Triggered - Donald Trump Jr - Protecting the Homeland, Plus Dems Fan the Flames Against ICE | Triggered Ep.306

00:06:22.000 Hey guys, welcome to another huge episode of Triggered.

00:06:26.000 Great to be with all of you today.

00:06:28.000 A woman tried to run over federal law enforcement officers in Minneapolis yesterday.

00:06:33.000 She weaponized her vehicle against an ICE agent.

00:06:36.000 And now, Democrats from Tim Walsh to the Minneapolis mayor are calling it murder.

00:06:41.000 They're calling it terrorism.

00:06:43.000 But there's new video, and it tells a much different story.

00:06:48.000 Meanwhile, we have more on the Somali fraud scandal, but Minnesota AG Democrat bigwig Keith Ellison now says it's not a serious matter.

00:06:59.000 Shocked to hear that, guys.

00:07:00.000 So stay tuned for all of it.

00:07:03.000 My father just announced he's going to ban large institutional investors from buying up single-family homes.

00:07:16.000 And Secretary Rubio just pulled us out of 66 anti-American international organizations.

00:07:24.000 So pretty solid week, I'd say.

00:07:26.000 Like I said, guys, so much to cover.

00:10:07.000 And now, let's get to all of the top headlines.

00:10:10.000 Let's start with what happened in Minneapolis yesterday because this story has everything.

00:10:16.000 It has video evidence.

00:10:18.000 It has Democrat politicians lying through their teeth. 0.52

00:10:21.000 It has the fake news running with a narrative that completely contradicts what actually happened.

00:10:26.000 I'm shocked to hear this, as I'm sure you are.

00:10:30.000 And it has Secretary Christy Noam and the entire administration standing behind our brave ICE officers.

00:10:38.000 Here's what we know.

00:10:39.000 Yesterday morning, ICE agents were conducting enforcement operations in Minneapolis.

00:10:44.000 This is part of the largest immigration enforcement operation ever carried out.

00:10:50.000 2,000 federal agents deployed to the Twin Cities.

00:10:54.000 During one of these operations, agents approached a vehicle that was blocking the road.

00:10:59.000 The driver refused to comply with lawful orders.

00:11:02.000 And when officers tried to get her out of the vehicle, she put it into gear and drove directly at an ICE agent.

00:11:09.000 The agent, fearing for his life, fired his weapon.

00:11:13.000 The woman died from her injuries.

00:11:15.000 Now, this is tragic.

00:11:17.000 No one wants to see anyone lose their life.

00:11:20.000 But let's be very clear about what the evidence shows.

00:11:24.000 There's video, multiple angles, and when you watch it, you can see exactly what happened.

00:11:58.000 Think about what you just saw.

00:12:00.000 The agents gave her multiple commands to exit her vehicle.

00:12:04.000 She refused.

00:12:06.000 And when she accelerated towards a federal law enforcement officer, that officer defended himself.

00:12:13.000 That's what happened.

00:12:14.000 But here's where it gets crazy.

00:12:16.000 Within hours, before any investigation was complete, Democrat politicians were out there calling this murder, calling it an act of aggression by federal agents.

00:12:28.000 Failed politicians like Tim Waltz, the guy who had to literally just drop out of his reelection campaign because of the fraud scandal in his state, the guy who was almost vice president of the United States.

00:12:41.000 Well, he decided to make things worse.

00:12:44.000 Much worse.

00:12:45.000 Here's what he had to say.

00:12:47.000 Well, I said this yesterday.

00:12:48.000 We've never been at war with our federal government.

00:12:53.000 I think in this case that the National Guard is their main mission.

00:12:57.000 They have a dual mission.

00:12:59.000 Rogue federal agent?

00:13:01.000 That's what he called an officer who defended himself against a vehicle being used as a weapon, defending himself against vehicular manslaughter?

00:13:10.000 Waltz activated the State Emergency Operations Center.

00:13:13.000 He's putting the National Guard on standby.

00:13:17.000 He told my father and Secretary Noam that they've done enough.

00:13:22.000 So he's going to weaponize the National Guard against federal law enforcement?

00:13:27.000 Huh.

00:13:28.000 How do you think this works out?

00:13:30.000 You know what, Tim?

00:13:31.000 We're exposing the billions in fraud that happened on your watch.

00:13:36.000 We've had to clean up the failures of your leadership and your party's leadership.

00:13:41.000 And apparently, that's too much for you.

00:13:44.000 But Secretary Noam wasn't having any of it. 1.00

00:13:48.000 She held a press conference and laid out exactly what happened.

00:13:52.000 Check it out.

00:13:53.000 We discussed what happened here today.

00:13:56.000 We have two very different viewpoints of it.

00:13:58.000 I talked specifically about the fact that we have laws.

