00:00:00.000 Behind our nation's defense is a powerful network of Canadian communities, supported by Lockheed Martin Canada.
00:00:06.620 It's a network of over 1,300 employees and over 1,000 local suppliers, from small family businesses to major tech firms.
00:00:14.480 Together, we've delivered a $3.6 billion boost to the Canadian economy over the past five years.
00:00:20.260 That's money that goes to securing our skies, our oceans, and the place we call home.

00:00:40.700 What people would view as the radical right-wing view 0.71
00:00:43.480 is more reasonable than the moderate left view.
00:00:47.380 I am not going to disagree with any other group
00:00:50.100 more consistently than the left,
00:00:51.680 including, by the way, billionaires, elites,
00:00:54.800 Jews, accountants.
00:00:56.620 Name me one person on that platform. 0.91
00:00:58.860 One person who ran for president in the last cycle who had a reasonable approach.
00:01:04.260 Do you think the left is going to say, no, no, you're right. 1.00
00:01:06.600 No cocks in women's sports. 1.00
00:01:08.620 Do you think they're going to say that? 1.00
00:01:09.960 I don't think they'll use that language.
00:01:11.360 Do you think they'll even concede to principle?
00:01:16.740 AOC saying woke 1.0, it was crazy.
00:01:20.220 It implies there is a woke 2.0 coming, just by the logic of it.
00:01:24.060 It's just, it's selling it differently.
00:01:26.020 It's packaging it in a way that doesn't look woke.
00:01:27.840 These people are Marxists. That is who they are.
00:01:33.840 Do you like annoying people just by taking a sip of coffee or the clothes you're wearing?
00:01:39.200 Then head over to our merch store where you'll be able to buy hoodies, t-shirts, caps, prints, stickers, posters,

00:01:54.920 Stephen Crowder, welcome to Trigonometry
00:01:57.940 Thank you for having me, I appreciate it
00:01:59.940 We've been trying to have you on for a long time
00:02:01.560 So glad it's happened
00:02:02.540 Before we get into the conversation we want to have
00:02:04.960 We want to talk about what's happening on the right in the US
00:02:07.500 What's happening on the left
00:02:08.540 Tell us your story
00:02:09.900 Well before that, can we just have a gentleman's agreement
00:02:12.720 That this should be fun
00:02:14.140 Because I know we have to get the clips
00:02:17.000 That's why you make sure fun happens
00:02:19.160 Is you have an agreement
00:02:20.100 No, it's just
00:02:22.800 this is i often don't do like sit down interviews because you know clip culture has ruined everything 0.98
00:02:27.200 so people are looking for a clip so let's just get out of the way like uh jews blacks kkk which 0.67
00:02:31.120 camera should i look to is it that one jews banks blacks uh transing kids you guys got anything else 0.96
00:02:38.560 mexicans right and now i don't agree with any of them i just i dislike all of them let's just say 0.99
00:02:43.440 that so we can actually have a conversation because that's the big thing that was the veneer 1.00
00:02:47.360 of a conversation and you can feel people like and uh it's like the old improv like yes and
00:02:53.600 they're waiting for you to salute like i don't ah there it is so um but yes thank you for having me
00:02:58.960 it's not like i was avoiding you guys you guys picked the worst cities yeah we do come to the
00:03:03.440 states it's like new york la austin it's like you just get like a bum piss map it's still if i were
00:03:10.240 to think that america is this way like that was my perception of like this is a horrible place
00:03:14.640 Well, actually, we've had the chance to go out of the big cities a couple of times.
00:03:18.860 So we were just in rural Michigan.
00:03:20.320 I've been to Colorado, Utah.
00:03:21.620 So I've seen a little bit more of it.
00:03:22.780 Okay.
00:03:23.160 And that's always cool because you kind of go, oh, I thought I understood America, and 0.99
00:03:28.360 actually, I don't know shit. 0.98
00:03:29.740 Where in Michigan? 0.96
00:03:30.240 Did you get up north, like Traverse City area?
00:03:31.920 Well, we were in Hillsdale.
00:03:33.680 Oh, okay.
00:03:34.220 Hillsdale College.
00:03:34.980 Yeah.
00:03:35.320 Yeah, yeah.
00:03:35.580 Yeah.
00:03:36.080 Yeah.
00:03:36.220 We drove past the data center that was being built.
00:03:38.460 Oh, that's always fun.
00:03:39.380 And the guy was like, I don't know how many jobs they're going to create, but there's
00:03:42.540 going to be a lot of security jobs.
00:03:44.000 Yeah, exactly.
00:03:44.640 well there'll be a lot of jobs for a short amount of time and then it'll be you know
00:03:48.080 self-managing so that's always good yeah well it's in the spirit of keeping things fun yeah
00:03:52.080 everyone's gonna lose their job yeah let's talk about data centers anyway tell us your story how
00:03:55.920 did you get here um well the driver on the way here was brazilian and do you mean i meant like
00:04:02.320 my life story and my arms are tired uh yeah no i was uh so born in detroit um which should be
00:04:08.960 annexed and then raised in montreal canada so my mom's french canadian my dad's american
00:04:14.160 And I was raised there from three till I left for I was just doing stand up about 17 or 18, I think about 18.
00:04:21.300 And yeah, raised in a lap of socialism. You'll get people who are mad about it.
00:04:24.900 It is effectively socialism in Quebec. And it's very different from the rest of Canada.
00:04:29.080 And yeah, my whole all my formative years, that's really what's different.
00:04:32.500 I would say between my my background and my approach is so like I appeared on Fox News.
00:04:38.800 I was 21 years old and I never wanted they would say youngest contributor.
00:04:43.100 I'm like, let's not say that because sooner or later that, you know, I'm not going to be that.
00:04:46.860 And I didn't really like to operate off of gimmickry.
00:04:49.580 But they didn't know what they wanted to do with me.
00:04:51.280 They just were like, put me on a debate panel with Alan Combs or Alicia Menendez.
00:04:54.660 Her dad was a senator, you know, stocking gold bars in his ceiling.
00:04:57.720 And now he's in an orange jumpsuit.
00:04:59.880 And I did OK with the debate, but it wasn't my thing.
00:05:03.040 And when I showed up, I didn't know who Sean Hannity was.
00:05:05.160 I don't know any, because I grew up in Canada where we didn't really have AM radio.
00:05:08.200 Occasionally we could pirate something like we'd get Rush Limbaugh from Plattsburgh, New York.
00:05:13.100 And so the people I grew up watching, David Letterman,
00:05:16.500 I can tell you the day I wanted to do stand-up,
00:05:19.340 I was at the Just for Last festival.
00:05:20.900 I watched Norm Macdonald in 1994, I believe, do a bit.
00:05:25.320 And I used to be, since you've done stand-up,
00:05:27.540 I'm sure you have festivals, like,
00:05:28.580 when they broadcast that they have seat fillers,
00:05:30.680 which is people, they might not show up,
00:05:32.640 like, they might have corporate seats.
00:05:34.240 So for the cameras, they don't want it to be empty.
00:05:36.060 They go, you go out to B7, B4.
00:05:38.040 So I got to sit at the world's biggest comedy festival
00:05:40.420 and watch the greatest comedians really on the planet.
00:05:44.000 So it was five to ten comics every night
00:05:46.800 hosted by a big name.
00:05:48.060 Like, one night would be Jerry Seinfeld.
00:05:50.000 One of my favorites was Dame Edna.
00:05:51.440 Then it was Michael Richards. 1.00
00:05:52.580 He didn't yell about hanging N-words in a tree
00:05:54.360 when I was there.
00:05:56.200 And I watched Norm Macdonald,
00:05:57.900 and his joke was so different,
00:05:59.940 and the pacing was so different
00:06:01.340 that it just left a mark.
00:06:03.580 I said, okay, I guess I want to do that.
00:06:06.440 And I was never really aware of the fact
00:06:09.860 that I was super conservative until my drama teacher accused me of being a right-wing zealot
00:06:14.420 when I was 12. I asked my dad what that meant, and he said, who told you that? I was like,
00:06:20.720 my drama teacher's like, this bitch, and he explained it to me, and I went back and told 0.99
00:06:23.840 him, so that's what I am, right-wing. I was raised in a Christian household, but, you know, 0.99
00:06:27.920 the conversations just took place around the dinner table, and then I, you know, would be
00:06:32.660 canceled from, like, college gigs just because I would have bits that might be what people
00:06:37.820 consider politically incorrect or today anti-woke you know jokes about islam jokes about and it was
00:06:43.340 clean too um it was not like it was blue jokes about feminism whatever it is i'm talking about
00:06:48.540 like when i'm 16 17 18. and uh it was a pretty rude awakening and then i came full circle i started
00:06:54.220 acting first the first thing i ever did was the show arthur on pbs a little aardvark you know that
00:06:58.700 show yeah i know yeah he has a pet dog and a sister and i was the brain the bear um it was
00:07:04.540 It was very out of character.
00:07:05.280 That's why it's acting.
00:07:06.100 It's like, Batman can't play Batman.
00:07:07.920 He has to play auditions for Superman.
00:07:09.480 He's like, otherwise it's not acting.
00:07:11.240 So, yeah, I then full circle to stand up.
00:07:14.940 And boy, I was dropped by my manager, dropped by an agent early on.
00:07:19.000 Because the Jon Stewart show, Daily Show, this was a real moment for me.
00:07:22.760 They reached out to my manager.
00:07:24.700 It's like, hey, do you have anyone like this guy?
00:07:27.160 Like Steven Crowder, like, you know, kind of young, you know, and edgy.
00:07:30.080 But we don't do conservatives.
00:07:31.200 and then i heard him go out publicly and say we just chase the funny and i was like well no you
00:07:35.440 don't so uh yeah i just i kind of threw up my flag and and the allies found me and it took me
00:07:41.480 into this milieu but this is not what i ever intended to do um and here we are here i am
00:07:46.660 talking with uh an ex-russian expat russian i guess and uh and you you say venezuelan but let's
00:07:52.860 be honest i mean i know you are but uh are there that many white people in venezuela is it like
00:07:58.040 listen man my dad's irish king came along and bleached everything so you know it's it's like
00:08:03.460 those areas of brazil where you're like what's 75 percent italian oh the mussolini people
00:08:07.960 whereas i'm officially english now those are the rules are you not as far as i'm concerned well
00:08:12.620 that's tough though because like you say russian people look at you like you could be in one of
00:08:15.960 those you know sar uh castles or you could be yelling allahu akbar on a plane and that's right
00:08:20.440 people would buy it more likely the latter i think yeah yeah you're generically ethnic like 0.97
00:08:24.520 also temperamentally i'm more like that are you yeah okay blowing shit up plus if he hasn't eaten 0.94
00:08:29.840 that's when he gets a bit you know yeah he gets a bit passionate all right uh so let's talk about 0.83
00:08:36.100 what's happening in america uh one of the things that is interesting to us is just being outside
00:08:41.120 observers looking in i remember being here in austin two years ago gross i can't can't i cannot
00:08:48.160 disagree with that um but it was an exciting time for a lot of people especially people on the right
00:08:53.140 because it was quite clear trump was about to win and not clear what the scale of the win would be
00:08:58.660 and we were flying to la the day of the election so we didn't know and everybody in austin was like
00:09:04.940 oh you're going to la it's going to be riots it's going to be oh you're flying right into the heat
00:09:09.000 of it and uh we got there trump won and he won literally everything the republicans won the house
00:09:14.960 the senate the popular vote uh the electoral college the presidency obviously and there were
00:09:20.620 all right because it's sort of just it was so overwhelming and i remember we sat down with rob
00:09:25.180 schneider and he was so happy yeah and there was this this time of like wokeness is over
00:09:31.500 ukraine is going to get finished no more foreign wars you know the right's going to be united we're
00:09:37.100 going to deal with this we're going to deal with that and it's been less than two years yeah what
00:09:43.420 happened boy that's a lot but enough about politics in general let's go back to me
00:09:48.720 No, I remember that, that election night.
00:09:50.560 And I will tell you the reason that it was so important to me.
00:09:54.220 So we covered the election in 2020.
00:09:56.700 And we covered it in 2016.
00:09:58.660 Then it was the biggest election stream in 2020.
00:10:01.460 And I don't know if you ever have those moments where you go,
00:10:04.720 there's nothing I could do about it.
00:10:06.420 And that was wrong.
00:10:07.520 And it was 2020 when they called Arizona with, you know, like 0.4% of the vote.
00:10:11.540 This is hyperbole, by the way, but it was just far too little.
00:10:14.080 And I remember going, wow, that can't be right.
00:10:17.740 as far as calling it i wasn't contesting the result right away but going and there's nothing
00:10:22.660 i can do about it so that's why we made sure going into the next election because before that it was
00:10:26.940 sort of like you're a podcast and you're a companion you know podcast to like joe rogan
00:10:31.400 would do fight companions because it's a pay-per-view we paid for all the same news wires
00:10:35.040 that you know reuters ap they have and then we also brought on some data analysts so we were
00:10:38.860 actually able to have more granularity we were the first place on earth to call georgia and
00:10:43.040 pennsylvania and i believe we were within like a minute of the election and um that's because i
00:10:48.620 want i never wanted to sit there and feel so powerless where i felt like i was still uh kind
00:10:53.940 of at the mercy of legacy media and we already knew that they weren't honest um and of course
00:10:58.220 i'd gone through you know the demonetization which we can talk about the box apocalypse all of this
00:11:02.180 so like cancel before cancel culture was coined i was canceled now being demonetized for saying
00:11:07.860 nothing worse than Lispy Sprite versus, you know, the beat cops showing up at your door
00:11:12.000 in the UK, I mean, I'll take the pay cut. But it's still a symptom of the same problem.
00:11:16.880 So that election happens. And I will say, look, nobody's perfect. And there have been some
00:11:23.640 disappointments from this administration. Yep, got it. But he has done more than any president
00:11:29.600 ever, not just in our lifetime, for example, on immigration. That was the primary issue for people.
00:11:34.360 he has done more socially and culturally as far as when people talk about cancel culture i mean
00:11:40.340 we had videos that were literally banned from youtube there are only two genders change things
00:11:44.940 like that so um and it's really tough for me to look at a guy where he he would be in jail he
00:11:51.820 would have been lulid and go like ah he did this wrong i'm disappointed with this let alone i mean
00:11:56.880 i don't want to spend a whole bunch of time on the iran war because it'll just get everyone mad
00:11:59.500 But he said no new wars. Sure. But we actually seldom have a record. I can't think of any, a track record as long as Donald Trump's on Iran because he was a public figure before he was president. And you can go back to the 80s with him saying, I'll nuke them. They're like, well, he's like, we got to do away with the red. I'm just saying they're the, they're the shitties we have to deal with. And then asking him again in 87 and in 92 and then tweeting about it before it was X while Barack Obama was president.
00:12:28.320 So he's been very, very clear his stance on that.
00:12:31.240 Now, I think that it's been carried out pretty badly as far as communication.
00:12:35.520 I said, give it three months.
00:12:36.420 Well, the three months are up.
00:12:37.280 Not a big fan of how it's been conducted.
00:12:39.100 But I also understand the reasoning behind it.
00:12:41.280 I don't think that it's a closed-handed issue.
00:12:43.280 Certainly not this idea that Iran is no threat. 0.97
00:12:45.640 There's a reason that everyone there doesn't want them to proliferate nuclearly. 0.99
00:12:50.980 Nuclearly, can you say nuclearly?
00:12:52.280 We just did a bunch of George Bush impressions, and he's sitting there, nuclear.
00:12:55.500 so it's hard for me to go yeah let me throw the baby out with the bath water because of something
00:13:00.880 that he's been clear about people may not agree with him on it but it's not betrayal oh no i i
00:13:05.760 wasn't i mean getting you to slam trump is not really what this is about what i was actually
00:13:10.320 much more interested but there are people doing it on that going well he promised no new wars it's
00:13:14.900 like well you could also argue he's trying to put an end to a war because he's saying people will go 1.00
00:13:18.460 iran hasn't killed a single american you dumb piece of shit of course they have doesn't justify 1.00
00:13:22.940 There are plenty of countries that, by the way, kill Americans. 1.00
00:13:25.420 It happens all the time.
00:13:26.100 When you look at American bases, you look at, obviously, things that happen covertly.
00:13:29.400 But this idea that he said he was never going to interfere with Iran, that's not true.
00:13:36.120 That they haven't killed any Americans, that's not true.
00:13:39.740 So I think the through line that's really important, and a lot of people have lost the
00:13:43.140 plot, is I'm right-wing, just to be clear.
00:13:47.220 I would actually be further...
00:13:48.500 Surprise!
00:13:48.940 No, but I would be further right-wing than even people like Tucker, Nick Fuentes.
00:13:52.120 If you were to put me on a scale, you would say I'm further right-wing.
00:13:55.540 And I don't shy back from that.
00:13:58.220 Who's a right-wing than Nick Fuentes?
00:13:59.980 Well, I won't vote Democrat.
00:14:01.840 So that's one qualifier. 0.99
00:14:04.240 Yeah, and he's not gay. 0.85
00:14:06.880 How do you know? 1.00
00:14:09.140 I just made a gay joke. 1.00
00:14:10.680 That's liable. 1.00
00:14:12.240 He was on the show, and by the way, had two really good debates.
00:14:15.800 But I'm very, very far right-wing.
00:14:17.480 Okay.
00:14:18.380 And I'm a Christian conservative.
00:14:19.820 I'm a nationalist.
00:14:20.220 Okay, fine.
00:14:20.860 All of that.
00:14:22.120 But the basis can't be feelings.
00:14:24.040 It can't be political correctness.
00:14:25.500 It can't be a wish list.
00:14:28.720 It has to be truth.
00:14:30.700 And so sometimes people will say that I'm a demagogue or that, well, you're being divisive.
00:14:34.020 It's not left versus right, man.
00:14:35.420 This is actually what I believe.
00:14:36.560 The right and certainly the Republican Party, they're wrong about some things.
00:14:40.480 Quite a few things.
00:14:41.440 Certainly they're prescriptions.
00:14:42.480 The left, as it exists today, in my opinion, is wrong prescriptively about everything.
00:14:49.600 About everything.
00:14:50.840 There is no prescription from the left that I can hear where there's any validity.
00:14:55.340 And people go, what about the war on drugs? 0.99
00:14:57.040 I go, just f*** off. 1.00
00:14:58.140 You want to, what, a bunch of black tar hair? 1.00
00:15:00.100 Fine. 0.86
00:15:00.560 But even then, it's not a left-right issue.
00:15:01.960 Aside from that, what?
00:15:03.540 Education.
00:15:04.060 Two to three trillion dollars, public education. 0.99
00:15:06.440 The truth is it sucks. 0.97
00:15:08.980 Border policy, immigration, 10 to 20 million illegals. 0.98
00:15:11.720 I'm just giving you a general broad strokes number under Biden. 0.99
00:15:15.580 Well, it sucks. 0.93
00:15:16.240 They cost $150 to $450 billion a year to the taxpayer. 0.99
00:15:20.420 that's the truth. It sucks. Um, okay. Abortion. Well, the truth is scientifically, biologically, 1.00
00:15:24.260 that's a life. Okay. That's the truth. We can develop our prescription off of that free speech.
