Triggered - Donald Trump Jr

LIVE FROM CPAC: With Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan | TRIGGERED Ep. 12

Summary

Jim Jordan, head of the House Judiciary Committee, joins us live from CPAC to talk about why we need to fight back against the woke agenda and why you should vote for Donald Trump in the 2020 election. Plus, Hershey's launches a H.E.R. campaign with a dude, Faye Johnstone, to celebrate Women's Month, and calls BS on the idea that a biological man can be the face of women. Also, a major media outlet uses the word "motherfucker" in a sentence that could have been used to describe a woman, and it's not even close to being a good one. Triggered is a production of Gimlet Media and is brought to you Live from the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) where hundreds of conservative activists are gathered to discuss all things political, social, and cultural. Please remember to vote in the "STAND UP FOR OUR SONGS" straw poll and tell us what you think about it in the comments section below! and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE on Apple Podcasts and leave us a rating and review! 00:00:00.000 Guys, welcome to another amazing episode of Triggered.
00:00:04.000 Tonight's not going to disappoint.
00:00:05.000 We have Jim Jordan here, head of the House Judiciary Committee, all-around American badass.
00:00:11.000 It's going to be really exciting.
00:00:12.000 We're actually live.
00:00:13.000 This is the first live episode from Triggered with an audience because we're at CPAC and we got people filling in all over the place.
00:00:20.000 It's going to add a little bit of an element of pressure, but so far the crowd at CPAC is amazing.
00:00:34.000 Before we get to this hat.
00:00:36.000 has tickets.
00:00:37.000 If you go find him, introduce yourself, he's got tickets to the reception with all of our president, the big guy himself, not the 10% for the big guy president, but my dad, President Donald Trump.
00:00:49.000 So if you're at CPAC, you find the guy wearing this hat, he's gonna give you tickets to the VIP reception with DJT and you're gonna have a blast.
00:00:57.000 Also, if you're at CPAC, don't forget to vote in the CPAC straw poll so we can have Trump as president yet again.
00:01:06.000 We can drive the liberals crazy and make sure we have a president who will put America first.
00:01:13.000 Hard to believe we're even in a fight about that, but we've seen what's going on with Joe Biden and the Democrats, and we realize we gotta fight for these things.
00:01:20.000 So, before we get to our amazing guest tonight, Jim Jordan, we've got a little news of the week, okay?
00:01:28.000 Hershey's, as in Hershey's chocolate, this week decided to celebrate Women's Month
00:01:36.000 With a dude!
00:01:39.000 With a dude, folks!
00:01:41.000 They recently released a video for their H.E.R.
00:01:47.000 campaign.
00:01:47.000 Think about this, folks.
00:01:48.000 It's a H.E.R.
00:01:49.000 campaign and the face of it is a biological man named Faye.
00:01:54.000 You gotta watch this thing.
00:01:56.000 It's crazy.
00:01:57.000 My name is Faye Johnstone.
00:01:59.000 I'm the executive director of Wisdom to Action.
00:02:02.000 We can create a world where everyone is able to live in public space as their honest and authentic selves.
00:02:08.000 See the woman changing how we see the future at Hershey's Canada.
00:02:12.000 Okay, so Hershey's is launching their Her campaign with a dude.
00:02:20.000 Like, I don't know.
00:02:22.000 If I were a chauvinist, folks, I would say that Hershey's is saying that
00:02:27.000 Men are apparently even better at being women than women.
00:02:33.000 Doesn't seem like what I'd choose as a guy with a marketing major from Wharton to promote Women's Month, but we live in insane times.
00:02:43.000 So, Faye is
00:02:46.000 The 2SLGBTQIA plus advocate.
00:02:53.000 Because LGBT doesn't cover the other 9,476 freaking genders there are these days.
00:02:58.000 So it's the 2-5LGBTQIA plus advocate.
00:03:09.000 This is a 21st century chocolate company.
00:03:14.000 This is where they're going.
00:03:16.000 This is why we need to fight back against the insanity of the woke agenda every day.
00:03:22.000 Do not give an inch.
00:03:24.000 They're essentially erasing women in Women's Month by pretending a biological man can be the face of women.
00:03:32.000 And guys, do what you want to do.
00:03:35.000 When you're an adult, if you want to do this, I actually couldn't give a shit.
00:03:39.000 But, but, if you're gonna make this the face, if you're gonna jam this down our throats, if you're gonna indoctrinate our children with this garbage, that's when I start having a problem with it.
00:03:50.000 And Hershey's is doing just that.
00:03:51.000 So folks,
00:03:52.000 I hate to do this to these legacy American companies, but if this is the direction they're going, stop giving them your money.
00:04:01.000 It's the only way we win this war.
00:04:04.000 They're just taking cues from the press and the woke media, thinking, hey man, rather than being normal, if we do this, it's an easy existence.
00:04:13.000 But that existence seems to me to be designed to erase everything
00:04:20.000 That is our history.
00:04:21.000 Everything that we've known, everything that is good and decent, and everything that is the foundation of America.
00:04:28.000 Don't let it happen.
00:04:29.000 Call them out.
00:04:30.000 Call BS.
00:04:31.000 And become unafraid.
00:04:32.000 I think as they're going so insane, people are actually waking up and putting an end to some of this nonsense.
00:04:37.000 I hope we're shutting them down, but
00:04:40.000 You never know.
00:04:41.000 Do it.
00:04:41.000 If you sit back and watch it happen and just bitch in your mind or maybe a little bit on Twitter, that ain't gonna change anything.
00:04:48.000 We gotta fight back.
00:04:49.000 Fight back with your wallet.
00:04:51.000 Vote with your wallet.
00:04:52.000 Don't support them anymore.
00:04:54.000 So, a new report from Politico, a major Washington D.C.
00:04:59.000 media outlet, told staff this week that the word mother... Mother.
00:05:08.000 Is now offensive.
00:05:11.000 You heard that right.
00:05:12.000 Not motherfucker.
00:05:13.000 That I would understand, maybe.
00:05:15.000 Perhaps I use it a little bit too much myself.
00:05:17.000 But just the word mother, by itself, nothing before or after, is offensive.
00:05:25.000 Reporters who use the term mother were threatened with sensitivity training and a style guide
00:05:34.000 It's said to also avoid the term pregnant woman because in 2023 bizarro insano world apparently men can get pregnant so it's offensive.
00:05:48.000 Stop.
00:05:50.000 Stop.
00:05:53.000 A major political journalism institution is saying the word mother is offensive.
00:06:01.000 What does that tell you about the news that these people are giving you every day?
00:06:05.000 What does that tell you about the filter that they put on everything that you read that gets aggregated and put in your hometown paper that your children see and make decisions on?
00:06:14.000 These people are insane.
00:06:16.000 Stop getting your news from them.
00:06:19.000 Liberals hate America.
00:06:22.000 Liberals hate life.
00:06:24.000 There's a reason the levels of depression amongst those who are very liberal is through the roof, because nothing makes them happy.
00:06:33.000 And they are willing to suck the joy, the decency, out of literally everything in existence.
00:06:40.000 Again, we gotta push back, but we gotta remember that these are people that are thought leaders.
00:06:45.000 These are people that carry
00:06:48.000 The news to the rest of the country.
00:06:50.000 It ends up in your small town.
00:06:52.000 It's not just in liberal crazy cities.
00:06:56.000 And you see the results that they're getting.
00:06:58.000 Speaking of which, Lori Lightfoot, the mayor of Chicago,
00:07:04.000 Many refer to her as Beetlejuice because there seems to be an uncanny resemblance.
00:07:08.000 Lost her bid for re-election this week.
00:07:11.000 She lost to a straight white man.
00:07:13.000 I'm sure he's a lib.
00:07:14.000 I'm sure he's probably equally crazy in terms of policy.
00:07:17.000 But because that happened, she's now blaming it on the fact that it's somehow racist and that because she's a woman.
00:07:24.000 Because again, everything is racism.
00:07:27.000 And climate change.
00:07:28.000 There's no excuse for anything else that we don't like in the world other than racism and climate change and perhaps chauvinism because she's a woman.
00:07:35.000 It has nothing to do with the fact that she did a shitty job, that Chicago is like a war zone, that we haven't seen a positive article about anything in Chicago in the years that she was mayor.
00:07:47.000 It has nothing to do with that, folks.
00:07:48.000 It has to do with racism.
00:07:51.000 Because of course it does.
00:07:52.000 Because everything does.
00:07:54.000 And again, if she's a woman, you can also drop the dual checkbox of it's against women and it's somehow chauvinistic.
00:08:00.000 I hope Chicago, a once great city, can recover from the disaster that was Lori Lightfoot's mayoral hood.
00:08:09.000 I don't know.
00:08:10.000 Seems like the rest of the politicians sort of feel the same way, so I don't know that anything will change.
00:08:14.000 But at least voters are sending a message.
00:08:17.000 The insanity has to stop.
00:08:20.000 So, speaking of insanity, and I think this may end up being a good segue into Jim Jordan, the Justice Department has been called out for using SWAT teams to target pro-life activists around the country.
00:08:35.000 They have not brought one charge against Antifa.
00:08:38.000 Remember the Summer of Love?
00:08:40.000 People murdered.
00:08:41.000 Businesses burned to the ground.
00:08:43.000 Billions of dollars worth of damage.
00:08:45.000 I was told it was a mostly peaceful protest by reporters with buildings burning in the background who simultaneously got hit in the head with bricks.
00:08:53.000 But somehow we were told that it was a mostly peaceful protest.
00:08:57.000 They haven't brought one charge against Antifa.
00:08:59.000 But if you're pro-life,
00:09:03.000 You don't want to rip a baby out of the womb at ten months, or as one Princeton professor wrote a paper, a professor at Princeton wrote a paper, there should be abortion up to the age of six.
