00:00:00.000 Prince Andrew went from the Queen's favourite son to the monarchy's most toxic liability.
00:00:06.100 Once parading as a war hero and jet-set playboy, he's now mired in scandal, financial strain, and public disgrace.
00:00:13.820 A fallen royal who embodies everything the firm wishes we would forget.
00:00:24.480 On The Daily Council today, I'm joined by Jeudan.
00:00:27.620 Brian Jeudan, thank you so much.
00:00:29.380 Nice to see you.
00:00:30.000 Nice to see you.
00:00:31.420 A lot going on in the world right now.
00:00:32.840 Why don't we take a break today from politics and screaming about that like we like to.
00:00:36.740 All right.
00:00:37.220 And by the way, a couple of comments on recent videos with you, if I may.
00:00:42.200 One of them was, pink shirt guy is my spirit animal.
00:00:46.540 That was pretty funny.
00:00:47.960 And another one just said, amen, amen, amen, pink shirt guy.
00:00:52.380 Really?
00:00:52.800 Yeah, people think of you as pink shirt guy.
00:00:54.640 I don't know what you're thinking showing up in this.
00:00:56.640 Well, I'll start wearing pink shirts.
00:00:58.480 By the way, don't forget to subscribe and tell a friend about what we're doing here on TPL.
00:01:03.300 TPLmedia.ca for a bunch of great shows.
00:01:06.500 We are Canada's podcast network.
00:01:08.200 And this is one of the shows The Daily Council.
00:01:10.140 And I am your host, Mike.
00:01:13.160 Anyway, well, you know, because we're kind of new, Jeudan.
00:01:15.740 Uh-huh.
00:01:16.300 You were telling me you're keeping an eye on this hurricane that's going on.
00:01:19.320 Yeah, Jamaica.
00:01:20.520 A lady in her office is Jamaican.
00:01:21.820 She's got family in Jamaica.
00:01:23.540 She must be worried.
00:01:24.020 She's, yeah, really worried.
00:01:25.360 She's keeping in touch with her family.
00:01:26.700 But we don't know what's going to happen.
00:01:28.760 They say it's going to be the biggest hurricane in history or something like that.
00:01:32.100 Wow.
00:01:32.180 Like another Katrina.
00:01:33.880 But who knows what's going to happen.
00:01:35.700 I mean, I know that out there the liberal set is going to blame global warming
00:01:43.140 while the conservative set will be filling sandbags trying to save their homes.
00:01:48.260 So, well, okay.
00:01:48.980 I think we've chosen a side then, have we?
00:01:51.040 We've chosen a side because it's typical.
00:01:53.240 Well, there you go.
00:01:54.080 You know, today we're talking about, as you probably heard in the intro,
00:01:58.300 we're going to be talking about the most recent life and times of royal Prince Andrew.
00:02:04.960 I don't even know if we're allowed to call him that anymore.
00:02:07.140 He's been stripped of so many of his titles.
00:02:09.000 That might be one of them.
00:02:10.820 And I was going through all the paperwork and the history on this guy.
00:02:14.680 And I don't know how else to put it.
00:02:17.220 Nick, while I get in trouble, you might have to bleep this.
00:02:19.620 This guy is a royal douchebag.
00:02:21.060 He is a douchebag.
00:02:21.880 Like consistently his whole life.
00:02:24.080 This guy behaves in a manner that you would expect one of Donald Trump kids to behave.
00:02:29.200 But they don't.
00:02:30.540 They're respectable people.
00:02:31.920 I know.
00:02:32.420 But he just behaves like a rich brat his whole life.
00:02:36.100 Well, he, the thing about Andrew that makes me laugh is that he goes out there and he portrays this stoic sort of royal where when he's in public and the lights are on, he stands there and he, you know, his shoulders pinned back.
00:02:49.660 And he, he looks very regal.
00:02:51.360 I mean, he, he portrays that part of himself very well.
00:02:54.380 But at the same time, in the background, he's a child.
00:02:59.140 Now, I don't know if you know this little shady thing about Prince Andrew.
00:03:03.180 Please, dish.
00:03:04.560 Give me the T, as the kids would say.
00:03:06.460 Is that correct, by the way, Christophe?
00:03:08.780 Okay.
00:03:09.540 The T, whatever that means.
00:03:11.660 The man is, what, 60-something?
00:03:14.860 He still has, he still keeps stuffies on his bed.
00:03:18.420 He has little stuffed animals on his bed.
00:03:20.400 How do you know that?
00:03:21.580 Because some of the royal help have commented on the fact that Andrew still has teddy bears in his bedroom, which is absolutely bizarre to me.
00:03:31.620 If it's true, it's bizarre.
00:03:34.260 He was the queen's favorite son, obviously.
00:03:37.440 And, you know, in the 70s and 80s, he was even known as Randy.
00:03:40.180 I remember this.
00:03:41.080 He was known as Randy Andy.
00:03:42.720 Well, Charles was out creating meaningful relationships and trying to do things with butterflies and architecture.
00:03:48.660 And actually, now I look at the king and I think, this was a pretty rounded renaissance man, actually, compared to other people.
00:03:56.180 Although we don't hear much about his sister and Edward too much.
00:04:01.060 We certainly have heard about Andrew over the years.
00:04:03.560 And the one thing I don't really, I'm never really able to put my finger on, is what he and his ex-wife do for a living, except go to parties.
00:04:13.300 They're sponges.
00:04:14.540 They are royal sponges.
00:04:16.020 They should name a sponge called the Andrew, right?
00:04:19.340 He is a royal sponge.
00:04:20.500 Has been his entire career.
