Biden announces a ban on Russian oil imports and blames it on the crisis in Ukraine. Gas prices have hit a new record high, but it's all a shell game to blame Russia. We need to be self sufficient and energy independent, not dependent on other countries for our needs and wants to remain dependent on enemies to supply us with our energy needs. It's time to open up the spigot to our own energy independence and stop being dependent on our enemies to provide our own needs and want to be free of our enemies. We should be looking to Iran and Venezuela to make up for the lack of supplies from Russia, not to mention other countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Venezuela, to fill the void left by our dependence on other nations for our oil needs. I'll explain why this is a bad idea, and why we should be focusing on our own supplies, not other nations' supplies, and what we can do about it. I'll also talk about the Keystone XL pipeline and why it's a disaster waiting to happen, and how we should focus on our domestic energy production and infrastructure to make us more self sufficient, not less dependent on foreign suppliers.
