some lie about why
00:28:23.560 it went down, because planes would keep going down if they did that. Obviously. Well, if
00:28:30.300 your country keeps starting pointless wars in the middle east on behalf of israel and every single 0.87
00:28:37.600 time you lose you diminish your power you get your own citizens killed and you incrementally 0.96
00:28:46.440 go bankrupt maybe at some point someone be like this is a bad idea we can't follow israel into
00:28:51.680 any more wars well that hasn't happened because no one has been brave enough to say what's really 0.54
00:28:57.300 going on we did this in the Iraq war over 20 years ago 23 years ago we followed Israel's demands into
00:29:02.800 a war but that's been like basically erased from history ask anyone who's involved in it they'll
00:29:07.260 tell you oh that's absolutely what happened and was Netanyahu by the way same guy but you're not
00:29:12.000 going to find that in any textbook it's like oh George W Bush believed that there were weapons 0.63
00:29:15.400 of mass destruction well who knows what he actually believed but he was led to that by the Israeli
00:29:19.520 government the Israeli intel agencies for their benefit so because we weren't honest about that
00:29:25.720 because we allowed liars to distort reality right in front of us. We kept doing it again and again
00:29:32.480 and again. That's how Joe Kent's wife died in Syria. Why were we in Syria? Same thing. Same
00:29:37.060 guy, Bibi Netanyahu. You need to be in Syria. Okay, gas attacks, gas attacks, or whatever the lie was. 1.00
00:29:44.020 And then Iran, the big one, the one that actually ends American empire, that actually does bankrupt 0.95
00:29:49.420 us and really does threaten the dollar and a lot of other things. So the point is obvious. 0.97
00:29:55.720 it's really important to insist that history not be rewritten by the same liars, the same people
00:30:04.440 who always lie about history. Okay? No, you're not doing that. You can't steal my memory from me.
00:30:11.720 I know what happened. But already it's starting. And you see this whenever there's an event. You
00:30:17.080 certainly see when there's like a school shooting. Everyone jumps up on television. Well, actually,
00:30:20.000 The real lesson here is, you know, we need to get Coca-Cola out of high schools or whatever.
00:30:26.260 Like, everybody sort of puts their pet issue onto this tragedy and tries to leverage the tragedy to get their issue moved.
00:30:34.860 You're seeing the same thing happen in the hours after this election.
00:30:39.640 So here, I can't resist throwing this in there, but this is taped from a guy called Mark Short, who most people have never heard of. 0.84
00:30:44.780 He was at one time a big deal in Washington, a mocker in Washington. 0.77
00:30:47.880 he was mike pence's chief of staff seems like a small thing now kind of a hilarious thing actually 0.90
00:30:52.020 he followed pence into whatever pence went on to do take money from neocon donors to have some
00:30:58.900 think tank nobody cares about whatever but anyway this guy used to be a big deal in dc
00:31:02.160 and he was invited on bloomberg to explain as a kind of gray beard and like mark short knows
00:31:07.420 what's going on mark short why did the republicans lose watch this i think this was pretty much a
00:31:13.240 political armageddon for republicans i think it's uh it's a complete not just uh geographic location
00:31:19.200 but uh not just federal offices but state offices and i and i think it's a it's repudiation of the
00:31:25.220 last two years and i think there's no doubt that you know when when you're a party that um that is
00:31:31.180 uh advanced a trade agenda that the far left promotes when you're a republican party that
00:31:36.780 is taking over private sector companies when you're a republican party that no longer stands
00:31:41.480 for life. And when you're a Republican Party that is siding with ex-KGB officer Vladimir Putin
00:31:47.240 against a country fighting for its freedom, I think voters become disenfranchised.
00:31:54.000 Yes, Putin. We sided with Putin, the ex-KGB officer. See, it turns out when someone served
00:32:01.060 in a naughty intel agency, they're totally discredited from public service. Unless it's
00:32:05.560 like Abigail Spanberger or everyone else in Washington. Like half of our elected officials
00:32:10.400 in congress have worked at intel agencies unless it's bob woodward of the washington post was a
00:32:14.480 naval intel officer like they're all spooks actually he's former kgb officer all right now
00:32:19.940 but really mark short is telling us that voters were just mad they're just mad that we weren't
00:32:24.100 getting enough war like what we're not getting more ukraine war there are people trying to end
00:32:29.360 the ukraine war we want more war and they were so mad they just voted for democrats in the hope they
00:32:34.420 would get more war i mean it's like it's insane are there are there any data to prove that well
00:32:39.460 of course not. But trust us, if you keep repeating something long enough, like Russia's our main
00:32:45.660 enemy, they hacked the DNC, which by the way, spoiler, they didn't. But if you keep repeating
00:32:51.600 that enough, like you wind up at war with Russia, which we are, you can speak reality into existence.
00:32:57.600 Words create reality. Something that Trump understands, but very few seem to understand
00:33:02.760 that outside of politics. Words create reality. If you keep saying something, it becomes real.
00:33:08.780 it is a spell it's an incantation words are the most powerful force that human beings possess
00:33:14.320 including arms Russia did it Putin former KGB you allow people to talk like that unchallenged
00:33:22.280 your grandkids be like yeah you remember the Putin KGB election when the Republican Party
00:33:26.400 got destroyed but the one thing they want you to know above all is that the Iran war had nothing
00:33:34.920 to do with this. And by the way, just a little rule of thumb, if everyone in D.C. or everyone
00:33:39.740 on television or everyone on the social media channels is telling you one thing and they're
00:33:43.880 saying it fervently, whatever it is, Putin is our enemy, diversity is our strength,
00:33:49.300 you don't know what's true exactly, but you know for certain the thing they're saying is the
00:33:54.440 opposite of the truth. Like that we know. If I'm insistent to the point of being angry at you
00:34:00.140 in making my case you don't believe me diversity is our strength you're Hitler if you don't agree
00:34:06.320 with me I can be pretty sure diversity is not our strength I mean I don't know if I'm against it or
00:34:12.460 not but I'm pretty sure it's not our strength in fact I'm positive because it was our strength
00:34:17.820 you would just say you know I kind of think diversity may be our strength and you'd be like
00:34:20.880 oh that's interesting let me think about that I think Putin may be our main enemy well maybe he
00:34:25.540 is let me think about that but if you begin the conversation with Putin is Hitler and if you don't
00:34:29.400 agree you're Hitler too it's fair to say that Hitler and Putin have nothing to do with each
00:34:34.800 other in fact it was the Russians who defeated Hitler I think and that Putin is probably not
00:34:40.440 our main enemy in any case they are telling you the Iran war had nothing to do with this now this
00:34:45.660 is an amazing clip from our old friends people you always promise not to go back to but can't
00:34:50.800 resist somehow week after week this would be Mark Shapiro Mark Shapiro bench whatever Shapiro and
00:34:57.440 live in people probably never hear from after this week oh we hope and this is them a month
00:35:03.180 a month and three days or something this is in at the end of september before the election
00:35:07.320 when everybody who was following this at all even like on the level of instagram
00:35:12.480 everybody knew there was going to be a republican wipeout because of the war in iran everybody knew
00:35:19.920 that and they just wanted you to know that's not true at all watch when we look at the fox survey
00:35:29.500 iran is a four percent issue with the american people so whatever happens in the midterms it
00:35:37.200 doesn't appear that ron's going to drive anything one way or another what's your take on this
00:35:42.240 I think that's exactly right.
00:35:46.960 We need more of that.
00:35:51.460 Ben Shapiro, it's Mark Levin.
00:35:53.480 I think something completely insane to you.
00:35:55.260 Yes, I agree.
00:35:56.040 Absolutely.
00:35:56.840 It's in the Fox News survey.
00:35:58.240 Iran is 4%.
00:35:59.520 4%.
00:36:00.720 Who's being surveyed?
00:36:02.880 And what was the survey question?
00:36:06.020 Do you care about Iran as a nation?
00:36:08.560 Yeah, maybe that'd be 4%. 0.86
00:36:09.980 are you for destroying the u.s economy and paying a lot more for fuel and food and everything else
00:36:16.840 to get rid of their nuclear program or to please the lakud coalition in israel that might get a
00:36:21.820 different response but whatever no matter what their source whatever the data was whatever the
00:36:28.000 wikipedia citation that they throw at you it's the fakest thing ever and why is it important to say
00:36:35.660 that it's important to say that because the people on the screen you just saw destroyed not simply
00:36:40.360 the republican party but gravely damaged this country and not for the first time this is not
00:36:45.400 the first war that those people argued us into it's not even the third war that they argued us
00:36:53.220 into and the united states is bankrupt because of those wars and that's not an anti-semitic
00:36:57.980 conspiracy theory it's math trillions of dollars that we had to borrow and on which the interest
00:37:05.820 payments are now like overwhelming our federal budget so it's actually destroyed the country 0.98
00:37:10.640 i know it's not four billion a year whatever stupid number they threw out they're like oh 0.90
00:37:14.260 really four billion a year no it's your kid's future and that's totally real as a question 0.75
00:37:19.760 of math that's real and provably real so you know only god can decide like what happens to people
00:37:27.520 like that in the end that's definitely not our place we're not even going to speculate but we
00:37:31.400 can say as a matter of self-preservation and of course of justice but certainly just to just like
00:37:36.000 preserve our country people like that cannot make any decisions anymore ever they cannot participate
00:37:41.120 meaningfully in the republican party ever again and that's all of them it's not just like the
00:37:46.740 florid obvious grotesque ones with spittle on their ties on fox news those people are going away
00:37:52.300 they never meant anything in the first place there's the mouthpieces for those who are paying
00:37:56.960 them and for the people with actual power in the congress the republicans who didn't lose yesterday
00:38:01.880 and a lot of the democrats for that matter so it's got to be the end they cannot continue
00:38:08.800 to run this country because they're running it into the ground now you could say
00:38:12.480 you know it's undemocratic to have a small group you know people whose views are different from
00:38:17.960 the rest of the population run the country but the truth is there are countries where
00:38:22.760 you've got like a ruling class doesn't have that much in common with the rest of the country and
00:38:27.280 still does a pretty good job i mean jordan which is under the circumstance of very well-run country
00:38:32.720 is run by people who are not jordanian they're well they're really saudi they're the hashamites
00:38:36.380 they do a great job would you want them to leave no who else is going to run jordan i mean it
00:38:41.760 doesn't it could work but these people not only have no interest in the united states they're
00:38:47.680 openly hostile to the united states like to its core interest to its people its people are not
00:38:52.200 thriving and they think that's fine just import more people so they actually hate you i mean it
00:38:57.800 just couldn't be clearer like don't lie to yourself they don't like you and so they can't have any more
00:39:03.940 power period like under any circumstances like that's the non-negotiable point so if you're
00:39:10.700 republican you're probably not as mad at jd vance as you were at donald trump you're probably pretty
00:39:14.180 mad because like why didn't he speak up fair totally fair and this is not in any way like
00:39:19.840 an attempt to resurrect J.D. Vance or argue that he should be the nominee in 2028. Who knows what's
00:39:24.360 going to happen? If someone had asked you 18 months ago, will the Republicans lose every
00:39:29.020 statewide race in Texas? You never would have called that. I wouldn't either. So we can't see
00:39:32.720 the future. This has nothing to do with that. Sincerely, it's not shilling for J.D. Vance.
