00:00:00.000 Thank you.
00:05:26.000 It's in an incredible few days.
00:05:28.000 I just got back from New Orleans, Louisiana, where my father became the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl.
00:05:35.000 That's actually shocking to me, but apparently it's true.
00:05:39.000 The cheers for him were awesome, and it was an absolute blast.
00:05:43.000 I was there from Friday.
00:05:44.000 I have a lot of friends in the area.
00:05:46.000 Just a dynamic shift.
00:05:48.000 New Orleans is not exactly a conservative town.
00:05:50.000 People are loving what's going on.
00:05:52.000 People from all different walks of life, all socioeconomic statuses just coming up to me, loving it.
00:05:58.000 Whether it was big business guys in some of the boxes at the game, the janitor at the Super Bowl himself who just came up to me and just so happy to take a selfie in what we're doing.
00:06:08.000 It was just absolutely awesome.
00:06:12.000 And during the game, my father even announced that we are cutting pennies, literally.
00:06:19.000 We're getting rid of the penny, guys.
00:06:21.000 So we'll get into all of that.
00:06:23.000 And later we're going to have investigative reporter Lee Smith.
00:06:26.000 He'll be here to help us continue to unravel all of the spending scandals inside the government.
00:06:32.000 That's why it's so critical to get this stuff out, guys.
00:06:34.000 You see the media just totally silent on some of the insanity that's being exposed.
00:06:39.000 You're seeing corrupt partisan judges trying to prevent, like, the Secretary of the Treasury, you know, the CFO, the Chief Financial Officer of America, For looking into some of these insane payments.
00:06:52.000 They don't even want any exposure.
00:06:54.000 They don't want any transparency.
00:06:56.000 They want business as usual.
00:06:59.000 So a lot to get into, plus my father's strategy in the Middle East.
00:07:03.000 It's going to be great.
00:07:04.000 So make sure you guys are liking, sharing, subscribing so you never miss one of these major episodes.
00:07:11.000 We need you guys out there pushing all of this so people see what the media is not going to cover.

00:07:36.000 That's not easy.
00:07:37.000 Maybe it's easier today than it was.
00:07:39.000 But a lot of these guys have been around for a long time, back before Expedience.

00:07:45.000 Make sure you check them out.
00:07:48.000 Prepare for the future and diversify your savings with the Birch Gold Group.
00:07:51.000 Look, in the new year, with my father back in office, you're going to have a lot more money in your paycheck, and that means you're going to have a lot more opportunity.
00:07:59.000 To plan for the years and the decades ahead.
00:08:01.000 One way you can do that is by diversifying your portfolio into gold.
00:08:05.000 For over 20 years, Birch Gold Group has helped thousands of Americans protect an IRA or a 401k into an IRA in physical gold.
00:08:13.000 You can do that tax and penalty free, which is a big deal.
00:08:17.000 So to learn more, text DONJR to the number 989898 and claim you're free.
00:08:24.000 no obligation info kit on gold that's don jr to the number 98 98 98 what do you have to lose educate yourself check it out and we begin the news rundown in new orleans where last night my father was in attendance at the super bowl along with many other lawmakers dignitaries and yours Here was the scene as my father entered the stadium.
00:08:52.000 them check it out but Taylor Swift she was there too didn't quite get the same reception And you can see her wondering, what's going on here, guys?
00:09:15.000 What just happened?
00:09:16.000 Check it out.
00:09:17.000 Just a seismic Remember all those people sort of light manga, light patriot, don't antagonize anything?
00:09:37.000 Guess what?
00:09:38.000 The American people understand.
00:09:40.000 They understand they've been lied to.
00:09:42.000 They understand they've been gaslit.
00:09:44.000 And they're not having it anymore.
00:09:46.000 America First is back in full effect.
00:09:49.000 And the game, wow, you know, unfortunately, it was a blowout.
00:09:53.000 My young son who I brought with me, well, brought a couple of my kids, but my young son Spencer, he's 12, huge Chiefs fan.
00:10:02.000 Wasn't thrilled with what was going on.
00:10:04.000 But even at the game, I guess because it wasn't as intense as we probably liked, wouldn't have been as close as we'd have liked the scene, my father was getting work done during the game.
00:10:16.000 In the fourth quarter, he announced that he's directed the Treasury Secretary, Scott Bestin, another friend of the show, to stop producing new pennies.
00:10:27.000 Because, not shockingly, I guess, anymore, it actually cost...
00:10:31.000 Two pennies to make one penny.
00:10:34.000 It costs two cents to make a one-cent coin.
00:10:37.000 Doesn't seem like great use of funds for something especially that most people don't want to have lying around in their pockets.
00:10:44.000 We're ripping the waste out of government, quite literally, one penny.
00:10:49.000 And speaking of ripping out waste, Doge is moving forward on cleaning out the endless waste, fraud, and abuse, one agency after another.
00:11:00.000 The USAID office is now closed.
00:11:03.000 The CFPB is being wound down.
00:11:06.000 And the Department of Education is in for a major overhaul.
00:11:11.000 You know what?
00:11:12.000 I love it.
00:11:13.000 I'm here for all of it, guys.
00:11:15.000 Inject that stuff into my veins.
00:11:17.000 The Department of Education, which spends more money per student than any country in the world with disastrous results.
00:11:26.000 We're like one of the worst educated of modern countries.
00:11:29.000 Probably third world countries ahead of us in terms of how they're educating our children at a fraction of the cost.
