00:00:08.240 I'm Lex Barrero, inviting you to go beyond the titles and the accolades of the world's most successful entertainers.
00:00:14.420 Each week, we take off the cape and get real about the inner battles, childhood stories, and the moments that shaped our guests.

00:00:30.000 Camp Shane, one of America's longest-running weight-loss camps for kids, promised extraordinary results.
00:00:38.380 But there were some dark truths behind Camp Shane's facade of happy, transformed children.
00:00:44.020 Nothing about that camp was right. It was really actually like a horror movie.
00:00:48.940 Enter Camp Shame, an eight-part series examining the rise and fall of Camp Shane and the culture that fueled its decades-long success.
00:00:56.620 You can listen to all episodes of Camp Shame, one week early and totally ad-free, on iHeart True Crime Plus.
00:01:03.900 So don't wait. Head to Apple Podcasts and subscribe today.
00:01:06.920 I came out because I literally had a contract ripped up in front of me.
00:01:13.880 On a recent episode of Good Game with Sarah Spain, I spotlighted an inspiring out-athlete, pro golfer Mel Reed.
00:01:20.640 It's a part of me. I'm certainly not ashamed of it. And I think that there should be more representation in.
00:01:25.740 To hear this and more on identity, inclusivity, and the power of being seen, listen to Good Game with Sarah Spain, an iHeart Women's Sports production, in partnership with Deep Blue Sports and Entertainment, on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
00:01:40.380 Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports.
00:01:43.880 Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, and I'm the host of the On Purpose podcast. Today, I'm thrilled to welcome back to On Purpose, Cynthia Erivo.
00:01:51.980 A Grammy, Emmy, and Tony award-winning actor and singer you know from the color purple, Harriet, and Wicked, Cynthia Erivo.
00:01:59.760 And this may be a hard thing to say, but sometimes hurting someone actually aids the growth of another person.
00:02:07.040 Listen to On Purpose with Jay Shetty on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
00:02:14.640 Have you ever thought about going voiceover?
00:02:17.880 I'm Hope Woodard, a comedian, creator, and seeker of male validation.
00:02:23.480 I'm also the girl behind Voiceover, the movement that exploded in 2024.
00:02:28.960 You might hear that term and think it's about celibacy, but to me, voiceover is about understanding yourself outside of sex and relationships.
00:02:38.380 It's flexible, it's customizable, and it's a personal process.
00:02:43.200 Singleness is not a waiting room. You are actually at the party right now.
00:02:47.320 Let me hear it.
00:02:48.860 Listen to Voiceover on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
00:02:58.960 This is Gavin Newsom.
00:03:12.100 Introduce yourself for the first time on this new platform.
00:03:14.580 Tell them why you're on and kind of what you're doing on here.
00:03:17.560 I'm on because you're on and others are on and people are having two-way conversations.
00:03:22.160 And, you know, I think this notion of just one-way conversations and broadcasts doesn't work anymore.
00:03:29.080 So it's a great opportunity to be able to meet people where they are and to have more substantive and long-form conversations.
00:03:36.720 So I'm really grateful.
00:03:37.880 It's a great opportunity.
00:03:38.640 First time.
00:03:39.480 Thank you.
00:03:39.880 Yeah, super excited to have you.
00:03:41.340 I think a lot of folks have seen you over the past couple weeks, especially on Midas Touch, on Fred Wellman.
00:03:46.280 You're doing new media more than really other leaders in the Democratic Party.
00:03:50.680 Do you feel like this is the future for Democrats and other Democrats should follow your lead here?
00:03:56.760 Yeah, I don't even think it's the future.
00:03:58.020 I think it's where we are now.
00:03:59.980 You know, and I think if we don't recognize that, we're not going to reconcile where our standing is as it relates to the asymmetry of our communication challenges as a party.
00:04:11.200 And, look, you know, I don't know how, you know, I think it was Tucker Carlson even today who basically, you know, was attacking Fox or yesterday was Steve Bannon.
00:04:21.340 And, you know, when Tucker Carlson is saying it's in essence a propaganda network, I think that says everything you need to know.
00:04:28.040 Right.
00:04:28.140 But it's effective, just like Pravda was effective.
00:04:31.500 And it is a communication arm of the Trump administration.
00:04:34.580 And their surround sound and their ability to shapeshift conversations to put us on the defense is next level.
