00:06:07.000 Thank you.
00:06:23.000 Hey guys, welcome to another huge episode of Triggered.
00:06:26.000 Hope everyone's hanging in there this week.
00:06:28.000 It's been a rough one.
00:06:30.000 Let me start with something you don't hear a lot on shows like this.
00:06:34.000 Our side got smoked on Tuesday.
00:06:35.000 There's no question about that.
00:06:37.000 I'm not here to go through a litany of excuses or to point fingers in every direction, but there's definitely some things we need to talk about.
00:06:45.000 We lost the House.
00:06:47.000 We lost the Senate.
00:06:48.000 Texas just elected a Democrat senator, a Democrat governor, a Democrat attorney general.
00:06:54.000 And really, other than here in Florida, Republicans got demolished up and down the ballot.
00:07:00.000 So the question really becomes why?
00:07:02.000 And ultimately, what comes next?
00:07:05.000 I'm not going to pretend I have every single answer.
00:07:07.000 I certainly don't, but I'll do my best to give you my view and what it means for the future.
00:07:14.000 So, guys, before we get into it, make sure you're liking, sharing, subscribing so you never miss one of these major episodes.
00:07:20.000 If you miss the show here on Rumble, go over to Apple, go over Spotify Podcasts, catch it there.

00:07:36.000 And of course, don't forget about our brave sponsors for having the guts to support this program.
00:07:42.000 First, check out all the latest predictions on Polymarket.
00:07:46.000 So if you follow politics, you know everyone's got an opinion.
00:07:49.000 But on Polymarket, you actually get real odds on what's likely to happen.
00:07:54.000 Polymarket is a prediction market where people trade on real events, elections, debates, policy moves, and it doesn't stop at politics.
00:08:03.000 There are markets on the economies.
00:08:05.000 Tech, sports, pop culture, and so much more.
00:08:08.000 It's all live, it's transparent, and it gives you a real time indicator of what people really think is going to happen.
00:08:16.000 So go give it a look at polymarket.com, check it out, and let me know what you think.
00:08:21.000 Be sure to check out the Birch Gold Group.
00:08:23.000 We are weeks away from what's been dubbed as the Rio Reset, the greatest threat to the US dollar's global dominance in over 80 years.
00:08:32.000 On July 6th, BRICS nations are expected to unveil their plan to circumvent the US dollar.
00:08:38.000 So, how can you protect your IRA or 401k for the future?
00:08:42.000 Do it with gold from the Birch Gold Group and diversify your portfolio.
00:08:47.000 Remember, guys, it's about educating yourself and learning more.
00:08:50.000 You can do that with a free info kit on tax sheltered gold and IRAs by texting Don Jr., D O N J R, to the number 989898.
00:09:02.000 Arm yourself with all the info you need.
00:09:05.000 Make sure, just text Don Jr., D O N J R, text it to the number 989898 and claim your free info kit.
00:09:13.000 Information kit on gold.
00:09:17.000 Now, let's get into it.
00:09:20.000 And to start, I do want to look a little bit at history because, as much as Tuesday was a disappointment and pretty shocking, midterms don't have a history of going all that well for the president's party, the party that's in power.
00:09:36.000 Heck, Reagan won the White House back in 1980, Republicans got crushed in 82, and then he won 49 states in 1984.
00:09:45.000 Clinton in 94, Democrats lose over 50 seats in the House to Newt Gingrich's GOP.
00:09:50.000 Clinton still went on to win the presidency in 96.
00:09:54.000 Obama in 2010, Democrats lose over 60 seats in the House during the Tea Party wave.
00:10:00.000 Obama, of course, then won re election in 2012 and lost the Senate in 2014.
00:10:07.000 I don't tell you this to make you think that everything's okay.
00:10:11.000 The results on Tuesday were not okay.
00:10:14.000 It's definitely worth looking at patterns and the pendulum that is ultimately American politics.
00:10:21.000 But what we need to ask is so, what does all of this mean?
00:10:26.000 One election cycle isn't the end of the world, although this poses a very large threat to it, certainly our way of living.
00:10:34.000 But it should be a much needed wake up call.
00:10:37.000 It should mean we rethink how Republicans approach campaigns, primaries, et cetera, how voters feel.
00:10:45.000 Ultimately, when they go to the polls, is what matters.
00:10:48.000 Now, there's no doubt that this new crop of Democrats are, frankly, by far the most extreme we've ever seen.
00:10:58.000 We've shown you the tape for months and months, and maybe it made a difference with some of you, maybe it didn't, maybe that didn't matter relative to other things.
00:11:07.000 So, why did so many independents and even previous Trump voters decide to vote for them anyway?