00:11:36.000 Here's Treasury Secretary Scott Besson on how Doge is creating one of the most important audits of our lifetime.
00:11:44.000 Elon and I are completely aligned in terms of cutting waste and increasing accountability and transparency for the American people.
00:11:54.000 I believe that this DOGE program in my adult life is one of the most important audits of government or changes to government structure we have seen.
00:12:05.000 That when I was in my 20s, we had the Grace Report, and there's some great suggestions that came out of that.
00:12:13.000 Never implemented under Clinton and Gore.
00:12:17.000 I think it was to government efficiency or reduce government.
00:12:22.000 Nothing happened.
00:12:24.000 So, President Trump came in, there's a big agenda, and I think that there are gigantic cost savings for the American people here.
00:12:31.000 And I think it's unfortunate the way the media wants to lampoon what is going on.
00:12:36.000 These are highly trained professionals.
00:12:40.000 This is not some roving band going around doing things.
00:12:44.000 This is methodical, and it is going to yield big savings.
00:12:48.000 But the media, guys, whoo!
00:12:51.000 They're not happy about it.
00:12:52.000 They just continue to melt down over everything that Doge is doing.
00:12:58.000 And the team he's building, including Big Balls.
00:13:02.000 It's time, folks.
00:13:05.000 This is Trump 2.0.
00:13:06.000 It's wild.
00:13:07.000 It's effective.
00:13:08.000 And you're going to see just how bad our government has been playing with your money.
00:13:15.000 But Big Balls.
00:13:16.000 You just can't make it up.
00:13:18.000 Check this out.
00:13:19.000 Good evening.
00:13:20.000 Thanks for joining us.
00:13:21.000 We begin tonight with Musk and Big Balls.
00:13:23.000 Big Balls.
00:13:24.000 Big Balls.
00:13:25.000 Big Balls, who worked for Elon Musk's so-called Department of Government Efficiency, Doge.
00:13:29.000 In the one case of the Big Balls kid, a literal teenager.
00:13:31.000 Big Balls online.
00:13:33.000 Big Balls here that Katie's talking about.
00:13:35.000 A 19-year-old that goes by the username Big Balls.
00:13:39.000 So that would be one way that we could refer to him.
00:13:41.000 Young Computer Wizards.
00:13:42.000 Wiz is the aforementioned Big Balls.
00:13:44.000 Because who among us doesn't feel better about Big Balls?
00:13:47.000 Big balls.
00:13:48.000 Big balls in charge of American air traffic control.
00:13:52.000 And while the media melts down over every dollar that we're saving United States taxpayers, it's exactly what needs to happen if we want our government to work efficiently, effectively, and productively.
00:14:07.000 Top White House advisor Stephen Miller was asked about it yesterday, and here's how he responded.
00:14:13.000 A radical left judge said, That the Secretary of the Treasury cannot access the Treasury computer system.
00:14:23.000 This isn't just unconstitutional.
00:14:25.000 That ruling is an assault on the very idea of democracy itself.
00:14:31.000 What we continue to see here is the idea that rogue bureaucrats who are elected by no one, who answer to no one...
00:14:41.000 Who have lifetime tenured jobs, who we would be told can never be fired, which of course is not true, that the power has been cemented and accumulated for years, whether it be with the Treasury bureaucrats or the FBI bureaucrats or the CIA bureaucrats or the USAID bureaucrats, with this unelected shadow force that is running our government and running our country.
00:15:02.000 Donald Trump is engaging in the most important restoration of democracy in over a century.
00:15:10.000 By saying that we are going to restore power to the people through their elected president and his appointed officers.
00:15:18.000 That is the only way we can have true democracy in this country.
00:15:22.000 You elect a president, he appoints a staff, the staff transparently carries out his orders on behalf of the whole nation.
00:15:29.000 But this nonsense where we have...
00:15:34.000 Unelected, unaccountable, and previously unfireable bureaucrats who do whatever the hell they want with no one telling them and no one controlling them.
00:15:41.000 We're not going to let that happen anymore.
00:15:43.000 We're going to have a democracy and we're going to have an executive branch that serves the American people, that answers to the American people, and that answers the will of the American voter.
00:15:53.000 Why would anyone in government not committing fraud be against transparency and audits?
00:15:58.000 I put that up on Twitter.
00:16:00.000 I mean, it's pretty simple.
00:16:01.000 The American people simply want to know where their taxpayer dollars are going.
00:16:08.000 Audit all of it.
00:16:10.000 Expose it all.
00:16:11.000 Let the people decide.
00:16:12.000 Trying to hide it is not the way.
00:16:15.000 And frankly, if you're against that kind of transparency, if you're against those audits, you're probably in on the fraud, folks.
00:16:25.000 Those security clearances that the swamp creatures hold onto after they leave office, well, those are gone.
00:16:32.000 Why should someone working in the private sector still have access to confidential government data?
00:16:37.000 Why should they have that access?
00:16:39.000 They're gone.
00:16:41.000 My father vetoed and voted out clearances for Biden, for Blinken, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, and others.
00:16:51.000 Why would Letitia James have that kind of information?
00:16:54.000 Why did Letitia James The
00:17:27.000 way the media wants to lampoon.
00:17:31.000 Jennings on CNN the other day called my father the 80-20 president.
00:17:37.000 And his colleagues on CNN and the panel he was on just can't handle the reality.
00:17:44.000 What is currently the dumbest strategy in politics, which is Democrats taking the 20% side of every 80-20 issue in America.
