00:01:16.740 Shine on me

00:01:20.500 And I will find a song

00:01:24.780 I've been singing

00:01:25.960 I've been singing

00:01:25.980 I've been moving

00:01:30.460 Where'd you just come from?

00:01:35.880 From touring?

00:01:36.560 I'm going to move this down and you're a touch, bro.

00:01:38.320 Where'd we just come from?

00:01:39.680 Louisville, Kentucky.

00:01:40.920 Oh, yeah.

00:01:41.580 Yes, sir.

00:01:42.860 How was that?

00:01:43.540 All right?

00:01:44.340 Yeah, it was good.

00:01:45.560 It was good.

00:01:46.280 I mean, I didn't think...

00:01:47.360 Was it sold out?

00:01:50.020 No.

00:01:51.820 It was packed.

00:01:54.440 95%.

00:01:55.280 Yeah, it was crazy, though.

00:01:56.240 They got a lot of horses up there, too.

00:02:00.620 I've been to the horse track up there.

00:02:02.520 Yeah, I was just going to say,

00:02:03.300 don't they do, like, derbies and stuff?

00:02:04.820 Yeah.

00:02:05.860 It's nice.

00:02:06.540 Some of the horses are strong.

00:02:08.440 Some of them aren't that strong.

00:02:12.020 What else has been going on?

00:02:13.100 Yeah, I was just up in Montana.

00:02:14.280 We had some shows up there.

00:02:15.300 Met some Native Americans up there.

00:02:16.820 Okay.

00:02:17.480 You ever met any Native Americans?

00:02:19.320 Like a real life one?

00:02:21.040 I don't think so.

00:02:22.120 I don't think so.

00:02:22.640 We met a couple up there.

00:02:24.260 They're pretty cool, man.

00:02:25.500 We were at AutoZone up there,

00:02:29.860 and they had a couple Native Americans up there,

00:02:31.440 and we met them.

00:02:34.940 Yeah, they're just wild,

00:02:36.420 and they have a lot of good weed, too,

00:02:38.660 a lot of times.

00:02:39.240 Oh, okay.

00:02:39.800 Then, yeah, I probably would have bumped into a few if I was like.

00:02:41.880 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:02:43.440 But I heard this beautiful out there,

00:02:44.940 Shibuza, that's one of my close friends,

00:02:46.440 and he was just out there shooting video,

00:02:48.960 and he was like,

00:02:49.460 bro, I'm going to move out here.

00:02:50.560 It's crazy out here.

00:02:51.840 He's so nice.

00:02:52.520 I got to make sure I stop by there for sure.

00:02:54.340 Yeah, it looks like you're on this planet,

00:02:57.720 but just on the best parts of it.

00:02:59.700 You look out there,

00:03:00.580 and they got all kind of exotic animals, too, out there.

00:03:03.660 That's why I think, yeah.

00:03:05.000 Yeah, Native Americans have the best weed. 1.00

00:03:06.860 I've always heard that.

00:03:07.700 I've never gotten to smoke any with them. 1.00

00:03:09.720 They got that shit that'll bring your dead relatives back. 1.00

00:03:12.260 They got that real, 1.00

00:03:13.200 they got that suicide or gas on me.

00:03:16.740 Do I want to smoke that?

00:03:18.960 Good point.

00:03:19.440 I don't know.

00:03:19.860 If they bring your dead relatives back,

00:03:21.540 do you want to smoke that?

00:03:22.500 That's true.

00:03:22.880 I mean, I guess if you owe somebody some money,

00:03:24.560 maybe you just let them be where they're at.

00:03:25.980 Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.

00:03:26.920 Yeah.

00:03:27.580 And they had the best pets, too.

00:03:29.120 Think about it.

00:03:29.620 Native Americans had the best pets, man.

00:03:32.020 Falcon, buffalo, eagles.

00:03:37.440 I'm scared of all that type of stuff.

00:03:39.480 Really?

00:03:40.140 I'm scared of any animal that's, for one, bigger than me.

00:03:43.300 Yeah.

00:03:43.440 So, like, horses, cows, I'm terrified of them.

00:03:46.120 Yeah, that makes sense.

00:03:47.040 And then just eagles and all that stuff,

00:03:49.960 like, you can't really do nothing about those.

00:03:52.540 So if they fly down and grab you and rip skin off,

00:03:55.080 you can't do nothing to them.

00:03:56.620 So, you know, I don't do bugs.

00:03:59.160 I don't do exotic lizards.

00:04:01.560 I don't do snakes.

00:04:02.760 I don't.

00:04:03.200 Really?

00:04:03.700 I could see you with a nice bird, man.

00:04:05.860 With a bird?

00:04:06.700 Yeah.

00:04:07.080 I do have a bird.

00:04:07.980 My daughter's name.

00:04:08.860 Her nickname is Bird.

00:04:10.040 Oh, yeah?

00:04:10.720 So that's as good as it gets.

00:04:11.620 I was terrified right there.

00:04:13.600 Oh, wow.

00:04:14.180 Yeah, I was terrified.

00:04:14.960 Why?

00:04:15.080 You sound far away, I am, from Norwich?

00:04:16.620 Oh, it is?

00:04:17.020 Yeah, yeah.

00:04:17.360 You kept your distance.

00:04:19.660 Wow.

00:04:20.300 Did you even FaceTime with that thing first,

00:04:22.120 or they just brought him straight up?

00:04:23.000 No, they just brought it.

00:04:24.340 Oh, boy.

00:04:24.600 They just brought it.

00:04:26.180 Yeah, that kind of stuff is a lot, man.

00:04:28.240 Horses make me nervous, too.

00:04:29.420 They're just so big, and you don't trust them, you know?

00:04:31.160 Yeah, exactly.

00:04:32.180 And I don't trust anything that I only can see

00:04:33.720 out of the side of its head.

00:04:35.100 That, too.

00:04:36.000 That, too.

00:04:36.980 You know?

00:04:37.660 That's how I really feel about a lot of animals.

00:04:39.780 But did you ever have any pets growing up?

00:04:42.680 Yeah, a lot of dogs.

00:04:44.220 Oh, yeah?

00:04:44.660 A lot of dogs.

00:04:44.960 What kind of y'all have?

00:04:45.860 Rod Waller's.

00:04:46.700 Right now, I have a Cane Corso.

00:04:48.520 I have two pocket bullies.

00:04:51.560 I have a Frenchie.

00:04:53.600 But just, yeah, yeah.

00:04:55.040 Yeah, that actually looks just like my dog, Sasha,

00:04:57.360 that's at the house right now,

00:04:58.340 with the white patches and everything.

00:05:00.280 And does y'all have a chain on it?

00:05:02.580 No. 0.96

00:05:03.100 No, she's horrible. 1.00

00:05:04.480 She's bad. 0.99

00:05:05.220 Oh, really?

00:05:06.140 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:05:07.080 Can you even pet her or nothing?

00:05:08.280 Yeah, no, you can pet her or whatnot, 0.96

00:05:09.520 but if she don't know you, she's going to go crazy. 1.00

00:05:11.520 Oh, God.

00:05:12.300 But once she's smearing you and she's good,

00:05:14.760 then you locked in?

00:05:16.220 I wouldn't even risk it.

00:05:18.080 See, I get scared getting high around dangerous animals.

00:05:20.780 That's one of my big things.

00:05:23.040 You know, I would have sometimes trouble smoking

00:05:24.960 with the brothers when I was young

00:05:26.340 because a lot of them would bring a dog with them.

00:05:30.000 And if we got high, it just made me too nervous.

00:05:33.000 Man, I had to get out of my own car

00:05:34.060 and leave everybody in there one time. 0.99

00:05:35.740 Damn. 0.99

00:05:36.380 Because I couldn't handle it. 0.99

00:05:38.420 Well, you might not want to stay away from that weed

00:05:39.960 in Montana, you ain't want to stay away from that.

00:05:41.600 Yeah, I'll stay off that native stuff, man. 1.00

00:05:45.620 Thank you so much for joining us, bro.

00:05:47.320 No, for sure.

00:05:47.900 It's a blessing to be here.

00:05:49.040 Yeah, congratulations on all your success, man.

00:05:50.960 Sure, appreciate you.

00:05:51.840 It's exciting.

00:05:52.800 Yeah, I love listening to your songs.

00:05:55.460 They all have this beginning that kind of creates this,

00:05:58.960 it almost feels like it's a start of a movie.

00:06:01.980 It's like before you come in with the lyrics,

00:06:06.180 it's like there's this,

00:06:08.200 each one has this ambiance that gets going.

00:06:10.800 And who makes that?

00:06:12.120 How do y'all make that choice?

00:06:13.400 Like, how does that happen?

00:06:14.740 But I just,

00:06:15.520 I've been with the same producers

00:06:17.420 for about two, three years now,

00:06:19.080 band play, Tony Coase.

00:06:22.080 And so we kind of just know each other's,

00:06:23.980 like, souls at this point.

00:06:26.080 And so they just, you know,

00:06:28.160 they go based off of what they'll feel like

00:06:30.260 I would mess with in a song,

00:06:32.040 and then they go from there.

00:06:33.960 Tony pick out the sample,

00:06:35.740 band play, do the 808s,

00:06:37.320 all the beatings on it,

00:06:38.240 and then they just go.

00:06:40.220 They know I like,

00:06:40.900 I'm a build-up person.

00:06:42.580 So that beginning,

00:06:44.080 that's my build-up.

00:06:45.180 Yeah, it almost feels kind of romantic

00:06:46.580 in the beginning, some of them. 1.00

00:06:47.720 A lot of shit, 1.00

00:06:48.620 get you in the mood, 1.00

00:06:49.560 get you ready,

00:06:50.300 and make you want to hear

00:06:51.060 what I'm about to say.

00:06:52.700 So.

00:06:53.420 The video with the skydiving,

00:06:55.880 did y'all really skydive in it?

00:06:57.180 No, I would never skydive in my life.

00:06:59.160 Really?

00:06:59.920 Oh, you'd go down quick.

00:07:00.840 Skydive, bungee jump.

00:07:02.140 I'm one of those people

00:07:05.560 who believe in like,

00:07:07.440 I just feel like I would have

00:07:08.520 a heart attack before I got,

00:07:10.040 you know,

00:07:11.020 I would faint or something,

00:07:11.920 so now I can't pull my string.

00:07:13.820 So I'd just rather not do it.

00:07:15.380 I'd just rather not do it.

00:07:16.500 Yeah.

00:07:17.260 Yeah, yeah.

00:07:17.920 I don't know why some people do it.

00:07:20.120 I wonder if they have a lot of,

00:07:21.620 yeah, the video,

00:07:22.300 that was so tough, man.

00:07:23.240 How did y'all shoot it, though?

00:07:24.240 Did you guys have like a fake chopper

00:07:25.820 or something?

00:07:26.080 A fake plane,

00:07:27.400 a lot of air,

00:07:29.120 and great acting.

00:07:30.140 Anybody want me in a movie?

00:07:32.960 There you go.

00:07:34.600 Yeah, you could be

00:07:35.340 in like a paratrooper movie, man.

00:07:37.060 For sure.

00:07:38.440 And it don't look like

00:07:39.180 I fell that fast.

00:07:40.020 It actually looks like

00:07:40.440 I fell at a...

00:07:41.180 At a decent rate.

00:07:42.420 There it go.

00:07:42.920 There it went.

00:07:43.620 I would drop fast right then.

00:07:45.040 It did seem like you were...

00:07:46.080 Because I was kind of,

00:07:46.760 when I was watching that,

00:07:47.460 because usually people

00:07:48.120 are really flying,

00:07:48.840 you see the cheeks

00:07:49.820 going like that,

00:07:50.700 and I was like,

00:07:51.240 man, it seemed like

00:07:51.820 he's kind of going

00:07:52.420 at a casual speed.

00:07:55.440 But that's when you know

00:07:56.400 you got a vibe,

00:07:57.960 when you can skydive

00:07:59.040 at a casual speed.

00:08:00.140 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:08:01.180 When you can do it

00:08:01.760 your own way.

00:08:02.940 Yeah.

00:08:05.040 What's happening

00:08:05.640 in Texas, man?

00:08:08.160 Still hot.

00:08:12.060 How has your life

00:08:12.940 changed over there?

00:08:13.820 Like, even in the past

00:08:14.920 two years, probably.

00:08:17.240 I mean, for me,

00:08:18.740 it hasn't really changed.

00:08:19.840 I still do the same

00:08:21.220 daily stuff I would do

00:08:22.460 if I was home.

00:08:23.520 Yeah.

00:08:23.640 But of course,

00:08:24.340 everybody know me now,

00:08:25.880 so now instead of

00:08:27.620 going to Walmart,

00:08:28.740 I now have to do

00:08:29.480 curbside pickups.

00:08:31.100 Now, you know,

00:08:31.820 it's just stuff like that,

00:08:32.700 but as far as me

00:08:34.460 and my home

00:08:35.080 and my family,

00:08:35.980 ain't nothing really

00:08:36.460 changed.

00:08:36.900 We still...

00:08:38.320 Everybody kick it

00:08:39.080 when we can.

00:08:40.140 You know, if not,

00:08:41.020 I'm at home with my kids,

00:08:42.500 chilling.

00:08:43.100 You know,

00:08:43.460 nothing too major.

00:08:44.440 I don't...

00:08:45.540 I'm as basic as it get.

00:08:46.680 I don't treat myself

00:08:48.320 like a superstar

00:08:49.100 and nothing like that.

00:08:50.680 Does it feel

00:08:51.780 overwhelming sometimes

00:08:52.740 with people knowing you

00:08:53.640 as much?

00:08:54.200 Is it sometimes

00:08:54.820 a little bit like,

00:08:55.820 what is it like?

00:08:57.060 Does it feel kind of

00:08:57.960 like alarming sometimes?

00:08:59.980 Does it feel like

00:09:00.580 what you thought

00:09:01.480 it would feel like?

00:09:02.480 Because a lot of people

00:09:03.460 don't get to have

00:09:05.080 that much popularity,

00:09:06.180 right?

00:09:06.480 Yeah, yeah.

00:09:07.040 So it's interesting

00:09:08.020 when it does happen

00:09:08.840 to somebody

00:09:09.280 because it's just

00:09:09.900 a rare thing,

00:09:10.880 right?

00:09:11.300 I mean,

00:09:12.100 as far as like,

00:09:13.600 I was popular in school,

00:09:15.520 but then it's like,

00:09:16.680 after that era

00:09:17.820 faded out,

00:09:18.480 I started doing stuff

00:09:19.440 that it's like,

00:09:19.980 you kind of don't want

00:09:20.700 people to know,

00:09:22.380 like to know who you are.

00:09:25.020 And now it's like,

00:09:25.800 I got to let people

00:09:26.920 get this close to me

00:09:27.920 before I know

00:09:28.680 if they're friend or foe.

00:09:29.920 So of course it bothered me,

00:09:31.320 but I mean,

00:09:32.560 it come with the job.

00:09:34.720 So I just got to keep

00:09:36.220 big guys like him

00:09:37.040 around me, so.

00:09:38.420 Yes, sir.

00:09:39.300 Yeah.

00:09:40.240 Yeah,

00:09:40.640 that's a good choice there.

00:09:42.600 And yeah,

00:09:44.180 is it more dangerous?

00:09:45.300 Because I think like,

00:09:46.280 it's funny,

00:09:47.140 sometimes if you're

00:09:47.780 just like a regular guy,

00:09:49.260 nobody will try

00:09:49.920 to shoot you, 0.96

00:09:50.600 but then when you're 1.00

00:09:51.160 a rapper,

00:09:51.700 people try to shoot you.

00:09:53.420 Yeah,

00:09:53.920 yeah,

00:09:54.280 you definitely,

00:09:55.300 and I,

00:09:56.340 it's just a lot of,

00:09:58.440 you know,

00:09:58.700 just like it's God

00:09:59.520 in the world,

00:10:01.000 it's devil,

00:10:01.840 you know,

00:10:02.040 it's the devil too,

00:10:02.800 man.

00:10:03.020 You know,

00:10:03.680 the paths that some

00:10:04.660 people decide to take,

00:10:06.360 it's not always

00:10:08.000 the right one.

00:10:08.820 So,

00:10:09.060 you know,

00:10:09.240 you just got to kind

00:10:09.780 of be prepared for it.