00:04:40.660 And so I think it's foundational, it's fundamental to, quote unquote, our path back that we start to get more aggressive in mediums like this and build our own capacity, our own capacity, not just to push back against that, but to truly expand that network of communication and engagement.
00:05:01.320 Well, I got to ask you, this morning you kind of went into the lion's den writing a Fox News op-ed titled, Trump is trying to destroy our democracy, do not let him.
00:05:10.280 What was that op-ed about for those who didn't read and why did you choose Fox News?
00:05:14.720 Well, because you got to meet people where they are and you got to hit people that are, you know, that we haven't, quote unquote, already persuaded.
00:05:22.320 And I think one of the things that I think people have criticized me and I totally, I deeply appreciate it.
00:05:27.860 I'm very, I'm probably more self-critical than anybody listening or watching.
00:05:31.560 I'm not even making that up, like actually.
00:05:33.900 And so I use the word humility and grace all the time and I'm constantly trying to iterate and try new things.
00:05:39.680 And it's in that process of discovery.
00:05:41.800 And so for years I've been screaming and yelling and saying, we got to get out of our own bubble.
00:05:46.860 And I was screaming and yelling about it, but I wasn't doing it.
00:05:49.580 So it's one thing to preach, it's another to practice.
00:05:51.820 So I started, you know, I said, called Sean Hannity.
00:05:54.900 I said, hey, you've been attacking me every single damn night.
00:05:57.080 I invited him to Ronald Reagan's old mansion, the governor's mansion in California.
00:06:01.020 And we sat down for an unscripted hour and 20 minutes.
00:06:04.420 I said, the only rule is no editing.
00:06:06.500 Let's have this conversation and put it up.
00:06:09.080 And he did, to his credit, and ended up not only being on Fox and a few of those kind of interviews,
00:06:15.040 did a debate with Ron DeSantis and, you know, just started to reach, sort of breach that bubble,
00:06:20.780 like just sort of pierce it a little bit and get in.
00:06:23.060 And so, you know, I'm trying to, there's a huge percent, a lot of folks, a lot of Democrats,
00:06:28.780 a lot of independents, a lot of persuadables watching Fox every night and reading Fox.
00:06:34.900 And so that's why I did that op-ed there.
00:06:37.020 And look, I think it's self-evident.
00:06:38.600 We all know what's happening to our democracy.
00:06:41.460 We all know what's happening to the, you know, the endearing values of our founding fathers.
00:06:45.460 I said all the time, the best of the Roman Republic and Greek democracy, co-equal, co-equal
00:06:50.860 branches of government, popular sovereignty, this notion of system of checks and balances.
00:06:55.680 And, you know, we've seen just the total corruption of Speaker Johnson, who's completely
00:07:00.340 capitulated and rolled over.
00:07:01.780 There's no checks and balances left in Congress.
00:07:05.000 They're a lapdog of the Trump administration.
00:07:07.160 That means there's one left, and that's the courts.
00:07:09.560 And we're about to go into court, quite literally, in a few minutes, the Ninth Circuit Court
00:07:15.080 of Appeals, two out of three other judges on our panel are Trump judges on a lawsuit.
00:07:20.820 But the point is, we're counting on the courts, and we're counting on people that showed up
00:07:24.680 in record numbers over the weekend, unprecedented protests, which is amazing, to hold up this
00:07:31.100 democracy.
00:07:32.280 Well, I want to ask you both about the protests, but also about this court hearing.
00:07:36.000 Can you tell folks what this court hearing is about?
00:07:38.180 It's about, I'm assuming, the ICE agents being able to work with Marines to kind of
00:07:42.400 go into homes, into communities, and conduct these raids.
00:07:44.960 But can you give some more elaboration as to what folks need to know about this hearing
00:07:48.300 and kind of what your expectation is, given the fact that there are two Trump judges on
00:07:52.880 this circuit panel today?
00:07:54.980 Yeah.
00:07:55.280 So, I mean, so this is about federalism.
00:07:57.960 This is about 10th Amendment.
00:07:59.000 This is about the rule of law.
00:08:00.360 This is about our Constitution.
00:08:01.440 It's about, you know, this idea that, you know, the founding fathers, you know, their
00:08:09.840 response to a monarchy and king was this, you know, thing we, frankly, times take for
00:08:16.120 granted.
00:08:16.740 And so that's what ultimately is being tested here.
