00:00:29.480 So Jimmy Kimmel, a few days ago, makes a comment about President Trump's wife and says,
00:00:36.800 you look like, just go to my Twitter account if you don't have it, you look like an expected widow, right?
00:00:43.080 And that goes viral.
00:00:45.220 Everybody starts talking about it.
00:00:46.940 Wait a minute, why would he say such a thing, right?
00:00:49.360 That's the clip right there.
00:00:50.240 It's seven seconds.
00:00:51.580 So he makes this comment.
00:00:55.560 We need audio, guys, in the back. 0.99
00:00:57.980 Our First Lady Melania is here. 1.00
00:01:00.240 Look at Melania.
00:01:00.780 So beautiful.
00:01:01.580 Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.
00:01:05.640 So he makes this comment.
00:01:07.560 Then the First Lady, Melania Trump, responds in a tweet.
00:01:11.960 And she comes out and she says,
00:01:13.960 Kimmel's hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country.
00:01:17.080 His monologue about family is in comedy.
00:01:18.740 His words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.
00:01:23.140 People like Kimmel shouldn't have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.
00:01:27.060 A coward Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.
00:01:31.780 Enough is enough. 0.88
00:01:32.380 It's time for ABC to take a stand.
00:01:34.380 How many times will ABC's leadership enable Kimmel's atrocious behavior at the expense of our community?
00:01:39.700 The president also responds to it.
00:01:41.460 Then you get, by the way, Kimmel responded back.
00:01:44.220 If just so you know, I don't know if you have the Kimmel respond back.
00:01:46.300 uh uh there's kimball responding back is this the one rob yep okay go for it so this is the next day 0.96
00:01:51.700 after the first lady's tweet go ahead i greeted the day facing yet another twitter vomit storm
00:01:57.640 and a call to fire me from our first lady melania trump saying i should be fired because of a joke
00:02:06.200 i made again five nights ago it was a pretend roast i said our first lady melania is here look
00:02:12.160 are so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you'll have a glow like an expectant widow, which obviously was a
00:02:20.960 joke about their age difference and the look of joy we see on her face every time they're together.
00:02:27.160 It was a very light roast joke about the fact that he's almost 80 and she's younger than I am.
00:02:31.900 It was not by any stretch of the definition a call to assassination, and they know that. I've
00:02:38.520 been very vocal for many years speaking out against gun violence in particular but i understand
00:02:43.580 that the first lady had a stressful experience over the weekend and probably every weekend is
00:02:48.180 pretty stressful in that house and also i agree that hateful and violent rhetoric is something
00:02:53.940 we should reject i do and i think a great place to start to dial that back would be to have a
00:02:59.660 conversation with your husband about it because um okay so that's that that causes fcc to call
00:03:06.320 on Disney stations for early license review in wake of Kimmel Saga.
00:03:10.580 The FCC is expected to call the license Disney for license review as soon as Tuesday, which
00:03:14.340 was yesterday, marking significant escalation tensions between the media giant and Trump
00:03:18.180 administration. Disney's own ABC affiliates will have to prove FCC Chairman
00:03:22.100 Brandon Carr that they have been operating in the public
00:03:26.360 interest. The licenses are not up for renewal for several years, but FCC plans
00:03:29.940 unprecedented action to accelerate the renewal of the heels of Kimmel controversial
00:03:34.040 expectant widow citing people familiar with the matter first reported that the FCC moved forward
00:03:41.540 a review of Disney's broadcast licensing. So this this is getting this is continuing to get a little
00:03:45.800 bit nastier. And the president also responded, wow, Jimmy Kimmel, who is no way funny, has
00:03:49.920 attested to by his terrible television ratings, made a statement on a show. It was really shocking.
00:03:55.440 He showed a fake video of First Lady Melania and our son Baron like they were actually sitting in
00:03:59.000 the studio listening to him, which they weren't and never would be. He then stated our First Lady
00:04:03.000 Melania here. Look at Melania as beautiful as 1.00
00:04:04.820 Ms. Trump. You look like a glowing expectant.
00:04:06.960 So he makes his comments of where he's at.
00:04:09.460 FCC comes out.
00:04:11.040 One, Jeff, how do
00:04:13.060 you feel about the comments that were made by Kimmel?
00:04:14.860 Two, what do you think about FCC making a call
00:04:16.800 to Disney to threaten Jimmy Kimmel's job?
