00:05:23.000 All right, guys.
00:05:24.000 Joining me now, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan.
00:05:29.000 Chairman Jordan, thanks for being here.
00:05:32.000 We really appreciate it.
00:05:33.000 Good to have you back on the show.
00:05:35.000 Yeah, well, good to be with you.
00:05:36.000 Thanks for all the good work you're doing, and always good to sit down and talk with you about what's happening out there.
00:05:43.000 Well, you know, we're all trying.
00:05:45.000 We got to get up there.
00:05:46.000 We're up against a lot.
00:05:47.000 But recently, your impeachment inquiry showed Conclusively, you know, and I think it's something we've all known and everyone's probably gotten it, you know, but that Joe Biden abused his public office for private financial benefit for the Biden family, for the grandchildren, for Biden business associates.
00:06:06.000 You know, what are some of the key details that people need to know and understand?
00:06:11.000 Well, we found two things.
00:06:12.000 First, abuse of power.
00:06:14.000 And this is where they're basically selling access to the brand.
00:06:19.000 The brand, of course, is Joe Biden.
00:06:21.000 Not what you or I say.
00:06:22.000 This is what Devin Archer, Hunter Biden's business partner, said under oath in his deposition.
00:06:27.000 They were selling access to the brand.
00:06:29.000 The brand was Joe Biden.
00:06:32.000 $20 million, I think it's $27 million we point out in the 291 page report that we unveiled yesterday.
00:06:39.000 So there's abuse of power.
00:06:41.000 There's all that that's going on.
00:06:42.000 Joe Biden, and where they sold that exodus was Joe Biden would show up at lunches, he would show up at dinners, he would get on the phone while Hunter Biden and Devin Archer were entertaining.
00:06:51.000 These foreign entities, these foreign interests, that's how they did it.
00:06:56.000 That's how the access and access to the brand was accomplished.
00:07:00.000 And then, of course, there's also the part that our committee worked on mostly, which was the obstruction of justice.
00:07:06.000 The fact that David Weiss, when he came in, would hardly answer any questions.
00:07:11.000 He stuck just to just what happened in the scope of how he was investigating.
00:07:15.000 He wouldn't get any of the details.
00:07:17.000 And then, of course, The Justice Department and the Biden White House working together to keep us from getting the audio tape that Robert Herr has, that they now have, the Justice Department has, of when they interviewed Joe Biden in the whole classified documents case as well.
00:07:33.000 So those are the two main charges.
00:07:35.000 It's abuse of power and it's obstruction of justice.
00:07:38.000 We think we lay out all kinds of concerns in those areas.
00:07:42.000 And now it goes to the full House.
00:07:43.000 And the way our great system works is the House of Representatives will decide if we're going to move forward or not.
00:07:49.000 But we felt it was important to three committees in an impeachment inquiry where we had an official vote.
00:07:54.000 We had a formal vote on this, and the majority of the House said, yes, we should proceed in this manner.
00:07:58.000 We thought it was important to release the report.
00:08:00.000 So listen, I think for anyone who's been watching, obviously, you know, sort of, you have to obviously back it up with details.
00:08:08.000 That didn't stop the Democrats from doing it to my father.
00:08:10.000 It didn't stop them from doing it to me.
00:08:11.000 You know, I mean, I did my 50 hours of congressional testimony because I was apparently an agent of Russia.
00:08:16.000 Like, you know, I didn't make $27 million.
00:08:19.000 We didn't make any money.
00:08:20.000 I think we're the only people that lost money going to the White House as a family.
00:08:24.000 But, you know, people have been hearing about these things, you know.
00:08:27.000 China doesn't give a billion dollar investment to crackhead Hunter Biden.
00:08:33.000 That doesn't happen unless they're wielding influence or they're buying off a politician.
00:08:37.000 So people have known about all of this for a while.
00:08:40.000 What were the hurdles that the other side threw at you to prevent you from being able to do anything?
00:08:47.000 And do you think part of how they got rid of Joe Biden was they're worried about this coming, even though perhaps it's too late to effectuate much in terms of this term?
00:08:56.000 Well, I think, yeah, I think it was all this.
00:08:58.000 It was all this about the Biden family.
00:09:00.000 Then, of course, there was the performance he had on June 27th.
00:09:02.000 I mean, that was the last straw, why they kicked him to the curb.
00:09:07.000 I mean, by the way, President Trump, your dad did such a good job in that debate.
00:09:11.000 I mean, there were moments in that debate where, frankly, I think we all sort of felt sad for our country that this is the guy who's the commander-in-chief, this is the guy running the executive branch, President of the United States, most important official on the planet, and it's Joe Biden.
00:09:26.000 Then there were other times where, frankly, it was just plain funny.
00:09:30.000 I mean, when President Trump said- I don't even know what he's saying!
00:09:34.000 He doesn't know what he's saying.
00:09:36.000 I had no idea.
00:09:38.000 I was actually watching it.
00:09:38.000 You'll appreciate it.
00:09:39.000 Our Chief of Staff and Bernie Marino was in town, who's our great Senate candidate.
00:09:43.000 He was in town in D.C.
00:09:44.000 that night.
00:09:45.000 So we kicked back in our office.
00:09:47.000 Kevin, our Chief of Staff, Bernie and myself, And, and we could not believe it.
00:09:52.000 So, uh, President Trump did such a, your dad did such a good job in that debate.
00:09:56.000 Um, just, just handle it.
00:09:57.000 And I think the same thing is going to happen when we get to the debates coming up.
00:10:00.000 But yeah, I think it was all of this.
00:10:02.000 Uh, and, and again, they accused They accused President Trump and your family of exactly what they did.
00:10:08.000 It wasn't true.
00:10:10.000 They actually impeached the President on Ukraine.
00:10:13.000 He has a phone call with the President Zelensky of Ukraine and nothing, nothing, it was a fine call.
00:10:19.000 Nothing happened there.
00:10:20.000 But then you have the most compelling facts, I think, with then-Vice President Biden, where when his son gets put on the board of Burisma, his son's not qualified to be on the board, his son then gets asked by the head of Burisma, the CEO, can you help us? We're under pressure
00:10:41.000 from the prosecutor in Ukraine.
00:10:43.000 Can you help relieve the pressure? Hunter Biden immediately gets on the phone and calls DC.
00:10:48.000 Now there was conflicting testimony. One testimony said he called his dad. Another one said he called
00:10:53.000 DC. I think he called his dad. Who else would you call in DC? And this is sort of the pattern.
00:10:57.000 He called the big guy. Yeah, let's.
00:10:59.000 He called the big guy. And then the big guy, five days later, goes and leverages our tax money,
00:11:05.000 American tax dollars, to say you don't get the loan guarantee, Ukraine, unless you fire
00:11:10.000 the prosecutor who's applying the pressure to Burisma.
00:11:13.000 Those facts are just 100% accurate.
00:11:16.000 Those facts are there.
00:11:17.000 And yet, so they did that, and yet that's what they accused President Trump was doing, which he didn't do.
00:11:23.000 It's again, this is just how Democrats operate.
00:11:25.000 So you have all those facts that we point out in the report.
00:11:28.000 And then, of course, all the money that that Chairman Comer and his committee, what they dug into the whole.
00:11:34.000 I mean, probably the best one is Baterina, the wealthiest woman in Russia, the wife of the former mayor of Moscow, has a meeting and then shortly after the meeting sends three and a half million dollars to Hunter Biden's company.
00:11:46.000 And at that meeting, oh, by the way, Joe Biden showed up at that meeting.
00:11:50.000 That was access to the big guy, access to the brain.
00:11:52.000 But so, you know, we knew about all those things.
00:11:55.000 We'd seen that.
00:11:56.000 I think I wrote about it in 2020, you know, the Biden, you know, those bribes and, you know, the mayor of Moscow's wife, let's just say, You don't get those kind of millions.
