Let's talk about yesterday's event and how magical it was.
00:00:03.380
By the way, I've been to a lot of church revivals in my lifetime.
00:00:17.640
A revival is where churches used to take a couple days out and say,
00:00:21.800
hey, we're going to invite some other pastors here,
00:00:23.740
and we're also going to talk about things that really matter here in the community
00:00:26.940
and specifically why your faith is so important.
00:00:31.200
And it's not just the one-hour sermon with some praise.
00:00:37.700
Old-fashioned revivals used to be like all day on Saturday
00:00:41.280
and then baptizing people at the end of the day and everything that goes with it.
00:00:48.760
So yesterday, this place, Rob, if you just show one of the clips of what the place looked like,
00:01:02.180
I believe he was the gentleman that was standing behind Charlie Kirk when he got shot.
00:01:06.680
He was one of the five guys that turned him into the car.
00:01:10.940
While we're there with the whole family, they're sitting down.
00:01:22.940
Guys, if you were there, it was so great seeing everybody.
00:01:38.600
And Rob, I don't know if you have this one or not.
00:01:40.620
And he just asked me, what are you thinking about right now?
00:01:50.920
And then all of a sudden, he says, Pat, what's on your mind?
00:01:54.140
I walk in, Rob, if you can share this clip here.
00:02:02.000
This is the greatest revival I've ever been to in my life.
00:02:07.900
It is the greatest revival I've been to in my life.
00:02:11.880
This is one kid, one of the United America, one kid, 31 years old, I have to take him away.
00:02:22.780
Millions of people will be inspired by this one guy named Charlie Cook.
00:02:34.820
And then all of a sudden, Mateo says, hey, you know, we all had floor seats.
00:02:38.860
We just showed up late because traffic was high.
00:02:40.380
By the way, we're going through security, secret service.
00:03:09.280
I'm right with secret service trying to get through.
00:03:17.180
He says, hey, Elon Musk is not going to be there.
00:03:19.900
His seats are available because we were just going to be two-on-two.
00:03:27.840
And then literally five minutes later, they say, well, Elon is here.
00:03:51.400
But Vinny, for you, what was it like being in the room?
00:03:55.680
Without trying to put fluff or whatever people call it, when you walked into that stadium,
00:04:05.780
One of our guys was just 11 days ago assassinated in cold blood in front of the world.
00:04:26.680
People that were like, I've never, I haven't been to church.
00:04:31.340
And somebody said something about, they attempted to extinguish his light.
00:04:35.740
Every time you try to extinguish somebody's light like this, like Charlie, it only makes
00:04:45.820
Thank you for giving us this opportunity just to be, because you would think people would
00:04:54.520
And evil, remember when you said in the green room at the vault, you go, and it was that
00:05:05.320
And I asked that question to you about the other side, because who, if you had to compare
00:05:10.160
anybody from the other side that was at Charlie, who on the other, they don't have nobody.
00:05:20.740
Let's go through a couple of the talks that was given.
00:05:24.000
Rob, if you can pull up Don Jr., because Don Jr. broke the ice.
00:05:30.680
And if you guys weren't there, Don gave a phenomenal speech.
00:05:37.180
But Don was the guy that actually made the place a little bit.
00:05:42.200
He got people to laugh by impersonating his dad.
00:05:45.320
Here's Don Jr. impersonating his dad right after his dad is in the arena.
00:05:53.440
Social media knows I'm far more likely to crack a joke or get myself in trouble for posting
00:05:59.760
some grossly inappropriate memes than I am to shed a tear.
00:06:03.440
I know this, because I've even gotten the call from that guy a couple of times.
00:06:09.200
You know, Don, Don, you're getting a little aggressive on social media, Don.
00:06:37.480
Meaning, his father called and said, listen, tone down that Michelle Obama type of stuff.
00:06:44.240
Yeah, and him going, who are you to talk to me?
00:06:51.980
But it was such a great moment when that happened, right?
00:07:05.820
Tucker's message when he gave the message about, Rob, which part, which story is this?
00:07:15.180
No, this is when the comment that Vinny had mentioned.
00:07:20.220
Oh, you know, this is the one where he says, when he dies, he says, I have an idea.
00:07:35.320
Oh, it is unbelievable what story, the story Tucker told.
00:07:48.340
And it actually reminds me of my favorite story ever.