00:15:28.800 The left doesn't believe in it. They'll say they do. They don't. And they say, Oh, I didn't leave
00:15:32.580 the left. The left, they left me. It's such bullshit. It's such a cop out. They've always
00:15:35.940 been anti-free speech. What else can we look at? Um, changing your gender. You can't change your
00:15:40.200 gender. That one isn't true. It is. No, it's not. It absolutely is. So the comedians that I used to 1.00
00:15:44.380 really enjoy people like George Carlin and Bill Hicks, they were the ones who were being arrested
00:15:48.360 and criticized by the conservative side
00:15:51.000 of the religious conservatives.
00:15:52.900 I'm not super interested in having this debate particularly,
00:15:55.340 but it's just that bit isn't true.
00:15:57.000 Bill Hicks aimed it at both sides, though, by the way.
00:15:59.900 He wasn't just a leftist comedian.
00:16:01.780 Bill Hicks' last monologue on Letterman
00:16:03.420 was not released or published
00:16:05.160 because of backlash from Christian conservatives. 1.00
00:16:08.080 Because he had gay jokes 0.90
00:16:09.780 that sort of sounded like he approved of it. 0.66
00:16:12.140 Yeah, but then you also had Sam Kinison,
00:16:13.600 who, by the way, like, people embraced him,
00:16:15.020 and he yelled that there were no straight people with AIDS.
00:16:17.060 There was a time when the left believed in free speech, and then they stopped, is my argument.
00:16:23.360 Politically, no. As far as individual comedians, sure. But the censorship as a movement silencing
00:16:29.500 voices. Now, here's the thing, and I can give you some personal examples. You can go into a comedy
00:16:34.940 club. This has always been the case. When I was coming up, there was no Joe Rogan. There was no
00:16:38.520 sort of alternative. I was seen as a gimmick. They would say conservative comedian. You could go up
00:16:43.560 and talk about, you know, 0.98
00:16:45.060 being spit-roasted at a truck stop, an orgy. 0.84
00:16:47.520 But if you went up and made a joke 1.00
00:16:49.340 about feminists or about Muhammad, 1.00
00:16:51.280 you could hear the sphincter's pucker. 1.00
00:16:53.740 So it's not about vulgar...
00:16:55.160 They're fine with vulgarity.
00:16:56.240 Oh, absolutely.
00:16:56.460 But they're not...
00:16:57.540 But there are certain topics that are off-limb.
00:16:59.240 When you were talking earlier about blue comedy, 0.99
00:17:01.140 I was like, they don't give a shit about that. 0.99
00:17:02.480 No. 0.99
00:17:02.640 They don't care how offensive it is.
00:17:03.820 It's more about people's political views.
00:17:05.780 You've moved on to the left, which is cool.
00:17:07.300 Well, no, no, I want to go...
00:17:08.280 But I'm just saying, this is why I am right-wing.
00:17:10.240 The other thing, you can't change your bio...
00:17:11.420 So the truth needs to be the through line.
00:17:14.000 And then if you look at the right, you go, okay, so why is it fractured?
00:17:18.100 Is it based on something truthful?
00:17:21.300 That's not what I see.
00:17:23.000 It's not.
00:17:23.700 When I see people go, and Donald Trump hasn't done anything on immigration.
00:17:26.740 No, that's not true.
00:17:27.880 And by the way, he hasn't, and we actually warned against this early on where we said,
00:17:31.540 hey, there are people out there trying to tell you that Obama actually deported more people.
00:17:35.580 That's not true, okay, because turnaways were counted differently.
00:17:38.380 and don't feed into this because they're going to try and use this talking point against you.
00:17:42.300 We warned about it.
00:17:43.080 And then sure enough, these people on the whatever Marxist right go,
00:17:46.200 yeah, actually Obama deported more.
00:17:47.520 That's not true.
00:17:48.620 There have been more deportations in any recent administration. 0.81
00:17:50.880 Not only that, legal immigration, H-1Bs.
00:17:53.820 I mean, no one has pulled more levers than this guy.
00:17:56.180 And by the way, he's been blocked by the courts. 1.00
00:17:58.300 And if you don't have borders, if you simply welcome a giant wave of third world immigration 0.91
00:18:05.180 and you grant them citizenship, which is what the left wants to do, 0.87
00:18:08.320 they want to do away with the Electoral College, guess what?
00:18:10.160 You no longer have a country.
00:18:11.580 So if you don't fix that issue, then no other issues matter.
00:18:15.400 Here's something slightly odd about how most of us think.
00:18:18.480 We'll insure the car, the house, the phone, even the holiday we booked six months ago.
00:18:22.600 But the thing all of that actually depends on, which is you being around to pay for it,
00:18:26.980 most people never get around to covering.
00:18:28.920 If people depend on you, that's worth thinking about.
00:18:31.560 It is not a fun question, but ignoring it does not make it go away.
00:18:35.180 This is why I think today's sponsor, Ethos, is worth paying attention to.

00:19:24.220 so when i asked you the original question i wasn't saying why did trump mess up so badly
00:19:28.940 because it's just an interesting conversation to me.
00:19:31.060 I'm interested in looking at the future.
00:19:32.520 So I was looking at Calci odds
00:19:35.360 for the next Republican candidate, J.D. Vance.
00:19:38.500 He was at like 50-something percent at one point.
00:19:41.580 He's now at 38, but he's still way ahead of Rubio.
00:19:44.280 And each of the potential candidates,
00:19:46.380 as I see it as an outside observer,
00:19:47.980 represents a kind of a mixture of world views.
00:19:50.620 And the right is now way more divided.
00:19:53.840 There's people who are major figures
00:19:56.580 on the American right
00:19:57.880 attacking President Trump's administration.
00:20:00.000 Tucker's a very good example.
00:20:01.660 And others are supporting
00:20:03.240 this big war over Israel.
00:20:04.780 Like, what's going on?
00:20:05.640 That was kind of the angle of my question.
00:20:07.940 Well, I mean,
00:20:08.500 the only consistent through line
00:20:10.180 that you mentioned, Tucker.
00:20:11.360 Which Tucker?
00:20:13.760 Talking about CNN
00:20:14.680 exclusively only wearing a bow tie
00:20:17.080 every time he's seen in public, Tucker?
00:20:18.560 Or the one who's dressing
00:20:19.640 the way that he thinks
00:20:20.460 a fly fisherman should dress like?
00:20:22.800 Right?
00:20:23.120 I mean, are you talking about
00:20:23.860 libertarian legalized black tar heroin?
00:20:25.900 actually tucker and war on drugs but support the war in iraq or i was wrong about that the one who
00:20:31.280 all but kind of endorsed el-sayed but not really which by the way to say that el-sayed is no worse
00:20:36.060 than um than rogers is to say there's no bridge too far for today's left so i don't really know
00:20:42.360 that that's coming from conservatives and here's the other thing i didn't see these same people
00:20:45.740 out there fighting as hard in the mechanism the process that we had to ensure uh some accountability 0.99
00:20:51.480 the primaries i saw it's very easy to go they suck they suck they suck and sit it out well we've run 0.99
00:20:56.760 the numbers too on this and this is what's dangerous about it um if let's say god forbid 0.99
00:21:01.020 the left flips the senate now i you know if that were to happen um and they have both chambers
00:21:06.320 right so republican president and you could swap them democrat president republican swap both
00:21:09.800 there's an 80 chance that democrats would win in 2028 here's the other thing the person who would
00:21:16.460 be run against democrats is not going to be the trump that you never got it's going to be a romney
00:21:21.140 McCain, historically, with effectively little to no exceptions. So people sitting it out in
00:21:27.120 protest, you have to ask yourself, who are you handing it to? Why is there the fracturing?
00:21:31.000 The only consistency that I see is that the people doing the fracturing have been remarkably
00:21:35.080 inconsistent. All of them. Name any of them. They've either appeared very recently, or they
00:21:40.440 were lifelong liberals or libertarians who switched to MAGA, who switched back. And a valid criticism
00:21:45.400 that i would say to the trump administration is uh you know they they really did buy into it as far 0.99
00:21:51.480 as the shows where they would appear it was it was basically who kissed his ass the most he never 0.96
00:21:54.820 appeared on my show um and that's okay he has every right to uh he you know i haven't been to 0.98
00:21:59.880 the ballroom i wasn't there with an epstein you know binder but i was supportive of him
00:22:04.680 and critical of him all the way through the same way now whereas these people were sycophants he
00:22:11.120 could do no wrong, and now he could do no right. That to me doesn't, it's hard to see that as
00:22:17.300 truthful. So you don't think it's ideological, you just think this is people flip-flopping for,
00:22:21.520 because they never had a consistent position? They haven't had a consistent position. I don't
00:22:26.440 want to attribute motive, I'm just saying that's the only, I try to look for patterns, and the
00:22:29.860 pattern that I see is the biggest people, the tip of the spear there, are people who have been very
00:22:34.220 inconsistent in their views. We have been consistently critical on Donald Trump, where
00:22:38.360 warranted uh and supportive and by the way the tough thing too now is you know people just say
00:22:43.580 stuff that isn't true right that's the clip culture i mean even and i says well you guys
00:22:48.080 got a lot of great qualities and i like you very very much but here it comes but you'll have people
00:22:52.740 spew bullshit here and i know you don't have time to fact check well we can't we can't challenge
00:22:56.380 everything no of course not that's not like dave smith was here by the way he was on my show he's 0.96
00:23:00.040 a very nice guy i mean the best thing you can say about dave smith is like he's there he's there
00:23:04.440 that's dave smith he's there and he said to you guys that i was a never trumper like twice
00:23:09.560 and i was like what cosmic bunny hole did i fall into and it's just i don't know if it's because 0.80
00:23:15.360 he's misinformed stupid but it's really hard for you guys to fact check that because why would 0.94
00:23:20.800 someone lie about that why would someone get it wrong say it twice and then these people in new 0.99
00:23:26.780 media now and i'm the person who obviously use new media to circumvent legacy media uh they don't
00:23:33.020 correct it you know like you could tell you like well Dave hold on a second no I was never I was
00:23:37.340 never never you mean because in the primary where I didn't support him because in the primary he was
00:23:41.500 the only one who was a lifelong democrat and I said we don't need to take this risk and after
00:23:45.620 that I've been incredibly supportive and he's like if you were to correct them with a lot of
00:23:49.620 these people it's like rubbing a dog's face in their mess and they think it's a treat like they 0.99
00:23:53.240 don't get it they don't get you can't just go out and say shit and uh that's also why we have a 0.97
00:23:58.800 practice where we provide a reference for every single claim that we make. Even though we do 0.94
00:24:02.960 silly, childish bull crap and jokes and sketches and actually make it a comedy show, if I make a 0.93
00:24:08.740 definitive claim, I want people to be able to fact check me. And I notice other people deliberately 0.98
00:24:15.000 evading that. And that's always very concerning. Like we said, clip culture. A clip. Okay, you got
00:24:20.940 it. But what's the truth? So what do you think is going to be the future of MAGA, Stephen? Because
00:24:25.820 It's really difficult to see where they go from here post-Trump.
00:24:31.600 I mean, is it?
00:24:33.580 I mean, if we're talking like the guy in 2028, it's still going to be the conservative movement.
00:24:38.060 It's still going to be a nationally focused movement.
00:24:40.740 I still see the tenets being the same, right, as far as strong borders, as far as dealing with immigration.
00:24:45.560 I think now, if anything, you're seeing more of a social component to it because people realize that, you know,
00:24:50.760 you can't fill the void of God that you once had with nothing.
00:24:55.340 I mean, I think you guys see that in the UK, whether you're Christians or not.
00:24:58.020 It's like if you kill God, you don't end up with not God.
00:25:01.360 You just end up with, you know, something else wearing God's robe, whether it's Islam, whether it's secular humanism, whether it's environmentalism.
00:25:09.860 These are all forms of religion, if you look at the way that they're practiced.
00:25:12.980 So I don't see the movement changing really very much.
00:25:15.320 What I see it is the candidate best matching up to the conservative America first MAGA movement and not the other way around.
00:25:23.920 because trump in many ways was kind of innovative for the republican party for instance things like
00:25:31.080 tariffs that isn't really a free market policy so i take your point but he also what he did was
00:25:38.400 innovative i'll go back to that word because it was broadly right-wing but it was taking
00:25:43.280 policies from the left as well no it was something that had been practiced by previous presidents a
00:25:49.080 long time ago to be well that's when people say what have you changed your mind on and the truth
00:25:53.720 is i'm probably uh more racist uh and by that i mean the left's definition i don't think that
00:26:01.000 everyone can be an american i don't think that all cultures are equally compatible um and the
00:26:06.340 other thing is definitely uh trade because you know i was raised in that sort of libertarian era
00:26:10.900 where i thought all right yeah trade is a great thing because okay it raises all boats great and
00:26:16.020 then i realized it wasn't fair then i realized that the tariffs were being put on us in other
00:26:20.040 countries and it was really the take advantage of the united states club i mean if you look at the
00:26:23.580 When people talk about Canada and the tariffs, you know, my silly, I mean, I've renounced my citizenship on the show. 0.89
00:26:29.440 I don't know how I do it officially, but it's such a silly, unserious country and a potential national security threat. 0.97
00:26:34.140 We should invade them. 0.97
00:26:35.320 But I'm not joking.
00:26:37.340 I absolutely think we should just seize complete control of their border, because if you close up the border to the south and Canada does nothing, guess what?
00:26:42.800 You still have a problem.
00:26:44.700 So if you look at, you're like, well, wait a second.
00:26:46.700 These were retaliatory tariffs because you had tariffs, depending on the tier, up to in the hundreds of percentages against American dairy, beef, steel, whatever it is, lumber.
00:26:56.920 Why?
00:26:58.060 Well, because if they didn't do that, they would have no industry and they'd be importing from the United States.
00:27:02.340 So that's one where I've changed my mind, where I don't believe in economic protectionism, but I do believe in equalizing the playing field.
00:27:09.080 Now, I would say that's maybe not the closed-handed issue.
00:27:12.720 The closed-handed issue, I think, that Donald Trump has really changed or made a closed-handed issue is immigration.
00:27:17.940 I think people became very aware of the problem, and that's why the left had to accelerate it.
00:27:22.920 And then I think something that's really important is he's been a lightning rod in highlighting the media bias,
00:27:27.420 in highlighting the culture of compelled language in a way that no other candidate would or could.
00:27:34.060 That's something that I think has changed quite a bit.
00:27:36.240 And I think that will be continued and carried over and expected of whoever the next candidate is,
00:27:40.980 because everything is downstream from culture.
00:27:42.720 That's why when people say, people go, oh, these people want you distracted with culture wars.
00:27:47.320 Well, what brought Jordan Peterson into the fold, and he wouldn't identify as conservative,
00:27:50.660 was compelled language, C-16.
00:27:52.260 If you tell people, hey, you have to use these pronouns, you have to now agree with this gender
00:27:58.740 ideology, they don't want to have a conversation to the left. 0.62
00:28:01.440 They want to own the dictionary, and they want to put you in jail if you don't follow it.
00:28:05.760 And they were on their way.
00:28:07.580 So I don't see those as minor cultural issues.
00:28:09.700 I see those as far more forming of the society we live in than tariffs.
00:28:15.680 But both are important. One is closed-handed.
00:28:18.120 And I was watching your content, and I advise people to go and watch it.
00:28:21.960 It's really great, really engaging, really funny.
00:28:23.980 And you had a video which is Woke 2.0 is going to be worse than the original Woke.
00:28:30.640 Yeah. 0.97
00:28:31.180 I mean, the original Woke, excuse my language, it was fucking horrific. 0.98
00:28:35.720 Yeah. 0.98
00:28:35.900 How can it? I mean, there was a point. People forget this.
00:28:40.160 Well, all you had to say is men can't be women. Your Twitter account was done, my friend.
00:28:44.280 It was over. It was gone. Oh, yeah. How can woke 2.0 be worse than that?
00:28:48.480 Well, how can people say that the left and the right are both the same?
00:28:51.500 When again, could we do we agree that woke 1.0 was coming from one side exclusively?
00:28:55.160 Yes. Politically. OK. Yeah. People now go. It's the same.
00:28:58.920 Oh, who really cares? Donald Trump says there's only two genders. 1.00
00:29:01.080 Well, what that does is it makes the conversation acceptable
00:29:04.880 because I was being banned from campus and demonetized on YouTube.
00:29:07.740 I mean, you talk about Woke 1.0.
00:29:10.980 I was watching a hearing, and Senator Hirono,
00:29:13.920 thinking, Stephen Carter committed hate speech. 1.00
00:29:16.080 I'm like, what the fuck? 0.99
00:29:17.100 Talk about surreal, where I'm sitting there like... 0.99
00:29:19.880 And Susan Wojcicki was at the Recode conference saying,
00:29:21.960 well, he didn't violate our policies.
00:29:23.060 He actually didn't.
00:29:24.000 He didn't violate our policies, didn't violate community guidelines,
00:29:26.240 so they demonetized me. 0.94
00:29:27.540 I said, okay, that sucks. 0.78
00:29:28.900 I've had...
00:29:29.620 When people misuse the term panic attacks,
00:29:31.080 i hate it because i've had two maybe three in my life but i remember exactly where i was
00:29:35.760 yeah so and one of them was when youtube was calling with this vox apocalypse i mean their
00:29:40.320 stock took a nosedive and they demonetized a bunch of history channels because of yours truly sorry
00:29:46.120 about that and uh they called and they were reading off a script they're like and uh after
00:29:51.500 our internal review and the room started spinning because at this point i didn't really have any
00:29:57.000 other primary uh form of income and i'm going oh no they're going to ban me so i won't be able to
00:30:02.320 reach out to people to build my business and i laid back on the bed and they said and that's why 0.96
00:30:07.660 we've decided to demonetize you and i was like oh you're bullshit that's it okay thanks just a few 0.93
00:30:12.540 million dollars a year gone but then it wasn't enough so they demanded the borderline content 0.97
00:30:18.200 rule the rule that you know we deal with now that's very opaque that is known sometimes in
00:30:21.940 the industry as the crowder rule it didn't exist before this because they needed to appease the
00:30:25.640 leftist mob more. You have
00:30:27.640 senators and you have legislators saying, well, it's not
00:30:29.600 enough to demonetize them.
00:30:31.440 You seem quite proud of it being named after it.
00:30:33.620 You are. Look at your little face.
00:30:35.460 If my life is more going to be semi-destroyed,
00:30:37.600 I want my name on a plaque.
00:30:39.280 It's like, hey, come on. Yeah, it's like you get
00:30:41.500 a disease named after it. Right.
