The latest on the crash of a Black Hawk helicopter and the hearings from Tulsi Gabbard and RFK Jr. as well as a new sponsor, Henry Repeating Arms and a new product line from Henry Remington!
00:05:39.000A lot of us are still in a bit of shock after last night's collision just outside Reagan National Airport.
00:05:45.000There's a lot of updates coming in, and we're going to bring you the latest.
00:05:50.000In fact, Congressman Corey Mills will join us.
00:05:52.000Corey is an Army veteran with, obviously, deep knowledge of Black Hawk helicopters and their operation.
00:05:59.000He'll provide us the latest updates that he has.
00:06:02.000We also have Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn who questioned Kash Patel today at his Senate confirmation hearing.
00:06:10.000You may have seen some of the clips, but she'll be here to give us her reaction to today's hearing and the absolute ridiculousness of the Democrats.
00:06:21.000Hopefully we get cash across the line because I'd love the FBI getting back to doing, I don't know, stuff that the FBI is supposed to be doing, not spying on concerned parents at PTA meetings and allowing bad people who are always on their radar to get away with doing whatever terrible things they're doing.
00:06:37.000So it seems logical to me, but again, we don't live in a logical world anymore.
00:06:41.000We're hoping to bring back some of that normalcy, some of that sanity.
00:06:44.000We're hoping to make common sense common yet again.
00:06:49.000We'll also cover the hearings from Tulsi Gabbard and RFK Jr. as Democrats are showing us that they're not really all that serious about getting real reformers into government who actually want to fix things.
00:07:03.000Republicans, usually the weak ones, they go along with the Democrats on all their votes.
00:07:07.000How many Republicans, countless, voted for Mayorkas, voted for the Attorney General that Joe Biden put up who weaponized justice against us, Merrick Garland.
00:07:18.000They've all voted for him, for the most part.
00:07:21.000And yet, we can't even have common sense reformers get any Democrat support.
00:07:26.000It's disgusting, but I hope you guys are paying attention and that these guys keep digging their own graves for the future, because they're not about America, they're certainly not about freedom, and we gotta vote them out so we can get more done in this next precious four years.
00:07:43.000Guys, make sure that you are liking, sharing, and subscribing so you never miss one of these major episodes.

00:08:22.000And we'll get to some of that news in just a moment, but also don't forget about our brave sponsors, including a brand new sponsor, and this one's close to my heart because I have a lot of them, Henry Repeating Arms.
00:09:25.000And this is a company that shares your values, giving back to our military, giving back to our veterans, first responders, and organizations that support our Second Amendment rights.

00:09:50.000And with that, guys, let's get into the top headlines.
00:09:56.000At this hour, unfortunately, at least 28 bodies have been pulled out of the Potomac River after an American Airlines jet carrying 60 passengers and four crew members collided with an Army Blackhawk helicopter while landing at Ronald Reagan National Airport at around 9 p.m.
00:10:15.000Crews were still searching for other casualties, but did not believe there were any survivors, which would make it the deadliest U.S. crash in nearly 24 years, I believe since 9-11.
00:10:26.000There's an ongoing investigation inside the FAA and NTSB.
00:10:31.000And while there's no official cause at this point, there is growing sentiment that the helicopter pilots may have confirmed visual on the wrong aircraft and may have not even seen the aircraft they crashed into.
00:10:46.000Passengers on the flight include a group of figure skaters, their coaches and family members who are returning from a development camp following the U.S. figure skating championships in Wichita.
00:10:58.000It's just a terrible event, a terrible day.
00:11:01.000Here's Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and my father speaking about it earlier today.
00:11:11.000I signed something last week that was an executive order very powerful on restoring the highest standards of air traffic controllers and others, by the way.
00:11:22.000And my administration will set the highest possible bar for aviation safety.
00:11:50.000We're going to get to the bottom of this.
00:11:53.000We first and foremost from the Defense Department want to pass our condolences to the 64 souls and their families that were affected by this.
00:12:03.000And certainly the three service members, the three soldiers, a young captain.
00:12:09.000Staff Sergeant and CW2, Chief Warrant Officer, on a routine annual retraining of night flights on a standard corridor for a continuity of government mission.