00:09:14.000 Not six months.
00:09:16.000 Not six months during pregnancy.
00:09:19.000 The age of six, like a grown toddler.
00:09:23.000 These people, again, are insane.
00:09:26.000 The media won't put that out there.
00:09:28.000 You won't read about it because they're worried about the backlash and they're trying to protect it, but this is the direction that they want to go.
00:09:34.000 So, Ted Cruz confronted Attorney General Merrick Garland about this yesterday.
00:09:40.000 Watch the clip and see for yourself.
00:09:43.000 I sent 70 United States Marshals- Let me try again.
00:09:47.000 Has the Department of Justice brought even a single case under this statute?
00:09:50.000 Say yes, no question.
00:09:51.000 It's not a give a speech on the other things you did.
00:09:54.000 The job of the United States Marshals is to defend the lives of the- So the answer is no.
00:09:58.000 Is to defend the lives of the justices and that's our number one priority.
00:10:02.000 Why are you unwilling to say no?
00:10:04.000 The answer's no.
00:10:05.000 You know it's no.
00:10:06.000 I know it's no.
00:10:06.000 Everyone in this hearing room knows it's no.
00:10:09.000 You're not willing to answer a question.
00:10:10.000 Have you brought a case under this statute?
00:10:12.000 Yes or no?
00:10:12.000 Guys, these people are nothing but evil.
00:10:14.000 Remember, billions in damage, murder, looting, arson, because it's okay to steal and rob a Gucci store if it's in the name of social justice, right?
00:10:38.000 Nothing happened.
00:10:39.000 Merrick Garland is the leader of that, and he's not letting anything happen to those people.
00:10:44.000 But if you're a pro-life activist, you can get swatted with SWAT teams coming to your door.
00:10:50.000 Look at what they did to Roger Stone.
00:10:53.000 Look at the raid on Mar-a-Lago to collect documents with the FBI's hostage rescue team.
00:10:59.000 Overkill, some might say, unless you're trying to deliver a message to the people and instill fear.
00:11:06.000 If you're trying to scare your political enemies, that's a great way to do it.
00:11:11.000 So, of course Merrick Garland had no answer.
00:11:16.000 DJT has been fighting this weaponization.
00:11:20.000 Jim Jordan is on the committee, gonna be doing that.
00:11:24.000 So stick around, you're gonna love this interview.
00:11:27.000 And we have to go after these people hard.
00:11:30.000 We cannot let them run out the clock.
00:11:32.000 We cannot let them stall.
00:11:34.000 They will do everything in their power.
00:11:36.000 And it's not like it's just Jim Jordan and his committee fighting back.
00:11:40.000 It's the entire mainstream media covering up for it.
00:11:43.000 It's entire big tech and search engines and Google and of course social media pretending like these things aren't happening.
00:11:51.000 So when someone can get ripped out of their home with armed guards and a SWAT team simply for being pro-life and then no charges filed, a jury finds that they're not guilty in less than an hour,
00:12:02.000 They wanted to hang these people out to dry.
00:12:05.000 You see, whether it's that or Kyle Rittenhouse, you see what we're up against.
00:12:09.000 Look at the insanity.
00:12:10.000 Look at the actual criminals, right?
00:12:13.000 If you're a concerned mother, and you go to your PTA meeting, you're a domestic terrorist according to these same people.
00:12:19.000 If you're an actual terrorist that drives through a Christmas parade,
00:12:24.000 A car did it.
00:12:25.000 The car did it.
00:12:26.000 Because, you know, I guess we're approaching the time where maybe there's self-driving cars.
00:12:31.000 But that wasn't it.
00:12:33.000 When you have a racist on the other side that doesn't fit the narrative, and you see the media doing it, they pray each and every time one of these instances is that it's a conservative white male in a MAGA hat with an AR-15.
00:12:45.000 You can see him just chomping at the bit.
00:12:48.000 They start spreading the innuendo, and then the second that's not true, boom!
00:12:52.000 It's as though it never happened.
00:12:54.000 So that's what we're up against, and don't ever forget it.
00:12:58.000 So guys, this show's gonna be awesome.
00:13:00.000 We got Jim Jordan here, but before we do that, I really want to thank
00:13:03.000 Our sponsors, okay?
00:13:04.000 To sponsor a show like this where I'll say the stuff that actually matters, that we're actually thinking, and perhaps the things that I have a perspective on from having been in the room for the last few years that others don't.
00:13:16.000 Remember, I used to believe the lies myself six years ago until I was in the room and then I read the story and realized that what actually happens and what we're told oftentimes have nothing to do at all
00:13:29.000 With each other.
00:13:30.000 So it takes guts to sponsor a show like this, but this allows us to do this.
00:13:33.000 It allows us to travel to places like this, to interview with the people that you want to hear from, and to have the long-form kind of conversations that we all need to hear.
00:13:41.000 So I want to thank, first and foremost, Gold Co., our initial sponsor.
00:13:46.000 So again,
00:13:47.000 Let's be honest, guys.
00:13:48.000 It takes guts to support a show like this.
00:13:51.000 And that's why I want to make sure to tell you about Gold Co.
00:13:55.000 You can see them at donjrgold.com.
00:13:58.000 But gold and silver can protect your retirement savings from inflation and dollar devaluation.
00:14:04.000 We're watching that happen
00:14:05.000 Before our very eyes.
00:14:07.000 You can roll over your 401k or your IRA into precious metals just to safeguard your savings from the insanity that we're talking about on this show literally every day, okay?
00:14:17.000 Owning tangible, physical, inflation-hedging gold and silver can help diversify your portfolio.
00:14:23.000 And from what I saw in the insanity of 2008, that may be a good call right now, right?
00:14:29.000 You see the decisions they're making.
00:14:30.000 You see the cost of everything.
00:14:33.000 Whether it's groceries to gas, you see interest rates going through the roof.
00:14:37.000 From precious metals to IRAs to direct purchases of gold and silver, Gold Co.
00:14:41.000 has helped thousands of Americans diversify their retirement savings.
00:14:46.000 Support companies who support you instead of those who would throw you in the gulags.
00:14:51.000 Those woke companies.
00:14:52.000 You're going to be looking at these things anyway.
00:14:54.000 Take the time to find those who share your values and support them.
00:14:57.000 You know, put their kid through hockey practice or whatever it may be.
00:15:00.000 So go to Gold Co.
00:15:01.000 If you're looking to do this, it's probably a good idea given what's going on in the world.
00:15:05.000 That's DonJrGold.com.
00:15:07.000 D-O-N-J-R-Gold.com.
00:15:11.000 Now, if you're a small business owner with like W-2 employees, because those are the people I love as well.
00:15:17.000 That's the lifeblood of America.
00:15:19.000 You can now qualify for up to $26,000 per employee, okay, in terms of savings.
00:15:26.000 That's possible through a program called ERC.
00:15:29.000 This is not a loan, and if you qualify, you don't even have to pay it back.
00:15:34.000 ThePatriotsAtMaxRefund.com slash Don Jr.
00:15:39.000 Use that one so they know where it's coming from.
00:15:41.000 Our sponsors got to know where it's coming from.
00:15:43.000 MaxRefund.com slash Don Jr.
00:15:46.000 so they keep supporting this kind of media and this kind of news are the experts in ERC and they'll ensure that you secure the maximum amount of money you deserve on your ERC refund.
00:15:57.000 Visit MaxRefund.com slash Don Jr.
00:16:01.000 To qualify today.
00:16:02.000 And again, guys, if you're a small business, take advantage of these programs, right?
00:16:05.000 People who got their degrees in underwater basket weaving and are shocked that they have half a million dollars in student loans are doing whatever they can to take advantage of government programs to make sure that you get to pay for their education even if they themselves are not willing to.
00:16:20.000 You should take advantage of these same programs yourself.
00:16:23.000 If you're a small business owner with W-2 employees, visit maxrefund.com slash d-o-n-j-r for yourself today and take advantage of these programs.
00:16:33.000 Everyone else is.
00:16:34.000 At least you're a small business.
00:16:35.000 At least you're creating something unlike the clowns on the left.
00:16:38.000 So thanks a lot, guys.
00:16:39.000 And with that, we're going to go to our incredible guest.
00:16:43.000 Guys, as I said, we're back on another amazing episode of Triggered with an all-round badass.
00:16:50.000 Not just a badass in Congress and on TV, but a badass that started out as a badass a long time ago.
00:16:57.000 A long time ago.
00:16:59.000 I guess national champion wrestler.
00:17:00.000 A long time ago.
00:17:01.000 Jim, how do you go from
00:17:04.000 National champion multiple time, I guess, wrestler, to Congress.
00:17:08.000 What's that transition like?
00:17:10.000 Actually, not much of a transition at all, because you're always fighting the left.
00:17:14.000 Except the Democrats are a little bit more greasy than the opponents that you are wrestling.
00:17:18.000 Yeah, and they come at you.
00:17:19.000 It's not just one opponent.
00:17:20.000 You've got them coming, as you know, from all sides.
00:17:23.000 But no, look, I was in coaching and it was either time to try to be a head coach in the Big Ten or do something different.
00:17:29.000 And I was getting sick of government taking all your money and telling you what to do and insulting your values.
00:17:34.000 And I said, I'm going to run for office.
00:17:35.000 And so I've been in politics a while now.
00:17:37.000 But there's some similarities, like a good committee hearing.
00:17:41.000 Yeah.
00:17:42.000 When you believe and sort of know that that witness has lied to the folks that I get the privilege of representing back in the 4th District of Ohio.
00:17:49.000 Then you've sort of got to treat it like a wrestling match and you've got to be pretty aggressive and go after them.