00:17:52.000 USAID, people want this.
00:17:55.000 Pared down.
00:17:55.000 They want to streamline.
00:17:56.000 They want to know where the money is going.
00:17:57.000 Democrats have a meltdown.
00:17:59.000 Today, Donald Trump signs executive order on keeping boys out of girls' sports.
00:18:04.000 Democrats take the 20 side of that issue as well.
00:18:06.000 All these issues, this is like Trump's superpower.
00:18:09.000 Finding a bunch of 80-20 issues, getting on the 80, and everybody who's sort of reflexively against him gets on the 20. And now the Democratic Party has like a 31% approval rating.
00:18:18.000 This is why.
00:18:20.000 It's actually incredible to see Democrats just beside themselves on how to handle all of this.
00:18:26.000 They're taking even more absurd positions than they've been taking because I guess Trump derangement syndrome is real and they have no choice.
00:18:33.000 They just have to take these super unpopular positions.
00:18:36.000 They have to go all in on them.
00:18:38.000 We're just getting started, guys.
00:18:41.000 But first, don't forget about our brave sponsors, including a brand new sponsor, Henry Repeating Arms.
00:18:50.000 They're family-owned, made in the U.S., and they make a line of lever-action rifles, shotguns, revolvers that can't be beat.
00:18:59.000 American-made or nothing.
00:19:01.000 Their products have a lifetime guarantee, all done with first-class customer service.
00:19:06.000 There's options and solutions for everyone and every reason, including...
00:19:10.000 Hunters, outdoorsmen, home and land defense, women, youth, and even collectors.
00:19:15.000 I have a bunch of them.
00:19:17.000 My kids grew up shooting a bunch of the Henry Lever 22s.
00:19:21.000 Just awesome stuff.
00:19:23.000 And this is a company that shares your values.
00:19:26.000 Giving back to our military veterans, first responders, and organizations that support.
00:19:31.000 Our Second Amendment rights.

00:19:37.000 Just go to HenryUSA.com and click on Free Catalog.
00:19:41.000 Pretty simple.
00:19:41.000 You'll be glad you did if you support a great American company that believes what we believe in, and you'll have a good time in the process.
00:19:50.000 So with that, guys, joining me now, author of The Disappearing President, investigative reporter Lee Smith.
00:19:58.000 Lee, great to be back with you, man.
00:19:59.000 How you doing?
00:20:00.000 Hey Don, thanks very much for having me on today.
00:20:01.000 I appreciate it.
00:20:02.000 Oh, it's my pleasure.
00:20:03.000 It's my pleasure.
00:20:04.000 So, thanks for coming back.
00:20:06.000 But first off, you know, we're now starting to understand the entire apparatus of left-wing activism in this country.
00:20:14.000 It was basically propped up by USAID. As we dig deeper, we're now learning that USAID money was getting into the hands of Hamas.
00:20:22.000 In some ways, it's just...
00:20:24.000 A giant smoke and mirrors operation, something like we've never seen before that we're ultimately paying for with no transparency and no visibility.
00:20:32.000 What do you think's the next chapter in this story?
00:20:35.000 I know we've been talking about it a lot, but it feels like every day new stuff is coming up and like just more ridiculous than the day before.
00:20:42.000 It's hard to believe.
00:20:43.000 Well, it's very shameful what they did, what the left did to USAID, because, of course, this was an agency that was set up in 1961 by John F. Kennedy, and it was set up to help the United States beat the Soviet Union, to fight communism around the world.
00:21:00.000 And so that was certainly a noble purpose.
00:21:02.000 But what happened is, effectively, the communists in the United States took it over and they started funding their leftist allies, most significantly in the United States, but also around the world.
00:21:15.000 So it's shameful.
00:21:17.000 It's shameful and it's proved deadly to the United States.
00:21:20.000 What we're going to find out, I'm afraid, is that it's not just USAID, but in fact, every agency that the left managed to take possession of that they turned to their own advantage.
00:21:31.000 And, you know, one of the things that we're seeing now, of course, is even a place like National Archives, right, which was a fundamental part of the setup.
00:21:40.000 It was the key.
00:21:42.000 Right, to the setup to go after your father on that so-called classified documents case.
00:21:47.000 So that was National Archives.
00:21:49.000 And that kind of stuff is going on at the National Archives.
00:21:51.000 You can bet it's gone on in every single agency across the government.
00:21:55.000 We're going to find it at the Pentagon.
00:21:57.000 We're going to find it at the CIA. We're going to find it certainly at the State Department.
00:22:02.000 We're going to find it at the FBI. So all of the people who are coming in, all of the heads of these agencies and bureaus, from John Ratcliffe to Cash Patel to Marco Rubio, have their work cut out for them.
00:22:13.000 I mean, people knew, Cash knew, that he had a lot of work going in at the FBI. I think that some of these other people are going to be surprised to find out what it's going to take to wrest control from these animals on the left, at home and abroad, and make these...
00:22:30.000 Very important institutions, once again, serve the American public.
00:22:35.000 Yeah, no, it's wild for me watching it.
00:22:37.000 I'm saying, you know, the same people that wanted to bring in 80,000 armed IRS agents to audit your $600 Venmo account have no interest in auditing anything else.
00:22:48.000 Now, somehow it's a threat to democracy to find out where your taxpayer dollars are going.
00:22:52.000 I mean, the irony of that is, I mean, it's impressive even by their standards.
