Valuetainment - ＂Mamdani Is RICH!＂ Andrew Cuomo EXPOSES Mamdani’s Luxury Lifestyle Despite Rent-Controlled Apartment

00:00:00.000 So finally, Andrew Cuomo goes on the offensive.

00:00:04.420 He writes a tweet, whether he wrote it, team wrote it, whoever it is,

00:00:08.400 gets 30-something million views.

00:00:10.300 Rob, do you mind just going to the tweet?

00:00:11.920 Because I also want to see the commentary and the criticism that comes with it.

00:00:15.460 So if you can go to X, go to Andrew Cuomo, perfect.

00:00:18.920 And if you can go to that tweet, he finally decides to aggressively go after Mamdani.

00:00:25.400 And he exposes him to the point that De Blasio had to respond.

00:00:28.560 A bunch of people had to respond to what he had to say.

00:00:31.820 And I think this is the one. Here we go.

00:00:34.000 Somewhere last night in New York City, a single mother and her children slept at a homeless shelter

00:00:37.620 because you, Assemblyman Mamdani, are occupying her rent-controlled apartment.

00:00:42.660 You grew up rich and married even a wealthier woman.

00:00:46.200 You've had weddings on three continents.

00:00:47.880 You own property in LGBTQIA plus murderous Uganda. 1.00

00:00:52.880 You make $142,000 a year plus stipends.

00:00:55.520 Your wife works too, meaning you together likely make over $200,000 a year.

00:00:59.840 No matter which way you cut it, Mamdani is a rich person.

00:01:03.220 You are actually very rich.

00:01:05.060 Yet you and your wife pay $2,300 a month as you have bragged for a nice apartment in Astoria

00:01:10.520 that should be housing for someone who needs it.

00:01:14.200 We are in the middle of a historic affordability crisis.

00:01:17.200 Millions of low-income New Yorkers need this apartment and an apartment like it.

00:01:21.220 Yet your apartment remains rented to rich people who don't need it.

00:01:24.200 Today I'm calling on you to move out immediately and give your affordable housing back

00:01:29.440 to an unhoused family who needs it.

00:01:31.840 Leaders must show moral clarity.

00:01:34.620 Time to move out.

00:01:35.460 Rob, if you can play the clip of what he says about his rent.

00:01:37.860 I think that's when he's saying that.

00:01:40.040 Go for it.

00:01:41.020 $300 for my one-bedroom in Astoria.

00:01:43.120 $300 for my one-bedroom in Astoria.

00:01:44.560 $300 for my one-bedroom in Astoria.

00:01:46.600 So you can pause this, Rob.

00:01:48.780 De Blasio responds back, okay?

00:01:51.460 I don't know if you can find that or if you can't, Rob.

00:01:53.740 Just go back to Andrew Cuomo's video up top, and it will go to De Blasio's.

00:01:58.040 Go back up one more.

00:01:59.080 I think it's keep going, keep going, keep going.

00:02:01.100 That's the one right there.

00:02:02.260 So then in this one here, he announces that he's going to be doing something.

00:02:05.180 If you can make that bigger, go for it, Rob.

00:02:06.580 Rent-stabilized units when they're vacant should only be rented to people who need affordable housing.

00:02:13.900 Not people like Zoran Mandami.

00:02:15.860 You don't need to be renting rent-stabilized units to wealthy people.

00:02:21.220 Otherwise, what you're doing is you're abusing the system.

00:02:24.300 I'm going to propose not rent that apartment by law, except to a person who actually needs affordable housing.

00:02:32.340 And I'm going to call it Zoran's law because it's an abuse of the system. 0.92

00:02:37.080 Okay, you can pause the right.

00:02:38.260 So, Tom, your thoughts on this story here.

00:02:40.180 Well, first of all, whoever Mandami's advisors are, that was not a talking point to me because you're sticking your chin out there against Mike Tyson.

00:02:51.300 And I think Andrew Cuomo reacted the way an opponent's going to react in New York, saying, are you crazy?

00:02:57.820 We have an affordability crisis.

00:02:59.060 It was like a fastball, and Andrew Cuomo hit it so hard the ball hasn't landed.

00:03:03.880 And he's also coming back and saying, and by the way, we need to make a law because New York is famous for the rent control laws.

00:03:12.460 And much as I don't like the rent control laws, he's making a point here.

00:03:15.960 If we have rent-controlled housing and it's supposed to be for people like this, then let's make a threshold so that the people that it's intended for can get it.