00:12:30.000There was some sort of an elevation issue that we have immediately begun investigating at the DoD and Army level.
00:12:38.000Army CID is on the ground investigating.
00:12:41.000Top tier aviation assets inside the DoD are investigating, sir, to get to the bottom of it so that it does not happen again because it's absolutely...
00:12:50.000This is really an unfathomable tragedy.
00:12:52.000It's been 15 years since we've seen any sort of crash like it in American airspace.
00:12:58.000And honestly, we can't talk about this without talking about what Biden's FAA has been focused on these last four years.
00:13:07.000DEI, or as I call it, DIE. Now, I'm not saying that's even the cause of it, but it certainly doesn't help.
00:13:14.000When they call out perhaps the top performers in a test because they don't check enough boxes, whatever it may be, these are the things that we've been doing as a country.
00:13:24.000We will, of course, wait until all the facts come out, but there's no doubt that DEI insanity has made our skies less safe.
00:13:33.000For example, did you know that under Democrat left-wing leadership, 3,000 top-performing applicants for air traffic controller positions were rejected by the FAA because of their race?
00:14:09.000The state's legal foundation is part of a class action on behalf of 900-plus would-be air traffic controllers.
00:14:16.000And so we brought this suit based on the FAA's change in its hiring practices.
00:14:21.000So it used to be that they would score a pre-employment test, and it would be based on merit.
00:14:27.000And all of our clients passed with flying colors.
00:14:29.000Many of them passed with 100% on this test.
00:14:32.000and the FAA decided that the pool of air traffic controller applicants was too white.
00:14:39.000And so they flushed that initial test and they adopted a biographical assessment, which you can already hear is an ominous term for a air traffic controller test.
00:15:04.000People are aware of it and doesn't seem to matter.
00:15:06.000It's unfortunate that it perhaps takes tragedies like this, even if it's not the cause to have people talking about the risks that should not be.
00:15:15.000And another report tonight claims that staffing was, quote, not normal at rate.
00:15:21.000We'll wait for more findings on what exactly that means, but it's why we need...
00:15:32.000It's why we need to start hiring based on merit and not checkboxes, because this stuff will continue to happen until we do that.
00:15:41.000And we, of course, continue to pray for all the victims and their families, and we'll bring you all the latest details as they come in.
00:15:49.000But important business continued on Capitol Hill today as Kash Patel, Tulsi Gabbard, And RFK Jr. all appeared in front of the respective committees for their confirmation hearings.
00:16:02.000And they were all incredible and showed just why they're the perfect picks to join my father's cabinet.
00:16:12.000Kash Patel was subjected to bizarre smear attacks from Democrats who are even claiming they're worried about the weaponization of justice.
00:16:49.000All of those statements are taken out.
00:16:51.000of grotesque context, and anyone that thinks my 16 years of service is an exemplary on how I would proceed if confirmed as FBI, is intentionally putting false information into the public ether and creating more public discourse.
00:17:07.000The only thing that will matter if I'm confirmed as a director of the FBI is a de-weaponized, de-politicized system of law enforcement completely devoted to rigorous obedience of the Constitution and a singular standard of justice.
00:17:37.000If the best attacks on me are going to be false accusations and grotesque mischaracterizations, the only thing this body is doing is defeating the credibility of the men and women at the FBI. I stood with them here in this country.
00:17:49.000In every theater of war we have, I was on the ground in service of this nation.
00:17:55.000Accusations leveled against me that I would somehow put political bias before the Constitution are grotesquely unfair.
00:18:02.000And I will have you reminded that I have been endorsed by over 300,000 law enforcement officers to become the next director of the FBI. Let's ask them.
00:18:11.000Mr. Chairman, I am quoting his own words from September of 2024. It is his own words.
00:18:47.000And just a few doors down, Tulsi Gabbard sat for her hearing to be the next director of national intelligence.
00:18:57.000Not surprisingly, Senate Democrats want you to believe that Tulsi is some sort of puppet of Russia, which is obviously completely made up, but it seems to be their go-to for anyone they can't handle, for anyone they want to stop.
