00:14:09.000 Well, listen, y'all, there is no better place to kick off the new era of American greatness than right here, right now on the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
00:14:20.000 Let's go.
00:14:23.000 Iowa is the backbone of America, and there is a reason for that.
00:14:29.000 It is the small towns.
00:14:30.000 It is the hearts of the people who live here who power our nation.
00:14:35.000 Iowa feeds America.
00:14:41.000 Iowa, Iowa, you fuel America.
00:14:47.000 And Iowa will always be the beating heart of America.
00:14:55.000 Our American Revolution was fought for many causes, all under the banner of liberty.
00:15:01.000 But central among them was this, the preservation of a people who work the land, who love their families, who take pride in our country and our flag, and place their trust not in the government, but in our Almighty God.
00:15:23.000 This is the foundation of our greatness, a greatness that is being restored by a leader we love and who loves you, President Donald J. Trump.
00:15:39.000 President Trump never forgets that it is this state, that it is all of you, that it is Iowans who helped send him back to the White House for this, the most historic second term of our lifetimes.
00:15:55.000 And this is why he fought for Iowa farmers in the one big, beautiful bill, which unleashes economic rural prosperity by providing the largest working and middle class tax cut in history and saving your family farms from the crippling death tax.
00:16:20.000 Listen, y'all, I am not from the great state of Iowa.
00:16:24.000 I am a daughter of Texas's farms and small towns.
00:16:29.000 Got a few Texans here.
00:16:31.000 I was just a small town FFA kid growing up bailing hay in racing barrels in the tiny town of 1200 in Glen Rose, Texas.
00:16:41.000 But it is there where I learned the virtues that run deep through America's heartland.
00:16:48.000 And that American way of life of hard work and self-sufficiency, of grit and of grace, of faith and of family, is not some creation that came about by accident.
00:17:00.000 It is the deliberate consequence of the great American founding itself.
00:17:06.000 It is the creation of the founders and the expression of liberty and of freedom.
00:17:12.000 The founders knew that the culture of entrepreneurship, of independence, of self-reliance, of risk, and of community that characterized the farming life and our farmers was indispensable to the new American republic.
00:17:27.000 No agriculture, no farms meant no liberty.
00:17:31.000 It was simple then and it is that simple now.
00:17:35.000 Iowa and the whole agriculture way of life is therefore both part of the American experiment and a signal of its true success.
00:17:45.000 The men who sacrificed themselves upon the altar of freedom at Lexington and Concord 250 years ago did so so that this nation could exist now.
00:17:59.000 If they could see it, and I believe they do still see it, they would say it was all worth it.
00:18:05.000 That connection with history and purpose is important now more than ever because we have, for the first time in a generation, a president of the United States who understands it and embodies it.
00:18:25.000 President Donald Trump is American in ways the founders would immediately understand and in ways that the pioneers who tamed this former wilderness would have instantly recognized.
00:18:38.000 He is American in ways that Iowans absolutely understand.
00:18:43.000 So much, so much that he won the hearts and minds of Iowans and Americans not once, not twice, but three times.
00:19:00.000 And now that you have brought him back to the White House again, he is delivering on his promises.
00:19:05.000 Inflation, the cost of goods is down.
00:19:10.000 Our border is secure.
00:19:15.000 Our partners across the world are negotiating again for great trade deals for our farmers and our ranchers.
00:19:25.000 And the world, the world is returning to peace once again.
00:19:33.000 And by the way, did y'all hear that the cost of eggs is a little bit down?
00:19:41.000 President Trump's Americanness expresses itself in his agenda.
00:19:45.000 As his Secretary of Agriculture, I can tell you firsthand that his passion for American farmers, for American ranchers, for our rural America is unmatched.
00:19:56.000 And we have the joy of keeping up with him in that respect.
00:20:01.000 And everyone knows that he is explicit and unashamed in putting America first, in defending American jobs, in defending the American border, in defending the American heartland, in defending the American farmer, and in defending the American dream.
00:20:28.000 It's been almost exactly one year since that fateful day in Butler, Pennsylvania, when the world stood still.
00:20:38.000 It is the most uncommon thing in the world to be shot and then to rise and to tell the shocked and terrified crowd to fight, to fight, to fight, to fight, to fight, to never give up for this country.
00:20:58.000 But it is also the most American thing.
00:21:01.000 I mentioned Lexington and Concord and there's something in that record of the American Revolution we commemorate now, today, that we must never forget.
00:21:09.000 Lexington was an American loss.
00:21:11.000 Concord was an American victory.
00:21:14.000 But the battle records soon after were more losses than wins for a very long time.
00:21:21.000 The Revolution didn't end because of it, because those Americans knew the important thing was to fight.
00:21:28.000 President Trump knows it too.
00:21:30.000 And when you fight, sometimes you win, sometimes you don't.
00:21:35.000 But if you keep fighting and God is on your side, you always win.
00:21:41.000 Thank you.
00:21:47.000 Tomorrow is the anniversary of our formal independence, the final 4th of July before the grand celebration.
00:21:57.000 At Granger, we have over 1 million products, including the ones that help keep your workplace safe.
00:22:04.000 Tomorrow.
00:22:05.000 It's worth the celebration, but never forget that for independence to be declared, the people themselves had to embrace liberty and had to see themselves as masters of the new continent.
00:22:17.000 John Adams said the revolution was not won on the battlefield alone.
00:22:22.000 It was also won in the hearts and the minds of our people.
00:22:26.000 And it is those hearts and minds to which this president fights and appeals and which this great state of Iowa and our farmers and our ranchers embody so well.
00:22:36.000 Your lives, your homes, your families, your faith is the true testament to American independence.
00:22:44.000 Independence, after all, is not a one-time act.
00:22:46.000 It must be won again.
00:22:48.000 It must be won again and again, and it must be won again.
00:22:51.000 And every generation proving itself deserving of the heritage that it receives.
00:22:57.000 Y'all, we will have a celebration worthy of the anniversary across this entire next year.
00:23:04.000 We are pulling out all the stops to celebrate 250 years of American greatness, and President Trump's very special announcement that is coming very, very quickly here to you tonight in Iowa will let you know exactly what we're doing.
00:23:21.000 Just this morning, I announced that we will have in August the biggest, most amazing American farmers market in the history of our country in Washington on the National Mall.
00:23:36.000 And tonight, I want to invite all of you, every farmer, every rancher, every producer from every state who sell their beautiful crops and their products and their pork and their beef, to join us in Washington one day from, one month from today during National Farmers Market Week.
00:23:54.000 But let me finish with this.
00:23:56.000 We are honored to call the greatest country in the history of the world our home.
00:24:02.000 President Trump would be the first to tell you, love your country.
00:24:07.000 He would be the first to tell you that love America first.
00:24:11.000 When you look around and all of you patriots that are here, you can feel the love.
00:24:16.000 You can feel the spirit of patriotism in the air.
00:24:20.000 It is that same spirit that won our independence.
00:24:24.000 And it is that same spirit that moved the first farmer to sink the first plow into Iowa's beautiful, rich earth.
00:24:33.000 Tonight, I'm reminded of another great Iowan, 24-year-old Martin Treptoe.
00:24:40.000 He worked as a barber in northwest Iowa before deploying to France during World War I. Before he gave his life for his country during that war, he wrote in his diary that, America must win this war.
00:24:57.000 Therefore, I will work.
00:24:59.000 I will save.
00:25:00.000 I will sacrifice.
00:25:02.000 I will endure.
00:25:04.000 I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost as if the issue of the whole struggle depended on me alone.
00:25:13.000 Just as that brave young soldier who did give the ultimate sacrifice in World War I, we will work, we will save, we will sacrifice, we will endure, and we will fight cheerfully and do our utmost as if the issue of the whole struggle depended on us alone.
00:25:36.000 Thank you, Iowa.
00:25:38.000 I will be back in a month for your Iowa State Fair.
00:25:41.000 I will...
00:25:47.000 I will proudly be showing in your steer show against Governor Kim Reynolds, your Attorney General, and others.
00:25:56.000 So those of you at the State Fair, come say hello.
00:25:59.000 What an honor.
00:26:00.000 What a joy.
00:26:01.000 Never forget to fight, to fight, to fight, to fight for America, for freedom, for liberty.
00:26:11.000 God bless you all.
00:26:12.000 God bless President Trump.
00:26:14.000 And God bless the United States of America.
00:26:17.000 God bless you all.
00:26:18.000 Thank you so much.
00:26:20.000 Thank you.
00:26:49.000 Today we commemorate an event that did not just change American history, but change the history of the entire world.
00:26:58.000 With the creation of America's Army on June 14, 1775, Liberty got its shield and freedom got its sword.
00:27:09.000 Oh, my God.
00:27:16.000 From Bunker Hill to San Juan Hill, from Gettysburg to Guadalcanal, and from the trenches of the Argonne to the mountains of Afghanistan, the Army has forged a legacy of unmatched courage, untold sacrifice, that are equal glory.
00:27:34.000 Hey!
00:27:36.000 I will support the defense of the Constitution of the United States of America.
00:27:43.000 Their motto was victory or death.
00:27:46.000 Over the past two and a half centuries, our warriors have shown unrivaled valor.
00:27:51.000 Down through history, we've been blessed beyond words by this valiant legion of Army warriors and patriots, heroes and legends.
00:28:01.000 Thanks to their extraordinary service and devotion, 250 years later, America stands tall, America stands proud, and America stands free.
00:28:12.000 *music*
00:28:34.000 The night we met, I knew I needed you so.
00:28:41.000 And if I had the chance, I never let you go.
00:28:48.000 So won't you say you love me?
00:28:52.000 I'll make you so proud of me.

00:29:18.000 I'll make you happy, baby.
00:29:22.000 Just wait and see.
00:29:25.000 For every kiss you give me, I'll give you free.
00:29:33.000 Oh, since the day I saw you, I have been waiting for you.
00:29:40.000 You know I've been for you.
00:29:43.000 You need turning me down to me.

00:48:33.000 So be careful not to show it.
00:48:37.000 You really don't remember.
00:48:41.000 Was it something that he said?
00:48:44.000 All the voices in your head calling Gloria.

00:49:03.000 Why isn't anybody calling?
00:49:07.000 You don't have to answer.
00:49:10.000 Leave them hanging on the line.
00:49:14.000 Calling Gloria Gloria, Gloria.

00:50:27.000 Don't believe it's coming back soon.
00:50:31.000 And you really don't remember.
00:50:34.000 Once it's something that you said of the voices in your head, calling Gloria Gloria.

00:51:24.000 Glory.
00:51:25.000 But you feel it comes in number for the song in that they said for the voices in your head.

01:04:51.000 I'll pick you up in my car and go favor.
01:04:56.000 Hello, Iowa.
01:05:02.000 It is such an honor to be back in our heartland as the Trump administration's representative for America 250 and as America's ambassador.
01:05:18.000 Today we kick off our year-long 250th birthday party for America.
01:05:25.000 This majestic celebration is about our exceptional history and the start of a new era of American greatness.
01:05:38.000 Today we launched the next 250 years of American freedom, strength, dynamism, leadership, and pride.
