00:06:55.000 And it's an incredible story.

00:06:58.000 She'll literally be doing this interview from hiding as the regime of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela is trying to throw her in jail or even take her life because she is their top political opponent.

00:07:13.000 And she won bigly, to use the proper vernacular, bigly in the last election. 0.59

00:08:44.000 What do you have to lose?

00:08:45.000 Educate yourself.

00:08:46.000 Check it out.

00:08:47.000 So guys, to give you a little background, last year on July 28th, 2024, Maria's campaign crushed socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro by 40 points.

00:08:59.000 Okay, that's not a tight one.

00:09:01.000 That's a drubbing.

00:09:02.000 Okay, 40 points.

00:09:04.000 But he's refused to give up power.

00:09:07.000 She did something very unique.

00:09:09.000 She played by the rules of an unfair system. 1.00

00:09:12.000 Sound familiar?

00:09:13.000 Yes, it does.

00:09:15.000 And her political party defeated the Maduro regime in a landslide.

00:09:20.000 The regime has seized and destroyed her family's businesses through lawfare.

00:09:25.000 They've banned her image and likeness from even appearing anywhere in Venezuela.

00:09:32.000 She's been censored.

00:09:34.000 She was barely allowed to campaign in public. 0.98

00:09:38.000 They actually kicked her off the ballot. 1.00

00:09:41.000 Again, sounds sort of familiar, perhaps a more extreme version of what we've experienced here in the United States, but that's how close all of these things are.

00:09:50.000 That's how close Western civilization is to falling to these dictatorial regimes.

00:09:57.000 Pay attention.

00:09:58.000 They put her on a no-fly list, and she had to do the entire presidential campaign by car, boat, and even bicycle. 0.94

00:10:08.000 Okay?

00:10:09.000 When she traveled by car, if her campaign motorcade stopped at a gas station, Maduro's government would then punish the gas station.

00:10:17.000 If she stayed at a hotel, they would shut down the hotel. 0.95

00:10:21.000 It was ruthless and it was merciless.

00:10:24.000 And yet, she still won, despite all of that.

00:10:28.000 The people saw through it all.

00:10:31.000 Lawfare, censorship, punishing supporters.

00:10:35.000 Again, guys, does all of that sound Familiar?

00:10:39.000 Sound vaguely familiar?

00:10:41.000 Sort of feels like maybe what we've been going through for the last nine years?

00:10:45.000 She overwhelmingly won the 2023 primaries.

00:10:49.000 It was an open primary in Venezuela, and she got 92% of the vote.

00:10:55.000 92%, okay?

00:10:56.000 We're used to winning by basis points.

00:10:58.000 Like, 50.01 is the difference.

00:11:00.000 She won by 92%.

00:11:02.000 Then Maduro banned her from running in 2024, so she picked a replacement.

00:11:07.000 And then Maduro banned her replacement.

00:11:10.000 So she picked another replacement. 0.90

00:11:12.000 A retired ambassador.

00:11:14.000 Eventually Maduro stopped banning replacements because they were running out of people in the country.

00:11:19.000 And then the election happened.

00:11:21.000 They won big.

00:11:23.000 And she got the vote tallies to prove it. 0.72

00:11:26.000 Thanks to an army of volunteers and people who were willing to risk it to make sure that the truth was heard.

00:11:32.000 She got 160 Starlink antennas from Elon Musk's company.

00:11:37.000 To outsmart Maduro's internet blackouts, which were conveniently used to prevent people from voting.

00:11:42.000 Blackouts that would have definitely created fraud. 0.95

00:11:47.000 And the fraud would begin there and continue on in perpetuity.

00:11:52.000 Fueled by the support of the Venezuelan people, along with leaders like Javier Millie in Argentina, Bukele in El Salvador, Bologna in Italy, and by my own father, who we all know loves a fighter, Remember,

00:12:13.000 Biden was killing pipeline projects here in America while he was taking oil from Maduro in Venezuela, a regime the U.S. had not even previously recognized.

00:12:23.000 My father is ending that nonsense once and for all.

00:12:28.000 And today we'll learn new details on how Maduro literally emptied his prisons to send the evil Trendelaragua Gang members to America, who took the lives of incredible Americans like Lake and Riley and so many others. 0.99

00:12:43.000 Biden welcomed these illegal alien criminals, and now my father is deporting them back. 1.00

00:12:50.000 Remember how the media told us it was all fake news?

00:12:53.000 How Trendelaragua wasn't actually here?

00:12:56.000 Not in Colorado, not in Georgia, not in New York.

00:13:00.000 You know, they only took over a couple buildings, J.D. Vance, remember that one?

00:13:04.000 It's only a couple of buildings that they took over, threw people out of their homes.

00:13:08.000 I mean, it's only a couple of buildings, guys.

00:13:10.000 Well, my father was right, as always.

00:13:13.000 And Maria will tell us how he was even more right than we all realized.

00:13:19.000 And just over a month ago, my father posted on Truth Social in her support after she was detained by Maduro's henchmen.

00:13:26.000 My father wrote, and I quote, Shortly after that tweet, she was released because they know that my father means business.

00:13:48.000 And even more interesting is that Maria has emerged as one of the biggest advocates for cryptocurrencies.

00:13:55.000 And we'll explain how decentralized finance can free oppressed people, combat corrupt institutions, and why she wants a Bitcoin reserve for Venezuela.

00:14:07.000 And the Trump White House made it clear this week that America stands in opposition to this brutal regime.

00:14:14.000 Check this out.

00:14:16.000 Thanks, Caroline.

00:14:17.000 I've got two for you.

00:14:18.000 One on foreign policy.

00:14:19.000 Over the weekend, the president's special missions envoy, Rick Grinnell, was talking about Venezuela, and he said that the president isn't someone who wants regime change.

00:14:28.000 Other administration officials have made clear that they don't see Maduro as the rightful leader.

00:14:33.000 What is this administration's So we're gonna cover a lot, you're going to learn a lot, and it's going to be pretty powerful.

00:14:52.000 So with that, guys, the undisputed leader of the Venezuelan opposition, she is literally doing this interview in hiding because the Maduro regime...

00:15:03.000 Is trying to put her in prison or even worse?

00:15:07.000 Maria Corina Machado, thank you so much for joining us.

00:15:11.000 I really appreciate it.

00:15:12.000 Thank you very much.

00:15:14.000 It's a pleasure.

00:15:15.000 So, I mean, this is pretty historic.

00:15:17.000 This is certainly the first time I've interviewed someone actually in hiding because the Maduro regime wants you in prison because your party beat him in the polls.

00:15:28.000 Frankly, so badly, I've never seen it, right?

00:15:30.000 I'm used to seeing elections that are won, you know, half a point here, half a point there.

00:15:35.000 I mean, an absolute drubbing.

00:15:37.000 They did everything they could to stop you.

00:15:41.000 You still won.