00:39:38.340 It is appreciating the truth when it's told, which all people should do. It is a virtue to
00:39:43.340 appreciate the truth for its own sake on its own terms. When someone says something true,
00:39:47.000 it doesn't matter who it is if it's true you should nod in reverent appreciation say thank
00:39:52.000 you for telling the truth because the truth is what matters and jd vance in a lengthy twitter
00:39:56.680 post which you probably read if you hadn't you ought to basically just says it out loud here
00:40:00.580 i check with the pollsters he's got skin in the game of course he's the vice president united
00:40:04.100 states like this matters to him and to his reputation and his future job prospects and
00:40:08.240 like he's involved in this and we want to know why we didn't just lose we got totally humiliated
00:40:14.700 and destroyed like it destroyed our party he says this in the in the post and here's why and let me
00:40:20.380 just read you what he said because it's true the top four answers from pollsters according accounting
00:40:25.260 for nearly all of the responses that we got to the question why are you voting the way you are
00:40:29.160 were one end the war two focus on cost of living slash inflation three put america first four
00:40:37.680 change our relationship to israel our vote continuing the quote our voters showed up republican
00:40:43.840 voters went to the polls yesterday and for the four above reasons many of them voted for democrats
00:40:49.900 imagine admitting that that's that's why you know it's true and virtuous here's a guy admitting
00:40:54.960 that people voted for him two years ago voted against him yesterday i mean you should always 1.00
00:41:01.300 admit the truth but it's hard and most people don't they're like oh yeah voters are stupid 0.97
00:41:05.320 no he's saying no actually they had good reason and here are the reasons and number one was the 0.97
00:41:10.860 war and then inflation they're not putting america first and what is this bizarre relationship we
00:41:18.320 have with israel why is everyone worshiping israel like what is that shut up anti-semite no not 0.84
00:41:22.680 anti-semite like but that's weird and creepy and wrong and by the way israel is committing genocide 0.67
00:41:27.300 so of all countries to worship why worshiping the genocide people that's very weird but if you think 0.74
00:41:34.120 about it all for those reasons which are undoubtedly true and if you are a trump voter who didn't vote
00:41:38.160 for Republicans yesterday or voted against them. And we know a bunch of those. And it's not because
00:41:41.220 they're liberal at all. It's because they're not liberal and they're mad. And they know
00:41:46.000 that they've been abandoned to what? Statist authoritarianism. That's what's coming next.
00:41:51.340 This is a total setup. Trump shows up, collects all people who want just like sensible nationalism,
00:41:57.020 America first. Why wouldn't you want that? Rug pulls. And the next thing you know,
00:42:00.980 you're getting statist authoritarianism. Like everyone feels that. So they're mad.
00:42:05.320 and that's why they're mad those four issues but you could sum up those four issues you could
00:42:10.680 condense the four into one by saying what what do they all add up to they all add up to the
00:42:16.360 perception which is real they don't care about me and if they cared about me why would they act
00:42:22.120 like this they clearly don't care we're suffering and they're focused on another country another
00:42:27.520 people. So there's not only lack of love, there's contempt. And why wouldn't they resent that
00:42:34.920 deeply? Why wouldn't they feel betrayed? Why would they feel emotional about that?
00:42:40.120 Well, they would, and they do, and they have every right and every reason to. And anyone who tells
00:42:44.620 them they don't have a reason to is a liar. But there's been no effort in DC at all other than
00:42:50.500 this tweet to reckon with this. And instead what there has been is an effort to browbeat people
00:42:58.620 into not saying these things, into somehow pretending it's not true. I don't feel betrayed.
00:43:05.420 I'm not mad that you're treating another country better than you're treating me. A country with
00:43:08.500 universal health care is getting, you know, $50 billion or something in the last couple of years
00:43:13.700 from the United States. Like what, when we're broke? And that's not even, you know, the costs
00:43:18.380 of our relationship with Israel are like,
00:43:21.280 anyone who tells you it's $4 billion a year
00:43:23.100 is just lying.
00:43:24.300 I mean, we're in the region.
00:43:27.000 And a bunch of our guys have died
00:43:28.440 as a result of that relationship.
00:43:29.880 So the costs are like enormous.
00:43:33.100 They're enormous.
00:43:33.880 They're genuinely enormous.
00:43:35.200 And if you care about this country,
00:43:36.240 you would admit that.
00:43:37.160 It's not anti-Semitism to admit
00:43:38.640 that it's costing you a lot.
00:43:40.460 Why is that hatred?
00:43:41.300 It's not hatred.
00:43:42.040 It's math.
00:43:43.820 Anyway, there's just been a huge effort
00:43:45.280 to lie about this
00:43:46.200 and people have caught onto it
00:43:47.800 thanks to trump's magical ability to reveal what's actually going on beneath the surface
00:43:52.240 and so we would say that the single most resonant ad and there were a couple of them this entire
00:43:58.320 cycle unfortunately it's not a republican ad should have been it wasn't it was an ad by abdul
00:44:03.500 al-sayed whose program speaking for myself i'm not in favor of a lot of it at all it was like
00:44:09.620 some weird covid doctor that's something that he needs to apologize for and a lot of other people
00:44:14.560 do too so it's not an endorsement of the guy but on this question who cares about you he made the
00:44:22.800 case that he did and he did a really good job now an outside group run by Cenk Uygur of the Young
00:44:30.880 Turks wrote this ad and put it up in Michigan and it got a great deal of attention it became the
00:44:36.680 focus of this controversy this was anti-semitic so if it was anti-semitic in real life we probably
00:44:42.960 wouldn't play it because you know there's no reason to engender like ethnic hatred there's
00:44:49.020 not one thing that's anticipating about this ad it's actually true it's real and watch it here's
00:44:52.640 the ad we get all the sandwich stuff for the kids lunch i don't like turkey anymore yeah i know what
00:44:59.660 about the bananas yeah i got them too but honey what you're gonna have to put those eggs back
00:45:07.100 they don't like eggs anymore no they like eggs but we have to set that seven dollars aside 0.99
00:45:12.540 for killing Palestinians. 1.00
00:45:15.580 What? 1.00
00:45:16.380 I mean, don't we give Israel
00:45:17.500 $4 billion a year anyways?
00:45:18.880 Yeah, and now we're giving them
00:45:20.340 another $26 billion.
00:45:23.340 Do you know how much that is
00:45:24.640 per American taxpayer?
00:45:26.560 No.
00:45:27.020 It's like $161 per person.
00:45:29.280 Apparently it's costing us 0.71
00:45:30.700 a lot of money to drop bombs on Gaza.
00:45:33.440 That's terrible.
00:45:35.160 Yeah.
00:45:36.540 Don't they get universal healthcare too?
00:45:38.760 Yeah, they do. 0.61
00:45:39.580 we're paying for that too probably might as well put the bananas back why the do we have to pay
00:45:46.360 for all this don't cuss at me why does mike rogers care so much about what israelis want
00:45:54.320 and so little about what you want mike rogers is for they them abdul and sayed is for you
00:46:03.360 you know except for the last line which is pretty clever actually you know is i'll say it for you
00:46:10.280 i don't know i guess we'll find out hope so you know but the rest of it is factually true
00:46:14.500 that was anti-semitic you're blaming jews for the price of bananas
00:46:18.940 no blaming american policymakers most of them are not jews by the way for siding with a foreign 0.57
00:46:27.040 country over our country and shafting us in the process and yes we are paying for the bombs 0.81
00:46:31.360 that are murdering children in gaza that's just a fact who else is paying for we're paying for 0.96
00:46:35.900 them you're paying for them and this war has driven up costs because it has constricted the
00:46:41.540 flow of commodities and i don't know if you understand like how supply and demand works
00:46:44.900 but that results in higher prices in every country including ours so like that's just a fact that
00:46:49.700 those are facts and if you watch cnn just because republicans are bad does not mean cnn tells the
00:46:56.320 truth just so you know or fox news that anti-semitic ad by hassan piker's uncle huh
00:47:02.420 what is it first of all it's just absurd and in the end voters realized it was absurd and by the
00:47:12.880 way including jewish voters so that anti-semitic ad runs and becomes the focus is immense controversy
00:47:18.340 Oh, man's anti-Semitic, I had a son, Piker's uncle, pogroms, pogroms, Kristallnacht.
00:47:26.520 60% of Jews, voters who are Jewish in Michigan vote for that guy.
00:47:34.780 So it's just like its own thing.
00:47:36.520 It's like there are a lot of interesting points you could make on the basis of that observation. 0.60
00:47:42.680 But the most obvious is, okay, if that's Jew hatred, why did he get the majority of Jewish votes in Michigan?