01:05:50.000 And what an absolute gift it is to have President Trump in the White House during this epic moment in our history.
01:06:03.000 249 years ago, tomorrow, a ragtag band of young patriots came together in a small hall in Philadelphia to approve a document that would change the world forever.
01:06:20.000 The Declaration of Independence was more than an airing of grievances against the crown.
01:06:26.000 It heralded a new nation announced in defiance of tyranny, built on individual rights and freedom.
01:06:37.000 The Declaration was and remains the most eloquent battle cry of all time.
01:06:45.000 The founders knew that when they put their names to it, they were risking it all.
01:06:52.000 As Benjamin Franklin reportedly said, quote, we must hang together or most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.
01:07:02.000 And yet they did it anyway.
01:07:06.000 That is true courage and that is true faith in the absolute moral necessity to fight for God's gift of freedom.
01:07:18.000 *Squeak*
01:07:24.000 The hand of God was upon our founding fathers and upon our new upstart country.
01:07:32.000 But America requires, in Abraham Lincoln's immortal words, a new birth of freedom in every generation.
01:07:41.000 And over the next year, we will honor and celebrate all that the incredible generations before us accomplished, from creating this republic to saving it more than once.
01:07:56.000 A new birth of freedom is exactly what we are experiencing right now, because our current president is a direct inheritor of the founder's heroic character.
01:08:10.000 *crowd cheers*
01:08:15.000 A profoundly brave man, driven by the noble fight for American freedom, guided by the hand of God.
01:08:25.000 From Washington, Adams, Jefferson, and Hamilton to Trump, the through lines of history are clear.
01:08:35.000 President Trump is the heir to those greats who 250 years ago risked their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor for America.
01:08:48.000 We are now in a moment in our history when thanks to President Trump, we are turning the tide again, just as the revolutionary generation did.
01:08:59.000 It is our time to take big risks to save our country.
01:09:04.000 And it is our duty to honor our past generations and their staggering sacrifices, for which we owe them a huge debt of gratitude.
01:09:15.000 We are the natural successors to the Revolutionary War generation, fiercely independent, ruggedly individualist, faithful to God and country, with a white-hot love of liberty and the unique, enduring American spirit.
01:09:36.000 It's been said, and I've studied history so I know this argument well, it's been said that great civilizations tend not to last more than about 250 years.
01:09:50.000 We have made it to year 249 with our big 250 coming up next year.
01:09:57.000 This is an inflection point for the United States.
01:10:00.000 We really do stand at a crossroads in history.
01:10:04.000 As a nation, we could continue to slide into steady decline, or we could choose a restoration of American vigor, patriotism, and purpose.
01:10:16.000 Thank you.
01:10:22.000 It is our responsibility to carry that spirit forward, and we have chosen to make America great again.
01:10:30.000 But as our forefathers discovered, that mission requires forever vigilance.
01:10:37.000 President Trump is rekindling our founder spirit and reclaiming the American Republic for the American people.
01:10:52.000 He is launching us into the next 250 years of American greatness, as he did in his first term by delivering a strong economy, which the big, beautiful bill, which was passed today and the president is going to sign tomorrow, that is going to add rocket fuel to an already strong Trump economy.
01:11:17.000 President Trump had to bring the economy back not once but twice.
01:11:22.000 First after eight long years of Obama Biden and then after the COVID pandemic when we reopened the country.
01:11:30.000 And guess what?
01:11:31.000 He's going to do it a third time.
01:11:38.000 He is also delivering major trade deals, an enforced border and record low illegal immigration, a government being rid of waste, fraud, and corruption, and world peace.
01:11:51.000 He is literally delivering peace and prosperity.
01:11:55.000 America first.
01:11:57.000 I don't know what more people expect or want from an American president.
01:12:01.000 He is literally fulfilling the entire job description and so much more.
01:12:07.000 He is He is fulfilling America's very destiny.
01:12:16.000 This is the new golden age, and with God's help, we will make America even greater over the next 250 years.
01:12:24.000 *crowd cheers*
01:12:31.000 Thanks to the genius cluster known as the Founding Fathers and their unfathomable courage, we will celebrate starting today two and a half centuries of magnificent American exceptionalism.
01:12:45.000 America is a great country, of course.
01:12:48.000 It is also a good country because of the spirit of the American people.
01:12:54.000 One nation truly under God.
01:12:58.000 A beacon of hope, a citadel of liberty, a light in the darkness.
01:13:04.000 This is why we're all here today.
01:13:06.000 This is why we fight.
01:13:09.000 Or to quote a great man, this is why we fight, fight, fight.
01:13:15.000 Thank you so much.
01:13:16.000 God bless you.
01:13:17.000 God bless President Trump and may God continue to bless the United States of America.
01:13:27.000 Thank you.
01:13:51.000 Oh, yeah, you're always on the run now.
01:13:57.000 Running after somebody.
01:14:01.000 You gotta get in somehow.
01:14:04.000 I think you got to slow down before you start to flow it.
01:14:11.000 I think you're headed for a breakdown.
01:14:15.000 So be careful not to show it.
01:14:17.000 You really don't remember.
01:14:21.000 Was it something that he said?
01:14:24.000 Or the voices in your head?
01:14:28.000 Call me Gloria.
01:14:31.000 Gloria.
01:14:35.000 Don't you think you're falling?

01:14:44.000 Why isn't anybody calling?

01:18:37.000 Tomorrow, all the things were gone.
01:18:41.000 I'd work for all my life.
01:18:44.000 And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
01:18:52.000 Thank my lucky stars to be living here today.
01:18:58.000 Cause our flag still stands for freedom.
01:19:01.000 And they can't take that away.

01:21:36.000 USA!
01:22:01.000 What a crowd.
01:22:03.000 Well, I just want to say a very special hello to Iowa.
01:22:08.000 We have had a good time here.
01:22:12.000 We won so much here.
01:22:14.000 We didn't know what to do.
01:22:15.000 There was so much winning here.
01:22:17.000 But we love Iowa.
01:22:19.000 We won all three times.
01:22:21.000 So that's pretty good.
01:22:24.000 And won by a lot, but I'm thrilled to be back in a state that I love and I really do love it too with thousands of proud, hardworking patriots at the world-famous Iowa State Fairgrounds.
01:22:36.000 Thank you.
01:22:37.000 Thank you.
01:22:40.000 18 months ago, the people of Iowa braved sub-zero temperatures.
01:22:44.000 You remember that night?
01:22:46.000 Oh, that was cold.
01:22:48.000 It was cold, but we were warm inside because we won by a landslide to turn out the First in the Nation caucuses, and you delivered 98 out of 99 counties.
01:23:00.000 What the hell county didn't?
01:23:02.000 What's the name of that county?
01:23:04.000 Let's get them out of here.
01:23:08.000 98 out of 99.
01:23:09.000 That's not bad, Susie, I guess, right?
01:23:11.000 We'll take that.
01:23:13.000 But for President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.
01:23:16.000 Thank you very much, everybody.
01:23:21.000 Then in November, we won Iowa by a landslide, 13 points.
01:23:28.000 And it was the single largest presidential victory in U.S. state's history.
01:23:33.000 That's not bad.
01:23:36.000 And now we're back where it all started to celebrate five months of incredible success for our nation.
01:23:42.000 And wish the Iowans and all Americans a very happy 4th of July.
01:23:47.000 It's an honor to be with you.
01:23:52.000 You know, a lot of people wanted us.
01:23:54.000 When you're president, they want you.
01:23:56.000 And if you're not president, they don't want you so much.
01:23:58.000 But they really wanted us.
01:23:59.000 And I said, nope, I'm going to Iowa because I promised I would go to Iowa.
01:24:03.000 Sorry.
01:24:04.000 I said, no way there could be no better birthday present for America than the phenomenal victory we achieved just hours ago when Congress passed the one big beautiful bill to make America great again.
01:24:20.000 Right?
01:24:23.000 And in the last election, the people gave us a historic mandate to cut taxes, raise take-home pay, Bring back jobs, stop the invasion, that horrible invasion.
01:24:36.000 Who would do that?
01:24:37.000 Who would do that?
01:24:38.000 That horrible, who would do that to us?
01:24:41.000 Who would do that to us?
01:24:44.000 Deport the illegals and slash hundreds of billions of dollars of waste and fraud, and that's what we're doing.
01:24:51.000 With this bill, every major promise I made to the people of Iowa in 2024 became a promise kept.
01:24:57.000 You know, we actually, they had a report today on some crazy fake station, but it wasn't fake in this regard.
01:25:04.000 They said, you know, this guy actually did more than he promised.
01:25:08.000 did.
01:25:13.000 And I have another hat back there.
01:25:15.000 It says, Donald Trump was right about everything.
01:25:19.000 And I said, no, no, that sounds a little too conceited, but it happens to be true, I must tell you.
01:25:27.000 This bill includes the largest tax cut in American history, the largest spending cut in American history, the largest border security investment in American history, although I must tell you, if you saw last month, they had zero people coming through our border.
01:25:49.000 Zero.
01:25:50.000 I'm not sure that's even possible.
01:25:52.000 You know, I'll take it, but somebody must think the other character had hundreds of thousands of people every time.
01:25:59.000 Sometimes in a day, they'd have over 100,000.
01:26:02.000 We had zero, I don't know, for the month.
01:26:04.000 It must be a little wrong.
01:26:05.000 Maybe they're two or three or something, but I'll take the zero.
01:26:09.000 And the group that makes up those stats, you know, they're radical left Democrats.
01:26:13.000 So it's probably true.
01:26:15.000 We did a great job on the border.
01:26:16.000 The largest welfare reforms and military upgrades in modern times, that's what we're doing.
01:26:21.000 We rebuilt our military in 2016 in their first term.
01:26:26.000 We rebuilt it.
01:26:27.000 They gave some of it away to Afghanistan on the most embarrassing day in the history of our country.
01:26:33.000 You remember that?
01:26:35.000 You remember that?
01:26:36.000 We don't have days like that.
01:26:37.000 We have days like we just had in Iran.
01:26:39.000 That's the kind of days we have.
01:26:42.000 Complete obliteration.
01:26:45.000 It turned out that was complete obliteration.
01:26:48.000 Think of these guys flying way up in the air in a dark night, no moon, no nothing.
01:26:52.000 And they hit every single target.
01:26:55.000 It's the size of one half a refrigerator door, a little size.
01:27:00.000 Two by two.
01:27:02.000 But this is a declaration of independence from a really national decline.
01:27:08.000 We had a national decline.
01:27:09.000 We were a laughingstock all over the world.
01:27:11.000 We had a man as president who shouldn't have been there.
01:27:15.000 You know that.
01:27:15.000 He shouldn't have been there.
01:27:17.000 But we really had independence now over the, if you look at it, the over-taxation where we were being taxed out of our lives, independence from over-regulation.
01:27:30.000 We have independence now from radical left bureaucrats and independence from the largest alien invasion that I think any country has ever seen.
01:27:40.000 We've never had anything like that.
01:27:41.000 These people were fools.
01:27:42.000 They allowed it to happen.
01:27:44.000 You know, we've already cured inflation.
01:27:46.000 Your gas prices are way down.
01:27:48.000 Everything I said is done.