00:03:25.100 It doesn't become a cost benefit to other people that may get into it.

00:03:30.620 And I think he's putting out a proposal for Zoran's law that suddenly gives him something really to run against this guy.

00:03:37.380 What Andrew Cuomo was missing, I think, for the last week was he was kind of out there, you know, what do you go with, Pat?

00:03:46.080 I'm the old guy?

00:03:47.360 Hey, I'm the guy you remember.

00:03:48.880 You remember me?

00:03:49.480 I was your governor.

00:03:50.220 Remember me?

00:03:50.860 So he's kind of running on remember me.

00:03:53.320 And then everybody was going, yeah, I remember a little bit about COVID too, dude.

00:03:56.240 And now I think he actually has a plank to run on.

00:04:00.600 To be fair, Tom Rob, if you can go to that tweet of Cuomo, the first one, we'll come back to the De Blasio one.

00:04:05.920 If you can go to the first one that he put up and, yeah, go down a little bit.

00:04:10.480 And let's just read the comments because the comments is what matters the most.

00:04:14.020 Go to this and read the comments.

00:04:17.360 Zoom in a little bit.

00:04:18.860 So that's obviously the campaign.

00:04:20.200 Go a little bit lower.

00:04:20.860 I want to read the criticism. 0.93

00:04:22.400 Mamdani is more corrupt than I realize. 0.95

00:04:23.720 He's an expert socialist fraud, rich and tighter hoarding. 0.97

00:04:26.240 How's it to take?

00:04:26.800 Okay, good. 0.92

00:04:27.740 Disgusting is right.

00:04:28.460 I came to the comments expecting you to be getting cooked in some version of the story.

00:04:32.340 Sounds like you may have actually uncovered something here.

00:04:34.720 Congratulations.

00:04:35.460 Okay, cool.

00:04:36.100 Keep going a little.

00:04:37.400 Run on a platform means test renting.

00:04:39.020 So it was going to throw out.

00:04:39.840 Okay, interesting idea.

00:04:40.760 It's good to see you fighting.

00:04:41.940 Good.

00:04:42.680 Okay, preach.

00:04:43.760 Yes, 100%.

00:04:44.580 Amen.

00:04:45.700 Go a little bit lower, Rob, to see if there's any criticism of what's being said.

00:04:49.000 I guess what's happening here, and they figured something out with, what do you call it?

00:04:55.760 Algorithm.

00:04:56.360 If you comment, you automatically bring up the comments that are most favorable of you.

00:05:02.240 Do you understand what just happened right there?

00:05:03.480 I don't know if you understand what I'm saying to you.

00:05:03.880 Every one of them.

00:05:05.320 Shameful. 0.99

00:05:06.040 I'll be darned. 0.97

00:05:06.920 Yeah. 0.96

00:05:07.080 Look at that.

00:05:07.820 Those are the quick responses from Cuomo.

00:05:10.460 I commented there, and him and I exchanged messages yesterday.

00:05:14.060 I like Joey Marinario right there.

00:05:16.340 I just think that that just captures it.

00:05:18.400 One of the things I said to him yesterday was the following.

00:05:20.960 I said, if you roll up your sleeves and play offense like this daily, November 4th will be a good day.

00:05:28.340 Your opponent is young, nimble, energetic, and shameless.

00:05:31.400 You have to match that and beyond.

00:05:35.100 Running for mayor is very different than running for governor.

00:05:38.020 Keep playing offense, right?

00:05:39.540 What's the point there?

00:05:41.040 Running for governor is different than Congress, than Senate, than mayor, than president.

00:05:45.320 It's a very different game.

00:05:46.620 Like, you know, DeSantis was good for running for what?

00:05:49.740 Governor.

00:05:50.500 And he was Congress, I think, before, right?

00:05:52.180 But president was very different.

00:05:53.360 Yeah, Daytona District, he was a congressman.

00:05:55.220 Right.

00:05:55.680 So it's a very different game nationally versus this.

00:05:58.740 But the more central it is, the more smaller it is, the more it's grassroots.

00:06:04.240 The more it's shaking hands.

00:06:05.440 The more it's going there.

00:06:06.340 So Andrew Cuomo has to act like he's 30 years old, drinking his coffee, drinking his energy drink, whatever he goes.

00:06:15.480 Energize.

00:06:16.500 Keep the diet down.

00:06:18.080 Maybe no breakfast in the morning.

00:06:19.940 Go a little bit with energy where you're hungry throughout the day.