00:12:07.000 You don't become the mayor of Moscow without the subtle nod from Putin.
00:12:10.000 It was clearly a money laundering operation.
00:12:12.000 But, you know, that's years old news.
00:12:15.000 You know, I felt like with us, you know, the accusations were enough to get me and everyone else in our family, you know, on a stand before Congress under oath.
00:12:26.000 And yet they've been able to stall this thing for four years.
00:12:29.000 How do we change this going forward that, you know, that we're fighting the same game?
00:12:32.000 Because again, at this point, Obviously, we want to get to the truth.
00:12:36.000 Obviously, we'd like to see justice.
00:12:37.000 But, like, Joe Biden's... He's a lame duck.
00:12:40.000 He's got, you know, a couple months left.
00:12:43.000 I don't think he's even... I'd actually... I guess my next question would be, who's actually running the country?
00:12:46.000 Because it's clearly not him.
00:12:48.000 But, you know, they were able to play this out as long as they needed to, and he was going to lose anyway, so they just... they flipped him out.
00:12:55.000 Yeah, they flipped him out.
00:12:57.000 Well, I think first of the question, who's running the country?
00:13:00.000 In foreign policy, it's the same crowd that was there with Obama and Secretary of State Clinton.
00:13:05.000 It's Tony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Bill Burrs, Wendy Sherman, that same group of people.
00:13:09.000 I always say the same group who gave us Benghazi are the people running foreign policy in the
00:13:13.000 Biden-Harris administration.
00:13:15.000 Domestic policy, I have no idea.
00:13:17.000 It's just the left.
00:13:18.000 I mean, they're going to spin like crazy.
00:13:20.000 They're going to do all the crazy left-wing things.
00:13:23.000 It was Governor Huckabee Sanders, she had the best line.
00:13:26.000 She said a year and a half ago after the State of the Union, she said the divide in America
00:13:30.000 today is normal versus crazy.
00:13:33.000 And it is true.
00:13:35.000 Not all Democrats are crazy, but the left that now controls their party is completely
00:13:39.000 crazy and we can just go down the list.
00:13:41.000 So, I don't know who's running domestic policy.
00:13:43.000 It's probably the Obama people.
00:13:46.000 That'd be my best guess.
00:13:47.000 It feels like it's Kamala Harris, right?
00:13:48.000 I mean, she's now on the ticket, and you know, now she's going to do something about the border.
00:13:53.000 I'm like, you were where the borders are.
00:13:54.000 Now she's going to do something about inflation.
00:13:56.000 Like, you're literally there.
00:13:58.000 You're the other person In charge.
00:14:01.000 And I'd also argue that right now you could credibly say Kamala Harris could be the most powerful vice president in American history in the sense that she's the number two to an empty suit.
00:14:15.000 A guy that's clearly dementia-riddled, whatever it may be.
00:14:18.000 It's sad, but it's accurate.
00:14:20.000 Joe Biden, no, he's usually fairly decent in meetings between 10 and 4.
00:14:27.000 You know, in a six-hour window?
00:14:29.000 Like, this is America!
00:14:29.000 Like, we're doing... So, you know, the terrorists, the bad guys, like, you know, they're gonna wait till 4.01 to attack us or our allies and, you know, Joe Biden's gonna be incapacitated by that time because there was too much thinking in that six hours?
00:14:42.000 I mean, this is someone that could have done all of these things and she's pretending like she doesn't even...
00:14:48.000 have anything to do with this administration. It's sort of amazing and the media is letting
00:14:51.000 her get away with it. And I was going to say that and you're right the press is letting her get away
00:14:54.000 with it. That'll end though because at some point we're going to have to debate and let's remember
00:14:59.000 they just made the Borders are the administration that allowed 10 million I think on pace to get
00:15:03.000 to 12 million in this administration that the administration that allowed that they just made
00:15:08.000 the Borders are who presided over all that they just made her the nominee.
00:15:12.000 They made the person who cast the deciding vote on the Inflation Reduction Act, which actually caused inflation because it spent a fault load, trillions of dollars, they made that individual their nominee.
00:15:22.000 So yeah, there's no way she can, she can try to hide from it, the press can try to help her.
00:15:26.000 But at some point, President Trump and Vice President Harris are going to be in a debate and that stuff's going to be, and here's something unique we have.
00:15:32.000 We don't typically get this in American politics, but we've had back-to-back administrations.
00:15:37.000 We had the Trump administration and we had the Biden-Harris.
00:15:40.000 And now those two administrations are running for who's going to be the next president.
00:15:43.000 The country can see clearly.
00:15:46.000 I always say this campaign in my mind is so darn simple.
00:15:49.000 We went from safe streets to record crime.
00:15:51.000 We went from a secure border to no border.
00:15:54.000 We went from $2 gas to $4 gas.
00:15:56.000 We went from stable prices to record inflation.
00:15:59.000 And we went from a Commander-in-Chief and President Trump who projected strength, where Russia didn't go into Ukraine, Hamas and Hezbollah didn't attack our best friend Israel.
00:16:07.000 We went from that to Biden-Harris.
00:16:10.000 So that is the, that's the choice.
00:16:12.000 And right now it's all, it's all the, the pep rally and it's, oh, we got rid of Joe Biden.
00:16:17.000 Thank goodness.
00:16:18.000 We got the first black female running.
00:16:20.000 We got, you know, Midwestern Tim and all this stuff.
00:16:23.000 And now they got their convention.
00:16:24.000 But at some point, It gets down to what are the last, the four years we have with President Trump and the four years we have with Biden-Harris, and we can make those points, I think, clearly when J.D.
00:16:35.000 gets a chance to debate Tim Walz and when President Trump debates Vice President Harris.
00:16:40.000 Yeah, they're doing this, you know, Tim Walz is this folksy, Midwestern guy, he's, MAGA is really afraid of his masculinity.
00:16:46.000 I'm like, I'm looking at these pictures, I'm like, you know, I get when he's playing it up on camera, but like you look at some of the, I'm like, I don't know.
00:16:52.000 It doesn't seem all that masculine to me.
00:16:54.000 Like, I don't know that, you know, it's folksy Midwestern values.
00:16:57.000 I've spent a lot of time with you in Ohio.
00:16:59.000 I don't, I don't know too many guys like you that would put tampons in boys' bathrooms as an example of folksy Midwestern values.
00:17:05.000 I don't, I don't think you'd vacation in China.
00:17:08.000 30 times.
00:17:08.000 I don't think you'd have your honeymoon there, and I don't think you'd actually have your wedding anniversary on the date of Tiananmen Square because you really like that the government shut down an uprising.
00:17:19.000 I mean, it doesn't seem like folks see Midwestern values, but again, Kamala Harris now.
00:17:24.000 She's stealing Trump policies.
00:17:26.000 No tax on tips.
00:17:27.000 You mentioned she signed the Inflation Reduction Act, which caused the inflation, but it also brought in, what, 86,000 IRS agents to literally try to go after people and prevent them from being able to get away with not paying taxes on tips.
00:17:41.000 Now it's like, no, no, this is my policy now.
00:17:43.000 And everyone's like...
00:17:45.000 We'll be quiet.
00:17:45.000 It's fine.
00:17:47.000 You know, I've not seen anything like it.
00:17:49.000 And that was following like a three week period where the media was actually objectively honest for the first time about Joe Biden.
00:17:55.000 Now, it was to get rid of him.
00:17:56.000 It was to force him out of the race.
00:17:59.000 And then they went back to doing their, you know, their propaganda.
00:18:01.000 But I guess I'd ask, you know, now that Joe Biden is forced off that stage, it was I mean, it was really a coup.
00:18:09.000 I guess Democrats, maybe they're less willing to cover up for some of the corruption.
00:18:14.000 What do you think your findings mean as far as it relates to impeaching Joe Biden or potential criminal consequences to others in the family?
00:18:24.000 I know they wanted to put me in jail.
