Summary

Joe Biden is about to deliver his State of the Union speech, and we're here to break it all down. We're joined by J.D. Vance and Matt Boyle to talk about what Joe Biden's going to say, and why it's not likely to be a good one. We also have an interview with Bernie Moreno, the Democratic challenger for the U.S. Senate seat in Ohio, who's running against Joe Biden in the primary, and a look at the impact Joe Biden has had on the economy since Joe Biden took office. We'll also talk about why Joe Biden is a terrible president and why he's not a good president at all, and how much of what he's actually done in office has been a complete waste of time and money. Triggered is a show about politics, economics, and pop culture. Hosted by John Rocha and Matt, and produced and produced by Mark Phillips and Alex Blumberg. Transcript

00:00:00.000 you you
00:04:58.000 what's happening guys welcome to another huge episode of Triggered.
00:05:26.000 We are just a couple of hours away from Joe Biden's State of the Union.
00:05:31.000 But it's more like a state of absolute confusion, of degeneracy, of incompetence, of stupidity.
00:05:39.000 But, I don't know.
00:05:41.000 I have a feeling we're gonna hear a lot of lies.
00:05:43.000 Now, if Joe's able to actually walk to the podium and talk, he's going to give a speech
00:05:50.000 full of lies.
00:05:51.000 The White House claims that Joe Biden is going to try to explain how he's done more in three
00:05:56.000 years than other presidents have done in two terms.
00:06:03.000 If we're talking about the destruction of America, of our values, of Western civilization,
00:06:10.000 maybe he's actually right.
00:06:11.000 But if we're actually talking about being productive, if we're talking about things that are accretive to our greater good, then I would say not even remotely close.
00:06:22.000 But thankfully, guys, my father will be delivering rapid response on Truth Social.
00:06:28.000 He's going to be live texting it from Truth Social.
00:06:31.000 So I'm sure that that's going to be pretty amazing.
00:06:35.000 And more people will probably be following that than the actual speech.
00:06:39.000 So we'll have some fun with that one.
00:06:40.000 We're also going to be joined tonight by two incredible guests.
00:06:44.000 We're going to have Ohio Senate candidate Bernie Moreno.
00:06:47.000 That's the Trump-endorsed candidate for the United States Senate out of Ohio.
00:06:52.000 He's got a primary. I guess it's next Tuesday.
00:06:55.000 And so, not this coming Tuesday, but the following.
00:06:58.000 But obviously, got to get that going.
00:06:59.000 And you got early voting and everything like that.
00:07:01.000 So I think Bernie Moreno is going to be great.
00:07:03.000 A great addition to J.D. Vance, rock star.
00:07:06.000 Senator actually got to spend a lot of time with J.D. last night in Washington, D.C. And we also have Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matt Boyle, who's going to join us and lay out some of the biggest stories the rest of the media is missing.
00:07:20.000 This is going to be an interesting one.
00:07:21.000 I'm actually used to being on Matt's show, being the interviewed individual, and now I get to be the interviewer.
00:07:27.000 So we'll have some fun with that one and have a cool conversation.
00:07:29.000 So, guys, make sure you're liking...
00:07:32.000 That you're sharing. That you're subscribing.
00:07:35.000 So that you never miss one of these episodes.
00:07:36.000 Remember, you can also get triggered on Spotify and Apple Podcasts,
00:07:41.000 so you never miss an episode if you're traveling, if you're not perhaps by your computer, if you get your
00:07:45.000 podcast that way, or if you know other people that subscribe to those places
00:07:50.000 and get their podcast that way.
00:07:51.000 So you can get some more of the truth out, because God knows the mainstream media isn't going to do it.
00:07:56.000 So they tell you to build your own, and we did just that.
00:07:59.000 So check out MXM News.
00:08:01.000 News M.
00:08:03.000 MXM, like minute-by-minute news, where you can get mainstream news without the mainstream bias.
00:08:08.000 That's my news app. I've created it so that you could see everything.
00:08:12.000 And we'll actually show you even the left-wing stuff, and you can compare and contrast.
00:08:16.000 But it's not like Google search where you get 400 pages of, you know, the CNN version of the story, not the truth.
00:08:22.000 So wanted to make sure we're fighting it on every battlefield out there to make sure we get the truth out there.
00:08:28.000 So let's start by delivering a little reality check on the real state of the union under Joe Biden, guys.
00:08:37.000 Biden will claim tonight that Bidenomics is actually amazing.
00:08:41.000 Now, don't believe your lying eyes, folks.
00:08:45.000 Things are actually great.
00:08:48.000 They're incredible. Joe will say this with a straight face.
00:08:52.000 The mainstream media, big tech will probably back it.
00:08:56.000 But back in the real world, folks, everyone knows that Bidenomics is an abject failure.
00:09:02.000 Here's just a few statistics.
00:09:04.000 These are important because people have to understand what's really happening.
00:09:08.000 Food prices are up 21% since Joe Biden took office.
00:09:14.000 Okay? 21% in three years.
00:09:18.000 Median household income has fallen for two years straight, and credit card debt has hit an all-time high.
00:09:27.000 Does that sound like an incredible economy to you?
00:09:29.000 No, that sounds like we're on the brink of hitting a wall going 1,000 miles an hour.
00:09:34.000 Biden's surely going to talk about immigration, and he'll pretend that he's not at all at fault.
00:09:39.000 He'll blame Trump or Republicans because he opened our borders.
00:09:44.000 The insanity won't stop.
00:09:46.000 Biden's already said that he's done all he can do on the border, which is nothing, right?
00:09:51.000 Which means he's done all he can do.
00:09:54.000 I mean, do you believe that?
00:09:56.000 I mean, he's done all you can do to actually open up the border.
00:09:59.000 I agree with that. But to actually control the crisis, the invasion that's happening there?
00:10:05.000 I don't think so.
00:10:07.000 It's crazy. The illegals get that.
00:10:10.000 Look at this guy at the border today, wearing a Biden campaign shirt.
00:10:15.000 He said he's wearing the Biden campaign t shirt so that he gets let into the country.
00:10:31.000 Huh. Smart guy, actually.
00:10:34.000 Joe Biden's open borders policies has let in 10 million illegal immigrants, including murderers, rapists, terrorists.
00:10:42.000 The fentanyl crisis is going crazy.
00:10:46.000 Human trafficking, sex trafficking, child sex trafficking.
00:10:49.000 Ah, and not exactly great things.
00:10:52.000 But Joe Biden is directly responsible for all of that and the death of so many Americans, like Lincoln Riley, who I'm sure he's not going to mention tonight.
00:11:04.000 The real state of the union is that America is poorer and more dangerous because of Joe Biden's awful presidency.
00:11:11.000 And it's not just Joe Biden, folks.
00:11:13.000 This is Democrat policy.
00:11:15.000 He is doing all the things the Democrats said they would do.
00:11:19.000 We cannot let this just hang on Joe Biden.
00:11:22.000 Their entire political party is about all of these things.
00:11:27.000 Things are not only bad at home, but they're worse abroad.
00:11:31.000 There's a war in Europe...
00:11:33.000 There's another one going on seemingly in the Middle East.
00:11:36.000 A container ship just sank after being shot with a missile fired by the Houthis, a terrorist group that Joe Biden took off the terrorist list.
00:11:46.000 Can't make this stuff up, folks.
00:11:48.000 So what's Joe Biden's solution to Hamas and Gaza?
00:11:52.000 He's reportedly going to announce tonight at the State of the Union that American troops are going to build a port in Gaza so that aid can enter.
00:12:01.000 Biden is going to put Americans in harm's way to help Hamas.
00:12:06.000 He's rushing to do that to please the radicals in his party.
00:12:11.000 He'd rather send American troops to Gaza to build a port there than to send troops to our border to protect our nation.
00:12:21.000 Speaking of troops, though, guys, and troop deployments, New York Governor Kathy Hochul has deployed the National Guard, the National Guard, to secure New York City's subways.
00:12:34.000 This is remarkable for a couple of reasons.
00:12:37.000 First, just four years ago, we were told that it's the Nicest place to live.
00:12:42.000 And it's fascist to use the National Guard and fight off violent crime.
00:12:47.000 You can't do that. Remember when my father was talking about sending him to Portland and Seattle and these places that were under siege?
00:12:55.000 Yeah, I know. That was the move of a fascist.
00:12:57.000 But now, we're using the National Guard to guard New York City subways.
00:13:03.000 Then we're told that it's a right-wing conspiracy theory that New York subways are dangerous.
00:13:08.000 How dare you say New York subways are...
00:13:11.000 Dangerous. How dare you?
00:13:13.000 Well, they're not safe.
00:13:15.000 If they were, we wouldn't be deploying the National Guard.
00:13:18.000 You don't like someone ripping a crack pipe in the seat next to you?