00:08:20.280 And that's the theory that Donald Trump can unilaterally decide to militarize the streets
00:08:26.840 of America.
00:08:27.580 It happens to be in L.A.
00:08:28.680 Now it will be in your city next.
00:08:30.760 He did a national order, which, by the way, is the point about this being your city next.
00:08:35.720 It's not unique to California.
00:08:37.060 That allows him to, if there's a protest, to unilaterally under the Section 12406, under
00:08:45.180 the, you know, I don't want to get into more details, but under a rubric that's well
00:08:50.220 established as it relates to Title X under his authority, the federalization of the National
00:08:56.340 Guard, to decide to militarize by commandeering the National Guard, which he's done in California.
00:09:04.360 4,000 National Guards, men and women, have been taken out of my command, and by the way,
00:09:10.120 taken off the beat of doing forest management, vegetation management.
00:09:15.220 Three quarters of what we refer to as our rattlesnake teams that were preparing for wildfire
00:09:20.120 season now have been pulled off.
00:09:21.480 I've counter-drug task forces to deal with fentanyl.
00:09:24.660 They've been pulled off the counter-drug task forces, including on border issues where
00:09:28.960 they've been deployed for almost six years.
00:09:30.860 They've been pulled off, including now the streets where a lot of these are police officers,
00:09:35.660 members of law enforcement in their day jobs, and now have been commandeered by the President
00:09:39.520 of the United States for ICE enforcement.
00:09:41.220 And so that's fundamentally a question at hand.
00:09:43.260 We won a case, 36-page injunctive relief that we got from Justice Breyer last week, and they
00:09:51.520 immediately ran it to the appellate court, and today at noon will determine our fate.
00:09:56.640 And if, you know, we're successful, and I believe we should be and will be, that will be a big
00:10:02.780 day in the rule of law.
00:10:04.480 I guess we'll see what happens next.
00:10:05.580 I will say I think that this is an issue that has broken through really like none other,
00:10:09.280 immigration enforcement, specifically because it's impacting every community, Republican,
00:10:13.360 Democrat, Independent, doesn't really matter.
00:10:15.440 And I think we saw that over the weekend with the No Kings Day protests, about five million
00:10:18.860 folks conservatively nationwide, hundreds of thousands in Los Angeles, San Diego.
00:10:23.240 What's your reaction to the protests on the ground?
00:10:26.120 People stepped up.
00:10:26.880 They stepped in, and they're the antidote.
00:10:28.440 I've said it.
00:10:28.940 I said it in a speech the other night.
00:10:30.280 I mean, you're the antidote to that fear, anxiety, that cynicism you may be feeling, all that
00:10:34.400 stacking of stress.
00:10:35.440 And, you know, that stacking of stress is real, not just the stress the last five months
00:10:39.860 and all things Trump.
00:10:41.580 But look, I mean, everything you guys have, everybody's been through, right?
00:10:45.100 The pandemic and social unrest, you know, George Floyd, you know, the macroeconomic challenges,
00:10:51.720 supply chain disruptions, and obviously now just this, you know, this next level disruption
00:10:58.640 and authoritarian tendencies that we're all trying to push back against against the Trump
00:11:03.480 administration.
00:11:04.040 But people, what was so amazing about this weekend is it showed people haven't given
00:11:08.920 up, and that's extraordinary.
00:11:11.840 And I think, you know, it's, you know, there's an old adage, you know, in business we talk
00:11:16.260 about success leaves clues, the power of emulation.
00:11:18.960 And I think the more people show up, the more people feel like they're not alone, and the more
00:11:24.040 likely others will start to show up.
00:11:26.860 And there's a contagion in a positive sense here.
00:11:29.120 And that was on display over the weekend.
00:11:32.580 And that's honestly like, that's, that's, if I have any hope left, that's it.
00:11:37.100 Because I'm not, you know, you know, look at, looking at what's happened to Congress, look
00:11:41.260 to what's happening in our institutions, look at what's happening to law firms that are
00:11:44.660 capitulating and selling out, look what's happening to ethics and these attacks and assaults
00:11:49.980 on our courts, what's left is we the people, and the power of people organizing and expressing
00:11:56.760 themselves.
00:11:57.480 I mean, that's why I quoted Justice Brandeis, in a democracy, the most important office,
00:12:01.740 sorry, Donald Trump, it ain't the presidency.
00:12:04.600 The most important office is office of citizen, active, not inert citizenship.