00:17:49.000 Yeah.
00:17:53.000 You know what, I actually wasn't even going to go here with this, but you were one of the guys when I was being subpoenaed and when I was testifying in front of the, you know, for treason, right?
00:18:01.000 Crime punishable by death according to Pencil Next Shift.
00:18:05.000 But you were one of the guys in the room, and I was a baby at this stuff.
00:18:08.000 This is now six years ago basically, early Russia, Russia.
00:18:11.000 I'm wondering what the hell I'm even doing in the room.
00:18:14.000 You're right because it is that match like you actually in that room to me were able to redirect questions that were sort of gotcha that I probably wasn't thinking about because maybe even at the time I was naive but you were able to sort of be like and Don Junior what do you think and I was like oh that's I get it like it wasn't
00:18:32.000 We were all naive, frankly, at the time, what they were trying to do.
00:18:35.000 We just never thought they would turn the government on a presidential candidate, then turn it on his family, and it was all a bunch of made-up baloney.
00:18:44.000 But I think what we learned from all that was just how aggressive the left is.
00:18:50.000 Unfortunately, today, there is no trying to get along with the left.
00:18:52.000 You just got to stop them, because where they want to take the country
00:18:55.000 How they have, in many ways, made the government so politically focused on targeting their opposition, which is what they did to you and your family, that is frightening.
00:19:06.000 And that's what we have to fully expose and then pass legislation to help remedy that situation.
00:19:12.000 So, I mean, so how do you do that, right?
00:19:14.000 Obviously, you know, we're, I always say we're not in a fair fight, right?
00:19:17.000 It's not your ideas versus theirs or mine.
00:19:20.000 It's their ideas boosted by big tech, boosted by mainstream media, boosted by, you know, everyone, you know, I read the polls the other day, you know, something like 50% of women identified as LGBTQIA, not because they actually were, but because
00:19:36.000 There's a social consequence to not being that right now.
00:19:39.000 So how do we actually win that battle?
00:19:42.000 Because so many Republicans refuse to engage.
00:19:45.000 Well, that's step one.
00:19:47.000 Get off the sidelines and get in the game.
00:19:48.000 And you, you do it more than anyone.
00:19:51.000 Hey, once you put me in the firing squad, you bag me in a corner, I'm gonna fight.
00:19:51.000 God bless you.
00:19:56.000 I found that out.
00:19:57.000 But in the way you described it, it's the template.
00:20:00.000 And it's so true.
00:20:01.000 The left will tell the lie.
00:20:03.000 Big media will report the lie.
00:20:05.000 Big tech will amplify the lie.
00:20:07.000 Then when you try to tell the truth, you're a racist, you're a fascist.
00:20:10.000 And they try to destroy you, your business, your family.
00:20:10.000 And they come after you.
00:20:13.000 There's nothing off limits, which is the scary part.
00:20:16.000 Because it used to be we just had the debate.
00:20:18.000 In that situation you have to fight, you have to fight smart, but you have to fight and then trust the American people that in the end the truth will come out.
00:20:26.000 We saw it come out on the, as President Trump says, on the Russia, Russia, Russia.
00:20:30.000 We saw the truth come out there.
00:20:32.000 We're now seeing it come out on the lies they told us about COVID.
00:20:35.000 So you just keep pressing and the truth has a way of winning in the end.
00:20:40.000 Okay, I agree.
00:20:41.000 We learned Russia Russia's BS.
00:20:43.000 We're learning COVID's BS.
00:20:44.000 We're learning at least, you know, everything we were told.
00:20:48.000 The lies are coming out day in day out.
00:20:50.000 You know, Twitter's not shadow banning people, right?
00:20:51.000 There's no bias in big tech.
00:20:53.000 Every lie has been proven right.
00:20:55.000 Every conspiracy theorist has been proven correct, right?
00:20:58.000 They're batting like a thousand.
00:21:00.000 They're batting a thousand.
00:21:02.000 But the problem I have is, yes, we're figuring it out now and we're dunking on them on social media, but they still got the win.
00:21:08.000 I know.
00:21:08.000 Right?
00:21:09.000 That's like saying, well, you know, two years later after your national championship wrestling match, you know, well, that point was, he was out of bounds.
00:21:16.000 Yeah.
00:21:16.000 Well, it doesn't matter.
00:21:17.000 Right.
00:21:18.000 You know, maybe you get the, you get the ferric victory at the end, but they got everything they wanted.
00:21:23.000 They weaponized COVID for election.
00:21:25.000 They were able to slow my father's agenda with Russia, Russia, Russia.
00:21:28.000 So, you know,
00:21:29.000 They're sort of being like, oh yeah, you got us now, great, haha.
00:21:32.000 They're laughing their asses off to the bank.
00:21:34.000 How do we stop that?
00:21:35.000 Because there's a difference between sort of being proven right and actually being able to effectuate
00:21:42.000 Well, two things.
00:21:44.000 One, the way we ultimately get back, not get back, but the way we ultimately remedy it is make sure President Trump gets elected president in 2024.
00:21:53.000 And you've endorsed Trump on that.
00:21:54.000 Oh, I'm 100 percent.
00:21:56.000 That would be awkward, right?
00:21:56.000 100 percent.
00:21:58.000 No, I've been for him since day one.
00:22:02.000 No, you've always been awesome.
00:22:03.000 We appreciate it.
00:22:04.000 When he announced, and before he announced, I was encouraging him to announce and run again here.
00:22:09.000 He's the guy, because he's proven he can get things done when everyone's coming.
00:22:13.000 But in the meantime, in this Congress, we have to get all the facts on the table so that the country fully understands what they did to us.
00:22:22.000 Maybe the best example?
00:22:24.000 And this is the scary thing, is what they did with the laptop story in the run-up to the 2020, to the most important election we have, which is election for Commander-in-Chief, election for President of the United States, because that was an orchestrated effort to convince the country that the laptop that the FBI had for a year wasn't really accurate, even though they knew it was.
00:22:46.000 They all knew.
00:22:47.000 50-something intelligence, right?
00:22:49.000 When Hunter did his Cry Tour a couple weeks ago, oh, they're ganging up on me.
00:22:55.000 I'm like, wait a minute, you had your 50-year-old dude, first of all, you sound like a bitch, but you had the entire force of mainstream media, you had an entire force of big tech, and you had the biggest names in our intelligence, or I call it the lack of intelligence community, backing you.
00:23:11.000 Uh, what happens to those people now?
00:23:14.000 Because, again, there's the investigation, but if there's no consequence, there's no accountability, how do we deal with that?
00:23:20.000 Well, one of the things we should pass is, I would bet that all 51 of those people who signed that letter, the now famous letter with the line, you know, the Biden laptop story has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation, which became what the media used.
00:23:34.000 So, I would bet every one of those 51 has a security clearance.
00:23:39.000 None of them are in government.
00:23:40.000 They're all out of the government.
00:23:42.000 Why should they still have a security cord?
00:23:43.000 So who revokes that?
00:23:44.000 Well, the government should.
00:23:46.000 But we should pass legislation that says, look, there may be a valid reason for some of it, sometimes for certain people, but all 51... Because that's their meal ticket, right?
00:23:54.000 That's what gets them the contributorship.
00:23:56.000 This guy has special access to the information that you don't know and you're not... It's classified.
00:24:01.000 And then they go on TV and they lie to you.
00:24:02.000 Yeah.
00:24:03.000 Like, you know, like Schiff and these guys, you know, about me and all those guys about me anyway.
00:24:08.000 Yeah, I can't think of a specific thing Clapper may have said on TV that wasn't accurate, but I know when he testified in front of a House, or in a Senate committee, he said things that were not accurate.
00:24:17.000 But yeah, I think they monetize it, and that's a scary thing.
00:24:20.000 So maybe that's one of the remedies.
00:24:21.000 But we can't, and you know this, we can't prosecute anyone, we can't indict anyone.
00:24:26.000 All we can do is our constitutional duty is make sure the country gets the truth, and then we have legislative solutions.
00:24:32.000 But when you bring out the facts and the truth, then you gotta, you know,
00:24:36.000 You hope you have a Justice Department, if someone did do something criminally wrong, that they get indicted.
00:24:40.000 Okay, so in my intro to the show we talked about that.
00:24:42.000 Merrick Garland and the Justice Department, you know, they're swatting people that are pro-life with SWAT teams, but, you know, the Summer of Love participants who murdered, looted, arsoned, burned down buildings, nothing happened, you know, you talked about.
00:24:54.000 We know that Clapper and some of those guys lied.
00:24:57.000 We know that Wray seemingly lied, I guess it was yesterday, before Congress.
00:25:03.000 If they can lie before Congress, but nothing happens.
00:25:06.000 Meaning, I understand that's not you.
00:25:08.000 And we've got to make that clear, because some people are like, why didn't your dad do XYZ?
00:25:12.000 It's like, well, Congress has to put it on his desk for him to actually sign legislation.
00:25:15.000 I understand there's a process, but how do you hold those who are refusing to actually follow the law or the Constitution, protecting one side while weaponizing it against the other?
00:25:26.000 Because again, if I lied before your committee, even if you were on it and you were trying, you know, whatever it was,
00:25:33.000 I'd be in jail right now.
00:25:34.000 And they were looking for that, because everyone knows it was nonsense, but if you ask me the same question 15,000 times over literally about 50 hours of testimony, maybe he'll make a mistake.
00:25:43.000 He'll put the comma in the wrong spot, and now we got him, and it's perjury.
00:25:47.000 So if Ray is able to do it, the director of the FBI, Clapper, former head of the CIA, and they can get up before Congress, McCabe and Strzok and all those guys seem to have done the same thing.
00:26:00.000 But then they go on, they're not even a slap on the wrist, they get a contributing role at CNN and a big salary with it.