00:13:22.000 Ah, come on, guys. That's racist.
00:13:25.000 That's just life in the big city, folks.
00:13:29.000 These are the lies they tell us every day.
00:13:31.000 New York's subway has got dangerous because of people like Letitia James, the Attorney General.
00:13:36.000 James wants to target political opponents instead of keeping New Yorkers safe.
00:13:41.000 Well, today, Letitia James was reminded of just how unpopular she is from the people she's supposed to be representing, who have been forgotten, who are dealing with crime-riddled streets, murder, rape, drug use.
00:13:56.000 It doesn't stop there.
00:13:58.000 But now, she got drowned out by Trump chant at a New York City Fire Department event.
00:14:06.000 Watch this one. And today's...
00:14:22.000 Guys, these leftists don't understand just how unpopular they actually are with the people they're supposed to represent.
00:14:34.000 They don't care because big tech will do their bidding and they're loved by the mainstream press.
00:14:38.000 But that's the reality of what's going on.
00:14:40.000 That's the fire department in New York, the great men and women of the FDNY. That's why John Kerry feels free to say crazy things like Russia's war would be more popular if they cut carbon emissions.
00:14:55.000 I'm not kidding, folks. He actually said that.
00:14:57.000 These are the people that we're told were the adults like back in charge or something like that?
00:15:02.000 Watch this for yourself.
00:15:05.000 Russia is one of the largest emitters in the world.
00:15:09.000 If Russia wanted to show good faith, They could go out and announce what their reductions are going to be and make a greater effort to reduce emissions now.
00:15:19.000 And maybe that would open up the door for people to feel better about what Russia is choosing to do at this point in time.
00:15:29.000 These are supposedly serious people, folks.
00:15:31.000 But yeah, again, I'm sure he's being lauded all over by the elites and otherwise.
00:15:36.000 I'm sure he's never met actual real Americans and certainly wouldn't spend any time with them.
00:15:41.000 Got some good stories from my Secret Service detail about him back in the day.
00:15:44.000 I obviously would never betray their trust, but let's just say, not exactly a man of the people.
00:15:48.000 And so... We're good to go.
00:16:13.000 Look a lot like the North Koreans, okay?
00:16:17.000 That's how their news agencies work.
00:16:20.000 Very hard-hitting news brought to you by the great people at the mainstream media who've been lying to you for years.
00:16:27.000 Look at Joe Scarborough say that Joe Biden is actually sharper and better than ever.
00:16:33.000 He said this seriously as though any human being, no matter how Democrat...
00:16:40.000 That crazy left-winger you are.
00:16:43.000 Does anyone really believe that Joe Biden is better now than ever before?
00:16:47.000 Has anyone ever heard him speak like 20 years ago and compared it to him now?
00:16:52.000 It ain't the same, folks.
00:16:53.000 But Joe Scarborough, he'll tell you he's better than ever.
00:16:59.000 But comparing that guy's mental state, I've said it for years now.
00:17:05.000 He's cogent. Yeah.
00:17:07.000 But I undersold him when I said he was cogent.
00:17:10.000 He's far beyond cogent.
00:17:12.000 In fact, I think he's better than he's ever been intellectually, analytically, because he's been around for 50 years.
00:17:23.000 And, you know, I don't know if people know this or not, Biden used to be a hothead.
00:17:29.000 Sometimes that Irishman would get in front of the reasoning.
00:17:33.000 Sometimes he would say things he didn't want to say.
00:17:36.000 This is...
00:17:37.000 And I don't really...
00:17:39.000 You know what? I don't really...
00:17:40.000 Start your tape right now because I'm about to tell you the truth.
00:17:44.000 And F you if you can't handle the truth.
00:17:48.000 This version of Biden...
00:17:53.000 Intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever.
00:17:57.000 Not a close second.
00:17:58.000 And I've known him for years.
00:18:00.000 The Brzezinski's have known him for 50 years.
00:18:02.000 If it weren't the truth, I wouldn't say it.
00:18:09.000 I mean, seriously?
00:18:11.000 First of all, Joe Biden was literally always known as the dumbest person in the United States Senate.
00:18:17.000 By many, the dumbest person in all of Congress.
00:18:20.000 That was his reputation.
00:18:21.000 But Joe Scarborough, like, really believes that Joe Biden is at his best, folks.
00:18:27.000 Really? Joe Biden's at his best?
00:18:30.000 Who could possibly believe that?
00:18:33.000 The guy gets lost on a stage daily.
00:18:36.000 He has handlers guiding him around.
00:18:38.000 He walks like he's got poopy diapers.
00:18:40.000 I don't even think Joe Biden believes that he's at his best.
00:18:44.000 I certainly don't think his family does.
00:18:46.000 I don't think anyone in the White House does because they're doing damage control every day.
00:18:50.000 Scarborough is just sucking up to Biden because Morning Joe is Biden's new favorite show or something like that.
00:18:57.000 Well, this morning, a new ad from the Super PAC MAGA Inc.
00:19:02.000 ran on Morning Joe.
00:19:04.000 I don't think Biden liked seeing it very much.
00:19:07.000 Check this one out. I guess I should clear my mind here a little bit.
00:19:21.000 We can all see Joe Biden's weakness.
00:19:24.000 If Biden wins, can he even survive till 2029?
00:19:30.000 The real question is, can we?
00:19:33.000 Make America Great Again Inc.
00:19:34.000 is responsible for the content of this advertising.
00:19:38.000 Yeah, no, that guy's at the top of his game, folks, according to Joe Scarbo.
00:19:43.000 But that's the whole election right there.
00:19:45.000 Can Joe Biden actually survive for four more years in office?
00:19:49.000 Will he survive if he's president for four more years?
00:19:52.000 Will we? I mean, what's going on in our country, it would be hard to imagine that we could continue this for four more years.
00:20:00.000 That would mean another 10 million illegal immigrants and another 20% rise in prices and your mortgage payments.
00:20:09.000 And when it all starts collapsing and tumbling down, I'm sure they'll come up with a great solution to fully bury the American dream.
00:20:18.000 Welcome to my show!
00:20:40.000 This is a great one. This is, I think, our first time you've heard me talk about them as an actual sponsor, but we've got to talk about Public Square.
00:20:49.000 You've heard me say it over and over, guys.
00:20:51.000 We've got to support the companies that support us, that share our values.
00:20:54.000 Public Square is the marketplace for the patriot economy, where you can find businesses and consumers who share your values.
00:21:02.000 So whether you go on as a business, whether you go on as a consumer, find the people who share your values.

00:21:13.000 You can let your dollars reflect your values. Talk about voting with your wallet.
00:21:17.000 Do that there. Don't give your money to companies who hate you.
00:21:21.000 Give it to freedom-loving companies who actually support you. And if you're a business,
00:21:25.000 there's millions of consumers looking to find you. List your business on Public Square and
00:21:31.000 move our country one step closer to defeating woke capital.
00:21:36.000 You don't have to choose between what you buy and what you believe anymore, guys. Or choose
00:21:41.000 between what you sell and who you support.

00:21:49.000 You know, if you're traveling and you want to find the non-woke coffee shop, there's so much you can do on the app, on the website, and support the patriot economy.
00:21:57.000 And together, we will build that economy and save our country.
00:22:02.000 So again, check them out at publicsquare.com.

00:23:19.000 So with that folks, I'm gonna bring in my good friend, Ohio Senate candidate, Bernie Moreno.
00:23:26.000 Bernie, good to have you back, man.
00:23:27.000 How are you doing?
00:23:28.000 I'm doing great. I'm here in Lorain County, Ohio, the center of Trump country.
00:23:33.000 We're really excited to have this election in 12 days.
00:23:37.000 Nikki Haley's gone, but we're still going to show up and make our voices heard and have record turnout for President Trump.
00:23:44.000 Well, I mean, so you have your primary coming up as well.
00:23:49.000 I know I was with you in Ohio last week.
00:23:51.000 I know you were down here doing fundraising.
00:23:52.000 I mean, you're working it hard. What's going on there?
00:23:55.000 How can people go vote early?
00:23:56.000 When does that end versus Election Day, etc.?
00:24:00.000 So people have started voting already, election days and 12 days, so March 19th.
00:24:06.000 There's me running with President Trump's endorsement and J.D. Vance and Jim Jordan.
00:24:10.000 And I have two Nikki Haley, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney wannabes on the other side.
00:24:16.000 And, you know, they know That President Trump is going to be our 47th president.
00:24:20.000 That's done. That's signed, sealed, and delivered.
00:24:23.000 And so those same people that spent hundreds of millions of dollars to try to tear down President Trump are now going to try to put bad actors in the Senate and the House We're good to go.
00:24:51.000 What do you expect to hear tonight from Joe Biden's State of the Union?
00:24:54.000 You're around there. We did a bunch of events last week.
