Summary

In this episode, I talk about why we're finally waking up and saying enough is enough of the "woke" garbage that's being pushed down our throats. I also talk about how we're actually starting to win some of the cultural wars, and why we should stop turning the other cheek while they jam all of their "lifestyle" into our throats and tell us what we should love. I hope you enjoy the episode, and tweet me if you have any thoughts or opinions on any of the topics covered in this episode. Transcript

00:00:00.000 Well, guys, I feel like so much of what we talk about on here has to do with negativity.
00:00:03.000 Unfortunately, that's the world in which we live.
00:00:05.000 The deck is sort of stacked against conservatives and what we are up against, whether it's mainstream media, whether it's big tech and Google and all of the craziness that's out there.
00:00:14.000 But every once in a while, there's a silver lining.
00:00:16.000 Every once in a while, there's that glimmer of hope, that distant glimmer that makes us keep going.
00:00:25.000 And honestly, guys, I think we're at the point where we're actually starting to win some of the cultural wars, okay?
00:00:30.000 I get it. We may not be performing great in elections.
00:00:33.000 That's a whole different story.
00:00:34.000 That ain't because we're winning on the narrative.
00:00:36.000 But if you look at books, movies, TVs, so many of the woke BS things lost money in 2022.
00:00:46.000 People are finally waking up and saying enough is enough.
00:00:50.000 We're no longer turning the other cheek while they cram all of their lifestyle in our throats and we're supposed to love every second of it.
00:00:57.000 People just said, you know what?
00:00:59.000 Go woke, go broke.
00:01:01.000 We're voting with our wallets.
00:01:03.000 We're not supporting those who do nothing but jam other people's lifestyle decisions down our throats.
00:01:09.000 And that doesn't mean we care about those things.
00:01:10.000 It means, like veganism or perhaps CrossFit, you know, we don't need to hear about it all the time.
00:01:17.000 We don't care what you do, but stop jamming it down our throats.
00:01:21.000 Couple examples, okay?
00:01:23.000 Disney's animated and openly LGBT Characters in Strange World tanked at the box office.
00:01:30.000 They had a budget of $180 million, yet took in only $24 million.
00:01:35.000 Toy Story, Lightyear, right?
00:01:38.000 Toy Story, one of the most heralded franchises of kids' movies by Pixar.
00:01:43.000 They did a same-sex kissing scene, and that's what they highlighted, and that's what they want to jam down your throats.
00:01:49.000 And guess what? $51 million at the box office.
00:01:53.000 That has to be borderline unheard of for that, right?
00:01:56.000 Another film that changed was the LGBT movie Bros about, I guess, I don't even know what it was about, but I remember the star, Billy Eichner, Was furious that people must be homophobic that they didn't see his movie.
00:02:10.000 Or again, maybe they just don't need your crap.
00:02:13.000 Maybe they don't care.
00:02:15.000 Maybe it's of no interest to them.
00:02:17.000 Or maybe, like a lot of people, they're just fed up of being force-fed this narrative.
00:02:24.000 They don't care what you do in your free life.
00:02:26.000 That doesn't make them homophobic.
00:02:28.000 They don't have to spend their money with you, but that's what the left has generally thought of these days.
00:02:33.000 Other films, like Robert De Niro's Amsterdam, that was basically like anti-Trump and was so over the top.
00:02:41.000 Even like film critics were like, okay, maybe it's a little too much.
00:02:45.000 I think it opened to a mere $6 million.
00:02:50.000 AOC's climate change documentary, to the end.
00:02:54.000 AOC, hugely popular, millions of people follow.
00:02:57.000 It earned $80 per theater in ticket sales.
00:03:01.000 $80! Because guess what, folks?
00:03:03.000 Like everything, the left thinks that anything bad in the world falls under two categories.
00:03:09.000 Climate change or white supremacy.
00:03:12.000 Maybe that's nonsense.
00:03:14.000 Maybe it's ridiculous and maybe we hear enough of it.
00:03:17.000 It doesn't make us against the environment.
00:03:20.000 It just means we don't need to hear AOC or whoever's writing for her jam their crap down our throats.
00:03:29.000 Jamal Hill, uh...
00:03:31.000 You know who she is? The sports commentator.
00:03:34.000 Says a bunch of stuff that if races were reversed, in my opinion, I don't think the person would get away with it, but that's my opinion.
00:03:41.000 Her book, 5,000 copies since it debuted in October, according to publisher data.
00:03:47.000 Okay, just so we understand. Triggered, my first book.
00:03:51.000 Great. Sold about 75,000 copies in week one.
00:03:55.000 She sold 5,000 copies, okay?
00:03:58.000 Not 75,000. 5,000 or not 50,000.
00:04:00.000 5,000 copies since October, okay?
00:04:03.000 That's a disastrous showing.
00:04:06.000 People are fed up.
00:04:07.000 You see Trevor Noah being canceled.
00:04:10.000 People have had enough.
00:04:11.000 So guys, I love that we're waking up.
00:04:14.000 I love that we're saying enough is enough.
00:04:16.000 I love that we're doing it respectfully.
00:04:18.000 And we're just saying, you know what? Do whatever you want.
00:04:21.000 We're just not going to keep funding it.
00:04:24.000 Look at Disney's share price.
00:04:26.000 Down the tank. Look at Netflix, what's going on there.
00:04:28.000 Down the tubes. Because we're sick of the nonsense.
00:04:32.000 And now we're finally voting with our wallets and saying enough is enough of the PC and woke garbage you're always jamming down our throats.
00:04:43.000 Do your thing. We'll do ours.
00:04:46.000 Stop force-feeding us.
