Triggered - Donald Trump Jr - No Rules for Radicals: The Left is Devouring Their Own | Triggered Ep. 354

00:06:05.000 Thank you.

00:06:21.000 Hey guys, welcome to another huge episode of Triggered.

00:06:24.000 I hope everyone's doing well.

00:06:26.000 A lot of news happening on this very nice Monday in almost July.

00:06:32.000 We're almost again into July at America's 250th birthday.

00:06:37.000 The time is just flying by.

00:06:39.000 I mean, a quarter of a millennium.

00:06:41.000 Pretty, pretty incredible stuff.

00:06:44.000 But as always, the swamp's veto on the MAGA mission is falling apart.

00:06:51.000 In real time, they're trying hard, guys, but it's not going to be that easy.

00:06:55.000 The bureaucratic veto, where you know, faceless agencies get to run the country.

00:07:01.000 You know, no matter who the voters actually vote for, it doesn't matter you can vote for that person, we can put them in that spot, and we're going to do whatever we want.

00:07:07.000 Well, we're fighting back. 0.98

00:07:09.000 The deportation veto, where activists tell you that every removal, even criminal scumbags, drug dealers, and murderers and rapists, is you know, somehow cruel. 0.96

00:07:23.000 Every border rule is mean, and every illegal alien somehow has a permanent claim on American sympathy.

00:07:32.000 The culture veto, okay, where every institution gets captured by, you know, whatever left wing cause happens to be fashionable this week.

00:07:42.000 The managerial class is getting checked, and it's about time.

00:07:46.000 The Democrat Party is eating its own leadership, as we've seen in New York and so many other places, and the left is parodying itself. 0.55

00:07:55.000 In the streets, and we've got the trans Palestinian parade footage to prove it. 0.62

00:08:02.000 Okay, by the way, uh, my offer still stands uh, one way tickets to any trans rights activist that wants to actually go do this, uh, you know, in any one of those Muslim countries. 0.50

00:08:13.000 Okay, you got to stay, uh, that's part of the deal, you got to stay there for you know at least a year or two, but uh, let's see how it works out. 0.81

00:08:19.000 And meanwhile, the fraudsters are finding out that wherever they are hiding in the world, we will find them and we will bring them to justice.

00:08:26.000 So, guys, make sure you're liking.

00:10:57.000 That's heritage.orgslash D O N J R. 1.00

00:11:02.000 Now, let's get into all of the details. 1.00

00:11:05.000 And I want to start with the Supreme Court.

00:11:07.000 And I know it wasn't all good news, especially on the mail in ballot case, but one ruling today was a big, big win in our favor.

00:11:17.000 Now, This is one of those cases that sounds super technical and tries to be confusing, but really at its core, it's pretty simple.

00:11:26.000 And it restores the power of the president to fire subversive bureaucrats.

00:11:32.000 Okay.

00:11:32.000 No longer can you just get a position in DC.

00:11:35.000 And if you're not a political appointee, then you can just go run roughshod.

00:11:38.000 You could do the opposite of what the commander in chief wants.

00:11:40.000 And you get to keep your job irrespective of that.

00:11:43.000 You can throw up every roadblock.

00:11:44.000 You could block the mission.

00:11:46.000 You can block what the voters wanted.

00:11:48.000 Doesn't work anymore.

00:11:50.000 There's an old court precedent back from the days of SDR that said that Congress has the constitutional authority to limit the president's power to remove leaders of independent regulatory agencies.

00:12:02.000 But today, the Supreme Court overruled that decision, granting the president sweeping authority under Article II to fire leaders of independent agencies for any reason or no reason whatsoever, because it's all his decision.

00:12:18.000 Here's a clip from a friend of the show, Senator Eric Schmidt.

00:12:21.000 Actually, predicting this a few months back and why it matters now more than ever before.

00:12:27.000 You know, I Googled up Constitution and I didn't find fourth branch of government.

00:12:33.000 Sorry, you know what I mean?

00:12:34.000 I Googled it up.

00:12:35.000 It wasn't there.

00:12:37.000 The executive branch was there.

00:12:39.000 The legislative branch was there.

00:12:41.000 The judicial branch was there, but I couldn't find the regulatory branch.