00:26:07.000 How do we stop that?
00:26:08.000 Well, the legislative branch, what we can do, is you go after the money.
00:26:13.000 At some point, this is what the founders envisioned, and we've gotten away from this, where the founders said, look, we think, in the three separate and equal branches of government,
00:26:22.000 If there's one that's more equal than the other, it's supposed to be the legislative branch, and in particular the House of Representatives.
00:26:27.000 That's why every tax and spending bill has to start in the House of Representatives.
00:26:30.000 So, in the end, the real leverage we have is to say,
00:26:39.000 FBI, OK, DHS, the entity that tried to set up a disinformation governance board.
00:26:44.000 Maybe you shouldn't get any money to do anything.
00:26:46.000 We want you to have money to deal with the border, which you're not really doing a very good job of.
00:26:50.000 But we don't want money being used on this other area.
00:26:53.000 So we have to go after the funding.
00:26:55.000 And that'll be the fight that we're trying to set up.
00:26:57.000 Can you do that with fencing?
00:26:58.000 Yeah.
00:26:59.000 I had Kash Patel on a couple weeks ago and he talked about that.
00:27:02.000 Not a lot of people understand these processes, right?
00:27:05.000 You can't necessarily do it, but you can stop the money.
00:27:08.000 You can't use the money for X, you can't use the money for Y, but you can use it for Z, because Z is an important constitutional function.
00:27:14.000 And I think, in terms of everything, whether it's the investigations, always follow the money.
00:27:19.000 But in this case, to prevent misuse,
00:27:22.000 Right.
00:27:23.000 And that's where we have to focus.
00:27:25.000 Yeah.
00:27:46.000 They play a different game.
00:27:47.000 How do we prevent them from running out the clock?
00:27:50.000 We've got less than two years.
00:27:51.000 Hopefully we win again.
00:27:53.000 I'd like to believe we should.
00:27:54.000 We should, based on facts.
00:27:55.000 But right now, let's call it elections.
00:27:58.000 If we're not doing the ballot harvesting game, it almost doesn't matter.
00:28:01.000 But we've got two years to get to the bottom of this, and we're up against a machine that's looking to protect itself.
00:28:06.000 How?
00:28:07.000 So do the investigations, get the facts on the table, lay the groundwork.
00:28:07.000 Yeah.
00:28:13.000 Now we have a debt ceiling.
00:28:15.000 I'm trying not to get into weeds too much, but this debt ceiling comes up.
00:28:18.000 One of the things I think we should get on the debt ceiling is, OK, if we're going to let the country borrow more money and keep doing this crazy Biden spending, one of the things that should be done is a structural change which says when we get to the end of the fiscal year,
00:28:30.000 If you don't have a budget in place or the appropriations process in place, you have what we call a continuing resolution.
00:28:36.000 You don't just spend what you're currently spending, which would frankly be a lot of savings for you.
00:28:41.000 So you get that in place and then as you move towards that date, the end of the fiscal year, which is September 30th,
00:28:47.000 Then you say, okay, look, if you want to fund certain things, we got to limit dollars going here.
00:28:52.000 You have the fight then with the backstop being, so you don't go into a shutdown, but the backstop being, if we don't get an agreement, you spend what you're currently spending.
00:29:01.000 Not unreasonable.
00:29:02.000 I mean, if you ran your household like we run our country, you'd be in foreclosure and you'd be out on the streets, but we can keep getting away with it.
00:29:11.000 And then you pick the one, like the FBI is asking for a brand new headquarters.
00:29:11.000 Yeah.
00:29:16.000 I don't know that the folks I represent would think that's a good use of their money.
00:29:19.000 I don't know that they deserve their current headquarters.
00:29:21.000 I mean, if they're going to be acting as, you know, a political arm of the Democrat Party, you know, maybe we should get rid of the FBI entirely, or at least you got to burn it down and start from scratch.
00:29:30.000 Yeah.
00:29:30.000 Particularly, you brought up the example of when they raided the home of Mark Howe.
00:29:35.000 Pro-life activists sent out 20 agents to his home.
00:29:40.000 Compare and contrast that to what took place in the summer of 2020, as you mentioned, but also compare it and contrast it to what took place in Supreme Court justices' homes when they were in an assassination attempt on, which was what they were doing, protesting at justices' homes, direct violation of a statute, 18 U.S.C.
00:29:58.000 section 1507, which says you can't do that with the intent of trying to influence a pending decision, but they did.
00:30:05.000 That disparity...
00:30:35.000 Perhaps in the event that you're not in control of the House.
00:30:38.000 I think part of it is you lay it out, you pass legislation in the House, you fight to limit where the dollars go, use the appropriation process, the old power of the purse as we speak.
00:30:49.000 And then all that, you don't do it for this reason, but all that creates a framework for the American people to decide who they want representing them in the House, the Senate, and in the White House.
00:30:59.000 And that's how American government and American politics works.
00:31:02.000 So our job is to, again,
00:31:05.000 Frame that all up in a way that the American people can see it clearly.
00:31:08.000 So now, Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, it's what you wanted.
00:31:11.000 I think you'll do an awesome job.
00:31:13.000 Take us in the room there.
00:31:14.000 What are the priorities?
00:31:15.000 Because there are, you know, there's 25 wonderful shiny objects that we could be chasing, but I think given the timeline and given, you know, what are the priorities and how do we get to the bottom of them?
00:31:26.000 Two priorities.
00:31:27.000 One, the border situation is as bad as it's ever been, and it's been done intentionally.
00:31:32.000 Day one, January 20, 2021, Joe Biden comes in and he undoes three key policies that the Trump administration had in place that had security on the border.
00:31:42.000 In fact, we had our first hearing, we had a sheriff from Arizona said in his 38 years in law enforcement, I thought this was powerful, he said, the best the border's ever been,
00:31:52.000 We're good.
00:32:10.000 I don't have to wait in Mexico.
00:32:11.000 I don't have to get over a wall.
00:32:12.000 And I'm not going to get deported.
00:32:13.000 They're all coming.
00:32:13.000 Well, Shazam!
00:32:15.000 Shocking!
00:32:16.000 Yeah, that's the number one issue.
00:32:17.000 We're going to pass legislation that will address that.
00:32:19.000 Basically, it puts back in place the policies that were there under the...
00:32:25.000 You take care of the big picture, and you solve a drug trafficking crisis, which has created every state and turned them into a border state, a sex trafficking crisis, a human trafficking crisis, child predation.
00:32:36.000 You cover a lot with just that one simple policy, and yet the Democrats seem totally oblivious, understanding that they're looking to build up a voter base, and you're, you know, who cares if it kills tens of thousands of Americans every year with fentanyl, if we can retain power forever.
00:32:50.000 Yeah, and that's like the sort of,
00:32:54.000 I mean, it's almost this depressing thought that you would have an administration where the fentanyl, the things that are happening to women and children, and it's like, it's caused by your, and you're just doing that for some political gain.
00:33:07.000 So that is issue number one.
00:33:10.000 The second key issue is the First Amendment.
00:33:13.000 Because this whole idea of government being turned against the American people, when you boil it all down, and this is what I talk about here, when you boil it all down, it's an attack on the First Amendment.
00:33:23.000 And you think about, in the last couple years, every right we enjoy as Americans under the First Amendment has been attacked.
00:33:30.000 They're all on the table.
00:33:31.000 Your right to practice your faith, your right to petition the government.
00:33:34.000 If Nancy Pelosi closed the Capitol for like a year now, you couldn't come talk to your member of Congress to petition them to redress your grievances?
00:33:42.000 You're right to assemble.
00:33:43.000 I tell this story.
00:33:45.000 Two years ago, I spoke to the New Mexico Republican Party in Amarillo, Texas.
00:33:52.000 Because they couldn't assemble in their own darn state.
00:33:54.000 They had to come to Texas to get the freedom to assemble.
00:33:57.000 So that's the most important thing and the most important element.
00:34:02.000 The most important right we enjoy as Americans under the First Amendment is what we're doing right now.
00:34:06.000 It's our right to speak.
00:34:08.000 Because if you can't speak, you can't practice your faith, you can't petition your government, you don't have free press, that's why they go after you, that's why they go after...
00:34:17.000 So many conservatives, it's about that.
00:34:19.000 But they've done that effectively, and I get it.
00:34:21.000 I'm a big boy, I've made my bet, I've chosen to be in this fight, but that weaponization.
00:34:26.000 A parent is concerned about going to a PTA meeting, so rather they can indoctrinate our kids with critical race theory and trans bullshit, but if you speak up...
00:34:35.000 You know, you're cancelled.
00:34:36.000 Like, these are things that five years ago, you would have been like, come on.
00:34:39.000 I know.
00:34:39.000 You know what I mean?
00:34:40.000 Like, I did a thing in the beginning about Hershey's, you know, there for Women's Month, they have a trans activist with, I believe it says...
00:34:51.000 The 2-5 LGBTQIA plus advocate.
00:34:55.000 It's a biological male that's representing Hershey's Chocolate for Women's Month.
00:35:00.000 They've made it so even if you do have the right to say something, only one science faces consequences for questioning that narrative.
00:35:06.000 Right.
00:35:07.000 And that's something I think we've got to regain because they'll say, oh no, you have it.
00:35:10.000 Well, but if you're going to weaponize, you know, the entire media industry against a soccer mom and dox them, and you see what they've done to so many of these conservatives.
00:35:19.000 Yeah.
00:35:20.000 It's not exactly real freedom.
00:35:23.000 It's one thing if you go out and scream racial slurs at the top of your lungs.
00:35:26.000 I've been called a racist.
00:35:29.000 I was called a homophobe last week because I said,
00:35:32.000 You know, Pete Buttigieg is the most useless person in the world, and he only got that job because he's gay.