00:10:11.180 Yeah,

00:10:11.420 you're a target

00:10:11.980 because everybody

00:10:12.560 feel like you got

00:10:13.400 all this money,

00:10:15.160 all of this,

00:10:15.820 when people don't

00:10:16.740 even know,

00:10:17.360 like,

00:10:17.460 so a lot of these

00:10:18.340 major artists,

00:10:19.400 all they have

00:10:19.920 is that chain

00:10:20.660 and that watch.

00:10:22.000 They don't got no money,

00:10:22.880 you know,

00:10:23.280 so you just did

00:10:23.900 what you did

00:10:24.280 for a chain and a watch.

00:10:26.280 Me,

00:10:26.660 I try to treat

00:10:27.420 everybody as equal,

00:10:28.540 so like when a person

00:10:29.420 walk up on me,

00:10:30.660 I'm gonna give you

00:10:31.200 that picture,

00:10:31.760 I'm gonna talk to you

00:10:32.420 as if you're

00:10:32.820 a normal person

00:10:33.380 because that's what

00:10:34.380 makes somebody

00:10:34.800 want to get you

00:10:35.400 when you,

00:10:36.480 nah,

00:10:36.720 I'm good,

00:10:37.400 you know,

00:10:38.040 that's what,

00:10:39.320 when you show them

00:10:40.580 that separation,

00:10:41.240 that's when

00:10:42.240 they want what you got.

00:10:42.760 When you're too fancy,

00:10:43.780 yeah.

00:10:44.160 Exactly,

00:10:44.680 exactly.

00:10:44.900 Yeah.

00:10:45.600 For rappers,

00:10:46.340 it just feels like,

00:10:47.400 it just feels a little

00:10:48.360 bit more dangerous,

00:10:49.360 I feel like,

00:10:50.240 you know?

00:10:51.060 Like,

00:10:51.320 do you have to keep

00:10:51.920 like an EMT

00:10:52.880 with like,

00:10:53.820 like do your,

00:10:55.480 people know CPR

00:10:56.420 on your team

00:10:57.220 and stuff like that

00:10:57.980 or what is it like?

00:11:01.720 I ain't gonna lie,

00:11:02.660 fellas,

00:11:03.280 if we get to that point,

00:11:04.980 don't y'all put

00:11:05.420 y'all lips on me.

00:11:06.380 Come on, bro.

00:11:07.460 Don't y'all put

00:11:08.180 y'all lips on me.

00:11:09.300 Y'all find the nearest

00:11:10.180 woman and y'all teach 1.00

00:11:12.280 her how to do it,

00:11:12.980 but don't y'all

00:11:13.460 put y'all lips on me. 0.80

00:11:14.860 Bro,

00:11:15.080 you gonna have some girl 1.00

00:11:15.880 sitting there

00:11:16.300 watching a YouTube video?

00:11:17.440 Yeah,

00:11:17.820 yeah,

00:11:18.080 I can't,

00:11:18.560 nah,

00:11:18.780 I can't go through that,

00:11:19.760 so.

00:11:20.700 Bro,

00:11:21.020 you ain't gonna feel it,

00:11:21.920 bro,

00:11:22.020 you gonna be just,

00:11:23.400 But when I come to,

00:11:24.200 that's a question

00:11:24.680 you gotta ask.

00:11:25.600 You know,

00:11:26.040 when you come to

00:11:26.760 and you say,

00:11:27.660 what happened?

00:11:29.080 There's gonna be

00:11:30.200 that guy that's

00:11:30.740 in the back of the room

00:11:31.440 like,

00:11:32.520 you know,

00:11:33.520 and I don't wanna deal

00:11:34.720 with that.

00:11:35.620 Yeah,

00:11:35.860 that's true.

00:11:36.420 You gonna have to

00:11:36.920 look him in the eyes.

00:11:37.600 You gonna have to

00:11:38.380 and you don't know

00:11:39.560 whether to say thank you

00:11:40.680 or let's fight,

00:11:42.160 you know?

00:11:42.700 Hey,

00:11:42.780 chill,

00:11:43.180 bro.

00:11:43.460 Exactly,

00:11:43.980 exactly.

00:11:44.340 Hey,

00:11:44.560 next time,

00:11:45.080 ask first.

00:11:45.780 And then my partner

00:11:46.820 so funny

00:11:48.380 that they ain't gonna

00:11:49.020 do nothing

00:11:49.240 but make a joke

00:11:49.860 about it.

00:11:51.220 I almost died

00:11:52.160 and y'all talking

00:11:52.620 about some,

00:11:53.360 but y'all kids know

00:11:54.240 who,

00:11:54.420 y'all kids,

00:11:55.180 you know,

00:11:55.600 so.

00:11:56.200 You alive

00:11:56.880 but you a little

00:11:57.480 zesty now.

00:11:58.320 Just find the nearest

00:11:59.240 woman, 1.00

00:11:59.740 find the nearest

00:12:00.380 woman for me.

00:12:00.940 I don't care

00:12:01.320 how old she is,

00:12:02.900 just find the nearest

00:12:04.000 woman, 1.00

00:12:04.400 please.

00:12:06.020 Yeah,

00:12:06.460 that's what I just

00:12:07.080 wonder.

00:12:07.600 I think I would keep,

00:12:08.420 if I was in the rapper,

00:12:09.560 I would have somebody,

00:12:10.920 bow and arrow,

00:12:12.140 somebody with a couple

00:12:13.260 choppers on them,

00:12:15.480 everything,

00:12:16.140 Dracos,

00:12:16.940 everything,

00:12:17.580 guns, 1.00

00:12:18.460 fucking, 1.00

00:12:19.580 uh. 1.00

00:12:19.940 The little ninja thing?

00:12:21.000 Yeah, 1.00

00:12:21.440 fucking, 1.00

00:12:21.840 hell, 1.00

00:12:23.040 bro.

00:12:23.660 Magic metal, 1.00

00:12:24.600 fucking ninja stars, 1.00

00:12:25.780 all of that shit, 1.00

00:12:26.720 boy. 1.00

00:12:26.840 I mean,

00:12:27.180 you just,

00:12:27.580 you know,

00:12:27.860 you just pray for the best.

00:12:29.840 Axe,

00:12:30.320 I would have everything,

00:12:31.340 bro.

00:12:32.140 I'd have somebody

00:12:32.860 just walking around

00:12:33.680 look like they were

00:12:34.180 in one of those video games

00:12:34.960 where they have all the weapons

00:12:35.960 behind them like that.

00:12:37.020 Like when they get ready

00:12:37.700 to go to war,

00:12:38.260 they pack all of the weapons,

00:12:39.360 but then they don't use

00:12:40.560 none of them.

00:12:41.480 Yeah,

00:12:41.720 I know.

00:12:42.180 Even cops now,

00:12:43.220 they got so many things on them.

00:12:44.620 They got a taser,

00:12:45.500 they got a gun,

00:12:46.700 they got a sling shot,

00:12:49.000 they got a pepper spray, 1.00

00:12:51.220 they got a fucking, 1.00

00:12:52.340 you know, 1.00

00:12:52.720 a thing of marbles. 0.99

00:12:53.720 They got all kind of shit on them, 0.99

00:12:55.160 bro. 1.00

00:12:55.280 I've never seen an officer

00:12:57.060 with a bag of marbles.

00:12:58.180 But they got so many things now,

00:13:00.440 bro.

00:13:00.940 He got a camera,

00:13:02.080 they got a little spatula,

00:13:04.760 you know,

00:13:05.020 a thing of just breath mints.

00:13:06.440 Dude,

00:13:06.620 he's just shooting

00:13:07.400 Mentos at people,

00:13:08.780 you know.

00:13:09.140 They got,

00:13:09.940 I don't even,

00:13:10.420 I couldn't even imagine

00:13:11.280 running around

00:13:11.900 with all that stuff

00:13:12.700 on me now.

00:13:14.040 Yeah,

00:13:14.320 no,

00:13:14.560 yeah,

00:13:14.760 they do.

00:13:15.340 They got to chase people there

00:13:16.460 and a lot of,

00:13:17.480 yeah,

00:13:17.620 that's crazy.

00:13:18.700 On top of the vest,

00:13:19.740 that's already happened.

00:13:20.220 Yeah,

00:13:20.420 they're built like a 7-Eleven

00:13:21.680 and they got to run around

00:13:22.540 and chase everybody down.

00:13:23.700 It's too much.

00:13:24.340 Everybody would get away

00:13:25.120 from me if I was the police.

00:13:27.060 I'll catch you eventually,

00:13:28.600 you know.

00:13:29.140 Hey,

00:13:29.300 I'll catch you in the future.

00:13:30.340 Yeah,

00:13:30.820 but let me see you again

00:13:31.900 because I couldn't,

00:13:32.980 I wouldn't,

00:13:33.500 you know.

00:13:34.460 Did you,

00:13:35.600 what was like a first job

00:13:36.680 that you had,

00:13:37.420 man?

00:13:37.980 My first ever job

00:13:39.100 was Taco Cabema.

00:13:40.220 I was 16.

00:13:42.200 I was getting paid seven,

00:13:43.820 I was supposed to get paid

00:13:44.580 $7.25,

00:13:46.080 but when I started working

00:13:47.020 my first day,

00:13:47.700 he said,

00:13:48.520 $7.25?

00:13:49.400 No,

00:13:49.520 you're too good of a worker.

00:13:50.900 I pay you $7.50.

00:13:52.320 Really?

00:13:52.780 And I just thought

00:13:53.360 I was that guy.

00:13:54.940 $7.50?

00:13:56.320 Woo! 0.99

00:13:57.440 That was my first ever check.

00:13:58.720 My first check was like

00:13:59.740 $200,

00:14:00.680 two weeks work.

00:14:01.440 Bro,

00:14:01.800 when you got that first check,

00:14:03.100 it was nice,

00:14:03.840 huh?

00:14:04.060 No,

00:14:04.300 I was so upset.

00:14:05.120 It was like $200,

00:14:05.820 $300,

00:14:06.700 two weeks of work.

00:14:08.580 Yeah,

00:14:08.800 I was so mad,

00:14:09.900 but I kept going.

00:14:11.380 I kept going.

00:14:12.360 And how long were you in

00:14:13.240 over there at the Cabana?

00:14:15.460 Maybe like a month,

00:14:16.520 maybe a month and a half. 0.99

00:14:17.380 Damn, 0.99

00:14:17.660 you didn't keep going at all, 1.00

00:14:18.800 man.

00:14:19.060 I've never had a job over

00:14:21.220 four or five months.

00:14:23.260 Really?

00:14:23.820 What was it about it,

00:14:24.840 you think?

00:14:25.320 Did y'all have some,

00:14:25.960 like,

00:14:26.120 was it contractual issues?

00:14:28.180 What was the deal over there?

00:14:29.080 As bad as it sounds,

00:14:30.800 it's just something about

00:14:32.080 somebody telling me

00:14:33.980 what to do.

00:14:35.540 You know what I'm saying?

00:14:36.000 Especially in that aspect,

00:14:37.220 it's like,

00:14:38.300 you're not even

00:14:39.080 the big dog.

00:14:40.400 You work for them

00:14:41.760 just like I work for them,

00:14:42.800 and you sitting here

00:14:43.840 telling me what to do.

00:14:45.080 Exactly.

00:14:46.020 I just always felt like,

00:14:48.240 I watched my mom

00:14:49.020 and my pops growing up,

00:14:50.140 they was all,

00:14:50.640 they're entrepreneurs,

00:14:51.580 so they,

00:14:51.860 you know,

00:14:52.060 they was their own bosses.

00:14:53.760 And here I am working

00:14:54.360 at Taco Cabana

00:14:55.020 getting paid $750

00:14:55.840 when I would rather

00:14:58.320 be my own boss.

00:14:59.380 Yeah.

00:15:00.280 So I think that's probably,

00:15:01.740 me having that first job

00:15:02.860 is probably what made me

00:15:04.080 start wanting to do stuff

00:15:05.880 to just be my own entity,

00:15:08.020 my own boss,

00:15:08.720 because that was horrible.

00:15:10.840 Having somebody telling you

00:15:12.300 when to come in,

00:15:13.360 telling you what to do

00:15:14.440 at the job,

00:15:15.980 I just,

00:15:16.680 I couldn't do it.

00:15:17.460 Yeah.

00:15:17.920 I couldn't do it.

00:15:18.640 And was any of the food

00:15:20.060 pretty good,

00:15:20.520 or was it like?

00:15:21.380 Yeah,

00:15:21.660 yeah,

00:15:21.780 they used to have this little,

00:15:23.700 I don't even know

00:15:24.300 what the bowl was called,

00:15:25.280 but it's like a bowl shell.

00:15:27.000 Mm-hmm.

00:15:27.280 Like it's a bowl,

00:15:28.120 but it's like the bowl

00:15:29.320 was a shell.

00:15:30.480 And inside of that

00:15:31.260 you got like your meats,

00:15:33.200 your guacamole,

00:15:34.400 your rice,

00:15:35.320 beans.

00:15:36.400 I like all that.

00:15:36.820 You can just crush the bowl.

00:15:38.760 Uh-huh.

00:15:39.640 Exactly.

00:15:40.560 Hey,

00:15:41.020 whoever's doing that

00:15:42.600 is doing a great job.

00:15:43.520 Oh,

00:15:43.680 we about to pay that dude

00:15:44.540 $750 an hour,

00:15:45.740 I'll tell you that.

00:15:46.440 I can bear.

00:15:48.080 We keeping him.

00:15:49.160 Get a new job.

00:15:49.900 Get a new job.

00:15:51.300 God,

00:15:51.620 that does look good.

00:15:52.680 That's like a little magic hat

00:15:53.900 or something filled with a down.

00:15:55.560 A little Thanksgiving

00:15:56.280 and a little Mexican Thanksgiving

00:15:57.700 in there.

00:15:58.280 That was my,

00:15:59.860 every time I would leave work,

00:16:01.080 that's what I was taking with me.

00:16:02.820 Yeah.

00:16:03.420 Cabana bowl.

00:16:04.280 And what y'all had dessert choices

00:16:05.600 up there too?

00:16:06.700 Uh,

00:16:07.060 sopa pias.

00:16:07.980 Oh,

00:16:08.320 yeah.

00:16:08.720 Sopa pias.

00:16:09.200 God,

00:16:09.720 bro,

00:16:09.900 with ice cream with them?

00:16:11.180 Not ice cream,

00:16:12.160 but like it's some little icing

00:16:13.220 at the head.

00:16:13.860 I love those.

00:16:14.740 But yeah,

00:16:15.060 sopa pias.

00:16:15.720 That was my first time ever

00:16:16.820 having a sopa pias

00:16:18.380 was at that job.

00:16:19.880 And my favorite thing

00:16:20.480 to make there.

00:16:21.100 Yeah?

00:16:21.780 You just got to drop it

00:16:22.480 in some grease,

00:16:23.380 come out,

00:16:24.220 like the little perfect

00:16:25.020 little square thing

00:16:26.140 dipping in the sauce,

00:16:27.060 you're good.

00:16:27.600 Oh,

00:16:28.060 yeah.

00:16:29.220 And y'all could smoke

00:16:30.240 on a job?

00:16:30.860 Was that allowed

00:16:31.380 or not?

00:16:31.880 No.

00:16:32.520 And this was,

00:16:33.180 I was a football player

00:16:34.180 at that time,

00:16:34.620 so I wasn't really

00:16:35.220 just smoking.

00:16:36.680 I was on the whole,

00:16:38.680 some old other stuff.

00:16:40.380 See,

00:16:40.560 whenever I had jobs,

00:16:43.020 it's when I was kind of like

00:16:43.980 on a different path.

00:16:45.620 Whenever I didn't have a job,

00:16:47.440 it was a different path.

00:16:48.340 I was trying to be my own boss

00:16:49.800 at that time,

00:16:50.360 so.

00:16:51.360 What was,

00:16:52.200 you said one of your folks,

00:16:53.260 they had their own business.

00:16:54.300 What was their business

00:16:57.040 they had?