00:24:57.000 You're running around Ohio, dealing with real people who have real problems, real issues.
00:25:03.000 How have his policies impacted Ohio?
00:25:07.000 Really working class Americans, Don.
00:25:09.000 You have people who were barely getting by that are now getting by with credit cards.
00:25:13.000 Credit card debt's up almost 50% with high interest rates, inability to refinance their homes.
00:25:21.000 They go to the grocery store, and quite frankly, guys are demasculated when they have to tell their wives and kids that they can't get the large Cheerio box because they just can't afford it.
00:25:31.000 They have to get the white bread instead of the hamburger buns because they can't afford it, even though They've done everything they were supposed to do.
00:25:38.000 They work hard. They go to work.
00:25:40.000 And I see this country giving billions and billions of dollars to house illegal migrants and fight foreign wars, but just won't even take care of American citizens.
00:25:49.000 And they're pissed off.
00:25:50.000 And they're sick of it. Yeah, no, it's crazy.
00:25:54.000 And again, it is so palpable around the country.
00:25:58.000 I mean, so obviously you mentioned you're endorsed by my father, by myself, Jim Jordan, J.D. Vance, you know, sort of the rock stars of our movement.
00:26:06.000 And you're running for Senate in Ohio.
00:26:08.000 And God knows that our Senate Republicans, many of them need a little bit of a boost because they're a little bit too weak for me.
00:26:15.000 So I love that's going on.
00:26:17.000 But, you know, you're running against And we'll be ultimately running against when you win this primary, and I think you will.
00:26:21.000 And everyone should be, if you're in Ohio, go vote for Bernie Moreno.
00:26:25.000 If you know people in Ohio, call them and tell them to vote for Bernie Moreno.
00:26:28.000 Bring your friends. Let's make sure we can stack the deck.
00:26:31.000 I told you to do the same thing with J.D. Vance.
00:26:33.000 He's turned out to be an absolute rock star, and he's also endorsed.
00:26:37.000 Tell us how important it is to defeat Sherrod Brown and give Ohio that extra Republican senator.
00:26:44.000 I know he plays that margin, pretends he's so many things that he's not, but he's basically a full-fledged Democrat that gets away with pretending to be moderate.
00:26:57.000 Absolutely. He votes with Biden almost 100% of the time.
00:27:00.000 He runs the banking committee in the Senate.
00:27:02.000 He takes his orders from Elizabeth Warren.
00:27:04.000 He's Elizabeth Warren's lapdog.
00:27:06.000 The policies that he espouses are the policies that are hurting and crushing working-class Americans.
00:27:11.000 He wants us driving electric cars, not having gas stoves, powering our houses and our businesses with windmills and solar panels.
00:27:18.000 And he's the guy that when push comes to shove, you have to realize this guy's been running for elected office Since Richard Nixon was in office.
00:27:29.000 Pretty unbelievable. Never worked in a private sector.
00:27:32.000 This is exactly what's wrong with D.C. These lifers are killing us.
00:27:36.000 We need term limits. We need to get these swamp creatures out of there and put outsiders, business people like your father that really made a difference in D.C. Yeah, and it's sort of interesting, right?
00:27:46.000 You see, you know, Ohio produces a Jim Jordan, it produces a J.D. Vance, and yet the other two people that you're running against, your opponents, I mean, they're literally like from the Liz Cheney, you know, Mitt Romney, you know, I guess what's left of that, you know, the.05% of the party that still believes that stuff.
00:28:03.000 How does that happen?
00:28:05.000 Talk about your opponents so that people understand what they're all about and And what that would mean.
00:28:09.000 And what do the voters actually need to know?
00:28:12.000 Or for the people watching that have friends in Ohio or from Ohio, what do they need to know to understand that, you know, it's not just a choice between sort of three America first candidate.
00:28:20.000 It's the opposite. It's you, the Trump endorsed candidate who's actually America first, and a bunch of like Washington, D.C. swamp creature type rhinos.
00:28:29.000 Absolutely. So one of them, Matt Dolan, his family owns the Cleveland Indians.
00:28:33.000 Let me just make that clear. The Cleveland Indians.
00:28:36.000 It'll never be the other name.
00:28:38.000 Yeah, by the way, they changed the name, right?
00:28:40.000 That's the first tip.
00:28:42.000 If you take the Cleveland Indians, a storied baseball franchise, and you change the name, you bend the knee because probably three woke people complained and they have to...
00:28:52.000 If you bend the knee for that, you're going to bend the knee for literally everything out there.
00:28:57.000 So... That's all I actually need, though I'm sure there's more.
00:29:03.000 Even worse, believe it or not, last night, last night, he called for amnesty for illegal immigrants.
00:29:10.000 So think about that. Not ten years ago, five years ago, yesterday was saying that we have to provide visas to people who are here illegally to give them a path to residency.
00:29:20.000 Insane. My other opponent is Frank LaRose, the current Secretary of State.
00:29:25.000 This guy's been running for office basically his entire adult life.
00:29:30.000 We'll blow with the wind, whatever it takes.
00:29:33.000 He's a guy that thinks we should be all in for Ukraine.
00:29:36.000 He doesn't think we should be deporting illegals.
00:29:38.000 He's a big government guy.
00:29:40.000 He pretends to be a President Trump supporter, but he's a John Kasich, Mitt Romney type that has even Only two years ago, calling President Trump a racist because he said that Ilhan Omar, she loves her country so much, she should go back. And he said, well, that's racist.
00:29:58.000 And even last night said, well, you know, his personality and his tweets weren't great, but I like his policies.
00:30:05.000 Totally false. These guys are so disingenuous.
00:30:07.000 These guys are the ones that would stab him in the back if they ever had a shot at being in the United States Senate.
00:30:13.000 Yeah, no, I think that's really important.
00:30:15.000 So, you know, yeah, make sure you guys understand that.
00:30:17.000 Make sure your Ohio friends understand that.
00:30:19.000 Make sure they vote. Bernie, you have, I guess, early voting till like right before, right?
00:30:25.000 And then so you could basically go at any time.
00:30:30.000 The last day of early voting is Sunday, March 17th, St.
00:30:34.000 Patrick's Day. So go vote before you have a drink.
00:30:37.000 Then we take a pause on Monday and then election day as on Tuesday.
00:30:41.000 It's important to bank your vote.
00:30:43.000 I said this the other night in a debate, Don, and the media, of course, went crazy.
00:30:47.000 I said vote 11 times.
00:30:49.000 One time, of course, is your vote, but then go find 10 friends, people who don't know the primaries here.
00:30:55.000 We have to send a clear message that Ohio is Trump country and that we're going to put in America first person in the United States Senate to take out Sherrod Brown.
00:31:04.000 Well, Bernie, you know, thanks so much for all of that.
00:31:06.000 I guess, you know, maybe the last question, because, you know, some of the people, the great people of Ohio have really been left behind by a lot of the Biden policies.
00:31:13.000 And in the case of East Palestine, by Joe Biden himself, how did the residents there...
00:31:19.000 How are they faring? How do they feel about Joe Biden?
00:31:22.000 What about the symbolism of just how poorly Biden handled all of that?
00:31:26.000 You know, literally talking about going, you know, a year after it, you know, Trump was on the ground in a couple of days.
00:31:31.000 You know, I know you've met with the people there.
00:31:34.000 What's going on there? It's a tale of America first.
00:31:38.000 So two days, two or three or four days after the train derailment explosion, the town was hurting.
00:31:45.000 Joe Biden, the commander-in-chief supposedly, is in Ukraine, giving them more money, more billions of our taxpayer dollars to fight another endless war.
00:31:55.000 President Trump flew up.
00:31:56.000 It was a cold, rainy day.
00:31:58.000 Almost the entire town lined up greeting him, because what they sensed in him was empathy.
00:32:03.000 We care about you.
00:32:05.000 We're here. Bought the town of McDonald's, right?
00:32:08.000 A year later, a year goes by, and finally Biden shows up.
00:32:12.000 The entire town showed up again.
00:32:14.000 But this time, the sign said something called FJB. You saw those signs everywhere through East Palestine, Ohio.
00:32:22.000 And they said Trump 2024.
00:32:25.000 They turned their backs on him when he drove down the street because he turned their backs on them.
00:32:30.000 They know what's going on.
00:32:31.000 And this story was not by accident.
00:32:33.000 The Democrats, the elites, they hate white working class Americans.
00:32:37.000 They look at them as incidental people that they have to deal with, ignorant deplorables.
00:32:43.000 And they know that they feel it, which is why your father is going to win this election by a landslide election.
00:32:50.000 And we need people in the House and Senate that will have his back, not stabbing him in the back.
00:32:56.000 We have to get the agenda through.
00:32:58.000 Well, Bernie, I really appreciate it.