00:19:14.000And as Tulsi explained, it's the creatures of the swamp who are the real puppets.
00:19:20.000I want to warn the American people who are watching at home, you may hear lies and smears in this hearing that will challenge my loyalty to and my love for our country.
00:19:31.000Those who oppose my nomination imply that I am loyal to something or someone other than God, my own conscience, and the Constitution of the United States, accusing me of being Trump's puppet, Putin's puppet, Assad's puppet, a guru's puppet, Modi's puppet, not recognizing the absurdity of simultaneously being the puppet of five different puppet masters.
00:19:57.000The same tactic was used against President Trump and failed.
00:20:02.000The American people elected President Trump with a decisive victory and mandate for change.
00:20:08.000The fact is, what truly unsettles my political opponents is I refuse to be their puppet.
00:20:16.000As Tulsi explained, endless wars, faulty intelligence, have led to massive failures, which undermines our national security.
00:20:25.000Just like the Iraq War, which was based on fabricated intelligence, that's why the swamp doesn't want Tulsi.
00:20:31.000Remember, guys, there's no money in peace.
00:20:58.000Nobody here, all the people here who are defending this current system and defending these pharmaceutical industry profits, many of whom are taking Huge amounts of money on the pharmaceutical industry.
00:21:12.000Millions of dollars for many of these senators.
00:21:16.000And none of that, this is not making our country healthier.
00:22:03.000And that's where we find the corruption.
00:22:06.000And for all the talk about can RFK Jr. actually be confirmed, here's who Democrats unanimously voted to confirm under Joe Biden for a high-level HHS position, very similar to Bobby Kennedy.
00:22:36.000This Black History Month, I'm pleased to partner with OMH in advancing better health through better understanding for black communities.
00:22:44.000Climate change is having a disproportionate effect on the physical and mental health of black communities.
00:22:49.000Black Americans are more likely than white Americans to live in areas and housing that increase their susceptibility to climate-related health issues.
00:22:58.000And 65% of Black Americans report feeling anxious about climate change's impact.
00:23:04.000Through our Office of Climate Change and Health Equity and the Office of Environmental Justice, we're working with providers and community leaders to identify innovative approaches that empower communities to address health consequences linked to climate change.
00:23:20.000Visit hhs.gov for more information and tune in next Thursday to hear from another HHS leader on how you can contribute to advancing better health for Black communities.
00:23:31.000For more information, visit hhs.gov slash black.
00:23:46.000He, it, they, them, Zimzer, who the hell knows anymore.
00:23:51.000That individual is apparently very qualified, but Bobby Kennedy, who actually could talk about science, apparently isn't in the minds of Democrats.
00:24:03.000And meanwhile, the Trump administration is doing anything and everything they can to secure our border and to make sure that it actually stays secure.
00:24:21.000Also signing an executive order to instruct the departments of defense and homeland security to begin preparing the 30,000 person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay.
00:24:53.000And by the way, while we're at it, why don't we, you know, I don't want to scrap the tours of Alcatraz, but if we need more space, maybe we should open that bad boy back up to the worst of the worst.
00:25:05.000Guys, we're also now learning that ICE apprehended 1,016 aliens just this Tuesday.
00:25:13.000Amongst these were at least 16 Terenderagua gang members and violent criminals charged with murder, child solicitation, and more.
00:25:23.000Again, these are the worst of the worst.
00:25:26.000These are the people that Biden knowingly let into our country and Democrats are aggressively trying to defend through their mouthpieces in the mainstream media.
00:25:40.000And lastly, a very disturbing story out of Washington where reporters say that a transgender individual inspired by charged CEO assassin Luigi Mangione was arrested at the Capitol on Monday with Molotov cocktails, knives, and explosives trying to assassinate Pete Hexeth, Treasury Secretary Scott Besant, and others.
00:26:04.000Yeah, we've talked about it a lot on the show.
00:26:07.000It does seem that the radical trans movement is by far the most violent per capita group in the country.
00:26:13.000This just continues to show us that that's the case.
00:26:17.000By the way, Scott Besant, I think he's the highest serving ever openly gay treasury secretary, highest member of the cabinet who's gay, and yet I guess that's not going to stop the trans movement from trying to take them out because they're working for Trump.