00:30:43.140 It's like Bruce Wayne with the orphanage. He's like, my name better
00:30:45.420 be on there, Alfred.
00:30:48.260 I don't know if he said that.
00:30:50.980 But it would be funny if Batman was
00:30:53.260 egotistical.
00:30:54.140 I mean, he was egotistical
00:30:56.140 He was a little bit, yeah
00:30:58.140 We were talking about him doing stand-up, like, why are you laughing?
00:31:00.140 This is funny
00:31:02.140 Go on to the next one, Master Wayne
00:31:04.140 So, yeah, what happened with
00:31:06.140 I don't know why Michael Caine's in the audience 1.00
00:31:08.140 Get off it, they don't like the racial humour 1.00
00:31:10.140 Do your tranny stuff 1.00
00:31:12.140 Don't work
00:31:14.140 Was he at one of your gig statements?
00:31:16.140 Michael Caine, yeah
00:31:18.140 Why do you think you can't hear laughter anymore?
00:31:20.140 I mean, I don't know, I don't even know what this voice is
00:31:22.140 um so yeah this was really really bad woke 2.0 let me explain it to you this way because people
00:31:27.740 don't appreciate how bad it was um if you have children and let's say you tell your child to
00:31:34.700 not do something i don't know don't uh you know don't take cookies but i'm not there but the kid
00:31:39.020 is determined to do it you catch him getting on the counter and reaching it okay he now knows that
00:31:44.620 he's going to be caught that way or she uh he's going to find a way around it so he now has
00:31:51.180 has set into his programming all right i now know how to evade the obvious point of detection
00:31:58.040 so i've got to take another route it's going to be more subversive they're not going to say hey
00:32:02.760 you have to you know it's hate speech if you don't use these genders they're going to change it
00:32:06.940 they're going to say yeah we thought me too was too much for example look at that cornell seven
00:32:10.820 and we had on the show i guess now it's cornell eight i guess is it what happened i haven't
00:32:15.760 we did a bit where we had the cornell eight on the show in a letterman's jacket and he had eight on
00:32:20.280 his shirt and he was like i just watched i sat there and watched and then watched storage wars
00:32:23.960 and went to bed and now i guess there are eight but look at how they handled that right because
00:32:29.040 me too was rejected obviously rape is bad i mean i don't want to speak for you i think we agree
00:32:35.240 that rape is bad uh but then you had people like even people who i despise like aziz i'm sorry he
00:32:39.920 is a woke leftist himself he had a bad date okay you went to a guy's apartment at 2 a.m drank white 0.76
00:32:44.700 wine and you're surprised that a short indian man is perhaps not the most tactful lover that's not 0.76
00:32:50.820 rape so they go now they go well well obviously me too was bad they go but this woman was gang 0.83
00:32:57.380 banged against her will and she passed out in other words they know that you're going to say
00:33:01.020 hold on a second hold on a second like we did used to have the conversation about consent and
00:33:05.900 they go we know that people care about consent so now we're going to change the definition of
00:33:10.960 consent this person did consent this person was conscious this person did try and follow up and
00:33:15.740 have more dates with them and she was regretful after the fact it doesn't matter they've changed
00:33:20.740 it now to say no no no no you can remove and don't you know this you can even consent and
00:33:26.680 reiterate the next day and the day after and two weeks after because that's a trauma response
00:33:31.840 so the conversation used to be well she did consent and they would say well you can retroactively
00:33:36.420 remove consent we rejected it right no you can't well now they go well actually it's
00:33:40.840 not real consent it's a trauma response see so they bake it into the woke 2.0 to sell it to you
00:33:46.280 to sell it to unsuspecting rubes as a new bill of goods and uh my concern is that that intersects
00:33:53.120 with people saying there's no difference between the right and the left i mean i was shocked to
00:33:57.460 see how many people who were on the right especially these women with lindsey clancy
00:34:01.120 blaming pharmaceutical companies i was shocked to see how many people were saying this is just 1.00
00:34:05.100 all disgusting, the Cornell 7. Look, I get it. An orgy may not be your thing. It's not my thing
00:34:10.680 either. You know, call me Mr. Traditional. But it was their thing. What a prude. Well, I have known
00:34:16.500 to be prudish. Like, I draw the line at five or six. I call that the grace gang banger. You know,
00:34:23.920 like the express aisle. But it's baked into it. They now know how to sell it what didn't work.
00:34:29.760 To expect anything else is to believe that the left is willing to actually correct the
00:34:35.080 past and say you know what we went too far and maybe we should stop pushing this agenda they
00:34:39.640 can't well what i found interesting about aoc saying woke 1.0 when it was crazy is it implies
00:34:46.280 there is a woke 2.0 coming of course by the logic of it right so what is woke 2.0 that's what it is
00:34:52.920 it's just it's selling it differently it's packaging it in a way that doesn't look look
00:34:57.160 but see we just interviewed david pacman right who's a left-wing you know progressive youtube
00:35:02.120 commentator and the moment we brought up trans it was like trans had never happened he basically
00:35:07.500 just went i always thought we just you know gave that issue too much you know it's up to individual 0.90
00:35:11.580 sports oh bullshit well i i didn't say it quite like that but okay let me ask you do you believe 0.97
00:35:17.460 him no no no all right well they just say that next time no bullshit well see for me we always 0.98
00:35:23.160 whenever we have people on we like to let them express their point of view and with him it's
00:35:27.080 useful for people to see that and i thought he actually made a lot of good points on other things
00:35:30.540 but you probably didn't but but this idea that trans was like not a big deal i mean i it was 0.71
00:35:38.680 rammed down everybody's fucking throats of course for years at a time and you had to it's almost 0.96
00:35:43.480 like you know if you weren't trans yourself you were violating some sort of requirement 0.99
00:35:47.140 that's how much it went through but now they're all kind of pulling back so i'm not sure you're
00:35:53.280 going to bring that one back i mean that one was clearly deeply on what you think trans is coming
00:35:58.660 back yes i don't think it ever went anymore do you think the left is going to say no no you're
00:36:03.920 right no men no biological no cocks in women's sports do you think they're going to say that 0.59
00:36:08.900 i don't think they'll use that language do you think do you think they'll even concede 0.72
00:36:13.300 i know no no no they will do what david did which is they'll say oh this was never yeah
00:36:19.780 gavin newsom did that with charlie kirk right which by the way i was critical of charlie
00:36:22.700 when that happened and uh i said why don't you push back gavin was like of course you know i've
00:36:26.460 never been for that yes he was he absolutely was he was no it's true it's true so they'll just say
00:36:31.340 that they weren't that's what i'm saying woke 2.0 say well no no we're not talking about this
00:36:35.580 extremism they are it's the same thing when they say well abortion no we're not zealots um you
00:36:42.540 can't name me and people get mad when i say this they go it's not left versus right man it is it's
00:36:47.680 not only left versus right but that is the primary delineation in worldviews and it is the most
00:36:54.060 effective one i am not going to disagree with any other group more consistently than the left
00:36:59.240 including by the way billionaires elites jews accountants if you say the left i go okay i'm
00:37:06.040 going to disagree with them on more things than any other group of people if you look at uh the
00:37:10.700 the trans issue you're just talking about uh we were talking about gavin newsom right uh and then
00:37:16.080 what was the question you said something about the pac-man guy the well i just said i said to
00:37:21.480 We put the trans issue to him, and he was like,
00:37:23.920 I never thought that was important.
00:37:26.360 We talked about it way too much.
00:37:27.580 That's what they'll say.
00:37:28.960 But then when you have two people with, 0.99
00:37:31.340 if not two dicks, 0.98
00:37:33.120 enlarged love nub at the Olympics, 0.97
00:37:37.020 boxing for the final medal,
00:37:38.980 you guys know what I'm saying?
00:37:40.460 They'll still defend it.
00:37:42.160 They still always defend it.
00:37:43.400 And going to the abortion issue,
00:37:44.280 they go, we're not zealots.
00:37:45.120 You can't find one person on the left,
00:37:46.940 on the DNC national platform,
00:37:48.320 who will put any limitation whatsoever on abortion.
00:37:50.960 Whatsoever.
00:37:51.480 all the way up to birth.
00:37:53.240 And then, of course, you had governors and senators and people when asked,
00:37:56.460 even asked, would you support, for example, some kind of bill for infants born alive?
00:38:00.460 I won't give any comment on that.
00:38:02.500 I'm actually at the point where I believe that what people would view as the radical right-wing view
00:38:08.100 is more reasonable than the moderate left view.
00:38:12.280 Because people say, we're talking about the Democrats, not the woke left.
00:38:16.120 Okay, name me one person on that platform.
00:38:18.660 One person who ran for president in the last cycle
00:38:21.260 who had a reasonable approach to trans issues.
00:38:24.900 Who didn't believe in trans and kids.
00:38:26.680 Who didn't believe in men and women's sports.
00:38:28.420 Name me one. 0.99
00:38:30.440 Last time.
00:38:31.420 I imagine, I don't know much about this,
00:38:33.140 so this is just off the top.
00:38:34.120 I imagine in the previous cycle,
00:38:35.640 you would have had Tulsi and Andrew Yank,
00:38:38.400 who we've just had on. 0.99
00:38:39.100 I don't imagine they would have been for trans and kids.
00:38:40.360 That would have been a while ago, Tulsi.
00:38:41.700 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. 0.90
00:38:44.280 And she's obviously been drummed out of the core, 0.96
00:38:46.500 like Tulsi Gabbard.
00:38:47.320 So, no, I mean, OK. Kamala Harris. Yep. Biden. Yep. Elizabeth Warren. Yep. Bernie. Yep. Gavin Newsom. Yep. Right now. Tallarico. AOC. Yep. El-Sayed. I mean, aside from, you know, evading the Muslim Brotherhood question, we don't really know everything about his views. So, yeah, it's still what they believe. It's just they are going to attempt to repackage it. They don't move back.
00:39:11.340 hard to imagine how they'll bring back trans that's going to be compelled language 0.99
00:39:14.540 tell me more they don't they don't go hey we want biological men and women's sports 0.92
00:39:19.740 they're not going to say that right because people go what get out of here these are the 0.89
00:39:23.880 same people used to have the sign that said no vagina no opinion and now it reads like
00:39:27.240 or whatever is the addendum so they're not going to say that but they're going to say
00:39:32.160 well yeah but you know what it's not right to it's it's hate speech to not use these pronouns
00:39:38.300 It's violating rights of the children.
00:39:41.140 You know, it's basically they don't believe in parental rights,
00:39:43.660 but violating your parental responsibilities
00:39:45.400 and not listening to you.
00:39:46.540 That's what you hear them saying now,
00:39:47.680 that they want to transition.
00:39:49.280 It'll be compelled language like you saw in Canada
00:39:51.420 or you see in Europe.
00:39:52.720 They say you're free to speak
00:39:53.960 unless you step on the landmines
00:39:57.060 that they have laid down for you,
00:39:58.800 in which case you can be arrested,
00:40:00.280 you can be fined, you can be deplatformed.
00:40:02.740 If they came out and said,
00:40:04.980 we were wrong about that,
00:40:06.020 but but not only do they not do that i saw the democratic socialist bernie sanders praising lula
00:40:14.900 what what are we what are we doing here what does he mean he doesn't actually that was the thing
00:40:20.480 right it's just oh well the qualifier is democratic socialism well he doesn't believe in that he
00:40:24.560 doesn't believe in that he doesn't believe that lula is is anything other than a corrupt politician 0.81
00:40:28.480 it's a means to an end these people are marxists that is who they are at their core now it doesn't
00:40:34.260 mean everyone who votes Democrat. I'm talking about those in charge of the party. If they can 0.98
00:40:39.100 compel language, they will. If they can take away your guns, they will. If they can de-platform you,
00:40:44.380 they will. Why? Because they try. And the only thing that stopped them was alternative media
00:40:50.940 shining a light on information, right? The CNNs, the places don't have a stranglehold, 0.78
00:40:55.020 and the Trump administration stepping in. It's no small thing. I truly believe it'll just be
00:41:00.320 more subversive. They'll try and be subtle in the packaging. It's the exact same agenda.
00:41:04.260 don't doubt it for a second. When we set up the trigonometry merch store,
00:41:08.580 I assumed the hard part would be selling the stuff. It isn't, it's checkout. Getting someone
00:41:14.500 from, I'll have that, to paid without losing them. Shopify had solved that before we even launched.
00:41:21.620 The moment someone is actually ready to pay, Shopify makes sure they can. If they've bought
00:41:26.820 before, their details are already saved. So it's one tap and done. No forms, no abandoned baskets.
00:41:32.580 For us, that means less time running a shop and more time on the things we actually do.
00:41:37.440 And the same tools behind our store are there for you.
00:41:41.180 Whatever you want to sell.
00:41:42.740 If you want to start the way we did, that's shopify.co.trigger.
00:41:47.560 With Shopify, nothing stands between your idea and a real business.
00:41:52.240 So go make it one.

00:42:04.440 You know where I think the next battleground is going to be?
00:42:07.880 And look, this isn't a hot take.
00:42:09.420 I think everyone can see it.
00:42:10.520 But it's economic populism.
00:42:11.880 It's the ever-growing...
00:42:13.160 I thought you were going to say Ecuador.
00:42:14.500 Yeah, Ecuador.
00:42:15.540 Yeah, let's talk about Ecuador.
00:42:16.800 No, economic populism.
00:42:17.460 His mother is from Venezuela.
00:42:18.680 Yeah, yeah, we haven't mentioned it yet.
00:42:20.180 You can all drink and watch it.
00:42:21.160 Does she hate Ecuadorians? 0.85
00:42:22.140 Who do the Venezuelans hate? 0.99
00:42:22.840 Oh, my mom hates everybody. 0.96
00:42:24.100 Yeah. 1.00
00:42:24.400 You know, South American people hate each other. 1.00
00:42:26.960 I know. 0.90
00:42:28.000 White people are the least racist people on the planet. 1.00
00:42:30.060 My lady, she's Brazilian but was also raised by a Cuban. 1.00
00:42:33.780 She's racist to every other Hispanic group. 1.00
00:42:36.460 Yeah, and they deserve it, especially the Argentines. 1.00
00:42:38.820 They're the worst. 1.00
00:42:39.480 Well, they all hate them because they're basically white. 1.00
00:42:41.340 Yeah, exactly. 0.93
00:42:41.840 So I think there's a little bit of jealousy. 0.77
00:42:43.440 Not that white is superior, just that they're jealous.
00:42:45.500 And then I also know that Chileans and Peruvians 0.99
00:42:47.400 would murder every last one of the other. 1.00
00:42:49.900 Yeah, they would do.
00:42:50.660 I mean, you look at the way we behave with each other.
00:42:52.480 It's all Viva la Revolución.
00:42:53.800 Yeah, it really is.
00:42:54.580 It's like your choice is communist guerrillas or a strongman dictator.
00:42:58.480 And then you're like, all right, we're going to take our chances with this,
00:43:00.480 do it a couple of decades and swing back.
00:43:02.020 Yeah. And that's basically what we do.
00:43:03.180 It's a beautiful model.
00:43:04.140 It is. It is.
00:43:04.820 But the best ground is economics.
00:43:06.460 But yeah. So economic populism, the ever growing disparity between rich and poor
00:43:10.760 and what you have are the Mandanis of the world going, right, what we need is socialism.
00:43:15.960 Yeah.
00:43:16.400 That seems to me the real battleground for the next five and 10 years.
00:43:21.000 Not only in the US, but also in the UK as well.
00:43:23.920 Yeah, you guys pretty much already have it, though.
00:43:25.860 So what do you mean?
00:43:26.940 Is there a Bernie there promising more socialism?
00:43:30.360 Actually, yes.
00:43:32.720 You can always do more.
00:43:34.020 Yeah. 0.99
00:43:34.480 We've now got an Islamist party.
00:43:35.940 It's very exciting.
00:43:36.780 It's an actual party?
00:43:38.100 They don't call it that, obviously.
00:43:40.080 But they will soon.
00:43:41.040 Don't worry about it.
00:43:41.900 But actually, on the economic thing,
00:43:43.160 so as we're recording this,
00:43:44.440 we've just had the budget,
00:43:45.600 this won't be super interesting to Americans,
00:43:47.400 other than the minimum wage
00:43:49.360 is now half of the threshold
00:43:51.880 for paying the top rate of tax.
00:43:53.860 Okay.
00:43:54.440 So $27,000 a year is what the minimum wage is,
00:43:58.400 and at 50-something, you start paying the top rate of tax.
00:44:01.640 Yeah.
00:44:02.440 That's socialism.
00:44:03.220 What's the top marginal tax rate there?
00:44:04.580 Because in Quebec, the top marginal tax rate is like, it's over 50%.
00:44:07.280 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:44:07.980 But it depends how far you go. 0.87
00:44:09.000 So once you hit $100,000, they actually start taking shit away from you
00:44:13.680 to the point where it actually doesn't make sense for you to earn the next $25,000.
00:44:18.660 So if you're on $100,000, you're better off not earning the next $26,000 a year
00:44:22.580 because you get punished so hard.
00:44:24.600 They take everything away from you.
00:44:26.720 So we already have that.
00:44:28.280 I mean, that is socialism.
00:44:29.560 But anyway, with economic populism in America,
00:44:32.640 what Francis is saying is that, rather than woke,
00:44:35.940 seems to have been the winning model for Democrats.
00:44:38.660 Well, yeah, because they're taking that from Donald Trump
00:44:41.000 and from the MAGA movement.
00:44:42.080 But the MAGA movement wasn't socialism.
00:44:43.720 The MAGA movement was, hey, look,
00:44:45.340 you can keep more of your money.
00:44:48.060 And we will...
00:44:48.860 The one thing I think that people don't appreciate
00:44:51.380 about the United States,
00:44:52.220 when we're talking about this,
00:44:53.300 because it matters as it refers to populism.
00:44:55.020 It's going to be very different from the United States
00:44:56.760 than anywhere else in the world.
00:44:58.760 In that you can have, in this country,
00:45:01.560 a free market economy-based populist movement.
00:45:04.800 Meaning you can have a criticism of the current government
00:45:06.740 because you're talking about trillions
00:45:08.320 just in interest on debt, right?
00:45:10.360 And a lot of it spent, most of it on entitlements,
00:45:12.960 or I would say the biggest percentage on entitlements.
00:45:14.860 And of course, foreign entanglements,
00:45:16.160 that's a component of it, where you can say, 0.86
00:45:17.680 hey, everything is too expensive
00:45:20.220 and we want the government to stop doing this,
00:45:23.060 to stop spending all of this.
00:45:24.360 I don't want to be paying all of this in taxes
00:45:26.640 and when I go to the gas pump 1.00
00:45:28.180 so that a baby mama with five kids, you know, 1.00
00:45:31.000 can be on welfare and chronically poor 1.00
00:45:33.200 and collect Fanta on Snap.
00:45:35.180 That can be a populist message in the right
00:45:38.300 here in this country.