00:17:00.020 I mean,

00:17:00.680 it wasn't nothing

00:17:01.180 that you could like

00:17:01.740 write off on your taxes,

00:17:03.080 you know,

00:17:03.280 you could do taxes

00:17:04.060 and whatnot,

00:17:04.780 you know,

00:17:05.200 but yeah,

00:17:06.340 yeah,

00:17:06.620 and they paid the bills.

00:17:07.940 They got the bills paid.

00:17:09.000 Nobody fell out a W-9.

00:17:10.500 Nah,

00:17:10.760 nah,

00:17:10.900 nah,

00:17:11.100 nah,

00:17:11.400 nah,

00:17:11.700 nah,

00:17:12.000 nah,

00:17:12.300 nah,

00:17:12.580 nah.

00:17:13.460 Nah.

00:17:15.220 But the bills was paid,

00:17:16.980 it was closed on my back

00:17:18.080 and it was,

00:17:18.460 you know,

00:17:18.800 it was a roof off my head.

00:17:19.800 So I can't complain about it.

00:17:21.300 Yeah,

00:17:21.580 not at all,

00:17:22.380 man.

00:17:23.780 Do your parents,

00:17:24.240 are your parents still married or no?

00:17:25.420 No,

00:17:26.520 they was broke up

00:17:27.860 before I even came out the womb.

00:17:29.500 Oh,

00:17:29.760 wow.

00:17:30.220 But,

00:17:30.680 you know,

00:17:31.280 they're still good friends.

00:17:32.780 They,

00:17:32.960 they both helped take care of me.

00:17:34.420 Got,

00:17:34.660 made me the man I am today.

00:17:35.720 So,

00:17:36.660 I mean,

00:17:36.920 it worked out for me.

00:17:38.420 When,

00:17:39.420 what,

00:17:39.960 when you had,

00:17:40.780 cause you have how many children?

00:17:42.040 You said you have one daughter.

00:17:43.320 Yeah,

00:17:43.440 I got a,

00:17:43.960 I have a newborn little girl.

00:17:45.440 She's about to be eight months

00:17:47.040 and I got a little boy.

00:17:48.060 He's about to be six.

00:17:49.800 Nice.

00:17:50.660 Yeah,

00:17:51.040 yeah.

00:17:51.480 Oh,

00:17:51.760 I think I saw one of your videos maybe.

00:17:53.300 Yeah,

00:17:53.640 that's cool.

00:17:54.260 That's my dog right there. 0.91

00:17:55.520 Is he,

00:17:55.800 is he cool?

00:17:56.420 Yeah.

00:17:56.920 Yeah,

00:17:57.160 what does he like to do?

00:17:59.300 Huh,

00:17:59.800 cause havoc.

00:18:00.840 So my little boy got autism.

00:18:02.220 So,

00:18:03.140 he just,

00:18:03.720 he's just real,

00:18:04.720 he's him,

00:18:05.440 you know,

00:18:05.680 like he,

00:18:06.140 he's the one,

00:18:06.880 he'll sit here and be quiet one moment

00:18:08.440 and the next moment he trying to take something from you

00:18:12.220 and run around with it.

00:18:12.980 He just,

00:18:14.020 he a character,

00:18:14.720 man.

00:18:14.960 He's his own entity within himself.

00:18:16.740 Yeah,

00:18:16.880 Carter.

00:18:17.540 Yeah.

00:18:17.900 Oh,

00:18:18.320 he's a handsome guy.

00:18:19.420 Just like his daddy.

00:18:20.820 Yeah.

00:18:22.120 What,

00:18:23.000 if he has,

00:18:23.920 so autism,

00:18:24.740 does he have like,

00:18:26.000 um,

00:18:26.900 is it almost really interesting having a child with autism?

00:18:29.620 Cause it almost seems like it's more of a complex relationship.

00:18:32.240 So they're actually,

00:18:33.740 they're actually some of the smartest kids in the world,

00:18:35.540 smartest people in the world.

00:18:36.640 Oh yeah,

00:18:36.980 Elon Musk had all those guys out of autism.

00:18:38.840 For sure.

00:18:38.980 The guys that are making all the machinery now.

00:18:41.180 So really? 0.99

00:18:41.640 You gotta have autism to even get a damn job at somebody's joint. 0.99

00:18:44.880 But so, 0.99

00:18:45.420 so like with him,

00:18:46.240 it's just,

00:18:46.560 it's more like of his speech.

00:18:47.840 Like I could tell him,

00:18:49.460 turn on the TV,

00:18:50.520 I could ask him what you want to watch,

00:18:51.740 he can point it out,

00:18:52.420 it's just his speech.

00:18:53.260 Like,

00:18:54.080 it's like his words are out of the way to you.

00:18:55.320 But if you tell him,

00:18:57.400 I love you,

00:18:58.100 he'll say,

00:18:58.620 I love you,

00:18:59.080 like he can repeat anything you say,

00:19:00.620 whether it's good or bad,

00:19:01.460 he can repeat it.

00:19:02.440 It's just like,

00:19:02.880 he can't put it all together himself.

00:19:04.660 You know what I'm saying?

00:19:05.180 But he's,

00:19:06.180 he's as normal as could be.

00:19:08.340 He's smart as I don't know what.

00:19:10.480 He,

00:19:10.740 any kid that can,

00:19:13.180 that knows how to jump a fence. 0.86

00:19:14.760 You see what I'm saying?

00:19:15.360 To go get in the pool.

00:19:16.820 That knows how to say,

00:19:18.420 I want to go to dad's house.

00:19:20.380 And then when he gets to dad's house,

00:19:21.620 say,

00:19:22.320 pool.

00:19:22.780 Like,

00:19:23.020 I only came here for the pool.

00:19:24.740 That's the only reason I came.

00:19:26.260 He knows how to get in.

00:19:27.180 I done had to put thumbprint codes on my pantries.

00:19:31.540 Cause when he was with his mommy,

00:19:32.480 he's like a lot of organic foods.

00:19:35.480 And when,

00:19:35.740 you know,

00:19:35.940 when he come to dad's house,

00:19:36.740 you got the good snacks.

00:19:37.780 Yeah.

00:19:38.200 So now he know how to get in my pantry and climb up.

00:19:41.260 Yeah.

00:19:42.440 Carter is a character,

00:19:43.640 but that's my dog,

00:19:44.600 man.

00:19:44.740 That's my dog.

00:19:45.660 Were you scared about having children when you was going to have them?

00:19:48.240 Like,

00:19:48.380 cause I,

00:19:48.920 I,

00:19:49.180 you know,

00:19:49.340 I would like to have children.

00:19:50.180 I don't have any yet,

00:19:50.920 but I would like to have some.

00:19:51.860 But sometimes I'm like,

00:19:53.520 man,

00:19:53.920 is it just going to be such a big change?

00:19:55.700 I mean,

00:19:56.260 you gotta,

00:19:56.560 you gotta,

00:19:57.280 you gotta leave a legacy.

00:19:59.100 You gotta,

00:19:59.640 I've always wanted to,

00:20:00.700 I grew up in big families.

00:20:02.040 Like,

00:20:02.300 so on my dad's side,

00:20:03.280 whenever we did Christmas together,

00:20:05.220 everybody was spending the night at,

00:20:06.660 you know,

00:20:07.320 at grandma's house.

00:20:08.280 Everybody was,

00:20:09.160 like my granny got,

00:20:10.400 I got what?

00:20:11.020 one,

00:20:12.720 two,

00:20:13.040 three.

00:20:13.940 My granny got five kids. 1.00

00:20:15.480 My dad got six kids.

00:20:18.040 You know what I'm saying?

00:20:18.640 Like,

00:20:18.820 so that just,

00:20:19.680 it's just big over there.

00:20:20.700 And on my mom's side,

00:20:21.560 everybody just got kids.

00:20:23.800 So it's just,

00:20:24.460 I just grew up in a big family.

00:20:25.620 So I knew I always wanted a big family.

00:20:28.200 I didn't think I was going to start as early as I did,

00:20:30.400 but I really feel like I'm doing better.

00:20:32.560 Cause my mom and my dad,

00:20:33.840 they was,

00:20:34.700 my mom was 15. 0.98

00:20:36.240 My dad,

00:20:36.740 you see what I'm saying?

00:20:37.500 So.

00:20:38.300 Yeah.

00:20:38.500 A lot of,

00:20:39.580 we had in our,

00:20:40.320 yeah,

00:20:40.520 in our town,

00:20:41.200 a lot of the young,

00:20:42.620 a lot of the sisters,

00:20:43.380 they got a little bit pregnant early. 0.93

00:20:45.940 Yeah.

00:20:46.240 Yeah.

00:20:46.480 Yeah.

00:20:46.640 Yeah.

00:20:46.920 You didn't even,

00:20:48.160 we didn't even know.

00:20:49.220 We thought a lot of them just got kind of thick or whatever,

00:20:51.460 like one summer or whatever.

00:20:54.360 And then we were like, 0.99

00:20:55.660 damn, 0.99

00:20:56.100 everybody's thick all of a sudden. 1.00

00:20:57.780 Yeah.

00:20:58.020 Everybody got that baby.

00:20:59.180 Yeah.

00:20:59.420 And everybody had it.

00:21:00.440 Then they all had a baby.

00:21:02.440 Yeah.

00:21:02.800 They had a lot of them babies in our area. 0.99

00:21:07.420 Yeah.

00:21:07.800 I think that would be the wild thing.

00:21:09.280 Dude.

00:21:09.420 So were you already rapping?

00:21:10.340 When you,

00:21:10.760 when you had your son?

00:21:12.460 No.

00:21:13.580 Wow.

00:21:14.020 So was it kind of nervous,

00:21:15.200 like how I'm going to take care of him or it wasn't like,

00:21:17.240 it was.

00:21:17.680 I was,

00:21:18.180 I was sleeping.

00:21:20.100 I was at my granny house,

00:21:21.280 sleeping on the couch.

00:21:22.080 I had just got a job at UPS.

00:21:24.140 Oh yeah.

00:21:25.200 And.

00:21:25.520 They got good benefits over there.

00:21:27.160 They got good benefits over there.

00:21:27.360 No,

00:21:27.760 man.

00:21:27.920 Not unless you're a manager or like something to that sort.

00:21:31.320 Or you got to work there a certain amount of time.

00:21:33.380 It's,

00:21:33.460 it's,

00:21:33.820 it's,

00:21:34.180 it's not good.

00:21:34.920 It's not good.

00:21:35.840 But,

00:21:36.200 um,

00:21:37.940 yeah,

00:21:38.360 I had just,

00:21:38.980 I was staying in Austin,

00:21:39.820 Texas.

00:21:40.600 Whenever I went to school,

00:21:41.840 got kicked out of school,

00:21:43.160 I went to stay to Austin,

00:21:44.240 Texas with the mother of Carter.

00:21:46.740 And,

00:21:47.260 uh,

00:21:48.080 I went to jail,

00:21:49.360 got out where she was staying at.

00:21:51.700 I was,

00:21:52.460 I wasn't supposed to go to no more.

00:21:54.040 Like the restraining order.

00:21:55.780 I had a restraining order from the,

00:21:56.980 the apartment complex.

00:21:58.460 Cause what I had did was in the apartment complex.

00:22:00.680 Okay.

00:22:01.140 So when I got out,

00:22:03.360 we did what we did.

00:22:04.460 The one last time I left to go back to Dallas,

00:22:07.280 she caught me three months later telling me that she was pregnant.

00:22:09.860 Wow.

00:22:10.560 I said,

00:22:11.000 I'm sleeping on the couch in my granny house.

00:22:12.740 And I'm,

00:22:13.640 all I could tell it was,

00:22:14.600 all right,

00:22:14.840 babe, 0.51

00:22:15.820 I'm finna move you out here.

00:22:16.900 I'm on somebody's couch right now.

00:22:18.420 You can come sleep on this couch with me,

00:22:19.660 but I'm going to get this right.

00:22:20.580 Yeah.

00:22:20.940 She came.

00:22:21.480 I think she slept on the couch with me,

00:22:22.740 maybe two,

00:22:24.520 three weeks. 1.00

00:22:25.580 Damn. 1.00

00:22:25.900 And then I had a cell apartment. 0.99

00:22:27.540 It wasn't no furniture.

00:22:28.420 The first week or two,

00:22:30.640 we slept on each other lap.

00:22:31.880 What?

00:22:32.340 On a pallet on the floor.

00:22:34.120 I'll be the chair.

00:22:34.900 You'll be the chair.

00:22:35.560 Take turns.

00:22:36.260 Exactly.

00:22:36.800 And so,

00:22:37.180 but we made it,

00:22:37.740 we made it work.

00:22:38.540 So.

00:22:39.260 Wow.

00:22:40.500 That's wild,

00:22:41.200 man.

00:22:41.340 That takes some commitment,

00:22:42.260 huh?

00:22:42.660 Yeah.

00:22:42.960 Yeah.

00:22:43.140 That's why she's forever taken care of.

00:22:44.320 We're not even together now.

00:22:45.260 She got everything she could think of.

00:22:48.280 You know what I'm saying?

00:22:49.340 Tom's 10.

00:22:50.860 You have a lot of respect for her,

00:22:51.980 it sounds like.

00:22:52.180 For sure.

00:22:52.680 For sure.

00:22:53.100 If it wasn't for her,

00:22:53.720 I probably wouldn't be here.

00:22:54.980 Yeah.

00:22:55.380 And that's just me being honest.

00:22:57.720 What did you go to jail?

00:22:59.380 Did you say you went to jail?

00:23:00.340 What did you go to jail for?

00:23:03.020 So.

00:23:03.880 Well,

00:23:04.080 how about this?

00:23:04.520 What were the holidays like in jail?

00:23:09.040 What holiday did I spend in jail?

00:23:10.960 Did I spend the holiday?

00:23:12.160 I think I spent,

00:23:13.100 no,

00:23:13.280 I did.

00:23:13.580 I spent Thanksgiving in jail.

00:23:15.260 Oh yeah.

00:23:15.720 What's it like?

00:23:16.500 Do people get up early?

00:23:17.460 Is there anything special like on that?

00:23:19.600 You know what?

00:23:20.460 Now that I think about it though,

00:23:21.220 I was in solitary confinement though,

00:23:23.340 for that Thanksgiving.

00:23:24.460 So boom.

00:23:25.060 No,

00:23:25.160 no,

00:23:25.340 no.

00:23:25.880 Yeah,

00:23:26.260 yeah,

00:23:26.380 I was.

00:23:26.960 I was.

00:23:28.800 Yeah,

00:23:29.080 I was.

00:23:30.100 So it was just a bunch of screaming from door to door.

00:23:33.440 What?

00:23:33.660 You just hear people's voices?

00:23:34.640 Do people at least sing like a.

00:23:36.020 I mean,

00:23:37.780 you got,

00:23:38.420 there's people that sit there that's actually crazy.

00:23:40.520 You know what I'm saying?

00:23:41.000 So they actually do scream and do all the other stuff. 0.78

00:23:44.100 But they scream anything special like,

00:23:45.600 cause it's Thanksgiving.

00:23:46.360 That's what I'm wondering.

00:23:47.080 Oh,

00:23:47.400 no,

00:23:47.520 no,

00:23:47.640 no,

00:23:47.800 no,

00:23:47.940 no,

00:23:48.080 no,

00:23:48.180 no.

00:23:48.320 I was screaming something special on the day I got out.

00:23:51.620 It was a Tuesday.

00:23:52.580 Like the day I was supposed to go to court,

00:23:54.160 it was a Tuesday.

00:23:55.240 So when I woke up to take my shower,

00:23:56.940 I was just,

00:23:57.620 I was singing.

00:23:59.080 Tuesday,

00:24:00.180 Tuesday.

00:24:01.500 Like if you've ever seen Norby,

00:24:04.040 he was in the shower knowing that he had to go to the water park with all girl on a Tuesday.

00:24:08.060 That's exactly how it was.

00:24:09.540 Everybody that was in that room was just dying laughing.

00:24:12.000 It's a happy day.

00:24:12.920 Yeah,

00:24:13.140 it was a happy day.

00:24:14.380 Wow.

00:24:15.040 So yeah,

00:24:15.500 thanks.

00:24:15.760 What about Halloween?

00:24:16.560 Were you in there?

00:24:17.400 No.

00:24:18.760 No,

00:24:19.060 Halloween.

00:24:19.520 I was out.