00:15:42.000 Strangely enough, almost no one reports about that in the United States, I imagine, because they're on the same side of the dictatorial regimes.

00:15:49.000 But what is happening in Venezuela right now?

00:15:54.000 Well, what's happening in Venezuela is that we are living under a terrorist tyranny.

00:16:01.000 Venezuela has been hijacked by a gang that is connected to drug cartels and to the enemies of the United States, such as Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, China, and so on.

00:16:18.000 Maduro has taken over.

00:16:20.000 By force, even though, as you said, it was a landslide victory.

00:16:25.000 We humiliated the regime under their own extreme unfair conditions.

00:16:32.000 And he took out all the facades.

00:16:35.000 So the reality is we are facing a criminal system.

00:16:39.000 This is not a political crisis.

00:16:41.000 This has to be addressed as a law enforcement dynamic.

00:16:48.000 But we have a huge opportunity to transform Venezuela in front of us because the regime is weaker than ever done.

00:16:57.000 Yeah, it seems like it.

00:16:59.000 You know, I always say for us here in America, obviously what you're going through is an even more extreme version.

00:17:03.000 But, you know, you were on a no-fly list.

00:17:05.000 They did that to Tulsi Gabbard, who's now in the cabinet.

00:17:08.000 Obviously, the lawfare, they've done that to myself, my father, my family, and so many Americans for so long. 0.68

00:17:14.000 It got so ridiculous that it seems...

00:17:16.000 Finally, the American people understood what was happening.

00:17:20.000 They were able to see through the propaganda that I'm sure was done through regime media, which I think is frankly quite similar here in America.

00:17:28.000 And eventually, the people were able to take over.

00:17:32.000 What do you think can happen in Venezuela?

00:17:35.000 Is that control slipping?

00:17:38.000 The people are obviously understanding it based on the vote tallies.

00:17:42.000 But when they don't get what they clearly voted for, how long can the regime hang on for?

00:17:48.000 Well, the only thing the regime has left is arms and repression and lies, and certainly money that flows from criminal activities such as drug trafficking, gold smuggling, laundering.

00:18:05.000 Millions and millions of dollars and some resources that come from very obscure oil licenses.

00:18:12.000 And this is resources that are not used for schools or hospitals.

00:18:16.000 This is used for repression and for a huge propaganda campaign and structure such as the one we mentioned.

00:18:24.000 But Maduro has lost total support.

00:18:28.000 I mean, if the elections had been, you know...

00:18:31.000 Simply slightest competitive, it would have ended in 2010, not 2030. But the regime has also lost the support of the military.

00:18:41.000 And this is very important.

00:18:43.000 They lost in every single polling station where the military voted.

00:18:48.000 And we were able to get and collect the tally sheets and prove our victory.

00:18:53.000 Because we have the support of the military.

00:18:55.000 Also, Maduro is totally internationally isolated.

00:18:58.000 So the only thing he's got left is repression and the resources that are coming from abroad.

00:19:05.000 Yeah, I mean, Maduro's regime has clearly turned Venezuela into a cesspool of socialism, communism, a dictatorship.

00:19:13.000 Venezuela has been, you know, wrecked by oppression and dictatorship.

00:19:18.000 What is it like living in a country like that?

00:19:21.000 And given what you've seen happen to this once great nation of Venezuela, the people who I know who escaped before the insanity, speak so highly of the beauty of the country, the resources, everything.

00:19:34.000 Why should Americans care right now?

00:19:38.000 Well, first of all, Venezuela should be one of the richest.

00:19:42.000 Wealthiest countries in the world because of everything we have, not only oil and gas and natural resources and great lands and great talented people, but we got socialism, corrupt Chavista socialism, and it destroyed everything, and it turned Venezuela into the criminal hub of the Americas, a safe heaven for all the enemies of Western democracies and the United States. 0.96

00:20:11.000 And from here, Venezuela represents a true threat for safety and prosperity of the United States. 1.00

00:20:20.000 So that's why I think it is very important for American people to understand what's at stake here, not only for Venezuelans, certainly, but for all of you.

00:20:29.000 And I will mention only three main reasons why.

00:20:34.000 One is the relationship between Maduro and the Iranian regime.

00:20:38.000 I mean, this has been...

00:20:39.000 For decades now, Chavez and Maduro opened the doors of Venezuela to Latin America.

00:20:46.000 They had given the Iranians and Syrians agents over 10,000 Venezuelan passports.

00:20:53.000 Many of them have gone into Islamic terrorists.

00:20:58.000 Secondly, they have turned Venezuela into the main channels of drugs in the region now. 0.92

00:21:05.000 People estimate, experts estimate, that there could be even 300 tons of drugs a year.

00:21:13.000 Imagine what that means.

00:21:14.000 And Venezuela has turned into a traffic zone, now into a producer. 1.00

00:21:20.000 And the fact is that the cartels, they're not fighting, you know, the government as in Mexico.

00:21:27.000 The cartels are in power.

00:21:30.000 And top officials are involved and are the chiefs of El Cartel de los Soles.

00:21:37.000 And as you know very well, El Cartel de los Soles is linked as well with the Tren de Aragua, the very sadly known gang that has expanded throughout the region and is currently killing and committing crimes in the United States.

00:21:56.000 But we all know that the head of the Tren de Aragua is Maduro.

00:22:02.000 The regime created, promoted, and found the Tren de Aragua.

00:22:08.000 And finally, I have to say migration.

00:22:12.000 Maduro has intentionally promoted migration.

00:22:17.000 Over a quarter of our population, good people, working people, professionals, talented people.

00:22:22.000 I've left our country because there's no future, because there's persecution, because there's no freedom.

00:22:29.000 And uses Maduro migration as a weapon to destabilize the region.

00:22:34.000 This, everything can be solved.

00:22:37.000 Everything will be solved once we have a democratic government, a serious government that puts order in Venezuela.

00:22:44.000 Well, this week, the White House explicitly said that my father stands in opposition to the Maduro regime.

00:22:50.000 Maduro and Biden are the ones who flooded our nation with Tendulagua, as you mentioned, I mean, committing crimes, taking lives, and very open about it.

00:23:00.000 I mean, we know they let in, think about it, 13,000 murderers into our nation, 16,000 rapists.

00:23:07.000 That's Biden government statistics.

00:23:10.000 600,000 criminals, you know, as part of the Biden-created invasion.

00:23:16.000 It's wild.

00:23:17.000 But can you put into perspective...

00:23:19.000 You know, the evils here.

00:23:21.000 Did Maduro really empty the prisons?

00:23:23.000 Is that just a talking point?

00:23:26.000 And, you know, what's his endgame with all of this?

00:23:30.000 Oh, his endgame is to damage and destabilize the United States, period.

00:23:35.000 That's what they want.

00:23:36.000 He's allied to the enemies of America. 0.57

00:23:40.000 And that's something that is well known, and he publicized it.

00:23:44.000 And certainly he did that.

00:23:45.000 And he's using these criminal networks, Trenderagua and others, as a way to destabilize the region.