00:26:33.000I mean, that's how sick these people are.
00:26:35.000It's a stark reminder that while it's an exciting time, it's also a dangerous time.
00:26:40.000And it's just another reason why we need to get these cabinet nominees confirmed as soon as possible to fully execute on the Trump America First agenda immediately.
00:26:54.000Guys, joining me now for much more, Florida Congressman, Army veteran Corey Mills.
00:27:41.000I think that's where the NTSB investigation is going to be so important to determine whether or not the ADSB was turned on, the transponders were actually doing what they're supposed to do to ensure that you're getting everything up and running.
00:27:54.000But also, I'm surprised that the TAUS, the train awareness system that's utilized on a lot of these fixed-wing aircraft, was not actually going off and letting them know at what level something was actually coming in and where.
00:28:05.000And so ATC also, I'd love to hear some of their communication platforms or where they were communicating with both aircraft and which individual spaces, whether someone actually overshot the runway or overshot the turn.
00:28:20.000But look, before we get into the investigation, look, our hearts, our thoughts, our prayers to every single one of the souls that was lost in this horrific incident.
00:28:29.000And I know that they're starting to release some of the names.
00:28:31.000They're starting to release some of the families.
00:28:33.000And it's just horrific what's what's taking place.
00:28:36.000And hopefully we can do an investigation to prevent this in the future.
00:28:40.000So, I mean, obviously, you know, a plan on final approach is descending.
00:28:44.000But usually if you're in a traffic pattern and you're going in opposing directions, they usually have you at different altitudes, odd, even depending on which which you're doing.
00:28:52.000So, I mean, it does still strike me as a little bit odd that they'd be flying at exactly the same level.
00:28:58.000Well, it strikes me as a bit odd, but again, it also is just strange that none of the early detection systems, from the little bit of ATC traffic that I've heard, I didn't hear anything from the American Airlines that was indicating that they were actually on a collision pattern.
00:29:11.000I heard nothing from the actual Blackhawk himself on whether or not they had detected or had eyes on.
00:29:17.000A lot of times when we're in the air, the ATC will actually say, look, you've got an aircraft, you know, traveling at this, you know, altitude.
00:29:25.000And, you know, you'll tell them, hey, look, I'll look for that.
00:29:27.000And then you'll go ahead and indicate that you have eyes on that traffic.
00:29:30.000I didn't really hear a whole lot of that.
00:29:32.000And so I'm really curious to just get the full NTSB investigation and determine.
00:29:37.000And look, this is why it's great to have Secretary Sean Duffy and Secretary Pete Hegseth, who will both be involved in this investigation to be able to get the truth out to the American people and what truly took place.
00:29:48.000Yeah, I'm not even saying that, you know, this is part of it yet.
00:29:51.000But, you know, I've been talking about on the show.
00:29:53.000I think we've maybe even spoken about it in person.
00:29:56.000You know, the sort of disqualification of 3,000 of the most qualified people, meaning people who scored the highest on the various aptitude tests, were just left out because, you know, I guess they didn't check some sort of, you know, racial, socioeconomic or otherwise box.
00:30:14.000You know, it may not have anything to do with this one, but it certainly doesn't make me feel safer getting on a plane these days.
00:30:21.000Look, we know for a fact that the DEI platform has basically led to meritocracy being marginalized, and I think that's had a big play in things.
00:30:29.000But also in going to the airports around the country, you know, one of the things that I've discussed is the fact that we've got a shortage in air traffic control operators.
00:30:36.000One of the gaps that we can actually utilize to try and get that shortage down is to actually have the military ATC operators be able to transition straight in.
00:30:46.000Currently, that doesn't exist, which is bizarre to me that you've got...
00:30:50.000Some of the most qualified individuals who are operating, you know, military, ATC, you know, aircraft in and out who have to take additional exams and additional transition courses in order to do a job in the civilian world that they're already doing in the military at a much higher and much more stressful rate.
00:31:04.000So I think getting that, you know, I sit on the Armed Services Committee.
00:31:07.000I sit on three different subcommittees, military readiness, the intelligence special operation, and military personnel.
