In this episode, I talk about the growing intellectual rift between the right and left-wing wing of the conservative movement, immigration, trade, and the "Nanny State," and why we don't want to create a right-wing version of the leftist "nanny state" that was created in the name of helping certain communities in the United States. Instead, we want to dismantle the nanny state and its regulatory apparatus to help a different group of people, American workers and manufacturers. That's the opposite of what progressives have been trying to achieve over the last 60 years, and it's time to take a hard look at how they have failed to achieve their own objectives on their own terms, and how they should be trying to help other people achieve theirs. I also talk about why we should be concerned about immigration and trade with other countries, and what we should do about it, and why it's a good idea to have a government that focuses on protecting American workers, manufacturers, and consumers. I also discuss the role of the Great Society in helping minority communities, and minorities, as opposed to helping them achieve their goals through policies that coddle and coddles them, rather than helping them, in order to help them achieve them, as part of the larger agenda of the so-called "Great Society." I'm joined by my guest, Dr. Ferguson Ferguson, who is a professor of political science at the University of St. Johns Hopkins Law School and a regular contributor to the New York Times bestselling author. and host of the podcast First Listen. I hope you'll join me in this conversation about the emerging intellectual rift within the America First movement, and its impact on the political landscape. .