00:24:20.900 Thanksgiving.

00:24:21.460 Yeah.

00:24:21.660 So do y'all get a special meal or like,

00:24:23.420 is there any,

00:24:24.340 I mean,

00:24:24.660 yeah,

00:24:24.780 they come,

00:24:25.200 they give you a little scoop of dressing and that,

00:24:27.880 but it's,

00:24:28.400 it's just not the same as.

00:24:30.040 Do y'all go around the table and like say what you're thankful for or anything like that?

00:24:33.120 Nah,

00:24:33.740 I doubt that's how it went.

00:24:35.460 You see,

00:24:35.860 there you go.

00:24:36.920 Oh,

00:24:37.880 who are those guys?

00:24:38.980 I don't know them.

00:24:40.580 Oh,

00:24:42.060 I don't know them.

00:24:45.220 Yeah.

00:24:45.640 Look,

00:24:45.840 I mean,

00:24:46.040 it definitely,

00:24:46.520 yeah,

00:24:46.660 it seems,

00:24:47.080 yeah,

00:24:47.220 I guess it wouldn't be the best,

00:24:48.320 like it wouldn't be the best.

00:24:50.100 Like really holidays,

00:24:51.400 holidays in jail.

00:24:52.900 I feel like they're not really celebrated because that's the time where everybody wishes that

00:24:58.000 they was with their family.

00:24:59.120 You know what I'm saying?

00:24:59.660 So that's when everybody,

00:25:01.120 it's kind of intense because everybody's upset.

00:25:03.440 Everybody want to be with their kids,

00:25:04.780 their moms,

00:25:05.540 their,

00:25:06.240 you know what I'm saying?

00:25:06.720 So everybody just kind of try to get through the day.

00:25:09.680 Yeah,

00:25:10.040 that's a good point.

00:25:10.740 I've never thought about that.

00:25:11.560 You kind of almost pretend like it's not that day.

00:25:13.580 Exactly.

00:25:14.500 Did they have like a lot of gay activity in jail?

00:25:16.560 Did you see any of it?

00:25:17.440 Or you hear about it sometimes on the internet?

00:25:19.000 There was one gay experience for me in jail and it was an older dude that had, he was in there

00:25:24.520 from stealing a bunch of wood from Home Depot. 0.99

00:25:28.660 Damn. 1.00

00:25:29.280 Probably going to build him a little gay hut. 1.00

00:25:30.920 I don't know. 0.99

00:25:31.960 A little sass shack. 0.94

00:25:33.380 He had been in there.

00:25:34.480 I don't think nobody knew that he was like that or whatever,

00:25:37.420 but you could tell he had been down a lot.

00:25:38.860 Like he done went to jail a bunch of times.

00:25:40.480 Yeah,

00:25:40.740 yeah.

00:25:41.280 And there was a,

00:25:42.320 there was a guy that came in there that was a dentist,

00:25:47.060 but he was a member of the LGBTQ community.

00:25:51.100 Okay.

00:25:52.480 And he came in with nothing.

00:25:54.540 Like he was from,

00:25:55.380 this is right when.

00:25:56.560 He was a dentist?

00:25:57.760 Yeah,

00:25:58.200 but he was illegal dentist.

00:25:59.960 You see what I'm saying?

00:26:00.320 Like,

00:26:00.580 so he knew how to do teeth,

00:26:01.580 but he didn't have,

00:26:02.400 he didn't have a storefront or the paperwork or anything.

00:26:05.440 He just,

00:26:05.880 you know what I'm saying?

00:26:06.560 Exactly.

00:26:07.040 He just knew how to do,

00:26:07.820 but he was from,

00:26:08.540 he was from Mexico.

00:26:09.300 This is when they were,

00:26:11.040 this is when the whole ice situation was going on and they were catching a bunch of the illegals 1.00

00:26:15.840 and sending them back.

00:26:18.200 And so my,

00:26:18.800 my pie was a bunch of illegals and he was one of the illegals, 0.98

00:26:22.780 but he just happened to be a part of the,

00:26:24.400 you know what I'm saying?

00:26:25.360 And so.

00:26:25.600 Right.

00:26:25.720 He was a gay gentleman,

00:26:26.440 but he also was a, 0.61

00:26:27.380 he did,

00:26:27.700 he did a dental.

00:26:28.720 He did dental.

00:26:29.480 And he would do dental in the,

00:26:30.800 in the.

00:26:31.180 No,

00:26:31.400 no,

00:26:31.500 no.

00:26:31.640 That's what,

00:26:32.120 that's how he got arrested.

00:26:32.900 When he got pulled over,

00:26:33.600 he had a bunch of dentist equipment and dentist stuff in his trunk and he just,

00:26:38.660 there was no license.

00:26:40.140 Wow.

00:26:40.700 Yeah.

00:26:40.980 So that's,

00:26:42.160 that's what got him.

00:26:43.000 But then on top of that,

00:26:44.000 like I said,

00:26:44.420 he was illegal.

00:26:46.580 Yeah.

00:26:46.980 So,

00:26:48.140 but yeah,

00:26:48.580 he didn't have nothing.

00:26:50.300 And the old G, 0.97

00:26:51.760 the old school,

00:26:52.440 he had some stuff.

00:26:54.020 And so he just basically took care of him and he had to take care of him.

00:26:58.300 So it was just kind of like a prison,

00:27:00.200 kind of a love story almost.

00:27:01.660 Exactly.

00:27:02.120 And we weren't even in prison.

00:27:03.100 We was just in jail.

00:27:04.560 But that,

00:27:04.960 yeah,

00:27:05.060 that kind of,

00:27:05.500 that messed me up though.

00:27:06.880 Yeah.

00:27:07.140 That messed me up.

00:27:08.320 Yes or not.

00:27:09.000 But even then,

00:27:09.640 at least you get to see somebody having some romance.

00:27:11.920 I guess that was almost,

00:27:12.860 I didn't see anything.

00:27:13.980 Yeah.

00:27:14.380 Or you get to,

00:27:15.140 or I guess it's,

00:27:17.400 yeah,

00:27:17.720 I don't know.

00:27:18.300 I didn't see anything.

00:27:19.340 I just,

00:27:19.780 you know,

00:27:20.000 you kind of put two and two together.

00:27:20.600 But you start to put two and two together.

00:27:22.020 Exactly.

00:27:22.260 But I bet some people get a little bit envious of like,

00:27:23.940 at least he got somebody,

00:27:25.180 you know?

00:27:26.960 I mean,

00:27:27.700 I,

00:27:28.040 hey,

00:27:28.760 I don't know.

00:27:29.420 I didn't think that way.

00:27:30.380 Yeah.

00:27:30.960 I just,

00:27:31.480 me neither,

00:27:32.100 dude.

00:27:32.380 I just,

00:27:33.140 but if,

00:27:33.860 yeah,

00:27:34.160 but that's love is love though.

00:27:36.540 Yeah.

00:27:36.900 If people are in for a long time,

00:27:38.720 I could see how if somebody was in for a long time and they're not going to get out,

00:27:42.980 they say,

00:27:43.540 I'm just going to have to figure this out over here and call.

00:27:46.480 I mean,

00:27:46.880 if you're in jail,

00:27:48.020 if you're in prison for the rest of your life,

00:27:52.500 no,

00:27:52.820 I can't even say that because then that insinuation,

00:27:54.620 if I was to ever go to prison for the rest of my life,

00:27:57.700 then I,

00:27:58.060 yeah,

00:27:58.360 yeah.

00:27:58.560 So I don't know.

00:27:59.620 We're here now.

00:28:00.840 Yeah.

00:28:01.460 Happy Thanksgiving.

00:28:02.740 Happy Thanksgiving.

00:28:04.480 Wow,

00:28:04.940 man.

00:28:05.080 Yeah.

00:28:05.260 I guess I wonder what the holidays are like in there and stuff like that.

00:28:08.200 But is there anything that you missed?

00:28:10.380 Wait,

00:28:10.580 what's the difference between jail and prison?

00:28:13.020 I've never been to prison,

00:28:14.160 so I can't really tell you how,

00:28:15.680 how bad prison get.

00:28:17.180 But from what I've heard,

00:28:20.220 it's just,

00:28:20.740 I mean,

00:28:20.960 you got to,

00:28:21.480 it's,

00:28:21.760 it's see jail,

00:28:23.720 you possibly going home.

00:28:25.040 You know what I'm saying?

00:28:25.660 Like you can,

00:28:26.780 can go home prison.

00:28:28.580 You know,

00:28:28.820 you're there for a little bit.

00:28:29.760 So that's when it's more hostile.

00:28:33.100 It's more gangs.

00:28:34.520 It's more,

00:28:35.700 you know what I'm saying?

00:28:36.120 That's where that stuff takes a play in.

00:28:38.640 Like the,

00:28:39.020 the gang wars and then the racial stuff,

00:28:42.900 that stuff is real in prison.

00:28:44.420 I hate all that.

00:28:45.260 Some people say that the,

00:28:46.160 the feds is better than prison.

00:28:48.440 Just because I have the strength.

00:28:49.880 It's for one,

00:28:50.440 I guess a lot more people with money there.

00:28:52.340 So,

00:28:52.660 and there's just a lot more stuff there.

00:28:54.400 Like tablets,

00:28:56.500 you know what I'm saying?

00:28:56.900 Well,

00:28:57.040 I mean,

00:28:57.320 everybody got tablets now,

00:28:58.380 even in,

00:28:58.820 even in prison,

00:28:59.480 they got tablets.

00:29:00.220 Yeah.

00:29:00.480 But it's just,

00:29:01.000 you know what I'm saying?

00:29:01.340 For a while.

00:29:01.840 Swings, 1.00

00:29:02.340 recess type shit, 0.98

00:29:03.720 outdoor stuff. 0.99

00:29:04.760 That's,

00:29:05.060 I've never been to prison.

00:29:06.180 I've never been to the feds.

00:29:07.260 I don't know.

00:29:07.720 I'm just going off of what I've been told,

00:29:10.560 but I know if jail sucked,

00:29:13.340 prison got to be worse.

00:29:14.780 Yeah.

00:29:15.300 And the feds got to be worse than that. 1.00

00:29:17.440 Damn. 1.00

00:29:18.180 You know? 0.99

00:29:18.840 So it's just like,

00:29:19.560 but if I ever go down and do some time,

00:29:21.000 I'd rather go to the feds because they just look like they,

00:29:24.160 they're not free,

00:29:25.060 but they're freer.

00:29:25.960 Yeah.

00:29:26.300 I'm saying a little more relaxed.

00:29:27.760 Yeah.

00:29:27.840 Exactly.

00:29:28.280 Exactly.

00:29:29.280 Yeah.

00:29:29.680 I don't know if I'm going to ever go to prison or not.

00:29:32.300 I mean,

00:29:32.860 I,

00:29:33.080 you know,

00:29:33.560 overall I would probably,

00:29:34.500 I would hope I didn't, 0.98

00:29:35.540 but don't fucking try me. 0.98

00:29:37.780 Yeah. 0.98

00:29:38.060 No,

00:29:38.260 for sure.

00:29:39.320 So that's how I think about some of that.

00:29:41.780 They say first impressions are important.

00:29:44.540 What about lasting impressions?

00:29:47.500 That's where blue chew comes in.

00:29:51.000 Blue chew helps give men longer lasting and stronger erections.

00:29:59.020 So you can perform at your very best.

00:30:01.800 Big boy.

00:32:13.620 Like what do you think gave you like such a good,

00:32:16.640 like at least kept you some motivation.

00:32:18.300 So you said like you learned that,

00:32:19.580 okay,

00:32:19.660 I don't really like working for somebody else.

00:32:21.300 Right.

00:32:22.260 And,

00:32:22.740 um,

00:32:22.960 I know that you played football for a while.

00:32:24.900 When did you like think like,

00:32:26.560 then rap is something I have to do.

00:32:28.600 Did it just kind of turn on for you?

00:32:30.860 I mean,

00:32:31.380 I think you're obviously a good communicator.

00:32:33.280 So you have that that was built into you.

00:32:35.560 When did it start to become lyrical for you?

00:32:39.360 So,

00:32:39.920 uh,

00:32:40.840 remember I told you I was in solitary confinement for Thanksgiving.

00:32:44.180 I had missed my son first birthday.

00:32:46.220 Oh,

00:32:46.640 me and in jail.

00:32:48.140 And so when I got out,

00:32:49.300 I knew I never wanted to work a real job,

00:32:52.080 obviously.

00:32:53.280 And on top of that,

00:32:54.900 when I got out,

00:32:55.520 I just couldn't do what I was doing no more.

00:32:57.860 Like all the street activity I was doing,

00:33:00.320 I had made a promise to my son that like,

00:33:02.220 you'll never not see your dad again.

00:33:03.760 I never miss another birthday.

00:33:05.320 I never miss another anything,

00:33:06.720 even though I kind of told a story because here I am here and he's in Texas,

00:33:10.960 you know what I'm saying?

00:33:11.500 But this is me doing what I got to do to benefit him.

00:33:14.580 You know what I'm saying?

00:33:16.040 But yeah,

00:33:18.340 yeah.

00:33:18.560 So I got out,

00:33:20.120 made the promises to him.

00:33:22.240 And so I just had to figure it out.

00:33:23.320 I had a,

00:33:24.240 he's not my artist,

00:33:25.200 but he also my cousin.

00:33:26.760 He was just a,

00:33:27.360 you know,

00:33:27.580 good friend at the time.

00:33:28.580 He just was like,

00:33:30.320 he'd been rapping since he was nine years old.

00:33:31.960 He's your real cousin?

00:33:32.940 Yeah.

00:33:33.400 Okay.

00:33:33.820 And so he had been telling me forever,

00:33:35.180 you need to rap,

00:33:35.860 you need to rap because we would do like little freestyle sessions and whatnot.

00:33:39.500 And I would freestyle and it'll be a group of us.

00:33:42.660 But he'll just look at me and be like,

00:33:43.920 bro,

00:33:44.780 you need to rap for real.

00:33:46.280 But I'm like,

00:33:46.920 bro,

00:33:47.040 you've been rapping since nine years old.

00:33:48.600 You ain't blew up yet.

00:33:49.540 Why would I,

00:33:50.040 why would I do that?

00:33:51.100 You know,

00:33:51.420 I would I.

00:33:51.560 Yeah,

00:33:51.660 we're not going to listen to you.

00:33:52.460 Exactly.

00:33:53.200 But whenever I got out and I just really didn't have nothing else,

00:33:57.160 you know what I'm saying?

00:33:57.640 Like what I was saying that I,

00:33:58.740 I was really trying to live up to that promise that I've made to my son.

00:34:01.700 So whenever he was like rap,

00:34:04.640 I was like,

00:34:05.060 all right,

00:34:05.320 bet.

00:34:05.820 And I tried it,

00:34:06.780 did maybe like three songs.

00:34:08.160 I liked the,

00:34:08.960 I liked the,

00:34:10.680 the feedback I got from,

00:34:12.440 you know what I'm saying?

00:34:12.900 Just from the,

00:34:13.780 our friend group.

00:34:14.920 Then it went past that to just people that we knew from school.

00:34:18.300 Then it went from that to people that we didn't know.

00:34:20.880 And so I was just like,

00:34:21.840 okay,

00:34:22.680 it's doing something.

00:34:23.620 So you just gave it to friends first.

00:34:25.520 Was it even like close friends or do you have like enough confidence?

00:34:28.000 You're like,

00:34:28.220 all right,

00:34:28.440 I'm going to put this,

00:34:29.240 I'm going to.

00:34:30.380 I mean,

00:34:30.660 of course I just,

00:34:31.880 I didn't even know how to drop music.

00:34:33.440 Ro told me distro kit.

00:34:34.860 So I just went through distro kit.

00:34:37.100 But like I said,

00:34:38.660 I,

00:34:38.860 when I was dropping them,

00:34:39.660 it was just,

00:34:40.140 I was just telling my immediate friend group.

00:34:42.460 Yeah.

00:34:43.160 But then when I started noticing that I was getting tags and stuff from people that I didn't know.

00:34:48.220 That's wild.

00:34:48.920 I was like,

00:34:49.500 okay,

00:34:49.880 this is,

00:34:50.280 it's doing a little,

00:34:50.880 it's doing a little something.