00:31:13.000Getting that transition to allow our military ATC operators to transition to the civilian world should not only get the high qualified operators that we need, but it'll also help with the short failings that we have with regards to ATC operators across the country.
00:31:26.000Yeah, I mean, I remember reading, I guess it was the Obama regs initially about this.
00:31:30.000They want to make sure that people, you know, who are mentally unstable can get, I mean, like, it's really like when you read the list, it was almost like You know, watching an episode of South Park, like they really wait.
00:31:41.000They want someone who has mental issues.
00:31:42.000I mean, this is some of the most stressful things.
00:31:44.000Again, as a pilot myself, you know, the hardest thing is actually not flying a plane.
00:31:48.000It's doing all of these things, communicating.
00:31:50.000And when you're balancing that kind of airspace, you know, that many planes in that tight of proximity, I mean, that is a serious, you know, high stress job.
00:31:59.000You need high functioning people, not just people, you know.
00:32:06.000So I know there's ongoing investigations at the FAA, at the NTSB. What's Congress's role going to be in this investigations, if any?
00:32:13.000Because I do feel, you know, hey, as someone who flies 300,000 miles a year, probably, on commercial aircraft, this does not exactly strike confidence, you know, when I get on those planes.
00:32:26.000Well, you know, as a pilot, you know, our main thing is to aviate, navigate and communicate.
00:32:32.000And we have to continue to understand that this is a Bravo airspace.
00:32:35.000A lot of people who don't understand what a Bravo airspace is, this is your big commercial airspace, which is one of the most controlled, one of the most highly utilized.
00:32:42.000And so there's a lot that needs to be going.
00:32:44.000I unfortunately don't sit on the actual transportation infrastructure committee, but I know that they'll be working hand in glove when it comes to what Secretary Duffy is doing as well as for we'll be looking into what's taking place with regards to what was a very experienced crew for this UH-60 Black Hawk crew who is, my understanding was, was just doing but I know that they'll be working hand in glove when it comes to what Secretary Duffy is doing as well as So I'm very intrigued to find out what the details of this is.
00:33:10.000I mean, will it actually have changed the outcome of such a horrific and such a devastating thing that's taken place?
00:33:27.000It was worse watching the media somehow try to blame Trump for this.
00:33:30.000I mean, he's been in office for like, you know, nine days.
00:33:33.000And it's somehow his fault, not the policies of the prior administrations that actually perhaps allow this.
00:33:38.000Again, I'm not saying that's even the cause of the case.
00:33:40.000I would look at Secretary Buttigieg and what was his actual priorities while he was in office.
00:33:43.000I mean, you know, I understand that he was at home utilizing his fake breasts to go ahead and go, you know, into his paternal and maternal leave.
00:33:49.000But the reality is, is that where was he with regards to some of the most horrific incidents?
00:33:54.000Where was he with East Palestine, Ohio?
00:33:55.000Where was he with all the change elements?
00:33:57.000Where was he with regards to what the priorities are with outfitting our ATC and even...
00:34:03.000Dallas-Fort Worth, one of the most utilized airfields.
00:34:05.000They haven't had an update in their ATC in quite some time.
00:34:08.000So where was there in the necessary allocations and requests for budgeting?
00:34:11.000Where was he, you know, in regards to this type of incident and prevention?
00:34:15.000So, you know, they can continue to try and point at President Trump, who's been in office for all of a week, and try and say, oh, well, you're the responsibility of this.
00:34:21.000But they're going to try and look at, what, four years of wiping their mistakes under the rug?
00:34:25.000I mean, it's the same thing that Pete's dealing with, for example, in the Department of Defense, where you got a 42,000 recruitment deficit.
00:34:31.000You know, this is where President Trump has now come forward.
00:34:34.000Something I fought for for two years and got denied is actually going forward, which is the reinstatement of all of the 8,600 plus who are unconstitutionally purged for our military for a denial of their religious and medical exemptions in regards to the COVID vaccine.
00:34:49.000So, you know, look, they can't keep putting the pressure on your father, who's actually done more in the first week than President Biden did in his entire four years.
00:34:56.000Yeah, no, Pete Buttigieg was chest feeding.