00:45:39.300 And it can't be, for example, in Brazil
00:45:40.700 because we have class mobility here
00:45:42.060 in a way that you don't anywhere else.
00:45:43.860 That's one thing that I think having...
00:45:45.940 Explain that a little bit more.
00:45:47.380 So what I mean by that, I mean, I think the stat,
00:45:49.100 I'm going by rote, and I know you guys have the fact check come up.
00:45:51.240 We can, no, we can do it better.
00:45:53.560 We can, if you make the claim, we'll fact check it with Venice AI.
00:45:56.420 Yeah.
00:45:56.720 And then it's not, it's not, we got Stephen.
00:45:59.740 It's more like, here's the information.
00:46:00.780 And is there a discount on that, Venice AI?
00:46:02.580 Absolutely.
00:46:03.400 Mm, nom, nom, nom, nom.
00:46:04.880 Venice AI makes a boy grow strong.
00:46:08.220 That's a great ad.
00:46:09.620 What's the claim?
00:46:10.260 I think it's, I think the number is something like 70% of Americans will find themselves
00:46:15.740 in the top 20% of earners at some point in their lifetime.
00:46:18.880 And your claim is that significantly different from other countries?
00:46:21.280 Yes.
00:46:21.620 Okay.
00:46:22.120 Billy, will you check that?
00:46:22.720 There is more class mobility in the United States.
00:46:25.740 And there's more hope in the United States.
00:46:27.400 So the message from the left is, oh, what, so you think you're going to get the Lambo?
00:46:31.540 You know, whatever.
00:46:31.900 They try and point to a character like Andrew Tate, like, riding to Ferraris like skis.
00:46:35.280 It's like, no, no.
00:46:36.160 Americans do believe that they could have a good idea, create a business, get ahead, and support their family.
00:46:42.900 Americans do believe that because it's also very possible.
00:46:45.380 Well, it's true in America.
00:46:46.440 And people have many, many examples.
00:46:48.420 It's tougher to use Brazil as an example
00:46:50.040 because I was just at the center
00:46:52.000 of an international incident with Brazil.
00:46:53.980 And my woman is Brazilian, 0.53
00:46:56.440 which is funny.
00:46:56.900 I was going to change my mind 1.00
00:46:57.600 and a lady got mad. 1.00
00:46:58.800 She's like, you're a woman. 0.95
00:46:59.580 I can't believe. 1.00
00:47:00.260 And I came home
00:47:00.840 and she was like just ready to go.
00:47:02.320 They love being,
00:47:03.000 they love you being slightly possessed, 1.00
00:47:04.420 the Latino women, 1.00
00:47:05.120 just to let you know. 1.00
00:47:05.980 But my woman is... 1.00
00:47:06.640 That's why France is into... 0.93
00:47:07.900 Is he? 1.00
00:47:09.060 As opposed to the Asians, 1.00
00:47:10.340 they just love to be cold 1.00
00:47:11.420 and calculated and, you know,
00:47:13.120 but you give them children.
00:47:14.280 I will say though,
00:47:15.560 so in Brazil though,
00:47:17.760 Before you make your point, Billy, did you look it up?
00:47:21.140 Was the point 70% of owners will find themselves
00:47:24.120 in the top tax bracket at some point in life?
00:47:26.000 At some point in life, I think 70% of it,
00:47:27.640 there's a percentage of American earners
00:47:29.120 who will find themselves, I think, at 70% in the top 20%.
00:47:31.920 You might have it, Lane.
00:47:32.620 Is that the number?
00:47:33.380 Yeah, it's 60%.
00:47:34.180 Okay.
00:47:35.100 Look, I got my own Venice.
00:47:36.220 It's Lane.
00:47:38.080 Everybody's using Venice.
00:47:38.780 You're not ready for surgery yet, Venice.
00:47:41.980 But yeah, so the point is, 1.00
00:47:43.440 if you were to go to a Brazilian shopkeeper
00:47:44.580 and say like, hey, you know, Bolsonaro,
00:47:47.760 more right-wing.
00:47:50.060 And by the way, I understand that all parties
00:47:51.820 are corrupt in South America.
00:47:52.820 I mean, you know, you're Venezuela, you know.
00:47:55.440 They go, okay, so I'm going to make more money.
00:47:59.000 You're like, you may not.
00:48:00.320 You may not make more money in Brazil.
00:48:02.960 And the truth is, it's far less likely in Brazil
00:48:05.160 because if you were born in the bottom 10%,
00:48:07.240 the odds are you'll die in the bottom 10%,
00:48:09.960 certainly in a place like India, of course,
00:48:11.820 and it has a caste system.
00:48:14.000 But what you can tell those people is
00:48:15.660 you at least will be saved of the indignities
00:48:19.920 of having to put up a sign,
00:48:21.640 Workers Unite or Viva la Revolution.
00:48:23.520 It's like the lamb's blood
00:48:24.560 so that the revolutionaries pass over your shop.
00:48:27.040 In other words, you won't have to appease the mob
00:48:28.980 and live in fear.
00:48:29.840 We can put an infrastructure and law and order,
00:48:32.160 but you can't really promise them prosperity
00:48:34.500 the same way that you can, the opportunity of prosperity.
00:48:37.560 So you can have a populist movement on the right
00:48:39.820 in the United States that isn't socialism.
00:48:43.160 I don't know that that's the case in many other countries
00:48:45.440 because people don't experience the class mobility
00:48:47.640 and believe in it.
00:48:49.020 And unfortunately, that's been warped to,
00:48:52.400 hey, well, why are there people who are so rich and I'm not?
00:48:54.940 Well, that was never a right-wing ideal.
00:48:56.760 I mean, if I double the income right now
00:48:58.740 of every single person in the United States,
00:49:00.800 there'll be more wealth inequality,
00:49:03.000 but you will be far richer.
00:49:03.980 Would you take that deal?
00:49:04.740 Most people, yes.
00:49:05.560 My primary problem is poverty.
00:49:08.180 And then if the wealth is ill-gotten gain,
00:49:11.080 like when you, and you see that as a result of socialism,
00:49:13.500 look at COVID.
00:49:15.120 That was one of the greatest wealth transfers
00:49:17.400 in modern history, right?
00:49:19.600 In Michigan, you were just there.
00:49:21.240 Couldn't go to a local farmer's market,
00:49:23.300 but I could go to Costco.
00:49:24.700 I couldn't go out on my own boat in the lake,
00:49:27.560 but I could go to a weed shop.
00:49:29.740 Make that make sense.
00:49:30.820 And so it was transferred to the Bezos of the world,
00:49:33.160 to the Zuckerbergs of the world.
00:49:35.800 And whenever you look at socialism,
00:49:37.320 you invariably see people at the top.
00:49:39.220 Look at Cuba, look at Brazil.
00:49:40.520 These people live high on the hog.
00:49:41.380 So I think there's two different forms of populism
00:49:43.900 in the United States.
00:49:45.680 And Donald Trump wasn't just promising free stuff.
00:49:48.500 Now, he kind of tried that in the last election.
00:49:50.440 He was like, $5,000 if you vote for me,
00:49:53.020 ooh, that's a lot of cheddar.
00:49:54.300 You're like, come on, man.
00:49:55.020 Like, this is pandering.
00:49:56.920 But yeah, so I think there is a way
00:49:58.380 to have a battle on that front
00:49:59.340 and not just give people say it as wish list.
00:50:01.660 In terms of the economic thing, 1.00
00:50:03.220 I think there is a stupid version of the argument, 1.00
00:50:06.780 which is the billionaires are getting richer 1.00
00:50:08.760 while blah, blah, blah, even though they are.
00:50:11.240 But what actually has been happening
00:50:12.720 is because of all the money printing,
00:50:14.660 what has happened is the people who own assets,
00:50:17.340 that's not just billionaires, actually,
00:50:19.200 it's boomers and Gen Xers and some millennials.
00:50:23.580 And obviously in every generation,
00:50:25.140 you're going to get people who break out of the trap of it.
00:50:27.600 Sure.
00:50:27.960 But increasingly, the people who own assets
00:50:31.020 and have owned assets for 20, 30 years
00:50:33.220 are running away from everybody without doing any more work.
00:50:37.060 They just happen to live at a time
00:50:38.680 when there's so much inflation
00:50:40.240 and so much debasement of the currency
00:50:42.420 for the last 30 years, that all you really had to do, you know, the genius plan was you had to
00:50:48.080 be a boomer and buy a house for $3 in 1970, right? Well, that's an exaggeration, I believe.
00:50:53.560 Yeah. But, hold on, just to be clear, did you use my jumping off point as the stupid form of the 0.98
00:50:59.840 argument? No. No, no, no. What I'm saying is the left has a stupid version of this argument. 0.99
00:51:04.520 I feel better about it now. But there is a steel man version of the argument, which is due to the 0.98
00:51:08.820 the basement of the currency and money printing you have a situation where the asset owners are
00:51:15.260 running away from everybody not because they invented some new thing that does a thing sure
00:51:19.660 not because they created a business not because they did anything but because they bought a house
00:51:24.480 for three dollars in 1973 yeah and now it's worth two million dollars also i also appreciate that we
00:51:29.940 can have a conversation where you don't have to be specific about everything and someone's like you
00:51:32.680 know what you have to like you said you have a thing that can you know like that could be like
00:51:34.900 you develop a thing that's prolapse you're like well that's not a good thing yeah but we know what
00:51:38.700 you're talking about i will say uh yeah but not just because of assets so if you look at this
00:51:45.920 argument and it's really hard because the same thing happens with the israel thing where people
00:51:49.900 are like i've been called both in both a nazi and a jew shell in the same day um if we look at this 0.75
00:51:55.800 boomers have a point and so do gen z so in a couple of ways um boomers obviously benefit from 0.51
00:52:03.960 you know the tailwind from the the greatest generation okay uh and when they point to a lot
00:52:09.080 of the technological advancements and the creature comforts gen z definitely has that in spades and
00:52:13.680 gen z people can definitely make better financial decisions i mean i i always do coffee at home i
00:52:18.920 just the other day stopped and got a cold brew i was like nine dollars i said did people do
00:52:22.320 she was like yeah i'll come in and do it every day i said like do young people she's like as
00:52:26.120 a monthly young people and i wanted to hit her i didn't of course i wouldn't because it's wrong
00:52:30.360 but it just made me so i'm like okay so this is a component but when you go to the necessities
00:52:35.300 like owning a house like university right like health care okay name me any other industries
00:52:43.240 that have been more subsidized or regulated like i had this conversation with my parents
00:52:48.300 i was like they were like well you know we have this house i'm like yeah you bought the house
00:52:51.820 for like i don't know three hundred thousand dollars and now it's worth five million and 1.00
00:52:56.000 you're surrounded by indians like let's just be honest about what this is and same thing if you 0.99
00:53:01.160 look at health care well i mean obamacare happened you saw premium skyrocket right you're talking 1.00
00:53:05.720 about deductibles uh if you look at student loans i've talked about those people their eyes glaze
00:53:09.900 over my debate at harvard with a professor you could see he didn't understand it where i said
00:53:14.300 there's an incentive to make school unaffordable in the because uncle sam's gonna make up the
00:53:19.440 difference right with these grants and a big part of that is diversity and affirmative action and
00:53:23.280 DEI and kids who are underprivileged so I had this this was a big thing for me I was at Fox News
00:53:28.800 and there was a debate with it was either Lanny Davis or Doug Schoen some like basic white guy
00:53:34.300 entrenched with the Democrats and this is when we were just facing the housing crash and he was 0.65
00:53:40.300 and he was saying this is not right you know this is uh distinctly and these Americans shouldn't be
00:53:44.280 evicted from their homes and it's horrible and it's not fair and I was maybe 22 I don't know
00:53:49.000 and i said yeah i said did they make those payments so i said well you say predatory lending
00:53:55.400 i don't really understand how a bank who makes money off of you paying back alone with interest
00:54:01.360 had like oh you know what i'm gonna do i want to find people who can never pay it back that
00:54:04.600 doesn't make sense unless someone else is picking up the tab unless you're incentivized or in some
00:54:08.920 cases pressured i said so did the people though do they make those payments no do they have the
00:54:13.440 lowest interest rates of anyone buying a house at any point in time i said you know what i don't
00:54:17.700 think is fair is someone like, and my parents had moved back to the States. They were living in a
00:54:22.280 townhouse and they were looking to buy a home. And then it was way more difficult for them to
00:54:25.680 purchase a home. I said, I don't think it's fair for people who've actually saved up. They have
00:54:28.240 20% to put down and they're facing whatever it is, 10% rates. And they can't get in because of
00:54:32.620 some government policy that requires someone who hasn't made payments on that house for 14 months,
00:54:37.540 however long it is that they get to stay in the name of fairness. I don't think that's right. I
00:54:41.000 think the people who can afford and saved and responsible with their money should probably
00:54:44.540 have an opportunity at those houses i walked out and my three biggest influences in life would be
00:54:51.160 david letterman norm mcdonald and john stossel i walk out and john stossel has you know the makeup
00:54:55.200 bib and they're carefully going around to stash and uh he goes hey you're that stephen crowder
00:55:00.280 kid and i go yeah he goes uh you talk too much i go yeah i started a thing in cancun you talk too
00:55:06.340 much but you really so if you talk less and show more he goes that'd be great and then the guy who
00:55:10.180 debated lanny davis reduction is walking by he goes hey doug or lanny he goes yeah he goes
00:55:16.100 you're wrong kids right and i just thought oh okay and this guy is brilliant uh certainly as far as
00:55:22.100 um economics like that is something people need to understand it's not just because they bought
00:55:26.980 a house and it went up naturally it has been an artificially manipulated market because the whole
00:55:31.620 thing is hey people got to have their home prices go up that's your nest egg so when people condemn
00:55:37.460 it when young people look at that and they go the solution is more socialism is more government
00:55:42.340 intervention okay they're not asking for that in the areas where costs have actually come down
00:55:48.100 technology creature comforts i mean even far more amenities with rent that does not build a life so
00:55:53.300 they have a legitimate claim young people like it's really hard to afford a home sure in comparison
00:55:59.460 it's really hard to afford uh higher education sure in comparison health care is unaffordable
00:56:05.780 sure, in comparison. You've just listed the three categories of our economy that have seen the
00:56:12.040 biggest pieces of legislation that we've ever seen in our lifetimes. That's how I view it.
00:56:17.520 And your argument would be, if you didn't mess with it, it actually worked.
00:56:22.620 Yeah. I mean, it sounds simplistic, but what do we think happens if people who can't afford a house,
00:56:28.580 they get evicted from a house because they're not making the payments? You have more houses
00:56:32.100 in the market. What do we think happens if, for example, you allow insurance across state lines
00:56:36.980 as opposed to protecting insurance companies? Well, there's a cheaper plan in Texas and
00:56:40.620 you live in Connecticut. Now you can get the cheapest plan. What do we think happens if
00:56:45.320 schools don't get checks from Uncle Sam and you say, well, I can't afford it.
00:56:50.520 Schools go out of business. Yeah. You've seen their entire business model and price margins
00:56:58.800 change with the increased government intervention so there are ways the government can intervene
00:57:04.520 usually in a regulatory way to protect consumers to protect americans but people you know you're
00:57:10.000 never going to have uh a socialist come in and say hey by the way i don't know you know what's
00:57:14.880 really uh really cool about the end of this is i'm gonna enslave you uh they'll always come in
00:57:19.500 saying it's democratic they'll always come in saying that yeah you can vote us in we're gonna
00:57:22.980 do this for you and uh eventually you know the old phrase is that money runs out so i think in
00:57:28.400 the States, you can have both forms of a populist movement. It's really interesting. And where do
00:57:32.360 you see the Mamdani democratic socialists? Do you think they've got real cut through with people in 0.79
00:57:36.980 the country? Or do you think this is mainly just a city-based phenomenon? I don't know.
00:57:42.620 I mean, there's one of those things I just like, I don't, because you'll have people who like say
00:57:45.720 comedian and then they like present themselves as intellectuals. Everything I just said could
00:57:48.860 be wrong. But I will make references available for every single claim that I make. I don't think
00:57:53.560 of myself as a genius. I don't think of myself as knowing all this. I think of myself as a student.
00:57:58.400 And I've studied those topics pretty well.
00:58:00.280 As far as a political prediction with Mumdani,
00:58:03.100 obviously you're going to test it in New York first.
00:58:05.800 How far is it going to go?
00:58:06.940 How far is a guy going to go who doesn't like wearing shoes
00:58:09.520 and eats rice bowls with his hands?
00:58:11.220 I mean, I don't think it'll play well in Oklahoma,
00:58:12.860 but I don't know.
00:58:14.200 I don't know.
00:58:15.360 Well, his point is about the left-wing economic populism.
00:58:19.900 Well, Bernie was the movement candidate.
00:58:22.100 I focused on Bernie when everyone was focusing on Hillary.
00:58:24.480 I'm like, look, that's going to be the coronation.
00:58:25.800 It's going to be Hillary. 0.74
00:58:26.740 But Bernie is the movement candidate.
00:58:28.400 And we saw a lot of people come over from Bernie to Donald Trump.
00:58:31.580 So there is an intersect.
00:58:32.680 And I think some people are, either because they're simple-minded, I guess,
00:58:38.700 acting like leftist populism is the same as free market populism.
00:58:44.600 But yeah, I think a lot of people are confused,
00:58:46.300 and it's become the same chance as Bernie, you know, the billionaires,
00:58:49.660 which used to be millionaires.
00:58:51.080 But now that he's a multimillionaire with three houses,
00:58:53.460 which, by the way, like, it's so funny.
00:58:55.780 people like aoc has a nice tesla and a nice apartment people go like well you know they
00:58:59.740 live in this system or hassan piker has like you know a rolex or whatever it is which by the way
00:59:04.860 to me is like i don't know that's what's always funny about socialism like i just saw lula wearing
00:59:09.140 a ralph loren shirt what's the line like does someone say like no no it's old navy or less
00:59:15.060 you don't get to work like because that would be considered very luxurious to a lot of people
00:59:18.540 like you say well you can do that but you can't do armani so you can have ralph loren like they
00:59:22.480 can't actually give you a line it's just you have more than them and so they deserve to take it i
00:59:27.600 think it's i mean it's it's theft with a with a publicist that's all socialism is but bernie went
00:59:32.980 from the you know the the millionaires to the billionaires and he has three houses like that's
00:59:38.860 not one of those things where you go well he needs a car to get someplace like well he needs a summer 0.99
00:59:43.320 house okay what about the third one he's like fuck son of a summer summer house in my mind he's 0.98
00:59:50.220 gilbert godfrey but like what's the justice you don't need that and then we also look by the way 0.99
00:59:55.920 people selling you this shit sorry pardon my language but since i know you're probably going 0.91
00:59:59.780 to censor that anyway i don't mean censor edit it out uh we believe in free speech i know you 0.99
01:00:04.980 believe in free speech but you know gilbert godfrey yelling out you know i get it i would i would i
01:00:10.020 would cut it out for me too it's like they're the least charitable people on the planet so if you
01:00:15.380 want to know who gives most it's conservative christians we know that statistically the biggest
01:00:19.920 indicator as to what i know i keep banging the table the biggest indicator as to who is going
01:00:24.120 to give is are they a person of faith religious and uh do they vote right and there's a book i
01:00:29.920 think it was brooks who wrote who really cares we've cited it um people on the left don't because
01:00:36.060 it's their ebenezer scrooge before the redemption i used to get so mad as a kid i said back to
01:00:42.600 michael kane the best one was for muppets uh as a kid people go scrooge if you don't like christmas 0.92
01:00:47.860 I'd be like, piss off. 0.81
01:00:49.720 He was a man merrier than any other in the town. 0.97
01:00:53.720 Mankind became his business.
