Actress Susan Sarandon takes a moment to mock the NYPD after a funeral for a slain NYPD detective. She likens the actions of the NYPD to fascism and calls them "fascism." This is just the latest in a long line of anti-police sentiment from Hollywood and the left. It's time to wake up and wake up to the fact that this is a symptom of a larger problem, which is that cops are underpaid, overworked, underpaid and over-represented in Hollywood. Don't let them keep you safe in their bubble. Don't allow them to be safe in your bubble. And while your neighborhoods are going to hell in a handbasket, do not let them live in their bubbles. Don t let them have the luxury of being safe in a bubble, because they are living in a world where they care less about your safety and more about their own comfort and well-being than you do about theirs. This is a wake-up call to all of us, and it's a wake up call that needs to be heard and not just in Hollywood, but in the streets of our communities across the country and the rest of the country. I'm glad the NYC PBA is standing up for our own police officers, and I hope this sends a message to all the other cops out there who are getting screwed over by the liberal establishment.