01:27:49.000 But the one thing, it's hard.
01:27:51.000 It's hard.
01:27:51.000 Think of the time we spent on having murderers and gang members and prisoners from all over the world come into our country.
01:28:00.000 We're getting them out fast, but it's a terrible thing what they've done to our country.
01:28:04.000 And I hope you remember it, what they've done to our country, our beautiful country.
01:28:08.000 11,888 murderers came into our country, and some we've already gotten out, but it's terrible.
01:28:18.000 Many of them, more than 50%, murdered more than one person.
01:28:22.000 Can you believe it?
01:28:23.000 And they let them come into our beautiful country.
01:28:26.000 Just as I promised, we're making the Trump tax cuts permanent and delivering no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security for our great seniors, right?
01:28:40.000 Front row Joe.
01:28:42.000 We got a lot of front row Joes here.
01:28:44.000 That's very nice.
01:28:45.000 Thank you.
01:28:46.000 Thank you.
01:28:47.000 And we have Mr. Wall.
01:28:49.000 Someday I'm buying that suit, I'm telling you.
01:28:52.000 I like that suit.
01:28:53.000 I'll walk up one day.
01:28:54.000 I'll be dressed like a wall, just like you.
01:28:57.000 I think he's come to about 200 rallies, and that means you like us.
01:29:00.000 And I think he's a very successful guy, too, believe it or not.
01:29:03.000 He's a top accountant.
01:29:05.000 Can you believe this?
01:29:06.000 And he comes to rallies, he likes to rallies.
01:29:08.000 Front row Joes, they're all successful.
01:29:11.000 But this is what they do for entertainment.
01:29:13.000 But now it's not entertainment.
01:29:15.000 We've saved our country.
01:29:16.000 We've got the hottest country anywhere in the world, as said by many, many leaders of other countries.
01:29:25.000 And we will ignite trillions of dollars in economic growth, increase take-home pay for the typical family by more than $10,000 a year.
01:29:38.000 And very importantly for Iowa, this bill rescues over 2 million family farms from the so-called estate tax or the death tax.
01:29:45.000 In other words, before Trump, you were losing farms to the banks.
01:29:50.000 Before Trump, you were losing the farms like nobody's ever seen before.
01:29:55.000 You love your children.
01:29:57.000 You don't feel so well.
01:29:58.000 You pass away.
01:29:58.000 You leave everything to your children.
01:30:00.000 And they have to pay a big estate tax or a death tax, as we call it.
01:30:04.000 And they couldn't do it.
01:30:05.000 They go out and borrow money, and all of a sudden the bank is foreclosing on the farm.
01:30:09.000 Not going to happen.
01:30:10.000 You have no more estate tax.
01:30:11.000 You have no more death tax to pay.
01:30:17.000 Now that's if you love your children.
01:30:19.000 If you don't love your children, it doesn't matter, just forget about what I said, not going to help.
01:30:24.000 But if you love them or if you love somebody that you're leaving it to, think of that.
01:30:28.000 No death tax, no estate tax, no going to the banks and borrowing from, in some cases, a fine banker, and in some cases, shylocks and bad people.
01:30:39.000 But they took away a lot of family.
01:30:41.000 They destroyed a lot of families.
01:30:43.000 But we did the opposite.
01:30:44.000 So just remember, to me, it's so important.
01:30:46.000 And it was mostly important for places like we're at right now.
01:30:50.000 It's really, I'm so proud of it.
01:30:52.000 At the same time, this bill cuts $1.5 trillion in spending.
01:30:58.000 So wasteful spending is being cut by $1.5 trillion.
01:31:03.000 And I got to tell you, I want to thank Republican congressmen and women because what they did is incredible last night.
01:31:10.000 And the Senate, the Republican Senate, we got, with all of the things we did with the tax cuts and rebuilding our military, not one Democrat voted for us.
01:31:21.000 And I think we use it in the campaign that's coming up the midterms because we got to beat them.
01:31:26.000 But all of the things that we've given, and they wouldn't vote, only because they hate Trump.
01:31:31.000 But I hate them too.
01:31:33.000 You know that?
01:31:34.000 So it's sort of me.
01:31:36.000 I really do.
01:31:37.000 I hate them.
01:31:38.000 I cannot stand them because I really believe they hate our country.
01:31:41.000 You want to know the truth?
01:31:43.000 But it kicks illegal aliens off of Medicaid and food stamps and allows us to hire 3,000 new Border Patrol agents and 10,000 new ICE agents.
01:31:54.000 And they are great patriots, the Border Patrol and ICE, to carry out the largest deportation operation in the history of our country.
01:32:04.000 And I don't like saying that.
01:32:06.000 I don't like saying that.
01:32:07.000 But we have a country.
01:32:08.000 We have a country to run, and we have so many people coming in that shouldn't be here.
01:32:13.000 And they did.
01:32:13.000 They came in from prisons, and they came in from drugs and gangs and drug lords, the worst in the world.
01:32:21.000 They came in from mental institutions.
01:32:23.000 They emptied mental institutions into our wonderful country.
01:32:28.000 And I know exactly what's going on in Iowa.
01:32:30.000 You had some horrible crime in Iowa caused by illegal aliens, but we're getting them the hell out of here.
01:32:36.000 We have no choice.
01:32:41.000 And our great, big, beautiful bill, it will build the Golden Dome Missile Defense Shield.
01:32:47.000 We're going to have the best shield.
01:32:50.000 And you saw that just the other day where the missiles are being shot down one after another.
01:32:55.000 You know, they called me to tell me they have to take a shot at us.
01:32:59.000 This was Iran, very respectful.
01:33:01.000 That means they respect us.
01:33:03.000 Because we dropped 14 bombs.
01:33:05.000 They said we'd like to take 14 shots at you.
01:33:07.000 I said, go ahead.
01:33:08.000 I understand.
01:33:09.000 They said, where they'd do it.
01:33:11.000 I said, good.
01:33:12.000 We emptied out the fort.
01:33:13.000 There was a beautiful military base in Qatar who treated us really fantastically well.
01:33:19.000 And they said, sir, one o'clock, okay.
01:33:21.000 I said, it was fine.
01:33:23.000 We could make it later.
01:33:24.000 And we had nobody but four gunners.
01:33:27.000 They call them gunners, and they shoot the Patriots.
01:33:30.000 They shoot the missiles up.
01:33:31.000 It's hard to believe.
01:33:32.000 So all of a sudden they said, we're ready.
01:33:35.000 And they were a little nervous about doing it, I want to tell you.
01:33:38.000 Can you imagine?
01:33:39.000 They were nice enough.
01:33:40.000 This is Iran to call me and tell me that they would like to shoot me at 14 times.
01:33:46.000 So they want to shoot us.
01:33:48.000 And I said, go ahead.
01:33:50.000 And they shot 14 high-grade, very fast missiles.
01:33:54.000 Every single one of them was shot down routinely by these four unbelievable gunmen.
01:34:02.000 And they did their job.
01:34:05.000 And that was the end of that.
01:34:09.000 Take what you do best and create a website that's worthy of it.
01:34:14.000 People did.
01:34:15.000 And you know, they're going to be in Washington tomorrow at the White House.
01:34:18.000 We're going to be celebrating.
01:34:19.000 We took not only the pilots, but the people that flew the other planes, but also the mechanics that had these planes going for 37 hours without a stop.
01:34:32.000 You know, we had 50, it was so far away.
01:34:34.000 We had 52 tankers.
01:34:36.000 Think of that.
01:34:37.000 52 that's loaded up with oil.
01:34:39.000 I wouldn't want to fly one of those suckers over a random.
01:34:42.000 I say, what happens if they're shot at?
01:34:44.000 Well, sir, that's a tough situation.
01:34:47.000 It's not a pretty sight, but they were unbelievable.
01:34:50.000 52 tankers to load them up.
01:34:52.000 They followed the planes in, and they never had to stop for fuel.
01:34:55.000 They went 37 hours, actually.
01:34:58.000 And how incredible.
01:35:00.000 What equipment, what equipment.
01:35:01.000 And you know, China, Russia, they were all watching.
01:35:04.000 Everybody was watching.
01:35:05.000 We have the greatest equipment anywhere in the world.
01:35:08.000 We have the greatest people anywhere in the world.
01:35:10.000 And we have the strongest military anywhere in the world.
01:35:14.000 But we're going to fully modernize our air traffic control system and expand school choice and may really so much more.
01:35:21.000 By the way, the air traffic control, you probably don't have that problem here.
01:35:24.000 You know, you have planes land like they, but in some congested areas, you saw what happened with the helicopter and the plane and a lot of other things.
01:35:33.000 If we had great equipment and we should have had, it was all set up to go.
01:35:38.000 And then Biden canceled the order when he came in.
01:35:41.000 But he canceled a lot of orders because he didn't know what the hell he was doing.
01:35:45.000 There's a case would have never happened.
01:35:47.000 Bells would have gone off.
01:35:48.000 Whistles would have gone off.
01:35:49.000 Everything would have gone off.
01:35:50.000 It would have never happened.
01:35:52.000 Very simply, the one big, beautiful bill would deliver the strongest border on earth, the strongest economy on earth, the strongest military on earth, and ensure the United States of America will remain the strongest country anywhere on this beautiful planet of ours.
01:36:10.000 165 days into the Trump administration, America is on a winning streak like, frankly, nobody's ever seen before in the history of the presidency.
01:36:21.000 They said, you know, sir, you're going to go down as one of the greatest presidents ever.
01:36:25.000 I said, really?
01:36:28.000 No.
01:36:28.000 I said, really?
01:36:30.000 I said, better than Washington?
01:36:32.000 They said, yes, sir.
01:36:34.000 I said, better than Honest Abe Lincoln?
01:36:37.000 They said, yes, sir.
01:36:38.000 I said, I like this guy that said that.
01:36:41.000 That's a smart guy.
01:36:42.000 He's up for a big promotion right now.
01:36:45.000 But just a few months ago, our country was cold as ice.
01:36:48.000 We were laughed at all over the world.
01:36:50.000 They were laughed at.
01:36:51.000 Think of it, a year ago, we were laughed at.
01:36:54.000 We were a bunch of clowns.
01:36:55.000 They were laughing at our president.
01:36:58.000 They were laughing at everything having to do with our country.
01:37:01.000 I was in Saudi Arabia.
01:37:02.000 I was in Qatar.
01:37:03.000 I was in UAE.
01:37:04.000 Great leaders, strong, powerful, very rich leaders too, by the way.
01:37:09.000 But great leaders, very smart people.
01:37:12.000 And they said to me, the king of Saudi Arabia, but the three said the same thing essentially.
01:37:16.000 They said, you know, a year ago we thought your country was finished.
01:37:20.000 We thought it was dead.
01:37:22.000 Dead.
01:37:23.000 Horrible word.
01:37:24.000 Dead.
01:37:25.000 And they were right.
01:37:26.000 The country was close to death.
01:37:28.000 And he said, and you know what?
01:37:29.000 You've been in there.
01:37:30.000 At that time, it was four and a half months.
01:37:32.000 It was a couple of months ago.
01:37:34.000 He said, Right now, you're in the hottest country anywhere in the world.