00:23:54.000 Trenderagua is already executing operations in seven countries in our continent.

00:24:02.000 Trenderagua was used in 2017 to attack innocent protesters here in Venezuela.

00:24:09.000 And as I say, they are now using El Trenderagua to get also other kind of resources and income for the regime.

00:24:18.000 So, and you probably saw the face of Islao Cabello when he received some of the members of El Trenderagua.

00:24:25.000 They were received as heroes.

00:24:27.000 When we receive, and when we are in the government in Venezuela, we will receive every single individual that has committed a crime.

00:24:37.000 And they will face justice and punishment because these are transnational organizations that need to be dismantled in a coordinated manner.

00:24:47.000 That's precisely what we're going to do.

00:24:49.000 I mean, I love your passion, your will to fight.

00:24:54.000 It's interesting.

00:24:54.000 I see, you know, so many Venezuelans.

00:24:57.000 I live in Florida, so obviously.

00:24:59.000 A lot of the Venezuelan migrants, the people who did so legally and or were actually escaping persecution, not escaping jail sentences for being criminal drug gangs, were such proponents of what my father was trying to do for America.

00:25:16.000 And I think it's because they truly understand what the Democrat Party was bringing to America.

00:25:21.000 And it's what they left Venezuela for.

00:25:25.000 It was the...

00:25:26.000 Bad ideas that destroyed a once great nation.

00:25:30.000 So it's amazing to sort of see that support.

00:25:32.000 Is there things that the Venezuelan sort of expats that are now in America can do to help their own country, help you achieve what you're trying to do?

00:25:43.000 Because it seems like such a noble cause.

00:25:46.000 Oh, absolutely.

00:25:47.000 And let me tell you something.

00:25:48.000 Most of the Venezuelans abroad, as you say, and I know you have many Venezuelan friends, are good people, hardworking, that are investing and creating wealth and employment in the U.S. and around the world.

00:26:01.000 But they want to come back.

00:26:03.000 They want to come back to rebuild a nation that is going to be the strongest ally in the region.

00:26:10.000 For the United States and democracies in the Western Hemisphere.

00:26:14.000 And certainly they're doing a lot.

00:26:16.000 They're raising their voices and telling the world that there's no biggest opportunity from every perspective than a transition to democracy in Venezuela, that it's not true that Maduro is stronger.

00:26:29.000 As I said before, the only thing he's got left is repression because he knows the country hates him.

00:26:36.000 He's totally isolated internationally.

00:26:40.000 Because the world knows how he has violated human rights, committed crimes against humanity, and it is a criminal gang, an anarcho-regime in power, but they are fragile.

00:26:51.000 So this is the moment to act and act together.

00:26:54.000 It is our responsibility, Don, and we assume it to free Venezuela.

00:27:00.000 And we are executing our plan, but certainly we need a strong ally in the United States that will benefit as much.

00:27:11.000 Yeah, I mean, I know, you know, under Biden, we saw a reversal of the sanctions against Venezuela that my father put on in the first term.

00:27:21.000 My father, you know, many say, literally had him on the ropes.

00:27:24.000 It was the same with Iran. 0.81

00:27:26.000 They're basically running out of energy.

00:27:28.000 They're running out of money.

00:27:29.000 They have nowhere else to go.

00:27:30.000 They're about to collapse.

00:27:32.000 We sanctioned so many of the drug kingpins, corrupt businessmen.

00:27:38.000 But Biden let him off the hook.

00:27:40.000 He opened up the spigot of the American money.

00:27:42.000 We shut down American pipelines and started importing from Venezuela.

00:27:47.000 It really seems that Biden and really Democrat weak leadership allowed Maduro the time and money to cozy up to China and Iran, making it harder for us to do that later.

00:27:59.000 So Maduro is clinging on to power.

00:28:02.000 But what is different now?

00:28:05.000 What is different that can be done to stop the corruption and the evil?

00:28:10.000 You mentioned sort of the military seems to be at least, you know, not simply working for the regime anymore.

00:28:16.000 You know, how do you effectuate that kind of change, hopefully in a peaceful way?

00:28:21.000 Absolutely, in a peaceful way.

00:28:23.000 And I would say, first of all, everything's different.

00:28:26.000 I'll get into that.

00:28:27.000 But I've mentioned the past, because even though everything you said is true, there are still people.

00:28:33.000 That say, oh, maximum pressure didn't work.

00:28:36.000 What do you mean didn't work?

00:28:37.000 Yeah, there wasn't maximum pressure.

00:28:39.000 We were almost there.

00:28:41.000 Yeah, we had it.

00:28:42.000 We were almost there.

00:28:43.000 Absolutely.

00:28:45.000 And the fact was that Maduro was, you know, willing to accept a negotiation because he knew it was over.

00:28:52.000 But then they gave him oxygen.

00:28:55.000 They gave him...

00:28:56.000 Time.

00:28:57.000 He had a chance to recover.

00:28:59.000 And then he unleashed this huge repression wave against Venezuelan people when we defeated him by a landslide.

00:29:09.000 And now there are still some people that are saying, oh, well, perhaps we can get an arrangement with a criminal gang, a drug cartel.

00:29:18.000 So what's different now?

00:29:20.000 Everything's different.

00:29:22.000 First of all, we won.

00:29:24.000 And the world knows it.

00:29:26.000 And everybody knows Maduro is absolutely abandoned and cornered by the people.

00:29:32.000 Secondly, what we mentioned about the military.

00:29:35.000 The military are perhaps the sector of our population that are worst persecuted.

00:29:41.000 I mean, they are spied with Chinese technology and by Cuban agents.

00:29:49.000 There are hundreds of them have been imprisoned or disappeared.

00:29:54.000 Thousands that have been persecuted because the regime knows that all the structure, middle to low, is against him, as well as the police.

00:30:03.000 Third, as I mentioned also, Maduro International is absolutely isolated.

00:30:09.000 No one is going to lend him a dollar.

00:30:13.000 And fourth, and this is very important, there is a very strong new administration that had the correct vision.

00:30:20.000 On how to address a criminal structure.

00:30:23.000 This is not a political actor.

00:30:26.000 This is a criminal structure that should be addressed from a law enforcement approach.

00:30:32.000 And that is going to work.

00:30:35.000 And finally, I would say the Venezuelan people choose serious, strong leadership and we will not let go.

00:30:44.000 We will never surrender.

00:30:46.000 We have a plan to get rid of Maduro.

00:30:49.000 We're executing it, and we will win this battle.

00:30:53.000 So, Maria, what do you say to skeptics in America who say, you know, this is someone else's mess?

00:31:00.000 You know, why should the U.S. taxpayer care?

00:31:03.000 You know, God knows, you know, I've said that about Ukraine, where we're putting a quarter of a trillion dollars into, you know, a place no one cared about prior to three years ago.

00:31:12.000 You know, will U.S. Taxpayers have to foot the bill to fix this mess instead of you handling it yourselves.