00:34:59.000He took paternity leave without I think it was months during the midst of a supply chain crisis and all of the disasters there.
00:35:08.000It didn't matter because they don't think about these things.
00:35:12.000It's just he got that job because he checked some boxes too.
00:35:16.000It's why he was able to run for president, not because he had any real qualifications, because he was an abject failure as a mayor and whatnot.
00:35:41.000As President Trump continues to sign executive orders, I think it's the mandate of Congress to go ahead and start codifying those into law.
00:35:47.000One of the mistakes that we continue to see is where there's this political football.
00:35:52.000One administration comes in, does 100, 150 different executive orders to do or undo the previous administration's kind of product, and then you have the exact same thing in the next administration.
00:36:01.000What we need to be doing is not allowing the American people to continue to be the ping-pong between this political match.
00:36:07.000We need to start codifying into law things that actually matter.
00:36:10.000Things like the tax reform plan, things like eliminating DEI, you know, which is diversity, equity, inclusion, which does anything but bring inclusivity, cohesion, and meritocracy back into American, you know, workforce.
00:36:23.000And we need to start making sure that that is codified to where it all across all federal governments, bureaus, and agencies, that that is no longer utilized.
00:36:31.000And I'm not looking for where they just change the name from DEI to something else.
00:36:36.000I'm looking for a complete elimination of funding and the implementation of this.
00:37:20.000I know we spoke about it on Monday or Tuesday on the show as it broke, but can you give us some of the details on that?
00:37:26.000Yeah, look, Helen Biotech has continued to utilize a slave workforce, which is essentially the Uyghurs in certain regions, to go ahead and build certain bio and Meditech production as well as for pharmaceuticals.
00:37:38.000And look, we as America need to not only just prevent these types of things from occurring and basically prevent from being a part of that problem, America needs to get more control.
00:37:51.000We need to get more control of our economic, our resource, our supply chain, our raw earth materials, our rare earth mineral mining.
00:37:59.000We have to stop relying on adversarial nations who are utilizing America as the cash cow to feed their malign agenda.
00:38:06.000And so what I've demanded here is not only to look into who has the ownership of this, what actually is going on with regards to human rights abuse and things like this, but I want to look at a full audit of their financials of what nations are also I want a full dump into this, and they can either do it willingly within the 30 calendar days, as my letter requested, or I'll take this to further criminal charges, look at further committee hearings, as well as for further investigations.
00:38:30.000But we have to stop trying to be the actual recipients of goods and products that are actually being made with human rights violations and forced labor.
00:38:58.000Do you have confidence that the House GOP conference can do the same, that they'll keep up, that they'll keep that energy going, that they'll keep that, you know, sort of the foot on the gas?
00:39:34.000Now you're talking about his second term where he has to undo.
00:39:37.000We're going to do all of the negativity and all of the actual faux pas that's going on in the Biden administration.
00:39:42.000So Congress has an obligation to try and keep pace to feed the president's agenda, but also to help the American people.
00:39:49.000I believe Speaker Johnson and leadership is prepared for that, but I will continue to try and nudge them and force them in the right direction to make sure that we're going to codify into law these executive orders so that when President Trump does leave office, that's not going to be political football to be able to undo everything like we saw with the Remain in Mexico agreement.
00:40:06.000We're going to make sure this is written into law.
00:40:08.000We're going to make it difficult for the Democrats to try and play the executive order game.
00:40:11.000And we're going to continue to keep our foot on the gas because the American people and American exceptionalism, the American dream, all that depends on our ability to push over the next four years.
00:40:20.000Well, Congressman Mills, thank you very much.

00:41:27.000Joining me now, Senate Judiciary Committee member, Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn.
00:41:36.000Marsha, great to have you back on the show.
00:41:38.000It is so good to join you, and I've got to tell you, we are off to a running start here in D.C. and had great hearings today with Kash Patel.
00:41:50.000I was watching this morning as that was going on.
00:41:54.000You questioned Kash Patel at the hearing.
00:41:56.000You actually had some serious questions.
00:41:58.000Your Democrat colleagues, however, Not so much.
