Biden announces a ban on Russian oil imports and blames it on the crisis in Ukraine. Gas prices have hit a new record high, but it's all a shell game to blame Russia. We need to be self sufficient and energy independent, not dependent on other countries for our needs and wants to remain dependent on enemies to supply us with our energy needs. It's time to open up the spigot to our own energy independence and stop being dependent on our enemies to provide our own needs and want to be free of our enemies. We should be looking to Iran and Venezuela to make up for the lack of supplies from Russia, not to mention other countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Venezuela, to fill the void left by our dependence on other nations for our oil needs. I'll explain why this is a bad idea, and why we should be focusing on our own supplies, not other nations' supplies, and what we can do about it. I'll also talk about the Keystone XL pipeline and why it's a disaster waiting to happen, and how we should focus on our domestic energy production and infrastructure to make us more self sufficient, not less dependent on foreign suppliers. Let's make sure we can take care of ourselves, and not rely on others to supply our needs, and our enemies, and get our energy without having to rely on them to do it for us. 00:00:08.000The Biden administration is clearly trying to blame the crisis in Ukraine.
00:00:11.000And now, finally, after weeks, after weeks of watching what Russia is doing, still sending them approximately $50 million a day in oil revenue.
00:00:22.000You know, other sanctions they put on there, they weren't touching that one for a while.
00:00:25.000It was, no, we won't, no, we won't, no, we won't, maybe.
00:00:27.000Now they're saying, yes, they're going to finally ban Russian oil imports.
00:00:31.000Doesn't really solve the problem because you know where they're going to?
00:00:34.000They're going to look at Iran and Venezuela to make up the difference.
00:00:56.000But we're not looking to our neighbors.
00:00:58.000We're not looking to Texas, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Ohio.
00:01:03.000We're not looking to oil producing states.
00:01:06.000Alaska. We're looking to Iran and Venezuela to make up the difference.
00:01:12.000And for the last few weeks, until they said they're going to implement this ban, also Russia.
00:01:17.000We'd rather do it from that trio of evil, give them millions of dollars a day, than create good, hard-working, good-paying jobs in America to be self-sufficient and energy independent like we were under my father.
00:01:30.000We won't do that because they don't care.
00:01:33.000Jen Psaki can get on TV. They're doing everything in their power.
00:01:41.000They're going to blame Russia as though gas prices weren't almost doubled in the year prior to anyone hearing about a crisis in Ukraine, right?
00:01:49.000That will be conveniently neglected by the administration, by the media, okay?
00:01:55.000And we're going to ban oil imports from Russia.
00:01:58.000I think that's probably the right call.
00:02:00.000But shouldn't we? Come to America to make up the difference rather than just jumping ship to, say, Iran, the world's leading state sponsor of terror, who, by the way, Russia is acting as a moderator in our talks to talk back about the Iran nuclear deal.
00:02:15.000I mean, think about how insane this is.
00:02:17.000We're going to give it to Venezuela, a regime we didn't recognize, and Iran.
00:02:21.000We were giving it to Russia for weeks, $50 million a day times the amount of days.
00:02:25.000It's a lot of money. We're essentially fueling their war in Ukraine.
00:02:30.000It's a prime opportunity for us to reset American energy independence.
00:02:38.000Drilling on public lands will do it better, cheaper, safer than we will anywhere else.
00:02:43.000So doing what Joe Biden is doing without simultaneously green lighting domestic energy production It's a disaster waiting to happen because they don't care, folks.
00:02:57.000They want to push you as Pete Buttigieg says, you know, get an electronic car.
00:03:01.000They don't talk about the fact that they're more expensive than regular cars for regular Americans.
00:03:05.000They don't talk about the rare earth minerals that are required, lithium for example, to build the batteries for said car, are produced in third world countries under terrible conditions and totally dominated by China.
00:03:18.000So the fact that there's not even enough supply there means nothing.
00:03:22.000But China has the monopoly on being able to do that.
00:03:26.000So Biden's going to ban Russian oil and then blame them for high gas prices and attack anyone who points out that his entire administration was built around ending dependence on natural gas and oil.
00:03:40.000So even if prices went up, it's all a shell game, folks.
00:03:49.000He's doing it now because the pressure is so much.
00:03:52.000Prices are going to go up and they'll tell us they're doing everything in their power, but they're not because they won't let you in Texas or the other oil producing states take care of ourselves.
00:04:03.000We're going to remain dependent on some of our enemies.
