Valuetainment - “Ban The N＊＊＊as Using Them” - Black Commentator Rips Wes Moore’s New Glock Law

In this episode, I sit down with a good friend of mine, Andre Williams, to discuss the current state of the Democratic Party in America and how it relates to the Black community. Andre has been a long-time member of the Baltimore City Council and has been involved in politics for a long time. He has been in and out of politics for the past 20 years and is currently running for mayor of Baltimore in the upcoming election.

00:00:00.000 So, Mayor, I'd actually like to see you run for me.

00:00:03.280 I'd like to see how the market would react if you ran.

00:00:05.960 It would be chaotic.

00:00:06.980 Well, I'd like to see what would happen if you ran because I think, you know,

00:00:11.280 what I do like is I like to see every one of these conversations being out there

00:00:15.560 and seeing how the market would react to it for a young guy like you.

00:00:19.980 By the way, did you hear about Wes Moore?

00:00:21.440 We just had him on the podcast I think three weeks ago, four weeks ago.

00:00:24.140 he made a what is the idea the thing he wants to do with banning glocks did you see this

00:00:31.260 mayor westmore signed a bill 334 into law which prohibits the future sale manufacturing future

00:00:37.240 and purchase of handguns including most glock and glock style models that can be easily and

00:00:43.560 quickly converted into fully automatic machine guns what do you think about westmore's idea

00:00:48.460 it's ridiculous why are you going to ban the gun i'm not going to ban the tool i'm going to ban 0.99

00:00:51.360 the nigga using it what i mean by that you have to go against go again after the people who are 0.99

00:00:55.900 committing these crimes why not be tough on crime being tough on the gun i'm gonna ban hammers 0.92

00:01:00.580 because people using hammers now to beat people no i'm gonna go after people doing it be aggressive

00:01:05.240 and combatants and he's from maryland i mean i mean look at the area look at that entire area

00:01:10.160 over there it's not the best we know who's committing the crime we know who's doing it

00:01:13.340 why not go after those people why do we have to try to go around the problem people like

00:01:17.540 Westmore and especially

00:01:19.400 the

00:01:21.360 white liberals, they always want to

00:01:23.700 talk around the question, the conversation.

00:01:26.120 They always want to sit back and try to make

00:01:27.700 excuses for the problem

00:01:29.640 but not get to the root of the problem.

00:01:32.140 I think this is an American thing. I think this

00:01:33.720 is something that's become

00:01:34.620 something we've kind of ingrained in ourselves

00:01:37.440 over the last 50 years.

00:01:39.400 We would rather talk around the issue

00:01:40.920 than deal with it. And that's something that I think historically

00:01:43.400 has never been us as a people.

00:01:47.540 yeah you know to us uh going into 2028 i was encouraging him to think about if he wants to

00:01:57.540 win to be you know changing some of the positions that's not working what what what policies on the

00:02:03.260 democratic party do you agree with any of it i'm not a political party person uh democratic party

00:02:09.120 republican party which you said as a family you guess i've been republican we vote republican

00:02:12.720 by default but it's it's more of what's in my interest not so of i'm voting because i like

00:02:17.500 these why do you vote republican it's a close i'm a nationalist i'm a populist so that's one what

00:02:21.860 i believe that immigration is a big problem i think mass migration is detrimental to this

00:02:26.900 country the republican party is the only one that's really defending it to a degree 1.00

00:02:29.780 and of course not entirely uh when it comes to being tough on crime you mainly see that from

00:02:34.740 the republicans but the problem is that both parties sit back and say that they want they

00:02:40.060 want to solve the problem they never do because the game is to keep these issues floating around

00:02:45.300 they have something to run on see like you know listen we did a half-ass job for the last four

00:02:48.980 years you vote for me again we might do somewhat of another half-ass job and that's the cycle

00:02:54.960 what keeps going why you get into politics get into politics because there's a necessary change

00:02:59.020 in this country whether it be beyond republican democrat culturally racially socially economically

00:03:04.880 it's necessary for this generation currently i don't care about the political parties these

00:03:09.400 are tools for us to use.

00:03:11.940 Political parties change every century.

00:03:14.720 Political affiliations change every election cycle.

00:03:18.420 What the problems that exist in Persis,

00:03:21.040 that is either going to go current

00:03:23.260 if we don't come up with a solution.

00:03:25.820 Hi, I'm Andre Williams, 0.99

00:03:27.140 constantly critical of black culture, 1.00

00:03:29.240 black fatigue, 1.00

00:03:29.960 calling out the problems within our community

00:03:31.800 across this country.