00:04:21.940 No, no, no.
00:04:22.460 If you can call it that.
00:04:23.520 We've patented the royal sponge, actually.
00:04:25.720 You can't use the word royal, you know.
00:04:27.240 No, like, well, he can't use the word royal, that's for sure.
00:04:30.080 He can't, no, he can't use anything at all.
00:04:32.220 Like, he's out.
00:04:33.100 Like, he needs to get a job.
00:04:34.300 He needs to get an apprenticeship as a plumber and go to work like the rest of the people.
00:04:38.020 Because right now, he's sitting there with this sense of entitlement that never, ever leaves him.
00:04:44.080 Ever.
00:04:44.540 He sits there and goes, well, you're going to kick me out of my house that I haven't paid rent on?
00:04:48.260 That's...
00:04:48.540 75-year lease.
00:04:49.840 You know what he pays for it?
00:04:50.960 Nothing.
00:04:51.520 A peppercorn.
00:04:52.120 Well, he had to put some...
00:04:53.460 Here's the thing.
00:04:54.560 His finances, and we'll get to this a bit later.
00:04:56.840 His finances are shaky at best.
00:04:58.620 What he was doing with Epstein in the first place, obviously, was driven by money.
00:05:03.540 I think...
00:05:04.300 Here's the thing that I've thought about consistently about Epstein.
00:05:07.820 He had so much disposable cash.
00:05:11.520 All he did was luxury stuff with this cash, right?
00:05:14.860 And here's Ghislaine Maxwell.
00:05:17.920 She grows up this wild lifestyle, daughter of a media magnate.
00:05:23.400 And magnate, I can say it right.
00:05:25.980 I'm a broadcaster.
00:05:26.740 And here's Prince Andrew, and he's got the actual royal upbringing.
00:05:32.860 And as these finances in their life dwindle and that luxury slips into the sunset, you can see them clawing at just about anything to stay in that jet set lifestyle, including being part of this horrible operation of human trafficking.
00:05:50.900 Well, I think the thing about someone like Andrew is he became overshadowed by his brother Charles and then by William and Harry and Diana and everybody else.
00:06:03.160 And he disappeared.
00:06:03.880 It was okay for Edward to disappear and just go live his life quietly as he has.
00:06:07.900 But Andrew was trying to hang on to fame.
00:06:11.820 And for people that actually know anything about fame at all, fame is fleeting.
00:06:17.320 And those that find their fame fleeting will scratch and claw and kill and do whatever it takes to keep themselves in those circles.
00:06:25.560 And Epstein was the center of a very unique circle.
00:06:31.340 Epstein had way more contacts, I'm sure, than Andrew did.
00:06:35.020 Andrew probably had...
00:06:35.900 He had way more money.
00:06:36.720 He had way more money.
00:06:37.820 Yeah.
00:06:38.020 He had...
00:06:38.300 Oh, my God.
00:06:38.920 He had so much money.
00:06:40.080 And he was just...
00:06:41.220 Andrew needed to place himself in the center of that.
00:06:43.280 Not just because Andrew is probably a debauched individual, but he wanted to make sure that Epstein could introduce him to that person or that person or that person.
00:06:52.320 So he could stay...
00:06:53.320 So he could continue to go to the parties, continue to meet the elite, continue to pretend that he was relevant because he's not.
00:07:02.960 And I think to Epstein, he must have represented, oh, you know, the royals even invest with me.
00:07:07.600 Look, Prince Andrew is a friend of mine, not really understanding that, you know, Prince Andrew is a sponge and that, you know, there is no inherent value in his financial expertise, for example, or, you know, actually his depth of wealth in backing anything.
00:07:24.320 But probably to Epstein, it looked pretty cool.
00:07:27.220 I mean, Ghislaine Maxwell, yeah, nobody really knew who her dad was after a while, but the royal family doesn't fade.
00:07:33.120 That brand doesn't fade.
00:07:34.540 No, but the royal family is now becoming more and more irrelevant.
00:07:38.780 They actually serve no purpose.
00:07:41.060 If you look at the royal family, what do they offer?
00:07:43.080 They offer nothing.
00:07:44.280 Nothing.
00:07:44.680 They don't give us anything.
00:07:45.660 You pay a little bit of money.
00:07:46.860 A tourist stop in London there.
00:07:48.200 I don't know if you've been.
00:07:48.880 They've got this, what do you call it, the palace there.
00:07:51.220 Palace.
00:07:51.560 Yeah, the Buckingham Palace is outstanding.
00:07:54.820 But they're paying for it.
00:07:56.020 Yeah.
00:07:56.200 Why are we paying for it?
00:07:57.180 Why do we have a queen of Canada or a king of Canada?
00:08:00.140 We, like, we haven't changed our money.
00:08:02.620 By the way, if we do decide to get a king or queen of Canada.
00:08:06.040 We have one.
00:08:06.800 I would like you to at least, what?
00:08:08.680 Oh, we do actually.
00:08:09.440 We do.
00:08:09.920 That is kind of true.
00:08:10.400 That's my point.
00:08:11.360 Well, the prince has been laid off.
00:08:13.860 Prince Trudeau has been laid off and I guess King Carney is what's left.
00:08:18.020 Well, King, again, King Carney connected to the royals, connected to London, connected
00:08:23.860 to the money in London.
00:08:25.540 He's connected to everything.
00:08:27.440 Like, it's, this is such a tangled, disgusting.
00:08:30.200 Do you predict Andrew making his way to Canada eventually to hide out and spend the rest of
00:08:34.400 his days with his friend Carney?
00:08:36.180 You know, actually, I wouldn't put it past him because he's not wanted in Great Britain.