00:14:01.000 They need to be enforced.

00:14:04.000 He knows that I believe sanctuary policies have protected criminals and placed a priority of them over the citizens that live here.

00:14:11.000 And he knows we'll continue to do our work.

00:14:13.000 And I encouraged him to work with us.

00:14:15.000 We've never had a cooperative arrangement with law enforcement here.

00:14:19.000 Whenever we've done investigations, whenever we've done police work, when we've been doing what we can to bring people to justice for the crimes that they commit, we haven't had the cooperation of the state of Minnesota or the city police here under the mayor's direction.

00:14:34.000 If you talk to any of these federal law enforcement officers, they'll say that when they call for backup in a situation, that it's hit and miss.

00:14:41.000 They were grateful today that the police chief and local law enforcement showed up at the scene and helped secure it to make sure that nobody was harmed and that the FBI could do their work.

00:14:51.000 But I would encourage them to work with us that we could form a partnership that would make sure that individuals have the opportunity to have a safe Minneapolis.

00:14:59.000 Secretary Noam is exactly right.

00:15:02.000 The woman refused to comply with lawful orders. 1.00

00:15:06.000 She attempted to use her vehicle as a weapon against a federal officer.

00:15:11.000 And the officer responded according to his training.

00:15:15.000 This is what happens when you try to interfere with federal law enforcement.

00:15:19.000 And you know what?

00:15:20.000 The vice president weighed in last night.

00:15:24.000 JD Vance posted on X that the agent was justified.

00:15:28.000 And he had a message for radicals assaulting, doxing, and threatening our ICE officers.

00:15:35.000 Congratulations.

00:15:36.000 We're going to work even harder to enforce the law.

00:15:40.000 Right?

00:15:41.000 That's the right message.

00:15:42.000 The left wants to intimidate law enforcement into backing down.

00:15:46.000 It's not going to work.

00:15:47.000 They want to rile up their base to create these kinds of things.

00:15:50.000 They want to make people feel like they don't actually have to comply with the law because they've been coddled for so long and they've been allowed to get away with this in these Democrat hellholes.

00:16:01.000 And of course, over at CNN, they didn't quite see it that way.

00:16:06.000 But thankfully, Scott Jennings was there to set the record straight.

00:16:11.000 The governor of Minnesota and the mayor of Minneapolis have weighed in and effectively called this guy a murderer.

00:16:16.000 I mean, there's obviously two points of view, and I assume there's going to be more facts that we're all going to learn in the days and weeks ahead.

00:16:16.000 They don't know that.

00:16:24.000 But it's pretty apparent this guy was standing in front of a vehicle and somebody accelerated it at him.

00:16:29.000 How this shakes out in the legal system, I don't know.

00:16:31.000 I do know this.

00:16:32.000 The president's been a strong proponent of standing up for these ICE agents and other federal law enforcement who have been, in fact, under assault from protesters since he took office and instructed them to simply enforce federal immigration law.

00:16:46.000 And we have seen, in my opinion, a lot of irresponsible rhetoric over the year from Democratic officials like Tim Walz who have called them Gestapo and murderers and everything else.

00:16:55.000 And so there are consequences to that kind of language.

00:16:59.000 And I think we're seeing that play out today.

00:17:02.000 And by the way, what was Jill Biden doing back in 2020 in Minneapolis when she went to allegedly oversee over Jill Biden, Dr. Jill, doctor of something, she went there to oversee these fraudulent programs as part of the American Rescue Plan.

00:17:21.000 In case you forgot, guys, here's a flashback.

00:17:24.000 First Lady Jill Biden making a stop in Minnesota today to tout the country's investments in child care.

00:17:29.000 She was joined by Governor Walls and Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra during a visit this afternoon to the University of Minnesota.

00:17:37.000 Biden highlighted major investments in child care through the American Rescue Plan.

00:17:42.000 Billions of dollars in funding have helped states like Minnesota keep health care and child care providers open and boost pay for child care workers during the pandemic.

00:17:50.000 First Lady says there's still more work to be done, though.

00:17:54.000 The challenges families face didn't just start with COVID-19 and we need fundamental changes if we hope to build back better than before.

00:18:06.000 More than 130,000 child care providers across the country have received federal funding.

00:18:11.000 Last year, the state of Minnesota received more than $500 million to help the child care industry.

00:18:17.000 During her visit, Joe Biden also made a pitch for universal preschool.

00:18:22.000 Now, here's something interesting that came out right after this shooting happened.

00:18:25.000 Libs of TikTok, big following on X and Instagram, posted what appears to be coordinated talking points to call the woman who tried to run over the officer a, quote, legal observer.

00:18:40.000 Look at your screen here for a second, guys.