00:12:46.000 Help me out on this, Senator. 1.00

00:12:47.000 Well, hopefully, woke AI won't ever implement that like they did the black.

00:12:52.000 George Washington image from a few months ago.

00:12:54.000 So, hopefully, we don't create one there.

00:12:55.000 But no, it's not to be found.

00:12:57.000 The founders never intended for these faceless bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. to have this much influence over people's lives.

00:13:04.000 It was we, the people, not they, the experts, right?

00:13:06.000 And so, this case that the Supreme Court's looking at, the slaughter case, is very, very important.

00:13:11.000 Larry, I think if you take a step back, about 100 years ago, one of our worst presidents, Woodrow Wilson, kind of began this march to the administrative state.

00:13:18.000 And there was a court case sprinkled in there about 90 years ago.

00:13:22.000 Called Humphrey's executor, that basically said the president couldn't have real control over his own administration.

00:13:28.000 The court is about to, I think, I hope, to overrule that.

00:13:31.000 The American people elect one person, well, two, with the vice president, to handle the Article II branch.

00:13:38.000 And the head of that Article II branch gets to decide the people that get to work in the Article II branch.

00:13:43.000 And so this case, I think the Supreme Court's going to rule it the right way.

00:13:46.000 It'll go a long way in reigning in the administrative state, much like the Loper Bright case last year did with the.

00:13:53.000 Overturning the Chevron deference that had existed for a few decades as well.

00:13:58.000 So, this is a big deal because it goes to the heart of the scam, right?

00:14:03.000 The left loses elections, but they find backdoors ways to keep the agencies.

00:14:08.000 Okay.

00:14:08.000 They have people that have been instilled and implanted in there for decades.

00:14:12.000 They lose the argument, but they try to keep the rulemaking power or at least block anyone else from doing something other than what they want.

00:14:21.000 Okay.

00:14:21.000 They try to prevent it.

00:14:22.000 They slow roll it.

00:14:23.000 They wait them out.

00:14:24.000 They wait for another election and hopefully they win and then they get back to their full radical agenda.

00:14:27.000 But they block anything that anyone would want to be doing.

00:14:31.000 But our founders made it clear 250 years ago the presidency isn't supposed to be a suggestion box for the permanent bureaucracy.

00:14:38.000 The president is elected by the whole country, he is accountable.

00:14:43.000 To the voters.

00:14:44.000 He gets judged by the people.

00:14:47.000 And I know you're hearing all about the mail in ballot case, which Roberts and Barrett buckled on, of course.

00:14:56.000 But overall, there are big things going in our favor.

00:15:01.000 And how do we know?

00:15:02.000 Because the left is already melting down, especially over this ruling.

00:15:07.000 They're claiming that this politicizes agencies.

00:15:09.000 In all fairness, what politicized the agencies was radical leftists in there, but politicizes agencies?

00:15:15.000 Like, really?

00:15:17.000 Really?

00:15:17.000 The agencies were already political.

00:15:20.000 They were just political in one direction and one direction alone.

00:15:23.000 And as long as it was in the direction of the left, that was fine.

00:15:27.000 They're protected by process, staffed by the same credentialed class, and defined by the media because the bias benefited the left.

00:15:37.000 That's the part they're mad about.

00:15:39.000 Not the politicization, but the accountability.

00:15:42.000 And by the way, this connects right into immigration because the same people who want agencies to be independent of voters also want borders.

00:15:51.000 To be independent of law.

00:15:54.000 And to demonstrate this insanity, failed presidential candidate John Kasich found himself on the wrong side of maybe one of the all time great ratios on X this weekend after coming out in support of endless temporary status for Haitian immigrants, right?

00:16:10.000 Temporary status. 0.93

00:16:11.000 They've been here for 20 years.

00:16:12.000 Temporary is over.

00:16:13.000 Okay.

00:16:13.000 Temporary means temporary, not permanent.

00:16:17.000 This is insane.

00:16:18.000 But this clip is a perfect example of the old Republican consultant brain. 0.63

00:16:24.000 Check this out. 0.97

00:16:25.000 The Supreme Court decision has said that Haitians are going to have to be removed from Springfield, Ohio.