00:47:48.340 because it's not it's just true and if you keep telling people they're not allowed to say true 0.63
00:47:53.920 and obvious things because it's hate well you don't reduce the amount of hate by the way just
00:47:59.000 so you know kind of counterproductive as a strategy but you also drive people crazy make
00:48:04.140 them hate you there was a famous line throughout the whole liberal era which we hope never returns
00:48:09.720 because the most tiresome destructive period really until this period um but the republicans
00:48:15.960 would often say to each other conservatives often say shut up racist because that was a response 0.59
00:48:19.080 from liberals to everything shut up racist that was the kind of blm shut up racist and they'd be 0.97
00:48:24.740 like you'd be like black lives matter and you'd say well don't all lives matter shut up that's 0.99
00:48:29.180 racist all lives don't matter just black lives i feel like can you hear yourself that was called
00:48:35.320 identity politics and you really hoped and i think probably is polling on this from two years ago but
00:48:42.360 you really hoped the election of Trump would get rid of nothing else, identity politics. I would
00:48:46.420 say DEI. DEI. That was really just another word for identity politics. It was the idea that
00:48:52.260 you governed with the idea that some groups are more important than other groups. You can attack
00:48:57.980 some people, but not other people. All people are not equal, actually. Some people are worth 0.99
00:49:02.020 more than others. You can offend some, but not others. Well, there's nothing more anti-American,
00:49:07.040 anti-Christian more disgusting than that attitude. That attitude is actually the enemy 0.99
00:49:12.500 of Western civilization. That's the attitude that gets you genocide and slavery. And lots
00:49:17.320 of people throughout history have had that attitude, but you have to fight against it
00:49:20.000 if you can. And it certainly will not work in America because there's no working majority
00:49:25.100 of any group. So unless you find a way to unite people around something that is not their ethnic 0.72
00:49:30.580 or religious identity, the whole country will devolve into civil war. Obviously, like what's
00:49:35.660 the end game for identity politics in 2026 america there isn't one so the whole idea of trump was and 0.96
00:49:41.380 this was reflected in his coalition like we're going to rise above that crap but they almost 0.59
00:49:46.660 immediately almost day one started engaging in it but instead of blm it was jlm was jewish lives 0.98
00:49:52.520 matter well yeah they do just as black lives do and white lives and muslim lives and chinese
00:49:57.140 lives. Shut up. Just Jewish lives. Muslim lives are bad. It's like, wait a second. How is that 1.00
00:50:05.100 different from what we just lived through? I mean, the groups are different. And you could say, well,
00:50:09.660 I like Jews better than I like Muslims or better than I like black people. Okay, that's your 0.93
00:50:14.860 preference. But as a matter of government policy, the US government has to treat every citizen the
00:50:21.880 the same with the same rights the same presumption of innocence you cannot single people out on the
00:50:27.300 basis of their ethnicity or religion in the united states if you're the u.s government
00:50:30.580 maybe if you're a country club okay it's your private association though they'll of course
00:50:36.400 give you an fbi rate if it's the wrong kind of discrimination but the point is the federal
00:50:39.660 government can never discriminate and we thought this was established but all of a sudden the trump
00:50:44.100 people get in there they defeat dei and then start the jlm movement and by the end of it which
00:50:50.900 was yesterday. You've got Mike Rogers in interviews the last day of the campaign saying,
00:50:56.600 if I'm elected, I'm going to do something about anti-Semitism. As if the Trump administration
00:51:02.180 hasn't spent two full years making the fight against anti-Semitism its main cause for being
00:51:08.720 there. And by the way, don't vote for the other guy because he's a Muslim. It's like, can you 0.94
00:51:14.080 hear yourself? Is hating someone because he's Muslim better than hating for someone because 0.91
00:51:18.880 he's jewish and if so tell me how how is that better well of course it's not better it's exactly
00:51:25.960 the same but of course the one kind of hate and this gets to yesterday's results in a precise way
00:51:32.020 that no one ever really criticizes least of all the trump administration this may be the greatest
00:51:37.700 betrayal of all for which they should be ashamed but they're not the most obvious kind of
00:51:43.680 discrimination in the united states is anti-white discrimination which is like ubiquitous and still
00:51:47.720 in place encoded at the universities in federal hiring in corporate hiring and in federal
00:51:54.000 contracting it's still the law of the land jim crow is still in place it has not been dismantled
00:51:59.600 don't let them lie to you the civil rights division is like no we're we're here to fight
00:52:03.340 anti-semitism at harvard really is the and there should never be anti-semitism anywhere but
00:52:09.620 anti-semitism is no worse than anti-white discrimination or anti-muslim discrimination
00:52:13.900 or anti-anybody else discrimination. It's all the same. And if it's not all the same,
00:52:17.740 then none of it's bad. It's just a preference. This is a universal principle or it doesn't mean
00:52:22.180 anything. That's really clear. And this is the point that all of us, regardless of party,
00:52:28.920 have to insist on going forward because everything is at stake. All kinds of official
00:52:34.880 government discrimination against people are wrong or none of them are wrong. So we have to
00:52:41.520 say they're wrong. We cannot allow them. We have to have zero tolerance. But the Trump administration
00:52:45.640 has had enormous tolerance for this. They've had enormous tolerance for this. And it's reflected,
00:52:53.620 among many other places, in the job numbers. What's the unemployment rate for young white men?
00:52:59.240 Well, it's almost twice the national average. Why is that? Because they're the dumbest people.
00:53:04.260 there was an ad from sarah huckabee sanders the disgraceful governor of arkansas the other day 1.00
00:53:11.560 that was like attacking young white men for being welfare queens okay maybe that's true love to see
00:53:18.500 the numbers on that but maybe don't do that maybe don't do that maybe don't pick on people on the
00:53:25.780 basis of their ethnicity just because it's socially allowed no that's called bigotry and
00:53:32.980 it's disgusting. Don't attack people for being Muslim. It doesn't make you a Muslim lover to 0.99
00:53:39.000 say something like that. It just makes you an upholder of the standard that separates the West 0.78
00:53:43.300 from the rest of the uncivilized world, which is universal standards applied to the individual and
00:53:48.320 not the group. Identity politics is always wrong. Always. And also, as noted, it's completely
00:53:54.900 tiresome. And people get exactly what's going on. When you lecture them for two years about how
00:54:00.800 anti-Semitism is the main scourge we're fighting, that lecture begins with people nodding and being
00:54:07.860 like, yeah, anti-Semitism is bad. I'm against that. And it ends with deep cynicism, deep
00:54:15.780 cynicism, because people inevitably ask, wait a second, there's a lot of different kinds of
00:54:21.180 discrimination in this country. Why are you only focused on one? Oh, because that's the one your
00:54:25.940 donors care about? And by the way, why is it that a lot of people complaining about anti-Semitism
00:54:30.180 have been the leaders in anti-white discrimination.
00:54:33.120 The ADL, for example.
00:54:34.600 The ADL has abetted anti-white discrimination,
00:54:36.580 has demanded anti-white discrimination,
00:54:38.580 oh, for just like 50 years.
00:54:40.820 And then at the same time,
00:54:42.240 has the gall to lecture the rest of us
00:54:44.480 about anti-Semitism.
00:54:46.500 And it's like, yeah, anti-Semitism is terrible. 0.87
00:54:48.240 It's every bit as terrible as anti-white racism.
00:54:50.740 But you're only against one of them. 0.58
00:54:52.080 So get off the stage.
00:54:53.080 Get away.
00:54:54.780 You're not for real.
00:54:56.160 You're pushing a group interest
00:54:57.720 in a country with many groups.
00:54:59.140 and that cannot be allowed but they did allow it and by the way because they did allow it
00:55:05.920 it's going to continue because they didn't draw a line in the sand and say this is the country
00:55:11.800 that we claimed cared about race blind judgment of the individual and not the group they didn't
00:55:19.240 do that and so the democratic party which has no qualms at all about discriminating on the basis 0.52
00:55:24.140 of race in fact that's kind of the basis of the modern party is discriminating against white men
00:55:28.560 why because white men don't vote democrat that's why and they know that and so there has already
00:55:35.520 been like within an hour of the election results yesterday already been like signs that people
00:55:44.840 are blaming the loss in various races on the race of the candidate well they ran white guys
00:55:51.300 here's the instant tv analysis of mike rogers lost last night watch and i'm just gonna say it 0.97
00:55:56.920 That's because Mike Rogers is a boring white guy.
00:55:58.840 He is not asked to condemn things in the way that anybody who disagrees is. 0.96
00:56:03.980 And it is a horrible double standard.
00:56:07.760 Yeah.
00:56:08.300 So imagine she got up and said, you know, he's a Jew. 0.93
00:56:12.140 He's black. 0.97
00:56:13.440 I mean, look, that would not be acceptable. 1.00
00:56:15.120 And it shouldn't be.
00:56:16.240 It shouldn't be acceptable.
00:56:17.660 But it's totally acceptable. 0.97
00:56:18.840 She's like a white guy. 1.00
00:56:20.840 Shut up, honey. 1.00
00:56:22.000 You can't talk like that in my country. 1.00
00:56:23.440 You don't have the right to talk like that.
00:56:25.140 Nobody does.
00:56:25.720 and unless we say that it's going to intensely increase intensely you you thought the biden
00:56:34.740 era was hard on white guys the suicide rate goes up the employment rate goes down i mean these are
00:56:39.640 the results of government policies of course there's no free market in the united states
00:56:45.140 when you see the unemployment rate for young white men is twice the national average a little less 0.57
00:56:49.880 but almost twice it's not an accident that's the result of policies meant to hurt that group
00:56:58.740 period so if you think it's bad now so the rest of us regardless of party have to just draw the
00:57:07.420 line that the trump administration didn't draw and just say no mas the other thing that any party
00:57:13.940 looking to win the votes of young men and not just young white men but just young men black
00:57:18.680 Hispanic, anybody Asian, is remember that, you know, there's a gender element to politics always,
00:57:26.020 especially in a binary system. You've got two parties. So inevitably, one's going to be the 1.00
00:57:29.340 male party and one's going to be the female party. You're going to have the dad party and the mom 0.80
00:57:33.220 party. Why wouldn't there be that? And the Republican Party in the last few years has
00:57:42.100 really scrambled that binary, as they say. I mean, it's kind of become non-binary in a weird way.
00:57:48.680 And so there are a whole bunch of different races where you look at the people in the races. 0.54
00:57:53.260 And, of course, the Republicans are going to be more masculine.
00:57:55.840 The Republican Party is the party of restraint and vigor and, you know, fair play and the individual over the group.
00:58:03.780 Like, it's the dad party, obviously.
00:58:06.160 Always has been. 1.00
00:58:07.640 But you look at some of these races and you're like, wait a second. 0.97
00:58:10.740 Who's the dad exactly?
00:58:12.520 That Abdul Al-Sayed guy, now the senator from Michigan.
00:58:16.120 it. Compare him to Mike Rogers. Like, who's the man in that scenario? Seriously, who's the man?