00:18:43.000 Post after post from Democrat politicians saying almost verbatim, almost the exact same word-for-word thing, all using the same phrase, legal observer.

00:18:57.000 This is not organic.

00:18:59.000 This is not natural.

00:19:01.000 This didn't just happen.

00:19:03.000 This, like all of their messaging, is 100% coordinated.

00:19:08.000 These aren't random protesters showing up organically, just like they weren't in the Antifa riots, okay?

00:19:15.000 They're organized groups training people how to obstruct federal law enforcement, how to impede ICE operations, how to put themselves in harm's way and then claim victimhood when things go wrong.

00:19:29.000 This is what the administration has been warning about.

00:19:32.000 When you have politicians and activist groups encouraging people to interfere with federal officers doing their jobs, eventually someone is going to get hurt.

00:19:41.000 And then those same politicians turn around and blame the officers.

00:19:46.000 Rinse and repeat, we've seen it a thousand times, folks.

00:19:50.000 You know exactly what's going on.

00:19:52.000 It's a racket.

00:19:54.000 It's a scam.

00:19:55.000 And the American people see right through it.

00:19:59.000 Now, you might be asking yourself why 2,000 federal agents in Minneapolis, why are they there in the first place?

00:20:06.000 Why is this such a big deal?

00:20:07.000 Well, let me tell you why.

00:20:09.000 Because what's been uncovered in Minnesota is one of the largest fraud schemes in American history.

00:20:15.000 I imagine it's just the beginning, but it's one of the largest that's been uncovered.

00:20:20.000 Federal prosecutors estimate that up to $9 billion with a B, not million, $9 billion has been stolen from American taxpayers through fraud in social services programs, childcare, nursing programs, housing assistance, Medicaid, and the vast majority of this fraud is centered in one community.

00:20:42.000 Yesterday, the House Oversight Committee held its first hearing on this scandal, and the testimony was damning.

00:20:50.000 The whistleblowers, yeah, guys, there's whistleblowers.

00:20:52.000 Remember when whistleblowers were beyond reproach when they were lying about Trump?

00:20:56.000 Well, these are ordinary citizens.

00:20:58.000 Many of these people were in the administration, a Democrat administration in these states.

00:21:04.000 The whistleblowers tried to sound the alarm for years.

00:21:08.000 And what did Tim Waltz and Keith Ellison do?

00:21:10.000 They ignored it.

00:21:11.000 Or worse, they actively participated in suppressing it.

00:21:17.000 And here's something that just came out.

00:21:19.000 Homeland Security officials told Just the News that nearly $700 million in cash was flagged by TSA at the Minneapolis airport over the last two years.

00:21:31.000 $700 million being carried out in luggage by couriers, usually headed to Dubai through Amsterdam.

00:21:39.000 Think about that number.

00:21:42.000 70% of a billion dollars, cash leaving Minneapolis airport was 99% larger than the cash leaving John F. Kennedy in New York City?

00:21:53.000 How is that possible?

00:21:54.000 99% larger than one of the biggest airports anywhere in the world?

00:21:59.000 Bigger than JFK, Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth airports out of Minneapolis?

00:22:06.000 This was basically functioning as a foreign ATM machine, siphoning American taxpayer dollars out of the country.

00:22:14.000 And what was the Biden administration doing about it?

00:22:17.000 You guessed it, folks.

00:22:18.000 Absolutely nothing.

00:22:20.000 TSA agents were flagging these cash movements.

00:22:24.000 They were reporting them.

00:22:25.000 And the Biden administration showed zero curiosity.

00:22:29.000 Zero interest in investigating.

00:22:30.000 I wonder why that is.

00:22:32.000 Hmm.

00:22:33.000 Now, the Trump administration is on the ground.

00:22:36.000 The FBI is investigating.

00:22:39.000 Homeland Security is investigating.

00:22:41.000 IRS criminal investigations is involved.

00:22:44.000 And 98 defendants have already been charged.

00:22:48.000 85 of them of Somali descent.

00:22:52.000 Huh.

00:22:54.000 Huh.

00:22:55.000 Shocking, guys.

00:22:56.000 Shocking.

00:22:57.000 But do you know what Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison said when he was asked about this yesterday on CNN?

00:23:04.000 Nothing fraud is not a problem.

00:23:05.000 Of course it is a problem.

00:23:07.000 And of course we have to prosecute it.

00:23:10.000 And of course we have been prosecuting it.

00:23:13.000 Have you done enough, General, to do so?

00:23:15.000 I mean, one of the claims is that there has been hundreds of millions of dollars, but now there are some estimates that there could be $9 billion or more.

00:23:23.000 And Noam is just suggesting they took hundreds of people off the street who were involved in fraud.

00:23:28.000 Are you confident your office has done enough?