00:04:19.440 Oh, Kimmel's just
00:04:20.800 doing what Kimmel always does, and it wasn't really a joke.
00:04:23.220 Let's be honest about it. It was an attempt
00:04:24.960 at a joke. I mean, one of the problems with late-night television
00:04:26.760 is they traded jokes for just applause.
00:04:29.200 I agree with what Jimmy Kimmel says. I hate
00:04:30.820 Trump, therefore, I'm just going to applause because he said
00:04:32.880 it um however the response to it i think he's been playing right into his hands don't make the
00:04:37.840 guy a martyr don't play don't make uh the narrative that uh jimmy kimmy was taken out by
00:04:42.440 trump who's acting as an authoritarian um call out his behavior say he this wasn't really funny joke
00:04:48.340 and it was bad um but then just let him go back to his you know uh late night show that nobody ever
00:04:54.020 watches it's gotten to the point where late night television is simply like um rage tweeting on
00:04:59.140 twitter just trying to get engagement you're giving the thing the thing that he really wants
00:05:03.060 which is attention so um i don't think the government should be responding to it at all
00:05:07.660 i don't think they should really make a big deal out of it because uh the best thing that could 0.99
00:05:11.600 happen here is just people just ignore the guy um the first amendment is there to protect idiots 0.99
00:05:18.200 from the government idiots with particularly ill-timed bad jokes i think the joke was made 1.00
00:05:23.400 before a shooter actually came in and tried to assassinate the president. 1.00
00:05:28.460 So a particularly ill-timed bad joke.
00:05:31.880 But that doesn't mean the FCC should go after him.
00:05:35.380 This isn't now before we get all Trump, Trump, Trump.
00:05:37.900 You know, the Biden administration had the Twitter files,
00:05:41.400 the attempt to use government regulatory pressure to censor media and to censor Twitter.
00:05:47.500 We've been after it, and this is a one-upmanship that needs to stop.
00:05:51.300 The government needs to get out of the business of using legal pressure.
00:05:55.160 There's plenty of social pressure, plenty of moral pressure.
00:05:59.060 Jimmy Kimmel, obviously, is not going to do great.
00:06:02.180 But we are normalizing violent talk, which this was not.
00:06:07.260 The New York Times, a new word has come from the progressives.
00:06:11.960 You've got to keep up on your progressive vocabulary.
00:06:14.700 Social murder.
00:06:16.140 There was social justice, and now there's social murder,
00:06:18.960 which the New York Times is normalizing as something okay to shoot health insurance companies
00:06:24.740 because you don't like capitalism.
00:06:26.340 We've got to stop this.
00:06:27.060 I'm with you guys.
00:06:27.820 I mean, I think he's a nasty guy, Kimmel,
00:06:30.620 but I mean, I'm much more concerned with the precedent of going after somebody who's an entertainer,
00:06:36.660 who has a TV show, who's a network.
00:06:38.620 I mean, I think we should be putting more energy into righting the wrongs of the Biden administration,
00:06:42.760 holding people accountable who were doing things like the Twitter files
00:06:45.480 where they had a portal with Twitter where the government couldn't submit requests
00:06:48.700 and take things down.
00:06:49.600 Like, I think those things need to be protected against.
00:06:51.740 So I'd like to see legislation that protects against that
00:06:54.280 rather than, you know, proactively going after somebody with the force of the government.
00:06:57.980 Because, I mean, what's Gavin Newsom going to do if he gets into office or AOC,
00:07:01.600 you know, if some people are talking about them on YouTube or on TV?
00:07:05.360 Hey, in Europe, you go to jail if you use the wrong pronoun.
00:07:08.160 Exactly.
00:07:08.860 That's coming in two and a half years.
00:07:11.580 So, yeah, I need to fight like hell and protect against that
00:07:13.620 instead of using the government as a weapon for the short amount of time that he's in office.
00:07:17.680 Yeah, look, I'm with that on what the FCC is doing.
00:07:22.160 I will tell you there's a group of people that are also, you saw the indictment on Comey yesterday came out with Todd Blanchett.
00:07:29.020 This is the second time, 46-47.
00:07:31.300 I don't know if you saw that, Rob, if you want to pull it up on what he said.
00:07:34.180 To me, there is a group of people that voted the president in to go after the criminals, to go get them.
00:07:40.940 Like, hey, Jim Comey, what did he do?