00:18:26.000 You were in some of those hearings.
00:18:28.000 They wanted to try me for treason, a crime punishable by death.
00:18:32.000 Uh, is there any accountability in the end for Hunter?
00:18:35.000 Uh, for the family's foreign corrupt dealings and business practices?
00:18:40.000 Only if, only if President Trump wins.
00:18:42.000 I mean, look, you know how this works.
00:18:45.000 We in the legislative branch, we can do the oversight.
00:18:48.000 We can get the facts to the country.
00:18:49.000 By doing that, many times you can change behavior.
00:18:52.000 I mean, sometimes just getting the facts out there.
00:18:54.000 We no longer have a disinformation governance board because we all made a big issue of that, you and the media and talking to those of us on the inside.
00:19:01.000 We no longer have the IRS making unannounced visits to American citizens' homes because we caught them.
00:19:06.000 Knocking on Matt Taibbi's door at the very moment he was testifying in front of our committee.
00:19:10.000 So sometimes just pointing out all the... GARM, this crazy, this crazy group that was attacking the Federalists and the Fox News.
00:19:17.000 Right here on Rumble.
00:19:17.000 Rumble and X. Exactly.
00:19:20.000 We had all those... We do a hearing, we do a report, they fire the guy who's head of the biggest advertising agency in the country, and then the very next week Elon Musk takes Our material that we had to report as part of his lawsuit, and we find out Garm's going to discontinue.
00:19:35.000 So we can do that.
00:19:36.000 But in the end, you have to have a commander in chief.
00:19:39.000 You have to have a president who puts the right people in the Justice Department.
00:19:42.000 And this is what President Trump's going to do.
00:19:44.000 And again, I think it's one of the key reasons why he's got to win in 77 days.
00:19:49.000 Let me just do one other thing.
00:19:50.000 This Tim Walz guy, you are so right.
00:19:52.000 He's the guy who said, snitch on your neighbor during COVID.
00:19:55.000 He's the guy who let Minneapolis burn.
00:19:57.000 And the thing that bugs me most about this guy is he's the guy who started this whole J.D.
00:20:01.000 Vance's weird, ridiculous stuff.
00:20:03.000 And I told a group yesterday, I was speaking, I said, weird, J.D.
00:20:07.000 Vance came from the humblest of families, owned public assistance, United States Marine, Ohio State grad, Yale Law School, successful in business, United States Senator from the seventh largest state, vice presidential candidate on a major political party's ticket, And he's only 40.
00:20:22.000 That is not weird.
00:20:24.000 That is amazing.
00:20:25.000 That is exceptional.
00:20:26.000 That's the American story.
00:20:28.000 It ticks me off when they go after a good guy.
00:20:31.000 I know he's a friend of yours, too, and you know what a good guy he is.
00:20:34.000 That is BS, what they're doing.
00:20:36.000 And again, I don't think that's going to get through.
00:20:38.000 I think the truth is going to get through.
00:20:39.000 The American people see in J.D.
00:20:41.000 Vance the American story.
00:20:44.000 Yeah, when people read Hillbilly LG, when they see the movie, I saw it at the DNC.
00:20:48.000 Best-selling author, sold so many books, they make a movie about it.
00:20:50.000 Give me a break.
00:20:51.000 Yeah, at the DNC, I saw a couple of these really radicals.
00:20:54.000 They're like, he went to Yale.
00:20:56.000 I go, excuse me.
00:20:56.000 Like, he literally escaped Appalachia.
00:20:59.000 Like, he went to the Marine Corps.
00:21:02.000 They're like, he left Ohio in the dust.
00:21:04.000 I go, wait, wait, wait.
00:21:05.000 Like, he went to the Marine Corps.
00:21:07.000 first. Okay, didn't do it. That wasn't like, you know, some of the people we see in government
00:21:11.000 that check off the box, they, you know, they go to Yale and then they go to the Marines
00:21:14.000 because they want to be in government and it's, you know, they check off the veteran
00:21:17.000 box and whatever it may be. Like he did that first out of high school, comes back, goes
00:21:21.000 to Ohio State, then goes to Yale, then comes back to Ohio, starts businesses, starts a
00:21:27.000 family, runs for Senate. Like that's not leaving Ohio in the dust.
00:21:31.000 That's living the American dream.
00:21:33.000 Democrats don't want that.
00:21:34.000 They want people to remain in poverty because you're probably more likely to vote for Democrats because they'll put you on a government program, you know, giving you other people's money.
00:21:42.000 Yeah, I mean, that's what they say, the lies they tell.
00:21:48.000 I mean, that is just so wrong because, again, you and I have had the privilege of getting to know our vice presidential candidate, our senator from our great state, and it just ticks me off when they do.
00:21:59.000 But I think it shows just how, you know, the things I heard last night, if they're convinced, I got home last night, we were out and about our district, and the things I heard, I'm like, these people don't know what they're talking about.
00:22:09.000 Again, it's normal versus crazy.
00:22:12.000 I mean, you think about their policies.
00:22:14.000 It is crazy to defund the police.
00:22:16.000 It is crazy not to have a border.
00:22:17.000 It is crazy to want non-citizens to vote.
00:22:20.000 It is crazy to say men should compete against girls in sports.
00:22:23.000 How about this one?
00:22:25.000 I said this at a speech.
00:22:26.000 It is crazy to let a Chinese spy balloon fly clear across the country and then shoot it down.
00:22:34.000 You and I would have said like, I think we should shoot the police.
00:22:36.000 No, President Trump would have shot it down before it went across the country.
00:22:39.000 But Joe Biden and Kamala Harris say, no, no, no, this is how crazy the left has become.
00:22:44.000 And it's why, again, this election is so darn important.
00:22:48.000 Yeah, I mean, it's typical Democrat projection, right?
00:22:50.000 You sort of talked about it, all the things they accused us of doing, meaning me and my family and my father, Joe Biden and Hunter Biden and Jim Biden and all the other Bidens were actually doing and benefiting from.
00:23:01.000 It's the same when they talk about You know, J.D.
00:23:04.000 Vance is weird.
00:23:05.000 I'm like, I don't know, J.D.
00:23:06.000 Vance seems like a really, like, normal, like, American, incredible American dream story.
00:23:09.000 Like, Tim Walz with the prancing and, you know, back-slapping the wife and, like, you know, tampons in boys' bathrooms, allowing, you know, their major cities to burn to the ground, setting up a hotline to snitch on your neighbors during COVID.
00:23:22.000 Like, that to me is weird, but they do that.
00:23:26.000 You know, they continue to do that.
00:23:28.000 The policies, you know, continue to do that.
00:23:31.000 So the projection is scary.
00:23:33.000 And so is the corruption, because I'd like you to talk about maybe, you know, you've probably seen, you know, that group, Authentic Campaigns, where the daughter of Judge Merchant, one of the guys, you know, trying my father, he's guilty of 34 felonies.
00:23:46.000 I mean, you know, he's more, he's guiltier than Al Capone ever was of anything.
00:23:51.000 Uh, the daughter is working there.
00:23:53.000 She's making money off of lawfare.
00:23:55.000 She's representing the biggest, you know, liars in Congress, Schiff and Harris.
00:24:00.000 Uh, they're, you know, seemingly, you know, handing away front row seats to the trial to their biggest donors.
00:24:07.000 And it's like, this guy doesn't have to recuse himself even if it's New York state law.
00:24:10.000 They're totally, you know, just...
00:24:13.000 They just turn their eyes in the face of lawfare.
00:24:15.000 Again, projection, right?
00:24:17.000 The people who complain about the biggest threats to democracy want to make sure you are not able to vote for the person you want to.
00:24:23.000 The people who call the other side fascists act awfully a lot like fascists.
00:24:28.000 I mean, your committee recently sent a letter to that group's founder.
00:24:32.000 What are the next steps there?
00:24:34.000 Because that seems to be the most flagrant of all of them in a certain way.