00:22:57.000 Well, I'd forgotten about the IRS. I'd forgotten about that.
00:23:00.000 But that's a very good point.
00:23:01.000 I mean, right up there with archives, I mean, you know, with national archives, if they wanted to turn that institution into a citadel for the left, and of course, we already know how it's targeted, how it's targeted the right, how it's targeted Republican NGOs, the IRS. But you're absolutely right.
00:23:17.000 That just shows you how deep the rod is.
00:23:20.000 And while your father and his administration are pushing forward.
00:23:24.000 To make America great again, they're going to have to spend some time looking backward as well.
00:23:30.000 That's one of the important things, I think, about the Department of Government Efficiency and Elon Musk's work, that they can look back, get the documents, get the records, and say, this is ridiculous.
00:23:40.000 We have to fix this so our people, so our government can move forward and serve us, which is what your father, of course, was elected to do, clean up the garbage from the past.
00:23:54.000 Well, you know, the Doge team now says that the Department of Education is next, then the Pentagon.
00:24:00.000 The Defense Department has not been able to pass an audit for, what, seven years, seven times, whatever it may be.
00:24:06.000 But it has received another funding increase for the fiscal year 2025, bringing its total budget to more than $900 billion, almost a trillion dollars.
00:24:17.000 All the books you've written sort of underpin the point that we have departments that have grown so big they subvert the will of the president and his administration and all the people who clearly voted for a mandate of change.
00:24:30.000 That all seems to be changing now.
00:24:32.000 But, you know, do you think that goes as smoothly as we'd like?
00:24:35.000 No, and people are going to fight this.
00:24:36.000 I mean, we know, and, you know, it's been a joke, a dark joke for ages about how much waste there is at the Pentagon, but we're also going to find out there.
00:24:47.000 I mean, I know for a fact, for instance, that the Pentagon funded training of Palestinian forces full of a whole bunch of anti-American and anti-Israeli terrorists.
00:24:59.000 So this is, you know, this is...
00:25:01.000 At least as bad as what USAID was doing.
00:25:04.000 I mean, USAID transferred billions effectively to Hamas.
00:25:08.000 But the fact that the Pentagon was training these people in Judea and Samaria.
00:25:12.000 So we're going to find really bad stuff at the Pentagon.
00:25:14.000 Of course, we're going to find absolutely terrible stuff at the Department of Education, which is clear to all of us now after COVID. And school parents around the country saw what their kids were learning.
00:25:25.000 That's what the Department of Education has been funding.
00:25:27.000 So again, it's going to be everywhere.
00:25:30.000 And for people over the last week who have lost their minds seeing how bad it is over at USAID, I hope they buckle in because it's going to get considerably worse.
00:25:43.000 Yeah, if you don't want transparency to the American taxpayer who funds all of these things, you're probably in on the fraud.
00:25:50.000 That seems pretty obvious.
00:25:51.000 You mentioned sort of Israel and what's going on there now.
00:25:54.000 What are your thoughts on everything happening in Gaza?
00:25:56.000 That was another outrage cycle that we faced last week, and it took about 12 hours, I guess, for Egypt and Jordan to step in and be like, no, no, no, it's okay, we'll rebuild Gaza.
00:26:05.000 It's sort of amazing.
00:26:06.000 What's your take on everything that's going on there?
00:26:08.000 Well, I'll just start by, you know, this morning I saw, you know, I saw what your father said yesterday on his way across the Gulf of America, what he said on Air Force One about how, you know, watching the prisoners get released and it looked like pictures from the Holocaust.
00:26:25.000 And he said, you know, I'm going to lose my patience at some point.
00:26:27.000 I don't know how much longer I can take it.
00:26:29.000 And I have to say, I know I'm not alone as an American seeing a president.
00:26:35.000 Seeing our leader respond emotionally to something so sinister and so dark, you know, he acted like a man, right?
00:26:43.000 Like a regular human being saying, this is horrible and this is disgusting.
00:26:47.000 And so, you know, again, I know I'm not alone saying how proud I am that he's president for him to respond like that, because it is, it's horrible, it's sinister.
00:26:56.000 It takes us back to very, very dark moments in our history.
00:27:02.000 I think he's been very clear about what's happened.
00:27:04.000 I know there's some confusion, and that's because the media, of course, is trying to cloud what your father's been very clear about.
00:27:12.000 And unfortunately, even some administration officials have clouded the message a bit.
00:27:18.000 And the message, as far as I can understand it, is simply this, is that Gaza will be evacuated of Gazans, not just Tamas.
00:27:28.000 1.7 million people, however many it is, they're going to go.
00:27:32.000 Jordan and Egypt will take some.
00:27:34.000 Your father continues to insist, no matter how much the Egyptians and Jordanians, both US allies and both get a tremendous amount of American money, how much they complain, but that Jordan and Egypt will take the Gazans and other countries may take some too.
00:27:50.000 But that small strip of land will become under the possession of the United States.
00:27:59.000 And I think the whole Plan, as the Prime Minister of Israel was saying, is creative.
00:28:07.000 It's creative, and it's thoughtful, and it's a way to...
00:28:12.000 It's a way to bring peace to the region.
00:28:15.000 It's a way to serve American interests.
00:28:18.000 It's a way to serve the interests of our allies.
00:28:21.000 And so again, so there's the emotional stuff, your father recognizing the ugliness, but also saying, how do we get out of this insane thing that's been happening here for decades?
00:28:32.000 The American people are sick of it.
