00:14:15.880Yeah, so this was the video that I came across today.
00:14:19.320The situation in Jasper is precarious.
00:14:21.900After a wall of flames entered the town, the mayor calling it our worst nightmare.
00:14:27.320Alberta's premier visibly upset during an afternoon press conference.
00:14:31.700For many generations, the town of Jasper and the parks surrounding it
00:14:37.540have been a source of pride with some of the most beautiful scenery in the entire
00:14:49.300in the world. Our grandparents visited to experience the majesty of this place
00:14:59.280With its mountains and lakes and meadows.
00:15:09.960Premier talking about the significant structural loss to lodges and historic properties like the iconic Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.
00:15:19.080Firefighters are focused also on protecting infrastructure, hospitals, the treatment plant, the Trans Mountain Pipeline.
00:15:25.240The call went out for help. The province and the federal government responding with a resounding yes.
00:15:31.300CTV's Jeremy Thompson is in Hinton, about an hour away from the flames. Jeremy?
00:15:36.700Sandy, this is a devastating day for one of Canada's most iconic tourist destinations.
00:15:42.660The images coming out of the town site today are difficult to look at.
00:15:46.420Much of the main areas of Jasper are burned to the ground.
00:15:49.360The province says 30 to 50 percent of the town is gone, homes, hotels, businesses, churches.
00:15:56.940The situation reached a critical point yesterday afternoon when the larger of two wildfires was pushed towards Jasper from the south by strong winds,
00:16:04.940causing flames up to 100 meters high, traveling five kilometers in half an hour.
00:16:10.000All first responders, except for firefighters and some incident commanders,
00:16:14.420were evacuated as the fire approached the town, reaching Jasper just before 7 p.m.
00:16:19.680We were thinking, get the family safe, collect as many important things as we could, and head to safety.
00:16:29.060And when weather conditions didn't cooperate in the last few, 24 hours or so,
00:16:36.320we have all been in shock and watching in horror.
00:16:42.760We're told every effort was made to protect the town, but they were largely unsuccessful.
00:16:47.640Helicopters dropping water on the fire was ineffective.
00:16:50.620It was too dangerous for water bombers to fly.
00:16:53.300And the bulldozers that were planning to build a fire break along the southern edge of the town
00:16:57.240were unable to complete that work before being evacuated.
00:17:00.66025,000 people have been evacuated and thankfully no injuries have been reported at this time.
00:17:06.600Meanwhile, the firefight continues as crews from 34 communities have come to Jasper to help out.
00:17:12.600Focus has now shifted from wildfire fighting to protecting as many structures and critical infrastructure as possible.
00:42:04.620Several years ago, a group of shady consultants gave fake admission letters to mostly Punjabi students who came here in good faith to study and be part of the Canadian family.
00:42:17.780They came here, they followed the law, they studied, many of them completed their programs, and it was the incompetent Liberal government that had accepted the letters in the first place.
00:42:25.860Now this government is kicking them out of the country, setting them home to poverty and bankruptcy for their families.
00:42:32.340Why won't this government reverse its incompetence, show a little bit of common sense and compassion,
00:42:37.580and let those who came here in good faith and are contributing to our economy halt the deportation and allow them to apply for permanent residency?0.99
01:06:58.800it's all pre-plan, it's all Freemasonry.
01:07:00.240And, yeah, I did actually watch something on that.
01:07:02.700And the interesting thing is the numerical value.
01:07:05.320And if you take the word water tower, type it into a cipher, the numerical value that comes out in the numbers in the Dramatria is the exact same numbers as water tower, which is weird.
01:07:23.600And I don't really follow Dramatria too much.
01:07:26.200I just kind of lightly looked at it here and there.
01:07:27.920and when I noticed that I was just like0.91
01:57:23.620But one thing I did want to say about the Rage, Road Rage Terror Tour events is just really great to connect with some new people and to reconnect with some old friends there down the Edmonton area and Calgary area.
01:57:36.860And, you know, there is, you know, not an exact number, but there's about 200 people or so at each of the events.
01:57:44.120And I know myself in my own personal small groups, there's been a lot of people that weren't able to go because of work or other reasons.
01:57:52.120And it was just interesting to note that there's just so many more of us in this beautiful province than, you know, than I even realized.
01:57:59.540And by extension, more in this country.
01:58:02.100And, you know, you DAGs, you're just awesome.
01:58:05.420If you don't know, guys, anyone watching what DAGLON is, it's a community of people that care for each other, that care for their families, that care for this province, and that care for this country.