00:24:38.000 Yeah, we're on our second letter.
00:24:40.000 There's a sort of this dance you have to do.
00:24:42.000 We have to consult with House Counsel, but the way you have to do this, but I do believe that we're going to be issuing a subpoena real soon if they don't give us the information that we believe they have.
00:24:51.000 Because remember, this is Authentic Campaigns, the name of Judge Mershawn's company, did millions of dollars of business with Democrats, this whole law firm, and they were raising money for these Democrats by specifically citing The court actions against, the indictments against the president, the ridiculous cases... Yeah, and the dollar's making millions, and New York has like a six degrees of separation kind of rule.
00:25:14.000 I mean, that's your first degree of separation.
00:25:16.000 Like, that's a law in New York State.
00:25:18.000 That's not like, hey, there's kind of ethical guidelines we'd like you to generally follow.
00:25:23.000 I mean, this is written in New York State law.
00:25:26.000 Doesn't matter.
00:25:26.000 Not recusing myself.
00:25:28.000 We're going all in.
00:25:29.000 We're gonna keep doing it.
00:25:30.000 They get to have that benefit of that.
00:25:31.000 They're selling essentially access to the fundraisers to watch, you know, this, you know, communist show trial.
00:25:37.000 And yet, nothing.
00:25:39.000 Yeah, and if they don't get the information back to us Friday, which is when the due date is, in three days, then we will follow up with the subpoena and try to get that information.
00:25:50.000 Because we think it's, again, you mentioned this, this is all part of this sustained attack against President Trump.
00:25:56.000 I tell everyone all the time, it started with they spied on his campaign, then it was Mueller, and your whole family had to live through that.
00:26:03.000 Then it was Mueller, 19 lawyers, 30 agents, $40 million they spent harassing him to find zero, absolutely zero collusion, coordination, none whatsoever.
00:26:13.000 Then it was impeachment.
00:26:14.000 Then it was raiding his home.
00:26:16.000 Then they said, oh, let's try.
00:26:18.000 The best way to beat someone is not to let him play.
00:26:21.000 And they took lawfare with his 14th amendment.
00:26:24.000 Craziest thing I've ever heard.
00:26:25.000 And thank goodness the Supreme Court said 9-0.
00:26:28.000 That is ridiculous.
00:26:30.000 Then it was the four crazy indictments.
00:26:32.000 Fonny Willis, or as some people say now, Fonny Wade, right?
00:26:35.000 Fonny Wade in her case, Alvin Bragg in his ridiculous case, Jack Smith, and on and on it goes.
00:26:41.000 But throughout it all, the facts keep coming out.
00:26:43.000 And every single time, it's like, President Trump didn't do anything wrong.
00:26:46.000 You guys are engaged in lawfare.
00:26:48.000 And the worst example, of course, is the Brad case.
00:26:50.000 And as you point out, Judge Vershawn, who definitely, any objective juror, so I've heard talk, any law professor, anyone says, there is no way he should have presided over this case.
00:27:03.000 He should have absolutely recused himself.
00:27:05.000 It's his daughter making the money, tens of millions of dollars.
00:27:08.000 So, but again, throughout it all, the people I think see through it, and President Trump has just gotten stronger, which is a testament to his character.
00:27:17.000 Just the poise and character he's had and displayed over this time, I think, is truly amazing.
00:27:21.000 Frankly, we really saw that, and you know this as well as anyone, we really saw that on July 13th.
00:27:27.000 I mean, what he displayed there, the character poise, the toughness, the leadership, literally under fire, was That's what we need.
00:27:38.000 These days everyone's a badass on the internet, Jim.
00:27:41.000 Encouraged in the face of actual fire, that's when you find out what you're actually made of.
00:27:44.000 I think America saw that.
00:27:45.000 But you said something interesting.
00:27:47.000 You just talked about sort of the dance.
00:27:50.000 The dance you have to do relating to sending letters before you can send a subpoena.
00:27:56.000 What exactly does that mean?
00:27:58.000 I don't feel like the Democrats gave us that benefit.
00:28:00.000 Subpoena.
00:28:02.000 They don't seem to have to follow the rules or the process.
00:28:07.000 They're given a pass.
00:28:08.000 I guess, honestly, one of the things our voters tell me most often is, you know, we don't want any more strongly worded letters.
00:28:14.000 We just want some action.
00:28:16.000 Can we just send some subpoenas out from the beginning?
00:28:19.000 Well, I've sent 101.
00:28:20.000 I've sent more subpoenas than the entire Congress combined, so I'm all for doing that.
00:28:27.000 We just know that the case law and everything else is, if you end up in court, you know, we're in court right now with the Justice Department on two lawyers that they would never let us talk to, this guy named Daley and this other guy named Morgan, that we felt we needed to talk to, so we're in court there.
00:28:44.000 We're in court over the Robert Hur situation, so In order to do well, and we won in court.
00:28:50.000 We won when we got to interview a year ago, Pomerantz, the guy who wrote the book and was working to go after your dad in the Bragg case.
00:28:58.000 And then wound up leaving and that's what prompted Bragg to retake up this crazy case.
00:29:04.000 So we won that case in court.
00:29:05.000 We interviewed Pomerantz and deposed him.
00:29:08.000 You typically have to lay the groundwork in case you wind up in court.
00:29:11.000 So we try to do it, but at some point you've got to do the subpoena, and that's where we're going to be on Friday, it looks like.
00:29:19.000 We'll see if they get us any information back.
00:29:21.000 They did it the first time, so hopefully they will this time, but if not, we'll go with the subpoena.
00:29:25.000 Yeah, I mean, you know, or they'll do their best to come up with the technology to, you know, kick the ball down the road.
00:29:30.000 You got another two weeks.
00:29:30.000 You got to refile.
00:29:31.000 They buy their time.
00:29:32.000 And they're really just trying to run out the clock.
00:29:34.000 And I think that's what people sort of see and are sick of.
00:29:36.000 You know, I understand.
00:29:37.000 It is a dance.
00:29:37.000 It is a game.
00:29:38.000 People are like, what do you mean it's a game?
00:29:39.000 I was like, it's a game.
00:29:40.000 You know, it sucks.
00:29:41.000 There's real stakes.
00:29:42.000 It's, you know, it's a high stakes game.
00:29:43.000 It's an expensive game.
00:29:44.000 It's a, you know, as someone who's been the recipient on the other side of the game, we do not play, you know, by the same rules, you know, in my opinion, unfortunately, but I get it.
00:29:54.000 I guess, you know, I'd ask, you know, Jim, as we get into this election cycle, you know, obviously, you know, the presidency is a big one, but I've said pretty openly, like, I don't know that I want to win the presidency if we don't have a majority in the House and we don't have a majority in the Senate.
00:30:06.000 You know, because it's going to be more of the same.
00:30:08.000 You know, impeachment, the hand will come off the Bible in the swearing-in ceremony.
00:30:11.000 Impeachment number three will be filed by the Democrats because, again, they're just, you know, they're more vicious.
00:30:17.000 They're more able to get away with it.
00:30:18.000 They have, you know, great sounding boards from big tech and the mainstream media.
00:30:22.000 You know, the House Republicans right now are holding a slim majority.
00:30:26.000 How do you build on that majority?
00:30:28.000 What do we have to do between now and November 5th to make sure we get as strong a majority in the House that we can actually get some stuff done?
00:30:35.000 Just go tell the story, you know, where the left wants to take the country, the scary things they want to do.
00:30:40.000 The tax cuts that President Trump put in, we put in back in 2017, are coming due early 2025.
00:30:44.000 the tax cuts that President Trump put in, we put in back in 2017, are coming due early 2025.
00:30:49.000 If we don't win, everyone's taxes are going to go up.
00:30:52.000 And they may even talk about, I wouldn't be surprised if Democrats, if they get that, they'll start talking about taxing unrealized gains.