00:06:22.780 Maybe have your first meal at lunch.

00:06:24.760 Maybe have dinner early at 5 o'clock and still go back at it and play offense.

00:06:28.480 Because the reality of it is, this guy's not going to be slowing down.

00:06:30.900 Having said that, here's what de Blasio said, and then I'm going to come to you.

00:06:34.440 De Blasio, the former mayor, who is probably, I don't know, some will say the worst mayor New York's had in our lifetime.

00:06:43.440 He said, I did a rent freeze, and almost 2 million hardworking New Yorkers benefited.

00:06:48.520 Mamdani wants to do a rent freeze.

00:06:50.740 You know who doesn't want to do a rent freeze?

00:06:52.780 Andrew Cuomo.

00:06:53.920 And he thinks he can trick us into forgetting that.

00:06:56.540 Can we see the comments section below what people are saying about de Blasio?

00:06:59.400 Go a little bit lower.

00:07:00.580 Rob, okay.

00:07:02.300 Actually, you didn't go to the comments section.

00:07:03.720 Click on the comments section.

00:07:04.580 Yeah, right there.

00:07:05.400 So let's see what people are saying.

00:07:06.880 Go a little bit lower.

00:07:07.780 Go a little bit lower. 1.00

00:07:09.320 The former governor is hypocritical. 0.96

00:07:10.980 How do apartment owners continue to run business if you deny them the rent that they deserve for the property? 0.98

00:07:15.660 Thank you.

00:07:16.240 I am John Galt.

00:07:17.060 In fact, Mamdani wants to improve lives.

00:07:18.840 Hardworking in order.

00:07:19.480 The rest want to pamper the rich and rent freeze. 1.00

00:07:21.620 No problem.

00:07:22.220 Push those billionaires out and see what happens.

00:07:24.340 I heard reports that 123 billionaires may leave New York City if Zorana is elected.

00:07:27.740 I strongly suggest that 90% of their wealth be extracted via, oh my God, an exit tax.

00:07:33.900 Here's the hint.

00:07:34.580 If working people don't get a break soon, they're going to come take their shares the hard way.

00:07:40.340 Wow.

00:07:40.980 Read the next one.

00:07:41.660 The idea that New Yorkers benefited during the excruciatingly ideological and practical term is laughable.

00:07:46.540 New York City survived you.

00:07:48.140 It didn't thrive under your confused and egocentric leadership.

00:07:52.240 Adam, your thoughts on this.

00:07:53.220 Well, you know, this argument about rent freezes, let's play the pros and cons.

00:07:57.840 So what are the pros?

00:07:58.660 People that are renting, they basically protect vulnerable people from massive rent increases in expensive cities like New York City.

00:08:08.620 Let's play the con.

00:08:09.840 So landlords will then become slumlords because if you cannot increase the rent and pay your mortgage or pay your expenses, what are you going to do with the properties?

00:08:19.560 You're just going to let them rot and you're not going to maintain them. 0.84

00:08:22.040 You're not going to fix them and the properties will go to crap. 0.98

00:08:25.060 We all know that. 0.93

00:08:25.780 But as far as Andrew Cuomo goes.

00:08:27.760 Which is what's happening.

00:08:28.660 Very good point, which is what's happening currently right now.

00:08:30.820 Yeah, exactly.

00:08:31.260 But if you're Cuomo, as much as I'm a believer in Chris Cuomo's shift to the middle and being reasonable, it is way too late for Andrew Cuomo to do anything here.

00:08:45.120 Remember the song from One Republic that goes, it's too late, it's too late to apologize.

00:08:50.960 It's too late for you, Andrew Cuomo.

00:08:52.520 It ain't happening.

00:08:53.440 By the way, if you look at the poly markets right now, Zoran Mandani is 80% likely to win.

00:08:59.500 Cuomo and Eric Adams are combined, I think 16, 17%, 8 and 8, 9 and 8, whatever way you cut it.

00:09:07.220 There it is right there.

00:09:08.060 80, 90 and 8, and then Curtis Slowa, 1%.

00:09:11.100 Here's the bad news, guys.

00:09:14.220 Or good news for some of you.

00:09:15.760 This guy Mandani is going to win the New York City mayoral race.

00:09:19.460 And let's just be prepared for a communist Islamist to take over and let's see what happens in New York City. 0.93

00:09:24.840 I think a lot of them are going to be moving to Miami.

00:09:28.160 And don't discount that smile.