01:00:55.400 That's like the fifth gospel. 0.96
01:00:56.680 Like the story is he's redeemed.
01:00:59.020 But what does he say before that?
01:01:01.040 People often make it seem like he was rich
01:01:02.620 and then he was a socialist.
01:01:04.300 He says, are there no prisons?
01:01:05.260 Are there no poor houses?
01:01:06.420 My taxes go there, so they should make use of it.
01:01:08.980 And then once he's been visited by three spirits,
01:01:11.820 one of them sexually assaulted him, if you read it.
01:01:13.980 He is like, you know what?
01:01:15.300 No, it needs to be voluntary.
01:01:17.020 and that's a tenet of christianity is volunteerism to some degree so christians give more individually
01:01:23.500 uh socialists leftists don't that's why they demand it be taken by force it was the funniest
01:01:29.180 story bernie sanders there was an actual image of his tip like at starbucks and it was like exactly
01:01:35.740 one dollar and 32 cents meaning he rounded to exactly 18 percent on his latte because he's not
01:01:42.540 going to give a penny more but he's going to vote that you give it all british people watching this
01:01:46.540 are going, you tip for a coffee, you weirdos.
01:01:48.840 I know, that's one thing you guys get right.
01:01:50.520 Yeah. 1.00
01:01:52.380 The Brazilian driver, they completely, 1.00
01:01:53.940 here, everything is tip. 0.99
01:01:55.260 You not deliver, you not cook for me, 1.00
01:01:57.020 you just hand me the bag, it's bullshit. 1.00
01:01:59.120 Like, no one understands American tipping culture. 1.00
01:02:01.260 Yeah, it's true. 0.96
01:02:02.220 It's almost Arabic, actually.
01:02:03.620 It is. 0.97
01:02:04.360 I feel like I'm at a bazaar.
01:02:05.540 I feel like I have some barker trying to negotiate.
01:02:08.800 It's like, I'm not trying to negotiate
01:02:09.720 about my hot wings, get out of here.
01:02:11.260 But your point is actually interesting,
01:02:12.880 and I've thought about this quite a bit,
01:02:14.400 which is um there's a massive difference between voluntarily giving and thinking the government
01:02:23.840 should take from other people and give it away and and like in europe that version is considered the
01:02:31.680 that's that's empathy it's when you take from these people and you give to these people instead
01:02:36.480 of encouraging everyone to create and then to share with others what they think is the right
01:02:41.440 thing through like i i do that voluntarily my wife and i give money to charity because we want to do
01:02:47.600 that and we think it it's better for us and for the people whom we're helping to do that yeah but
01:02:54.160 this flip in mentality is actually a very interesting point it's also um it's also uh far
01:03:00.560 more effective i mean unless you're like bono where it's all virtue signal remember his one
01:03:04.640 charity remember it came out that i i think was quite literally less than one percent of every
01:03:08.800 Every dollar actually went to charity.
01:03:10.980 So that's the thing.
01:03:12.640 The left off, when we did the Live Aid concert,
01:03:15.160 turns out we basically funded a genocide and a warlord.
01:03:18.340 We're like, whoops.
01:03:19.440 Freddie Mercury sounded pretty good, though, 0.99
01:03:21.000 in his last AIDS days, didn't he? 1.00
01:03:22.820 So it's, yeah, it's one of those things.
01:03:24.920 The left, they view their charity as voting
01:03:28.520 to take from somebody else.
01:03:29.920 And that's another thing, going back to the right.
01:03:31.800 Like, I will tell you this.
01:03:32.820 There are a lot of accounts that have popped up. 0.93
01:03:35.360 And of course, a lot of them are in Bangladesh 1.00
01:03:36.740 or whatever other, you know, shithole country, 1.00
01:03:38.400 which we can say now because Trump did, and they are, 0.92
01:03:41.300 where they were like, you know what, though?
01:03:43.400 I don't think this is right.
01:03:44.900 Like, people shouldn't...
01:03:46.300 People should be allowed treats on Snap.
01:03:48.180 And we said, well, you're not getting, like, soda on Snap.
01:03:50.960 By the way, one of the biggest recipients
01:03:51.960 was, like, the Coca-Cola company.
01:03:54.060 They lobbied for Snap.
01:03:55.000 So you would think this would be this sort of...
01:03:57.620 this confluence of all these issues,
01:03:59.600 like, oh, big corporations, big soda companies,
01:04:02.080 and they're basically robbing from your pocket
01:04:04.800 to pay for a giant welfare state
01:04:06.160 so the people who don't work are getting Coca-Cola.
01:04:08.040 And then people on the right are like,
01:04:09.260 everyone deserves a treat.
01:04:10.160 It's like, well, okay, fine. 1.00
01:04:10.980 Pay for your own fucking treats. 1.00
01:04:12.440 Until then, it's government loaf. 1.00
01:04:14.500 That's what you get.
01:04:15.760 My view is the chronically poor.
01:04:18.360 And by the way, the Founding Fathers talked about this.
01:04:20.540 It's very important, I think, I think,
01:04:24.500 to delineate, you always have to say that,
01:04:25.640 to delineate between people who've had some tough breaks
01:04:27.540 and the Jimmy Braddox of the world, right?
01:04:29.400 Who then wins the championship
01:04:30.280 and hands back everything that he got
01:04:31.680 from the local public works office.
01:04:34.640 And people who were referred to as the, 0.93
01:04:37.140 I believe it was the vicious poor,
01:04:40.160 if you look at the Founding Fathers.
01:04:41.540 They talked about those who have no interest in working,
01:04:44.540 who have no interest in contributing,
01:04:46.360 who will sit with idle hands for the rest of their days
01:04:49.260 if given the chance,
01:04:50.360 and they will take from their fellow man.
01:04:52.040 They're like, we do not build an economic system
01:04:54.120 to support those people.
01:04:55.360 Those people will always be amongst you.
01:04:57.240 That's very different from people
01:04:58.840 who need some help every now and then.
01:05:01.280 The problem is the vicious poor in this country 1.00
01:05:03.540 have been welcomed as third-world immigrants. 1.00
01:05:05.880 And here's the thing. 0.97
01:05:06.400 If you want to talk about economic populism as it relates to a big welfare state,
01:05:11.380 okay, you can have a giant welfare state, or you can have open borders pick one.
01:05:17.200 That's just reality. 0.96
01:05:18.200 People go, well, everyone here is an immigrant. 1.00
01:05:20.820 Come on. 0.96
01:05:21.400 First off, are we acting like people coming from Ireland and England and Germany,
01:05:25.220 like they were from different planets?
01:05:26.240 They had shared common values in a lot of ways.
01:05:30.200 In most ways, religion.
01:05:31.400 You know, they would learn English when they came here. 0.99
01:05:32.840 But they came here with a promise of nothing more than whatever it was,
01:05:35.660 a few coins in their pocket. That's very different from people coming here and immediately benefiting
01:05:40.300 from our public systems more than Americans who work and pay taxes. You have to pick one. 0.87
01:05:44.680 The left will never address that issue. They will never address it.
01:05:47.980 They used to address it. The left, well, I'm talking about the UK, used to actually be quite
01:05:53.900 protectionist. On immigration? On immigration. Like Bernie. Bernie was the same. That's just
01:05:59.020 because English people are racist. That was a right. That's a little too brown in this neck 1.00
01:06:04.160 of the woods do you say neck of the woods there i don't know yeah we do say neck of the woods
01:06:07.380 really yeah okay i thought al roker was the one who patented that no but he also has like no neck
01:06:11.880 fat black guy in the united states are you familiar with al roker no national treasure 0.98
01:06:17.300 shit his pants at the white house there we go apparently it's very fun but we don't understand 1.00
01:06:22.520 that reference your boys are enjoying it yeah yeah that's the main thing he told the story 0.99
01:06:26.100 he told the story on air he's like i pooped my pants at the white house and he taught and like
01:06:30.080 he told it and it didn't get the reaction that he expected like i think he thought be like
01:06:33.160 You pooped your pants at the White House
01:06:35.420 But the reaction was like
01:06:36.540 Hey we've all been there
01:06:39.200 As in we made a joke
01:06:41.260 We now know you've been there
01:06:43.440 No we have been to the White House
01:06:45.120 But we haven't pooped our pants
01:06:46.820 Oh I've never been to the White House
01:06:48.020 And I've never pooped my pants
01:06:49.660 So I guess that makes me better than you
01:06:52.140 On those two categories
01:06:55.100 On those two categories
01:06:56.100 So you were at the centre of
01:06:58.240 A breaking story
01:06:59.940 It was about Brazil
01:07:00.740 Tell us what happened
01:07:01.640 Brazil
01:07:02.360 Brasil.
01:07:03.360 Brasil.
01:07:04.360 Brasil.
01:07:05.360 Brasil.
01:07:06.360 Brasil.
01:07:07.360 Brasil.
01:07:08.360 Brasil.
01:07:09.360 Well, it was one of those things.
01:07:10.360 So I have a lot of Brazilian fans.
01:07:11.360 I think part of it is because I appeared on Rogan when a lot of the fans there early on
01:07:13.920 were fight fans.
01:07:14.920 And then I've done Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for a long time. 0.96
01:07:17.100 My woman is Brazilian.
01:07:18.240 I talk about it.
01:07:20.180 So I had Eduardo Bolsonaro, who's the brother of Flávia Bolsonaro, on the show.
01:07:24.300 Then the election happened.
01:07:25.600 I don't know if you believe that it was clean.
01:07:27.600 I don't.
01:07:28.600 It's South American politics.
01:07:29.600 It's not going to be clean.
01:07:30.600 Yeah.
01:07:31.600 then like the probability to me is it's not completely impossible but very very unlikely
01:07:36.320 that again i also questioned the 2020 results which resulted in us being banned or suspended
01:07:40.640 on youtube for a while so then bolsonaro seven hours after losing the election that uh judge
01:07:50.400 steps in maria's who may be the most corrupt man uh in our hemisphere uh seizing or freezing i
01:07:55.920 I believe, his passports, that he can't leave. 0.53
01:07:58.960 And the basis for it was something that his brother said
01:08:02.620 on my show the Friday before it.
01:08:05.060 And all he said was, like, I mean, you can go and watch.
01:08:07.740 He was on the show.
01:08:08.300 He's like, Lula, say in the debate,
01:08:09.920 and when you don't win, you lose your immunity.
01:08:12.360 I'm coming for you and your family.
01:08:14.760 I would personally like for my brother to leave,
01:08:17.720 to come to the United States,
01:08:19.240 because Lula said what he was gonna do.
01:08:22.260 He even said, I, like, my opinion,
01:08:24.880 because he's a brother and uh that's exactly what happened halfway through that i thought you're
01:08:29.440 gonna do a sylvester stallone impression uh no so uh yeah and i'm sitting there and i i get a
01:08:38.640 text i think it was like did you see what happened i'm like what they go oh he sees
01:08:42.400 flavio's passport i go oh why they go well because of what his brother said so what did he say he's 0.93
01:08:48.480 like you dumb shit he said it on your show i'm like oh what he said on my really where he said 0.99
01:08:52.460 I personally would like to see him not stay. 1.00
01:08:55.660 That's...
01:08:56.220 And then, again, tie that back.
01:08:58.360 Every single mainstream democratic socialist
01:09:01.180 and a lot of moderates praising it.
01:09:03.340 I haven't heard a peep
01:09:04.200 of jailing your political opponents.
01:09:06.940 I haven't heard a peep
01:09:08.100 about the political persecution.
01:09:10.620 It'll be interesting to watch
01:09:11.420 because we're recording this
01:09:12.480 right after that's happened,
01:09:13.780 but this will go out
01:09:14.740 probably on November 4th.
01:09:16.340 So by this point,
01:09:18.420 maybe one leftist has anticipated this
01:09:20.520 and has come out.
01:09:21.440 Maybe.
01:09:21.960 And jumped in front of you.
01:09:22.720 I doubt it.
01:09:24.000 Well, let's find out.
01:09:24.920 I mean it.
01:09:25.340 I really doubt it.
01:09:26.100 Let's find out.
01:09:26.640 You know why? 1.00
01:09:27.140 Not because the left is stupid. 1.00
01:09:30.020 This is one thing in, you know, having debated there at Fox News when I was young and appearing 1.00
01:09:35.940 on HLN, BBC, quite a bit, Sky News, all of that.
01:09:40.220 And then there was no, like, sit down and have a conversation.
01:09:44.060 The term prompt wasn't used before I did change my mind.
01:09:46.480 Like, that's what started all that.
01:09:48.380 And anyone can come up and talk.
01:09:50.580 um i've noticed that and this is a consistent pattern you'll find exceptions but this is the
01:09:57.520 pattern that's uh the left is they very readily attribute intent evil intent to the right
01:10:05.840 and they are not able to steal man the right whereas the right they are far more charitable
01:10:14.920 as far as intent i think they need to be less charitable certainly in this day and age uh
01:10:19.680 but they are able to steel man the left that's a big difference that i see like that debate that i
01:10:24.780 had at harvard i mean only took finally offering ten thousand dollars to the ivy league schools
01:10:28.640 because people say well why don't you make someone qualified well okay send me someone
01:10:31.820 we had someone who's been tenured since 1989 and i was finishing his phrases now i'm not like i said
01:10:39.160 i'm not the sharpest sharpest tool in the shed but why was i able to with a professor who's from
01:10:45.100 He studied at Princeton, Yale, Oxford, clerked for Thurgood Marshall, wrote books on DEI
01:10:52.080 and affirmative action, and he's talked about freedom of speech on campus.
01:10:55.000 He's had debates with other professors.
01:10:57.060 And you can go back and watch, and as he goes on to make his point about affirmative action,
01:11:01.200 he's going, and so long as it's not, and I go, invidious, and it's this form of disgrace.
01:11:05.680 Okay, so long as it's not, I'm finishing his phrases for him.
01:11:08.800 And he goes, yes, yes.
01:11:10.720 And he didn't even reroute because he had no plan B.
01:11:13.420 he had never encountered the arguments that i presented this is the hallowed halls of harvard 1.00
01:11:19.040 if you were to ask someone on the right today generally you'll get stupid people on both sides 0.97
01:11:23.740 but if you were to ask someone on the right okay uh what are you pro second amendment and they say 0.99
01:11:28.520 yeah what would the argument against that be from the left they most of them would tell you they
01:11:33.240 probably say you know if it saves one life they probably would say you're more likely to have a
01:11:36.400 gun used against you that was written during a time of muskets they'll be able to give you the
01:11:39.580 arguments if you ask someone on the left yet what is the person who is pro-gun what they'll go that's 0.70
01:11:45.500 just because they're a gun-toting redneck very often if you were to ask someone on the right
01:11:49.780 and i've done this because i've sat down with at this point many hundreds of them say okay are you 0.65
01:11:54.480 pro yeah i'm pro-life why well because i believe that life starts at fertilization and you know
01:11:58.180 it's separate genetic code dna from the mother okay what do you think the pro-choice side says
01:12:03.840 well they would probably say it's her body it's her choice you know and it's some form of oppression
01:12:08.160 okay what would they say about freedom of speech you can ask them they'll go well they'll probably
01:12:12.240 say hate speech and stuff what would they say about socialism and people don't go well they'll
01:12:15.700 probably ask about roads and fire departments if you ask people on the left they won't present to
01:12:20.840 you a valid form of the right-leaning argument they're not interested in it so yes we do have
01:12:26.740 silos but only one side has a violently aggressive echo chamber that prevents people from stepping
01:12:32.700 out of it and i would ask you to even because you'll have a big sample size do that just ask
01:12:37.820 especially average people who maybe aren't necessarily political,
01:12:40.700 ask them to steel man their opposition.
01:12:42.960 I would say it's a ratio of about 10 to 1.
01:12:44.980 People on the right can do it.
01:12:46.700 And then they're far more charitable of intent to the left.
01:12:49.400 The left thinks that people on the right are evil.
01:12:51.540 They support violence, political violence, more than people on the right.
01:12:54.920 We all watched what happened with Charlie Kirk,
01:12:56.680 and that's not the only one.
01:12:57.560 It's the one that you saw get through.
01:13:00.520 That's been my experience.
01:13:01.640 So I don't think.
01:13:02.740 Why do you think that is?
01:13:03.820 well i know why it is for uh the generation like millennials so and this is when i wrote the book
01:13:12.080 uh that was called something else because the term sjw wasn't even a thing yet and woke wasn't
01:13:17.000 a thing yet and it was turned down from every major conservative publisher it was basically
01:13:21.120 changed my mind uh but with chapters on it is uh let's say a millennial person born you know i was
01:13:28.580 born in 87 say someone born somewhere between 85 and early 90s lives the average american
01:13:33.760 life they go to public school they turn on mtv network news right the bands they listen to
01:13:41.520 they go to university if they come out of that conservative they have had to defend their view
01:13:47.240 every single day of their life there are no exceptions the leftist the liberal from my
01:13:53.120 generation would accept everything by default and that's why i think it's very important to
01:13:57.040 delineate between those who've accepted the default cultural position and those who are
01:14:01.320 the manipulators, right, the propagandists of said positions. So it's impossible to go through life,
01:14:06.380 and I would say this probably with most generations, it's impossible to go through life
01:14:09.380 as a young person and be right-leaning or conservative and not have to think about why
01:14:15.880 because you have to defend it. The left never does. So the left, they never actually have to
01:14:20.300 grow out of that 14-year-old girl going, save the whales, do you want to sign it? That's just,
01:14:25.500 give them a seat and you've got AOC. Remember the Green New Deal? It was 11 pages, and it was like, 0.83
01:14:30.000 and cookies and it was everything there it's just like and by the way equity for the whole
01:14:34.240 economy like what the how do you just put this all in there i thought this was about fossil fuels
01:14:38.400 so that's why people on the right have had to defend their view may change now with the
01:14:42.000 fragmenting of media um well actually it's interesting so i was going to agree with you
01:14:47.360 there and in fact i think in in large parts that's why the wealth the left is so culturally dominant
01:14:52.880 because the right has to argue for its ideas the left just imposes them through the education
01:14:58.800 system and all the rest of it to the point where people think that's the default position
01:15:03.000 and actually it's interesting so people like us who don't really identify as either left or right
01:15:07.760 particularly oh stop it go on stop no i don't want to go on i just wanted to say stop it okay
01:15:13.120 fine um then the moment you stray from nazi correct right point is to the left you might
01:15:19.220 as well be you acknowledge that right to the left they would say right but but i reject their right 0.97
01:15:23.080 to define my politics i know but they would i don't give a fuck about them but here's my point 0.86
01:15:27.420 I agree with you.