00:08:41.840 So where's he going to go?
00:08:43.020 He has to go to a commonwealth country, right?
00:08:45.660 Someone that's going to protect him where he has some kind of immunity.
00:08:50.700 Why not?
00:08:51.480 Why wouldn't he come to Canada?
00:08:53.100 Let's go back in time.
00:08:54.060 He meets Jeffrey Epstein in 1999 and he meets, he actually meets him through Ghislaine Maxwell,
00:09:00.680 who he knew from university back in the UK.
00:09:05.640 In 2000, Epstein and Maxwell attend a party at Windsor Castle hosted by Queen Elizabeth at
00:09:10.660 Andrew's 40th birthday.
00:09:12.360 Don't know if they really stayed in touch through all that with the development of Epstein in
00:09:18.180 Maxwell's life.
00:09:20.020 20, 2001, Virginia Jeffrey, née Roberts, alleges that at 17, she was trafficked by Epstein and
00:09:27.100 Maxwell to have sex with Prince Andrew on three occasions, starting with an initial encounter
00:09:31.740 at Maxwell's London townhouse.
00:09:33.540 In December of 2010, Prince Andrew stays at Epstein's mansion for three days after the conviction
00:09:39.260 for sex offenses against a minor.
00:09:41.520 And in February 2011, an email from Prince Andrew to Epstein services stating, we are in
00:09:48.480 this together, expressing concern for Epstein.
00:09:51.780 And then he basically he he goes on with a Newsnight interview statement where he claimed
00:09:58.920 to have ended the relationship with Epstein in 2010.
00:10:01.660 In 2019, he gives a BBC Newsnight interview publicly renouncing his dealings with Epstein for the
00:10:08.180 first time.
00:10:08.920 He denies having sex with an underage minor and he was home with his daughters after attending
00:10:15.280 a party at Pizza Express.
00:10:17.940 Now, that brings us to this point, the non-sweaty Prince.
00:10:25.800 And Nick, I don't know if we can take a look at some of that interview, but boy, oh boy,
00:10:30.960 it was really uncomfortable.
00:10:34.240 Do I regret the fact that he has quite obviously conducted himself in a manner unbecoming?
00:10:41.420 Yes.
00:10:42.660 Unbecoming?
00:10:43.420 He was a sex offender.
00:10:44.660 Yeah.
00:10:45.120 I'm sorry.
00:10:45.660 I'm being polite.
00:10:46.340 OK, so there we go.
00:10:47.820 No, no, no.
00:10:49.220 I don't sweat.
00:10:50.400 You said pizza?
00:10:51.760 Yeah.
00:10:52.640 Pizzagate.
00:10:53.160 Is that what you're thinking?
00:10:54.180 It just the irony.
00:10:55.640 How is it not like seriously?
00:10:58.360 Well, I mean, he was stating it.
00:10:59.680 So if he was alleging something about Pizzagate, he'd be better to shut his mouth.
00:11:03.420 But this interview would have been better avoided entirely for his own image.
00:11:09.020 And instead, he's out there talking about how in the Falkland Islands.
00:11:13.480 No, no, no.
00:11:14.120 I don't sweat.
00:11:15.200 You see, I lost that ability in the Falkland Islands on a mission.
00:11:17.660 Now, I took a look at what this guy's missions were.
00:11:21.620 Go on.
00:11:22.500 He was not a war hero in the Falkland Islands.
00:11:25.980 You don't say.
00:11:26.860 Shocking.
00:11:27.780 Well, I mean, I guess he was a naval officer in the helicopter division.
00:11:34.380 Flew a helicopter.
00:11:34.700 But he was not on any dire missions.
00:11:37.180 As you know, it was a pretty short-lived war.
00:11:39.860 And his mission was to do routine work, as many other soldiers would do.
00:11:44.000 Nothing outstanding.
00:11:45.460 Nothing that would preclude him from sweating.
00:11:48.660 Nothing that seems so extreme in his service that he would no longer be able to produce sweat.
00:11:54.360 Meanwhile, in that interview, he did look a little clammy.
00:11:58.400 Do you think so?
00:11:59.260 I think, man.
00:12:00.480 He may have relapsed back into perspiration.
00:12:03.660 Okay.
00:12:03.960 In 2019, Buckingham Palace announces that Andrew is suspending his public duties for the foreseeable future.
00:12:12.780 He said that.
00:12:13.700 Well, rightfully so.
00:12:16.380 But on the 24th, the palace confirms that Andrew is to step down from all 230 of his patronages.
00:12:22.760 All of which he collects money for.
00:12:24.360 Right.
00:12:24.760 So he now may not collect money for that.
00:12:27.720 No.
00:12:28.060 So his job basically is gone.
00:12:30.360 2020, the Home Office recommends a major downgrade of security for Andrew, ending his round-the-clock armed police protection.
00:12:37.640 Meanwhile, people are being offed all around this Epstein thing.
00:12:42.940 What's your point?
00:12:43.960 Don't you think he would have needed more security and not less?
00:12:46.760 He would think, but it's the royal family.
00:12:48.280 I mean, do you think they care?
00:12:50.940 They're only interested in maintaining the monarchy.
00:12:54.120 Yeah.
00:12:54.360 It's about power.
00:12:55.180 They don't care if Andrew lives or dies.
00:12:58.100 They don't.
00:12:58.620 They'll just give him a nice big funeral.
00:13:00.100 People will walk down the street.
00:13:01.260 They'll follow a limo with a casket in and his daughters will cry.
00:13:03.740 And then really, that's that.
00:13:05.600 And then that's it.
00:13:06.260 And then it's over.