00:28:34.000 Our true allies around the world are sick of this kind of violence.
00:28:37.000 And so your father's come up with an answer, and I think it's great.
00:28:42.000 What will happen with Gaza?
00:28:43.000 I can imagine a whole bunch of different possibilities.
00:28:46.000 I mean, your father might turn it into a resort.
00:28:51.000 He's talked about what terrific real estate is.
00:28:54.000 It's right on the ocean, the Mediterranean Ocean.
00:28:57.000 The Eastern Mediterranean is beautiful.
00:28:59.000 It might become that.
00:29:00.000 It might become, who knows, it might become something of a strong place.
00:29:03.000 The Eastern Mediterranean is a vital waterway, vital to American strategic interest.
00:29:09.000 It might become something like a base.
00:29:11.000 We don't know yet.
00:29:12.000 But again, I think it's just, it's historic.
00:29:17.000 And I'm so happy that your father has seen this, has come up with a solution that was beyond the, not only beyond the imagination, but beyond the grasp of most people for so long.
00:29:32.000 So again, I think that's something else that's really exciting.
00:29:35.000 Here's how.
00:29:36.000 Donald Trump is pushing forward, pushing ahead, not being hemmed in by the deep state, by the media, by bureaucrats who have a lot at stake in these corrupt policies.
00:29:47.000 So it's really impressive and really inspiring.
00:29:51.000 Yeah, no, it's pretty amazing to watch.
00:29:52.000 And then, you know, again, the outrage cycle.
00:29:54.000 By the time they get outraged about something, they're on to three other things.
00:29:57.000 I mean, their foot is so on the gas, it feels like the media can't even keep up with what they're supposed to be outraged about, whatever, even if they all make total sense.
00:30:04.000 You know, that part of it's sort of amazing.
00:30:06.000 They just can't get ahead of the narrative.
00:30:08.000 I think that's a great point.
00:30:09.000 I mean, remember what happened during your father's first term when Andrew McCabe was, you know, Andrew McCabe was left the FBI and everyone, so all the media and all the bureaucrats, they focus on Andrew McCabe.
00:30:23.000 How do we protect Andrew McCabe?
00:30:24.000 How do we protect John Brennan?
00:30:25.000 How do we protect so-and-so and so-and-so?
00:30:27.000 If you just keep going, right, if you just keep going and if you go in huge numbers and you go that quickly, right, they can't defend it.
00:30:34.000 Because they don't know what they're defending.
00:30:36.000 There's just too much going on.
00:30:37.000 For instance, there's been so much else going on.
00:30:41.000 No one has really attacked the president yet for naming this, again, a very important waterway.
00:30:51.000 The Gulf of America.
00:30:53.000 No one said anything about it because there's so many other things going on.
00:30:56.000 And if that was the only thing he was doing, of course, people would be losing their minds.
00:31:00.000 There would be protests all around the country.
00:31:02.000 How dare you name this body of waterway on America's border, the Gulf of America.
00:31:07.000 But no one's had a chance to say anything about it.
00:31:10.000 Well, you mentioned sort of Brennan and McCabe, obviously big sort of players in, you know, the Russia hoax.
00:31:15.000 You actually wrote another book called The Permanent Coup.
00:31:18.000 What we seem to be uncovering is that the Russia hoax, the impeachment hoax, all of the other abuses could not have happened with groups like USAID. And again, all of these other NGOs, just a way of taking taxpayer money and basically eliminating the accountability.
00:31:35.000 It's actually quite chilling.
00:31:38.000 The call was always coming from inside the house.
00:31:41.000 It was happening right there this whole time.
00:31:43.000 What do you think?
00:31:45.000 We can do to keep that going, to keep the change.
00:31:49.000 Is it just the exposure?
00:31:50.000 Is that enough?
00:31:50.000 Do people get it enough that they can that they can end it?
00:31:53.000 Or do you have to do that with legislation?
00:31:56.000 You know, where do you think it goes?
00:31:57.000 I think exposure is important.
00:31:59.000 I think legislation is important.
00:32:01.000 The executive orders are important.
00:32:04.000 You know, but another thing, and this is why this is why it's this is why Attorney General.
00:32:09.000 It was such an important appointment because, you know, you need the DOJ on your side fighting all this stuff.
00:32:15.000 And that's going to be really important as we're going to see as the deportation campaign moves further along.
00:32:21.000 As stuff like election integrity, all of these different things, the DOJ has to fight these on behalf of the American people, right?
00:32:29.000 On behalf of your father's administration.
00:32:32.000 And so far, I think that...
00:32:35.000 From my understanding, DOJ lawyers have been doing a tremendous job.
00:32:39.000 So as long as everyone is in line and pushing forward, I'm very optimistic about the next four years that this is going to keep going on in the same way.
00:32:51.000 And again, people are both elated that this is happening, and they're a little despondent as well that this has been going on for decades, and they're finding out now how much, you know.
00:33:01.000 How much of their money was spent on this?
00:33:04.000 Again, not just nonsense, not just...
00:33:07.000 Promoting, you know, transgender comic books in Peru or Chile, wherever it was.
00:33:13.000 But how much of it has been used for very dangerous and very destructive causes that really affect Americans and our allies as well.
00:33:22.000 So, you know, people are really rattled by this.
00:33:26.000 Yeah, I think you make a really good point about the DOJ. They have to be so involved.
00:33:29.000 I was with AG. Pam Bondi last night at the Super Bowl, and it's great to see what she's doing, but you're right.