00:35:37.000 It's true.
00:35:38.000 He had no business running for president.
00:35:39.000 He didn't have the accomplishments, but then he was there, and he was like, well, he's gay, so we must boost him.
00:35:44.000 And he ran against us, so he's gay, so we must make him the first openly gay transportation secretary.
00:35:51.000 Well, where's the lie?
00:35:52.000 Like, he has no business being in that role.
00:35:54.000 You tout it for months, just like they did the press secretary.
00:35:57.000 You know, she's the first lesbian, blank woman from a foreign country to ever... Like, who gives a shit?
00:36:02.000 Just do the job!
00:36:03.000 Yeah, like, we want people who can do the job.
00:36:05.000 And right now, speaking of Buttigieg, I mean, he finally got to East Palestine after, of course, after President Trump was there.
00:36:13.000 You think he was busy chest-feeding?
00:36:14.000 I don't know what he was doing.
00:36:16.000 I don't know but it's it's yeah it's ridiculous and the chilling impact that it has.
00:36:22.000 I mean you're a parent today and you're thinking I might go to the school board meeting tonight but you think well wait a minute the FBI and the Justice Department set up this snitch line.
00:36:30.000 They'd call the FBI on me if I showed up to a school board meeting.
00:36:33.000 They would you for sure but but I mean every parent
00:36:36.000 Just a good mom and dad out there doing what families do all over this country.
00:36:40.000 They care about their kids' education.
00:36:42.000 They go to church on Sunday.
00:36:43.000 They volunteer at the Little League games and help coach their kids.
00:36:47.000 They're thinking, in the back of their mind, it's like, maybe I shouldn't even go.
00:36:51.000 I was thinking about speaking up, but maybe I won't even go.
00:36:53.000 That's the problem.
00:36:53.000 I think, to your point, that apathy is what got them here.
00:36:56.000 That's why they're winning all of these things.
00:36:58.000 Like I said, we're doing a lot of, and I say it, and listen, I'm guilty of it myself, like, we're dunking on Twitter.
00:37:03.000 But guess what?
00:37:03.000 They got what they wanted.
00:37:04.000 You know, two years later, we figure out it's the truth.
00:37:07.000 They got what they wanted.
00:37:08.000 Same thing in all of the, you know, they've taken over institutions.
00:37:11.000 I mean, think about
00:37:13.000 The hills to die on for the left is like, a parent shouldn't know that a teacher is indoctrinating their three-year-old and trying to convince them to get permanent gender reassignment surgery.
00:37:21.000 They don't even think that's controversial, that we should carve the parent.
00:37:26.000 That one lady I saw last week, well I have a master's degree in education.
00:37:31.000 I wonder if the parents know more than me about what happened to their children.
00:37:35.000 It's lunacy, but they're believing it.
00:37:36.000 That's their religion.
00:37:38.000 I guess Greta Thunberg was the leader of that religion for a while, of the leftists.
00:37:44.000 It got taken over by Anthony Fauci, who was the high priest of leftism.
00:37:51.000 What's the goal?
00:37:51.000 What's the objective?
00:38:07.000 Create the oligarch class in Ukraine with the billions that they're gonna pilfer, kick back to Big War in America who watched Big Pharma get rich for two years, and like, everyone gets a board seat and makes money except for the American people who have to actually foot the fucking bill.
00:38:21.000 Yeah, and what did the Biden administration say?
00:38:24.000 We're gonna, we're there for as long as it takes, and I would say, as long as it takes to do what?
00:38:28.000 Wait, wait, we've been out of the never-ending wars for all of like nine months now, and we're like, we're back!
00:38:34.000 We understand Putin's the aggressor.
00:38:35.000 We understand that this was wrong for him to come there, but is it to kick him out of the current Ukraine?
00:38:42.000 Is it to kick him all the way out of Crimea?
00:38:45.000 No one tells me what the objective is.
00:38:47.000 I don't know how you define success when you don't know what the objective is, what the goal is.
00:38:52.000 That's the problem, and the American people are smart.
00:38:55.000 I saw that yesterday.
00:38:58.000 I guess NATO said, well, we're in the future.
00:39:01.000 We're going to let Ukraine into this thing permanently into NATO.
00:39:04.000 I'm like, wait a minute, like while we're at war, you're taking like the biggest or one of the, probably why we're in this to begin with, right?
00:39:12.000 I'm not saying Putin wouldn't have done it anyway.
00:39:12.000 Those conversations.
00:39:14.000 I'm not naive, but like it was certainly an excuse, but now they're saying one of the biggest negotiating chips to get to peace, which is I think what we all want.
00:39:22.000 No one wants never ending wars.
00:39:23.000 Like to get to peace.
00:39:25.000 Let's just, let's just pull that off the table.
00:39:28.000 These people are insane, but they're doing it.
00:39:30.000 And NATO will fund all of it, most of it.
00:39:32.000 We got here for two reasons.
00:39:34.000 One, weak leadership in the Oval Office.
00:39:36.000 When Mike Pompeo was asked the question a year ago, just after Russia initially went in, he was asked the question, would this have happened under President Trump?
00:39:44.000 He gave the best answer.
00:39:45.000 He said, the short answer is, I don't know.
00:39:47.000 But I do know this.
00:39:48.000 It didn't happen under President Trump.
00:39:50.000 So that's problem number one.
00:39:51.000 Weakness from the Oval Office.
00:39:52.000 Problem number two is the stupid energy policy this administration has.
00:39:56.000 Because it's energy that drives Putin.
00:39:59.000 Putin has the resource.
00:40:01.000 If we were the dominant country in energy,
00:40:04.000 Then we would be in a much better position.
00:40:06.000 I don't know if it happens again.
00:40:08.000 We killed our own.
00:40:09.000 That's the one I never understood with NATO.
00:40:12.000 Germany asked us to write a check to protect them from Russia while they sign a deal for the Russia pipeline to get so they're enriching the enemy that they want us to protect them from and we're sitting there like shutting down our energy and it's
00:40:24.000 Yeah, it makes no sense.
00:40:25.000 I mean, you have to be like the dumbest human being in the world to think that this makes any sense.
00:40:29.000 Makes no sense.
00:40:30.000 That is the problem.
00:40:31.000 That's why we're in this situation.
00:40:32.000 And again, we're in this situation without an objective.
00:40:35.000 So I think the American people are saying, wait, time out, time out here.
00:40:38.000 And the Biden administration just wants to keep sending the hard-earned money of the people I represent in the 4th District of Ohio?
00:40:44.000 I don't think so.
00:40:45.000 So you said, you know, obviously the border being one of the big ones that you're going after.
00:40:49.000 What would be the next one?
00:40:51.000 This idea that this weaponization of the government agency is being turned on the American people.
00:40:57.000 But I really think, and that's so big, because you've got the ATF coming after millions of Americans who have a gun race.
00:41:02.000 They made that rule.
00:41:03.000 It wasn't like, hey, the American redneck has incredible ingenuity.
00:41:07.000 You give them a rule, they'll figure out a way around it.
00:41:09.000 But in this one, for the Second Amendment folks, the ATF
00:41:13.000 So when do hearings start on that?
00:41:34.000 Well, we had one early on where we had Senator Johnson and Senator Grassley talk about what happened to them.
00:41:40.000 Jonathan Turley came in and talked about censorship by surrogate, which we see at Big Tech.
00:41:44.000 So we're following up on that.
00:41:45.000 We had two FBI people, former FBI people, come in and talk about what's happened to the FBI and how dramatically it's changed from its central mission of several years ago.
00:41:54.000 But our next hearing is going to be next week, and it's going to be on the Twitter files.
00:41:57.000 And we're going to have people come in and talk about
00:42:01.000 Matt Taibbi and Shellenberg are going to come in and talk about what they saw when Elon Musk gave them access to what was going on with the collusion between our government and big tech to limit the information Americans got.
00:42:14.000 The term they use, visibility filtering, which is a fancy way of saying when they shadowbanned us.
00:42:19.000 Yeah, I'm sitting there like, and it's even interesting, I was psyched when Twitter did the change.
00:42:25.000 The second it was announced, even before the takeover happened, like my engagement following went through the roof because they were burning the files.
00:42:31.000 Yep.
00:42:31.000 Right?
00:42:32.000 Then, you know, it looked like it was going to collapse.
00:42:36.000 It wasn't going to go through.
00:42:37.000 And I was like, the brakes were put right back on and I was back to it.
00:42:40.000 Then the takeover happened and it was back again for a month.
00:42:44.000 But now, me,
00:42:46.000 Oh, really?
00:42:46.000 Well... Left, yeah.
00:43:16.000 How do we get to the bottom of that?
00:43:17.000 Because, you know, I see it and it's, like I said, I have friends in this world that are like, it's worse now than it was under the Bolsheviks, which is hard to believe.
00:43:26.000 It's scary.
00:43:28.000 So we're going to have them come in and tell their story, what they saw, and additional things they'd say that they've learned since, what have we got, 17 different Twitter files that have come out.
00:43:38.000 But I really liked Taibbi and Schellenberg, what they wrote in particular about the run-up to the 2020 election.
00:43:44.000 Where we saw just how choreographed, it seemed to me, how choreographed this whole narrative was to get everyone to buy into the concept that what was going to come out on Hunter Biden... Trump was going to get us into World War III.
00:44:00.000 Hunter Biden's a great human being, but I'm a piece of shit.
00:44:04.000 I'm trying to figure all this stuff out.
00:44:05.000 I'm like, I don't understand.
00:44:07.000 So I do think that's important for the country to fully understand as we're focusing in on this attack on the First Amendment.
00:44:15.000 So, again, we have some, I guess, some people concerned about the January 6th stuff, so let's talk about that for a second.
