Annunciation Catholic School shooting in Minneapolis, what we know about the suspect.
00:00:05.220
Rob, is this a video you got on it, or is this something I'm reading?
00:00:09.160
Let me just read this to you, and then I'll come to you, Rob.
00:00:11.440
So the suspected shooter of Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis,
00:00:14.260
identified by law enforcement sources as Robert or Robin Westman, Jake Tapper likes to call him Robin,
00:00:19.460
opened fire during a morning mass in Wednesday, killing two children and injuring 17 others,
00:00:25.880
including 14 children with two in critical condition.
00:00:28.340
According to police reports, court records indicate that in 2019,
00:00:32.680
a juvenile named Robert Westman, whose mother, Mary Grace Westman,
00:00:38.060
was the parish secretary of Annunciation until her 2021 retirement legally changed their name to Robin,
00:00:43.800
with the mother stating minor child identifies as female and wants her name to reflect that identification.
00:00:49.300
Police described the attacker as a male dressed in black,
00:00:52.360
carrying a black rifle who committed suicide after the shooting,
00:00:56.080
with Minneapolis Police Department stating there is no active threat to the community at this time,
00:01:02.780
The suspect's relationship to the school remains unknown,
00:01:06.120
and it's unconfirmed whether Westman had any connection to school students or staff,
00:01:12.500
though disturbing YouTube videos since deleted and unverified by authorities.
00:01:17.020
Posted under the name Robin Westman showed handwritten notebook,
00:01:21.740
pages and weapon with messages painted on them.
00:01:25.760
The Minneapolis Star Tribune, just as another piece of the puzzle as to who the shooter was,
00:01:29.860
the Minneapolis Star Tribune says, according to court records,
00:01:32.720
because there's been some confusion about what the shooter's name was,
00:01:35.280
that Robin Westman's mother applied to change her child's name in 2019.
00:01:43.640
But since she identifies as a female and wants her name to reflect that identification,
00:01:54.020
And then I'm going to go to a couple of you guys.
00:01:58.480
So this is data showing mass shooting rates by demo from 2015 to 2025.
00:02:22.140
Why are we not paying attention more to data to see what's going on here?
00:02:25.280
You think we could prevent maybe some of these things that have happened in the future?
00:02:28.680
You know how many parents are concerned nowadays?
00:02:31.200
I'm at a game the other day with another parent.
00:02:35.780
And this parent, who's got his daughter there, 13-year-old daughter, tall.
00:02:43.980
The entire time he's looking on, hey, look at that guy.
00:02:56.120
And he says, what do you mean, what's my concern?
00:02:57.800
Are you not worried about all the school shootings that's happening?
00:03:02.780
Parents are truly worried about what's going on because they don't want to see something like this happen at their school.
00:03:15.320
She does training every year, lockdown training.
00:03:18.880
God bless the entrepreneurs that are inventing new devices that are helping,
00:03:22.180
that are quick locks and things to help contain schools and things.
00:03:29.900
And there's two elements here that really that anger her and anger me.
00:03:34.060
And the first element is the way the Democrats handle this.
00:03:39.720
I'm just describing the playbook, find a victim, politicize it, push that victim against conservatives as being absolutely, you know, repressed.
00:04:01.700
Well, look, that may be a tremendous, you know, effort of change that happened in 1968 with civil rights legislation when it was needed.
00:04:16.780
There are some people who are trans that really are sexually confused and are peaceful people.
00:04:32.020
That there is a number of people, and it is a significant percent of people in the trans community who are trans and talk about it, friends of trans talk about it, that say there's something going on, that there's something deeper and emotional and troubling.
00:04:53.860
This is bothersome because you see it in the people.
00:05:02.960
They don't need the mom right now refusing to cooperate with authorities on interviews.
00:05:08.100
Right now, the mother of the shooter this morning, two different articles I read, is allegedly refusing to cooperate with authorities and ask questions as they are trying.
00:05:18.820
The shooter took his, referred to as her, by identification.
00:05:23.860
So Robert, identifying as Robin, took his own life.
00:05:37.880
And we as a nation, the media is flying, absolutely staying in lockstep with the liberal Democrats.
00:05:47.940
Find a victim, politicize it, push it against conservatives.
00:05:56.060
And in the trans community, we need to come together as a nation and say, wherever you are, if you're troubled, you've got things going on, you need help.
00:06:05.780
And then parents, as the ones that were prosecuted in Michigan, have to lock up their weapons.
00:06:18.020
Yeah, when you're seeing stories like this, that's what?
00:06:27.880
And they put, as the Trump administration attacks trans people, some queer folks are armed and ready to push back.
00:06:48.160
Or do they know what's going on in their minds?
00:06:49.520
By the way, can you get to that one video I sent you, Rob?
00:06:51.960
This is a video of, say, you know, the trans guy, you know, the famous trans guy on TikTok.
00:07:01.800
Yeah, can you play, I think, yeah, this is the one.
00:07:15.480
If you try to stop me from going into a woman's bathroom.
00:08:21.160
That these people, in their confusion, in their gender dysphoria, are also...