00:32:59.000 Thanks so much, guys. Make sure anyone you know in Ohio, make sure they're voting for Bernie Moreno for the United States Senate there.
00:33:05.000 He's going to help us out.
00:33:06.000 He's going to fight hard for us.
00:33:08.000 He's become a good friend.
00:33:09.000 Self-made businessman.
00:33:10.000 He gets it. He understands.
00:33:12.000 Doesn't need to do this, but loves this country and is going to fight for it.
00:33:16.000 So, Bernie, thank you so much.
00:33:18.000 Good luck with everything.
00:33:20.000 And I look forward to getting back up to Ohio to help you win that general.
00:33:24.000 Thank you. Well guys, so joining me now, Breitbart News, D.C. Bureau Chief, Mr.
00:33:34.000 Matt Boyle.
00:33:35.000 Matty, what's going on, buddy?
00:33:36.000 How are you? Don, always a pleasure to be here.
00:33:40.000 I feel like the roles are a little bit reversed right now.
00:33:43.000 I'm used to phoning into your radio show on your weekend mornings, so this is a first.
00:33:50.000 I get to actually grill you now.
00:33:51.000 It's good. You get to ask me all the tough questions.
00:33:55.000 Exactly. Well, listen, you recently broke a story that China has increased its market share of medical gloves sold in the United States under Joe Biden.
00:34:06.000 What is going on with all of this?
00:34:09.000 How is Joe Biden actually helping China?
00:34:13.000 I mean, I guess this is the payback for the billions they invested with Hunter and the money to the grandkids and all of this stuff, but how is it Actually happening, and why is no one actually talking about this?
00:34:23.000 Yeah, look, what happened is when your dad was in the White House, what he was doing was, and this was something that really started in earnest with the pandemic, with the beginning of COVID, we started to realize that all of this stuff, this personal protective equipment, was not made in the United States, right?
00:34:42.000 Like, this is a problem that has been around for decades with all the globalization and all of these You know, companies that have been bringing stuff overseas.
00:34:51.000 And your dad started via the Defense Production Act and other measures that he had taken at the beginning of the pandemic to try to invest, to build these factories here in the United States to make this stuff.
00:35:04.000 Now, what we zoned in on in this story in particular is what are called nitrile gloves.
00:35:10.000 So anytime any medical professional touches you, right?
00:35:14.000 So if you go to the doctor's office, you get blood drawn.
00:35:16.000 You get surgery, anything like that.
00:35:19.000 The medical professional has to wear gloves.
00:35:22.000 We go through billions of pairs of these gloves, hundreds of billions of pairs every year in the United States.
00:35:28.000 But it's not just medical professionals.
00:35:29.000 Police officers are wearing them, first responders, medical EMTs, etc.
00:35:34.000 Then in addition to that, anybody that's handling microchips, semiconductors, they're wearing them.
00:35:42.000 And anybody that's handling food are wearing nitrile gloves.
00:35:45.000 So in the course of your everyday life, just going about your life, you're encountering somebody or some interaction every day where multiple different times you're using these gloves.
00:35:58.000 So why don't we make any of them in America?
00:36:01.000 Well, Trump tried to actually get that going, right?
00:36:04.000 So we started seeing the funding for programs during the Trump administration to build these factories, and it was booming, right?
00:36:12.000 We built the factories.
00:36:13.000 They're there right now in Southwest Virginia.
00:36:16.000 They're just not producing anything because the Biden administration screwed the whole thing up at the beginning of the Biden administration.
00:36:23.000 They shifted everything from the Pentagon over to the Department of Health and Human Services
00:36:29.000 and undercut the whole thing.
00:36:30.000 And Senator J.D. Vance, who we just broke on Breitbart, is going to be boycotting the State of the Union this evening.
00:36:36.000 So he's not appearing at the State of the Union address at all.
00:36:40.000 So members of Congress are all allowed to go.
00:36:42.000 So you just broke that story now.
00:36:44.000 He's not even going because of these failures.
00:36:47.000 Yes, so J.D. Vance has boycotted the State of the Union.
00:36:51.000 But a few weeks ago, or a couple weeks ago, Senator Vance sent this detailed letter to the Secretary at HHS, Javier Becerra, asking for in-depth information about these plans.
00:37:04.000 But the problem is... These plants are built.
00:37:07.000 They're there. They just don't have the final steps yet from the Biden administration, the funding that they need to get up and operational to be able to make this stuff here.
00:37:16.000 So what's happened is, over the course of the Biden administration, The Chinese Communist Party has increased their market share of the percentage of these gloves that they make.
00:37:26.000 When your dad left office, it was somewhere in the high single digits.
00:37:33.000 Now it's close to the majority of the gloves that we import are from China, and it will be, on the current trajectory by the end of this year, more than 60%.
00:37:43.000 So China could, if they shut off the importation of these nitrile gloves, I mean, they make half the antibiotics, they make half the medicines, if not more.
00:38:00.000 I mean, we're really beholden to someone who's proven to be, you know, essentially functioning, you know, as evil individuals.
00:38:07.000 I mean, they knew about COVID, they didn't tell.
00:38:09.000 They stopped travel within China, but not out of China, because they were, you know...
00:38:12.000 If they're going to go through it, they're going to make sure the rest of the world suffers with them.
00:38:15.000 I mean, that's pretty clear.
00:38:16.000 I don't want to be beholden to China for just about anything, but watching these guys do that, to take those active steps, to make it harder for us to not be commingled with them and dependent on them is truly next-level insanity.
00:38:32.000 Yeah, no, I couldn't agree more.
00:38:34.000 And this is why, and last time I was with your dad back in December, we talked about this, is that he was talking about how he was getting this stuff starting to come back to the United States, but the Biden administration screwed the whole thing up.
00:38:47.000 In fact, I think one of the coolest things that you guys could do for the campaign this year would be go to these empty factories.
00:38:53.000 They're there, right? Like, they're there in Southwest Virginia.
00:38:55.000 I know that Virginia is a state that Republicans haven't won in a long time, But they did win it for 50 years in the lead up to 2008.
00:39:07.000 Before then, it was a Republican state in every presidential election except for one.
00:39:12.000 I think showcasing how Biden screwed over these working class people, and there are thousands of jobs that would be there.
00:39:21.000 So these are good, hardworking factory jobs in Southwest Virginia that would be there for American workers.
00:39:29.000 That are not there because Joe Biden is the president.
00:39:32.000 And every one of our law enforcement, medical professionals, food handlers, etc.
00:39:39.000 in the United States is now dependent on the Chinese Communist Party for the gloves that they wear every day.
00:39:45.000 I think showcasing that would be fantastic.
00:39:47.000 And it's not just gloves.
00:39:48.000 It's everything. Yeah, no, it's so much.
00:39:52.000 We've sold our soul to save two cents on a widget, and that's a big part of corporate America as well.
00:39:57.000 I mean, we've got to bring that back.
00:40:00.000 But what do you think, as we get into the State of the Union, what do you think's been Joe Biden's biggest failure as president?
00:40:06.000 I mean, it seems like there's a lot of them, but what's the worst?
00:40:11.000 I think the border has to be the number one thing here.
00:40:14.000 There are millions of people in this country right now that wouldn't be here if Joe Biden wasn't the president.
00:40:20.000 These crimes that are happening, you see the obvious horrific stories of people like Lakin Riley who was killed in Georgia.
00:40:29.000 But sadly, she's not the only one, right?
00:40:31.000 Like, there was a few weeks ago, we have a whole reporting team at Breitbart that's dedicated to covering this.
00:40:37.000 There was a few weeks ago, there was a two-year-old kid killed just outside Washington, D.C. in our nation's capital, right?
00:40:44.000 Every day you turn on the news, you see another one of these stories.
00:40:47.000 Five minutes down, I don't know how I pulled this off, Don, but I live in Florida.
00:40:52.000 But I'm the Washington bureau chief for Breitbart.
00:40:55.000 But like five minutes down the street from my house, a police officer, a decorated sergeant here in St.
00:41:01.000 John's County was killed by an illegal alien and now they just got the charges dropped against the illegal alien Apparently couldn't speak English and couldn't understand the orders the officer was given him before he killed them.
00:41:12.000 It's unbelievable, right?
00:41:14.000 So these stories are everywhere, and these wouldn't have happened if Joe Biden wasn't the president and these people weren't here to commit these crimes.
00:41:22.000 If we actually enforced our immigration laws, these people would be alive today.
00:41:27.000 I mean, that's crazy. They're letting someone go kill the cop.
00:41:31.000 But you've seen this in Europe.
00:41:34.000 They were doing that. Hey, well, it's a cultural difference, because all cultures are created equal, apparently.
00:41:40.000 It's a cultural difference.
00:41:42.000 They rape children. We've got to let them go.
00:41:44.000 They didn't know that you can't do that.