00:31:19.000 You know, we don't want another endless war to break out.

00:31:23.000 But, you know, obviously this is a little different than Ukraine because this is right on our doorstep.

00:31:27.000 I mean, you know, quite essentially.

00:31:29.000 But Americans are tired of that.

00:31:32.000 You know, what is your message?

00:31:34.000 Is this different or would this turn into sort of another, you know, America-funded civil war?

00:31:39.000 No, that has nothing to do with it.

00:31:42.000 And first of all, I understand.

00:31:44.000 Of course I do.

00:31:45.000 The American people are tired of wars and sending your troops abroad and spending huge amounts of money very far away.

00:31:55.000 I understand that perfectly.

00:31:56.000 But you mentioned it.

00:31:57.000 Venezuela and Caracas is three hours away to Florida, to Miami.

00:32:03.000 Exactly the same flight.

00:32:05.000 In terms of hours from D.C. to Miami, so we're very close.

00:32:09.000 And the enemies of America are here, very close, in your backyard.

00:32:13.000 And they are here for a reason.

00:32:16.000 And having this regime here makes the United States be an unsafe place on the country.

00:32:24.000 Moving ahead in a transition, orderly, peaceful transition to democracy can be done, and this is good for American safety, prosperity, and freedom.

00:32:35.000 And, of course, this is our responsibility.

00:32:38.000 We are doing our part.

00:32:40.000 I mean, this is our country.

00:32:42.000 There are more than 2,000 people in jail, people killed, persecuted, in hiding, such as I am right now, because we are willing to do what it takes.

00:32:51.000 But this is a great opportunity, and it can be done.

00:32:56.000 And people will talk about...

00:32:57.000 You know, civil wars, they know nothing.

00:33:00.000 I mean, they don't understand what's going on in Venezuela.

00:33:04.000 We do not have religious differences.

00:33:07.000 We do not have racial or political or regional or social difference.

00:33:14.000 I mean, this is a society united.

00:33:17.000 90% of Venezuelan society want to get rid, not only of Maduro, of socialism.

00:33:25.000 I mean, when I started talking about fighting socialism 20 years ago, people said it was crazy.

00:33:31.000 Because that was the only thing we had known in Venezuela.

00:33:34.000 Now, 90% of the people understand that only with open markets, free markets, open societies, is that you can prosper so that you can have your children home.

00:33:47.000 I mean, we all have our children spread around the world.

00:33:50.000 We want them back home and build a great nation that's going to be the biggest deal, the biggest economic opportunity also for American business and companies.

00:34:03.000 It sounds, I mean, absolutely amazing.

00:34:06.000 And you're right, I guess 92% is different.

00:34:08.000 When you have those sort of internal wars, it's usually 50-50 and each side's taking a stand, you know, 90-something percent.

00:34:15.000 That's a pretty solid mandate.

00:34:17.000 That's about as solid as it gets in all of politics.

00:34:19.000 But, Maria, you've been completely censored in your own country, something that so many Americans, certainly on my side of the political spectrum, have had to deal with over here.

00:34:29.000 You a little bit more.

00:34:30.000 Maduro's gone after your family, your businesses.

00:34:33.000 They kicked you off ballots.

00:34:36.000 Platforms like Rumble that we're on right now are restricted in Venezuela, so it's hard to actually break through the narrative of the state-sponsored media.

00:34:44.000 Do you see parallels to what my father had to endure in the last election to what they're doing to you?

00:34:52.000 Oh, certainly.

00:34:53.000 And I see it in many places around the world.

00:34:56.000 But believe me, I've never seen what is going on and happened here.

00:35:02.000 You know?

00:35:02.000 Yeah, no, that's a whole different world.

00:35:04.000 As bad as ours was, I complain a lot only because I was a target of it myself, but no, I mean, what they're doing to you is different.

00:35:12.000 If you go to fill up your car at a gas station and they shut down the gas station for supporting you, you know, that's a little problem.

00:35:19.000 Though, you know, they did want to put us in jail for 750 years, so not ideal.

00:35:23.000 Yeah.

00:35:24.000 We get it.

00:35:25.000 It's never perfect, but you've had it worse.

00:35:28.000 You know, we need to sit down for a couple hours to tell you everything we face and what we have learned.

00:35:35.000 But we learned something.

00:35:37.000 You can win an election without money.

00:35:42.000 You can win an election without media.

00:35:47.000 You know how many interviews I had on national TV or radio during my primary campaign and then the presidential campaign?

00:35:56.000 Zero.

00:35:58.000 Not one.

00:35:59.000 Not one.

00:36:02.000 Journalists were threatened.

00:36:04.000 If they get me to interview me, they would close the media outlet.

00:36:09.000 They would persecute them.

00:36:11.000 And as you said, I was banned from taking flags, local flags.

00:36:15.000 I had to go in with my car.

00:36:17.000 If I stopped to buy food in a restaurant, they went and closed the restaurants.

00:36:24.000 For even tiny, humble ones for two or three months.

00:36:30.000 You know, there's one case, I have to tell you this, in Corozopando, a very humble place we stopped in the eastern part of Venezuela.

00:36:39.000 And when we left, the equivalent of the IRS, you know, the tax agency came and closed it.

00:36:47.000 So people started calling.

00:36:50.000 And through the social network of the small restaurant to buy empanadas for them.

00:36:57.000 And actually, in a week, they sold the equivalent of the whole year, of the whole year, because of what they had done to them.

00:37:06.000 So people reacted towards censorship, towards persecution, and we overcame every single obstacle.

00:37:16.000 But why did they do that?

00:37:18.000 Oh, because Maduro simply was afraid of me.

00:37:21.000 He feared me.

00:37:22.000 He knew I would beat him.

00:37:24.000 And actually, we did it, even with somebody else, a great ambassador, who accepted to take my place.

00:37:32.000 So this was huge.

00:37:34.000 So how do you break through that, right?

00:37:36.000 The censorship, I saw it when they did it, when they threw my father off Twitter back in 2020. You know, I dealt with it with the shadow banning and the attacks.

00:37:45.000 And, you know, for me...

00:37:47.000 It worked because I already had a large platform.

00:37:49.000 I was able to get on Rumble and build quickly because I had a following.

00:37:53.000 So I said, hey, before they throw me off here, follow me here.

00:37:55.000 Follow me on Telegram.

00:37:56.000 Hit me in these other places so you can get it.

00:37:59.000 How did you break through all of that?

00:38:02.000 Because that would seem to be an almost insurmountable obstacle.

00:38:06.000 Even if they covered my father, it was always negative, but he at least got coverage.

00:38:10.000 And then people can decide for themselves, even through the noise, even through the bias.

00:38:16.000 They still got some of it.

00:38:18.000 How did you break through that you can have such a decisive victory without any actual media in a nation, especially where so much of social itself is also censored?

00:38:27.000 So it's not like you had that many other avenues.