00:07:54.980
And Jesus shows up, and he starts talking about the people in power.
00:08:01.260
And he starts doing the worst thing that you can do, which is telling the truth about people.
00:08:15.180
And I can just sort of picture the scene in a lamp-lit room with a bunch of guys sitting around eating hummus,
00:08:21.140
thinking about what do we do about this guy telling the truth about us.
00:08:27.700
And there's always one guy with the bright idea, and I can just hear him say,
00:08:51.020
The message that Tucker gave immediately was getting heat.
00:08:53.920
As people were connecting dots and saying, oh, he's bringing up Israel.
00:08:59.420
He's bringing up the historical fact that there were Jewish people at that time waiting for the Messiah.
00:09:08.320
And he was ministering to people, healing people.
00:09:11.060
But the leaders of the synagogue who were corrupt, they wanted to keep power.
00:09:18.480
And we all know the Easter story and the Passover week and what they did.
00:09:28.220
And he was recounting that biblically very authentically.
00:09:34.220
But his bigger point that he made really touched me because I felt the Holy Spirit was front and center.
00:09:42.620
But it wasn't like a political rally where you talk about faith, but you spin it.
00:09:48.820
You're really careful how you say it because you don't offend these people over here, over here.
00:09:56.420
And Tucker was just telling the historical story of that's what happened to Christ.
00:10:00.320
And that's how Christ became the savior of the world.
00:10:02.960
And I thought Tucker's recounting of that was fine.
00:10:12.360
I thought Tucker's I thought overall Tucker's message was was well crafted.
00:10:18.920
And I thought he was kind of on point to the moment.
00:10:25.200
I thought I thought he was I thought he was phenomenal.
00:10:27.700
I thought the great thing about a panel of speakers is if everybody hits the different tone and not everybody hits the same.
00:10:37.440
You know, sometimes everyone's like, you know, when a ruler dies, when a tyrant dies, his rule is over.
00:10:46.800
Three people use the same quote, but they were not in the room to hear that.
00:10:50.060
So the first person that said it, the reaction was massive.
00:10:55.340
And then afterwards, it was like, well, that's why you need to be there to hear what the audience is saying.
00:11:08.960
You know, I don't you're saying that people took his message the wrong way.
00:11:12.440
Some people some people immediately are like, oh, he's look.
00:11:21.160
Adam, it appeared to be people online that didn't understand that he was properly recounting the story of Christ.
00:11:27.880
And they were saying, oh, he was telling this tale, trying to insinuate, you know, Israel responsibility.
00:11:39.300
I think he was talking about the elites and the establishment of the time, whether that was the Pharisees and maybe even the Romans.
00:11:49.020
So because he certainly wasn't talking about the Hebrews or the Israelites, because those were literally his followers.
00:11:59.080
So anyone that's extrapolating and being like, he's anti-Israel in this speech.
00:12:03.040
Now, he's talking about the elites and the establishment.
00:12:05.020
Yeah, because every single one of the apostles, every single one of his followers were Jewish Hebrews at the time pivoting.
00:12:19.020
Sometimes, you know, people are anointed while she's the wife.
00:12:28.980
She forgives the killer 11 days after his assassination.
00:12:38.580
Way to calm, if she came up there and gave a message like, we need to attack them.
00:12:42.700
What do you think would be happening right now?
00:12:46.720
They say that it was a revival, not a memorial.
00:12:50.220
So full disclosure, this is my first time ever at a revival like this.
00:13:01.820
Because you don't have to be Christian to show respect.
00:13:07.980
He's like, you know, Charlie Kirk's, his Lord and Savior.
00:13:17.140
So I don't know if Trump is the most religious person.
00:13:23.940
And we should all have enough respect to say, this is where we're at at this point.
00:13:27.340
You don't have to be a follower of Jesus Christ to have respect.
00:14:01.600
The name tag alone, that's going to take you a minute to get.
00:14:07.140
In seven days, they nailed VIPs getting in Secret Service Security.
00:14:14.020
In seven days, they put their speeches together.
00:14:16.460
In seven days, they got everybody around the world that agreed to come.
00:14:20.220
Who was the person that was their performance on, the singers, the band?
00:14:33.500
It says here, Brandon Lake, Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, Cody Carnes, and Kerry Jobe.