00:44:20.000 I mean, I've heard from people in the mainstream media, I've heard from, you know, other committees.
00:44:25.000 People knew that some of the blockbuster witnesses to create this narrative
00:44:32.000 Lied.
00:44:33.000 Under oath.
00:44:33.000 You know, it's one thing going after the former director of the CIA.
00:44:36.000 I understand how the swamp works, unfortunately.
00:44:38.000 I want to go after him.
00:44:39.000 I think we have to.
00:44:40.000 But when these people see, remember, Trump took over the wheel!
00:44:43.000 Well, that never happened.
00:44:45.000 He took the beast!
00:44:46.000 And I was like, hey man, if Trump took over the wheel of the beast to go drive and be with his supporters, I'm more likely to vote for him, not less, but minor details.
00:44:54.000 But, you know, when it seems like it was just a sort of known secret, right?
00:44:59.000 You had a committee that was a sham.
00:45:01.000 The Republicans were, you know, with Republicans like those who needs Democrats.
00:45:04.000 Yeah.
00:45:06.000 But people knew that there were lies, but it didn't matter.
00:45:09.000 I mean...
00:45:11.000 Those people, something has to happen.
00:45:14.000 And how do we get to the bottom of that?
00:45:15.000 Again, when it's sort of like an unknown swamp secret.
00:45:18.000 Guys, we're talking January 6th right now.
00:45:24.000 Because you have a narrative.
00:45:24.000 How do you do that?
00:45:25.000 Now some of the video's coming out, right?
00:45:27.000 Kevin released it to Tucker.
00:45:29.000 And we're seeing, I'm like, wait a minute.
00:45:31.000 The cops are saying it was a setup.
00:45:33.000 The cops are opening the doors.
00:45:34.000 The Democrats are really upset.
00:45:36.000 You know when they're really upset at something, it's because they were trying to hide something.
00:45:39.000 They could have leaked this stuff.
00:45:40.000 They could have even done what they always do, which is selectively leak stuff.
00:45:43.000 You know, they did some of it, but the narrative to me, now in J6, is what I always knew it would be, because I'm not an imbecile and I've been in the room at this point.
00:45:51.000 So I knew it was bullshit, but now it's coming out.
00:45:54.000 You know, they're outraged that it's coming out, but if they knew, and it's sort of a D.C.
00:45:58.000 secret, how can that be?
00:46:00.000 Because if there are people that are exonerated, that have been sitting in jail, who were not violent, from this, and the Democrats
00:46:09.000 Hold it and withheld that exculpatory evidence for two years.
00:46:15.000 How does someone not go to jail for this?
00:46:16.000 I mean, imagine taking two years of someone's life for bullshit in a narrative, knowing it, making sure they use their power in media and power in government to prevent that, to drive a narrative like, you know, the first unarmed insurrection in the history of the world.
00:46:32.000 Like, is anyone this stupid?
00:46:32.000 I mean, give me a break.
00:46:34.000 So I will tell you what we've been doing in the committee.
00:46:37.000 We've had a number of FBI agents come to us as whistleblowers and they talk a lot about the pressure from the DC headquarters and the Washington field office on field offices around the country to go after January 6th people who were there.
00:46:56.000 The very first whistleblower we talked to
00:47:00.000 He was from the Boston Field Office.
00:47:02.000 And just to add some additional flavor to what you described, he said, they got a call from Washington and said, hey, we want you to start an investigation on these two individuals.
00:47:13.000 They were the two who organized a bus tour, two buses that came down for the January 6th rally.
00:47:17.000 And they said that the two individuals who organized it, we have them on video inside the Capitol.
00:47:23.000 And they said, OK.
00:47:24.000 They opened an investigation on them because they were inside the Capitol.
00:47:26.000 All right.
00:47:27.000 I don't know if they did anything other than get inside the Capitol, but they, you know, they're inside the Capitol.
00:47:30.000 They said, OK, well, they said, we want you to open up an investigation on the other 138 who were part of the trip.
00:47:37.000 And our whistleblower, who was correct, said, why?
00:47:43.000 What's the predicate?
00:47:43.000 You know, there's got to be some predicate for open investigation.
00:47:46.000 And they said, well, because we want you to do it.
00:47:48.000 They were on the bus.
00:47:48.000 He says, well, you got pictures of them inside the Capitol?
00:47:51.000 Any video?
00:47:52.000 They go, well, no, we don't have that.
00:47:54.000 They go, we're not opening an investigation.
00:47:56.000 So, we are looking into this issue, and you're right, if people did something wrong, fine, they're going to be prosecuted.
00:48:07.000 Listen, we gotta do that, but again, they're not prosecuting the Summer of Love folks.
00:48:11.000 If you were with, I know people, their grandmother put a post up about Facebook about being like,
00:48:18.000 In DC that day, and they got a knock on the door.
00:48:21.000 Meanwhile, everyone that's committed a crime in America these days is like a domestic terrorist.
00:48:25.000 Oh, he was on our radar, but we didn't have time to do that because we're busy looking after your grandmother.
00:48:30.000 It's insanity.
00:48:31.000 And Bank of America...
00:48:33.000 Yeah, that's overreach.
00:48:48.000 You know, no one asked who was at Kodosha who didn't belong in Kodosha on the nights of those rallies.
00:48:52.000 The banks wouldn't cooperate.
00:48:54.000 You'd be violating, you know, XYZ rights of that individual, and yet this way it happened.
00:48:59.000 And by the way, I talk a lot of shit about the FBI, but when I'm saying that I'm talking about leadership, because I've had the same thing.
00:49:05.000 The guys that are the door kickers, you know, whose opinions are known,
00:49:09.000 Awesome people.
00:49:10.000 They come up to me every day talking about the tarnish of their badge.
00:49:13.000 They can't believe it.
00:49:13.000 They're embarrassed.
00:49:14.000 But the problem is because they know that they have no chance of actually ever getting up the ladder.
00:49:19.000 Yep.
00:49:19.000 You know, the leftists have taken over that institution.
00:49:21.000 So it's not the guys actually doing the work, but you know, they also, they got a job.
00:49:27.000 They're going to lose their pension.
00:49:28.000 They're going to lose their homes.
00:49:29.000 And, and that's why I'm so glad to see the whistleblowers.
00:49:32.000 I've been saying it for a while.
00:49:33.000 Like, Hey guys, guys, it's time.
00:49:35.000 Like, I get it.
00:49:36.000 It sucks, I promise you.
00:49:37.000 It was a lot easier for me to be a real estate developer, too, than to get out in this beautiful, you know, battlefield of a political landscape, especially when you're on my side.
00:49:47.000 But, like, you gotta do something.
00:49:49.000 So, you're seeing enough of that to see just how bad it is?
00:49:52.000 Yeah, exactly.
00:49:53.000 And they talk about the pressure they're under to catalog, categorize even cases that aren't domestic violent extremism as domestic violent extremism.
00:50:02.000 So much so that we had the Richmond Field Office do the memorandum which said if you're a traditional Catholic, you're a domestic extremist.
00:50:10.000 I mean, think about that.
00:50:11.000 That's so crazy.
00:50:14.000 What does this have to do with any like and again actual domestic extremists?
00:50:18.000 It's like they're not interested in someone who's not extremist who's not like a white male in a MAGA hat with an AR-15.
00:50:23.000 Yep.
00:50:24.000 Like if you don't check those four boxes, it's like it didn't happen.
00:50:27.000 Yeah, because we saw that in the summer of 2020.
00:50:29.000 Well, you saw that in the Christmas parade.
00:50:32.000 Well, a car drove through.
00:50:34.000 I go, I'm reading the article.
00:50:37.000 I'm like, I literally was like, you mean that's not the onion?
00:50:40.000 I thought I was being punked.
00:50:42.000 And it's like, so someone who has incredibly racist postings on their Facebook page for months is talking about this stuff.
00:50:50.000 Commits a crime like that, an act of hate against white people at Christmas, like whether it's religious, whether it's race, whether...
00:50:57.000 A car drove through.
00:50:58.000 Oh, really?
00:50:59.000 Magically?
00:50:59.000 Yeah.
00:51:00.000 Because it's freaking magic.
00:51:01.000 Yeah.
00:51:01.000 Now, if you reverse those things, what would the headline be?
00:51:06.000 Right.
00:51:07.000 Everything, as you know, for the left is driven by politics.
00:51:11.000 It's all about what's the political goal, how they get power.
00:51:18.000 I think we just tweeted out, you know, why do they lie to us about gain of function?
00:51:23.000 Why do they lie to us about the origin?
00:51:25.000 Why do they lie to us about natural immunity?
00:51:28.000 Politics and power!
00:51:29.000 It's always about, for the left, it's politics.
00:51:31.000 So they could lie to the, and you see that in so many different issues.
00:51:38.000 Now, the good news is, even though the left controls every institution, the left controls the White House, the left controls the bureaucracy, they control big tech, they control big media, they control Hollywood, they control higher education, they control all kinds of things.
00:51:51.000 But they don't control we the people.
00:51:53.000 And we the people, in the end, figure it out, push back, and you know the best example of that?
00:52:00.000 2016 presidential election.
00:52:01.000 We the people said, time out.
00:52:03.000 But they saw that.
00:52:05.000 They saw that and then they utilized that.
00:52:06.000 They weaponized COVID.
00:52:08.000 They weaponized Fauci.
00:52:10.000 They weaponized the media.
00:52:13.000 On the state level, they weaponized the laws.
00:52:15.000 I always say, you could run Jesus Christ against John Fetterman right now for president in 2024 and it don't matter if we don't start playing the game the way they are because they'll figure out whatever loophole.
00:52:26.000 They're so much better at this than us.