00:11:15.000 Well, for one, remember, the Trump coalition is made up of millions of disaffected Democrats, right?
00:11:21.000 They're former Democrats, people who never voted before or voted pretty reliably Democrat that felt left behind.
00:11:30.000 Those aren't voters that are just loyal to an R or a D that's beside someone's name.
00:11:36.000 These are people that think for themselves.
00:11:39.000 The wins of this administration have been substantial with record low poverty rate, record low violent crime.
00:11:47.000 A secure border, those are all big deals.
00:11:50.000 But there are ultimately downstream effects of things like the Iran war that pushed voters in a different direction.
00:11:57.000 Perhaps they felt them a little bit more than they did safety.
00:12:01.000 Totally understandable.
00:12:03.000 And according to a chart going around on X, the approval number graph was basically identical to the price of gas.
00:12:10.000 Okay.
00:12:12.000 I've seen a few talking heads, guys like Mark Thiessen out there trying to claim that the Iran war had nothing to do with Republicans losing, right?
00:12:19.000 There's no downside to the Iran war.
00:12:23.000 Disgusting, actually.
00:12:25.000 And, you know, whether you think it was the right decision or not, the Iran war is largely what sifted voter sentiment and caused this wave, right?
00:12:33.000 It jacked up the price of gas.
00:12:35.000 That's the thing that people feel most immediately in their pockets, and it changed their minds.
00:12:40.000 We also campaigned on not getting into these things, and we don't have to debate whether it was the right thing or the wrong thing.
00:12:46.000 I don't have any of the details, I'm not privy to any of that in terms of the intelligence.
00:12:52.000 It was definitely something after Afghanistan and Iraq that we probably didn't want to be into, even though I don't believe this is going to be one of those forever wars.
00:13:00.000 And I bring this up mainly just to say that we're only going to rebuild if we're actually honest about what happened.
00:13:08.000 And it's frankly vital that the Republican Party understand that voters aren't just going to give them the benefit of the doubt, especially in a midterm when my father himself isn't on the ballot.
00:13:20.000 JD Vance, our vice president, wrote yesterday, and I quote, undoubtedly, There were places we could have done better on turnout.
00:13:28.000 But the main problem is not turnout.
00:13:30.000 The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 26.
00:13:38.000 Honestly, no excuses here.
00:13:40.000 A lot of our voters showed up, but we lost a lot of them too.
00:13:44.000 JD continued, I quote In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting.
00:13:49.000 Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty, right?
00:13:56.000 Anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.
00:13:59.000 Okay, think about that.
00:14:01.000 Our own voters just handed us the list.
00:14:03.000 Okay, amnesty was not on it.
00:14:06.000 It's not one of the things that people want, and yet they're going to come around and push for it.
00:14:10.000 Nobody asked for it.
00:14:11.000 It's ultimately what destroyed Reagan and was the biggest blight on his presidency.
00:14:17.000 It's not going to be the first thing any normal Republican wants, or any of them, frankly, would want, but it is going to be the first thing that the consultant class ultimately prescribes.
00:14:29.000 And you know how I know?
00:14:31.000 You know how I know that's coming?
00:14:32.000 Because we've seen this movie before, guys.
00:14:36.000 Remember in 2012, Romney loses, and the Republican establishment goes off and writes its famous autopsy the autopsy of why he lost.
00:14:45.000 About 100 pages.
00:14:47.000 All of the smartest guys in Washington, air quotes.
00:14:51.000 And what's the big cure they came back with?
00:14:54.000 Comprehensive immigration reform.
00:14:57.000 That was it.
00:14:58.000 That was the plan to save the party.
00:14:59.000 Not that he could have actually won the debate had he actually pushed forward and said what needed to be said.
00:15:04.000 Wasn't going to do that.
00:15:05.000 Didn't want to be called mean.
00:15:07.000 Four years later, my father comes down at Escalator, runs on the exact opposite, and wins.
00:15:13.000 Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, states.
00:15:18.000 You know, a Republican hasn't carried since the 80s.
00:15:22.000 So when the same crowd shows up next week or the week after with the same prescription, just remember their track record and tell them to get lost.
00:15:32.000 Because here's what's really what the people who left us actually said.
00:15:37.000 This is from JD's post as well.
00:15:39.000 A pollster he trusts went to the Trump voters who walked away and asked them a simple question What would bring you back?
00:15:47.000 According to JD, there were four answers.
00:15:51.000 End the war, get the cost of living down, put America first, and rethink our relationship with Israel.
00:15:58.000 That's the list.
00:15:59.000 That's it.
00:16:00.000 That's what people were asked, and those are the biggest responses they got.