00:58:23.680 Well, obviously, again, saying this to someone who does not agree with Al Sayed and a whole
00:58:27.260 bunch of things, never endorsed him despite the lies. It's obviously him. I mean, Mike Rogers is 0.56
00:58:36.280 just like another classic beta who loves war because he feels weak. And so it became really
00:58:42.460 clear that it's not just mike rogers who was a particularly disgraceful example but he's hardly 0.98
00:58:46.660 alone i mean it really is the party of closeted gay men who are like unhappy with themselves 0.98
00:58:55.140 and sort of only feel strong and alive when they're killing villagers in the middle east i 0.99
00:59:01.260 mean there's some truth in that actually and the closer you get to it particularly the u.s senate
00:59:05.940 the more time you spend with these people the more like actually that's not just a slur like
00:59:10.040 that's kind of real and but you don't have to be close to it to see it and that's kind of the point
00:59:14.900 so like young men are not going to vote for that and i think a lot of men who voted for trump two
00:59:21.160 years ago imagine that this was a masculine vigorous leader but then you know you spend
00:59:26.040 some time watching him and what do you what do you see here here's a guy who's vain and venal
00:59:33.900 and indecisive he's dancing to ymca 1.00
00:59:39.040 wait a second he kind of seems a little bit more like a bitchy old woman 0.98
00:59:47.580 than an alpha male i mean actually constantly talking about himself 0.78
00:59:53.680 every slight he catalogs well i remember the time that you said it's like wait a second this is the
01:00:01.020 man by the way let's dance to ymca with lindsey graham not calling him gay or anything but like
01:00:08.000 what is that i'll tell you what it is it's not appealing to men because it's not masculine it's
01:00:13.160 it's it's not masculine we'll just say that at all and so you're thinking like are we imagining
01:00:19.540 this has the dad party gone a little trans on us here maybe a little bit and then you see the guy
01:00:27.820 they trot out and they meaning like the whole apparatus from you know tp usa to fox news like
01:00:35.080 the whole get out the vote apparatus on the republican side which is nothing with the rnc
01:00:39.500 like they barely even exist to get out the vote is fox news and tp usa and so who's the who is
01:00:45.500 the face of this campaign now this is real it was this guy watch hey everybody this is scott
01:00:52.940 Pressler. I'm here with Davis and Brandon of Turning Point Action. Now we just wrapped up in
01:01:00.120 high energy electric event here in Manchester and so after the event we're knocking on doors
01:01:06.440 making sure that everybody is coming out to vote for our Republican candidates and Davis who is
01:01:11.920 running for the United States Senate here in New Hampshire? Johnny Sununu. And who do we have for
01:01:16.800 congress here brandon in this district we have anthony de lorenzo so new hampshire i stopped
01:01:24.040 what i was doing in pennsylvania coming to your state because i believe in you
01:01:27.920 make a plan to vote by tuesday november 3rd 2026 game on 0.95
01:01:32.340 we're so conservative that we're gonna send a transvestite to your house
01:01:38.700 we're just gonna do that that's how right wing we are we're gonna send a team of training right 0.93
01:01:44.520 to your house okay now the best line is i was so excited about new hampshire that i stopped what i
01:01:49.640 was doing in pennsylvania and your first thought is what were you doing in pennsylvania do we even
01:01:55.060 want to know like who's the audience for this like young men look at this and they're like
01:02:02.880 are you kidding like what no like no no meanwhile graham plattner who we've been reliably informed 0.99
01:02:11.940 was a nazi from maine was not allowed to compete because he's a nazi rapist okay 0.99
01:02:17.440 grand platter's like out there caught on video the other day by the new york post whatever 0.99
01:02:23.420 happened to grand platter so they send this like highly effeminate kind of bitchy new york post
01:02:26.820 reporter the conservative and he catches grand platter coming in from actual oyster farming like 0.54
01:02:31.500 alone wearing boots and grand platter's like get out of my face grandpa looks like you're gonna
01:02:35.840 kill him it's what everything of grand platter like you don't have to agree i don't agree with
01:02:39.600 everything grant platner says but like who's dad there is it the right-wing new york post 0.98
01:02:43.940 is it the guy who just came from pennsylvania because i'm so excited about new hampshire 0.50
01:02:48.040 i'm gonna come to your house get the hell out of my house 0.86
01:02:50.820 or is it grant platner it's like tossing an unfiltered camel into you get out of my face 0.92
01:02:58.560 right so like people experience politics as they experience life like on a pre-verbal level like
01:03:05.280 who's in charge who's dead who's decisive who's not making everything about himself
01:03:08.480 men don't make everything about themselves they don't whine all the time oh he was mean to me
01:03:13.680 once shut up woman stop stop someone needs to stop the republican party from acting like that 1.00
01:03:23.700 okay mitch mcconnell is gone you don't have to act like a nasty old woman anymore and if you 1.00
01:03:28.260 continue to no men are going to vote for you i mean a year ago if you'd done a survey to people 0.61
01:03:34.140 you know like what married man like straight man is voting for the democratic party like actually
01:03:39.600 like how much do you hate yourself if you're voting for the democratic you're a man like wake
01:03:45.180 up son you don't have to vote republican maybe disagree there but you're not going to vote for
01:03:49.240 the party of like angry women are you really and most didn't but you start doing stuff like this 0.99
01:03:56.140 doing the ymca talking about yourself all the time being a bitchy old woman yeah of course 1.00
01:04:00.580 people are going to vote for the other side regardless of the policies duh and the last 0.97
01:04:05.960 point to make just to sort of wrap up because it's important to say it out loud why did the
01:04:11.040 republicans lose yesterday whereas the party just decimated yesterday because corruption
01:04:14.700 because corruption is a species of the syndrome it's part of the problem we've been describing
01:04:21.460 which is a series of double standards that put you below the people in charge it's another way
01:04:27.340 of saying we don't care about you like you have to follow the rules and if you disagree of course
01:04:31.940 there's a flawed camera watching to make sure that you follow all the rules but we can do
01:04:35.480 whatever we want and that's been just incredibly obvious and the democrats of course are gonna be
01:04:44.280 like oh we're against corruption they don't want to talk about the war because they were for the
01:04:47.000 war chuck schumer was every bit as much for regime change in iran as donald trump in fact
01:04:53.760 probably more. Trump did it, not Schumer. But Schumer didn't constrain him and hasn't
01:04:58.620 constrained him. Democrats have not constrained Trump. So they don't want to talk about the war,
01:05:01.880 obviously. Not in a meaningful way at all. Their voters may. Their voters probably do,
01:05:07.580 but the leaders don't. So they're going to talk about corruption. So what are they going to do
01:05:11.200 about it? What are they going to do about it? Well, you know exactly what they're going to do.
01:05:15.440 They're going to have tons of hearings. They're going to make lots of noises with Trump and the
01:05:18.620 Trump family. Then they're going to wreck the lives of some pretty junior people. But how do
01:05:24.320 you think Jared Kushner is going to do at the end of that process? Jared Kushner, who, I don't know,
01:05:29.280 remember when he got into the White House in 2017? Basically, effectively, the chief of staff
01:05:36.020 and his family had this building at 666 Fifth Avenue, because like, you couldn't make any of
01:05:40.420 this up. It was literally 666 Fifth Avenue. They were like $1.8 billion underwater in this building.
01:05:45.020 couldn't sell it and then like you know year in with the help of our middle eastern allies like
01:05:51.640 they offload the building and then he begins the peace process the abraham accords which you may
01:05:56.080 not have heard but brought peace to the middle east are you aware of that we've got peace the
01:05:59.100 middle east because the abraham accords but during the course of negotiating those accords
01:06:03.180 he somehow raised billions of dollars for his own fund and then didn't deploy it for a long time
01:06:07.140 just kind of taking the fees on it but totally up and up so he's like the head u.s negotiator
01:06:13.260 trying to like avert nuclear war
01:06:15.140 and represent American interests in the region
01:06:17.740 and not just that region,
01:06:18.680 but also Eastern Europe,
01:06:19.500 the Russia-Ukraine war,
01:06:21.000 but he's also raising money for his own fund.
01:06:24.080 Not saying that's corruption,
01:06:25.380 but should we take a close look at that?
01:06:27.960 I mean, has anything like that ever happened?
01:06:30.820 And do you think he'll be punished for that?
01:06:32.440 What do you think the chances
01:06:33.140 that Howard Lutnick is going to be punished?
01:06:36.440 Would you put them at zero or below zero?
01:06:38.760 Probably in that range, right?
01:06:40.320 Same with Jared Kushner.
01:06:41.620 but what you can be certain of is that some guy who showed up in dc or more likely some girl who
01:06:47.960 showed up in dc like i love donald trump i work at the white house and they do and next thing you
01:06:53.200 know you watch this happen in the next year they're gonna be the front page of the washington
01:06:56.420 post five days in a row and they've turned on the administration and their lives will be
01:07:00.200 completely destroyed completely destroyed some of them go to jail but like jared kushner
01:07:06.420 Howard Lutnick, both of them are Democrats, by the way, actually.
01:07:10.580 How are they going to do?
01:07:12.080 I think they'll be fine.
01:07:13.600 Just a guess, just a guess.
01:07:16.080 So the moment at which the rest of us realized that,
01:07:20.200 and some of us took a long, long time to realize this, I'll admit it,
01:07:23.980 that there's like actual corruption going on in this administration
01:07:27.220 was last summer, it was in July.
01:07:29.600 And it was when the Epstein files resurfaced as an issue.
01:07:33.060 And this is kind of underrated, I think, as one of the causes for yesterday's disaster.
01:07:37.720 The Epstein files revealed not simply that there was clearly something very, very dark
01:07:43.700 going on with this group of people who have a ton of power, but that the people currently
01:07:48.740 in power who were elected to expose those people who had power were also part of the
01:07:55.220 same group, that they were actually members in good standing of the Epstein class.
01:07:58.860 And if they weren't, then why didn't they declassify the files?