00:30:59.000 And you talk about totally screwing up our economy.
00:31:02.000 They do that.
00:31:03.000 Now they may just talk about it, which will be bad enough and then go with some, you know, less, less bad tax increases.
00:31:08.000 But they're going to raise taxes, so we just got to go tell the story.
00:31:11.000 I was in New York last weekend.
00:31:13.000 The weekend before, I was in Utah, Montana, Idaho.
00:31:17.000 The week before that, I was in Iowa.
00:31:19.000 I'm going all over to help our colleagues and candidates all over the country raise money and win this election, just like your dad campaigns like crazy.
00:31:28.000 We just have to go hard.
00:31:31.000 If they prevail, I mean, it is right.
00:31:33.000 And you mentioned impeachment, which will definitely happen.
00:31:35.000 But think about this.
00:31:37.000 President Trump wins and we somehow lose the House by a vote or two.
00:31:41.000 I don't think that's going to happen.
00:31:42.000 But if it would, it won't even be.
00:31:45.000 They'll start on January 6.
00:31:46.000 Jamie Raskin has already talked about it.
00:31:48.000 They're gonna try to play some games on January 6th.
00:31:53.000 Raskin is already out there speaking about that.
00:31:55.000 You heard him last night at the convention.
00:31:56.000 We may never let him assume the presidency.
00:31:58.000 I mean, that guy's a lunatic, but doesn't...
00:32:00.000 You've got to be kidding me.
00:32:02.000 What is going on?
00:32:03.000 And then, of course, they'll do what you just said, Don.
00:32:06.000 They'll go right to impeachment.
00:32:09.000 We just know how they're going to operate.
00:32:11.000 So it's critical we win the White House, we keep the House, and then we have good Senate candidates.
00:32:18.000 I was in Montana, saw out there.
00:32:20.000 I was helping Ryan Zinke, but saw he's doing well in Montana.
00:32:24.000 Bernie's doing, Bernie Moreno's doing.
00:32:25.000 Talk about Ohio.
00:32:26.000 I mean, obviously that's a big one.
00:32:28.000 I think Bernie Moreno's become a great friend of mine.
00:32:31.000 Someone I think would be great.
00:32:32.000 But you know, you're up against, you know, Sherrod Brown is sort of a known entity.
00:32:35.000 I think, you know, he votes with Joe Biden 99% of the time.
00:32:38.000 It's, you know, it's almost hard to believe that, you know, an R, you know, R plus 10
00:32:44.000 state like Ohio keeps putting this, you know, radical Democrat in there.
00:32:49.000 But but talk about what you're seeing on the ground in that race.
00:32:51.000 Because again, the Senate is going to be so critical.
00:32:54.000 And based on the way the map works, it's also the last sort of election where you actually have a chance to make some gains for the Republican side before you're basically on pretty solid, pretty rough defense for the next two or three election cycles.
00:33:10.000 Yeah, no, Sherrod Brown, you're right.
00:33:12.000 He votes with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris 99% of the time.
00:33:15.000 But when he's in Ohio, he talks like President Trump 99% of the time.
00:33:19.000 So this is it.
00:33:20.000 You see some of his ads, it's like you would think, well, this guy's a Trump Republican.
00:33:25.000 Yeah, it's a radical leftist.
00:33:27.000 But I think, again, over time, that's going to get through.
00:33:29.000 And what I like about Bernie, too, is he's good on the stump.
00:33:32.000 I campaigned with him back in the primary.
00:33:34.000 We were for him early, like you were.
00:33:37.000 He's good on the stump.
00:33:38.000 He relates to people.
00:33:39.000 He's got that great American story, like J.D.
00:33:41.000 does, where, you know, his Family came from South America and they've made it, they've worked hard and they've been successful in business and he is all in.
00:33:49.000 So I really like the way Bernie's running his campaign and he's got the resources now too.
00:33:54.000 So his, I saw his ads, he had some radio ads yesterday that I heard were good.
00:33:59.000 He's going to be on TV soon.
00:34:01.000 I think he can win.
00:34:01.000 I think there's a reason Sherrod Brown's skipping the convention.
00:34:05.000 Yeah.
00:34:05.000 and campaigning in Ohio.
00:34:07.000 Because he knows how serious this race is.
00:34:09.000 And President Trump won Ohio in 16 by 8 and 1 half and 20 by 8 and 1 half.
00:34:14.000 Latest polling I've seen is you're right.
00:34:15.000 He's around 10 up in our state.
00:34:18.000 He wins it by 8, 9, 10 points.
00:34:20.000 I think Bernie can beat Sharon.
00:34:22.000 And that will really help us because.
00:34:23.000 I campaigned with him over in Pennsylvania.
00:34:25.000 He's a good candidate, too.
00:34:26.000 We win Ohio, we got a few seat cushion in the United States Senate.
00:34:30.000 And by the way, McCormick is good too.
00:34:31.000 I campaigned with him over in Pennsylvania.
00:34:34.000 He's a good candidate too, and he's working hard as well, all in on his campaign.
00:34:39.000 Well, I'm glad to see you out there doing all of those things.
00:34:42.000 I'm sure we'll run into each other on the trail in the not-too-distant future.
00:34:45.000 But, you know, Congressman, really appreciate being here.
00:34:49.000 Guys, check out what Jim's doing across the board.
00:34:51.000 Really look forward to seeing some of the results of the rest of this investigation from House Judiciary.
00:34:56.000 And just really appreciate you being out there as a fighter.
00:34:59.000 Thank you, Jim.
00:35:00.000 Thank you, Don.
00:35:01.000 We appreciate all you're doing and all your family's doing.
00:35:03.000 God bless you and your family.
00:35:04.000 You too, bud.
00:35:04.000 Thanks.
00:35:06.000 And coming up, we have economists Trumper Steve Moore with the latest on just how much more the Harris-Biden economy is costing you.
00:35:16.000 It's a lot, folks.
00:35:17.000 It's a lot.
00:35:18.000 But first, make sure to protect yourself against Harris-Biden disasters with the Birch Gold Group.
00:35:24.000 Guys, you see the market volatility.
00:35:26.000 You see what's happening.
00:35:27.000 We know the Fed is just printing more and more money.
00:35:30.000 That means your costs go up and your quality of life goes way, way down.
00:35:35.000 So, as I always say, I just want you to be prepared.

00:36:01.000 yourself again, text Don Jr, D-O-N-J-R to the number 98 98 98 today. Okay guys, joining me now,
00:36:12.000 the founder of the committee to unleash prosperity, Trump economist Steve Moore.
00:36:19.000 Steve, really good to have you here.
00:36:21.000 Appreciate you talking about some of the details that don't seem to be covered right now by the media in terms of this.
00:36:26.000 You know, I say Harris-Biden because there's really no light between the policies.
00:36:32.000 But talk about that a little bit.
00:36:34.000 I'd like to hear, you know, first off, can you put into perspective how much more the Harris-Biden economy is costing everyday Americans?
00:36:44.000 Again, the media is not going to talk about that.
00:36:46.000 The media won't get into those details.
00:36:48.000 But what are the impacts the average American family is facing in raw dollars?
00:36:54.000 Great to be with you, Don.
00:36:55.000 I'm a huge admirer of yours.
00:36:57.000 And by the way, just apropos of what you were just saying, I don't know if you've seen this new Media Research Center analysis that over the last three weeks, 85% of the media stories about Donald Trump have been negative and 84% of the reports on Kamala Harris have been positive.
00:37:15.000 I'm shocked to hear that, Steve.
00:37:17.000 I'm shocked to hear that.
00:37:18.000 I mean, I really thought they were going to change their tune all of a sudden, magically.
00:37:24.000 So I want to make sure that your viewers and listeners know that at Unleashed Prosperity, we did an analysis Comparing the four years that Donald Trump was president and the three and a half years that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been in the White House.