00:09:29.560 Look at that smile, Amemdani.

00:09:31.460 Forget about politics.

00:09:32.640 80%, 9%, Andrew, 8%.

00:09:35.060 This guy's got a smile that is infectious, like cancer.

00:09:38.740 But let me explain something to you how politics works.

00:09:41.720 Explain.

00:09:42.600 I'm going to explain something to you and I'm going to educate you.

00:09:44.840 Please, sir.

00:09:45.340 My friend here.

00:09:46.400 No, man, I'm just going to give you what's going on here.

00:09:48.020 So here's my opinion.

00:09:48.960 Maul ears.

00:09:49.360 Don't forget what happened with the great, legendary, apple-eating Canadian named Pierre Polyev.

00:09:56.940 Don't ever forget the greatness of his.

00:09:59.460 How he got cocky.

00:10:01.480 And I'm like, I'm going to, not only did he think he was going to be the prime minister of Canada,

00:10:06.500 it felt like he believed he was going to be the leader of the free world.

00:10:11.840 Pierre Polyev.

00:10:13.640 Yeah, he's a chevalu, you know what I'm saying?

00:10:15.900 Je ne sais quoi. 0.96

00:10:16.500 And last minute, two to four weeks before election, he gets destroyed by a freaking 0.85

00:10:24.560 World Economic Forum guy named Mark Carney.

00:10:27.760 And it becomes the worst political loss of our lifetime with a guy that had that big of

00:10:34.380 a flippant lead.

00:10:35.740 Embarrassing, right?

00:10:36.760 What does this mean?

00:10:38.400 If Andrew's your brother, if Andrew's my brother, you have to go on a podcast and address your F-ups.

00:10:46.500 You have to.

00:10:48.000 And I know in that family, neither one of them want to.

00:10:51.760 And that has to be an Italian thing, something their father told them many years ago.

00:10:55.620 Because they believe if you do, the other side's going to do what?

00:10:58.960 Trash your message.

00:10:59.620 Double down on you, right? 1.00

00:11:00.860 And just going to trash you.

00:11:01.840 But if he wants to go and address that and clear it up and go past it, you have to be

00:11:11.140 straight up.

00:11:12.300 But in the last four weeks of New York City, you don't know who's going to come out and

00:11:16.360 support.

00:11:16.840 You still don't know.

00:11:18.080 Apparently, Trump and Andrew Cuomo had a conversation together where Trump is wanting to help Andrew

00:11:24.000 Cuomo win.

00:11:24.580 And if you put up a story, Andrew Cuomo, type in Andrew.

00:11:28.000 Yeah.

00:11:28.300 Trump, Andrew.

00:11:29.340 Yeah.

00:11:29.940 And Trump.

00:11:30.460 Yeah.

00:11:30.880 If you put and then go to news, there's a story of Trump called them or something happened.

00:11:36.200 Did Trump and Cuomo actually talk on the phone three days ago?

00:11:38.860 Yeah.

00:11:38.960 Can you click on that?

00:11:40.220 So zoom in a little.

00:11:41.140 There's no story.

00:11:41.920 It's just a video.

00:11:42.540 Let's see what the video says, Rob.

00:11:43.880 Sure.

00:11:44.160 Go on that and click on the video if you could.

00:11:46.740 Yeah.

00:11:47.120 Go ahead.

00:11:47.480 OK, we got a commercial.

00:11:49.700 So apparently these guys spoke and you think Trump's going to want Mamdani to win over 0.98

00:11:55.320 Andrew Cuomo? 0.93

00:11:56.440 Don't forget the moment Trump saw that Pierre Polyev was being cocky and arrogant. 0.85

00:12:03.500 What did Trump do?

00:12:04.320 I kind of like the Carney guy who ended up winning.

00:12:07.240 Carney won.

00:12:09.020 Carney won.

00:12:09.760 Is this it, Rob?

00:12:10.440 Can you play this clip?

00:12:11.140 Andrew Cuomo is doubling down on his denials of reports that he spoke with President Trump

00:12:16.520 regarding the election.

00:12:17.880 But the Democratic nominees are on Mamdani does not believe him and is lashing out at

00:12:22.660 the former governor.

00:12:23.680 Robert Moses joins us now with the very latest on this.

00:12:26.960 Robert.

00:12:27.400 Curt and Rosanna, who says the summer is the quiet time leading up to the election?

00:12:31.400 Far from it.