00:41:45.000 They've got to put up signs in public pools to make sure there's no raping going on.
00:41:50.000 And we're doing this, and we're letting them go.
00:41:53.000 Are they trying to destroy our country?
00:41:56.000 I think that's the only real explanation here, right?
00:41:59.000 Because now, and what you're going to see from Biden tonight is that he's going to try to blame everybody else for all the problems.
00:42:06.000 No, it's everyone's fault but his, yeah.
00:42:08.000 He's going to blame Republicans in Congress and your dad for the immigration problem, even though that bill that they came up with, it would have made it ten times worse.
00:42:16.000 It wouldn't have made it any better.
00:42:18.000 But he's going to try that.
00:42:20.000 On inflation, he's going to blame companies.
00:42:23.000 He's going to come up with this term, shrinkflation.
00:42:25.000 I've seen that one around the media.
00:42:26.000 And he's going to try to say he's going to raise taxes on companies and stuff.
00:42:30.000 He's going to blame other people for all the foreign policy failures.
00:42:33.000 The problem is here, Biden doesn't take any responsibility for all of the problems that he's created.
00:42:40.000 And the biggest one, to get back to your original question there, is clearly the border, no doubt.
00:42:45.000 So I guess it was this week was the 12-year anniversary of Andrew Breitbart's death.
00:42:52.000 Can you talk about how he changed the landscape of conservative media forever?
00:42:58.000 Well, I mean, Andrew was a really good friend of mine.
00:43:01.000 I didn't actually work at Breitbart until after he passed away, but we were very close.
00:43:04.000 And frankly, my personal path in life changed because of him.
00:43:11.000 I'd been a reporter at Daily Caller back in the day, And after he passed away, I decided, I made the decision that I was going to come over here and work at Breitbart because of what I learned from him.
00:43:25.000 I think that his approach to doing things, first off, he was a really funny person, right?
00:43:30.000 I think you can appreciate that.
00:43:32.000 Your sense of humor is very strong.
00:43:34.000 I know that. I see your It's like a stand-up act sometimes.
00:43:40.000 Andrew was a lot like that.
00:43:41.000 He had a really fantastic sense of humor.
00:43:44.000 But more importantly, I think that what he brought was a kind of a view of looking at the media, Hollywood, the political class, the establishment, All of these different things that we're zoning in on, all of these different bigs, if you will.
00:44:03.000 The original Breitbart side was kind of broken into big government, big Hollywood, big journalism.
00:44:10.000 He kind of looked at them like, who cares what they're doing and we're gonna go fight them and beat them anyway.
00:44:16.000 He understood that we were in a war.
00:44:19.000 He's famous for hashtag war and that mentality.
00:44:25.000 Because of that, I think he kind of taught us all how to fight back in a way that, you know, we're kind of like, you know, reaching around in the dark.
00:44:35.000 We didn't know how to fight back against.
00:44:36.000 We had all these loser establishment Republicans.
00:44:38.000 Mitt Romney was the Republican nominee in 2012.
00:44:42.000 I mean, that's not that long ago, right?
00:44:44.000 That's a lot of years ago.
00:44:46.000 And John McCain before that, and these establishment Republican guys, they might be nice guys, but they go lose gracefully, right?
00:44:53.000 And then the Democrats were just running train over us.
00:44:57.000 And now we have this fight back mentality that has taken over the conservative movement.
00:45:03.000 He's the guy who started that, really, back in the day.
00:45:07.000 So, I mean, there's no question.
00:45:08.000 I think you guys continue to do great work with that.
00:45:10.000 But I guess the one thing I get asked often is, what happened to, like, Matt Drudge and the Drudge Report?
00:45:15.000 I mean, that used to be a place that people would go to check.
00:45:18.000 You know, serious people went to go check it out.
00:45:19.000 It seems like it's been taken over, you know, by the writers of The Atlantic.
00:45:23.000 It's like left-wing propaganda insanity at this point.
00:45:27.000 It's lost all of its luster.
00:45:29.000 What happened there?
00:45:30.000 What do you think? Is he just checked out?
00:45:32.000 Did someone buy it and sort of reverse the policies?
00:45:36.000 What's going on? I don't think someone bought it.
00:45:39.000 I think it's still him. I don't really know.
00:45:42.000 I've only met him like once or twice over the years, very briefly, and had very limited interaction with him.
00:45:50.000 He would frequently put up Breitbart links.
00:45:52.000 He doesn't really do that that much anymore, so I don't know.
00:45:56.000 It must be something personal.
00:45:58.000 It beats me.
00:45:59.000 I genuinely don't know the answer there.
00:46:02.000 I wish I did. If I did know the answer, I would tell you, but I just don't know.
00:46:07.000 So with Breitbart, I mean, you really disrupted a lot of the media establishment, right?
00:46:11.000 Talk about that trajectory.
00:46:13.000 How do you see that coming now?
00:46:14.000 I mean, honestly, like so much of the mainstream stuff that's out there, you know, even the conservative stuff is literally unwatchable for me these days.
00:46:22.000 You know, things that I would have probably watched two, three years ago, it's just not doing it anymore.
00:46:27.000 What's going on in sort of conservative media that continues to evolve and change?
00:46:32.000 Because it feels pretty palpable to me right now.
00:46:34.000 Yeah, look, there's a lot of other places out there that have kind of gone different directions.
00:46:38.000 You see some places like our friends over at The Daily Wire seem to try to be going down the streaming route.
00:46:44.000 What Breitbart's doing is we're trying to become almost like The New York Times, the publication of record for our audience, right?
00:46:55.000 And so what we want to do is have full spectrum coverage of major events like tonight with State of the Union.
00:47:01.000 I have a team of A dozen or so reporters that are standing by.
00:47:04.000 I've got two guys in the Capitol right now.
00:47:06.000 I've got, you know, a whole team of reporters standing by to write up fact checks and different angles on different things.
00:47:14.000 We do the same thing on like a major election night like the other night on Super Tuesday.
00:47:19.000 But also then just throughout the course of a news week where we're chasing major stories.
00:47:24.000 So we're doing a balance of, you know, making sure that we have Every major element of the news of the day up on the website, but then also a Original stuff, right?
00:47:36.000 So one of the big things that we've done originally in the last couple of weeks has been we've had this series on Fannie Willis, right?
00:47:43.000 And some of the people in her office and some really cool stories from our own Wendell Husebo on that front.
00:47:51.000 But then we also have done these deep dive.
00:47:56.000 So our senior contributor here at Breitbart, Peter Schweitzer, who I know you had on last week, came out with...
00:48:03.000 His book, Blood Money, and we've had a number of different verticals going into the various revelations in there about the Bidens, about China, about TikTok, and so on and so forth.
00:48:15.000 And those things have helped propel his book to the number one on the New York Times bestseller list.
00:48:21.000 But again, what we're trying to do is have day-to-day, in-and-out, nonstop coverage and really compelling content So that everybody across the country that doesn't trust the establishment media, which is frankly the vast majority of Americans, has a place they can go multiple times a day to get their update.
00:48:42.000 If they go to our homepage at Breitbart.com, they can see the major stories of the day, our main lead story, and then the top few on the right, they can just by even reading the headlines get a sense of, okay, this is what the news is.
00:48:58.000 This morning. This is what the news is when I got home from work.
00:49:01.000 And we kind of want to be that place that brings everybody together in that regard.
00:49:06.000 And the way I see it is to the vast majority of Americans, to Trump supporters out there around the country, if it isn't on Breitbart, it didn't happen, right?
00:49:15.000 And so we want to be the place that tells those stories.
00:49:19.000 So, you know, if we're going to compare and contrast, you know, say Breitbart to the rest of the media, they're going to, you know, tonight it's going to be interesting, right?
00:49:25.000 So much of the media is just a mouthpiece for Joe Biden.
00:49:28.000 It's the marketing arm of the Democrat Party.
00:49:32.000 They're going to try to frame the speech as a win no matter what.
00:49:36.000 But behind the scenes, you know, what do you think Biden's speechwriters, what are they going to see as a win?
00:49:44.000 If Joe Biden can get up there and read off the teleprompter without trailing off or falling down off the stage, that's a win.
00:49:54.000 Joe Biden wrote exactly zero words in his speech tonight.
00:49:58.000 All he has to do is walk into the chamber without falling down, get up there to the podium, read off the speech, off the teleprompter, and do it in a decent enough cadence, etc., And then walk back out of the chamber without falling down.
00:50:14.000 If he does those things, they will frame it as a win, right?
00:50:18.000 The people who wrote the speech are these people around him in the White House and throughout the administration, the Democrat Party.
00:50:26.000 I think it's a markedly different type of a thing, you know, compared to your dad's speeches, which were very powerful.
00:50:34.000 And he would go off script a lot.
00:50:35.000 He does. Like, I mean, you know, I see the prepared remarks, right?