01:15:28.220 You're not necessarily right or left, okay?
01:15:30.000 Do you think that someone on the left
01:15:31.520 would agree with your statement?
01:15:32.780 They would say, come on, you're right-wing.
01:15:34.100 No, of course they don't.
01:15:35.460 Of course they don't agree with me.
01:15:36.280 Of course.
01:15:36.940 And by the way, a lot of people on the right don't either
01:15:38.820 because they want to co-opt us to right-wing.
01:15:40.820 And, you know, that's flattering in some ways, whatever.
01:15:43.160 But my point was that if you say to a right-leaning person,
01:15:47.460 well, actually, I disagree with you about this and this and this,
01:15:49.700 they go, oh, that's fair enough,
01:15:50.600 but I'm glad we agree on X, Y, Z, right?
01:15:53.380 If you say to a left-wing person, like,
01:15:55.100 well, I kind of think this is true and this is true, 0.96
01:15:57.160 but I don't agree with you, then Nazi is what you get. 0.88
01:15:59.960 Right. 0.94
01:16:00.180 That's your point.
01:16:00.960 Yeah.
01:16:01.160 But you talk about the fragmentation of the media.
01:16:03.680 I mean, one of the things that I have to say
01:16:07.860 has been mind-boggling to me,
01:16:09.380 and I think this happened particularly
01:16:11.500 after the murder of Charlie Kirk.
01:16:12.900 It went into, like, complete overdrive,
01:16:15.400 is, like, I genuinely don't understand, like,
01:16:19.420 the ritardosphere that's been created
01:16:21.560 on some commentators on the right in the new media space.
01:16:25.160 The Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson phenomenon.
01:16:27.420 Oh, okay.
01:16:27.740 I was going to say, this is interesting
01:16:28.460 because, like, you have the...
01:16:29.680 I love how you have this sort of formal lighting
01:16:31.840 and you have what I call the Protestant church backdrop. 0.65
01:16:35.280 Every Protestant church, like,
01:16:36.700 God wants me to be happy.
01:16:37.820 This is in the background.
01:16:39.060 But we have that,
01:16:40.300 but we can also combine it with new media, 0.94
01:16:42.200 like, hmm, explain retardosphere. 0.97
01:16:44.280 Yeah. 1.00
01:16:45.200 Well, I just did.
01:16:46.420 You just gave me a few names.
01:16:47.520 Yeah, but of what people are doing.
01:16:49.660 Coming up with these crazy ideas
01:16:51.420 that have no bearing on reality.
01:16:52.920 Winston Churchill is the greatest villain in World War II.
01:16:55.160 you know charlie kirk's wife killed him or he killed himself or the yeah you know 0.75
01:17:00.280 british macron who's a man killed like what is that israel was behind the uh was behind venezuela
01:17:07.340 and taking maduro i thought that was a french legion it's both it's both it depends but they
01:17:13.220 were transported by the egyptian but it's like and entertainment i get and alex jones was perhaps
01:17:19.320 someone who was doing this kind of stuff for a long time but it just seems to be like more of it
01:17:23.480 But what's weird to me is...
01:17:24.560 Yeah, but Alex Jones actually did believe what he said,
01:17:27.440 and Alex Jones was right on a lot more than these people are.
01:17:30.300 He was wrong on some, but Alex Jones was very...
01:17:32.940 Like, Alex Jones, when he said, like,
01:17:34.960 you know, we went to Guatemala and South America,
01:17:36.540 and we knew that they had syphilis, gonorrhea, 0.99
01:17:38.660 and we just let them get infected. 1.00
01:17:39.900 Like, we just let them have boils all over their balls. 0.99
01:17:42.180 And then you're like, oh, Hillary Clinton apologized for it, 0.99
01:17:44.440 where we basically allowed disease to spread. 0.98
01:17:45.800 And the frogs were turning gay as well. 0.98
01:17:47.860 They were turning, at the very least, asexual. 0.99
01:17:49.880 Asexual. 0.85
01:17:50.400 Yeah.
01:17:51.060 Yeah.
01:17:51.240 Yeah. So he was, so my point is like, there's something there.
01:17:54.880 But I, I, I came to the Alex Jones phenomenon quite late, by which point a lot of it was pretty wacky, but I just looked at that and went, okay, that's what Alex Jones does. So I therefore know what to make of that.
01:18:05.160 But if Alex Jones was like the number one anchor on Fox News, and then like two years later, he's this, then I'd have questions.
01:18:13.920 Yeah. Um, and this is why I said, I think the anchor, it has to be truth. It has to be truth.
01:18:19.980 And we have a process for determining truth.
01:18:22.960 Notice that the only institutions at the left they want to do away with
01:18:26.440 are any of the processes or institutions that may determine truth.
01:18:30.760 So, for example, like the justice system.
01:18:32.720 They just say, well, actually, it's completely unjust, 0.99
01:18:34.580 and they insert some bullshit statistic here. 0.97
01:18:37.720 You know, the same principle applies to innocent until proven guilty. 0.98
01:18:40.860 If you look at math, or you look at, for example,
01:18:44.640 teaching logic and reason in classical Greek fashion,
01:18:47.660 they say that's white privilege and they demand that those courses be changed, right? So the
01:18:51.620 mechanisms that you need to decipher, to give you discernment, which I think is very important,
01:18:56.400 that's what all wisdom is, is discernment, the left seeks to destroy. So when you say that,
01:19:01.620 so many like broad strokes, but I apply the same standard to that as I do to myself and I do to
01:19:07.180 anything else. Okay, well, what is the evidence? That's what we need. Okay, what is the, if you're
01:19:12.540 making a claim, you're asserting this, what is the evidence? And for everything that you just
01:19:16.040 mentioned the answer is none there are assertions there is no evidence that's why i'm asking why is 1.00
01:19:21.120 that happening because because bitches be crazy let's be honest it's a bunch of true crime silly 0.95
01:19:26.680 bitches the same people who believe that lindsey clancy's husband did it even though that man was 1.00
01:19:31.040 a saint by the way they're the same people who believe that erica kirk is part of some kind of 0.97
01:19:36.920 underground satanic cabal and they have the same amount of evidence for both of them it's not the
01:19:41.520 conservative audience. It's not the right-wing audience. It's a bunch of people who are just
01:19:45.960 looking for a reason to stir up shit. There is zero evidence, none whatsoever, that Lindsay 0.99
01:19:51.600 Clancy's husband did anything other than take parental leave, work from home, hire a nanny,
01:19:58.620 fire a nanny when she didn't want the nanny, and go pick up dinner and a prescription for her or
01:20:04.080 the children while she plotted to murder the children. His greatest sin is that he moved on. 0.92
01:20:09.820 Now, people say that's too fast to move on.
01:20:12.280 I don't know. 1.00
01:20:12.680 I'd move on pretty fucking quickly if a lady killed my kids, right? 1.00
01:20:15.460 That would be in my rearview mirror. 1.00
01:20:16.820 Same thing.
01:20:17.400 There is zero evidence whatsoever to many of these baseless kids.
01:20:21.900 Pick one.
01:20:22.720 Hey, if there's evidence for it, great.
01:20:25.180 But there's some, here's the thing.
01:20:26.480 Some people have no interest in it.
01:20:27.740 Like, they'll go, you know, 30-06, it always, no, no, that's just not true.
01:20:33.740 It's not true.
01:20:34.660 It depends where the shot was taken.
01:20:36.120 Depends on the kind of bullet.
01:20:38.220 It depends where it hits.
01:20:39.560 Now, you can say it's unlikely that a .30-06 would react this way,
01:20:44.660 but my uncle has taken deer many years with a .30-06,
01:20:46.980 and it doesn't have an exit wound.
01:20:48.680 Bullets do weird things.
01:20:49.980 That is not a...
01:20:50.740 You know who else got taken out by a .30-06
01:20:52.600 and didn't have an exit wound?
01:20:54.620 Martin Luther King Jr.
01:20:56.160 Another one that went through here, 0.63
01:20:57.400 and then it hit his clavicle.
01:20:58.160 Just can we just stop?
01:20:59.080 Because he said that it should basically vaporize them
01:21:01.080 like a Ridley Scott film.
01:21:02.640 So this is where...
01:21:03.460 Then we move on to another one,
01:21:04.900 whether what, the Egyptian plane thing,
01:21:06.580 the French Legion.
01:21:07.220 And people don't apply the same filter or the same process.
01:21:11.000 You do need to apply that equally.
01:21:13.040 Now, my lens, obviously, of the world is more conservative, Christian conservative.
01:21:17.420 I acknowledge that.
01:21:18.580 But I need to recognize if I have a blind spot.
01:21:21.460 So I always try and look into something, and I always try and steel man the opposition.
01:21:26.640 I have tried to do it with these conspiracies.
01:21:28.700 There really is nothing there.
01:21:30.520 There is nothing there. 0.87
01:21:31.580 And if you look at the audience base, it's usually, um, it's, it leans very heavily female and people who are into true crime. That's a big part of it to act like this is the same overlap of a huge percentage of Trump voters. It's just, it's just not.
01:21:45.600 that's actually a good explanation and i think this is where i said uh you know if somebody who
01:21:51.960 was doing serious stuff then pivots into this that's perhaps the confusion right do you see
01:21:56.060 what i'm saying uh because it if someone is doing true crime where you go i don't know this is kind
01:22:01.900 of entertaining to watch who knows what's true blah blah blah but if it's sort of presented as
01:22:07.340 a truth claim by someone who used to make truth claims that used to be true that's the point at
01:22:12.920 But they haven't, though.
01:22:14.460 Yeah.
01:22:15.180 Tell me more.
01:22:16.560 Which people have made truth claims that happen to be true. 0.98
01:22:18.720 I thought Candace Owens was absolutely fantastic 1.00
01:22:21.460 at regurgitating Thomas Sowell talking points 1.00
01:22:24.480 about the BLM and all that kind of thing.
01:22:27.440 She was very good at selling that to a different audience.
01:22:31.440 I disagree.
01:22:35.440 That's all.
01:22:36.120 I disagree.
01:22:37.080 He disagrees.
01:22:37.620 He disagrees.
01:22:38.140 I disagree.
01:22:38.660 I think you could go watch her interview with Joe Rogan
01:22:40.440 a very long time ago.
01:22:41.140 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:22:42.020 There's a reason that he didn't have her back.
01:22:43.180 Yeah.
01:22:44.500 But, and obviously people know she was a lifelong liberal
01:22:46.740 and she sued with the NAACP
01:22:48.100 and she created social autopsy to dox conservatives.
01:22:50.660 I'm sure you're familiar with all of this.
01:22:52.980 And yeah, so the only consistent through line
01:22:55.820 with all the people you've mentioned
01:22:56.920 is that they've been remarkably inconsistent.
01:22:58.880 And it would be fine.
01:22:59.580 I know that people can be left, see the light,
01:23:01.940 and go to the right.
01:23:02.460 But when someone goes left wing, right wing,
01:23:04.500 left wing, right wing,
01:23:05.760 they go, yeah, but none of this is something
01:23:07.000 that's really like falsifiable, verifiable.
01:23:09.940 You just have to, at a certain point,
01:23:11.540 ignore it as white noise until you get to evidence. So that's why I say the through line
01:23:15.620 has to be truth. And it's not just them, by the way. I talked about this. There are very few people
01:23:19.880 I dislike more in the entertainment industry than Alan Richson, the Jack Reacher guy.
01:23:26.340 Sorry, my stomach's growling, so I'll probably go grab something to eat a little bit.
01:23:29.400 And it's not because I know him personally. I dislike him even though I don't know him personally.
01:23:35.800 Because first off, he goes out and he tells Christians that they can't vote for Trump. 0.57
01:23:39.760 And I don't know if he was like, the Epstein list? 1.00
01:23:41.620 You know, the Epstein list, I would have that shit on lock. 1.00
01:23:43.780 I'd be like, bitch, get out of the way. 1.00
01:23:45.240 And he's just so delusional. 0.99
01:23:46.980 And he also said he gained 30 pounds of muscle at 40
01:23:50.060 completely naturally in six months,
01:23:51.660 which I don't know if it has happened zero times in human history.
01:23:54.220 So that.
01:23:55.240 So my point is I really don't like him 1.00
01:23:56.460 because he acts like a stud, but he lives like a bitch. 1.00
01:24:02.160 But then there was this article we did a whole segment on. 1.00
01:24:04.840 It has like a million plays, I think,
01:24:06.220 where there was this article, Alan Richson,
01:24:08.100 teary-eyed talks about finding out that his son or daughter was not his with a paternity test
01:24:14.720 and i will tell you it happened and i said like a quiet prayer because you're supposed to pray for
01:24:18.480 people you don't like i just like like no one should have to go through that it's completely
01:24:22.980 made up it's completely made up and the reason that i thought well this must be true is because
01:24:26.880 it says in this clip and it's a clip of alan richmond you know talking in those t-shirts
01:24:31.060 that are like always cut out like here like they can't fit their head through it i don't know why
01:24:34.300 That's all he wears. And he's talking about some show that he worked on. It's zero to do with his
01:24:39.920 divorce, zero to do with a paternity test, and it has like two million in reach. And then you have
01:24:44.540 the same thing with Tom Cruise cutting off his kids from his will. And these things just go up,
01:24:49.340 go up, go up, and they are completely fabricated. So there is a huge cottage industry right now.
01:24:55.180 And the tough thing is, as someone who the one kind of claim that I can make
01:25:00.340 is that I've been here the longest.
01:25:02.900 I've been in this space the longest.
01:25:04.620 There were no conservatives on YouTube.
01:25:06.200 You can go back and see me with a blue bed sheet
01:25:07.980 and a digital eight camcorder.
01:25:11.060 And it used to be the internet was a place
01:25:13.460 where we could sort of bypass the gatekeepers.
01:25:16.400 I used to watch Joe Rogan in his very first shows.
01:25:18.400 It was, you know, webcam in his den.
01:25:19.640 He's like, yeah, we don't...
01:25:20.460 I watched him when he was on Tom Green Live,
01:25:22.280 which was a show in his living room.
01:25:24.380 And Joe Rogan was like, this is the future.
01:25:25.660 You could see the wheels turning
01:25:26.880 where he was inspired by it.
01:25:28.120 and saying, hey, we don't need, you know, these people,
01:25:30.740 we don't need to have a big, expensive studio, right?
01:25:33.120 So the idea was, hey, we can reach people directly
01:25:35.520 without the agents, without the managers.
01:25:37.180 And we know that legacy media feeds slop and dishonesty.
01:25:41.300 So that was kind of the first wave, right?
01:25:43.520 And we were still figuring it out
01:25:44.640 as far as making it professional,
01:25:46.140 but not making it too slick.
01:25:48.140 And then something changed.
01:25:49.580 At the same time that the legacy media realized,
01:25:53.000 okay, cable news isn't the thing,
01:25:54.360 so they just dump a bunch of advertising dollars
01:25:56.220 into youtube so they get favorable algorithmic treatment people online just say you know what
01:26:01.820 i just make stuff up because the truth here's where we went the legacy media i think we both
01:26:07.260 agree cnn abc nbc cbs right pretty dishonest a lot of lies the truth was more interesting than
01:26:14.760 the lies it was novel it was like actually what you were told isn't really true and like you
01:26:18.840 mentioned thomas soul right like you mentioned talking about socialism some of my early videos
01:26:22.180 the second amendment things like that okay so that gained traction and now we're at the point
01:26:26.740 where here's the truth that people have been used to well that's kind of old hat and the lies are
01:26:30.980 more interesting than the truth jack reacher paternity test wife cheated on him with a black
01:26:35.540 guy i added that but the point is you know they just have to make it as salacious as possible
01:26:39.220 and that's a huge industry at this point so that's something where we're going to have to deal with
01:26:45.300 and people are going to need to have tools to be more discerning but we went from the truth more
01:26:49.860 interesting than the lie and now the lie is more interesting than the truth well how do you compete
01:26:54.900 with a lie right you compete with a lie that someone makes it up you go like in other words
01:26:59.060 i go hey no one ever in the history of the world has gained 40 pounds or 30 pounds of muscle in
01:27:03.380 six months it's not possible so someone's saying that like that's a story you can talk about it
01:27:07.140 you can show some studies and go this is what you expect okay that's pretty interesting it's not as
01:27:10.820 interesting as alan richton gang banging at a sex club but that's not true but that'll get more
01:27:15.620 clicks. And if you apply that to, you know, the other folks that you mentioned, people in the
01:27:21.260 media sphere, like it's not as though this is something that we don't all see. And, you know,
01:27:26.700 community notes aren't cutting it because people see it. They go, well, why would someone lie?
01:27:30.020 They have a quote attributed to this clip. So clearly it's in the clip. And you click the clip
01:27:34.120 and it has nothing to do with it. Well, there's two other things as well, which is number one,
01:27:37.860 the mainstream has destroyed fact checking as a thing, because like we have BBC Verify in the UK,
01:27:43.840 that like tells you whether a claim is and you're like well they keep lying into that number one
01:27:49.120 the other thing is is that what jubilee copied with their fact check i don't like fact check
01:27:54.160 men are bad okay um and the other thing is actually responding to this stuff amplifies it
01:28:01.680 which is what these people use to get more attention for the same yeah as well so it's a
01:28:05.520 it's a challenging one to solve it is i mean we do have rules for libel slander like i don't
01:28:10.720 Well, again, I think people are grown-ups.
01:28:13.660 Yeah.
01:28:14.500 Some people.
01:28:16.300 Yeah, myself not included.
01:28:17.900 But I think people can delineate between, for example,
01:28:21.240 doctors who are currently practicing during COVID,
01:28:23.580 saying we're seeing promise with ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine,
01:28:26.900 you know, combined with zinc,
01:28:27.760 and we're seeing patient outcomes better,
01:28:29.980 and they give you a sample size of thousands of people.
01:28:31.840 I think people can see the difference between that
01:28:33.360 being removed at the behest of the government
01:28:35.000 and someone, you know, just saying,
01:28:37.600 hey, Johnny Depp is turning into a woman.
01:28:40.720 where you can go, well, that shouldn't be allowed. 0.91
01:28:43.840 Not censoring speech, but if something is verifiably,
01:28:47.280 immediately verifiably untrue,
01:28:50.480 okay, if YouTube can algorithmically suppress people
01:28:54.240 who aren't monetized, you mean to tell me
01:28:56.340 that someone is making something up knowingly
01:28:58.720 and they have a pattern of doing it,
01:29:00.000 those accounts shouldn't be there?