00:08:25.820
You don't tell me that that is normal, rational people.
00:08:30.680
And people who understand it know I'm speaking the truth.
00:08:33.660
And I'm going to ask, Bob, Pat, remember, and I've told Pat and the crew three times during
00:08:38.880
his 11-minute video, and I had to watch it for context.
00:08:42.500
Before I get into this, Pat, if you don't mind, this is just the beginning of the video.
00:08:52.980
By the way, his normal voice is like this, and I've got goosebumps right now, Pat.
00:08:56.540
Tell me how demonic and possessed this voice is.
00:09:00.020
This is the video he did before he went out and shoot.
00:09:14.160
And there's three different instances, Rob, that we don't have to show right now.
00:09:18.260
Now, this is what makes people transphobic, okay?
00:09:21.320
Not your identity, but the fact that you clearly have a mental issue, and then it manifests
00:09:27.080
into killing innocent people, innocent children praying in church.
00:09:33.500
Not because you want to call yourself Sarah and you were born John, all right?
00:09:42.960
And listen to the mentality, guys, of how lost and confused this kid is.
00:09:49.100
I only keep the long hair because it's pretty much my last shred of being trans.
00:09:59.240
I wish I was a girl, and I just know I cannot achieve that body with the technology we have today,
00:10:05.420
This wasn't some happy or fulfilled person, all right?
00:10:08.440
It was eating him alive by confusion, illness, and despair.
00:10:12.680
And when you have a system, Pat, when the world is telling him, hey, it's okay, it's okay, live your truth.
00:10:42.800
And we know, and this is the one thing that got me, me and Rob were talking about this.
00:10:47.300
The moment this happens, within one hour, we know who he is, his history, his family, his school, the videos.
00:10:53.600
But when a guy, Thomas Crooks, who's kind of in the same.
00:10:59.060
We don't know nothing about that guy, and we still don't.
00:11:07.900
It's not this trans, confused, mentally ill person's fault.
00:11:15.040
And it's politicians who don't say, hey, you should stop.
00:11:19.900
Like Tim Walsh, the Minnesota's governor, has turned his state, he turned it into a sanctuary place for kids to receive trans medical services.
00:11:30.960
And he bragged that making Minnesota a safe haven for trans people.
00:11:40.200
I'm done pretending that this is just another lifestyle.
00:11:50.260
They need people to help them, not co-sign their freaking delusion.
00:11:55.840
The T's have single-handedly dismantled the progress that gay people have made to gain the public's trust.
00:12:02.360
And all these guys that are, all these fake politicians saying, Pat, save your thoughts.
00:12:22.500
There's men, there's female, and then there's the mentally ill.
00:12:26.580
And I think if we can't identify the fact that a lot of these shooters are trans and are dealing with massive, massive mental problems, what are we talking about here?
00:12:40.820
I think Bill Maher made this famous about how every generation is becoming more and more LGBT friendly or identifying as that.
00:13:06.740
I don't know if you could show that again, Rob, just for the audience.
00:13:15.540
I broke it down to three major reasons why these school shooters happen.
00:13:20.480
Number one, there's just massive, massive hate and grievance and resentment and revenge and V for vendetta.
00:13:38.980
And I'm assuming a lot of them haven't had sexual outlets to deal with any of this.
00:13:43.720
The last one is the biggest problem, I think, going on with all young people.
00:13:48.660
It's a lack of meaning and purpose in your life.
00:13:50.860
We covered this the other day about people don't have meaning anymore.
00:13:56.520
A lot of times you find meaning in community or in religion or in God or in family.
00:14:04.880
But what happens is, you know, a lot of these kids, the average age of a school shooter is guess what age?
00:14:11.620
So they're high school seniors on average, and they're filled with rage and resentment.
00:14:22.340
And what I've uncovered is this following thing.
00:14:25.100
They'd rather be dead and infamous rather than alive and irrelevant.
00:14:29.840
And that's a shocking statement because all of them basically trace their inspiration to Columbine.
00:14:42.580
And this is the only way that they're going to find infamy and fame.
00:14:46.740
And I actually don't think we should talk about their names ever because you're giving them their shine when they deserve none of it.
00:14:55.740
But it doesn't help when the mother, you're 17, Pat, and the mother's like, you know what?
00:15:02.200
Your governor and all these people are making it.
00:15:07.720
I've talked about parents being held accountable.
00:15:11.640
And people thought it was crazy a few years ago.
00:15:14.100
And then in Michigan, they actually threw parents, I think, in jail for a shooting.
00:15:20.080
Trans parents, when they commit something like this, there's evidence.
00:15:23.000
All right, so hold on, what, you're on these, what did RFK say?
00:15:27.060
Yeah, this is RFK, I believe, yesterday, where he talks about the amount of SSRIs connected to school shootings.
00:15:34.080
I certainly consider mass shootings a health crisis.
00:15:39.200
And we are doing, for the first time, real studies to find out what the ideology of that is.
00:15:45.020
And we're looking for the first time at psychiatric drugs.
00:15:48.300
And, you know, these kind of mass shooting, people have had guns in this country forever.