00:16:04.000 It seems to check out with everything I've heard from people on the ground over the last few months.
00:16:09.000 Do you see amnesty on there?
00:16:12.000 I don't.
00:16:13.000 I don't think anyone does, and it's certainly not something that ever came up.
00:16:17.000 Now, was every voter thrilled with how enforcement has been handled as it relates to immigration?
00:16:23.000 No.
00:16:23.000 And I'm not going to sit here and pretend otherwise, right?
00:16:26.000 The exit polls say 57% thought it went too far.
00:16:31.000 But here's the thing we really need to understand these voters don't owe us anything, right?
00:16:36.000 They can make up their own minds.
00:16:38.000 A lot of them were Democrats 10 years ago, a lot of them never voted before 2016.
00:16:43.000 They didn't sign up for a party, they signed up for the Trump and the MAGA movement.
00:16:48.000 And now, what's interesting is when you look at the ballot measures like protecting girls' sports, Even states like Washington passed them overwhelmingly, right?
00:17:02.000 These are things that people actually wanted.
00:17:04.000 So a newly passed initiative officially bans transgender athletes from girls' sports and schools, and Colorado is poised to do the same.
00:17:12.000 Madeline Rivera joins us with the details in other major races where results are still pending.
00:17:17.000 Maddie.
00:17:18.000 Hey, what's interesting is that these are traditionally blue states, guys, yet voters in Washington passed Proposition 638, banning trans athletes from competing in girls' sports.
00:17:27.000 The initiative receiving 56 percent of the vote, with about 68 percent of votes counted.
00:17:32.000 The measure also requires female athletes to provide a statement from their health care provider verifying their biological sex.
00:17:40.000 Meantime, the passing of I 638 in the Evergreen State comes as Colorado looks poised to approve a proposition requiring student athletes to participate on teams that match their biological sex.
00:17:52.000 Proposition 134 is leading the state 52 to 47 percent, with about 86 percent of the votes in.
00:18:00.000 It's not like voters went hard left when it came to some of the big culture issues.
00:18:07.000 And we saw the same thing with voter ID.
00:18:10.000 Ohio put voter ID onto the state constitution with about two thirds of the vote.
00:18:15.000 They actually wanted these things.
00:18:16.000 That checks out with everything we've been saying for a long time.
00:18:22.000 Nevada passed voter ID by almost 25 points.
00:18:26.000 Kansas passed a similar measure by double digits as well.
00:18:30.000 In total, eight states passed voter ID or citizenship measures on Tuesday.
00:18:36.000 Eight.
00:18:37.000 In the middle of a blue wave, in this case, a blue tsunami.
00:18:42.000 Does that sound like a country that buys into the left's talking points about racist voter ID and disenfranchising people because they can't get ID and this minority is not smart enough to get that kind of ID?
00:18:56.000 It doesn't.
00:18:57.000 No, it sounds like people just believed in common sense measures.
00:19:00.000 Which sort of brings me to the one big state that actually held Florida, my home.
00:19:08.000 And I want to spend a few minutes here because if you're asking what comes next, a lot of the answer is sitting right here in the Sunshine State.
00:19:16.000 The campaign was not talking points.
00:19:18.000 We are going to make Florida more affordable for the people of our state.
00:19:21.000 We're going to make sure that our kids can achieve their Florida dream here in Florida.
00:19:26.000 It was a tough, tough fought victory last night, but we were able to win and be decisive.
00:19:31.000 And now we get to the job of making sure that our state works for everybody.
00:19:35.000 On the worst night for Republicans in 20 years, Florida Republicans ran the table.
00:19:41.000 Byron Donald, governor.
00:19:43.000 Ashley Moody, back to the United States Senate.
00:19:45.000 Attorney General James Uthmeyer won.
00:19:50.000 And in all five statewide races, five Republican wins and 20 Republican members of Congress won their races as well.
00:19:59.000 Texas is getting a Democrat governor.
00:20:03.000 Ohio, Georgia, same thing.
00:20:06.000 Of the 10 biggest states in America, exactly one is going to have a Republican governor.
00:20:10.000 Come January.
00:20:12.000 And I'm sitting in it right now.
00:20:13.000 The show a little bit earlier, the Democrats are going to overreach because I'm telling you, as I traveled Florida, which is pretty indicative of where the mood of the country was last night, voters are not interested in impeachments and subpoenas and all that kind of stuff of the president and his team.
00:20:28.000 They want gas prices down, they want grocery prices down.
00:20:30.000 That's what the American people are looking for.
00:20:33.000 All right, Governor elect.