00:12:32.240 With 88 days to go until the election, the candidates are still sparring over that New

00:12:36.400 York Times report claiming that President Donald Trump and former Governor Andrew Cuomo spoke

00:12:40.720 by phone in recent weeks.

00:12:42.100 Cuomo says the president actually prefers state Assemblyman Zeran Mamdani and Mayor Eric Adams

00:12:47.720 over him for different reasons and denies the New York Times reporting.

00:12:53.100 I can't remember the last time I spoke to President Trump.

00:12:56.640 I've never spoken to him about the mayor's race.

00:13:01.760 Mamdani doesn't believe that.

00:13:03.680 He accuses Cuomo of, quote, conspiring with President Trump to the detriment.

00:13:09.260 Pause it, pause it, pause it, pause it.

00:13:09.900 Okay, well, I don't understand the strategy behind it.

00:13:14.320 What?

00:13:15.120 I don't understand the strategy behind it.

00:13:17.500 So you think it's a good idea for you to rally the troops to get behind you to claim

00:13:25.160 that you're not a Trump guy?

00:13:29.040 You think that's the better strategy?

00:13:31.140 You don't think New Yorkers who, the Israel community of New York, the logical community 1.00

00:13:42.380 of New York, the billionaires of New York, the Christians of New York, the Republicans 0.72

00:13:46.200 of New York, the libertarians of New York, the independents of New York, you don't think

00:13:51.400 Trump can help you get that vote and beat Mamdani?

00:13:54.620 I don't know.

00:13:56.580 I don't know.

00:13:57.480 I don't understand that strategy.

00:13:58.720 Do you understand what I'm saying?

00:13:59.760 I understand exactly what you're saying.

00:14:03.100 There is a certain arrogance that went with Pierre Polivet and that goes with Mandami.

00:14:10.740 Forget their positions.

00:14:11.920 But there is a certain arrogance that goes with people that are up in the polls.

00:14:18.200 And sometimes it doesn't make you much of a fighter.

00:14:20.820 And then to sit there and say you've conspired with Trump.

00:14:24.100 Conspired with Trump?

00:14:25.020 Why don't you just come out and say you're anti-everything that the United States stands

00:14:31.960 for?

00:14:32.400 Why don't you just come out and say that?

00:14:33.660 I don't know.

00:14:34.500 I don't know.

00:14:34.880 It's just not the play.

00:14:36.500 I don't know if that's the right play.

00:14:39.500 Especially after.

00:14:40.440 Like, you've got so many easy things to go after.

00:14:42.020 That was great, by the way.

00:14:42.880 And that got tens of millions of views just on X, let alone how many views it got of people

00:14:47.280 talking about it on podcasts.

00:14:49.040 Here's another story that came up with Mamdani.

00:14:50.780 It's the fact that he hired private security after calling to defund the police.

00:14:56.360 Adam, not defend the police.

00:14:57.780 No.

00:14:57.900 He called to defund the police.

00:15:00.700 Totally different opposites.

00:15:01.820 Totally different opposites.

00:15:02.920 I don't know if you've got a clip on that, Rob, or not.

00:15:05.220 I do.

00:15:05.460 This is the actual clip from 2020 where he made the claim to defund the police.

00:15:09.520 That's the security he hired?

00:15:10.980 Yes.

00:15:11.600 That's who it is.

00:15:12.600 Seriously, Rob, that's a security?

00:15:14.180 Look at that guy right there.

00:15:14.840 No, play the clip.

00:15:16.320 There's no way that's a security.

00:15:17.780 Are you for defunding the police?

00:15:20.220 Are you for a serious reform that people can see on the ground?

00:15:24.520 I am in favor of defunding the police.

00:15:26.640 Yes.

00:15:27.000 And you elaborate.

00:15:27.640 Yes.

00:15:27.900 What that means is that right now in New York City, we have a budget of close to $6 billion

00:15:32.680 for the New York City Police Department.

00:15:35.700 And that is an astronomical figure.

00:15:37.780 Wow.

00:15:38.220 And I think that what we need to do is not chip away a million dollars or five million.

00:15:43.020 I think in this first year, we need to take a billion dollars out of that budget.

00:15:46.240 Okay, so he said that.

00:15:48.340 Now, he openly, you know, the Mamdani spent $33,495 in June and July on advanced security

00:15:58.960 and investigations, making three payments ranging from $8,000 to $13,000.

00:16:03.740 Despite his 2020 statements like queer liberation means defunding the police, the company advertises 0.99

00:16:09.020 itself as a proud employer of cops in New York Police Department, which Mamdani has personally

00:16:13.000 called to defund following a Manhattan shooting, where an off-duty NYPD police officer was murdered.