00:13:07.040 We'll make a deal with his daughters.
00:13:08.600 Everybody will be...
00:13:09.280 Right.
00:13:09.380 We'll get back to living normal, clean lives without Andrew in the mix.
00:13:12.540 And England will go, well, good riddance to him.
00:13:15.680 So glad he's gone.
00:13:17.000 That's exactly what'll happen.
00:13:18.380 He had it coming would have been the response probably.
00:13:20.560 You're right.
00:13:20.880 Right.
00:13:21.180 Same year, January 2020, the U.S. attorney, Jeffrey Berman, he stated that Prince Andrew had provided zero cooperation with federal prosecutors and the FBI regarding the ongoing investigation.
00:13:35.440 And by 2022, in January, he stripped of all his military roles and royal patronages by the Queen, by the Queen herself following sexual assault lawsuit.
00:13:47.280 In 2025, Prince Andrew announces that he will relinquish his titles, including the Duke of York in a statement released by Buckingham Palace.
00:13:54.760 And that came to us last week.
00:13:57.540 So there's the update on Prince Andrew.
00:14:01.740 Now, I guess we all knew in the 70s and 80s, I remember him being called Randy Andy.
00:14:06.180 Randy Andy.
00:14:07.080 History of being a party boy.
00:14:08.800 I mean, that's what we all knew him as.
00:14:10.940 International playboy, Prince Andrew.
00:14:13.100 Well, he got...
00:14:14.160 Randy Andy happened...
00:14:15.880 There were a couple of things that happened.
00:14:17.340 Number one, if you'll recall, Andrew went to a private school out near Peter Rowe, Ontario.
00:14:23.100 He did.
00:14:23.500 He went to Lakefield.
00:14:25.040 Lakefield.
00:14:25.740 Yeah.
00:14:25.840 So, and a friend of mine went to Lakefield.
00:14:27.860 And actually, Andrew was there while my friend was at Lakefield.
00:14:30.600 Okay.
00:14:30.940 And if you'll recall, there was the skinny dipping incident where Andrew got caught in photos naked jumping into the lake with all the boys from the rugby team or whatever it was.
00:14:42.320 Okay.
00:14:42.620 So it's...
00:14:43.740 Everybody kind of went, all right, he's weird.
00:14:45.640 That doesn't look good on the royals.
00:14:46.860 Fine.
00:14:47.500 Then the Randy Andy thing started because he began dating a woman by the name of Ku Stark.
00:14:53.820 Oh, and she was a adult film?
00:14:57.180 Was she had...
00:14:58.060 Soft...
00:14:58.660 I don't know.
00:14:59.580 She was in some movie called Emily or The Adventures of or The Life of.
00:15:04.900 I don't know what it was.
00:15:05.900 But I recall the plot, interestingly enough, was about a 17-year-old girl who was forced to have sex with an older, I believe, aristocratic man.
00:15:20.080 So it's kind of, like, odd how art imitates life.
00:15:26.200 The fact Virginia G. Free was 17 or claimed to be.
00:15:31.000 Ku Stark played a 17-year-old in lingerie.
00:15:34.780 And Andrew wound up dating her.
00:15:37.500 And that would have been in the 80s sometime.
00:15:40.460 What does she have to say about this?
00:15:41.880 Well, I think that from what I recall and what I've read over the years, because I, you know, the odd time you just go online, you're like, you just sort of.
00:15:50.520 So I think that Ku Stark came out and said, no, no, he's not that kind of man.
00:15:56.020 But I don't buy it because they were wrapped up in all of the media at the time.
00:16:01.520 This was before the internet and it was on the front page of every newspaper.
00:16:04.560 And maybe the royal family wanted Ku Stark to go away, and maybe the royal family paid Ku Stark a tidy sum of money to go away.
00:16:14.080 And when she went away, part of the deal was, don't say anything bad about Andrew.
00:16:17.480 You're not allowed to.
00:16:18.620 And that's it.
00:16:19.400 So some photos have surfaced over the years of them standing next to one another, but that's really about it.
00:16:25.200 I just find it really ironic that he was drawn to an actress who played a 17-year-old girl.
00:16:32.400 And then he was convicted or has been accused, not convicted, but he has been sued and that has been, that has been resolved.
00:16:40.500 And so it's a similar, it's like art, life mimicking art.
00:16:45.940 So Ku Stark got a payout, Virginia Jufri got a payout of $11 million, I think, which is bizarre to me because why on earth?
00:16:54.600 Look, if somebody accuses me of something that I didn't do, especially something like that, I'm fighting tooth and nail,
00:17:00.680 especially if I have that kind of money, if I have his kind of money, if I've got f*** you money.
00:17:06.280 Yeah.
00:17:06.560 I'm sorry, you'll have to bleep that out.
00:17:08.240 But if Nick, over to you.
00:17:09.760 If I've got that kind of money, I'm not, I'm not saying I did it.
00:17:15.200 I'm not paying you to go away.
00:17:16.940 Here's the problem.
00:17:18.500 He doesn't even have that kind of money.
00:17:21.000 No, you know who does?
00:17:23.280 The British people.
00:17:24.780 Well, that's the thing.
00:17:25.660 I mean, he's now cut off.
00:17:27.280 Let's talk about this.
00:17:28.220 This guy is just his private security costs around 3 million pounds a year.
00:17:35.360 His last means of income at the moment seemed to be his Navy pension, which is 20,000 pounds per year.
00:17:43.000 He has a net worth of an estimated 3 to 5 million pounds.
00:17:46.940 That means next year his security detail will bankrupt him.