00:16:32.000 I guess I understand that, but there is an opportunity for the Congress to extend temporary protection status because things in Haiti are just deteriorating and sending people back there with their families to me is just crazy. 0.75

00:16:46.000 I wish the Congress would extend this for the Haitians, but if not, they'll say that that's the law. 0.95

00:16:52.000 And to quote somebody, a figure from a Charles Dickens novel, if that's the law, Then the law is an ass. 0.98

00:17:01.000 So let me get this clear. 0.95

00:17:03.000 According to Kasich, temporary means permanent.

00:17:07.000 Now, I don't know, call me crazy, but if you use the word temporary, maybe, just maybe, it should actually mean temporary.

00:17:16.000 Kasich says families in Springfield, Ohio, and the communities across the country could be thrown into chaos if these protections end.

00:17:25.000 How exactly?

00:17:26.000 The chaos in those communities happens when Washington imports.

00:17:31.000 Problems and then calls local people heartless for actually noticing, for actually complaining, for realizing that their resources are being scattered amongst people, probably not paying into those same systems.

00:17:43.000 What about the schools?

00:17:45.000 What about the hospitals?

00:17:46.000 What about housing?

00:17:48.000 What about social services?

00:17:49.000 What about policing?

00:17:51.000 What about the citizens who never got asked whether they wanted to become a test case in some leftist immigration theory?

00:17:59.000 This is the part that drives normal Americans crazy.

00:18:02.000 It drives them absolutely nuts and it should. 0.96

00:18:05.000 The political class creates a temporary protection.

00:18:08.000 Then it extends the temporary protection forever.

00:18:13.000 Do you get that sort of leeway from the government?

00:18:16.000 No.

00:18:17.000 Do you get endless temporary protection on your taxes, for example, on your loans, on your mortgages, on absolutely anything?

00:18:23.000 No, you don't.

00:18:25.000 The goal here was always to create a backdoor permanent status while telling the public that it was temporary.

00:18:31.000 Okay.

00:18:32.000 Temporary allows you to sell it, you're doing some good.

00:18:34.000 And then when they're here, 20 years later, 40 years later, 100 years later.

00:18:39.000 Now it's your problem.

00:18:41.000 Check this out.

00:18:42.000 Well, temporary protective status in its name itself is exactly what it was designed for.

00:18:46.000 It was never permanent status, it was temporary status.

00:18:49.000 And the court ruled correctly on this in a 6 3 decision.

00:18:54.000 These individuals, some of these guys have been here 15 to 20 to 30 years.

00:18:58.000 I understand that, but they had an opportunity during that time, if they wanted to try to change their status, they could.

00:19:03.000 They chose not to.

00:19:04.000 Now the temporary protective status is over.

00:19:07.000 They have to go home.

00:19:08.000 Now, they don't have to go to the country that they came from.

00:19:10.000 If they're not feeling safe, they can go someplace else, but they cannot stay here.

00:19:14.000 Your TPS, temporary protective status, is over.

00:19:17.000 So we will help assist you in leaving if you would like.

00:19:20.000 We'll buy you an airline ticket.

00:19:22.000 We'll give you $2,600 to reestablish yourself someplace else if you don't want to go back to the country you came from. 1.00

00:19:27.000 But you have to leave, and we're going to assist you in doing so. 0.99

00:19:31.000 And if you choose not to, then we'll pick you up and force you to leave.

00:19:35.000 For far too long, until my father, every time America tried to enforce the rules, the story became centered around.

00:19:42.000 The hardship of the person who might be removed.

00:19:46.000 Never the hardship of the American town that absorbs the consequences.

00:19:50.000 Never the hardship of the taxpayer that has to pay for all of this.

00:19:54.000 Never the hardship of the citizens who followed the rules and got pushed to the back of the line.

00:20:00.000 Never to the hardship of the illegal immigrant who did it right, paid the fees, waited the years, respected the process, and then watches activists tell everyone else to cut the line and dare the government to actually do anything about it. 0.95

00:20:16.000 You can't run a country that way. 0.99

00:20:18.000 You can't have temporary programs that can't be ended.

00:20:23.000 If no one can ever be removed, then the law is fake.

00:20:27.000 Now, this is where the old establishment used to win.

00:20:31.000 They could hide behind process, they could hide behind jargon, they could hide behind the Sunday shows, they could hide behind the idea that grownups in Washington somehow knew better than the people living with the consequences.