00:38:30.000 How did you get that message out there?

00:38:31.000 How did the people band together in such a formidable way?

00:38:35.000 I would say organization, organization.

00:38:38.000 People realized what this meant.

00:38:42.000 This is a new era.

00:38:44.000 That has already started in Venezuela.

00:38:46.000 I mean, this is a social and cultural movement against socialism, against corruption, against evil, against violence, against families divided, against poverty.

00:38:59.000 People want to live well, with dignity, with their own work.

00:39:04.000 And so we realized that we had to create networks.

00:39:07.000 And of course, we had social media.

00:39:10.000 I mean, even though the regime went.

00:39:17.000 I was surprised because I reached these super tiny towns, you know, 15 hours away that I had to go driving.

00:39:30.000 And I said, well, nobody's going to show up.

00:39:32.000 They don't know I'm coming.

00:39:34.000 And suddenly you see hundreds and thousands of people even threatened.

00:39:40.000 They told them that they did come.

00:39:42.000 To join me, they would lose their jobs.

00:39:44.000 They would lose their handouts and things like that.

00:39:47.000 And people went courageously.

00:39:50.000 So that's why I tell you, Dawn, this has no way back.

00:39:54.000 I mean, this is an existential fight for freedom.

00:39:57.000 And you are seeing this happening around the world.

00:40:00.000 And people speak with the truth, with pride, even though, yes, we are facing horrible repression as we speak.

00:40:10.000 But we're going to move forward because we know we have true allies now that understand the value that Venezuela represents for this new security approach of the Americas, of our continent.

00:40:26.000 Well, it also seems you have really strong allies and leaders like Mille in Argentina, Bukele in El Salvador, Maloney in Italy, and even Elon Musk.

00:40:36.000 What could have free...

00:40:38.000 And prosperous Venezuela mean for reshaping all of the Americas.

00:40:42.000 You know, we're talking about that bolstering up American security against adversaries like China and Iran.

00:40:48.000 You know, how does that look to you?

00:40:51.000 What would your vision be if you were in charge?

00:40:54.000 Oh, wow.

00:40:55.000 This is the great part.

00:40:58.000 And you mentioned really good friends.

00:41:01.000 Javier Mille is a super good friend.

00:41:03.000 Jordan Abeloni has been so supportive to us.

00:41:06.000 And imagine, you know what we're going to do?

00:41:09.000 We're going to turn Venezuela from the criminal hub of the Americas into the energy hub of the Americas. 0.89

00:41:19.000 That's what we're talking about.

00:41:21.000 You know, forget about Saudi Arabia.

00:41:24.000 Forget about the Saudis. 1.00

00:41:25.000 I mean, we have more oil.

00:41:28.000 I mean, infinite potential.

00:41:30.000 And we're going to open markets.

00:41:33.000 We're going to kick off the government.

00:41:36.000 From the oil sector, we are going to privatize.

00:41:40.000 All our industries, Venezuela, has huge resources.

00:41:44.000 Oil, gas, minerals, land, technology.

00:41:47.000 And as you said before, we have a strategic...

00:41:51.000 You know, ours from the United States.

00:41:54.000 So we're going to do this right.

00:41:55.000 We know what we have to do.

00:41:56.000 We know the failure to solution has been, and we're going to put order.

00:42:01.000 We're going to have a rule of law.

00:42:03.000 It's going to be clear, transparent.

00:42:05.000 It's going to be so attractive that no other country in the world is going to be competitive to what we're going to design.

00:42:12.000 And American companies are in, you know, super strategic position to invest.

00:42:19.000 I know that some people have come to President Trump and say, well, can we make some business with Maduro?

00:42:27.000 And I say, really?

00:42:28.000 So you want to be a partner, partnership with the cartel, the drug cartel?

00:42:35.000 Is that what you are proposing?

00:42:36.000 But also, to do what?

00:42:38.000 Very little money.

00:42:41.000 Little money.

00:42:42.000 This is crumbs.

00:42:44.000 Venezuela should be producing right now.

00:42:46.000 Over six million barrels a day.

00:42:48.000 It's barely a million.

00:42:49.000 And who's going to invest in a country in which you have a criminal in power that at any moment can change the rules or rob you?

00:42:57.000 So what I'm talking is about huge opportunities done.

00:43:03.000 And this is open in a win-win relationship for Venezuelan people and also for the American people.

00:43:11.000 Well, we just have some big breaking news, actually, right now.

00:43:14.000 My team just sent it to me, literally just now.

00:43:18.000 So we're recording this about two hours in advance of the show.

00:43:20.000 Obviously, you're in hiding.

00:43:21.000 We're trying to keep things separate from that.

00:43:23.000 So by the time this airs at 6, people may already know that.

00:43:28.000 But literally just now, my father killed the Chevron license, literally happening right now.

00:43:35.000 I'm assuming that's oil and gas.

00:43:38.000 So Chevron, who's an American company.

00:43:40.000 Was able to have the license to do this, supporting a dictatorial, illegal regime.

00:43:46.000 Apparently, that's just been revoked.

00:43:49.000 Your reaction?

00:43:51.000 Wow, I'm just learning about it.

00:43:53.000 Talking about understanding.

00:43:55.000 That's a big one.

00:43:57.000 Talking about understanding what ought to be done.

00:44:02.000 Maduro has to understand that President Trump is serious about behaving well.

00:44:10.000 And that the criminals will be held accountable.

00:44:14.000 This country, Venezuela, is going to be the brightest opportunity for investment of American companies, of good people that are going to make a lot of money, but it's going to turn also very positive, of course, for the Venezuelan people.

00:44:32.000 What you just mentioned, it's approved for me.

00:44:36.000 That President Trump is on the side of the Venezuelan people, of democracy and prosperity for the U.S. and for Venezuela as well.

00:44:46.000 Yeah, it feels like, you know, oil is maybe the only thing they have left under this, you know, regime, perhaps that and the illegal drug trade.

00:44:55.000 And Maduro's cronies are sitting on it.

00:44:57.000 They're profiteering from it.

00:44:58.000 They're skimming from it.

00:44:59.000 You know, hopefully this is something that that pulls that card away from him, that he can't keep wreaking this havoc.

00:45:08.000 I guess we're going to find out if he's really weak or if he's actually strong once he loses that sort of lifeline, so to speak.

00:45:15.000 Believe me, Maduro is terrified.

00:45:21.000 With Donald Trump.

00:45:23.000 Terrified.

00:45:25.000 And the regime is as well.

00:45:28.000 They thought.

00:45:31.000 That the world will turn the page on all their crimes, their liaisons with Iran, with Hezbollah, with Hamas, with the drug cartels, all the crimes that they have committed, the threats to U.S. security. 0.81

00:45:46.000 They thought people would turn the page back, and that's simply not going to happen.

00:45:54.000 As I mentioned...

00:45:56.000 We've never had a bigger opportunity than we have right now, biggest opportunity, to move ahead and make them understand that their only option is a negotiated, orderly, peaceful transition.