00:16:18.640 Mamdani faced backlash for his anti-cop stance on X.

00:16:21.980 I'm heartbroken.

00:16:23.040 And, you know, we've read that tweet before.

00:16:24.920 But there's many opportunities to go up against this after he had a massive wedding.

00:16:30.260 I just think, I don't know who is Cuomo's campaign manager and who he's talking to about

00:16:37.540 strategy.

00:16:38.680 I don't know.

00:16:39.460 I hope it's somebody that isn't the same as usual because you're not going in a typical,

00:16:45.760 traditional, same old campaign as you have in the past.

00:16:49.980 This is a case study nobody can give you advice on.

00:16:55.680 I don't know if that makes sense.

00:16:56.720 Nobody can give you advice on this case study.

00:16:59.000 There's nothing off the shelf.

00:17:00.040 There's never been a time that you can go and look at a campaign like the one today where

00:17:04.880 Trump's at, where Mamdani's at, where America's at, where New York is at. 0.51

00:17:08.020 There's never been, and where you are at.

00:17:10.740 So I don't know.

00:17:12.320 I don't know if I'm taking counsel from the typical guys that are, let me, here's what

00:17:16.180 James Carver, let me tell you what I'm going to, I think this is a very, very different,

00:17:19.980 it's a mistake to take advice from anybody on politics right now that's above 60 years

00:17:24.640 old on this campaign.

00:17:25.520 My opinion.

00:17:26.120 Vinny.

00:17:26.320 I mean, well, first off, I want Adam's, I think Adam's right.

00:17:31.280 And if I had to bet, if somebody gave me a hundred grand and said, you have to bet this

00:17:34.380 who you're betting on, Mamdani's going to win. 0.77

00:17:36.360 And good.

00:17:37.360 I want New Yorkers to feel and see what the hell that you want it.

00:17:41.820 Like it's, by the way, he's not hiding.

00:17:44.260 He's letting you know, defund the police.

00:17:46.880 He's pro-Islamic, whatever the hell he's doing. 0.97

00:17:49.720 He was talking about, he said something along the lines of, he argued that suicide bombers

00:17:54.280 need to be understood as a political category.

00:17:57.000 His father said that.

00:17:57.580 His father?

00:17:58.020 His father said that, not him.

00:17:59.300 So thank you for clarifying.

00:18:00.620 Who's a professor at...

00:18:01.400 Mamdani's father said that.

00:18:02.520 His father, my bad.

00:18:03.920 So that's what you're dealing with.

00:18:06.200 And that's what you want.

00:18:07.400 You're going to get what you want.

00:18:08.740 And you made a great point.

00:18:09.660 I don't want to give away anything, Pat, what you recently said.

00:18:11.480 That in four years, when we come back, because the elections win, is it April?

00:18:16.260 No, November.

00:18:18.140 Watch what's going to happen to them.

00:18:19.780 But in fairness for the people...

00:18:21.100 I said that to all the guys at Jubilee.

00:18:22.660 I don't want to give it away.

00:18:23.980 You said that.

00:18:24.680 And here's, at the end of the day, I think I mentioned this once too.

00:18:27.700 Look at the pool of people.

00:18:29.580 They have Eric Adams, okay?

00:18:32.040 Andrew Cuomo, with all due respect, what he did during COVID, there's no coming back from that.

00:18:37.360 What he did with all the old people and all the deaths, nobody's going to forget that. 1.00

00:18:41.480 So you have Eric Adams, you have him. 0.99

00:18:43.580 This is their best choice, is a freaking communist, okay? 0.98

00:18:47.860 So good, good. 0.98

00:18:48.800 And the people that are backing him, the people that they're interviewing, and the man on the street,

00:18:52.000 they think he's the savior.

00:18:53.580 Oh, he's going to...

00:18:54.700 No police.

00:18:56.480 You know what that means?

00:18:57.380 With the amount of crime in New York, you know what that means, Adam?

00:19:00.520 That they're not going to have cops.

00:19:02.080 They're going to have social workers.

00:19:03.480 When you get stabbed, a social worker is going to come up to you and be like, to the stabber.

00:19:08.280 Hey, how do you feel? 0.93

00:19:09.780 What's making you stab that guy? 0.85

00:19:11.480 Why are you stabbing him?

00:19:13.680 What's it like at home?