00:50:39.000 That's when everyone's like, okay, Don, you got to fix this one.
00:50:42.000 He's off script. I'm like, oh shit, we got it.
00:50:45.000 It's harder to cover your dad's speeches than it is to cover Biden's because all Biden does is just read off the teleprompter.
00:50:51.000 Whereas your dad, you have some very...
00:50:55.000 He had some very unique moments where he goes with it.
00:51:02.000 He just goes with it and sees where it goes.
00:51:05.000 Those are some of the best moments with Trump.
00:51:11.000 They're literally going to frame this as a win for Biden if he just delivers The remarks and the teleprompter.
00:51:18.000 That's it. That's how—that's all they need, right?
00:51:20.000 I mean, they literally didn't charge him with a crime because his own Justice Department and his special counsel said that he's an elderly man with a poor memory, right?
00:51:29.000 So if he can get up there and somewhat show that maybe that isn't fully the case, right?
00:51:34.000 Like, that's what they're going to try to say is a win for.
00:51:37.000 What's the deal with... I'm reading there's two intermissions.
00:51:40.000 Is that so they can give him some sort of stimulants to keep him going?
00:51:45.000 I've never heard of that before.
00:51:47.000 I've never heard of that either.
00:51:49.000 That's news to me. I'm going to have to look into that.
00:51:51.000 I saw it on Twitter.
00:51:52.000 I was like, I don't know if it's real, but I heard there was going to be two intermissions.
00:51:55.000 And I'm like, it's not that long.
00:51:57.000 What do you mean? But I was sort of curious to see what was going on.
00:52:01.000 It wouldn't surprise me that he would need an intermission, but I was surprised that they're actually doing it and saying it.
00:52:05.000 But again, it could totally be false, but I read it on social before I got on here and went live.
00:52:09.000 And I was like, what? Two intermissions?
00:52:11.000 I don't know. Oh, it was a joke?
00:52:14.000 Okay, so it must have been, like, someone must have, like, taken it.
00:52:20.000 Oh, okay, was that Spicer?
00:52:21.000 I was like, man, I've never heard of it, but I thought it was real for a second, so I guess they got me.
00:52:27.000 I even thought that was serious.
00:52:29.000 Shows you just how bad.
00:52:30.000 No, but that's the point.
00:52:31.000 Like, you know, if they sent it from my father, I'd be like, yeah, that's gotta be BS. But, like, with Joe Biden, it's like, Listen, if you're Joe Biden's handlers, there's a solid chance you do need him to stop, to regroup, to start over, to get comfortable, to change a diaper, you know, whatever.
00:52:46.000 So, no, it seems ridiculous.
00:52:48.000 And that's why I was asking. I was like, well, I've never even heard of this.
00:52:50.000 But, like, I'm not at all surprised.
00:52:52.000 It's like you're being punked, like The Onion or, you know, Babylon Bee about Biden.
00:52:58.000 It's like, I don't know. It's probably true.
00:53:01.000 I could totally see it being true, right?
00:53:03.000 So we'll see. We'll see how he does tonight.
00:53:05.000 Look, I think they're going to get there.
00:53:07.000 The media is going to frame it as this big win.
00:53:09.000 But the things that I'm looking for are the actual content of the speech, right?
00:53:15.000 Because that's what the people around Biden are focused on.
00:53:18.000 And they're going to be trying to, again, like I said, there's going to be a heavy focus on blaming everyone else for all the problems that he created.
00:53:26.000 So he's going to do his best to blame other people for inflation and blame other people for the border crisis, rather than take ownership of it and actually try to solve it.
00:53:35.000 But we know he can solve it in 30 seconds.
00:53:37.000 All he has to do is undo the more than 60 executive orders that he did and reinstall, remain in Mexico, and reinstall the deals with the Northern Triangle countries and end, catch, and release, which he can do with a stroke of a pen.
00:53:49.000 He can do it tonight, right?
00:53:50.000 And he doesn't want to do it.
00:53:53.000 That brings back to the question, do they want to destroy the country?
00:53:56.000 Yeah. I mean, they're literally deliberately doing this stuff.
00:54:00.000 It is proactive.
00:54:02.000 They set it in motion.
00:54:04.000 They knew what they were doing when they did it.
00:54:06.000 Where do you think Democrats see the trajectory of Biden heading into the convention this summer?
00:54:11.000 You know, are they sort of tied to him no matter what at this point?
00:54:15.000 Do you think that, you know, that we're gonna switch him out last minute is a reality, is
00:54:20.000 a real thing?
00:54:21.000 Does it sort of depend on the next couple months?
00:54:23.000 Or is this sort of pre-baked?
00:54:24.000 Because I don't think anyone would be surprised that they would do anything to win and will.
00:54:31.000 Where do you think that's going?
00:54:33.000 So first off, Democrats don't follow rules, right?
00:54:36.000 There are no rules for them.
00:54:38.000 So they can do whatever the heck they wanted.
00:54:40.000 That being said, it would be very difficult to see somebody else come in at the convention, like a Michelle Obama come out of nowhere or something.
00:54:49.000 And I saw her spokesperson out there the other day saying that she's not doing that.
00:54:54.000 I kind of take them at their word.
00:54:56.000 It would be a big step for Michelle Obama to come out of nowhere and try to run for president this cycle.
00:55:02.000 But I do think that one possibility, if it keeps getting worse, if the polls keep getting bigger and bigger leads for Trump over Biden, we keep seeing the swing states moving further and further away.
00:55:18.000 And the more important thing to the Democrats is what happens down ticket, right?
00:55:22.000 So where are these Senate candidates, right?
00:55:25.000 You just had on Bernie Marino, who's fantastic in Ohio.
00:55:28.000 So does Sherrod Brown start trailing Bernie Marino by double digits in Ohio?
00:55:34.000 Do we see a similar situation with Tester?
00:55:36.000 And she in Montana, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
00:55:40.000 And if it starts becoming clear that the Democrats are headed not just for a loss at the White House level, but a wipeout down ticket, I could see at the convention some last second chicanery of a switch out, not for somebody like Michelle Obama, but they would bring in Kamala.
00:55:58.000 And knowing that they're gonna lose the White House by doing that, they hope that she can turn out Those uncommitted voters that we're seeing in places like Michigan and Minnesota for the down ticket candidates to protect their losses.
00:56:14.000 Because if things keep getting worse for them, you start getting to, I mean, if you do the math here, Ohio, Montana, West Virginia, Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, I mean, you could be getting to a point where Republicans are getting into the high 50s.
00:56:33.000 In terms of Senate seats after this next election.
00:56:36.000 So the only thing I could see like the break glass in case of emergency thing is a switch out to Kamala to protect the down ticket if it's really, really bad and much worse than it is right now.
00:56:48.000 Yeah, I guess, you know, with respect to the House impeachment inquiry, the chatter seems to be that there's still as many as like 20 House Republicans who are a no on impeachment.
00:56:58.000 What's driving that inside Capitol Hill?
00:57:01.000 Because, I mean, it could not be more clear...
00:57:04.000 That none of this stuff was above board, that none of it was legitimate.
00:57:07.000 Like, there's literally no other plausible solution.
00:57:11.000 But what are your sources in D.C. telling you about that?
00:57:14.000 The evidence is so overwhelming that it's foreign corruption, and yet you have plenty of Republicans that just aren't willing to do it.
00:57:21.000 I mean, it's so obvious, right?
00:57:23.000 I mean, they literally, there's money transfers into the bank accounts of the Biden family members, right?
00:57:29.000 Like, you don't even have to show money to Biden himself, even though I think they have.
00:57:34.000 But the fact is that you don't even have to show that.
00:57:37.000 Paying off a family member is enough here, right?
00:57:41.000 And so, I mean, the evidence is overwhelming against the Biden family for corruption.
00:57:48.000 He should be impeached.
00:57:51.000 I don't understand why.
00:57:53.000 I mean, look, I think that a lot of it is that several of these establishment Republicans I have all sorts of other priorities that are not necessarily like the interests of the voters of their districts, right?
00:58:07.000 They want to see the spending keep going.
00:58:09.000 They want to see more money for Ukraine.
00:58:11.000 They want to do open borders, immigration deals, right?
00:58:15.000 They also are trying to balance tough reelection fights in some cases, right?
00:58:21.000 Some of them are in Biden heavy districts, right?
00:58:23.000 Like some of these establishment Republicans.
00:58:26.000 So, but some of them aren't, right?
00:58:28.000 Like, and you kind of saw that a little bit during the speakership fight last year after they got rid of McCarthy, and then there was the push for Jordan.
00:58:36.000 You saw, like, there were, like, these 25 Republicans we'd never heard of, right?
00:58:41.000 Like, that blocked Jordan multiple times.
00:58:43.000 And those guys, that's kind of like the face of the swamp, if you will, right?