00:33:36.000 You saw this judge that basically said, hey, the Secretary of the Treasury isn't allowed to look at things inside a Treasury.
00:33:42.000 I'm like, wait a minute.
00:33:44.000 The CFO of America isn't allowed to look at the books.
00:33:50.000 Obviously, it's an activist judge, but these are the kinds of things they're going to throw at you to try to slow you down, try to delay it.
00:33:56.000 It's a waiting tactic.
00:33:57.000 See what they can do.
00:33:59.000 you know, keep it going as long as they possibly can and or put up whatever roadblocks that they can, that they can bring it back as quickly as, you know, if Trump's not at the helm anymore. - They're gonna fight the whole way down And this is something very important to remember, because it's been relatively peaceful.
00:34:14.000 There was stuff that I thought that we were going to see.
00:34:18.000 And I think we may still see some of that at some point, but there's no doubt they're going to fight going down the entire way.
00:34:24.000 And that's why it's so important.
00:34:25.000 I mean, remember what happened?
00:34:27.000 There was the travel ban that your father implemented right when he came to office in 2016, and courts across the country fought him on that.
00:34:36.000 And it appeared to me at the time he did not have enough support from DOJ. And look at how important that travel ban is to keep out bad people.
00:34:46.000 Or potentially bad people that we have no information about from their countries of origin.
00:34:52.000 I mean, just a reasonable, common sense policy.
00:34:56.000 Hey, we don't know who these people are that the Iraqis are sending here because they don't keep good information.
00:35:02.000 So no, we can't accept them into our country.
00:35:04.000 They may cause trouble here.
00:35:06.000 We know nothing about them.
00:35:07.000 Just common sense like that.
00:35:09.000 And they fought all the way down.
00:35:12.000 It's wild to watch it.
00:35:13.000 I mean, you know, hey, you know, they basically effectively have the border almost shut down entirely.
00:35:19.000 And it's like we were told for so long, hey, we're doing this.
00:35:21.000 We were told, as you're talking about, whether it's the Iraqi or Afghan refugees, that they were all vetted.
00:35:26.000 Turns out that was a lie.
00:35:27.000 We've just been lied to for far too long.
00:35:30.000 One of the things that I didn't know about until your father started making a point, I mean, we all knew what was going on at the southern border, but I had no idea it was that bad on the northern border as well.
00:35:40.000 Like the amount of fentanyl that's been coming across, the amount of illegal aliens that have been crossing in the north as well.
00:35:47.000 So, I mean, there's just going to be different policies and different initiatives.
00:35:51.000 And then there's going to be just different things that your father says that's going to shine a light on different things.
00:35:56.000 And we're going to learn, we're going to learn.
00:35:59.000 A lot about the bad things that people who were supposed to serve and protect this country did to damage and hurt the country.
00:36:08.000 But again, I think that all Americans should be excited, whether or not they voted for your father, should be excited that we're getting our country back.
00:36:19.000 Yeah, I mean, we're now actually cutting pennies, literally and figuratively, because, you know, it costs two to three cents to make something that costs one cent that almost no one uses anymore.
00:36:28.000 I mean, again, just common sense.
00:36:31.000 But the Empire does strike back, to use sort of the Star Wars analogy.
00:36:35.000 What do you think that looks like, right?
00:36:37.000 The swamp is deep.
00:36:38.000 The swamp has teeth.
00:36:40.000 They're not just going to go away because, frankly, this is the only way they know how to make a living, and they've made a damn good living for themselves at the expense of the American people.
00:36:48.000 We've seen the leaking of information, doxing some of these young guys on Doge teams.
00:36:53.000 Remember, we're told a 22-year-old computer scientist can't possibly have this kind of information or this kind of clout, but we're supposed to listen to Greta Thunberg being one of the great climatologists of all time.
00:37:06.000 We've seen that.
00:37:07.000 I mean, they're literally doxing people.
00:37:09.000 They're doxing information about potential ICE raids.
00:37:12.000 Where do you think this all goes?
00:37:14.000 Well, I mean, I think we're also going to see fights in the cities.
00:37:17.000 I mean, different, you know, I mean, blue cities.
00:37:19.000 I mean, this is unfortunately where we are right now in America.
00:37:22.000 But a lot of these blue cities and even some states entirely are run by lunatics.
00:37:27.000 So I think they're going to fight very hard.
00:37:29.000 I think they're going to fight them because the deportation campaign, I really think, goes to the heart of the Democrats, certainly their election strategy, right?
00:37:37.000 One of the reasons that the borders have been opened is to backfill all these different places, like whether it's California, whether it's New York, all these people, so many millions of people left during COVID and they went to normal places like Florida, like Texas.
00:37:54.000 So they're going to lose electoral seats or they're going to lose congressional seats.
00:37:59.000 They're going to lose electoral college votes.
00:38:02.000 So this is really important.
00:38:04.000 Democrats do not want to lose these.
00:38:06.000 And of course, they can't win on their own ideas because they're insane.
00:38:09.000 So they need clients.
00:38:12.000 I think the deportation campaign is going to be crucial, and that's really the place, I think, where the Democrats are going to start focusing most of their energies, especially with these sanctuary cities.
00:38:23.000 Now, of course, you know, your father has a lot of very important instruments, including the fact that, you know, we can just not fund that, you know, not fund what they're doing, not fund sanctuary cities.
00:38:34.000 But again, that's going to be fought in the courts, and I certainly hope not, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it fought in the streets as well.