00:23:33.000 Of course we've done enough, and we're doing more every single day.

00:23:37.000 This is a political matter.

00:23:39.000 This is not a serious thing.

00:23:41.000 And I tell you.

00:23:42.000 This is not a serious matter.

00:23:44.000 This is political.

00:23:45.000 Oh, yeah, yeah, no.

00:23:46.000 $9 billion in fraud in your home state?

00:23:48.000 Not a serious matter.

00:23:49.000 $700 million in cash, 99% more than the other major, the actual major airports in this country?

00:23:55.000 No, this is not a serious matter.

00:23:56.000 This is political.

00:23:58.000 Give me a break.

00:23:59.000 Billions of dollars stolen from programs meant to feed hungry children, provide care to autistic kids, house disabled Americans.

00:24:09.000 You know where your taxpayers perhaps should be going to?

00:24:11.000 That money?

00:24:12.000 Stolen.

00:24:13.000 And Keith Ellison says it's not serious.

00:24:16.000 He says his office has done enough.

00:24:20.000 Really, Keith?

00:24:21.000 You've done enough?

00:24:22.000 I think you're right, but probably not the way you mean it.

00:24:25.000 Because audio has resurfaced of you, Keith, meeting in 2021 with people who would later be convicted in this fraud scheme.

00:24:36.000 Audio, where they're asking you for help getting more funding.

00:24:39.000 Audio, where they're talking about campaign donations.

00:24:43.000 Ah.

00:24:45.000 And guys, maybe that's why you think this isn't serious, Keith.

00:24:51.000 Maybe you're a little close to this whole thing.

00:24:54.000 Maybe you've been a huge beneficiary of it.

00:24:57.000 Maybe this is exactly how the Democrat apparatus always outraises Republicans across the board.

00:25:04.000 Maybe this money is getting siphoned back to the DNC, Act Blue, or the usual suspects, just like we saw with USAID.

00:25:14.000 Again, guys, rinse and repeat.

00:25:17.000 And at the congressional hearings yesterday, you had Democrat witnesses, Democrat witnesses, actually defending the fraud, because of course they would, right?

00:25:27.000 One witness was asked point blank by members of Congress whether large-scale immigration from Somalia had made Minnesota stronger or weaker.

00:25:36.000 And instead of answering honestly, the witness dodged and deflected, because we all know that answer is not yes, okay?

00:25:44.000 Give me a break.

00:25:45.000 And when members of Congress asked about English proficiency, the Democrat witness called the question inappropriate, right?

00:25:52.000 They don't, we can come here, they can do whatever they want, they don't have to assimilate, we have to pay them whatever they want.

00:25:57.000 Then they can steal it and send it home and keep the Democrat apparatus going.

00:26:01.000 And of course, no one's going to investigate in that state because they can't get elected if they're not supporting the apparatus that funds them and votes to keep the fraud going.

00:26:12.000 I mean, it's a vicious cycle of epic proportions.

00:26:16.000 Watch this clip from Nancy Mace.

00:26:20.000 My first question is this, Mr. Baliu, this afternoon.

00:26:25.000 Should Somalians in Minnesota be required to speak English?

00:26:28.000 They're citizens.

00:26:31.000 Yes or no?

00:26:32.000 Should they be required to speak English if they're American citizens?

00:26:35.000 I think that question is really inappropriate.

00:26:37.000 Should they?

00:26:38.000 It's not inappropriate.

00:26:39.000 This is the United States of America.

00:26:40.000 Do you speak English?

00:26:41.000 Should Americans speak English? 0.96

00:26:43.000 Citizens speak English?

00:26:44.000 Yes or no?

00:26:46.000 Point of inquiry.

00:26:47.000 Is English the official language of the United States?

00:26:50.000 It's a question I'm going to ask you to do.

00:26:50.000 Mr. Chairman, I'm being interrupted again by another.

00:26:54.000 I would like to reclaim my time, Mr. Chairman.

00:26:57.000 Mr. Chairman, I'd like to reclaim my time.

00:26:59.000 She's asking the way to be a popular. 0.97

00:27:02.000 That's not a valid issue.

00:27:03.000 It's a fine question.

00:27:05.000 Women have a right to speak in this committee. 1.00

00:27:07.000 Conservative women have the right to speak here and not be interrupted. 1.00

00:27:14.000 I would like to scream.

00:27:17.000 I lost like 10 seconds there.

00:27:19.000 Okay, we'll give you 10 seconds.

00:27:20.000 54% on food stamps.

00:27:24.000 73% on Medicaid.

00:27:27.000 81% on welfare in general.

00:27:30.000 81%.

00:27:32.000 After 10 years in the country, 78% are still on welfare.

00:27:37.000 So what are they bringing to the country?