01:29:01.260 That's not anti-free speech at all.
01:29:03.800 And I'm a free speech absolutist.
01:29:05.200 People say, you can't yell fire in a crowded theater.
01:29:06.600 Well, sure you can. Of course you can.
01:29:08.480 There's a fire where you think there's a fire.
01:29:10.720 you can't yell fire to cause a stampede people don't even understand that case that that
01:29:14.720 statement's often based on but even before we get to that it's like people need to do a better job
01:29:19.600 themselves and i have a few things that i advise people if you watch someone and they don't provide
01:29:24.320 references on a regular basis for factual claims that they make uh you should probably move on to
01:29:29.440 someone else i think that needs to be a standard we've been doing it for years it's a bibliography
01:29:33.440 every single show we have an admonish button for us in show if we get something wrong um
01:29:38.640 Um, and if people don't have some, I know you guys had the fact check that you said,
01:29:42.320 uh, if people don't even attempt that, you can't trust them. And then I think we,
01:29:47.180 people need to be more, more discerning. Um, we're in an era where this is really scary.
01:29:51.500 I definitely think for young people where everything's a short and a short and a short,
01:29:55.260 not only attention spans, are they shorter, but you have people who I don't even know if
01:29:59.500 they assume everything they read is true. I think they just don't care.
01:30:04.380 That's such a good point because what this is for those people is entertainment. Like you
01:30:08.340 talk to them i know some of these people i go why do you listen to candace and they go yeah but
01:30:12.520 she's really entertaining and it's fun and you go well at that point what are you actually getting
01:30:19.620 from it are you just getting a soap opera yeah or are you getting somebody else who's trying to
01:30:25.160 educate you but the thing is there is nothing wrong with a soap opera as long as everyone
01:30:28.980 involved knows it's a soap opera yeah the issue i have with it is it's truth claims
01:30:33.140 Is soap opera presented as truthfully
01:30:35.960 Also I think that Mexican soap operas 1.00
01:30:37.860 Need to label it they're Mexican 1.00
01:30:38.920 Because everyone just looks like white people 1.00
01:30:40.720 That is a very very good joke 1.00
01:30:44.060 That goes back 20 years in my memory 1.00
01:30:46.420 I haven't seen a Mexican soap opera
01:30:48.020 For at least 20 years 1.00
01:30:48.880 Yeah they just look like white 1.00
01:30:51.300 It looks like you two 1.00
01:30:52.420 Yeah but that's the thing
01:30:55.400 It doesn't matter the age of a person
01:30:58.260 If they're from Latin America 1.00
01:30:59.400 They will watch that shit 1.00
01:31:00.640 And it is shit 1.00
01:31:01.780 it is the worst acting you have ever seen in your life oh my gosh i mean i can do that 0.99
01:31:07.200 canadian acting can be pretty bad it's funny because the talents that come to the states
01:31:11.040 are great and in comedy they're disproportionately represented but like if you watch canadian tv
01:31:15.220 let alone french canadian tv you have some standouts it's the worst most obvious sense 0.57
01:31:20.200 of humor like you know someone like a funny tie and a paper mache hat or some shit you're like 1.00
01:31:23.780 this but they're french they can't do yeah no i know but canadian acting is very over the top 0.94
01:31:29.020 But yeah, it should come with a warning
01:31:30.220 because I don't know if I'm watching a Mexican soap opera 1.00
01:31:31.920 or any other soap opera because they all look white. 0.97
01:31:33.860 So Canadians are white Mexicans is what you're saying? 0.98
01:31:35.920 Yeah, effectively. 1.00
01:31:36.820 Only they're more of a national security threat.
01:31:38.320 Yeah, but the food isn't as good.
01:31:39.900 In Canada?
01:31:40.640 Yeah.
01:31:41.600 Do you have any food in Canada?
01:31:42.600 No, I don't.
01:31:43.240 They've got poutine.
01:31:44.020 It's just chips and gravy.
01:31:45.180 Oh, stop it.
01:31:45.920 You guys, you're from the place with the worst food on earth.
01:31:48.480 Hey, listen.
01:31:48.820 No, we do a great curry.
01:31:50.640 No, no, no, no.
01:31:51.220 We do a great curry.
01:31:51.860 This is my area of expertise, right?
01:31:54.440 You're going to tell me about a great curry?
01:31:55.600 No, no, no, no.
01:31:56.680 We have the best desserts in the world.
01:31:59.900 That's factually correct.
01:32:01.320 Let me guess.
01:32:01.860 A pastry, put some cream in it.
01:32:02.860 In my clothes. 1.00
01:32:03.940 In my fucking clothes. 1.00
01:32:04.840 Listen, we're in Texas. 1.00
01:32:05.660 It's sticky toffee pudding. 1.00
01:32:06.920 There's a gun over there, and I'm going to shoot you. 1.00
01:32:09.420 On that happy note. 1.00
01:32:10.380 First off, I don't know if he's allowed to have a gun,
01:32:12.040 because you're not, this is not, but you know what?
01:32:13.960 I accept it.
01:32:14.620 Fine.
01:32:15.660 We actually have the best food in Montreal.
01:32:17.360 A lot of people don't realize Montreal,
01:32:18.540 that's the one silver lining there, 1.00
01:32:20.900 is the multiculturalism of what an awful place it is. 1.00
01:32:23.700 Like, bagels came through Montreal before New York. 1.00
01:32:25.580 People don't realize that.
01:32:26.340 yeah yeah well on that happy note steven great to have you on the show that's it that's it
01:32:31.140 unless you got more i thought you'd do the whole thing where you do uh like the speed i mean i
01:32:35.380 always have more we do the speed the speed yeah yeah well this guy i thought he just took a bump
01:32:41.140 when he was just like no no again on desserts that's just ad on desserts uh i always thought
01:32:46.980 you guys do like a what is it speed round and no we do uh what what's the one thing we're not
01:32:51.540 talking about which we're about to do and then we go to triggerpod.co.uk for people's questions
01:32:55.860 oh okay okay right well i will let me leave it before you get one warning oh go on oh yeah you
01:33:01.380 wanted to give us the mug oh yeah that's right i did give you the mug just because you know look
01:33:05.620 your mugs are nice but i mean if you don't start with the my mug is no no take that back and then
01:33:10.420 because you have to compare it like weight and this is hand etched and like this is what kept
01:33:14.100 us afloat when we were demonetized and canceled that's heavy yeah and it's hand etched one one
01:33:19.220 side though they couldn't afford to have the other side aged but no actually that's the classic one 0.79
01:33:22.660 that didn't have both sides so i gave you something vintage and you shit all over it but thanks 0.55
01:33:26.100 now we're grateful but you started a bit of a row and we got it yeah it's not a row it was just 0.99
01:33:30.820 offensive what does row mean a row yeah it's where you say sister is it we it's our fucking 0.98
01:33:37.460 language yeah well fine you get defensive about desserts yeah but you grew up speaking french 0.97
01:33:43.940 yeah i didn't well first off i grew up in detroit which also isn't america yeah yeah but
01:33:48.660 and they don't speak english yes oh w yes around like a fight is that an expression that we use
01:33:55.140 in the states row it's row oh okay i get it now row as no that's that's that's that's that
01:34:04.260 it's they caused a row see you know what i'm glad you had a revolution anyway yeah
01:34:10.660 i'm glad that we got away yeah me too what were we saying about the mug come back how do we bring
01:34:15.860 oh uh no that's what kept us afloat because we knew that we were going to be demonetized
01:34:19.940 interesting fact that was waterboarded as part of a christmas telethon and you feel that hand
01:34:24.340 that etching like it gives you grip and the signal when i wanted to stop being waterboarded
01:34:28.980 they taped my hands i was actually waterboarded by you know uh marine uh navy seals and uh some
01:34:33.460 army rangers they put that in my because i can't talk so they put the mug in my hand people can go
01:34:38.180 watch it and the signal was supposed to be i tossed the mug for them to stop but the problem is the
01:34:43.300 mug was clamped in my hand too tight and it's on the and i literally couldn't toss it didn't they
01:34:49.380 did that on purpose steven well they could have yeah i definitely didn't i thought i could beat
01:34:54.420 it like i stuck my tongue out like a tent i was like and then uh yeah so it's my point is this
01:34:59.940 is you know it's very uh you know it's it's nicer than yours but it's also uh very much just a a
01:35:06.020 token of appreciation i'm so glad that people like you are around too like there weren't many early
01:35:11.780 I mean, there were no conservatives on YouTube and there were there were no right leaning people, freedom minded people, which is dominated by edgy atheists.
01:35:18.800 And I appreciate you guys are willing to have conversations with with everybody.
01:35:23.020 Sometimes it gets heated and that's always really fun because I can see your eyes shift a little bit.
01:35:26.820 We're like this. But you still keep it right.
01:35:29.400 See, the thing is interesting you mentioned that because I definitely know my eyes go like that.
01:35:33.000 But I only really see we really genuinely are interested in everyone's perspectives.
01:35:37.120 Now, some people's perspectives are crazy and wrong, but it's worth having the conversation.
01:35:41.780 When I go hard at people is when they break the rules of the conversation.
01:35:47.420 The rule of conversation is you talk, I talk, and we engage with what each other is saying.
01:35:51.620 Some people don't do that.
01:35:53.980 What they do is dodge, interrupt.
01:35:56.800 And I have to say, our recent experiences are pretty consistent, which is it's only the progressive left that really does that.
01:36:03.820 With everyone else, you can have a discussion.
01:36:06.580 But we're going to keep inviting people on from all over the spectrum because we think there's value in that.
01:36:11.140 And by the way, if you want to talk about, you know, getting to the truth, interrogating each other's ideas and ideas from across the political spectrum is worth it for that reason.
01:36:20.240 I think it's why Change My Mind works so well, because that is a discussion about the ideas. 0.98
01:36:25.900 Ultimately, now it's entertaining and some people are retarded and blah, blah, blah. 0.98
01:36:30.660 We're allowed to say retarded now, too. 0.98
01:36:32.420 Yeah, we are. 0.94
01:36:33.420 You're welcome.
01:36:34.180 It's always been my favorite word.
01:36:36.040 Because we were suspended.
01:36:36.660 Isn't it fun, too, the lawsuit to Change My Mind?
01:36:38.720 That's going to be, you know, watching that on CNN.
01:36:41.300 They did Jubilees Change My Mind with James Tallarico.
01:36:45.360 And by the way, a lot of people have copied kind of the format and stuff.
01:36:48.240 Like people go, well, you can't trademark debate.
01:36:49.740 No, no, no, no, no, no, I'm not.
01:36:52.020 If I were to go out and AI creates two of you, Constantine and Francis,
01:36:57.220 and have a set like this and call it Trigonometry,
01:36:59.980 that would be a problem.
01:37:01.340 Not people just sitting down and having a conversation,
01:37:03.820 let alone a novel format.
01:37:05.320 But it's just funny.
01:37:06.540 They had the same font and color.
01:37:07.880 And it's like, I was just thinking about CNN, the most trusted name in news, literally couldn't come up with a name.
01:37:14.140 They just had to take it from someone else.
01:37:16.180 That shows you that legacy media is largely irrelevant.
01:37:20.040 And I'm hoping that as it's not really new media now, but I guess you would just say online media.
01:37:24.940 I'm concerned about the direction.
01:37:27.200 Two reasons.
01:37:28.140 One, the left are Marxists.
01:37:29.860 And that is something that I firmly believe I warn against it all the time.
01:37:32.240 If you want to understand the left, look at everything through the lens of Marxism.
01:37:36.680 who's the oppressor who's the oppressed it's the only way you can make sense of it it's the only
01:37:40.120 way you can make sense of an lgbtq flag but then also a free you know from the river to the sea
01:37:44.760 it's the only way you can make sense of the logical inconsistencies
01:37:47.880 they view the world through the lens of marxism and i absolutely when people say we need unity
01:37:53.080 on the right what does that mean to me means fighting the left and i know people say that's
01:37:57.800 just fear-mongering okay that's what needs to be unified is fighting the left because anything they
01:38:03.080 touch, they destroy. And I'm hoping that as we move forward, we see all this fracturing stuff
01:38:07.780 going on in online media. I'm hoping that shows like yours went out and not the clickbait stuff
01:38:15.220 that we were talking about. And I'm not just talking about those hosts, but the same thing
01:38:17.620 that you see on X and Instagram and the real culture. We are looking at a fork where the
01:38:23.400 internet could continue to be a really cool place that renders legacy media irrelevant. That part
01:38:28.500 has largely happened or dead internet theory could become a reality and that's that's scary so i hope
01:38:34.440 you guys you know keep doing it well thanks man but it's also up to people i mean the reality is
01:38:38.680 and you we've come all the way full circle to the start of the conversation podcasts are now i know
01:38:45.080 a lot of people in our space that literally sit down and plan out the podcast conversation down
01:38:51.080 to every single question and they're like and i'm gonna ask this because that will create this clip
01:38:55.100 and so now i thought this whole space was for this right yeah long form conversation agree
01:39:01.040 disagree discuss then bring someone on from different perspective but now we're getting
01:39:06.260 into clip culture 2.0 like woke 1.0 now we've got clip culture 2.0 where people are going into
01:39:13.120 a long form conversation to create a clip so that they can go on and it's so easy to do yeah like
01:39:19.260 look ask me okay well let's do a little thought exercise here ask me a question any question i'll
01:39:23.920 show you i'll show you how if i wanted to be a charlatan um like if i wanted to be dishonest
01:39:29.320 assuming you believe that i'm a what do you think about the iran war do you mean the iran war that
01:39:34.240 was orchestrated and funded by the jews now you do one are you optimistic for america i would be
01:39:41.120 optimistic for america if we weren't beholden to and controlled by bb net and yahoo it's super 0.56
01:39:47.760 fucking easy to do it's just anyone can do well what i found funny is that nick fuentes was like
01:39:53.160 the Israel derangement, like he was saying, 0.98
01:39:55.560 there are people now who have Israel derangement syndrome.
01:39:57.720 I know, yeah.
01:39:58.360 Which actually is your point,
01:40:00.020 which is once people catch on to the fact 0.98
01:40:02.380 that something, some retarded idea gets attention online, 0.90
01:40:06.240 then everyone starts repeating the retarded idea. 0.99
01:40:08.280 That's what pisses me off more than anything. 0.99
01:40:09.900 Yeah, well, it's just really easy to do.
01:40:11.840 Okay, let's do it with Charlie Kirk.
01:40:13.660 Go ahead and ask me a question,
01:40:14.500 because we've talked about these big things.
01:40:15.280 Did Erica Kirk kill Charlie Kirk?
01:40:17.320 Well, I am not saying that she killed Erica Kirk,
01:40:20.440 but isn't it odd that she wore leather pants
01:40:22.440 at his funeral and the person who came out and signed a sworn statement not in court mind you
01:40:27.180 said that erica kirk planned to kill charlie kirk what do you say to that person whose name i can't
01:40:33.320 give you and whose face i can't show you right anything it's way easier your jobs would be
01:40:39.520 way easier i've been doing what i do for a very long time and people can say i'm stubborn i'm not
01:40:44.100 going to change it but that is what you're up against um and it's uh it's super super easy to
01:40:49.980 do and that's why you see a bunch of johnny come lately going oh great so when you're like these
01:40:53.900 people who maybe espoused facts before there are some of those and there are a lot of people who
01:40:59.420 just popped up and they're doing exactly what i just did with you well maybe that's a better way
01:41:04.200 to think about it it's just entertainment uh for people who want that you know it's not it's not
01:41:08.720 actual factual discussion but that comes back to your point which is individual people who watch
01:41:13.280 stuff are going to have to make a decision do you want to watch things whose mission is truth
01:41:18.560 seeking or do you want what you want to watch entertainment 99 of them will choose entertainment
01:41:23.020 well we and the funny thing is our show is i mean i don't know if you've like we brought in several
01:41:27.820 metric tons of tons of sand into a parody of saving private ryan a parody of darkest hour like
01:41:32.560 there will be blood we have at least four or five sketches i mean our our overhead is millions of
01:41:37.200 dollars because we created a television show online as opposed to most podcasts are a radio
01:41:42.240 again my influences were people like letterman so it is far more entertaining and we treat people
01:41:46.960 like adults who can understand the difference between you know josh doing a george bush
01:41:50.940 impression calling the states on election night uh and a factual claim that i make and that's why
01:41:56.780 we provide overlays and that's what we try and give people references but you know okay doing
01:42:01.500 this before we go to the the questions here the israel thing i'll just this is my because i get
01:42:07.180 called both an anti-semite and a nazi in the same day okay this is my perspective and it has been
01:42:13.840 for pretty much all of my adult life.
01:42:15.960 I even said this to Ben Shapiro going back, I don't know, 2016.
01:42:20.220 I didn't get into depth.
01:42:21.180 I said, but you know what?
01:42:21.760 If we just stopped sending any money over to that area of the world, 1.00
01:42:25.220 Israel would actually come out ahead 0.72
01:42:26.280 when you add up all the money that we send to people 0.99
01:42:28.380 who want to wipe them off, face them out.
01:42:29.900 Is that a reasonable policy? 0.95
01:42:31.180 You think, oh, yeah, I think that's actually a reasonable policy. 0.99
01:42:33.940 And then my position is, hey, Israel has some motives
01:42:38.240 that sometimes are not aligned with the United States,
01:42:41.360 and the United States would have some motivations
01:42:43.180 that sometimes aren't aligned with Israel.
01:42:45.180 And then quite often there is overlap
01:42:47.320 because there are similar groups of people
01:42:49.620 who want to kill both of us.
01:42:51.900 And so the simple approach forward is no money, 0.72
01:42:55.960 no blank checks to Israel.
01:42:57.200 I don't think we should be sending the amount of money.
01:42:58.660 If they want to make some purchases, when convenient,
01:43:00.360 if we want to exchange intel, okay, great,
01:43:02.020 but we shouldn't be tied at the hip as a matter of policy.
01:43:07.040 And let the cards fall where they may.
01:43:09.560 Iran is a good example.
01:43:10.980 They have motivations, we have motivations.
01:43:13.180 Sometimes they are congruent.
01:43:14.960 Sometimes they're not.
01:43:16.360 Think AIPAC should probably register under Farah.
01:43:19.100 They can go screw themselves with a wire brush
01:43:20.760 for the same reason ActBlue can,
01:43:22.260 because they gave so much money to Hakeem Jeffries
01:43:24.160 and Elizabeth Warren.
01:43:24.940 I don't care.
01:43:25.640 They tend to lean left.
01:43:26.580 But so should all the people who give money to universities,
01:43:28.920 whether it's Qatar, whether it's China.
01:43:30.540 We should know about the influence in our elections.
01:43:32.540 We should know the proportionality,
01:43:33.980 which is something people are avoiding.
01:43:35.340 And I don't think that we should be having 0.78
01:43:36.700 a consistent, guaranteed, relied-upon check to Israel.