00:37:43.000 And on 22 of the 24 measurements, everything from incomes to jobs, to small business confidence, to the stock market, to mortgage interest rates, to affordability, everything from gasoline to eggs, Trump's record is far superior To Biden and Kamala Harris.
00:38:05.000 And if people just go to UnleashedProsperity.com, you can see this.
00:38:08.000 I showed this to President Trump a few weeks ago.
00:38:10.000 He was flipping through this chart book.
00:38:12.000 He couldn't believe this data.
00:38:14.000 So any objective measure, Don, shows... If you're going to vote on the economy, you're voting for Donald Trump.
00:38:24.000 Because in every single area, Trump has been superior.
00:38:28.000 Now I'm going to make one other quick point, if I may.
00:38:31.000 I have been looking at Kamala Harris's proposals.
00:38:35.000 I actually think she would be even worse for the economy than Biden has been.
00:38:40.000 How's that?
00:38:45.000 It's almost impossible.
00:38:46.000 It's almost as impossible as the fact that Kamala Harris had a more liberal voting record than Bernie Sanders.
00:38:55.000 Now, you need like a crowbar to get to the left of Bernie Sanders, but somehow she did it.
00:39:01.000 So I'll give you one example.
00:39:04.000 She wants $2 trillion more spending.
00:39:07.000 She wants to end fracking.
00:39:10.000 She wants to have a $1 trillion Green New Deal bill on top of what Biden has done.
00:39:17.000 She wants to get rid of the filibuster.
00:39:21.000 She wants to pack the Supreme Court.
00:39:23.000 She also wants Medicare for All.
00:39:26.000 Do you remember, Don, when Barack Obama used to run around the country and say, Under my plan, if you like your health care, you can keep it.
00:39:33.000 Well, Kamala doesn't even say it.
00:39:34.000 She says, I don't care if you like your health care or not, you're moving into the government-run system.
00:39:39.000 This is a very dangerous anti-business agenda.
00:39:43.000 Oh, one other quick thing, because you got me going here.
00:39:46.000 Did you see she's now talking about grocery store police that could go down the aisles of grocery stores across America and check out what prices they're putting on the bag of Doritos and the price of Oreo cookies.
00:39:59.000 I mean, my God, this is America and she wants the government setting all the prices for every good and service?
00:40:05.000 Yeah, well, I mean, talk about that and the implications of that sort of price fixing.
00:40:09.000 It feels like, you know, I grew up, you know, I spent my summers in what was then communist Czechoslovakia.
00:40:15.000 My mother and my father made sure that I got to experience that to make sure I understood just how blessed we were to live in a capitalist society with the freedoms that we have in America.
00:40:25.000 So I've been down that road enough to speak intelligibly about it, unlike unlike most in government who tout the great benefits of
00:40:34.000 socialism and communism.
00:40:35.000 But talk about that price fixing, because that really seems scary.
00:40:38.000 I mean, that would seemingly destroy any business, and the government's not exactly been known to do things
00:40:45.000 more efficiently or cheaper than anyone else.
00:40:47.000 That's sort of the last thing they're known for.
00:40:49.000 Where does that all end up?
00:40:51.000 Well, you know, we've lived through this.
00:40:55.000 I think I may be a little bit older than you are, because I grew up in the 70s.
00:40:59.000 I remember vividly that, you know, Nixon and Ward and Carter tried to stop inflation through price controls.
00:41:08.000 And, Don, it just made it worse.
00:41:10.000 I remember getting up, you know, at 6 o'clock in the morning growing up in Chicago.
00:41:15.000 We'd load up in the station wagon.
00:41:16.000 We'd have to get in line.
00:41:18.000 There'd be 10 cars in front of us for gasoline because they tried to fix the price of gasoline.
00:41:24.000 And when you do that, you create shortages.
00:41:26.000 And by the way, none of those price controls ever did anything about stopping inflation.
00:41:30.000 The inflation rate kept going up and up and up and up.
00:41:33.000 So here comes Kamala Harris, and she wants to reinvent these crazy ideas that, and incidentally, you know, I'm a free market, you know, I'm a free market, you know, pro-business guy.
00:41:45.000 But even if you had on your show, even liberal economists would admit that price controls never work.
00:41:52.000 Yeah, last week I saw CNN be like, wow, these policies are crazy!
00:41:58.000 Like, if you've gone too commie for CNN, something is wrong.
00:42:03.000 Something is clearly out of whack.
00:42:06.000 But there's another point here, if I may.
00:42:08.000 You know, I don't always agree with Donald Trump, and I've had arguments with him, and I love that.
00:42:13.000 You can argue with the guy, but I love him, and I do everything I can to make sure he's the next president, as of course you are.
00:42:21.000 But the one most important feature of Donald Trump, the reason that I strongly supported him back in 2016 and 2020 and now 2024, If he's a businessman, he knows how to run things.
00:42:32.000 You know, he's been successful.
00:42:33.000 Kamala Harris has never worked a day in her life in business.
00:42:36.000 Joe Biden's never worked a day in their life in business.
00:42:39.000 Neither has Tim Walz.
00:42:41.000 These people, how in the world is it so arrogant for them to tell business how they can run their operations when they've never done it themselves?
00:42:51.000 Yeah, but it, you know, it's easy when you sort of have, you know, the full force and weight of the media doing your bidding for you, right?
00:42:57.000 I remember when we're talking about inflation a couple, I guess it was a couple months ago, you know, Paul Krugman, you know, one of your, I guess, colleagues as an economist, you know, he's a Nobel laureate economist.
00:43:08.000 He goes, no, no, no.
00:43:09.000 No, inflation is actually great.
00:43:12.000 And if you look at this chart, I'm like, how, what is he?
00:43:14.000 I like, listen, I went to Wharton.
00:43:15.000 I, you know, I, you know, I have my degree in economics and all that.
00:43:20.000 And I'm like, what is he talking about?
00:43:22.000 And then I see a little asterisk and it says, if you don't include housing, Food, energy, and transportation.
00:43:32.000 I go, like, I'm no genius, but like, what else is there?
00:43:38.000 For the average American, what else is there?
00:43:40.000 I understand with the Democrats, they'll say, well, you know, sex change operations for minors are much cheaper now under the Democrat rule, but like, for the average American, you know, inflation is great, unless you talk about little pesky things like housing, energy, transportation, and food, and I'm like, But he does it with a straight face.
00:43:59.000 This is, you know, in the New York Times.
00:44:02.000 They run with it as though it's the gospel.
00:44:04.000 And it's like, the asterisk is like, ah, kind of a big deal.
00:44:09.000 We got to talk about that.
00:44:11.000 So, you know, one of my favorite stories, Kamala Harris, and I think most of your listeners and viewers know about this, but, you know, when she was reading from her teleprompter, you know, because she doesn't go off script, right?
00:44:21.000 And she was talking about price gauging.
00:44:26.000 I don't even... No, Kamala is price gouging, not price gauging.
00:44:29.000 Yeah, I was like, I don't know what price gauging is.
00:44:32.000 I've heard of... Could she... But that's the point.
00:44:35.000 It doesn't matter.
00:44:36.000 She can talk about these things.
00:44:38.000 They'll let her get away with it.
00:44:39.000 She can make a glaring mistake or be talking about something that she clearly knows nothing about.
00:44:45.000 Clearly!
00:44:45.000 And everyone's like, wow, that was a brilliant plan.
00:44:47.000 It's like, well, it's not.
00:44:48.000 She doesn't know what she's talking about.
00:44:49.000 She's even screwing it up off the prompter.
00:44:52.000 And we're just going to go with it.
00:44:53.000 Because I'd like you to talk about that, perhaps for a second, Steve.
00:44:58.000 Talk about the long-term impact inflation, endless federal spending has on the middle class.
00:45:06.000 Milton Friedman used to talk about inflation being a tax.
00:45:09.000 In and of itself, right?
