00:00:00.000 Trump is officially suing BBC for $5 billion, despite the apology, but for $5 billion.
00:00:07.640 Think about how big this manipulation is from a journalistic company that lacks integrity,
00:00:13.480 where the president is suing you for $5 billion, where your CEO has to resign.
00:00:18.380 Rob, go ahead.
00:00:18.960 We'll sue them. We'll sue them for anywhere between $1 billion and $5 billion, probably sometime next week.
00:00:33.200 Well, I think I have to do it. I mean, they've even admitted that they cheated.
00:00:39.540 I mean, not that they couldn't have not done that. They cheated. They changed the words coming out of my mouth.
00:00:45.860 But that's worse than what CBS did with Goblin. They changed her answer, but they said it showed real coming out of her mouth.
00:00:53.820 He's going to own it. They're going to change BBC, the beautiful channel.
00:00:58.080 But I think this is going to change the game. But I think this is going to change the game.
00:01:02.640 I think it's going to change the game because I think it's also going to change the game in the next 10, 20 years.
00:01:09.200 You know what else I think is going to happen? Podcasts are going to go through this.
00:01:12.560 Like, they have to watch every single thing.
00:01:15.540 No, no, no. If you become a very big podcast, you've got 10 million viewers a week, 20 million viewers a week.
00:01:21.420 Don't forget, Cronkite used to get 30 million viewers every time he was on because there was only a couple shows back in the day.
00:01:26.740 So it's not like he had a lot of competition, three shows he was competing with.
00:01:29.940 So two or three shows he was competing with.
00:01:31.820 So if that happens with podcasts and guys are coming out saying, you know, fake stuff and doing it themselves as well, I think there's some, I don't think this is going away.
00:01:45.280 I think the level of, I mean, of course, the podcast thing is going to be different because they're going to say, well, I'm just a podcaster.
00:01:51.020 I'm giving my opinion.
00:01:52.320 I'm a talking kid.
00:01:52.960 I'm not somebody that went to school Columbia to start BBC and be a journalist.
00:01:58.240 That's not where I'm at.
00:01:58.960 You know, just like comedians are like, I'm just a comedian, man.
00:02:01.540 I'm just a comedian.
00:02:02.460 I'm just a podcaster.
00:02:03.880 But I do think this accountability for companies like BBC, CBS, that's actually a very good thing that has taken place, Tom.
00:02:12.420 So two things.
00:02:13.360 We covered it last podcast, but we'll say it again.
00:02:15.360 We have to remember she that resigned was the past president of NBC News for the four years before and after 2016 election.
00:02:26.320 She was the president of NBC News.
00:02:29.460 And so she was doing things over here and she was presiding over reporting that a lot of people talked about, right?
00:02:36.520 A lot of people had issues with that.
00:02:38.200 You know, I'm not going to go point by point, but there were things that were going on.
00:02:42.480 And she was the president of NBC News, 2013, 2017.
00:02:47.740 There's those four years that spanned over 2016, that election.
00:02:52.180 And so she was there with Russia.
00:02:54.240 She was there with those things.
00:02:55.260 And that's what she was doing.
00:02:56.840 So was she personally approving it?
00:02:59.460 I don't know.
00:03:00.020 You were the president of NBC News when all that stuff was going down.
00:03:02.420 Number one.
00:03:03.200 Number two, the words to watch out for, Pat's absolutely right, are newsworthy and public opinion.
00:03:09.860 The minute, why did they use insurgency, insurgency, insurgency, insurgency?
00:03:14.280 Because that's the word in the Constitution.
00:03:15.560 The lawsuit will swing on newsworthy and public opinion.
00:03:20.120 And in the future, if a podcast, well, that podcast has got 20 million views a week, you know,
00:03:25.560 and what they talk about is newsworthy and moves public opinion, and they give a forum to candidates.
00:03:34.280 Bang.
00:03:34.960 At that moment, he's right.
00:03:36.960 Now you're going to have people come after podcasts because you were too newsworthy and too much public opinion on the opposite side from their candidates,
00:03:45.640 and they're going to come after you.
00:03:46.940 Rob, what is this?
00:03:47.620 This is Alexis.
00:03:48.860 Yes.
00:03:49.160 This came down late last week.
00:03:51.720 Cash Patel's girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, she is currently suing three podcasters who claimed or at least alleged or said that she may be a Mossad honeypot.
00:04:02.240 Did they allege or did they say?
00:04:05.220 Go ahead, Rob.
00:04:06.040 Go ahead.
00:04:06.220 How did they say it?
00:04:07.640 What I could find, Elijah Schaefer just made tweets about it, but they weren't even tweets saying that she was a honeypot.