00:07:42.280 86-47. That's not acceptable to say that.
00:07:44.580 He's different, I think. I put him in a different category
00:07:46.440 than Kimmel. But the part where I'm
00:07:48.360 going, and I understand what you're saying, I'm just telling you
00:07:50.420 there's a community that's sitting there saying
00:07:52.080 hey, we were getting
00:07:54.100 what do you call it, strikes on YouTube
00:07:56.460 for just questioning putting on a mask.
00:07:59.260 That's all we did.
00:08:00.820 Doctors were being interviewed when viral
00:08:02.540 15 million views saying, hey, we just don't
00:08:04.480 think we need to make it mandatory for everybody to get
00:08:06.440 a vaccine. 67%
00:08:08.620 of Americans ended up getting the vaccine. I think
00:08:10.360 The number right now is 72%, 73%.
00:08:12.300 Military guys being kicked out and you would put them on the podcast, you get a strike.
00:08:16.920 And so what, we have to move on that quickly?
00:08:18.820 So there's a lot of people that are saying, and another story came out,
00:08:21.500 we probably will talk about this on Friday, is this story, which is not a big story.
00:08:26.900 There's so much stuff going on that this story just kind of goes under the radar.
00:08:30.160 Former Fauci advisor indicted on COVID-related charges?
00:08:33.340 What?
00:08:34.180 And it's not even a main story?
00:08:35.320 No.
00:08:36.180 It's not that big of a story.
00:08:37.460 So there is a group of people that are sitting there saying, hold them accountable because they freaking got you a mugshot.
00:08:46.980 They try to bankrupt it.
00:08:48.440 They try to destroy your life.
00:08:49.680 You have the moral authority to go after them.
00:08:51.620 And he's not aggressively going after anybody if you think about it.
00:08:55.660 He himself.
00:08:56.680 Who is he aggressively going after?
00:08:58.320 Not anybody.
00:08:58.840 I want to push back on that.
00:09:00.220 And I know a lot of Trump voters, one in particular, who did not vote for Trump to go after his political enemies, but to stop the lawfare that Trump was unbelievably the victim of.
00:09:11.140 At some point, we've got to stop tit for tat.
00:09:13.380 And I think we've got to put this sword back on the shield and get rid of it.
00:09:16.620 Comey is guilty of 100 things, but not the thing he's being charged of.
00:09:20.680 And I'm sorry, you've got to charge him for something he's actually guilty of.
00:09:24.460 So I'm going to unpack that.
00:09:26.880 He's not guilty for the 86-47?
00:09:28.800 No, for putting, you're really going to unleash the Department of Justice on a tweet to some shells on the beach?
00:09:36.420 No, that Russia collusion hoax, that, you know, but that.
00:09:40.020 Going after parents who are questioning local school boards, that kind of stuff.
00:09:43.480 I think that's why people elected Trump and they were hoping that he would either investigate it.
00:09:48.920 Am I living in la-la land?
00:09:50.420 Like, the director of FBI tells the world, kill him, and you guys are saying that's not a –
00:09:57.880 like, are we getting to this point that we are so immune to death threats from the director of FBI?
00:10:04.180 It's not immune.
00:10:05.640 It's not being normalizing that behavior.
00:10:07.720 It's like, look, there's bigger stuff that he should be –
00:10:09.500 I get that.
00:10:10.240 There's a lot of other stuff that he can get into.
00:10:12.080 And for me, you know when they did the Twitter files, you kind of brought up the Twitter files earlier.
00:10:16.040 You know what I wanted when he won the election?
00:10:18.220 I wanted FBI files.
00:10:20.900 I wanted FBI files.
00:10:22.380 I want to know what the hell they're telling each other.
00:10:24.040 I want to find out what they're using the power to go after the president.
00:10:27.240 So to me, do you think like bring down the temperature like your friend that you said was a Republican that voted for it?
00:10:34.520 Okay.
00:10:35.560 Do you think, you know, I'm more from the thought of let's not retaliate that much.
00:10:42.380 Let him kind of go.
00:10:43.100 But some people need to be held accountable.
00:10:45.060 Do you think, like being the tolerant Christians, let's be tolerant.
00:10:50.940 Do you think us going that direction, John, if AOC and Newsom,
00:10:55.860 you think they're going to follow our example of nobility and follow the same leader?
00:10:59.680 You think they're going to follow your example of nobility?