00:20:44.000 And it creates a real paradox for Democrats because their extreme base.

00:20:49.000 Is now going after even the most far left leaders one by one.

00:20:55.000 The left loves to tell you they're the tolerant ones, they're the inclusive ones.

00:21:01.000 And then the second one of their own steps one inch out of line.

00:21:04.000 I mean, you can still be like 99% radical Democrat, but one inch out of line.

00:21:08.000 You don't agree on one point that maybe your constituents 100% don't agree with, even the leftists.

00:21:13.000 And the mob shows up and eats you alive.

00:21:17.000 Check this one out.

00:21:20.000 Scott. 0.98

00:21:20.000 I think your legislation on trans issues and your legislation specifically protecting queers on the sex offender registry is fantastic. 0.98

00:21:34.000 Like, I really applaud you for that. 1.00

00:21:37.000 And I think you deserve to be here for that.

00:21:40.000 But I think your housing policy and specifically your housing policy aligning with Gimby's, and I think your policy.

00:21:50.000 And I think your policy on the genocide in Gaza, and I think your policy on the genocide in Gaza is terrible.

00:22:00.000 I think you do not belong here.

00:22:02.000 I think you do not belong here.

00:22:05.000 You do not belong here, Scott, anymore. 0.98

00:22:07.000 It sucks because you've been wonderful. 1.00

00:22:10.000 You've been wonderful for trans people and you've been terrible. 1.00

00:22:14.000 And you've been terrible. 1.00

00:22:16.000 You've been terrible. 0.98

00:22:18.000 You've been terrible on Gaza. 1.00

00:22:21.000 You do not belong here anymore, Scott, and it breaks my fucking heart. 1.00

00:22:25.000 It breaks my heart. 1.00

00:22:27.000 It breaks my heart that someone who wrote. 1.00

00:22:31.000 Good legislation for queers is so fucking terrible on Gaza. 0.98

00:22:36.000 Scott, do you have anything to say? 1.00

00:22:39.000 Do you have anything to say about Gaza?

00:22:43.000 How?

00:22:44.000 How could you do this to San Francisco?

00:22:48.000 How could someone like you do this to San Francisco?

00:22:53.000 Scott, say something.

00:22:55.000 Redeem yourself.

00:22:57.000 Do something.

00:22:58.000 Scott, I want.

00:23:00.000 I want to like the person who has such good legislation on trans rights. 1.00

00:23:08.000 Scott, I want to support someone who's so positive on trans rights, but you're a piece of shit on Gaza. 1.00

00:23:18.000 How could you do that? 1.00

00:23:20.000 How could you betray queers? 1.00

00:23:23.000 How could you repress people? 1.00

00:23:26.000 You stopped being queer the moment you started supporting Israel, you piece of shit! 1.00

00:23:32.000 So. 1.00

00:23:33.000 That was San Francisco lawmaker Scott Weiner at the trans march.

00:23:37.000 This is not some MAGA guy.

00:23:40.000 This is not a conservative activist.

00:23:42.000 This is one of the most far left San Francisco Democrats around who has backed the radical trans agenda for years.

00:23:51.000 This is a guy, I think, that wanted to decrease the penalties on pedophiles.

00:23:55.000 And I think he was the one, I could be wrong, but I think he was the one that actually wanted to not punish people if they had sex with someone else.

00:24:04.000 While having HIV and knowing it, okay, unprotected, like, yeah, it's not really criminal, right? 0.98

00:24:09.000 I mean, that's how radical this clown is, okay? 0.95

00:24:14.000 Now, maybe I'm wrong, but I think I got the right guy. 0.97

00:24:17.000 And what happens?

00:24:19.000 The same movement he helped in power, the same movement he literally led and created, turns on him on a dime. 0.63

00:24:28.000 They surround him, they shout him down, they kick him out because he supported Israel. 0.51

00:24:34.000 That's the modern left in one clip.

00:24:37.000 It's like a South Park episode.

00:24:39.000 But even those guys aren't that creative.

00:24:42.000 You can vote with them 99% of the time.

00:24:45.000 You can repeat the slogans.

00:24:46.000 You can bend the knee.

00:24:47.000 You can give them the policies, the funding, the language, the whole nine yards.

00:24:54.000 But the minute you fail one purity test, you're done.