00:19:15.100 They are doomed.

00:19:15.960 I'm telling you right now, it's the modern-day Gotham City, and I don't feel bad for them.

00:19:19.500 You keep voting for these people, good for you.

00:19:21.760 I'm just coming from a New Yorker.

00:19:22.980 Amen.

00:19:23.580 There's two angles there.

00:19:24.760 The first angle is the one that Pat asked.

00:19:26.700 And I think that Cuomo needs to be talking to the core independents that are in Portland.

00:19:32.560 Portland, Oregon.

00:19:33.620 Remember, they defunded the police.

00:19:35.100 They had that little zone that was downtown.

00:19:36.840 I don't remember the name of it.

00:19:38.080 They gave it a name.

00:19:38.920 It was the zone that was downtown.

00:19:40.620 Chaz? 0.96

00:19:41.400 Yeah, yeah.

00:19:41.900 Or whatever it was.

00:19:42.720 Yeah, Chaz. 0.97

00:19:43.480 And guess what?

00:19:44.160 Now they've come back, and the people of Portland, Oregon are like, you know, this defund the police thing didn't work.

00:19:49.400 We want, and it's ridiculous the percentages you see in polls of people that want them to please fund the police in Portland, Oregon.

00:19:57.280 I think it was a poll that was done that we covered on the podcast about three weeks ago.

00:20:01.240 It was over 65 percent.

00:20:03.340 Over two-thirds of all voters were like, yeah, you know, a few cops around here would be helpful, come in handy.

00:20:09.700 So I believe that they need to be talking to Cuomo's campaign.

00:20:14.000 I agree, Pat.

00:20:14.980 Nobody over 60 that's the usual suspect. 0.99

00:20:17.240 They've got to go get to some people that are running these successful campaigns back against it in places like Portland and bring it back.

00:20:24.760 And George Will, our friend George Will, was on Bill Maher, and he sums it up at the end.

00:20:31.600 This is great.

00:20:32.120 Go for it, Rob.

00:20:33.480 I was about to get started.

00:20:34.960 One of our leading lights was a socialist named Anurian Bevan.

00:20:38.620 He said, what could go wrong?

00:20:40.280 He said, we have a nation bedded on coal, surrounded by fish.

00:20:43.980 It would take an organizational genius to have a shortage of either.

00:20:48.280 In three years, they had a shortage of both.

00:20:51.300 That's socialism.

00:20:52.860 And by the way, what George Will said here, I think yesterday or on Friday, I don't know when this was.

00:20:57.800 He said, I hope they win.

00:20:59.440 Yes.

00:20:59.900 I want him to win because every 20 years we need a conspicuous, confined experience with social media so we can crack it up again.

00:21:05.700 I am so on the same page with this one.

00:21:08.640 I can't wait to see that happen.

00:21:10.560 But there's a part of me that doesn't want to.

00:21:12.360 There's the other part of me that wants a case study.

00:21:14.040 Well, those of you that don't know George Will, I think he was one of the first people that got you into the political game.

00:21:19.900 He was a very smart guy and definitely made his way in the world.

00:21:24.820 Regarding New York City and the potential mayor, Zoran Mondani, people think that this is sort of a bug.

00:21:32.240 I can't believe that they're going to vote for this communist, this socialist.

00:21:35.580 I can't believe it.

00:21:36.620 What people don't understand is this is not a bug.

00:21:38.700 This is a feature.

00:21:39.900 The people of New York City are voting for him because he's a communist, because he's an Islamist, because he's a socialist. 0.68

00:21:48.020 That is the reason that they're voting for him.

00:21:50.020 And this whole social experiment that we're doing where the taxpayers will have to pay for all this.

00:21:54.880 Here's a guy who's basically the anti-Zoran Mondani explaining how it works.

00:21:59.040 You got this, Rob?

00:22:00.200 Zoran is going to pay for free child care, free buses when he's going to step into office on the first day.

00:22:05.400 And he's going to realize, actually, the mayor doesn't have any power to raise money on the rich. 0.98

00:22:10.280 And that was his plan to pay for all this crap to begin with. 0.97

00:22:13.200 I'll tell you how he's going to pay for it. 0.96

00:22:14.760 He's going to pay for it by raising property taxes, raising other taxes in any way that he can.

00:22:18.760 The thing you've got to understand is I'm from South Richmond Hill.

00:22:22.340 People in the outer boroughs over there, they don't have these big, fancy corporate tech jobs.