00:45:11.000 Because we end up paying for it through the devaluation of our currency, through the erosion of any assets that we have.
00:45:20.000 Talk about that and what it does to the average American.
00:45:24.000 Well, first of all, have you noticed that when she goes out and gives these speeches now, she keeps talking about all these problems she's going to solve.
00:45:33.000 But wait a minute.
00:45:34.000 These are the problems that they create.
00:45:36.000 In other words, I'm going to solve the inflation problem.
00:45:40.000 Well, where have you been for the last three and a half years when prices went up by 25 and 30 percent?
00:45:44.000 And incidentally, I think you probably experienced this, too, because you're so famous.
00:45:48.000 But, you know, when I go to sometimes with my wife to the grocery store or the gas pump, People will come up to me, they'll see me on Fox News or Fox Business, and they'll start yelling at me, and they'll say, Steve Moore, why do you say prices are only up 20%?
00:46:00.000 Well, because that's the official number.
00:46:04.000 They say, but look, the inflation that most middle class people are feeling is more than 20%.
00:46:10.000 I mean, as you just said, when you talk about the necessities that you have to buy, your groceries, you have to fill up your tank at the gas pump, you have to pay your insurance, you have to pay your mortgage, your rent.
00:46:22.000 Don, those are up 25, 30, 35, 40 percent.
00:46:25.000 My God, a mortgage on a 30-year mortgage because of the higher interest rates under Biden?
00:46:31.000 Those are up double.
00:46:32.000 Those are up double.
00:46:34.000 Yeah, well, and I guess that's part of the, you know, the issue is that the things affecting real people, those are the things that, you know, aren't counted.
00:46:45.000 Those numbers are significantly higher.
00:46:48.000 There are things that are, you know, Not up that much, but they don't matter to the average American.
00:46:53.000 There are things that are up a little bit, but you know, the big ones, you know, I see it at the gas pump.
00:46:58.000 And like I said, I, hey, I get who I am.
00:47:00.000 I get where I come from.
00:47:01.000 I get that I'm the son of a billionaire from Manhattan.
00:47:03.000 If I have sticker shock, taking my kids to the grocery store, it's not going to change my habits.
00:47:09.000 I'm not pretending to be like holier than thou.
00:47:12.000 But like, if I'm like, damn, that's expensive.
00:47:14.000 If I'm pissed off when I fill up my truck at the pump, You know, what's the average American making, you know, $50,000, $60,000, $75,000 a year?
00:47:24.000 It's debilitating.
00:47:25.000 I mean, homeownership, as it relates to interest rates, like, I look at the home I live in, like, I couldn't afford to live in the home I live in if I was to buy it today, getting a mortgage at today's prices.
00:47:34.000 It literally changed the dynamic for what I'd be able to do.
00:47:39.000 And so if even my own prosperity, so to speak, is affected by it, You know, I'm pretty blessed.
00:47:46.000 I get that, and I fully acknowledge it.
00:47:48.000 You know, the average American must be getting crushed, and yet, they still think that, to your point earlier, you know, Kamala Harris, she's gonna come through this time.
00:47:55.000 It's like, listen, she's the vice president to probably the most absentee president in the history of America.
00:48:02.000 He spent 40% of his presidency on the beach, on vacation, and, you know, we're told even by his own people that, you know, he's pretty decent between the hours of 10 and 4, but other than that, he's a lot.
00:48:14.000 So this could be the most powerful vice president perhaps in the history of America, and yet She didn't do any of these things.
00:48:20.000 Now she's going to do it.
00:48:21.000 She's going to secure our border.
00:48:22.000 But you're where the borders are.
00:48:23.000 You didn't do any of it.
00:48:24.000 You're going to take care of inflation.
00:48:26.000 Well, why don't you start now?
00:48:27.000 You're literally in power today.
00:48:29.000 Why don't you start now?
00:48:30.000 If you didn't start three and a half years ago, why don't you take that on now?
00:48:35.000 Well, we can't bribe you with your own money, we can't run on promises that we have no intention of keeping, and that's the idea.
00:48:42.000 They're gonna pay off the American voter with their own money, mortgaging their children's future to the hilt, and they're just gonna lie.
00:48:51.000 Like they did about fracking the last time around.
00:48:53.000 Joe Biden's not against fracking.
00:48:54.000 Well, he was against fracking, and so was she in the Democrat primary debates.
00:49:00.000 And then against my father, all of a sudden, I would never do that!
00:49:03.000 You know, because they knew it would hurt him in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, elsewhere.
00:49:07.000 And then on day one, they banned the Keystone Pipeline.
00:49:09.000 So they were against it, but the media was more than happy to carry their water and pretend that the policies they actually believed in were not their policies.
00:49:17.000 Well, you know, let me kind of simplify this.
00:49:20.000 Everything you said is absolutely true.
00:49:22.000 You know, I've been in this game for a long time.
00:49:25.000 I came to Washington.
00:49:26.000 I'm ashamed to say I've been in the swamp for 40 years.
00:49:28.000 So, you know, I've been following, you know, politics and elections.
00:49:32.000 And I would have to say that this ticket, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, is the most anti-business ticket we've seen in our lifetimes.
00:49:44.000 And that's saying a lot.
00:49:45.000 I mean, that's including like people like Michael Dukakis and Walter Mondale and Hillary Clinton.
00:49:50.000 But these people, they hate business.
00:49:53.000 Now, look, it's very simple.
00:49:56.000 If you don't have businesses, you don't have jobs.
00:49:58.000 And if you don't have jobs, you don't have an income.
00:50:01.000 And businesses only work.
00:50:03.000 I mean, I'm going to keep this really simple because by some, Kamala Harris doesn't seem to understand this.
00:50:08.000 Without profits, there's no business.
00:50:11.000 You're only in business if you make a profit.
00:50:13.000 They seem to think profits are evil.
00:50:16.000 No, it's losses that are evil.
00:50:18.000 Well, there's no tax revenue if there's no profits.
00:50:20.000 Exactly!
00:50:21.000 I mean, there's nothing, you know, they can't fund, you know, transgender programs in Pakistan.
00:50:25.000 Pakistan if American businesses don't make a profit to give them and they don't understand
00:50:31.000 that or care.
00:50:32.000 And they'll say, well, the stock market's at a high, but they don't talk about that.
00:50:37.000 That's made up of alphabet.
00:50:39.000 There's seven stocks that have performed well and everything else has actually been lackluster
00:50:43.000 at best.
00:50:44.000 So if you look at your 401k, it's not up the same way as the stock market is.
00:50:50.000 That's the one place they'll say, look, the stock market's a little bit higher than it was under Trump, but it's in like seven stocks.
00:50:55.000 No, no, no, hold on.
00:50:56.000 Time out, time out, time out.
00:50:57.000 It isn't because here's the thing.
00:51:01.000 When you look at the stock market, just like everything else, you have to adjust for inflation.
00:51:06.000 That's what we've done in our report.
00:51:08.000 When you adjust for inflation, because when you buy a stock, you're interested in your
00:51:12.000 after inflation return, not your before inflation return.
00:51:15.000 When you adjust those numbers for inflation, the market was much higher under Donald J.
00:51:20.000 Trump than it's been under Biden.
00:51:21.000 I've actually never even thought of it that way.
00:51:22.000 The only reason the stock market is up is because prices of everything are up because
00:51:26.000 Biden and Kamala Harris have ruined our economy.
00:51:29.000 And why did they do that?
00:51:31.000 This is a really important point.
00:51:33.000 This did not happen by accident.
00:51:36.000 It happened because the first thing that Biden and Kamala Harris did when they came into office is spend $5 trillion.
00:51:42.000 How did they fund that?
00:51:43.000 They printed the money.
00:51:44.000 This goes back to our old hero, Milton Friedman.
00:51:47.000 What is inflation?
00:51:48.000 Too many dollars chasing too few goods.
00:51:51.000 What did they think was going to happen when they spent $5 trillion?