00:27:40.000 Why are we letting people who are just draining a system that's already stressed that could be going to actually help Americans?

00:27:48.000 Why are we doing nothing about it?

00:27:51.000 How is it appropriate to ask whether people can speak English in America?

00:27:56.000 How is it inappropriate to ask factual questions about taxpayer-funded programs?

00:28:04.000 The left doesn't want to have this conversation because the facts do not support their narrative.

00:28:10.000 Democrats in Minnesota allowed billions to be stolen on their watch.

00:28:14.000 They ignored whistleblowers.

00:28:16.000 They suppressed investigations.

00:28:19.000 And now, and now that the Trump administration is actually enforcing the law and holding people accountable, they're screaming racism and calling ICE agents murderers.

00:28:32.000 All right.

00:28:34.000 So while all this chaos is happening in Minneapolis, let me tell you what else happened yesterday, because there's a lot.

00:28:40.000 Because while Democrats were melting down about law enforcement doing their jobs, the Trump administration was out there delivering real wins for the American people.

00:28:49.000 Energy Secretary Chris Wright was at a conference in Miami and he announced something huge.

00:28:55.000 Remember how my father captured the dictator Maduro and liberated Venezuela?

00:28:59.000 It feels like a long time ago, even if it was just this weekend.

00:29:02.000 Well, now we're getting their oil.

00:29:04.000 Check this out.

00:29:06.000 So we put that blockade on Venezuela.

00:29:08.000 They're still producing oil.

00:29:10.000 They can't ship it to the world.

00:29:11.000 So it's in floating storage and tankers, mostly illegal sanctioned gray market tankers, and it's on onshore storage in Venezuela.

00:29:20.000 So we are in dialogue with the Venezuelan government.

00:29:23.000 Say, let's work together to fix Venezuela.

00:29:25.000 We got rid of the head of the gang, Nicolas Maduro and his wife.

00:29:28.000 They're in prison.

00:29:30.000 Work with us.

00:29:31.000 Let's improve your country together.

00:29:33.000 So we're going to now allow those tankers to flow, but we're going to market that crude.

00:29:38.000 They fully understand this.

00:29:40.000 They're a partner in doing that.

00:29:41.000 We're going to allow that crude to be sold so that revenue can be generated, but then we're going to control the flow of that revenue to make sure it's going for productive reasons in Venezuela.

00:29:51.000 Let me be more direct.

00:29:52.000 Is there a narrative in Venezuela that you are stealing our oil?

00:29:56.000 I have not heard that narrative.

00:29:57.000 I've seen celebrations in the street and Libre Venezuela out.

00:30:02.000 I think people are thrilled.

00:30:03.000 They've lived under between Chavez and Maduro 26 years in a brutal dictatorship that's only devastated that country and hurt the whole hemisphere.

00:30:12.000 So I've not heard that narrative at all.

00:30:13.000 And of course, if that narrative's out there, it's untrue.

00:30:16.000 We're just controlling the flow of revenues from their oil.

00:30:20.000 Venezuela is going to turn over between 30 and 50 million barrels of sanctioned oil to the United States.

00:30:28.000 And this is not a one-time thing.

00:30:31.000 50 million barrels at 50 bucks a pop, that's pretty solid, guys.

00:30:35.000 Secretary Wright said we're going to control Venezuelan oil sales indefinitely.

00:30:40.000 That oil was going to China.

00:30:42.000 Now it's coming to the United States.

00:30:45.000 When people and Democrats were screaming, what does America want to do with Venezuela?

00:30:50.000 Well, guys, what did China want to do with Venezuela?

00:30:53.000 What did Russia want to do with Venezuela?

00:30:55.000 What did Iran want to do with Venezuela?

00:30:58.000 I would rather us control our hemisphere and that oil rather than giving it to our enemies who are going to weaponize it against us.

00:31:07.000 And here's the key part.

00:31:08.000 The revenue from those sales will be deposited into accounts controlled by the United States.

00:31:14.000 We're going to use that leverage to drive real change in Venezuela, to rebuild their infrastructure, to help the Venezuelan people, and to make sure that country becomes an ally, as it always had been, instead of a narco-terrorist state-funding Hezbollah that flooding our streets with drugs.

00:31:35.000 Seems like a pretty solid change to me.

00:31:37.000 Seems like a really beneficial change in direction.

00:31:42.000 This, guys, is what peace through strength looks like.

00:31:46.000 This is what happens when you have a president who actually knows how to negotiate.

00:31:50.000 Biden couldn't do it.

00:31:52.000 Obama couldn't do it.

00:31:54.000 Bush couldn't do it.

00:31:55.000 And even if they could, none of them were willing to even try.

00:31:59.000 My father gets it done.