00:04:13.900 It was just they were connecting different tweets that he put out that kind of linked it to the idea that she's a honeypot.
00:04:21.160 But there was no tweet where he's like, this woman is working on behalf of Israel.
00:04:24.700 Got it.
00:04:24.860 It's a pretty wild, like, and one guy did a long podcast about it.
00:04:28.280 It's crazy that the director of the FBI's girlfriend's going after these people, which I don't think they're not going to win.
00:04:34.900 But Pat, just to give a heads up, I'm so happy when I hear the story about Trump, all the fake news, all the Jim Acosta, all the Trump collusion, all the lying.
00:04:42.580 And I'm so happy.
00:04:44.140 So just to give you guys a little tally, he sued YouTube, 25.5 million, Meta, 25 million, X, 10 million, CBS Paramount, 16 million, ABC News, Disney, 16 million.
00:04:55.680 That's a combined total of 92 million, $500,000.
00:04:59.140 Good for all of you.
00:05:00.700 Good.
00:05:01.300 Rob, who's this?
00:05:01.940 This is Elijah Schaefer, one of the podcasters that's being sued by Alexis Watkins.
00:05:07.980 Here he is talking about the actual lawsuit and what he said about her.
00:05:11.420 Since Kash Patel was appointed as director of the FBI in February of 2025, the conspiratorial corners of the internet and social media have been spreading false narratives about Ms. Wilkins as an Israeli Mossad agent spy or, quote, honeypot, who is only in the relationship with Kash Patel to spy on and manipulate the United States government.
00:05:32.720 Defendant's wordless reply, it goes on to say.
00:05:35.700 So to clarify, before we go any further, if you post a public photo of a government official and his romantic partner who he's not married to, a very important fact we'll talk about, you as a private citizen or a member of the press can be bankrupted, have your entire company shut down, or completely mocked, slandered, and dragged through lawfare because of what?
00:05:58.300 Because of your First Amendment protected rights.
00:06:00.560 Now, I believe that this lawsuit is not only attack on our First Amendment and our constitutional rights given to us by God, but I believe this is also a violation of SLAP ordinances.
00:06:10.660 This seems to be a proxy lawsuit, if anything, from Kash Patel himself, and I have the evidence to prove it.
00:06:17.420 And Rob, he said wordless, so he just posted the photo, so he didn't even, he didn't, he didn't allege or say anything.
00:06:23.680 Just the photo alone is going to get him a lawsuit?
00:06:26.520 That's pretty wild, bro.
00:06:27.620 I mean, you can do that, but it doesn't mean you're winning.
00:06:30.060 Yeah, exactly.
00:06:30.800 The difference between some of these versus what BBC did, they manipulated and put a different word that he said.
00:06:40.160 Exactly.
00:06:40.660 CBS manipulated.
00:06:42.200 This guy's given an opinion.
00:06:43.740 I think sometimes you have to be careful with certain lawsuits.
00:06:47.380 You know, in the last 30 years, do you know how many people we sued in the last 30 years?
00:06:53.180 How many people you think I've been involved in suing others in the last 30 years, 26 years?
00:07:00.620 So, PHP, everything.
00:07:01.680 Everything I've ever done, how many people you think I've been a part of suing?
00:07:05.520 Five.
00:07:06.360 Tom, what do you think the numbers?
00:07:07.780 I think probably about 15 people because a couple of the suits involved multiple defendants.
00:07:12.980 And it was one big suit where people were doing really bad things.
00:07:17.180 Now, watch this.
00:07:17.860 Because in the last 15 years, how many times have we been asked to sue people that we didn't sue?
00:07:25.220 Oh, my gosh.
00:07:26.020 It was weekly.
00:07:27.140 Hundreds.
00:07:27.700 It was weekly.
00:07:28.560 Hundreds.
00:07:29.100 The point I'm trying to make to you is like, hey, I'm having a tough time in Albuquerque.
00:07:32.100 Can you sue this guy?
00:07:32.960 This person said this.
00:07:34.260 That person did this.
00:07:35.680 This one.
00:07:36.160 No, no, no, no.
00:07:37.720 So, you've got to be selective in some of these things because if you just go left and right, you're bringing more attention to it than anything else.
00:07:47.980 It's signal over noise.
00:07:49.100 This is why it's so important.
00:07:49.900 I'm so not a fan of it.
00:07:50.780 But if you do steal and you do lie, like we have a handful we're going through right now, everybody needs to know what you did.
00:07:56.720 A hundred percent.
00:07:57.140 You need to be held accountable no matter what.
00:07:59.980 And, you know, we're going through a process right now.
00:08:01.820 But anyways, I'd like to make an announcement.
00:08:03.660 Folks, we're doing something crazy.
00:08:05.780 And let me tell you what this crazy thing is.