00:38:40.000 Because again, if they're already making...
00:38:42.000 Look at what they're doing by leaking this information about the ICE raids.
00:38:46.000 They're making it not just difficult, but very dangerous for federal law enforcement officers.
00:38:54.000 Tipping off people about these different raids, that makes it extremely dangerous for law enforcement.
00:38:59.000 So again, I wouldn't be surprised by anything they do.
00:39:04.000 And again, I say this not to alarm people, but just so we're looking ahead, violence wouldn't surprise me at all.
00:39:12.000 Yeah, we certainly hope not, but they're definitely trying to do that, right?
00:39:17.000 I mean, there's no other logical explanation for it.
00:39:21.000 I think the one thing they're perhaps missing, someone wrote about it on Twitter, I sort of replied back about one of Trump's superpowers is basically finding an 80-20 issue and then just going all in on the 80 and...
00:39:33.000 Essentially forcing the Democrats, because in Trump derangement syndrome, they have no choice but to basically take the opposite of anything he does, even if he's like, hey, the sky is blue, now it's some other shade.
00:39:45.000 It's crazy to see it, but it is sort of magical, because the American people are like, wait a minute, why don't we just do that?
00:39:52.000 It's common sense.
00:39:53.000 They have not learned a single lesson, I don't think, in terms of the Democrat Party and where they are in terms of leadership.
00:39:58.000 Well, I think this is a very important thing, and it's worrisome because we have to remember that...
00:40:06.000 Your father won the popular vote as well, but Kamala Harris still cashed in.
00:40:12.000 I'm not sure all of them were on the natch, but she still cashed in more than 70 million votes, and that's a concern.
00:40:18.000 We still have some work to do here to convince people, to convince our neighbors, family members, or whatever.
00:40:26.000 We want our country back.
00:40:28.000 We want our borders up.
00:40:29.000 We want to be protected.
00:40:30.000 We want our beautiful cities.
00:40:32.000 Again, there's another great thing about I'm a New Yorker too, like you guys.
00:40:38.000 And so the way your father speaks about New York, I'm like, yeah, please save New York.
00:40:42.000 Please get New York back.
00:40:44.000 And we have to convince our friends from New York who are still there, how do we...
00:40:49.000 How do we save our great American cities?
00:40:51.000 How do we convince people like, no, don't let crime run rampant.
00:40:55.000 You don't have to live like this.
00:40:57.000 Subway doesn't have to be like trench warfare.
00:41:02.000 Well, you don't have to spend $59 million to house illegal immigrants in luxury hotels in New York either.
00:41:08.000 Just, you know, minor details.
00:41:10.000 We can't take care of people that are flood victims in North Carolina.
00:41:13.000 Who knows what's going on in California after the fires, but we have almost $60 million and who knows how much more.
00:41:19.000 That's just in New York City.
00:41:20.000 It does not seem like great use of taxpayer funds.
00:41:23.000 No, and that's what we need to remind people of.
00:41:25.000 Say, hey, don't you want better education for your children?
00:41:29.000 Wouldn't you like to have a police officer walk in a beat in your neighborhood?
00:41:33.000 Don't you want to be able to cross Brooklyn Bridge at night on a date, your first date?
00:41:39.000 Walk hands, cross Brooklyn Bridge at midnight.
00:41:43.000 That's the way New York City should be.
00:41:45.000 That's the way all these places should be.
00:41:48.000 To continue to work on our friends and neighbors say, don't you want a normal life in America?
00:41:54.000 Don't you want, you know, don't you want America to be a great place and your cities and your communities to be great places?
00:42:00.000 So you talk about the left and the left loses their mind.
00:42:03.000 Yeah, people have to learn that that is the path toward death and literally death and destruction.
00:42:10.000 Yeah, I spent the last three days in New Orleans and it was sort of interesting.
00:42:15.000 That's not exactly a bastion of conservatism or that kind of thought, but the amount of people, you know, locals, regular workers, restaurant people, the janitors at the Super Bowl, I mean, running up to me and taking selfies.
00:42:26.000 I mean, there is a cultural shift.
00:42:28.000 There are people that would have never voted for Trump before that are actually...
00:42:33.000 Waking up to what's going on.
00:42:35.000 I mean, listen, I'm not often shocked anymore.
00:42:38.000 I can understand it.
00:42:39.000 But it was, like, overwhelming.
00:42:41.000 Again, whether it was that guy or whether it was me going to one of the more, you know, fancy sort of, you know, Super Bowl-type parties and young rappers coming up and taking selfies.
00:42:49.000 I mean, it was across the board, the full spectrum, you know, socioeconomics.
00:42:54.000 It was a seismic shift.
00:42:57.000 I mean, even I was shocked.
00:42:58.000 At just how sort of well received some of this stuff is with regular people.
00:43:03.000 Again, you'll never hear about it on the mainstream media.
00:43:05.000 They'll just pretend those things aren't even happening.
00:43:08.000 But it's very real.
00:43:09.000 I mean, I think you saw, you know, frankly, what happened in the Super Bowl with Trump versus even a Taylor Swift or whatever it was.
00:43:15.000 She's like, wait, what just happened?
00:43:17.000 I'm getting booed in a stadium of 100,000 people.
00:43:19.000 Like, what's going on here?
00:43:21.000 I think people are getting it.
00:43:23.000 I mean, I think so, too, because.
00:43:27.000 Because it's not just what your father says and stands for because of the results, right?
00:43:32.000 I mean, people are seeing results.
