Also, John talks about the new White House Chief of Staff, Kevin McCarthy, and why he doesn't think he should be in the running for president. 00:00:00.000 Wow, guys. This one's pretty embarrassing.
00:00:02.000 But it probably actually shouldn't surprise us from mainstream media these days.
00:00:05.000 CBS News, 60 Minutes.
00:00:07.000 You know, one of these places that used to be sort of lauded as a place where you'd get information, but now you just realize it's just a propaganda arm for mainstream media and the Democrat Party.
00:00:18.000 They did a whole piece And the tweet about it is the historic chaos in the House of Representatives this week embarrassed not only a party, but an entire nation.
00:00:29.000 A small minority blocked the House from electing a leader or even swearing in its own members.
00:00:35.000 So you can actually be on either side of that debate. 0.93
00:00:42.000 And whether you were for Getting McCarthy in there or for someone else and still think that the idea that public debate in a democracy or a republic like America somehow embarrassed an entire nation is truly one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
00:01:04.000 I mean, you can be a Democrat and still probably understand that maybe the notion of debate is actually perhaps what we need more of in Congress. 0.99
00:01:17.000 The only thing that seems really embarrassing to me is that CBS is dumb enough to publish this kind of stupid take. 0.99
00:01:23.000 I mean, think about it. The implication being that The only acceptable form of democracy or governance would be one in which lawmakers have pre-baked decisions, they act like drones, Negate their entire constituency, thoughts, ideas, debate, argument, and they just go along with the talking points because that's exactly what CBS does. 0.99
00:01:50.000 That's exactly what the Democrat Party would want.
00:01:53.000 I mean, perhaps that's the difference between the Democrats and the Republicans.
00:01:56.000 The Democrats, if they get a little win, they take it and they just get together and it doesn't really matter.
00:02:01.000 Republicans will sit there about the ideas.
00:02:03.000 I'm actually happy with the results of what happened.
00:02:05.000 I think Kevin will do a great job.
00:02:06.000 I think some of the concessions That the Republicans got also from him to make that happen are also going to put forth an agenda that's better for Republicans and conservatives.
00:02:15.000 That's like not a negative thing.
00:02:18.000 So I guess this is just like a news show doing the bidding of the DNC. These people are jokes.
00:02:26.000 They're not journalists. They're propagandists.
00:02:30.000 This is the same group, I think, right?
00:02:32.000 I'll ask you, I'll ask him a question so that I don't get in trouble if I'm wrong, but they wouldn't confirm the Hunter Biden laptop either, right?
00:02:38.000 I mean, it's embarrassing to have debate.
00:02:41.000 You don't just take the talking points that the Democrat Party gives you and run with them.
00:02:46.000 Terrible. Who would ever want that?
00:02:48.000 We didn't just rubber stamp the person who's third in line to the presidency.
00:02:52.000 I don't know. I like Kevin.
00:02:55.000 I was actually in support of him because I know he's going to do a lot of things.
00:02:57.000 I know what he was working on because I have people that I'm friendly with that I trust that were in on those conversations way before these debates ever happened.
00:03:05.000 So that won't be popular with some people.
00:03:07.000 But I get that.
00:03:09.000 I believe it. But I don't think the concessions are bad.
00:03:11.000 I think they're actually going to be very positive for our cause.
00:03:14.000 And I think he's also a guy that'll do the work and wants that job.
00:03:17.000 And there's a lot of that work and that job that ain't so fun.
00:03:22.000 You're doing fundraising dinners 365 days a year.
00:03:25.000 It's brutal. So I think this stuff's a positive.
00:03:29.000 But remember, if you're getting your talking points from the media, if you're from, you know, 60 Minutes, you just want to rubber stamp whatever the DNC says, and that is the gospel, and that is what the American people want, even if the American people have no idea what the hell they're talking about in that situation.
00:03:45.000 We need more debate, not less.
00:03:48.000 We need probably more of it to be public so we actually see who's defending what and how.
00:03:52.000 I think that's actually a positive, but not if you're a propagandist, not if you're one of the commies in mainstream media, and maybe not if you actually have a clue about what democracy actually means.