00:52:27.000 You know, they'll figure out the loophole, they'll do this, and even then they'll say, oh well, there was a Republican that voted for it.
00:52:32.000 Yeah, because you browbeat him, you bullied him, the hometown paper basically said, we'll get you out of your position on the state legislature if you don't go along with the Democrats.
00:52:40.000 You're racist, you're homophobic, you're misogynist, you're one of the isks.
00:52:45.000 These people are getting bullied and pressured into doing stuff that they don't even agree with, or they're just weak.
00:52:53.000 Again, we've got to get to that point.
00:52:55.000 With them trying to run out the clock, why don't we go right to subpoenas, knowing they're trying to do these things, or all of these things.
00:53:02.000 Why don't we go right to that and at least get the information, make it public.
00:53:07.000 Yeah, we're trying to make all the information public we can.
00:53:09.000 I've done more subpoenas than the rest of the Congress combined.
00:53:14.000 But it's still like, for all of us, because we've lived this for so many years now, we'd have liked to have done them all yesterday.
00:53:20.000 But there's a process you've got to go through, unfortunately.
00:53:24.000 Talk about that, because again, I think there's probably a lot of pressure on you.
00:53:28.000 Why don't you do that right away?
00:53:29.000 I mean, I'm asking the question that way because my people are asking it.
00:53:33.000 There is sort of a process.
00:53:34.000 You know, we saw this during the Speakers race.
00:53:36.000 I want Jim Jordan to be.
00:53:37.000 It's like, A, you don't want that.
00:53:39.000 B, it'd be harder.
00:53:41.000 There's the realities of D.C.
00:53:44.000 at play, and so to be punctual and to get something done, you still actually have to play within those realities, and you can't just do what we'd all love.
00:53:52.000 There's a whole process, particularly when you're talking about folks in government versus folks out of government.
00:53:56.000 Folks in government, you want to talk to them.
00:53:59.000 We're good to go.
00:54:17.000 And this goes back and forth.
00:54:18.000 You try to accommodate and then at some point if they if they're just not coming in then you issue the subpoena.
00:54:22.000 But you have to lay that track record if you're because if you get to the point where they don't come and you got to go to court you got to have that track record.
00:54:28.000 So it's a different process for folks in government.
00:54:31.000 Out of government it's a little different.
00:54:32.000 People have left government
00:54:34.000 It's a lot quicker and so we're going to try to get those people in a more expedited way and get their testimony, get their transcribed interview or a deposition, get that done.
00:54:45.000 But it is a process you have to go through to lay the groundwork.
00:54:50.000 So how do you convince the American people?
00:54:52.000 Because, you know, the Republicans, you know, everyone, again, I understand it, there's a lot of people that they want X, but they're not necessarily going to inform that process.
00:54:58.000 How do you keep them in the loop to know that it's going, but also going, you know, as aggressively, I guess, as possible?
00:55:05.000 How do you make that connection so that they see it, they can, because I see people, hey, I don't want to support any Republicans, I don't feel like we're getting enough action, like, that's not exactly, like, I understand, again, the realities.
00:55:15.000 Yeah.
00:55:16.000 We do.
00:55:17.000 I mean, I think part of what we're going to try to do is you're going to have hearings so that you can present some facts, people see the facts get put on the table, and then behind the scenes you're doing the depositions, you're writing the letters, you're getting the evidence, the documents you need from the subpoenas, and building the case.
00:55:36.000 That's just how these investigations work, so we're committed to doing all that as quickly
00:55:43.000 But in a way that's consistent with the law, consistent with the Constitution.
00:55:46.000 So, you know, since we're finishing up sort of January 6th, but what do we do about the Ashley Babbitt shooting, right?
00:55:52.000 I mean, it seems to me like it's, I'd say, the least investigated police shooting in the history of police shootings.
00:55:59.000 I see the video, and as a gun guy I know, like, this was not a, like, any other cop with this video would be in jail, not made a hero.
00:56:09.000 I don't even want to use the term accidental discharge, because to me, as a gun guy, it seems actually worse than that.
00:56:15.000 Just gross incompetence from someone with a record that I've at least read about.
00:56:20.000 Maybe I'm wrong, but I've read about negligent firearm stuff from this officer.
00:56:24.000 I think he left a loaded firearm in a toilet in Congress, just so we're clear.
00:56:32.000 He's turned into, like, you know, he's General Patton, and it's pretty obvious, and you actually, if you look at the videos, he actually batted, I think, actually punching one of the other aggressors.
00:56:41.000 How does that, you know, again, how do people feel confident that stuff's gonna happen if that happens?
00:56:46.000 And I get it, like, these guys, I love law enforcement and the community, it's one of our most vocal supporters, but, like, I saw that, and I'm seeing the tears on his hand, and I'm, you know, I'm also seeing them now opening doors everywhere.
00:56:58.000 I'm saying, this is bullshit.
00:57:00.000 This is why what Speaker McCarthy did with allowing transparency to begin to happen with the release of the videotape, I think is so important.
00:57:15.000 Also, remember, there are millions of documents
00:57:19.000 That the House Administration Committee now has.
00:57:22.000 Yeah.
00:57:22.000 We're going to take a look at those documents too.
00:57:24.000 And I know what my father's told me, right?
00:57:26.000 Nancy Pelosi, they asked for National Guard.
00:57:29.000 They were trying to prevent this stuff from happening.
00:57:31.000 No, no, no, we don't, it's, you hear the cops.
00:57:33.000 Hey man, this was a setup.
00:57:34.000 You're seeing the videos now, it's like, they orchestrated, they were, it seems to me, as a person with a brain and an IQ above single digits,
00:57:42.000 Like, they wanted this to happen because they could use it to weaponize.
00:57:45.000 They could use it to lock down.
00:57:47.000 They could use it to go after innocent Americans.
00:57:50.000 They could use it to go after the Second Amendment, even though it seems like almost no one was actually armed at the insurrection, which, again, I don't know.
00:57:56.000 Like, if I was doing an insurrection, it probably wouldn't be that way, but I would never do that thing because I'd be investigated already and in jail.
00:58:03.000 And meanwhile, the guy who planted the bombs at the RNC and DNC
00:58:09.000 Yeah, definitely not a Fed.
00:58:11.000 Magically that disappeared, right?
00:58:15.000 I think Chris Wray was even asked about this.
00:58:16.000 What's the status of that?
00:58:18.000 That guy's on videotape walking around Washington D.C.
00:58:20.000 and we have no leads, no information on that?
00:58:23.000 It was just a setup as part of another narrative, but because they got what they wanted elsewhere, they don't even need to bother to follow up that part.
00:58:30.000 When I see some of the video, I mean the instigation stuff, it's like,
00:58:35.000 Like, you don't even have to be me.
00:58:36.000 Meaning, you don't even have to be a guy that's been in the room and seen the bullshit to be like, come on now.
00:58:41.000 Like, my five-year-old would be like, ah, wait a minute.
00:58:43.000 I don't understand.
00:58:43.000 You know what I mean?
00:58:45.000 Yeah, I mean, again, this is why the release of all this video, I think, is so important, because we've only seen parts of it.
00:58:52.000 We want to see, I forget how many thousand of hours of tape it is, but it's a lot, so we want to see all that.
00:59:03.000 Since we're hitting all of these things, how do you get to the bottom of the Russia hoax so that never happens again, right?
00:59:09.000 Because that was something designed...
00:59:11.000 To literally change the ability of a president to do his job.
00:59:17.000 It's clear.
00:59:18.000 It's obvious.
00:59:19.000 We all know how it started.
00:59:20.000 We all know where it went.
00:59:21.000 But again, it was still effective.
00:59:24.000 How do you stop that from happening again within all these pasts?
00:59:27.000 They're sort of all interrelated, but that one's in the past.
00:59:30.000 And again, they get their win.
00:59:31.000 It didn't matter.
00:59:32.000 They were able to stop it.
00:59:33.000 If you put this cloud over the head, weaklings like Paul Ryan will say, maybe we can't do the wall because I'm not sure.
00:59:39.000 Maybe there's something to this.
00:59:43.000 I think Trump was really accomplished.
00:59:44.000 It's amazing what he was able to get done, given all the stuff floating over his head.
00:59:48.000 But that stuff floating over his head was designed to slow down his ability to accomplish it.
00:59:53.000 Yeah, and it undermines his fundamental... Probably the thing that bothers me and ticks me off more than anything is the idea that it's the unelected people who think they run the government.
01:00:02.000 Yeah.
01:00:03.000 Alex Vindman thought he was more important than the President of the United States, for goodness sake.
01:00:07.000 I mean, these guys in the, quote, deep state, they think, Fauci thinks, Fauci ran our lives for three stinking years, for goodness sake.
01:00:13.000 Well, and he's wrong about everything.
01:00:14.000 By the way, when are we bringing him up on charges?
01:00:16.000 No kidding, no kidding.
01:00:17.000 This guy was wrong about everything.
01:00:19.000 So, but one practical thing to the Russia story.
01:00:23.000 Maybe what we need to say is, FBI, you're interviewing someone, you got audio, there's got to be some kind of tape of that.
01:00:29.000 Because if that happens, remember where this all started.
01:00:32.000 We started with Mike Flynn, what they got Flynn on.
01:00:34.000 And they bring him in, and when Horowitz did his investigation, the agent, I didn't think he lied.
01:00:40.000 Because he didn't lie.
01:00:41.000 They were trying to set him up, remember?
01:00:43.000 So if that's on audio tape and we get access to that, maybe this all doesn't happen because they were actively trying to undermine the guy the American people elected as Commander-in-Chief, your father.
01:00:55.000 That's what they were all up to.
01:00:56.000 And this unelected folks doing this is so contrary to our Constitution.