00:34:52.320 Then just to walk around my own city and everybody know me.

00:34:55.380 I go in any club,

00:34:56.400 everybody knew me.

00:34:57.660 I was like,

00:34:57.940 all right,

00:34:58.240 you,

00:34:58.660 this is really,

00:34:59.500 it's really happening.

00:35:00.460 That's crazy.

00:35:01.640 Yeah.

00:35:02.000 Then I got my first,

00:35:03.240 I got my first deal in like in six months,

00:35:06.380 my first distribution deal.

00:35:07.540 It was under six months.

00:35:09.520 So once that happened,

00:35:11.100 I just went from there.

00:35:12.200 I just,

00:35:12.980 I seen I had made a little bag off of it because I didn't,

00:35:15.560 I didn't touch a lot of money in my life,

00:35:16.960 but I ain't never touched nothing.

00:35:19.120 Like I've never had a hundred thousand dollars.

00:35:20.880 I was sitting in my hand at one point in time.

00:35:22.340 Yeah.

00:35:23.020 And when I did that distribution deal,

00:35:24.660 I had that.

00:35:26.120 And so I was like,

00:35:27.560 me doing something non illegal.

00:35:31.080 I just touched a hundred thousand dollars at one time.

00:35:33.860 You must've been like,

00:35:34.740 dang,

00:35:35.180 this is it.

00:35:36.200 Yeah.

00:35:36.940 And then like three months later,

00:35:38.600 I was broke.

00:35:39.240 Would you get a water slot or something?

00:35:42.740 No,

00:35:43.180 I just was,

00:35:43.860 you know,

00:35:44.660 doing for everybody. 0.99

00:35:47.380 Everybody buy some wild shit when they get a little bit of money. 0.99

00:35:49.680 Now they'll tell you, 0.99

00:35:50.300 I didn't even,

00:35:50.660 I didn't have no big chains.

00:35:51.880 I didn't even want no chains.

00:35:53.060 To this day,

00:35:53.560 I wouldn't have this chain if they wouldn't tell me,

00:35:56.460 bro,

00:35:56.640 you got an image that you got to uphold.

00:35:58.060 You're the biggest rapper in Texas.

00:35:59.360 You can't,

00:36:00.340 but I don't,

00:36:01.080 I never cared about none of that at first.

00:36:02.760 I kind of got addicted after I start paying.

00:36:05.120 Oh yeah.

00:36:06.060 You get some nice carpet or whatever.

00:36:07.800 You get a rug,

00:36:08.600 a nice table. 1.00

00:36:09.360 You start buying all kinds of shit. 1.00

00:36:10.780 Exactly. 1.00

00:36:12.320 Silverware with your name on it.

00:36:13.780 Yeah.

00:36:14.280 So with my name on it,

00:36:15.740 it's crazy.

00:36:16.480 But now,

00:36:16.860 yeah.

00:36:17.880 So I had the smallest chains.

00:36:19.720 I just was doing for people around me.

00:36:21.000 I go in the mall.

00:36:22.600 I couldn't even find nothing for me to wear in the mall.

00:36:25.540 I would go to the mall to buy shoes and just tell my friends,

00:36:29.040 hey,

00:36:29.360 y'all get whatever y'all want.

00:36:30.420 Oh,

00:36:30.620 that's good.

00:36:30.980 You know what I'm saying?

00:36:31.260 Like my mama,

00:36:32.280 anytime she would ask for anything,

00:36:33.900 giving it to her,

00:36:34.620 my pops,

00:36:35.180 anything,

00:36:36.020 I was just doing it.

00:36:36.920 You know what I'm saying?

00:36:37.420 And then I looked up one day and I was down to like $25,000.

00:36:43.080 I was like, 0.99

00:36:43.580 oh shit. 1.00

00:36:44.360 It goes fast too. 1.00

00:36:45.620 And you got to pay taxes.

00:36:46.960 You don't even think about that.

00:36:47.760 And I didn't think about none of that.

00:36:48.820 I didn't think about none of that.

00:36:49.780 And so I just had to,

00:36:50.900 I really just put my foot down and grind it and I got it all back.

00:36:53.580 And then next thing I know that a hundred went to,

00:36:58.200 I just,

00:36:58.740 we went crazy after that,

00:36:59.980 you know?

00:37:00.320 And so I independent.

00:37:02.340 So all my money come to me.

00:37:04.420 Hell yeah.

00:37:04.920 Yeah.

00:37:05.240 We did good.

00:37:06.940 Yeah.

00:37:07.200 That's the same.

00:37:07.800 We work for ourselves here too.

00:37:09.660 It's inspiring.

00:37:10.320 I see a lot of guys out there like that.

00:37:11.540 Lil Russell,

00:37:12.040 you ever see him?

00:37:13.020 Yeah.

00:37:13.760 Yeah.

00:37:14.160 He go crazy.

00:37:14.980 Bro,

00:37:15.220 his bars are good,

00:37:16.520 man.

00:37:16.720 And he's so like inspirational.

00:37:18.660 He's got this whole thing,

00:37:20.000 man. 1.00

00:37:20.120 He does half the shit in his back. 1.00

00:37:21.620 He already, 1.00

00:37:22.340 he's sewing half the sweaters himself that he's slinging,

00:37:24.900 man.

00:37:25.020 He puts it together.

00:37:26.560 He's really inspiring.

00:37:27.640 I like watching him.

00:37:30.300 Do you see that Trump thing that happened with the guy?

00:37:32.760 What?

00:37:33.200 Made the joke yesterday.

00:37:34.840 I have not been in a debate situation at all,

00:37:38.240 actually.

00:37:38.820 Well,

00:37:38.940 this is a comedian.

00:37:39.640 They just had him in yesterday.

00:37:40.700 This is Tony Hinchcliffe.

00:37:41.660 He's a friend of mine and he just,

00:37:43.360 so they put him up at the,

00:37:45.540 at Madison Square Gardens last time in New York city.

00:37:48.040 They put him up to speak.

00:37:49.560 And then this was a joke that he told us.

00:37:51.080 Just everybody's going crazy about it today.

00:37:53.720 Like,

00:37:53.980 I don't know if you guys know this,

00:37:55.060 but there's literally a floating Island of garbage in the middle of the

00:37:58.800 ocean right now.

00:38:00.120 Yeah.

00:38:00.580 I think it's called Puerto Rico.

00:38:04.060 Okay.

00:38:04.720 So that's the joke he told,

00:38:06.160 right?

00:38:06.540 At like a Madison Square Garden rally,

00:38:08.500 I guess.

00:38:09.440 So people are up in arms about it.

00:38:11.580 Cause a lot of people are Puerto Rican in New York.

00:38:14.240 Yeah.

00:38:14.940 Yeah.

00:38:15.140 That was,

00:38:15.480 that was,

00:38:16.040 you know,

00:38:16.360 that was a very crazy statement.

00:38:19.140 Yeah.

00:38:19.600 I just see.

00:38:20.220 Yeah.

00:38:20.380 That seemed like a unique choice to me,

00:38:22.480 but I don't know.

00:38:23.480 I've made some poor choices,

00:38:24.420 but I haven't made that one.

00:38:27.080 I think we've all made a poor,

00:38:28.500 a poor choice.

00:38:29.360 Oh yeah.

00:38:29.980 Once before.

00:38:30.820 I've made a ton.

00:38:32.020 Do you guys,

00:38:33.040 do you feel like Texas rocks with Trump or you feel like,

00:38:35.280 are you a political guy?

00:38:36.500 I'm not a political guy.

00:38:37.660 I just listen,

00:38:39.280 I keep my head down.

00:38:40.120 And I make the money that I can make,

00:38:41.720 how I can make it.

00:38:43.180 As long as I can keep taking care of my kids.

00:38:44.980 I don't care about what,

00:38:46.180 you know,

00:38:46.420 everything.

00:38:47.300 Hey,

00:38:47.640 we,

00:38:47.780 we gotta go to war.

00:38:48.580 We gotta go to war. 0.83

00:38:49.220 We don't,

00:38:49.580 we don't.

00:38:50.500 You just gotta be ready for whatever come.

00:38:52.400 Yeah.

00:38:52.780 You be a paratrooper,

00:38:53.960 Duke.

00:38:54.680 Looking at that video of yours,

00:38:55.860 we'll send you in.

00:38:56.900 And I feel like I'm to the point now where they wouldn't even ask me,

00:39:03.100 you know,

00:39:04.020 like if,

00:39:04.540 if,

00:39:04.840 if the world was to end,

00:39:06.220 you know how like in all the world in the movies,

00:39:08.560 there's always like those two ships or two boats.

00:39:12.700 I think I've made it to get on one of those now.

00:39:15.620 Like I'm on the list.

00:39:17.200 Right.

00:39:17.380 They're going to keep you.

00:39:18.240 Exactly.

00:39:18.700 Like plus two.

00:39:19.640 Yeah.

00:39:20.660 So.

00:39:21.700 And you have to bring your children probably.

00:39:23.240 Yeah,

00:39:23.440 obviously,

00:39:24.140 obviously.

00:39:25.520 But do,

00:39:26.820 or do I bring two women? 1.00

00:39:28.320 Ooh.

00:39:28.940 So that I can repopulate.

00:39:30.440 Start more children.

00:39:32.640 Yeah.

00:39:34.120 One kid,

00:39:35.680 one woman.

00:39:36.880 And the other kids.

00:39:37.760 Nah,

00:39:38.000 nah,

00:39:38.240 nah.

00:39:38.440 I gotta take both my kids.

00:39:40.080 I gotta take both my kids.

00:39:42.120 That's the best answer to end on.

00:39:43.700 I think for that.

00:39:45.680 Yeah.

00:39:45.920 People bet on it now.

00:39:46.980 Two people betting on the election.

00:39:48.440 They have,

00:39:49.580 you ever seen this?

00:39:50.660 So this,

00:39:51.040 cause a lot of it is,

00:39:51.840 it's like,

00:39:52.060 well,

00:39:52.220 where's people's money at?

00:39:53.240 Cause that's where they're really,

00:39:54.580 that's where you follow the money everywhere.

00:39:56.800 Everywhere.

00:39:57.260 That's where you really learn things.

00:39:58.640 I find.

00:39:59.400 And they have Calci.

00:40:00.540 This is a website where people bet on the election.

00:40:03.280 And it's,

00:40:04.040 yeah,

00:40:04.280 Trump's at 62% now there.

00:40:06.280 And Kamala is at 38%.

00:40:08.620 What else do they have on there?

00:40:12.260 Trevon,

00:40:12.700 if you can bring something up.

00:40:13.940 Oh,

00:40:14.120 how many number one songs this year on billboard?

00:40:17.260 But you can bet on all,

00:40:18.280 all types of stuff.

00:40:19.800 Grammy nominations for album of the year.

00:40:23.240 Who's that?

00:40:24.280 Cowboy Carter.

00:40:27.520 Casey has 93%.

00:40:29.140 Casey Musgraves,

00:40:30.020 Chris Stapleton.

00:40:31.500 Will a big X win a Grammy,

00:40:33.620 right?

00:40:33.840 You could bet on that.

00:40:34.600 You could bet on anything,

00:40:35.660 you know,

00:40:36.120 and they probably have some of it on there,

00:40:38.060 but what is he at right now?

00:40:39.120 What's it at right now?

00:40:40.040 Go back.

00:40:40.560 Oh,

00:40:42.500 it's Trump's 62%.

00:40:43.660 And the money that's been bet,

00:40:45.080 $86 million.

00:40:46.440 That's crazy.

00:40:47.300 That's crazy,

00:40:48.620 bro.

00:40:49.080 That is so crazy.

00:40:52.240 Like,

00:40:52.740 as your life has kind of taken some new turns,

00:40:54.600 you've had new opportunities.

00:40:55.600 Have you,

00:40:56.400 have there been any new mentors that have come into your life?

00:40:59.240 Or like,

00:40:59.960 people that you start to see like,

00:41:01.960 this person,

00:41:03.160 I feel something that they're doing is interesting,

00:41:05.880 or I could learn from it.

00:41:06.980 And that you kind of have created relationships with yet?

00:41:13.380 Like I said,

00:41:14.000 I keep my head down.

00:41:16.420 I mean,

00:41:16.960 I just recently did an interview with,

00:41:19.620 you know,

00:41:20.300 the million dollars worth of gain,

00:41:21.360 Wallow and Gilly.

00:41:22.820 Yeah,

00:41:23.220 I saw some of it.

00:41:24.200 But I mean,

00:41:25.040 it's,

00:41:25.640 I don't really,

00:41:27.580 I don't know,

00:41:27.880 I'm not a big industry person,

00:41:29.360 man.

00:41:29.460 I'm not going to lie to you.

00:41:30.480 I don't,

00:41:31.160 like,

00:41:31.420 I keep relationships that are meant to be kept.

00:41:33.500 Like,

00:41:33.860 you know,

00:41:34.100 I'm not,

00:41:35.220 I'm not going to overextend my,

00:41:36.980 myself,

00:41:38.280 it's just got to be genuine.

00:41:39.480 And a lot of this stuff is not genuine.

00:41:41.360 Oh,

00:41:41.620 yes,

00:41:41.880 it works.

00:41:42.540 I just,

00:41:42.980 I just kind of stated myself,

00:41:46.180 I don't know,

00:41:46.580 I feel like if I,

00:41:47.560 if anything,

00:41:48.340 my biggest mentor is like,

00:41:50.560 my son,

00:41:51.360 you know what I'm saying?

00:41:51.860 Just because,

00:41:53.280 I feel like you go through everything you're going through,

00:41:55.300 and you still,

00:41:55.940 you get up and you smile every day.

00:41:57.680 Yeah.

00:41:58.020 Even though you might not know what's going on,

00:42:00.080 you just,

00:42:00.600 you know,

00:42:00.860 you get up and smile every day,

00:42:02.420 not even knowing,

00:42:03.260 you know what I'm saying?

00:42:03.700 So,

00:42:04.160 Right.

00:42:04.620 I have to say my,

00:42:05.720 him.

00:42:06.380 Yeah.

00:42:07.420 Everybody else,

00:42:08.040 I feel like,

00:42:09.780 I don't know,

00:42:10.280 I did everything that I've done to get here,

00:42:12.020 I feel like I do it on my own.

00:42:13.500 Like,

00:42:15.480 so I ain't about it.

00:42:16.360 Yeah,

00:42:16.680 you don't need,

00:42:17.180 I guess,

00:42:17.440 an industry,

00:42:18.120 you don't,

00:42:18.460 yeah,

00:42:18.620 maybe you're your own mentor.

00:42:19.780 That's interesting,

00:42:20.480 your son could be your mentor in a way,

00:42:22.220 because it really is.

00:42:23.220 A mentor is just kind of a source of inspiration,

00:42:24.980 kind of.

00:42:25.100 No,

00:42:25.280 for sure,

00:42:25.540 because there's days that I don't want to get up,

00:42:26.940 and I don't want to do none of this,

00:42:28.160 you know what I'm saying?

00:42:28.640 But if my son can get up every day and go to school and had a bigger smile on his face,

00:42:34.120 and have good days,

00:42:35.600 why can I not,

00:42:36.560 you know?

00:42:36.820 Yeah.

00:42:37.220 So.

00:42:38.600 Do you,

00:42:39.440 you ever listen to Jelly Roll?

00:42:40.700 You ever met Jelly Roll?

00:42:41.720 Man,

00:42:42.040 I've never met him,

00:42:43.160 but I've heard,

00:42:43.880 I've heard that he loves me,

00:42:45.260 man,

00:42:45.440 I love Jelly Roll.

00:42:46.900 I got,

00:42:47.400 Y'all would make us sick.

00:42:48.600 Y'all could put something together.

00:42:49.680 I don't know if you do that kind of stuff.

00:42:50.920 You have,

00:42:51.220 you have some collabs,

00:42:52.100 right?

00:42:53.460 For sure.

00:42:54.140 Yeah,

00:42:54.600 bro.

00:42:54.900 He's,

00:42:55.240 he's the one of the most genuine dudes.

00:42:57.180 I'm actually,

00:42:57.660 I'm supposed to be doing a country tape next,

00:43:00.520 and he supposed to be on it.

00:43:02.360 Yeah.

