Mastercard has cut off all payments to Russia. Is this a test run or a real test run for what the left will do to their domestic enemies here in the United States? Or is this just another example of the slippery slope that we ve already seen from the left regarding domestic enemies and political enemies here at home? And is this a good or bad move by the left to see how far they can go in order to weaponize their political enemies and turn them against us here in America? Or are they testing the waters to see what they can do to us, too? And if they don t like it, they'll do it again, won't they? And what will the consequences be for us, the consumers, the companies, the banks, and the other Americans affected? 00:00:02.000Guys, I just watched an interesting clip from my friend Dan Bongino talking about MasterCard, apparently cutting off Russia, and obviously Russia is a bad actor.
00:00:13.000But, by the way, that doesn't stop us from sending about $50 million a day to Russia Even as they invade Ukraine for oil, it doesn't stop Vladimir Putin from being like the de facto moderator, arbitrator of the Iran deal that Joe Biden's gonna do.
00:00:32.000It doesn't stop us from going to Maduro, who also negotiated with Vladimir Putin down in Venezuela, talking about oil deals.
00:00:39.000We're trying this cutoff thing, and perhaps admirable, but wait until it gets weaponized against Americans.
00:00:47.000Watch what Dan says, and I'll be back with a little bit more.
00:00:50.000You know, Kara, the saddest part about this whole thing, I'm out to dinner with my wife tonight before I get on the air, and we're having a conversation, and she asked me about MasterCard.
00:00:59.000She said, what do you think, MasterCard cutting off Putin and Russia and PayPal and other payment services?
00:01:04.000And I said, you know what, ordinarily I'd say, wow, that's really terrific, good, it'll put some pressure on them.
00:01:10.000But you know what seriously concerns me?
00:01:12.000That the left will see this as a bat signal to go in again and turn this on their political enemies here at home.
00:01:19.000And by the way, that's not a conspiracy theory.
00:01:22.000They've already done this kind of stuff.
00:01:41.000Justin Trudeau used sort of nonsense powers about peaceful protesters, the truckers, to cut them off, to go after their bank records, to do it.
00:01:50.000I've seen it at places where I was going to give a speech.
00:01:53.000The banks would cut off the people putting on the speech.
00:02:17.000You can't get insurance if you're Pro 2A. You can't do these kind of things.
00:02:22.000So let's be really, really careful with this slippery slope because I have a feeling the left loves this idea and will use it and weaponize it against us here in America.