01:08:01.180 so a lot of us are a little slow to pick up on this really slow because it was so shocking
01:08:05.340 but it began to become clear that hidden architecture began to surface
01:08:11.280 this moment this is during a cabinet meeting last summer watch so could you resolve whether
01:08:18.780 or not he did and also could you say why there was a minute missing from the jailhouse team
01:08:22.720 yeah sure if i could i just interrupt sure are you still talking about jeffrey epstein
01:08:29.620 this guy's been talked about for years you're asking we have Texas we have this we have all
01:08:36.080 of the things and are people still talking about this guy this creep that is unbelievable do you
01:08:44.640 want to waste the time and do you feel like answering I don't mind answering I mean I can't
01:08:49.080 believe you're asking a question on Epstein at a time like this where we're having some of the
01:08:53.440 greatest success and and also tragedy with what happened in texas it just seems uh like a
01:09:00.980 desecration yeah it's a desecration and what was happening in texas last summer can't even remember
01:09:07.020 um of course but what's interesting is that no one in the meeting said hey don't talk like that
01:09:11.700 i don't care you're the president don't patronize people like don't you dare speak to me that way
01:09:16.920 you're you're getting high-handed with me because i asked a legitimate question about crimes that
01:09:23.140 were committed and you're not revealing what those were who committed him and by the way it's not
01:09:26.580 about epstein because he's dead and by the way were you aware that he was murdered in federal
01:09:30.880 lockup during your administration with the knowledge of your attorney general like answer
01:09:34.940 some questions there no one's ever even asked that but how dare you whip around and try and
01:09:41.860 make me feel guilty for asking a question about a justice system that we own that you administer at 0.65
01:09:47.000 our request with our permission and our votes like how dare you shut up old man and answer the
01:09:53.060 question and it's like that didn't occur to anybody because people are so cowed and cucked 0.99
01:09:58.960 and pathetic they're like okay sorry didn't mean to ask about the molestation of children 0.98
01:10:04.680 like who would put up with that well all of us actually and the democrats do you think they're 0.99
01:10:11.460 apparently 2 million at least. We don't know. I don't know. But that is the number that I've been
01:10:17.460 told and I think it's been reported about 2 million remaining Epstein files, including the
01:10:23.240 ones that bookend 9-11, which would be really interesting to see. We have a right to see and
01:10:27.720 they belong to us. They're public property. Will the Democrats compel their release? That'd be
01:10:33.980 really interesting let's just make it really clear this is not an attack look the republicans
01:10:41.080 deserve to lose so this is not a defense of the republicans in any way but if you demand something
01:10:47.000 from the republicans you are under moral obligation to demand exactly the same thing from the democrats
01:10:51.980 that's corruption hiding that is corruption corruption is a set of standards that do not
01:11:00.600 apply equally to people. There's one standard for you because you have power. You're in the
01:11:05.340 right group. You're the right ethnicity or whatever. You're special. And the rest of us
01:11:09.980 have a whole separate set of rules that apply only to us. That is corruption. That's the
01:11:15.160 definition of corruption. And the Epstein files are the clearest window into it. And it's not
01:11:20.560 maybe strictly speaking financial corruption, but all corruption is the same thematically.
01:11:25.860 So if you're against corruption in one administration, you have to be against it in
01:11:28.780 the next will the democrats compel the release of all the epstein files no matter what they say
01:11:33.480 i mean that's the acid test we'll find out and if they won't then i mean it's time for
01:11:40.140 it's time for real reform so christianity began thousands of years ago in what we call the holy
01:11:45.020 land but today some people would like christianity to die there we're talking about the israeli
01:11:51.160 settler movement extremist violent dangerous and very anti-christian also supported at the
01:11:57.900 highest levels of the U.S. and Israeli governments. American taxpayers literally pay for Israeli 0.54
01:12:05.320 settlers to murder Christians and Americans and attack them. And the Senate, for example, 0.99
01:12:12.020 goes out of its way to pretend it's not happening. Senators just voted against disclosure on the
01:12:16.700 killings of nine Americans in the West Bank. Probably the senator represents you. Talking 0.93
01:12:22.100 about you, Rick Scott of Florida, and many more like you. Well, the Vulnerable People Project is
01:12:27.500 fighting to end these atrocities. The Vulnerable People Project is a Christian movement, sincerely
01:12:33.760 a Christian movement, nonviolent, Jesus-focused, that seeks to build a safe home for Christian
01:12:39.880 children in the Holy Land, a place where they will not get attacked and murdered by Israeli
01:12:44.400 terrorists supported by the U.S. Senate. The Catholic pastor in the last all-Christian town 0.94
01:12:50.260 in the West Bank has a very simple plan. Create a children's center called Kids' Kingdom. It's a 0.72
01:12:55.340 place for kids to play, make friends, learn the Bible, and grow in their Christian faith.
01:13:00.620 This shows listeners can make all of that happen. So many appeals you see based on
01:13:05.500 the Holy Land are in fact scams that support anti-Christian violence, but this is not.
01:13:12.600 Your support at SaveWestBankChristians.com will help create a place where these children can
01:13:17.740 thrive in the birthplace of our faith. Visit SaveWestBankChristians.com. SaveWestBankChristians.com
01:13:27.720 to help build kids' kingdom. Give Christian children a future in the land where Christianity 0.56
01:13:33.220 began. We could go on forever, but we won't because we have a guest who's got a much more
01:13:39.100 precise understanding, who has the actual numbers, the data as we say in the politics business
01:13:43.800 about what happened yesterday and he is one of the rare pollsters we trust we think is coming
01:13:50.060 from an honest place and is committed to just being straight about what's happening his name
01:13:53.720 is rich barris he's joined us before rich thanks so much for doing this thanks for having me back
01:13:59.280 tucker it's good to be here so that happened so that yes that happened so one of the reasons it
01:14:04.280 happened there was the war and the war was directly related to the second reason which
01:14:07.740 was the trump administration from the first week from january 2025 made this about identity politics
01:14:12.480 We're here to protect Jewish Americans from persecution because the greatest threat this country faces, the head of the Civil Rights Division has said this, the head of the FBI, the head of DOJ, everybody.
01:14:22.800 Anti-Semitism is America's biggest problem.
01:14:25.080 And so they sort of weaponized the entire government in this JLM movement to protect Jewish Americans, which, by the way, I'm for protecting Jewish Americans and all Americans.
01:14:33.860 But I just wonder if that effort was reflected in yesterday's vote totals.
01:14:41.780 like tell us about that well if that was the goal then that was the most unwise move i've ever seen
01:14:49.840 uh in politics because this coalition that trump put together and i've said it a million times you
01:14:55.660 just said it too this is not a typical republican coalition this was the younger the less white
01:15:00.640 coalition and it had the potential to govern for 30 years tucker and if you know the rights panning
01:15:06.280 on and on for how many years now throughout the obama era we got to save the country the country's
01:15:11.280 going down the tube so they get together this coalition that can do that for 30 years and they
01:15:15.720 blow it up for two percent of the population even if we assume even if for a second we assume
01:15:20.580 that that entire two percent of the population agrees with that agenda which by the way they 0.53
01:15:26.300 don't and we can get into all right even if we assume that though uh that would be basically the
01:15:33.140 most mentally stunted uh political maneuver ever in the history of politics i mean this was i i'm
01:15:40.380 not sure people have fully come to appreciate what was given up last night yet uh you brought
01:15:45.460 some of it up but so much more than that i'll be 55 before republican have a real shot at winning
01:15:52.620 the senate again 55 years old my youngest son which i have two older kids my little ones my
01:15:58.820 midlife crisis baby he'll be the age of my oldest son now who's getting ready to go away to college
01:16:05.320 next year and he's seven that's how much damage was done to Republicans prospects of saving the
01:16:12.220 country in the name of this agenda and it's funny because again I'm looking at uh the exit polls
01:16:17.800 going over the exit polls it looks just like our pre-election polling which we were attacked for
01:16:21.460 for nine months you know for uh and we came on your show after Massey was defeated you know they 0.52
01:16:27.740 clipped all these little clips of me and we talked about the Epstein class that is what they ran on
01:16:32.780 It was literally called the Epstein class.
01:16:35.480 And it was this idea that Republicans promised to hold the rich accountable and to not forget about the little guy and never start a new war in the Middle East.
01:16:43.200 But what did they do? 0.54
01:16:44.640 They covered for the Epstein class. 0.79
01:16:46.660 They started a new war in the Middle East and they forgot about the forgotten man. 0.88
01:16:49.840 And how much did how much of doing all of that, how much gain did they make with the Jewish vote? 0.78
01:16:58.420 Nationally, they gained about eight points from 2024.
01:17:01.980 That's it.
01:17:02.540 eight points of two percent so congratulations and in in return for that you blew up all your 0.99
01:17:09.340 young men you slid all the way back to the obama era with with non uh with hispanic voters you 0.64
01:17:15.900 backslid even more than that in texas tallarico stomped paxton into the ground uh you know worse
01:17:21.520 than hillary clinton did in some of these counties which trump later flipped this will take this is
01:17:26.540 generational damage and by the way the census is coming up in 2030 which should have been used by
01:17:32.520 the right to ask the citizenship question, which would have locked Democrats out of the House and
01:17:37.420 the Electoral College for roughly 30 years. But that's not going to happen now. The Democrats are
01:17:42.580 going to, because of the stunt, it's kind of a half sun, you know, with redistricting, that
01:17:47.300 redistricting war that they barely won, they'll get payback for that. And now they're going to
01:17:53.440 do it to the right. And this is what happens all the time. The right plays this game of chicken,
01:17:58.380 tucker they prioritize these stupid things the left is happy to play it because they know it's 0.99
01:18:03.800 not really a game of chicken the right's going to swerve and that's what happened here and you know 0.99
01:18:08.240 all these governorships there's real consequences for that in 28 real consequences a governor in a
01:18:13.620 battleground state can make sure you don't win that battleground state that's just a practical
01:18:18.140 reality so it's like trump destroyed single-handedly destroyed in a year this the most promising
01:18:25.580 nationalist coalition assembled certainly in our lifetimes hard to see that as an accident
01:18:30.740 it seems systematic it seems on purpose it seems like that was the actual agenda is you can't have
01:18:36.620 a multi-racial coalition people who can't be inspired to have a race war which is always 0.50
01:18:42.160 their move just have a race war and like forget that we're looting everything who just like care 0.84
01:18:46.200 about the country and that couldn't continue so trump was the instrument to destroy it that's how 0.80
01:18:50.840 i read it yeah look at a state like michigan we're talking about you know this multi-racial
01:18:55.640 coalition he actually did better in michigan than he did in wisconsin in 24 because michigan is so