00:12:09.320 And that's what we're seeing.
00:12:10.320 And I think it's important to note that the overwhelming majority of those protests were
00:12:14.240 peaceful across the country.
00:12:15.400 They were peaceful.
00:12:15.920 People were, I mean, the San Diego PD tweeted out saying, thank you for being peaceful.
00:12:19.720 Thank you for exercising your First Amendment right.
00:12:21.700 I had my nieces and my nephews out there.
00:12:23.700 My sister was out there and they, you know, crayon and they were doing their own signs.
00:12:28.280 I mean, it was next level peaceful.
00:12:29.760 Um, and, uh, what a point of contrast to the weaponization of the extreme exceptions, uh,
00:12:36.360 that you see on some of these propaganda networks that said otherwise.
00:12:40.100 Uh, so no, and that's, by the way, it's critical.
00:12:43.980 I want to, but forgive me, it's an aside.
00:12:46.920 One of the most extraordinary things that I, that I've been able to do as governor was
00:12:52.560 getting to know this guy, James Lawson.
00:12:54.520 And some folks may know who he is.
00:12:56.560 Some people may not.
00:12:57.620 Passed away recently.
00:12:58.960 Um, and James Lawson, uh, was the one that introduced Dr. King, uh, to, uh, Gandhi and
00:13:06.300 nonviolent protests.
00:13:08.300 And he was living in Los Angeles during the George Floyd.
00:13:12.680 But I had a chance, someone introduced me, said, boy, you really need to meet Reverend
00:13:17.100 Lawson.
00:13:17.640 You talk about moral authority, man, like he just in this presence.
00:13:22.180 And I didn't, I never met him.
00:13:23.740 I'm like, you just, just, you thunderstruck.
00:13:26.280 And I remember being in a, a round table meeting with leaders of the, of, uh, of, of BLM and
00:13:32.980 others that were out there protesting.
00:13:34.700 And he started reading them the riot act.
00:13:37.120 He said, this is not the way we did it.
00:13:39.280 And I'm sort of sitting back on, and he starts lecturing them, said, you got to have a plan.
00:13:45.120 You got to have a strategy.
00:13:46.280 And you cannot be violent and you cannot condone violence.
00:13:50.620 And he talked about the power, again, moral authority and, and movements and how movements,
00:13:56.120 you know, have become sustainable.
00:13:58.140 Right.
00:13:58.620 Um, and, um, and I just reminded of that.
00:14:00.960 It's so important, um, that we are reminded of, of our better angels and we cannot condone
00:14:08.540 the violence.
00:14:09.200 We cannot allow for that.
00:14:10.460 It hurts the movement.
00:14:12.440 It sets us back.
00:14:13.660 And it's exactly what Trump wants.
00:14:15.500 You're just handing it to him.
00:14:16.980 That's what he's looking for.
00:14:18.260 So we can further command and control.
00:14:21.200 So we can further militarize the streets of the United States.
00:14:25.140 It's exactly what he wants.
00:14:26.820 Let's not give it to him.
00:14:27.660 Welcome to the You Versus You podcast.
00:14:32.760 I'm Lex Barrero.
00:14:33.840 And every week we sit down with some of the biggest names in entertainment to talk about
00:14:37.760 the real stuff, the struggles, the doubts, and the breakthroughs that made them who they
00:14:42.420 are.
00:14:43.020 We go deep, exploring childhood trauma, family, overcoming loss, and the moments that shaped
00:14:48.380 their journey.
00:14:49.260 These honest conversations are meant to take the cape off our heroes with the hope that
00:14:53.280 their humanity inspires you to become a better you and therefore set you free to be a
00:14:57.660 to live the life of your dreams.
00:14:59.420 Here's a sneak peek.
00:15:01.500 I'm trained to go compete.
00:15:02.860 I'm trained to be like harder.
00:15:04.420 But sometimes that mentality stops you from stopping and smelling the flowers in your own
00:15:08.880 garden.
00:15:09.260 Is it wrong to want more?
00:15:10.780 We migrated.
00:15:11.680 Our family migrated here.
00:15:12.980 I'm like second generation.
00:15:14.140 ¿Quién no va a tener una trauma viniendo de un país extranjero y llegas a Estados Unidos
00:15:18.680 ni hablas inglés?
00:15:20.080 Listen to You Versus You as part of Michael Tudor Podcast Network.
00:15:24.320 Available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or website.
