00:00:00.060 Project Freedom. So Project Freedom is something that was just dropped this morning.
00:00:04.940 And Tom, I'm going to come to you first on this one here.
00:00:07.280 Rob, what page is Project Freedom on?
00:00:09.300 This is the whole story about them helping ships go through, okay,
00:00:15.320 and they're escorting these things to make sure you don't hit a mine.
00:00:18.740 Iran is not happy about it because that's saying that's breaking the ceasefire.
00:00:22.760 Nobody knows yet who the $2 million is going to with Project Ceasefire.
00:00:26.600 Rob, if you want to go to the president's tweet first, and then I'll go into this clip.
00:00:30.780 Countries from all over the world, almost all of which are not involved in the Middle East disputes,
00:00:35.000 are going on so visibly and violently for all to see, have asked the U.S.
00:00:40.880 if we could help free up their ships, which are locked up in the Strait of Hormuz,
00:00:44.820 on something which they have absolutely nothing to do with.
00:00:47.960 They are merely neutral and innocent bystanders for the good of Iran, the Middle East, and the United States.
00:00:53.760 We have told these countries that we will guide their ships safely out of their restricted waterways so that they can freely and ably get on with their business.
00:01:03.840 Again, these are ships from areas of the world that are not in any way involved with which is currently taking place in the Middle East.
00:01:11.060 I've told my representative to inform that we will use best effort to get their ships and cruise safely out of the strait.
00:01:18.520 In all cases, they said they will not be returning until the area is becoming safe for navigation.
00:01:23.760 and everything else this process project freedom will begin monday morning middle east
00:01:27.760 time i'm fully aware that my representative are having their very positive discussions with the
00:01:31.280 country of iran and that these can uh discussions could lead to something very positive for all the
00:01:36.560 ship movement is merely meant to free up people companies and countries that have done absolutely
00:01:41.280 nothing wrong they are victims of circumstances this is a humanitarian gesture on behalf of the
00:01:45.600 united states middle eastern countries in particular the country of iran many of these
00:01:49.760 these ships are running low on food and many of these ships are running low on food and are
00:01:54.100 necessary for large-scale crews to stay on board in a healthy and sanitary manner, I think could
00:01:58.400 go a long way in showing goodwill on behalf of all those who have been fighting so strenuously
00:02:04.380 over the last number of months. So, Tom, why is this such a big deal? This is a big deal for a
00:02:09.160 couple of reasons. The first reason it's a big deal is because it allows things to start moving
00:02:14.300 through the Gulf. And additionally, that last comment there was real. Some of these people
00:02:19.960 have been on ships for a while. The ships are low on food, fresh water. They've had some
00:02:25.080 replenishment. But the point is, it's been problematic. They haven't been able to pull
00:02:29.120 over to Costco and fill up on their regular provisions. And so number one, you got to get
00:02:35.340 some cargo moving through the Gulf, which is good. And number two, it shows that the U.S. has been
00:02:42.000 effective. Why is Iran saying, Pat, oh, you're violating the ceasefire when no shots have been
00:02:49.180 fired? Why are they saying that? Because this is not what they wanted. And over the last three
00:02:53.920 weeks, U.S. minesweepers have been going on what's called the original southern lanes. Do we have a
00:03:00.180 map up there, Rob? The original southern lanes were the ones that were right close to Oman, UAE,
00:03:06.460 Very, very close on the tip.
00:03:08.520 It's the map we've had for the—there you go.
00:03:11.660 So you can see here the map.
00:03:13.660 You see there, Pat?
00:03:14.660 You have the ones that were closest to Oman and Qasab. 0.94
00:03:18.640 Those were the original lanes, and those were the ones where Iran had put the mines.
00:03:23.460 And remember they said, oh, well, we dropped off some mines.
00:03:26.420 We just don't—we forgot where we put them.
00:03:27.880 Where, exactly.
00:03:28.660 Yeah, so the U.S. has had drones and minesweepers in the area.
00:03:33.120 Remember we covered the minesweepers coming to the area along with drone subs, and the drone subs go underwater and sometimes send signals that cause some of these mines to detonate underwater, and then they fall to the bottom of the straits.
00:03:46.660 Whereas Iran wanted the mining there so they could force everybody to go up to, am I mispronouncing this, Keshem Island that's up there, where they would charge them a fee to go there.
00:04:00.500 So what the U.S. has done is kind of semi-opened some of the southern lanes.
00:04:05.340 And what the U.S. military, who has mapped it, is now saying, Pat, hey, you need to get your ship through.
00:04:10.760 Listen, take this path about like this.
00:04:13.540 You should be good because we've been out there sweeping for mines.
00:04:16.900 Thank you very much.
00:04:17.720 I'm going to go through. 1.00
00:04:18.940 Iran, wait a minute. 1.00
00:04:20.120 You can't do that. 0.98
00:04:21.020 That violates the ceasefire.
00:04:22.260 Wait a minute.
00:04:22.960 What does violating a ceasefire have to do when all I'm doing is I'm also escorting at a distance?
00:04:28.500 What they're doing, it's like security is really what it is, Pat.
00:04:32.740 It's like security.
00:04:34.100 So it's like Iran sees a U.S. frigate shadowing a foreign tanker just trying to go through the strait,
00:04:41.360 and Iran knows that if it launches things out there that we're going to – that would be a violation of a ceasefire –
00:04:47.700 that we're going to knock them out of the sky. 0.96
00:04:49.080 So have a nice day.