01:19:02.180 more multi-racial right and wisconsin's whiter and more rural and michigan has has a hispanic vote it
01:19:08.400 has a black vote it's got an arab vote it's got a jewish vote and trump managed to raise all of
01:19:12.980 his vote shares all at once tucker which is quite the feat i actually think it's more impressive
01:19:18.580 than reagan reagan won of course many more states but it was much easier to win in a landslide like
01:19:25.180 that 1980 even 1984 than it was to do what donald trump did in the year 2024 but that is a war
01:19:31.760 the warnings are over that is what republicans need to come to understand to really be able to
01:19:38.160 grasp the depth of this setback look at what happened to the country between 1984 and 2024
01:19:44.560 how much more damage in the demographic clock do you think will run up by the time you get your
01:19:50.720 next shot right it's going to be that much harder it was the absolute worst time to blow the
01:19:56.660 coalition up because he got it right as a hail mary we're at a point where we're reaching a 0.83
01:20:02.020 tipping point and if republicans didn't start to win more of the hispanic vote do a little bit
01:20:06.400 better with the black vote um you know and claw back some of the suburban white vote then they
01:20:10.800 weren't even going to be a serious national political party and that's where trump found
01:20:14.540 the republican party right you gotta give him credit for that he resurrected it like jesus
01:20:19.220 resurrected lazarus from the tomb and he brought it back to life but at the other hand of that last
01:20:25.780 night was the most it is the destruction of the republican party as we know it has to be completely
01:20:30.520 rebuilt it's the worst defeat for an incumbent party since watergate we should probably take a
01:20:36.280 second and reflect on how that could have happened yeah and it's not hard tucker it's not it did start
01:20:42.740 with epstein and that laid the foundation and people started asking themselves what's going on
01:20:49.020 what's happening here i'm not sure i like you know i'm getting a little whiff of something i'm not
01:20:52.340 sure i like it and then operation midnight hammer that very next week they lost their lead on the
01:20:57.320 generic ballot it never came back trump's approval just continued to go negative and then he went
01:21:03.040 full kinetic war and that was a wrap that is that is way beyond read my lips no new taxes
01:21:08.800 remember that which ended up in the fracture of the ross perro coalition which took eight years
01:21:13.860 to put the republican party back together i mean this is this is another level i mean domestically
01:21:20.700 they never stopped lecturing us about anti-semitism in the way that the biden people never stopped
01:21:26.560 lecturing us about how whites were bad kamala harris never stopped lecturing us biden is whites 0.99
01:21:29.480 are bad whites are bad okay got it you hate whites yeah how dare you by the way the trump 0.99
01:21:34.420 people never stopped telling you that the main problem in the country was anti-semitism and i 0.99
01:21:37.900 kept waiting for like okay well what okay show me how i haven't actually seen really any anti-semitism
01:21:42.780 in my life but whatever was apparently all there how jewish voters didn't flock to the republican
01:21:48.620 party they didn't feel protected and loved so it was a movement of eight points what percentage
01:21:53.140 of jewish voters according to exit polling voted republican yesterday
01:21:56.380 uh about 30 percent and they usually win no i'm not kidding i actually have it right here it is
01:22:03.880 and by the way michigan is laughable uh democrats won 68 democrats won 31 nationally in michigan
01:22:10.940 where they made this huge play abdul el sayed he's a muslim and he's a socialist muslim well
01:22:17.000 you should have just left socialist out of it because let me tell you a little secret american 0.76
01:22:20.380 Jews are leftists, hardcore leftists. They're among the most hardcore leftists. And they're 0.65
01:22:26.220 also the single, when it comes to religious demographics, no religious demo outside of
01:22:33.740 American Jews opposed the Iran war more. Not Catholics, not Protestants, mainline Protestants,
01:22:40.760 evangelical Protestants, none. They were the most opposed to the Iran war. They don't particularly
01:22:45.900 like benjamin netanyahu this is another thing we have this faction on sorry i'm just letting that
01:22:51.580 i know i'm letting that penetrate that well yeah it is good good let me just say good for them
01:22:56.940 for opposing it because the war is wrong and it hurts the united states but that's
01:23:00.780 amazing you would not know that if you watch fox news which i don't but i see the clips occasionally
01:23:05.200 it's like if you're against this war you hate jews but you're saying jews dislike this war
01:23:10.420 more than any group more than any group and there's more there's one let's look at in michigan
01:23:15.280 which I just brought up, Abdul El-Sayed. Look, he won 60% of the Jewish vote. Mike Rogers did win
01:23:21.700 38, which is of course still a loss. About 5% left their ballots blank. We've been looking at this
01:23:27.040 all day. They just threw their vote away, which means they really didn't like either one. Maybe
01:23:31.040 they did. They weren't comfortable with Abdul El-Sayed for whatever reason. We can speculate
01:23:35.380 on that, but they still were not ready to take the leap and vote for a deep state Republican
01:23:39.660 like Mike Rogers. And I'm not surprised at all by that. This is a longstanding vote pattern,
01:23:44.180 not just for uh american jews in in michigan but elsewhere i mean they are left-wing they would
01:23:50.060 if if there weren't the other questions about el sayed his policy platform is right up their alley
01:23:56.680 they would love it they voted for barack obama overwhelmingly even though sean hannity and fox
01:24:00.940 news and everybody else mark levin and the rest of them tried painting barack obama as a muslim
01:24:05.820 for eight years right and muslim socialist by the way for eight years and he won michigan by 12 once
01:24:11.500 and six the next time if you look though and how much how many votes did that even net rogers to 0.54
01:24:16.760 do this to blow all of this up it's it's statistically insignificant so you have to
01:24:24.000 look by precincts okay i'm serious you can't go through the exit polls because it's not a big
01:24:28.520 enough sample but if you look at the 70 plus precincts it's actually a little bit misleading
01:24:33.980 basically there was a 1.2 percent shift towards Mike Rogers from Alyssa Slotkin in 2024 that's it
01:24:44.620 and in exchange for that of course Al Sayed he had a great ad actually about his faith he didn't 0.95
01:24:52.000 make it about being a Muslim uh he crushed it in Dearborn which more than more more than 0.88
01:24:58.160 overwhelmed whatever a little you know puny little uh gain he made among rogers made among 0.90
01:25:03.920 american jews in dearborn which trump won just two years ago he won about 45 38 and the rest
01:25:09.920 again through their votes the lower ballot people they weren't ready to vote republican but it was
01:25:14.040 still a feat nonetheless for donald trump this time however they voted over 80 for el sayed
01:25:19.340 and mike rogers got i think it's tucker i think it's like 17 it's like yeah i mean it's it's
01:25:25.840 nothing it's absolutely nothing so was it worth it because that's not the only group that you gave
01:25:31.180 up for this and it's also again worth noting that we've been lectured over and over again
01:25:35.680 by the faction the neocon faction about anti-semitism when in truth we can all stop now
01:25:42.720 pretending with these numbers that i just rattled off we can all stop pretending that they speak for
01:25:47.220 american jews they do not the mark levins the ben shapiro's and i'm not picking on anybody it's
01:25:52.960 just a fact. They're a small faction, a small minority. They're the fringe when you compare
01:25:59.920 them and their views against other American Jews. They are not the majority. Their viewpoints do not 0.51
01:26:07.460 represent the majority of American Jews. They're not even popular among them. So to sit up there
01:26:12.860 and pretend you're the arbiter of who is and who is an anti-Semitic based on whether or not you
01:26:17.720 support for foreign aid to a country or a war. The whole thing is ludicrous. And in exchange for 0.97
01:26:25.060 this silly little debate, you blew up your reputation, your brand with these millennial
01:26:31.540 and Gen Z voters. And that really is the danger here because we're entering a new place in
01:26:36.100 politics. A lot of people didn't believe me that this wave would be this big, which I've been
01:26:40.760 calling for a while. And they didn't because they believed, well, Trump just won these states by 13
01:26:45.760 plus you know ohio iowa and the rest of them they can't possibly swing that much but they can when
01:26:51.740 you realize that we're outside of the era of partisanship and we're outside of the era of
01:26:55.700 ideology we're now in a transactional age here when voters vote for you they're going to demand
01:27:02.080 something the era of performative politics is over and people just didn't let that sink in they just
01:27:08.280 couldn't grasp that including republicans democrats will probably wind up learning that lesson too if
01:27:13.320 they don't if they don't deliver here then they're going to be held to account the problem is you know
01:27:18.960 it's like you said what does that even mean if republican if a republican candidate was to go on
01:27:24.880 and win 400 plus electoral votes in 28 because democrats overreact so bad my response to that is
01:27:30.580 so what the senate will still be in democratic control the clock keeps ticking you really blew
01:27:36.600 it here i mean you you gave up a golden opportunity opportunity that people who do what i do kind of
01:27:42.980 saw as a god wink you know like god is giving you one more chance fix it right the ship and it's
01:27:49.880 funny because i didn't even appreciate it until later speaking to all of these young men and all
01:27:54.360 these voters who were just so depressed tucker as a pollster i've never heard suicidal ideations
01:28:00.620 before you know people i mean these these people were they were in despair and when you give people
01:28:07.780 hope desperate people hope and then you rug pull it from them you just take it from them and you
01:28:12.920 say you know what i never meant it because that's what you say when you go to social media and you
01:28:17.700 say if you care about this i don't want your support anymore if you don't like the bombing
01:28:23.300 of iran well get this maiga when you do that and then you you're twisting the knife you already 0.55
01:28:30.420 stripped them of their hope you took it from them and then you twisted the knife on them
01:28:34.520 they were going to punish you and they punished you ben you know what we deserved it we deserved
01:28:38.920 every single bit of it.
01:28:41.060 Haven't lost Kansas in 100 years.
01:28:43.520 Good job. Good job.
01:28:45.320 I mean, that's real.
01:28:45.940 There really is nothing else to say.
01:28:47.720 The results speak for themselves.
01:28:49.400 They made their voices loud and clear.
01:28:51.260 Most of us have been raised to believe
01:28:52.780 that the only path to success in this country
01:28:54.860 is to go to some college
01:28:55.840 and then spend your life behind a desk.
01:28:57.860 But of course, that's a lie.
01:28:59.460 America needs people who know how to do things,
01:29:02.140 how to build and sustain things.
01:29:04.820 The infrastructure of our country, for example.
01:29:06.280 And that's why our partners at Defend Cellcam
01:29:08.120 are launching a new program to award $150,000 to American workers across the country.
01:29:13.240 The money will help hardworking people pursue careers in the trades
01:29:16.500 that this nation needs to thrive and survive.
01:29:21.140 DEFEND's business success makes the Blue Collar Scholar Program possible.
01:29:24.280 When you buy a DEFEND camera, you're helping support the next generation of tradesmen.
01:29:27.820 Plus, you get a DEFEND camera, which is the best.
01:29:30.240 There are a few better ways to keep your family and your property safe.
01:29:33.160 Visit defendcellcam.com slash workforce to learn more about this.