01:37:40.000 There's no country in the world you talked about all over the world.
01:37:43.000 You got the hottest, smartest, sharpest country.
01:37:47.000 And by the way, look at our stock market.
01:37:49.000 We're taking in hundreds of billions of dollars on tariffs with no inflation.
01:37:54.000 And today we just set another record, the highest stock market in history.
01:37:59.000 No inflation.
01:38:02.000 And one of the great economists from the Wharton School of Finance, where I happened to go, he apologized.
01:38:07.000 He says, you know, I think Trump outsmarted us all.
01:38:10.000 And yesterday was the poll, and out of 77 economists, I came in second.
01:38:19.000 I want to find the guy that came out first.
01:38:21.000 Somebody came in first.
01:38:22.000 Can you believe it?
01:38:24.000 But we said what was going to happen, and it's happening.
01:38:26.000 And I'll tell you what, we had the greatest economy in history of my first term.
01:38:31.000 This is going to blow it away.
01:38:32.000 You watch.
01:38:32.000 This is going to blow it away.
01:38:35.000 For the first time in years, this 4th of July, the economy is roaring.
01:38:40.000 Incomes are soaring.
01:38:41.000 Wages are up.
01:38:42.000 Prices are down.
01:38:44.000 Gasoline, you see what's going on with gasoline?
01:38:47.000 It's way down.
01:38:48.000 See what's going on with eggs?
01:38:50.000 Eggs are way down, eggs.
01:38:52.000 Remember, I came in my first week.
01:38:54.000 The fake news, those guys right there, look at all of them.
01:38:56.000 Wow, that's a...
01:39:01.000 No, a lot of fake.
01:39:02.000 No, but we like them.
01:39:04.000 It just shows you when you can get every story, 100% of the stories, no matter what you do that's good, they make it as bad as possible.
01:39:11.000 And then you win in a landslide.
01:39:13.000 There's something, there's something wrong.
01:39:15.000 But the fake news hit me with eggs.
01:39:17.000 Remember, first week, four days, eggs are through the roof.
01:39:21.000 I said, I just got here.
01:39:22.000 What's going on with eggs?
01:39:23.000 Tell me.
01:39:24.000 I didn't hear about it.
01:39:25.000 They're up five times higher than they should be.
01:39:28.000 They were going through the roof.
01:39:30.000 But they were blaming me.
01:39:31.000 I said, I just got here.
01:39:33.000 And within two months, our great Secretary of Agriculture, who I think is with us tonight, Brooke, where's Brooke?
01:39:40.000 Oh, look at you.
01:39:41.000 Look, she is here.
01:39:43.000 She flew all the way from, she comes from Texas, but I think she likes Iowa maybe even better.
01:39:48.000 Look at her.
01:39:49.000 You did a good job with groceries and with eggs.
01:39:53.000 It's true.
01:39:54.000 They said we have them this time, finally.
01:39:56.000 It took an egg to get me, but that didn't happen either.
01:39:59.000 Now they're down to a normal price, and people are ordering like crazy.
01:40:03.000 But inflation is dead.
01:40:04.000 401ks and retirement accounts just hit an all-time record high.
01:40:14.000 Did I hear what I think I heard?
01:40:18.000 But we've achieved the lowest level of illegal border crossings in U.S. history, zero illegals.
01:40:24.000 Think of it.
01:40:24.000 We had zero.
01:40:26.000 And as I said, and I'll say it again, I love it because I have never seen any country suffer.
01:40:31.000 No country has ever.
01:40:33.000 Don't worry, it's only fireworks.
01:40:34.000 I hope.
01:40:35.000 Famous last words.
01:40:37.000 My famous last words.
01:40:38.000 Trump said, don't worry, it's only fireworks.
01:40:44.000 You always have to think positive.
01:40:45.000 I didn't like that sound either.
01:40:50.000 But last month, American-born workers gained 830,000 new jobs a record.
01:40:57.000 That's American.
01:41:01.000 While the illegal aliens lost 340,000.
01:41:05.000 Now, we don't want bad for them, but look, we have a country to run, and we want to have them come in, and we want to have them help our farmers.
01:41:12.000 You know, you probably saw I got myself into a little trouble because I said, I don't want to take people away from the farmers.
01:41:18.000 And we're going to do something I think that's going to be good because we want all the criminals out, everybody agrees, and we're finding the criminals, the murderers, the drug deals, we're getting them the hell out of here.
01:41:27.000 But the farmers, some of the farmers, many of you sitting right here, I have four friends right in the fifth row.
01:41:34.000 But some of the farmers, you know, they've had people working for them for years.
01:41:38.000 And we're going to do something.
01:41:39.000 We're working with Christie.
01:41:41.000 And we're going to do something that we're going to sort of put the farmers in charge.
01:41:46.000 And if somebody, if a farmer's been with one of these people that works so hard, they bend over all day.
01:41:54.000 We don't have too many people can do that.
01:41:56.000 But they work very hard and they know them very well.
01:41:59.000 And some of the farmers are literally, you know, they cry when they see this happen.
01:42:04.000 If a farmer is willing to vouch for these people, in some way, Christy, I think we're going to have to just say that's going to be good, right?
01:42:10.000 You know, we're going to be good with it.
01:42:13.000 Because we don't want to do it where we take all of the workers off the farms.
01:42:17.000 We want the farms to do great like they're doing right now.
01:42:20.000 So Christy Noam has done a fantastic job.
01:42:23.000 And Tom Holman.
01:42:27.000 And we're working on legislation right now.
01:42:30.000 Susie, right?
01:42:31.000 We're working on legislation right now where farmers, look, they know better.
01:42:35.000 They work with them for years.
01:42:36.000 You had cases where, not here, but just even over the years, where people have worked for a farm on a farm for 14, 15 years, and they get thrown out pretty viciously.
01:42:46.000 And we can't do it.
01:42:48.000 We've got to work with the farmers and people that have hotels and leisure properties too.
01:42:53.000 We're going to work with them and we're going to work very strong and smart.
01:42:56.000 And we're going to put you in charge.
01:42:58.000 We're going to make you responsible.
01:43:00.000 And I think that that's going to make a lot of people happy.
01:43:02.000 Now, serious radical right people who I also happen to like a lot, they may not be quite as happy, but they'll understand, won't they?
01:43:09.000 Do you think so?
01:43:10.000 Madam Secretary, look at you with a white hat on.
01:43:13.000 Do you think they'll understand that you're the one that brought this whole situation up?
01:43:17.000 Brooke Rollins brought it up and she said, so we have a little problem.
01:43:21.000 The farmers are losing a lot of people.
01:43:24.000 And we figured it out and we have some great stuff being written and let the farmers be responsible.
01:43:30.000 And then if the farmers don't do a good job, we'll throw them the hell out of the country.
01:43:33.000 We'll let the guys, we'll let the illegal stay and we'll throw the farmer the hell out, okay?
01:43:38.000 Get ready, farmer, I'm telling you.
01:43:46.000 Donald Trump will throw farmers out of our country.
01:43:50.000 They will write it.
01:43:51.000 Because whenever I'm sarcastic, you know, when you, you can't be sarcastic as a politician.
01:43:57.000 Well, if you're me, you can be if you're sarcastic.
01:44:00.000 So I want to say, I was only kidding.
01:44:02.000 No, no, the fake news will write it.
01:44:04.000 Donald Trump wants all farmers thrown the hell out of our country.
01:44:08.000 The audience booed the hell out of them.
01:44:10.000 There was no boo.
01:44:12.000 No, the fake news.
01:44:13.000 That's why nobody watches them anymore.
01:44:15.000 Violent crime is plummeting, and we're on track to reach the lowest murder rate ever recorded by the year, the end of this year.
01:44:22.000 It looks like we're doing way, way, way, way good.
01:44:28.000 And that's knowing that we have a lot of people in the country that we didn't have in the country four or five years ago.
01:44:34.000 I mean, we have a lot of people that they allowed into the country that are serious criminals.
01:44:39.000 A lot of them are on their way out, however.
01:44:41.000 Iran's nuclear enrichment has been obliterated.
01:44:45.000 Remember when CNN said it wasn't obliterated.
01:44:49.000 It was maybe damaged or damaged badly, but obliterated is too strong a word.
01:44:54.000 No, it was obliterated.
01:44:55.000 That's now been proven.
01:44:57.000 The Atomic Energy Commissions, everything, that's been obliterated.
01:45:01.000 And they were trying to demean me by saying that, but they were really demeaning those great pilots and people and mechanics that got those planes over there and were able to shoot from high up in the air going very, very fast with potentially a lot of things being shot at them and hit every single one.
01:45:22.000 They're trying to demean me, but to me, they were demeaning them.
01:45:27.000 And they got out of the plane and they said, what the hell?
01:45:29.000 We hit every single target.
01:45:31.000 They know better than anybody.
01:45:33.000 But now that's been proven.
01:45:34.000 It's CNN fake news and scammers that work for them.
01:45:37.000 Scam writers that work for them.
01:45:39.000 But we understand it and we fight it back.
01:45:42.000 And a lot of people said, sure, don't criticize it because they're beneath you.
01:45:46.000 No, they're not beneath me.
01:45:47.000 Nobody's beneath me.
01:45:48.000 You got to put it.
01:45:49.000 Otherwise, people don't understand.
01:45:50.000 If you don't say something about it, you've got to say it.
01:45:54.000 These people did one of the greatest military hits and maneuvers in the history of our country.
01:46:00.000 And I want them to be appreciated for it.
01:46:05.000 So they're coming to the White House tomorrow night.
01:46:10.000 And I'm signing the bill with the Speaker of the House.
01:46:13.000 And by the way, Mike Johnson did a great job.
01:46:17.000 Jon Thune did a great job to everybody.
01:46:20.000 This whole two weeks has been incredible, hasn't it?
01:46:23.000 You know, when you think of all of the victories, we stopped five nations from going to war, and somebody else will get the Nobel Peace Prize for their writing about Donald Trump.
01:46:33.000 A professor at some school that you've never heard of has received the Nobel Prize for his writing about Donald Trump and what Donald Trump did.
01:46:42.000 I say, what about me?
01:46:43.000 I don't get it, but that's one of those things.
01:46:45.000 But think of it.
01:46:47.000 We stopped India and Pakistan.
01:46:51.000 We stopped Kosovo and Serbia.
01:46:54.000 They've been fighting for a long time.
01:46:56.000 And a lot of it was trade.
01:46:57.000 I said, you're not going to trade with us if you're going to go to war.
01:46:59.000 And India-Pakistan was big, very big for a different reason.
01:47:03.000 I mean, they have little things called nuclear weapons.
01:47:06.000 You would have had pretty soon a nuclear war.
01:47:09.000 We stopped that.
01:47:10.000 In Africa, you look at what was going on in the Congo with Rwanda.
01:47:15.000 That war was going on for 30 years, 30 years, and we stopped it, and it was vicious.
01:47:22.000 Six million people killed.
01:47:26.000 And it was a bad one.
01:47:28.000 It was killed and killed badly.
01:47:30.000 Machete's a machete.
01:47:32.000 You know what a machete is?
01:47:33.000 You don't want to know.
01:47:35.000 And we just did a really great job.