00:11:02.120 No, that's the danger. 1.00
00:11:03.820 And this is the way third world countries work, that when you lose an election, 1.00
00:11:08.000 you go to jail, you're lucky if you keep your life, you lose your business, 1.00
00:11:12.180 your family loses your business, your supporters lose your business. And what do you do? You make
00:11:16.260 darn sure not to lose an election. The key to democracy is the ability to lose an election
00:11:21.600 and just lick your wounds, go back and try again the next time. And as we go to tit for tat
00:11:26.900 escalating lawfare on both sides, then that's, you know, you worry about the ends of democracy. That
00:11:33.120 is a really dangerous one. So you got to have both sides stopping it. One thing here, I don't know if
00:11:38.580 You saw the comments from Dan Mangino, the former second, number two at the FBI,
00:11:43.120 and how he said that there's basically two FBI's.
00:11:46.060 They found very quickly that there was one FBI that was just, you know.
00:11:49.080 I agree with that.
00:11:50.300 That's what we need to be focusing on.
00:11:52.340 Not whether or not Comey said 86-47.
00:11:54.840 It's what did he do while at the FBI to create permanent power structures
00:11:58.620 that are going to linger on long past we have these.
00:12:01.060 How many presidents have we had that have had three assassination attempts?
00:12:04.620 Not many.
00:12:04.920 How many?
00:12:05.480 Not many.
00:12:06.480 I don't know how many.
00:12:07.820 Obama never had an assassination attempt.
00:12:09.920 God forbid if they did, we would be in a...
00:12:11.960 Why do we know anything about those?
00:12:14.700 Why do we know anything about Butler?
00:12:15.760 Why don't we know anything about Butler?
00:12:17.880 What happened there?
00:12:18.980 I mean, where did that go?
00:12:20.180 Well, I mean, think about it. 0.78
00:12:21.060 It took them one year to go after the 86-47.
00:12:23.420 The speed is never going to be at the speed that you and I wanted,
00:12:25.640 so I don't know what the story behind that is.
00:12:27.320 Two years ago.
00:12:28.020 I agree.
00:12:28.520 I agree.
00:12:28.900 That was one of the main things I asked when I said,
00:12:30.820 how come we don't know what...
00:12:31.680 Because Kirk, Butler, we know more about the other guy at the Palm Beach
00:12:38.200 Routh of the Ukraine guy?
00:12:39.420 Routh, what his name is, yes.
00:12:40.260 Ryan Routh.
00:12:40.880 Yeah, Ryan Routh.
00:12:41.640 So I agree.
00:12:42.920 I just think the temperatures have been raised.
00:12:45.120 I also know when they get back in, they will forever use that card.
00:12:49.640 Forever.
00:12:50.300 You know what I don't like the most?
00:12:51.900 I don't like presidents partnering their entire families.
00:12:55.060 That's what Biden did.
00:12:56.040 Guess what Trump has to do?
00:12:57.620 What do you think are the likelihood that Trump partners his entire family?
00:13:00.440 80 percent?
00:13:01.200 70 percent?
00:13:01.920 Because what's the likelihood that the minute they get in, the Democrats will investigate them?
00:13:03.920 That's what I'm saying.
00:13:04.920 I don't like that.
00:13:06.080 but we've gotten to a point that they're going to target them.
00:13:08.900 And so what a strange place to be in.
00:13:11.220 For those of you guys that are small business owners or your executives,
00:13:15.660 you've got big plans for 2026.
00:13:17.520 We host an event once here.
00:13:18.880 It's a Super Bowl of our events.
00:13:20.300 And it went from a small event that we had to now, you know,
00:13:24.160 expecting 12,000 people this year.
00:13:26.140 It's a phenomenal event to go to.
00:13:28.660 Here's why, Rob, go ahead and play the clip.
00:13:30.740 23 years old, I've gone to four to ten business conferences every year.
00:13:34.000 It doesn't matter if it's a family conference, generational wealth conference, investment conference, where to invest your money, or raising your family, or even a revival church conference.
00:13:43.820 I wanted to put a business conference together where we can talk money, business, family, faith, politics, and nobody walks on eggshells.
00:13:52.520 And that's exactly what we did with the Vault Conference.
00:13:54.740 The first one we hosted, 440 people showed up.
00:13:57.080 I had no idea how many people were going to show up.
00:13:58.900 Now, for the first time, we're coming to the MGM Grand Arena.