01:29:36.960 apply or nominate a blue collar scholar yourself and if you're picking a camera use the code tucker
01:29:41.780 to save 20 who who did this i mean i know i mean there's the political team at the white house
01:29:48.760 james blair and the rest hope obviously none of them ever work again um but and there's trump
01:29:54.940 obviously but like who was behind the idea that you spend the entire two years screaming at
01:30:02.900 everyone else about antisemitism and basically ignore their priorities let them die which is
01:30:08.440 what they've done and allow anti-white hate to go completely unchecked unrestrained which they have 0.82
01:30:13.280 done and focus on this thing that's not even really real and then use that to avoid criticism
01:30:20.420 for something that everybody hates which is an iran war like who came up with that plan whose
01:30:23.600 idea was that you know all day long i've been asking me well rich now what do we do what do
01:30:28.620 we do now okay you were right i'm sorry what do we do well it's not a matter of apologies first of
01:30:33.400 all i can't even answer that but until you deal with two problems the right has two problems
01:30:37.340 one is they have a tremendous like a paid grifter and foreign agent problem and i mean it's a real
01:30:45.600 issue tucker we just don't see this on the left maybe it's there and it hasn't butted up against
01:30:50.160 the base yet or what their voting uh constituency wanted so it hasn't been exposed but the right is
01:30:55.840 different because with mag and all new movements come new people and a lot of these people were
01:31:00.880 you know noobs right for lack of a better word they're not really experienced in the political
01:31:06.660 field so it was easy to kind of mark some of these people and and make them uh bad faith actors
01:31:13.620 and then i really think we can't step over this without the the you know without addressing the
01:31:20.240 loss of charlie there were people on their way out of this thing uh donald trump the america first
01:31:25.800 movement had pushed out the old guard and put and then neoconservatism never really had a new
01:31:31.660 constituency down the barrel ready to fire off so they could replenish their numbers when these 0.57
01:31:36.420 boomers go but there are some voices that were you know dying waning in influence and their
01:31:42.520 influence uh was dying and their audiences were dropping off i i happen to just be remiss if i
01:31:48.360 didn't say this they they took charlie's death as an opportunity to they exploited his death
01:31:53.280 as an opportunity to resurrect their failing careers and their waiting influence and
01:32:00.040 they got the microphone and that was a brand switch on the american voter and we were put
01:32:06.460 all of a sudden we saw all of these faces that represented the right that made being republican
01:32:11.740 cool again in 24 it switched from that to some to the to the old again and i think it confused
01:32:19.340 just as marketing tactic it just confused the american voter and as they're watching all these
01:32:24.520 policies play out that they didn't vote for and they're looking at all their spokesmen lecturing
01:32:28.980 everybody about things you can or cannot say policies you can or cannot support which by the
01:32:33.820 way they just rejected that worldview in 24 that they thought came from democrats and it was more
01:32:40.400 than confusing they thought they got hoodwinked and they just vomited it out they just regurgitated
01:32:45.980 it and every day uh you know in the polling we hear the same thing over and over again it's not
01:32:51.040 hard you know this was uh the biggest rug pull of of all all time modern history at least so if you
01:32:57.260 wanted to end the nationalist movement in the united states if you found if you if it was a
01:33:01.940 threat like one of the first things you would do is take out tp usa which was a counterbalance to
01:33:06.680 the neocons and take out charlie literally i guess take him out uh and then just expel anybody who
01:33:12.720 sort of remembered what you'd run on a year ago like massey or marjorie taylor green and
01:33:20.280 and then you would do this you would you would have election results that basically made it
01:33:25.840 impossible to ever have immigration restrictionism or an american-centered foreign policy
01:33:31.560 and that would also help with one other thing you'd want to do which is diminish the vice
01:33:37.360 president's chances of running for president in 2028 let's just call it what it is and this is
01:33:42.660 the saddest part about this i mean you guys um sitting at home i mean all i do is think about
01:33:49.260 these numbers all day there's not another person on the bench at least on that side that you know
01:33:53.840 is a i mean there could be dark horses sure that always rise and and well you know we could be
01:33:58.800 talking about them six months from now or now or a year from now but looking at the field as it
01:34:03.420 stands right now there is nobody who can win the rust belt other than the vice president and it's
01:34:08.120 just because of his policy positions, and it's just an attitudinal appeal that you need for 0.97
01:34:13.800 that region of the country, and Republicans absolutely suck at doing it. They can't do it. 0.98
01:34:18.160 I don't know why anyone thought Mike Rogers was going to win Michigan. It's a great example of
01:34:22.340 what I'm talking about. They haven't won that state for U.S. Senate since 1994, which was the
01:34:27.700 Republican Revolution, basically the reverse of what we witnessed last night, when all of America
01:34:32.640 is a battleground, and you're getting wiped out all up and down the mat. It was favorable to 0.62
01:34:37.540 republicans that year they lost it the very next cycle anyway in 2000 when george w bush actually 0.80
01:34:43.200 won the presidency they still lost it to debbie stabenow who retired not too long ago she held 0.95
01:34:48.100 that seat the entire time before that you had to go back to 1972 to find a year when republicans
01:34:53.720 won a u.s senate seat in michigan it's very very difficult and republicans in their infinite hubris
01:34:59.100 looked at what trump did the trump vance ticket and thought oh this is always going to be ours
01:35:05.240 and they squandered it they they took it for granted they took the voters themselves for
01:35:10.560 granted and then they tried to use the word it is the perfect word they tried to browbeat everybody
01:35:15.520 else who didn't agree with this little switch this little switcheroo the problem is you can't
01:35:22.220 browbeat a majority you had a 1.5 percent national popular vote victory you did not have some 8 to
01:35:29.060 12 point you know kind of uh um you know barack obama or uh richard nixon level margin it's like
01:35:36.180 they acted as if they had coalition a squander and they didn't and now they just found out the
01:35:43.700 hard way it's got fun and and again like somebody like a marco rubio or something i just find that
01:35:48.320 absolutely laughable marco rubio has zero chance to win the u.s presidency he can't win michigan
01:35:52.900 he can't win pennsylvania he can't win uh wisconsin and that's what all of this is about
01:35:57.840 which is what you just you know we're talking about uh so that's the end of that i i am i have
01:36:02.180 doubts he could even win ohio well i mean and this is before anyone has taken a close look at the oil
01:36:08.380 contracts being handed out in right right which he is doing so amongst other things amongst many
01:36:14.340 other things so like no we're it's going to be a different world in a year and against witch hunts
01:36:19.720 i know for a fact or i can anticipate i believe that innocent people or not very guilty people
01:36:26.000 are going to get destroyed jared kushner will never be punished obviously howard lutnick will
01:36:31.000 never be punished obviously so you know there are downsides but we're going to learn a lot about
01:36:35.020 what's been happening and some of it is bad it's just bad i know that so um i think it's even
01:36:40.780 darker maybe than than you're than you're saying again to the question of who did it and the people
01:36:46.520 responsible for this so it was the ideologues obviously the donors clearly you know levin and
01:36:53.120 miriam adelson and paul singer and you know the usuals but also the people within the political
01:36:59.180 staff at the white house like are their careers over i mean can the republican party say enough
01:37:03.820 like you you you already wrecked everything you can't participate going forward yeah this is
01:37:09.580 interesting i mean it's it's almost 24 hours now since you know the first polls started to close
01:37:15.020 that really indicated things were really bad and uh i'm not surprised that people haven't been
01:37:21.340 fired already but you know i just i can't help and i couldn't have all day today think that the
01:37:26.480 the the donald trump from the first administration trump 1.0 would not have let 24 hours go without
01:37:33.440 firing the people who mismanaged a billion dollar fund right and these people got generational wealth
01:37:40.780 burning maggot to the ground but and this goes all the way back to you know guy i know there's
01:37:46.920 some stuff there that's obviously personal with the president but you know going after mac massey
01:37:52.140 there's the revenge of massey all over the ticket all over the country guys go look at the maps
01:37:56.820 you'll see it there's libertarian getting three to five percent here the independent candidate
01:38:01.220 getting you know a point or two points here you manage a billion dollar fund and you don't know
01:38:06.920 that going after a leg of your coalition is going to cost you a significant chunk of the vote and
01:38:13.200 speaking of charlie i was never a huge fan of thomas massey and i only recently very recently
01:38:18.260 ever got a chance to even speak to the man he seemed like a nice enough man but i wasn't a
01:38:23.280 fan of his and charlie used to say no no no no no no matt we need massey is a vital part of the
01:38:28.220 coalition and charlie was right look at the mat look at the mat if you don't keep these factions
01:38:33.920 together that's what happens i mean there's significant shares all over the place uh by the
01:38:39.560 way massey's own district ed gallrin put up the worst performance for any republican since i 0.56
01:38:45.160 believe 2006 i was tracking that last night it was a pathetic uh you know uh performance for that
01:38:53.980 district and this is something massey used to routinely win with 60 plus percent of the vote
01:38:58.300 70 of the vote and the guy was in the 50s last night tucker it was humiliating owning a home
01:39:03.120 has always been the core of the american dream it's the asset that families work their lives to
01:39:06.760 build, place of stability, security, and actual wealth. But too many homeowners right now are
01:39:12.780 stuck swiping credit cards to cover groceries, paying a survival tax of 20% interest or more.
01:39:18.780 So we're against debt. We always say that. But you can't buy a house without debt right now.
01:39:24.060 Almost anybody has to take out a loan. So the question is, who are you going to get a loan from?
01:39:30.060 Why are you handing your money to big banks when you can keep it for your family?
01:39:34.360 Our friends at American Financing have a better way.
01:39:36.760 They're helping homeowners tap into their hard-earned equity.
01:39:39.180 They're supporting Americans looking to fulfill the American dream of owning a home.
01:39:43.300 American Financing saves its customers an average of $800 a month.
01:39:46.800 That's nearly $10,000 a year.
01:39:49.440 It's not just a loan.
01:39:50.760 It's a total financial reset.
01:39:52.600 And so American Financing is worth looking at.
01:39:54.780 They're called America's Home for Home Loans for a reason.
01:39:58.000 Find out more at 800-685-5696.
01:40:04.280 800-685-5696 or visit AmericanFinancing.net slash Tucker.
01:40:10.380 So if you're following the news, there are some ominous signs out there not to scare anyone watching.
01:40:16.140 But for example, the end of October, there was a giant cyber attack that knocked out big parts of the Internet.
01:40:21.700 And within days, the British government was telling its citizens to stockpile water and canned food.
01:40:27.120 That's not good.
01:40:28.520 Meanwhile, the Pentagon has told American military bases to operate independently for 90 days without outside electricity, water, or fuel.
01:40:35.720 In other words, they don't trust utilities in this country.
01:40:39.580 Huh.
01:40:40.480 So they're worried, really, among other things, about the risk of a cyber attack-driven collapse of our infrastructure.
01:40:48.740 Governments acknowledge that is potentially going to happen.
01:40:53.320 They're preparing for it.
01:40:54.080 Are you preparing for it?
01:40:55.300 That's the real question.
01:40:56.520 The reality is the systems you depend on every day are more fragile than they look.
01:41:00.680 So if the internet goes down, so do most other things in our society,
01:41:04.760 including your bank and your gas station, your grocery store.
01:41:07.980 And that's one of the reasons we started Last Country Supply.
01:41:10.700 We believe that everyone is ultimately responsible for himself and his family, period.