00:24:58.000 You're out.

00:25:00.000 That's what normal Americans understand.

00:25:03.000 This ideology is never.

00:25:06.000 Ever satisfied.

00:25:07.000 You cannot please it in any way, shape, or form.

00:25:11.000 It doesn't build, it devours. 0.98

00:25:14.000 It devours free speech, it devours basic biology, it devours women's sports, it devours public safety, and eventually it devours its own far left lunatics as well.

00:25:27.000 And honestly, there's a lesson here.

00:25:31.000 When you feed the mob, don't act shocked when the mob gets hungry again.

00:25:36.000 Okay, when you give them everything you want every time, don't be surprised that they're going to want more.

00:25:42.000 They do it all the time.

00:25:44.000 The left created this idea.

00:25:46.000 Now they're finding out that purity tests don't stop just because you put the right pronouns in your bio or when you don't want to wear the ribbon at the AIDS walk.

00:25:56.000 The Democrat Party is eating itself alive right before our very eyes.

00:26:01.000 Check this out.

00:26:03.000 Alyssa Slotkin is channeling Democratic voters on this one because it's no longer the overall electorate that doesn't like Chuck Schumer. 0.97

00:26:11.000 Look at this change among Democrats themselves.

00:26:14.000 Chuck Schumer's net favorable rating with Dems now versus the last time Democrats were going for that Senate majority.

00:26:20.000 In early 2020, look at this.

00:26:22.000 Chuck Schumer was 40 points above water, very much on the positive side of the ledger with Democrats.

00:26:27.000 Look at this.

00:26:28.000 Look at this change.

00:26:29.000 This is not Johnny B. off on the side, going, my goodness gracious.

00:26:33.000 Now he's a point underwater with Democrats.

00:26:36.000 Chuck Schumer isn't unpopular overall.

00:26:38.000 He is that.

00:26:39.000 He's not just that.

00:26:40.000 He's actually not popular with Democrats.

00:26:42.000 Alyssa Slotkin, who's a moderate Democrat, her comments not coming out of left field.

00:26:46.000 Again, to be clear, this is among Democrats.

00:26:49.000 This is among Democrats where Chuck Schumer is struggling.

00:26:51.000 All right.

00:26:52.000 Those poll numbers, guys, are incredible.

00:26:55.000 Okay.

00:26:55.000 Democrats are now rejecting their own leaders like never before.

00:27:00.000 A little bit scary also because the people who they're going to replace those leaders with are far more radical than the already very radical people that are in charge.

00:27:08.000 But their own voters are looking at Schumer.

00:27:12.000 They're looking at Jeffries, looking at the same old faces who've been in Washington forever and saying, you know what?

00:27:19.000 They're not radical enough.

00:27:21.000 And of course, the media tries to call it a tumor effect, you know, like it's some mysterious phenomenon.

00:27:28.000 It's not a mystery at all.

00:27:30.000 Democrats spent years telling their voters, Trump was Hitler.

00:27:33.000 Democracy was ending.

00:27:35.000 Fascism was minutes away.

00:27:37.000 Schumer and Jeffries helped create that insanity.

00:27:40.000 They led the charge.

00:27:42.000 This is the arsonist calling the fire department.

00:27:45.000 Because remember how Democrat politics works.

00:27:49.000 When the old guard fails, the new guard doesn't say, you know what, maybe we got too radical.

00:27:54.000 Maybe we took it a little bit too far and the people are not reacting well to it.

00:27:58.000 The new guard says the opposite.

00:28:00.000 They say, actually, we need more communism.

00:28:03.000 We need more censorship.

00:28:04.000 We need more radical. 0.97

00:28:06.000 Obsession, more gender insanity, more open borders, more spending, more climate panic, more federal power, more of everything that got them here. 0.93

00:28:17.000 There's absolutely no self awareness with any of them. 0.99

00:28:20.000 But again, don't take my word for it.

00:28:22.000 Just look at what happened at the Seattle Pride Parade.

00:28:26.000 It's every Pride joke wrapped into one special clip.

00:28:32.000 Here's a Pride parade with a furry mascot marching down the street. 0.99

00:28:36.000 And then suddenly the whole thing turns into a trans. pro-Palestine political rally.

00:28:43.000 You can't make it up.