01:43:41.200 And I believe they have the right to exist. 0.98
01:43:42.900 I think that's probably a position
01:43:44.540 that most people would find sensible.
01:43:46.740 There's no place for that.
01:43:48.260 It's incredibly unsexy, isn't it? 1.00
01:43:50.040 Because the Jews are in control of the government 1.00
01:43:52.260 is much more appealing. 1.00
01:43:53.660 Yeah.
01:43:54.060 As is, there's a genocide, which there isn't.
01:43:56.600 You know, like these two extreme positions,
01:44:00.060 like on many other issues,
01:44:01.340 are far more appealing, 0.99
01:44:02.920 especially to dumb people, let's be honest. 0.99
01:44:04.740 But I'm extremist. 1.00
01:44:05.900 I'm an extreme right wing.
01:44:06.800 I'm just saying like that one
01:44:07.580 is where I look at the truth and I go, okay.
01:44:09.340 That's a very moderate position on this issue.
01:44:11.240 It probably is a moderate position on this issue,
01:44:12.780 but it's a position that actually, I'm not, it's not common ground. I'm not trying to find common
01:44:17.020 ground based on a lie. You'll find probably some people on the left and on the right who would
01:44:20.000 agree with that. Yep. Stop the guaranteed funding. Farrah, got it. We also need to know other money
01:44:24.940 in politics and wherever it makes sense for us to partner up, great. Otherwise, enjoy yourselves.
01:44:31.620 I think that's a very sensible view and many Americans agree with it. And we're funding all
01:44:35.360 sides of the war in the Middle East. We know that. So like, this is the problem. That's not clippable.
01:44:39.920 that's a conversation that can take place and i say this as someone who has been accused of being
01:44:45.340 reductive because i go well it's a life and you're aborting a life i go well a man can't become a
01:44:49.120 woman this is one of those topics where the left believes in nuance for everything until there's
01:44:55.920 an issue that actually requires nuance right they believe in nuance for everything uh but then of
01:45:01.780 course they don't believe in it when there is no nuance like well there's nuance with gender okay
01:45:04.640 explain it to me they can't answer it at all but then with this issue they just go genocide you
01:45:09.800 mentioned that like i get by the way your heart breaks for anyone not even i don't even want to
01:45:14.620 i don't want to end on this but your heart breaks for someone was someone have the someone had
01:45:17.680 the word genocide why do you have a coal miner as your ad i get him out um like it's i get and
01:45:26.040 it's horrible and your heart breaks when you see what's going on yes but it's a pretty shitty
01:45:31.400 genocide if you look at the percentage of population like i would imagine that that 0.94
01:45:36.820 Hitler would be very upset if there were six million more Jews than when he started. 0.88
01:45:41.880 He'd probably have to have a follow-up guy like Himmler, like, I forgot to carry the wand, something like that.
01:45:46.920 He'd do a bit of ranting, he'd be unhappy.
01:45:48.720 Yeah, he would be definitely unhappy.
01:45:50.060 He's like, Mangala, it's always some mundane details. Six million Newton's not a mundane detail.
01:45:55.360 I would imagine that he would not be happy with that if he set out with the goal. 0.90
01:46:00.740 And by the way, Hitler's bad. 0.97
01:46:03.740 Well done for three. 0.99
01:46:04.640 Most of the time.
01:46:05.720 Yeah.
01:46:06.220 Let's just be clear.
01:46:06.820 I mean, I'm sure he did, like, some things that were...
01:46:08.460 Like, I'm sure every now and then he walked the dog. 0.94
01:46:09.860 And I'm like, okay, good for Hitler walking the dog. 0.79
01:46:11.360 So I don't want to make the simple reductive statement. 0.75
01:46:13.520 But as a general rule, I'm not afraid to take the unpopular position. 0.85
01:46:18.160 I'm anti-Hitler. 0.88
01:46:20.240 I would imagine that if Hitler set out with the stated goal 0.84
01:46:25.140 of exterminating the Jews, 0.89
01:46:27.680 and there were more than when he started, 0.94
01:46:30.540 he...
01:46:31.420 So not me.
01:46:31.920 I bet you he would tell you that it was a failure.
01:46:36.000 Just an opinion.
01:46:36.820 But we'll never know, because God rest his soul,
01:46:39.960 he left us too soon.
01:46:42.460 Feels inappropriate.
01:46:43.440 What's the one thing we're not talking about
01:46:45.680 that we really should be?
01:46:47.540 Before Stephen answers the final question,
01:46:49.320 it's going to take about half an hour, by the way,
01:46:51.040 at the end of the interview, go to triggerpod.co.uk
01:46:54.260 where you'll be able to see this.
01:46:56.500 If I have the guy with the biggest biceps,
01:46:57.880 smaller biceps, you've got 20% bigger biceps,
01:46:59.720 my biceps are 33% bigger than you,
01:47:01.200 congratulations, I'm the guy with the bigger biceps.
01:47:04.160 Can you describe some of the stealth efforts
01:47:06.480 to discredit or compromise you honeypot financial gain bribes false leads give me the dirt
01:47:12.160 what's the one thing one thing we're not talking about that we really should be choose
01:47:16.720 uh no uh what's the one thing that they get a lot of attention
01:47:20.960 you know what it is um you know that caller daddy podcast uh yes i'm aware yeah they had uh kamala
01:47:30.020 harris on there's a kamala i've just i've just you know it's fine because i go back and forth
01:47:35.160 and then remembering the right and wrong way.
01:47:36.060 I can't remember which one is.
01:47:37.220 It's that, you know,
01:47:38.480 people talk about feminism quite a bit, 1.00
01:47:40.160 and I do think feminism... 0.51
01:47:40.820 Most of our audience will be extremely unfamiliar 1.00
01:47:43.400 with the Call Her Daddy podcast.
01:47:45.120 What is it?
01:47:45.600 Well, then that's a problem if they have a blind spot, 1.00
01:47:47.000 because it's like the most popular female podcast out there. 1.00
01:47:49.740 That's what I said. 1.00
01:47:51.160 You want me to summarize what it is?
01:47:53.500 Yeah. 1.00
01:47:53.940 Dumb bitch telling women to be slutty. 1.00
01:47:56.500 Okay. 1.00
01:47:57.240 I'm in favor.
01:47:57.680 It's like, yeah.
01:47:58.800 It's like if World Market,
01:48:00.760 if their little, like, home sweet home 0.79
01:48:01.980 was just like, bang every guy you see.
01:48:03.840 so uh why are you against anyway cara well come on now come on i see oh yeah you're christian
01:48:09.260 conservative yes i am and i'm happily married right i'm just uh pretending to be a real no
01:48:14.120 no that's okay you're trying to do the edgy thing exactly not everyone has to be nick fuentes
01:48:17.400 constantine it's okay to be yourself it's gonna be hard for me to be nick fuentes i feel
01:48:21.400 hey nick fuentes lives in you um no so women worrying how's the gay mexican inside me all 0.98
01:48:28.220 What's with you and the gay? Whatever, whatever, okay. 1.00
01:48:31.620 Back to Call Her Daddy. 1.00
01:48:33.300 Feminism is a problem. 1.00
01:48:34.320 Feminism is how Marxism has definitely gotten a hold in the Western world. 1.00
01:48:39.280 And I don't just mean, okay, women wanting to be able to go and go to school, whatever. 0.99
01:48:43.700 I'm talking about the breakdown of gender norms. 0.82
01:48:46.820 The breakdown of male-female roles and how they function in society.
01:48:50.880 This shocked Dave Rubin.
01:48:52.380 He was on my show in like 2016, I think.
01:48:55.180 He was like, well, you know, you're conservative,
01:48:56.500 of, but you're more of a libertarian like me. For example, I know you'd support same-sex marriage.
01:49:00.520 I said, no, I don't. It sounds like Kermit the Frog. A little bit. You know, you're same-sex 1.00
01:49:03.940 marriage. Whatever it is. I said, no, I don't. He goes, what? I said, yeah, I don't. I'm against 0.83
01:49:10.860 it. If you want to have civil unions, fine. I said, but I think that marriage is an institution
01:49:14.200 that exists because we wanted to recognize a nuclear family as a central building block of
01:49:18.360 the American way of life. And I don't think that men and women are fundamentally interchangeable.
01:49:22.800 and if you declare that they are, 0.69
01:49:24.460 that there's nothing a mother brings to a child
01:49:26.340 that two fathers can't, and vice versa, 0.79
01:49:28.740 I think that you're not going to like 1.00
01:49:31.280 the gender-bending slope that you slide down. 1.00
01:49:33.360 So, no, I'm against it. 1.00
01:49:35.120 And it also, by the way, the same reason I'm against it
01:49:37.000 is entirely consistent with, 0.93
01:49:40.020 I do believe when people say interracial marriage,
01:49:41.660 this used to be their arguments,
01:49:43.320 is I believe that a black mom can provide everything 0.72
01:49:46.260 to a child that a white mom can.
01:49:47.840 Most of. 0.86
01:49:48.440 You know, maybe not like, you know,
01:49:50.520 cholesterol-lowering food. 0.81
01:49:51.520 But I don't believe that a black dad and a white dad are worlds apart.
01:49:57.040 I believe that a mom and a dad are.
01:49:58.660 Okay. 1.00
01:49:59.820 So that's why I say feminism started that, breaking down of the gender norms. 1.00
01:50:03.560 And you can't say, yeah, yeah, yeah, whoever gets married, that's all fine. 1.00
01:50:06.460 Love is love.
01:50:06.940 And then have a problem with people declaring themselves to be another gender. 0.96
01:50:09.640 I think it's very difficult to stake your claim there. 0.71
01:50:13.140 But as it goes back to feminism, I use that because it's the biggest example. 0.94
01:50:17.680 I'm trying to think of other big shows. 0.99
01:50:18.620 young women have no good examples to look up to we talk about men very often and it's true but
01:50:26.820 true men are lacking a lot of good examples but here's the thing men can kind of cobble it
01:50:32.900 together from different people because there's usually something good like I've heard you talk
01:50:36.540 about Andrew Tate and I've never had him on the show I don't know enough about the court case
01:50:41.000 I know that would disagree with him on a whole lot but he was a world champion kickboxer and 0.98
01:50:46.840 some of his advice is get your shit together, get in shape. Instead of bitching about what the world 0.98
01:50:51.720 owes you, get your finances together and make yourself someone that would be desirable to a
01:50:55.060 woman. I think that all of us would go, okay, that part, a young man wouldn't be, wouldn't be worse
01:51:01.220 off taking that advice. Okay. Same thing. You look at Joe Rogan. I'm not into the DMT thing and stuff
01:51:06.160 like that. Like some of the things he says, I disagree with. Okay. But he also is a self-made
01:51:11.280 person who came from a pretty rough upbringing and he talks about opportunity, pulling herself
01:51:15.520 up by her bootstraps. He talks about living a strenuous life. In other words, there are good
01:51:18.980 things you could take from that. The Call Her Daddy podcast, and it's very typical of most of
01:51:26.140 these, there is nothing good for women to pull from. It's sleep with as many men as you want, 1.00
01:51:33.160 put off marriage and having a family, be a boss bitch, and if the guy doesn't want you, 1.00
01:51:38.260 it's his problem and he has no right to ask your body count. And the only counter that you have to 1.00
01:51:43.600 it is sort of the femcon i think andrew wilson was on your show they talk about on the right where 0.63
01:51:48.180 they claim to be traditional but it's a gimmick and ultimately they still have these crazy
01:51:52.380 unrealistic expectations of men and don't hold women accountable women young women have no good
01:51:58.520 examples available to them in mainstream media culture and many really bad examples being jammed
01:52:06.900 down their throat and that is something that uh people are going to have to reconcile at some
01:52:12.480 point we've had a few women on the show who are really good louise perry mary harrington friend
01:52:18.440 but these are people who are not huge names uh and i also think part of it even with those people
01:52:23.640 the reason that some of them are not huge names i mean there's many reasons i can't speak i haven't
01:52:28.340 seen them i can guarantee you some of them aren't hot well that is something i'm definitely not
01:52:33.320 gonna comment on some of them you don't have to say which one i guarantee you that at least one
01:52:37.180 of them is not a bigger name because they're not hot actually what i was gonna say you're wrong
01:52:41.060 what i was gonna say they're all hot got it i'm gonna go back and check those names
01:52:44.700 you do it um the the reason that they're not actually big is quite often that what you are
01:52:51.360 talking about which is uh what you would describe as a healthy and productive way for a woman to be
01:52:57.900 necessarily means she's unlikely to be a content creator an influencer because they're doing what
01:53:02.980 my wife is doing which is being a mom and a wife right right uh and i think that's partly a structure 1.00
01:53:07.400 You mean a tool of the patriarchy. 0.95
01:53:09.360 That's right.
01:53:10.080 A tool or victim? 0.93
01:53:11.140 No, victim of the patriarchy.
01:53:12.440 Right. 0.71
01:53:13.220 Oh, no, she's worse. 1.00
01:53:14.500 She's a tool. 1.00
01:53:14.900 Yeah, you have her plowing the field. 1.00
01:53:16.780 Do I? 1.00
01:53:17.640 You should.
01:53:18.520 Yeah, I need to get a field. 0.99
01:53:20.360 Get a field. 1.00
01:53:21.220 I'll get a field. 1.00
01:53:21.760 First, note to self, get field, then have woman plow it. 1.00
01:53:26.080 Your point is better inspiration for young women and better messaging. 0.99
01:53:31.260 No, my point is they're not. 0.81
01:53:32.440 Yeah.
01:53:32.960 Yeah, and I say that.
01:53:34.080 I mean, go look for them.
01:53:35.200 Yeah. 1.00
01:53:35.360 And a big part of it is that women choose to elevate these people. 0.59
01:53:38.120 But here's the big thing is men will hold men accountable in a way that women don't tend to. 0.99
01:53:43.960 Lindsay Clancy was a real, a lot of people said, were these bitches always as crazy? 1.00
01:53:49.440 I go, yes. 1.00
01:53:50.360 Not all of them, but more than you ever knew before.
01:53:53.440 About half of Western women. 1.00
01:53:55.240 Let's call it 30%. 1.00
01:53:56.280 Yes.
01:53:57.380 Yes.
01:53:57.660 Many of them think that Lindsay Clancy is innocent and that she deserves sympathy and that you're a part of the patriarchy.
01:54:03.940 you look at no jurors were willing to find that person guilty uh except the black guy which just
01:54:09.780 screwed their whole plan but the one thing that i love about that is remember we were all like 0.96
01:54:13.980 oh this poor lone holdout juror who was henpecked black guy couldn't have cared less like i don't 0.99
01:54:18.400 give a fuck he was probably making him give presentations he's like yeah why don't you 1.00
01:54:21.620 show me again why she's innocent bitch get the fuck out of here uh so yeah it's um men will i 1.00
01:54:28.020 mean men in war you have to hold men accountable right men have to hold each other accountable 1.00
01:54:30.940 Hey, our friend died. What happened? Who got it wrong?
01:54:33.780 Missed a pass. Hey, you didn't catch it.
01:54:35.740 You don't get to say, yeah, but I didn't mean to,
01:54:37.840 and yeah, but intent, and yeah, how I feel.
01:54:40.140 Men constantly go through life in scenarios where we are held to account
01:54:45.320 whether it's proactively done by our friend or not.
01:54:47.740 The situation does. 1.00
01:54:49.320 Women can go a very long period of time, and most do, 1.00
01:54:52.280 without encountering that. 0.98
01:54:53.520 And so it's very easy to sell a lie and a fantasy.
01:54:56.280 And I say call her daddy because this is someone who said,
01:54:58.320 you know you should go out and sleep with as many guys and get that bag and and then by the way also 1.00
01:55:03.840 believes in retroactively removing consent um but she isn't living that way she has a pretty wealthy
01:55:10.080 husband or fiance and is now having a child so she's advocating because this is what's what tells
01:55:15.100 you is not how someone lives it's what sells to women what sells to women right now the market is
01:55:21.980 really bad and there are no mainstream positive examples and so if we want to fix
01:55:27.580 the gender gap here i mean i i run these things i'll say this i have something that i consistently
01:55:33.920 reference in the show because i think everyone is saying how do we fix this right the loneliness
01:55:36.840 epidemic loneliness epi pen epidemic um men are checking out but they're checking out for the
01:55:42.420 first time if you look at the the polling data men still want marriage and a family those are
01:55:47.440 their top top two things women it's like way down the list like number 10 11. there are two stats
01:55:53.120 that matter because both sides say yeah it's actually you you have these crazy expectations
01:55:57.760 and we're happy women go we're happier alone you have to compete with the fact that we have
01:56:01.360 fulfilled lives and men are going no actually you have crazy expectations and we're fine with our
01:56:05.120 hobbies one has to be right this comes to truth we have the end beyond any shadow of a doubt the
01:56:12.000 data and i run these two graphs i believe they're both graphs on screen all the time there was one
01:56:18.960 study where they had many many women thousands i think hundreds of thousands i can't remember how
01:56:22.720 many rate men on a scale from one to ten and then they had men rate scale rate women on a scale from
01:56:28.560 one to ten now this goes to who has more unrealistic standards men rated the women
01:56:34.160 and it looked like a perfect bell curve the women rated the men and it was a reverse hockey stick
01:56:39.680 over 80% of the men were below statistical average,
01:56:44.760 at which point average is a meaningless word.
01:56:48.020 And then, so we have the answer.
01:56:49.880 Who has more unrealistic expectations? 1.00
01:56:51.780 Women. It's not even close. 1.00
01:56:53.780 Then we look at, okay, the loneliness epidemic.
01:56:56.520 Who's happier?
01:56:58.020 Compared to men, you can look at this chart. 1.00
01:57:00.320 Women are consistently less happy,
01:57:03.640 and they're becoming less happy by the year, 0.74
01:57:05.700 while men are at the same rate or slightly happier.
01:57:08.960 So we promised young women that they could have it all. 1.00
01:57:12.400 And they did get everything except happiness and except fulfillment. 0.99
01:57:15.860 And we can't correct it by browbeating men or by telling men that, you know what, you need to listen more. 0.99
01:57:21.660 And, you know, we need to approach this from a feminine angle. 0.83
01:57:24.120 Everything that we have done, which has been tainted with feminism since the 1960s, it's made women more delusional and it's made them significantly less happy.
01:57:34.660 So if you want men to stop checking out of the dating pool, if we want to have a country, if we want to have babies, there needs to be a conversation with women. 0.98
01:57:42.420 And it needs to come from women because no vagina, no opinion, unless you're trans. 0.99
01:57:47.460 There we go. Stephen, thank you so much for coming on. Head on over to triggerpod.co.uk where we're going to ask Stephen your questions. 1.00
01:57:53.780 Oh, boy.
01:57:54.040 Is there an area of modern life
01:57:58.000 where you think the free market
01:57:59.320 genuinely fails to produce
01:58:00.840 a satisfactory outcome
01:58:02.700 and what would you do about it?