00:17:51.100 He doesn't have a home because he has a lease on a home for 75 years that he pays a peppercorn for.
00:17:58.120 So he doesn't have an asset.
00:17:58.940 Hang on, is that real?
00:18:00.080 Yeah, I guess.
00:18:00.800 Okay.
00:18:01.480 They probably...
00:18:02.160 Like, it's the royal family.
00:18:03.300 I'm guessing that they forgo the peppercorn.
00:18:05.700 All right, okay.
00:18:06.580 Although, who knows what Charles will hold you to.
00:18:09.760 But having said that, he'll likely get evicted from Royal Lodge.
00:18:14.900 And after that, he really has zero money.
00:18:18.400 So what happens, do you think, to the bankrupt prince?
00:18:24.940 I don't think the bankrupt prince is going to live very long.
00:18:29.220 I think he's too much of a liability.
00:18:31.220 I think he's too much of a liability on the world stage.
00:18:33.860 I think he knows too much.
00:18:35.020 I think he's too connected to Epstein.
00:18:36.400 I mean, I'm pretty sure Prince William and Kate want nothing to do with him.
00:18:40.880 Well, they've actually said, you know, you should leave Royal Lodge.
00:18:45.440 You should leave.
00:18:46.380 Nick, over to you.
00:18:48.120 I would say Dancing with the Stars might be...
00:18:51.340 Oh!
00:18:53.780 You know what, Nick?
00:18:54.840 So far, that's the best financial solution for him.
00:18:57.520 It wouldn't surprise me, though.
00:18:59.100 Right?
00:18:59.460 Or maybe they should put him on that TV series 90 Days In and see how he lasts.
00:19:03.700 Maybe he'll become a slap fighter.
00:19:04.920 That would probably be the best thing for him, because he bloody well deserves it.
00:19:09.040 Well, there you go.
00:19:09.740 The thing is...
00:19:10.880 Even imagine his face is...
00:19:13.020 No, no, no.
00:19:13.560 My royal face came right off.
00:19:15.380 Just his massive royal head.
00:19:18.620 But I think what he's trying to do now,
00:19:20.760 he's trying to negotiate his way out of the cottage that he lives in on the grounds.
00:19:25.560 Yeah.
00:19:25.960 And move into Harry and Meghan's old place.
00:19:29.400 And then he wants another place for Sarah, because they still live together.
00:19:32.700 Well, this is the whole thing.
00:19:35.140 You are a creep.
00:19:37.480 You are embarrassing the family.
00:19:39.220 You can have no demands.
00:19:42.020 How's that?
00:19:42.940 Zero demands.
00:19:44.000 I think at very best, Prince Charles solves his financial woes between now and his retirement years.
00:19:51.240 And he's asked to be quiet and go away.
00:19:54.840 I think you're right.
00:19:56.000 Maybe to a commonwealth country, a Caribbean location where he can be really hemmed in by the royal family and by a lot of legal rules.
00:20:05.500 Well, with a guy like him, though, because he's such an infant, I don't know that they'll be able to hold him to anything.
00:20:14.880 I think he's such a loose cannon.
00:20:17.180 No, Zidane, they can't just put down Prince Andrew.
00:20:19.860 I know where you're going with this.
00:20:21.780 You can't just put down a loved one in the family.
00:20:23.940 I think they should drive Prince Andrew to the farm, right?
00:20:27.020 Never mind.
00:20:27.580 Give him to a nice farmer.
00:20:28.520 It's okay.
00:20:29.020 That's it.
00:20:29.660 Hey, kids.
00:20:30.680 Eugenie, Princess Eugenie.
00:20:32.260 We dropped that off at the farm.
00:20:33.000 Dad's off at the farm.
00:20:34.400 And that's what it is.
00:20:34.840 Okay, never mind.
00:20:35.680 Forget this idea.
00:20:37.260 Well, it's a possibility, depending on how far he's gone down the rabbit hole.
00:20:41.160 But this financial situation, I point this out because he and his ex-wife there.
00:20:48.680 Sarah?
00:20:49.220 Sarah Ferguson.
00:20:50.420 Thank you.
00:20:51.320 Duchess.
00:20:52.440 Okay.
00:20:53.420 I had a dog named Duchess.
00:20:54.680 Oh, did you?
00:20:55.200 Yeah.
00:20:55.840 A golden retriever, by any chance?
00:20:57.140 No.
00:20:57.700 Okay, just seeing if there was any sense.
00:20:59.320 Anyway.
00:20:59.700 Just a mutt.
00:21:00.640 So, essentially, they've always had financial issues.
00:21:08.800 Yeah.
00:21:08.960 He doesn't do anything for a living.
00:21:10.520 She had to borrow money.
00:21:11.880 Yeah.
00:21:12.620 Yeah.
00:21:13.440 And, in fact, he's going to have to do the same thing, and I think he has already.
00:21:16.760 What I'm thinking is that the financial stress and having to go to his brother and having to scrap and it was getting tougher to sponge, I think that's the door that opens to Jeffrey Epstein.
00:21:29.560 And I think he somehow sees that desperation in the prince and says to him, you know, I can throw you a job, a high-paying job every year that will offset the cost of this.
00:21:39.120 You just have to be one of my guys, one of the people out there closing the deals with me.
00:21:43.340 And I think we're going to find out that he did open a lot of those doors through his royal connections and through his ability to be a head of state visiting another head of state.
00:21:54.880 I don't see it that way.
00:21:57.180 I think the royal family wants him gone, and I think out of desperation, Andrew is going to go back and rely on the Epstein circle.
00:22:05.820 There's still a lot of powerful people in the center of that circle.