01:47:37.000 And then, of course, you cap it off with the hit, the perfect hit, in Iran, where they were talking awfully badly.
01:47:43.000 You know, death to America, death to Israel.
01:47:45.000 They were talking awfully badly, and they're not talking badly anymore, to be honest with you.
01:47:50.000 And we might even meet with them and see if they want to meet.
01:47:53.000 They want to meet.
01:47:54.000 And we'll see if we can do something.
01:47:56.000 But they want to meet.
01:47:57.000 I think they want to meet very badly.
01:47:59.000 But our allies have agreed to pay over a trillion dollars a year for our defense.
01:48:05.000 You saw what happened in NATO.
01:48:06.000 In fact, we have our ambassador to NATO here.
01:48:10.000 Where's our?
01:48:11.000 You know that guy?
01:48:12.000 In Iowa, they know him.
01:48:14.000 Big Matt.
01:48:16.000 Matt Whitaker.
01:48:19.000 We have Matt Whitaker from Iowa.
01:48:21.000 I wasn't going to hire him, and then I said, Matt, you come from Iowa, don't you?
01:48:25.000 Yes, sir, I do.
01:48:26.000 Okay, you hired.
01:48:28.000 Anybody comes from Iowa, I hire.
01:48:31.000 And every branch of the U.S. military is setting records for new enlistments.
01:48:35.000 You know, remember a year ago, it was embarrassing.
01:48:39.000 They couldn't get anybody to go into the military.
01:48:42.000 They couldn't get anybody to go into the police or fire departments.
01:48:45.000 They couldn't get anybody to go into government.
01:48:48.000 And now we just set a record, a new record of enlistments in every single branch of the military and in all police forces.
01:48:57.000 One year.
01:48:59.000 One year ago, I remember saying to our great First Lady, I said, you know, First Lady, I call her First Lady because it makes me feel good.
01:49:07.000 First Lady, isn't it terrible?
01:49:10.000 You're saying, good night, First Lady, my darling.
01:49:13.000 Because it reminds me that I'm president.
01:49:15.000 That's all.
01:49:17.000 Now, I said, First Lady, it's terrible.
01:49:20.000 Nobody wants to join our military force.
01:49:23.000 And, you know, that was very demeaning to the people that are in there that have been in there for a long time doing a good job.
01:49:28.000 And then all of a sudden, like, we get elected and there's a spirit in the country and we start doing well.
01:49:32.000 We have victory after victory in so many different things, especially economically.
01:49:37.000 We're doing so good.
01:49:38.000 We have hundreds of billions of dollars flowing in from other countries.
01:49:42.000 We have plants being built all over.
01:49:44.000 I mean, a little less here because you have enough with your farm.
01:49:47.000 Oh, by the way, but I did get beef and I got ethanol into Europe.
01:49:52.000 You saw that.
01:49:53.000 You saw that.
01:49:56.000 United Kingdom, they didn't want to do it.
01:49:59.000 You know, they never took our beef and they never took our ethanol.
01:50:02.000 And we said, got to do it.
01:50:04.000 And they did, and they were great.
01:50:05.000 We made a wonderful trade deal with them.
01:50:07.000 But we're doing that all over.
01:50:08.000 Is ethanol very important still for Iowa?
01:50:10.000 Is it still?
01:50:11.000 Yes?
01:50:15.000 Anyway, so they've taken it in the United Kingdom and beef.
01:50:18.000 They never took it because they want to do their own.
01:50:20.000 You know, they have a lot of farms and a lot of farmers, and they want to do their own, but they took it, and it's going to be great.
01:50:25.000 You're going to do, I'll tell you what, the farmers here are going to do incredibly.
01:50:27.000 Plus, we have tariffs on a lot of this stuff That was coming in and absolutely killing you, where they have different forms of vegetation coming in at prices that were very, very bad for you.
01:50:40.000 And a lot of it comes in because they want to put you out of business and then they want to raise the prices.
01:50:45.000 And we're not letting that happen to the farmers and to Iowa, to Nebraska, and Wisconsin and all these other places that have been so great.
01:50:53.000 And in breaking news, just yesterday, we reached a historic trade agreement with Vietnam to open their markets to American exports with zero tariffs.
01:51:03.000 They get zero tariffs.
01:51:07.000 And you're going to be giving them vast amounts of farm product, including beef, pork, poultry, dairy, and pure Iowa ethanol.
01:51:15.000 You're going to be given all of those products.
01:51:18.000 And the fact is, I could go on and on, but the fact is really strong, and it's stronger than it's ever been, and stronger than I've ever seen.
01:51:26.000 The golden age of America is upon us.
01:51:29.000 This is a golden age.
01:51:31.000 This is such a beautiful, such a beautiful term, the golden age.
01:51:36.000 And I couldn't have even said it in my first term.
01:51:39.000 I'm telling you, this is going to blow the first term away, and we did great.
01:51:42.000 We got great marks in the first term, and this is going to blow it away.
01:51:45.000 This incredible national resurgence is happening just in time for one of the biggest events in the history of our country.
01:51:52.000 Exactly one year from tomorrow, we will celebrate the 250th anniversary of America's founding with a birthday party, the likes of which you have never seen before.
01:52:06.000 Two years ago, I came to Iowa and...
01:52:14.000 Because maintaining this grounds.
01:52:17.000 And tonight, here I am.
01:52:19.000 Okay, promise is kept.
01:52:24.000 Promise is kept.
01:52:26.000 It's an honor, too.
01:52:27.000 It's an honor because you've been with me from the beginning.
01:52:31.000 Thank you.
01:52:39.000 Thank you very much.
01:52:42.000 No, it is an honor.
01:52:43.000 You've been with me from the beginning.
01:52:44.000 It was without doubt.
01:52:46.000 In fact, I had some moments when I said maybe they might not, you know, fake stories were put out there like, I don't like corn.
01:52:53.000 I don't like corn.
01:52:54.000 I love corn.
01:52:56.000 But they give you fake news.
01:52:57.000 I said, you think that's going to hurt me in Iowa?
01:52:59.000 My numbers went up.
01:53:01.000 No, I don't know.
01:53:02.000 I can't figure you people out.
01:53:04.000 This evening, we're officially launching America 250, an enormous year-long nationwide celebration of our heritage.
01:53:12.000 It's really also a celebration of our flag, our great American flag, and our glorious American freedom.
01:53:20.000 Did anybody see the beautiful flag I put up in front of the White House?
01:53:26.000 Right?
01:53:27.000 Everyone's liking it.
01:53:29.000 Everyone's liking it.
01:53:30.000 I actually put two up.
01:53:32.000 I put one in the front and one in the back.
01:53:35.000 I didn't want to go too crazy.
01:53:36.000 I thought that would be enough.
01:53:37.000 You're not that big.
01:53:39.000 They're about as big as you can get.
01:53:40.000 We're proud of it.
01:53:41.000 We will be announcing many more details in the weeks to come, but there are just some of the things that we have planned.
01:53:49.000 And I have to say first, in honor of the wonderful tradition of fairgrounds like this one, this is a great fairground.
01:53:55.000 As you know, I've been here before.
01:53:57.000 We will be orchestrating what we're calling the Great American State Fair.
01:54:02.000 And it will start right here in Iowa.
01:54:07.000 Right?
01:54:12.000 So we're starting it off in Iowa.
01:54:14.000 Now we're starting it off in your great fairgrounds, and we're going to have a big crowd just like we do tonight.
01:54:19.000 That's a big crowd.
01:54:20.000 I can't even see the end of it.
01:54:22.000 So thank you back there.
01:54:23.000 I'd like to move the press back so they could see better.
01:54:27.000 But the Great American State Fair will bring America 250 programming to fairgrounds across the country, culminating in a giant patriotic festival next summer on the National Mall, featuring exhibits from all 50 states.
01:54:42.000 And all 50 states are excited, and I was excited.
01:54:45.000 You know, when I did the 250, there was nothing I could do.
01:54:49.000 It was 250, it was 250, so I can't say that was my baby.
01:54:52.000 The country happened to be 250 years old.
01:54:55.000 But what I did do is during my first term, I got the Olympics, and I got the great soccer.
01:55:02.000 You know, that whole deal, right?
01:55:04.000 I got, we call it soccer, they call it football.
01:55:07.000 I got them both.
01:55:08.000 I got the Olympics.
01:55:10.000 First, I got the Olympics, and I got it.
01:55:12.000 I was president, and I said, you know, it's a shame.
01:55:15.000 It's a shame.
01:55:17.000 I got the World Cup, and I have the Olympics, and I did it.
01:55:22.000 And you have no idea.
01:55:23.000 President Obama didn't want to make a call to the Olympics.
01:55:25.000 You know why?
01:55:26.000 Because he went to Switzerland or wherever.
01:55:28.000 And he said, you know, if a president goes to get the Olympics, you have to have a deal.
01:55:33.000 You have to be chosen.
01:55:34.000 He went there and he came in fourth, so he hated them, I guess.
01:55:38.000 And he was unwilling to make a call.
01:55:40.000 And they called me up.
01:55:41.000 Democrats called me up, actually, from Los Angeles, and I said, I'll do it.
01:55:45.000 I made the call.
01:55:46.000 And I couldn't get the people off the phone because they were so starved for love.
01:55:51.000 Nobody would call them.
01:55:52.000 Anyway, we made it.
01:55:53.000 I got the Olympics.
01:55:54.000 Then we got the World Cup with Johnny.
01:55:56.000 We got the World Cup.
01:55:57.000 And I got them both.
01:55:58.000 And I looked at my people.
01:56:00.000 I said, isn't it a shame?
01:56:02.000 I got these two, but it wasn't in the next four years.
01:56:04.000 It was right after that, and the one after that.
01:56:07.000 And I got the Olympics.
01:56:08.000 I got the World Cup.
01:56:10.000 And we also have 250, so it's a pretty wild term.
01:56:14.000 But I got these two things that are incredible.
01:56:16.000 Nobody else could have done it.
01:56:17.000 I'm telling you, everybody wanted it.
01:56:19.000 Nobody could have done it.
01:56:20.000 And I said, and I won't be president, because I'll be president for four more years, but it won't be.
01:56:26.000 And then they cheated and rigged the election.
01:56:30.000 They rigged.
01:56:31.000 You know, they don't even turn off the cameras when I say that now, because now they know it's true, too.
01:56:35.000 But they knew it was true before.
01:56:37.000 Remember the cameras used to immediately turn off.
01:56:39.000 You see all those beautiful red lights go off.
01:56:42.000 Now I can say whatever I want because they know it's true.
01:56:44.000 But they knew it was true before.
01:56:46.000 It's fake news.
01:56:47.000 That's why they call it.
01:56:48.000 But you know what?
01:56:50.000 This term is much more consequential than if I had done it the more traditional way.
01:56:57.000 This was slightly harder, believe me.
01:57:00.000 It's slightly more dangerous because there are criminals on the other side that tried to put your president in jail and went after him, just like they do in third world countries.
01:57:09.000 And we all beat them together.
01:57:11.000 We beat them because our level of popularity was so high.
01:57:18.000 And it was high because I explained the situation.