00:32:02.000 And speaking of getting things done for the American people, let me tell you about something my father announced yesterday that's going to make a huge difference for working families.

00:32:10.000 Okay, the stuff that's really important that, of course, the media will never cover and will get lost in the maze of fake news and or a barrage of the narrative that has nothing to do with it.

00:32:21.000 They don't want you thinking about this stuff.

00:32:23.000 Well, they're banning large institutional investors from buying single-family homes.

00:32:31.000 Want to get down to Washington?

00:32:33.000 We have some breaking news out of the White House.

00:32:34.000 Eamon Javers has that for us.

00:32:36.000 What do we know here, Eamon?

00:32:38.000 Scott, we've got a new post here on social media from the President of the United States who says he is taking action to deal with inflation in home costs.

00:32:46.000 The president taking the social media to say that I am immediately taking steps to ban large institutional investors from buying more single-family homes, and I will be calling on Congress to codify it.

00:32:57.000 People live in homes, not corporations.

00:33:00.000 I will discuss this topic, including further housing and affordability proposals and more at my speech in Davos in two weeks.

00:33:07.000 So the president here is saying that the American dream of owning a home has gotten out of reach for too many Americans, particularly young Americans, and says he is going to take steps to block large institutional investors from buying homes.

00:33:20.000 People live in homes, not corporations.

00:33:23.000 That's exactly right, guys.

00:33:25.000 For years, large institutional investors have been buying up single-family homes all across the country.

00:33:31.000 They turn them into rentals.

00:33:33.000 They squeeze families out of the market.

00:33:35.000 They drive up prices and rents and make it impossible.

00:33:40.000 And young Americans who are trying to achieve the dream of home ownership are left out in the cold.

00:33:46.000 Well, not anymore.

00:33:47.000 My father announced he's immediately taking steps to ban large institutional investors from buying more single-family homes.

00:33:55.000 And he's going to call on Congress to codify it into law.

00:33:59.000 Wall Street may not be happy, but you know who is happy?

00:34:02.000 Working families who want to own a home instead of renting from a corporation and being beholden to them forever.

00:34:12.000 This is what happens when you have a president who actually puts American workers and American families first.

00:34:19.000 The Democrats talk about housing affordability.

00:34:22.000 They talk about helping young people, but they never actually do anything about it because their donors are the ones profiting from the current system.

00:34:31.000 My father doesn't care about Wall Street donors.

00:34:34.000 He cares about American families, and this policy proves it.

00:34:39.000 And while we're talking about wins for American families, let's talk about what Secretary RFK Jr. and Secretary Brooke Rollins announced yesterday.

00:34:49.000 The new dietary guidelines for Americans.

00:34:53.000 Okay, this is huge, guys.

00:34:55.000 This is Maha in effect.

00:34:57.000 Make America Healthy Again.

00:34:59.000 For decades, the federal government has been giving Americans terrible nutritional advice, probably because the biggest corporations in America were paying them to do so, telling people to load up on carbs and grains, pushing low-fat this and low-fat that.

00:35:14.000 And what happened?

00:35:16.000 Obesity rates have skyrocketed.

00:35:19.000 Diabetes has skyrocketed.

00:35:21.000 Heart disease, chronic illness, et cetera, all through the roof.

00:35:25.000 We're sicker than ever.

00:35:28.000 Well, Bobby Kennedy Jr. just changed all of that.

00:35:32.000 Today, about 50% of the calories that our children eat are ultra-processed foods or highly refined carbohydrates that's literally poisoning them.

00:35:43.000 And that is the result of a food pyramid that was driven by mercantile impulses that put fruit loops at the top of the fruit pyramid.

00:35:54.000 We now have a science-based food pyramid that is based upon the most recent best science.

00:36:00.000 And it's telling people to eat proteins, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and whole grains.

00:36:08.000 And that is going to transform the American dietary culture.

00:36:13.000 Eat real food.

00:36:14.000 Wow, what a concept.

00:36:16.000 It's almost revolutionary.

00:36:18.000 The new guidelines bring back the food pyramid.

00:36:21.000 But as many of us who've been paying attention to this for a long time have known, the new food pyramid is inverted.

00:36:28.000 The old one never made any sense and made us fat and sick and unhealthy.

00:36:34.000 At the top now, where the biggest portion is, you've got protein, dairy, healthy fats, vegetables, and fruits.

00:36:44.000 At the bottom, in the smallest portion, where you should be eating the least of, you've got whole grains and highly processed foods, seed oils, ultra-processed garbage, added sugars.

00:36:55.000 They're telling Americans to cut that stuff out.

00:36:59.000 This is Make America Healthy Again.

00:37:01.000 This is the movement in action.

00:37:03.000 For the first time, federal dietary guidelines are actually recommending that Americans avoid highly processed foods.