00:43:02.720 Yes,

00:43:02.960 sir.

00:43:03.220 Yes,

00:43:03.380 sir.

00:43:03.640 So.

00:43:03.920 Who else will be on it?

00:43:04.660 You think Shabuzi,

00:43:05.440 maybe?

00:43:05.920 Shabuzi for sure.

00:43:06.980 That's,

00:43:07.240 that's,

00:43:07.440 that's my dog.

00:43:08.520 I think I got an unread text from him right now on my phone.

00:43:11.320 I just texted my body.

00:43:11.720 What's he like?

00:43:12.280 I got to sit near him at a,

00:43:13.580 we went to a women's basketball game.

00:43:15.300 Don't tell anybody.

00:43:16.360 So.

00:43:16.840 But we went,

00:43:17.720 and,

00:43:18.640 but it was the Las Vegas Aces,

00:43:19.980 and they played good.

00:43:21.720 I had no idea Shabuzi was 29.

00:43:24.960 You're old,

00:43:25.620 buddy.

00:43:26.360 You,

00:43:26.880 you,

00:43:27.120 you,

00:43:27.340 you're old. 0.68

00:43:28.220 You're old.

00:43:29.380 I thought he was my age.

00:43:31.600 Shabuzi,

00:43:32.120 29. 1.00

00:43:32.880 He a damn adult. 0.99

00:43:34.440 I didn't, 0.99

00:43:34.760 I didn't know he was a tourist,

00:43:35.940 though.

00:43:36.140 His birthday,

00:43:36.580 two days before mine.

00:43:38.120 Oh, 1.00

00:43:38.320 he's a damn tourist as well. 1.00

00:43:39.760 Yeah. 1.00

00:43:40.800 Wow.

00:43:41.200 But now he's,

00:43:42.400 like I told you,

00:43:43.020 it's not a,

00:43:43.400 it's not a lot of genuine stuff in this industry.

00:43:45.680 And he,

00:43:46.860 him and Ellie Chopper,

00:43:48.820 it's just,

00:43:52.220 as far as rappers,

00:43:53.200 that's really,

00:43:53.660 you know,

00:43:53.920 just it.

00:43:54.420 But like,

00:43:54.680 they,

00:43:54.960 they were most genuine guys.

00:43:57.000 I mean,

00:43:57.100 they,

00:43:57.840 I can call him Ellie Chopper right now.

00:44:00.080 He,

00:44:00.280 he just called me the other day and thanked me because

00:44:02.360 whenever he was going,

00:44:04.080 whenever he transitioned to that,

00:44:05.540 if I was a bad,

00:44:07.580 like he,

00:44:08.180 we,

00:44:08.400 he was on the way to go to Rolling Loud.

00:44:10.540 You know,

00:44:10.700 the first time he performed it was at the Rolling Loud.

00:44:12.800 I had just left Rolling Loud.

00:44:14.300 So I,

00:44:14.620 we had the same hotel.

00:44:15.920 We had already done a song before then,

00:44:18.340 but,

00:44:18.620 we were chopping it up and in the back,

00:44:20.880 you could hear the song playing.

00:44:21.940 Like,

00:44:22.460 he had somebody in the back specifically holding a speaker to play that song.

00:44:26.700 And,

00:44:26.960 you know,

00:44:27.840 a lot of people just didn't really understand what he had going.

00:44:30.840 They didn't see where,

00:44:31.980 I didn't,

00:44:32.420 I didn't even see the vision.

00:44:33.400 He's out,

00:44:33.780 he's set.

00:44:34.420 But I just knew,

00:44:35.580 you know what I'm saying?

00:44:35.980 At the end of the day,

00:44:37.320 as long as you're comfortable with doing what you're doing,

00:44:39.040 and you know your,

00:44:39.720 your reasons behind doing what you're doing,

00:44:41.320 then why not do it?

00:44:42.180 Like,

00:44:42.380 you,

00:44:42.700 you young.

00:44:43.820 Yeah.

00:44:44.040 At the end of the day,

00:44:45.600 they doing all this other crazy stuff,

00:44:47.380 why you can't do it?

00:44:48.700 And so he just basically thanked me the other day for just,

00:44:50.680 you know,

00:44:51.800 basically accepting,

00:44:53.260 you know what I'm saying,

00:44:53.660 what he had going,

00:44:54.300 basically believing in what he had going.

00:44:56.760 Like I said,

00:44:57.580 that's my God,

00:44:58.160 man.

00:44:58.520 I got to get him on.

00:44:59.140 He just reached out and said thank you?

00:45:00.380 Yeah,

00:45:00.720 I swear,

00:45:01.280 I was getting my haircut at my house,

00:45:02.580 he called me.

00:45:03.480 He was in Tokyo.

00:45:04.920 He was in Japan. 1.00

00:45:05.860 Damn. 1.00

00:45:06.460 They getting him over there, 1.00

00:45:07.520 I guess.

00:45:07.820 It was,

00:45:08.140 it was broad daylight.

00:45:09.180 Japanese,

00:45:09.780 they love everything.

00:45:10.960 Yeah,

00:45:11.140 it was broad daylight where he was,

00:45:12.600 now it was dark where I was,

00:45:13.740 you know what I'm saying,

00:45:14.220 and he was just calling me,

00:45:15.180 he had just got to shower.

00:45:16.480 He was like,

00:45:16.880 yeah,

00:45:17.040 man,

00:45:17.200 I just want to let you know I appreciate you,

00:45:18.440 I thank you.

00:45:19.660 But yeah,

00:45:19.920 Shabuza,

00:45:20.300 that's my dog.

00:45:20.740 I was just with him in New York.

00:45:22.240 I was trying to bring him out to the show today,

00:45:23.920 but he in LA now.

00:45:25.980 He's all over.

00:45:26.700 Yeah,

00:45:26.800 we sat next to each other at a game.

00:45:28.200 It was pretty good.

00:45:29.260 Watching the Vegas Aces is good,

00:45:30.840 man.

00:45:31.220 Yeah,

00:45:31.580 I got to go see a,

00:45:32.520 I got to go see a women's basketball game.

00:45:34.020 I feel like it's more intense.

00:45:36.140 I can relate to their games,

00:45:37.320 because I can't dunk,

00:45:38.500 they can't dunk.

00:45:39.120 Exactly,

00:45:39.360 exactly.

00:45:40.320 I feel that.

00:45:40.820 So every time they trying to dunk,

00:45:42.480 and they can't,

00:45:43.600 that's Ryan.

00:45:44.260 You feel it.

00:45:44.900 Yeah.

00:45:45.300 I feel it,

00:45:45.880 I feel it.

00:45:46.540 I'm like,

00:45:46.860 I got,

00:45:47.240 I know what these women are going through. 1.00

00:45:48.740 I actually can't dunk.

00:45:50.360 My manager just didn't get footage of it.

00:45:52.320 Really?

00:45:52.680 Because he,

00:45:53.140 you know,

00:45:53.440 he almost got fired that day as well.

00:45:55.480 But I was just recently shooting a Pride Speaks commercial.

00:45:58.780 Big shout out to Pride Speaks,

00:46:00.180 and I dunked a bar.

00:46:02.180 He really?

00:46:03.640 I'm lying.

00:46:06.740 We won't say what he said.

00:46:09.380 No,

00:46:09.900 he said,

00:46:10.140 I'm not lying.

00:46:11.600 You're not lying.

00:46:13.520 I dunked a bar.

00:46:14.380 Wow,

00:46:14.760 really?

00:46:15.980 They don't believe it.

00:46:17.160 No,

00:46:17.360 I believe it,

00:46:17.820 man.

00:46:17.840 See,

00:46:17.980 this is why you needed the footage.

00:46:19.040 I believe it,

00:46:19.580 I believe it.

00:46:19.980 This is why you needed the footage.

00:46:22.480 So,

00:46:23.180 that's all I'm saying.

00:46:23.980 Drewski was there,

00:46:24.740 Freddie Marco was there.

00:46:26.060 Wait,

00:46:26.380 was Sketch there too?

00:46:27.680 Yes.

00:46:28.040 Yeah,

00:46:28.320 Sketch and Drewski was there?

00:46:29.440 Yes,

00:46:29.800 sir.

00:46:29.960 Oh,

00:46:30.260 yeah.

00:46:30.540 How was that?

00:46:31.100 I heard it was good.

00:46:31.840 It was all for Pride Speaks? 0.74

00:46:33.300 Yeah,

00:46:33.540 it was long,

00:46:34.420 but we got the job.

00:46:35.240 I got to be right there,

00:46:35.840 yeah,

00:46:36.160 I seen it before I said that.

00:46:37.360 Yeah,

00:46:37.560 yeah,

00:47:53.840 What was he doing,

00:47:54.460 mic apps?

00:47:55.540 Nah,

00:47:56.620 this is how old,

00:47:57.060 this is how old the guys laugh.

00:47:58.660 Oh,

00:47:58.680 yeah.

00:48:00.480 How old his laugh at.

00:48:02.420 Glucose mama jokes. 1.00

00:48:03.820 What?

00:48:04.140 Like,

00:48:04.280 what?

00:48:06.280 Oh,

00:48:06.820 no.

00:48:07.940 Whew.

00:48:08.900 But yeah,

00:48:09.240 he a character,

00:48:09.940 man.

00:48:10.560 Drewski,

00:48:11.280 everybody know.

00:48:13.300 Everybody know Drewski a character.

00:48:14.940 Oh,

00:48:15.180 Drewski's a best,

00:48:16.080 man.

00:48:16.580 I did a,

00:48:17.620 me and Drewski did a fake movie.

00:48:20.280 It was like a fake movie.

00:48:21.600 Mm-hmm.

00:48:22.040 Like,

00:48:22.360 that we made.

00:48:23.240 Mm-hmm. 1.00

00:48:23.480 This shit was messed up. 1.00

00:48:24.980 So, 1.00

00:48:25.620 the family is called the Diggers is their last name,

00:48:28.860 right?

00:48:29.080 Drewski wrote it.

00:48:30.140 Okay.

00:48:30.820 So,

00:48:32.960 we're at the,

00:48:33.560 one of them,

00:48:34.180 the dad dies.

00:48:35.400 It's Drewski and his sister,

00:48:36.580 they own,

00:48:37.040 they're inheriting a funeral parlor.

00:48:38.620 Mm-hmm.

00:48:39.000 And then I'm married to Drewski's sister.

00:48:41.340 Okay.

00:48:41.860 And so,

00:48:42.280 I'm getting part of the funeral parlor.

00:48:44.380 Okay.

00:48:44.860 And they're not happy about it.

00:48:46.940 But anyway,

00:48:47.620 we're at the,

00:48:48.120 we're at the funeral of the dad,

00:48:50.540 the guy that died.

00:48:51.940 Mm-hmm.

00:48:52.400 And the last name is,

00:48:53.600 his name was Nathan Digger,

00:48:55.120 right?

00:48:55.380 And so,

00:48:55.700 I had to make a speech in front of all these people.

00:49:00.040 And it was like,

00:49:01.060 man,

00:49:02.520 I don't know if I can say this right now,

00:49:04.480 but I was like,

00:49:04.880 man,

00:49:05.080 this is the best Digger we ever had in the whole world,

00:49:08.240 right? 0.95

00:49:08.840 And it was a room full of black folks who didn't, 1.00

00:49:11.160 I didn't know any of them.

00:49:13.440 And Drewski and them are in the back just howling,

00:49:16.260 bro.

00:49:16.380 And I'm just having to keep,

00:49:17.740 I had to do it like 15 times.

00:49:20.260 Oh yeah,

00:49:20.700 yeah,

00:49:20.920 yeah,

00:49:21.280 yeah.

00:49:21.820 Finally,

00:49:22.240 I was like,

00:49:22.500 man,

00:49:22.700 I can't do this anymore.

00:49:23.940 it would have got awkward after a while.

00:49:25.900 Yeah,

00:49:26.320 bro,

00:49:26.680 right in before.

00:49:27.260 Even if,

00:49:27.900 even if I know that you're saying this other word,

00:49:30.440 after like the seventh time,

00:49:31.940 it starts to sound like the other word,

00:49:34.180 you know?

00:49:35.440 Dude,

00:49:35.860 it was,

00:49:36.320 yeah,

00:49:36.620 it got really scary even for a little while.

00:49:40.160 but they,

00:49:40.640 it was,

00:49:41.340 Drewski's hilarious,

00:49:42.260 dude.

00:52:46.560 Plug,

00:52:46.860 there's sending a lot of people to space.

00:52:48.000 Would you ever go to space

00:52:49.080 if we needed you out there?

00:52:50.820 A lot of people

00:52:51.520 would have to go before me.

00:52:54.000 Like,

00:52:55.060 you would have,

00:52:55.620 like,

00:52:55.760 a group of people would have,

00:52:57.000 like,

00:52:57.260 not the astronauts that,

00:52:59.920 like,

00:53:00.160 you would have,

00:53:00.700 because they said

00:53:01.100 they're supposed to be building

00:53:01.760 a hotel up there or something.

00:53:02.940 Yeah.

00:53:04.220 Somebody gotta go stay

00:53:05.520 in that hotel for a week

00:53:06.900 and come back safely.

00:53:09.720 And they gotta check

00:53:10.460 all their blood,

00:53:11.520 you know,

00:53:11.880 their vitals.

00:53:12.980 And if everything good,

00:53:14.760 I'd go on,

00:53:15.520 like,

00:53:15.560 the third or fourth group trip.

00:53:17.660 You know what I'm saying?

00:53:18.100 I'd go on that.

00:53:19.340 I would.

00:53:20.080 That'd be wild

00:53:20.780 if you were out there.

00:53:21.700 It would,

00:53:22.200 because I would be lighter.

00:53:23.760 Yeah.

00:53:24.640 That's really where I would go.

00:53:25.620 Lean with it,

00:53:26.140 rock with it, boy.

00:53:26.880 Exactly.

00:53:27.460 I would make,

00:53:28.080 I would,

00:53:29.100 I have so many captions

00:53:30.160 when I come back.

00:53:32.260 Man.

00:53:33.740 Yeah,

00:53:34.080 and I wonder if you could

00:53:34.580 write different bars

00:53:35.380 if you were in space,

00:53:36.180 because it would affect you differently.

00:53:37.480 My mental right.

00:53:38.520 Yeah.

00:53:39.000 I can't say nothing

00:53:39.780 about standing on business,

00:53:40.840 because I'm floating on business.

00:53:42.780 I see what you're saying.

00:53:44.720 That'd be hard.

00:53:45.660 We gotta,

00:53:45.920 we gotta get,

00:53:46.960 gotta get us some space,

00:53:47.940 first album written in space.

00:53:49.480 That'd be tough.

00:53:50.880 I'm on some Soulja Boy stuff now.

00:53:52.660 First,

00:53:52.900 first rapper to write an album in space.

00:53:56.240 Yeah,

00:53:56.520 I wonder,

00:53:57.040 man,

00:53:57.360 big extraterrestrial.

00:54:00.440 You could meet an alien out there.

00:54:02.560 Do,

00:54:02.860 do a lot of,

00:54:03.480 you believe in aliens?

00:54:04.420 Do you believe in aliens,

00:54:05.660 my friend?

00:54:08.220 I don't know.

00:54:09.080 Because you gotta think,

00:54:11.200 man.

00:54:13.300 They got a lot of space out there,

00:54:15.180 man.

00:54:15.260 They do.

00:54:16.300 Do I believe that there is another,

00:54:17.820 like,

00:54:20.480 planet out there with life on it?

00:54:22.360 Of course,

00:54:22.920 I think so.

00:54:24.480 Aliens,

00:54:25.360 I think they might look just like us.

00:54:27.100 Yeah.

00:54:28.120 I think they might look just like us.

00:54:29.380 They might just speak different,

00:54:31.180 and,

00:54:33.060 yeah,

00:54:33.680 yeah.

00:54:34.600 I ain't gonna say they just look like,

00:54:36.700 you know,

00:54:37.940 I'm not gonna say that,

00:54:38.720 but.

00:54:38.980 Yeah,

00:54:39.160 like a Teletubby or something.

00:54:40.360 Yeah,

00:54:40.740 they might look like,

00:54:41.640 yeah,

00:54:41.920 I'm not gonna do that.