00:46:11.000 And this, what you just told me, is exactly the path ahead.

00:46:16.000 Well, we actually have my father's official statement on the revocation of the Chevron license, and it says, and I quote, We are hereby reversing the concessions that crooked Joe Biden gave to Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela on the oil transaction agreement dated November 26, 2022. So this kills the Chevron license, correct?

00:46:37.000 I mean, you think this is the opportunity that perhaps you need to get him to the table to make sure people understand that America actually means business and that, let's just say, those concessions are no longer going to allow them just to continue this nonsense.

00:46:52.000 This is a huge step and this sends a clear, firm message that Maduro is in huge trouble and President Trump is with the Venezuelan people, with security, freedom.

00:47:09.000 Prosperity and peace for the whole region.

00:47:12.000 This is huge.

00:47:13.000 It feels well strange to learn about the decision of the president.

00:47:19.000 I thought this was going to be breaking news within breaking news.

00:47:22.000 No, no, no.

00:47:23.000 And read by his son.

00:47:24.000 I mean, this is quite strange.

00:47:27.000 For the record, I had no idea that was going on because somebody will try to arrest me again here for the seeming coincidence.

00:47:35.000 I have my doubts.

00:47:37.000 I don't know if you're...

00:47:38.000 This is quite a coincidence.

00:47:41.000 But it's a good coincidence and it gives me the opportunity to send my gratitude to President Trump through you.

00:47:51.000 This is the correct thing to do.

00:47:53.000 It's the right thing to do.

00:47:55.000 It's the right moment to do.

00:47:57.000 And I'm sure that this will have consequences in the very short term.

00:48:03.000 And I'm sure Venezuelan people right now feel secure that we are not alone.

00:48:08.000 Maria, you know, I know you're also a huge advocate for cryptocurrency.

00:48:14.000 You know, obviously something, you know, we're big advocates on because we've seen sort of the, you know, the warped nature of the typical financial structure.

00:48:25.000 I think the democratization of finance is a great idea.

00:48:29.000 So important for so many people around the world, especially in circumstances like yours under a dictatorial regime.

00:48:35.000 I can certainly see the benefits.

00:48:37.000 Can you talk about that, how it could free so many people from this oppression?

00:48:43.000 What are your thoughts?

00:48:45.000 Well, I've been into Bitcoin for quite a time, and I think it is the platform through which a lot of people, as you say, can overcome.

00:48:58.000 The kind of persecution the regime has done, what it did in the media, in the financial sector.

00:49:06.000 And I think in the case of Venezuela, we have huge opportunities for Bitcoin in our government.

00:49:13.000 And I have also talked about it in several specialized spaces, because I think that the oil sector could also have put a lot of boost and energy on Bitcoin in Venezuela.

00:49:30.000 Would you advocate for some sort of strategic reserve in Venezuela eventually, taking some of that oil money, converting it to into a Bitcoin reserve, so to speak, or any of the other?

00:49:43.000 the big ones out there?

00:49:46.000 Oh, yes, I have mentioned that.

00:49:48.000 I think part of Venezuelan reserves in Bitcoin could be a very powerful tool in the future.

00:49:56.000 That's excellent.

00:49:58.000 When you talk about the next steps for you, how does it work?

00:50:04.000 Is there another election that they're just going to ignore?

00:50:10.000 Hopefully these sanctions, I guess, is what they would be, force that hand a little bit.

00:50:16.000 But what's the purpose of the elections if they're just going to be ignored?

00:50:19.000 Is it just about getting the will of the people to understand and eventually...

00:50:23.000 You know, that dam has to break.

00:50:25.000 It's sort of hard to believe it doesn't break at 90 percent because, again, I think that's unheard of in the world of politics.

00:50:29.000 But what are those next steps for you and for the people of Venezuela?

00:50:34.000 This is a very good question, Don.

00:50:36.000 I mean, on July 28th, when the regime realized that they weren't going to get out with their fraud because we were able to collect the tally sheets.

00:50:46.000 And I have to tell you, not only we scanned them.

00:50:49.000 We were able to put them on a website thanks to Starlink equipment that we have got secretly uncovered in our country.

00:51:03.000 That day, Maduro decided to close any possibility of election in the future.

00:51:09.000 I mean, they didn't publish one number.

00:51:13.000 They just decided Maduro.

00:51:16.000 It was the winner period, without showing one number.

00:51:20.000 They went against our polling monitors.

00:51:24.000 They got our people in prison just because they refused to give away the telescopes they were defending.

00:51:31.000 So, obviously, they closed the electoral path while Maduro is in power.

00:51:38.000 But we have to build enough pressure to create the incentives for Maduro to understand.

00:51:45.000 That staying in power is going to be much more costly than accepting a transition to democracy.

00:51:53.000 And that's precisely what we need to do right now.

00:51:56.000 The only thing Maduro has left, as I say, is the money that right now started to be cut and repression.

00:52:07.000 Once we weaken repression and we are organizing and relaunching our civic movement, there's nothing left for him.

00:52:15.000 But to go.

00:52:16.000 And he will have to go, Don.

00:52:19.000 Well, yeah, no, I think you're 100% right.

00:52:21.000 And for those of you who are just tuning in right now, as I said, breaking news, it's literally happening right now.

00:52:26.000 The Biden-era Chevron license in Venezuela is dead.

00:52:29.000 My father is just announcing this.

00:52:32.000 Can you just, again, perhaps explain how big a deal that is?

00:52:36.000 Because, again, I think it's the oil that's kept all of that.

00:52:40.000 I know we had other big news.

00:52:42.000 Rick Rennell was just in Venezuela bringing back six American hostages.

00:52:47.000 Maduro now claims he'll take back more deportees.

00:52:52.000 Those next steps, it feels like he's definitely on the ropes.

00:52:55.000 He's starting to work.

00:52:57.000 What do you see as next steps, and what do you think that relationship will be like for Venezuela, perhaps yourself, and the new Trump administration?

00:53:06.000 Well, there are many things that you have said.

00:53:09.000 I want to go through them quickly.

00:53:11.000 First, for every dollar Chevron got, Maduro got $3.

00:53:16.000 That's how bad it is.

00:53:18.000 It's billions of dollars that he has used for repression, persecution, and corruption.

00:53:26.000 That's over.

00:53:27.000 That's so important.

00:53:29.000 Secondly, of course, I'm aware of the task and the proposal of the visit of the special envoy, Richard Grinnell.

00:53:38.000 I spoke with him before and after his visit, and I understand he had a mission to take the hostages back home.

00:53:47.000 And I have great relations, I have to say, with many members of the Trump administration.

00:53:54.000 Mike Waltz has been a...

00:53:56.000 True champion, ally of the Venezuelan cause.

00:53:59.000 Of course, he's the national security advisor.

00:54:03.000 Marco Rubio, while he was a senator, he was one of the strongest voices to defend the Venezuelan cause and Cuba and Nicaragua.