01:01:01.000 We've actually proposed that amendment.
01:01:02.000 Of course, all the Republicans supported it.
01:01:03.000 Democrats voted it down.
01:01:06.000 I mean, are you losing any Republicans on these things?
01:01:08.000 No, not on that.
01:01:09.000 Not on that.
01:01:10.000 And I don't mean... So how do you call that out, right?
01:01:13.000 I mean, I imagine there have to be moderate Democrats in Ohio, your home state, that are like, hey man, even our Democrat... meaning, I believe there are moderate Democrats in America.
01:01:23.000 I just don't believe there are any in office because you can't win without the New York, California Democrat money.
01:01:27.000 And you're not getting that if you're not... No, you said it right.
01:01:29.000 You know, allowing a three-year-old to change their gender permanently.
01:01:33.000 You said it right.
01:01:34.000 There are moderate Democrats around the country, but there aren't many in D.C.
01:01:38.000 And there aren't many, unfortunately, now, because the left controls that party, there aren't many who believe in the First Amendment.
01:01:45.000 That's a scary... Remember, there was a survey done last fall.
01:01:51.000 I talked about this before the election.
01:01:53.000 They asked Democrats,
01:01:55.000 We're good to go.
01:02:10.000 That doesn't believe what everyone here believes.
01:02:15.000 They don't believe that America's a great... That's scary.
01:02:18.000 And so if they don't start from the premise that we all... America's not perfect, but it's the greatest nation ever.
01:02:23.000 And I tell people, next to Jesus, the best thing that ever happened to this world is our country.
01:02:28.000 But no, the left doesn't believe that.
01:02:30.000 And they think the bureaucrats are supposed to run things, not the individuals who we the people elect.
01:02:35.000 That's what we've got to fundamentally change.
01:02:38.000 And that's so much of what our committee is going to focus on.
01:02:40.000 Because we're the House Judiciary Committee.
01:02:42.000 We're supposed to be the committee that protects the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the First Amendment.
01:02:48.000 And that's what we're going to focus on doing.
01:02:50.000 Talk a little bit about, you know, obviously there's a lot of controversy around Kevin McCarthy becoming Speaker, and, you know, I got a lot of crap.
01:02:57.000 I mean, people were nominating you, and you're like, I'm for him.
01:02:59.000 Yeah.
01:03:00.000 Because, again, people don't necessarily understand, like, you don't want to do the, and I wouldn't either, you know, the 365 days of fundraising, and then this, you want to get on, you know, you're a nose-to-the-groundstone guy, get in there, get on the details, and not have to do that aspect of it.
01:03:12.000 But talk to us a little bit about
01:03:14.000 Well, the difference is...
01:03:30.000 Kevin was able to bring us together and focus on working as a team and when it happened was when they the first impeachment of President Trump and they first went after your dad on that bogus phone call baloney and Kevin came to means I mean, I I'll always appreciate what he did He said I'm gonna and Rick Crawford who was willing to step off the Intel Committee.
01:03:50.000 He says Jim I'm gonna put you on the Intel Committee for all those secret depositions in the bunker in the basement the capital that ship did and
01:03:57.000 Yeah, where they took my phone, my legal team's phone, but Adam Schiff was leaking to CNN every bathroom break.
01:04:02.000 And so, Kevin brought us together, and remember the conventional wisdom was, going into that first impeachment, that every single Democrat was going to vote to impeach President Trump, and several Republicans in the House were going to join him.
01:04:17.000 We go through that process that Kevin helped put together.
01:04:19.000 Where we had a good team of people, good staff lawyers, everything working.
01:04:23.000 We go through that process and what happened?
01:04:25.000 Every single Republican voted not to impeach.
01:04:27.000 Several Democrats joined us.
01:04:29.000 One switched parties and has been reelected twice.
01:04:32.000 Jeff Van Drew from New Jersey.
01:04:34.000 That doesn't happen.
01:04:36.000 It didn't happen, I don't think, if Kevin is not the leader of the Republican Party.
01:04:40.000 And I saw that and I said, look, this guy knows how to bring us together.
01:04:43.000 Kevin and I came in together.
01:04:44.000 We didn't always agree.
01:04:46.000 I mean, it started off a little bit more rocky, right?
01:04:47.000 Yeah, we didn't always agree, but one thing I admire about people is people who are willing to work hard.
01:04:53.000 And this guy, hard work... Oh, it's brutal.
01:04:55.000 I always tell people, hard work doesn't guarantee success, but it sure improves your chances, right?
01:05:00.000 And Kevin is willing to work hard, do the fundraising, bring our team together, and he said something to me.
01:05:05.000 I said this when I nominated him on the House floor on January 3rd.
01:05:08.000 He said something to me our first term.
01:05:10.000 I got a lot of help for supporting him as well but I was like...
01:05:29.000 Dude, I'm the guy that shows up in some random place in Georgia or Missouri at some fundraiser and like, he's there working the room as well.
01:05:35.000 I'm like, you know what?
01:05:36.000 Because people don't understand.
01:05:37.000 That's not the fun part of the job.
01:05:39.000 I mean, that's brutal.
01:05:40.000 But you also got to raise money to support other candidates that you want to win.
01:05:43.000 And like, so everyone's like got their dream candidate.
01:05:45.000 Like, talk about the differences in John Boehner.
01:05:47.000 I mean, the Freedom Caucus sort of started around all of that in the plant.
01:05:52.000 So I mean, talk about that formation, because I think it's a story that most people probably don't know.
01:05:55.000 And it's sort of interesting.
01:05:57.000 A leading caucus in the House, but also if you're like a MAGA conservative, you know, those are our people, generally speaking.
01:06:04.000 Yeah, I mean, I tell folks all the time, I think we make this job, a member of Congress, we make it way too complicated.
01:06:11.000 What did you tell the folks you were going to do?
01:06:13.000 If they elect you, go do what you said.
01:06:16.000 Hard to believe!
01:06:17.000 And by the way, no one did that better than your father.
01:06:21.000 I mean, I still remember early in the administration, Mark Meadows and I, this is probably 2018, we're in the West Wing there, and one of the offices, they got a big whiteboard where, I said this out here, they had listed every single promise President Trump made to the American people in the 2016 campaign.
01:06:38.000 We're good to go.
01:06:50.000 And I just felt like we weren't doing what we said.
01:06:52.000 So we said, we've got to form a group that is focused on the American people, the American family, who says, so many people think this town's forgotten them.
01:07:00.000 Our job is to remember them.
01:07:01.000 And that's why we formed the group.
01:07:02.000 And the contrast between the leadership then and the leadership under Kevin McCarthy, Kevin has been focused on, what do we tell the voters we're going to do?
01:07:10.000 Let's go get that done, just like your dad did.
01:07:14.000 So what's the number one issue, if you could get, of the things that have been promised to the voters, what's number one for you?
01:07:20.000 You know, in terms of the Republican Party and then maybe what's number one that you can do from your position as chair of the Judiciary Committee?
01:07:27.000 Well, number one is the border.
01:07:29.000 Number two is this weaponization issue and the attack on the First Amendment, like we said.
01:07:35.000 But you think about what we've seen in the last two years.
01:07:37.000 We went from a secure border to no border.
01:07:39.000 We went from safe streets to record crime.
01:07:41.000 We went from stable prices to record inflation.
01:07:44.000 And we went from good energy policy, dominant energy policy, to the ridiculous situation we have now.
01:07:50.000 And all of those things are contributing to the record inflation that American families are having to deal with, driving up the cost of everything.
01:07:56.000 I talked to our son the other day, our oldest son.
01:07:59.000 We got two boys and two girls.
01:08:00.000 And our oldest son, he called me, and he does well.
01:08:03.000 Sales does well.
01:08:03.000 He's in the Chicago area.
01:08:05.000 And he told me, he says, man, everything costs so much.
01:08:07.000 Like, just the groceries for a
01:08:09.000 Hey, I'm the son of a billionaire from New York.
01:08:11.000 If I go to the grocery store or the gas pump, I'm like, Jesus, it's pretty bad.
01:08:14.000 If I notice it, it's a problem.
01:08:22.000 80-some-thousand IRS agents going to harass conservatives.
01:08:25.000 This idea that the ATF is going to make 10 million to 40 million gun owners felons or put them on some registration list because of something they told them they could do 10 years ago that they suddenly changed their mind on.
01:08:35.000 This idea that the FBI has two standards of justice.
01:08:38.000 That issue is huge.
01:08:39.000 People get it.
01:08:40.000 And they understand that, as I've said now several times, that their First Amendment liberties are under attack.
01:08:46.000 Daily.
01:08:47.000 And it's, you know, the idea in America is that people are literally afraid to
01:08:52.000 Yeah.
01:08:52.000 Yeah.
01:09:08.000 Well, Jim, the American people are counting on you.
01:09:11.000 And honestly, if I had to pick someone and hand-pick them to do all that...
01:09:25.000 It's you, so I really appreciate it, man.
01:09:26.000 Thank you, brother.
01:09:26.000 Thanks so much for being here.
01:09:27.000 God bless you.

01:09:32.000 I'd love not to have to do this.
01:09:33.000 America's worth it.
01:09:34.000 But it's worth it.
01:09:34.000 It's worth it for our children.
01:09:36.000 It's worth it for their children.
01:09:37.000 And we are up against, in my opinion these days, honestly, it's evil at this point.
01:09:40.000 I don't want to talk hyperbole.
01:09:42.000 I'd love not to say these things.
01:09:45.000 It's not an act.
01:09:46.000 Just look at what they're saying every day.
01:09:48.000 Look at what they're doing.
01:09:49.000 Look at the double standard.
01:09:50.000 And, again, if you have some common sense, it's literally hard to come up with another conclusion.