01:57:21.000 When these thugs came around, I explained it to the people, and fortunately, I was able to be on a lot of television, a lot of, I did whatever you had to do, I had to explain it.
01:57:31.000 Then they said, wow, that's fake stuff.
01:57:32.000 It was fake.
01:57:33.000 They're a bunch of bad people, but we kicked their ass, and we're going to continue to do well.
01:57:39.000 And I appreciate it.
01:57:40.000 And there was nobody more loyal than Mr. Kaufman, who's fantastic.
01:57:46.000 And Iowa, and his son, who's maybe more fair.
01:57:48.000 Where the hell is he?
01:57:50.000 Stand up.
01:57:51.000 Where's your boy?
01:57:52.000 His son is better than him, I'm telling you.
01:57:55.000 And he doesn't mind.
01:57:56.000 I have a lot of fathers who'd be very insulted if I said that.
01:57:59.000 But they're bad people.
01:58:00.000 He's a good guy.
01:58:01.000 He's got a son who's fantastic.
01:58:03.000 You know that.
01:58:04.000 I think he's probably here someplace.
01:58:06.000 Where is he?
01:58:06.000 Uh-oh.
01:58:07.000 He's better looking than you, too.
01:58:10.000 Good, thank you.
01:58:11.000 Great job.
01:58:11.000 Nobody more loyal than the people of Iowa during that period of time when we had to show our stuff.
01:58:18.000 But we just celebrated the 250th anniversary of the Army at Fort Bragg.
01:58:24.000 You know, they changed the name, and we changed it back to Fort Bragg.
01:58:28.000 The people of North Carolina came up, they said, sir, we want to really have the name of Fort Bragg back.
01:58:34.000 Everybody was saying that.
01:58:35.000 They kept calling it Fort Bragg.
01:58:36.000 I changed it back.
01:58:37.000 You know, these radical left lunatics changed the name of Fort Bragg.
01:58:40.000 So we won World War II.
01:58:42.000 We won World War I. We won other wars.
01:58:46.000 We won everything from Fort Bragg and other places.
01:58:49.000 So we are also changing many of them back.
01:58:52.000 And then we decide to change the name.
01:58:53.000 Now, I tell people, you know, it's incredible.
01:58:56.000 We're the only people.
01:58:56.000 We win two world wars from a place.
01:58:58.000 And then we say, let's change the name.
01:59:00.000 So we change it back, and the people are very happy in North Carolina right now.
01:59:04.000 And we just celebrated because the 250 was for the Army, was one year earlier than the, which makes sense.
01:59:12.000 You know, we had a little army, we did well, and now we have a nation.
01:59:15.000 So it was one year earlier than the nation itself.
01:59:18.000 And we had a beautiful parade in Washington, D.C. the other day.
01:59:22.000 It was fantastic.
01:59:23.000 You know, it was amazing because it was so, the weather was so overcast and it looked so bad.
01:59:29.000 And a week before they said, oh, it's going to rain.
01:59:31.000 I said, oh, man, we're bringing all these army tanks.
01:59:33.000 We're bringing all these people, these men and women.
01:59:36.000 They're going to march down Fifth Avenue or wherever.
01:59:39.000 This is terrible.
01:59:40.000 It's going to rain.
01:59:41.000 And then on the day we woke up, rain is projected all night long, heavy.
01:59:47.000 Oh, I'm saying, I'll get my hair soaking wet.
01:59:50.000 My hair's going to be soaking wet.
01:59:55.000 I'll be crazy.
01:59:58.000 I'll say, you know, this is terrible.
02:00:00.000 It's going to rain.
02:00:01.000 One o'clock in the afternoon.
02:00:03.000 The thing was at eight in the evening.
02:00:04.000 One o'clock.
02:00:05.000 Rain is forecast at levels you haven't seen before.
02:00:09.000 I said, oh, this is that.
02:00:10.000 And so the generals called me, sir, we could change it, but this is the army.
02:00:14.000 We're sort of used to bad weather.
02:00:15.000 I said, no, don't change it.
02:00:17.000 I'll wear a raincoat and I'll wear a big fat hat so I don't get totally drenched.
02:00:22.000 I'll be okay.
02:00:23.000 I'm such a tough cookie.
02:00:24.000 And then what happens?
02:00:26.000 We get there and there's no rain and we go one hour, two hours, three hours of watching these great guys marching down Fifth Avenue.
02:00:34.000 It never rained.
02:00:35.000 And then I thought to myself, global warming, they're telling us what's going to happen in 250 years to our planet, but they can't tell us it's going to rain three hours before the event.
02:00:47.000 In 250 years from now, the planet's going to burn up or freeze up.
02:00:52.000 And you know, remember when they said they called it global warming, then global cooling?
02:00:58.000 They had all different things.
02:01:00.000 Now they just change it to climate change, because climate change you can't miss.
02:01:05.000 How's it doing?
02:01:06.000 Climate change, every time, if it's cold, if it's hot, if it's rainy, if it's sunny, if it's too crazy, we have climate change.
02:01:12.000 But think of it.
02:01:13.000 They're telling you what's going to happen 100 years.
02:01:16.000 The oceans are going to rise a quarter of an inch and everyone's going to be wiped out.
02:01:19.000 No, you're going to have more ocean foot property if that happens.
02:01:22.000 It's okay.
02:01:24.000 Not the worst.
02:01:25.000 And think of it with all of the nuclear weapons.
02:01:28.000 Remember Biden in those years you say, it's an existential threat.
02:01:35.000 He loves the word existential.
02:01:37.000 It's an existential threat.
02:01:39.000 What is?
02:01:40.000 I don't know, climate change.
02:01:43.000 Remember that?
02:01:44.000 That's dangerous too, because they're going to take that.
02:01:48.000 And they're going to say, he couldn't say existential.
02:01:52.000 So you can't imitate people either.
02:01:54.000 Remember I used to imitate Biden, couldn't get off the stage, and I'd walk into walls?
02:01:59.000 And I called my wife, because it's always on television, and she said, I said, how was it, baby?
02:02:04.000 How good was that?
02:02:05.000 We had 44,000 people.
02:02:08.000 Nobody else could do it.
02:02:09.000 I have to brag a little bit, you know, because what the hell?
02:02:12.000 It's a little truth to that.
02:02:13.000 But I brag a little bit.
02:02:14.000 I say, how good was I?
02:02:16.000 You were really good, but you know, what happened?
02:02:18.000 You couldn't find this.
02:02:19.000 You couldn't get off the stage.
02:02:21.000 I said, no, I was imitating Biden.
02:02:24.000 No, well, that's not the way it showed up.
02:02:26.000 They showed you hitting walls, bunking your head on walls.
02:02:30.000 So even like the word existential, when I imitate him saying it, tonight it's going to be on CNN.
02:02:36.000 He couldn't speak.
02:02:37.000 He couldn't say the word.
02:02:39.000 These are seriously sick people.
02:02:41.000 But now, this fall, we're also going to be celebrating 250 birthdays of the United States Navy and the United States Marines.
02:02:51.000 They're all good.
02:02:55.000 And I'm a little prejudiced, and one of them is going to be really great.
02:02:59.000 It's called Space Force, because that was my baby.
02:03:03.000 Remember, they wanted to terminate it.
02:03:05.000 First year of Biden's administration, they wanted to terminate Space Force, and the military wouldn't let them.
02:03:11.000 And it's turned out to be one of the most important there is.
02:03:13.000 I was very proud of that, Space Force, and they're doing great.
02:03:16.000 In addition, just as I promised five years ago tonight in my speech at Mount Rushmore, where a certain governor at that time, who's now our Homeland Security Chief, Christy Noam, Stand up, Christy.
02:03:30.000 Now I don't have to introduce you later.
02:03:38.000 You know, I hired Tom Holman for the border, and I said, Tom, I want you to give me who'd be the best to be the Secretary of Homeland Security, which is essentially his boss.
02:03:49.000 He said, Christy Noam, sir.
02:03:51.000 I said, Christy Noam, you got to be kidding.
02:03:54.000 She's a great person.
02:03:55.000 She's smart, but I mean, is she tough enough?
02:03:59.000 Sir, she's the toughest person around.
02:04:02.000 I said, and she is.
02:04:03.000 She's tough as hell.
02:04:04.000 I've learned.
02:04:06.000 I'll tell you, a lot of bad people have learned, and she's done a fantastic job.
02:04:10.000 Thank you.
02:04:11.000 Thank you.
02:04:13.000 But we're going to be officially opening the National Garden of American Heroes, a vast outdoor park featuring statues of the greatest Americans who ever lived.
02:04:22.000 You know, they took down a lot of our statues.
02:04:25.000 They took down statues of some of the greatest people that we've ever had living.
02:04:29.000 I stopped them from taking down Thomas Jefferson.
02:04:32.000 They wanted to take the Thomas Jefferson Memorial.
02:04:35.000 They wanted to rip the hell out of the statue inside.
02:04:38.000 You can imagine who they were going to put up.
02:04:39.000 Let's get rid of Thomas Jefferson.
02:04:41.000 So we stopped them.
02:04:43.000 We signed a law.
02:04:44.000 Do you remember that night?
02:04:44.000 It was crazy.
02:04:46.000 And they were marching toward the Jefferson Memorial, and I took out an old bill from 1909.
02:04:52.000 And it was a bill that if you so much as touch, old, because today they don't do these things.
02:04:56.000 They don't do it like they used to.
02:04:58.000 Today you could never get it passed.
02:04:59.000 It said, if you so much as touch a monument or a statue, you go to jail for a 10-year period.
02:05:06.000 No anything.
02:05:08.000 So they were marching down there.
02:05:11.000 And in the middle of their march, I gave a news conference.
02:05:14.000 I said, anybody that touches and I'm signing immediately goes to jail for a 10-year period.
02:05:19.000 That march broke up so quickly you've never seen.
02:05:22.000 They said, it's a miracle.
02:05:23.000 What happened?
02:05:23.000 I signed a little bill that said, you go to jail for a 10-year period.
02:05:27.000 It was a great thing.
02:05:28.000 It was an old bill that wasn't used.
02:05:30.000 In fact, I don't know.
02:05:32.000 I hope we don't have to use it again.
02:05:34.000 But they're learning that, you know, we saved Los Angeles.
02:05:37.000 If we didn't send in the National Guard, I would have said it in the military if they needed it.
02:05:41.000 But if we didn't send in the National Guard, Los Angeles would have been burned down to the ground just like half of their houses were burned down to the ground because they didn't give water that they had plenty of.
02:05:53.000 I'm pleased to report that the one big beautiful bill includes full funding for those statues.
02:05:59.000 And we're going to do statues to our greatest Americans.
02:06:02.000 And we're going to let the people choose who they are.
02:06:04.000 You better choose me.
02:06:04.000 Now I'm only kidding.
02:06:06.000 I should take myself out.
02:06:07.000 I think I should take myself out, Susie, our great chief of staff, the first woman chief of staff.
02:06:14.000 Can you believe it?
02:06:14.000 Susie Wilde, stand up, Susie.
02:06:19.000 And that beautiful exterior, don't let it fool you.
02:06:22.000 She's rough and tough.
02:06:24.000 She got rated the most powerful woman anywhere in the world.