00:37:11.000 It's shocking that it took this long.

00:37:13.000 Again, many of us have known about it for a long time.

00:37:16.000 But for the first time, they're saying full-fat dairy is fine because the non-fat dairy is just jacked up with sugar to make up for the lack of taste.

00:37:25.000 That made you fat.

00:37:27.000 They're emphasizing real whole foods over processed foods and processed food-like substances, right?

00:37:34.000 That big corporations have been pushing on us for decades.

00:37:38.000 The food industry isn't happy.

00:37:41.000 Some of the so-called experts who've been giving Americans bad advice for pay for decades are also not happy.

00:37:50.000 But you know who's happy?

00:37:51.000 Parents who want their kids to grow up healthy.

00:37:54.000 Families who are tired of being lied to about nutrition.

00:37:58.000 This is what happens when you have someone like Bobby Kennedy who isn't beholden to big food and big pharma.

00:38:04.000 He's actually trying to make Americans healthier.

00:38:07.000 And these new guidelines are a huge step in the right direction.

00:38:13.000 Now let me tell you about something else that happened yesterday that the fake news is definitely not going to cover properly.

00:38:19.000 Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the United States is withdrawing from 66 international organizations.

00:38:28.000 66 organizations, guys.

00:38:30.000 35 non-UN organizations and 31 UN entities.

00:38:36.000 All of these deemed to be either redundant, mismanaged, wasteful, captured by interest working against us, or literally threats to our sovereignty.

00:38:47.000 For years, American taxpayers have been subsidizing globalist bureaucrats who actively work against our interests.

00:38:54.000 Organizations that push climate alarmism while China pollutes without consequences.

00:39:00.000 Organizations that lecture America while taking our money.

00:39:03.000 Organizations that undermine our sovereignty and our freedoms, right?

00:39:06.000 This is like USAID, right?

00:39:08.000 I don't know.

00:39:08.000 You know what could fix Venezuela?

00:39:10.000 Like a few billion dollars, then $100 billion so we can make their kids trans and, I don't know, hope that something works out well for America. 0.99

00:39:19.000 Not anymore, folks.

00:39:20.000 Secretary Rubio said it perfectly.

00:39:23.000 The days of billions of dollars in taxpayer money flowing to foreign interests at the expense of our people are over.

00:39:30.000 This is America First in action, guys.

00:39:33.000 We're not going to pay for organizations that don't serve American interests.

00:39:37.000 We're not going to fund bureaucrats who hate us.

00:39:40.000 If these organizations want to continue their work, they can do it without American taxpayer dollars.

00:39:47.000 And by the way, the review is ongoing.

00:39:50.000 There may be more withdrawals coming because my father is going through every single one of these institutional entanglements and asking one simple question.

00:40:00.000 Does this serve the American people?

00:40:03.000 If the answer is no, we are out.

00:40:07.000 All right, guys.

00:40:08.000 Before we wrap up, I want to take a moment to talk about what happened exactly one year ago, yesterday.

00:40:15.000 Okay?

00:40:15.000 The one-year anniversary of the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.

00:40:20.000 The Palisade fires, the Eaton fire.

00:40:23.000 31 people lost their lives.

00:40:25.000 Over 16,000 structures destroyed.

00:40:31.000 Entire neighborhoods wiped off the map.

00:40:33.000 It was one of the worst natural disasters in California history.

00:40:37.000 And you know what?

00:40:39.000 A year later, those communities are still struggling to rebuild.

00:40:43.000 Insurance companies are fighting people.

00:40:46.000 Permitting is a nightmare.

00:40:48.000 The infrastructure still isn't there.

00:40:50.000 Families who lost everything are scattered across the country.

00:40:54.000 Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Colorado, because they could not wait for California to get its act together.

00:41:02.000 With more pipes bursting at destroyed homes, the pressure in the system dropped catastrophically.

00:41:02.000 Check this out.

00:41:12.000 This is my house.

00:41:14.000 It's the only house on the corner that survived.

00:41:17.000 We can't live in it right now because even though it's one of the few homes still standing in the neighborhood, it has been damaged by the fire and also has high levels of contaminants.

00:41:28.000 So my family and I had to leave and could not return.

00:41:32.000 I feel like I'm doing the very best I can to report on what's happening in Pacific Palisades, to give voice to the concerns of the community, but also to help my family return home.

00:41:45.000 Mr. President, my name is Joel Pollack and I am a journalist, but I happen to live in the Pacific Palisades.

00:41:52.000 But we should not have to rely on buckets to put out a fire.

00:41:56.000 That's right.

00:41:57.000 You can't stop an 80-mile per hour wind or 100-mile per hour wind, but there were many things that went wrong here that are basic and small.