00:28:43.000 Check this out.

00:29:30.000 This is South Park.

00:29:31.000 As I said earlier, there are so many characters and contradictions, you can't even keep up.

00:29:37.000 You literally can't make it up.

00:29:38.000 You name it, they capture it, they slap the current flag on it, and then they tell you you're a bigot.

00:29:44.000 If you ask, I don't know, why the Children's Parade now requires a seminar on Palestine from people who say protecting LGBTQ rights is more important than anything. 0.87

00:29:56.000 Pretty sure it's not that important in Palestine. 0.92

00:29:58.000 Okay. 0.93

00:29:59.000 And the absurdity here is almost too perfect.

00:30:02.000 Because pride was already a political statement. 0.74

00:30:05.000 Then the pro Palestine activists show up and turn that into yet another political statement.

00:30:11.000 Then everyone has to pretend that the coalition actually makes sense, even if it's a great contradiction in terms.

00:30:18.000 It doesn't.

00:30:19.000 It makes sense only if the real religion is just anti Western resentment, anti Western culture, values, and everything this country was built on. 0.81

00:30:30.000 It's opposition to normal America. 0.96

00:30:33.000 It's opposition to nuclear families. 0.98

00:30:34.000 It's opposition to law and order, to patriotism. 0.93

00:30:37.000 It's against borders and any institution that hasn't bent the knee to the newest activist demand.

00:30:44.000 And once you understand that, the coalition actually makes a lot more sense.

00:30:49.000 They don't have to agree on substance.

00:30:51.000 I mean, who cares about substance, guys?

00:30:53.000 They don't have to share values.

00:30:56.000 They don't have to be coherent or even make a modicum of sense.

00:31:00.000 They just have to point in the same direction against you.

00:31:05.000 That's why the left can hold contradictions that would make a normal person's head explode. 1.00

00:31:11.000 Women's rights, but men's and women's sports. 0.92

00:31:15.000 Gay rights, but cheering for movements that would never tolerate them, that would literally throw them off of a roof of a building, as they've done many times in the past. 0.99

00:31:24.000 Democracy, but we want judges and agencies overriding the voters' will. 0.95

00:31:30.000 Compassion, but no compassion for the actual victims. 0.94

00:31:35.000 Science, but science, but you can be a hundred different genders at a moment's notice, just on a whim. 0.99

00:31:43.000 Tolerance, but destroy anyone who disagrees with you. 0.96

00:31:47.000 It's not logic, it's a tribal politics with a big, big, big budget.

00:31:55.000 And they don't just want their own event, they want your event too.

00:31:59.000 They don't just want their own club, they want your kids' classroom.

00:32:04.000 They want compliance.

00:32:05.000 They want the power to make everyone else repeat their lies.

00:32:10.000 And if you don't, there's a serious consequence.

00:32:13.000 Which brings me to this clip from a Democrat running in New York.

00:32:18.000 This one's incredible because it takes the exact same instinct and applies it to an issue no one is even focused on.

00:32:27.000 The Democrat nominee for New York's 7th District wants to abolish the TSA pre check and nationalize the entire airline industry.

00:32:36.000 Watch this out.

00:32:38.000 My hot take is we need to abolish pre check.

00:32:41.000 I've got like a million beefs with the airline industry in the process of having to fly.

00:32:46.000 We need to like nationalize the airline industry.

00:32:49.000 Let's start by abolishing.

00:32:51.000 They always end up in the same place, guys.

00:32:53.000 Nationalize it, right?

00:32:54.000 Communize it. 0.81

00:32:55.000 Let's make it a communist.

00:32:57.000 It's worked out so well before.

00:32:58.000 This time it's going to be different.

00:33:00.000 Make everything worse, make it slower, more expensive, more ideological, and somehow call that justice.

00:33:08.000 And I love the pre check part because it's such a window into their mindset, right?

00:33:14.000 TSA pre check is one of the few government related travel things that actually makes the airport slightly less miserable.

00:33:20.000 Okay.

00:33:21.000 They've got it done well, especially for, you know, it's there for people who travel a lot, you know, the people who don't walk through the x ray machine with all sorts of stuff still in their pockets, you know, people who've done this once or twice before.

00:33:30.000 It lets those who know what they're doing go through and do it relatively effectively and efficiently.