02:06:27.000 She can take out a country with a mere phone call, which is true.
02:06:31.000 Actually, it's very true in her case.
02:06:33.000 And she's done a great job.
02:06:34.000 We're doing okay, Susie?
02:06:36.000 Looking good.
02:06:37.000 We had a good two weeks, right?
02:06:39.000 This had to be the best two weeks.
02:06:41.000 Has anybody ever had a better two weeks?
02:06:44.000 Next, to bring back our people together, through the power of sports, America 250 will also host a brand new first of its kind youth athletes.
02:06:54.000 It's a competition known as the Patriot Games, and it features top high school athletes from all 50 states.
02:07:00.000 It's going to be great.
02:07:02.000 And this phenomenal patriotic sporting event will be nationally televised, and it will be led by our great Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who's really doing it.
02:07:18.000 He's great, and he's a little different, right?
02:07:21.000 We needed somebody different.
02:07:23.000 You know, autism, you go back, I guess, 18 years, 10,000, think of this, out of 10,000 people, okay?
02:07:34.000 10,000 people, and I'll go it a little different way, right now, out of 10,000 people, 18 people don't have, they're safe.
02:07:46.000 18 people.
02:07:48.000 We have a statistic on autism that's the worst I've ever seen, and he's going to change it.
02:07:53.000 He's going to change it.
02:07:55.000 It used to be 20 years ago, you just didn't have it.
02:07:59.000 And now it's numbers that are unbelievable, unbelievable, where the numbers are so bad, it's got to be artificially induced, and we're going to find out what it is, and when we're going to find it out as soon as possible.
02:08:17.000 I mean, you think about it, the numbers have increased by 200-fold, and that's really something, and we're going to get to the bottom of it.
02:08:26.000 That's a terrible situation.
02:08:28.000 Likewise, under the leadership of Secretary Bergham, who's here right now, he was a great governor of North Carolina.
02:08:37.000 Great governor of North Dakota.
02:08:39.000 Where is he?
02:08:40.000 Where is he?
02:08:42.000 Mr. Secretary.
02:08:44.000 And he's in charge of energy plus a lot of land.
02:08:48.000 He's the biggest landlord, I guess, in the world.
02:08:50.000 But he was a great governor of North Dakota.
02:08:53.000 And he was very special in so many ways.
02:08:56.000 He became an energy expert.
02:08:58.000 And he came to me, and I said, I want you to be the head of energy.
02:09:01.000 He said, no, we have one man that's better than me, and that was Chris, right?
02:09:05.000 And put him in charge, and we merged the two.
02:09:08.000 And he's got all the land with all the oil, and the other one has all the expertise to get the oil out of the land.
02:09:14.000 And Chris is doing great, and you're doing great, Doug.
02:09:16.000 And I appreciate it.
02:09:17.000 And say hello to Catherine and everybody.
02:09:20.000 You're doing a great job.
02:09:21.000 We have a great cabinet.
02:09:26.000 So every one of our national park battlefields and historic sites are going to have special events in honor of America 250.
02:09:34.000 And I even think we're going to have a UFC fight.
02:09:36.000 Does anybody watch UFC, The Great Day in the World?
02:09:40.000 We're going to have a UFC fight.
02:09:42.000 We're going to have a UFC fight.
02:09:44.000 Think of this on the grounds of the White House.
02:09:48.000 We have a lot of land there.
02:09:49.000 We're going to build a little.
02:09:50.000 We're not.
02:09:51.000 Dana's going to do it.
02:09:52.000 Dana's great.
02:09:53.000 One of a kind.
02:09:54.000 We're going to have a UFC fight, championship fight, full fight, like 20,000, 25,000 people.
02:10:00.000 And we're going to do that as part of 250.
02:10:02.000 Also, we're going to have some incredible events, some professional events, some amateur events, but the UFC fight's going to be a big deal too.
02:10:09.000 And to fund improvements and enhanced experiences across the park system, for this anniversary, I've just signed.
02:10:16.000 First, we offer overnight boarding.
02:10:18.000 Your pet will stay overnight in your sitter's home and not only be treated like part of the family.
02:10:24.000 Keeping prices low for Americans, and we're going to do that.
02:10:27.000 The national parks will be about America first.
02:10:32.000 We're going to take it America first for the national parks.
02:10:35.000 And these are just a few of the many programs, initiatives, celebrations that will renew for our national pride.
02:10:42.000 We're going to have great pride.
02:10:43.000 I think we do have great pride.
02:10:44.000 I think we have more pride and more spirit in our country right now than we've had in 50 years.
02:10:50.000 USA!
02:11:03.000 And together we're going to ensure that America's 250th anniversary is the single greatest year in the history of our country.
02:11:11.000 We want to have a lot of great things.
02:11:12.000 A lot of the things that Bobby and Health and Human Services are doing are going to come up during that period of time.
02:11:18.000 And we're going to come up with a lot of tremendous things for health and safety.
02:11:23.000 And economically, we're going to have the strongest country anywhere in the world.
02:11:26.000 And the bill that we just got approved today was, think of that, all of those votes, two negative votes, but we had no Democrats, two negative votes in the Republicans out of all that.
02:11:37.000 So I want to thank those great Republicans that voted to get it in.
02:11:42.000 You know, we could only lose three if we lost three.
02:11:45.000 If we lost three, trouble.
02:11:48.000 And we didn't lose three.
02:11:49.000 We lost two, and I'm sure if I needed the two, I could have gotten them too.
02:11:53.000 But we're pleased to be joined tonight by many friends who will help make that possible, including, and I introduced Doug Bergham already from North Dakota, and just a great, he was really one of the best.
02:12:04.000 Was he a better governor than you?
02:12:06.000 Would you say, Christy, was he better than you?
02:12:08.000 I don't know.
02:12:09.000 Because they were neighbors, you know, you had North Dakota, you had South Dakota.
02:12:13.000 Brooke Rollins, thank you, Brooke.
02:12:15.000 Great job.
02:12:16.000 She's now the agricultural secretary.
02:12:18.000 Christy Noam, great governor also, but she's doing a, I don't know, this, you like this better than being governor?
02:12:25.000 Don't say.
02:12:26.000 Don't say.
02:12:27.000 They love you in the state.
02:12:28.000 Don't say.
02:12:29.000 Maybe the most important guy in this whole place.
02:12:33.000 You know, a lot of projects have stopped using environmental stuff.
02:12:39.000 A lot of projects are stopped.
02:12:40.000 They use it as a weapon, the radical left and others.
02:12:43.000 They use it as a weapon.
02:12:45.000 This man is the greatest.
02:12:46.000 He's doing a job that's incredible.
02:12:48.000 Doug would tell you that.
02:12:49.000 Everybody will tell you that.
02:12:50.000 Lee Zeldon.
02:12:51.000 He's the head of the EPA, the Environmental Protection Agency.
02:12:59.000 He's the head of it.
02:13:02.000 Great guy.
02:13:02.000 He was a great politician, a tremendous congressman.
02:13:05.000 He ran for governor of New York, which is tough.
02:13:08.000 And he almost won.
02:13:10.000 I'm glad he didn't win.
02:13:12.000 Actually, I wouldn't have you right there.
02:13:14.000 And I said, Lee, a nuclear power plant, we give you one week to get me the approval.
02:13:19.000 But he's been done great.
02:13:21.000 And we have factories and we have plants all over the world right now, and they're being built and they're going up.
02:13:27.000 Also, Governor Kim Reynolds from Iowa.
02:13:29.000 Thank you, Kim.
02:13:31.000 Thank you very much.
02:13:33.000 Thank you for being here.
02:13:34.000 Appreciate it.
02:13:35.000 Thank you very much.
02:13:38.000 And Lieutenant Governor Chris Corner.
02:13:41.000 Where's Chris?
02:13:42.000 Chris Corner.
02:13:43.000 Thank you, Chris, very much.
02:13:44.000 Great job.
02:13:47.000 You have Senator Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst.
02:13:51.000 Chuck!
02:13:52.000 Hi, Chuck.
02:13:55.000 Wow.
02:13:57.000 Wow.
02:13:58.000 That's great.
02:13:59.000 He's doing great, too.
02:14:01.000 Boy, he's got more energy than all of us.
02:14:04.000 And where's Joni?
02:14:06.000 Is Joni here?
02:14:07.000 Hi, Joni.
02:14:08.000 Very good.
02:14:09.000 Good job.
02:14:10.000 Thank you very much.
02:14:11.000 Thank you very much, Joni.
02:14:13.000 And you have members of Congress, Ashley Henson, Marionette Miller-Meeks, Zach Nunn, Randy Feenstra.
02:14:23.000 Good group.
02:14:25.000 We flew in together, and boy, they were nice.
02:14:27.000 I love, they were so happy at that victory today, weren't you, Randy?
02:14:31.000 Thank you very much.
02:14:31.000 Thank you very much.
02:14:33.000 That was great.
02:14:33.000 We had a good flight.
02:14:35.000 We have an ambassador who's been my friend for a long time, Monica Crowley.
02:14:40.000 I heard her speak.
02:14:41.000 I thought she did really well.
02:14:43.000 Thank you, Monica.
02:14:45.000 And you know Matt Whitaker, a man from Iowa, ambassador to NATO.
02:14:53.000 We also had a person, I have to give her credit, Brenna Bird, Attorney General.
02:14:59.000 She came out and she endorsed me very early, and I appreciate her.
02:15:03.000 Where's Brenna?
02:15:04.000 Hi, Brenna.
02:15:06.000 She came out, she endorsed me.
02:15:07.000 I said, thank you very much.
02:15:08.000 Who the hell is that?
02:15:09.000 She's great.
02:15:11.000 Former state senator Brad Zahn.
02:15:13.000 Oh, my man.
02:15:15.000 There he is.
02:15:15.000 I haven't seen you.
02:15:17.000 He was the first man in the entire country that endorsed me, right?
02:15:22.000 Not just from Iowa.
02:15:24.000 He endorsed me three months before I ran.
02:15:27.000 He said, that guy from New York should run.
02:15:30.000 So I want to thank you.
02:15:31.000 Really great.
02:15:32.000 You're looking good, too.
02:15:33.000 He's like the Marlboro man.
02:15:35.000 He looks like the Marlboro man.
02:15:37.000 Handsome guy.
02:15:38.000 Iowa Speaker, Pat Grassley.
02:15:41.000 Pat, thank you very much, Pat.
02:15:43.000 Good.
02:15:43.000 Nice to see you, Pat.
02:15:46.000 Iowa Senate Majority Leader, Jack Whitfer.
02:15:50.000 Thank you, Jack.
02:15:54.000 Thank you, Jack.
02:15:55.000 Iowa House Majority Leader-elect, Bobby Kaufman.
02:16:00.000 Thank you, Bobby.
02:16:02.000 Great future.
02:16:04.000 Great future.
02:16:05.000 A friend of mine, Dan Newland, who's the most generous human being.
02:16:08.000 He gives away.
02:16:09.000 He hears somebody's in trouble.
02:16:11.000 He hears somebody's in trouble and he goes wild and he's just a very good guy.
02:16:16.000 And Jeff Kaufman, the head of your party here, is so, come on, stand up, Jeff.