00:22:08.580 If Epstein's gone, then another Epstein's going to pop up.
00:22:11.600 So who's the next Epstein?
00:22:13.720 That's what everybody should be asking themselves.
00:22:15.760 Who's Andrew going to latch on to?
00:22:17.340 Because they might approach him.
00:22:19.380 Yeah, he's an easy mark, it seems.
00:22:21.080 He knows too much.
00:22:22.580 Yeah.
00:22:23.000 Right?
00:22:23.260 The royals know too much, but when I say the royals, I mean Charles and Camilla and the next king.
00:22:30.960 Isn't it weird?
00:22:31.680 I always forget Camilla's even there.
00:22:33.800 No, I don't forget her.
00:22:34.840 I forget her only because she's so like a...
00:22:37.680 I had a dog named Camilla.
00:22:39.740 Golden Retriever?
00:22:41.300 No.
00:22:41.880 Just asking.
00:22:43.100 So...
00:22:43.180 A mutt.
00:22:44.420 Okay.
00:22:45.360 So having said that, having said that, I often forget, because she's very low-key, Camilla.
00:22:55.700 Evil.
00:22:56.560 Oh, not that low-key.
00:22:57.680 You mean low-key.
00:22:58.740 No, no, not low-key.
00:23:00.860 Okay.
00:23:01.240 No.
00:23:01.540 Low-key.
00:23:03.300 She plays it quiet, pretty much.
00:23:05.840 She doesn't...
00:23:06.640 She's not out there as an attention grabber.
00:23:09.140 No.
00:23:09.300 She kind of handles it right.
00:23:10.400 She's dignified.
00:23:11.500 She does her charitable work.
00:23:12.520 She stands there, puts on nice hats.
00:23:14.260 Yeah.
00:23:14.580 And she's basically furniture.
00:23:16.420 You like those hats?
00:23:16.920 I hate her hats.
00:23:17.820 Why did you say nice hats then?
00:23:19.100 Because that's all that she knows.
00:23:20.100 She knows hats.
00:23:20.800 Yeah.
00:23:20.980 She doesn't look good in clothes.
00:23:22.220 So it's just a hat.
00:23:22.920 What is a hat maker?
00:23:24.040 What do you call those guys?
00:23:25.740 She has a heck of a...
00:23:27.640 What do you call it?
00:23:28.660 Can you look this up?
00:23:29.700 I think it's a...
00:23:30.540 It's a hatter.
00:23:31.620 No, it's not called a hatter.
00:23:32.860 They're called a milner.
00:23:34.300 She's a mad hatter.
00:23:35.540 It's a hatter.
00:23:36.080 No, it's not.
00:23:36.820 It's a milner.
00:23:37.520 Somebody look this up.
00:23:38.720 Hey, can you do me a favor, please, and check that out for me, Kristoff?
00:23:41.700 I think it's a milner.
00:23:42.780 She has a heck of a milner.
00:23:44.680 You sure?
00:23:45.640 Yeah.
00:23:46.080 That sounds pornographic.
00:23:47.780 It's not at all.
00:23:48.980 A hatter sounds pornographic.
00:23:50.560 No, milner sounds pornographic.
00:23:52.660 You know what?
00:23:53.540 Actually, I hate to even bring it back around on this front, but as long as...
00:23:57.620 So anyway, there's Prince Andrew.
00:23:59.100 He's in trouble now.
00:24:00.200 Yeah.
00:24:00.440 By the way, all these images and security...
00:24:03.760 What's the deal?
00:24:05.080 You got it there.
00:24:05.880 I'm milner.
00:24:06.620 Thank you.
00:24:07.580 Thank you very much.
00:24:08.600 Nick, you had applause you wanted to put in there?
00:24:13.760 But yeah, no, I never see her as a big problem in the royal family, because like you
00:24:19.220 say, she does her thing.
00:24:21.180 Edward, you never hear about him.
00:24:23.680 No.
00:24:23.940 You never hear about Margaret.
00:24:25.400 You never hear about them, except when something good is going on.
00:24:29.480 But his whole life, I think Andrew's been in this situation where he makes bad decisions,
00:24:33.320 and the British people are not surprised that he's...
00:24:36.440 Well, he's always trying to upstage.
00:24:38.380 He has been his entire life.
00:24:40.620 He knew that he was number two.
00:24:42.400 It sucks to be number two.
00:24:44.420 Yeah.
00:24:44.800 Right?
00:24:45.240 Yeah.
00:24:45.460 You know what I mean?
00:24:46.380 Like, if you eat bad food, number two is really a horrible thing to have happen.
00:24:52.560 I don't see this.
00:24:53.260 When you're number two in the royal family, you are...
00:24:56.940 Okay.
00:24:57.720 So, I understand.
00:24:59.220 You might as well be considered...
00:25:00.880 Okay, so having said that, you're right.
00:25:02.840 He's kind of been in the shadows his whole life, and doing the best that he can to be
00:25:06.360 the star of the show...
00:25:07.960 Right.
00:25:08.280 ...at any moment he can, when his brother's there, or his mother was there, keeping a
00:25:13.240 low profile.
00:25:13.800 Well, he's, the queen, oh, my Andrew, right?
00:25:19.520 And Andrew knew, you know what, I'm better looking than Charles.
00:25:21.920 He's got the big ears, and the large head, and the big nose, and jowls.
00:25:25.320 No, I'm better.
00:25:26.000 And I'm a, I look better in a uniform, and, oh, you know what, I date better looking women
00:25:31.160 than he does, and I'm a philanderer, and I'm, you know, like, he was always in the media.
00:25:36.440 He was party boy.
