00:00:00.000 Guys, today we're mourning the loss of a true conservative icon, an incredible American, someone who has really reshaped the conservative movement over the last few decades, and that's Rush Limbaugh.
00:00:16.000 We found out that Rush had cancer about a year ago and he passed away earlier today.
00:00:22.000 And, you know, he's someone that I know so many of you respect, so many of the people that follow me, that follow my father, that follow sort of, you know, our rise in the political sphere.
00:00:34.000 I know that he's someone that so many of you all just totally respect.
00:00:39.000 I mean, there's people, you know, in my political circles that look at him like a deity, like a god, just someone who took on The establishment, but also took on the radical left.
00:00:53.000 Someone who never bowed down.
00:00:56.000 Someone who never gave up or gave in or succumbed to their nonsense.
00:01:02.000 Someone who pushed back against cancel culture, probably before it was ever called cancel culture.
00:01:08.000 Someone who just, you know, took all of those stones that were thrown at conservatives for decades
00:01:15.000 and just, you know, went right back at them and never gave up.
00:01:20.000 But more importantly, you know, over this year with that diagnosis,
00:01:25.000 sort of never lost his spirit, was never broken by the disease,
00:01:33.000 but actually lived an incredible life with it.

00:01:41.000 I think that's perhaps what made him such an incredible communicator was that you felt like you really knew him.
00:01:47.000 He opened up his heart, his mind, and your eyes to everything that's going on in the world.
00:01:55.000 And, you know, I think I try to do some of that a little bit myself.

00:02:05.000 It isn't really put together.

00:02:10.000 And I think Rush is probably the first guy to actually do that.

00:02:23.000 I've gotten to spend some time with him over the last few years.
00:02:27.000 Obviously one of the early sort of supporters of my father and the things that we were doing in the movement.

00:02:33.000 He was all for it.
00:02:34.000 And, you know, honestly, I think he helped create some of that and that enthusiasm for Donald Trump.
00:02:41.000 I was there, obviously, when he got the Medal of Freedom at the State of the Union last year.
00:02:47.000 Just absolutely incredible to see that, and you could see how much of that meant to him as an American, as a patriot, and as someone who just loves this country.