00:58:47.000 They're like appropriations committee guys and so on and so forth.
00:58:51.000 So, I mean, look, the party's changing and in a good way.
00:58:54.000 We're seeing it move in the right direction during the Trump years and even in the lead up to that as far back as 2010, 2012, etc.
00:59:03.000 But it can't happen fast enough, right?
00:59:05.000 So we're getting rid of as many of the bad guys and we're bringing in as many of the good guys as we can, but it takes time.
00:59:12.000 What are the big stories that are out there that the rest of the media are just totally missing right now?
00:59:17.000 Or conveniently not reporting on, right?
00:59:20.000 Because they do that too, right?
00:59:23.000 It's not really news if they just neglect it and don't report on it.
00:59:26.000 But what are the ones they miss? I think the corruption around Fannie Willis and whatnot and just the involvement of the White House in These various corrupt prosecutions, whether it's the Fannie Willis one or the Alvin Bragg one or the Jack Smith stuff, etc. I think that's a big story that they're missing.
00:59:49.000 I also think that the people out there across the country I think are so disgusted with Washington right now That you're not really seeing that, like, whether it's, you know, economic policy, whether it's foreign policy, whether it's, you know, in the Ukraine aid, etc., right?
01:00:13.000 I mean, that's one of the things the media is just so focused on.
01:00:16.000 They're so focused on Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine.
01:00:19.000 And, you know, this latest stuff is Biden's going to supposedly say tonight that he's going to send in the military to build a port in Gaza.
01:00:28.000 Why are they building a port in Gaza instead of a wall on our border?
01:00:33.000 Why can't the military go build a wall on the border?
01:00:36.000 So just this general disgust with the political class in Washington, I think, is another thing that they don't I think it's because they live in their little bubble.
01:00:49.000 I don't know if you noticed this.
01:00:50.000 There was a clip of Jen Psaki I was the press secretary for Biden on a super Tuesday night.
01:00:57.000 She's on MSNBC with all the other wine club ladies there, right?
01:01:00.000 And Joy Reid and Rachel Maddow, right?
01:01:02.000 And she's talking about how the exit polls showed that immigration was the number one issue in the Virginia primaries, right?
01:01:09.000 And this is Republicans and Democrats' polls, right?
01:01:12.000 Immigration is the number one issue.
01:01:13.000 And she's like, I don't see how that's...
01:01:15.000 I think that they ignore the voters' concerns on these things at their own peril.
01:01:25.000 It reminds me a lot of 2016, the forgotten man and woman.
01:01:30.000 And I think that if Trump zones in on those people and gets out to those places, like I'm talking about there at the outset, Like the factories that are not working down in Southwest Virginia.
01:01:40.000 These factories are everywhere in America, by the way.
01:01:43.000 We could do so much more, but they've just made it so hard.
01:01:48.000 It's crazy. That's how he wins.
01:01:50.000 Yeah. So one of the other ones I've seen a lot about and starting to take hold is this whole thing with debanking.
01:01:57.000 There seems to be that major effort by the bureaucracy to use code words to target transactions seemingly only go one way.
01:02:05.000 I read they're canceling people who bought the Bible and who went to Bass Pro Shops because they're probably conservative leaning.
01:02:13.000 Have you guys covered that much and what have you found?
01:02:16.000 A little bit. So we'll zone in on it when we've got a story about it.
01:02:21.000 No, I agree with you. I think it's a thing.
01:02:23.000 You're starting to see...
01:02:24.000 You're seeing it specifically around the J6 folks, right?
01:02:28.000 So they will go after these folks.
01:02:30.000 If somebody was even in the vicinity of Washington, D.C. on that day, they've been targeting their bank accounts and stuff and shutting them down.
01:02:38.000 We've seen a lot of stories about that.
01:02:40.000 It's particularly disgusting.
01:02:42.000 I think it's part of...
01:02:43.000 They're trying to make it They want to make it impossible to be a conservative in America.
01:02:49.000 They want to make it impossible for you to go about your life if you are a Trump supporter, if you are a conservative in this country.
01:02:57.000 The debanking is part of that.
01:03:02.000 There's other elements of it, too.
01:03:05.000 But it's all about trying to shut you down and keep you from speaking out or being part of life.
01:03:12.000 If you speak out as a conservative, You know, they come after you at work, right?
01:03:16.000 Like if you speak out as a conservative somewhere in this country, I mean, I'm fortunate enough to work at a company that believes in free speech at Breitbart.
01:03:24.000 But I mean, if I said some of the things I'm saying in this interview right now, and I worked at even an establishment media outlet or somebody that even something that wasn't in the media at all, I would be fired, right?
01:03:36.000 Like, and so, I mean, that's the thing is that they want to cancel anybody and they want to make it impossible for those of us to have our voices heard.
01:03:44.000 Yeah. What do you see the Breitbart followers?
01:03:48.000 You know, obviously the border is a big one for everyone.
01:03:50.000 What are the other big ones for them, you know, in the grassroots?
01:03:54.000 That's really, you know, that is the base.
01:03:56.000 Hopefully you're getting an appealing to more people as you get out of that.
01:03:59.000 But what are some of the biggest ones for them outside of the border?
01:04:03.000 In terms of major issues, I would say that the foreign policy stuff, right?
01:04:08.000 So stopping the more aid to Ukraine and that stuff is a big thing.
01:04:14.000 I think the Second Amendment is also a major issue.
01:04:16.000 You see that all the time. So guns is a huge issue.
01:04:20.000 The left wants to do gun control.
01:04:22.000 You're probably going to hear Biden push for more gun control tonight.
01:04:24.000 He has in the last couple of State of the Unions.
01:04:27.000 In addition to that, again, Just making sure people's voices are heard.
01:04:32.000 They want to hear their voices heard.
01:04:34.000 And then China. China, standing up to the Chinese Communist Party.
01:04:38.000 People are very afraid of China's control over our supply chains.
01:04:43.000 They're very concerned with that.
01:04:46.000 And they want to see our leaders actually have a plan to stand up to the CCP. So I would say It's all of those things, plus, obviously, the economy.
01:04:57.000 The economy is, you know, obviously front and center out there with immigration.
01:05:01.000 So you had a big story last month about the Swamp's plot to pressure Republicans into signing off on Biden's green energy scam.
01:05:08.000 What do you find there? Because, I mean, that Republicans would fall for this nonsense after what we've seen go on in the world right now is pretty amazing.
01:05:16.000 But what was the story behind that?
01:05:20.000 Yeah, so this is a really interesting thing.
01:05:22.000 So we got a hold of this document.
01:05:23.000 It's like a 60-page document or something.
01:05:26.000 What it is is from a major energy association, right?
01:05:30.000 So these are one of the trade associations that represent a number of the green energy companies.
01:05:34.000 So throughout the document, they're planning for the future of their lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill and whatnot.
01:05:41.000 And they're actually kind of already acting like your dad is going to win the election in November.
01:05:47.000 And so what they're doing is they're going to try to protect the subsidies that the Biden presidency through the horribly named Inflation Reduction Act, is what they call it.
01:06:01.000 So it's like the economic version of what they were doing with the Ukraine funding.
01:06:04.000 Like, we're going to fund it for three years, and if you remove that funding, it's an impeachable offense.
01:06:08.000 And therefore, if Trump wins, or when Trump wins, you're still stuck paying for Ukraine for no reason with no articulated goals.
01:06:16.000 Right, so what they want to do is, this energy association is, they're planning to pressure, and they literally name dozens of Republicans, lawmakers that they intend to go after.
01:06:27.000 And by the way, they're smart, right?
01:06:29.000 I mean, if you want to figure out who the rhinos are, go look at this list.
01:06:33.000 I mean, they know what they're doing on the left.
01:06:35.000 But these are the energy companies that are part of this association that got the tax dollars from the Inflation Reduction Act, the green energy tax dollars, The subsidies from the federal government.
01:06:45.000 They want to make sure their subsidies keep going.
01:06:47.000 So what they're going to try to do is, if your dad wins the election and Republicans take Congress in November, this is the only contingency plan they have.
01:06:58.000 They don't have a plan laid out for if Biden wins.
01:07:01.000 They're assuming that it's already a foregone conclusion.
01:07:04.000 So official Washington is already assuming That it's a foregone conclusion that Biden's going to lose and that Trump is going to be the president again.
01:07:11.000 And they're planning for how they're going to protect the tax dollars that they got during the Biden presidency and to keep them from being repealed in a future Trump presidency with the Republican Congress.
01:07:26.000 Which is why I think it's really important.
01:07:28.000 They literally talk about their meetings with this senator and that senator.
01:07:32.000 They have a whole paragraph about Senator John Cornyn and how they've built the relationship with him from Texas and whatnot, which is really interesting because he's apparently running for leader to try to replace McConnell.