00:25:37.500 Yeah.
00:25:37.680 And party boy doesn't work after 35.
00:25:41.780 I'll be honest with you, I never thought that I'd sit and talk about the royal family
00:25:45.160 with one of my guys.
00:25:47.020 Well, I really, I didn't look at tea.
00:25:51.640 Okay, look, before we get out of here, though, speaking of, speaking of magic attention getters,
00:25:58.120 have you seen the relationship going on right now?
00:26:01.480 I did.
00:26:02.020 With Trudeau.
00:26:02.820 I knew you were going to go here.
00:26:04.020 And Katie Carey?
00:26:04.420 Yeah.
00:26:05.160 Yeah, it's pathetic, actually.
00:26:06.860 Why?
00:26:07.140 Okay, I wanted to know what your opinion was of this.
00:26:09.600 The guy can't have love.
00:26:10.740 He's divorced, he's in a new world, he's retired from a position of power.
00:26:16.780 He's a nerd.
00:26:18.360 Okay, thank God somebody else said that.
00:26:19.840 He's a freaking nerd.
00:26:20.860 Trudeau is the biggest nerd.
00:26:22.240 He's a weirdo.
00:26:23.400 Everybody knows he's a weirdo.
00:26:25.040 Yeah.
00:26:25.360 Right?
00:26:25.680 Do you think that Katy Perry is going to last very long with him?
00:26:30.240 When every second word out of his mouth is um or ah, and he's always going to be trying
00:26:36.420 to teach her a lesson when she has more money than he does?
00:26:40.580 This is a setup.
00:26:41.820 Just like it was with his father.
00:26:43.280 A what?
00:26:43.560 With his father.
00:26:44.040 It's a setup.
00:26:44.760 For who?
00:26:45.460 It's a media thing.
00:26:46.680 Get the photo.
00:26:47.400 Set the photo up.
00:26:48.220 Great.
00:26:48.440 Grab her ass.
00:26:49.100 That's great.
00:26:49.560 We'll do this from a long distance lens.
00:26:51.040 Fantastic.
00:26:51.860 It's bringing him back into the media for a reason.
00:26:54.460 You coordinated this whole effort, by the way.
00:26:56.220 Because it's always coordinated.
00:26:57.920 You had that plan?
00:26:59.000 Nick, maybe I'm wrong, but that sounded to me like Zidane actually was the PR firm here.
00:27:03.060 It's always coordinated.
00:27:04.720 It is.
00:27:05.320 This type of stuff doesn't just happen.
00:27:07.040 When would they have an opportunity to meet?
00:27:09.200 Think about that.
00:27:10.100 Nick, do we know where they met?
00:27:13.320 I do not know where they met.
00:27:14.840 Okay.
00:27:15.080 Nobody knows where they met.
00:27:16.020 They just showed up.
00:27:16.920 All of a sudden, he's at her concert.
00:27:18.360 The next thing you know, the next photo is them on a yacht.
00:27:20.020 Oh, yeah, they met at her concert.
00:27:20.800 Oh, really?
00:27:21.860 Yeah.
00:27:22.000 And a couple of weeks later, they're on a yacht, and he's,
00:27:24.460 playing grab ass with her?
00:27:25.860 Perfectly normal.
00:27:27.460 Sure it is.
00:27:28.560 What's the plan?
00:27:29.760 What are they trying to do with him?
00:27:31.600 What are they trying to do with her?
00:27:33.080 He needs to get back in the media.
00:27:34.720 She's popular.
00:27:35.440 Why does he need to be back in the media?
00:27:36.940 He has enough to retire on.
00:27:38.460 Because he's...
00:27:39.280 He should be laying low based on some of the charges I see leveled against him by Canadians right now.
00:27:44.600 No, because he's like Andrew.
00:27:46.240 He has to grasp fame.
00:27:47.980 He needs something.
00:27:49.120 He needs something to hang on to.
00:27:50.980 He always professes to be this wise sort of guy.
00:27:54.560 He's not.
00:27:55.380 He's a moron.
00:27:56.140 He's like a part-time drama teacher.
00:27:58.140 Or whatever.
00:27:59.160 And prime minister.
00:28:00.340 But having said that, he's now out on the speaking circuit.
00:28:04.060 Oh, there we go.
00:28:04.980 And...
00:28:05.820 How much?
00:28:06.640 I think it's $100,000 in appearance.
00:28:10.080 Not bad.
00:28:11.260 Not bad.
00:28:11.580 Are you kidding me?
00:28:13.460 Christoph, do me a favor and just like...
00:28:15.200 Can you raise my rate just a little bit and see if we can get any takers on that?
00:28:19.000 Like, even if I have to do less, for more it would be better.
00:28:21.440 What does he have to say that's of relevance to anyone in the universe?
00:28:26.440 Well, he's a big guy on global warming, you see.
00:28:30.940 So he might have...
00:28:31.620 They might have that in common.
00:28:34.580 What does he understand about it?
00:28:36.720 I can't tell you because...
00:28:38.060 Could you see him and Elon Musk sharing a stage in a debate?
00:28:40.560 No, you see him and his family.
00:28:41.440 Don't forget, he and his family used water boxes at that time.
00:28:46.360 I don't know if you recall, but his family was using water boxes.
00:28:49.480 And that was so that they could drink water from boxes.
00:28:54.480 Right.
00:28:55.280 The man has nothing to offer.
00:28:57.740 They've got to put him out in the media.
00:28:59.120 It raises his profile.
00:29:00.600 They charge a few extra bucks.
00:29:01.900 In six to eight months, Katy Perry, gone.
00:29:05.540 Right?