00:42:05.000 California's state and local leaders have struggled to manage the recovery.

00:42:10.000 LA's hand-picked recovery czar left after three months.

00:42:13.000 Bureaucratic red tape has held up rebuilding permits.

00:42:17.000 The city council can't figure out whether to waive permit fees.

00:42:20.000 And residents say there hasn't been meaningful property tax relief.

00:42:24.000 When it comes to like City Hall and Sacramento, negligence is the word I can only come up with about January 7th.

00:42:34.000 I've been involved in Democratic politics for a long time.

00:42:36.000 And so I've been so disappointed to see people not just rolling up their sleeves and getting to work.

00:42:42.000 I'm a Reagan conservative.

00:42:44.000 And what was it he was famous for saying?

00:42:46.000 The worst thing you're going to hear is we're the government and we're here to help.

00:42:49.000 I've seen more of that in action.

00:42:51.000 I have so much rage in me against the administration and the government here and not only local in LA, but statewide.

00:42:59.000 Think about that, guys.

00:43:00.000 One year later, and maybe 25 to 30% of residents plan to rebuild.

00:43:06.000 The rest have given up.

00:43:09.000 They've folded.

00:43:10.000 They've left.

00:43:11.000 They've moved.

00:43:12.000 The state failed them so badly, they decided to start over somewhere else.

00:43:17.000 And what was Governor Newsom doing during those fires?

00:43:20.000 He was playing politics.

00:43:22.000 He was attacking my father for pointing out that California's water management policies contributed to the disaster.

00:43:29.000 He was more focused on being a resistance hero than actually helping his own people.

00:43:33.000 And if you don't believe me, go back and see the clip.

00:43:36.000 And maybe we should play it here now, of my father talking about this in his first term.

00:43:42.000 Newsom had an opportunity to have millions of gallons a week, a day, millions and millions of gallons come down from the north.

00:43:51.000 And I was able to get him federal approval from that, from actually from the Department of Commerce of all departments.

00:43:58.000 I didn't realize it would go through commerce.

00:44:00.000 I would have thought environmental, but it goes through commerce.

00:44:03.000 I got all of the approvals and he said, I don't want to sign it.

00:44:07.000 I don't want the water.

00:44:08.000 We don't need the water.

00:44:09.000 I said, you need the water.

00:44:10.000 Your reservoirs are empty.

00:44:12.000 The whole place, you need the water.

00:44:13.000 That was five years ago.

00:44:15.000 And I had it all done.

00:44:17.000 The work was all done.

00:44:19.000 We sent it to him.

00:44:20.000 He refused to sign it.

00:44:22.000 And if you notice yesterday, the hydrants were empty.

00:44:25.000 They didn't have any water.

00:44:26.000 Way before the fires.

00:44:28.000 Okay.

00:44:28.000 It's not like California doesn't have water.

00:44:30.000 Most of this stuff was right on the coast.

00:44:32.000 They're on the Pacific Ocean, a few feet away.

00:44:36.000 Couldn't come up with a way to pump that.

00:44:38.000 Couldn't do that because, you know, that would make sense.

00:44:40.000 That would require someone to do their job.

00:44:43.000 That would require the agencies and the heads of those agencies to not be trans, whatever, people who have no experience doing any of those things.

00:44:52.000 The infrastructure wasn't there.

00:44:54.000 The reservoirs were drained for environmental reasons.

00:44:58.000 The fire departments were understaffed. 1.00

00:45:01.000 Their command was staffed with woke idiots who had no business being there. 1.00

00:45:07.000 The response was chaotic. 1.00

00:45:08.000 And now a year later, the people who survived are still fighting to put their lives back together.

00:45:15.000 This is what happens when you have Democrat leadership that cares more about ideology than about the people they're supposed to serve.

00:45:23.000 This is what happens when you have politicians who would rather virtue signal about climate change than actually maintain the basic infrastructure that protects communities.

00:45:32.000 My heart goes out to everyone who lost loved ones, who lost their homes, who lost their communities in those fires.

00:45:41.000 They deserve better from their leaders.

00:45:43.000 And hopefully, over the next few years, they'll get new leaders who actually put them first.

00:45:51.000 Guys, the Trump administration is delivering results for the American people.

00:45:56.000 I know you won't hear about it or read about it in conventional sources.

00:45:59.000 They're enforcing the law, fighting corruption, putting America first.

00:46:05.000 And the left is melting down about it.

00:46:08.000 They're melting down about all of it.

00:46:10.000 Guys, thanks for tuning in.

00:46:13.000 Make sure that you're liking, sharing, and subscribing.

00:46:15.000 Okay, like, hit the button right now.

00:46:17.000 It takes two seconds.

00:46:23.000 Okay, if you haven't done it already, subscribe.