01:41:16.220 You need heat, you need light, you need food, you need water,
01:41:19.640 and above all, you need a plan to get those things.
01:41:22.340 And you will find them, the essentials, at Last Country Supply.
01:41:25.680 you don't have to be a prepper you just have to care about your family make sure you are prepared
01:41:30.180 go to lastcountrysupply.com slash tucker so who if we could name names if you don't mind who do
01:41:37.420 you believe in the trump political staff has amassed what you call generational wealth
01:41:41.420 well look i mean it's not even an attack it's just true you know uh chris lasavita and company
01:41:46.260 they made a lot of money i mean people made a lot of money and it's not this is how it goes
01:41:51.300 but why what so chris lasavita like what are his talents exactly i mean i know that he threatens
01:41:56.760 people a lot including me but what like what does that exactly look i mean he he got on to the 24
01:42:03.620 campaign after not really supporting the president in 2020 i'm not sure how that even happened i don't
01:42:08.480 know the guy um but you know i mean he he runs part of the pack i know he was you know involved
01:42:14.440 with cornyn's campaign too which is another reason why you have to say what happened here they listen
01:42:20.280 guys texas is the great white whale for democrats someone has to pay the price for them finally
01:42:25.240 getting the great white whale it's actually something it's more than the great white whale
01:42:29.060 it's the king on your board they just checkmated you do you understand like the right wake up let
01:42:35.620 me open your eyes it's time in case you're still asleep you're done you're finished i i've been
01:42:40.820 trying to be gentle with you today but talarico just won that and won it overwhelmingly because
01:42:46.180 not to do a shameless plug of the book or anything this was the warning the the millennials and
01:42:51.760 hispanics in the electorate that donald trump appealed to had to become your voters because
01:42:56.220 the boomers that watch fox news aren't going to live forever and they're going to be replaced 0.61
01:43:01.040 every year two to one by younger voters millennials are the largest voting cohort and the minute they 0.98
01:43:07.080 and hispanics decide you know what i think this year i'll flex my political muscles you're smoked 0.98
01:43:12.340 and that's what happened and it happened despite all of the warnings despite the simple mathematics
01:43:18.980 it's not this is not difficult math it's basic arithmetic and if you're going to manage a fund
01:43:25.560 that big if you're going to manage a pack that big you better understand that and by the way
01:43:30.280 they went after paxton who's flawed sure you want to say that that's fine the voters wanted him a
01:43:36.560 A 22-year Senate incumbent should not need $100 million to defend him against somebody like Ken Paxton.
01:43:43.120 If you can't survive that without $100 million, you should probably hang up your boots and call it a day.
01:43:49.200 It's been the honor of my life to serve the people of Texas, but apparently I suck and they don't want me anymore.
01:43:53.960 It's $100 million, Tucker, to destroy Ken Paxton to the point where it was not even repairable.
01:44:01.400 In truth, they didn't just defeat Ken Paxton.
01:44:03.300 They defeated every Republican running for statewide office on that ticket.
01:44:08.420 They pulled Greg Abbott down.
01:44:10.200 And I know the president's frustrated, and he was attacking Greg Abbott on true social last night.
01:44:16.900 And believe me, I'm sure I can feel his frustration.
01:44:20.020 He shouldn't have run this long.
01:44:21.700 He had $135 million cash on hand.
01:44:24.320 Democrats didn't even come into that race until way late.
01:44:27.220 They thought it was too late because they didn't believe they could beat Abbott when he had a set.
01:44:31.980 And they did.
01:44:33.300 and they did because of the damage that was really already done well before paxton's a victim he was
01:44:39.700 a victim here all right everyone's looking at him like he's a terrible candidate and we're supposed
01:44:43.500 to blame cat paxton for what happened in texas paxton had no way to run against those headwinds
01:44:48.120 and by the way darlene graham who went down in uh south carolina we saw that a mile away because
01:44:53.220 she had 30 percent disaffection the same thing cornyn had that's the kind of number we were
01:44:58.100 looking at when we were disaffection is basically folks the base didn't want to vote for them
01:45:02.020 they just were over these people and we saw it with her brother too before he passed uh and then
01:45:08.880 just injecting her and then putting all of that money behind her and base again a browbeat you're
01:45:15.220 gonna you're gonna back this woman you're gonna support this woman even though she went into a
01:45:19.420 debate and when asked about a simple question about taiwan her response was you have to excuse
01:45:24.400 me foreign policy is not my strong suit or national security is not my strong suit that was her
01:45:29.680 brothers bread and butter he spent his entire career trying to bomb people and being brushed
01:45:35.540 up on national security whether you agreed with him or not he knew his stuff right um i couldn't
01:45:41.220 imagine a scenario where a u.s senator couldn't answer a question like that and then admits an
01:45:48.280 open admission that i don't know anything about national security what were you expecting you
01:45:54.060 just the the amount of contempt or disregard you have for voters and their intelligence
01:45:59.340 strike it's just absolutely striking so who made that decision who decided
01:46:03.460 to when lindsey graham died to put his sister in there like that's you know i don't know the
01:46:09.380 craziest thing i've ever seen i never understood i mean they they would never return they wouldn't
01:46:12.940 return my calls by the time that happened so i i never found out but you don't know who decided
01:46:16.780 to do that well i i don't everyone wants to blame the president for everything which um even though
01:46:23.160 you know even myself you know i i share the voters frustrations but i still find this a bit
01:46:28.420 of a slimy move that everybody wants to blame president trump for everything because again it
01:46:32.180 was a dead party before he came along right yeah i mean it's just a cop-out the president puts you
01:46:37.940 in roles he expects you to fill your job and to do it right he just he had people around just
01:46:42.960 didn't do it right all over the place so now it seems like a very simple cowardly way out to just
01:46:49.740 say oh this is president trump's fault in the clip you played before uh mark short you know
01:46:54.420 saying it's the it was all the tariffs it was all the tariffs we've pulled tariffs in the midwest
01:46:58.640 for 10 years and they actually like tariffs when they're used appropriately the problem is you
01:47:03.600 slap tariffs on people and started a war and then that drove up the price of energy and gas and
01:47:09.100 diesel so come on give me a break it's just it's a it's a cowardly way out they would have taken
01:47:13.820 that war you know any day of the week twice on sunday the tariffs were their problem come on
01:47:18.480 i mean i don't know who did it but there's a video circulating online of chris lasavita the
01:47:23.880 president's political advisor and a couple others i think suzy wiles um chief of staff on a private
01:47:30.020 plane like dressed you know in suits and stuff sort of joking around about how fun it is to be 1.00
01:47:35.060 on a private plane and i i wonder if anyone in the white house saw that it's like wait a second
01:47:39.920 you know people can't pay their rent and people are really suffering or by american standards
01:47:45.460 people are really suffering like maybe we don't post that like what was that today that was no no
01:47:50.860 no this was a couple of months ago but i remember thinking if you want to portray yourself as not
01:47:56.840 just out of touch but contemptuous of your own voters like yeah go ahead and post stuff like that 0.97
01:48:00.980 you're some like retard political consultant like there's no dumber group of people in america i 0.99
01:48:06.140 know them all and they're not impressive like in my this is my opinion and so like you're rich 0.99
01:48:11.800 because how do you know what i mean like to put that in people's faces yeah i think there's
01:48:18.840 something to be said to for i mean it's all over the exit polls when people feel good about the
01:48:24.280 economy they'll tolerate a lot yeah but there there was a lot i mean it's clear clear as day
01:48:29.200 in the exit polls you know this this project that project i they they were just over it you know the
01:48:35.240 ballroom by the way which looks beautiful you know it does they just don't want to see that
01:48:39.980 when they can't pay their bills when they you know when it's this is basic maslow's hierarchy
01:48:44.780 of needs stuff you can't even begin to climb up the pyramid guys unless you're meeting your basic
01:48:49.800 needs we're not even headed towards anywhere near self-actualization when you don't have shelter or
01:48:55.400 you know food you know these are these are very very uh simple ideas and simple concepts and i
01:49:04.380 we just completely lost sight of it but all of that was compounded on the fact that this was
01:49:09.780 supposed to be different this was i mean republicans really did run as the party who would
01:49:14.900 not forget about the little guy the party that would not let the war lobby disrupt you know
01:49:20.160 their administration and that's what it was sold to them as this is your turn we're going to focus
01:49:25.220 on you um we're going to put you first we're going to put the country first and i it stuns me that
01:49:31.460 anybody you know uh just couldn't see how deep of a wound that could cut and how much how you know
01:49:39.360 how potentially devastating it could be at the ballot box if and that's what it ended up being
01:49:44.340 i don't think anybody alive right now has seen anything like this can i just make one last
01:49:48.780 point which is you saw it and every time i would check in to what you were saying and the responses
01:49:55.380 you were getting you were being attacked really attacked like as a bad person like on moral
01:49:59.960 grounds for pointing that out half the people and you were just kind of making up i thought of
01:50:05.740 a numbers-based case and has anyone who attacked you apologized since you were right um you know
01:50:13.560 there have been not not any one of consequence let me put it that way i hate to say that but
01:50:19.100 there are people who are misled and those people who uh apologize i'll take those apologies all
01:50:27.060 day long tucker because they just a lot of people don't know better um but the people who did know
01:50:32.260 better and i think the vice president's tweet was really i i first of all i appreciated it
01:50:36.540 because what he is saying there is no we really we really did know we really did and okay then if
01:50:43.840 they did know which i know they did and i i felt for months a bit like richard nixon in the debate
01:50:49.560 with kennedy where he was claiming there was a missile gap but richard nixon couldn't actually
01:50:54.240 say anything because he couldn't reveal what was classified information and i was just trying to
01:50:59.120 hold confidence on things that i already did know so i i already knew they knew and it had just
01:51:05.800 waited for election day eventually but no nobody who who actively misled people and uh did what
01:51:12.740 they did and i'm not alone here so i don't want to just you know sit over here like oh that was
01:51:16.600 me kind of thing but they did it to a lot of people and these people really were just trying
01:51:20.740 to help the president they were really just trying to help you wanted to see him succeed
01:51:24.640 they you know they like the president they were trying to steer him in the right direction
01:51:28.020 and they were unleashed on you know it was morbid morbid morbid one of the most amazing things i've
01:51:35.940 ever seen rich thanks a lot for doing this i appreciate it thank you for summing that up and
01:51:40.020 some of those numbers are like unbelievable thank you anytime tucker all the best thanks for having
01:51:44.780 me you too thanks for watching us tonight we'll be back next wednesday at 6 p.m eastern thanks