00:54:12.000 Because once Maduro goes, you will see Cuba and Nicaragua fall as well.

00:54:18.000 And Latin America and the Americas will be, for the first time, three. 0.82

00:54:25.000 Of socialism and communism and tyrannies.

00:54:28.000 And certainly we have great friends in Congress, such as Senator Rick Scott and the representatives Mario Diaz-Balard, Mario Elvira Salazar, Carlos Jiménez, the Speaker Johnson.

00:54:41.000 Johnson is a great supporter of our cause.

00:54:45.000 So we know we are surrounded by a great team that trusts Venezuela and we trust them as well.

00:54:54.000 Maria, we've seen what a change in leadership can do for people of countries like El Salvador with Bukele. 0.85

00:55:02.000 I mean, just what an amazing turnaround from one of the highest crime nations in the world to one of the lowest in a few years.

00:55:10.000 You've seen it with Mille in Argentina turning what seemed like just an infinite stagflation to balanced budgets.

00:55:18.000 Sort of finish up.

00:55:19.000 Imagine that you're sitting with my father.

00:55:23.000 What would you tell him?

00:55:24.000 What's your concrete plan?

00:55:26.000 How do you make the election that you won actually be acknowledged?

00:55:29.000 And how do you have a peaceful transfer of power to stop the chaos?

00:55:35.000 How do you do this without turning Venezuela into another Libya or Iraq, which would be examples of sort of where that went wrong and just led to just downright instability?

00:55:48.000 Well, I really look forward to it.

00:55:50.000 To that moment, I really do.

00:55:53.000 And I would say, look, Mr. President, Venezuela is the biggest opportunity in this continent for you, for the American people, and for all the people in our continent, certainly for Venezuelans.

00:56:09.000 And we have the plan to move forward.

00:56:12.000 We're actually already executing it.

00:56:15.000 The plan to...

00:56:16.000 To get Maduro out.

00:56:18.000 We assume our responsibility.

00:56:21.000 We do our part here.

00:56:22.000 And we have proved it so far.

00:56:25.000 And we will never stop working.

00:56:27.000 Days and night.

00:56:29.000 But we need a true ally that exactly knows what to do.

00:56:34.000 We don't need.

00:56:35.000 We don't need.

00:56:37.000 Boots on the ground.

00:56:38.000 We don't need soldiers in Venezuela.

00:56:40.000 That's crazy.

00:56:42.000 We don't even need resources because we have the possibility to pay for freedom and to pay for the rebuilding of our country.

00:56:50.000 We have those resources.

00:56:52.000 Other countries, unfortunately, do not have them.

00:56:55.000 And we have this plan ready to work together for rebuilding Venezuela, opening markets, and getting great opportunities for All the actors in business in the U.S. and in the region.

00:57:11.000 And I want to be very clear regarding these fears about what happened in Libya, as you mentioned, or Syria.

00:57:20.000 Look, there is zero possibility of a civil war in Venezuela.

00:57:26.000 Zero.

00:57:27.000 This is a country that is united.

00:57:29.000 And I tell you, even the military, even the police.

00:57:35.000 We want this change as much as we do.

00:57:38.000 And we know what to do the first day we arrive in power.

00:57:43.000 We have a 100-day emergency plan for every single sector.

00:57:49.000 We have our teams with talented, professional people, some here, many around the world, that are desperate to come back and start rebuilding the nation.

00:58:00.000 That is, as I say, we're going to turn it from the criminal hub of the Americas into the energy hub of the Americas, the strongest allies in security, in energy and in democracy for the United States.

00:58:18.000 That's what we are going to be and we're going to do it together.

00:58:21.000 Well, Maria, Corina, Machado, thank you so much.

00:58:25.000 What an incredible moment in history.

00:58:28.000 Truly honor your bravery, all of the things that you're doing.

00:58:32.000 I think it's a great example for so many people in the world.

00:58:35.000 So thank you.

00:58:37.000 I really appreciate it.

00:58:38.000 I wish you all the luck.

00:58:39.000 Anything I can help do to support that, make sure your voice is heard and amplified.

00:58:44.000 It'd be an honor to be a tiny part of it.

00:58:47.000 So keep going strong.

00:58:49.000 I really look forward to seeing what you can do with your country.

00:58:53.000 Thank you so much, Don.

00:58:55.000 This means a lot to us.

00:58:56.000 We know we can count on you and trust us.

00:58:59.000 Trust the Venezuelan people.

00:59:00.000 We're going to do it right and we will win.

00:59:04.000 Don't doubt it.

00:59:05.000 Thank you so much.

00:59:06.000 Take care.

00:59:06.000 Thank you again.

00:59:07.000 Be well.

00:59:09.000 Maria, thank you so very much.

00:59:11.000 We appreciate your incredible efforts, your fighting.

00:59:15.000 It's a really big deal.

00:59:16.000 And guys, coming up, we'll get into the other top headlines to close out the show.

00:59:22.000 But first, Another word from one of our amazing sponsors.

01:00:10.000 Use promo code DONJUNIOR10 and save 10%.

01:00:14.000 Get ahead of the game.

01:00:15.000 And now, guys, let's get into some of the other top headlines.

01:00:20.000 We begin with the regime media meltdown over at the White House Correspondents Association.

01:00:26.000 Press Secretary Caroline Levitt announced Tuesday that the White House would now determine which reporters make up the press pool instead of the White House Correspondents Association, which blocks out many independent and conservative media outlets.

01:00:42.000 They function purely as regime propagandists, bolstering the leftist buddies of theirs.

01:00:48.000 While blocking out anyone else who actually may get you the truth.

01:00:52.000 Here's the White House Press Secretary explaining that decision yesterday.

01:00:56.000 As you all know, for decades, a group of D.C.-based journalists, the White House Correspondents Association, has long dictated which journalists get to ask questions of the President of the United States in these most intimate spaces.

01:01:10.000 Not anymore.

01:01:12.000 I am proud to announce that we are going to give the power back to the people who read your papers, who watch your television shows, and who listen to your radio stations.

01:01:22.000 Moving forward, the White House press pool will be determined by the White House press team.

01:01:27.000 Legacy outlets who have participated in the press pool for decades will still be allowed to join.

01:01:33.000 Fear not.

01:01:33.000 But we will also be offering the privilege to well-deserving outlets who have never been allowed to share in this awesome responsibility.

01:01:42.000 Now, we're also learning that Eugene Daniels, the president of the White House Correspondents Association, is leaving Politico and joining MSNBC to co-host a weekend roundtable show.

01:01:55.000 Here he is on your screen.

01:01:57.000 Now, Kamala Harris's comms director.

01:02:01.000 is going to MSNBC. That wouldn't be noteworthy, except for the fact that he demanded, it seems, Joy Reid's wardrobe to be included in that deal as part of the switch. 0.51

01:02:16.000 It's an interesting getup we got going on right now, guys.