01:07:44.000 I don't know what's going to happen on that front at this point.
01:07:48.000 But they're literally planning for The return of Trump to Washington.
01:07:54.000 And we're seeing this across the media, across official Washington.
01:08:00.000 It's like this foregone conclusion.
01:08:02.000 It's like this inevitability, which Trump didn't have in 2016.
01:08:07.000 And I think it works in his favor in a big time this year.
01:08:12.000 That these folks are expecting that he's going to be the president again.
01:08:16.000 It almost feels like, you know, again, you know they're going to play whatever games possible and stuff like that, but it almost feels like they can't go all in like they did in 2020 without COVID and this because also Joe Biden is so bad, right?
01:08:28.000 You've experienced life under both people now.
01:08:31.000 It's not like you're selling this dream that, you know, Joe Biden's incredibly competent.
01:08:35.000 He's going to get us back to normal.
01:08:37.000 No one believes that.
01:08:39.000 I feel like they're almost limited in how far they can take their cheating, their lies.
01:08:45.000 Because I don't think anyone would actually believe...
01:08:48.000 That Joe Biden could pull off another 2020 where, you know, everything magically happens in the two o'clock hour and he's ahead because he's the most popular guy ever in Atlanta, in Philadelphia, Detroit.
01:08:59.000 And like, I think they're limited because they would actually destroy democracy because everyone would be like, ah, it's over.
01:09:07.000 That doesn't mean anything anymore. Right.
01:09:09.000 And by the way, they're also, and this is the most important thing is that when he gets there, He's going to be ready for this because official Washington is going to resist him at every turn.
01:09:23.000 We just saw the District of Columbia primary where all these quote unquote Republicans, which aren't really Republicans, voted for Nikki Haley.
01:09:33.000 It's the only primary she won other than Vermont.
01:09:36.000 So she won the communist state of Vermont and she won with Bernie Sanders so she can go pal around with him.
01:09:42.000 And District of Columbia.
01:09:44.000 But that's the lobbyists, right?
01:09:46.000 Those are the establishment Republicans that we're talking about here.
01:09:48.000 They're gonna stand in his way.
01:09:50.000 They're gonna do everything they can to keep your dad's legislative agenda from being accomplished if he gets back to the White House.
01:09:58.000 And so he's gonna be ready for that because these people are gonna do everything they can and they're gonna lean on these establishment Republicans, which is why, again, We need to get as many of the good guys, like Bernie and Moreno, and these other ones in all these other races.
01:10:13.000 That's one of the big things we try to do at Breitbart, too, is highlight all these good candidates that are running down ticket for House races, Senate races, governor's races, We've got to get involved in the dog catcher races at this point.
01:10:25.000 School board. All of these things.
01:10:27.000 It's not about the presidency.
01:10:29.000 Hell, there's a serious component of me.
01:10:31.000 I don't want to win the presidency if we don't have the Senate and the House.
01:10:35.000 Because I know I'm going to get brought up on charges again and have to testify before Congress.
01:10:40.000 We'll see. Never-ending impeachments.
01:10:43.000 We've got to win everything across the board.
01:10:46.000 Before we go, Matt... Any little crystal ball on some of the stories you think we'll probably see between now and November?
01:10:54.000 Whether it's the tricks, whether it's the made-up stuff, what kind of manipulation will they be out there, etc.?
01:11:00.000 They're going to keep trying more and more weaponization anywhere they can.
01:11:05.000 So we saw this in the aftermath of the Fannie Willis thing collapsing and Trump winning the nomination formally with Nikki Haley dropping out of the race earlier this week.
01:11:15.000 Where Arizona is now talking about stuff, right?
01:11:19.000 And so they're heating up out there on different things.
01:11:22.000 You're going to see this continue to pop up where they're going to keep weaponizing things against Trump and all of his supporters.
01:11:29.000 In addition to that, you're going to see, and I think you're really going to see this tonight from Biden, and you saw this in the New Yorker story where Biden and several of his senior top aides did this big feature piece with them earlier in the week, and it's worth it.
01:11:44.000 Read, even though it's leftist propaganda, just because you want to see what the enemy is saying and what they're thinking.
01:11:49.000 But they're going to go hard on this democracy is under attack narrative.
01:11:55.000 They're all in on it.
01:11:57.000 They're bought in on it entirely.
01:12:00.000 I don't think it works.
01:12:01.000 I don't think people are buying it.
01:12:03.000 But their belief is that people are eventually going to buy it.
01:12:07.000 So I don't know if they're right on that or not.
01:12:09.000 I don't think so. It's sort of hard to sell that one with a straight face when you're the one literally jailing your political opposition.
01:12:16.000 You're the one that's pushing censorship.
01:12:19.000 You can say it, but it seems like you guys don't understand what it means because you're doing all of the things you're saying are a threat to democracy.
01:12:28.000 Correct. But somehow they have mastered, I guess they have no conscience and no soul, right?
01:12:35.000 Yeah, no, exactly. They actually can legitimately, with a straight face, do it.
01:12:40.000 And they're going to, by the way.
01:12:42.000 They're going to all year. So get ready for that.
01:12:44.000 Those are going to be the major things over the course of this year.
01:12:47.000 Well, Matt, I appreciate it, guys.
01:12:49.000 Check out Matt Boyle. Listen to him on the radio.
01:12:51.000 Obviously, follow Breitbart.
01:12:53.000 I'm sure you all do. Really appreciate having you on, Matt.
01:12:55.000 Look forward to being back on your show sometime soon, and I'm sure we'll be talking a lot in the not-too-distant future, buddy.
01:13:01.000 Thanks for being here. Guys, I gotta address one of the things I see coming up in the live chat over here.
01:13:07.000 People are saying, Don, you look so tired.
01:13:10.000 I am. Okay?
01:13:11.000 I am. I don't like doing the makeup thing.
01:13:13.000 I can't do it. It's just, you know, I can't do it to make it look better.
01:13:17.000 So if I look tired, it's because I am.
01:13:19.000 Went up with Kim yesterday.
01:13:20.000 We went to D.C. Did a fundraiser for my dad there.
01:13:25.000 And, you know... It was pretty swampy for me, I guess.
01:13:28.000 But we put some pretty impressive people in a room.
01:13:30.000 A couple hundred congressmen all came.
01:13:32.000 They were hosting the thing with me.
01:13:34.000 I was sort of the keynote and the head there.
01:13:37.000 You had about 40 senators.
01:13:39.000 It was a pretty impressive list.
01:13:42.000 Again, a little swampy.
01:13:43.000 There were definitely some people showing up to raise money for my father that probably wished that more states went the way of Vermont.
01:13:51.000 I said that, too, because...
01:13:53.000 I don't care. I say it anyway.
01:13:57.000 But then we had sort of a breakout dinner.
01:13:59.000 I actually got to sit with a bunch of senators.
01:14:01.000 Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, sat across from him.
01:14:04.000 First time, he was friendly with a lot of my friends, but I didn't know him all that well.
01:14:07.000 Had a really good talk. Liked the guy a lot, actually.
01:14:09.000 Thought that was great to be able to do.
01:14:12.000 But we stayed at this sort of smaller dinner with just some...
01:14:16.000 Some of the fighters, J.D. Vance was there, a bunch of guys like that, and stayed out pretty late, had to get up really early, fly back here.
01:14:26.000 And so, yes, don't call me Sleepy Don.
01:14:29.000 That's a capital offense in the Trump family, if you're Sleepy Don.
01:14:34.000 We saw what happened with...
01:14:36.000 With Jeb, low energy Jeb.
01:14:37.000 So I'm not low energy. I'm still loud.
01:14:40.000 My eyes are probably drooping a little bit because I got like four hours of sleep.
01:14:45.000 But yeah, so that I will address it.
01:14:48.000 I'll let you know. But it was actually pretty amazing.
01:14:51.000 Maybe I'll post just the host committee, but it's, you know, everyone.
01:14:54.000 Like, literally almost all of the Republicans in Congress at this point.
01:14:58.000 So I think it was actually, according to a couple of people, they thought it was like probably the biggest room of those kind of, you know, DC power players assembled ever that wasn't like the president or, you know, perhaps the nominee from the other side.
01:15:15.000 So, you know...
01:15:16.000 Again, I'm sure a lot of the people didn't want to be there for me, but they're going to show up anyway now, and I think that's an important component of that unity.
01:15:23.000 So yes, I got to go see DC, maybe try to woo some of those Nikki Haley voters over there, and I had a good one.
01:15:30.000 But that's why I look tired if I look tired.
01:15:33.000 So I appreciate you guys.

01:17:11.000 She called last minute, wanted to grab dinner with dad.
01:17:14.000 Doesn't happen all that often.
01:17:15.000 So I'm gonna be quick on locals, but I will go there because I said I would.
01:17:19.000 So you guys be good.