00:15:27.660 Wherever you get your podcasts.
00:15:31.240 Have you ever thought about going Boy Sober?
00:15:34.620 I'm Hope Woodard, a comedian, creator, and seeker of male validation.
00:15:41.520 To most people, I'm the girl behind Boy Sober, the movement that exploded in 2024.
00:15:47.820 Boy Sober is about understanding yourself outside of sex and relationships.
00:15:52.180 It's more than personal.
00:15:54.440 It's political.
00:15:55.580 It's societal.
00:15:56.960 And at times, it's far from what I originally intended it to be.
00:16:02.200 These days, I'm interested in expanding what it means to be Boy Sober to make it customizable
00:16:08.060 for anyone who feels the need to explore their relationship to relationships.
00:16:13.120 I'm talking to a lot of people who will help us think about how we love each other.
00:16:18.880 It's a very, very normal experience to have times where a relationship is prioritizing other
00:16:24.560 parts of that relationship that aren't being naked together.
00:16:27.540 How we love our family.
00:16:28.700 I've spent a lifetime trying to get my mother to love me, but the price is too high.
00:16:33.380 And how we love ourselves.
00:16:35.140 Singleness is not a waiting room.
00:16:36.820 You are actually at the party right now.
00:16:39.300 Let me hear it.
00:16:41.140 Listen to Boy Sober on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
00:16:46.760 Camp Shane, one of America's longest-running weight-loss camps for kids, promised extraordinary
00:16:55.020 results.
00:16:56.440 Campers who began the summer in heavy bodies were often unrecognizable when they left.
00:17:01.540 In a society obsessed with being thin, it seemed like a miracle solution.
00:17:06.220 But behind Camp Shane's facade of happy, transformed children was a dark underworld of sinister secrets.
00:17:12.400 Kids were being pushed to their physical and emotional limits as the family that owned Shane
00:17:17.860 turned a blind eye.
00:17:19.780 Nothing about that camp was right.
00:17:21.480 It was really actually like a horror movie.
00:17:24.280 In this eight-episode series, we're unpacking and investigating stories of mistreatment and
00:17:29.740 re-examining the culture of fatphobia that enabled a flawed system to continue for so long.
00:17:35.960 You can listen to all episodes of Camp Shame one week early and totally ad-free on iHeart
00:17:41.440 True Crime Plus.
00:17:42.880 So don't wait.

00:17:50.180 A lot of times the big economic forces we hear about on the news show up in our lives
00:17:55.700 in small ways.
00:17:57.620 Three or four days a week, I would buy two cups of banana pudding.
00:18:01.100 But the price has gone up, so now I only buy one.
00:18:03.960 The demand curve in action.
00:18:05.860 And that's just one of the things we'll be covering on everybody's business from Bloomberg
00:18:10.140 Businessweek.
00:18:10.780 I'm Max Chafkin.
00:18:12.580 And I'm Stacey Vanek-Smith.
00:18:14.220 Every Friday, we will be diving into the biggest stories in business, taking a look
00:18:18.480 at what's going on, why it matters, and how it shows up in our everyday lives.
00:18:23.240 But guests like Businessweek editor Brad Stone, sports reporter Randall Williams, and consumer
00:18:28.100 spending expert Amanda Mull will take you inside the boardrooms, the backrooms, even the signal
00:18:33.720 chats that make our economy tick.
00:18:35.720 Hey, I want to learn about V-Chain.
00:18:37.420 I want to buy some blockchain or whatever it is that they're doing.
00:18:41.580 So listen to everybody's business on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
00:18:47.180 podcasts.
00:18:47.740 I came out because I literally had a contract ripped up in front of me.
00:18:51.980 On a recent episode of Good Game with Sarah Spain, I spotlighted an inspiring out-athlete, pro golfer Mel Reed.
00:18:59.080 I think everyone's story is different.
00:19:01.000 I've been very lucky that I've got a very supportive family who literally don't care.
00:19:05.340 It's a part of me.
00:19:06.280 I'm certainly not ashamed of it.
00:19:07.960 And I think that there should be more representation.
00:19:10.760 To hear this and more on identity, inclusivity, and the power of being seen, listen to Good Game
00:19:16.140 with Sarah Spain, an iHeart Women's Sports production in partnership with Deep Blue Sports
00:19:20.300 and Entertainment on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
00:19:27.020 Brought to you by Novartis, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports Network.