00:42:02.000What was your reaction to that, especially sort of through the lens of everything we've gone through for the last nine years, the weaponization of the DOJ, clearly the weaponization of the FBI and the incompetence that we've seen from there.
00:42:17.000How do you keep a straight face in that meeting as they're doing their holier than thou nonsense?
00:42:23.000Yes, their holier than thou nonsense, and they're trying to rehash things that- You know, are just of no use.
00:42:32.000And that is why I asked Cash why the Democrats fear him.
00:42:37.000Because, you know, Don, as you listen to their questions and what they were saying and how it was all of this.
00:42:45.000Trying to personally attack and go after positions.
00:42:51.000They repeatedly tried to discredit him.
00:42:55.000And he said he didn't know why they hated him so.
00:42:58.000I said, I can tell you why they fear you.
00:43:01.000It is because you know what really happened over there at that House Intel Committee.
00:43:08.000You are going to clean the cabal out at the FBI, and you are going to get this thing on the right track.
00:43:15.000Well, like I said, I think you did a superb job with your questioning because, you know, again, through the lens of the mainstream media, you're never going to get the reality of what's going on.
00:43:46.000I mean, if people were thinking about calling the FBI because there's something there, I think they'd actually question it because they don't know that it's not going to be somehow weaponized against them.
00:43:55.000Across the board, we have new cabinet nominees and new secretaries who are making it clear that business as usual is over.
00:44:02.000But, you know, quite a few rhinos and almost all of the Democrats are not ready for that yet.
00:44:08.000And what we're saying is it is a new day in Washington, D.C. And President Trump is doing a phenomenal job issuing executive orders.
00:44:19.000And that is our jump start to straighten out these agencies, to cut the size of the federal government, to reduce federal spending.
00:44:31.000Actually pass the laws and pass the bills that will become laws that are going to do that.
00:44:39.000So we have a lot of work on our plate to get done.
00:44:44.000And the nominees that are coming forward and are being confirmed and are going right to work.
00:44:50.000We saw yesterday how quickly Sean Duffy moved forward with his role as the DOT secretary with that horrific plane crash that happened last night.
00:45:27.000They have grown so fatigued and so frustrated with seeing two tiers of justice at the DOJ and the FBI, two tiers of access to government and government services.
00:45:40.000We saw that with FEMA when they were very slow coming into Tennessee, coming into North Carolina.
00:45:47.000We have seen how they have had two tiers of treatment.
00:45:54.000Because the Biden administration preferenced those that were illegally entering the country and put the burden on people that are citizens of the United States.
00:46:07.000So to be working together as a team with an administration, with the president, that is not fearful of what is going to happen if you do an executive order, if you make a move, to have secretaries who...
00:46:23.000We're rolling up their sleeves and getting to work on day one.
00:46:28.000And my Senate colleagues and our colleagues over in the House who are saying yes.
00:46:55.000Yeah, no, I think that's an important point, right?
00:46:56.000We can implement, we can sort of use the executive orders as a catalyst to get things going, but I'd love to see all of these things codified by Congress, the House, and the Senate, so they actually become law, so they can't be undone in the, you know, the very scary scenario of Democrats taking over, either in midterms or perhaps even presidentially in four years.
00:47:17.000We need these things into law because...
00:47:31.000But I have to tell you, the thing that has been so encouraging to me is wherever I am in Tennessee or traveling to and from, people will come up to me and they will say, Thank you.
00:48:02.000And we have been really a little bit surprised with how people are watching these confirmation hearings.
00:48:10.000And Don, you know, that is a great thing because what they're seeing firsthand is how belligerent some of the Democrats are being and how...
00:48:20.000Controlled and prepared the nominees that President Donald Trump has selected to be in his cabinet, to be his advisors, to carry out his agenda.
00:48:36.000And I think every time they watch one of these hearings, it increases their confidence in what we are doing and what we have the ability to do.
00:48:48.000I mean, Senator, what can you tell us about the timeframe on the remaining nominees?
00:48:52.000Again, I think there was a mandate clearly nationally, not just winning all the swing states, but also the popular vote.
00:48:57.000I mean, there is a mandate that my father get the cabinet to actually put America first.