00:33:36.000 They get a faster line because, you know, they've gone through a vetting process.

00:33:40.000 They get a faster line because they've done this a bunch of times and they know how to speed things up.

00:33:44.000 Normal people hear that and say, great, maybe the security line won't ruin my day.

00:33:49.000 It makes it better for everyone else as well.

00:33:51.000 The left hears that and says, inequality, because they can't look at anything without somehow asking how to flatten it, how to politicize it, how to punish anyone who actually follows the process.

00:34:04.000 If you worked hard, that's a privilege.

00:34:06.000 If you saved money, that's a privilege.

00:34:09.000 If you went through the pre check process, apparently that's a privilege too.

00:34:15.000 This is why these people can't be trusted with anything.

00:34:19.000 They don't improve systems, they don't want to.

00:34:21.000 They resent systems that work better than their ideology.

00:34:26.000 That's a problem.

00:34:27.000 It needs to be fixed.

00:34:28.000 And when that system works, because it rewards responsibility, verification, planning, payment, or simply competence, they see it as an insult.

00:34:41.000 That's the core of modern leftism in one airport line.

00:34:45.000 And once you see it, guys, you really can't unsee it.

00:34:49.000 And here's the part I want people to understand because this is where the old Republican Party got it wrong for a very, very long period of time.

00:34:58.000 They thought the answer was to manage the left's institutions, you know, just manage them a little bit better.

00:35:04.000 Keep the agency, but maybe just appoint a nicer commissioner.

00:35:08.000 Keep the immigration loophole, but maybe ask Congress to tweak the timeline a little bit.

00:35:13.000 Keep the DEI office, but maybe change the training title.

00:35:18.000 Keep the foreign aid pipeline, but call it a new name.

00:35:21.000 That doesn't work.

00:35:23.000 It hasn't for decades, and it never will.

00:35:26.000 Underneath all of it is the same question who decides?

00:35:31.000 That's the real divide in the country right now.

00:35:33.000 Who decides?

00:35:35.000 It isn't left versus right in the old sense, right?

00:35:40.000 It's self government versus managed decline.

00:35:44.000 It's citizens versus managers.

00:35:47.000 Now, you'll still see Democrats putting on a hard hat for a campaign ad and pretend that they're for working people.

00:35:52.000 But honestly, at this point, does anyone believe it?

00:35:54.000 No, nobody believes it.

00:35:57.000 The guy stuck in the airport line does not believe it. 1.00

00:36:00.000 The family trying to find an apartment in a city flooded by illegal immigrants. 0.90

00:36:04.000 Does not believe it. 0.98

00:36:06.000 The small business owner getting strangled by agencies doesn't believe it at all.

00:36:11.000 The taxpayer reading about another fraud case, billions of dollars out the window, doesn't believe it.

00:36:18.000 And they probably haven't for a long time.

00:36:20.000 But remember, as we've covered week after week, the Democrat machine cannot survive without fraud.

00:36:27.000 Fraud is their feature.

00:36:29.000 It's not a bug, it's the feature. 0.81

00:36:32.000 And just last week, the number two figure in the Somali Minnesota record fraud scheme finally got caught.

00:36:39.000 In Somalia by the FBI.

00:36:41.000 Check this out.

00:36:44.000 The FBI calls him the number two guy in Minnesota's largest ever fraud scheme.

00:36:48.000 This evening, he is behind bars thousands of miles away.

00:36:52.000 Only WCCO's Jonah Kaplan talked to the team who tracked him down on another continent.

00:36:57.000 And Jonah joins us right now.

00:36:58.000 So he's been on the run for years.

00:37:06.000 Yeah, Amelia, if you go back to the original indictment for Feeding Our Future, there's Amy Bach, the convicted ringleader.

00:37:11.000 And then this gentleman, Abdi Kerm Idley.

00:37:14.000 He was last seen in Minnesota in November 2021.

00:37:18.000 Abdi Kerm Idle had booked a round trip ticket from Minneapolis to London and never came back.

00:37:23.000 But here he is in custody in Mogadishu, Somalia, four and a half years later.

00:37:28.000 This office has now been focusing intensively on fraud against the taxpayers of the United States and the taxpayers of Minnesota.

