Triggered - Donald Trump Jr - Peter Doocy Stumps Biden's Press Sec - She Can't Answer

Why is it that the federal government is asking vaccinated Americans to wear masks to stop the spread of COVID-19, but at the same time, federal agents are also releasing COID19 positive border crossers into small towns in Texas? Why is this happening? And why is the White House not responding to a question from a reporter in the press briefing room during a press briefing on the issue? Why would they refuse to answer that question? Well, guess what? It's because they don't have the answers. They don't even have the words to answer the question, which is why no one should even be asking the question at all. The White House has no idea, and they won't even acknowledge it, let alone address the question. And why does it matter anyway? Well, we'll tell you why it matters, and why it's a good thing that they don t have the answer. And we'll also talk about why you shouldn't even be surprised by it, because it's not even a question you should be asking, right? And why it doesn't matter anyway, because we've been here before, and it's been covered in the media, and we know it's going to happen again. 00:00:00.000 Okay, guys, it's good to see at least one person in the White House press pool. 0.93

00:00:04.000 Not the lemmings that you usually see that just sort of nod along despite the hypocrisy. 1.00

00:00:08.000 Yeah, no, mask mandates. 0.89

00:00:10.000 That makes a lot of sense. We were definitely never told that they would magically disappear if we got vaccinated and all of these things, right?

00:00:16.000 That clearly never happened.

00:00:18.000 But Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre, In the White House press secretary's office during the press briefing, why is it that the federal government is asking vaccinated Americans to wear masks to stop the spread of COVID-19, but at the same time federal agents are also releasing COVID-19 positive border crossers into small towns in Texas?

00:00:39.000 I mean, it's a pretty legitimate question, right?

00:00:43.000 The borders are open.

00:00:45.000 It doesn't seem like they're testing anyone or certainly not testing everyone.

00:00:49.000 Doesn't seem like the mask mandates that they're literally saying they want you to comply with, that are going to be reinstated or you're going to get the lockdowns again.

00:00:58.000 You know, that kind of language that we're starting to hear a lot more of.

00:01:02.000 No one's asking that question.

00:01:05.000 I'm shocked. I'm just shocked that the media would just blindly go along with the Democrat narratives, despite the obvious hypocrisy, despite the fact that it's going against the science that has been beaten down our throats for months on end.

00:01:23.000 So check out this answer.

00:01:26.000 to the question I stated earlier and tell me, does it even come close to addressing the question?

00:01:32.000 Now, there's a lot there.

00:01:33.000 I mean, it's two minutes worth of garbage, but does it even get to answering the question?

00:01:38.000 And the answer is no.

00:01:40.000 And I'd have to ask you, why is that?

00:01:43.000 Why wouldn't they answer that question?

00:01:45.000 But at this point, none of this should surprise us in the least.

00:01:50.000 Why is it that the federal government is asking vaccinated Americans to wear masks to stop the spread of COVID-19?

00:01:57.000 But at the same time, federal agents are also releasing COVID-19 positive border crossers into small towns in Texas.

00:02:04.000 How is that? Well, let's step back for a second because, you know, this is...

00:02:08.000 Okay.

00:02:10.000 Very interesting. I'm sure everything's fine.

00:02:17.000 Something I said. Right.

00:02:19.000 It could be. But, you know, you did laugh at my joke, so maybe that's a reaction to laughing at my joke.

00:02:24.000 Okay, so let's – I just want to be very clear here.

00:02:27.000 I do want to answer your question, Peter.

00:02:29.000 First, just to step back and do this 30,000-foot view, there's been no change in Title 42.

00:02:37.000 Families and single adults are expelled if possible when apprehended at the southern border.

00:02:43.000 The majority of apprehensions that we saw at the border in June were expelled.

00:02:49.000 Those who can't be expelled or are awaiting processing are often placed in alternatives to detention programs while their cases are being reviewed.

00:02:59.000 CBP provides migrant with PPE from the moment they are taken into custody and migrants are required to keep masks on at all times, including when they are transferred or in the process of being released.

00:03:14.000 If anyone exhibits signs of illness in CBP custody, they are referred to local health systems for appropriate testing, diagnosis, isolation and treatment.

00:03:24.000 CBP takes its responsibility to prevent the spread of communicable diseases very, very seriously.