00:54:43.020 But they might look like the guy with the ears.

00:54:45.620 Yeah.

00:54:46.600 Him down there.

00:54:47.820 Down there,

00:54:48.440 right there.

00:54:49.000 They might look like that.

00:54:49.940 Oh, 1.00

00:54:50.360 damn. 1.00

00:54:50.760 He look like he cut his own hair. 1.00

00:54:57.300 That guy cuts his own hair,

00:54:59.600 man.

00:54:59.840 What if they don't have to cut their hair? 0.78

00:55:01.680 That's just how their hair naturally is.

00:55:03.220 They just snap,

00:55:04.040 and it falls off how they want it to be.

00:55:05.860 Wow.

00:55:06.440 That's just as alien as it'll get for me.

00:55:10.240 Dude,

00:55:10.560 we used to have a bus driver.

00:55:11.460 He'd cut everybody's hair.

00:55:12.420 He was the barber in our town,

00:55:13.640 so,

00:55:14.260 like once a month,

00:55:15.100 he'd pull the bus over.

00:55:16.560 Two dollars,

00:55:17.180 everybody get cut up.

00:55:18.400 Two dollars?

00:55:19.060 I don't know if I would want that hair cut.

00:55:20.340 I don't know if I would want that hair cut.

00:55:21.660 Oh,

00:55:21.820 it wasn't a great cut,

00:55:22.600 but it was the only cut they had,

00:55:23.840 man.

00:55:24.740 But it's like,

00:55:25.180 what can you get for two dollars?

00:55:26.540 I mean,

00:55:27.040 you get what you get.

00:55:27.980 He was just sitting in the bowl

00:55:29.160 on your head,

00:55:29.820 just cutting around it.

00:55:30.880 Well,

00:55:31.000 he could do it off a site.

00:55:32.340 He didn't need a,

00:55:33.620 you know,

00:55:34.120 a dishware or nothing,

00:55:35.360 but he could,

00:55:36.500 he did it.

00:55:39.100 He didn't have that much faith in himself,

00:55:40.780 though,

00:55:40.920 because two dollars,

00:55:42.840 that's,

00:55:43.340 you get two dollars,

00:55:44.340 that don't even get you no dip,

00:55:45.580 that don't get you nothing.

00:55:46.640 But this was,

00:55:47.380 man,

00:55:47.580 this was 25 years ago,

00:55:48.920 though,

00:55:49.020 22 years ago.

00:55:50.040 Oh,

00:55:50.080 okay,

00:55:50.260 okay.

00:55:50.640 So he had,

00:55:51.420 yeah,

00:55:51.580 he really,

00:55:52.220 I thought he did a pretty good job,

00:55:53.420 but he pulled that bus over,

00:55:54.620 bam,

00:55:55.000 everybody.

00:55:55.460 22 years?

00:55:56.680 How old are you?

00:55:57.680 I'm 44.

00:55:59.460 Really?

00:56:00.060 I'm an adult,

00:56:00.760 man. 0.87

00:56:00.880 I'm going to die soon. 0.98

00:56:01.500 I'm an adult.

00:56:04.220 Man,

00:56:04.680 you look good.

00:56:05.940 It's the end.

00:56:06.260 Thanks,

00:56:06.580 man.

00:56:06.680 I feel good,

00:56:07.400 but I'm just,

00:56:07.880 just getting older.

00:56:08.940 I got to get a wife soon. 0.97

00:56:10.500 Yeah.

00:56:12.200 You don't have to.

00:56:13.340 I know.

00:56:13.980 You don't have to.

00:56:15.220 You don't think?

00:56:16.360 Man,

00:56:16.720 it's like part of me feel like this,

00:56:19.720 I don't know,

00:56:20.640 man.

00:56:21.560 I got two women right now, 1.00

00:56:24.000 and I just feel like I probably would be better with none right now,

00:56:28.140 you know?

00:56:28.860 Yeah.

00:56:29.660 You know,

00:56:30.080 because it's just like as you get,

00:56:32.060 as it get better,

00:56:33.360 it get worse.

00:56:34.180 Yeah.

00:56:34.540 But there's something also admirable about a guy that's good,

00:56:39.180 that's able to make that work though too,

00:56:43.140 I think.

00:56:43.980 If I see that and the guy's able to make it work,

00:56:47.200 that he's able to take care of his wife or ex-wife,

00:56:50.600 I feel like there's almost something a little bit admirable about it.

00:56:53.580 I struggle every day.

00:56:54.880 Yeah.

00:56:55.560 I struggle every day.

00:56:56.620 They see it.

00:56:57.540 Every day I struggle.

00:56:58.960 But,

00:56:59.840 you know,

00:57:00.200 I feel like it's making me a better person,

00:57:03.160 because now I like,

00:57:04.600 I feel like the past me didn't know how to treat women.

00:57:06.960 Now that I got a daughter,

00:57:07.840 it made me want to treat women better,

00:57:09.180 and it will happen right when I have two women, 0.72

00:57:11.920 so now I'm treating them both like queens,

00:57:14.080 obviously,

00:57:14.620 but it gets to a point where,

00:57:16.760 you know,

00:57:17.360 that's another combo.

00:57:18.860 Look at everybody starting listening,

00:57:19.960 and she's not here.

00:57:21.000 Yeah,

00:57:21.180 that's another combo,

00:57:22.340 man.

00:57:22.440 That's something else,

00:57:23.560 bro.

00:57:23.800 Definitely take as much time as you need,

00:57:25.780 because once you get married,

00:57:28.200 it's a wrap.

00:57:28.920 You there.

00:57:29.640 It's a wrap.

00:57:30.460 My dad just told me he's going to propose to his girlfriend

00:57:34.140 on the Dallas date.

00:57:37.160 Wow.

00:57:37.520 On stage.

00:57:38.420 Uh-uh.

00:57:39.560 And what song are you going to play a special song for him?

00:57:41.740 If she says yes?

00:57:43.680 I mean,

00:57:44.240 he's the voice on Texas,

00:57:45.400 so I'll probably just play Texas.

00:57:48.340 First off,

00:57:49.140 will you marry me,

00:57:50.360 you know?

00:57:51.220 So,

00:57:52.340 yeah.

00:57:53.800 Dang.

00:57:54.380 If you got to meet some aliens,

00:57:55.660 what songs would you play for him,

00:57:56.760 you think?

00:57:57.620 Mm-hmm.

00:57:58.420 Yeah.

00:57:59.160 Mm-hmm.

00:58:00.600 I'm from Texas,

00:58:01.400 Texas,

00:58:03.160 and...

00:58:05.520 And what about some other artists?

00:58:07.860 The biggest,

00:58:08.540 the largest.

00:58:09.300 Yeah.

00:58:10.480 I would play that for them.

00:58:11.320 They would like that.

00:58:12.200 But if they pull up with a big-ass, 0.89

00:58:13.740 large-ass alien, 0.66

00:58:14.680 you're going to have some competition, 0.68

00:58:15.920 though.

00:58:16.120 He's going to like the song,

00:58:17.680 though.

00:58:17.900 He's going to like the song.

00:58:19.840 That's all I know.

00:58:21.240 But I definitely would play,

00:58:23.360 got to play some Lil Wayne.

00:58:26.000 Yeah.

00:58:26.320 I would play...

00:58:28.320 Yeah, dude.

00:58:29.940 You got to play some Lil Wayne.

00:58:31.000 We used to live not far from Juvenile,

00:58:32.420 and he chased a woman down the street one night

00:58:34.060 in our neighborhood.

00:58:34.900 Oh, Jesus.

00:58:37.420 We just going to say she did something wrong.

00:58:39.620 Oh, I'm assuming she did.

00:58:42.440 Yeah.

00:58:43.420 And we can probably take that out.

00:58:44.600 I don't want to hurt the guy's feelings.

00:58:47.460 I don't know if that's still pending, either.

00:58:51.920 What...

00:58:52.960 Yeah, I'm trying to think of what else, man.

00:58:55.440 You've had so much success this year.

00:58:57.000 Do you start to feel about different goals,

00:58:58.460 or you just stay...

00:58:59.060 You just kind of stay in the pocket you're in?

00:59:01.140 Like, what do you feel like...

00:59:02.300 Do you feel a responsibility

00:59:03.300 to keep up with your own success now?

00:59:05.340 Because that's interesting.

00:59:06.560 Once you start to have some success,

00:59:07.720 you almost set the bar for yourself

00:59:10.380 without even realizing it, right?

00:59:11.980 You're just trying to achieve some goals.

00:59:13.920 But then you set a bar, kind of.

00:59:15.720 I mean, like I said,

00:59:17.160 I didn't come in as wanting to be the best rapper ever.

00:59:20.420 I didn't even want to be a rapper.

00:59:21.620 It was just something...

00:59:22.140 I had to do something to take care of my child.

00:59:24.420 And so, like, it's just to the point where it's like,

00:59:26.920 as long as I'm taking care of my child, I'm good.

00:59:29.000 I still don't feel like...

00:59:30.220 I'm treating this as the NFL,

00:59:32.340 because like I said, I wanted to...

00:59:33.300 I thought I was going to be a football player.

00:59:34.840 The NFL stands for not for long.

00:59:36.580 Yeah.

00:59:36.700 So I gave myself five years,

00:59:38.880 and I tell them every day,

00:59:40.260 man, I can't wait to retire in this rap.

00:59:41.660 And they be like,

00:59:42.520 yep, you got like 10 more years.

00:59:43.680 And I be like, no, I got two.

00:59:45.100 And they be like, no.

00:59:46.400 I'm like, yeah, I only got two.

00:59:47.760 Because after that, I'm just...

00:59:49.280 I feel like movies, you know,

00:59:51.240 like I'm just setting myself up for other things

00:59:54.520 to bring more revenue to my family.

00:59:57.200 When I'm gone,

00:59:58.560 my kids are going to be so rich.

00:59:59.700 They ain't got to do nothing.

01:00:00.480 But it's going to like,

01:00:01.400 I'm going to have...

01:00:04.480 I'm going to have been done so much,

01:00:06.120 like as far as music, movies, commercials,

01:00:09.660 voiceovers, whatever,

01:00:11.200 you know what I'm saying,

01:00:11.720 that it's going to make them want to do something.

01:00:14.680 You know what I'm saying?

01:00:15.320 Man, my dad did all of this.

01:00:17.500 I got to go do this.

01:00:18.520 I got to do something to make my own name.

01:00:20.400 I want my kids to want their own name.

01:00:22.160 Yeah.

01:00:22.420 So it's like,

01:00:23.140 everything that I'm doing right now,

01:00:24.380 I'm basically doing it to make it hard on them.

01:00:26.400 I see what you're saying.

01:00:27.180 Because if they're as competitive,

01:00:28.960 if they have that competitive spirit...

01:00:30.720 And I don't know,

01:00:31.200 that's in me,

01:00:31.720 because it got passed down from my dad,

01:00:33.120 my brother.

01:00:34.040 It's all...

01:00:34.700 It's just...

01:00:35.260 I know.

01:00:35.660 I know that's...

01:00:36.320 That's going to be there.

01:00:37.100 Exactly.

01:00:37.660 Yeah.

01:00:38.120 And so when they nice and ready,

01:00:40.900 I just know they're going to put their best foot forward

01:00:42.800 and they're going to figure it out.

01:00:43.860 Amen.

01:00:44.280 But if they don't,

01:00:44.980 they got piles of cash to sit on if they don't.

01:00:47.220 You know what I'm saying?

01:00:48.480 What about a Christmas album, man?

01:00:50.100 Are you going to do something like that for everybody?

01:00:51.760 Man, I did do a Christmas song one time

01:00:53.760 and I feel like it went crazy.

01:00:54.860 I just dropped it at the wrong time.

01:00:56.820 When are you dropping it in the summer?

01:00:59.660 No, it was cold.

01:01:00.860 It was cold.

01:01:01.540 I actually dropped it right around Christmas.

01:01:02.960 It just was earlier in my career.

01:01:05.000 Oh, I see what you're saying.

01:01:05.740 So when I had less eyes, you know?

01:01:07.200 Yeah.

01:01:08.020 But I think it's over a million something right now

01:01:10.920 now that I've become who I've become.

01:01:12.940 Maybe it could pick up then this year.

01:01:14.640 Yeah.

01:01:15.640 Yeah, I think we got 1.5 a year ago.

01:01:18.700 And would you ever do a mall Santa

01:01:20.940 or something like that?

01:01:21.800 Like for children or for charity?

01:01:23.860 I would.

01:01:24.680 I would.

01:01:25.000 That's actually a great idea.

01:01:26.120 That'd be sick, bro.

01:01:27.320 That's a great idea.

01:01:29.540 Yeah, dude.

01:01:30.180 If you got to be a mall Santa,

01:01:31.600 that would be pretty good.

01:01:36.760 Yeah, I don't know if we can listen to it or not

01:01:38.360 because we'll have to,

01:01:39.880 it'll get claimed or whatever.

01:01:42.580 What's your show like, man?

01:01:43.800 What's the show like?

01:01:45.980 I might pull up tonight.

01:01:47.520 You should.

01:01:48.140 You should.

01:01:48.940 No, it's more like now.

01:01:51.380 At first, my shows would just like turn up.

01:01:54.040 A lot of dancing.

01:01:55.260 People shaking a towel and all that?

01:01:57.440 Shaking a towel.

01:01:58.380 There's always that one guy

01:01:59.300 that's just the towel guy or whatever.

01:02:01.580 Like on the rap stages,

01:02:02.680 there's that one dude and he just.

01:02:03.720 Oh, you're talking about like a hype man.

01:02:05.780 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:02:06.940 I guess Ro is my hype man.

01:02:09.240 It's good, though.

01:02:10.420 You got to have him.

01:02:11.680 No, but we're more like put together.

01:02:15.220 Like, I don't know what it is.

01:02:17.220 Me and Ro, we've been performing together since.

01:02:20.280 My first ever performance, he was on stage with me.

01:02:22.680 So, I don't know.

01:02:23.840 It's just the chemistry is there.

01:02:25.240 We know we wouldn't.

01:02:26.520 Everything that we done put together,

01:02:28.040 it just happened.

01:02:28.760 It wasn't nothing that we said.

01:02:30.360 Like we just, for the first time,

01:02:31.520 did rehearsals before this tour.

01:02:34.180 And we done did three tours before.

01:02:36.360 Like my tour, Kevin Gates' tour,

01:02:38.540 Key Glock tour,

01:02:39.560 we never rehearsed nothing.

01:02:40.540 It was just we went on stage

01:02:41.700 and it just happened.

01:02:42.580 Wow.

01:02:42.980 So, now we finally rehearsing it.

01:02:44.480 So, I just feel like they made it.

01:02:45.940 Like now he come out on stage

01:02:47.440 in a FedEx uniform.

01:02:48.900 You know what I'm saying?

01:02:49.340 Like it's crazy.

01:02:50.460 We just put more to it.

01:02:52.240 Yeah, yeah.

01:02:52.820 It's just, you should come.

01:02:54.380 Yeah, I'm going to come.

01:02:55.660 To see a big guy my size

01:02:57.720 move the way I move

01:02:58.980 and to,

01:02:59.840 you wouldn't even think

01:03:00.600 that it was an hour's sale.

01:03:01.640 I do hour's sets

01:03:02.540 and you wouldn't,

01:03:03.760 if I wasn't sweating so bad,

01:03:05.260 you wouldn't even know I was tired.

01:03:06.620 I don't know.

01:03:07.920 It's just kind of like

01:03:08.540 second nature tours down there.

01:03:09.780 We were football players.

01:03:11.520 So, we done always been

01:03:12.580 under the lights.

01:03:13.800 You know what I'm saying?

01:03:14.380 And so,

01:03:15.640 I don't know.

01:03:16.340 It just makes you want

01:03:18.020 to put on more of a show.

01:03:19.320 Do you have some ballads in there too?

01:03:21.040 Some love songs like that?

01:03:23.620 I guess I used to,

01:03:25.280 but now like,

01:03:26.360 so the Take Care tour

01:03:27.500 is basically,

01:03:29.300 I mean it's off of the album.

01:03:30.480 You know,

01:03:30.660 it's based off the album

01:03:31.500 and my album wasn't more of a,

01:03:33.840 it wasn't a turn up album.