00:04:49.920 So the reason this is significant is the U.S. has got the strait moving a little bit,
00:04:56.020 and it shows that the mine-sweeping activity has been somewhat effective
00:05:01.620 and we're trying to get things going and we're trying to get it open.
00:05:05.820 A lot of people would say it's a long time coming.
00:05:07.840 It's taken longer than I would have hoped it would.
00:05:09.980 But it shows that there's movement and it shows that there's positive progress.
00:05:14.220 But Violeta Ceasefire, the guy screaming about that, Pat,
00:05:17.800 is because we've sort of foiled some of their sea mine plot.
00:05:23.940 Sea mine plot?
00:05:25.600 Yeah, because they put the mines everywhere.
00:05:27.400 And by the way, we're talking about 100 to roughly 1,600 vessels,
00:05:31.280 20,000 crew workers that are on these ships, depending on the sizes.
00:05:35.480 They're sitting there.
00:05:36.020 Some of these guys are like, dude, I need to eat something.
00:05:38.180 You know, they're running out of basic supply.
00:05:40.000 So it's not like they're going to be like, hey, let's go to Iran.
00:05:43.340 Let's go to dinner over there.
00:05:44.940 Let's go to come back.
00:05:45.620 You can't do that.
00:05:46.280 Like, get on small little boats and go out there.
00:05:48.180 It's a different kind of a situation.
00:05:50.500 Every three to four years, we find ways to improve value attainment,
00:05:56.720 and I'm talking about with the public, so I want to hear commentary from the public.
00:06:00.360 We want to get feedback on what things can happen better with PBD Podcasts,
00:06:04.900 what content you want to see improve in, business, how-to, whatever it is that we cover.
00:06:10.160 We want to get your feedback and your input.
00:06:12.040 So here's what we're doing.
00:06:12.900 We are creating a survey.
00:06:14.840 Anybody that texts the word PBD to 310-340-1132, again, text the word PBD to 310-340-1132,
00:06:26.580 you will automatically get a survey to do.
00:06:29.760 And I think the survey is, you know, a couple basic questions to ask about everybody here,
00:06:34.500 about what things can happen better, all the things that we can improve in.
00:06:37.840 And for anybody that completes the survey, beginning to the end, all of it answers,
00:06:42.380 We're giving a $25 gift card to the store.
00:06:44.860 It doesn't matter if it's 50,000 people that take it or 5,000 people that take it.
00:06:50.240 Everyone gets a $25 gift card to vtmerch.com.
00:06:53.720 Go purchase whatever you want.
00:06:55.020 You have a $25 gift card for completing the survey because we want to hear from you.
00:06:59.720 This thing started off.
00:07:00.640 It started off with me doing a couple basic videos with Mario, two minutes with Pat,
00:07:04.980 with me in pink socks, the first episode we ever did.
00:07:07.700 Till today, it haunts me every time I see those pink socks.
00:07:10.280 You know, and the way I'm sitting on that couch, Rob,
00:07:12.560 if you want to show the first clip we ever did on Valuetainment,
00:07:15.340 it really inspires me to know how far along we've come
00:07:18.840 and all the board videos we used to do to then starting the podcast.
00:07:23.820 Yeah, if you go there, go to videos and go to the oldest right there
00:07:27.440 and go to that one right there.
00:07:28.980 No, go to the second one, Rob.
00:07:30.820 Look at those things.
00:07:31.560 Go a little bit right there, the second one.
00:07:33.180 Look at the way I'm sitting.
00:07:33.920 Go to 40 seconds.
00:07:36.020 Look at the way I'm sitting.
00:07:37.500 Just right there is fine, Rob.
00:07:39.260 Okay?
00:07:39.460 I mean, it's like horrible, right?
00:07:42.900 What is that?
00:07:43.400 That's the first video ever.
00:07:44.620 That's Woodland Hills.
00:07:45.540 I mean, that's the mountains.
00:07:46.680 Imagine your shirt, though.
00:07:47.680 You can't even look it up.
00:07:48.240 I think it's 2013, whatever it is, when I wrote a book.
00:07:50.480 Look at the smog out there.
00:07:51.300 So now, PBD Podcast is where it's at.
00:07:53.100 So it wouldn't happen without you.
00:07:55.740 Everywhere I go and I run into people and we talk and we have different stories that we discuss,
00:08:00.060 it's always great, the relationship that we have together for those guys that tune in.
00:08:04.100 So it would mean a lot to us if you can go do the survey.
00:08:06.940 Again, text the word PBD to 310-340-1132, and we'll send the link for you to do the survey.
00:08:13.340 Or, Rob, what is the link that they can go to?
00:08:15.780 Do you have the link?
00:08:16.660 I do.
00:08:17.120 It is survey.vt.com.
00:08:20.480 Can you also put that in the comments section, in the chat, in the description, everywhere so people can go do it?
00:08:26.380 Yep.
00:08:27.520 We're going to thank you, Jake, for that as well, the voice of God.
00:08:30.960 Thank you.
00:08:31.260 we will make sure to read every single one of the piece of feedback you put
00:08:36.100 because we want to hear from you.
00:08:37.540 And by the way, you may say, who am I?
00:08:39.140 You guys don't need to hear from me.
00:08:40.100 We want to hear from everybody, from the guy that is a CEO of a Fortune 100 company
00:08:44.360 that watches a podcast regularly and messages me,
00:08:47.040 to the person that watches you, you're a family, you're a farmer,