01:02:19.000 Rather wild, but hey, nothing surprises me in 2025 anymore.

01:02:24.000 And meanwhile, the Trump administration...

01:02:27.000 is clearing out the rot inside every corner of government.

01:02:31.000 Just look at this report from Chris Rufo, friend of this show.

01:02:34.000 He's uncovered that in a secret NSA chatroom, NSA chatroom, guys, NSA, DNI, and Spacecom officials claim that Tulsi Gabbard is fervently anti-queer and a Russian agent and a member of the MAGA cult.

01:02:51.000 These employees include at least one, probably many, They thems, okay? 1.00

01:02:59.000 The pronouns are abundant, folks.

01:03:01.000 And they're attempting to undermine Tulsi Gabbard from within.

01:03:06.000 And even worse, creeps at the NSA were caught fantasizing about having hermaphrodite babies.

01:03:18.000 Honestly, guys, I feel like sometimes I'm reporting on like an episode of South Park and like someone's punking me, but they're not.

01:03:25.000 NSA members, people from the National Security Committee, they're fantasizing about having hermaphrodite babies so that they could raise them in non-binary fashion, I guess.

01:03:38.000 I don't even know what any of that means, but it ain't good and it really has no business at the NSA. This is all from newly uncovered messages.

01:03:49.000 Well, Tulsi Gabbard says these creeps have been fired, but how many more are there?

01:03:55.000 How many are smart enough to perhaps cover their tracks or not throw in their pronouns?

01:03:59.000 How many are just simply subverting the will of the people, the mandate from the American voter, the autonomy of some of these people in government?

01:04:09.000 How many are still in there quietly subverting it?

01:04:12.000 And I imagine the answer is a lot.

01:04:14.000 It's another reason why Democrats get so upset about Doge.

01:04:18.000 This stuff is beyond sick. 0.85

01:04:22.000 We only wish the NSA had shredded their secret sex chats. 0.92

01:04:26.000 We told you how intel officials were using government chat rooms to brag about their fetishes, kinks, and sex changes.

01:04:33.000 Journalist Chris Ruffo just uncovered more messages.

01:04:37.000 Viewer warning.

01:04:38.000 Creeps at the NSA were fantasizing about having hermaphrodite babies so they could raise them non-binary. 0.97

01:04:46.000 They were also trashing conservatives like Ben Shapiro, calling them effing monsters. 0.93

01:04:52.000 And after Pat Robertson died, CIA workers celebrated.

01:04:56.000 Quote, I was always taught never to say anything about the dead unless it's good.

01:05:00.000 He's dead.

01:05:01.000 Good.

01:05:03.000 The lawfare, the deep state, all the bad actors, they are on notice.

01:05:09.000 Yesterday, my father signed an executive order suspending security clearances for Covington and Berkling.

01:05:16.000 The LLP, the law firm, employees who worked with deranged Jack Smith to weaponize government against my father and the American people.

01:05:26.000 At the outset of your administration, sir, you committed to ending the weaponization of government, to holding those accountable who participated in the weaponization of government?

01:05:34.000 Hold it.

01:05:35.000 This is a good one.

01:05:36.000 Is everybody listening?

01:05:38.000 Deranged Jack Smith.

01:05:40.000 We're going to call it the deranged Jack Smith.

01:05:43.000 Signing for Bill.

01:05:45.000 Go ahead.

01:05:46.000 One law firm that provided pro bono legal services to the special counsel's office under Jack Smith's leadership was Covington& Burling.

01:05:53.000 As a result of those actions, we're now going to be suspending and putting under review the security clearances for the attorneys and employees at that firm who worked with Jack Smith's team.

01:06:05.000 And we're going to continue holding the people who were responsible for the weaponization of government, who supported it, accountable for what they did.

01:06:12.000 And you'll be doing this with other firms as time goes by, right?

01:06:15.000 We're looking at sort of the whole panoply of options.

01:06:18.000 The weaponization of our system by law firms, even pro bono work they're doing, just in order to clog up government, stop government.

01:06:28.000 And nobody knows about it more than me.

01:06:32.000 And hopefully that'll never happen again.

01:06:36.000 Mr. President, may I ask you a question about Europe?

01:06:43.000 So long-term, do you plan to maintain the number of U.S. troops stationed?

01:06:48.000 Wait, I just want to savor this one, please.

01:06:51.000 Who would like this pen?

01:06:53.000 Why don't you send it to Jack Smith? 0.97

01:06:57.000 A deranged person.

01:07:00.000 And earlier today, my father had his first cabinet meeting, where he announced that Zelensky will be at the White House Friday to sign an agreement on rare earth minerals.

01:07:12.000 Is the endless war, the endless bailout, finally coming to an end?

01:07:18.000 Right?

01:07:18.000 All of a sudden, rather than just giving them money for no cost, maybe we actually get something in return?

01:07:23.000 I mean, you know, we're funding this thing indefinitely.

01:07:25.000 We're funding it more than anyone else by a lot.

01:07:28.000 Maybe.

01:07:29.000 We should at least get some, I don't know, return on investment.

01:07:33.000 Seems like a basic concept that no one in government had thought of, apparently, before my father.

01:07:37.000 And my father is doing something novel.

01:07:40.000 He's actually negotiating a deal, guys.

01:07:43.000 A deal that will benefit Americans and will make America richer.

01:07:49.000 Incredible concept, folks.

01:07:50.000 Hard to believe, you know?

01:07:52.000 Seems so obvious, and yet it's so not for so many people.

01:07:56.000 We appreciate you being here, and we've put together a great cabinet, and we've had tremendous success.

01:08:03.000 We've been given a lot of credit for having a very successful first month, and we want to make that many months and years, actually.

01:08:12.000 But we're going to have many good months, and we're going to have many good years, I hope, and we're going to solve a lot of problems.

01:08:18.000 We're doing very well with Russia and Ukraine.

01:08:21.000 President Zelensky is going to be coming on Friday.

01:08:24.000 That's now confirmed.

01:08:25.000 And we're going to be signing an agreement, which will be a very big agreement.

01:08:29.000 And I want to thank Howard and Scott for the job you guys did in putting it together.

01:08:34.000 Really did an amazing job.

01:08:37.000 And that'll be on rare earth and other things.

01:08:42.000 And as you know, we're in for probably $350 billion.

01:08:46.000 Europe is in for $100 billion.

01:08:50.000 And that's a big difference.

01:08:52.000 So we're in for probably three times as much, and yet it's very important to everybody, but Europe is very close.

01:08:59.000 We have a big ocean separating us, so it's very important for Europe, and they hopefully will step up and do maybe more than they're doing, and maybe a lot more.

01:09:10.000 The previous administration put us in a very bad position, but we've been able to make a deal where we're going to get And we'll have even more to cover next week as big things are happening and the news is constantly breaking.

01:09:35.000 Guys, thank you so much for tuning in.

01:09:37.000 I thought that was an amazing interview.