01:03:35.200 It wasn't a for the women album.

01:03:38.080 It was just me speaking on me

01:03:40.060 in this industry,

01:03:41.520 you know,

01:03:41.720 speaking on me in the now.

01:03:43.660 And so like,

01:03:44.240 now I feel like my shows

01:03:45.200 are more like personal.

01:03:47.880 Like a lot of people

01:03:48.440 that come to my shows now,

01:03:49.620 they come in because

01:03:50.220 they felt the same way.

01:03:51.320 They feel the same way.

01:03:51.980 Exactly.

01:03:52.620 And so,

01:03:53.140 like I did it myself.

01:03:54.580 I've been doubted

01:03:55.420 and I still believed enough

01:03:56.780 in myself to get things.

01:03:57.860 Exactly.

01:03:58.300 So now I speak,

01:03:59.480 like now I perform with,

01:04:01.380 what's that,

01:04:01.940 what is the thing called

01:04:03.100 that you sit the mic on?

01:04:05.020 Mic stand.

01:04:05.680 Mic stand,

01:04:06.380 yeah,

01:04:06.560 my fault.

01:04:07.220 I had a brain for it,

01:04:08.400 my fault.

01:04:09.140 But yeah,

01:04:09.480 so now I come out,

01:04:10.320 mic stand,

01:04:11.040 like I'll show you my intro now

01:04:13.420 and you'll be like,

01:04:13.860 okay,

01:04:14.160 yeah,

01:04:14.280 that's crazy.

01:04:15.220 That's crazy.

01:04:15.960 If you can pull my Instagram up,

01:04:17.240 you actually can see it.

01:04:18.320 Yeah,

01:04:18.480 let's pull it up

01:04:18.980 and I'm going to come see tonight,

01:04:20.040 man.

01:04:20.260 Yeah,

01:04:20.440 make sure y'all follow me

01:04:21.480 at Big Extra Plug

01:04:22.380 as well.

01:04:25.000 Wow,

01:04:25.580 bro,

01:04:25.760 that's so exciting,

01:04:26.680 man.

01:04:27.340 It's really awesome

01:04:28.080 to see all your,

01:04:28.720 to see just you have

01:04:29.560 so many neat opportunities.

01:04:30.600 That first one right there,

01:04:31.740 there you go.

01:04:36.160 Shout out to my cameraman,

01:04:37.420 Trey Soles,

01:04:38.000 man.

01:04:44.300 Wow.

01:04:51.480 I should have rapped,

01:04:52.880 bro. 1.00

01:04:58.380 Damn, 1.00

01:04:58.880 I should have. 1.00

01:04:59.700 He said he should have rapped,

01:05:00.700 that's crazy.

01:05:01.340 I should have got in.

01:05:02.220 I had a little bit of a chance,

01:05:03.480 but I didn't.

01:05:06.360 Hey,

01:05:06.720 it happens.

01:05:07.480 It was,

01:05:08.700 if you ask me,

01:05:09.800 this is the easiest thing

01:05:11.240 I've ever done in my life.

01:05:12.880 No cap.

01:05:14.260 If it wasn't for all the extra stuff

01:05:16.000 that come with it,

01:05:17.120 this is the easiest money

01:05:19.060 I've ever made in my life.

01:05:20.980 Yeah.

01:05:21.480 Because I don't,

01:05:22.080 it's different when you got to

01:05:24.160 lie and make up stuff

01:05:26.280 because now that's a whole,

01:05:27.620 another process you got to do.

01:05:28.700 Oh, yeah.

01:05:29.320 But when you just talking about

01:05:30.620 what you've done,

01:05:32.040 what you've went through,

01:05:33.040 like,

01:05:33.680 that's just coming off,

01:05:34.560 that's coming off my head.

01:05:35.580 I don't got to think,

01:05:37.240 oh,

01:05:37.540 what would sound,

01:05:38.700 like,

01:05:39.160 you know what I'm saying?

01:05:39.560 I don't have to do that.

01:05:40.420 Well,

01:05:40.520 if you're staying true

01:05:41.240 to your own life,

01:05:41.840 then you don't have

01:05:42.380 to manipulate anything.

01:05:43.520 Exactly.

01:05:44.100 And it's just so much easier.

01:05:45.360 You can go in the studio,

01:05:46.220 you can,

01:05:46.840 you're basically writing a story

01:05:47.800 about yourself.

01:05:48.600 Yeah.

01:05:49.240 It's easy.

01:05:50.120 Man,

01:05:50.320 that's a great,

01:05:50.880 it's interesting.

01:05:52.420 I think people can understand

01:05:53.980 what you're talking about too.

01:05:55.160 They can,

01:05:56.600 you just communicate so well

01:05:58.420 that I think it just,

01:05:59.560 it reaches a lot of people.

01:06:00.780 Yeah.

01:06:01.100 You know?

01:06:02.520 X,

01:06:02.780 congrats on all the success,

01:06:04.100 man.

01:06:04.600 Appreciate you.

01:06:05.260 Yeah,

01:06:05.420 congrats on the tour.

01:06:06.780 I have them out now,

01:06:07.760 man.

01:06:07.980 I make sure I keep running

01:06:08.940 that take care of.

01:06:09.840 We got a,

01:06:11.580 we only three days in the tour.

01:06:14.060 We still got 29 more dates.

01:06:17.840 And a lot of these

01:06:18.400 are sold out by now.

01:06:19.380 Yeah,

01:06:19.480 a lot,

01:06:19.740 yes,

01:06:20.300 a lot of these are sold out

01:06:21.400 so y'all try to get in

01:06:22.520 where y'all can fit in.

01:06:24.320 Huh?

01:06:26.060 Oh,

01:06:26.940 definitely get those

01:06:28.000 meet and greets.

01:06:28.840 Oh,

01:06:28.980 do people,

01:06:29.500 yeah,

01:06:29.800 how do you guys,

01:06:30.280 do you guys do that

01:06:30.780 after the shows?

01:06:31.680 I try to do them

01:06:32.520 before the show

01:06:33.480 because after I'm all sweaty

01:06:35.740 and.

01:06:36.560 Yeah.

01:06:37.160 So I like to do it before

01:06:38.280 but I don't know,

01:06:40.280 I also feel like after

01:06:41.400 it's more like genuine,

01:06:43.780 you know what I'm saying?

01:06:44.680 Before I feel like it's,

01:06:46.100 me it's just kind of like

01:06:47.000 trying to get it like,

01:06:47.800 and this is coming from,

01:06:48.600 this is me being honest about me.

01:06:49.880 Yeah.

01:06:50.360 Before it's kind of just feel like

01:06:51.840 it's like I'm going through

01:06:52.740 the like oh sound check

01:06:54.340 and then meet and greet

01:06:55.080 and then,

01:06:55.700 but after the show it's like

01:06:57.060 it's just more genuine

01:06:58.420 because you tired

01:06:59.140 and it's just the real you now.

01:07:00.600 Right,

01:07:00.720 you've had the show already.

01:07:01.740 Exactly.

01:07:02.040 And they've gotten to see it too.

01:07:03.340 Exactly,

01:07:03.760 exactly.

01:07:04.320 So it's like whenever

01:07:04.980 they come up like,

01:07:06.120 I had a guy,

01:07:07.600 a grown man last night

01:07:09.020 walk up on me and tell me,

01:07:10.500 bro,

01:07:10.760 I love you.

01:07:11.660 Wow.

01:07:11.840 I appreciate you

01:07:12.660 because of what you got going.

01:07:15.000 You helped me.

01:07:15.720 I love you.

01:07:16.620 Tell me he loved me twice.

01:07:17.780 You know,

01:07:18.080 so it's like that's,

01:07:19.140 that's real love.

01:07:20.460 Before,

01:07:21.080 if we would have did

01:07:21.560 the meet and greet before,

01:07:22.420 he wouldn't have went

01:07:23.520 through the show.

01:07:24.280 He said I might love you.

01:07:25.300 Yeah,

01:07:25.600 yeah,

01:07:25.840 hey,

01:07:26.480 great job.

01:07:27.140 You know this is all the guy

01:07:28.140 but he listened to the show,

01:07:30.300 he listened to the lyrics.

01:07:31.820 Yeah,

01:07:32.240 after that,

01:07:32.720 the energy's been there.

01:07:33.840 There's been that connection.

01:07:35.160 I think a lot of people,

01:07:36.180 you don't think about it

01:07:37.020 from their perspective though.

01:07:38.080 They're just excited

01:07:38.860 to get to see you.

01:07:40.080 Some people,

01:07:40.620 it's like you want to hear

01:07:41.220 their music

01:07:41.700 but also I think

01:07:42.400 you just want to be

01:07:42.820 in the same building as them

01:07:43.960 and I think that's some

01:07:44.920 of the energy

01:07:45.340 that you have I think.

01:07:46.380 For sure.

01:07:47.000 Some people,

01:07:47.560 it's just their songs.

01:07:48.440 Yeah,

01:07:48.560 I want to go listen

01:07:49.140 for their songs.

01:07:50.320 I don't know

01:07:50.900 if I really have a sense

01:07:53.260 of them as a person

01:07:54.160 but to me,

01:07:55.800 it feels like,

01:07:56.440 and it's just my thoughts,

01:07:58.060 that there's something else

01:07:59.800 where people are like,

01:08:00.520 oh,

01:08:00.960 I also want to be

01:08:01.680 in the same room as him.

01:08:02.840 I just,

01:08:03.400 you know,

01:08:03.840 I feel like it's.

01:08:05.400 And it's different

01:08:06.340 when you got like,

01:08:07.220 when you're actual,

01:08:08.360 like when you're genuine,

01:08:09.160 like you're humble.

01:08:10.240 It's,

01:08:10.680 you know,

01:08:10.940 it's just you.

01:08:11.540 It's actually you.

01:08:12.640 It's not no.

01:08:14.800 Right.

01:08:15.220 You know what I'm saying?

01:08:15.940 When you're just

01:08:16.320 taking a picture

01:08:16.860 and getting them out the way

01:08:17.680 and know you enjoyed the show.

01:08:20.120 How did you like the show?

01:08:20.940 What was your favorite

01:08:21.340 part of the show?

01:08:22.420 I appreciate you coming out,

01:08:23.440 man.

01:08:24.140 People love that.

01:08:24.960 That make them feel like

01:08:26.080 they're a person

01:08:28.740 and you're a person.

01:08:29.660 You know what I'm saying?

01:08:30.120 Yeah.

01:08:30.240 When you're taking the picture

01:08:31.600 and moving them on out the way

01:08:32.900 or not even,

01:08:34.060 that just make it seem

01:08:34.840 like you're a robot.

01:08:35.900 Like the machine

01:08:37.900 is running you.

01:08:39.060 Oh,

01:08:39.340 yeah.

01:08:40.160 And these days,

01:08:40.900 some of the best artists

01:08:42.160 is just everything

01:08:42.800 that's outside of the machine.

01:08:44.020 The machine's dirty, man.

01:08:45.360 That's why I feel like

01:08:46.120 everything that we're doing

01:08:46.980 right now is

01:08:48.040 You're doing it yourself?

01:08:49.000 Historic,

01:08:49.480 because it's all us.

01:08:50.700 We're doing it

01:08:51.140 completely independent.

01:08:52.260 Who's your team?

01:08:53.500 I mean,

01:08:53.960 I know a lot of them

01:08:54.480 right here,

01:08:54.960 but just.

01:08:55.320 Okay,

01:08:55.780 so I got a distribution

01:08:56.580 deal through United Masters.

01:08:57.940 Okay.

01:08:58.400 So they don't do nothing

01:08:59.780 but distribute my music.

01:09:02.360 I mean,

01:09:02.660 they gave me

01:09:03.300 a small marketing budget.

01:09:04.880 You know what I'm saying?

01:09:05.360 Nothing too major.

01:09:06.200 Like a major label,

01:09:08.220 they pay for everything.

01:09:09.240 You know what I'm saying?

01:09:09.420 Like this tour,

01:09:10.060 I paid for out of my pocket.

01:09:11.420 Wow.

01:09:11.960 The bus,

01:09:12.520 $200,000 on a bus.

01:09:14.300 I know,

01:09:14.720 dude, 0.77

01:09:14.880 that bus is damn expensive.

01:09:16.140 I'll take the old bus. 0.66

01:09:17.400 Wait,

01:09:17.900 yeah,

01:09:18.740 that's.

01:09:18.940 Greyhound was $60,

01:09:20.680 to get to Rochester.

01:09:24.100 That's smart.

01:09:25.880 Or FedEx,

01:09:26.680 you mail yourself overnight.

01:09:30.200 You might,

01:09:30.600 you might.

01:09:32.160 Not different.

01:09:33.000 I mean,

01:09:33.160 I don't know,

01:09:33.760 but I just feel like,

01:09:35.340 I don't know,

01:09:35.600 I'm kind of glad

01:09:36.100 we did the bus though

01:09:36.840 because you know,

01:09:37.320 it's just.

01:09:37.780 No,

01:09:37.940 you have to do it.

01:09:38.840 Yeah.

01:09:39.180 You have to.

01:09:39.560 It's hard to start

01:09:40.060 to spend that money

01:09:40.760 on yourself.

01:09:41.340 Like we,

01:09:41.940 tour with comedy,

01:09:42.520 we just got back

01:09:43.080 from Montana

01:09:43.620 or some different places,

01:09:44.380 but it's like,

01:09:45.320 you just,

01:09:45.660 because at a certain point,

01:09:46.340 you're investing this

01:09:47.020 in your own,

01:09:47.740 you have to be comfortable.

01:09:49.180 Yeah.

01:09:49.460 You can't show up like,

01:09:50.520 you're like rattled,

01:09:51.500 you know,

01:09:51.820 it's like,

01:09:52.460 because you have to put

01:09:53.020 the show on.

01:09:53.880 No,

01:09:54.100 you're right,

01:09:54.420 you're right.

01:09:55.120 You're right.

01:09:56.040 Not trying to preach at you.

01:09:57.040 I just,

01:09:57.380 I tried to nickel and dime. 0.98

01:09:58.680 We fucking was on motorbikes 0.99

01:10:00.020 one time. 1.00

01:10:00.800 We was on all kind of shit 0.99

01:10:01.960 trying to save money, 1.00

01:10:02.880 man.

01:10:03.580 We had a camper. 1.00

01:10:04.600 We had all kind of shit. 1.00

01:10:05.880 Nah, 1.00

01:10:06.240 for sure.

01:10:07.120 Now,

01:10:07.460 yeah,

01:10:07.620 I mean,

01:10:08.520 this was cheaper

01:10:09.020 than flying everybody

01:10:09.820 everywhere,

01:10:10.480 so.

01:10:11.180 Yeah.

01:10:12.020 And we just,

01:10:12.600 I just,

01:10:13.400 I went through

01:10:14.140 the Sprinter experience

01:10:15.040 and I just couldn't

01:10:15.920 do that again. 0.95

01:10:16.720 It's hard.

01:10:17.300 Amen.

01:10:18.500 Yeah,

01:10:18.680 we did all that van,

01:10:19.940 Sprinter.

01:10:20.500 Yeah,

01:10:20.680 yeah.

01:10:21.140 And then finally,

01:10:21.720 you just have to make sure

01:10:22.400 you're comfortable enough

01:10:23.240 to show up.

01:10:24.120 Yeah.

01:10:24.520 Wow.

01:10:25.220 Well,

01:10:25.400 what a journey,

01:10:25.900 Big X.

01:10:26.200 Thanks for just letting us

01:10:27.060 enjoy your music,

01:10:27.840 man.

01:10:28.040 I love,

01:10:29.040 yeah,

01:10:29.400 just how humble you are,

01:10:30.320 man,

01:10:30.520 and just,

01:10:31.520 yeah,

01:10:32.460 people to people,

01:10:33.560 man.

01:10:33.760 That's all,

01:10:34.180 that's all we all

01:10:34.840 are really doing,

01:10:36.060 you know.

01:10:36.280 That's true.

01:10:37.040 Take care,

01:10:38.100 tour,

01:10:38.920 and you can get the album,

01:10:40.320 you get,

01:10:40.420 you still have,

01:10:41.120 if it's sold out,

01:10:41.880 there may still be

01:10:42.420 meet and greet tickets