00:43:34.000 I mean, for instance, I saw, you know, well, what?
00:43:37.000 I mean, I think they had the recruiting ad for the Army during the Super Bowl, right?
00:43:41.000 I mean, it's like, wow, okay, that's different.
00:43:43.000 This seems back to the future, I guess is a good way to put it.
00:43:49.000 And so people are seeing results, you know, and that's what people want.
00:43:54.000 It's like, yeah, get our money back.
00:43:56.000 Do something good with it.
00:43:58.000 I mean, this whole idea of a sovereign wealth fund, I mean, that's another possibility for Gaza.
00:44:03.000 I mean, okay, so we'll turn it into a resort, and that'll go into the sovereign wealth fund.
00:44:08.000 I have no idea.
00:44:10.000 But yeah, but I think that that's what it is, telling people what you're going to do for them, how you're going to improve their lives, and then they see it, they see it this quickly, and with this kind of character.
00:44:23.000 Oh, no, people are...
00:44:25.000 All around, people are starting to wake up.
00:44:29.000 Yeah, and I mean, it was going on even before, you know, January 20th.
00:44:32.000 It was going on in December when the military had its highest, or I guess the army specifically, had the highest recruitment numbers they've had in...
00:44:41.000 A really long time.
00:44:42.000 Only to be broken by the recruitment numbers in January.
00:44:46.000 Like, it's, wow.
00:44:47.000 Patriots are back.
00:44:48.000 They're willing to do this because they understand they're no longer going to be in a system where, hey, if you're a patriotic guy, maybe you're a conservative or whatever, you're not going to be put in a box.
00:44:56.000 You can actually do that.
00:44:58.000 You have a chance to excel.
00:44:59.000 You have a chance to actually win, not just because you check off a couple other boxes that some lunatic woke activist is putting in place.
00:45:08.000 Remember how they rationalized it before?
00:45:11.000 They were saying, oh, recruitment's down because kids aren't patriotic and because actually kids are out of shape.
00:45:16.000 So all of a sudden, over the course of a month and a half, 18-year-olds got in a lot better shape.
00:45:21.000 So now they're in the Army and Navy and Marine Corps.
00:45:26.000 No, I mean, of course, those kids were always there.
00:45:29.000 And what they wanted to fight was they wanted to fight.
00:45:30.000 They wanted to serve and protect their country, their neighborhoods, their families.
00:45:35.000 And, you know, and now that they know that that's the purpose of the armed forces, so they're back in the numbers that we'd expect them to be back.
00:45:43.000 Americans love the country and they love a leader who exemplifies that same love of the country.
00:45:49.000 Lee, how would you describe the Trump doctrine?
00:45:52.000 And perhaps where do you think your next book and your next investigation are gonna take you? - Well, actually, I'm writing a book on China right now.
00:46:00.000 And your father, it's not really about China.
00:46:05.000 It's not really about China.
00:46:07.000 What the book is about is it's about how U.S. elites have sold our country out to China for decades.
00:46:13.000 And I got the chance to speak to your father a little bit about this.
00:46:18.000 And the amazing thing is your father, like, as with so many things, he was the one who really pointed it out.
00:46:23.000 The book starts with a line from him saying, I've taught people a lot about China.
00:46:27.000 And that's true.
00:46:28.000 And so you see, in some ways, we talk about USAID. We talk about the other sources of corruption.
00:46:33.000 China has been an enormous source of corruption here in the United States.
00:46:38.000 The way, again, that our elites, our establishment has sold us out to make money while empowering the Chinese Communist Party.
00:46:45.000 So I'm looking a little more into foreign policy rather than just domestic policy, foreign policy.
00:46:51.000 I think this is a very important part of your father's doctrine.
00:46:54.000 Your father is not someone who wants to wander into pointless wars, but I think it's very important for people to understand because a lot of people...
00:47:03.000 Praise him, saying, well, he didn't start any new wars.
00:47:07.000 And that's great.
00:47:08.000 But the most important thing about his foreign policy, and the reason he didn't start any new wars, is because he projects strength, right?
00:47:17.000 Through military, economic, diplomatic, and political means.
00:47:20.000 The United States is a superpower.
00:47:23.000 We have lots of ways to project power.
00:47:25.000 And that's what your father has done.
00:47:27.000 And that's what he did during his first four years.
00:47:30.000 And that's what I expect him to do now as well.
00:47:33.000 And as he's described the threats, the foreign threats facing America, he's described China, number one, Russia and Iran.
00:47:41.000 And so that's what I expect him to be focusing on.
00:47:44.000 And that, again, is what's so important about his...
00:47:47.000 His insight into the Middle East crisis, Hamas being an Iranian asset and saying, okay, this is not good for our allies and this is not good for American interests around the world.
00:48:01.000 But again, China is very important.
00:48:05.000 And again, your father was the first president to turn this around, to even look at it and say, China's a problem for us.
00:48:12.000 It's a problem for our people.
00:48:13.000 So I expect...
00:48:15.000 I expect a lot of important work from him and his administration on China over the next several years.
00:48:23.000 Yeah, it's amazing what you can do when you actually utilize all the tools at your disposal, when you're capable of doing that, using your economic might.
00:48:32.000 It's just incredible to see it all coming into play.
00:48:35.000 So Lee Smith, thank you so much.
00:48:37.000 Appreciate you being here, as always.
00:48:38.000 And I look forward to seeing your book on China.
00:48:41.000 Thanks, Don.