00:49:03.000What do you see as the timeframe on those remaining nominees?
00:49:06.000Do you expect them all to be confirmed?
00:49:08.000You know, I've seen, you know, a couple of your colleagues in the Senate on the, you know, let's call it Republican side, we'll use that very loosely or in air quotes, you know, not go along with that.
00:49:19.000You know, what do you see here, especially as you get to some of the ones that are perhaps more controversial, whether that's cash, whether that's Bobby Kennedy, or perhaps the one that seems to be the most controversial, I can't actually figure out why, Tulsi Gabbard.
00:49:31.000Yeah, and you know, Bobby Kennedy did a superb job yesterday when he came before us at the Finance Committee.
00:49:39.000I thought he really did such a solid...
00:49:47.000Presentation, representing himself, representing President Trump's opinion and approach.
00:49:54.000And I believe we're going to get all of these nominees confirmed.
00:49:58.000If we lose a couple of votes, we have a fantastic vice president who is there to break the tie.
00:50:05.000What are some of your other top priorities now in the United States Senate?
00:50:10.000Once you get through the confirmation process, what do you want to see happen?
00:50:14.000You know, in the two years prior to midterms.
00:50:39.000Your federal workforce so you can begin to turn it down.
00:50:44.000And I have one that moves a return to work policy and a merit-based promotion system.
00:50:52.000Another of that package moves federal agencies outside of Washington, DC. And another that mandates having across the board spending cuts of either one, two or 5% across the board.
00:51:10.000We also have bills that deal with children, with their safety online and in the virtual space, the Kids Online Safety Act.
00:51:19.000We have an online consumer privacy bill, which you know, Don, AI is right around the corner.
00:51:26.000So we have to make certain that we have online privacy for our citizens so that their information is not captured.
00:51:36.000And these big tech companies Don't grab it and build a virtual you of each and every one of us.
00:51:43.000We have a rural health agenda that deals with health care innovation, increasing access points, especially in rural areas, expanding telehealth, some incentives for a rural health care workforce.
00:51:58.000And Senator Warner and I have worked in a bipartisan manner on the Area Wage Index.
00:52:07.000I have a bill, again, I've worked on it for quite a while, and it would fix the Social Security issue so that we increase that threshold.
00:52:17.000And then we take away the marriage penalty and individuals making less than $34,000 or married couples more than $68,000.
00:52:28.000Everybody under that $34,000 and $68,000 would pay zero federal income tax on their Social Security.
00:52:37.000And it exempts a little over 70% of all Social Security recipients from paying one penny of tax.
00:52:47.000So, I mean, that all seems like total common sense.
00:52:50.000And yet I imagine it's still, I mean, all of it.
00:52:53.000I mean, that was a pretty extensive list.
00:52:54.000I'd love to see all of that go through, obviously.
00:52:58.000But how does that kind of common sense thinking policy clearly benefits the American people?
00:53:05.000I imagine if they knew about it, they'd be all in for it.
00:53:08.000How does that still face the kind of resistance that you and I both know it's going to face?
00:53:12.000You've been talking about these bills for a long time.
00:55:05.000And it saved the lives of a lot of children.
00:55:07.000So we have legislation to put that back in federal code so that...
00:55:14.000Future administrations have to DNA test when a child presents at one of our border crossings or tries to enter the country.
00:55:24.000And also we have one that allows fingerprinting so that it would stop this child recycling that the cartels do.
00:55:31.000These are all just common sense things.
00:55:34.000We are hopeful that the Democrats will eventually realize that President Donald Trump was given a mandate in November, and it is up to us to enact that mandate.
00:55:46.000And some of these Democrats that are in red states need to realize that their constituents voted for President Trump and gave that mandate, and they expect them to work with our president and to work with us to get this turned into law and get these laws on the books.
00:56:16.000And any kind of air cover we can give you to make sure that this common sense stuff actually gets codified in the law, just please let us know.
00:56:24.000So really appreciate your time and get back out there and fight.
00:56:50.000Great firearms, a great American-made company.
00:56:54.000Awesome stuff for everybody, whether you're getting into it, whether you're kids, whether it's for home defense or hunting or anything else, HenryUSA.com.