02:16:20.000 You can stand up.
02:16:22.000 Thank you, Jeff.
02:16:23.000 Great job.
02:16:25.000 And Jeff was with me right from the beginning.
02:16:27.000 When I was complaining about things, I'd call him.
02:16:29.000 He'd do it sometimes.
02:16:31.000 It was better as I started winning, winning, winning, right?
02:16:34.000 But Jeff has been great.
02:16:35.000 He's a great leader.
02:16:36.000 Thank you very much, Jeff, for being here.
02:16:38.000 And I have to say that Lee Greenwood has been unbelievable.
02:16:43.000 That song, where is Lee?
02:16:44.000 Is he around here?
02:16:45.000 That song, it's the hottest song of its kind, number one of its kind.
02:16:51.000 You know, it's a certain genre.
02:16:53.000 But thank you, Lee, very much.
02:16:55.000 Real great song and great talent.
02:16:58.000 This Independence Day, let's also give a very special thanks to every veteran and military service member here tonight for their outstanding devotion to our country.
02:17:10.000 And I also want to thank and thank you, fellas, stand up.
02:17:13.000 Look at them.
02:17:15.000 They're in good shape.
02:17:17.000 Thank you very much.
02:17:18.000 Wow.
02:17:20.000 That's a lot of veterans.
02:17:22.000 Thank you very much.
02:17:23.000 What an honor.
02:17:25.000 I also want to thank the large group of Iowa pastors and faith leaders for their beautiful prayers, including Pastors Joshua Kent, Tammy Hall, Joseph Hall, Corrine Sturtz,
02:17:41.000 Maureen Prakash, Aji Prakash, Dan McCoy, Rose Kessler, Michael DeJong, Jose Rodriguez, and Ministry Leaders Virginia Callaghery, Sarah Kent, and thanks also to Bob Vanderplatz.
02:18:01.000 Thank you very much, everybody.
02:18:03.000 Thank you.
02:18:03.000 Stand up.
02:18:04.000 You're the people we want to listen to.
02:18:06.000 Stand up.
02:18:08.000 Thank you.
02:18:10.000 There they are.
02:18:11.000 Look at that group.
02:18:12.000 I want to be with them.
02:18:12.000 They have the real power.
02:18:14.000 They have more power than all of us.
02:18:16.000 Thank you.
02:18:16.000 You've been so good and so supportive.
02:18:18.000 We were supported with the evangelicals 89%.
02:18:23.000 And we're looking for the other 11%.
02:18:25.000 We don't believe it.
02:18:27.000 As we prepare to celebrate two and a half centuries of freedom, I am inviting America's great religious communities to pray for our nation and for our people.
02:18:37.000 From the beginning, this has always been a country sustained and strengthened by prayer.
02:18:43.000 So important.
02:18:44.000 If we bring religion back stronger, you're going to see everything get better and better and better.
02:18:49.000 You're going to see it get better and better.
02:18:53.000 So as we chart our course toward the next 250 years, let us rededicate ourselves to one nation under God.
02:19:04.000 Right?
02:19:11.000 And as you know, recently we've seen some of our political system attempting to overthrow the timeless American principles and other pillars of our liberty and replace them with some of the most noxious ideas in human history, ideas that have been proven false.
02:19:28.000 Members of Congress and even former presidents have been openly embracing vile creeds such as socialism, Marxism, and straight-up communism.
02:19:38.000 In New York, they're trying to elect a communist, Zorin Mamdani, the guy who wants to defund the police, take over the stores and run the stores, and have the people hand out goods.
02:19:52.000 And when everything falls apart, it always does.
02:19:55.000 It always works that way.
02:19:56.000 It never has worked any other way.
02:19:58.000 Anarchy and dictatorships prevail.
02:20:02.000 This guy is a communist at the highest level, and he wants to destroy New York.
02:20:07.000 I love New York, and we're not going to let him do that.
02:20:10.000 Generations of Americans before us did not shed their blood only so that we could surrender our country to Marxist lunatics on the eve of our 250th year.
02:20:21.000 As President of the United States, I'm proclaiming here and now that America is never going to be communist in any way, shape, form.
02:20:30.000 And that includes New York City.
02:20:34.000 And under my administration, we're bringing back freedom and liberty, law and order, and above all, we're bringing back common sense, right?
02:20:43.000 Common sense.
02:20:46.000 On day one, I stopped the weaponization of government against people of faith, and we created the Department of Justice Task Force Combating Anti-Christian Bias.
02:20:58.000 And I have to tell you, Pam Bondi is doing a great job.
02:21:00.000 Pam Bondi is doing a great job.
02:21:04.000 Attorney General.
02:21:06.000 I ended the Green News scam and terminated the insurrection.
02:21:09.000 This is insane, the electric vehicle mandate where everybody had to have a car that happened to be all electric in the next few short years.
02:21:18.000 The mandate.
02:21:20.000 Some people want to have gasoline powered.
02:21:22.000 Some people want to have hybrids.
02:21:24.000 Maybe even someday hydrogen.
02:21:26.000 Right now I don't like it because when they blow up, they don't ever find the body.
02:21:31.000 They find the body about five blocks away.
02:21:33.000 That does not sound promising to me.
02:21:35.000 He said, no, it's getting better.
02:21:36.000 I said, dude, that's okay.
02:21:37.000 Let somebody else use it.
02:21:40.000 But we're not going to have all electric.
02:21:42.000 We're going to have electric if people want it.
02:21:44.000 Electric is great.
02:21:45.000 But gasoline people like better in many cases.
02:21:48.000 But you can have whatever you want.
02:21:49.000 But it's ridiculous to mandate that everybody's going to be driving an electric car in five years from now.
02:21:55.000 So I ended it.
02:21:57.000 I signed an order to begin eliminating the federal department of education and send education back to the states.
02:22:06.000 That means Iowa's going to run their own education.
02:22:11.000 You're going to have to run your own education.
02:22:14.000 Iowa, well, you know, I use you in my thoughts.
02:22:18.000 I always, whenever I say, I always say Iowa and Indiana, and I mention certain states, but you want to run your own education because you don't want the bureaucrats in Washington doing it.
02:22:28.000 And I made English the official language of our country.
02:22:36.000 You would think that would be an easy one.
02:22:38.000 It was not as easy as you think.
02:22:40.000 I directed the reinstatement of all patriots expelled from our military by the Biden vaccine mandate, returning them to their former rank with full back pay.
02:22:51.000 And I signed executive orders to abolish critical race theory and transgender insanity from our schools and from our military.
02:23:03.000 And I made an official policy of the United States that there are only two genders, male and female.
02:23:11.000 And I made an official name.
02:23:17.000 And if it's okay with Iowa, we are keeping men out of women's sports.
02:23:22.000 Is that okay?
02:23:25.000 I also renamed the Gulf of Mexico.
02:23:30.000 I renamed it to the Gulf of America.
02:23:35.000 And we're restoring the name of the greatest president, one of the truly great presidents, somebody that made our country very rich, William McKinley, to Mount McKinley in Alaska.
02:23:47.000 So in conclusion, in everything we do, we're once again defending the values, traditions, and beliefs that made every generation before us so very proud to be American.
02:24:00.000 You know that better than anybody in Iowa.
02:24:03.000 And here in Iowa and across this land, we believe that America is an exceptional nation, blessed by God.
02:24:10.000 It's really destined to be the freest, strongest, the greatest country ever to exist on the face of the earth.
02:24:17.000 And we're going to make it that way much more so than it's ever been.
02:24:21.000 We believe in the wisdom of our founders who declare that our rights do not come from bureaucrats in Washington.
02:24:28.000 Our rights come from our Creator in heaven.
02:24:31.000 That's where our rights come from.
02:24:34.000 And we reject government discrimination and so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion mandates.
02:24:40.000 They're just about washed out the window, actually.
02:24:44.000 They're just about over with.
02:24:45.000 We're just about finished.
02:24:47.000 In this country, we believe in hard work and we believe in merit.
02:24:50.000 And by the way, we're allowed to have merit.
02:24:53.000 We're now back to being a merit-based system.
02:24:56.000 We had a decision in the United States Supreme Court.
02:25:00.000 Our country is now a country based on merit.
02:25:03.000 We oppose censorship, price controls, open borders, and sex changes for children.
02:25:09.000 We support our troops, respect our police, and salute the heroes of ICE and Border Patrol.
02:25:15.000 We cherish our Constitution, and we defend free speech, free assembly, religious liberty, and the right to keep and bear arms, our Second American.
02:25:29.000 We take our pride in our heritage, and we want it in a beautiful heritage that we have, and we teach our children to love our country, honor our history, and always respect our great American flag.
02:25:43.000 You have to respect our flag.
02:25:49.000 From Philadelphia to Phoenix, from Gettysburg to the Golden Gate Bridge, and from factories of Detroit to the fairgrounds of Des Moines, we stand on the shoulders of heroes and legends who crossed the oceans, blazed the trails, tamed the wilderness, settled the continent, raised up those beautiful skyscrapers, and stood tall and defiant in the face of tyranny and death.
02:26:15.000 From 1776 all the way through today, American patriots have won triumph after triumph.
02:26:21.000 We've had victory after victory and let nothing stand in the way of the USA, which we love so much.
02:26:29.000 It was hardworking citizens like you who won our independence, secured our liberty, and built this country with courage, grit, and skill.
02:26:38.000 And starting right here in Iowa, it's such a great place, and I hope you love it, but it's such a great place.
02:26:45.000 You should love it.
02:26:47.000 You should love it.
02:26:50.000 You know, sometimes you take things for granted.
02:26:53.000 This is one of the really great places, but I've been all over.
02:26:56.000 It was hardworking citizens like you who saved our country in November 2024.
02:27:03.000 Think of that, November 25th.
02:27:04.000 Who would have thought there'd be this much of a change this fast?
02:27:07.000 I didn't even think it would happen this fast.
02:27:09.000 Happened at a level that nobody even thought possible.
02:27:13.000 Again, we have the hottest country anywhere in the world.
02:27:16.000 Today, with your help, America is free, America is proud, and America is sovereign once more.
02:27:22.000 And this 4th of July, our magnificent destiny is closer than ever before.
02:27:27.000 We are one people, one family, and one united American nation.
02:27:32.000 We will never give in.
02:27:33.000 We will never give up.
02:27:34.000 We will never back down.
02:27:36.000 And we will never, ever, ever surrender.
02:27:39.000 We will fight, fight, fight.
02:27:41.000 We will win, win, win because we are Americans and our hearts bleed red, white, and blue.
02:27:57.000 And together, as we look forward to the 250th year of American independence, we will make America powerful again.
02:28:08.000 We will make America wealthy again.
02:28:12.000 We will make America healthy again.
02:28:16.000 We will make America strong.
02:28:20.000 Since the dawn of time, man has been plagued by inch and irritation from not wiping fully clean.
02:28:27.000 We will make America safe again.
02:28:31.000 And we will make America great again.
02:28:35.000 Thank you, Iowa.
02:28:36.000 Thank you.
02:28:37.000 Thank you very much.
02:28:39.000 Thank you, Iowa.
02:28:40.000 Come on, Iowa.
02:28:42.000 Come on, Iowa.