00:51:54.000 Of course, the price of everything is going to go up.
00:51:57.000 Interesting.
00:51:57.000 So, you know, I guess, Steve, what what would be the path to restoring some fiscal sanity?
00:52:04.000 You know, you get so used to spending recklessly.
00:52:06.000 You're spending other people's money, you know, in the American system.
00:52:10.000 You know, you know, so many in Congress are, you know, they'll write checks they can't cash because they got to win an election in two weeks.
00:52:16.000 And who cares what happens after that?
00:52:17.000 We'll deal with it then and we'll do it again the next election cycle in two years.
00:52:21.000 Is it just a matter of, you know, reducing federal spending?
00:52:25.000 What would that look like?
00:52:27.000 Where can we actually cut that there isn't sort of a long-term consequence elsewhere, right?
00:52:35.000 Everything has sort of unintended consequences.
00:52:37.000 So, you know, the cutting can hurt in certain areas, but I don't know that we have a choice.
00:52:41.000 Okay, I'll give you a good clear example.
00:52:44.000 And I think you know this, that one of the first things Donald J. Trump is going to do when he gets back into office is we're going to produce so much energy in this country.
00:52:52.000 We're going to produce our oil, our gas, our coal, our nuclear power, everything we've got.
00:52:56.000 Well, guess what?
00:52:57.000 If you produce more of something, what happens to its price?
00:53:00.000 It goes down, right?
00:53:02.000 I mean, we have $2 gasoline under Trump.
00:53:04.000 We have $4 gallon gasoline under Biden.
00:53:07.000 So we're going to produce more.
00:53:09.000 And when you increase the supply, prices go down.
00:53:11.000 That's number one.
00:53:12.000 Number two, and I've talked to President Trump about this.
00:53:14.000 I think he's fully committed to this.
00:53:17.000 On day one that he is in office, we are going to call for a half a trillion to a trillion dollar rescission or empowerment of government funding.
00:53:27.000 For example, there's a $300 billion, not million, $300 billion green energy slush fund created by Joe Biden that he's passing out to all his left-wing interest group friends.
00:53:38.000 Why spend that?
00:53:40.000 Just cancel that spending.
00:53:41.000 If you do that, that's going to bring inflation down radically.
00:53:46.000 It's almost like some of the COVID dollars.
00:53:47.000 It's like they were given to the states, COVID is over, but they still have like a hundred billion dollars to spend.
00:53:52.000 And I'm like, but wait, you don't need it for that anymore.
00:53:54.000 Like give it back.
00:53:56.000 It's our money now.
00:53:56.000 We're going to spend it on things totally unrelated.
00:53:58.000 And you know, the left has weaponized that so effectively to fund, you know, all their little pet projects, which, you know, essentially a political bribe, but But so there are things you can cut without actually hurting the overall.
00:54:13.000 The left, they want to give Social Security benefits to illegals.
00:54:17.000 You could get on Social Security.
00:54:18.000 You've never paid into the system.
00:54:19.000 You probably never will.
00:54:21.000 It's something that doesn't seem to be on a great track even for the Americans who've been paying into that system.
00:54:26.000 We're going to save it and preserve it.
00:54:28.000 They want to give it away to people who have never paid in.
00:54:31.000 That's a disaster.
00:54:32.000 I mean, the only way to get through some of these problems, in my opinion, is through actual growth.
00:54:38.000 The only way you get growth is by someone who actually understands how to grow a business, and that's not going to be by spending more governmental dollars.
00:54:46.000 Well, you're exactly right about that.
00:54:49.000 And I'll give just one concrete example.
00:54:51.000 You know, Biden and Harris spent $8 billion to build electric vehicle charging stations.
00:54:58.000 You probably know about this.
00:55:00.000 Do you know how many they built?
00:55:02.000 These are the people who are going to rebuild our economy?
00:55:06.000 I have a charging station in my garage that didn't cost a billion dollars.
00:55:13.000 This is the thing.
00:55:14.000 They're not just ideologically wrong.
00:55:16.000 I mean, you and I disagree with them with the way they look at things.
00:55:19.000 But they are incompetent.
00:55:20.000 They're completely incompetent.
00:55:22.000 They couldn't control the border.
00:55:23.000 They can't fix the potholes.
00:55:25.000 They can't build electric charging stations.
00:55:27.000 Now they're going to put, you know, they're going to run the health care system.
00:55:30.000 This is it.
00:55:31.000 This is an incredibly consequential election.
00:55:34.000 And Trump is here and they're way over here.
00:55:36.000 I mean, there are folks.
00:55:38.000 I don't care if you like Donald Trump or not like him.
00:55:40.000 I mean, some of my friends love Trump.
00:55:42.000 Some of them don't.
00:55:43.000 But think about what this is going to do to your paycheck.
00:55:46.000 This is about Yeah.
00:55:51.000 I mean, I guess as it relates to that, there's also another battle brewing, and that's going to be the 2025 tax cuts.
00:56:01.000 When those expire, when the Trump tax cuts expire, what do we need to know about that?
00:56:05.000 And what would be another tax, sort of Trump tax relief plan?
00:56:09.000 What would that look like?
00:56:11.000 So, you know, I'm very proud.
00:56:13.000 One of my proudest achievements in my life is having worked with President Trump, with Larry Kudlow and some others to help put that plan together.
00:56:20.000 And, you know, President Trump knew what he wanted to do, but we put some of the fine print on it.
00:56:25.000 And first of all, we took, when Trump came into office, we had the highest business tax rate in the world.
00:56:34.000 And he understood immediately.
00:56:35.000 He used to call it a Head Start program for every country we're competing with.
00:56:40.000 So we cut that rate from the highest in the world to one of the lowest.
00:56:45.000 We didn't do that because we love corporations.
00:56:48.000 We did it because we wanted to bring jobs back to America and capital back to America.
00:56:52.000 Yeah, and I heard Kamala Harris wants to up that again.
00:56:54.000 She wants to actually up the corporate tax rate.
00:56:56.000 I know!
00:56:56.000 She wants to make it 28 or 35 percent.
00:56:58.000 She wants a higher rate than Russia and China have.
00:57:02.000 Yeah, these companies, and that's why they did it in the first place.
00:57:05.000 It's all these countries, they repatriated their capital, they brought it back to America because it was now affordable, and they weren't penalized.
00:57:11.000 She now wants to up that, which is just going to encourage the offshoring of all of these businesses, their corporate headquarters, and the jobs associated therewith.
00:57:20.000 That's right.
00:57:20.000 Now, number two, for the average middle class family, we reduce their tax burden annually on federal income taxes by an average of $2,100 a year.
00:57:32.000 So when Kamala Harris says, oh, I'm not going to raise taxes on middle class people, she's lying.
00:57:36.000 The average person watching this show will pay $2,000 more taxes.
00:57:40.000 I'm sorry.
00:57:40.000 I pay a lot of taxes right now.
00:57:42.000 And that's before inflation.
00:57:43.000 I don't want to pay more of it.
00:57:46.000 And that's before inflation, which is another tax.
00:57:48.000 That's a good point.
00:57:49.000 And then finally, we simplified, we radically simplified the tax system.
00:57:53.000 You know, we doubled the standard deduction.
00:57:55.000 So now only 9% of taxpayers have to itemize deductions, which is, you know, always a big... So we made it simpler, we made it fairer, and we made it more pro-growth.
00:58:08.000 Why would they want to repeal this?
00:58:10.000 Because they want government to have a bigger role in your life.
00:58:15.000 Well, it's scary stuff.
00:58:17.000 Steve, really appreciate all your efforts and all of that.
00:58:19.000 I'm sure, you know, as more of their policies, they're trying to hide their policies from the American people, but as soon as some of that stuff does come out, love to have you back on to get into the details of it, to really break it down so people understand because it matters.
00:58:30.000 So I really appreciate you being here and we'll continue following all of it.