00:20:35.000 And in Florida, it was more of a red wall than a wave.
00:20:39.000 And the wall actually held.
00:20:42.000 The question every Republican in America should be asking this morning is why did it hold here and not hold in Texas?
00:20:51.000 I'll give you a few reasons.
00:20:52.000 Number one, Florida built it before they needed it.
00:20:56.000 Republicans here have about a million and a half more registered voters than Democrats.
00:21:02.000 A million and a half.
00:21:03.000 That's a lot.
00:21:04.000 That doesn't happen in October.
00:21:06.000 That's years of people knocking on doors, signing up voters when there was no election to win.
00:21:13.000 When nobody was actually watching.
00:21:17.000 And it was the whole ballgame.
00:21:19.000 More Republicans voted than Democrats in the state.
00:21:23.000 Even if you lost a couple, that million and a half gave you a big buffer.
00:21:26.000 Number two, this is the big one, okay?
00:21:30.000 Florida gave people something to vote for on cost of living.
00:21:35.000 Amendment three, a property tax cut.
00:21:39.000 The homestead exemption goes up to $150,000 next year and $250,000 the year after that.
00:21:45.000 And it passed.
00:21:46.000 It needed 60% to pass.
00:21:49.000 It got 62%.
00:21:50.000 So, in a year when voters everywhere were furious about what everything costs, Florida Republicans didn't just tell people they cared, they put real money back in their pockets on the ballot where you could actually vote for it.
00:22:04.000 More than a million people picked up and moved to this state in recent times for open schools, open businesses, a government that left them alone, and Byron ran on making Florida freer and more prosperous than ever before.
00:22:21.000 So, guys, that's the model.
00:22:23.000 It's doing the work, it's building the infrastructure, putting something in people's pockets they can actually feel, and run somebody who understands the missions, understands what's at stake, and connects with the voters themselves.
00:22:38.000 Florida is the only big state where the wave hit and the wall was still standing in the morning.
00:22:46.000 Now, let's talk about the other side for a minute.
00:22:49.000 Come January, they've got the House, they've got the Senate, Hakeem Jeffries is running for Speaker, Chuck Schumer says he's going to be Majority Leader, and for the first time in a while, Democrats control Congress.
00:23:02.000 And look at who's walking in the door with them.
00:23:06.000 Michigan just sent Abdullah Sayed to the Senate.
00:23:09.000 Although he said today he's not sure about Schumer leading the Senate, it's going to be interesting to see how that battle actually plays out.
00:23:18.000 And are Democrats capable of actually governing or working on affordability?
00:23:22.000 It doesn't seem like they've ever cared about it before.
00:23:24.000 They'll run on those sound bites.
00:23:28.000 Will it just be Trump derangement syndrome and hoaxes and fishing expeditions every single day for the next two years?
00:23:35.000 I imagine it's going to be more of the latter.
00:23:38.000 If what America gets is two years of endless theater and hearings, It's going to backfire big time in 28, and that's our opportunity.
00:23:45.000 That's the pendulum.
00:23:46.000 That's what I was talking about at the top in 1982, 94, 2010.
00:23:52.000 The party that wins a big midterm and forgets why it actually won gets the bill two years later.
00:24:00.000 And we're going to be right here rolling the tape every single week because, again, I think we know what they're probably going to do.
00:24:07.000 They've been saying it for a while, they're not pretending.
00:24:11.000 So, what comes next?
00:24:13.000 Honestly, we've got to stop acting like these voters belong to us no matter what.
00:24:18.000 They showed up for my father because he looked them in the eye and told them he'd fight for them.
00:24:22.000 And then he did.
00:24:24.000 Every Republican who wants those votes is going to have to earn them the same way.
00:24:28.000 He's not going to be on the ticket again.
00:24:31.000 We need people who can generate that same kind of momentum and then deliver.
00:24:36.000 Reagan got crushed in 82 and won 49 states two years later.
00:24:39.000 That wasn't because the calendar flipped.
00:24:42.000 It was because by 84, people could feel it in their own lives.
00:24:47.000 So, that's the choice in front of the party, guys.
00:24:50.000 We can spend the next two years making excuses, pointing fingers, or we can spend them earning it back.
00:24:57.000 I know which one I'm doing.
00:24:59.000 I hope you're thinking the same way.
00:25:01.000 So, guys, thanks so much for tuning in and taking the time today.
00:25:05.000 I know it's a rough week for probably a lot of you guys.
00:25:08.000 I know it is for me.
00:25:09.000 We all work very hard to try to make these things happen, but we're going to have to work harder.
00:25:13.000 We're going to have to be more consistent.

00:25:43.000 See you in a couple days.