00:22:26.240 They're not celebrities with fat salaries.

00:22:28.080 The way they make their money is they own maybe a deli across the street or they own a spice shop or they work there.

00:22:33.420 And those people are the ones that are going to absorb these higher taxes that he's going to use to generate income for his ill-conceived ideas.

00:22:40.320 I understand what he's saying.

00:22:42.320 And by the way, while we're on New York City, let me tell you how many bad ideas New York City keeps coming up with.

00:22:46.820 This is another one for you.

00:22:47.620 Look at that guy right there, by the way.

00:22:48.900 Yeah, go back to that one, Rob.

00:22:50.200 See that picture?

00:22:50.800 Look at that guy.

00:22:51.360 Look at that stud. 0.95

00:22:52.460 Look at a young George Will and a young PBD.

00:22:54.800 That is March of 2009, 16 years ago, when I heard him give a speech.

00:23:00.360 And from that moment on, I'm like, man, this makes it.

00:23:02.840 Lawyers are ruining America.

00:23:04.440 He talks about stories about all this stuff.

00:23:06.500 And I came back.

00:23:07.300 I gave a 90-minute talk the following day, Saturday morning.

00:23:10.260 And this was a Clermont Institute event with Larry Arnn.

00:23:14.360 I think Pat Boone was at my table.

00:23:16.860 I met John Voight.

00:23:17.860 I met a bunch of guys.

00:23:18.920 Fred Reba, all these guys.

00:23:20.580 This is right around the time you started PHP, no?

00:23:23.060 This is right before I started PHP.

00:23:24.760 Correct.

00:23:24.940 A part of this meeting was why I started PHP, believe it or not.

00:23:29.360 Thank you, George Will.

00:23:30.220 Yeah, this is the day it happened.

00:23:32.260 The Gentleman's Series, VT Merch.

00:23:34.620 Let me tell you, the ties that you ask for, black ties.

00:23:38.920 This is 100% silk with the Valuetainment logo is on it with the pocket square tie.

00:23:45.100 We have them in black and blue.

00:23:47.480 Absolutely sharp, incredible quality.

00:23:51.200 It's not the thin, shiny quality.

00:23:53.620 It's great quality.

00:23:54.940 The ties that are here.

00:23:56.140 And the other one is, this is limited edition, 100% leather, Valuetainment bag that's out here.

00:24:02.820 Leather shoulder tote bag.

00:24:05.580 Feel the quality on how the leather feels, by the way.

00:24:08.220 I feel like Vanna White right here.

00:24:09.460 This feels great.

00:24:10.260 And by the way, the VT logo is there.

00:24:12.720 Adam knows about leather.

00:24:14.260 And then when you open it up, when you open it up, inside of it, you will see future looks bright right here. 0.98

00:24:20.340 Sick, absolutely sick.

00:24:22.520 And by the way, the other day, Michael Beasley was doing a podcast.

00:24:25.660 We're not seeing people actually wearing a future looks bright hat all over the place.

00:24:29.760 Michael Beasley's doing a podcast.

00:24:30.400 NBA player, number two pick of the draft, many years ago by the Miami Heat.

00:24:34.000 I can't wait to see millions on top of millions.

00:24:37.780 I get so many people on X who are posting pictures while they watch this podcast.

00:24:41.700 And they'll tell me how they're watching the podcast.

00:24:43.160 But they'll say, man, look at my future looks bright hat.

00:24:44.840 Look at my future looks bright gear.

00:24:46.600 Love seeing the support.

00:24:48.120 More importantly, we need to convert more people that are coming here.

00:24:51.380 We were just in L.A. this last weekend for, what do you call it, that show that happens.

00:24:56.260 We won't post any of the pictures.

00:24:57.440 You know the guy that sits in the middle?

00:24:59.120 Jubilee.

00:24:59.440 20 people will grill you.

00:25:00.840 I was in the middle with 20 anti-capitalists.

00:25:02.940 That was awesome, Pat.

00:25:03.420 It was epic.

00:25:04.580 It was fire.

00:25:05.600 And it will be released in the next four to six weeks.

00:25:08.500 Cannot wait to have you guys see it.

00:25:10.100 But the whole premise is we need more people thinking the future looks bright instead of being victims.

00:25:16.060 And, you know, it's not fair.

00:25:17.460 I'm not happy about what's going to happen.

00:25:19.040 I'm so scared about the future.

00:25:20.200 So if you support that as well, go to vtmurch.com.

00:25:23.020 Place your order.