00:19:31.740 Now, Governor, final question.
00:19:36.340 And before you go, I want everyone to go and subscribe.
00:19:38.640 Click the top left corner here and subscribe to the Governor's Substack.
00:19:42.280 What's your message to folks who are worried or afraid or scared, who want answers, but
00:19:47.960 they feel like they don't really have them right now?
00:19:49.560 What's your message to them?
00:19:51.260 You just keep doing what you're doing.
00:19:52.800 The fact that you're even listening to this means back to, you know, you haven't given
00:19:57.060 up.
00:19:57.940 The fact that you're still in the game, you still care.
00:20:00.060 You still care about your kids, you'll care about your family, your community, this nation,
00:20:04.200 the world we're trying to build.
00:20:05.360 You know, look, this is the moment.
00:20:08.620 I mean, we're in it.
00:20:09.760 We are in it.
00:20:11.220 And it goes in two directions.
00:20:13.680 We can roll over.
00:20:15.740 You know, we can let him succeed.
00:20:18.680 We can watch, you know, this 250-year experiment completely collapse on itself.
00:20:24.700 But we also have incredible power and resilience to push back.
00:20:29.240 And so I just, I pray, I mean, this is not a politician saying this, man.
00:20:32.960 I got four kids and, you know, and I know we're out of time, but I'm not making this
00:20:39.020 up.
00:20:39.580 I was with a 12-year-old.
00:20:41.100 I got a 12-year-old daughter.
00:20:42.860 I was with a 12-year-old the other day down in Oxnard, California.
00:20:46.860 And I can't unsee this.
00:20:48.520 I can't unexperience this.
00:20:51.020 Both of his parents were snatched from him.
00:20:53.340 20-plus years going in the same fields in Oxnard.
00:20:57.320 He was born here.
00:20:58.280 It's a sixth grader.
00:21:00.160 Tears rolling down.
00:21:01.360 I mean, streaming down.
00:21:02.920 He couldn't even look me in the face because every time he tried to talk, he just started
00:21:07.000 to break down.
00:21:08.500 That's Donald Trump's America.
00:21:10.300 He took his mom and dad.
00:21:12.780 We just found his mom.
00:21:14.420 They just found his mom in a detention facility.
00:21:17.340 He was left with nobody.
00:21:18.580 He has no brothers and sisters.
00:21:19.600 There was no one to take care of him that night.
00:21:23.360 And Donald Trump is trying to tear this country apart.
00:21:27.980 He's going after blue cities.
00:21:29.940 He's going after blue states.
00:21:31.480 He's not the president of the United States.
00:21:33.600 He's asserting himself exclusively as the president of red states.
00:21:36.860 And we cannot allow that to happen.
00:21:38.540 But we can't turn into him is my long-winded point.
00:21:41.540 Don't turn into him.
00:21:44.460 We're better than that.
00:21:45.940 Everyone wants to be loved.
00:21:47.220 Everyone needs to be loved.
00:21:48.200 We all want to be protected.
00:21:49.600 We all want to be connected.
00:21:50.820 And we all want to be respected.
00:21:52.740 And so I just, I pray that people recognize that we're all better off.
00:21:56.720 We're all better off.
00:21:57.380 We're all in this together.
00:21:58.420 Divorce is not a damn option.
00:21:59.660 I'll keep going on.
00:22:00.420 I'm just saying, man, don't give up.
00:22:01.920 Divorce is not a damn option.
00:22:03.700 Don't give up.
00:22:04.660 And yes, divorce is not an option.
00:22:06.480 And so I'm just counting on people.
00:22:08.860 And, you know, again, I say that just selfishly as a dad.
00:22:11.720 And so I just appreciate anybody that tuned in.
00:22:15.600 And thank you for tuning up in terms of being accountable to this moment.
00:22:20.760 Society becomes how we behave.
00:22:22.960 We are our behaviors.
00:22:24.600 Bottom line.
00:22:26.320 Things are not happening to us.
00:22:27.900 They're happening with us.
00:22:29.300 And so we have the ability to manifest a better future.
00:22:32.160 It's decisions, not conditions.
00:22:34.040 So I think everybody, let's make the wise choices.
00:22:37.600 And let's not give in to this cynicism.
00:22:40.060 And let's keep at it.
00:22:41.880 You heard it here first, Governor.
00:22:42.820 Thank you so much for coming on.