00:14:42.880
Lee Greenwood sang for the president for three minutes before Wally said.
00:14:52.380
And she has to make her makeup because she knows all the cameras are going to be on her.
00:14:56.860
And she has to get in front of everybody with a big poster in the stadium.
00:15:02.700
65,000 people of her husband right in front of her that she has to stare at while she's giving that speech.
00:15:10.460
And this is one of the moments of her message here.
00:15:24.260
Father, forgive them for they not know what they do.
00:15:54.500
That was the most powerful part of the entire day.
00:16:34.980
you forgive him 11 days later after it happens.
00:17:15.240
You just lost your husband in front of everybody.
00:17:31.460
The person that was hit by this more than anybody else
00:17:36.400
What do you think the rest of the world should be doing?
00:17:38.400
I thought it was a great moment of what she did
00:18:02.160
we're seeing the legacy of his decision-making.
00:18:04.940
What kind of decision-making do you think it took
00:18:16.660
But for what we're seeing about her in the last 11 days,
00:18:25.880
at this point for her to show this outpouring of love
00:18:30.660
is setting the tone for the rest of the country.
00:18:33.260
You know who I, Pat, like on the opposite side,
00:19:10.040
Outside of Erica, who was your favorite speaker?
00:27:36.980
who had been through more than her share of loss and tragedy.
00:27:51.680
But our job is to build ourselves bigger around the hole.
00:28:04.160
We do that by taking the best virtues and character traits of the person that we lost
00:28:09.760
and using discipline and restraint and practice,
00:28:14.660
integrating those character traits into our own character.
00:28:20.460
we make ourselves larger and the hole gets proportionally smaller.
00:28:25.780
And we also give that person a kind of immortality because they are now living on,
00:28:57.220
I remember he used to always talk about Charlie Kirk,
00:30:05.640
my job is to identify who's going to be a player in three,
00:30:12.660
That's what I've done the last however many years.
00:30:16.560
there's something very different and unique about this guy.
00:30:49.140
you felt the fact that he was not just talking just to talk.
00:30:54.400
He was really selling a vision into something he believed in.
00:31:02.320
So one of the things I love doing is I love meeting young cats who love capitalism.
00:31:13.380
who I think was a capitalist from the day he was born.
00:31:16.600
And he's been on politics from the day probably he was born.
00:31:28.240
I wrote one thing from my whole thing of Charlie Kirk.
00:31:36.260
you will meet somebody that is much younger than you,
00:31:41.740
but you'll know immediately this person calibrates at a much more mature level than you.
00:32:01.560
you feel a certain level of determination and seriousness that gets you to look past the person being 23.
00:32:14.840
the way the guy carries himself is unbelievable.
00:32:18.740
one of the pastors gets up on stage and he says,
00:32:24.380
And I want you to teach me everything you know about the Bible.
00:32:32.600
The smartest guy I know is telling me that I'm going to teach you.
00:32:52.100
Charlie last week calls me and he's coming back from Korea.
00:32:54.660
there's some things I want to talk to you about that.
00:32:56.100
We have to improve what our relationship in Korea.
00:33:00.140
the one phone call of a guy I would call to ask him for advice.
00:33:09.000
This is the vice president talking about calling a 31 year old to get his advice.
00:33:35.380
all combined in one person that we got a chance to witness.
00:33:46.520
And we just got a report from Leo how successful that collection was.
00:33:50.400
I'm going to have Vinny say a few thoughts and a few words about the faith over fear.
00:33:56.160
share with them why you're excited about this shirt.
00:34:10.020
I wore this on Sunday and I went to a diner and I'm sitting there.
00:34:17.420
starts telling a story about his faith and his family,
00:34:26.000
I had five people around me talking about faith and what,
00:34:32.720
I got emotional walking in here today with you and crying.
00:35:05.760
they said that there were around a hundred thousand in the area.
00:35:10.180
So 40,000 walking around trying to find a way to get in.
00:35:45.220
so the thing behind it is just having faith over fear.
00:35:50.660
but I have faith because I've heard the stories and I believe,
00:35:53.740
I believe in my heart of hearts and never guys,
00:36:06.620
he was with Jesus and he was with God in heaven.
00:36:22.160
if you can go to the website so I can show exactly where it's at and they can
00:36:27.080
You literally go to vtmerch.com and it's the first thing we have there.