00:37:41.000 U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen and FBI Special Agent in Charge Christopher Dodson sat down with us for an exclusive interview about the joint operation with Somali intelligence.

00:37:51.000 It shows that the long arm of American law reaches all around the globe, that even in Somalia, you can't escape the FBI.

00:37:58.000 Was this something where you got a tip and all of a sudden he reappeared again?

00:38:04.000 Mr. Edley was on our radar for some time.

00:38:05.000 I can tell you that we have been tracking his whereabouts for a couple of weeks.

00:38:10.000 And when the time was safe and opportune for law enforcement, they sprung to action to take him into custody.

00:38:16.000 This sounds pretty significant that the government of Somalia was actually working with the United States, the FBI.

00:38:22.000 We were hand in glove in this investigation from the start.

00:38:26.000 And we owe a lot of gratitude to them for the success of this operation.

00:38:30.000 Along with Bach, Eadley allegedly recruited and bribed the businesses that submitted fake receipts and invoices to the Minnesota Department of Education in the Feeding Our Future scheme.

00:38:40.000 Investigators also allege Eadley personally took in more than $5 million in cash and used some of it to buy a house in Burnsville and also sent some of that to Uganda, China, and the UAE.

00:38:52.000 There were other people of importance, but there was, after Amy Bach, nobody exceeded Mr. Eadley in importance in the Feeding Our Future scheme.

00:39:02.000 We've talked about this before.

00:39:04.000 White papers or slogans about waste, fraud, and abuse don't solve crimes.

00:39:09.000 We're done with the working groups.

00:39:12.000 We're on the ground, putting people behind bars, grabbing them wherever in the world they are, and holding them accountable.

00:39:20.000 If you steal from the public, we're coming for you.

00:39:23.000 And this is what Washington never understood until my father came to town.

00:39:28.000 Fraud isn't just a budget problem, it's a trust problem.

00:39:32.000 It's a legal problem.

00:39:34.000 It undermines law abiding Americans' faith in the entire system.

00:39:38.000 The American people have been lied to for too long by people who hide power inside paperwork.

00:39:45.000 And that's why today is a good day for several reasons.

00:39:48.000 Because every story is a different version of the same crack in the wall the administrative state wall, okay?

00:39:56.000 The administrative state wall is a disaster.

00:39:58.000 The open borders wall, or I should say, probably lack of wall.

00:40:03.000 The Pride Parade delusion wall, but cracking the idea that these programs have to be treated as though they're sacred somehow just because the brochure uses some nice words and they jam it down your throat all day.

00:40:17.000 People who used to decide what you were allowed to question are losing control of the questions themselves.

00:40:25.000 And maybe, maybe that's the best part.

00:40:28.000 For years, the left didn't want to win arguments, they wanted to decide which arguments were actually allowed to be had.

00:40:35.000 You couldn't question pandemic experts, even if None of it made any sense.

00:40:39.000 You couldn't question money flowing to Ukraine in endless numbers and wars that no one wanted for a cause people didn't care about.

00:40:47.000 Hundreds of billions of dollars.

00:40:49.000 You couldn't question climate models.

00:40:52.000 So, what if the actual science wasn't there?

00:40:55.000 The model shows that we're supposed to be underwater right now.

00:40:59.000 You couldn't question gender ideology. 0.92

00:41:01.000 You couldn't question why every bank and law firm had to turn gay for the month of June. 0.80

00:41:07.000 But now, The questions are here. 0.99

00:41:10.000 The receipts are here.

00:41:12.000 And most importantly, the arrests are here.

00:41:16.000 And the MAGA mission, honestly, is pretty straightforward.

00:41:20.000 Fire the bureaucrats who defy the president.

00:41:23.000 Supreme Court helped with that one today.

00:41:26.000 And the temporary programs when the temporary time is over and when they become permanent.

00:41:32.000 Deport people who have no legal right to stay.

00:41:35.000 Prosecute fraud networks.

00:41:37.000 And most importantly, stop apologizing for wanting a country that actually works and succeeds.

00:41:45.000 In the end, guys, that's what this all comes down to a country that works.

00:41:50.000 There is no plan B. There is no backup plan.

00:41:53.000 America is it.

00:41:55.000 And remember that as we celebrate our 250th birthday later on this week.

00:42:01.000 Guys, that's the show for today.