00:15:54.160
When I was a kid, we had shooting clubs at our school.
00:15:56.940
People, kids, my classmates, other people, would bring a .22 rifle with their guns to school and park it in the parking lot.
00:16:05.140
Nobody was shooting, so there's never been a time in America, in the history of humanity,
00:16:10.720
and people walked into a crowd, into a church or a movie theater or a school or a crowd of strangers
00:16:24.840
And there are many other countries that have comparable levels of guns that we have in this country.
00:16:31.620
We had comparable levels in the 40s, 50s, and 60s, and people weren't doing that.
00:16:35.780
Something changed, and it dramatically changed human behavior, and one of the culprits we need
00:16:43.860
to examine is whether the fact that we are the most over-medicated nation in the world,
00:16:50.300
and that a lot of those are psychiatric drugs that have black box warnings on them,
00:17:00.180
So we are doing those studies right now for the first time, and we will have an answer.
00:17:05.780
And by the way, you know what else he said they're about to release as well?
00:17:10.860
Did you see that, what they're about to release?
00:17:14.960
If you go on X and just type in RFK autism, they're about to release.
00:17:19.820
What they figured out is the link to, is that, yeah, that's the one right there.
00:17:25.640
Go ahead, Rob, from the beginning if you could.
00:17:27.000
Bobby, autism, if I could just, I don't want to go too long because we have a lot of people,
00:17:31.140
but the autism is such a tremendous horror show, what's happening in our country and some other countries,
00:17:42.120
We will have announcements as promised in September.
00:17:46.100
We're finding interventions, certain interventions now that are clearly, almost certainly causing autism.
00:17:54.560
And we're going to be able to address those in September.
00:18:00.520
I'm looking forward to that day because there's something wrong when you see the kind of numbers that you have today versus 20 years ago.
00:18:08.200
And those numbers, what are those numbers, Rob?
00:18:11.000
Well, in 1970, the biggest epidemiological study in history was done in Wisconsin.
00:18:19.060
They looked at 900,000 children and they were looking for autism.
00:18:23.160
They knew what it looked like and they were very, very precise about it.
00:18:28.440
And they found an incident rate of 0.7, in other words, less than one for every 10,000 children.
00:18:36.100
Today, our most recent numbers are one in every 31 kids.
00:18:40.960
It's probably actually much worse than that because California, which has the best collection system,
00:18:46.960
is reporting one out of every 19 children, American children, as autism, one in every 12.5 boys.
00:18:54.560
I was calling from less than one in 10,000 in 1970, one in 12.5 boys.
00:19:02.020
So there has to be something artificially causing this, meaning a drug or something.
00:19:09.240
And I know you're looking very strongly at different things.
00:19:11.740
And I hope you can come out with that as soon as possible.
00:19:16.900
It's great that a guy like that is in there investigating this.
00:19:21.720
I just hope there's no games, no cover-up, no nothing.
00:19:28.340
Because, you know, one of the biggest things that we learned from the last time,
00:19:34.320
the transgender typically linked to medication, what they're taking, what they're on.
00:19:38.920
You have to find out if there's a pattern there.
00:19:41.060
The entire time while I'm sitting here, all I'm typing is,
00:19:44.740
what's the pattern amongst all the transgender shooters?
00:19:50.000
Remember, family and upbringing patterns, troubled childhoods are common.
00:19:54.420
Many shooters come from broken families, divorce, or unstable home environments,
00:19:57.720
exposure to domestic violence, or absent fathers.
00:20:07.540
If you keep pitching woman power and all this other stuff, you know,
00:20:12.220
we are equals and we're this and we're that and we're this,
00:20:16.420
You're going to continue having broken families.
00:20:18.180
Women are going to be like, I don't need a man.
00:20:25.260
And they're walking around asking women, hey, do you see yourself equal as man?
00:20:41.940
And you've seen these clips from back in the days where they're interviewing people.
00:20:47.580
Yes, he is the leader of the household, not me.
00:20:49.980
So if we continue going this direction, these patterns are going to show up.
00:20:53.760
I'm glad there is logic in the White House that's going to get to the bottom of this
00:20:57.460
to see exactly what is taking place with these different issues.
00:21:01.600
Moving forward on Manect, on The Circle, all the notes we have, it's free.
00:21:06.680
You can go download The Circle, follow the stories with us.
00:21:10.540
All you have to do is go to Download Manect, go to The Circle, PBD Podcast Circle, look for it.
00:21:19.680
If you want to be able to communicate with others, pay your $10 a month, I think, whatever the next rate is.
00:21:24.300
And then the next rate will give you more access, videos, all that other stuff.
00:21:27.780
And especially last week when we posted a video with Tom doing the push, what do you call it,
00:21:38.260
And I got so much hate telling me I was doing half bench presses.
00:21:48.960
And what I'm probably going to do after today is I'm going to do that with a pause to see how many I'll do.
00:22:00.060
But also you do the whole leg up, like this whole deal.
00:22:07.400
So maybe if I do straight arms, I can only do three of them, four of them.