00:29:05.840 Oh, they broke up.
00:29:06.820 It's sad.
00:29:07.220 You think that she's part of his speaking circuit price?
00:29:13.100 How do you not see that?
00:29:14.440 I do see that.
00:29:15.500 I do see that.
00:29:16.420 And by the way, if you're smart, you'll try to book both of them for your next event.
00:29:20.640 How much do you think she's been...
00:29:22.620 You can just book them and they can kiss.
00:29:23.900 She's being paid.
00:29:26.360 Somebody's agent called her agent and said,
00:29:28.720 we need to raise Trudeau's profile right now.
00:29:30.800 American Idol's coming up.
00:29:32.040 So why don't...
00:29:32.580 Or whatever the hell she's doing next, right?
00:29:34.820 So she gets paid.
00:29:36.220 They go out.
00:29:37.120 They kiss.
00:29:37.600 They play grab ass on a boat.
00:29:39.040 Everything.
00:29:39.720 All these photos.
00:29:40.800 They're all staged.
00:29:42.280 Like, come on.
00:29:43.220 You're not standing on...
00:29:44.360 You're not standing on the bow of a boat playing grab ass with Katy Perry in a perfect profile
00:29:50.460 so that both of you can be seen, you know, your hand on her ass, your perfect profile.
00:29:55.500 You think that they're actually going to do that out of the blue?
00:29:59.660 I think it's a possibility.
00:30:01.000 I love my wife.
00:30:01.640 She's beautiful.
00:30:02.580 Yeah.
00:30:02.880 I don't stand around and grab her ass.
00:30:05.140 I don't do that.
00:30:06.320 Well, I mean, not even for photos?
00:30:08.380 Not even for a photo pop.
00:30:09.420 Not even for photos.
00:30:10.240 Exactly.
00:30:10.580 You know what?
00:30:13.020 A little bit of that in your marriage, by the way, I don't think it would hurt.
00:30:15.500 So having said that, I do believe that it might be a real relationship.
00:30:20.600 I don't know that it's going to last for long.
00:30:22.680 If it is staged, it's badly staged.
00:30:25.400 He does look like a nerd with the pretty girl.
00:30:28.160 Have you...
00:30:28.980 Look at how nervous he looks in his photos.
00:30:31.240 He never looks natural.
00:30:32.260 When he's taking a photo and posing, he looks unnatural in everything.
00:30:36.200 You watch him in the media and the way that he tilts his head, the way he furrows his brow and stuff like that.
00:30:41.720 Watch him at the Katy Perry concert where they got that one shot of him sort of in the front row off to the side.
00:30:46.820 And you can see he's got this look on his face.
00:30:48.340 Like he knows the effing cameras right there on side stage.
00:30:51.280 Watch your mouth.
00:30:52.460 And I think you're right about that.
00:30:53.840 He is very lens aware.
00:30:56.580 He's very...
00:30:57.040 He's always modeling like a Sears catalog.
00:31:00.200 Yeah.
00:31:00.680 He couldn't do porn.
00:31:01.520 He'd always be looking at the camera.
00:31:02.960 Okay.
00:31:03.320 On that note, Nick, you have any thoughts on this, man?
00:31:05.940 When you...
00:31:06.420 I know that you...
00:31:07.200 I saw you bubbling up earlier today with tee hees and laughter over there.
00:31:11.780 Well, guys, I have to disagree with both of you.
00:31:16.420 I feel like this is a perfect match.
00:31:18.280 I mean, we have Katy Perry.
00:31:19.500 What?
00:31:19.660 Who's the greatest singer of all time.
00:31:22.460 Don't dispute me.
00:31:23.280 Oh, God.
00:31:23.960 I just threw up in my mouth.
00:31:24.880 What happened just now?
00:31:26.480 And she's dating Justin Trudeau, who's the greatest prime minister of all time.
00:31:30.580 Okay.
00:31:31.120 No.
00:31:31.520 All right.
00:31:32.440 You had a point.
00:31:34.580 Yes.
00:31:34.860 Now I want them to break up immediately.
00:31:37.980 Nick, you fill me with the urge to defecate.
00:31:40.500 You just have Trudeau derangement syndrome.
00:31:43.420 No, we don't.
00:31:44.300 The guy's a nerd.
00:31:45.320 Trudeau derangement.
00:31:46.840 I mean, I'm going to pull up a graphic here.
00:31:50.720 Yeah.
00:31:50.960 Yeah, go ahead.
00:31:52.060 So this is them here.
00:31:53.980 See, look at I'm posing.
00:31:55.220 See, look at everything there.
00:31:57.180 I want to, you know, I do have one criticism about this pairing is that it's just not diverse
00:32:03.220 enough.
00:32:05.820 Can we throw a, can we throw a, let's get Lizzo in there.
00:32:10.200 Let's get Lizzo in there.
00:32:11.420 It'll be a throuple.
00:32:13.360 Okay.
00:32:14.880 Does that sound good?
00:32:15.600 All right.
00:32:19.500 I'm done.
00:32:19.980 I didn't see diversity as a problem.
00:32:22.380 But now that you pointed out, well done, Nick.
00:32:24.660 Good one, Nick.
00:32:25.480 All right.
00:32:25.840 Well, look, I think we did enough damage on the Daily Cancel.
00:32:28.880 Don't forget to subscribe.
00:32:30.200 I'm sorry about today's show, but there'll be a better one tomorrow.
00:32:33.780 Don't forget to share it with a friend.
00:32:35.600 Not this episode, other ones.
00:32:37.380 And we'll catch you next time.
00:32:38.920 Thanks.
00:32:39.320 Bye.
